have offset coming through jealousy. We're gonna play that interview
twice today. As a matter of fact, we had a
good time. We had some soul food, we had some
to kill ya, and we had some great conversation. This
was prior to Mayno losing the bet, so we didn't
(02:36):
have a chance to discuss that.
Speaker 1 (02:37):
But we will.
Speaker 2 (02:37):
And I know today's Monday may ovation is gonna have
to do with honoring your bets.

And I want to shine a light on Omaha's own
Terrence Craft.
Speaker 1 (04:00):
You know, he fought a great fight, yead. He fought
a great fight on.
Speaker 2 (04:03):
Saturday night, knocked down to Erow Spence for Ero Spence's
first time ever getting knockdown in the second round.
Speaker 1 (04:08):
Really knocking down three times. Aerospence never has never been
on canvas.
Speaker 3 (04:12):
He is now the undisputed welterweight champion and.
Speaker 1 (04:16):
It's the second time doing that. So he's the only
mail in boxing that ever done that.
Speaker 3 (04:20):
And shout out to Clarissa Shaw, she's done that.
Speaker 2 (04:22):
Who we love, Yes, and so she was the person
that was the only one in boxing period, as you
did in the fastest too.
Speaker 1 (04:28):
And you know what's interesting about that is that Floyd
has never been undisputed. Okay, he's never been undisputed.
Speaker 2 (04:34):
Well, I know when it comes to bets, I'm undisputed
up here, Okay, because mano, you definitely lost a bet. Now,
as we shine a light on Terrence Crawford, there were
a lot of people that were doubting him, a lot
of people that said that Errow Spence was gonna win.
Speaker 3 (04:46):
You were one of them.
Speaker 2 (04:47):
And here is Terence Crawford after the fight, calling out
those non believers.
Speaker 4 (04:51):
Well, I've been telling each and every one of y'all
for years. A lot of y'all over here looking sad Ellie,
you're looking like her there because you was boring against me.
All in all, I get to say, I told y'all
because I've been asking for these fights for years.
Speaker 1 (05:08):
Mm hmmm.
Speaker 3 (05:09):
It's had to blackball him.
Speaker 2 (05:11):
They talked bad about him, people said he was gonna lose,
and here we are, Sam outfit for Listen.
Speaker 1 (05:16):
Sometimes you got to pool people wrong. It's okay. That happens,
all right. Look ahead, Now, who do you guys?

Speaker 1 (07:05):
Well, y'all making Mano feel lower.
Speaker 3 (07:12):
All that love, thank you?
Speaker 2 (07:14):
All right, Well that was shining light. I'm eight hundred
two ninety two fifty one fifty is the number. Call
us up in case you couldn't get through. You can
still get through for last word. And when we come back,
we have yet and Mano, since you're here and we
were here betting on the fight on Friday, let's talk
about the fight and everything that was happening in Vegas
over the weekend. Cardial B was out there. But who
who walked out? Terrence Crawford in the ring. And that's
(07:36):
when a lot of people were like, Okay, this is different.
Speaker 1 (07:39):
He's going to win because of that. I know people who.
Speaker 3 (07:41):
Change their bets when they saw that.
Speaker 2 (07:43):
Yes, I do really Yeah, personally I know people eight
hundred two nine fifty one fifty way up with Angela.
Speaker 7 (07:49):
Eat next, they says in the rooms from industry shade
to all of gossip out angelus feeling that eat.
Speaker 3 (08:00):
Yeah, it's way up at Angela.
Speaker 4 (08:01):
Yee.
Speaker 3 (08:01):
I'm Angela ye and.
Speaker 1 (08:03):
Mayno, let's get it not this week. You're not.
Speaker 2 (08:10):
So as y'all know, Mano lost to Betty gotta wear
the same outfit all week, and that bet was based
on what we're about to talk about. This fight that
happened Terence Crawford versus Errol Spence Jr. Now, the first
thing that happened is Eminem walked out Terrence Crawford and
people were talking about how that even happened and happened
on social media, and Eminem said that you know that
(08:32):
he's his favorite boxer right now, and Terrence Crawford said,
I would love.
