Speaker 1 (00:01):
You are now angel what I call ye?
Speaker 2 (00:12):
That's way up at Angela Yee. I'm Angela Yee. And
it's a Friday, and we got my guy, my brother,
my b r F, my best rapper friend.
Speaker 1 (00:23):
Let's go, let's go Friday.
Speaker 2 (00:28):
Me Friday. I actually got to go to Miami tomorrow
for a day.
Speaker 1 (00:32):
That's the first you look sad about that.
Speaker 2 (00:34):
Yeah, I'm sad, just like when you went to Dominican Republican.
Speaker 1 (00:36):
I didn't want to do it.
Speaker 2 (00:39):
But big shout out to my guy, Chef Harper and
too young, to my girl, too young. They just opened
a second location of Toast on Lenox in Atlanta. Really
have you ever been to Toast on Lenox?
Speaker 1 (00:50):
I haven't? It is it Toast?
Speaker 2 (00:53):
That is Toast? That is my spot. Every time I
go to Atlanta, I will push my flight back. It's
really like a runch type of spot. So they don't
even stay open late at night. They don't have to.
But it's like, oh they got that, they got that motion. Yes,
I love brunch. Yeah me too.
Speaker 1 (01:08):
I think brunch is like my favorite thing in the summer.
Speaker 2 (01:13):
Bottomless Mimosa's.
Speaker 1 (01:14):
What's the other thing, uh, billini'sis.
Speaker 2 (01:19):
You're so fancy. Now. One thing I will not have though,
is what's that thing with the tomato juice? What is
that bloody marriage?
Speaker 1 (01:28):
I don't even know what that is.
Speaker 2 (01:29):
It's disgusting. It's like tomato juice so nasty. First of all,
tomato juice itself is just nasty. It's not supposed to
be on pizza. It's not supposed to be a juice. Okay,
or catch up. But anyway, we have a great show
for you today. We got Joe Boy joining us. Yes,
so that's dope. I'm excited for Joe Boy. Also, you

Speaker 2 (02:32):
I only do it on Mondays, right. So as a joke,
when he posted his mainnovation yesterday, I said, it's not Monday, right.
Somebody went in the comments and went crazy. Can't hold
real game and inspiration inside When it hits you, that's
how you know it's real. For him, he could have
easily typed it in his phone and recited it later,
but wouldn't have hit the same hashtag authenticity. It's a
(02:54):
trait rarely value today. Everybody isn't worried about the camera
when I mean, he just went on and on and on.
Ut you listen jokes, sir, Get your panties out a bunch, okay,

