I have a secret. Hopefully you know my five plans.
Don't remember this, but if second grade, I had to run,
and long story short, I had to go, and I
had to go, and it was in my pans. Luckily
it was in lunchtime, so I panicked. I didn't know
what to do. So what I did was I took
off my underwear and I hit it in someone's covey.
(06:55):
But then I hit it very well at it in
the back of some with cabby and we went about
two weeks and just like the stench kept going and going.
Speaker 14 (07:03):
And going, and so, yeah, that's crazy. But under no circumstances,
you really did the right thing, bro.
Speaker 12 (07:11):
I mean your second grade, you know, second or right.
Speaker 13 (07:15):
He didn't need anything to take it to the bathroom.
Speaker 3 (07:17):
But now, why didn't you at some point take it
out of the cabby and.
Speaker 2 (07:20):
Throw it away?
Speaker 12 (07:21):
Because I was too scared because they was gonna know
it was me the whole time. So I was like,
you know what, I'm gonna just let it rock and blame.
Speaker 6 (07:26):
It on someone else.
Speaker 2 (07:27):
And then what happened when you went home and no
underwear on, Well.
Speaker 12 (07:31):
Luckily I didn't tell my mom or anything. I just
went home and put on the first pair underwear.
Speaker 15 (07:35):
I could real quick.
Speaker 13 (07:36):
You did the right thing, bro.
Speaker 2 (07:37):
What you were around when they found the underwear?
Speaker 12 (07:40):
I was, and I just acted like the rest of
the classroom. I was like, Yo, that's crazy.
Speaker 2 (07:46):
It was horrified. What disgusting kids? This that's so funny. Yeah,
all right, well, thank you for sharing, but not sharing.
Speaker 9 (07:55):

So she could be a shame and the and the
homeowners association or whatever. The community there should feel awful
for not doing anything to step in so that this
does not escalate. You should file a restraining order against
(15:49):
her as well. These are terroristic threats and she is
she's harassing you, she's racist, and you need to make
sure you take this and file a restraining order against
her so she cannot speak to you or near you.
Speaker 2 (16:00):
Or your children.
Speaker 17 (16:01):
Yeah, because you can't feel safe with somebody like that.
I it's like.

Can you file a restraining order?
Speaker 3 (16:27):
I mean, at a certain point, I think everybody needs
to know because I would also hate for something to happen,
and then it's your fault when you file a restraining order.
If something happens, you already have documented that she's been
harassing you. Well yeah, okay, and that's danger Yeah, dog,
right now.
Speaker 13 (16:48):
You should go over to have a conversation with him.
Speaker 8 (16:50):

Speaker 2 (16:56):
Throw something back at him, No, don't, don't.

our email address? Send us the video?
Speaker 3 (17:06):
Get this right now, let's get her viral. Get a
restraining order against this woman. You can go online and
start that process that way.
Speaker 13 (17:13):
Now, disrespect should be met with this.

Speaker 3 (18:03):
We're gonna get to the bottom of this, yes, and
we're going to make sure we get this video and
y'all are going to make it go viral for this man.
Speaker 14 (18:10):
May listen, I told you how I feel disrespect needs
to be met with disrespect.
Speaker 13 (18:15):
Bottom line, I'm not telling you. I'm not advising anybody
assault nobody.
Speaker 14 (18:18):
I'm saying, if the ladies speak of cursing that you
you should curse back because you're a man. Before you anything,
you ain't got to be about no life. You you
ain't got to be about this or that. Like if
you a man first, you sit on the phone.
Speaker 3 (18:30):
But I'm off looks listen, I don't know what he's
about to do, but get that restraining order. So it's
on record. If anything happens, you're not even supposed to
be near me, You going to jail? Okay, all right,
well that was ask yee. And eight hundred two nine
two fifty one fifty is a number. Call us up

a message and we will play it and answer your
question on the air. Okay, we got a lot more
(18:52):
really great things happening. It's way up with Angela yee.
Speaker 5 (18:55):
You a way up with Angela yee?
Speaker 2 (18:57):
What it's way up for Angela yee.
Speaker 3 (18:59):
I'm here, and Jasmine from the Jasmine brand dot Com
is here, and we have somebody who is for real
way up and that is Scarlett.