Speaker 3 (08:35):
For you to walk me out, and it happened.
Speaker 1 (08:37):
Yeah, that was big.
Speaker 2 (08:39):
I was surprised because I know that the conversation happened,
but I didn't know that it was confirmed. And Lose
Yourself is a perfect song to come out to when
you're about to win a fight.
Speaker 1 (08:47):
You gotta lose yourself to grind all.
Speaker 2 (08:52):
Right Now, I see what they're talking about with Errol
Spence Jr. Now, one thing that I will say that
has been a question for people is he had a
two car crashes and one of them caused a detached
retina from twenty nineteen. So some people were talking about
how it seemed like he didn't see those punches coming,
and so people are also questioning his eye.
Speaker 1 (09:13):
But he's had other fights too, two or three, yeah,
maybe two or three. Because the Sean Porter fight was
before before the car crash.
Speaker 2 (09:20):
I think mm hmm, he had a retina tear and
so you know, we don't know if that had anything
to do with it. But Terrence Crawford, like he said,
and his press conference afterward, a lot of people were
going against him. He has been wanting to have these
types of fights, and now he did have it, and
people did see the precision the power that he has.
Speaker 1 (09:38):
Right, right, But you gotta respect Spence for keeping it
very sportsman like. He didn't have no excuses. He said, Look,
he was the better man at night, and that's just that.
I don't have no excuses period.
Speaker 3 (09:50):
All right.
Speaker 2 (09:51):
In addition to that, you know, in this realm of
Vegas and what was happening out there, Cardi b this
was a big story. She ended up throwing the micro
phone as somebody who threw uh yeah, some type of
drink on her, which, by the way, if an artist
is performing and you want to throw stuff on stage,
who knows what can happen to you next. So here's
what she said after she threw the mic. Now I
see people saying she hit the wrong person with the mic.
(10:13):
I'm not sure what happened with that, but here is
what she had to say on stage. All right, so
one more time, one more time, one more game. Okay,
So anyway, that was her response after that. But yeah,
she said, splash.
Speaker 1 (10:33):
My why people that happened to me, I've done the
same thing. What Yeah, people throwing drinks in your face?
Speaker 3 (10:39):
Well, I don't even understand, Like, I don't know what.
Speaker 2 (10:42):
I just don't understand when artists spray the audience with
their I mean, some audience members like that.
Speaker 1 (10:46):
I guess let's sometimes be water champagne, not cool crazy
all right.
Speaker 2 (10:51):
Now, speaking of fights, also, I see that right now
Clarissa Shields she's been wanting to fight Keith Thurman, and
I don't know if that's really gonna happened, but the
two of them were going back and forth on social media.
Speaker 1 (11:03):
I don't want to see that.
Speaker 2 (11:04):
Yes, and so she said, I'll fight thermin at one
fifty four is so serious. All the respect in the
world to him too, I just think I can outbox him.
And he said, basically, you know, it was a nice twitterxtence,
she said, you know, I wouldn't wear bigger gloves. I
would wear smaller gloves, and I would let her wear
headgear too. I don't want to punch a girl in
the face. And he said he would do it for
(11:24):
a charity event. She definitely could be too, no question,
what boxing you think? So, Clarissa, Oh my god, let's
set it up.
Speaker 1 (11:38):
I wouldn't even.
Speaker 3 (11:39):
Sew her like that.
Speaker 1 (11:39):
Why would you play with me? Why would you insert
me in that? Why would you put me in that? Okay?
Speaker 3 (11:45):
Well, because I would.
Speaker 1 (11:46):
Love to see it. I don't want no smoke, Clarissa.
Speaker 2 (11:48):
All right, and then in the next ut, we are
going to talk about what's happening right now on social
media with Summer Walker, Jada Cheese, Dusty Yore. They're going
at it right now, so we'll keep you guys updated
on that. But when we come back, Oh, this is nice.
We have about last night and it was a very
active weekend for us.
Speaker 1 (12:04):
I lost. It's okay, Angela, it's all.