They say in the rooms from industry shade to all
of gossip out send Angela's feeling.
Speaker 1 (06:49):
That eet.
Speaker 2 (06:52):
All right, it's way up at Angela Yee. I'm Angela Yee,
and my former BRF, former former best you got chicked
Mano is here and you know way I know I
want to get into this et. Let's talk about Method Man.
He exposed a racist fan who was angry that he
missed a Wu Tang show. Now this was in Method
Man's DMS, right, So first the fan wrote to him, Hello,
(07:15):
mister Smith. Sorry to bother you, but I'm so disappointed
that I could not hold back. I got informed that
you're not coming to Greece along with the rest of
the Wu Tang. This is so unfair. It's not the
same without you. You always give all the energy to
the show. No Method Man means no real will please
think again and make an exception. And he goes on
saying he was waiting his whole life for this. Well,
Meta Man did not respond to that DM, and then
(07:39):
the guy wrote another message. He said, you know what
mister f you you could at least read it. You
don't care about your fans. The only thing you care
is money. And then he called him a pa N.
You know what that is?
Speaker 6 (07:51):
P A N.
Speaker 2 (07:52):
Yeah, okay, yeah, and he said, get the f out
of here, you clown. I hope you make nothing, but
from this point on, and he goes on, oh really, yeah,
it kind of feels like and this guy's white. Yes,
and so he called them, yes, the N word, And
so Methan Man did post this, and he said, gotta
(08:12):
love the fans. I'm pretty sure someone will say I'm
wrong or that I'm bullying for posting this. But if
I didn't, you all wouldn't believe me. I mean, he
even used the N word. And this is after professing
his love for the WU.
Speaker 1 (08:23):
They can love you so hard that they hate you.
Speaker 2 (08:27):
So yeah, maybe you'll go check that guy.
Speaker 5 (08:30):
No, I mean, listen, I'm not in the checking MoU.
Last time I checked somebody. I make the blogs. I
don't do internet checking no more.
Speaker 1 (08:36):
But it seems like you've just been checking anyway.
Speaker 2 (08:39):
Arianna Grande we talked about her new situation. She's dating
this guy, Ethan Slater, who, by the Way just filed
for divorce after news of the romance. Bro Yes, Ethan
Slater is his name. They actually are on a Broadway
play together, Wicked, and so she reportedly hung out Withaan
(09:00):
Slater's now a strange wife, Lily Ja, and newborn son
just months before her romance was revealed. A source told
The Daily Mail that she was so charmed by Ethan
Slater and the baby that she even told those around
her that she wanted a baby of her own one day.
Well things have changed, as yeah, Ethan Slater has now
filed for divorce from his wife and as.
Speaker 5 (09:22):
She basically stole him well because they was together when
they met.
Speaker 2 (09:28):
Now, according to other sources, and this is from Ethan
Slater's side, they already had been broken up for a
couple of months when this happened. So I don't know,
but Lily j that's his wife, said that Ariana Grande
is not a girl's girl, and she said, my family
is just collateral.
Speaker 5 (09:45):
Damn wow, home record, huh.
Speaker 2 (09:49):
I mean, I don't know what was going on in
their home before this, but they had been together for
like ten years all right. Now, Jay Cole and Kevin
Hart are on his Kevin Hart. He talks show heart
to heart and they talked about a few different things.
One of the things that they talked about was how
Jay Cole was not happy with himself when he was younger.
Here's what he said on paper.
Speaker 8 (10:11):
If I would have showed the fourteen year old version
of me what I had accomplished, if I could go
back in time and be like, bro, look what you
just did. The fourteen year old version of med be
like what, Like I knew it, you know what I mean?
But the actual you know, at that time, twenty eight
year old version of twenty nine year old version was
not feeling good.
Speaker 1 (10:30):
You know what I mean.
Speaker 8 (10:30):
It was not feeling wasn't enough appreciation, it wasn't enough
like a recognition of what I was actually doing. It
was too much emphasis and focus on where I wasn't yet.
Speaker 2 (10:41):
And another thing they talked about, and Mano, you and
I were talking about this this morning, female rappers and
how they are killing you right.
Speaker 5 (10:48):
It's unprecedented time. We have never seen this amount of
female rappers with all this motion.
Speaker 2 (10:54):
It's a great thing. And here's what Ja Cole had
to say, what is.
Speaker 1 (10:58):
Your mindset with the state of now? I think it's fire.
Speaker 8 (11:01):
It's a whole different ball game, you know what I mean,
Like like a whole different crop of young superstars, and
it's a lot of fire female rappers. And it's like
like they're doing some of the most exciting commercially, they're
doing some of the most exciting They're giving us a
lot of fire moments, you know what I mean. And
I feel like that's something that wasn't around.
Speaker 4 (11:19):
The volume was never it was never like that.
Speaker 8 (11:21):
You always had one, a little kid, always one to see.
Speaker 4 (11:26):
It can never be more than one. Almost.
Speaker 8 (11:28):
It felt like now it's like, bro, we're getting moments
and moments and moments.
Speaker 1 (11:31):
I think that's hard.
Speaker 6 (11:32):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (11:32):
At the same time, right now, at any given time
I was at I was at a party, right and
the DJ was playing nothing but girl records yep, and
it was lit all lit records.
Speaker 1 (11:46):
I'm talking about forty five minutes straight.
Speaker 2 (11:48):
I love it. We love to hear it. Well, when
we come back, we have about last night. That was
your yeete, I'm gonna talk about what we did last night.
Clearly you were at a party.
Speaker 1 (11:56):
You just said, just noticed something. What Jasmine's not here?
Speaker 2 (11:59):
You just notice that. What we'll find out. Okay, I
was with her yesterday about last night. It's way up
with Angela.
Speaker 3 (12:08):
So about last night last night, last night.
Speaker 4 (12:12):
I went down.
Speaker 2 (12:13):
Yes, it's way up, but Angela yee. I'm Angela yee.
And Mana was there and.
Speaker 1 (12:18):
I'm not internet beefing like Angela.
Speaker 2 (12:21):
But he beef in real life. You know what I'm saying.
But it is about last night, now, Mana, you was
out and about last night?
Speaker 1 (12:28):
Yes, you know me always saving the city, all.
Speaker 2 (12:30):
Right, So you had a surprise person.
Speaker 5 (12:31):
We were supposed to have a surprise party for my
god cub right, and it wasn't a surprise. I tried
to surprise him. I'm like, yo, look, I need you
to come to this video, right, I need you. I
need you to, you know, get in the scene. We're
gonna have all the cars and everything come meet me,
and it's gonna be downtown.
Speaker 1 (12:47):
He's like, come on, brother, stop trying to spin me
to spend me. So he knew.
Speaker 5 (12:52):
I mean, you know, I don't know how he knew,
but we still said surprise when he walked in for
no reason, even though he it was.
Speaker 1 (13:01):
It was funny to be I guess the surprise was
he hadn't been to the place. It was nice.
Speaker 5 (13:07):
It was like two floors had he hadn't been to
where we was at, you know, and then we you know,
it still turned out great though it was. It was
a dope dinner Omar from Shout Out to Omar from
Almost's Kitchen.
Speaker 1 (13:21):
He catered it. He was there, dope dope you know. Yeah,
the staff.
Speaker 2 (13:26):
Have you ever had been surprised?
Speaker 5 (13:28):
Too many times? It keeps surprising every time. Last year
I got surprised. He told me that I was going
to a calid uh pool party and they said your addressing.
I came into like in my in my one of
my like a good outfit, like I wanted to be
on a remix. And when I got there, I'm like,
(13:48):
it's calm, and it was for me.
Speaker 1 (13:51):
It was a surprise for me.
Speaker 5 (13:53):
I get surprised him any time they tell me, you listen, man,
we gotta we got a booking for you, and you know,
we gotta do this.
Speaker 1 (13:59):
And I get this all the time.
Speaker 2 (14:01):
It's gonna be easy to surprise you.
Speaker 1 (14:02):
Probably.
Speaker 2 (14:03):
Yeah, we're gonna surprise you up here.
Speaker 1 (14:05):
One day you're with me.
Speaker 2 (14:08):
Let's start playing it. You call me. We had a surprise.
They don't get everything to get actually, okay, so only
one time I think I was surprised. My friends think
it's too hard to surprise me because I have a
lot of different friends from like different periods of my life.
So I have friends that I went to school with
in elementary school and then even friends from like my
(14:28):
two different high schools, from college, from work, so everybody
don't know each other. So it's they were like, it's
too hard to surprise you, Angela. We're just gonna whose number.
And then sometimes my one of my friends will come
and be like, like just between us, because my friends are
good friends, they'll be like, look, they're gonna do a
surprise party. I'm just giving you a head to act surprise.
And so they always tell you yeah, But there was
(14:49):
one time I got surprised. It was my birthday two
years ago and they had me at my I bought
a Brownstone in Brooklyn, but it's not renovated yet, but
this was before they started the renovation, and so they
had for my birthday, they did a dinner for me there, right,
And so my friend Dahlia, who owned this restaurant Tilly,
(15:11):
she was like, I want to see a new house,
and so I was like, all right. So she met
me at work at the juice bar, and then I
took her to the new house and I walked in.
But the only reason I wasn't as surprised as I
should have been. I was walking up to the house
and one of my friends was late and she was
walking up the same time as me, and I was like,
to Shary, what are you doing here? She was like hey,
and I was like, all right, something's about to happen
(15:33):
till that last minute.
Speaker 5 (15:35):
Yeah, I know, surprises good when they're nice, though, like
you know, having a girl surprise you and some other girls.
Speaker 1 (15:41):
Yours hop out the trunk. It's like, oh okay, this
for me.
Speaker 2 (15:48):
That's happened to you.
Speaker 8 (15:49):
Man.
Speaker 2 (15:49):
Women pull up with like just a trench coat on.
Speaker 5 (15:51):
You know what I'm saying, Like, give my key up, yo, listen,
I'll meet you at the hotel. Get to the hotel
on your birthday. And it's like, don't come in yet, right, okay,
all right, give me five minutes.
Speaker 1 (16:03):
Come in now, come in. Another girl pops.
Speaker 2 (16:06):
Out, Oh my gosh, all right, anyway, that is about
last night. This is ridiculous. She took it somewhere else.
But when we come back, you know what, we do
have a surprise for you.
Speaker 5 (16:15):
Now, tell us a secret, secret, Baby, tell us your secret.
Speaker 2 (16:19):
Yes, and if you want a surprise, Mano and tell
us a secret, maybe somebody who knows him.
Speaker 1 (16:24):
No, no, no, no, no, we're not doing no.
Speaker 2 (16:25):
Eight hundred to two fifty one fifty is a number.
Call us up, tell us a secret. Remember you guys
get to be anonymous. There is no judgment. It's me
and Mano and he definitely is a non judgmental person.
Eight hundred two nine to two fifty one fifty. Call
us up and tell us the sea won we judge you.
It's way up at Angela yee.
Speaker 4 (16:44):
This is a judgment freeze all tell us a secret.
Speaker 2 (16:48):
All right, it's way up at the Angela Yee. I'm
Angela yee and Mano is here. Yeah, that was a jealousy.
We've been playing at offset feature and Cardi B. I
didn't know we could play certain things. But you know what,
let me be a little free then, no, I'm kidding. Well,
it is time for tell us a secret and may
no are you ready?
Speaker 1 (17:07):
I'm always ready for a couple of.
Speaker 2 (17:09):
Secrets, all right, Now. What I need you to do, though,
is unclench your fists. Just relax. Shake your shoulders.
Speaker 7 (17:15):
Do this with me.
Speaker 2 (17:16):
May no, shake your shoulders, come on, shake your shoulders,
shake your shouldersoldera. I just need to relax a little
shake them. No, no, that's not shaking. You got to
do a relax shape all right. Now, take a deep
breath to me.
Speaker 4 (17:27):
Come.
Speaker 2 (17:27):
I took a deep breath, let it out slowly. Three
two deep brah, because I need you to relax before
we get into these because I need you to not
be tense. I need you to not let that tenseness
come out over the air. Because we're not judging people, Okay, don't.
Speaker 1 (17:45):
I don't never judge. What I'm doing is es know.
Speaker 5 (17:48):
What I'm doing is really just asking questions and really
trying to have an understanding and then give them a
little bit of game at the same time.
Speaker 2 (17:55):
Do anonymous caller, how are you good?
Speaker 4 (18:01):
How are you good?
Speaker 2 (18:02):
You want to tell me? And man, no a secret.
It's a no judgment zone.

