normal day. Today is a holiday weekend. They're saying that

We are.

Speaker 4 (01:15):
Yeah, it doesn't sound fun, but it's gonna be fun.

Speaker 3 (01:17):
I think, right, why doesn't Ohio sound fun? It does.
It's a good time, No, it is. It was recently
in Cincinnati, not too long ago. It was good. We
had fun. And then we did Midwest.

Speaker 6 (01:32):
That was fun.

Speaker 3 (01:32):
Yeah, Chicago. You know, Chicago one of my favorite places
to visit. A reachurn. I love the Midwest Carriod Poo.
But we are going to see Dnnell Rawlings, Donelle Liam.
So I feel like it's going to be a good
weekend and it's going to be a lot of physical activity.

a lot of fun things. Jasmine, you gotta play kickball

(01:54):
this time, Okay, don't.

Speaker 4 (01:55):
Yeah, I'm gonna keep it a buck. I don't know
about that, but I'm definitely going to. I just want
to relax and just walk around and see the sights
of the wilderness and the outdoors.

All drink a little bit, a lot, a lot of it,
a lot of it done. He'll send me a message.
I don't even going to tell you don't. Yeah, let's not.

putting together some welcome packages. Oh, thank you, donad thank
you all right now on the show today, we have
Nigerian artists kids Daniel joining us. That's going to be
really fun. Yeah, a huge artist. I had him on

Speaker 3 (03:08):
Its way up? With Angela Yee. I'm Angela ye and
Jasmine from the Jasmine Brand is here. Happy Friday, Angela
who Happy Friday. Monday is a Honda Day holiday, and
we are about to shine a light on him. Now,
I want to shine a light on somebody who is
a really good friend of mine for I'm gonna say
like almost like twenty five years Wow, that would be

(03:29):
my girl, Jane Boldens. Okay, Okay, she is a writer,
a journalist, not just a writer, yep. And she did
the cover story on Offset for Variety.

Speaker 4 (03:39):
That's major.

Speaker 3 (03:40):
Yes, I remember when she was working on it. It
feels like for print stories it takes so long for
it to come out. Yeah, but she did an amazing
job with that sit down interview. He talked about a
lot of things that he's never discussed before. So just
shine a light on you, Jane. And Janney's always been
doing the work. When I first met her, she was
actually still in college and she was at NYU and

(04:01):
she was looking for an internship. I was working for
Wu Tang, so I interviewed her, okay, and then later
on some years later, she ended up doing write up
on me for this website sag dot com I remember
that website. Yes, And so they had a segment where
they basically highlighted like different people who were in the
music business, more like behind the scenes. And so she

(04:22):
did an article on me that was one of my
favorites and it was like one of the first articles
on me early on in my career.

Speaker 4 (04:27):
Is that how you all became became friends?

Speaker 3 (04:29):
Yeah, and then randomly she dated my ex memory at
that time. There was a lot of different ways that
we cross paths, but sometimes people are in your life
for a reason. And we are still friends to this
very day. Never had a falling out, never had an argument,
you know, always um never, that's great, yeah, never, you know.
And she's the type of person I could tell her anything,
she could tell me anything.

Speaker 4 (04:50):
Yeah, no judgment right right.

Speaker 3 (04:52):
So we appreciate friendships like that and we'll be friends forever.
That's one of your besties. We'll be like the Golden Girls.

Speaker 4 (04:57):
Oh, thank you for.

Speaker 3 (05:01):
Today. Now, who do you want to shine a light on?

but I'm gonna try to take some vacations. And I
have a fund who's graduated in the fifth grade, so
we're gonna try to do something special for him as well.

Speaker 3 (05:35):

is so essential and so necessary, so we appreciate you. Yes,
thank you for all you that you know, the teachers
and the bus drivers and everybody.

Speaker 3 (07:31):
All right, Well, that was shining light on I'm eight
hundred two nine two fifty one fifty. It is a number.
If you want to shine a light on somebody, you
can always leave a message. You can also always junk
dollars leave a message that way. Yes, please, Because it
is a holiday weekend, y'all, I think we're gonna drunk
doll ourselves. We should leave a message. Oh yeah, we should. Okay,
show y'all how it's done. I'm done, done, all right,

(07:51):
and when we come back, we have your yeete. And
let's talk about Derek Jackson. You know we do gurus
of the gram up here. Well, this guy is a guru,
but maybe he's an X guru. But his ex wife
is speaking out. Dania Jackson will tell you what she
had to say. It's way up with Angela yee.

Speaker 1 (08:06):
They say in the rooms.

Speaker 7 (08:09):
From industry shade to all the gossop out. Angela's spiling
that et.

Speaker 1 (08:15):
What's up?

Speaker 3 (08:15):
It's way up with Angela yee, and I'm here with
the Queen of entertainment sites, Jasmine from the Jasmin brand
dot Wow.

Speaker 4 (08:22):
Thank you like that?

Speaker 3 (08:23):
Yeah, okay, I'll take it now. They're gonna start beefing
with your girl, I know. All right, well, uh, let's
get into it, Tina Turner. They have found out how
she's passed away. It's been confirmed by the Dailymail dot
Com from her representative that she died from natural causes
at her home in Switzerland. She passed away at the
age of eighty three. She did have a long unspecified

(08:45):
illness and previously battled in testinal cancer and suffered with
high blood pressure for over four decades. But they did
say it was natural causes. And that's good. That's how
I want to die, natural pauses. Eighty three years old,
natural causes. And she's revealed a lot. You know, her
memoir is available. I read her memoir. She even admitted
that she once considered, you know, suicide. Yes, yes, so

(09:08):
she also signed up to an assisted suicide organization as
she mentally prepared herself for the possibility of dying when
she discovered she had unmanaged high blood pressure that had
accelerated her kidney damage. She said, if her body was
going to shut down, she wanted to make peace with
the idea of death, and her husband actually stepped in
and donated his kidney to her in twenty seventeen.

Speaker 4 (09:27):
Wow, beautiful, lots of tributes born in Still.

Speaker 3 (09:31):
Yes, you know, not leve me Stina. And by the way,
of course, you can see that her music streaming has
gone up like two hundred thousand percent, so keep on
running it up. All right. Now, let's get into it.
Let's talk about this woman, DANEA. Jackson. She is the
former wife of I guess he's an ex relationship guru

(09:51):
because no one looks at him for advice anymore. Derek
Jackson and she did Dear Future Wifie podcast where she
really opened up about what was going on during their marriage.
Now she talked about how she discovered that he was
cheating Dan. She also discussed how bad it got. She
said that she would even pass by women who were
taking turns with him. Oh my goodness, here's what she said.

Speaker 15 (10:13):
Anyway, we were still engaging sexually even though we were off.
It was in this time where there was listen, there
was a lineup of us. We were passing each other
on the stairway in and out. You think this is
a game, you.

Speaker 6 (10:27):
Would not passing each other on a stairways.

Speaker 15 (10:31):
We were passing each other on the stairway like this
is my shift from this time to this time. So
I was a willing participant. I could laugh about it now,
but it's really sad.

Speaker 8 (10:42):
Dan.

Speaker 3 (10:42):
She also discussed the problems and issues that she had
with their own child because of the complexion of their
daughter's skin. Here's what she said about that.

Speaker 15 (10:50):
I had some issues, like just like with the complexion
of our daughter, because that was the type of woman
that he would go after.

Speaker 3 (10:56):
And I'm not dark, like super dark skinned woman.

Speaker 15 (10:58):
And our daughter's like a little chop, the little old princess.
She has it, you know, And I'm just like, how
does she look like the women that he wants.

Speaker 3 (11:06):
I don't understand.

Speaker 15 (11:07):
It's like they had her even though I carried her.

Speaker 6 (11:10):
Well.