Speaker 2 (19:05):
Welcome to the show. Hey y'all you look so pretty girl.
Speaker 3 (19:11):
Yeah, I feel like I mean, no more do rags.
Speaker 10 (19:15):
No more that ghetto stuff. Man, we live.
Speaker 3 (19:19):
But I think that's part of what people love about you,
you know, as they followed you, like on your come
up to see where you are.
Speaker 2 (19:25):
Then we see you going.
Speaker 3 (19:26):
Like met gala parties and doing all of that. So congratulations,
And I think the realness of like how excited you
are when CARTI B gave you that code sign.
Speaker 10 (19:43):
She show us young girls we can make it and
we could beat something.
Speaker 2 (19:46):
Bro, has it been follow up?
Speaker 10 (19:48):
Listen? We are we on Bernie Cardi please please We're
Like that was enough that that would have repost she
did was like enough if Cardie don't have to do
a song with me, that was enough.
Speaker 2 (20:04):
That's dope.
Speaker 10 (20:05):
You don't know what that does. Like me as a
young girl, like grinding every day, grinding and finally getting
that little cold san a big colson that changed my life,
my career.
Speaker 3 (20:16):
And I think people also see you have you know,
some viral moments recently, but they don't know that you've
been at this for years.
Speaker 2 (20:22):
And so when would you say everything first started for you?
Speaker 10 (20:26):
Around twenty eighteen. It first started when I came out
of it. I shared my life story and it got
the attention of Gilly the Kid wallowing them and they
like helped push it. A lot of members on Love
and Hip Hop Black and Crew was supporting my movement,
and that's where like I first started. Ever, like wait, viral, right,
so I've been going viral since twenty eighteen. Then Glazye Gobbler,
(20:50):
you know what I mean?
Speaker 3 (20:51):
Like Glazy Goblin is hilarious by the way, and also
like the video was cute, So where did the budget
come for that?
Speaker 2 (21:00):
Because it looked good. It looked like y'all spent some
money on We spent some money.
Speaker 10 (21:03):
Man, Like as an artist, you know what I'm saying,
it's gonna be tricks.
Speaker 2 (21:08):
You know, Okay, tricks.
Speaker 19 (21:09):
Don't want to just do this, do that, just do that,
like hilarious, huh break this down for me. It's like, what,
like I got a team now, a solid team, I see.
I see back then, I was just freez. I was
doing what I have to do, Like I just want
to do stuff for you. I'll be like, yo, listen,
I gotta do what I gotta do.
Speaker 2 (21:29):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (21:29):
But they also it's also a benefit, right because they
see they believe in you, because nobody's gonna do that
if they don't think it's gonna go nowhere. Because like
you said, you've been really honest about your story, and
we've seen a lot of things and interviews that you've done,
and also you just talking about it, you know, growing
up and going to foster care. What's the foster care
system experience like for you? Because I've heard some positive
(21:51):
things and I've heard some negative things.
Speaker 2 (21:52):
What was your experience My foster.
Speaker 10 (21:54):
Care experience, it was like some good, some bad. I
went to eight different foster homes. I was hopping from
foster home to foster home because at the time, I
was like, I wasn't a good I wouldn't say I
was a good kid. I was a hard headed kid
like and I felt like these people ain't my family.
And I got to live with these people and call
them mom, call them died Like I was in and
out of detention sentaris. I was fighting a lot. I
(22:17):
was an angry child. Like to be honest, the Falter
care system was horrible. It was horrible. You meet good
people there, like my therapist was like nice to me,
a couple of my caseworkers, but it was really.
Speaker 17 (22:28):
Like dark when you were going through that. You know,
growing up, did you always want to be an artist?
Speaker 8 (22:33):
Did you?
Speaker 17 (22:34):
Was that a dream when you were going through things
as a child.
Speaker 10 (22:37):
Yeah, growing up, Like I wanted to be an actor.
You know what I'm saying. I was good at writing.
I was always good at writing and poetry and poetry
formed into music.
Speaker 3 (22:46):
All right, we are talking to the Bronxes House Skylet.
What exactly is it grizzy Gobbler.
Speaker 10 (22:52):
Yo, so everybody think guzzy Goblin is some sexual It
has nothing to do with sexual at all. Grizzy godblin. Yeah,
Cruisy Goblin, don't even do it.
