I want to have surgery on what. I want to
have a corn removed when.

Speaker 8 (01:50):
My Boddy and Jordan's had her feet done.

Speaker 1 (01:53):
No, but it was more than corns. I was okay,
So we had to like straighten him out or something. Okay,
I don't know, that's a question.

Speaker 6 (01:59):
I thought.

Speaker 8 (01:59):
I don't know.

Speaker 9 (02:00):
I thought maybe she had corns and she I know
she documented on her Instagram.

Speaker 1 (02:24):
Got to get it together, guys. I gotta get this
corn removed. Okay, All right, Well we're gonna shine a
light on them. That's what you do, and say something positive.
I was talking about this over the weekend, shining a
light on anybody that did something that really has been
you know, maybe brightened up your day, something really nice,
something you saw on the news. It doesn't have to
be in real life to you. It could be something

(02:46):
that you you watched happen. And we want to make
sure that we show some love. Eight fifty shine a
light on them. It's way up at the Angela Ye.

Speaker 4 (02:55):
Turn your lights on y'all, spreading love to those who
are doing greatness. It's time to shine a light on them.

Speaker 7 (03:07):
Yes, it is way up with Angela Yee.

Speaker 1 (03:08):
I'm Angela Yee, and Mano is here, and Jasmine from
the Jasmine brand is here, and you know Monday Happy Monday,
and it's a great time to start with some positivity
and shine a light on somebody.

Speaker 7 (03:19):
So I want to shine a light on Greg.

Speaker 1 (03:21):
He actually owns the pizza shop next door to the
Juice Bar, which has been closed now for a couple
of months as we're trying to figure out moving forward
to transform that space. But he actually is the person
that really helps out a lot when things need to
get done if I'm not there, just making sure we're good.
So this morning here already called me to let me
know about something that happened with the property.

Speaker 7 (03:41):
So he's been helping take care of that. That's really helpful.

Speaker 1 (03:46):
Yes, yeah, he's right on Malcolm X, Malcolm X and
McDonough on the corner. If you go to that pizza
place right next to Juices for Life, he's yes, we
love that pizza.

Speaker 8 (03:58):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (03:59):
You know, often I'm like, okay, let me get everybody
pizza at the Juice Bar.

Speaker 7 (04:03):
We do that all the time. But yeah, so thank
you so much. Greg. That's really helpful.

Speaker 1 (04:07):
When you have neighbors that are actually looking out for
you and looking out for your property, it makes all
the difference because you can have terrible neighbors terrible tenants,
terrible landlord, or you can have really great ones, and
so Greg is a great one.

Speaker 8 (04:20):
Thank you Greg.

Speaker 1 (04:21):
All right, Well, who do you want to shine a
light on? Eight hundred two ninety fifty one fifty Maybe
somebody made your life a little easier, or maybe you
saw somebody doing something that is greatness.

Speaker 7 (04:30):
What's up, mellow?

Speaker 10 (04:31):
What easy?

Speaker 6 (04:32):
Are you feeling good?

Speaker 7 (04:33):
How are you who you want to shine a light on?

Speaker 10 (04:35):
I want to shine a light on you because every
time we see you in the media, you always take
break the Instagram like every time I can't scold down
my feed. But I'll show you. I say congratulations and
give you your flowers while you just still smell on
you from me. I hate everything you do for the world.

Speaker 7 (04:50):
I feel like I've been so quiet on Instagram.

Speaker 10 (04:53):
Yeah, but your accomplishent tire. That's right.

Speaker 1 (04:55):
You make me big dog big yee, Thank you, mellow,
big not the little one.

Speaker 2 (05:01):

Speaker 10 (05:13):
Anytime I'm gonna tap in more, I got you guys.

Speaker 7 (05:15):
Okay, thanks Tiana? Who you want to shine a light
on I would love to.

Speaker 11 (05:21):
Sign the light on my shelf just my last day.
I've been in the Navy almost ten years now, I'm
finally taking an opportunity to bet on myself.

Speaker 12 (05:30):
Yes, walking away.

Speaker 5 (05:32):
From my career.

Speaker 11 (05:34):
Yeah, actually two years and that's a long time. But
I'm excited if you wear it.

Speaker 7 (05:38):
You said you've been in the navy for ten years.

Speaker 11 (05:40):
I've been in the Navy for ten years. Actually a
business owner, so I've really like listening. Said it's me
and you guys as well, because I have an adult
story as well, e common story, so adult.

Speaker 13 (05:54):
You know, it's time for me to.

Speaker 5 (05:55):
Actually do.

Speaker 11 (05:58):
At adults. So I'm across a suction. So I'm just
excited to actually do, like I said, bet on myself.

Speaker 1 (06:12):
You said visual seduction, Oh, sensual, Okay.

Speaker 6 (06:17):
That's the store.

Speaker 7 (06:18):
Yeah, that's all right because we want to look for it.
We want to make sure people could find it. Lingerie, yeah,
and going, well, but it's.

Speaker 10 (06:32):
A l.

Speaker 7 (06:35):
Seduction.

Speaker 6 (06:36):
Oh with the X.

Speaker 1 (06:38):
Okay, seduction with the X man. What's your favorite type
of lingerie on a woman skin?

Speaker 6 (06:46):
You don't going to wrap the package come with that on?

Speaker 14 (06:51):
Well?

Speaker 7 (06:51):
Thank you, thank you.

Speaker 1 (06:52):
And we're gonna we're in your corner. Okay, as you
start your business, keep us updated.

Speaker 5 (06:56):
All right, I appreciate it, thank you.

Speaker 1 (06:58):
All right, Well that was shining light on I'm brought
to you by Born in Roma by Valentino, which is
available at Macy's. And you know we do that every
single morning. That's how we start the show. Eight hundred
two ninet two fifty one fifty. And when we come back,
we have a ye t. Adidas is being sued by
shareholders and it's all because of Kanye.

Speaker 7 (07:16):
We'll tell you what that's about. It's way up at Angela.

Speaker 4 (07:18):
Yee, they says truth in the rooms from industry shade
to all the gossips out angelas spieling that eyeto.

Speaker 1 (07:27):
All right, it's way up at Angela Yee on a
Monday Jasmine from the Jasmin brand dot com where our
work and maino.

Speaker 6 (07:33):
I'm back is here.

Speaker 1 (07:35):
Adida's shareholders have filed a class action lawsuit against the brand.

Speaker 7 (07:40):
They're saying that they did not warn.

Speaker 1 (07:42):
Investors about the anti semitism and extreme behavior exhibited by
Kanye West before their partnership ended last year, and the
lawsuit and that lawsuit was filed on Friday, by the Way.

Speaker 7 (07:52):
In the federal court.

Speaker 1 (07:53):
Shareholders allege that Adidas routinely ignored his behavior as early
as twenty eighteen, and that senior execs ignored serious issues
that affected the Easy partnership, which were his anti Semitic
remarks and troubling public comments about slavery. So, they said
in a report from that year, Adidas was generally alluding
to the risk rather than stating that the company had
actually considered ending the partnership as a result of Kanye's

(08:17):
personal behavior, and they're saying that. Add the lassuit also
said Adidas was aware and failed to take a meaningful
precautionary measures, so.

Speaker 8 (08:25):
They should have been warned, right, basically what they're saying.

Speaker 1 (08:28):
Yes, now, Adidas made a comment to CNN. They said,
we outright reject these unfounded claims and will take on
necessary measures to vigorously defend ourselves against them. The problem
when you have a company is when you have shareholders,
you do have to answer to them and you have
a responsibility to them. So all right, Jermaine Dupree, he
was on Tamman Hall and he was talking about Freaknick.

(08:50):
Everybody is going crazy about this Freaknick documentary, and some
people are nervous that some of their escapades will be
featured on this documentary. Well, here's what you made do,
Pretel Tamman Hall.

Speaker 15 (09:03):
It's really a story about the South in Atlanta. It's
not really a story about whatever you keeps talking about.
I don't like that part because I feel like it's
a little disrespectful because I'm just telling a story, right,
and how Atlanta was built into the place that it
is today. People came to Atlanta through Freaknick and they stayed.

Speaker 7 (09:21):
So this is a big deal because you were clearing
this up. This is not about this wild party.

Speaker 6 (09:27):
I can't say that you won't seem freaking.

