The 49ers began their second joint practice of the NFL preseason in Las Vegas much like their first week, undermanned. Undeterred, they fielded enough players against the Raiders to see some progress from last week. "49ers Talk" hosts Matt Maiocco and Jennifer Lee Chan break down which players were making the biggest impact in the second week of preseason and discuss two emerging rookies on both sides of the ball already making a case for regular-season minutes. Also, Matt and Jennifer update San Francisco's expansive injury room and share Kyle Shanahan's strategy for getting his starters some live reps throughout the rest of the preseason.