Speaker 2 (23:02):
We don't want to have to bleep you too much.
Speaker 10 (23:03):
But yeah, yeah, guisy Gobbler. Like if somebody just meet munching, okay,
like you're just doing too much, like you just playing
in a sentence. Oh, she's a glusy goblin, man, she's
she over there, glazy goblin. She's a un like she's
just chewing like she's like like, that's what it means,
got it, That's what I was talking about.
Speaker 2 (23:24):
And guys could be gleazy gobless too, exactly right.
Speaker 3 (23:27):
They're the worst ones, yeah, truthfully, because I can't imagine
what your life is like now.
Speaker 2 (23:32):
All the guys that you knew before this, and.
Speaker 10 (23:34):
There's some suckers, man, these dudes, they some lover boys, man,
all of today's feet all this I see. I was
walking out, I was driving out of one of my
shows and there's some guy was.
Speaker 8 (23:46):
Just like this.
Speaker 2 (23:48):
I was like, so that's not nobody you would ever
go on a date with hell or not? What kind
of guys do you like now?
Speaker 13 (23:55):
Oh?
Speaker 10 (23:55):
I like a little man?
Speaker 2 (23:57):
Okay, what do you mean?
Speaker 10 (23:58):
I always say? And I'm serious show tiny men like
I want to be a big woman, dominant woman, and
I want him to be the little man.
Speaker 2 (24:06):
And how are your d ms looking now?
Speaker 10 (24:08):
Crazy?
Speaker 2 (24:09):
Lit yo?
Speaker 10 (24:11):
So grateful?
Speaker 11 (24:11):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (24:12):
So anything good? Like did you get some work out
of there already? Like some works and collaborations? Are the
people that you're like, Okay, this is about to happen. Yeah, yeah,
can I spill a tea please?
Speaker 2 (24:24):
You did your Dale? You signed your Dale.
Speaker 10 (24:26):
I'm about to sign it like next week. I got
some songs with people now I'm trying to get a recording.
But I got some features in the tuck.
Speaker 2 (24:34):
Okay are they from New York?
Speaker 10 (24:35):
They from New York?
Speaker 3 (24:36):
It is from Memphis, Okay, okay, Glorilla, oh man, I
wish no Okay, let's see who could it be?
Speaker 2 (24:43):
Finesse? Okay?
Speaker 11 (24:46):
We like that?
Speaker 10 (24:48):
We got Snoop Dogg.
Speaker 2 (24:50):
Oh wow, yes that's dope.
Speaker 10 (24:55):
I know I can't tell you.
Speaker 3 (24:58):
A little spoilers. Congratulations an you want Swizzes album?
Speaker 10 (25:03):
Oh yes, I love Swiss? How did that?
Speaker 12 (25:06):
So?
Speaker 2 (25:06):
How did that happen?
Speaker 10 (25:07):
So Swiss. As you can see on my page, I
got three Penn videos, you know, sharing my story about
being a black girl. Swiss shared one of my stories,
and I'm like, you know, I'm an upcoming artist. I'm hungry.
I see your legendary producer share my stuff. I'm gonna
slider his dems. You feel me, So I slid his dems.
I'm like, yo, Swiss, thank you for sharing my stuff.
I know you used to produce for DMX. He's my
(25:29):
big inspiration. Do you think we could work? Swiss text
me back, like, keep up the good work. I'm like,
all right, whatever, I'm gonna keep up the good work.
Not even four days later, he texted me we need
to work nice.
Speaker 2 (25:43):
He popped up like, okay, where when, where when?
Speaker 10 (25:46):
Let's do it. I'm flying on my flight. I'm going like,
let's go, Oh my god, let's go. Well, he's just
been like he been supporting me, helping my music career.
Speaker 3 (25:57):
All right, we are talking to the Bronx his own
skylt So he's the one that kind of helped you
with the deal too.
Speaker 2 (26:02):
I was seeing that you were saying that he's linking you.
Speaker 10 (26:05):
Yeah, he's linking me with the people he's getting me
to do.
Speaker 2 (26:07):
To make that happen. Yeah, okay, it feels like a
lot of people have embraced you so far.