Speaker 7 (09:32):
It's gonna be some freaking and Freaknick of course, But
I get what he's saying. He's saying it's not just
solely about that, right, It's not like Girls Gone Wild.

Speaker 6 (09:40):
It's the storyline.

Speaker 9 (09:41):
Yes, so he clips over this weekend that kind of
reminiscent of Freaknick that was going on around.

Speaker 7 (09:46):
Us again, Yes, okay, that in none of those Yeah,
well I'll send them to you later, all right.

Speaker 1 (09:51):
The Bamboozo Festival was supposed to be happening featuring performances
from Rick Ross, Koi Larey and others, has been canceled.
It was canceled one week before returning after an eleven
year hiatus, so it was supposed to be going down,
but they announced that it was canceled on Friday. Actually,
Joey Badass was supposed to be there, Trippy Read a

(10:12):
Boogie with the Hookie Hoodie, all of those people. But apparently,
I guess there were some decisions that had to do
with permits. According to NJ dot com New Jersey dot Com,
they did not file the necessary paperwork for final permits,
and there was an ongoing concern, according to a city
business administrator, that they were not getting those documents from
festival organizers in a timely matter. They said, we asked

(10:35):
for this information months in advance to protect the city
and the taxpayers of Atlantic City. The event was fast
approaching and these issues were still unresolved, so people had
to get their money back.

Speaker 8 (10:43):
I've never heard of this festival before.

Speaker 1 (10:45):
Well, it's been off for eleven years and it was
supposed to come back over the weekend and it just
didn't happen.

Speaker 6 (10:51):
Yeah, that's why you never heard. You don't remember the
past eleven years.

Speaker 8 (10:55):
That's true.

Speaker 6 (10:56):
Memory does not go that fall all.

Speaker 7 (10:58):
Right now, Stephen A.

Speaker 1 (10:59):
Smith has shared his thoughts on how ema Udoka handled
the whole scandal of him cheating on Nia Long. And
here's what he had to say about ema Udoka not
even apologizing to nia You didn't have to.

Speaker 3 (11:11):
Do it that way, but to have a press conference
and put his business tasily or otherwise on front street.
You didn't think about Nia Long at all, but you
thought about the other woman who purportedly was white. And
the one woman in this equation who was innocent and
victim Oge was not the woman Email.

Speaker 6 (11:32):
Udoka was messing around with.

Speaker 14 (11:33):
It was Leia Long.

Speaker 2 (11:35):
She was the one screwed over.

Speaker 8 (11:38):
I love how he be yelling.

Speaker 7 (11:39):
He gets so passionate. And Nialong thanked Stephen A.

Speaker 1 (11:43):
Smith for his support and then she posted the most
disrespected person in America is the black woman. Welcome x Okay,
all right, well that is your yet And when we
come back, we have about last night and it was
a very active weekend for all of us. It's way
up with Angela yee yes nice.

Speaker 2 (11:58):
So about last night last night, I went down.

Speaker 1 (12:04):
Yes, it is way up with Angela Ye. I'm Angela Yee,
and Jasmine from the Jasmine brand is here.

Speaker 7 (12:09):
Maino is in.

Speaker 1 (12:11):
What was your weekends like? While we talked about about
last night, this is what we did the night before.

Speaker 6 (12:15):
Yeah, so we had a big nice brunch weekend over
at the Chelsea House.

Speaker 7 (12:21):
We weren't invited again, definitely invited.

Speaker 6 (12:23):
No, but we gotta we gotta honor you to get
you over there'n get trophy, a medal, you know, one
of those red, white and blue medals, bronze medal.

Speaker 1 (12:33):
Chelsea House award. Yeah, all right, that's nice. I actually
did get honor this weekend. I bet you every week
every weekend topic guys. It was actually in my high
school poly Prep in Brooklyn.

Speaker 7 (12:45):
Ever been there?

Speaker 1 (12:46):
May, No, you're from Brooklyn. It's really really far out
in Brooklyn. It's right by Staten Island.

Speaker 6 (12:56):
I had no Benis over there.

Speaker 1 (12:58):
Yes, So it was a reunion weekend. And then I
was actually got the an alumni award.

Speaker 6 (13:04):
Right, they should be proud of you.

Speaker 8 (13:05):
Yeah, that's a big deal.

Speaker 1 (13:07):
And the person actually when they presented the award, the
main thing was they were saying they were on the
bus because the way that poly Prep works is a
lot of people don't live near there, so sometimes we
had a very long bus ride. I'm from a neighborhood
called flat Bush, so going a bay Ridge is really
for It would be like an hour on the Oh
on the bus, Yes, and it's way further on a bus.

Speaker 7 (13:26):
That stops multiple stops. It goes out of the way.

Speaker 1 (13:30):
They said they were on the bus one day listening
to the Breakfast Club and they heard me talk about
poly Prep.

Speaker 7 (13:36):
And they were like, what's nice you went to poly Prep.

Speaker 1 (13:38):
It's exciting when you think about who went to your
school and graduated.

Speaker 6 (13:42):
So you are a success story.

Speaker 1 (13:45):
Yeah, and there were a lot of success stories other
people that got on. It actually felt like I wasn't
doing enough.

Speaker 8 (13:50):
Really, Oh, Angela stopping for real one.

Speaker 7 (13:52):
I wrote ten books.

Speaker 8 (13:53):
I was like, well, you write for the Jazzmine brand.

Speaker 1 (13:56):
I write for the Jazzmon Brandyes, so Marcus, and he's
from my class too. He got honored and he studied
like the first healthcare fund for black people.

Speaker 6 (14:05):
It was like a lot.

Speaker 7 (14:06):
I was like, okay, well I houst the show.

Speaker 6 (14:11):
Yes deal Touched you touched. A lot of loves went up.

Speaker 7 (14:15):
With Angela ye. Now, Jasmine, you were in DC and
I know it was a huge weekend in DC.

Speaker 8 (14:20):
Yeah, it was a huge weekend.

Speaker 9 (14:21):
I went to the Correspondence for the culture event and
they honored uh Roywood Junior, which you know, he hosted
the White House Correspondence dinner, which we'll talk about shortly.

Speaker 8 (14:30):
Yeah, we got to talk about that. So there were
a lot of celebs in the building.

Speaker 9 (14:33):
There was Wendy from Real Housewives of Potomac, Don Lemon,
also Correne Jean Pierre, who is the White.

Speaker 8 (14:41):
House Press Secretary. It was a lot of in It
was just a lot of people there.

Speaker 9 (14:44):
And shout out to Erica Lowe who is the White
House Director of African Media.

Speaker 7 (14:49):
Okay, so I had a great everything she does and.

Speaker 9 (14:52):
I met her for you, Angela, but she We had
a great time. It was lots of black professionals in
politics partying and you know, they drinking, they.

Speaker 7 (14:59):
Get a little wow, they get a little loose a
little while.

Speaker 1 (15:01):
Yes, but Roywood Junior actually did the uh he was
the host for the Correspondence dinner and you know that's
always a time.

Speaker 8 (15:08):
So he was there the night before at this party
and everyone was coming up. He was super cool too.

Speaker 7 (15:12):
Yeah, shout out to I really like him a lot.

Speaker 1 (15:15):
He actually when I did my Master Year comedy show
for Facebook, he was one of the expert comedian mentors
for the up and coming comics.

Speaker 7 (15:24):
All right, well, it looks like we all had a
very active weekend.

Speaker 6 (15:27):
We should have been at Mocha Fest.

Speaker 9 (15:30):
So I just sent up, Well, maybe he had already
saw it right Houston, they were having the time.

Speaker 6 (15:37):
Yeah, pretty exciting.

Speaker 7 (15:38):
It was over the weekend.

Speaker 9 (15:39):
Yea, yeah, it was over the weekend and it was
some how did we miss it? It was very active,
It was very active. All right, Well next year, No,
I know, I'm gonna set that one out. All right, Well,
when we come back, this is Mayno's favorite segment.

Speaker 6 (15:53):
Yes, already, listen, I need people to really call in.
What's your deepest, darkest secrets? Please a man, no no judgment.

Speaker 1 (16:02):
Okay, So people can call in and say whatever they
went to anonymously, by the way, and tell us a secret,
and we're not gonna judge you up here.

Speaker 6 (16:11):
But if you're if you, if you're a legend, then
I will tell you.

