They literally put a needle in the numbed it up
and then like cut it off okay, and then sold
it up.
Speaker 1 (00:58):
Wow. It was so smart.
Speaker 3 (01:00):
And I apologize for saying that it was nothing that
I could take care of it.
Speaker 1 (01:04):
You know, you told me in Brooklyn job house other
night that you can do it. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (01:08):
I was like, what that thing doctor Piple pop up
here exactly?
Speaker 1 (01:13):
You know what I'm mad that I didn't do. I
didn't have them film it. I should have. I should
have them film it. On the table.
Speaker 5 (01:19):
I watched it.
Speaker 1 (01:19):
I watched.
Speaker 4 (01:23):
I watched Doctor Purple Pop all the time. So I
was like, I'm like, man, maybe I should have told
him a film.
Speaker 3 (01:28):
Why am I obsessed with watching nasty stuff like that?
It is so disgusting, And the more disgusting, the more
fatuated I am.
Speaker 4 (01:37):
I even watched them. You ever seen them cleaning ears?
You ever seen take that machine?
Speaker 1 (01:41):
It's so disgusting. Crazy.
Speaker 3 (01:43):
I had to take my grandfather to the doctor Ones
because he said he couldn't hear anything, And so I
took him and he had a dried up ball of
wax it was, and then it was hard to pull
it out because it was like stuck to the hairs.
Speaker 1 (01:55):
And the hair so it hurt.
Speaker 3 (01:56):
Yeah, Fortunately he could hear after that, of course. All right,
well let's that's how we're starting the show today. Shine
a light on him. Maybe you want to shine a
light on the doctor.
Speaker 1 (02:04):
Shine a light on the doctor.
Speaker 3 (02:06):
Anyway, it was concerned Navy, who runs the board. He
kept being like, how is Maine no a seargery? You say, okay?
I was like, what is a little pimple? But eight
hundred two nine two fifty one fifty is a number.
Let us know who you want to shine a light on.
Let's start it off on the right note, on some
positivity on a Friday. It's way up with Angela yet

Time to shine a light on Him's anybody you wanted
to shine a light on?
Speaker 1 (02:48):
Mano? The doctor who cut off.
Speaker 3 (02:49):
My your sister, Okay, shine a light on that guy.
Speaker 1 (02:53):
All right.
Speaker 3 (02:53):
You're not gonna shout out you don't remember his name?
Speaker 1 (02:55):
Huh, whoever? You're wrong?
Speaker 3 (03:00):
All right, I love it. Well, I want to shine
a light on somebody. Jessica Sanchez and I was talking
about this deal that I did to buy this building
in Detroit, and she's actually the person that made sure
that the whole loan went through. There's a construction loan
aspect of this, right because once we acquired the building,
which we did earlier, this week. Now we have to
do construction, and she's the person that helped us get
(03:21):
the general contractor the architect, the insurance, all the things
that are necessary. Now that now that we have to
get to work on rehabbing, it's cosmetic. It's not like
a folk gut rehab. The electric spine plumbing is fine,
but now we have to do some cosmetic things.
Speaker 1 (03:36):
Nice. So thank you Jess.
Speaker 3 (03:37):
It was a lot of work and she definitely kept
everything in order.
Speaker 1 (03:39):
We got yes.
Speaker 3 (03:41):
All right, Now, who do you want to shine a
light on? Eight hundred ninety random?
Speaker 1 (03:45):
What's up?
Speaker 7 (03:46):
Hey you?
Speaker 1 (03:47):
Good morning? Who do you want to shine a light on?
Speaker 8 (03:51):
So?
Speaker 9 (03:51):
I want to shine a light on a company called
Postal Habitat for Humanity.
Speaker 5 (03:57):
So basically what they do is they are impos of
all volunteers. They help veterans restore their home. They help
people in need of home become first time homeowners.
Speaker 1 (04:09):
Oh nice, I love that.
Speaker 5 (04:10):
So it's amazing. Actually, you just have to apply. You
have to have a need for the home. And I'm
blessed because I applied.
Speaker 9 (04:18):
I have two small children. My son is one, my
daughter is five, and we are breaking ground on my
home today.
Speaker 1 (04:26):
Wow, that's amazing. Congratulations.
Speaker 3 (04:28):
I love to hear that that you found out about
this program and they actually helped you.
Speaker 1 (04:33):
That's it. That's dope.
Speaker 5 (04:34):
They didn't and it's amazing because it's in every community.
Speaker 9 (04:38):
It's not even in my own community. I live in Neptune,
New Jersey, but I have a friend that was a proof.
Speaker 5 (04:44):
She lives in Trenton, So just look it up. I
want everybody to.
Speaker 9 (04:48):
Know, like you probably don't even know about the things
you know, but you always say is like.
Speaker 5 (04:53):
Now, it's called Habitat for Humanity.
Speaker 3 (04:56):
Okay, yeah, Habitat for Humanity. I think my mom did
some volunteer work with them before for Okay, good well,
thank you so much and shout out to Habitat for
Humanity and congratulations that's big.
Speaker 8 (05:08):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (05:09):
Yeah, I'm so happy my mom.
Speaker 9 (05:11):
We've never lived in a home, you know, We've always
had apartment. So now I'm about to happen to be
that and what a backyard and I'm blacked.
Speaker 3 (05:20):
Okay, all right, Yeah, that's a very legitimate organization. I
feel like they do stuff internet like all around the
world globally.
Speaker 1 (05:26):
But that's dope. Habitat for Humanity.
Speaker 3 (05:28):
All right, thank you, you're welcome tied from Philly.
Speaker 1 (05:31):
Who do you want to shine a light on?
Speaker 10 (05:33):
I want to shine light on my brother, Tremaine Hicks.
He was a generated from prison three years ago. When
he came home, he started a nonprofit organization called Step Up.
Speaker 3 (05:43):
Okay, step Up to Maine Hicks. You know what, we
actually have a gift for you to give to him.
How about would you like to give him some Born
in Roma by Valentino, some.
Speaker 10 (05:51):
Cologne New Yeah, he would like that.
Speaker 3 (05:54):
Yeah, and it smells really good. But that's really dope,
you know. Congratulations to him. Now, tell us more about him.
Speaker 10 (06:00):
He was convicted of what time he didn't do about
twenty years ago. He's been fighting. He claimed his innocence
the whole time. It took them twenty years. The review's key.
He got out in December twenty He got out December
sixteenth or twenty twenty, and he started he started stepping
up actually in jail, but it didn't become official soul.
Speaker 2 (06:20):
He came home from jail.
Speaker 1 (06:21):
That's crazy.
Speaker 3 (06:22):
That time you can't ever get back, and you always
knew your brother was innocent, always all right. Well, thank
you and shout out to Timaye Higgs. Thank you for
calling us. Thank you, well, that was shine a light
on him. And thank you to Boring and Rama by
Valentino available at Macy's for always coming through and making
sure that I smell good and then you smell good
because we've been giving some away. Now when we come back,
we have yet and let's talk about Boosie versus t OUT.
(06:45):
Here's what Boosy had to say about their conversation after
their beef they managed to squash it. We'll tell you
what happened on way up with Angela.
Speaker 6 (06:52):
Ye sure, she's about to blow the lid of off
this spot.
Speaker 1 (06:55):
Let's get it.
Speaker 6 (06:55):
Oh yeah, Angelus feilding at yee te come and get.
Speaker 1 (06:58):
To see here.
Speaker 3 (06:59):
Yes, it's way but Angela yee. I'm Angela yee. And
Mano's here.
Speaker 1 (07:02):
With the T. Yes, I'm back Mana with the ye T.
All right, now, let's talk about Boozy.
Speaker 3 (07:08):
He's gone through for yet another Vlad TV interview, you
know that's his thing, and he actually talked about how
he and t I managed to squash their beef. Now,
it all started with this statement from t I.
Speaker 4 (07:20):
My lawyer said, well, you know I can make everything
go away if it was Trammels and.
Speaker 1 (07:26):
I had a talk too. After he had passed.
Speaker 4 (07:28):
I had a talk with him, say, I take all
the charges you got because I'd be damn if they
gonna come up the extra dight me from here.
Speaker 3 (07:36):
All right, So that all comes from him saying that
he told on his cousin who had passed.