Speaker 3 (11:10):
I'm really glad that she had the opportunity to tell
her story. Hopefully it's therapeutic for her. She looks amazing.

Speaker 4 (11:15):
She looks so much better now that we're altogether I'm
not trying to be, you know, shallow, but she looks
she looks really good.

Speaker 16 (11:20):
Now.

Speaker 4 (11:20):
It makes me sad though, to hear what she kind
of went through.

Speaker 3 (11:23):
Yeah, cause she even said she was a shell of
who she was. She said I didn't know who I was.
And she said I actually had a post on my
page where I said I knew her body better than
I knew my own. So hopefully this helps some other
women though, because people were like making fun of her,
but really she was going through.

Speaker 4 (11:40):
It and we would have never known.

Speaker 3 (11:41):
We would never have known. All right, Well, that is
your yet, and when we come back, we have about
last night. This is a relationship oriented but you're laughing already,
all right, let's discuss it.

Speaker 7 (11:56):
So about last night last night, last night piece, I
went down.

Speaker 3 (12:02):
What's up? Its way up? But Angela yee, I'm Angela
ye and I'm here with Jasmine from the Jasmine brand
dot com. Yes, and we are doing about last night.
This is what went down last night, Now, Jasmine, this
is a topic that is gonna be gross for some people, yes,
But for some people who are mature, those they realize
this is completely natural. Okay, okay, and this has to

(12:24):
do with farting. Yes, so talk to us about your
heart experience.

Speaker 4 (12:28):
As of recently, I met someone and we just went out,
you know, for maybe the first or second time, and
they farted around me, and I felt like it was
a little too soon for that.

Speaker 3 (12:42):
Okay, so it was too soon to fart around? You
do something normal and natural. Did he say excuse me? No?
He didn't excuse me. Now that's the part that bothers me.
No fighting, it's the excuse me. Listen. You don't just
fart and keep it moving. You have to say excuse me.
I was like, Yo, where are your manners?

Speaker 4 (12:59):
I'm not offended at the excuse. You don't fart around
somebody you just met.

Speaker 3 (13:04):
What if you have to fight, go.

Speaker 4 (13:06):
Somewhere else, you listen, Just go somewhere else. No, it's
too early and I don't know what. I don't know what.
How long before you farted in front of you know,
maybe your boyfriend.

Speaker 3 (13:16):
I can't put a date on it, but I know
he thinks it's funny.

Speaker 4 (13:19):
But was it like? It wasn't like first second?

Speaker 3 (13:22):
But sometimes accidents happen. You know, you find better than
a shirt. I don't well, yeah, you know sometimes and
I will fight in my sleep. Sometimes I was taken aback,
I'm not. I was like, yo, man, it blew you
back that far? You so morning, I was taken aback lot.

Speaker 8 (13:41):
You know.

Speaker 3 (13:41):
It's interesting to me because at the same time you
also told me what you like about this person is
that he is very confident and comfortable in himself. You
have to be well, this sound type of critical. I'm
confident and comfortable in yourself. You should be able to
fight in front of somebody with no judgement. I don't.
I think later on, when you know, later on, when
you get to know someone, and I feel like it's
you should be comfortable enough to fart and something that

(14:02):
I feel like early on. And there's such a double
stander because if I did that, I know, well, he
probably wouldn't care. He definitely wouldn't care, but he actually
might love it, because for some people, fighting is cementing
a relationship.

Speaker 4 (14:14):
But I'm not in a relationship, so I don't have
a sure. I'm one hundred percent sure, but no, when
you are, when you are just getting to know someone,
no it's not okay.

Speaker 3 (14:22):
To fart, But fighting is something that is kind of
a cement. It does yees, So that's not we go together? Yeah,
real bad if in front of you, fight it in
front of you and I'm not comfortable and I just
say excuse me, I just am. He didn't say excuse me,
like where are your man?

Speaker 6 (14:35):
Iss?

Speaker 3 (14:36):
But you know, that's the part that I have a
problem with.

Speaker 4 (14:40):
No, I was a fan. No, it didn't smell.

Speaker 3 (14:43):
Well that's good. Yeah I appreciated that. But you know,
but if he would have farted quietly and it's small,
and then he acted like it was you, that's funny,
I would have definitely said something, Okay, So when do
you feel comfortable enough to use somebody's toilet? Because that's
the number two yes, real thing.

Speaker 4 (15:00):
Sometimes I feel like you really have no choice, Like
it's gotta happen.

Speaker 3 (15:03):
Sometimes, that's what I'm saying, What are you supposed to do?

Speaker 1 (15:05):
Leave?

Speaker 3 (15:06):
A lot of people only have like one toilet. You know,
we're in New York right now, and so a lot
of times it's one bathroom that we all got to share.

Speaker 4 (15:13):
I would try to hold it, but if I gotta go,
like really bad, I just gotta go, and I just
will be like.

Speaker 3 (15:19):
You do the courtesy flush after every drop. I do
I do courtesy. I do courtesy flushes. Okay, yeah, that's
what if you flood the toilet. Oh oh my, that
would be so embarrassed. That happened to somebody I know. Really. Yeah,
she was drunk and she was at this guy's house
for the first time and he lived with his mom,
oh for whatever reason, and she ended up flooding his toilet.

Speaker 4 (15:41):
Oh that's so embarrassing.

Speaker 3 (15:43):
But anyway, the thing is that things happening kind of
sometimes is how you handle it, right, It's what is
your reaction, and that can dictate how somebody else reacts.

Speaker 4 (15:52):
Well, I was like hello, like and what he say?

Speaker 3 (15:55):
He was like, ah, he's very comfortable.

Speaker 4 (15:59):
Like hello, you can't just you can't be far in
front of me.

Speaker 3 (16:02):
Well, now the door is open for you to do
the same. I'm cool, okay, all right, all right, Well
that is you're about last night. Now, when we come back,
we have tell us a secret. So I think we've
been telling all of yours Jasmine, Oh my gosh, we have.
And I fart in my sleep. That's a secret.

Speaker 4 (16:16):
That ain't no secret.

Speaker 3 (16:17):
You think everyone knows that.

Speaker 4 (16:19):
I think anyone?

Speaker 3 (16:20):
Oh they do. I didn't know if it was just me.

Speaker 4 (16:22):
You thought you were special.

Speaker 3 (16:23):
I don't know. Does everybody fart in your sleep?

Speaker 2 (16:25):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (16:25):
Okay, thank so? How do you know if you're sleep?

Speaker 4 (16:27):
We don't, That's what I'm saying.

Speaker 3 (16:28):
All right, Well, anyway, tell us a secret. Eight hundred
two nine fifty one fifty is a number. We have
no right to judge you, as you can see, so
you can be anonymous, of course, and call us up
and no judgment. Tell us a secret.

Speaker 3 (16:46):
What's up? As way up with Angela Yee? I'm Angela
Yee and Jasmine from the Jasmine brand dot Com is here.

Speaker 4 (16:51):
Happy Friday, Angela, Happy Friday.

Speaker 3 (16:53):
And you know I love Friday secrets. I feel like
those are the spiciest. Yeah. They do get spicy on Friday,
y'all get some spiciness to y'all, don't you.

Speaker 6 (17:00):
Well.

Speaker 3 (17:00):
Eight hundred fifty one fifty is a number. This is
where you get to call us up, remain anonymous and
tell us a secret and we don't judg you. Okay, okay,
hello anonymous caller, what's your secret?

Speaker 16 (17:11):

What Yeah, okay, I know it's sound horrible. I me's
in second grade and the teacher is hot. We went
on a date and you know, things started happening and
it might be a little awkward, but that's my secret.

Speaker 3 (17:32):
Okay, what's that report card looking like?

Speaker 6 (17:34):
Though?