Speaker 1 (16:14):
Mato will positively judge you. Yes, if you do something
like but a woman and her mom, Oh my gosh.
Then he then you're a legend according to Mano. All right,
it's way up at the Angela Yee. Tell us a Secret.
Eight hundred nine two fifty one fifty is the number again,
eight hundred nine fifty one fifty when we come back
on way up at the Angela Yee.

Speaker 2 (16:34):
This is a judgment free zone. Tell us a Secret.

Speaker 1 (16:38):
Yes, what's up its way up at the Angela Yee
on a Monday, you know, we do tell Us a Secret. Monday, Wednesday,
and Friday. Those are the days you'll find Mano up here.
So from the judgment, it's accurate. Mano just comes specifically
for this segment.

Speaker 10 (16:52):
With that.

Speaker 9 (16:53):
Sometimes his blood pressure goes up. I check it before
and then I check it after, and there's definitely a job.

Speaker 1 (16:58):
It's so hard for him to not be judgmental. Part
of tell Us a Secret is not being judgmental. And
it can go either way for Mano. Either he's really
for you and you're a legend, or he's against you
and you did something wrong against some type of code.

Speaker 8 (17:11):
Yeah, there's this. It's called Mano code.

Speaker 1 (17:13):
Yeah, Mano is Yeah, he has a different code depending
on who it is. And what the scenario is.

Speaker 6 (17:19):
Yes, I'm just looking for understanding, all right.

Speaker 9 (17:21):
Well, usually if it's a threesome, who you're a legend.
But if it's like if you stole something from somebody,
oh yeah he got morals, it just pops up the
Mano code, pops up the weird times.

Speaker 1 (17:33):
I feel like we're going to learn some of those.
But you know, okay, all right, So eight hundred two
nine two fifty fifty is a number. This is how
you tell us a secret. Remember, it's always anonymous, supposed
to be judgment free, So Jasmine and I will not
judge you. I might ask you some questions to get
the full story, which is not a problem.

Speaker 8 (17:51):
Because Angela does digging.

Speaker 1 (17:52):
She has like, yeah, I don't know the rules, that's
what that's what it is. The rules multiple times, yeah,
I forget them. The only rules are no judgment and
it's anonymous.

Speaker 7 (18:03):
Okay.

Speaker 1 (18:04):
Yeah, So we want people to feel comfortable in telling
us things, even if it's wrong.

Speaker 7 (18:08):
Sometimes they try to get to to agree with them.

Speaker 6 (18:10):
They do.

Speaker 7 (18:10):
You don't need us to do that.

Speaker 8 (18:11):
It's supposed to be a safe space though, right in.

Speaker 6 (18:13):
A safe space, but we just having real talk, all right.

Speaker 7 (18:16):
But let's see how safe it is. Eight fifty is
a number. It's way yup. But angela ye, hello, anonymous
color tell us a secret.

Speaker 13 (18:25):
So this is like maybe ten years ago, I had
sex with my girlfriend auntie and then my girlfriend.

Speaker 7 (18:36):
So wait, wait, wait, the auntie and then the girlfriend
in the same day.

Speaker 1 (18:41):
Uh No.

Speaker 6 (18:41):
It was like what it is?

Speaker 13 (18:43):
So like the girlfriend was acting like she really liked me,
so she wasn't telling me hit like she was like,
oh some oh I'm a verse and all that. But
she was lying and I didn't even know, but I
had an inkling, so I was mad. And then I
met with her auntie and her Auntie was like, how
did you meet up? So I met her auntie to

(19:06):
you know my girlfriend? Okay, I went to see my
girlfriend the one day and I saw, you know, the
auntie and I had you know who days. She's like,
all that's my auntie, Like, oh word, she looked young,
like I was, what fifteen?

Speaker 6 (19:19):
And she was like, so did you stay with your
girlfriend after you hit her? Aunt Nah?

Speaker 1 (19:26):
Tell your girlfriend lied about being a virgin. Yeah, and
you know that because the auntie.

Speaker 6 (19:31):
Told you no.

Speaker 13 (19:32):
Because when I hit the girlfriend leader, I realized she
wasn't like that m O. Iized she wasn't a virgin, my.

Speaker 6 (19:39):
Father, this is a mess.

Speaker 7 (19:40):
He was only sixteen though.

Speaker 8 (19:42):
How was who sex? Did you like better?

Speaker 3 (19:45):
Like?

Speaker 10 (19:45):
I like the.

Speaker 16 (19:48):
Oh? Good?

Speaker 8 (19:48):
Okay, likes appropriate? He's appropriate, you know? Disappointed in that?

Speaker 6 (19:53):
Man, I wouldn't say he's legend. He's not legend.

Speaker 10 (19:56):
Say legend. No, I can't.

Speaker 6 (19:57):
I can't do your legendary status for this, right listen,
let me tell you. In order for you to get
legendary status with this, you would have had to go
back to your girlfriend and then still been doing them.

Speaker 7 (20:10):
Man, No, that's I do.

Speaker 9 (20:14):
Now.

Speaker 6 (20:15):
You said you didn't go back to the girlfriend?

Speaker 13 (20:17):
Brow did H?

Speaker 7 (20:19):
After that?

Speaker 6 (20:20):
He said?

Speaker 7 (20:20):
He after?

Speaker 1 (20:21):
Oh my gosh, Okay, well, thank you for calling. What
level would he be if not legend?

Speaker 8 (20:27):
What comes under legend?

Speaker 6 (20:29):
I mean he's a novice. Because you gotta be able
to it's got to be.

Speaker 14 (20:37):
Doing good.

Speaker 5 (20:37):
How are you? I'm great, I'm great?

Speaker 10 (20:40):
Thanks?

Speaker 7 (20:41):
You ready to tell us a secret?

Speaker 5 (20:44):
Yeah, it's got to be good.

Speaker 7 (20:47):
I could tell you hesitated, it's really not good.

Speaker 5 (20:51):
It's really not good. But I'm kind of like over
it at this point. But so my secret is I
have a little brother with super close, and I just
found out not too long ago that our dead is
in our biological dead. I found out, So I'm not
gonna tell him. I'm just gonna let it be, you know,

(21:11):
But I just that's like one of my.

Speaker 7 (21:13):
Bigger good But how did you find out?

Speaker 8 (21:15):
How she find out?

Speaker 5 (21:16):
The guy wrote me on Facebook? Well, my biologically dead
wrote me on Facebook, and I kind of met up
with him. Did the whole d naps came back like
ninety nine point nine to say it positive? And then
I just left it at that.

Speaker 7 (21:29):
Did you say anything to your mom?

Speaker 5 (21:30):
Are you going to No, I'll probably just believe it
as it is.

Speaker 7 (21:35):
Are you gonna stay in touch with your biological father?

Speaker 5 (21:38):
Am I gonna stay in touch with him?

Speaker 1 (21:39):
Yeah?

Speaker 5 (21:39):
He's cool. He's a fool guy. I just feel like
I'm old enough to handle it. I feel like my
siblings aren't, so I'm probably just not gonna deal let
them deal with it. I'll just, you know, deal with
it on my ends.

Speaker 8 (21:50):
Do you know for sure that that's your brother's biological
dad too?

Speaker 10 (21:54):
You know what?

Speaker 5 (21:55):
I don't. I don't.

Speaker 8 (21:57):
It's that's good.

Speaker 6 (22:01):
Did he tell you why he wasn't around.

Speaker 5 (22:03):
Yeah, you told me my mom freaking bat now up
and they just kind of happened, and I moved to
South Carolina and stay of Florida, and he just he
just shouldn't leave it alone. Like I'm older than you,

(22:24):
might be.

Speaker 1 (22:24):
The only might be the only one that that don't
have the same father, and they right, yes, it's probably
just you.

Speaker 13 (22:32):
I don't know.

Speaker 11 (22:34):
Who.

Speaker 5 (22:34):
I don't know who knows.

Speaker 7 (22:36):
Are you mad at your mom at all in any way?
Or do you understand it's like a one night stand?

Speaker 12 (22:40):
Oh no, I'm mad, Okay, I am, I say that.

Speaker 1 (22:46):
Okay, all right, Well, you know it sounds like a lot,
so I hope that you handle it however you need
to handle it for yourself.