Speaker 1 (07:40):
Right. Now, what do you think about that? Mano? Was
he joking?
Speaker 4 (07:47):
I don't know the context, so he didn't have a.
Speaker 3 (07:51):
Conversation with his cousin after he passed its Basically, I took.
Speaker 1 (07:54):
It right, So I feel like he was joking.
Speaker 3 (07:56):
Okay, Well, here's what Boozy had to say, because they
were supposed to have a lab.
Speaker 1 (08:00):
Album right with the TI situation. If he did that,
you are threat I'm like, why do say that when
we got an come out? Okay? So is that album
coming out?
Speaker 7 (08:10):
No?
Speaker 3 (08:10):
It ruined everything and Tee I did show some paperwork
afterwards showing that he did not snitch. It was a
photo of court documents and said that he was just,
you know, embellishing everything. So now Boosie said that they
did have a conversation. There was that picture that circulated
the airport.
Speaker 11 (08:27):
Right, No, I gave him apology after we kept going
back and forth, you know, like, you know, the things
he was doing for me in my life at the time,
I kind of felt bad he was doing some real
helping me in.
Speaker 1 (08:41):
A lot of ways.
Speaker 11 (08:43):
But uh, I still told him I stand on what
I stand on, and when he explained it to me, Uh,
we got by it.
Speaker 2 (08:50):
Man.
Speaker 1 (08:51):
It was like I like I said, like you.
Speaker 11 (08:53):
Said, it was a fulm embellishment, bro, like just seeing
what the world's gonna say.
Speaker 1 (08:57):
So you know, we got by. You know, like Boss
is supposed to give back. Yeah, that's good, That's what
I mean.
Speaker 3 (09:04):
At the end of the day, friends, isn't it nice
when you squashed beef? Yes, okay, I love yeah, squashed beef.
What do you think was the best beef you ever squashed?
But you felt like, I'm happy that we put this.
Speaker 4 (09:15):
Boss, my all my industry beef, all of them, all
of them.
Speaker 3 (09:22):
Was it one in particular that you were like, Man,
I can't believe I even was beefing.
Speaker 4 (09:26):
There, of course, because I mean a lot of times
you look at things nothing done in hindsight and you
be like, man, that wasn't really about nothing.
Speaker 3 (09:32):
Yeah, Yeah, it's nice when you say that especially, they
had a collab album, right, you know, so you know
we're really tight.
Speaker 1 (09:38):
I mean, men could always come together and get past
whatever the hump is.
Speaker 3 (09:42):
So it's so good all right now, Tiger Woods and
justin Timberlakes, since we're talking about teaming up, they're teaming up.
They're building a six hundred acre town in Florida. Can
you believe that? So it's a it's called the Wellington.
It's gonna have single family homes, condos, stores, and a
hotel near Palm Beach. And they're also folkocusing on the
equestrian spirit and so that should be really I mean
(10:04):
imagine that. Yes, And justin Temperlate.
Speaker 1 (10:08):
Oh, that's an odd couple there.
Speaker 3 (10:10):
Now they're saying that it's usually very busy here during
the winter months when equestrian and polo competitions are held
throughout the town, and finance firms and their employees moved
to the area during the pandemic are looking to make
it their main base. But they're looking for more than
what's currently available. So they saw an opportunity and they said,
let's just build this area up. All right now, Jonathan Majors,
(10:31):
his alleged victim, has been granted a temporary order of
protection ahead of that court date that's going to be happening.
Speaker 1 (10:37):
The court date is May ninth.
Speaker 3 (10:39):
The actor is facing charges of assault and harassment, and
the judge did grant a full temporary order of protection
that means that they cannot have any direct or third
party contact. That remains in effect until the next court date.
What you thinking about that? I think we're going to
find out more as this court date happens. You know,
a lot of people are saying and he put out
those text messages and footy footage thinking that was going
(11:01):
to be helpful, but if anything, that did not prove innocence.
Speaker 1 (11:05):
That but it didn't prove that right. But they were
saying that her hand was broke.
Speaker 3 (11:10):
I mean think since she had minor injuries to her
head and her neck and when she went to the doc,
she actually did go to the doctor. I can't say
what did or didn't happen, but that is that doesn't
mean that you're not a victim. A lot of times,
and we've seen this happen, people try to go about
their life as normal and act like something didn't happen,
and even tried to cover for the person so we
(11:31):
can't say I don't know, but clearly there's a lot
more to this story, all right, and that is your
Yet when we come back, we have about last night
and Mano and I did something last night. Yeah, in
conjunction with YouTube. Yeah, in conjunction with YouTube. So we'll
talk about it. It's way up with Angela Yee.
Speaker 6 (11:50):
So about last night last night, last night.
Speaker 1 (11:54):
I went down.
Speaker 3 (11:56):
Yes, it's way up with Angela Yee. I'm Angela Yee
and Man and we mean that when me say new Man.
Speaker 2 (12:01):
No.
Speaker 3 (12:01):
Now you know it's a Friday, and that means tell
us a secret is coming up shortly.
Speaker 1 (12:05):
That's why Man's really here. And listen on Friday, I
need secrets. Why you say that?
Speaker 4 (12:12):
You said you know I need it like I actually
want them to really call in and really give us some.
It's Friday, tell us ship.
Speaker 1 (12:19):
Yeah, yeah, you missed them the last time they need
this darkest secrets. You would have been in heaven.
Speaker 3 (12:26):
Okay if you would have heard this last best wow
that we did. But yeah, so make sure y'all start
calling in for that. But we have about last night
right now. And last night, Mano, you were premiering the
video for vibe with me, right, yep, yep, and so
explain how you did this whole premiere.
Speaker 4 (12:42):
So we did the premiere actually with YouTube, which is
something different, and you know where they actually said, you know,
we're gonna permiit with you. We're gonna want to add
and we're gonna do something that they got going on,
something new like it's called after party where you go live.
And then so they set up set the link up
and I had you and Jasmine.
Speaker 3 (12:59):
Called yes, we called it. You were in the studio
of a Queen's Flip.
Speaker 1 (13:03):
My man, Queen's Flip. Shout out the Queen's flip. You
know it? Smart guy, he.
Speaker 3 (13:06):
Said, he wants to come up here, but I don't know.
We gotta get the dumb button.
Speaker 1 (13:09):
I don't know what he's.
Speaker 4 (13:10):
Gonna say, but I'm gonna tell you if we bring
flip up here, He's he's definitely a movie.
Speaker 1 (13:15):
It's definitely gonna be fun.
Speaker 10 (13:17):
No.
Speaker 4 (13:17):
But so we we we viewed the video, it came out,
we talked about it, and it was a vibe.
Speaker 3 (13:22):
Okay, So let's talk about the video a little bit
because the whole feel of it was kind of a
throwback to the hype Williams missus.
Speaker 4 (13:30):
When yes, that's exactly what it was. It was the
shiny suit era, you know, the star Trek glasses, all that,
you know, And I wanted to I wanted to kind
of step out my comfort zone and do something different.
Speaker 1 (13:42):
I wanted to I wanted to do there was choreogy
and get into a little character, you know.
Speaker 3 (13:48):
It's dancing in the video, and have fun.
Speaker 1 (13:51):
Did you have fun? Making it?
Speaker 4 (13:53):
Absolutely okay? And it was different fun because usually my
fun is a little different. It's like a lot of
girls and then maybe they kissing.
Speaker 3 (14:01):
It's different, right seeing it from the car kissing in
the back. But I will say, and people need to
know this too, right, it's okay to have fun. I
feel like New York was known for a while that
we would have parties in the club and nobody would dance.
Speaker 1 (14:16):
I kind of feel like it's similar to that now.
Speaker 3 (14:18):
It's still like that now, right, But that's what people
used to say, like you go to other cities people
having a good time in the club. I was in
Detroit the other day and I just I was staying
at the MGM, and so I went down to the
club in the casino when I tell you, they was
partying in the club and the casino.
Speaker 1 (14:34):
They doing line dances and everything.
Speaker 4 (14:36):
You know, when you want when you go to a
party and people really partying and dancing, it makes you
want to dance.
Speaker 3 (14:42):
It's actually a nice vibe because it's too when you
go to everybody want to have a table, everybody want
to have bottle service.
Speaker 1 (14:48):
People want to just look cool, and then you're really
not enjoying the You.
