Speaker 1 (00:04):
I ain't got time way up in the morning, ain't
no where else I'd rather be. You can be from
any barrows where you come and get the tea. You
won't real talk with real people. Know where you need
to go, talking real issue, real something, what else you
need to know? Shouting being all in the wirehouse. But
she can talk to trout. She ain't never left the community,
and so she no where it is. Say, I'm talking

(00:26):
b K finer. She gonna rep into the grave and
I was supporting real So I'm gonna tune in the day.
Well you want now what I call her? Ye? Well yeah, yeah,

(00:47):
day too? Angela. Ain't God for here? What what? Whatout?
Without y'all feeling? Now you good? Day two? How did
I do? You didn't get fired? Okay? They do your headphones? Man,
My headphones are horrible. They don't even my head. They're like, Godfrey,
we have our budget, went down your headphone one day.

(01:08):
Very small. We're a small startup. One way down, yeah,
way down. But shout out supplies. We did that. Actually
this is a full song he did. But that's why
I was like, who is that applies? Right? He did
wold theme song like that? We ever going to play
the whole song. We should played the whole song one day.
It's really nice. He just did it and you came

(01:28):
it gets hard to it was like wan hand, won't
do it again? Looked at me. He was like, who
is this? I said, who is this guy? Rapping so aggressively?
That's for Angela? Ye, I thought you'd have like my
name a. Now I'm more aggressive than that guy. Yeah,

(01:51):
I thought like, like, like, yo, come up with guns?
Can like all right? Talking about for Brooklyn? Yes I am.
And today on day two it's lift service on Tuesday.
So every single Tuesday on Way Up for Angelie we

(02:12):
do lip service. And Amber Rose was on it is
on lip service that comes kame not already right? Yes,
this was out already such a cool person. She's very
cool and she basically is saying she could never have
sex again and be okay with that? Really? Why, I mean,

(02:35):
I think she's she's been through a lot. She's been
yet she said two of her really close friends ended
up sleeping with somebody she was with or something. Well,
you gotta listen to it to hear it all. But
but this is how we are going to start the
show with some positivity. Now, this is a very new show,
so we want to make sure everybody knows what's going on.
So shine a light on him is how we start
the show every single morning. And I did that just

(02:57):
because I want to make sure that we started off
on a high. And a lot of times people do
nice things for you, you don't get the opportunity to
say thank you, or you're like, man, I wish you
could let the world know that somebody just did something
so small that meant a lot to me, that helped
brighten up Monday. And so you guys get to call
in eight hundred two nine to fifty and shine a
light on somebody who did something positive, something good. It

(03:18):
could be somebody you don't know, maybe somebody got out
of the parking spot to give you a spot or
something like that. Who knows what it is, but you
get the chance to shout them out right now on
shine a light on them on way up for Angela
ye eight d turn your lights on y'all spreading love

(03:39):
to those who are doing greatness. Shot, it's time to
shine a light on them. Hey, way up for Angela ye.
I'm Angela ye, and God freeze here. What's happening, yes,
and today we do shine a light on them. That's
when you guys call in and spread love to somebody
who's done something positive. And I want to shine a

(04:00):
light on Do you met him that THEA Mitcham is
my boss up here? I heard yesterday. Oh yes, very nice, right,
And so she's the reason why I way up with
Angela even exists along with some other amazing women behind
the scenes, Julie Taverat, Jennifer lion Gruber, but THEA in particular,
but really hard for me to get my own show.
I was actually trying to get a nighttime show just

(04:23):
to be able to have my own thing. And then
she came to me and said, guess what, you get
a whole own show and you get to leave the show.
So you guys calling shine a light on eight one fifty,
Good morning, who's this morning? This is your boy? Love
me from the guns women CT congratulations. I'm so proud
New Green now. I appreciate that. And guy Free's here

(04:46):
with me co hosted. I appreciate that. To shine a
light on it shot me being the trigger far. I
want to shine a light on my kids and I
want to send a special shine a light on my
kids mother who passed away safety that I don't give
the you know, shows that blessed too. But I know
she's looking down on us, looking down on me and
the kids, and knowing that my kids, raising them help

(05:08):
move me into the man I am. So I just
want to shine a light on the kids and tell
him thank you, all right, thank you so much for
calling us out. Lovey, you know what it is. I'm
here for you, baby congratulator screen, thank you, good money.
Sign a light out of this, David, David, who you
want to sign a light on? I want to shout
out this brother Steven, he created a game for his

(05:31):
daughter for her birthday of mobile app So basically he
was looking for representation for her and he made a
game and it's surprised the family show. The game is
called Summer's Amazing Adventure. Um. He made it for its
first one of the first to feature you know, African
American girl and and and the lead character. And he
put her friends and her family in the games with her.

(05:52):
So I just wanted to shop that. I think that's huge,
that sounds cute, that's really nice, very smart. So it's
called the Summer's Amazing Adventure. You can find them more.
I think they're on i G. But Summer's Amazing Adventure
you downloaded. I think it's on Android right now. But yeah,
we've been playing it. Man, it's it's it reminds you
to Mario Mario vibes. But just and anybody out there,

(06:15):
y'all have a great day. Thank you so much for
doing that. Thank you. That's like a black history moment.
Let's getting the whole game. It blew us out. He
was tired of her being on the tablet. Couldn't see
that's what you're saying. Couldn't see here, you know. So
they were looking at Koper Milan and he was like
all right, And so he disappeared for a little while

(06:35):
and then pop back out with a mobile app for
um and we played. It's a fun game. And he
puts some kids in it, like her cousin or you know,
kids that follow the page. And he updated and put
one in a minute as a character. So it's pretty cool, right,
Thank you so much for calling it, and shine a
light on him. Good morning. Who's this? Heyde angel un
chaps man, Hey jas Man, how you going, girl? I'm good?

(06:59):
You said, how the guy a free, Hay, god Free,
How are you going? Who want to night? I'm proud
of you. I want to shine the light on my hair. Girl.
We've been going through this thing for like two years now.
A Dona's box Jay right in the Bronx. She gets
me together every time and I just love her, dearly.
I just want to try out, all right, listen, so important,

(07:21):
But yes, the Bronx is definitely in the building, all
the calls together. Alright, Godfrey, wasn't that nice? Shine a light? People,
shining a light. That's very nice, you know, waking up
with a nice bright light, you know, and you want
to get a sight out when definitely tomorrow I'm a
shine a light on you. So don't worry, are you?

(07:42):
But well, yeah, of course. But when we come back,
we have yet and we'll be talking about Curdie b.
There's some video where she is addressing Offset and Quevo
coming up next time, Way up for Angela yee. Alright,
it's way up for Angela ye and it's time for
the Yet with me and got Free. Who is my

(08:03):
guest host my amazing guest hosting? All right, So there
were reports that Quevo and Offset got into an altercation
before the takeoff tribute at the Grammy's backstage. Now, Offset
went on social media. It looked like he was addressing this.
He said, what the f looked like fighting my brother
yaw and words is crazy? In words is nuts, It's crazy.

