let me see what you got on today.

Speaker 2 (02:43):
I'm bring some gifts for you.

Speaker 3 (02:47):
Yes. People talk about jewelry all the time. Is it
a good investment? Is it not? When the pandemic hit,
everybody was going to the jewelry stores. How do you
know what's about? How do you know if it's real?
How do you know if it's a good investment. We're
going to get some of those answers for Wealth Wednesday.
I think that's important because we do like jewelry and
it can be a good investment. Okay, and we are
going to shine a light on them. Eight hundred two
ninety fifty fifty. That's how we always start the show,

(03:09):

something positive and I want to shine a light. I
just think about when I was younger, how motivated I
was working all the time. I still do, but I
just think about. You know, sometimes you'll see somebody and
you'll be like that reminds me of how I used
to be when I was first Like and she's a

(04:23):
lot further along, but just like somebody who you can
see this like got a lot of the qualities that
you have.

Speaker 6 (04:28):
Who is this you're talking about?

Speaker 3 (04:29):
And I'm talking about a young lady named Mia Francois oh,
I love her last name, Yes, and she does branding marketing,
and so we actually met with her yesterday. We did
I did this whole Airbnb campaign that she actually helped
facilitate and make sure that everything was done the proper way.
But I just love the way that she works certain people.

(04:49):
You're like, Okay, I really like her. I could see
myself doing more things with her in the future, and
so we want to shout out to you. Mia.

Speaker 6 (04:55):
She seemed like a connector Angela.

Speaker 3 (04:57):
She's a connector. She has a lot of great ideas.
I'm good at coming up with ideas, but not necessarily
implementing them, so sometimes I need help in that space.
But I just really enjoyed being able to have a
conversation and get some fresh eyes on things. You know,
we need that.

Speaker 2 (05:11):
Shout out to Meal, Yeah.

Speaker 3 (05:13):
Shout out to me. All right, But let's see who
you guys want to shine a light on. Eight hundred

Speaker 7 (05:32):

Speaker 11 (05:33):
Yeah, man, that's what's up. You're given a lot of
entrepreneurs a platform to you know, showcase their business when
they would otherwise not get that opportunity.

Speaker 3 (05:42):
Oh, thank you.

Speaker 11 (05:43):
You did that. We did that with my son's business,
and I got quite a few calls.

Speaker 5 (05:48):
In Oh what was his business down.

Speaker 11 (05:50):

Speaker 3 (05:53):
Oh yes, okay, that's honestly, that is part of what
I really wanted to do.

Speaker 5 (05:57):
That's important to me. So I love the fact that
it really made it difference.

Speaker 11 (06:01):
It did. It made a difference. Now you got quite
a few calls off it, so you know, definitely keep
doing what you're doing is working.

Speaker 3 (06:08):

going to have such a great time. Does she know
where you're going?

Speaker 12 (07:02):
No, it's a surprise. So I already have her stuff.

Speaker 11 (07:05):
I was just taking my stuff up.

Speaker 3 (07:06):
Now. You are a good husband. Okay, I try.

Speaker 12 (07:11):
Oh my god.

Speaker 3 (07:12):
Well, y'all are gonna have so much fun. Send me
some pictures. Okay when y'all get there, Oh, I definitely will. Okay,
thank you, have a good.

Speaker 12 (07:19):
Time, all right, thank you?

Speaker 5 (07:21):
All right, Well, thank.

Speaker 3 (07:23):
You for that. Shine a light on. I'm it makes
me feel all warm and fuzzy every single morning when
we start off the show, just like that, and when
we come back we have yet And let's talk about this.
The highest paid athlete in the United States. It's not
who you think it is. It's not Tiger Woods, it's
not Lebron, it's not Patrick Mahomes.

Speaker 5 (07:40):
It's actually somebody new all right. It's way up at Angela.

Speaker 7 (07:42):
Ye yee t next yo, she's about to blow the
lead ab off this spot. Just get it. Angela's feeling that.

Speaker 3 (07:48):
Yee te, come and get your see what's up. It's
way up at Angela Yee. I'm Angela Yee.

Speaker 5 (07:53):
Jazzmine from the Jasmine brand is here, I'm my own brand,
and Maino is here.

Speaker 3 (07:59):
Yes, sir, okay, I mean that person your lips like that,
like you gotta attitude?

Speaker 6 (08:05):
Can you do a sassy inside?

Speaker 3 (08:06):
Agree with us?

Speaker 2 (08:07):
I don't know, man, I just need to know that
we still gaze.

Speaker 6 (08:10):
We are.

Speaker 13 (08:14):
To turn.

Speaker 3 (08:16):
Okay, so let's get into this yet. Who is the
highest paid athlete in the United States. It's not who
you think it is now. It is Argentinian superstar Lionel Messi.
Earlier this year, people were stunned when he joined into Miami,
you know, soccer team, and so it looks like he's
going to be making they said, somewhere between fifty and

(08:38):
sixty million dollars annually for that two and a half
year contract, which includes an option for twenty twenty six
that includes his salary, signing bonus, and team equity. They
said he's also likely to have an ownership stake in
the team once he doesn't even play for them anymore,
and the revenue sharing agreements with league partners and brands
like Appleogitas and more are being negotiated. So they said,

(08:59):
he is going to make a to one hundred and
fifty million dollars every year.

Speaker 6 (09:02):
That's dope. I'm like the team equity part of it
in the revolutionaring.

Speaker 3 (09:05):
I mean, listen, yeah, and he's a huge, huge star,
so it made sense for them to do that.

Speaker 6 (09:10):
He's also cute. I was looking at his picture earlier.

Speaker 3 (09:13):
Oh now, oh now you okay, jazz in Chyna. Shoot, hello, shot,
we see you, Jasmine.

Speaker 2 (09:18):
Save that honey hunt.

Speaker 3 (09:19):
He's also cute, all right, all right now. Kim Kardashian
told Time magazine that she feels like Kanye West may
have been right after she had to remove a lip
sicking video of Northwest on TikTok and that is where
Northwest was dressed up as Ice Spice.

Speaker 5 (09:36):
Here's what she had to say.

Speaker 14 (09:38):
The Ice Spice videos. She said, Mommy, can I post this?
I was out of town, so I had my nanny
was there and allowed it. And then as soon as
I saw the words and everything, I was like.

Speaker 3 (09:47):
Oh no, no, we're taking this down.

Speaker 14 (09:48):
She was totally understood, you know, And then I saw
on the internet it's.

Speaker 3 (09:52):
Like Kanye was right, and maybe he was.

Speaker 14 (09:54):
You know in that instance. But in the creative side,
where she loves making slime videos and doing her little
here tutorials, I will fight for her to be creative
in those ways. So it's always a compromise. No one's
always going to agree.

Speaker 3 (10:09):
So in other words, her daughter Northwest can still have
fun on TikTok, but the lyrics for that song, she
feels like, maybe Kanye was right, or he was right.

Speaker 2 (10:18):
Yes, yeah, this is exactly what he was talking about.

Speaker 5 (10:20):
But I also think he didn't want her on at all.

Speaker 6 (10:22):
Yeah, I think he does. Yeah, I think he doesn't
want her on that platform at all.

Speaker 3 (10:25):
Yeah. So, all right, tax Zone has been sentenced to
thirty five years and that's for that shooting that happened
at Irving Plaza back in twenty sixteen, where it was
an unfortunate situation.

Speaker 5 (10:37):
Banga was killed.

Speaker 3 (10:38):
That was Troyev's security and friend and according to reporter
Sean Satara, who was president at the New York Courthouse
for the sentencing, that happened yesterday, thirty five years. And
he also added the tax stone so that troy Ad
was a liar on his way out, So Taro said,
Taxtone gave a defiant statement during hearing. His final words

(10:58):
were half the stuff that was told on the stand
Bytaryav is a complete lie to protect himself from going
to jail. All right. So tax Don took to social
media and he said, just got thirty five years from
being victimized and reversing this situation. The beauty in it
all is I'm not doing thirty five be safe though,
and he said, do not protect yourself in New York

(11:18):
City if someone attacks you, just die if you don't
prefer jail. So he does plan to appeal, and he
said that on his social media page on Twitter, he said,
don't worry, My appeal will be swift. And he said,
how can you testify in open court that you and
your friend decided to beat me up, then beat me up,
and I protected myself and you claim self defense? Where's

(11:39):
the Republicans when you need them?

Speaker 15 (11:41):
Now?

Speaker 5 (11:41):
May no, this happened in your stressing RSS.

Speaker 6 (11:43):
Yes indeed was present.

Speaker 2 (11:45):
Yes, I was.