Speaker 5 (18:28):
We all you don't think that's weird though, bro, just
just honestly, do you think it's weird?
Speaker 1 (18:34):

Speaker 2 (18:41):
Do you guys stuff only alone? Like solo like a

but it's only three people and now we don't.
Speaker 6 (18:56):

Speaker 1 (20:31):

Speaker 6 (20:32):
We used to be in the music room, understand, making music,

Speaker 10 (20:36):

in the music room.
Speaker 6 (20:44):

Speaker 6 (20:51):
Activity was like, you know what I'm saying. The little

was saying some craziness. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, they shut
the music room down, and.
Speaker 1 (21:08):
Right, we used to go to the music room. That's right,
that's a fact. And years later, wow.
Speaker 6 (21:14):
Years later, when I had the Smack DVD joint.
Speaker 10 (21:17):
You know what I'm saying. You was up in the
joint where Nicki Minaj came out. He was up in
the mp uh back in the every where.
Speaker 6 (21:24):

Speaker 6 (21:38):
I've been chilling. I've been driving trucks. You know what
I'm saying. I drive a seatment mixes for Universal Ready Mixed.
I'm out here on the field doing what they do,
you know what I'm saying, dropping.
Speaker 10 (21:48):
These do ot corners with the people. All them corners
you see out there with them little red blocks on
the end.
Speaker 6 (21:55):

Speaker 1 (22:12):

Speaker 2 (22:19):

Speaker 7 (22:21):

Speaker 9 (22:22):
Not at all And it wasn't nothing crazy.
Speaker 11 (22:24):
I just wanted to tell him he was a dope
person not like his personality.
Speaker 9 (22:27):
I'll listen to you guys on the radio. Are you

Speaker 2 (22:32):

Speaker 9 (22:48):