Speaker 3 (14:52):
Was wearing people on the phone filming themselves live.
Speaker 1 (14:55):
Yeah, just watching you, just room watching man No. So
I had an idea.
Speaker 3 (15:00):
I think that you should be part of the choreography
and you should have a Mano dance. I'm dead serious.
Speaker 1 (15:07):
You know, I'm gonna try that.
Speaker 3 (15:09):
Because I think a vibe with me dance on TikTok. Yeah,
I got to think about all those things.
Speaker 4 (15:14):
But I'm just telling you behind the scenes, I was
really trying to get it together, Like I've really tried.
Speaker 3 (15:22):
Gibson, real Lorian Gibson to come through and do some
choreography with Mano. I feel like that is next level
and that'll be fun. I'm with it, Okay, all right,
So we're gonna get that together. We gotta geart up here.
Now when we come back. I told you we gotta
tell us a secret.
Speaker 1 (15:38):
Please please, I'm begging.
Speaker 3 (15:41):
I'm begging fifty fifty numbers here, and that it's supposed
to be no judgment. It is anonymous. That's a fact,
no judgment. I can guarantee you on my end, there's
no judgment.
Speaker 1 (15:51):
I cannot cannot guarantee. I'm being honest right now, but
I please, I.
Speaker 3 (15:55):
Will cut manoff if he tries to say something crazy.
Speaker 4 (15:58):
I'm not trying to judge you, no, but we need
them to really really call in.
Speaker 1 (16:01):
All right, Yeah, let's go in.
Speaker 3 (16:02):
It's a Friday and fifty tell us a secret.
Speaker 1 (16:05):
It's way up with Angela yee. This is a judgment
free zone. Tell us a secret.
Speaker 3 (16:12):
Yes, it's way up at Angela yee. I'm Angela Yee.
Speaker 1 (16:14):
And Mano, yes, I'm back.
Speaker 3 (16:16):
It's my co host for the day. Yeah, all right,
and we're doing tell us a Secret. This is Mayno's
favorite favorite segments.
Speaker 1 (16:23):
Yes it is.
Speaker 3 (16:23):
And it's no judgment, Manos, So I really need you
to pay.
Speaker 1 (16:26):
Take heed to that. I can't guarantee.
Speaker 3 (16:28):
All right, but you get to remain anonymous. You get
to tell us whatever you want. We don't care what
it is that you did that you feel bad about.
Maybe you stole some money, maybe you cheated. Please please please,
there's some that bother menos so much that you will
call me weeks later and be like me, give that
money back, like that's not right, that's just not right.
(16:49):
But we're not judging you here. That's not our job.
Our job is to just listen and let you make
whatever confession that it is that you have, and.
Speaker 1 (16:56):
Do we forgive you for your sins?
Speaker 3 (16:58):
I forgive Okay, I mean are we in the position
to do that?
Speaker 1 (17:03):
I mean, I'm not nobody's.
Speaker 3 (17:05):
Yeah, But the point is you get it out there
in the atmosphere. Maybe it'll make you feel better, and
maybe it'll make you say maybe I need to do
something differently. Either way, tell it's a secret eight hundred
ninety two fifty one fifty Hello Anonymous, color, tell us
a secret.
Speaker 12 (17:18):
So before me and my wife got married, this is
about like four or five years ago. Long story, Shure,
I had sex with her mothers.
Speaker 1 (17:29):
And this is why you were dating. What while you
were dating, I mean we were.
Speaker 10 (17:33):
Together, we were together.
Speaker 12 (17:35):
Like this is kind of like the first year in
and you know, you're saying out the house or whatever.
And when I was over there, like I always caught
her mother like sing that to you know, I mean
the thing, so you know, I'm pulled up on her ass.
I'm like, yo, why are you why you always looking.
Speaker 2 (17:49):
In that area?
Speaker 8 (17:50):
And she was like, I want to see what it's like.
Speaker 1 (17:53):
Whoah, you knocked the mother off. Yeah, you are legends
stopping made up.
Speaker 4 (18:00):
You know they're gonna they're gonna they're gonna build schools
after you, bro named streets after you, brother.
Speaker 1 (18:05):
You know that, right?
Speaker 3 (18:06):
So how many times did you do it?
Speaker 2 (18:08):
Like? Three? Four times?
Speaker 10 (18:13):
It was good?
Speaker 12 (18:13):
What can I think?
Speaker 3 (18:14):
What is your wife's relationship like with her mom?
Speaker 12 (18:17):
They cool? They I mean, they don't even know. Well
she don't know white wife, you don't know.
Speaker 3 (18:21):
But I mean, okay, and when is the last time
you had sex with her mom? What's your mother in law?
Speaker 12 (18:29):
I can't comment on that.
Speaker 1 (18:31):
Oh it's still happening.
Speaker 13 (18:33):
Yeah, don't comment on that.
Speaker 1 (18:34):
Man.
Speaker 4 (18:35):
We're talking to a modern day legend. Man, we're talking
to like somebody. I mean, the statues will be doing.
Speaker 3 (18:40):
You have a you have a problem with certain things,
but for this.
Speaker 1 (18:42):
Is kind I'm just telling you like it's the greatest,
the opposite of judge. You're the greatest that ever did it?
Speaker 2 (18:49):
Bro?
Speaker 1 (18:49):
All right?
Speaker 3 (18:50):
All right, hello anonymous caller, are you doing you do?
Want to tell me a mano a secret?
Speaker 1 (18:57):
Yeah?
Speaker 13 (18:57):
I so nineteen when I was ooh, I had to
give to that got three thousand to get the A
in those classes?
Speaker 3 (19:07):
Walk us through this? How did this even go down?
Speaker 1 (19:10):
Alight?
Speaker 13 (19:10):
So I had a B. I wanted A because I
wanted my fourth point. Oh and so I went in
and I was like, hey, what to get a A?
Speaker 1 (19:18):
Like?
Speaker 13 (19:18):
Well, talk class? We talked class and went from there.
Speaker 1 (19:22):
So what went from there?
Speaker 13 (19:24):
I gave him?
Speaker 1 (19:27):
You gave him what? What? Wow?
Speaker 3 (19:31):
So okay, so it was a male professor. Yeah, okay,
and then you ended up getting an A.
Speaker 1 (19:37):
So you did a good job if.
Speaker 13 (19:38):
There, I got by, I mean yes, I got I.
Speaker 3 (19:41):
Wanted Okay, all right, Well, thank you for sharing. I
guess he earned that A.
Speaker 1 (19:45):
Yeah WHOA. If he would have did a bad job,
he probably would have been stuck with that B. That's
a bit much. He did win that D. What's thatp?
Anonymous color? Hey, hey, you want to s their secret?
Me and mano.
Speaker 14 (20:01):
I knew this is anyway. So a couple of months
ago at work, my boss started kicking on me for
whatever reason. So I had found her husband of social
media and we've been sleeping together.
Speaker 1 (20:13):
Oh wow, oh my god. So what did you just
at the DM?
Speaker 14 (20:17):
Yeah, sleep in this DM or whatever. And he responded,
I knew he was a cheater because of the talk
around the office. I mean I really think he was.
Donk oh, but he went and now it's to the
point where, like I didn't try to break it off
or whatever, but he's like, no, I don't want you
dealing with anybody else. So I thought him, like, well,
in order to keep this going, you have to give
me a monthly allowance. And he agreed.
Speaker 3 (20:36):
Wow wow, So now how do you how do you
interact with your bus at work?
Speaker 2 (20:41):
Now?
Speaker 14 (20:41):
When she tries to piss me off, I just smile, yeah,
under brush.
Speaker 1 (20:47):
Wow, that is demon behavior.
Speaker 14 (20:49):
Absolutely though. Nothing beat the cross for the double cross.
Speaker 1 (20:52):
Oh.
Speaker 3 (20:52):
Can I just recommend that you watch Obsession on Netflix?
Because oh please? That it's kind of a yeah, all right,
well be careful, be careful, okay, I will, all right,
all right, no judgment. How come you didn't give her
an award. Man know, how come she's not the goat?
Speaker 4 (21:12):
No, you know she it was a little different, but
I like what she did with her enemies though.
Speaker 1 (21:17):
Okay, just paying attention to who you give these saying
that was legendary, know real your mother at to say, like,
come on, that was she's sleeping. We're her Buss's husband.