Speaker 5 (11:46):
Right, So thirty five years you didn't anticipate that.

Speaker 2 (11:49):
Nah, you know what, but it's crazy.

Speaker 10 (11:51):
You know when I heard this, I was just like man,
one night, one night, change a whole one moment, one moment,
one night, one role move can change your whole life.

Speaker 2 (12:01):
It's very unfortunate. Thirty five years they actually, uh, they
ran his sentences consecutive. That's how you end up with
thirty five years. So if you got if you if
you charge with something and you got a couple of
different charges, right, so if you got a gun and
you got a shooting and they give you five years
for the shooting and ten years for oh, they give
you five years for the gun and ten years for
the shooting, and he went a consecutive they stack it up, okay,

(12:24):
instead of it being current.

Speaker 3 (12:26):
Oh okay, Oh that's how.

Speaker 2 (12:27):
He got thirty five understanding.

Speaker 6 (12:30):
Did you expect him to get this much time?

Speaker 3 (12:32):
No, okay, I don't think he expected it. Yeah, but
he is going to appeal, is what he's saying. And
it's going to be swift. All right. Well, that is
your yeat, that's what he said.

Speaker 8 (12:41):
I know you sometimes it's not funny, but it's just
your delivery on the delivery, Yes, it's going to be swift.

Speaker 3 (12:49):
I try to say swift swiftly. Okay, yeah, all right,
all right, well that is your yeat. And when we
come back, we have about last night. That's what went
down last night. It's way up with it until a yee.

Speaker 7 (12:59):
Yes, so about last night. Last last night, I went.

Speaker 3 (13:05):
Down what's up? Its way up at Angela yee. I'm
Angela yee. And Jasmine is here.

Speaker 2 (13:10):
Yes, I'm not just any brand.

Speaker 3 (13:12):
I'm my own brand.

Speaker 5 (13:13):
And Mano is here.

Speaker 2 (13:14):
Hey, jo row John. That's it. I can't be here
no more. The war both both of y'all.

Speaker 6 (13:26):
Angela, Angela, I knew. I saw your producer. Wow, I seen,
I've seen something going on.

Speaker 2 (13:36):
They're trying to replace me.

Speaker 3 (13:37):
Y'all shout out to man.

Speaker 6 (13:39):
Wow. I cannot believe.

Speaker 3 (13:42):
Oh there we go.

Speaker 6 (13:45):
I cannot believe that y'all told that clipp.

Speaker 2 (13:47):
I can't believe that y'all did that.

Speaker 3 (13:49):
Now y'all heard that Jasmine was denying the fact that
she said new John Room said it.

Speaker 2 (13:53):
Don't excuse me, she said you said it too.

Speaker 6 (13:56):
Angela and Mano that is a I that is not me.

Speaker 2 (13:59):
Y'all put me a video to man, how could y'all
do me like that.

Speaker 5 (14:04):
Damn at pleast you could do is be honest, you.

Speaker 6 (14:08):
Was, Angela started, Can you play really quick one more time?

Speaker 3 (14:10):
Really quick?

Speaker 7 (14:11):
Please?

Speaker 2 (14:18):
Wow, both of y'all.

Speaker 3 (14:23):
Man, okay, Halla, Halla, Halla.

Speaker 2 (14:33):
I think I'm about to move my seat right off
the camera.

Speaker 5 (14:38):
So let's get into about last night.

Speaker 3 (14:40):
That did happen yesterday to Yeah, to be clear said
only for a day, he said, for today. That's how
it starts, Angels. That's why you can't be days.

Speaker 2 (14:48):
Man, No next thing, you know, it's a week.

Speaker 3 (14:51):
But last night. So I want to talk about this
because I need y'all help, all right, and this is
a serious thing that I do need help with. So
I actually had a meeting yesterday. First we went to
the Gracies luncheon, Jasmine and I went and attended that
great time. Hm, So shout out to everybody who won
Gracis yesterday. What is it's for?

Speaker 5 (15:11):
It's all women in media. So it's women in TV film.

Speaker 3 (15:14):
It's the only organization that actually does these awards for
women in television and media and film and radio in
front of and behind the scenes, right okay, And so
it's a it's a great organization. And I actually go
to the luncheon every year and then they have a
big awards show also in la every year too.

Speaker 6 (15:32):
You've received how many gracies too, of.

Speaker 3 (15:35):
Course, but I go and support everybody else who's winning
as well. Yeah, it is for us, yes, and a
few people from iHeart receive gracies too, yes, indeed.

Speaker 5 (15:46):
And you know we love our iHeart family.

Speaker 3 (15:48):
I Heart was in the building strong, okay, the whole
table indeed, and some change. But after I left that,
I actually went to a meeting at Shopify.

Speaker 5 (15:57):
Now a lot of us use Shapify. We have like
an online store.

Speaker 3 (16:01):
I know. We use Shopify for my coffee shop. We
use it for my private label hair store in Detroit
as well.

Speaker 6 (16:08):
Yep.

Speaker 3 (16:08):
And so Shopify has a pop up space in Soho.
It's literally on the same block as the Louis Baton store,
the Apple Store.

Speaker 5 (16:14):
A great location and they basically we're.

Speaker 3 (16:17):
Going to come in with my coffee shop cup and
take over the cafe, okay, and that's going to start
next month. But the other thing that we're doing is
curating different events and things to be happening. And so
what I want to know is what do you think
you would like to do? Say it was two o'clock
in the afternoon on a Thursday. What's something that you
think would be good that you would pop in to

(16:38):
a place where I was thinking about some type of
wellness activities, maybe some sound bath thing, may no suggested
messages I would.

Speaker 8 (16:48):
I would love to give my makeup done like a
quick little you know, the quick beat, a quick soft beat,
or like a little hair soft little hairs and braiding,
not a hard beat, not a hard beat, a soft beat,
like a little quick updo a little you know, four
braids or something quick.

Speaker 6 (17:02):
Okay, I'll do that.

Speaker 3 (17:03):
All right during the day, during that day. What about you, mano,
what do you think you want to say?

Speaker 5 (17:08):
Okay, makes sense.

Speaker 3 (17:09):
Maybe a little yoga, some stretch after.

Speaker 2 (17:12):
You work out, yeah, or you have some type of
workout thing.

Speaker 3 (17:16):
Over there, okay, or maybe some speed networking Okay, that
could be cool.

Speaker 6 (17:20):
Definitely, some drinks, definitely.

Speaker 8 (17:23):
We know you want coffee coffee and we can coffee cocktails.

Speaker 5 (17:27):
Oh you missed the tills? Whoa jasmine?

Speaker 3 (17:30):
It's a soft beat, off makeup beat, hard beat? Okay,
Well that is you're about last night now when we
come back.

Speaker 5 (17:40):
Oh lord, we have tell us a secret.

Speaker 3 (17:43):
If you want to call it, mayno the number eight
hundred to nine two fifty one fifty go call it
Mano because we know you got some secrets.

Speaker 2 (17:51):
I don't have no secrets.

Speaker 5 (17:52):
It's way up and Angelae, you call us up.

Speaker 3 (17:54):
Tell us a secret. There's no judgment. It's anonymous. Eight

good for Meyno's last day. It's way up here that
this is.

Speaker 7 (18:04):

Speaker 3 (18:08):
It's way up at Angela Yee. I'm Angela Yee. Jasmine
is here and Mano is here and it's time for it.

Speaker 5 (18:13):

Speaker 3 (18:14):

Speaker 5 (18:16):
All right, so Mano you started off.

Speaker 2 (18:17):
I'm not whispering.

Speaker 3 (18:20):

Speaker 2 (18:21):

Speaker 6 (18:22):

Speaker 2 (18:24):
You, didn't you assuming things? Can't see nothing.

Speaker 5 (18:28):
Man you're anonymous right now.

Speaker 2 (18:32):

Way Up with Angela, yee, here's what he had to
say about the rumors. And I saw that you said
that you you're single and you guys are friends. But
it did send everybody in a frenzy.

Speaker 2 (28:48):
It was great. It was purposeful for sure. I mean
not initially.

Speaker 10 (28:52):
That wasn't the idea, like you know, when we shot
the video at first, but when it came to you know,
the team getting together, like okay, how are we going told,
I was.

Speaker 8 (29:00):
Like, ah, you guys, hesitant at all with the idea
of let's make people think maybe this is something or
you're like cool and maybe it's something we.

You know, I wasn't no hesitation and a psychic.

Speaker 3 (29:12):

Speaker 6 (29:47):
And who have we known? Has he dated anybody that
we know of public?