Speaker 6 (22:59):
All right?
Speaker 7 (22:59):
You got.
Speaker 1 (23:01):
Thank you you too?
Speaker 2 (23:03):
All right? Well that was tell us a secret. And
when we come back, we got your yee te Tyler
Perry buying. Bet it looks like it's not gonna happen
right now. Will tell you about what they were asking
for versus what he did. It's way up at Angela yee.
Speaker 3 (23:16):
Oh, she's about to blow the lead ab off this,
but let's get it. Angela's feeling that yee te come
and get the tea.
Speaker 2 (23:23):
Yes, it's way up at Angela yee. I'm Angela yee.
And Mano is here. Yes, now, Mayna we really be
talking in between stuff.
Speaker 5 (23:32):
Man I just realized, like Jasmine is really not here.
I thought she was in the bathroom all this time.
Speaker 2 (23:37):
No, she's not. There's there would be something we would
have to check on her if that happened.
Speaker 1 (23:42):
I mean, all.
Speaker 2 (23:44):
Right, now, let's discuss what's going on in Detroit over
the weekend. There's gonna be performances by Maxwell and Tama
and Friday through Sunday. Detroit's Neighborhood Service Organization will join
forces with the Right Productions and they're gonna present the
inaugural Communey of Hope weekend. And so they're going to
be doing things to help with the current state of
(24:05):
homelessness in Detroit. There's going to be causes solutions. They're
going to have mal vouchers, case management, counseling, showers, and
other hygiene resources like barber's beauticians, health screenings and vaccinations.
And also connections to housing solutions. So artists who have
performed that they're ARETA, that's where they're going to be performing.
(24:25):
They're celebrated around the world, but are at one time
or another in their lives experience homelessness. It's quite a
long list. They thought it was important from that perspective
as well. So we love that providing adequate housing is
such an important thing. That's right all right now. Tyler Perry,
his final bid for BT was nowhere near what they
were asking for. They wanted three billion dollars and he
(24:47):
offered two billion dollars for BT group that includes BT
VH one BT plus streaming service, and they said that
he was under about you know.
Speaker 1 (24:59):
A billy.
Speaker 2 (24:59):
Yeah, So they said he's at two billion or a
little bit under two. So they said it was a
very underwhelming bid, and he was the person who was
the front runner. He already has a twenty five percent
stake in BT Plus and he also has private equity
backing for his offer. So I don't know BT is
going to get sold at this time right now. That's
a lot.
Speaker 1 (25:18):
So they turned it down.
Speaker 2 (25:21):
Yeah, they said it's not enough money, you know, fair
enough VH one was concluding that, yeah, VH one bt
BT plus. All right, now, Megan Fox has addressed some
backlash that she got, and that's because she went on
Instagram and posted a GoFundMe that one of her friends
had put up, right, and so people were mad. They
(25:41):
were like, well, why don't you just donate the money?
You don't know if she did or she didn't. Maybe
she's just trying to get more. And so in response
to people having things to say about her posting her
friends go fund me, she said, hey, weirdos, do any
of you have the emotional intelligence to consider that Maybe
Britt doesn't want her celebrity clients donating large terms of
money to her because it creates a dynamic and her
(26:03):
working relationship that makes her uncomfortable. So instead, she asked
me to post to go fund me so that many
people could donate small amounts of money to help them
reach their goal. I just obliged her request anything she
needs for me personally, she will ask and I will
do it privately.
Speaker 1 (26:17):
That didn't make no sense.
Speaker 2 (26:19):
That people were mad that she supposed to go fundme.
Speaker 1 (26:21):
A reason for didn't make no sense.
Speaker 5 (26:26):
I think she didn't want her celebrity friends to give
her money lost sums of money.
Speaker 2 (26:31):
I think sometimes and I agree with this. If I
needed money, I wouldn't want to just go to my
friends and be like, can you give me the money
for this? But I don't have a problem saying can
you post this GoFundMe for me? And we also don't
know if privately she is going to give.
Speaker 1 (26:43):
Her money you want me to post postly I would.
I wouldn't ask whenever you want that, go fund me up,
I've got you.
Speaker 2 (26:50):
I don't think I would want to ask somebody to
just give me one hundred thousand dollars. I'd rather be like, YO,
do me a favor. That's a lighter ask and it's fair.
Like I don't think you can just go to somebody
that's your just because they're a friend and be like,
could I have this money? I think you have it.
You know how many people who already go to her
for money all the time?
Speaker 1 (27:06):
Got it? Listen, it's good to know. But and whenever
you're ready for the go for me, I got it.
Speaker 2 (27:11):
I would be like, man, oh, can you post this
for me? No problem, And then probably one of your
followers would talk crazy to me in the comedy check
you Mainnovation, all right and get ready for the fight
this weekend. For all the boxing fans out there, Erro
Spence and Terrence Cowford are fighting in Vegas Saturday nights
and the winner, what they are both saying is the
best boxer of this generation. Here is what Ero Spence
(27:31):
had to say.
Speaker 13 (27:32):
It took a while from me and Terrence to happen,
but you know, it's having it a great moment right now.
You're fighting for all the marbles. He's undefeated, I'm moneyfeeded.
Things are gonna be a great fight, great showing, and
we definitely gonna get people they money work on Showtime Perview.
Speaker 2 (27:48):
Yeah, Iran Erol Spence is twenty eight and oh and
Terrence Cowford is thirty nine and oh yeah, that's a
good one.
Speaker 1 (27:54):
It's a very evilly yoked fight. Who you got I'm
going with Spence all right?
Speaker 2 (27:59):
Well on with Terrence Crawford. Then in that case, what
you want to bet?
Speaker 1 (28:03):
What you want to bet?
Speaker 2 (28:04):
All right, we're going to get into this. Let me think,
let me.
Speaker 1 (28:07):
Think, what do weeks not money?
Speaker 14 (28:09):
Oh?
Speaker 2 (28:09):
I want you to wear the same Alpha for a week.
Speaker 1 (28:11):
I can't do that.
Speaker 2 (28:14):
Well, then the Aerospen's better win. All right, it's way
yup with Angela yee. That's your ut. And when we
come back, we have under the radar. It's a way
up with Angela yee.
Speaker 3 (28:21):
This in the news that relates to you. These stories
are flying under the radar.
Speaker 2 (28:26):
Yes, it's way yep. But Angela yee, I Angela ye
and Mano is here and let's get into these under
their radar stories. These are the stories that may not
be in their headlines, but we want to make sure
you're aware of them. All right. Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Incorporated,
they're moving their event from Orlando. It's a twenty twenty
five conference and the reason that they're moving their conference
(28:48):
is because of everything that's going on in Florida. Right
There's been a number of companies and organizations that are
that are boycotting that state, and that is to highlight
Governor Ron DeSantis is harmful and sensitive policies against the
black community. We talked about this previously. The NAACP has
issued a travel warning and declared Florida actively hostile to
(29:10):
black and other minority communities. Well, now they're saying in
this environment of manufactured division and attacks on the black community.
Alpha Phi Alpha refuses to direct a projectors four point
six million dollar convention economic impact to a place hostile
to the communities we serve. Wow, all of this is
because of everything that he's been trying to do to
(29:31):
make sure black people who are not represented in.
Speaker 1 (29:35):
The history of Florida.
Speaker 2 (29:38):
All right, speaking of pulling out, this guy has two penises, and.
Speaker 1 (29:44):
Some guys are so lucky.
Speaker 2 (29:47):
You don't want that man, You would work that what
if one of them is done and the other.
Speaker 1 (29:53):
Ones, now both of them has been perfect, then you
get backed up.
Speaker 2 (29:57):
Well, he uses both of them for sex, and he
says women are addicted to him. This guy is a
truck driver from la and he said several of his
lovers enjoyed the fact that he had multiple members. He
has this genetic abnormality, it's called diiphalia, in which a
male is born with two penises. It's very rare. It's
estimated to affect less than one thousand men and boys
(30:18):
across the United States. Now, he revealed that he was
sent to a juvenile detention center after being convicted of
manslaughter at the age of twelve. He was a virgin
until he got out at the age of twenty four,
and that's when he said he went to make the
most of what he has. He said women didn't. He said,
women didn't believe it when I told them I had too,
but I took them to the room they'd see. And
(30:40):
then he said that he would I don't know how
to say this. If I can say it, can I
say ej no, okay from both of them at the
same time, even if only one of them was being used?
Speaker 1 (30:51):
Wow, Sam, you got too? Just sounds so cool.
Speaker 2 (30:54):
I got too. He said, when I was penetrating a woman,
I would get a feeling but one of my penises
at the side and feels like it's gonna blow up.
And then some women would be able to do put
both in.
Speaker 1 (31:12):
Yeah, okay.
Speaker 2 (31:14):
And then he said he even started having three somes so.
Speaker 1 (31:17):
At the same time.
Speaker 2 (31:19):
Yes, literally, but he said it was difficult to have
sex with only one of them at a time, and
he said the use of two was very painful for
a lot of people that he was with, so he
ended up deciding to get the surgery. So now he
has just one. Oh oh why would yeah? See all right, Well, anyway,
(31:42):
I know you would enjoy that story.
Speaker 1 (31:44):
You know, I would have kept mine, you would have
all right.
Speaker 2 (31:47):
And lastly and under the radar, McDonald's is creating a