Speaker 3 (17:37):
I'm sorry to day so far I'm talking about for you. Okay,
all right, well, thank you for sharing that with us.
Thank you, Hey, anonymous, color tell us a secret.

Speaker 17 (17:48):
Okay, So this is about me getting baptiped. I got
back Topped a couple of years ago, and you know,
you got a joint church and all that. So me
and is you know this young lady. We had a
couple of conversations. We were filling each other. So the
day of baptism, you have to go upstairs and you

(18:09):
have to get completely naked, and you got to put
on like white sweatpants and you have to put on
this white gown. So while I'm up there, I'm naked,
like I'm about to put on a gown and sweatpants,
and she comes walking in, so I'm like, whoa, Like
what the hell? She was like, Oh, I just wanted
to wish you, you know, litt luck and God bless
you and all this I'm like, all right, that's what's up.

(18:30):
But she kept coming in the room, you know, so
we you know, she came quote to hug me.

Speaker 4 (18:35):
I'm naked.

Speaker 17 (18:38):
I'm naked, and she hugged me, and she kissed me
like not no peck, like she slabbed me. I'm like, whoa.
So you know she had on her church dress. Lift
her church dress. I started getting it.

Speaker 3 (18:53):
And waite judgment and.

Speaker 17 (18:59):
Upstairs in the church room and my hand and we
cleaned up. I went downstairs. A guy dipped in the water.

Speaker 3 (19:08):
All right, Well, God bless this right, there's no judgment.
The secret, all right, okay, great hanging out to miss
Carlor tell us a secret.

Speaker 6 (19:17):
All right?

Speaker 13 (19:18):
So my secret is me and my man like a
have encounters outside. Okay, got one night on the back port.
We got caught one night on the back port, so
we went outside. Okay, he got next year, I was
on top.

Speaker 3 (19:34):
Wow, who could the neighbors.

Speaker 13 (19:36):
The neighbors next door came out on the third floor
to smoke cigarettes and the spotlight boom right on. It
was stuck for like fifteen minutes.

Speaker 3 (19:47):
Fifteen minutes. So where y'all stayed there for fifteen minutes?

Speaker 13 (19:51):
If I had a got up, it would have been up.

Speaker 3 (19:54):
Okay, it would have seen you. Now is it that
you like the idea that you could get caught?

Speaker 13 (20:01):
You know, we like the idea of when when horny,
we wanna do it?

Speaker 3 (20:06):
Okay, anywhere, anytime, any place? Are you guys doing something now?

Speaker 5 (20:16):
Okay?

Speaker 3 (20:17):
All right, well hey look if you like it, we
love it. Just be careful. Okay, wait, one more thing.
Where's the most strangest place you guys did it? Outside?

Speaker 13 (20:27):
Behind this building? And afterwards we've seen at cameras.

Speaker 3 (20:31):
Oh okay, so so caught on camera? All right then
all right, take you all right? Tell us a secret.

Speaker 5 (20:41):
Okay, Hi, so excited to talk to you. Okay, I
have a secret. So I work at this company and
we have a really great team, and one of the
guys on my team we always joke that we're like
work husband and wife because you know, we're just super
cool and we get it. We've been there around the
same amount of time. Problem is, as time has progressed

(21:03):
and our friendship has built, I think i've like secretly
like fallen in love with him.

Speaker 3 (21:09):
I put it in the as I love him, love him.

Speaker 5 (21:11):
Yeah, So now I'm you know now I'm you know,
I don't I can't do anything because you know, he's married,
so you know, I'm really stuck. I don't know what
to do, but I love him and I just think
that we will be great together.

Speaker 3 (21:26):
Do you think that he feels the same way about you?

Speaker 5 (21:29):
I think that there is definitely some you know, flirtation
going on. But again, he's a pretty decent guy, so
he wouldn't just like come out and say that because
he is married.

Speaker 3 (21:40):
Yeah, and you probably also like the fact that he's
a pretty decent guy. So exactly you might want to
stop playing around with his work wife and work husband
thing because it's not cool.

Speaker 5 (21:51):
Yeah, okay, but you know, I think that's a little safe.

Speaker 3 (21:55):
No judgment here, but I guess there's a little tooth
to everything that we do. But like you said, do
you think he's a nice guy. He's a good, decent person,
so you don't want to be the one. But look,
it's not an advice segment. It's just a secret segment.
So thank you for sharing with us. All Right, Well,
that was tell us a secret and when we come back,
we have your yet and let's talk about Jennifer Williams

(22:16):
from Basketball Wives. Now I'll up y'all notice, but she
has a documentary coming to VH one. And by the way,
I'm an executive producer and I got some spoilers from you.
We'll tell you what it's about. It's way ya put
Angela yee in the rooms.

Speaker 7 (22:31):
From industry shade to all of gossip out. Angela's spiling
that eet, what's up?

Speaker 3 (22:37):
It's way ye, puty Angela yee. I'm Angela ye. And
Jasmine from the Jasmine brand is here.

Speaker 4 (22:41):
Yes, I'm here.

Speaker 3 (22:42):
What's up? Jasmine? I know you love this part.

Speaker 4 (22:44):
This is this is probably the top the top segment
for me.

Speaker 3 (22:47):
All right, this is what you live for. This is
your yet. Now let's get it started. So first up,
Jennifer Williams. All right, she was on lip service and
you know she has a my True Scam story coming
out and that is all when she got swindled scammed
by her ex. His name is Nick. He has a
lot of different names, so I don't know what name

(23:08):
you call him, but Nick is his name and it
was actually her and Mona. Mona is part of this
story as well. That was another woman who got scammed
that Jennifer actually met while telling her story. But basically,
he stole Jennifer's range rover. Allegedly, No, he stole it.
Ok he actually went to court and everything and he
stole it. Yeah, and he stole it, got convicted and
actually had to pay her for it. So, yes, he

(23:29):
stole her range rover. Okay, ain't no allegend. Okay, all right,
he stole that range rover and you know it was
never recovered. And so this whole thing was documenting what
happened when Jennifer first went live with this story on
social media because she was so frustrated that nothing was happening.
You know, she had tried to go to the legal route,

(23:49):
she had went to the police, and nothing was happening.
So she finally exposed him, and you would be surprised
at how many people came forward and said they had
gotten scammed by this guy Nick as well. Well, she
came on lip service to talk about what happened. Here's
what she said, and here's why she said she did
this documentary.

Speaker 18 (24:06):
I just want to do this to just have an impact.
Absolutely good.

Speaker 3 (24:13):
Yeah, yeah, I think that the documentary, we should put
his face on billboards. See because he keeps changing his
name for me.

Speaker 18 (24:20):
I have to do this because I said, if it's
the last thing I do before I leave this earth,
I'm going to let people know that this man is
a menace to society.

Speaker 3 (24:31):
All right now. Mona was also on there, and I
told you Mona was another woman who got scammed by Nick,
the guy who scammed Jennifer Williams. And here's what she
had to say about how she ended up getting pimped
out by him.

Speaker 19 (24:42):
Even like, you know, pimps and hustlers will know the difference.
It's one thing if you're honest with what it is
that you're doing.

Speaker 3 (24:47):
He wasn't, you know.

Speaker 19 (24:48):
It's like I was kind of coerced into it, like
I was misled into it, like you legit or pimping
me out, And that's what it was. But every time
I would confront him about it, He's like, if I
was a pimp, I wouldn't pimp you. I would get
somebody would make more money, I would get whatever.

Speaker 3 (25:03):
You know, a lot of times people who get scammed
people make fun of them. They're scared to come forward,
they're embarrassed. And I actually did some of the interviews
when we were first talking to his victims because they
are victims, and you would be surprised at how people's
family members shame them for it. People ended up being

(25:24):
suicidal over this. People emptied out their bank accounts, they
did more than that, took lines of credit out on
their credit cards to give this man money.