Speaker 3 (29:50):
Not that we know of? Okay, but yeah I saw him.
I think where was it last? It was earlier this
year at Strength of a Woman. Oh no, it was
last year Strength of a Woman.

Speaker 6 (29:59):
No, him in a video or photo with La La Anthony.

now this is all about the Clips. So after thirteen years,
it looks like they are putting out new music together.
And a new CLIPS track premiered at Pharrell's first Louis
Vauton show in Paris. This was yesterday and on the song,
people feel like pusha T Is taking shots.

Speaker 5 (30:47):
At Jim Jones. Here is that verse.

Speaker 7 (30:50):
Beware of my name that there is delegated. You know,
I know where you're delegated. Crush the pieces of home,
a breath of it.

Speaker 13 (30:58):
I will close your heaven for the hell of thinking,
be amongst veterans from watching your face.

Speaker 22 (31:04):
Lets escape relevant. Were all in the room, but he's
the elephant the case to feature out of your element
and those lab diamonds under respection, to question most your blessings.

Speaker 2 (31:15):
There's no two stones in the desert.

Speaker 7 (31:18):
I nobody.

Speaker 3 (31:18):
Now you get the message, now, Jim Jones, then post it.
Let me know if they're serious, because my name is
my name Cappo. And this is all following what Jim
Jones had to say about pushing your tea not being
top fifty.

Speaker 23 (31:31):
What is he done that puts him in the greatest
rappers of all time? Besides talk about that, he probably didn't.

Speaker 2 (31:37):
Get wow all by design.

Speaker 23 (31:41):
He's nice, he's nice, he can rap his what what
is he done? Nobody has dressed like them, Nobody wants to.

Speaker 2 (31:48):
Be like, put your teeth.

Speaker 5 (31:51):
Now, I will say, mano a mano guy.

Speaker 6 (31:55):
Jim Jones is one of your close friends.

Speaker 3 (31:57):
All right, y'all work out together and stuff. They both
some kitchen talk.

Speaker 2 (32:03):
I don't have no kitchen talk. I heard it just
like every you know what. I didn't hear it.

Speaker 10 (32:06):
I didn't know what he Jim hit me like it's
I felt like he was he was sending shots, but
it was it's vague. I like donna qump. I'm from
the subliminal right, I'm from the school of be more direct.
I'm from like, if it's something, let let let it
be known that it's something. I don't like to have
to dissect it.

Speaker 5 (32:27):
Okay, you know you would to just direct. Yeah, but
that's that's what he called you last night.

Speaker 10 (32:32):
No, he asked me, did I hear it? And he
sent it to me and I listened to it. And
I was just I told him the same thing I'm
telling you. I was like, I mean I hear it,
I hear shots, but yeah, like shots.

Speaker 2 (32:44):
Yeah, it's not nothing crazy.

Speaker 3 (32:45):
All right?

Speaker 5 (32:45):
Is it something that Jim Jones needs to respond to.

Speaker 11 (32:48):
I don't.

Speaker 2 (32:48):
I mean, I don't know. I mean, this is rap.

Speaker 5 (32:51):
And let me ask you this, how would you have
felt if you were push your Tea?

Speaker 11 (32:54):
Right?

Speaker 5 (32:54):
Because I looked at it. He did say he was nice.

Speaker 3 (32:56):
Now and I will say this, Push your Tea did
have this clothing line, play clothes that I feel like
people did, like when he said that nobody wanted to dress.
I can remember that.

Speaker 10 (33:06):
No, No, I do not remember, right, that's not I
just made that up. He did, just mad, but she
made up the part about everybody that was made up.

Speaker 6 (33:16):
But maybe in the maybe in the Virginia, you know,
down south. I don't remember that line that.

Speaker 2 (33:21):
Yeah, we both don't remember.

Speaker 3 (33:23):
Ye had the story and everything, all right, So you
don't feel you feel like they were though light shots.
Jim Jones felt like it too, of course. So now
Jim is asking you kush and talk, would you respond.

Speaker 10 (33:36):
Man, Yeah, in that kind of way, I would probably
keep it the same way, keeping it like that into
it until it escalate.

Speaker 6 (33:44):
Can we expect a response from Jim Jones?

Speaker 3 (33:48):
You never know, I feel like push. You gotta come
at Maino two like you gotta yeah, all through the.

Speaker 6 (33:53):
Whole, that's whole true. Sure you don't work in the
lushia you no, no, you know who next?

Speaker 2 (34:05):
You st are?

Speaker 6 (34:05):
You working now?

Speaker 3 (34:06):
I'm not working out all right? When we come back
up under the radar, it's way up in Angelayee.

Speaker 9 (34:14):
The news news edition, the news that relates to you.
These stories are flying under the radar.

Speaker 3 (34:21):
What's up? It's way up at the Angela Yee, I
Angela Yee. And Jasmine from the Jasmine brand is here.

Speaker 6 (34:26):
Happy Wednesday, Yes, okay.

Speaker 5 (34:29):
Wednesday when Mana was here. It is a wealth Wednesday.

Speaker 7 (34:34):
Yes.

Speaker 3 (34:34):
And Menos Jeweler is joining us for wealth Wednesday, by
the way, ask stone. Okay, all right, now let's do
these under the radar stories. A study published in nineteen
seventy one reveals that the length of your nose was
considered an indicator of peni side in ancient Roman society.

Speaker 5 (34:51):
So they said that explains my nose.

Speaker 3 (34:54):
Amputation was a popular Roman punishment for criminals found guilty
of adultery or sex offenses at that time. Oh my goodness.

Speaker 8 (35:00):
So they if you were found guilty of committing adulttery,
they would cut your nose off.

Speaker 3 (35:05):
Yeah. Now, the relation between no side and penis wasn't
proven scientifically until last year. A team of Japanese researchers
claimed in their study that men having big noses are
likely to have longer penises.

Speaker 8 (35:18):
Interesting, I'm trying to now I am now, I'm in
my mind thinking if any if any man that I've
been with with a big nose has a longer, longer penis,
And I don't know, I don't think I've ever dated
anybody that had a really big nose.

Speaker 3 (35:33):
Right, research is believe that in the future that said
he could play a crucial role in explaining the growth
pattern of male genitals, their relation with facial features, and
evaluating male sex hormone levels and babies before birth.

Speaker 5 (35:44):
So that's all of these things.

Speaker 8 (35:46):
Big nose, big hoes. Angela, You ever been with someone
that had a big nose and a big penis.

Speaker 3 (35:50):
I never paid attention to someone's nose size like that,
but I can think of some people who have small
note button noses and.

Speaker 2 (35:58):
Well, here's the thing.

Speaker 8 (35:59):
If you want to throw I could just hit the
group chat with a mano. No we did not to know,
but no, no, we've heard about Mano. We've never heard
anything bad.

Speaker 5 (36:10):
Have we ever heard anything bad about you?

Speaker 11 (36:12):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (36:12):
Okay, put some respect on my name.

Speaker 3 (36:15):
We shall and we will. Okay, absolutely, all right, all
right now, let's talk about this woman who divorced her
dying husband. Yana fry At forty years old, wed her
late husband when she was twenty two years old. She
wanted to start a family with him, but she found
out that her husband was diagnosed with testicular cancer. She said,
we couldn't really think about our future. How can you

(36:36):
plan for your future as a newly married couple when
you're struggling with something like cancer. And so she was
living in New York City with her husband. She said
no one was worried about how she was doing during
this difficult time. She said, nobody ever asked her do
you need a support system? Are you part of a
counseling group? So he continued his treatment for his cancer.
The disease only got worse, and she said she was

(36:56):
hoping for the best with her ex husband's cancer, but
then years went by and she started to lose hope.
Five years with all the treatment, it started to change
the dynamics within their relationship, and she said she was
motivated to finally leave him after a friend took their
own life.

Speaker 5 (37:10):
She said, it was my first funeral.

Speaker 3 (37:11):
It was very shocking, and it was in my mind
at that time suicide became an option, even though I
had never considered that before.

Speaker 5 (37:17):
She was in a bad state. So she did end
up leaving her dying husband.

Speaker 3 (37:21):
And I know what can sound really harsh when you
just hear the story, like I left my dying husband,
But after she I guess explains all of this, you know.
She said, at the beginning of his treatment, he was
still checking on me, but he felt even more pity
for himself because of the divorce, because she did file
for divorce and he was stunned. She said his main
focus was more and more so about him. And she

(37:43):
said society made it seem like she was a terrible person.
She was getting horrible messages and her husband's family was disappointed.

Speaker 8 (37:51):
People don't think about the caretakers in a lot of situations.
So I can kind of understand her, you know. She
she was miserable.

Speaker 2 (38:00):
Yes, she should have been left.