spinoff restaurant brand. It's called Cosmics MC Cosmics, all right,
it's uh, they're gonna be testing a handful of sights
and a limited geography and early twenty twenty four. Now,
Cosmic is an alien and you know there's a lot
of them around now from out of the space crazy
McDonald's food and appeared in their advertisements decades ago.
Speaker 1 (32:09):
You see.
Speaker 2 (32:10):
They started having the Cosmics in the ads in the
late eighties and early nineties, and so they're gonna see
what this is gonna happen now.
Speaker 1 (32:20):
They lining us up from them aliens.
Speaker 2 (32:22):
Yeah, aliens like fries coming.
Speaker 1 (32:25):
I'm telling you they're coming here.
Speaker 2 (32:26):
I know that's what you was doing last night, was
researching aliens.
Speaker 1 (32:29):
This is crazy while I was outside.
Speaker 2 (32:31):
Yeah, I bet if one of them dms you when
she's cute.
Speaker 1 (32:33):
You'll get us props. Possibly.
Speaker 2 (32:36):
Yeah. Can you imagine you fall in love with the aliens?
Speaker 5 (32:38):
That'll be good to be outside with two tattoos and
everything and outfit.
Speaker 3 (32:44):
Love.
Speaker 1 (32:44):
Yeah, a couple of goals.
Speaker 2 (32:46):
All right, Well, that is you're under the radar. And
you know we got the Way Up mixed at the
top of the hour on a Friday. Plus, we got
Joe Boy joining us today. You know we're going to
have a time with him. And yes, he's got a
lot that he wants to talk about. He's from Nigeria,
but a huge, huge artist. Joe Boy will be here
(33:07):
with us today. It's way you put Angela Ye way.
She's like to talk like they Angela Jean, like they
Angela jee Man.
Speaker 3 (33:14):
She's spilling it all. This is yeaky way up.
Speaker 2 (33:19):
Yes, it's the way you put Angela Yee. I'm Angela
Ye and Mano is here.
Speaker 1 (33:22):
Yeah, and we got something yet.
Speaker 2 (33:25):
Let's do it for the ladies and the yet. All right, So,
first off, shout out to Nicki Minaj Now Nicki minaj
Snoop Dogg, and twenty one Savage will all be playable
characters in Call of Duty. You excited for that?
Speaker 1 (33:36):
That's dope.
Speaker 2 (33:37):
That's all an upgrade for the fiftieth anniversary of hip hop.
Call of Duty Wars and Zona is launching on August second.
You play that?
Speaker 1 (33:47):
No, not a gamer?
Speaker 11 (33:49):
You know?
Speaker 2 (33:49):
Okay, we're gonna get you into one you know, it's
money to be made.
Speaker 5 (33:53):
I need to be playing game on the phone, talking
to the games, talking to people from other places.
Speaker 2 (34:00):
All right now. Sweety recently did an interview on Power
one oh six and she talked about that viral moment
where she was at the Usher Vegas show and she
was definitely catatonic. Here's what she had to say, happened.
Speaker 8 (34:14):
You stood strong during that moment, like you was you
know what I'm saying, Like, but how was that moment?
Speaker 15 (34:19):
Honestly, was Hella crazy? Is since I've been in the studio,
I don't be online, so I didn't even know he
did stuff like that. My honest response is I was
caught off guard, right, yeah, I was like, Okay, what
we doing?
Speaker 2 (34:34):
Yeah? She was caught off guard. You know what, have
you ever been serenaded at a show before? No, it's
like awkward. Or if somebody's on stage performing and they're
singing and like looking at you, you'd be feeling like, uh,
what am I supposed to do? Do you look at
somebody in the audience when you're performing? Like when you
what would you.
Speaker 1 (34:53):
Do if Ussher serenaded you like that?
Speaker 2 (34:56):
You just gotta get up and do a little.
Speaker 1 (34:57):
Whoa because he puts the microphone to you sing terribly.
Speaker 2 (35:01):
Yeah, you'll do it, though I would definitely sing terribly
in the mic. I mean it's just how I sing.
Speaker 1 (35:07):
Okay, terrible singing.
Speaker 2 (35:08):
Yeah, what can I do? But I'll do it because
then you don't want to just stand there. You know,
you got to participate to give it your all show
all right. Now, ESPN is testing an all female sports
center because they do want to spotlight women's sports for
a bigger crowd. So ESPN viewers will see something a
little different at the eleven PM edition of that, and
(35:31):
there's going to be female producers in the show's control
room taking care of all the action, and in between
the reports will be vignettes and live commercials for the
financial services firm ally which Stuck, which struck a sponsorship
deal with Disney that calls for ninety percent of its
spending to be placed in support of women's sports. Don't
you love that? Women's sports is amazing? Right now? To
(35:54):
women everything? Okay, women all yeah, women all women everything.
We love to see it, all right. And DJ Khalid
Shannon Sharp says he is inspired now. He said, pulled
up to DJ Khalatouse and it's safe to say I
think I want to make music now. I told them
to take me straight to the studio and cut a
beat on. I got some things I want to get
off my chest. What would my artist's name be? Shannon
(36:17):
said that, yes, why are you laughing?
Speaker 1 (36:20):
That's funny?
Speaker 2 (36:21):
Would you do something with him?
Speaker 1 (36:23):
Why not?
Speaker 2 (36:24):
Right? That's dope? Uh yeah, okay, that would be interesting
to see. And Taylor Swift she was performing and this
was uh in Seattle, and according to reports, they're saying
that her performance caused a two point three magnitude earthquake.
What would have been equivalent to that? All right? So
(36:45):
that means from all the fans going crazy and for
the music and the beat and everything and the rhythm
they collected about ten hours of data where rhythm controlled
the behavior the music the speakers to beat all the
energy can drive into the ground and shake it. So
they're saying that was the equivalent at two point three
magnitude earthquake. Wow, shake it off, you know. And Taylor
(37:06):
Swift fans are no joke, by the way, where she
was playing seats about seventy thousand people and her shows
be selling out, So would you want to go to
a Taylor Swift show.
Speaker 1 (37:19):
I don't have more interest, he said.
Speaker 2 (37:20):
Travis Kelsey was trying to meet her, and he made
like a friendship bracelet that he made for her, and everything.
Speaker 1 (37:25):
What happened?
Speaker 2 (37:26):
I think he got shut down. It didn't happen. I
guess she doesn't talk to people like right before and
after her show.
Speaker 1 (37:32):
She just fully focused.
Speaker 2 (37:33):
Yeah, she's focused. So he made some friendship bracelets hoping
to be able to have the opportunity to give them. No,
it was not going to happen. All right, Well, that
is your yee tea. And when we come back, you
know it's a Friday, so you know what that means.
A lot of new music out today. She looks so nervous.
What does that mean?
Speaker 1 (37:53):
Never?
Speaker 2 (37:54):
Never, we've surprised you.
Speaker 5 (37:56):
You got shut You've been different ever since you got
checked online this morning.
Speaker 2 (38:00):
Listen, you can't wait to get home because ever since
tell us a secret, you've been wanting to try something
you never did.
Speaker 1 (38:04):
Before in my life. Stop playing with me?
Speaker 2 (38:07):
You ready for I beg for the fight this weekend?
We bet all right, but what's the best I told
you already.
Speaker 1 (38:16):
I didn't agree to that, so if you lose, then what.
Speaker 2 (38:18):
You gotta tell me? I told you what you got
to do with the same exact outfit for seven days straight,
and you can't buy the same thing in different You
gotta the same exact thing. Okay, it's way up at
Angela yee and take pictures.
Speaker 4 (38:34):
Yeah, she's back at it bringing the way up with
Angelae is on.
Speaker 2 (38:39):
Yes, it's way up at Angela Yee. I'm Angela yee
and meno it's air yeah on a Friday. Hey, hey,
listen that I just was able to post this Honeyland
event that's going to be happening honey in Houston. Honey, Yes, Honeyland.
But I'm really excited for that. All this stuff something else?
(39:01):
What did you think it was you need? When's the
last time you've been in Jamaica?
Speaker 5 (39:08):
Man, No, let me just tell you something. Let me
admit this right now. Every time I was supposed to
go to Jamaica and it fell through, I've never been
to Jamaica.
Speaker 2 (39:16):
So we have to go to Jamaica.
Speaker 1 (39:17):
I had to get to my roots.
Speaker 2 (39:19):
We have to go to Jamaica. In the US of
Virgin Islands, yes, yes.
Speaker 1 (39:27):
Mon, yeah, my family's from Saint Thomas and Saint Croix.
Speaker 2 (39:31):
Okay, Saint Thomas in Saint Croix. We'll do that trip.
But then we also got to get you to Jamaica.
But yes, the Honeyland it's in Sugarland, Texas, and there's
gonna be a lot of food, drinks type of event.
Marcus Samuson is going to be there. Faun Weaver who
owns Uncle Nerris Whiskey is also going to be there.
Mary j Blyge, Miguel Jasmine Sullivan, Lucky Day, Thames Slim Thug,
(39:54):
Paul Wall, Coco Jones, Chloe. It's a lot going on.
Shout out to my guy DJ mister Rogers who's also
are going to be there, bum Bee earn your leisure
tap at the Brown. It's a huge festival that's happening.
So I'm excited for that one. Also excited for angela
Ye Day that's going to be August twenty seventh.
Speaker 1 (40:11):
It's happening.
Speaker 2 (40:12):
It's happening, So make days like this.
Speaker 5 (40:15):
Who gets days like that? You don't have a day
in Brooklyn the National.
Speaker 1 (40:20):
Main O Day.
Speaker 2 (40:21):
I feel like we need a main O Day.
Speaker 1 (40:23):
What happens on that.
Speaker 2 (40:24):
Day, a main audition, what happens on that day.
Speaker 1 (40:32):
You gotta figure that out. Who do we talk to
about a day.
Speaker 2 (40:36):
I'm going to find out.
Speaker 1 (40:36):
You got yours from the bishop.
Speaker 2 (40:38):
I got mine the mayor at the time. From the mayor.
Speaker 1 (40:43):
I'm cool with this mayor, so maybe I need to
holler them.
Speaker 2 (40:45):
Yeah, you should holler at him. All right. Well, you
know who else? We're cool with Joe Boy and he's
coming up next. You know, he's got a new album