Speaker 2 (12:08):
Right, dragging rights, bragging, right, all right, it's the way
you put the Angela yee about last night is next
and this is going to be a time because Mano
and I were going back and forth too, and made
the best man win.
Speaker 3 (12:19):
It's the way you put the angela yee last night.
Speaker 7 (12:22):
So about last night, la last nights I went.
Speaker 2 (12:27):
Down, Hey, it's the way you put the angela yee.
I'm angela yee.
Speaker 3 (12:32):
And Meno is here?
Speaker 1 (12:33):
No new man or not the old one, but maybe
the same one this week?
Speaker 2 (12:37):
Yeah, maybe the same the same a mano all week?
All right, So you know, for continuity purposes, I need
to document your entire off at the glasses everything.
Speaker 1 (12:46):
So I got to wear the glasses too.
Speaker 3 (12:47):
Yeah, everything has to be the same.
Speaker 1 (12:48):
It's crazy.
Speaker 2 (12:49):
It has to be the same, just like if you're
filming a movie and you need to put on the
same Yeah, the continuity purposes, you have to wear this
to bed too.
Speaker 3 (12:55):
I don't want to see you in nothing else posting online.
Speaker 1 (12:58):
That's cap stop playing with me.
Speaker 2 (13:01):
But the reason for this, in case you guys don't
already know, last week we.
Speaker 1 (13:06):
Did have a bet. We had a bet and I lost.
Speaker 3 (13:09):
Here is the audio, just to refresh.
Speaker 1 (13:12):
Keep on who you got. I'm going with Spence all right,
Well I'm.
Speaker 2 (13:16):
Going with Terrence Crawford then, okay, in that case, what
you want to bet you. Oh, I want you to
wear the same outfit for a week.
Speaker 1 (13:23):
So if you lose, then what you gotta tell me?
Speaker 3 (13:25):
I told you what you got to do with the same.
Speaker 2 (13:27):
Exact autphab seven day straight. And you can't buy the
same thing in different you gotta have the same exact thing. Okay,
it's way up at the intel antake pictures.
Speaker 1 (13:37):
I haven't worked out what you're.
Speaker 3 (13:41):
But you're gonna be wearing the same outfit.
Speaker 1 (13:44):
You're gonna do something I gotta if it isn't matter.
Speaker 3 (13:46):
You're gonna lose, You're gonna lose. Famous words.
Speaker 2 (13:51):
But no, honestly, you did lose, right, And there were
a lot of people, and I can't blame you may
know because there were a lot.
Speaker 3 (13:55):
Of people who bet wrong on this fight. And so
you're not alone having a day.
Speaker 1 (14:01):
You are having a day, You having a time. It's
all good, listen. They were two Titans in weal to waights, right,
let's not let's not let's not undermine Spence at all. No,
we're not three belts, all right, three belts. He unified
three belts and he was he was ruling. But there
(14:21):
was no way of us actually knowing that that Terrence
was more superior.
Speaker 3 (14:26):
Well, Terrence Crawford felt like you should know.
Speaker 2 (14:28):
Here's what he had to say at the press conference
afterwards to all of the people that were against him
and that we're going for Aero Spence Junior.
Speaker 4 (14:36):
Well, I've been telling each and every one of y'all
for years. A lot of y'all over here looking sad Ellie,
you're looking like her there because you was going against me.
All in all, I get to say, I told y'all
because I've been asking for these fights for years.
Speaker 3 (14:54):
So yeah, you're not alone.
Speaker 1 (14:55):
There were a lot in to his case, a lot
of politics, you know, had had to do with him
getting a fight, you know, yeah, what promoters he was
dealing with, and you know, Bob Aaron.
Speaker 2 (15:06):
Well, hopefully today's Monday Mannovation has to deal with being
being doubted and having people feel like you can't do
it and having people go against you.
Speaker 3 (15:15):
Because we all know what that feels like.
Speaker 1 (15:17):
Doubt is actually motivation.
Speaker 2 (15:18):
So yeah, yeah, so that's a great Monday manovation. Not
for me to tell you what you should be doing.