Speaker 3 (38:02):
All right, Well, that is you're under the radar, and
don't forget. We got the way up mixed coming at
the top of the hour plus Oscar Stone. He is
a Jeweler's jeweler from the Bronx, from the Bronx joining
us for Wealth Wednesday. And we need to talk about
this right because a lot of people want to buy
a jewelry. How do you know what to buy, what
holds its value, what doesn't, how do you know what's real,

(38:24):
what's not? Insurance all of those things. It's way up
at Angela Yee. She's like the talk like they Angela Jean,
like they Angela Jee.

Speaker 7 (38:31):
Man, she's spilling it all. This is yet way up.

Speaker 3 (38:37):
Yes, it's way up at Angela Yee. I'm Angela Yee.
And Jasmine from the Jasmine Brand is here.

Speaker 6 (38:42):
I'm not just brand, I'm my own brand.

Speaker 3 (38:45):
Mano is here. May and let's get into this yet,
Larsa Pippin is gonna get half of Scottie Pippen's retirement. Yes,
according to new legal documents that was attained by the blast,
it was an order to put in place by in
La County Court and that is specifying her rights to
his four oh one K and savings plan trust. Okay,

(39:07):
so she is being recognized as Scottie Pipan's ex wife.

Speaker 1 (39:09):
She is.

Speaker 5 (39:10):
He married her in nineteen ninety seven.

Speaker 3 (39:12):
The official data separation is November third, twenty sixteen, so
she was legally awarded fifty percent of all account balances
as of the plan's valuation, aount closest to the date
of their separation.

Speaker 2 (39:23):
Okay, valiation was a person.

Speaker 3 (39:26):
But that's California. It's normal.

Speaker 6 (39:28):
Angela.

Speaker 8 (39:28):
When she was on your show, you interviewed her. I
recalled her saying how she kind of helped the household,
and she helped him with his business and stuff like that.

Speaker 6 (39:35):
So it's not like she was just doing nothing all
these and they have children together.

Speaker 2 (39:40):
You're pretty sure she was doing a lot.

Speaker 6 (39:41):
Okay, may no, I oh, such a hater.

Speaker 3 (39:44):
Well, and you know, sometimes people do sacrifice to raise
the children and be home. That is a job in itself, and.

Speaker 6 (39:51):
She didn't have her own personal career. She was kind
of in his spotlight.

Speaker 3 (39:54):
So she deserves it. And that's the valuation from twenty sixteen.
So if the value of that goes goes up, you'll
just get the valuation of half of that.

Speaker 2 (40:01):
From then, okay, steps all over that man, all right.

Speaker 3 (40:05):
Now, fans are convinced Travis Scott is dating Sizza. Man,
know you've been on so there is what.

Speaker 2 (40:17):
A little I know.

Speaker 5 (40:20):
And people are saying that they would make a great couple.
You know, it makes sense.

Speaker 3 (40:24):
But some people are saying Sissy and travers Travis are
just friends and there's no real Kylie is dating someone
else right now, Timothy Shalamat, is that how you say
his name? I don't know.

Speaker 6 (40:38):
Yeah.

Speaker 8 (40:39):
So if you if you look at the Jazz and
Brands Instagram page, you can see the chemistry between.

Speaker 2 (40:44):
Oh, this is chemistry. This is chemistry.

Speaker 3 (40:46):
You look on our Ada.

Speaker 8 (40:49):
We have footage on the Jazz and Brands Instagram and
you see the chemistry between Travis Scott and Sissa. Really
and Maino is so jealous because he loves Sissah.

Speaker 2 (40:58):
I like Sis.

Speaker 10 (40:59):
I think she's a dope artists and I think she's
very attractive, bodacious.

Speaker 3 (41:04):
I like that word. All right. NBA young boy is
responding to the granddaughter of John Gotti after she had
some words for him following her but Floyd Mayweather junior.
Remember she wrote Nikola that Gotti wrote, Floyd Mayweather, your
daughter was ran through by an animal with twelve different
baby mamas, your little circus animal. You're all a pack
of zoo animals. I swear my kids, I'm coming for

(41:27):
your daughter. And maybe two years, three years from now,
but I'm coming. I felt like that definitely had racists.

Speaker 2 (41:33):
Of course, under absolutely well.

Speaker 5 (41:37):
NBA young boy said nothing until last night in a video.
Here's what he had to say, gotty.

Speaker 15 (41:43):
Daughter, I'm gonna tell you like this, I hope you
do that. The words away two three years from now,
I don't know my business.

Speaker 11 (41:51):
I hate that.

Speaker 15 (41:52):
And when it come to daddy and they don't need
to be in my mentors, I don't walk with him.

Speaker 2 (41:57):
Your brother lost to fight. I a love your daddy.

Speaker 15 (42:00):
Next time you ever disrespect me, y'all gonna have to
bomb me of a blessed day, beautiful.

Speaker 6 (42:06):
How you have a blessed day beautiful?

Speaker 2 (42:09):
Idolize your daddy.

Speaker 8 (42:10):
That's not the response I expect it. I expect him
to be like, don't be you know, don't be coming
for me to go at her. Don't becoming a yeah
you're like that.

Speaker 6 (42:20):
That's not what I expect it.

Speaker 3 (42:21):
Yeah, not at all.

Speaker 6 (42:22):
What do you say?

Speaker 3 (42:23):
Have a blessed day? Beautiful? All right? Now, Lotto has
revealed that she is going to skip another round of
body enhancing surgery and instead she hired a personal training.
She's on the covered Cosmopolitan and she talked about her
body image. She said surgery gives speedy results, but people
still have to take care of their body.

Speaker 5 (42:40):
She got a BBL in twenty twenty.

Speaker 3 (42:42):
She also got three sixty LiPo that's her stomach, backsides,
and a whole tour. So but you do have to
maintain it. You see what it looks like when people
don't maintain it. She also talked about keeping her boyfriend's
identity private. She opened up about that and why staying
off the grid is important to her. She said that
something is special to me, I'm going to keep it
close to me because everything else has to be front
and center about my life. And she does say that

(43:04):
he does not consistently show up to surprise her, but uh,
you know, he does it regularly. It's not a consistent thing,
but he does it regularly because he also values her privacy.
So you know, the more he shows up, the more
people are like, oh luk, who's here? But you will
surprise her. She said, I think we find the beauty
and separation because sometimes it makes us miss each other.
My privacy is more important than seeing him in the crowd.

(43:24):
I can have people putting two and two together. This
is the longest relationship I've been in. Okay, And I
just sent you Jasmine before this even came out, our
article about how studies have shown that keeping that personal
in private is actually better for your relationship, and showing
a person too much really shows that you need validation.

(43:45):
We're going to discuss that will happen to know, Okay,
it's the way you put Angela. Ye, let's discuss when
we come back.

Speaker 7 (43:53):
Going way outnut with Angela.

Speaker 3 (43:56):
Good morning, I was here, yes afternoon is okay, And
we were talking earlier about Lotto. She's on the cover
of Cosmopolitan and she talks about why she keeps her
boyfriend's identity private. She said, staying off the grid is
important to her, and this is the longest relationship that
she's been in, and she just feels like her privacy
is more important. She has to put everything else out there,

(44:18):
why not keep that close to herself?

Speaker 15 (44:20):
Right? I like that.

Speaker 2 (44:21):
I agree.

Speaker 3 (44:22):
She also said she's not the jealous type. She said,
I've let him have his time and he lets me
have mine. We trust each other. When he's at home,
like now, he's probably gambling with his friends. I let
him do him. We've built that trust, and I think
people will probably be caught off guard, are shocked at
who I am in a relationship versus my public persona. Now,
do you think they're a long distance or you think
they're in the same state. You're in the same place. Okay,
she said, he's at home. They live in the same

(44:43):
place together. Oh, they live together? Oh got it? Now.
Northwestern University found that those who posted more frequently about
their partner actually feel insecure in their relationship.

Speaker 2 (44:56):
I believe it.

Speaker 3 (44:57):
Yes, So, they said, they're convincing others to convince themselves.
When two people constantly post inside jokes, confess their love
for each other, or share pictures of themselves doing fun
and romantic activities, it's a ploy to convince everyone else
they're in a happy and healthy relationship, which is really
just a way to trick themselves into thinking they're in
a happy and healthy relationship.

Speaker 5 (45:18):
Interesting, and it means that people are seeking validation.

Speaker 3 (45:21):
And they said people who post more often are more
likely to be psychopathic and narcissistic. That's a strong word. Yeah,
So they said, the more that you post or engage
on social media, the more likely you are to be narcissistic.
Couples who post a lot tend to be insecure. After
surveying more than one hundred couples, researchers from Northwestern University
found that those who posted more frequently about their partner

(45:42):
actually feel insecure, and couples are better off when they keep.