Speaker 5 (22:54):
I will, I will thank and I do want to
do a shout out to my girl, ash.

Speaker 7 (22:59):
I love you, all right, ash Hey, ashy hash.

Speaker 1 (23:03):
That's so funny because you know, this happened to one
of my friends. She found out that her father was
not her biological dad, and then she found her biological dad.

Speaker 16 (23:10):
Oh wow.

Speaker 6 (23:11):
Yeah, she was mad at her mother.

Speaker 7 (23:13):
Yeah, but she hasn't said anything to her still.

Speaker 1 (23:15):
In her case, her mother had a one nice stand
and frequently right, Yeah, so the other the other kids
are the.

Speaker 8 (23:21):
Other fall yeah it yeah, yeah, it sounds.

Speaker 1 (23:23):
Like she's the only one that didn't really but still
you know she kind of mad. Why would you be
mad at mom?

Speaker 6 (23:28):
Mom had to Mama need love to because she want
to know where her dad is. Lady Mama didn't really know?
All right?

Speaker 1 (23:35):
All right, Well that was your tell us a secret again,
always anonymous, always no judgment. Thank you for sharing eight
hundred two ninety two fifty one fifty in case you
couldn't get through. And when we come back, we have
ye t we'll be talking about the Correspondence Center that
Roywood Junior hosted, and we'll tell you about the roast.

Speaker 7 (23:51):
We'll tell you what Joe Biden had to say as well.

Speaker 2 (23:54):
Oh she's about to blow the lid ab off this
five just get it.

Speaker 4 (23:56):
Oh yeah, angelus feeling that yee te Come.

Speaker 2 (23:59):
And get the tea.

Speaker 1 (24:01):
Yes it is way yep, but Angela yee I, Angela
yee and Jasmine from the Jasmine brand is here.

Speaker 7 (24:05):
And Maya, why are you looking like that?

Speaker 6 (24:07):
Happy?

Speaker 17 (24:08):
Yeah?

Speaker 6 (24:09):
Radiating?

Speaker 7 (24:09):
You were radiating on a Monday?

Speaker 6 (24:11):
Yeah, man, okay, main ovation.

Speaker 1 (24:14):
Main ovation, Monday, Mainnovations yeah, all right, and we are
doing yeet and we're gonna talk about the Correspondent's Dinner
that happened over the weekend. Jasmine, you were in DC
over the weekend too, You went to like the pre events.

Speaker 9 (24:26):
I went to the pre party and it was very
uh mixy and active and black politicals were dancing and
drinking and having a festive time the White House. The
White House Press Secretary was on the dance floor. You
can see a clip of her like getting her entire
life okay at this party.

Speaker 7 (24:43):
That sounds like fun. We'd like to see you out
of their elements.

Speaker 8 (24:45):
She wasn't working, but she's having She was having a time,
all right.

Speaker 1 (24:49):
Well Joe Biden, of course, Well not of course, because
sometimes the presidents don't even show up to the Correspondence Center. Yeah,
there's been times, but Joe Biden was their front and center.
And here's what he had to say. Because people always
have things when they remark about his age and so
on and so forth, but here's Joe Biden.

Speaker 16 (25:09):
You might think I don't like Ruver Murdoch. That's simply
not true. How could it? Just like a guy who
makes me look like Harry Styles.

Speaker 2 (25:18):
Call me on.

Speaker 18 (25:20):
I call it being seasons, your same ancient, my same wise,
it's same.

Speaker 6 (25:26):
Over the hill.

Speaker 16 (25:28):
Don Lemon would say that's a man that was fring.

Speaker 8 (25:31):
Oh that was funny. I didn't like that one.

Speaker 7 (25:33):
You know, it's not like somebody clearly a comedian wrote that.

Speaker 8 (25:35):
Yeah, of course, I know. I made it. Looked at
people that like, uh, not funny.

Speaker 1 (25:40):
Well, here's somewhere of Joe Biden's stand up as he
addresses Marjorie Tailor Green folks just wonder will be.

Speaker 18 (25:46):
Back here again, proving I haven't learned a damn thing.
I want everyone to have fun tonight, but please be safe.
If you find yourself disoriented or confuse, it's either your
drunk or Marjorie Taylor greed.

Speaker 7 (26:03):
That's funny.

Speaker 1 (26:04):
Yes, And you know when I was saying that the
presidents didn't always go Donald Trump didn't go to the
correspondence and if you guys recall that, and it was
the first time that the president skipped it in thirty
six years.

Speaker 8 (26:14):
Wow, I remember Obama used to be really funny.

Speaker 7 (26:17):
Yeah, of course, yeah, charismatic and funny.

Speaker 1 (26:20):
All right, bro Roywood Junior was hosting He is hilarious,
he is and He did say some things that people
thought were controversial too. But here's what he had to
say about Joe Biden running for a reelection.

Speaker 6 (26:30):
We should be inspired by the events in France.

Speaker 19 (26:33):
They rioted when the retirement age went up two years
to sixty four. Meanwhile, in America, we have an eighty
year old man begging us for four more years of work.
Let me finish your job.

Speaker 6 (26:47):
That's not a campaign slogan. That's a pleat. That's funny.

Speaker 1 (26:52):
I mean, no, Rodwood Junior is so funny. We have
more from him, yes, okay. And here's what he had
to say, and people were this went viral. He was
about Kamala Harris and how people are so critical of
her being the first black woman as our vice president.

Speaker 19 (27:05):
But I think the most insulting scandal to fall to
the feet of the Biden administration was placed at the
feet of our madam vice president. The scandal of what
does Kamala do? That's a disrespectful question because nobody ever
asked that question of the vice president until a woman
got the job.

Speaker 6 (27:24):
I don't know what Mike Pnis did. The only thing
I know about Mike Pens is that he's really good
at playing hide and Seek at the Capitol.

Speaker 8 (27:31):
Yeah, that was good, Okay, I love him supporting a
black woman.

Speaker 1 (27:34):
Argu like that, and listen, I saw a lot of
people weighing in on that too, because the job of
the vice president has never been to be like front
and center. That's the president's job, right. The vice president
normally is plays the background and whatever the president appoints
you to do, that's your responsibility. But it's not that
she's not working, and it's not. This whole administration is not.

(27:56):
Where can people act like what have they done? And
all you have to do is go look on the
website and then let you know when you go look
at white House dot gov. All right, now, let's talk
about some more things. For real, had his something in
the water festival. They actually had to cancel the last day.
The weather was really bad.

Speaker 6 (28:13):
It was bad.

Speaker 7 (28:14):
I think.

Speaker 1 (28:16):
In New York it was really bad too. But there
were a lot of surprise guests that showed up. Diddy
was there, Chris Brown, it was already very lively at
his festival. But Coyla Ray was there and she definitely
went on stage and lost the Yeah, Buster Rides was there.
Who may know recently sampled, Yeah, vibe with me, Yeah,

(28:37):
vibe with me.

Speaker 7 (28:38):
You know what I'm saying. M i A was there.

Speaker 1 (28:39):
She she performed asap, Rocky performed so really great. I
haven't been to something in the Water yet.

Speaker 9 (28:46):
I haven't, but I feel like there's always some kind
of storm going on when it's something in the Water
or a Broccoli fest or something.

Speaker 8 (28:51):
It's like always those festivals have like weather issues. But
this was just a third day, so.

Speaker 1 (28:56):
Yeah, day last Soul was there. Oh, you know, a
lot going on than in the Water. And he's got
a lot of different categories of music.

Speaker 8 (29:03):
People love for Reales. I'm not surprised he brings people
out like that.

Speaker 7 (29:06):
My guy now Rajer's and Chic.

Speaker 1 (29:08):
They perform, Wile YACHTI, Third Eye Blind, Jonas Brothers, a
whole lot Flow, Millie Machine Gun, Kelly lil Uzi, vert Lado.

Speaker 6 (29:16):
All of that.

Speaker 1 (29:17):
All right, It is way up with Angela Yee. That
is your yet And when we come back, we have
under the Radar. These are stories that fly under the radar.
They may not be headline news stories, but we do
feel like they're quite interesting and you should know them.
And these are pretty funny today it's way up at
Angela Yee.

Speaker 4 (29:32):
It's the news news in the news that relates to you.
These stories are flying under the radar.