Speaker 10 (26:12):
Yeah, man, Like.
Speaker 2 (26:14):
That's when you had to do raging to dinner right Yeah?
Speaker 10 (26:18):
Yo, man, I have that du rag on to dinner.
Speaker 2 (26:20):
But it was like it's a good look.
Speaker 3 (26:21):
But that's a legendary also because that's also like who
else did that?
Speaker 2 (26:25):
I mean, it's a it's a good.
Speaker 3 (26:27):
Story to come back to, like ten years and maybe
I remember when I was at dinner with fifty with
a dude what Fifty?
Speaker 2 (26:32):
Did he say anything about it?
Speaker 10 (26:34):
Yo? He said, you have to take you?
Speaker 2 (26:36):
Yeah, he don't care.
Speaker 10 (26:38):
He didn't didn't care.
Speaker 2 (26:39):
I can see him. He was thinking that's dope.
Speaker 10 (26:41):
Yeah, he was like really like giving me advice. Right
the day when we had to meet to sit down
with Fifty, I wasn't even prepared for it. It just
came to me and I was like, damn, it's either
I'm gonna not go because my hair and I did,
or am I going to be like I went, I
don't care.
Speaker 2 (26:55):
Did he ask you to be on any of the
shows yet?
Speaker 10 (26:57):
Or I asked?
Speaker 17 (26:58):
I was like this.
Speaker 10 (27:01):
Because he kept saying like he liked in my music
because I was like, so, let's do a remix.
Speaker 14 (27:06):
Now.
Speaker 3 (27:07):
But for real, that's how you get it, Honestly, I
think sometimes too, and tell me if this has ever
been too for you, But for women artists sometimes it's
harder for us to put ourselves out there and ask
for things.
Speaker 2 (27:16):
I feel like, guys ask for whatever.
Speaker 10 (27:18):
You listen, let me tell you something. I asked everything.
I wasn't invited to the Barcolay Center. You're not performed there.
I slid in Fringe Montana's DMS and I was like, and.
Speaker 3 (27:27):
France used to do all that stuff too, though, back
in the day when he was for Yes. So you
got in his dms and what happened?
Speaker 10 (27:32):
I slid his dems. I said, hey, franch Shed, what's
up scar And I was like, you're performing here? And
I sent him a fly.
Speaker 2 (27:37):
I knew he was performing and he was flying.
Speaker 10 (27:40):
He was like yeah. I was like, can you bring
me out?
Speaker 2 (27:42):
He was like hell, yeah, it's really nice.
Speaker 17 (27:45):
Yoh, God loves you.
Speaker 1 (27:46):
Yo.
Speaker 3 (27:46):
Scarlet is here and this might be one of my
top favorite interviews that we've done. Early on in her career.
I know we're going to hear a lot more from her.
But in the meantime, let's hear a lot more from her.
When we come back, it's way up with Angela Yee,
Up with Angela Yee, and we celebrate.
Speaker 2 (28:00):
And guess who we're celebrating today? We have Scarlet here
with us. Did you make friends while you were in
Farce Care?
Speaker 10 (28:05):
Like some I was beating them. I was beating them.
Speaker 2 (28:14):
You are making friends?
Speaker 8 (28:15):
Got it?
Speaker 12 (28:17):
Me?
Speaker 10 (28:17):
And I we was going y'all. The whole camp was
against like, I'm probably one girl on my side. What
do you be beeping over? They just be hating. I
feel like they be hating.
Speaker 2 (28:26):
What are your therapists tell you about that?
Speaker 10 (28:29):
She tells me, I need to calm down, control my anger.
Speaker 11 (28:32):
No not.
Speaker 10 (28:33):
Everybody's out to get you. Forgive me, and I'm gonna
get them first.
Speaker 2 (28:37):
But you know what, now you're you're famous, so you
have a lot to lose. I think when you have
nothing to lose, it was easier. It's easier.
Speaker 10 (28:44):
But yo, you now that I'm like, I guess I'm females,
But like, I see what they say. I know some
of these people talking to they know me, and they
know they not like that, And they know if they
saw me, I will run in their mouth for real.
But I see them talking and talking and I'm just
sitting back, like why can't I say something? I want
(29:06):
to say.