Speaker 4 (25:32):
It's heartbreaking.

Speaker 3 (25:33):
It's heartbreaking. He stole checks. I mean, it was a
lot allegedly because that part we can't legally say he did,
but we spoke to these people firsthand who told their
stories his own family members.

Speaker 4 (25:45):
Well, I'm just glad that Jennifer came for and she's
doing his documentary and other people are able to tell
their story and its hopefully can help someone else.

Speaker 3 (25:52):
And part of that is also taken the power back
because he was definitely trying to intimidate her at appoint
you had to have security.

Speaker 4 (26:00):
And he probably would still continue to do this had
she not done this right so exposed him.

Speaker 3 (26:05):
So there's a lot to it. But you guys, I
think it's going to be coming out in July towards
in July on VH one, So I'm excited for that.
I'm an executive producer on it. Oh don't congratulation, thank you,
and Jennifer is definitely going to be here to discuss.
And we already told you about basketball wives, right, you said,
Evelyn Lozadez coming back. That was a Jazzmine beeran exclusive.

Speaker 4 (26:24):
Yes, and Jennifer is actually one of your good friends.

Speaker 3 (26:27):
We went to high school together. I was in her wedding, yep,
I was a bridesmaid, So yes, all right. And speaking
about dating, Shakira is rumored to be dating Jimmy Butler.
Oh okay. This immersed after she was there at the
game that Miami Heat beat the Boston Celtics, and there
was a video that was published on Twitter that said
are Jimmy Butler and Shakira a thing? And then they

(26:48):
said after the game the two of them followed one
another on Instagram, and Shakira only follows a few people,
one hundred and fifty nine people, so it's not just
now one of them, okay, all right. So it was
also pointed out that her son were Jimmy Butler costume
for Halloween, okay, and his brother dressed as Lebron James,
So it could just be a rumor.

Speaker 4 (27:09):
It could be, but he's cute, so I'm with it.

Speaker 3 (27:11):
And you know, he does have a girlfriend. Last we checked,
you know, so who knows, but she has been going
through her own things.

Speaker 4 (27:19):
Yeah she has. I guess we'll see.

Speaker 3 (27:21):
All right. Well that is your yee t And when
we come back, we have under the radar. These are
the stories that are not necessarily from page news stories,
but they are under the radar. But just as important,
it's way up put angela.

Speaker 1 (27:32):
Yee news news. This in the news that relates to you.
These stories are flying under the radar.

Speaker 3 (27:39):
What's up? It's way up put. Angela ye, I'm angela ye.
And Jazzmine from the Jasmine brand is here on a Friday,
on a holiday Friday. And let's talk about under the
radar stories. These are stories that are not necessarily in
the front pages, but they're very important too. Now, the
worst city to start a career. A study has shown
the best and worst place to to start a career.

(28:00):
This is all conducted by personal finance site wallet hub. Okay,
and last, and I mean dead last on the list
for the worst city to start a career is New
York City.

Speaker 4 (28:11):
Oh no, oh no, he said.

Speaker 3 (28:16):
Yeah, Well, you know New York is definitely a tough place.

Speaker 4 (28:19):
Well, we know, it's just for everything. New York seeds
to be a toughly what's the number one the best?

Speaker 3 (28:23):
But the reason I'm going to say this though, because
New York is the one hundred and eighty second place.

Speaker 20 (28:27):
Good.

Speaker 3 (28:28):
But that's because of the number of entry level jobs available,
average monthly starting salary, housing afforded affordability, and I'm sure
you know that's a major part of it, and average
length of the work week and more. They also said
that New York has the lowest number of entry level jobs.
So there you have it. That's why. And you know
what I noticed too, would you notice, because you know,
like Scarlet will tell you, we don't say good morning

(28:50):
in New York like that. Now, Jasmine used to always
get on the elevator say good morning to everyone.

Speaker 4 (28:56):
And no one would say it back.

Speaker 3 (28:57):
And now she stopped doing it. I was with her
on her elevator too, and I said, I watched her
as she got in and there were two other people
on there, and she just turned her back and didn't
say a word. I said, well, Jasmine, you know not
saying good morning at Georgia.

Speaker 4 (29:10):
Oh okay, I can see that.

Speaker 3 (29:11):
Yes. At one point I almost moved to Atlanta I
feel like I halfway lived there now sometimes, Yeah, you
go there a lot. Alanta have good food. By Number
two was Orlando. We were just in Orlando. We were
We love Orlando. Yeah, shout out to my girl. Quo
yea in Orlando. Number three is Salt Lake City, Utah.
Number four Columbia, South Carolina, followed by Tampa, Florida, Charleston,
South Carolina, Miami, Florida, Austin, Texas, Minneapolis, and Pittsburgh. Okay,

(29:35):
it's a little top ten, all right, Yeah, those are
your top ten best places to start a career, just
in case y'all are wondering. Okay, you know, Detroit is
number one hundred and seventy nine on the list. Ooh,
I'm surprised it's so far down. Wow.

Speaker 4 (29:48):
Yeah, I see. My DC is number twenty three.

Speaker 3 (29:51):
So that's okay, all right, well we have careers now already. Yes,
I guess, call it what you want. And speaking of Detroit,
an operation from the US Marshal Service that was called
Operation We Will Find You has led to the recovery
of twenty five missing children, some of them were victims
of sex trafficking, exploitation, and abuse. Oh my god, oh,

(30:13):
my god, that's so sad. Now, one woman, Lauren Sowell,
at age fourteen, she ran away from her foster grandparents
and eventually met someone who got her addicted to heroin
and entered her into a sex trafficking ring in Highland Park.
She remained there for seventy years until that man was
killed in a drive by shooting. She said, it took
him being killed for me to escape and be free
and to get my identity back. And so now ten

(30:35):
years later, she's a mother of two. She's an author
of public speaker and a social workers. She founded this
organization and she said in the seven years that she
was traffick she felt like nobody cared, nobody looked for her.
She said, I was invisible when I was in the street.
It was very hard because I felt I didn't have
the attention I wanted, and no one sent for me.
All right now, From March until mid May of this year,

(30:55):
the US Marshals had gone out looking for kids who
had been in her shoes, and with help from the
Michigan State Police in the Oakland County Sheriff's Office, they
found twenty five missing kids for Metro Detroit, locating them
in places as far away as New Zealand. That's crazy.

Speaker 4 (31:10):
In twenty five missing children. I'm grateful that they found
twenty five, but you know how many more stories of
children missing that are being sex trafficked? You know what
I mean? This is right, this is a serious problem.

Speaker 3 (31:21):
Oh my gosh. And you know they say since the
US marsha's partner with the National Center for Missing and
Exploited Children in two thousand and five, more than three
thousand missing children have been recovered. Wow, all right, I
feel like that's something we should somehow get involved with. Yeah,
because that is so sad. Imagine how she felt. She
was right there and nobody even tried to help her

(31:42):
or look for her. That's devastating. All right, Well that
is you're under the radar. Like we said, these are
really important stories, right and you know, it's a Friday,
So let's get ready for that amazing way up mix
at the top of the hour. I know y'all love that.
Y'all be dancing and I'll be dancing. Yeah, Jasmine, you
dance to when there's no music? Comes amazing. Also, kids,

(32:03):
Daniel is going to be joining us, all right, so
get ready for it. It's way up. But Angelae, it's Friday.

Speaker 7 (32:10):
They say in the rooms from industry shade to all
the gossip out.

Speaker 1 (32:15):
Angela's feeling that.

