(00:00):
Hey, how are you doing,Jimmy Lakey behind the microphone. The interview

(00:04):
I had with the Robert H.Bourg Junior is already up at my website
Jimmy Lakey dot com. Thanks forlistening to six hundred kcol by the way,
I'll get the Ken Bramowitz up therehere in just a moment, talking
about the multifront war and interesting comparisonto the way I love the analysis of
the way we fight war, sevenways that the war is being fought and
all the crazy things happening on auniversity campus in America today, they all

(00:29):
have the fingerprints of all the foesthat we're fighting and struggle with around the
globe. For as he said, the reds, the greens, or the
blues. So interesting and I thinkyou about enjoy the book if you enjoyed
that analysis kind of trying to makesense of a crazy, crazy world.
And again, Kennebromowitz, the bookand the book is available. We talked
about the interview, but also goto my website Jimmy Lakey dot com.

(00:50):
I'll post the interview up here injust a moment, and I think you
shall enjoy it. And if youdon't enjoy it, pretend you do and
tell me you do anyway, allright. Gregory Wrightstone is a longtime friend
to the program. Been a whilesince we've had him on the show.
He's the author of a Very ConvenientWarming, How Modest Warming and more CO
two are Benefiting humanity. That've alwaysfreaks some people out out of there when

(01:11):
they hear that, but you gotto read it. Gregory Wrightstone's latest book
of Very Convenient Warming. Let mewelcome Gregory into the show again. Greg's
been a while walking back to theprogram. Oh good, way back with
you, Jimmy. I just waslooking. I think I've been on with
you fifteen times over the last ohmany several, probably five years. So
thanks for having me back on.I appreciate you coming on. You're also

(01:33):
the director of the CO two Coalitionat Arlington, Virginia. People can learn
more about that. We'll give thewebsite here in a second. I got
this headline. I want to getto your taking on Mount Saint Helens.
Most of us I remember is aweek hild this volcanic eruption happened. I
think I was in early elementary schoolwhen it happened. But evidently Mount Saint
Helens is recharging, it's going tofire back up. Help us understand this

(01:55):
piece from the New York Post.Yeah, it's the magma chain, which
are tens of miles below the mountain. It looks like it's refilling, which
it is an active volcano. They'remaking too much out of this though.
As it turns out, there weremany dozens of earthquakes, they say,

(02:15):
that have been measured virtually all ofthem. There was only one that reached
a two point zero magnitude, whichmost people can't feel. The minimum to
feel an earthquakes, I think aroundtwo and a half, and all of
these were But what that tells usis there's magma moving under the mountain.
I don't think that there's any imminentdanger. Again, it's hard to make

(02:40):
predictions like this, but if wesee, if we see more, we
were able to tell the last timethat blew, they were able to predict
that, not accurately, but prettyclosely. They said, well, this
thing's gonna go, and you betterget off the mountain. Most people did,
some didn't, paid with their lives. So this is it's an interesting

(03:01):
As a geologist. I find allof this fascinating. And there are a
few active volcanoes we have here inthe continental of the United States, and
Mount Saint Helens is one of those. Uh you hear by the way the
voice of Gregory Wrightstone, director ofthe CO two Coalition out of Arlington,
Virginia. His best selling latest bookis called A Very Convenient Warming, How

(03:21):
Modest Warming and more CO two arebenefiting humanity, Gregory writes to my guest,
Gregory, I talked about this peoplelike shock that Mount Saint Helens is
going to refill or the magnum chambersare refilling. Volcanoes don't just usually have
just one eruption. There's a lifespanfor them and eventually they I guess they
die off. But this is notunusual for a volcano to do this.

(03:43):
Some people are making it sound likesome global crisis that Mount Saint Helens is
refilling, But that's how volcanoes act, is it not? It is and
it's nothing, nothing to be alarmedabout. We had an experienced in earthquake
here in the East. I believeit was in New Jersey and it was
a two point five and I wasclose to it and I didn't feel it.
Although I know as a geologist wehave a couple of things on our

(04:05):
bucket list. One of them isto experience in an earthquake, and I
never have. Maybe I need tomove to California or maybe Mount Saint Helens
so I could feel one. Butno, these things are part of nature.
There's been some false claims that seismicactivity has increased over the last forty

(04:26):
years, and those claims are justfalse. There's been no documented increase in
volcanic activity. Some people are tryingto point that, well, the warming
we have today is because of volcanicactivity. That's we're seeing more and more
at the ocean, mid ocean ventsand things like that. That's warming the
ocean. But it's just categorically false. Your latest book, you got many

(04:50):
great books. You latest book itis called a Very Convenient Warming, How
modest warming and more CO two arebenefiting humanity. I'll let you give a
quick pitch of the book and alsothe CO two coalition, because we're surrounded
with inundating with information that, asyou said, is a lot of times
false, and you kind of bringsanity to that world of climate frenzy.

(05:14):
We talk about the book and yourCO two coalition. As you said,
I've been on with you many manytimes over the last several years, and
we've been talking how there is noclimate crisis, and that's true. There
isn't. It's pretty categorically false.But we've gone beyond that, and I've
gone beyond this with this book, the state that not only is there not
a crisis, but by almost everymetric we look at, Earth's ecosystems are

(05:39):
thriving and prospering, and humanity isbenefiting for modest warming and more co two.
I call it the greatest untold storyof the twenty first century, that
of a thriving planet and a thrivingof the human condition, and we should
celebrate that. It's completely at oddswith what the alarmist factions and Al Gore

(06:02):
or John Carry, Gretta Thunberg andall the rest want you to believe.
They need you to believe in aclimate crisis because fear is a great motivator.
Why else would you and your listenersvoluntarily give up all these freedoms that
they want to take from you. They want to in the control that we're

(06:24):
going to hand over because of afalse climate crisis. They're trying to tell
you what to drive, how muchwater, comes out of your shower and
your toilet, how you heat yourhome. Virtually every aspect of your life
can be controlled. And so hereat the CO two Coalition, we now
have some close to two hundred ofthe top scientists and energy experts in the

(06:46):
world that believe, as I do, that modest warming and Marcia two are
actually quite beneficial to this. We'vegot people like we just added John klous
Or, who's the PhD Nobel Laureatein physics for twenty twenty two. It's
hard to call him a science denire. We have some of the top businesses
in the world looking at this, and we all promote and believe in the

(07:13):
benefits of more CO two and sothat's what this book is is a celebration
of what's actually happening. It's calledA Very Convenient Truth. Available in where
find books are sold, or goto the CO two Coalition website. Gregor,
I got to run here, butwhat's the website, sir CO two
Coalition dot org. CO two Coalitiondot org to learn more. You got

and more CO two are benefiting humanityCO two Coalition dot org or look up

things that are moving in the stateParty. Again, I don't get into
Republican Party inside baseball politics, butthe last several months I've almost had my
hand forced to talk about some ofthe weird stuff that's going on, and
it looks like there's action being takenby those that do play the inside baseball

(09:24):
of the Republican Party. We'll divein a little bit of it here in
just a second, everybody stand byJimmy Lakey. Debate Day in America.