(08:25):
Edwards stands for Nigerian's all right now, Cardie B. In
the meantime, there's a video that has surfaced and it's
these reports of that fight that Offset is saying did
not happen, and you can see she is scolding them
for whatever was happening here here it goes, Okay, that's

(08:51):
a nice scold to ya. That's what's you need somebody
to tell you when you're wrong. I'm telling she's telling
her husband in he's wrong, and she's also telling Quabo
he's wrong. Where was she doing it at since his
backstage at the Gramm? Why? Why are we doing this
at shows? Can we take this outside of a place?

(09:12):
Why doesn't have to be in an event? Yeah, I'm sure.
It's very emotional though between them, their family and attributes
about to happen, and allegedly Offset wanted to come out,
Quabo didn't want them to, so oh man, come on
and the family was feuding before all of this happened,
so emotional times. Well, I hope they do all right.
I hope they work it out, like I said, Yester,

(09:33):
they I hope they just work it out. But I
love that CARDI was there to be like, stop, yeah,
that's good. No, that's good. All right now. Chris Brown
has apologized to Robert Glassberg better that's my boy, roberts
for real, as he should, for his rude and mean
reaction to losing the Grammy to him. Remember, he put
on social media, who the f is Robert Glasper I'm

(09:53):
gonna keep kicking y'all, asked respectfully. I gotta get my
skills up. I'm gonna start playing the harmonica. Then he
put a new level unlocked harmonica Breezy. But then he
posted a message to Robert Glasser, congratulations, my brother. I
would like to apologize if you took offense to my
reaction at the Grammys. You were not the intended target,
and I know I came off really rude and mean.
After doing my research, I actually think you're amazing. The

(10:15):
organization isn't doing us. Blacks are due diligence. You and
I should never be in the same category, two totally
different vibes in genres. So from one black man to another, congratulations,
hope you were able to feed your family for life.
I actually agree with Chris Brown on that one, that
this category categorization should be a little bit different. I agree,
And Chris Brown has always been on that though about

(10:36):
like black artists being treated like because they would be like,
let's give it to Timberlake, let's give it to this
person that person and goes yo. Those guys get everything
from us. Mark and I actually am down with what
Chris Brown is saying they should have put him in
different categories. But it also hooks up Robert Class for
I'm glad you just you just that is the main

(10:58):
thing A lot of people are on social media like, oh,
I went and listened to Rabbit Glasbar I never did
that before. He's amazing. He's the real deal. And he
hangs out and he hangs out with us down in
the West Village. You can see him at the Blue
Note with Toller Quality and all the different artists. It's
he's fantastic. I think Tyler Quality is doing his podcast
live over there too, to Live is there every other week.
He is like you I'm gonna be there next week.

(11:19):
I'm gonna see you later, all right. And Black Panther,
what kinda forever? Has made history? Yes, it is the
most watched Marvel film premiere on Disney Plus globally. So
that movie already growth over eight hundred million dollars worldwide.
So everybody's watching it. And haven't I love that? You know,

(11:40):
because they don't. They didn't think that. And can I
tell you real quick, I don't know how much time
I have, but I met Stanley three times. I was.
I hung out with Stanley, the creator of Marvel. I
hung out with him in his office for three hours.
My friend used to work for Powe Entertainment and he
told me he pointed out a big picture of Wesley
Snipes and he said, you know, godfreed Wesley Snipes, shaved Marvel.

(12:00):
Wesley Snipes in was the reason why Marvel is still
a float. Amazing. And they say black people can't sell
Come on, now, what sets your brother up? Wesley Snipes?
Let's talk about this. White man can't jump a reboot.
That's no, they should not do that. And here's the
trailer boom, I probabish. You'd asked this right here. But
how much cash do you have on here? You're not
ingnough money to come to this guy. I brought like

(12:21):
eighty I was ready. He's almost because I'm like the
pt Anderson of basketball psychological warfare. Who this pt Anderson?
Our greatest living director. Spike Lee is our greatest living director.
Spikely's not even a good Knicks fan. I noticed some mistake.
I was great, All okay. White Man Can't Jump is

(12:45):
one of my favorite comedies. You know you're not messing
with Wesley and Woody. I'm sorry. Well, sin Quai Walls
is in it and Jack Harlow, so he's I just listens,
just do a different kind of comedy. But leave White
Man Catchup alone. I'm just saying it just like it's
just a perfect commence, like we doing Boomerang. Well, you're
gonna watch that when it comes out on Hulu on

(13:05):
May nineteen. I cannot wait to see what you think.
I'm gonna have you come back up here and talk
about it. That is your et when we come back,
it's about last night and I want to talk about
your comedy show and Black History Month on Way Up
with Angela Yee. But you look like people look like you.
And this is interesting also because we're looking at everything

(13:27):
that's happening in Florida with Rohnda Santas the governor there,
he wrote a letter to the college Board rejecting a
new AP course on African American studies. He says that
the class is contrary to Florida law and significantly lacks
educational value. And then he elaborated in a press conference,
he said, this course on black history, what's one of
the lessons about queer theory? Now, who would say that

(13:49):
an important part of black history is queer theory? That
is somebody pushing an agenda on our kids. And so
when you look to see they have stuff on intersectionality,
abolishing prisons, that's a political agenda. So basically, he doesn't
want black history taught in schools, and he has a
lot of different reasons. Why did he come out of
a clan meeting when he did that? And so what
I'm not understanding is I also feel like what he's

(14:11):
trying to do is and you know, they didn't talk
about critical race theory. They talk about African American studies,
But he tries to make it seem like something that
it's not history. It's history an agenda, it's history. He's like,
I just want everybody to know the stats of all
the floor the football players. I just want everybody that's
our black history is the stats of all the think

(14:33):
just football and basketball. That's all we need. That's enough
black history. No, we need black history. It's American history.
You need it to Santos, you'r he's he's just a
big gigantic racist period. That's just old school racism. And
he said the course violates the so called Stop Woke
Act that he signed last year and that criticized the

(14:54):
courses inclusion of work by a number of different scholars.
And then he said that that prohibits teaching multip a
concepts purportedly related to race and identity, none of those things.
Is he talking right? And I think people don't read
deeper into this, then they'll believe it. They'll believe that
these courses say that want to erase color, national origin,

(15:14):
or sex a morally superior that's nothing in any of
these courts. It's because they don't want to hear the
atrocities of what I'm sorry to say this, of what
these of white what whites have done to African Americans.
And the problem is African American history has to deal
with a lot of white atrocity. Sorry, you didn't let
us do a lot of stuff. You didn't let black

(15:35):
people do a lot of things. Try to go to school.
He stopped us from that, try to be free. You
stopped the from that. Reconstruction, Jim Crow, segregation, redlining. Oops,
that's you. Sorry, And so they said the ap African
American Studies course actually has been altered due to conservative
political pressure. It's just old white men not wanting to

(15:56):
hear the truth. And it's Black History Month, guys, and
it's black that's all about history. And please, people, please,
even in Florida, just study on your own. Please, don't
let the schools determine it. Study on your owner's plenty.
You can go on Amazon and get plenty of books
by black authors and learn on your own. That's how
people are doing it now, anyway, Learn on your own. Please,

(16:19):
knowledge of self, self, Go yourself and get the knowledge yourself.
Don't wait on your school, white majority school to teach
you about yourself. That's crazy, all right. So that is
about last night. I'm sorry, but I'm passionate that's how
I talk during just won't everybody to start it themselves.