Speaker 3 (32:18):
Except it's way yep. But Angela yee. I'm Angela yee.
And Jasmine from the Jasmine brand is here and it's
time for that Ee team. Oh yeah, all right, Shaquille O'Neill,
he has finally been served. That's all because of that
cryptocurrency exchange FTX, and the legal documents were served on Tuesday.
They were delivered to him during the broadcast of the

(32:39):
Miami Heat Boston Celtics playoff game in Miami, according to
the plaintiff's attorney. Now, that complaint is part of a
class action lawsuit that alleges that Shaquille O'Nell and other
celebrities defrauded FTX investors by appearing in advertisements.

Speaker 4 (32:52):
So they went to this man's job.

Speaker 3 (32:53):
Yeah, you know, they said he'd been ducking them. He
was doing he was pretty good at it for a while,
and at certain times they thought they had served him
successfully last month, but then he filed a request to
dismissed the law city said he had never actually received
the legal papers. His attorneys said in a court filing
this purported services and inadequate it should be quassed and
the claims against mister O'Neill dismissed. Well, he tried. Did

(33:17):
you know? They said they had enlisted four different companies
to give him this complaint after months of filled attempts.

Speaker 4 (33:22):
That's funny, I know.

Speaker 3 (33:24):
I think in New York it doesn't matter. Really. They
could actually mail the papers to your house like certified
and you'll still be consident served. Didn't we talk to
the law bulldog about this? All right? You know what,
we should get a little snippet of that back on
so he can explain, Oh, yeah, that's right. We will
get that on for you in a little while. Let's
get that together, because I want to refresh on what

(33:45):
the rules are the law when it comes to serving somebody.
All right now, Britney Spears' mother, Lynn Spears, has reconnected
with her after years of public feuding. Wow, she actually
flew to la to reconnect with her daughter. They photographed
her arrived at the airport ahead of their meetup. She
first stopped at Britney Spears's friend of manager's home, then
took an uber to her mansion and it lasted about

(34:07):
thirty minutes and her husband was also present. Okay, so
they have been texting more frequently. It looks like they've been,
you know, talking, and I mean that's a good thing.

Speaker 4 (34:18):
Yeah, I think it would be nice for them to reconnect.

Speaker 3 (34:21):
I'm sure that they miss each other a lot, and
sometimes you really need your mom, Yeah, for sure. You know,
I can't even imagine not being on good terms with
my mom and how painful that could be for both
of them. Yeah, all right. Megan thee Stallion is in
her ongoing legal battle with fifteen oh one Certified Entertainment.
She's going to through a lot, she is, all right,
that's her former label, and as things are continuing to escalate,

(34:43):
she made a request. She has asked a judge to
compel a surprise witness to appear at her upcoming deposition.
She wants to depose Darien Smith. He's an executive at
fifteen oh one, but he's also the boyfriend of her
former best friend, Kelsey Harris, so she feels like Darien
has crucial firsthand knowledge of the dispute with Carl Crawford,

(35:03):
who is the head of the former label. Okay, right,
She's saying that fifteen on one has failed to cooperate
and work in good faith to schedule the necessary depositions,
and the court documents state that she is seeking the
court's intervention to ensure that all outstanding discovery obligations, including
the production of documents and deposition testimonies, are completed by
July fifth. She just wants closure in this case, we

(35:25):
want closure too. Yeah, she's got a lot of cases
going on. Yeah. I can't even imagine, like the pressure.

Speaker 4 (35:32):
I can't imagine going through one of those situations, let
alone multiple ones, and then being on social media and
having to hear everybody's opinion, and it's a lot.

Speaker 3 (35:39):
Not having your mealing with it since twenty nineteen, yes,
a long time. That's four years. Yeah, all right, So
I'm really hoping that they finally get all this behind them.
All right. And Rihanna, they're talking about her toe ring.
Oh did you ever have a toe I used to
love toe rings. Let's just want to say that when
I was younger.

Speaker 4 (35:56):
I think to rings are still really I don't do them.
I used to do them when I was younger, but
I think they're so cute.

Speaker 3 (36:01):
Well, she has a toe ring that's a million dollars
cannot relate. Uh MENI there, Mine were always like silver, yeah, yeah,
sterling silver toe ring over here. The ring is a
nine carrot pearcut diamond, and pearcut stones are believed to
symbolize the empowerment and independence of the wearer. They said,
it's a perfect choice for a global superstar like superstar

(36:23):
like Rihanna.

Speaker 4 (36:23):
Nine carrots on your toe.

Speaker 3 (36:25):
No, ma'am, And I'll definitely lose that. Oh my goodness.
All right. And Will Smith is appearing in a video game.
He joined the game Undown. He'll be joining the game
Undawn on June fifteenth, all right, So that's going to
feature Will Smith as a playable character. And in the
trailer you can see that Will Smith's character Trey Jones,
is gutting down enemy's left and right and a tunnel

(36:47):
before staring into the camera so that you can see
Will Smith's character walking out into a post apocalyptic city
overrun by vegetation. That was hard for me to say
that word. It was hard for me to listen to
and randomly I watched Apocalypto again over the weekend. Did
you I, for some reason love that movie? This would
be cool for gamers yeah, are you a gamer?

Speaker 4 (37:07):
Nope?

Speaker 3 (37:08):
All right, well you gotta fight to stay alive. There's
a trailer that's available online and again that comes out
on June fifteenth. All right, I'm Angela Yee and that
is your yet and it is a Friday Jasmine. Oh yeah,
so I know what that means. New music. It's new
Music Friday, and we're gonna give you some highlights of
things that you could be listening to over this Memorial
Day weekend. It's way up at Angela.

Speaker 1 (37:29):
Yeeay kay, she back at it. Bring in the way
up with Angelayee is on?

Speaker 3 (37:38):
What's up? It's way up with Angela Yee. I'm Angela
Yee and Jasmine from the Jasmine brand is here. Yes,
all right.

Speaker 11 (37:43):
Now.

Speaker 3 (37:44):
Earlier today we were talking about Shaquille O'Neill. Previously he
was getting served for this cryptocurrency exchange FTX. It's a
case that involves that collapse cryptocurrency. The legal documents were
finally served on Tuesday while Shaquille O'Neill was doing in
a broadcast at the Miami Heat Busts and Celtics playoff
game in Miami. Previously, they thought they served him, but

(38:06):
he said that it was inadequate and that it should
be quashed and the claims against Shaquerlo Nills should be dismissed.
According to federal law, a complaint must be served in
person or through mail. If the individual being served does
not receive the papers, the case can be delayed or dismissed.
I feel like anybody can say I didn't get the
papers right, I want to say that, Yeah, that's what
I would do. I can get noneing. Well, here is

(38:26):
what the law bulldog Adam Ormlin had to say when
I spoke to him about this previously.

Speaker 14 (38:31):
Every state has different procedures on what proper service is.
Dodging the process server for most of a time doesn't
necessarily get you out of the lawsuit or you're getting
served properly at some point.

Speaker 3 (38:45):
So what if they never catch you, well, I mean.

Speaker 14 (38:48):
They're probably always going to catch you. There are different
procedures set up. Like in New York you can you
can mail and serve like basically mail to the last
known business or at dress that you were at, and
then you also nail it.

Speaker 1 (39:03):
To that post the address.

Speaker 14 (39:06):
I mean, there's no way to really get out of
it outside of maybe pass your.

Speaker 4 (39:09):
Way Okay, right, you might as well face the music,
might as well just not run from them, all right.

Speaker 3 (39:14):
But thank you guys can follow Adam Orland at long Bulldog. Okay,
thank you so much for always checking in.

Speaker 14 (39:19):
I appreciate you.

Speaker 6 (39:20):
Thank you so much.

Speaker 3 (39:21):
All right, well, thank you for that information. You know,
I'm always trying to like do a deeper dive.

Speaker 4 (39:26):
Yeah, that's your thing, and I mean I like hearing
from an expert too.

Speaker 3 (39:28):
So because I didn't say anything, I once same. All right,
And when we come back, we have the amazing Nigerian
superstar Kids Daniel joining us. It's way up with Angela Yee.