we have international superstar Joe Boy with us.
Speaker 1 (41:13):
Thank you so much for having me. It's a pleasure.
Speaker 2 (41:15):
Congratulations. First of all, we're really excited that you are
stopping by where you're at the Angela Yee, So talk
to us about just this like international superstardom that you've
been experiencing five six years in the game now.
Speaker 14 (41:27):
So it's been really, really beautiful. It's been a lovely,
challenging journey. But I would not have it like any
of that. We I'm happy to be able to be
used as a rest to spread my music from Africa
and also like represents where I come from. So there's
always a beautiful thing where we go to like different
regions the Caribbean's America, and we are doing tours and
setting nots.
Speaker 1 (41:48):
It's like really really beautiful to see there.
Speaker 14 (41:50):
Was a time when this was all like just a
vision And personally I feel blessed be part of that movement.
Speaker 2 (41:57):
And you also, I think with your themes, a lot
of it is about love and relationships, even started from
the beginning with babies. So talk to me about just
how you were raised and your views on that, because
you know, as women, we love to hear that, but
everyone doesn't do music like that.
Speaker 14 (42:13):
Right, Yeah, So personally I'm such, I'm such. I'm really
a big fun of love. And when I see love,
I don't mean like just in like the romantic sense.
I think love is really important and if people I
realize that people actually love each other, like genuinely, like
the world would definitely be a better place.
Speaker 2 (42:28):
Do you have a lot of women, Did you grow
up with a lot of women in your life? And
your family.
Speaker 14 (42:32):
Yes, definitely aunties. I have an elder sister. Yeah, I'm
really close with my mom.
Speaker 16 (42:37):
Yeah, it shows yeah romantically. Do you are you in
love right now?
Speaker 4 (42:43):
Yes?
Speaker 1 (42:44):
Love right now? Yeah?
Speaker 2 (42:45):
Okay, it's not the sugar mama right.
Speaker 1 (42:47):
No, no, no, no any more any more, change my ways.
Speaker 2 (42:52):
And are you in a relationship, Well yes, I am,
okay right now I'm with Jasmine Brand and we're talking
to Joe Boy. Can we go back to this sugar
mama thing because that's fascinating to me. Right, there was
a period of time when you said you did have Yeah.
Speaker 14 (43:04):
So personally, I'm really attracted to that older women for
some reason. Yeah, so there was a time in my
life where I used to like date older women.
Speaker 1 (43:13):
Yeah, but you.
Speaker 2 (43:14):
Were at chatted to them, but they also kind of
took care of you financially on.
Speaker 1 (43:18):
Way boy, not like I really like I really needed
that money because.
Speaker 16 (43:23):
Yeah, what was the biggest age gap?
Speaker 1 (43:26):
Detail?
Speaker 2 (43:29):
Not fascinating. You know, it does happen, but like.
Speaker 1 (43:34):
I just I'll just give like a bracket range. That's
not that's.
Speaker 2 (43:39):
Not that you still like older women. I still do, okay,
And also you know, I know you let women check
your phone.
Speaker 1 (43:45):
So that song was actually because like I was just
being sarcastic. I do you know, I mean, it's like
an actual term.
Speaker 2 (43:53):
Don't check my snapchat. All right, let's just say this
does happen. Let's just say it's time to order some
food on the phone. It's okay for her to take
your and like you know, order to get like your
heart drops down.
Speaker 1 (44:03):
Oh I don't have anything. That's that's just the true
person can say the same for some people.
Speaker 2 (44:09):
For me, have you ever been cheated on?
Speaker 1 (44:14):
I've never found out.
Speaker 14 (44:15):
I've been only like two relationships to like serious comment
relationships like from the ones with like older.
Speaker 2 (44:22):
Women, apart from the sugar momter. Okay, have you ever.
Speaker 16 (44:26):
Have you ever cheated on on?
Speaker 1 (44:30):
Okay, by teating on somebody?
Speaker 14 (44:31):
Like lord, what what do you think parameters somebody?
Speaker 2 (44:37):
Did you ever sleep at somebody else? That's definitely cheating.
Speaker 1 (44:40):
This is serious, brilliant. Do I ask to answer the question?
Speaker 2 (44:45):
No answer. If you don't answer, that means yes, mean
mean no?
Speaker 16 (44:50):
Okay, moving on right now.
Speaker 2 (44:57):
I mean, but you are still young. I can't imagine
being a this and having the access that you have
and never making any mistakes.
Speaker 1 (45:03):
That's all, I'm being young at the same time too.
Speaker 2 (45:05):
Yeah, and being young at the same time.
Speaker 14 (45:07):
But I've tried to like point out my weaknesses on
create like a way where I do not fall into
those kinds of situations.
Speaker 2 (45:15):
Right, So you passed somebody go through your phone. That's
why you did a song like that, because I.
Speaker 1 (45:18):
Know, yeah, yeah, that's actually like real life.
Speaker 2 (45:21):
But then you have nothing to hide, so it doesn't
really matter.
Speaker 1 (45:23):
No, at that point something all right.
Speaker 2 (45:26):
We're just trying to check them, but mov befoward. He
no longer has anything to hide right now. Right now,
I'm a jazzmine brand and we're talking to Joe Boy.
So when did you realize with the song baby, right,
because that was the first song that really propelled you. Okay,
when did you realize that was taking off?
Speaker 14 (45:42):
Okay? So I dropped the song the first of March.
The song blew up like two months later, and I
just want to use the opportunities to like send the
message to any young artists out there, any artists in general,
like pushing this song. Like the fact that the song
doesn't blow up in this first week doesn't mean it's
not going to do way better in near which I
maybe just not his time yet, so that song baby.
(46:03):
I dropped the song March March twenty nineteen, the first
of March, and for three months we were just pushing
and pushing and pushing, and then I got a DM
from a fan in Uganda like yo, your song is
doing numbers. Yeah, and song was like number two on
their chart and I had no idea. And next thing,
I'm getting bookings from East Africa, like it was so beautiful,
like the song actually blew up because I stayed in
(46:24):
West Africa Andia, the song actually blew up in East
Africa and started spreading me.
Speaker 1 (46:29):
I was just really really thankful for that.
Speaker 14 (46:30):
I was a very very memorable experience and humbling experience
for me because you just helped me realize that, okay,
this is actually like for real. I started getting bookings
like in by June, I started getting bookings like in
like four countries contrees I've never been before in my life.
Speaker 1 (46:45):
There.
Speaker 14 (46:45):
I remember traveling to Tanzania and I always have the
anxiety that oh, I've never been yet before the people
actually know the song.
Speaker 1 (46:52):
So I go to Tanzania.
Speaker 14 (46:53):
I was stepped on stage and everybody was screaming and
they sang song word for word and.
Speaker 2 (46:58):
They had to make you want to cry to be
so happy.
Speaker 1 (47:02):
Yeah, and when.
Speaker 2 (47:03):
You linked up and mister Easy, were you were aware
of the significance of that in your career?
Speaker 1 (47:08):
Definitely? Definitely.
Speaker 14 (47:10):
I've always been in fund of them to stay easy
from time, Like two days before you actually sent me
a DM, I posted this picture. Oh wow, I posted
this picture a picture of in my whiskey, like these
are my favorite artists. And two days later I get
a call from my friend and mister Easy commented on
my video. Then while I'm still thinking about it DM
to sent to him, he sends me a DM and
(47:30):
what he sends was his number, like you text me.
Speaker 2 (47:33):