(16:41):
The main thing is that guy, like I said, you're
able to address some of these serious issues and your
stand up yet in a way where even after the shows,
everybody's like, man, I love the way you did that.
Because we are comedians. You are an artist, and they
are there to laugh. So how do I sneak in
a message and make them laugh? Because if I don't
make and laugh and I'm just preaching, it's provocative. It's provocative,

(17:03):
It's very procative, very very controversial. It's always controversial when
you want to speak up for your pride, like did
you do your I do that, I do that on
like that? All right, Well that is about last night.
Now when we come back, I want to talk to you.
I know you fly a lot, and for everybody who travels, right,
this has happened to I think anybody. Somebody has come

(17:24):
to you and ask you can I switch seats with you?
I'm traveling with this person, my wife, but my friend,
would you mind switching seats? And I want to know
what the etiquette is for that? And have you ever
told somebody no seas with you? I want to hear
what you guys think. Okay, I'm gonna tell you my
rules for switching seats. Um we actually when we come back,
we're gonna have we have it now when we come back.

(17:45):
All right. Here is audio of a TikTok viral moment.
If you're sitting in a seat and someone with like
a family comes up to you and says, like, hey,
will you switch Do you switch her on? Like if
it's like a mom and a dad or like a
mom or like whatever, Like I'm like, she's little kids. Like,
I'm gonna get about my seat tonight. I not only
got asked to give up my window seat so that

(18:05):
I could sit like in a middle seat, but the
family that like asked me to do this was a
mother and her son. Her son had to be a
minimum of seventeen years old, oh eight fifty. What do
you think about that? Way up with angela ye? Yes,
way up with angela ye? And godfreything with you and

(18:29):
we are talking about switching your seat on a plane. Now.
This all came from a passenger story who says that
she refused the switch seats, and I can't blame her
by the way they wanted her to switch to a
middle seat. Here's what she had to say. If you're
sitting in a seat and someone with a family comes
up to you and says, like, hey, will you switch?
Do you switch or not? Like if it's like a
mom and a dad or like a mom or like whatever,

(18:49):
Like I'm like, she's little kids, Like, I'm gonna give
up my seat tonight. I not only got asked to
give up my window seat so that I could sit
like in a middle seat, but the family that like
asked me to do this was a mother and her son.
Her son had to be a minimum of seventeen years old.

(19:10):
Now here's the etiquette. If you asked me right, if
you want me to switch seats with you, it has
to be a comparable seat. That means, if I'm in
a window or aisle, you need to give me a
window or aisle. Don't ask me to be in a
middle seat if I'm not in the middle seat, because
those seats usually cost more. If you're all the way
in the back of the plane, don't ask me to
come all the way to back in the plane while
I'm you know, unless you little kid maybe has to

(19:33):
be like my grandfather is going to poop in his patents,
and I have to be there, you know, can I switch? Okay,
it has to be something like that. Still say no,
I love it. I've seen people say no and I
laughed at you like this. Now I'm gonna be right here.
I I just I just don't want your seat. I
think might have said no one time. And that's because
I really enjoy having a window seat. And then also

(19:55):
you can't ask somebody like, say you pay for more space,
and then you're trying to know, yeah, don't want my
knees to hit the back of the Yeah, yeah people
do that. And sometimes, like I said, it has to
be comparable, has to be a comparable seat, and uh yeah,
it's only fair because you know I don't and then
you feel bad when you say no sometimes. But yeah,

(20:16):
but that let me ask you this, now, what if
somebody wants you to um? What if you get on
the plane and someone's in your seat already and then
they asked you, do you mind go over there? My
seats over there? Do you mind? I'll be like, uh, no,
I do mind. Uh you know, I'm here, so move
because I kind of feel like you should wait, Like
I had. I ever I had a person. What about

(20:37):
when someone moves your your bag from you know, on
had the upper thing. I had a girl like take
my bag and move it over there and be like
I just came through. I was like, um, hello, like
my ba, don't stuff, don't don't and and the whole
time I was staring at her like but you did

(20:58):
saying I didn't say anything. I was ethen but why
don't you say excuse me, that's my bag? I just didn't,
you know, attendant helped. I was just like, well, I
want to see what you guys think about this etiquette
about switching plane seats? Eight is a number? What do
you think? Nita? Good morning? Angela Ye, how are you good?
How are you wonderful? Hey? Gffrey, how are you say?

(21:22):
How are you? Good morning? Wonderful? So this is so funny.
First things, First, congratulations on the news show. Thank you,
thank you. Okay, So I'm not giving up my seat period,
point blank. In the discussion, I pay for my ticket,
I choose my seat. I choose first class nine times
out of ten. If you want to sit next to
your sibling, your spouse, your child, you should have booked together.

(21:44):
And what about this? What if you're in first class
and the other person is also in first class and
it's just a seat right behind you. Oh, then you
will be okay in that seat behind me. What's the problem.
I'm confused. I'm really confused. What's the problem. I chose
to see because I wanted to sit here, not here,

(22:06):
there's not two seats together. Oh, you'll be fine, right,
you'll be fine right behind me. Absolutely, I'm not sitting
in the middle. I'm not sitting at the aisle. I'm
going to choose my window seat and sit where I
pay to sit. And he should have done this. Somebody
offers you a first class seat, Well, let's if it's

(22:29):
an upgrade. I mean, who am I to not take?
And I'm not, but I'm not given I'm not going
to take an up grip, right, you know you get
the freeze drink? You did that. I gave somebody my
first class seat so I could sit with my friend. Friend.
I'll see you when we land. I'll be like, get

(22:51):
to the back. I'm trying to eat it. Your man, right?
What if it's your man is that you're a first
class and then he makes the flight after you, but
he's in coach. You would just see him when you land.
So to be honest with you, if it is my man,
he's gonna be like, honey, take the first class seat.
So I'm like, okay, you sure, baby, you're sure you
no take it? Take it? Okay. Thanks. I didn't really

(23:12):
want to sit with him and coach. I didn't really.
I mean, if I have to, I will bathroom. See
I'm not doing it today, are you here? No? You
a gangster? So thank you for calling, no problem, have
a good day. Like I give up my seat. Like
in first class, all the seats are good, so it's

(23:33):
to be like, can't say no problem as long as
you as long as my seat is dope too, same class.
The only thing I don't like is when they get
up you sit down, you gotta fill their butt warmth.
It's all warm because their booty was there and now
you're sitting on their booty heat. That's gotta put the

(23:55):
blanket or something down. It's like on the subway in
New York. You sit down and someone just gets up.
You're like, I just transferred their booty warmth into my skin.
Ploors or the worst is when you have to actually
hold on to like a pole or something and it's
all warm. I always had to put my sleeve over
that part. I don't like touching. I'm sorry. I licked