Speaker 3 (29:07):
Something because that brings too much attention to people that
don't deserve it.
Speaker 10 (29:10):
And I can't say something because at the end of
the day, people is representing me.
Speaker 2 (29:14):
Yeah, don't he anything. Don't feed the glizzy gobblers. You
gotta let them start.
Speaker 11 (29:18):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (29:19):
I like that.
Speaker 2 (29:22):
Oh my gosh, Angela, But what about now?
Speaker 3 (29:31):
And I see that you've told Yester I have what
about family members? Because you've been really open and honest
about that. I heard about your aunt right, and you
know what happened when you were living with her. Have
they tried to like say anything or come out or
even reach out to you to say so my aunt.
Speaker 10 (29:45):
She hasn't reached out to me, but I feel like
she will send people to reach out to me in
the family. Like my uncle called me. He's one of
my uncles. They used to ride back in the day
and was like, Oh, did they really abuse you? Did
they really do that to you? Did they really hurt you?
And I'm like, why are you calling me asking me now?
And then he was just like, oh, because your music
(30:06):
is blowing up now and I want to make sure
we're good. And I was like, why are you calling
me now? You wasn't there for me when I was
a little girl. You wasn't there for me when I
was going through over this, but now you want to
call me. And he was like, oh, don't forget, I'm
the one that taught you how to rap, like just
trying to be like take credit for my for what
I'm doing. And I'm just like, you had that chance
(30:27):
in my life to protect me, and you decided to stand.
Speaker 3 (30:30):
Back right because the biggest story isn't okay, well you're
blowing up now. The biggest story should have been, you know,
your aunt's whatever boyfriend, husband whoever he was, he was
molesting you.
Speaker 2 (30:40):
Where were you when that happened?
Speaker 3 (30:42):
And it should be more like what can we do
like to help even try to help you as far
as moving past that.
Speaker 10 (30:48):
And then it's like my cousins is reaching my cousin
reaching out like, oh, that wasn't us. We didn't have
nothing to do with it. This was like a three
four days ago. Everybody, everybody, I'm sorry. I wish we
could have been there for you. I wish we could
have been. We would have took you in. You knew
you saw the videos and y'all said she lying. Then
my uncle was like, you need to keep this in
(31:09):
the family. You shouldn't be supposting this. And it's like,
nobody helped me when I needed their help, and now
that I'm being somebody, you don't think I sit back
and be like, damn, I wish my family could have
been with me. I still have little thoughts to this day.
My baby brother, he's all I have and I'm all
he has, and we gotta go to the success, but
just us because we the only one that was there
(31:31):
for each other.
Speaker 17 (31:32):
What kind of advice do you do you have for
kids and girls that went through what they're going through
right now, what you went through.
Speaker 10 (31:39):
I say, speak up. I say, don't be afraid to
speak up. See the thing is, when I was going
through it, I was afraid to speak up. And the
reason why I was afraid to speak up is because
the person I could go to to tell what was
happening was the reason it was happening. Okay, my aunt,
she was supposed to be my protecting when my mom
died she didn't protect me. Who could I go to?
But I say now for everybody, just go that went
(32:02):
through what I went through to just speak up and
don't be afraid to tell somebody.
Speaker 2 (32:06):
All right, we are talking to the Bronxes.
Speaker 3 (32:08):
Oh Scarlet, and your mom died when you were twelve, right,
So how was your relationship with your mom before?
Speaker 10 (32:14):
It was a good relationship. My mom was my protector.
She we didn't even have a father, Like she was
just the only person and she took care of me.
Speaker 17 (32:21):
Bro.
Speaker 10 (32:22):
She was like a superhero to me. That's why when
my mom, when I lost my mom, it's like really
was a toll on me. It's like I lost everything, bro. Yeah,
like we didn't have nobody. My mom was all I
ever had in my life.
Speaker 3 (32:35):
How do you think she would feel now being able
to see the success that you've been having, because I'm
sure a part of that is, like do you ever
feel like she speaks to you in any way? Sometimes
people feel that like there she protected me.
Speaker 10 (32:48):
I always say, like I wish my mom was here,
like to see this. We we struggle growing up, like
we was in the project. But I used to always
won day. I remember I promised my mom. Like we
was looking at a magazine, right, and I said, mom My, mo.