Speaker 1 (15:24):
You know what, I'm wanna go over it. I want
to sit over there again.
Speaker 2 (15:28):
Please, well listen, later this week, I would want you
to do that on the same outfit. As a matter
of fact, I'm online right now ordering some wet whites.
But shout out to what's his branding, money dream shot
out the money Dreams. You guys are gonna get love
all week, all week, all week long.
Speaker 3 (15:47):
Okay, money Dreams.
Speaker 2 (15:48):
We're gonna get different angles if you wearing this outfit,
We're gonna do all kinds of things. So let's enjoy,
all right. When we come back, let's get started with
some offsets. As y'all know, the song Jealousy k out
last week, but I did have a sit down with
him prior to that where we talked about a lot
of different things.
Speaker 3 (16:05):
You know, he hasn't done a lot of press lately.
Speaker 2 (16:07):
We saw the amazing Variety cover story that was done
by my girl, Jane Bolden. But now we're gonna have
a chance to talk to Offset here in the studio
and he'll be discussing a whole lot of different things,
including the theme of this song Jealousy. But when we
come back, let's just talk about everything that's been going
on with him. Musically, it's way up with Angela.
Speaker 7 (16:24):
Yee you day up with Angela Yee.
Speaker 3 (16:27):
What's up?
Speaker 2 (16:27):
Its way up with Angela Yee. I'm Angela Yee and
Offset is here?
Speaker 1 (16:31):
Yes, yes, what's that? What's going on? All right? I
appreciate you.
Speaker 2 (16:33):
We were talking behind the scenes about when you first
got out of jail. I randomly met you on the
street at the Bouchemi. That was a while ago, so
a lot.
Speaker 3 (16:45):
Has happened since then.
Speaker 2 (16:46):
But first let's say congratulations for being on that billboard
erst did you see the greatest groups.
Speaker 1 (16:51):
Of all time? Yeah, I've seen that. I've seen that. Yeah,
number eleven, number eleven. It's great, it's powerful. I feel
like you should have been a little high.
Speaker 2 (16:58):
I knew you was going to say that because I
saw you like, we're the greatest group of all time.
Speaker 1 (17:02):
Of course we'll say that, but you know, if you're
talking about culturally changed the way sound of music, because
then we went past hip hop and it went to
country and all the different genres is making the same
is that sounds we was making the cadence of how
we was writing. So I just feel like we could
have got top five.
Speaker 2 (17:17):
People would have been so tight because a lot of
those but like kind of legacy groups too.
Speaker 1 (17:21):
Yeah, it was I agree with our kids being in
one because you know, during that time, like the Downside,
music wasn't accepted at all. Nobody won the awards. It
want nothing to break their barrier and to still be
relevant right now. And they got diamond albums. Yeah they
do numbers. Just mentioned the skills.
Speaker 2 (17:36):
But let's talk about you doing music. Because another solo album,
So do we have a date? Because I see the
name of it is supposed to be oh too? Is
that still the title?
Speaker 1 (17:44):
Oh two?
Speaker 3 (17:45):
I saw that on like Genius, you know how they
have like the album, and then it happened.
Speaker 1 (17:49):
That I don't know what they talking about. So you
have a title. I have a title, but I don't
want to say the title because you might change it.
Speaker 7 (17:57):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (17:58):
But yeah, I got a new album on the way.
It's Fire Too. I put a lot into it. Took
me a long time to record it, and it's like
my breakaway in the show off who Oxet is? You
know what I'm saying. So even to the performance, all
the way to the down to the performance, so I
thought he was gonna come in here.
Speaker 2 (18:12):
Just like Michael Jackson, they had this whole thread of
all the times you was dressed like MJ.
Speaker 8 (18:17):
Yeah, so I'm running.
Speaker 1 (18:18):
It's like it's like purposely done too, you know. M
m It's just my little solid message because I just
feel like I'm Mike, it's my time, and Mike's at
a time point of time. He felt like it was
just time and took over and that's what I'm finn
to do. Like I've been a big Michael Jackson fan.