(24:17):
the pole just to make sure you got a good grip.
All right, lady, don't worry, worry about it's no big deal.
When you open the bathroom door and the handle's wet,
that's discussing. When you open the bathroom door and you go,
what was that? Who was in here? Do not go
in there, that detective. It's funny though she is not

(24:37):
playing about her seat. She was like and her voice
was so pleasant. Um no, I'm not going to do that.
Stay in your seat. Think your man, I see you
when we laying, because that's foul. Like if you're with
somebody and you're dating them and you have a first
class seat, are you supposed to know you don't have
to give that up. You get your get your mouths

(25:00):
squeeze squeezed right now, get your miles up yo. All right. Well,
when we come back, we have a yet, that's when
we give you all of the dirt that's going on
in Hollywood, and we're gonna talk about Wendy Williams and alimony.
Should she continue paying alimony? Payments will tell you what

(25:45):
industry shade to all the gossip out sent Angela's spilling
that eat all right, it's the way up with Angela. Ye,
and here's where we give you what's going on in
the world of celebrities and gossip with godfree. Yes, I
don't I ain't want to gossip, but let's do it.
Let's do it all right. Well. Wendy Williams, a judge,

(26:05):
has denied her ex husband Kevin Hunter's demands for alimony payments.
He has said that he's broke right now and he
still wanted to get that money. And the judge also
denied Kevin Hunter's request for attorney fees to be paid
by Wendy. They said that his request was not emergent
in order his application to be dismissed without prejudice. So good,

(26:26):
Wendy don't have to pay any of that she has
enough problems already. Good. Yeah, and I feel like she
doesn't even have access to her own money. Yeah yeah, yeah,
I'm glad so from Wendy, I'm glad she doesn't have
to pay that anymore. Yeah. She's also not getting any
income from the Wendy Williams. So she hasn't gotten income
since October and so where is this money going to

(26:46):
come from? She was reportedly making ten million dollars a
year for the Wendy Williams. Shown it's a nice check. Yeah,
so hopefully she I'm glad she didn't pay him anymore.
What is he doing? I'm broke now shut up? And
she is supposed going to be launching up a podcast,
but we don't know what's going to happen with that.
Apparently she's had some real struggles with health issues as

(27:07):
we can see. All right, And speaking of schmany, little
Wayne has found a buyer for his twenty eight million
dollar mansion in Miami. He listed that back in September.
He was asking for five million dollars and then he
gave it a little discount twenty eight million dollars and
that did the trick. And so the deal is close
to getting finalized. He accepted a buyer's offer on February third,

(27:29):
and the sale is still pending, but it looks like
it's going to happen to nice house discount. Give you
a discount this guy because this coount. So I just
took give him a discount. And you said they gave
him a nice award before the Grammys, and he was like,
he doesn't normally get any accolades like he does, and

(27:50):
he's really really good. He's really talented, dude. I mean,
you really look at his work and you go, he's
really really skilled lyricist and the whole nine. He's been
around a long time. He stays out the mix too.
He does stay the mix. And he raised his kids
are awesome too. Yeah, right right right, but he yeah,
I'm really really happy for him. Good for him, and

(28:11):
more money, more money. Kim Kardashian was paid one million
dollars to speak at a Miami hedge fund event. It's
Hedge Fund Week, and so she went ahead. They said
that a lot of people want to go see her talk.
What do I mean she is, yeah, but it's like yeah,

(28:33):
and um, yeahs are important. And you know another thing
that's like really called because I have hedges, like they
cut our hedges. They don't fund him though, So anyway, yeah,
thinks it's fund week. Well I will say this though,
and some people felt like they were too good to

(28:55):
go see her talk. But she does have a lot
of things going on. I see she just launched a
home good line too. Yeah, well she could do all
that after I But the how she got the money
is He's like, really, he doesn't have a whole business.
And I'm not saying she doesn't. I think it's amazing.
She's an entrepreneur. Hedge fun hedgehogs are there? The same

(29:17):
thing is there, hedgehog hedge fund. Hey, get your money
and think and more money. Kyrie Irving, let's talk about
him for a second. Lebron said that he's disappointed that
the Lakers did not end up reuniting Um, that the
Lakers didn't reunite him with his old teammate Kyrie Irving.

(29:37):
And so we have that. Yes, here is Lebron talking
about that as he sat down for an interview with
ESPNS Michael Wilbon. I can't sit here and say I'm
not disappointed not being able to land such a talent
someone that I had great chemistry with and no, I've
got great chemistry with on the floor that can help
you win championships in my in my mind, right in
my eyes. But my focus is shifting now back to

(30:01):
where should be and that's his that's his club now.
And speaking of Kyrie Irving, people are getting to heated
debates over Kyrie now. There was a debate between steveen A.
Smith and Jay Williams when yes and it got personal
during ESPN's first take. I'm just saying how it's interesting
to me. It just carries such a bigger momentum, in

(30:21):
particular with you, j. You know what, Stop telling us
what you find interesting to just tell us what you feel. No,
my job. You say, you say I find it interesting.
You always say that. Say what you're saying. He thinks
you're too preoccupied with Kyrie, too hard on Kyrie? Did
Bridget Bridget carry Irving last week before he demanded the trade?
We were talking foot Paul, how many times have I

(30:42):
mentioned Kybye Harving over the last I don't seem to
go I don't seem to me to want being triggered
right now, I'm always triggered. No, you're not. Oh, yes,
I am, No, you're not. It's explosive. Well, that's that's
Stephen A. Smith. He's like I told you, I know stats. Okay,
I talk dog dog dog. That's just that's what he
gets paid for. Well, and people love it and that

(31:05):
your team. Now, when we come back, we're talking about
John Moran. Okay, Yes, when we come back, we're gonna
talk about John Moran. I don't know if you've heard
this story. It actually could have been under the radar story.
But we'll talk about this red laser on way Up
with Angela. Ye, angel is way up now. Shannon's sharp
actually weighed in on this, yes, and he had some

(31:28):
things to say about John Moran and the fact that
he's making a lot of money and he was on
his show Undisputed, and he said not to put forth
that hard image. Right. I wish y'all would realize that
he's not a stuck jaw, is a really good basketball player.
John did everything he could lift himself and his family
out of this type of environment and to get away
from this, and for some reason he wants to surround

(31:49):
himself with these type of people. Why bro, you not hard,
that's not your life. People that in that life, would
give anything to be in your life. You got two
dollar contract and you want people in the NBA to
thank you hood because you roll with these types of people.
You're putting yourself in a hard way when you don't
have to listen skill, skill. I'm getting tired of these

(32:12):
basketball player. I'm in the NFL for a long time
to guilt and I'm gonna tell you what do you
You're not a thug. You are not a thug. Okay,
you are not a thud. You're making two hundred million
dollars and then all of a sudden you're not gonna
have no money no more. What are you gonna do now?
I've been told these people for a long time. You're
being stupid, stupid skilt. You're being a stupid skilt. I'm
telling I don't know. Just like my grandmother said, if

(32:33):
you frog, you better jump. He always says little things
like you know what if you but he's not lying
when he's the truth. I mean, you're worth a lot
of money. Yes, you are very skilled at what you
don't actually add a Pistons game and he does crazy
feats man on the court. Remember tell you something really nice?
And John Moran did while I was at this game.