Speaker 1 (29:39):
Yes, it's way up at Angela Yee. I'm Angela Yee
and Mano is here Monday mainnovation movations, Jasmine from the
Jasmine brand is here and we are doing under the radar.
These are stories that are not necessarily headline news stories. Now,
one thing we want to talk about is airlines. What
is the worst airline in the United States? They do
this study every year and they take the eleven biggest

(30:01):
airlines and see how they rank, and they rank them
according to delays, if people are denied boarding, also the cost,
and then you get a total score from those things.
Right last on the list out of all of these
and some of these airlines I've never heard of, but
this one I have is Southwest Airlines.

Speaker 6 (30:21):
The worst.

Speaker 7 (30:22):
That is the worst. It got a twenty three out
of one hundred, and that was the score.

Speaker 1 (30:26):
That's the second year in a row, by the way,
that's been the worst airline in the United States.

Speaker 6 (30:30):
And they don't even get your seat.

Speaker 8 (30:32):
That's why people like it though.

Speaker 7 (30:34):
So what it was and that's very panicky, having to
like try to rush for a seat.

Speaker 8 (30:38):
And you got to stand in a line and stuff.

Speaker 7 (30:39):
You don't know where you're going to end up.

Speaker 1 (30:41):
One person said the seats were like rocks, and their
return flights were delayed, forcing them to wait six hours
for their flight to Orlando. But some people did say
they had good experiences. I don't like us all We're
going to get to that. Number ten's Frontier, all right.
Number nine is American. They did well in comfort related
categories like leg room, entertainment options, complimentary refreshments, but in

(31:04):
terms of animal related incidents like loss, injured or dead
animals transported.

Speaker 7 (31:09):
That was relatively high.

Speaker 1 (31:11):
Wow, all right, And they said one passenger who flew
had a negative experience, writing that his suitcase was damaged
and he wasn't compensated for it. But other people did
say they were great deep discounts on their flights. Envoy
Airlines was number eight. I never flew that, never heard
of it. Yeah, it's a regional carrier for American and
it operates only business jets, all right now. Also on

(31:31):
the list at number seven was Jet Blue. People love Yeah,
people like Jetblo surprise. Sorry, Seven out of eleven. Yeah,
so they scored very well in comfort related categories.

Speaker 8 (31:42):
But what was the low scores for Jet Blue?

Speaker 1 (31:45):
They are low scores. They had actually zero delays out
of eighteen. But for as far as denied boardings, that's
where they really did.

Speaker 8 (31:52):
Not become up late price price.

Speaker 1 (31:56):
Also, all right, Hawaiian Airlines was number six on the list.
Alaska Lines was number five. Number four was United.

Speaker 8 (32:02):
That's a you don't like that one right now?

Speaker 6 (32:05):
In the US. US is different than.

Speaker 7 (32:09):
See that on here.

Speaker 8 (32:10):
Do they exist?

Speaker 6 (32:10):
That's how bad they was.

Speaker 7 (32:12):
They didn't get merged or something.

Speaker 6 (32:13):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (32:14):
Yeah, Number three is sky West number two with Spirit,
which I know y'all didn't anticipate.

Speaker 6 (32:19):
That Spirit is better than Jet Blue, I think.

Speaker 1 (32:23):
When you take into account the pricing, yeah, you know,
that's probably what really helped them score high.

Speaker 7 (32:29):
And number one on the list Delta Delta.

Speaker 6 (32:33):
Yeah, that's right.

Speaker 1 (32:34):
I am a Diamond Medallion member on Delta, so I
do Delta all the time. Yeah, and that's the second
year in a row that Delta has been number one.

Speaker 8 (32:41):
What's your favorite airline?

Speaker 6 (32:43):
You know, just get me where I need to go. Airline?

Speaker 1 (32:47):
You don't care, you know, I don't I'm not getting
on like spirit or let's you should I should right
line as well, right.

Speaker 7 (32:58):
Spirit, like so are you sir?

Speaker 5 (33:02):
Yeah?

Speaker 6 (33:03):
All right.

Speaker 1 (33:03):
A woman had a loud and full body orgasm during
the La Philharmonic concerts. Several concert goers witnessed this. They
said it was from the balcony at the packed Walt
Disney Concert Hall. Everyone turned to see what was happening.
It was so loud that the orchestra even stopped.

Speaker 8 (33:19):
I heard the audio of it. It sounded like an organ.

Speaker 7 (33:21):
We can't play it, we're not allowed.

Speaker 18 (33:22):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (33:23):
Yeah, But some people thought that woman was having a
medical emergency, and apparently that's not it. She basically had
an orgasm, so she loves the Philharmonic that much that
that's what happened.

Speaker 7 (33:35):
They said.

Speaker 1 (33:35):
It was an expression of joy that was rather wonderful
and refreshing. It's sort of a classical musical equivalent of
that scene in a movie where someone is talking loudly
in a party or a nightclub and the record suddenly
stops and they say something that everyone hears. So they
have not been able to identify her, and they did not.
The Philharmonic did not immediately respond to her request for

(33:57):
a comment, but some.

Speaker 7 (33:58):
People thought it was great.

Speaker 8 (33:59):
Okay, bring it on.

Speaker 1 (34:01):
Yeah, all right, well that is your under the radar
stories and when we come back, we do have the
Way Up Mixed coming at the top of the hour
on a Monday to get your week started right. Also,
ask yee is today eight hundred two nine fifty one
fifty is the number?

Speaker 7 (34:14):
Start calling us up so we can help you out.
It's way up at Angela Ye.

Speaker 1 (34:18):
She's like to talk like they Angela Jean, like they
Angela Gee.

Speaker 2 (34:22):
Man, she's spilling it all. This is yet way up.

Speaker 7 (34:28):
Yes, it's way up at the Angela Yee. I'm Angela Yee.

Speaker 1 (34:30):
Jasmine from the Jasmine brand is here and Mano isn't
there now, Jasmine, you weren't here on Friday when Mano
and I were obsessed with watching some of these pimple poppings.

Speaker 8 (34:38):
Oh, I'm so glad I missed that and I am.

Speaker 1 (34:41):
Obsessed with that. That's why doctor pimple Popper is good.
That's doctor Sangelee. Her procedures are so incredible to watch.
She li, yes, that we are, you know, I love it.

Speaker 7 (34:54):
Yeah, So we're going to talk about that in.

Speaker 19 (34:55):
A little while.

Speaker 8 (34:56):
Not looking forward to it okay, all right, but.

Speaker 7 (34:58):
Right now let's get into some of the it's yet.

Speaker 1 (35:01):
First, we got to congratulate Derek and Monique from Life
After lock Up. We all interviewed them up here. You know,
I love that show. They're like my favorite couple on there.
Here's what they said when they were up here, regardless of.

Speaker 8 (35:13):
The whatever the war. Now, are you all interested in
having children? Are you open to that?

Speaker 16 (35:18):
Having kids?

Speaker 6 (35:19):
Always?

Speaker 7 (35:19):
We talked about it all the way, We want to
have kids for show?

Speaker 8 (35:22):
What about marriage?

Speaker 6 (35:23):
He got that ring? Baby?

Speaker 1 (35:26):
If you watch the show, you can see when he
was trying to hide the ring. But then she was
going through his.

Speaker 6 (35:30):
Phone while and they are he was trying to hide
the ring. Oh, you want to surprise him, But she was.

Speaker 7 (35:37):
Going through his phone while he was hiding the ring,
saw it.

Speaker 17 (35:41):
Wow.

Speaker 7 (35:41):
No, she didn't see the ring. She just saw what
was in his phone, which was not good.

Speaker 1 (35:44):
Yeah, the whole family did an intervention because he still
appears to be stepping out.

Speaker 6 (35:49):
So this is after he was here.

Speaker 9 (35:50):
Yes, Angela, I'm going to work on getting you an
invitation to the wedding. Okay, work on that, tell should
be easy. And she went Telfard here he really wants
to dress.

Speaker 1 (35:59):
Monique also ooh, some toll for our gear, but she
posted this day was a very special day to us.
February nineteen, twenty twenty three. This was our three year anniversary, Derek,
thank you for loving me unconditionally. This has been a
roller coaster ride. We let the world in to witness
our love story, our crazy ups and downs, and throughout
it all we stood strong and always put each other first.

Speaker 7 (36:19):
So they're engaged.

Speaker 8 (36:20):
Congratulations.