I got baby pictures dressing up like him.
Speaker 2 (18:32):
That is hilarious, by the way, because people, I think
don't even really get it because sometimes like you showed
up at the Spider Verse, I saw you at the
Little Mermaid performances and everything. I saw this whole thread
when they first did it, like all the times Offset
came out dressed like Michael Jackson. So is that when
you first started dancing, because that's another funny thing about it, to.
Speaker 1 (18:50):
Be honest, Yeah, that's when I first started dancing, to
be honest, Yeah, why are you laughing? Because it's just random.
Speaker 3 (18:57):
Like when they did that throwback of Offset, you were
into Whitney Houston.
Speaker 1 (19:01):
Yeah, I was like eight years old. Eight years old. Yeah,
people don't think about it. It's really I kind of
like people made a joke O, But if you were
to think about it, it's really kind of how time
caught up to itself and where I'm at in life now,
you know what I'm saying, Like I was able to
meet those type of people. I'm honored to be doing that.
So when I see the little jokes, it's funny, but
it's like it's dope. It's fire at the end of
the day, ain't nobody in hip hop.
Speaker 7 (19:21):
Can do it?
Speaker 1 (19:22):
Like, ain't none of the rappers they just walking on
the Stage's no shade to nobody, but honestly, like not
put on the show and so y'all gonna see what's
going on.
Speaker 2 (19:30):
So it just feels like there's some big plans when
you go on tour after the album comes out.
Speaker 1 (19:34):
Yeah, big plans.
Speaker 2 (19:35):
First of all, I would love to see you for real,
like dancing now. And I know that's a risky thing, no,
but I'm trying to think of who did it, But I.
Speaker 1 (19:43):
Don't feel like it's risky. I don't give it down.
What nobody to say, because the end of the day,
like I'm entertaining and like I'm doing something you can't do.
And I've seen it a long time ago when we
did the BT Awards, I think it's twenty eighteen. I
was like, I ain't gonna do that. Bro. Then I
ain't finna show these folks that cause. But then when
I did it, like the like to this day, it's
still one of my most view.
Speaker 3 (20:02):
Things, absolutely because people don't do that.
Speaker 1 (20:04):
People don't do it, and I just feel like, at
the end of the day, like I ain't got none
to prove. I'm just trying to I ain't trying to
be cool with like I'm trying to entertain people and
be like different from the rest of the artists is
doing what I'm doing because it's so many too.
Speaker 2 (20:16):
Right, I like this new talkative offset. Yeah, you feel
comfortable and comfortable.
Speaker 1 (20:22):
I'm good, all right, Well tears to that.
Speaker 2 (20:24):
And so when you put out your last solo album
that was father for clearly now you're a father of five,
and it's interesting to me because I remember when we
talked on the Breakfast Club and you talked about not
seeing your own dad for twenty three years, right, and
then reconnecting with him, and then having this realization that
at certain times you had your first kid when you
were seventeen and not being a dad that you could
(20:45):
have been, and then financially financially, but then I was
locked up.
Speaker 7 (20:49):
Too, I was broke.
Speaker 1 (20:50):
I went to jail a couple of times, but I
always dif my son, though I always talked to him.
I always made sure, like use that football practice, I'm there,
like showing my presence with him at all times that
I could.
Speaker 4 (21:00):
Like.
Speaker 1 (21:00):
Of course, I had unfortunate situations like going to jail
and being in certain situations, but I always was hard
on that because I remember how I felt like, you know,
I ain't never really hate my dad. I just felt
like I don't understand why you pulled off on me
like that, you know. And then it was like it
was certain things my mama couldn't teach me that my
brother taught me that might have been wrong that led
me to go do it the wrong way to get
(21:21):
a lot ter be doing these things. But so I
always just wanted to be that farm and I was
though you know, I wasn't locked up and I ain't
had no money. I was always present.
Speaker 3 (21:30):
You gave me your dad grace, though, and I think
that's an important lesson.
Speaker 2 (21:33):
Right. You knew that there were times you wish you
could have did more, because I think as a good parent,
you always feel like you're not doing enough right.