(32:53):
So my friend Jasmember and she was there with her son.
Now her son was John Moran for Halloween. Oh now,
dam actually liked the picture and commented on it on
her son's page. He's probably like seven years old. Yeah,
So he gets at the game. He signed a jersey
for him, dope and gave it to him after the game.

(33:14):
So this video of it and everything, you know, and
that was such a I was like, here is the
kids are watching you, the kids. Fantastic basketball player win
a championship first? How about that? Win some championship. Why
don't let your friends ruin you? That a lot of
times this is what I think when you have a
crew of people ruining your reputation, they're jealousy. You like

(33:36):
that his friends should be like protecting him and going,
this is our dude. We want to make sure that's
just corny. That's corny. Did Michael Jordan do that? But
did Kobe do that? Once you be like them? Does
Lebron do that? How about that? See read the room like,
hey guys, I'm trying to win a championship. Hey guys,
could we not put a red dot on people's head?

(33:59):
What are we doing. Why are you bringing that? It's
corny because when the NBA puts his foot down, then
you're gonna be mad when they're keeping you from your money.
Keep playing now. Just to be clear, though, these are
all allegations at this point. So Jamaran did seemingly respond
to this on social media. He held up baseball hat
you know, cap, so basically saying the whole thing is

(34:19):
cap because this is all allegation. Good, but this is
something that like why is it coming up? Though? You
know what I'm saying though, like he's he's too he's
too important of a player for that kind of reputation.
And this is all coming up because the NBA did
do an investigation that involved this conflict and it was reported.
So we don't know, NBA, they will cut your money

(34:41):
when they don't play. They like, we just can't have it. Uh,
we've once they get the okay. One member of the
Pacers group did anonymously tell the Athletic we felt we
were engraved danger and so the NBA looked into the incident.
Like I said, they could not determine whether or not
anyone was threatened the weapon, but like we said, some

(35:02):
individuals were banned. Well, this sport has makes too much
money for that kind of crap. And you know how
they do. Hey, they put you on punishment. It's a rat.
You have to travel right. Everybody around you has to
have it together. Ye Geordie will be like, we're putting
on suits, were dressing properly, and we're gonna look right.
Dion Sanders what he's doing for for Colorado fantastic. Don't

(35:25):
want to let everybody know it's prime Time. You're coming
with confidence and you're gonna be respectful, and you're gonna
be respectful and that's all I want on my team,
or you can't be here. I got my Prime Time
two and it's good. You got it all. We don't
even gotta get anybody up here. Just you know I'm
gonna be everybody that's won't be still listen, this was
a real thank you, congratulations on your show. Well, next up,

(35:48):
we do have under the Radar. That's when we highlight
some under the radar stories that you shouldn't know. So
today let's do something positive. Way up with angela Ye.
Under the Radar is up. Next up where angela Ye
we turn it on. They say truth in the room,
from industry shade to all the gossip. Yes, what's up?

(36:14):
It's way up for angela ye, and it's time for
you because y'all know I gotta update you on what's happening.
And Godfrey's here with me Preday Preday pre day. Ricke.
That's pretty Baby Blue has been released from prison. Remember
he did that p P P loan scam, I said
somebody on social media. I said, somebody on social media

(36:37):
saying one of their biggest regressive They didn't get one
of those loans, but if you're eligible, it had been good.
But he did do four million dollar p p P
loan scam. And he's fresh out now after serving his time.
Here's what he had to say there, y'all maybe cool

(36:59):
fresh on the outside. Now, let me ask you this.
He was in jail. He was sent this to twenty
months in prison, and he turned himself in February. Seven
million dollars. Yeah, and that's just twenty months. I mean,
any time the government gives you a loan, they're saying

(37:20):
you will have to pay that back at some time. Yeah,
don't try well with the p PP loans, you didn't
have to pay everything back if you use them. The
way that you were supposed to, so if it was
for like salaries and certain percentages and all of that,
so the ways around everything, right of course. All right now,
g M A good morning America. You've been seeing all

(37:41):
the scandals with t J. Holmes and Amy Roebock and everything. Well,
they're said to be in talks with a rival network
after ABC let them go for the affair that they
had so they could be headed for News Nation. According
to Radar Online, they're talking to the President who was
sympathetic to their situations. Did I understand because I've cheated? Listen,

(38:02):
I get it. I know I have side checks myself.
If but you gotta work with our network. Everyone here
just going in though. I'm not gonna lie. When you
see all the things that he was doing, you like, whoa,
he wasn't playing yo, he a helread. He's done it
many times. But that's where Chris Cuomo is also, by
the way, after he was fired by CNN, then he
went over there too, so allegedly they're looking at them too. Okay,

(38:26):
all right, now let's talk about Glorrilla. She was so
excited that she met Beyonce. As you can imagine, anybody
that meets I mean that is like people's ultimate have
you met? I saw her in the gym one time,
but she was with some bodyguards, but I saw her.
I was like, not too far from her. It was
an equinox some years ago, and I was like, oh,
there goes Hey I met. I met Solange knows because

(38:49):
we did. We did um on Johnson Family Vacation. I
was a cop that stopped him in Johnson with Cedric
the entertainment. I was a cop that took them to
jail and stuff. So that's how I met her and
and all other stuff. Okay, nice, Well, Glorilla said, I
met Beyonce by my life is complete, and here's what
she posted. Baby, I'm never getting rid of this week.

(39:12):
This week is going into more trophic case. This is
the week I mean Beyonce of the I damn't take
my makeup on. Okay, is there anybody you feel like
that about? If you met them, you wouldn't take your way,
you would never get ready. I'm keeping my weird. I
met Denzl. I met Denzel like two or three times,

(39:32):
and I was like, what I met Samael Jackson met Snipes,
I met Yeah, but Michael Jackson. Would I've seen Michael
Jackson concert, But if I'd have met my older been like, yo,
I'm never taking this this this week golf. Well so
anybody now, though, who's alive that you would be like,
I can't believe I met oh oh wait man, man,

(39:56):
I met a lot, met Morgan Freeman. I did a film.
I've got a lot of everybody who I don't even man, nobody,
I don't anybody that's you're dealing that I don't care about.
All right now, social media is going crazy because it
appears that Megan the Stallion unfollowed Partisan Fontaine, her boyfriend,
and so who knows what can happen? He's still following her. Yeah,

(40:19):
so I don't know if that means anything. Well, I
mean maybe he didn't know. Sometimes you just forget to
unfollow people. I think you just forgot. I don't think
he's thinking about it like a girl. Many Okay, that's it.
And sometimes you get in an argument with somebody and
you unfollow them just after the argument, but the unfollowing
is so petty and trying to follow them back and feel,
how about you just not speak to I unfollowed you.