Ah, that had to be amazing. I like how everything
happened so organically.
Speaker 14 (47:37):
And it's so beautifulcause I actually saw it to my
like I dreamt about it before I dreamt about me too, Easy.
Speaker 2 (47:42):
That's amazing how you can really wield things into existence
and kind of know what's about to happen before it
happens and put it out there too, because sometimes people
will say write things down, and that's how you manifest
for things to I.
Speaker 14 (47:56):
Really feel like if you actually like have a vision
and you believe in anything worked.
Speaker 1 (48:00):
It's his bon topping.
Speaker 16 (48:01):
Is that the first time you had a dream about
something and then it happened. No, So that's how you
have that gift?
Speaker 9 (48:07):
Then?
Speaker 14 (48:07):
Yeah, Like my real name is like my English name
is Joseph. So yeah, yeah, so I've had like a
couple of dreams like that too.
Speaker 2 (48:16):
Yeah, that's dope. There's something to tap into more.
Speaker 1 (48:19):
Yeah, I don't know.
Speaker 2 (48:20):
I'll be kind of scared.
Speaker 1 (48:21):
I know I used to be.
Speaker 2 (48:24):
It's working out. You gotta use your powers for good,
all right. Joe Boy is here with us and when
we come back, we have some more with him. His
album Body and Soul is out right now. It's way
up at angela Ye.
Speaker 4 (48:40):
You way up with Angela ye?
Speaker 2 (48:42):
What teppens? Way up with Angela Ye. I'm Angela Yee.
And Jasmine from the Jasmine Brand is here and we
are talking to Nigerian singer and superstar Joe Boy. And
I see you have Ludacris yes as a feature too,
and so he reached out to you. You guys just
linked up.
Speaker 14 (48:56):
With so on my tour, I was doing a lot
of Vegas on Atlanta and Luda Chris was with his
wife or the show and Las Vegas. So his wife
is a big fan of my music. So we kept
in touch and he wasn't Ghana like earlier this year,
and he texted my team like, oh, you guys should
come to Ghana. I'm havingue recording came so like okay, cool.
Then we went and we're just seeing. I made a
(49:19):
couple of songs together, and those were songs for its project.
Speaker 1 (49:22):
So I was about to leave.
Speaker 14 (49:24):
And you're like, oh, why don't you blame me some
of your stuff like and the first song I played
for him, he liked it and I was Chicken, Spide
and Parry.
Speaker 1 (49:31):
So happened the first song he loved it was like
okay this one.
Speaker 2 (49:38):
And then another son that I love me and jazz
and love this. Because we like to drink, you know
exactly what's your drinking choice?
Speaker 14 (49:48):
Person I like one okay, but I'm beginning to like tequila.
Speaker 2 (49:52):
Oh we like to keep We definitely have some here.
Speaker 16 (49:54):
What's it like when you create music? Are you always
in the studio? Are you you know home? Are you drinking?
Are you smoking?
Speaker 1 (50:02):
Are you clear?
Speaker 7 (50:03):
Mind?
Speaker 11 (50:04):
So?
Speaker 14 (50:04):
One thing for me personally, for me, I don't like
to rely on any form of I don't.
Speaker 1 (50:09):
I don't want to call it outside.
Speaker 2 (50:11):
No drinks, no smoking, no drinks.
Speaker 14 (50:12):
I don't drink or smoke before I record or if
I want to record. I don't like to be dependent
on exter now like factors to be able to create
music because I don't want to have to be stuck
on that particular path because it's kind of like a
slippery slope and you always have to, you know, before
you create. So for me, I like to just be okay,
sober and take my time. I like to write my
(50:33):
songs alone and not to record myself. Now, so I
record my songs alone.
Speaker 2 (50:37):
Maybe something that makes sense.
Speaker 14 (50:38):
Yeah, So so now I just called it producer. And
my studio is downstairs, like this is my house. So
when I wake up, I do my routine and just
go downstairs and create.
Speaker 2 (50:48):
Right now, I'm a jazzmin brand And we're talking to
Joe Boy, what's your favorite place to be when you're
on the road.
Speaker 1 (50:54):
So for me, I say, I'm an adrenaline drunk.
Speaker 14 (50:58):
I like to do like crazy stuff that makes my
heart pump, like skydiving. I like to visit like arms
Man parks and going all those like crazy roller coastars.
I love go carts and I love going to the
beach and jet skiing and stuff like parak lighting like
they was a time when South America. I went into
(51:18):
the junk in the middle of the night and we're
seeing like crocodiles and snakes, like with the eyes shine
in the dark.
Speaker 1 (51:23):
So I just like, I like to live. You like
to rescue your life and not really not really, I
think for those moments actually actually do like this.
Speaker 14 (51:31):
Womans actually like help you, Like, oh, help me. I
appreciate life more.
Speaker 2 (51:34):
Okay, Yeah, when you put it out there like yeah
you have skydives, Yeah I.
Speaker 1 (51:39):
Have not by myself like with somebody y.
Speaker 2 (51:41):
Yeah at that point, Yeah, did you hesitate when you
were about to jump out? Because I feel like if
I tried to do that when it was time to go,
they have to push me.
Speaker 14 (51:48):
So I was on the I was on the plane
and I saw like people that skydivingself just like jumping off,
and I was like, wow, this is real and we're
like thirteen thousand feet up and that anxiety is just
like setting all.
Speaker 1 (52:00):
What am I doing? Boy?
Speaker 14 (52:02):
The guy kept pushing me for kept pushing me for
my mind. I was like screaming, Oh, I don't want
to go. I don't want to go. You said, okay,
in this already, and I jumped and then I looked
up and I started playing fly over on me and
I looked.
Speaker 1 (52:15):
I couldn't see the ground. I was like in my
adopt like, why did I do this?
Speaker 2 (52:20):
Yes?
Speaker 14 (52:21):
But when you actually learned, it's only the best feelings
ever when you learned safely, when it's over, When it
is over, like.
Speaker 1 (52:27):
You be so you feel so free, like so you
want to do it again? Definitely?
Speaker 2 (52:31):
How do the sugar mama spell about that? I'm not
jumping out of a plane now. I feel like we
learned a lot about you just in your spare time.
I see that you're a very exciting person outside of.
Speaker 1 (52:44):
Yeah, I also love to read books a lot. Okay,
I love to read it.
Speaker 2 (52:48):
Look all right, Well, thank you so much job boy
for coming in and saying with us today young way
up in Angela.
Speaker 7 (52:53):
Yee.
Speaker 2 (52:53):
We appreciate you. Obviously, we love Boddy and so it's
definitely our type of vibe because I love the love
that you're talking about on here and also like loving yourself, loving,
and I feel it from you so.
Speaker 14 (53:03):
Thank you so much, Thank you so much, Thanks so
much for putting me on your seat.
Speaker 1 (53:08):
Now it's difficult, some difficult questions.
Speaker 2 (53:11):
Time will give you some white wine and ask you
some more questions.
Speaker 1 (53:14):
Yeah, maybe I'll be more honest. Then you're honest, more honest.
Speaker 2 (53:18):
More honest. Okay, we'll take it and shout out to
your girl. You know all these girls are like, yes,
t oh, okay, let's get specifically all right. It's way
you put Angela Yee and when we come back we
have asked ye. You guys got to call us up.
Eight hundred nine fifty one fifty is a number if
(53:40):
you have any questions, if you need advice, I'm here
with the award winning advice giver Maino, and we want
to help you. It's way you put Angela.
Speaker 3 (53:47):
Yee with its relationship or career advice. Angela's dropping facts.
Speaker 4 (53:52):
This is ask what's happens?
Speaker 2 (53:54):
Way you put the Angela Yee. I'm Angela Yee and
I'm here with the award winning advice giver. Yes, Mayna, Yes,
we had Brian on the line.
Speaker 1 (54:01):
Was that Brian, How're going good?