That was allowing.
Speaker 4 (21:29):
Yeah, that was pretty major, though, I can't lie that
was pretty major.
Speaker 3 (21:32):
All right, Well, thank you guys for sharing with us
on tell us a secret. Mano did a good job
of not but he's a little biased. I'm gonna say that,
all right. Eight hundred two nine fifty one fifty. If
you didn't get through, we still want to hear from
you could always leave a message. It's way up at
the Angela yee. That was tell us a secret. When
we come back, we got yet, and let's discuss and
Rihanna making major moves while she's expecting baby number two
(21:55):
in the rooms.
Speaker 6 (21:57):
From industry shade to all of gosp out.
Speaker 3 (22:00):
Angela's feeling that, yes, it's the way I put Angela
yea am Angela yee. And Mano is here. I just
found something out. We're gonna talk about this later. Everybody
in this building went to a party last night that
I was not invited to go. I wasn't at the
party I was at.
Speaker 1 (22:18):
We gotta talk about it later, though. Shout out to Samantha.
I think I just got pressed in here too though.
Speaker 3 (22:23):
Okay, yeah he did. We'll talk about it later, but
let's do yet.
Speaker 1 (22:26):
Right now.
Speaker 3 (22:27):
Rihanna has been cast in a brand new movie. This
time she'll be playing Smurf Fat in Paramounts the Smurfs movie.
Speaker 1 (22:34):
You know how dope that is nice?
Speaker 3 (22:36):
It was crazy because remember the Smurfs used to always
come on and it was so long and there was
one woman.
Speaker 1 (22:43):
Yeah, right in the whole village. Yeah, how did they
get there? How did they all get there?
Speaker 3 (22:49):
And now Rihanna joked to Variety that she tried to
get the Papa Smurf roll but it didn't work out.
And she'll also be recording new songs for the soundtrack
and producing the reboot of The Friend. Okay, so the
Smurf's movie is gonna hit theaters in twenty twenty five.
Speaker 1 (23:03):
Wow, that's dope. It is Smurf Fat.
Speaker 3 (23:07):
Yeah, little Smurf Fat blue like the Navy like the
Rihanna Navy.
Speaker 1 (23:10):
Okay, so you can see, okay, you see all of
that happening all right now.
Speaker 3 (23:15):
Speaking of movies, French Montana has a documentary and the
trailer is available now. It's called for Khadija. He posted
been working on this since twenty seventeen. The best thing
we ever created. Tribeca June sixteenth, documented life story for Kadija,
Executive produced by my brothers Drake and Diddy.
Speaker 1 (23:32):
Listen to this. I was an immigrant with no papers.
I can't go to college, I can't get a job.
Speaker 12 (23:39):
My pop didn't like the way French was going and
he wanted to leave French.
Speaker 1 (23:43):
I just remember my mother working two three jobs.
Speaker 4 (23:46):
I walked in on my mother one time, crying, Frank,
they don't want to see a mother like that.
Speaker 1 (23:50):
A All the options you got hit the streets.
Speaker 4 (23:54):
As he was getting hotter in the streets, he turned
into artists.
Speaker 1 (23:58):
At this time, me and my to be running the city.
Speaker 4 (24:01):
It was him and his people against like whoever, this
young untouchable mob Moss.
Speaker 1 (24:06):
From New York Music controls the streets. That sounds good.
Speaker 4 (24:11):
It sounds good, And you know I met French many
many years ago.
Speaker 1 (24:16):
You know.
Speaker 4 (24:16):
So when I seen some of that clip last night,
it brought me back to the town we first met
back in.
Speaker 1 (24:21):
The DVD Days Boys Coach Boys and you know, the
whole DVD mixtape era.
Speaker 3 (24:28):
I'm at French Montana back then too. You want to
hear something funny. I had a bowling party and he
was there and he jumped into a picture. It was
like jay Z Michael Kaiser, but they I think Usher's
in the picture and they didn't know. They were like,
who is this like at that time? Yeah, so he
was in the picture and then it would be places
and it didn't even have him name it. Look at
where he is now? Well, so you still got that picture, Yeah,
(24:50):
I'll show.
Speaker 1 (24:51):
It to you. It's online.
Speaker 3 (24:53):
And speaking of you know, documentaries and things like that,
The Kardashians Season three tiler that and I saw people saying,
I am really interested in seeing this now.
Speaker 1 (25:03):
It looks that interesting.
Speaker 3 (25:05):
So here's Kim Kardashian and of course she's going to
be talking about her divorce.
Speaker 1 (25:10):
I don't even know where we left off. You were
still in the relationship.
Speaker 15 (25:13):
I was yeh, damn, okay, it's not okay today?
Speaker 9 (25:25):
Your divorce was final?
Speaker 1 (25:26):
Yeah, I don't know how Kim handles everything with her
ex husband, and.
Speaker 16 (25:30):
I don't think you realize the weight of the world
is on your shoulders.
Speaker 17 (25:33):
He has made of the most insane narrative we stay
silent through all the lies from my kids.
Speaker 3 (25:40):
In addition to that, Kylie Jenner is talking about her
plastic surgery and beauty standards.
Speaker 1 (25:45):
Here's what you had to say.
Speaker 17 (25:46):
All of us just need to have a bigger conversation
about the beauty standards that we're setting. And I don't
want my daughter to do the things I did. I
wish I'd never touch anything.
Speaker 1 (25:57):
To begin with.
Speaker 3 (25:59):
Who All right, So she's saying that she has some regrets,
and we see a lot of now people going back
and fixing some of the surgery that they had previously.
Speaker 1 (26:07):
They never take the lips out though, I think.
Speaker 3 (26:11):
Yeah, fillers, you can dissolve those. I believe, if I'm
not mistaken, it's on their own. You have to keep
getting us. We've done, but that is your yet. And
speaking of fillers, when we come back, we have under
the radar and we're gonna talk about fillers for you
guys in a place that I'm good.
Speaker 1 (26:27):
Just imagine it's a way up with Angela Yee.
Speaker 2 (26:30):
News.
Speaker 6 (26:31):
This in the news that relates to you. These stories
are flying under the radar.
Speaker 3 (26:35):
Yes, it's way up with Angela Yee. I'm Angela Yee
and new MANO giving advice like it great advice.
Speaker 1 (26:42):
I'm a real good advice giver.
Speaker 3 (26:45):
You're a great advice giver. Advice giver, all right, And
now we are doing under the radar. These are stories
that are not necessarily headline news stories, but we think
they're fascinating and people should know about them. Now, this
one is about fillers, and I don't I mean facial fillers.
I don't mean lip fillers. We're talking about penis fillers.
They said, facial fillers are on the decline, but penis
(27:06):
fillers are rising more than ever, and we mean rising.
Speaker 1 (27:10):
All right.
Speaker 3 (27:10):
How much does it costs upwards of fifteen thousand dollars
if you want to enlarger package. Now a lot of
people have been talking about dissolving their facial fillers, but
right now people are talking about enhancing their penis with these.
The idea originated, according to doctor Schaeffer, who specializes in
this treatment, about six years ago. A patient's friend suggested
injecting his penis. He said, a light went off in
(27:32):
my head, and I said, why not. If you want
to be the guinea pig, we'll do it.
Speaker 1 (27:36):
And he said.
Speaker 3 (27:36):
I had him come back a couple of days later,
and we did it. He called a week later. He said,
this stuff is amazing, but I want to have more
of it. And he said he's refined the procedure over
the years, and so he got really popular with this
procedure because it was experimental at first, he said, the
guy I was injecting started going on these penis chat rooms,
and people eventually came across our website and ended up
(27:57):
making the appointment. People come in for all reasons.
Speaker 1 (27:59):
He said.
Speaker 3 (28:00):
He thought when he first started doing it, it was
going to be people smaller, but it's not.
Speaker 1 (28:03):
He said, a lot of porn actors.
Speaker 3 (28:05):
Teachers, prison guards, actors, executives, financial people, people in the
tech world.
Speaker 1 (28:10):
They're all doing this. I'm good prison cause I.
Speaker 3 (28:16):
Paused that one too. Why is that particular?
Speaker 1 (28:20):
Walking around to Joe all the way up? Huh all
the way up now.