(40:41):
That's a statement. I want you to feel it when
someone follows you. What if you had a shock every
time someone another unfollowed? Oh, people literally threaten you like that,
going like this, Yeah, I didn't like your joke. Unfollowed you, Like,
just don't follow me. I don't need to announce, like
I'm sorry. How old are we now? Eminem's daughter Haley

(41:03):
is engaged. She's all grown up now. Maybe she was
like a little she's what damn right? Like we knewhere
when she was born. Yeah, she's like twenty seven. She's
like a regular person now. She's announced her engagement to
her boyfriend Evan mc clintock. They've been dating for six years,
and she has her own podcast too. By the way,

(41:23):
just a little shady. Oh got it from her dad,
from her daddy, so congratulationem happy with Yeah, he posted, um,
I think that you know. He talked about it on
Half My Daughter. I don't like what you're doing. Yeah. Now,
he talked about it on Mike Tyson's PODCASTA My Daughter
a knocking. You can't be good freestyle, right, that's not bad.

(41:47):
I got a little Eminem me because I love my daughter.
Get first. That is your feature in Godfrey A k
a eminem when we come back. It is Black History
Month and we have to honest and pe go on
way up at Angela. Here we go, Angela. He is
way up with Angela. He is back to set off

(42:08):
your work day music one five point one name cheese,
don't didn't like the earl? I say, it's day one.
We value every client and partner because relationships matter. That
is the core principle of our business. So they have

(42:30):
a multi billion dollar portfolio with commercial and residential transactions,
and I think that's amazing. They've streamlined the title insurance
process for projects of any size with their experience in
public private partnerships. Nice like that. We need to learn
about the like. I would call it an obscure Black
History moment because well they always name the same ones,

(42:50):
of course, Martin Luther King, so journal Truth, Harry A. Tubman,
Mary mclaudet. We need the other ones, the recent ones,
We need things that people don't hear of. They always
have the basic ones, and we want to celebrate that
because if anybody needs to uh talk to a title
insurance company about national standards. They recently closed over two
billion dollars in transactions. Yeah behind them, Yes, Godfrey, Who

(43:15):
do you want to talk about? I love black inventors.
I just that's my favorite. And I have one James West.
He's an American inventor, African American, James Edward Macio West,
inventor and acoustitician. He holds over two hundred and fifty
foreign and U S. Patents for the production and design
of microphones and techniques for creating polymer foil electric sophone.

(43:40):
Right now, all the microphones you've used in this country,
in the world, it's this man that created. He's ninety
one years old, still living. Went to Temple University in
Hampton University, respect yeah man, and he had he won
the Benjamin Franklin Medal in Electrical Engineering. So this man
is very important to know who this man is, James West.

(44:01):
It's like when I say, yesterday, Gladys West, something about
the West Gladdest West. Yeah, yeah, so yeah, he pretty
much your microphones that you speak in, you give credit
to this man. James Edward Maco West years old, African American.
This is what I'm talking about. And also a book
that I think you know, it's been out for a

(44:22):
couple of years, but The Color of Law, of Law
written by Richard Rothstein. Is that person black. No, he's
not a jewish Man, a white jewish Man, which is
great because I like it when I see whites that
are down with real history. That's very important. It's very important.
You don't always get that. You've been sitting here going

(44:43):
through this book. I could tell you've read it several times.
It's the color of Law. Color of Law has to
do a forgotten history of how our government segregated America.
So the reason why black people are still in ghettos,
it was always planned for us to live in ghettos,
to be red line, to not be able to own
any property. How why when they say you gotta work
and um, you know, pull up your boot stress. But

(45:03):
they purposely after World War Two especially made sure that
black soldiers didn't get housing as well as white soldiers,
even know they sacrificed themselves. If you see highways run
through ghettos, um trade train, um locomotive, you know, tracks
running through to separate black neighborhoods. They blocked off black neighborhoods.
And one of the first cities that started redlining with
San Francisco. I couldn't believe in San Francisco, so it's expensive.

(45:26):
And I always hear about Chicago and how the system
where you're from in Chicago, how they the system force
black Chicagoans to live separately from white ones and then
Latino Chicagoans as well. Yes, very The most segregated city
is Chicago, by the way, which which is funny because
it was discovered by a black Haitian man named John

(45:46):
Baptiste pond Sable. He discovered Chicago a black man, which
is the most segregated city, and he sold it for
like five dollars like a crackhead. See that's the problem
with us. How much you want, you'll see the I'm
gonna take five out. They said that approximately white people
would need to move to another neighborhood to make white
Chicagoans and Black Chicagoans evenly distributed across the city. Yeah,

(46:11):
white flight, you remember the it was white flight they
called it. Whenever black people would move come and move in,
especially with the migration of black folks in the forties,
that white people would take off into the suburbs. And
then the reverse is happening now and they not only
want the city back, they all want the cities back now.
And let make the black people live in the suburbs.
Chicago is one of the most segregated cities for Latino residents.

(46:32):
And it's six actually Chicago six. Now yeah, it was
not number one anymore. Well that's good, Okay, So New
York's on the list, l A, Philly, Yeah, New York
as well. Yeah. It was like, that's how segregated Chicago
would be. You would be like twenty minutes out of
your neighborhood getting chased out by Italians. They'd be like, yo,
get out of the neighborhood. It was weird to see

(46:52):
Italians chasing you with Michael Jordan's jerseys on. That was
we're weird, you know, like, but you Jordan on again,
he's black. They would literally separate George to shake it people.
But Jordan is different. Right, he's on TV. Did you

(47:13):
watch you people? Since you just say no, I didn't
see you people, I see you people, Well there you go.
It is black history. So every single day we're talking
about different things that have to do with us. Yes,
it's black people, yes, all right, And coming up next
we are going to do lip service. So on way
Up with Angela. Every single Tuesday we highlight lip service

don't know they're sat in the front, Like, well, there
you go. Don't sit in the front there it is.
Maybe they should call ask you today to number call
us up if you need advice. Me and Godfrey are
here to help you out. Today On Way Up with
Angela Ye, I'm good from h D one, New York

(55:47):
I heart radio station. What's up this lip service? I'm
Angela Yee, I'm g G Maguire, I'm Stephanie Santiago, I'm
Laura Mora, Oh, and I'm Amber is a very well
you have a virgin to lip service. We kind of
popped your cherry, yes letter, think about it. My first interview. Ever,
It's funny because I didn't know if she would remember that.

(56:08):
But back when I was on Serious Amber Rose was
on and this was like, I was like, well, what
do people She's like, I'm just the ballheaded in the videos. Girl.
That was crazy. I was so nervous. I forget who
like booked that for me. But he just told me
what to say because I just I was just young.
I didn't I had no idea what to say in

(56:28):
the interview. And look at us now, crazy, where how
far we've come? So let's get into it. But we
know you have the tattoos of your son's on on
you on your face. Do you have anybody else tattooed
on you? Any guys? I have whizzes face on me. Husband. Yeah,
he said you're his favorite X, like the best X. Yeah.