Speaker 7 (36:21):
So then they's been in the rest of.

Speaker 6 (36:22):
Their life together.

Speaker 7 (36:23):
So that was on the season finale and before a
couple times.

Speaker 8 (36:29):
About four times at four times.

Speaker 2 (36:31):
All right.

Speaker 1 (36:32):
Rick Ross's neighbors are trying to prevent him from having
his car show. They have filed a petition against that.
You know, we had a car show on the grounds
of his mansion in Georgia. At least six thousand people came,
and now he's going to do it again, and the
neighbors say they have petitions. They said our quality of
life was unnecessarily compromised. That's because last year's event brought

(36:54):
traffic in the area to a stop and caused major
delays for residences.

Speaker 6 (37:00):
Let him have his call show.

Speaker 9 (37:01):
Well, if it disrupts them, maybe he could go and
talk to them and maybe invite them or maybe send
them somewhere for the weekend.

Speaker 7 (37:08):
You know, what's a good idea. And this is what
they've done in the past.

Speaker 1 (37:10):
Like if you go to these events, they have a
place where you can park so you don't drive up,
and then they have a shuttle bus that drops people off.

Speaker 6 (37:16):
That's good in La.

Speaker 1 (37:18):
Yeah, they do that in LA all the time, so
that you don't disturb the neighbors. And that might be
a good compromise. Have them meet at a location where
you get on the shuttle. On the shuttle and brings
you there and back. So Rick Ross just giving you
a suggestion.

Speaker 8 (37:30):
Angela, I'm so hungry right now, don't you worry out
or to some pizza? Okay?

Speaker 7 (37:35):
All right?

Speaker 1 (37:35):
And rich the Kid there's a lawsuit and that's over
an alleged thirty five thousand dollars pregnancy hush money plot.
There's court documents obtained by Radar Online. An anonymous women
who filed under the name Jane Doe, made her claim
in court. This was in Massachusetts. She says that Rich
the Kid sexually assaulted her in January and prevented her

(37:55):
from leaving the hotel room where they were having non
consensual sex, and she managed to get free, she claims,
And she says that rich the kid allegedly went back
to her home where they had more sex, but this time,
according to the lawsuit, the sex was consensual that resulted
in a pregnancy, which both Jane Doe and the rapper
agreed to terminate.

Speaker 7 (38:13):
But she alleges that he.

Speaker 1 (38:14):
Agreed to pay her thirty five thousand dollars to keep quiet,
but he only paid ten thousand so far, she alleges,
so he still owes twenty five thousand dollars.

Speaker 7 (38:22):
That's why she is filing this lawsuit.

Speaker 8 (38:25):
Lots of twists and turns in this story.

Speaker 6 (38:27):
Was he supposed to have it by a particular time?

Speaker 1 (38:29):
I don't know what the agreement was, but maybe she
feels like, you know, running my bread. So these are
court documents. Again, these are just allegations, so we will

that I go to in Brooklyn, Florida, Lise fl e
u r elease. These sisters own it and they have
great videos on their page and I always look at
over and over of them popping pimples, and then obviously
doctor pimple Popper is popular.

Speaker 6 (39:19):
I guess dust comes out.

Speaker 8 (39:20):
No, No, it's not puss. It's like dirt. I guess
like dirt.

Speaker 6 (39:23):
You got a dirty hole.

Speaker 8 (39:24):
I got dirty hole in your back.

Speaker 6 (39:26):
Dirty hole.

Speaker 8 (39:27):
It's really tiny, and whoever I deal with has.

Speaker 7 (39:29):
To Can we see it?

Speaker 8 (39:30):
You can see it on the break.

Speaker 6 (39:31):
I'm good. I don't want to see a dirty hole.

Speaker 8 (39:33):
You have it on you do?

Speaker 7 (39:34):
You said you have it on your head.

Speaker 9 (39:35):
So I have a small hole on the side of
my face. You really can't see, but I can show
it to you. It's really really tiny. And then I
and I have a tiny one on my back.

Speaker 7 (39:42):
Send it's affected.

Speaker 8 (39:45):
I think so. Yeah, I thought you were looking for
somebody to go.

Speaker 7 (39:49):
I don't want to get your tools out, man, but.

Speaker 6 (39:52):
I can't do nothing with that.

Speaker 8 (39:53):
Mano looks so disgusted.

Speaker 6 (39:54):
But here's the thing. I need you to have black hands.

Speaker 9 (39:57):
I would just like to tell you all morning. Mano
has been w making me watch all these discussion videos.
Look at that and as soon as I tell him,
may know I have a dirty hole.

Speaker 8 (40:05):
On in my back.

Speaker 1 (40:06):
Nothing his face is talking about the dirty yeah wow,
put me in a bubble. Well anyway, so have you
ever dated somebody and actually popped their pimples?

Speaker 6 (40:20):
I listen, I'm gona be honest with you. I'm so
inspired by doctor. I will pop anybody like with the.

Speaker 7 (40:26):
With the tools, but not with your bare hands.

Speaker 1 (40:29):
No, knock the hands with some gloves on. I'll walk
up to anybody ninth Avenue, eighth Avenue, I don't care, like.

Speaker 7 (40:35):
On ninth Avenue Avenue.

Speaker 6 (40:38):
Yeah, yeah, anybody, Oh my god, just pull over real quick.

Speaker 1 (40:42):
It looks like you need help. Yeah, because that is
something when you look at somebody you're like, need help.
All right, And by the way, you gotta do a
deep dive into actually how to pop these pimples, right,
that's my deep divels.

Speaker 8 (40:56):
Wait a minute, what was that?

Speaker 7 (40:57):
It's my deep dive. It's the thing, all right.

Speaker 1 (41:03):
And they tell you not to pop a pimple, and
I used to like play with my face all the
time and do things.

Speaker 8 (41:08):
Yet marks like, yeah, you're.

Speaker 7 (41:09):
Not supposed to do that. You could get mark, you
can get an infection, and all of those things.

Speaker 1 (41:13):
Mano has to sanitize, yea tools he has gloves to Yeah,
you do have to sanitize those tools.

Speaker 6 (41:18):
Also run a little hot water on them.

Speaker 7 (41:21):
That's not sanitizing.

Speaker 6 (41:24):
Brand new. I have not used them, and I want
to use.

Speaker 8 (41:28):
I've watched the show Angela. Have you ever popped guys?

Speaker 7 (41:31):
Yeah, I enjoy it.

Speaker 12 (41:32):
I enjoy it.

Speaker 9 (41:33):
I don't mind getting it any good at it. I
don't mind getting then grown out. Okay, well, tweezers, I
don't mind that.

Speaker 7 (41:38):
And then the problem is though, you just have to
be really careful.

Speaker 1 (41:40):
You have to make sure it's at the right time
because you don't want to pop it and then blood
comes out.

Speaker 6 (41:43):
Oh god, But we.

Speaker 1 (41:45):
Want to pick aside here, Jasmine clearly is on the
side of no, I'm not popping your pimples, But I

want to know what you guys think when it comes
to you in a relationship or even with your friends.

(42:05):
Maybe you enjoy being like, come here, let me get
this for you. I think that's a sweet thing. And
you know you lest somebody when you want to pop
their pimples, pick out their little buggies if they have
like a little bugget like hold on, you have something
in your nose. That's the last thing you do that, Jazz,
you want me to figure out that whole I'm gonna
show you want to figure out that one fifty?

Speaker 6 (42:23):

don't want to see it. It's disgusting.

Speaker 5 (42:28):

Speaker 1 (42:29):

got you way up at Angela yee eight hundred two
niney two fifty one fifty.

Speaker 7 (42:35):

It's time to pick a side and stay there.

Speaker 1 (42:44):
Yes, it's way up at the Angela yee. I'm Angela yee,
and Mano is here, Yes, I am. We're on the
same side today, Jasmine brand.

Speaker 8 (42:52):
And typically like that, it's typically you two against.

Speaker 6 (42:55):
Never it's always against me.

Speaker 1 (42:58):
I think it depends if it's a issue with judgment
than Mano's usually on the other side.

Speaker 8 (43:03):
He's a judge. He'll judge you.

Speaker 1 (43:05):
I'll never judge you with you're saying it and you're
judging with those holes.

Speaker 7 (43:10):
Now, Jasmine has some holes that she was born with,
not those, but other ones.