Speaker 2 (54:04):
How are you?
Speaker 1 (54:05):
I'm all right?
Speaker 2 (54:05):
I guess all right, so what is your question for us?
Speaker 9 (54:09):
All right, so recently I have I have an eight
year on relationship with my girlfriend, but I have two
kids her, right, we had had issues preiously before in
the beginning, but basically is right now. A couple of
days ago I ended up leaving with another woman.
Speaker 2 (54:30):
Oh you cheat it it has it happens.
Speaker 9 (54:33):
Well, now I just need to either advice what should
I do to either help out with her with trying
to keep the.
Speaker 1 (54:43):
Relationship able to work for the kids as well. I'm
just lost right now. I mean, did she want to
break up with you?
Speaker 9 (54:52):
Well, she made a kid to me that she don't
want to break up with me at the moment because
she gives me some time.
Speaker 2 (54:57):
Okay, so it's not really up to you. What's gonna happened?
Do you want to be with her?
Speaker 12 (55:02):
Me?
Speaker 9 (55:02):
Clearly, honestly when I mean, she's my first love and
everything took my virginity, dolls and everything and all these
eight years and then she gave two kids of mine
and I do love her and I do want to
stay with her.
Speaker 2 (55:18):
And I just do you want to be with her?
Though you're not answering the question yes or no? Is
this what you want? Is this forever?
Speaker 3 (55:24):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (55:25):
So yeah, why did you cheat? I'm just curious because.
Speaker 1 (55:28):
He hasn't lived, took his virgin hood.
Speaker 2 (55:30):
He needed to touch something out his virgin of his virginity.
Speaker 9 (55:35):
Basically, I'm not home when I was thirteen, right, she's
a couple of years older than me. Basically, she did
cheat on me a couple of times.
Speaker 17 (55:43):
She cheated on you, Okay, yeah, but the only reason
I took off the light in a way, it was
because when she's by and I kind of kind to
trick me with that, oh, it's just a girl. Just
well then slowly thirty and messages and about her boys
(56:03):
friends and stuff like that. And then I kept the quiet.
I kept the person because I.
Speaker 9 (56:08):
Did love them, and I guess I sat her in
that grudge, and I guess they got to the point
that I don't.
Speaker 2 (56:16):
Know, I feel don't communicate with each other enough. That's
what it sounds like.
Speaker 1 (56:21):
Has she given your thumb?
Speaker 2 (56:24):
No, Brian, you didn't. You guys don't communicate enough though, right, No,
we don't. That feels like the biggest issue here because
there's a some type of going back and forth. She cheated,
then you cheated, then she's got this going on, but
you kept it to yourself. You didn't say anything. What
is up with that breakdown? Why can't y'all manage to
come together to have these because you know when you
(56:46):
get married, it is going to have to be y'all
constantly letting each other know what's going on and letting
her know how you feel and listening to how she feels.
Speaker 18 (56:55):
So well, today I was kind of want you go
take whatever and have a series maybe final talk, which
I hope isn't the case for I want to actually
for one to have a conversation and see what.
Speaker 9 (57:11):
Happens after that.
Speaker 2 (57:13):
Right, you guys are definitely not ready to get married
right now, so.
Speaker 9 (57:16):
I think, yeah at this point really.
Speaker 2 (57:21):
But maybe later. But right now it seems like you
guys need to work on repairing your relationship and learning
how to communicate with each other better and expressing how
you feel and being able to make her feel safe
enough to explain herself to you and have those conversations.
So it's good that y'all had taken that first step
toward that, but you got to make a decision on
what you want to really make an effort to do
(57:41):
moving forward and really move toward that.
Speaker 1 (57:43):
No, I'm serious, but listen, I know I'm serious.
Speaker 5 (57:46):
And it may sound funny, but since she's cheating with
other women and he's cheating with other women, they might
as well bring other women in the bed like this
is a prime.
Speaker 1 (57:55):
Example of a threesome. Kid, do you want to say
say the marriage?
Speaker 9 (58:00):
She doesn't want to ask she has I guess got
to see that she doesn't want to see me sleeping
with other women.
Speaker 2 (58:10):
And that's fair. You can't try to pressure somebody to
do something they don't want to do. But look, you
guys need to make a decision on what you want
to do and work toward that moving forward, or mutually
decide maybe we need a break, but whatever it is,
y'all got to decide together. And then if you decide
you want to move forward, you have to figure out, Okay,
this is what I need from you. You have to
(58:30):
listen to what she needs for you to do, and
you guys have to really make sure that you deliver
on those things. All right, All right, So think about
what you need to be able to move forward, and
then make sure you listen when she tells you what
she needs for you to be able to do all right,
all right, and then that's how you determine what's going
to happen moving forward. Can you do those things? Do
(58:51):
you want to do those things? And can she do
those things? And does she want to do those things?
All right? Well, thank you, Brian, good luck to.
Speaker 1 (58:58):
You, Thank you. All right, you have a good day,
all right, And.
Speaker 2 (59:03):
That is ask ye. Eight hundred two ninety two fifty
one fifty is the number advice though, all right, well
she doesn't want to have a threesome.
Speaker 1 (59:10):
Now they're both cheating with other ways.
Speaker 2 (59:12):
You don't want to al right, Well, anyway, when we
come back, you guys get to have the last word.
Eight hundred two ninety two fifty one fifty. It's way
up with Angela Ye up the.
Speaker 3 (59:21):
Phone, tapping to get your voice heard.
Speaker 1 (59:24):
What the word is?
Speaker 4 (59:26):
Here's the last word on way up with Angela. Yee?
Speaker 1 (59:29):
What's up?
Speaker 2 (59:30):
It's way up with Angela yee. I'm Angela yee.
Speaker 1 (59:33):
Well my good friend be hones Yes, yes, yes.
Speaker 2 (59:36):
You never know who your friend is nowadays.
Speaker 11 (59:38):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (59:38):
I mean when you're getting checked on the internet and
I didn't come your rescue, you never know, right, you
know what may no I didn't come your rescue.
Speaker 2 (59:46):
You didn't. And there's a lot I could do right now,
a lot of I think you need to.
Speaker 1 (59:52):
Go on there, a lot of secret footages that could
be leaked.
Speaker 2 (59:57):
Okay, go on there and check him.
Speaker 1 (01:00:00):
I don't know how to internet beef.
Speaker 2 (01:00:02):
I go too all because I'm gonna play one of
our conversations in anime. But you guys, it's a Friday,
and honestly, like we had so much fun. To make
sure you guys watch the fight this weekend. Aerospence Terrence
Crawford may know you have aero Spence.
Speaker 1 (01:00:18):
I have Terrence, but I haven't worked out what you're.
Speaker 2 (01:00:22):
But you're gonna be wearing the same outfit you're gonna do.
Speaker 5 (01:00:26):
It's something I gotta if it isn't matter, you're gonna
lose it happens.
Speaker 2 (01:00:30):
Imagine Mayo who comes in here every day and a
brand new outf no matter what. Okay, having to wear
the same thing for an entire and not just wear it,
but you have to document it. So every day we
need to make sure we take pictures of you in it.
Speaker 5 (01:00:46):
You gotta post imagine. That's all you wanna do is imagine.
You'll never see it.
Speaker 2 (01:00:52):
All right, but you guys be safe again. It is
the weekend, so remember not drinking and driving, all right,
take it easy, be safe, show love, and thank you