(56:49):
He said that you guys have a great co parenting
and you're like one of his best friends. Yeah, we are.
That's very close. It didn't start off like that though,
So you could teach a class on co parenting. Yeah.
And I think when we got divorced we separated, we
were just really young and immature, but we knew we
were like obsessed with each other. We just had family

(57:09):
members in our business. We had the Internet making it
difficult being in the business, separate schedules. Then I had Sebastian.
It was just a lot of you know. So I
think that as we got older, we realized that we
just loved each other so much, but we just got
married at the wrong time. So that's why we're happy

(57:30):
that we can be like best friends. And um, I
just had Thanksgiving over there with him and Bash and
even my little son loves him. Um, that's not even
his baby, and he loves with So that's dope because
people hope because yeah, like when it was bad at first,
because there's a lot of people out there that can't

(57:51):
even imagine themselves in this space of where they can
successfully co parent and actually like each other as human beings.
So when it was bad, like did y'all not communicate
at all? Was it? It was only bad because other
people made it bad. It wasn't us, you know what
I mean, Like it was I want to say specifically,
but it was family members that made it very difficult

(58:14):
for us, and that caused like a rift in our relationship.
But once that was out the way and we got
older and we were like, Yo, this is us, this
is our relationship. We have a kid together, we still
love each other, we were able to co parent. Okay,
what are the things you would say you learn about
relationships earlier from the things that didn't work out. I

(58:34):
think that I definitely see red flags way earlier now.
I didn't see red flags before at all. I would
just always like make excuses for men that were really
to me and very toxic and abusive. But I think now,
because I went through that, I can see things clearly
moving forward. And just if I talk on the phone

(58:55):
with a guy now and he's just is one thing
that's a red flag. I'm what do you have thought?
So I'm married now, I'll probably never get married again.
I'm okay with that. I've never been there. No, don't
be sad. I'm fine, Like, I don't not anything that
I look forward to, So I'm happy. I don't really

(59:17):
want to share my life with anyone. I don't want
to share my bed, I don't want to share my house.
I don't want to share my time. I don't want
to feel obligated to say I just finished, you know,
lift service. You know, I'm going back to the hotel now, like,
I don't want to check in with nobody. I'm good.
I got my own money, my own kids, my own house.
I don't need nobody for nothing. If somebody comes in

(59:39):
my life and they make my life better, maybe, but
I can't see that in the near future. I agree
with that though, because I have no pressure on myself
to get married. I waited this long I could. I
feel like I could be with somebody forever and I
have to get married, and I had no problem with that. Yeah.
I mean, even if you think about a prenup, you're
essentially getting divorced before you get married. Do you have

(01:00:03):
to think about like, Okay, how much do I get
or what is this going to be like? Or who
gets the house or who gets this house or who
gets It's just like, why do I have to talk
about that before I get married? I just want to
be happy, do you like? For I got to put
his finger and you're you're having sex. It's not my
favorite things. It's not money. It kind of like it's

(01:00:25):
like what you why are you looking? Not all the time,
but you know when it's you know the time for
it can be enjoyable. I mean, people would be really
described traditional. I am like, I don't like I had
not just had. I had one threesome when I was

(01:00:48):
like thirty two. Really yeah, it was terrible. I was like,
I'll never do that again. Terrible, just very like mechanical.
It was just too much going on, taking the condom off,
put a new condom onto, back and forth. It was
just not I mean, they were like my friends, so

(01:01:08):
I didn't feel like, I didn't feel scared or anything,
but it was just a terrible experience. I'm just not
into that. And they're like a traditional walk from that one. Yeah,
I didn't totally kidding. I didn't make sweatwalk for that reason.
I made sloatwalk against like derogatory labels. I was totally
playing with you. Yeah, it's just it's just never been

(01:01:30):
my thing and people think like I have the orgies
all day. Right, I've never had a threesome and my
man has never had a three ceme I had. I
let him know he never will because I'm not doing well.
I wouldn't much rather have a threesome with two guys
instead of a girl. She ruined everything. Yeah it was girls, wait,
but it was I thought it was like taking a

(01:01:51):
condom off and on, like, what did she do that
was so bad? Um, when you go and you lay
down with somebody, you're gonna make sure your under arms
are fresh, everything is very clean, you know. And it
just was not. Oh it wasn't like O G. But
it was where it was supposed to be and it

(01:02:13):
just was just you two guys. It would have been
Backuld you ever do that? Probably not? Now I don't.
I don't. I wouldn't trust anybody enough to do that.
What do you mean by trust? I don't trust them
with my body, with my sexual health, with being around
them in an intimate setting. I just have a trauma issues,

(01:02:33):
Like I wouldn't trust two guys in a room like
that together. No, what about okay, so what about a
relationship with a woman? Is that something that you would
entertain more would Yeah? But again, I just don't want
a relationship. I want to be selfish. I've been in
relationships forever like I want to be selfish, and but
you've been through a lot of I feel like girl,

(01:02:56):
that's what it feels like, just hip of the iceberg.
Y'all have no idea. But because we only know what
we know publicly, we have no idea. What else you've
gone through. Yeah, it's pretty terrible. But if I was
to be in a relationship, I would be in a
relationship with a girl asapp Yeah, I'm just tired, like
I don't want to cater to no man at all.
And I'm damned you're not sucking what you don't? I

(01:03:19):
thought you said. I mean everybody here enjoys it, except
I guess this couch because lord don't really like it either.
It's that that I have kids now, like my life
is different. I kiss my children. They always want to
kiss their mama. I'm not going around sucking. I'm just
not like I if I'm again in a committed relationship,

(01:03:42):
which I don't think would happen because I don't trust
anybody enough with my sexual health to raise my kids
and I just don't want that. You think that also,
and this sucks, right, But in the industry that we're in,
like these guys that I have too much access to
be because you know, no, I have to much access
like anybody I want. It's if you're a good person

(01:04:03):
or not. I can scroll through my phone and whoever
I want in New York tonight. You're either a good
person and you have compassion and you say what you
mean or you don't. I don't give a guy, girl.
We're all human beings. If you're a good person, you're
not going to hurt people. And when you hurt people,
you just don't give you think you've ever hurt anybody though? No,

(01:04:23):
really never. I don't hurt people. I don't do a
vengeful things. People have hurt me a million times. You
don't see me on the internet, you know, going off
and being reckless and yelling and scream. We definitely don't
see that. I will give you that, and no thank you.
I don't put out no business that I've been through.
I just suck it up like a g and I

(01:04:45):
raised my kids. This is a lift service way up

edition time. Every single Tuesday, we have some highlights of

(01:07:19):
lip Service and today Amber roses On check it out. Now.
Let me ask you this when it comes to um
sexual freedom, because I'm a big believer that women should
be able to do whatever they want to do right
as long as you do it safely, because that is important.
We encourage that. And I love the fact that you
said you get tested anytime you have sex with somebody.
But is there any limits? Because I also feel like
I have limits to certain things that like you shouldn't

(01:07:41):
but nobody else's man, nobody's you know, in a committed
relationship and whatever. So what do you think are limits
to that type of sexual freedom? Personally, I would I
would never date a man in a relationship. I would
never date a man with a baby on the way,
I would never date a married man. I would never
date a man that my friend date it, okay, sex with.