Speaker 9 (43:14):
Yeah, other ones have they got dirty. I have a small,
tiny hole on the left side of my head and
also have a tiny hole.

Speaker 7 (43:21):
On my back that has to constantly be cleaned.

Speaker 8 (43:23):
And I've asked both Angela and Mano if they would
help me clean it.

Speaker 6 (43:27):
And the tools I have, I don't know they fill
those holes.

Speaker 1 (43:30):
I can get a hose and hose you down from
a distance. All right, Well, we want to see what
you guys think about popping pimples. That's what we're talking about.

Speaker 7 (43:38):
Mano and I love it.

Speaker 1 (43:40):
We love to pop pimples. We love to watch videos
of people getting their pimples popped. We find it oddly
satisfying and the grosser.

Speaker 7 (43:47):
It is the better.

Speaker 1 (43:47):
Jasmine, on the other hand, is screaming and looking away
every time you look at said videos. We want to
see what you guys think. I feel like it's true
love when you can pop somebody's pimples. Right, eight hundred
two nine fifty one fifty is a number.

Speaker 7 (43:59):
Pick a side. Hey, Bria, I'm good.

Speaker 12 (44:09):
I'm definitely a team pimple popper. And uh, nowadays I
just have to wait for my man to ask me
for assistance with ingrown hairs and such, because prior a
few years ago, I had my son who was a
captive audience. So soon as he became a teenager and
sim start going crazy and he had all these black heads,
I would sit him down and go to work on

(44:30):
his place with my little tools and yeah, yeah, but
but if Susie Thurn eighteen.

Speaker 14 (44:39):
He was like, Mom, I don't want you.

Speaker 5 (44:42):
To do that anymore, But isn't it so satisfying for
you when.

Speaker 19 (44:46):
You do that?

Speaker 14 (44:47):
It was, And even now that he's older, I'll be
like I capt him I'm like, son, I can help
you while you know that's weird. He's not taking me
up on the offer at all. But yeah, I'm definitely
pimple up inside of it. And I do recommend going
up and down seven mile looking for anybody to pie.

Speaker 6 (45:08):
That's right, yeah, anybody? All right?

Speaker 7 (45:13):

Speaker 13 (46:54):

Speaker 7 (47:01):

Speaker 14 (47:08):

Speaker 12 (47:09):
Yeah, I would for sure.

Speaker 5 (47:10):
I wouldn't pop up random.

Speaker 1 (47:14):
My brother.

Speaker 12 (47:16):
I try to attack my brothers all the time and everything.

Speaker 8 (47:19):
Let me ask you this. I have this small hole
on the side of my face and then I have
a small hole in my back. And so have you
seen cases like that?

Speaker 12 (47:26):
That's funny because.

Speaker 11 (47:29):
Talking about and I keep so it's something like you

Speaker 12 (47:36):
But I popped out of it all the time.

Speaker 5 (47:39):

Speaker 7 (48:10):
Okay, So you were formed now from that?

Speaker 5 (48:13):
Yeah, it was a little just I have a weak stomach,
so it was like a little disgusting. Y'all were talking
about the blood. How about when it coursed out with
the hair wrapped up in like a black thing and
then come out it's disgusting.

Speaker 7 (48:27):
Yeah, that's the ingirl hair with the roof with the
black thing. Yeah, and then extinct.

Speaker 8 (48:33):

Speaker 5 (48:38):
Yeah, it's like, are we dealing with hygiene here too
at the same because that's like I don't like anything

Speaker 18 (48:52):
You know.

Speaker 8 (48:52):
Yeah, thank you for taking my side. I appreciate it.

Speaker 5 (48:55):
Okay, my cousin named Jazz. I gotta stick with the jazz. Okay,

a pimple popper side one. Yeah, Yeah, there's nothing gross
about it, Jazmine.

Speaker 8 (49:26):
Watch, I mean talk about it is not as gross.
But when y'all show me these videos.

Speaker 6 (49:30):
You gotta think about. Look, look how many followers she has,
Look how big this ship has.

Speaker 7 (49:34):
A TV show that's been on for years.

Speaker 9 (49:36):
Obviously there's a market. I just think it's a little
gros especially before you eat lunch.

Speaker 8 (49:39):
It's just like know have you do?

Speaker 1 (49:41):
You guys ever used to watch Faces of Death? It's
like a documentary. Did anybody ever hear of that?

Speaker 6 (49:47):
Animals?

Speaker 17 (49:48):
Right?

Speaker 1 (49:48):
No, it was it was like a series of videos.
It was called Faces of Death and then had like
parts one, two, and three.

Speaker 6 (49:56):
But what was a video of what?

Speaker 7 (49:58):
Faces of Death?

Speaker 13 (49:59):
Like?

Speaker 6 (49:59):
Different? This is wow?

Speaker 7 (50:01):
You let me find. Let me find. It's a it's
like a horror thing, but it shows different death.

Speaker 13 (50:10):
You know what.

Speaker 7 (50:11):
It's interesting.

Speaker 1 (50:12):
When I first saw this, I was really young, and
I thought it was real. But then somebody said some
of it was fake.

Speaker 6 (50:18):
It's probably probably fake. If you could just look at
it on what would you?

Speaker 1 (50:21):
They said, it's Faces of Death real. It's complicated. Actually,
somebody just did an article about it on Collider like
last month.

Speaker 8 (50:28):
Me neither.

Speaker 1 (50:29):
Okay, Well, anyway, thank you guys for calling in, And
when we come back, we're going to talk about fifty
cent and what he has just purchased and what he's
investing in. You know, we love talking about investments, so
let's get into it. It's way up with Angela yee.

Speaker 17 (50:44):
Yay.

Speaker 2 (50:44):
She back at it. Way up with Angela is on.

Speaker 7 (50:49):
Yes, it's way up with Angela.

Speaker 5 (50:50):
Yee.

Speaker 7 (50:50):
I'm Angela yee.

Speaker 1 (50:51):
Jasmine from the Jasmine brand is here and Maino is
here for some Monday and May ovations, and we do
want to talk about some of these investments that some
of your favorite artists have been making. Like fifty cents
he purchased a nine hundred and eighty five thousand square
foot studio, Wow, and that is for future film and
TV projects. He shared a video of it on Instagram

(51:11):
on Sunday and he said, g unit studios.

Speaker 7 (51:16):
So that's a great idea.

Speaker 6 (51:17):
Yeah, it's a good investment because you get to shoot
and do a lot of the contents that you need
to do, do it.

Speaker 1 (51:22):
Yourself and get paid for it too and charge for
it and then other people can use it too, so
even when you're not using it, you can charge them all.
Right now, I was looking at some other investments that
artists have made recently. You know, Paramount has done a
fifteen million dollar investment that's into ll Cool Jay's Rock
the Bells. Oh nice really, Yes, they did a first
look deal also, so this is something that was announced previously,

(51:43):
but it also will give them first DIBs on scripted
and unscripted film and TV content from the company, and
the rights to live stream the upcoming Rock the Bells
Festival that'll be held in August in Queen's at Forest
Hill Stadium. It's going to be fifty years a hip
hop that they're celebrating this year. That's dope, all right,
So that's a big deal too. And then another thing,
you know, I love looking at what people are investing in.

Speaker 7 (52:05):
A little Dirk.

Speaker 1 (52:06):
He has partnered with Exceed Talent Capital. He's giving anyone
the opportunity to invest in music by their favorite artists,
so you can buy shares in future music royalties.

Speaker 7 (52:15):
Ooh you saw that.

Speaker 6 (52:17):
Yeah, yeah, well I know about that type of programming.
As far as like being able to buy shares in
the publishing of certain artists.

Speaker 1 (52:25):
Yeah, so well, they're trying to find ways to monetize everything,
even like with art. You see, people can buy shares
of art work. I saw that there's another right now
where people can invest into real estate by owning pieces
of real estate. So just all these different opportunities you know,
we love to talk about investments. We have our own
going on, we do, yeah, so just wanted to bring

(52:48):
some of those to the forefront. But with fifty cent,
he has all these different projects in the work. So
one of them is on NFL agent Nicole ln And
I know he's been talking about this for quite some time.
Remember he was mad the stars didn't pay it up. Yeah,
and she represents a lot of different stars, including Jalen
Hurt who recently got a two hundred and fifty five
million dollar deal and so that was like the highest

(53:09):
paid NFL player that she represents.