Speaker 5 (45:45):
Arguments offline too.

Speaker 3 (45:46):
You know, you don't see them couples arguing online and
you're like, oh my god, in the house. And when
you're happy, you don't get distracted by social media. And
they said those who post more often on social media
rely on their relationship for happiness validation. So couples that
are genuinely happy also do not need validation. They don't
have anything to prove, they don't need to show off,

(46:07):
make anyone just jealous, keep tabs on their significant other.
They're so secure and content in their relationship that there's
no need to gush about it. Preach, preach now, I
will say.

Speaker 5 (46:19):
Though, and conclusion and conclusion certain people, they just be
trying to be low.

Speaker 6 (46:23):
But have you ever posted your significant other on social media?

Speaker 5 (46:31):
Angela, Yes, I have, but I haven't posted them and
been like this, my.

Speaker 6 (46:34):
Man, my man, my man, my man, man, how did
you post them?

Speaker 5 (46:37):
I'm just a regular post absolutely regular.

Speaker 2 (46:41):
I don't Listen.

Speaker 10 (46:42):
I believe that people should keep their business to themselves
because when you when you start posting things, you start posting,
you know, the person that you're with, you opening doors
for critique or you know, people to start coming and getting.

Speaker 2 (46:54):
In your business.

Speaker 3 (46:55):
Yeah. My main thing is sometimes things happen, and I
don't want people going to attack my man because something
that somebody said about me or something that somebody got
a problem with me. Listen, there's all kind of fake
accounts of people going and posting things about me and all.
You know, it's quite obvious when somebody has zero followers,
zero posts, they have a weird name like O three

(47:15):
to H two picture yeah, and then they're like going
on every post leaving things about you.

Speaker 5 (47:21):
And I just feel like, you know, if you want
to come for me, come for me, but leave him
out of it.

Speaker 6 (47:27):
That's fair.

Speaker 10 (47:28):
I feel like we got off the subject just a
little bit, just a tad bit, But I understand when
you was going with that, you went off the defense.

Speaker 5 (47:35):
Just part of not posting my man is that I
don't want people like me coming and like going.

Speaker 2 (47:40):
You don't want him none of your smoke.

Speaker 6 (47:42):
Yeah, she says she can take all her own smoke.

Speaker 11 (47:44):
God.

Speaker 3 (47:44):
That's also because I just don't think it's fair, like
somebody that doesn't sign up to be in that position
and now. And I also feel like people who love
you be more mad than you do about things. They
can't handle it the way that you can. So like,
you's not be mad and want to go find someone.
I'm just like, it's cool.

Speaker 6 (48:00):
No, don't want to be posted because he don't want
to get caught up. May let you know.

Speaker 3 (48:04):
Maya will let you know.

Speaker 6 (48:05):
I'm not faithful.

Speaker 3 (48:07):
Don't go on my phone.

Speaker 6 (48:08):
Whatever you think you're gonna find, you're gonna find what
they said I did, I did.

Speaker 3 (48:13):
It said he's trying to do better, but listen. So yes,
for those reasons, But I do feel like people who
post their relationship a lot and try to show off
and show a lot of people try to show perfection,
make it look like this is what I got and
it's more for the gram, And I feel like, how
do you not.

Speaker 5 (48:32):
Just enjoy those moments?

Speaker 8 (48:33):
Let me ask you thisself, do you purposely not? Like
say you go on vacation with your man and your
girls and stuff, do you purposely not? Or would you
just if you slap as a slip in there, you.

Speaker 2 (48:42):
Could do it. Just don't overdo it.

Speaker 3 (48:44):
Overdo it all right? I feel like because even when
we go on vacation, I don't even really be like
some every now and then y'all would be like, yo,
we should post something, you know, like here to take
a picture post And I did that to you too,
But we don't necessarily think like I'm having so much fun,
let me post this. It's just like you know, I
want to do this. Or sometimes we get camp to
trip and you need to post and you don't have

(49:05):
a choice.

Speaker 6 (49:05):
The more fun we have, the less pictures. If feel
like we take yeah, more tipsy we are, the less
pictures come out.

Speaker 2 (49:10):
Yeah I'm not I'm not posting the real stuff.

Speaker 3 (49:12):
But I'm gonna tell you. You know, when Jasmine's on
a date, if there's two drinks and she take a
picture of the two drinks next to each other.

Speaker 6 (49:21):
Really quick.

Speaker 3 (49:24):
Wednesday, we do have jeweler ask A Stone joining us.
That is Maino's jeweler. We're gonna talk about that. It's
way up with Angela yee.

Speaker 7 (49:33):
You ride a way up with Angela.

Speaker 15 (49:35):
Ye.

Speaker 3 (49:36):
It's way up at Angela yee, Angela yee. And Jasmine
from the Jasmine brand is here.

Speaker 6 (49:41):
What's so funny?

Speaker 3 (49:42):
Angela?

Speaker 5 (49:42):
I'm gonn tell you on a second. Mayo's here.

Speaker 6 (49:45):
Everybody's eating but me.

Speaker 3 (49:47):
Why so we just and you ordered the food. We
just did this topic about Lotto saying she keeps her
boyfriend's identity private. And then we discussed couples who don't
post each other, who don't share their relationship like that
on social media, usually the happiest. And then I just
googled Mano kissing. Let me encourage all that whole hold on,
hold on Google kissing things. This is ridiculous kissing. Oh wow,

(50:17):
a black He's even part of an article in by
twenty rappers. Kissing. Oh who's this right here?

Speaker 2 (50:27):
Wow?

Speaker 3 (50:27):
Okay, anyway, that's why, oh my gosh wow. Thing about
Meno this is funny. If y'all know him, you know
every time he denies something or says that all you
gonna do is google it?

Speaker 7 (50:39):
Wow?

Speaker 3 (50:40):
Soon do google it?

Speaker 20 (50:43):
Yo?

Speaker 2 (50:44):
You talking and you're talking. This is crazy.

Speaker 7 (50:48):
Did you do this?

Speaker 11 (50:49):
Wow?

Speaker 6 (50:49):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (50:50):
Yeah, Google?

Speaker 6 (50:50):
What's the google? Maino kissing?

Speaker 2 (50:52):
Okay, it's crazy that this is inflammatory.

Speaker 6 (50:58):
Mano likes the tongue.

Speaker 2 (50:59):
Kids, it's not.

Speaker 5 (51:00):
It's not a French kiss. You remember your first French kiss?

Speaker 3 (51:05):
I do me too. I didn't know what I was doing.
I didn't either. First of all, his name me?

Speaker 6 (51:10):
What was his name?

Speaker 3 (51:10):
Angela? I'm Freddie Okay. Mine's name was Terrence. Okay?

Speaker 6 (51:15):
And Mayno, do you.

Speaker 8 (51:16):
Remember the first young lady that you kissed like that
real kiss? Well, we can just look at someones on
on the internet and beyon safe internet.

Speaker 3 (51:24):
This internet is crazy, AI, I want to say this,
Mayo is a passionate kiss.

Speaker 5 (51:29):
You could tell by.

Speaker 6 (51:34):
Look like a passionate.

Speaker 3 (51:37):
I could tell about how he ate that Rice.

Speaker 10 (51:40):
I mean, listen, y'all, I've been shooting at me all morning,
ever since I found out that I wouldn't have a
job no more.

Speaker 11 (51:49):
This is crazy.

Speaker 5 (51:50):
Well, good thing you've invested in jewelry and jeweler.

Speaker 3 (51:52):
When we come backscar Stone is going to be here,
and if you look at me, and you can also
see that he does invest in some jewelry and we're
gonna get some jewels. What about that? It's way up
at Angela Yee kind of dream of wealthy and.

Speaker 13 (52:04):
I don't mind sharing my wealth dog getting you straight financially,
mentally and physically.

Speaker 7 (52:09):
This is wealth Wednesday on way up with Angela ye.

Speaker 3 (52:12):
What's up? Its about yup? But Angela ye, I'm Angela
Yee and it is a wealth Wednesday. And if you know,
you know, Mano invests in some jewelry, So today we
got his jeweler ask a stone here. Hey, how are
we doing?

Speaker 7 (52:22):
You guys?

Speaker 6 (52:22):
Thank you so much for having me.

Speaker 5 (52:24):
Now, what is that that you're wearing?

Speaker 3 (52:25):
So I am wearing a sixty.