Speaker 1 (39:39):
It way up with Angela ye is on.

Speaker 3 (39:43):
It's way up with Angela Yee. I'm Angela Yee. Jazzmine
from the Jasmine brand dot Com is here and Kids
Daniel is here. What's up?

Speaker 6 (39:50):
Well, I'm good. I'm good. How you doing.

Speaker 3 (39:51):
I'm good. We were just over here talking about vacations.
Have you had one lately?

Speaker 6 (39:55):
No? Not really, I've not had the time.

Speaker 2 (39:58):
No.

Speaker 3 (39:58):
I understand that, but I think it's important to make
time because I'm like, sometimes it's exhausting and you've been
on the road non stop.

Speaker 6 (40:04):
Yeah. Yeah, for the past two years now I've been
on the road.

Speaker 3 (40:07):
Sheesh. Well last time I saw you, I was on
the breakfast club And so here we are now and
way up in Angela. Ye, a lot has happened, yes,
but congratulations to you on all the success because you
still have had only hits.

Speaker 6 (40:19):
Oh yes, guilty.

Speaker 3 (40:22):
But at the same time, that's a lot of pressure.

Speaker 6 (40:25):
Yeah, it is a lot of pressure.

Speaker 12 (40:26):
But then I have the old team beside men behind me,
in front of me, you know.

Speaker 4 (40:33):
So yeah, some good How do you know if you
have a hit on your hands? Like, is it a feeling?

Speaker 6 (40:37):
Is it?

Speaker 3 (40:38):
The beat?

Speaker 6 (40:38):
Is it?

Speaker 4 (40:39):
How do you know what gives you the the kind
of this is it?

Speaker 6 (40:44):
Okay? So it starts with knowing everything you do it's good.

Speaker 21 (40:48):
Oh okay, you just gotta know, okay.

Speaker 12 (40:54):
Yeah, you have to believe what you do is good?
Like you good at what you do? How big is
gonna get if we don't know?

Speaker 16 (41:00):
Know?

Speaker 6 (41:00):
Anytime we drop, it's going to be a hit?

Speaker 3 (41:02):
Now rich till I die? Let's talk about that song
because that was an instant hit ourselves. Yeah, so what
is rich to you? Because it's not just financial right.

Speaker 12 (41:11):
No, no, no, no, rich to me is happiness. Rich
to me is self accomplishment. Rich to me is you
being comfortable with your existence, with your being.

Speaker 14 (41:21):
You know.

Speaker 12 (41:22):
So that's rich if you if you can wake up
in the morning and I have a smile on your
face and walk down the straight even if you're trying
to get like a hot dog and not the fancy one,
but you still still, yeah, you have that kind of smile.

Speaker 6 (41:33):
Yeah, that's rich.

Speaker 3 (41:35):
No, how dogs are discussing? You know, I don't think
you know we call hot dogs in New York no glizzies.
You heard that expression before for Africat. I know because
it's I mean, it's in songs and stuff. That's why.

Speaker 4 (41:49):
Oh no, no, Yeah, I think I think hot dogs
are good.

Speaker 3 (41:54):
You do.

Speaker 4 (41:54):
I do turkey hot dogs.

Speaker 6 (41:55):
I love. I love too, don't. I don't know what
Angela is talking about, But why don't you love a dog?

Speaker 4 (42:00):
Isn't it a bunch of mixed up yes, no beef beef.
So I eat turkey hot dogs, so I think it's
a bunch of turkey parts.

Speaker 6 (42:08):
So you have like different type of tokyo.

Speaker 3 (42:11):
It's also processed. Yeah, yeah, it's like all kinds of
process different meats and things. Much looks like we're lying
or something like that.

Speaker 6 (42:21):
It's it's not just meat.

Speaker 4 (42:24):
Me, it's just different parts.

Speaker 3 (42:25):
What part of the meat? Like, what is that?

Speaker 6 (42:28):
Like?

Speaker 4 (42:29):
Maybe the elbow, maybe the console?

Speaker 3 (42:34):
How do you eat though? As you know, you're traveling
on the road all the time, you got to say healthy.
You can't get sick because there's no days off for me.
So how does that play into what you eat and
how you take care of yourself?

Speaker 12 (42:45):
Okay, so I'm guilty because I don't really pay attention
to myself that much. But I have like like, for instance,
every end of the building she tracks start for me,
like make sure I eat good.

Speaker 6 (42:56):
I eat well.

Speaker 12 (42:56):
I don't even know. Most of the time, I don't
even know what I eat. They just give me stuff
eating strong Yeah yeah, yeah, so because I don't I'm
not really a big fan of eating like food like that.

Speaker 6 (43:10):
I sometimes I forget to eat.

Speaker 3 (43:11):
That's me, that's yeah, yeah exactly. As a matter of
I did I eat yet?

Speaker 4 (43:15):
Today? We had snacks? Yeah, presles, Yeah, but I ate
though I don't forget to eat. She does forget to eat?

Speaker 3 (43:21):
Yeah I do. But that's what happens when you're really busy,
but you do have to take care of yourself now
that you've done and accomplished so much. Right as far
as awards, playing in stadiums. I feel like last time
we saw you, you really wanted to book like one
of the biggest arenas. Yes, is that happening?

Speaker 6 (43:39):
Oh?

Speaker 12 (43:39):
Yes, I'm doing the old two of October. Wow, that's
in London now, twenty thousand capacity.

Speaker 3 (43:46):
So that was the goal yeah, last time. So what's
the new goal now, because now you already had that
marked down.

Speaker 12 (43:51):
So the next year we're doing arenas and around the world. Yeah,
that's that's the new goal.

Speaker 3 (43:55):
We're talking to kids, Daniel, and you have a lot
of alliances too, with other artists as well. I want
to believe, So you want to believe.

Speaker 6 (44:02):
I want.

Speaker 4 (44:03):
I want to believe.

Speaker 6 (44:04):
So I don't know. I don't know.

Speaker 3 (44:09):
So was it Boi that said that he was asked
to be on the Booga's song? And was it him?

Speaker 1 (44:15):
Oh?

Speaker 6 (44:17):
Boji wasn't asked.

Speaker 3 (44:20):
I didn't like the song. I don't even try it.
Oh he did, I saw it, of course you did.
You pay attention all the time.

Speaker 6 (44:32):
I don't think if it doesn't involve money, what's my business? Yeah?

Speaker 12 (44:39):
So oh, I don't know, but I don't think there
was never a time was asked to be on Boga.

Speaker 3 (44:44):
Okay, all right, so that was a false situation.

Speaker 12 (44:47):
Maybe maybe, you know, because when people come to the
studio and ask God, like I played a couple of
my songs, you know, to people, maybe he thought I
was playing the song for him to be on it
or something.

Speaker 6 (44:58):
I don't know, but I don't think that.

Speaker 3 (45:00):
Was well, that would be that's a huge hit. So
I mean, oh yeah, and have been on here?

Speaker 6 (45:05):
Yeah, great Tilerance. It's an amazing artist.

Speaker 12 (45:12):
Like, yeah, it's one of the artists that I'm actually
a big fan of.

Speaker 6 (45:16):
And then we had one big.

Speaker 12 (45:17):
Record this year tied to that. That's the same record
I was talking about. Okay, yeah, it's a big record.

Speaker 3 (45:23):
So is a huge song right now?

Speaker 6 (45:25):
Oh yeah, yeah that's a beautiful song too as well.

Speaker 3 (45:27):
Yeah, so what is that about? Because you know, sometimes
we like the way a song sounds, but we don't
necessarily know what it's about.

Speaker 12 (45:33):
Supero is just call to dance, you know, just be happy.
It's just that happy, happy vibe.

Speaker 6 (45:41):
You know.