Speaker 3 (28:24):
Doctor Schaeffer is the lead on the only FDA approved
study on off label use of fillers for penis enlargement,
but they are doing studies to see what the complications
could be. And of course, he said safety is his
number one thing, And he said he's done thousands now,
about twenty to twenty five a week of these penis fillers,
and it's a very popular procedure and a lot of
(28:44):
doctors have been reaching out trying to get him to
teach them how to do it.
Speaker 1 (28:47):
So straight.
Speaker 3 (28:50):
But yeah, if you want to make an appointment, you know,
we'll tell you what you can't expect. It's not that painful,
they said, you won't actually feel anything. There's a numbing
shot that they do at the base of the penis,
and then they prep it after that and then just
like we're doing a surgery, it's the same sterile techniques
and you lie on the procedure table.
Speaker 1 (29:07):
So nah, we're good.
Speaker 3 (29:10):
That's it all right, and it will not impact your
sex life if you if you guys want to try it,
So there you go. Now, here's another thing I was
reading for under the Radar, a sleep divorce. This is
something that's really popular. Now, imagine you're with somebody and
it's hard for you to sleep when they're in the room.
Should you get a sleep divorce. What this means is
for some people sleeping separately. According to doctors, there's a
(29:34):
lot of benefits to that if you don't like the snoring,
if you guys have like a way different schedule, Like
I remember for me getting up at four in the morning.
It used to be really hard, you know, to be
with someone and then the alarm gets off and then
he wakes up, and you know, you press snooze a
few times. So maybe the best idea is to sleep
in another room or in another bed.
Speaker 1 (29:53):
A sleep divorce. Do you have to go to court
for that?
Speaker 3 (29:56):
No, it's actually you guys are together but just trying
to get a better night's sleep.
Speaker 1 (30:00):
What if you're in a studio apartment one.
Speaker 3 (30:03):
Bedroom, then maybe you have to go on the couch
really and sleep there. You know, I don't know, but imagine,
have you been with somebody that snores really loudly or
are you that person may know that snores really loudly.
Speaker 1 (30:15):
I was.
Speaker 4 (30:15):
I was with somebody that snored like an animal. I'm
not saying I was with them.
Speaker 3 (30:19):
But I had an experience with them, and I was like, yo,
you so imagine that every single night?
Speaker 4 (30:26):
Yeah, I couldn't deal with that that day.
Speaker 3 (30:29):
Right, So a sleep divorce might be the solution for you. Yeah,
I will say this though, I love to sleep, you know,
next cuddle up and sleep like I'm a type of
person at night I'm going to sleep with like my
leg over you, my arm over you. You can't move
And then he like, yeah, you can't move, And so
I can't imagine sleeping with like him being in the
other room.
Speaker 1 (30:49):
And I'm it's true, you're taking all the snoring and anything.
Speaker 3 (30:55):
Yeah, because I also probably am the one this. Wow,
I snurred on my back. If I'm I gotta flip
over on my side and we'll say, he'll like nudge
me and then I'll stop so loud. Probably all right,
Well that is your under the radar.
Speaker 15 (31:10):
Now.
Speaker 3 (31:10):
We do have the Way Up mixed coming at the
top of the hour. Plus we got to ask you.
You can start calling up right now if you have
any questions, because Meno's here and he's a an advice.
Speaker 1 (31:17):
Giver as well.
Speaker 3 (31:18):
Yeah, I am eight hundred two nine two fifty one fifty.
It's way up with Angela.
Speaker 1 (31:23):
Yee hey, yeah, she's back at it.
Speaker 12 (31:28):
Bring it.
Speaker 1 (31:28):
Bringing the back Way Up with Angela Yee is on. Yes,
it's way up with Angela Yee.
Speaker 3 (31:33):
I'm here with my Compadreo Mano New Mano Mana. You
have a new video out right.
Speaker 1 (31:40):
Yes, just came out. Vibe with Me, Yes, Vibe with Me.
Speaker 3 (31:43):
All right now, we're gonna talk about that more and
new releases. But let's talk about Latto now. She has
her own show seven seven seven Radio on Apple Music,
and she had her sister Brooklyn to call on as
her guest on the latest episode, and she talked about
her plastic surgery.
Speaker 1 (31:56):
Here's what she said, when I didn't have my surgery
to do ooh's.
Speaker 3 (32:03):
Side and then when I got the surgery is.
Speaker 18 (32:05):
Oh, she'sh it's too heavy.
Speaker 1 (32:10):
You're never gonna win.
Speaker 7 (32:12):
So just find peace within yourself whatever you want to do,
do that, I promise you. Without the pressure on you, you
would love yourself your natural state. Take that and own
that to all the women listening, just to put that
out there.
Speaker 3 (32:28):
And that is a fact. No matter what you do,
somebody gonna have a press.
Speaker 1 (32:31):
A fact. No matter what, people are gonna criticize you.
Speaker 3 (32:34):
They're gonna criticize different things about you, and and you're
gonna pay attention to that more than the people are
saying you look great.
Speaker 4 (32:39):
Right, That's the fact you somehow circling on the negative comments.
You go right, they say you should have went left,
they say you should have went down.
Speaker 3 (32:48):
Then you go and do things that you feel like
you should do because people are.
Speaker 1 (32:51):
Saying it, and then they criticize that.
Speaker 3 (32:54):
So yes, that's good. She also said she doesn't want
to be doing music forever. She's got this radio show,
she's been doing her acting dope. You know, do you
think you put a time limit on when you're like, Okay,
after this, I'm not doing it anymore.
Speaker 1 (33:05):
I just think that we could.
Speaker 4 (33:06):
I mean, nowadays you can do so many different things
at the same time. You know, whether you do music,
whether you still do music, you can do music, do radio,
do podcast, act. You can pretty much do all those
things at the same time.
Speaker 1 (33:18):
Now.
Speaker 3 (33:19):
Yeah, I think it's interesting because the music people normally
do it because they love it. People don't just do
music like you love to do music, and it's difficult
to break through ifybody even know who you are. So
once you get to that point, you can say I
don't want to do this for amount of years, but
then you're like.
Speaker 1 (33:34):
You Want'm still doing it. Yeah, all right, Barack Obama.
Speaker 3 (33:37):
He actually has a new series coming out on Netflix,
is a four part docu series that he's narrating. It's
called Working what we do all day and explores the
ways in which we find meaning in our work and
how our experiences and struggles connect us on a human level.
That's the Netflix description of the project. It actually premieres
May seventeenth, and it's based and inspired on a Pulitic
(33:59):
prize writer book from nineteen seventy fours. That's Turtle's book Working.
It's an oral history that explores jobs and the people
who do them.
Speaker 1 (34:08):
Listen to the trailer.
Speaker 3 (34:09):
I may not think about it, but we're all part
of something larger than any single one of us, and
our work is one of the forces that connects us.
Speaker 1 (34:18):
It looks crazy downtown. A revolution is happening right before
our eyes.
Speaker 9 (34:23):
Artificial intelligence, remote work, spiraling inequality.
Speaker 1 (34:27):
It can be hard to make sense of where we're going.
Speaker 10 (34:30):
What are People from three different industries, from the service
entrance to the C suite invited us into their lives
and told us what makes a good job good?
Speaker 3 (34:42):
What makes a good job good? I think a lot
of it is do you like the people you work with?
What are the benefits? You know, how stressful is it?
I like a job where like with me what I
do here, I know, I end up doing stuff like
outside of work and when I'm at home. But it's
nice to be able to turn it off sometimes, right.
Speaker 4 (34:57):
But it's also about if you actually like to do
what you're doing. Some people get up every day to
go to jobs that they don't like right right, just
to pay bills.
Speaker 3 (35:07):
And sometimes you know, you can like what you're doing
but not get compensated, right, and then that can make
you a little irritating vertible all right. Now, speaking of
programming Snoop Dogg, Little Kim Yasin Bay, there are a
few of the hip hop artists at Audible is using
to create their own series in honor of the fiftieth anniversary,
So beginning this summer, there'll be several hip hop icons
(35:28):
hosting shows on the audio storytelling platform. In addition, they
expect that public enemies Chuck d and DJ Drama are
gonna appear as well, so that should be interesting with
Audible fifty years of hip hop. Yes and the irs
is claiming that Beyonce oh, was two point seven million
dollars in unpaid taxes and penalties. But she's fighting that.