Speaker 24 (52:27):
Well, my centerpiece is a sixty carrot, but get two
tone chain okay, okay. It retails for about say fifty
sixty thousand dollars around there, okay. And my second centerpiece
is my bust down sky dweller, getting thirty carrots on that.

Speaker 3 (52:41):
Well, I'm glad you said the bust down sky dweller
because Mano and I were having this conversation right now.
They always tell you that when you do that to
your watches and your jewelry you quote bust down, which
is adding diamonds and gems to it, it actually decreases
the value. So I want to hear from you what
you have to say for people that come in and
they're like, I want my watch like this, what does
it do to the value?

Speaker 24 (53:02):
Okay, So when you put diamonds on a watch, you're
really doing it for your own pleasure. You're doing it
because it's a certain lifestyle, it's a certain look that
you're going for. It's a certain thing that you want,
and a lot of things in that spectrum aren't quote
unquote investments. Like if you want the biggest investment in jewelry,
buy gold bars. Okay, it's not wearable, Like the closest

(53:23):
thing to investment jewelry.

Speaker 2 (53:24):
Is to buy gold bars, straight up gold balls.

Speaker 24 (53:26):
And but when you bust on a watch, to answer
your question more directly, do you lose value? I mean
it depends who you're selling it to. Some people don't
see the value in the diamonds. Some people don't have
the clientele to resell it. So for them, it's easy
to say that they don't have Oh, it does lose value.
You know, it's much easier to you know, move a plane,
watch it's so much easier to sell a car that
hasn't been touched.

Speaker 15 (53:46):
Right, you know.

Speaker 3 (53:47):
Okay, so the value really makes sense, you know, but
it's also nice to know that it still has value
and it will you know, let me ask you this.

Speaker 5 (53:53):
But the pandemic happened, right, what was business?

Speaker 3 (53:56):
Because I know in certain places things were going up,
but then a lot of people but things. The value
ended up, yeah, way up, but then the value ended
up coming back down because people have money to spend
during that time, some people.

Speaker 24 (54:07):
So it's basically what's going on right now is a
market correction, you know what I'm saying. So you know,
when there's a lot of money in the market, you
guys are you know, and people are spending it on
a certain thing, that value is going to go up.
It's the law of supplying the man. And now that
there's a lot less money in the market, everything's coming down.
Not just jewelry, but you know, really you know cars
and they yeah, exactly real esafe, so you know, and.

Speaker 3 (54:29):
A lot of people just think diamonds when they think
about buying jewelry. What are some other gems that are
worthwhile for people to invest in?

Speaker 2 (54:36):
All the stones the stone to invest in.

Speaker 24 (54:39):
I honestly think diamonds are the best because there's so
many buyers and sellers of that particular gemstone.

Speaker 3 (54:46):
Other investments that you could look into.

Speaker 24 (54:47):
You know, you got emeralds, you have soft buires, you
have rubies, you know, and some actually go they're worth
more than diamonds. But in the diamond market, there's just
so many players. So if you really are trying to
come in from investment standpoint and have the best footing, it,
I say, goes straight ice.

Speaker 2 (55:02):
And there's there's a difference in diamonds though, right you
got VF VVS. Yeah, that's the clarity of the diamond.

Speaker 24 (55:09):
You got clarity, you got cut, you got color, and
then finally you have carrot.

Speaker 2 (55:13):
The highest grade is what the bvs. The highest grade
is actually flow flawless.

Speaker 5 (55:19):
So it's not the size of it. It's the cut,
the cut, the clarity.

Speaker 24 (55:23):
It's a combination of the four seas, okay, and the
right combination will yield you the high the highest investment.

Speaker 3 (55:29):
As far as color, because we see all these different
colored diamonds black diamonds, yellow diamonds, purple diamonds.

Speaker 5 (55:34):
What's the most rare?

Speaker 24 (55:35):
The most rare is actually natural pink diamonds. Okay, a
natural pink diamond you throw it up on auction. You know,
you have like a four or five character you're talking
big money, natural pink belt. Okay, there's a lot of
you know, synthetics that go along with that.

Speaker 2 (55:48):
Yeah, exactly, color treated, because what they do is they
take the diamonds basically, they treat and they paint them.

Speaker 3 (55:53):
Oh so that's because I'm like, everybody got these pink diamonds, right,
I mean it depends you know some people really, you know,
but out there you know, right now we are talking
to Dueler asker Stone. Also, let me ask you this, right,
sometimes we want to go to Tiffany's, we want to
go to Cardier. We want to get this expensive jewelry
from them, and part of the markup is the brand name.

(56:14):
What do you think about people who go and get like,
let's just say, the diamond, the bracelet, the Cardia bracelet
that everybody always gets, the what is it called the
love bracelet? Yeah, the love bracelet. Yeah, because I see
they also sell those like in jewelry store, independents, independent
jewelry stores. What's the difference, like, you.

Speaker 24 (56:31):
Know, I mean, it's it's hard to say what the
real difference is. When the material is the same, when
the make is almost the same, what is the difference?

Speaker 2 (56:39):
What are you actually buying?

Speaker 24 (56:40):
When he comes with the brand name exactly the brand name,
and for some people that means a lot, and that's cool, right,
you know. But when you have a relationship with the
independent jeweler and you can not pay the highest price,
that's why. That's why people in my industry we exist
independent jewelers. When we have a relationship with someone like
me with my company, we really do make things happen.

Speaker 3 (57:01):
We really do open doors. Now, I've never had like
my own jeweler that I go to, so I never
really know what I'm doing, right, So let's talk about
this because I was actually in the Diamond District in
New York the other day. I was a Jasmine my
friend Jazzmin, and she was she was like, I want
to get some airrings. I never know, like, because I
think you go in there and we were haggling prices.
You're taught to do that, right, they always tell you

(57:23):
when you go.

Speaker 7 (57:25):
Life Street.

Speaker 3 (57:28):
But I don't know enough about it, but I know
that that's what you're supposed to do. They come out
to you with a price, and then you're supposed to
go lower.

Speaker 6 (57:33):
You got the guys outside, yes, and.

Speaker 5 (57:35):
Then you are for cast and you pretend to walk
away just in case.

Speaker 6 (57:38):
You know what, make sure you put your handle the door.
That's the last one to handle the door.

Speaker 15 (57:43):
You got it.

Speaker 5 (57:43):
So how do we know what's legitimate and what's not?

Speaker 4 (57:47):
Like?

Speaker 3 (57:48):
What are some tips that you can give people like
me who might have which I don't have to wear
about this anymore now, But maybe I'm going some place
and I'm trying to get some jewelry and I'm like, man,
I don't have a jeweler. I don't know what's legitimate
what's not. I'm trying to have gole prices. I don't
even know what I'm doing.

Speaker 24 (58:04):
There's a lot of information out there, and you can
hit up YouTube, you can hit up the web pages.
But just like any other time you do business, referral
like who has done business with this individual already? Like
how credible is this person? If the guys open up
shop less than three months ago, that one's kind of
on you. You know, you got to do your research,
you know.

Speaker 3 (58:21):
All right, let's talk about insurance for a second, because
that is something that people need to actually be more
aware of when you're buying.

Speaker 5 (58:28):
So talk about insurance when you need to get it.
What should be insured?

Speaker 3 (58:31):
Maybe there's some things you're like, yeah, maybe it's not
worth ensuring, or is everything worth insuring?

Speaker 24 (58:35):
Everything is worth insuring? Of course that's the easy answer,
right And my business, my policy for my staff is
if the purchase was ten thousand, we automatically recommend it,
you know, because we don't want our customers to go
out there and be unprotected.

Speaker 3 (58:49):
Can you give us an idea of range of what
insurance costs, because I think some people might not know
that either. So say it's a ten thousand dollars bracelet,
what would that cost to ensure it really.

Speaker 24 (58:59):
Is as much as you think it'd be for a
ten thousand dollars item, I'd say your premium could be
about three four hundred bucks for the year. It's it's
really almost a no brainer, especially when the transaction, you know,
starts becoming twenty thousand, thirty thousand. A peace of mind
is really the most important.

Speaker 5 (59:17):
Thing would that be covered under like homeowners insurance too.

Speaker 3 (59:19):
Let's just say you have jewelery in the home, somebody
breaks in and steals it, homeowner's insurance would cover yeah.

Speaker 24 (59:25):
That So if you have homeowners insurance with Geico State Farm,
you know, look at your look at your policy. See
what they really kind of covered. If they only cover
it in the home, how about out the home? Right,
Jeweler's Mutual They that's all they do, insurance specifically specifically
jewelius in.

Speaker 2 (59:42):
The home, at the home, in the home, out the home.
Whatever it is.