Speaker 12 (45:42):
I think ever since I my kids have been this
extremely happy guy.

Speaker 3 (45:46):
You have two sons, right, have three?

Speaker 6 (45:48):
Now three?

Speaker 3 (45:49):
Now?

Speaker 6 (45:49):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (45:51):
You laughing like that last time I tell you you
were engaged?

Speaker 6 (45:54):
Right, what Jesus is a low down?

Speaker 4 (46:03):
What he said, what is happening?

Speaker 6 (46:07):
Wait?

Speaker 3 (46:07):
What happened?

Speaker 6 (46:09):
Alright?

Speaker 3 (46:09):
So take it what happened?

Speaker 6 (46:11):
Nothing happened like life happened.

Speaker 3 (46:13):
So he has three sons?

Speaker 6 (46:16):
Okay?

Speaker 4 (46:17):
And are they happy as well because you have this
happy disposition?

Speaker 6 (46:19):
Oh yeah, yeah, my kids are happy. He said, good health.

Speaker 3 (46:23):
I'm sorry. I didn't mean to throw you off. No, no, no,
the last time I saw you, it's obviously it's been years.

Speaker 6 (46:30):
So oh yeah, I know.

Speaker 3 (46:31):
Things change, things evolve, all right. It's the way you
put angela yee and we are talking to kids. Daniel
would be back with some more from the Nigerian Superstar.
You can check out the songs to Peru right now.
It's the summer anthem. It's the way you put angela yee.

Speaker 1 (46:48):
You angelay?

Speaker 3 (46:50):
What's happens where you put angela ye? I'm Angela yee.
Jasmine from the Jasmine brand is here and we are
talking to kids. Daniel, what have been some of the
craziest things that happened to you? Oh man? And when
they had to cancer the show and you got arrested.

Speaker 12 (47:04):
Yeah. No, no, I was just calling for questioning. Okay, yeah,
because the fans was like the I think they they
would destroy the venue. Yeah, I sat and then they
went to the promoter this house to burn the house.

Speaker 3 (47:17):
Dole what I don't know that part.

Speaker 12 (47:20):
Yeah, so he had to like run out of the
house or his kids.

Speaker 6 (47:25):
Yeah, it was really terrible.

Speaker 3 (47:27):
Did you ever make that show up?

Speaker 11 (47:29):
Oh?

Speaker 6 (47:29):
Yeah, okay, good.

Speaker 3 (47:33):
I mean there's a limit, guys, you know, because things
happened behind the scenes that people don't know about. Of course,
you know, I know you've had issues like with luggage,
with production things getting Oh.

Speaker 12 (47:41):
Yeah, because we actually actually the problem started from the flight.

Speaker 6 (47:46):
Actually we were delayed for like over.

Speaker 12 (47:47):
Nine hours summer right, yeah, over nine hours, and we
got in really late, like tour and the next day
the booking was for the former did the previous day,
not the next day, so we were like over like
tom into the next day. We we sat the old
team down and told them, like, you know what, let's
have let's reschedule the show.

Speaker 6 (48:07):
We're going to take off of the production.

Speaker 12 (48:09):
Don't worry, just communicate with the fans and let's get everybody,
get in everybody together on Friday, like the next Friday,
and we have the show and we're going to stay back.
I will stay till the friday and we have the show.
But I guess he panicked because you know, of the house,
the s threads to burn down his house, blah blah blah.
So he panicked and then he went a different way.

(48:29):
So we just understandable. No one needs to blame, but
the show must go on, and that's what we did.

Speaker 3 (48:34):
Yeah, things happened that are unexpected.

Speaker 12 (48:36):
Exactly exactly. Boy, he's a good guy. Everybody, we all go.
Everything is good, guys.

Speaker 3 (48:42):
Yes, what was your life like before all this? Like
what did you think you would be if it wasn't music?

Speaker 12 (48:48):
Like I have like a couple of dreams because before
before I decided to go into music, I was seeing
a lot of round jobs like Okay, so I did
like don't worries you guys, douldn't understand because it's like Africa, Africa. Okay,

(49:08):
So I did a job called I do our. So
what you do is you contact people that sell stuff,
like you go like a retailer. But then you don't
have a start, so you pick up the goods and
then you go from ours the house to sell them
to people. Okay, okay, you understand, you're familiar with that.

Speaker 3 (49:27):
Yeah, we're familiar that.

Speaker 6 (49:28):
Yeah, so we I did that for a couple of times.

Speaker 21 (49:31):
Then I did tailoring, tailoring, yeah, tailoring, okay, lot that
Yeah yeah I did that.

Speaker 3 (49:45):
You can have a clothing line.

Speaker 6 (49:46):
Yeah yeah. So actually that's what my brother is doing
right now, to clothing line.

Speaker 3 (49:51):
Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 6 (49:53):
I did a couple of that. I did that, and
I did printing press.

Speaker 3 (49:57):
Yes.

Speaker 6 (49:59):
Yes. At the same time, I was still in school,
I studied water engineering.

Speaker 12 (50:04):
But then, you know, to get a job with that
type of d SC would be kind of like hard
because it's similar to civil engineering.

Speaker 6 (50:13):
So and then the walk and.

Speaker 3 (50:15):
You want to have time to do music.

Speaker 6 (50:16):
Yeah, so you.

Speaker 3 (50:18):
Know that's what you wanted to do. You were doing
competitions and things. I wasn't doing competitions. I just went
straight from all those jobs into the studio. Wow mahs, Yes,
that was it.

Speaker 1 (50:30):
It was easy.

Speaker 12 (50:32):
I just it was the thing of making up my
mind that I want to do this thing. I made
up my mind that I'm doing music. And then from
boom first year and that was it.

Speaker 3 (50:40):
That's crazy. Mm hmmm. I feel you got to say
this on the mic guy because if people yeah, there
you go.

Speaker 20 (50:47):
So I went to his show at the Brixton in
London and this is just in response to his all
good songs, nothing but hits. An hour and a half
of song after song after song, no one sat down.

Speaker 6 (51:01):
Wow, I don't think I've ever seen anything like it, to.

Speaker 3 (51:03):
Be honest, this happens.

Speaker 6 (51:07):
It was insane.

Speaker 20 (51:08):
It was me, Tina and Nima and we were sitting
all the way at the top in the back corner
just observing and it felt like the floor was moving.

Speaker 6 (51:16):
He's not lying. It's like his whole catalog.

Speaker 3 (51:19):
So wow, that's like something you were born with kind
of you think, yeah.

Speaker 12 (51:22):
I was born with the talent, but you know there's
no like talent, yes, but the business person being heard.
If we have people like Gauzi, you know, to blow
it up.

Speaker 6 (51:34):
So yeah, those records predated.

Speaker 3 (51:37):
Yeah yeah, yeah yeah, and that crazy word.

Speaker 12 (51:42):
But anyways, that's you understand what Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah,
that's pretty much it.

Speaker 3 (51:48):
Okay, Well, I appreciate you stepping back because I know
kase Yana does not do a ton of interviews and
so it's always a pleasure. Sorry if I brought up
old things.

Speaker 12 (51:57):
Oh no, no, no, no, no, it's good, it's good.
But it's now okay, Yeah, I drank your what car tequila?

Speaker 3 (52:05):
You said it was water? Will you give me the okay?
Now I'm playing with you, trying to catch him out
there again. All right, well, Kids Daniel, thank you so much.
June twentieth, the album what's the name.

Speaker 6 (52:16):
Of the album, Yellow Color of Happiness.

Speaker 3 (52:18):
And the tour is being announced too.

Speaker 6 (52:21):
We'll be announced after the album release.

Speaker 3 (52:23):
Okay, all right, well, congratulations on everything. It's always good
to see you. I know you'll check back in when
the tour starts.