She's saying that her charitable donations weren't figured in. By
(35:53):
the way, that's a pocket change for beyond exactly. I'm
sure that's her accounting and they.
Speaker 1 (35:58):
Got to figure out she got that write that right off.
Speaker 3 (36:01):
Looks like an amendment saying, look, these chaitable contributions have
to count towards everything else in my itemized deductions. But again,
it's important to stay on top of your taxi. So
that way, when you know, you say oh something or
there's a correction to be made, you don't want to
be paying interests and fees and all of that. So
I'm sure her legal team is going to take care
of it. But somehow I made it into the news.
(36:21):
All right, well that is your yee t And you
know it's a Friday, so you know what that means
new music.
Speaker 1 (36:28):
Music, new mano mano.
Speaker 3 (36:30):
So when we come back, will tell you what albums,
what singles, what videos, because I know somebody who just
put out a new video too is out today. It's
way up with Angelee.
Speaker 2 (36:40):
Hey, yeah, she.
Speaker 6 (36:44):
Back at it in the way up with Angela Yee
is on.
Speaker 3 (36:49):
All right, it's way up with Angela Yee. I'm Angela Yee.
And what did you guys do last night? Mano's here?
What'd you do last night?
Speaker 1 (36:57):
Mayno? You know me and you We did something with
YouTube last night? Remember, Okay? What time is that? You know? Eight?
Speaker 4 (37:03):
Thing after I had to make my rounds both Chelsea's
stopped at Chelsea Downtown, you know, stopped in there for
about five minutes, ten minutes the most.
Speaker 1 (37:13):
Oh, that's it, yes, it, and then I went to
uptown Chelsea.
Speaker 3 (37:17):
There's three other people in the room as well. Okay, Dan,
he's our producer. What did you do last night? Did
you you were Chelsea House too?
Speaker 1 (37:25):
That's where Mano was, right, Okay? Nick?
Speaker 3 (37:28):
He actually runs the board to Nick. What did you
do last night? You were Chelsea House?
Speaker 1 (37:32):
Also? All right? That's cool.
Speaker 3 (37:34):
Now, Sam, who's not normally in this room, right, she's
at working.
Speaker 1 (37:38):
But what'd you do last night? I was at Chelsea House?
Speaker 8 (37:43):
All right?
Speaker 3 (37:43):
So there's five of us in this room right on two, three, four, five,
four of us were at Chelsea House. What was happening
at Chelsea House?
Speaker 1 (37:50):
I don't know. I walked in and it was. It
was adventige, Sam, do you know what was happening? All right?
I want to jump right out the window here and
say I had an a but I.
Speaker 18 (38:01):
Invited you to it, and I just did the follow
up invitation.
Speaker 1 (38:06):
When did you send an invite?
Speaker 18 (38:08):
I invited her physically, so she forgot. She forgot, but
we were both drunk when I invited her. It was
at that Miguel dinner. Shout out to R C A
C A. Sorry, how long ago was that?
Speaker 2 (38:23):
What?
Speaker 1 (38:24):
Half three weeks ago?
Speaker 3 (38:27):
While we were drunk? You invited me, okay?
Speaker 1 (38:29):
But today now the question is how did everyone else know?
Did they get?
Speaker 18 (38:36):
I didn't know how well may No knew because that's
his stuff, okay. And then everyone else I invited because
I have like their numbers and stuff. I don't have
your number, and I meant to tell Dan I don't
have the's number, just for her the invitation, to make
sure she remembers. I was so busy I forgot.
Speaker 1 (38:56):
I'm looking at all this whole technically, I really didn't know.
Speaker 4 (38:59):
I spoke to the general man managed to shout out
the quay earlier that day, but because I was sending
some people over there and then she told me it
was an event happening, and then I didn't know who.
Speaker 1 (39:12):
Okay.
Speaker 3 (39:12):
Now like I'm looking at your story, sim I see
home Team with a heart, wow, okay. And then I
see Eddie was there? Eddie f Man, you know, I see.
Speaker 1 (39:22):
I'll look at here Dan.
Speaker 3 (39:23):
In the picture of DJ pro Style. All Look, here's
a huge shout out to Samantha for inviting me to
this unplugged event. It really felt so good just to
vibe with no phones and make genuine connections. I'm glad
Angela wasn't there.
Speaker 18 (39:36):
No, I see now you're capping like you are a
lot of sod this.
Speaker 3 (39:46):
Scenario was there too, Okay, really dope event. Shout out
to Simon putting this together. If you weren't there, you're square.
Speaker 1 (39:55):
Wow. Okay, you were invited.
Speaker 3 (39:58):
All right, So I want to know what you guys
think that are listening. Have you ever felt left out?
Have you ever felt like everybody went out to a
party without you and you just simply were not included?
And I did a deeper dive into this.
Speaker 1 (40:10):
Wait before you.
Speaker 18 (40:11):
Called me, consider the fact that I told Angela you
should have just added it to your cap three weeks ago.
Speaker 1 (40:19):
You should have put it on your cavend.
Speaker 18 (40:21):
That's what the I told THEA and she said, just
make sure I saw my calendar.
Speaker 3 (40:25):
Did you put it on her calendar? Or how did
that happen because she told me to? Okay, so waited
for a lot of people when I told out here
every day. You know, so you haven't seen me in
three weeks.
Speaker 1 (40:37):
We haven't seen each other a lot.
Speaker 3 (40:39):
Think about it, Sam, I don't know so Leg did
this deep dive. There's a few different reasons it could be.
All right, well, we'll talk about it when we come back.
Eight nine, two fifty fifty. It's time to pick a side.
Speaker 1 (40:53):
Okay.
Speaker 3 (40:53):
Do you think that there's any way that Sam could
have invited me? Or do you think that it was
I did invite to you? And she's stating that somehow
everybody else in the whole entire building, I saw people
from different offices, all right, that made it out there,
and I just want to know what happened. Eight fifty
Pick aside.
Speaker 6 (41:12):
It's about what you believe. It's time to pick a
side and stay there.
Speaker 3 (41:17):
Pick aside and stay there. Right, it's way up with
Angela ye, I'm Angela yee.
Speaker 1 (41:21):
Mano is here.
Speaker 3 (41:22):
Yes, I ah, after a long night of partying, not
at all, Sim is here. Hey, Sim, it's your Instagram
so people can follow you and see who exactly did this.
Speaker 18 (41:33):
My instagram is underscore, sim Sima, underscore.
Speaker 1 (41:36):
S y M s y MMA, and you will see.
So let me tell you what happened. Let's set it up.
Speaker 3 (41:42):
Sim Sima here had a party last night and invited.
When I tell you, everybody in the studio was there
last night.
Speaker 18 (41:49):
Some people that work here didn't come in this particular studio, okay,
and some people that didn't come, but they were invited, right,
so were you.
Speaker 3 (41:58):
She invited me during a good night out at a
mcguil event. So she says, I don't even remember this happening,
but she I'm taking your work.
Speaker 1 (42:05):
For you don't remember the invite, You don't remember the conversation, and.
Speaker 18 (42:08):
Invited you and Jasmine while we were sitting right and
missed the Chad.
Speaker 1 (42:11):
Jasmine went down right the Jasmin.
Speaker 3 (42:14):
In DC, so she couldn't go. So but I'm sure
she was invited. But yes, so everybody here was at
the party. And I saw a lot of posts on
social media. I saw Anthea, who is our boss up
here actually posting great night, great event, thank you for inviting.
Speaker 1 (42:31):
Every week night.
Speaker 3 (42:33):
And we also, by the way, have access to the
whole company email.
Speaker 1 (42:36):
All you got to do is type in the person's name.
But it was it was a positive event, not a
company event.
Speaker 3 (42:41):
Oh so everybody in the company but me.
Speaker 18 (42:45):
Yo, y'all, when you follow me your when you go
and look at the stories, you're gonna see that it
was not.
Speaker 1 (42:53):
Mano was there.
Speaker 3 (42:54):
So Mano does work here, so that's fair enough.
Speaker 1 (42:56):
It's technically in his defense, he did a pop up.
Speaker 3 (42:59):
Because he needed to, okay, and I did a deeper
dive and on the inside of seven reasons everyone at
work is hanging out without you. Oh no, you guys
should check it out and see what these reasons could be.