Speaker 3 (59:45):
You know, it's a Wealth Wednesday and we are talking
to ask ustone. He is Manos Doula. But he's also
giving us all kinds of great tips and advice when
it comes to investing.

Speaker 5 (59:53):
It's way up with Angela Ye. We got more with
ask us doone when we come back.

Speaker 13 (59:56):
Kind of dream of wealthy and I don't mind sharing
my will health dog getting you straight financially, mentally and physically.

Speaker 7 (01:00:03):
This is wealth Wednesday on way up with Angela Yee.

Speaker 3 (01:00:06):
What's up it's about? But Angela Yee, I'm Angela Yee,
And it is a wealth Wednesday. And if you know
you know, Mano invest in some jewelry. So today we
got his jeweler ask a stone here. Now, have you
ever had somebody come to you to get an appraisal
and found out that something was not real? Let's just
say in a relationship, somebody proposed and they came to
you and like, I need an appraisal. I want to

(01:00:27):
add this, and you're like, ma'am, I hate to tell
you this. This is not real.

Speaker 24 (01:00:31):
It's an everyday thing.

Speaker 6 (01:00:32):
It's in everything.

Speaker 24 (01:00:34):
It's four or five, six, seven, eight times a day.

Speaker 3 (01:00:37):
That often.

Speaker 5 (01:00:38):
That often that has to be heartbreaking something the.

Speaker 2 (01:00:41):
Scenario though, I mean, I'm coming in there, well man
coming in there with a gift.

Speaker 6 (01:00:47):
It's usually not just for insurance.

Speaker 3 (01:00:49):
It's usually just hay, like is this real?

Speaker 24 (01:00:51):
I got this gifted for me by my you know,
significant other.

Speaker 3 (01:00:55):
What can a person do to protect themselves from buying
something that's not knowing Because we've wrote stories of people
going to jewelers and being told something was yeah, it
was where, or was more valuable than than you would I.

Speaker 24 (01:01:07):
Could give you the honest answer. The honest answer is
when you buy jewelry, walk around with your own goal
testing kid and your own diamond tester kid and your
own CVD laboratory makings. But that just seems so unrealistic
about that. Yeah, you can't do all that, you know.
So that's why my answer to your initial question before
was just by credible.

Speaker 5 (01:01:25):
Who have been some of your top clients?

Speaker 24 (01:01:27):
Some of my top clients. Actually, one of my first
and one of my favorite top clients was a couple
of tennis chains for Scott Dissick. Okay, yeah, Scott, Yeah,
flew out uh to l A, you know, glinked up
with him, delivered him one of my first probably I
would say my favorite because because my first like we're
kind of like on that you know level, you know,
so and.

Speaker 3 (01:01:47):
Mano Mano Mayo can't forget.

Speaker 2 (01:01:52):
Anyway, how did they hold up? My man pulled up
on us and uh, you know they chapped it up.

Speaker 3 (01:01:58):
We just chopped it up organic, you know, and it
went the ricks.

Speaker 2 (01:02:01):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:02:03):
Rix Cabaret like, man, it was like why do you
know that? MANA was like why do you notice if
you want?

Speaker 6 (01:02:09):
Man, this is crazy?

Speaker 3 (01:02:13):
Rix Cabaret.

Speaker 6 (01:02:14):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:02:15):
In the daytime, early talk business and now what if someone.

Speaker 3 (01:02:18):
Comes to you and it's like, look, I want to
propose but I don't know how much I should be
spending on the ring. What is the general rule?

Speaker 5 (01:02:25):
Because I've heard three months of salary.

Speaker 3 (01:02:26):
That's the that's the that's the rule of everyone. Yeah,
right now we are talking to a duel er, ask
a stone. So what do you recommend to people? If
they come in and they're like, look, you know, financial
situation is a little tough. Right now, we're saying for this,
for that, we want to eventually be able to buy
a house, be able to move, we have a baby
on the way.

Speaker 5 (01:02:47):
How much should I spend on a ring?

Speaker 24 (01:02:48):
My first answer is, you know by what you can afford, right,
you know, by what you can afford. Love don't have
a price. You know you really love someone, you want
to show that you get them a ring.

Speaker 6 (01:02:56):
Doesn't matter what kind of ring.

Speaker 24 (01:02:58):
You know, if you're asking me, like as a as
a jeweler, okay, man, you're a jeweler, now, all right,
I would say somewhere in the eight to ten thousand
dollars range would get you something that, you know, like
a full character, you know, something where the diamond, the
center stone isn't too small, like it's the right size.

Speaker 3 (01:03:13):
Her friends are going to be like, ooh, and that's
the thing.

Speaker 24 (01:03:15):
Yeah, because you know, the friends exist and the family exists,
and I know that that ring is.

Speaker 6 (01:03:19):
Going to be shown to one hundred people, right, which
is why okay.

Speaker 3 (01:03:22):
Because it represents you too. What is the most popular
cut that people come in and ask for when they're
proposing the roundcut?

Speaker 24 (01:03:28):
The classic grounds been the most popular ever since the
conception of engagement ring, you know, actually engaging rings.

Speaker 3 (01:03:35):
Started getting popularized, like back in the sixties. Oh really, yeah,
I feel.

Speaker 6 (01:03:38):
Like it fairly recent.

Speaker 3 (01:03:39):
But ask how can people find you on social media
in case they have more questions, in case they need
to you know, maybe even come and if you're not
in New York, right, people can also order from you
too and correspond with you that way.

Speaker 11 (01:03:51):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:03:51):
Absolutely do.

Speaker 24 (01:03:52):
We have a lot of you know, clients out of
the out of the state, and we even have some
clients out of the country. We're on YouTube on TikTok,
but our main social media place from is Instagram. On Instagram,
I do have a staff of ten metigulously watching all
the dms. So if you write something to us on Instagram,
we will see it and we will do our best
to what's that page Oscar Stone, NYC.

Speaker 5 (01:04:12):
Okay Stone, Well, thank you so much.

Speaker 3 (01:04:15):
Mano wanted to do this well Wednesday, and I did too, because,
like I said, I've never had like a jeweler like that,
so it's just good for me to be able to
be more educated. And you're right. Referrals and making sure
that you have somebody good in your corner some of
the most important things that you can do when it
comes to doing this, because these are investments, you know,
no matter what, you want to make sure when you're
buying jewelry and spending your harder money that you're getting

(01:04:36):
what you're paying.

Speaker 24 (01:04:37):
For monetary emotional investment. You know, you have to make
sure you're buying with the right person.

Speaker 5 (01:04:41):
All right, Well, thank you so much.

Speaker 3 (01:04:43):
Askar Stone. Ladies and gentlemen.

Speaker 5 (01:04:44):
It's way up at Angela Yee West Wednesday when we
come back.

Speaker 3 (01:04:47):
We have asked ye and I'm here with the award
winning advice giver Mayo, so make sure you call us up.
Eight hundred two ninety two fifty one fifty is way
up at Angela Yee.

Speaker 9 (01:04:57):
Hoday with it's relationship for career advice, Angela's dropping facts
you should you should.

Speaker 3 (01:05:02):

Speaker 7 (01:05:04):

brand is here, New Mano is here, New Mano, and
it's time for ask ye And we do have our
expert award winning advice giver Maino, so you have me.
He can't judge you and he can respond here eight
hundred two nine two isn't ever?

Speaker 6 (01:05:20):
Hey?

Speaker 2 (01:05:22):
Hey, Hey, who's this?

Speaker 15 (01:05:23):
What up?

Speaker 2 (01:05:24):
Mana?

Speaker 7 (01:05:24):
Jazmine?

Speaker 23 (01:05:25):
What ye?

Speaker 6 (01:05:26):
Hey?

Speaker 3 (01:05:27):
Brandon?

Speaker 5 (01:05:28):
What's your question for asking?

Speaker 15 (01:05:29):
Ye?

Speaker 11 (01:05:30):
Oh?

Speaker 12 (01:05:30):
My question is I met a girl on a cruise
and we have the liking for each other. The only
issue is that we live in different states. We're still talking.
I'm not sure if long distant relationship would work for me,
but I'm just wondering if I should give it a try.

Speaker 3 (01:05:48):
Oh, I mean, if you like her enough, I don't
see anything. I'm gonna give us something to try. What's
the worst thing that happens if you try it doesn't work,
that's the worst thing, And the best thing is it does.

Speaker 6 (01:05:58):
How long is long distance? Were you a where's the
young lady?

Speaker 12 (01:06:02):
New York and Florida?

Speaker 2 (01:06:04):
How did y'all meet you? Was on a cruise with
somebody else, and she was with somebody else.

Speaker 6 (01:06:09):
I wasn't.