Speaker 6 (52:29):
Definitely.

Speaker 3 (52:29):
All right, Well, thank you so much to Kids Daniel
for joining us. And when we come back. We have
asked Yee eight hundred two nine two fifty one fifty
is the number call us up if you need advice
or whatever we got you. It's way up at Angela.

Speaker 1 (52:40):
Ye are good.

Speaker 7 (52:42):
Everybody since whether it's relationship for career advice, Angela's dropping facts, should.

Speaker 1 (52:47):
You should know?

Speaker 3 (52:48):
This is ask what's up? Its way up with Angela. Yee,
I'm here and Jasmine from the Jasmine brand is here
and we got Chris on the line. Chris, what's your ask?

Speaker 14 (52:56):
Ye?

Speaker 10 (52:57):
So basically, my girl, I mean, this is not a
new thing. Females going period, they have dimensional cycles. But
you know, when she gets on her she's extra moody.
And my question is, you know, how do I really
go about females on their mental cycle? Should I leave
them alone?

Speaker 13 (53:13):
Should I do the opposite?

Speaker 3 (53:14):
You know, but you can't just be normal or what
do you mean?

Speaker 4 (53:18):
No, he cannot be normal?

Speaker 13 (53:20):
Thank you? Thank you?

Speaker 10 (53:21):
Oh that's what I'm asking. What is the best thing
to do because as a man, you want to make
her feel comfortable? Whynot me? But at certain times and
nothing's working because she's on her mental cycle and she's
going through stuff in her head. So I'm just asking.

Speaker 3 (53:37):
Listen, Jasmine, let me tell you something. Jasmine did not
come out from my birthday trip one year because she
had her period.

Speaker 4 (53:43):
Yeah, it was I have really I have, I have
really bad well I have really bad cramps. And every
woman is different. Angela doesn't have have severe cramps. I
used to have really bad cramps where I had a baby.
And so you saying your girlfriend is very moody during
her cycle.

Speaker 10 (53:57):
Yeah, she said. She said she has bad cramps too,
and I would tell her like it could be worse.

Speaker 14 (54:02):
She's like, no, this is the worst.

Speaker 3 (54:03):
No that you know.

Speaker 4 (54:04):
The answer is not telling her it could be worse.

Speaker 3 (54:06):
That's number one, because you have no idea what it
feels like.

Speaker 14 (54:08):
You yeah, you have.

Speaker 3 (54:12):
You don't know what it feels like, so you can't tell.
That's like her telling you if you got kicked in
the testicles or it could be worse. You like, nope, Like.

Speaker 4 (54:19):
This is about it.

Speaker 3 (54:20):
But what does she say when when you ask her, look,
how can I best uh support you during this time?
What does she say?

Speaker 5 (54:27):
She said?

Speaker 17 (54:28):
She said she feels like I don't know.

Speaker 10 (54:33):
Her her own space, so she could think about stuff
and whatnot. It has nothing to do with me or whatnot.
I guess she just going through stuff mentally. But I'm
telling her, like, I understand you're going through these things.
But as a man, I could feel a way because
I feel like I can't do anything for you.

Speaker 3 (54:50):
You can't, I can't help you.

Speaker 4 (54:51):
No sortive, No, you can. You can give her.

Speaker 10 (54:54):
But that's kind of frustrated sometimes though, not being.

Speaker 4 (54:56):
Able to listen with your partner. But you have to.
But you have to be peace with this. So you
she wants her space, so you give her space. If
she has a favorite meal that she likes around that
time or right before her cycle, if she likes dark chocolate,
or maybe she likes a heating pad, or maybe she
just wants you to check on her every now and
again and just give her. If she just wants space,
that's really simple, and you gotta really you got to.

(55:17):
You have to let go and know for a week
every month, this is you know, this is how you support.
You support support her invisibly, like you just do a
little small things that might help her be more comfortable.

Speaker 3 (55:28):
But if she says she wants to be left alone,
at least she's telling you explicit directions.

Speaker 4 (55:32):
Yeah, you can.

Speaker 12 (55:33):
Even tell me.

Speaker 10 (55:34):
She'll tell me that. But then now tom she'll say,
oh where you at or stuff like that.

Speaker 4 (55:39):
You know, listen, it'll change sometimes. So before her next cycle,
you say, hey, do you know what you think you'll need?
Because I just want to be prepared. If not, it
can change, I'm okay with it. Maybe get her a
little gift, little little period packet, give her, like some
of her favorite snacks and some app be leave or
whatever medicine she likes in a little heat pad and
and mind your business and just check on her.

Speaker 3 (55:59):
You know what, though, it also doesn't hurt to see.
Sometimes certain foods and things can affect how your period
affects you. So on a holistic level, there might be
things that could be beneficial that you could do some
research on that could be helpful for her.

Speaker 4 (56:14):
Definitely, when I changed my diet, it got a little
better for me, So that may be something she want
to consider too.

Speaker 1 (56:18):
Now, you're right, you're.

Speaker 10 (56:19):
Right, because the other day I started a and I
shared with her.

Speaker 11 (56:22):
She started smiling.

Speaker 3 (56:24):
Yeah, all right, well look I feel like, yeah, will
definitely work through this though he's.

Speaker 4 (56:30):
A good boyfriend.

Speaker 6 (56:31):
Duh.

Speaker 17 (56:31):
Yeah, thank you, Thank you guys.

Speaker 3 (56:33):
Okay, take care bye. All right, well that was as casey.
We can answer anything, yeah, except what it feels like
to get kicked in the testicles. Eight n two nineteen
fifty one fifty is a number you can have your
last words in case you couldn't get through call us
up and you can always at any time during the
day leave a message. It's way up with angela. Ye,
take up the.

Speaker 7 (56:53):
Phone to get your voice heard.

Speaker 1 (56:56):

Speaker 3 (57:01):

some fun. If you want to be on my kickball team,

(57:30):
what's the name of your team on the streets streets
versus the creeks and is clearly the creeks because his
knees are creaky. That's why last time he was defeated
in the first inning, Okay, took something. He had to
get ice, and he was sitting there with some ice
and I was like, this is so sad it's come
to this, But you know where I've always been Donell

(57:52):
in every sport. Okay, I beat him in ping pong
previously we had to film something. One day, we went
to go play ping pong randomly after and I had

I'm definitely done now can't play basketball?

Speaker 4 (58:07):
What about games like checkers? Have you guys ever played

wonder could you put those together? Tack toe and connect

Speaker 8 (59:26):
It's up from here.

Speaker 9 (59:28):
I want to try to write on all the attics
that are out there struggling right now, all the people
who are self medicating and going through a hard time,
who feel like they're alone and feel like there's no
way out, who are at the bottom and they're looking down.
Just look up, find the light and get some help.
There's putting in places you're not alone. I'm struggling now

(59:49):
and I'm about to go into rehab, and I just
want to have everybody take that step and take one
step out of the dark, one step out of the hole,
and keep going and walk your way to much be
happy as people waiting to help you. Medican, you don't
have to suffer and you don't have to see the
safe forever. I'm gonna try to learn on the atticts
because they are like when they get clean.

Speaker 8 (01:00:09):
Hi, angelouie with your beautiful self.

Speaker 17 (01:00:11):
This is Brian from Saint.

Speaker 2 (01:00:12):
Louis, Missouri.

Speaker 13 (01:00:13):
Man.

Speaker 17 (01:00:14):
I was just causing to say, the.

Speaker 8 (01:00:15):
Best secret I got is that side piece, and I
wish it was.

Speaker 11 (01:00:19):
You, uh secret of mine.

Speaker 8 (01:00:21):
I want to remain a dollar on this way.

Speaker 14 (01:00:24):
But when I was younger, when.

Speaker 11 (01:00:26):
You go to church a lot, when the church communion