Mom liked to specific house and I said, I'm gonna
get you that house one day. I know I'm able
to get her that house. Like now, I'm goa still
get the house. It was a glass house. I said,
I'm gonna get this house for you. I'm gonna still
(33:09):
get the house. But it's like I know in my life,
I can't believe it. I was only a little girling
on to it. Yeah, and I'm about to be able
to get houses. I'm about to be out of property.
Speaker 2 (33:22):
Here you go, girls, congratulations, that's so dope. That is
that's amazing and talented.
Speaker 3 (33:31):
That's why, like I said, you gotta make sure all
these people that's hateful, you gotta make sure you keep
forward and don't let get thrown off track either. All right,
Scarlet is here and usually we do ask ye next,
but we got into so many different things that we're
gonna keep this going. So we got more Scarlet for
you when we come back. It's way up at Angela Yee.
Speaker 5 (33:52):
Yeahs back at it, way up with Angelaye is on
what's up?
Speaker 3 (33:57):
Its way up with Angela Yee and we are having
such a great time. We're talking the skylet from the Bronx.
When's the last time you've been.
Speaker 2 (34:03):
On a date.
Speaker 10 (34:04):
I've never been on a date. What in my life held?
Speaker 20 (34:08):
Then?
Speaker 2 (34:08):
Let me make a I've never been on a date. Yeah,
it's about to go crazy.
Speaker 17 (34:13):
Where do you okay? Where do you want your first
date to be? Where would you like to We're gonna
find you a nice little man, like I want.
Speaker 10 (34:19):
A tiny man to hold pineapples and feed me with
his tiny arms.
Speaker 2 (34:24):
Why are you so funny? It's so weirdo weirdo, I'd
be weird bro like, I don't know she really what that?
Speaker 10 (34:34):
I think she does too. I'm like tiny man because
they can't over rule me.
Speaker 2 (34:38):
See that's what I told you. It's a power. That's trauma.
Speaker 10 (34:40):
That's like from trauma.
Speaker 6 (34:41):
Though.
Speaker 10 (34:41):
Now I want to overpower the man. I'm a big woman,
and he needs to know I'm gonna be making the money.
It's not like his tiny solf will make the money.
My god, reach up, jump up to me. Oh my gosh,
you can't defeat me.
Speaker 2 (34:57):
I'm gonna defeat He can't defeat me. I don't know
if you could be love with him?
Speaker 10 (35:01):
Did you like that? If I did? A tall man
is gonna be my ex from Jersey?
Speaker 2 (35:05):
Okay, I'm in love with him.
Speaker 10 (35:07):
I'milla always be in love with my ex.
Speaker 2 (35:10):
He never took you to on a day though.
Speaker 10 (35:12):
Now he took me to hotels though, Oh my god.
Speaker 2 (35:16):
All right, so we need we need a new man now,
I said, why are you in love with him?
Speaker 10 (35:22):
I know he's.
Speaker 2 (35:25):
Go ahead you you might as well say it.
Speaker 10 (35:27):
I'm a virgin, okay, but we did other things, Okay,
the first boy after just something with Okay.
Speaker 2 (35:34):
And that's why you think you're in love with him,
just because of that, no other reason. What happened ended
up happening.
Speaker 10 (35:39):
I texted, we was talking the other day. What happened
the other day? He said, him too crazy? We always
argue with stuff. May he tried to take my virginity
in a tiny hotel room, like you want to take
my virginity in a tiny room? He mad? Because I
come at him like that, say you can't be doing
that in this tiny room, and he just gets his feelings.
Do you have more money than him?
Speaker 4 (35:59):
Now?
Speaker 1 (36:01):
He do?
Speaker 10 (36:01):
Door that she dashing around the neighborhood.
Speaker 17 (36:05):
Yo, have you I know nothing wrong I love though.
Have you thought about doing reality TV? Because you are hilarious?
Speaker 10 (36:11):
I would love to do reality That's why fifty.
Speaker 2 (36:15):
You a descriptive.
Speaker 10 (36:15):
I said, fifty put me on a part with that.
He said live. He lived life because he liked He
said he liked my host.
Speaker 3 (36:21):
All right, we are talking to the Bronx own scarlet.