Speaker 12 (01:06:10):
Were learning on a cruise with our significant others, just
suff family.

Speaker 3 (01:06:15):
I mean, look, at the.

Speaker 5 (01:06:16):
End of the day, try it and if it's for you,
it's for you.

Speaker 3 (01:06:19):
But I just feel like, and I told Jasmine this
the other day, if you really like somebody, that's a
rare thing to find, right when you have a connection
with someone, and maybe somebody will move later on. Maybe
you guys will enjoy visiting each other, maybe you can
go on trips together. But the time that you take
to get to know each other on the phone, on FaceTime,

(01:06:39):
doing all of those things is definitely valuable and can
make you even get.

Speaker 5 (01:06:43):
To know each other better. So when you see each
other it's always like magic.

Speaker 3 (01:06:46):
And also great.

Speaker 8 (01:06:47):
Places to be New York and Florida that's a great
place to Both of them are are cool places to visit.

Speaker 2 (01:06:51):
Did y'all hook up on a cruise?

Speaker 3 (01:06:53):
Here you go?

Speaker 6 (01:06:54):
May No?

Speaker 3 (01:06:57):
I could tell you by that laugh.

Speaker 6 (01:07:00):
You angel's had successful long distance relationships before?

Speaker 2 (01:07:06):
Yeah, yeah, how about you.

Speaker 8 (01:07:08):
I've never I've dated, you know, long distance, but nothing
really successful yet.

Speaker 3 (01:07:14):
Yeah, it depends. It could be really fun. But look,
I will say, Brandon, if it doesn't work, no harm,
no found. Maybe y'all will be friends, whatever, But I
feel like everything is a risk. Y'all could live in
the same house together and it don't work.

Speaker 6 (01:07:25):
That's true.

Speaker 1 (01:07:27):
M M true.

Speaker 6 (01:07:28):
Go for it, man, Yeah, we say go for it.

Speaker 7 (01:07:31):
I'm gonna do it.

Speaker 2 (01:07:33):
Nothing all right, let's go. That's like a fantasy and
minds of going to cruise and like.

Speaker 3 (01:07:39):
Meet a woman and like, have you ever been on
a cruise.

Speaker 2 (01:07:41):
I've been on a cruise for sure, I've been.

Speaker 5 (01:07:46):
Anybody can recommend it. Brandon will tell you you got
to go.

Speaker 6 (01:07:48):
Brandon Faut the love of his life.

Speaker 3 (01:07:49):
Maybe for sure.

Speaker 12 (01:07:51):
It's definitely my first time on the cruise.

Speaker 2 (01:07:53):
Now my life.

Speaker 3 (01:07:54):
Okay, don't you be trying to keep on cruising? Now
you stay on land, brother, finding different people, cruise crashing.
Thank you, Brandon, You man are ready to go on
a cruise. So I can't believe you've been.

Speaker 2 (01:08:11):
Cuise, but it was. It was a Disney cruise when
my son was small.

Speaker 3 (01:08:14):
That's cute. Listen, I hooked up with somebody on a
cruise before you tell me this.

Speaker 2 (01:08:19):
In a lot of places, you'll be honest. Man, I know,
I know I want you to be honest.

Speaker 8 (01:08:23):
You know, I judge you listen, I know you're not
talking about nobody hooking with a bunch of people sending guys.

Speaker 3 (01:08:28):
Everybody calm down, all right, when we come back, we
have last word. Okay, We're not gonna let Mano have
the last word. You guys have the last word. Eight
hundred two ninety two fifty one fifty It's way Up
with Angela.

Speaker 7 (01:08:37):
Ye, take up the phone, tapping to get your voice heard.
What the word he is the last word on Way
Up with Angela?

Speaker 15 (01:08:46):
Ye?

Speaker 5 (01:08:48):
That what's up?

Speaker 3 (01:08:49):
It's a way up with Angela Yee. I'm Angela Yee.
Jasmine from the Jasmine brand is here. I'm my own
brand new Mano. Yes, and we had a really fun
show today. Yes, I feel like we got into a
lot of different things. We talked about jewelry. We had
asked a stone up here, that's Mayno's jeweler. Yeah, you're

(01:09:10):
gonna take me there. I want to get something. I'm
not good at buying jewelry. I love when people buying
me jewelry as a gift because I'm not good at
buying it. For myself.

Speaker 6 (01:09:17):
I don't think I have any like big jewelry good
so you could buy me something?

Speaker 3 (01:09:22):
What did I do? But she still won't have anything?

Speaker 2 (01:09:25):
Buy me something?

Speaker 6 (01:09:27):
Okay, all right, man, I.

Speaker 3 (01:09:29):
Do got a ye chain and to the yee.

Speaker 6 (01:09:31):
I like your E chain.

Speaker 3 (01:09:32):
Have you been wearing it lately?

Speaker 1 (01:09:34):
No?

Speaker 3 (01:09:34):
But I'm gonna wear it tomorrow or now that you
said it, Yeah, bring it out. I got my bus
down rollie. It's a bus down, yes, a thousand percent.
It's beautiful though. Okay.

Speaker 5 (01:09:44):
My mom talks me to buy this ring the other
day when I was with.

Speaker 3 (01:09:46):
Her, but I really like it.

Speaker 6 (01:09:47):
That's pretty. Mm hmm, that's pretty.

Speaker 3 (01:09:49):
And you know, I honestly to keep it real. I
like buying your knock your earrings and stuff like that.
Are you got pair?

Speaker 6 (01:09:56):
Are these door knockers considered? Yeah?

Speaker 5 (01:09:58):
Okay, I actually got these on Canal Street.

Speaker 3 (01:10:00):
And the thing about these type of earrings is they
got to be like ten carrot or use is too soft.
So with these, they can't be like a fourteen carrot
or anything more than that. It's got to be like
ten carrot or else they'll just be too soft and
they'll bend.

Speaker 8 (01:10:12):
I bought my first thing in the Diamond District the
other day. I remember I was it too, Yeah, you bartered,
I did, and I topped them down a little bit.

Speaker 3 (01:10:18):
And I also actually made some ye earrings from Canal Street.
I had them make something to say ye in the middle.

Speaker 2 (01:10:24):
I got to get some of those you want something
from Canal Street. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:10:27):
And next year when we have the one year anniversary,
a way up with Angela yee, and we're gonna get
some way up chains that party.

Speaker 6 (01:10:33):
They're party gonna be correct.

Speaker 5 (01:10:35):
Listen, the one year anniversary party is gonna be super.

Speaker 6 (01:10:39):

ones who really make this show what it is. I
appreciate you.

Speaker 15 (01:11:21):
You know.

Speaker 3 (01:11:22):
We had some really fun things happening later on this
week too. As usual, My boy Marthia bald is coming tomorrow.
He's a comedian and he's also a writer, so he
works with Tracy Morgan a lot, and he's going to
give us some insight scoops on different things. The writer
strike is going on, but he wrote for the Last
og Okay as well. But multi talented, he's got a
lot of insight and you guys are going to enjoy him.

(01:11:43):
He's really funny. Also, we do have doctor Rob Meek
Hunt joining us. He's an obesity specialist. He actually has
an obesity clinic and so he's going to talk a
lot about these medications and things that everybody's taken out
to try to lose weight quickly. And then next week
we got to do some more real housewived stuff because
I have been watching that show. Yeah, and we got
some thanks to get into baby, But in the meantime,

(01:12:04):

nineteen fifty one fifty way.

Speaker 16 (01:12:08):

Speaker 12 (01:12:13):
You guys are gonna be like, why.

Speaker 7 (01:12:14):
Did you call the toonly I would shut up five times.

Speaker 12 (01:12:18):
In both canty and I just say I'm afraid to
tell anybody are asked for help because I'm.

Speaker 16 (01:12:26):
Afraid the girl will find me before the police find her.
I'm trying to keep it way cute. I'm trying to
keep it out. You Angela say keep you cue, but
it may not. Last day, I was turning to call
in and like, really, give y'all the key, but farewell
may No, I can't want you to come back to
the show. And they ain't missed it or I missed it,
But I think this secret right here when it was

(01:12:46):
like gotta keep it cute.

Speaker 17 (01:12:49):
I'm from Philly, No Philly, and I broke up with
my big mom and I moved in with the pul
Rican girl right next door. And I was living with them,
looking on her for like four years, and my baby
mom next door didn't even know, and so since I
worked at night, they never really knew. And we were
banging out like four years, and then we moved and

(01:13:12):
I was still banging with her, and nobody knew today.

Speaker 11 (01:13:15):
That's my little cigarette.

Speaker 7 (01:13:17):