(01:08:01):
I probably wouldn't date somebody that even if if it
was an associate that I was around several different occasions
and I was there with her and her man and
then they broke up. I feel like that's still also weird. Yeah,
I feel like that's also where I'm like a real extremist,
like loyal. I don't get too many people out here

(01:08:23):
for us to be somebody been around you know, Yeah,
I don't. I don't really do like that. So alright,
fair enough, so hard and being in the industry, that's
why it's so hard to have girlfriends and um and
be normal because it's not a lot to pick from.
So you end up dating the same guys and hating

(01:08:45):
another female for no reason over I didn't even care
about you. I would never have you ever had somebody
man like ye, there are a couple of years ago. Really,
so you said a couple of years ago one of
your friends a guy you had been some of my friends.
Actually that's you have no idea, Like it has really

(01:09:10):
been a mental health journey for me to not stab
people that would break my heart more than a guy.
It would be like my friend doing that to me.
I had to become reclusive for a minute. And that's
why I haven't really been posting on Instagram or like,
you know, being out and doing my thing, because I

(01:09:32):
really had to work on myself because I was so
angry that that had happened to me. How did you
work on yourself? Like? What did you do? Did you?
I read a lot a lot of therapy, um understanding
that things were not my fault, understanding that people have

(01:09:52):
severe personality disorders. I can't fix people. There was nothing
I could have done differently, you know, things like that.
So you know, I feel like I'm in a better
place now, but it's still it's still a journey to
like not have anger for things that I like, completely
did not deserve at all. I think for a long time,

(01:10:14):
I would just sit and be like, why why would
they do that to me? After I've done all these
amazing nice things for them, just out of the kindness
of my heart. Why? And you get so angry that, like,
and even in therapy, I mean, and I hope that
people that are watching this can relate, because I talked
to a couple of other people. You really feel like

(01:10:34):
you are capable of killing someone and going to get
a snow cone and just not thinking about it twice.
You know, it's the thought is why you need therapy.
Obviously you act on it, then that's a whole different jail.
Jail you don't want to do that. But the thought,

(01:10:54):
if you can have that thought as a rational, logical,
good person, there's something wrong, like you've been pushed to
your limits and so yeah, so for you moving forward,
like what are you gonna do? You know what I'm
saying as far as friendships, because I think it's really
hard to be in this world without having people who
you can I know you said that you do have,

(01:11:16):
you know, a couple of people, but even like forming
because I feel like later in life, I have friends
that I've had for a really long time, but I've
forged more intentional friendships later in my life with people
that are like outside of you know, you know, maybe
people that I have things in common with, maybe goals
of far as far as like, you know, I have

(01:11:36):
my friends who I'm like buying real estate with and
property and doing things like that and having those types
of conversations and work situations, and then we have those
common things. But it's not the same as what it
used to be. When you know, I don't. I can't
even explain it, but no, I get it. I mean
I have friends since uh sixth grade. There's three girls.
We've been friends for twenty seven years. It was actually

(01:11:58):
the new girls and within the last couple of years
were the ones that, like I cared about it brought
into my life and they and they did that to me.
But also the person that they did it with at
the time that they did it with was really and
so you think it was intentional or oh yeah, eating
it's jealousy. I think it was just not given at

(01:12:22):
a very vulnerable time in my life. Yeah, well, I'm
sorry that happened to you. Yeah, and so good. All right.
Well that was lip Service featuring Amber Rose. Every Tuesday
you get to check us out on lip service. And
right now we got Asking eight fifty. If you need
advice from me and from God for you, we're here
to help with me and we are helping people out

(01:12:56):
to ask yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, let's help him
out saying I like advice too. I got different advice,
but I like helping people. Man, That's what I like. Man.
You ship man, over Man Man. Nobody could out Spider
Man me. That's real talk. He's a spider Man of advice.
And if you want advice and a size and number

(01:13:19):
once again, that is eight hundred nine to fifty. Let's
get right into it. What's your question? Hi? So my
question is recently, I just see my man sin my
best friend story back, like look a little flirty. It
was looking a little suspicious. And my question is should
I bring it up to him or should I just

(01:13:41):
let it play out and try to tell my best
friend something else, like mixed the story up and tell
her that it was coming from a difference, like you know,
should I tell her like? Oh he would Texas Like,
I don't know what you saw your man with your
best friend in the story? So they posted something together
or you saw some comment that he left. No, he
actually spent her story back to her. She was wearing

(01:14:04):
something provocative. He sent the story back to her. It
looked at a little flirty. We all hang out, we
all get along, now I've seen. I went on his phone,
but I told him I was, you know, thinking a
pictures like that, but I want on Instagram. I was
being a little sneaky because I just look curious, and
I got hurt when I ended up looking. Now here's

(01:14:26):
the thing. You went through his phone, right, But what
made you go through his phone? You thought something already.
I was just yeah, like, I was just curious. I
promised you I was just curious. It wasn't anything like,
oh he's seated. I'm just like, let me let me see,
because it's something about him you don't trust. If you're
doing that, it has to be and you saw something

(01:14:49):
that you did not like now in your heart because
you're making excuses. Do you know what it is? I
know what it is, so you don't want to face that.
So now you haven't found something because you went looking
for it. You know what it is. The question is
what do you do with that information? Now? Yes? Because
just like this could really crumble everything, and you don't

(01:15:10):
want to admit to him that you went through his phone.
And I don't want to tell my best friend girl
like because he left the more seam but he never
told me nothing stuff too, best friend, I have no
best friend. No man, you should ask your best friends.

(01:15:30):
Did my boyfriend ever send something to you? Just keep
investigating and keep asking questions. Just do that. Hey, I
think you gotta keep investigating because you're gonna do that
and just keep asking questions. And this is gonna this
hurts too much because I can't even imagine being around

(01:15:51):
them and trying to act. This is going to change
the relationship. No matter what, I'm gonna be like, I
can't act normal. I'm gonna be like watching their moves
and they're together, like I'm going to be looking at
if you know what I mean. But maybe we just
need one more out and together. Maybe I could just
keep that. Maybe I'm missing something because I never thought anything.
You know, I never thought anything. Listen, ask your friends, Hey,

(01:16:17):
did my man never said something to you? And see
if she tells you the truth? If she lies to you,
that's really suspicious. Alright, you're right, honestly she said anything
to him? And then you yeah, because you don't know
that either, and you need to ask you a man,
did you DM my best friend? And just see happy
for react to that, because maybe it will be if
they're honest, be like, Okay, she had this on I

(01:16:39):
sent a message. Everybody was kung fool. But I don't
see how you could look for that information and then
hold it. Yeah, I hate that exactly. All right, Oh
my god. All right, so I'm gonna just ask him
why not why it is? If anybody should be honest,

(01:17:02):
it could be you. Okay, you ain't gotta play the
games with them, exactly, go go gadget. Alright, that is
asking again. That phone number is eight h fact call
us up right now and we can help you on
way up for Angela ye, because I was actually just
online looking like, let me get myself. When I tell

(01:17:25):
you the flavors that he has, you're gonna love it.
I gotta show you about this. But anyway, this was
day two, like I said, and you guys can actually
call in and do last week. I want to get
everybody programmed to do this, but we've got to make
sure the phone lines actually work for people to leave
voice messages. But I'm gonna keep on saying it because
this is a brand new show. It's day to The
