You know, there's a lot of great stuff that's happening
this summer, and what a better time right now to
take the kids, especially for something to do than take
them to the us S Lexington to go check out
some of the great stuff that's going on. And you've
got a special event that's actually coming up pretty quick right.

Yes, it's this Friday, Friday at thirteenth, but we're celebrating that.
It's a good day because we're having our Still Beach
lu Au aboard the USS Lexington Museum from seven to
ten pm. It's a Hawaiian theme party. We're going to
have live music from the band Trip Tonight, a Hawaiian
buffet including a pig ROAs and then some fun games

like limbo with Lieutenant Lex and prizes and it's a
lot of family fun, a great way to kick off summer.

Yeah.

You know what, if you're in the military, you know
exactly what a stell beach is because I remember those
on the ship, and it was like it was so cool,
but it still beats. Literally is just a huge barbecue
and you're taking an adia minute step further with a luau.

Right, that's right.
Speaker 3 (01:07):
Yes, So our first couple of years we did hot
dogs and hamburgers, and then the past couple of years
we bumped it up to a pig roast. And you know,
we love having people come aboard the ship after hours
and you know they see it in a different way,
get to experience it on a different way. And we'll
have the flight deck open this year for tours.

Wow. Okay, so how can people get tickets for this?

Go to our website USS Lexington dot com. Tickets are
forty dollars for adult children four to twelve, twenty five dollars.
Children under three are free. And then of course ours
Lexington Museum members they get discounts on our special events,
so for this event they get a five dollars discount.

Also our military members get that five dollars discount as well.

Also, Fourth of July is also just around the corner,
and you guys have a big thing called red White
and boom.

Yes, just what it sounds like, it is a big
party on the flight deck, so we have our guests
come out. At seven o'clock, we open the doors and
it's live music from the Chain Links. We have food
for sale, souvenirs for sale, a cash bar, and then
at nine point thirty we watched the fireworks from the

Wow. And the Chain Links. I know those that band.

They're a great band that you got to make sure

Yes, we have three different escape rooms, the perfect thing
to do with family, friends, work, colleagues. They are three
different experiences, so cool and unique compared to any other
kind of escape room. One is where you're saving the
ship from sinking. Another one is where you're saving the
ship from a bomb. You difuse a bomb, and the

third one is finding got hunters who've disappeared along their
go tuning excursion. And so like a lot of technology,
some really cool actual navy equipment that you engage with,
they're a lot of fun and so that's a special
perk when you come and visit. You definitely want to

go online beforehand though, and schedule that. You can see
the scheduled daily schedule of times when each specific escape
room is open. And then what's really cool is each
one of those experiences is forty three dollars per person.
As an added bonus, you get admission to the ship,