But is it social boundaries? Is it your co workers
don't like you? Is it you're coming across as desperate?
(43:22):
Is it your colleagues are clicking? I'm not part of
the wall. I do want to say. It just came
to my head. I didn't invite Mano. I invited you.
Speaker 1 (43:35):
Now what you guys.
Speaker 3 (43:36):
Say, you know, Okay, we're gonna pick a side. Hello,
who's this?
Speaker 19 (43:40):
This is yes?
Speaker 2 (43:42):
It is.
Speaker 3 (43:43):
It's me and Mano's Hare Simmons here and we want
to know what you think about this pick aside.
Speaker 1 (43:47):
Okay, what's up? I'm sure similar invite you out, So
what do you what do you think?
Speaker 19 (44:01):
Thousand side with angel and though, like I said, with
me doing music, I also with the regular nine to five.
So like a lot of times, I really will be
hella busy with like booth lives, you know, and I
feel my friends all the time, like damn, man, I
really wanted to go here with you or I wanted
to go there. I would have loved to be pictures
(44:22):
in that crowd, you know, in that networking speech.
Speaker 1 (44:24):
Okay, hold on now, I'm gonna play Devil's advocate.
Speaker 18 (44:27):
Though, So if you're too busy to remember to go
to an event you actually want to go to, how
come I'm not allowed to be too busy to remember
to remind you to come to an event that I
really want you to come to. So busy at the
same time, like hello, wow, go ahead, like all all.
Speaker 19 (44:49):
Of y'all dude, exactly what I do. But on the
grand field, you know what I'm saying. So they know
that me and lies and what I like to call them,
we have to pull ourselves out of ourself and just
in cool others Like, yeah, my team gets mad at
me all the time for doing it, and I get
mad at my friends verse version for doing the same
thing to me, because then when they look back at it,
(45:12):
they're like, oh, wow, I was just diing myself, or
I was there with a couple of people, but I
didn't bring my whole network. Thank you, reminding them like
we're a network.
Speaker 3 (45:20):
No, thank you, I appreciate you. I hope people are
listening to this because I would hate for this to
happen to someone else, right exactly, Yes, thank you, Catherine.
Speaker 1 (45:29):
Hey, hey, Katheryn.
Speaker 3 (45:31):
Have you ever had the whole office go to an
event and not invite you?
Speaker 19 (45:35):
I'm have, but I've been on both sides of that.
I've on both sides of that when when you're a
person who was planning the event, you get consumed with
the event, right, And I believe that it was an
honest mistake that she forgot she told you in passing
and she forgot to you know, the reminder or hey,
don't forget, and it just could have been you know,
that she was just planning her event.
Speaker 18 (45:57):
Okay, I want to add this now that you just
brought this up to because the way that I invited
everyone was through text. Most people got a text message
of the flyer. But ye has my number and I
don't have hers.
Speaker 1 (46:13):
You know what. You just gave me your number after
this whole.
Speaker 3 (46:16):
We work in the same office, though, and she managed
to come in here this morning, right not having my number.
Speaker 1 (46:22):
All right?
Speaker 3 (46:23):
To ask man if he was okay with how aggressive
she was?
Speaker 1 (46:28):
Very aggressive last night. She could have whiped in here.
Speaker 19 (46:33):
I think it was just a simple mistake. Up to you,
I would have felt some kind of.
Speaker 5 (46:38):
Way as well.
Speaker 19 (46:39):
Don't get me wrong, okay, But at the same time,
when you're planning events, you just get so consumed with that.
Speaker 18 (46:45):
Okay, all right, Yeah, I'm gonna make it up. Your
picture is gonna be on my step and repeat.
Speaker 1 (46:52):
Thank you, Catherine.
Speaker 19 (46:54):
All right?
Speaker 1 (46:56):
Hello is this Hello? This to Q from Queen Q
from us.
Speaker 3 (47:00):
We're doing pick aside right now. Simon is in here.
She had a party last night. Invited everybody in the
studio and on this floor and in this building except me.
Speaker 1 (47:08):
I invited you.
Speaker 3 (47:09):
What do you think who's right and who's wrong?
Speaker 1 (47:11):
Here?
Speaker 10 (47:11):
Well, I ain't gonna lie.
Speaker 1 (47:12):
I'm gonna be honest.
Speaker 2 (47:13):
I was listening.
Speaker 10 (47:14):
She did invite you.
Speaker 2 (47:16):
It was a little while ago.
Speaker 13 (47:17):
But what I was saying was.
Speaker 2 (47:19):
You know, we're all busy.
Speaker 1 (47:20):
She's throwing an event.
Speaker 13 (47:21):
She got a lot going on.
Speaker 10 (47:23):
That double invite went.
Speaker 19 (47:24):
On once she gave you that first invitation.
Speaker 10 (47:26):
I think you should have throw it.
Speaker 13 (47:27):
In your calendar real quick.
Speaker 1 (47:28):
This is there was drunk, drunk, and it was three
weeks ago.
Speaker 18 (47:32):
I didn't even have my phone with me, but what
I was drunk, and I still told you so you could.
Speaker 1 (47:39):
Y'all being drunk.
Speaker 4 (47:40):
Y'all, being drunk definitely plays a role, but I think
it's a little bit of shared responsibility.
Speaker 2 (47:45):
Also shout out me, no may know you, my guy,
it's Q.
Speaker 10 (47:48):
I shot it on the Iron Legend video a little
while ago.
Speaker 1 (47:50):
Okay, that's what's up, my guy.
Speaker 3 (47:52):
Well, maybe you guys can go to chest house all together,
and well, I will take accountability.
Speaker 18 (47:58):
I should have followed up, and I could have followed up,
but don't say I didn't invite you.
Speaker 3 (48:05):
All right, Well, thank you, all right, sim We'll see
next one.
Speaker 1 (48:08):
Next one. I told you I'm gonna put your face
on my step and repeat.
Speaker 3 (48:11):
Okay, well I'm busy that night, but thank you.
Speaker 1 (48:17):
Whatever is.
Speaker 3 (48:21):
Okay, Well, listen when we come back. I want to
talk about this. I'm looking at all the gossip now
Smokey Robinson talking about his affair with Diana Ross while
he was still married and he loved his wife. And
then we see Duel Santana talking about being faithful his
wife and he does want Kimbella back is what it's
She calls herself single. We're gonna talk about it though,
(48:42):
because if you are cheating, can you still be in love?
Speaker 1 (48:51):
Yeahs back at it?
Speaker 3 (48:55):
Up with Angela Yee is on all right, It's way
up with Angela Yee. I'm Angela Yee and.
Speaker 1 (48:59):
Mayo, Yes I am.
Speaker 3 (49:01):
And we were talking about Smokey Robinson. He has an
album out today called Gasms, and he's been doing a
lot of press and he was talking to the Guardian
and I know he's talked about this before, but he
was talking about having a year long affair with Diana
Ross while he was married to his first wife, Claudette Rogers.
Now he said that she's a beautiful lady. I love
her right till today. She's one of my closest people.
She was young and trying to get her career together.
(49:23):
He said he was trying to help her break into
the scene. At the time. He said, I wasn't going
after her, and she wasn't going after me. And they
did end their alleged romance out of guilt after they'd
been seeing each other for a while. Diana said she
couldn't do that because she knew Claudette and she knew
I still love my wife, he said, and I did.
I loved my wife very much. And then I was
looking at Kimbella and Joel's and I Duell's had did
(49:43):
this post on his story. I pride myself on being
faithful because there was a time I wasn't. I don't
won't cheat on my wife. That's how I knew I
was ready to get married, because I knew I was
ready to fully commit to my wife. So no matter
where we stand at the moment, as long as we married,
I would will never break my vows. I'm hers, that's fat.
No be will ever get to hold that over her,
he said. For anybody wondering or trying to be slick,
(50:05):
so I'm wondering, can you be in love with somebody
and still cheat.
Speaker 1 (50:08):
Yes, you said that too fast?
Speaker 4 (50:11):
Yes, okay, explain because I don't believe that a man
cheats because he doesn't love his wife. See, a man
can cheat based around luss. It's lower desire, right, So
you can have your wife at home and have all
of the great things going on at home, but still
get caught up in your own loss and.
