Hawaii POV - Peter Bond (Island Guitars; Hat Makes the Man) (2019)

Peter Bond was at one time my manager when we worked at a record store in Honolulu. I continued on into radio and he continued on with music and guitar repair/maintenance at Honolulu's Island Guitar. He was always about listening, creating and sharing music. Hat Makes the Man, O.L.R., Spiny Norman, Monkey Hate Circus and Peter Bond and (the Whatevers/the Recliners/etc) are a few of the band he has expressed his songs and teamed up with fellow lovers of live music. While I've known him as a friend, family man and musician, this Talk Story was a quick chance to hear what he remembers about the music scene in Hawaii...circa late 1970's through now.