Speaker 8 (53:11):
And he's a black man.

Speaker 6 (53:12):
I love it.

Speaker 5 (53:13):
Mm hmm.

Speaker 1 (53:14):
All right, So good to see all these investments going
on now, mano. I know we've talked about this before too,
but we always want to make sure that we're thinking
about what's next when it comes to our finances.

Speaker 7 (53:24):
That's why we do Wealth Wednesday every week.

Speaker 1 (53:26):
I know, Earn your Leisure I think is coming up
here all those my guys, Yeah, this Wednesday coming up,
so get excited for that. I'm also going to be
with Bishop td Jake's on Wednesday as well in Orlando
with his Good Soil programming that he's doing. I'm actually
moderating a panel, so that should be interesting too. We're
talking about branding and all those different things.

Speaker 6 (53:45):
Right right, So either you getting awarded or you're moderating.

Speaker 7 (53:49):
I'm working, man. I've seen you on some panels.

Speaker 6 (53:53):
Oh yeah, we have seen you on some panels. Listen,
if I hang around y'all long enough, I will get
nominate it for an award, trophy or.

Speaker 9 (54:02):
We're gonna let's give Mane up a trophy, the key
to the city. Yeah, I feel like Bishop Lamur White had.

Speaker 16 (54:08):
You before that.

Speaker 8 (54:10):
First of all, that's Maine, that's Maynos bishop.

Speaker 6 (54:13):
But he didn't. Yeah he did. That was that was really?

Speaker 3 (54:17):
That was?

Speaker 18 (54:18):
Yeah?

Speaker 6 (54:19):
Yeah, yeah, there you go, you too.

Speaker 7 (54:22):
Yeah, absolutely, we both got honored.

Speaker 6 (54:26):
You have not I have not been.

Speaker 8 (54:29):
Someone please honor may not need to be honest.

Speaker 7 (54:31):
What kind of a word could we give Mano?

Speaker 8 (54:34):
The judgment award? The judgment award.

Speaker 7 (54:38):
Okay, you're very judgmental.

Speaker 1 (54:40):
Yeah, man, that's also you give back to women in
the strip club. Okay, that's important.

Speaker 6 (54:46):
You are to night.

Speaker 8 (54:47):
I see that you are on fire today. I'm gonna
stop there, go ahead, and yeah.

Speaker 7 (54:52):
No, Mane is a great advice giver that he was.

Speaker 1 (54:55):
Preaching to me during one of the breaks too. Yeah,
he was preaching to motivated they were there. You go
the Advice Giver Award. We're gonna actually come up with
that ourselves up here. Next time you're here, we're gonna
give you an award. Okay, all right, Well, it's way
up with Angela Yee and we have asked ye. When
we come back and we have the advice giver right here,
eight hundred two nine two, the award winning advice giver Mano,

(55:16):
we'll be joining us for asking eight hundred nine fifty.

Speaker 4 (55:22):
You tapped in and way up with everybody since, whether
it's relationship for career advice, Angela's dropping facts.

Speaker 2 (55:30):
You should know. This is ask ye what's up?

Speaker 1 (55:33):
His way up with Angela Yee and it's time for
ask Ye. This is when you guys get to call
in and ask questions about anything. It could be about
your love life, it could be work, it could be friendships.

Speaker 7 (55:43):
Hello, Anonymous color, how are you hi?

Speaker 3 (55:47):

Speaker 5 (55:47):

Speaker 7 (55:48):
I'm good? Thank you, I'm here, Jasmine's here, Meno's here.

Speaker 5 (55:52):
Okay, So last summer and the town that I stay
in one to my moms ex boy, and ever since then,
he's been like trying to get at me, been trying
to talk to me. And he does with stuff like
he pays my insurance, my cardinal and stuff like that.
I want to know, like these guys think I should

(56:13):
takes or should I just kick you to the current.
He's a good dude, and he did in my mom
when I was like when I was like a pre teacher.
But we haven't done anything sexual or anything like that.
He just like he's good financially for me.

Speaker 1 (56:28):
I think that's what you like about him more than anything, right,
that he financially helps you.

Speaker 5 (56:32):
Yeah, that's what I That's what I really like.

Speaker 1 (56:35):
Yeah, I think that I wouldn't risk my relationship with
my mom. And I think it's a little creepy that
he even is pursuing you like this. It makes me
question him as to the character of a person like that.
That's not somebody you know who knows if he was
looking at you when you were a preteen in a
certain kind of way.

Speaker 7 (56:53):
That's creepy to me.

Speaker 1 (56:54):
So you know, Okay, great, he gave you some money
handle that, But I wouldn't put myself in that situation
if I were you.

Speaker 6 (57:02):
But she want to do it though.

Speaker 8 (57:03):
No, But here's the thing, she can always you can
always be honest.

Speaker 5 (57:06):
I don't want to do it like sexually. It's just
like for the time being, it's just like actually really
really helping me out. But I don't want to make
it seem like I'm using him. But I don't want
to have sex with him.

Speaker 10 (57:17):
Or nothing like that.

Speaker 7 (57:18):
Okay, And you don't have to.

Speaker 1 (57:19):
You do not have to have sex with that man
just because he is voluntarily giving you some money. If
he chooses to do that, that's on him, and if
he stops whatever. But you should never just do that
just because financially, somebody's helping you. And and sometimes they
kind of stop helping you once you.

Speaker 8 (57:36):
Don't have sex with him, because then the stuff's kind
of haught sometimes.

Speaker 6 (57:39):
Did he hint towards him wanting to have sex with you?

Speaker 5 (57:43):
Yeah, he talked about like my body and stuff like that,
but after work, like I kind of just push it.
I kind of pushed the subjects away, so we don't
really talk about it.

Speaker 1 (57:53):
Yeah, I don't think that anything, Like, I don't think
that's worth it for you at all. And I think
that I would question him and not feel safe around
a person that would do that. Okay, so he's giving
you money, that's on him, but don't take it any
further than that. I just get that money, girl, No,
she don't need to get that money.

Speaker 10 (58:11):
She is.

Speaker 8 (58:13):
She can find somebody else's money.

Speaker 7 (58:15):
And listen, you don't have to sleep with him. You
don't have to do anything with him. You don't even
like money, girl, that's that's that's how that. He's disgusting.

Speaker 6 (58:23):
Okay, but she likes him. No, he's a good guy
like him.

Speaker 16 (58:28):
She likes her.

Speaker 7 (58:28):
He's giving her money. She doesn't want to like what
he's doing, right, Yeah, he's disgusting.

Speaker 8 (58:36):
We could find somebody else discuss here, because he is he.

Speaker 7 (58:39):
Knew when she was a little preteen and dated her mom.

Speaker 8 (58:42):
He dated her mother. That's wild yea my mom so wow.

Speaker 7 (58:46):
Yeah, I mean that's gross. A person that would do that.

Speaker 9 (58:49):
You could find somebody else to take care of you financially,
and what would your mom say?

Speaker 6 (58:53):
You keep saying that.

Speaker 5 (58:58):
I would I would be found out.

Speaker 12 (59:01):
Yeah, that's why I wanted to definitely got that.

Speaker 5 (59:04):
I'm gonna just kid come to the carb and go
and find me somebody else.

Speaker 7 (59:07):
There we go.

Speaker 8 (59:08):
Yep, that a girl. Okay, good luck.

Speaker 5 (59:11):
I have to do one too.

Speaker 6 (59:13):
See, I didn't say nothing about the other advice that
I give. Try to have a three something, right, I'm discussing.
That's what I mean.

Speaker 7 (59:23):
Why do you even have to bring that?

Speaker 6 (59:24):
What I'm saying is that that's not the only advice
I give. That's my point.

Speaker 8 (59:28):
Okay, got it.

Speaker 6 (59:29):
That is not the only advice I give.

Speaker 8 (59:31):
Duly noted.

Speaker 1 (59:32):
You know, I give really terrible if you give that advice,
I would never have given that advice. I give the
advice when when that advice is really necessary. It is
necessarily when you know, when I say that, All right, well,
that was asking. And when we come back, we have
last word. That's when you guys get to call in
and just have your last comments. Maybe you want to
weigh in on something on the show that you didn't