Speaker 3 (50:31):
Yours attraction will never go away to other.
Speaker 1 (50:34):
People say, but men act on it more than women.
Speaker 3 (50:36):
At what point do you say, Okay, I can't act
on these things. I can see someone and say they're attractive,
but I have too much at stake here and I
wouldn't want to hurt the person that.
Speaker 1 (50:45):
I'm right, that's the right thing to say.
Speaker 4 (50:47):
But sometimes, looking at your watch and you're looking around
the room, you're saying, man, I got to be home
at four point thirty.
Speaker 1 (50:54):
It's two. Now, I got a little I got a
little time. Wow, you know, I don't know if that's
love now.
Speaker 3 (51:00):
I did do a deeper dive, a deeper dive, and
I went into psychology today and eight reasons people cheat
on someone they love. Okay, And this is from a
psychologist who's been working with people who come to their
office all the time. And that's one of the adulteries.
An issue one self exploration, to explore repressed parts of
yourself insecurity. Sometimes tutor struggle with self esteem.
Speaker 1 (51:24):
Is this you? Oh? No?
Speaker 3 (51:28):
The appeal of transgression. These teators are like children stealing
a cookie. Their mother says they can't have the forbidden nature.
Speaker 1 (51:37):
No cookie for you.
Speaker 2 (51:38):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (51:39):
Unresolved early life trauma. Sometimes teets are re enacting or
responding to unresolved childhood traumas neglect, emotional abuse, physical abuse,
sexual abuse. The life not lived, that's the life that
could have been, the lover that got away or the
lover that never was drives the infidelity. The teat is
not unhappy with their current life, but they're curious about
(52:00):
what their life might have been if they chose a
different path.
Speaker 1 (52:03):
I think Navy needs to cheat. Don't do that. You're
gonna get him each other. We don't want to know
who that is.
Speaker 3 (52:09):
Stop stop stop wanting to feel intense emotions, inherent selfishness, entitlement.
Some cheaters, despite loving their partner and enjoying their relationship,
feel they deserve more, rather than seeing their vow fidelity
as a sacrifice. Made too and for their relationship. They
view it as something to be worked around.
Speaker 4 (52:26):
That could be you it probably, I mean, I don't.
I don't think it's that simple. I think that men
are just designed that way.
Speaker 3 (52:35):
We're gonna talk about that more, but we do have
ask ye when we come back.
Speaker 1 (52:38):
Now. Mano is here.
Speaker 3 (52:39):
He says that he's a good advice giver.
Speaker 1 (52:40):
I am call up, ask you anything, right, I'm here today.
Speaker 3 (52:44):
I remember every answer is not having thresome Mano to
every problem, asky.
Speaker 6 (52:51):
Next, Since whether it's relationship or career advice, Angela's dropping facts.
Speaker 3 (52:57):
All right, it's time for ask ye. It's way up
with Angela.
Speaker 1 (53:00):
Ye.
Speaker 3 (53:01):
Mano is here, that great advice giver that he is.
Eight hundred two nine fifty one fifty is a number?
Speaker 1 (53:06):
Hello, who's this? Desiree? Okay, desiree. What's your question?
Speaker 2 (53:11):
So?
Speaker 9 (53:11):
I've been taking this guy. I really like him, but
I don't feel like he prioritized me. He keeps saying
he got a lot of stuff going on. What is
the best way to like let go?
Speaker 1 (53:21):
Ooh you want to let go? Man No, do not
give that answer.
Speaker 4 (53:24):
You're about Oh, hold on, you don't know, like hold
on baby, Like, you don't know if he is not interested,
he's just busy.
Speaker 3 (53:32):
But he's he's not prioritizing her.
Speaker 1 (53:33):
And we all know, like they say busy. How many
times a week do you see him? How many times
a week do you see him?
Speaker 5 (53:41):
It's like three times every two weeks.
Speaker 3 (53:44):
Ooh, that's not a lot.
Speaker 1 (53:45):
That's not that's not that bad. How far does he live?
Speaker 5 (53:49):
What like twenty minutes?
Speaker 9 (53:51):
No?
Speaker 3 (53:52):
Come on, man, no three times every time?
Speaker 4 (53:53):
Y'all are y'all in a relationship though, Like, are y'all
are y'all just talking?
Speaker 5 (53:57):
No, we were in a relationship.
Speaker 3 (53:59):
Yeah, that's not relationship. If he lives twenty minutes away
and you see him, what is he so busy doing that?
Speaker 1 (54:04):
Like? What is he saying?
Speaker 14 (54:06):
I don't got so many excuses.
Speaker 19 (54:08):
It's like at this point, you know, don't give me
your free time prioritize you, like, come on, make it
make sense.
Speaker 1 (54:13):
Maybe you want another girl like mahama ma.
Speaker 3 (54:16):
No, that is not the answer for every question.
Speaker 19 (54:18):
But you can't even use that because he had that already.
Speaker 3 (54:22):
WHOA Okay, And once you open that door, do you
think he's seeing other women?
Speaker 19 (54:30):
At this point, I'm not sure. I don't think he's
like off this tainble.
Speaker 3 (54:34):
Okay, I want to say this. If it's not working
for you and what he the effort that he's making
is not enough for you, then this is not the person.
If he's not going to step up to the table
and give you what you need, you don't have to
settle absolutely, so you know what it is. And next
time when he wants to if he finally decides to
come around and want to do something, I would act
like I'm not even in a relationship at this point.
(54:56):
You know, do whatever I feel like doing, and when
he wants to see me, I'm And I'm sure you've
expressed to him numerous times what you need him to do, right, yes,
And if you tell somebody what I need you to
do and they don't do it, then they don't care.
Speaker 1 (55:10):
I agree, Okay, all right, well you know what you
need to do. Ray, You're welcome, thank you?
Speaker 3 (55:16):
Or what else could she do?
Speaker 1 (55:17):
Mana, I told you what she could do? All right?
Speaker 3 (55:22):
Well that was asky And when we come back, we
have a last word. You guys always get the last word.
On way Up with Angela Ye eight hundred two nine
fifty one fifty call us up.
Speaker 1 (55:30):

Speaker 6 (55:32):

Speaker 6 (55:36):
Here's the last word on Way Up with Angela Yee.
Speaker 1 (55:40):
Yes, it is way up at Angela Yee.

Speaker 3 (55:52):

Speaker 1 (55:56):

Speaker 3 (55:57):
I'm saying you were at Chelsea House whatever else after
that you went out again. Yeah, I was outside last night.

Speaker 3 (56:33):
Alumni a trophy. I'm actually do you have trophies at home?
Speaker 1 (56:39):
Not at all?
Speaker 3 (56:40):
Okay, I have a bowling trophy really from third grade
because now that I seen your bowl and it's not
really hitting okay. And I also have a storytelling trophy.
I want some storytelling contests in elementary.
Speaker 1 (56:53):
School really still tell the story. I wonder what the
trophies are, what time, what type of trophy? You and
me have a threesome trophy.
Speaker 3 (57:04):
It'd be like you and two girls.
Speaker 1 (57:06):
Definitely can possibly.
Speaker 3 (57:10):
Well, thank you to everybody for joining us today. And remember,
treat your coworker is nice. If there's a party, invite them.

(57:31):
over the weekend, you can always call us up and
leave a message and we will play it. So even
if you're out and you're partying, maybe you want to
take a moment eight hundred two nine fifty one fifty
and leave a message so.
Speaker 1 (57:40):
We can laugh.
Speaker 3 (57:42):
But it's no judgment up here.
Speaker 1 (57:44):
I'll wait up with Angela.
Speaker 8 (57:45):
Yee.
Speaker 3 (57:45):
How you doing all right? You guys have the last word.
Speaker 2 (57:48):
Hey, ye, I'm not gonna leave my name because I
just want to kill a secret that's been on me
for a while. I have a twin brother and we're
both married, and we got with these sisters and their twins.
It was it was years ago, but about three years ago,
I was drunk. My brothers is a wife was drunk
(58:12):
and we missed around and had a little drinking entanglement,
and she ended up getting pregnant. You know that. Of course,
the baby looked like us, so me and her knew
what happened so secretly, me and her. When he got there,
they didn't. They just down with a baby and this
our child. That's my son, but I called him a nephew.
Speaker 16 (58:32):
