nineteen forty seven. One family has shaped American history decade
after decade. That's the Kennedy family. But who really are
the Kennedys?

Canaday? I'm the first Lady Adventure from the White House.
On January nineteen sixty one, the new President and his
first Lady emerged from the White House and the new
era begins in Washington, known as the Age of Camels.

Speaker 5 (00:37):
We are broadcasting this morning the announcement of Democratic Senator
Robert F. Kennedy of New York that he will be
a candidate for the presidency.

Speaker 4 (00:45):
So who was that guy getting so much attention from
the media this morning?

Speaker 2 (00:48):
By George?

Speaker 4 (00:49):
That was John as in John F.

Speaker 2 (00:51):
Kennedy Junior. I'm George Severies. I'm a comedian and writer,
a former editor at Gaker and the host of Stradio Lab.