Speaker 1 (21:39):
I just looked at me and my dad like I
was like wanting to show him, like who the man
I became? You know what I'm saying. It wasn't like
without you type, but it was like I was really
proud of who I am. I'm like, let me show
you what I got going on, like I'm your son.
Like it wasn't more of a thing like I was
trying to be like why you ain't right because I
know how to be and I didn't been in the
streets too, so I know how i'd be like it
(22:01):
ain't no excuse, but I give you that excuse because
I hadn't been in situations like me sitting in jail.
I can't be there for my son literally because of
my decisions, what I'm doing, what got me caught up.
So I kind of like look at it like that,
because now that I got the real story on my
dad who he really was behind the scenes, I'm like, oh, okay, cool,
because I ain't really know who he was because it
(22:22):
was really you know, ma De's gonna keep it from it.
She ain't want to like she ain't really want to
ever talk about him, you know what I mean. So
when I really got to meet him, and then I
got to meet my aunties and some of my cousins
just telling me his journey and he was when I
even met him, I'm like, all right, ma, I ain't
gonna even make it like that bout that. I just
want to show him like this is a better way,
and like I made it and I love you at
(22:42):
the end of the day, no matter what.
Speaker 2 (22:44):
And I saw that for the BT Awards, and that
was a big deal, right, you said you were prepared
for that in sixteen hours.
Speaker 1 (22:51):
Yes, I literally landed in la at ten pm at
night from Paris. Shoot for real too. Like I was
in Paris and we were not knowing if we were
gonna do it or not, and we made a decisions
that we was gonna do it. I talked to for
Real and he really gave me some real grown man talk.
I don't really want to say too much on the interview,
but it was like some grown man talk, like hounding
(23:12):
your business and like doing things for the right moments
and for the right people and just go ahead and
do it. I got there at ten pm went straight
from the airport with my bags and car like to
the rehearsal. We sat down me and Quay and we
and we came up with the art and the creative
on how we're gonna do it. We actually flew in
a choreographer the morning of the BT to do the
choreographer the dancers did in the morning. Y'all was not
(23:34):
playing no, because at the end of the day, for
taking for our legacy, we really big. We not no
small for our little group, you know what I'm saying.
So I want everything I touched to be iconic. So
we did that in sixteen hours. And then like it
really cleared my soul, like what I said on my
live because it's like you know, being on stage my brother,
that felt good. We did it for take who is
not here, my brother, but it's like we is a
(23:55):
big deal. And we moved the coach and even like
when I walked on stage, like how loud, it was
just like gave me like a just like an energy boost.
Speaker 3 (24:04):
That's Dobe.
Speaker 2 (24:04):
And even after where that was the moment that everybody
was talking about, everybody was happy. Everybody was also thinking,
oh this means about to reunite. But then we saw
that got a little bit shut down.
Speaker 1 (24:14):
But we don't really know. We don't even know where
that came from either, to be honest, but.
Speaker 3 (24:18):
Because people think that, like people think, all right, well
they are on stage now.
Speaker 1 (24:22):
People. I always realized too, like we missing a bro.
So it's like it's something missing and it's hard to
move and our personal lives, it's hard to move like
he there. You know what I'm saying. It's like it
was so great when he was there. We were afraid
it might we might water it down, you know what
I'm saying, Like we missed take like he's the glue.
(24:43):
He's the one, you know what I'm saying. We always
said it from day one, all every interview. Take that God,
he's the one, the one who made it. Like his energy,
his vibe and everything about it is what is the
aura of the Migos?
Speaker 3 (24:54):
All right? Well it's way up in Angela yee.
Speaker 2 (24:56):
As you can see, Offset is here and we'll have
a whole lot more with him later on today and
when we come back, we have yet and speaking of cheating,
what's happening with Summer Walker and Little Meach and Jada
Wada and Destyr We got it for you.
Speaker 3 (25:11):
It's way up at Angela.
Speaker 8 (25:12):
Ye.
Speaker 7 (25:12):
Sure, she's about to blow the lid off this spot.
Let's get it. Angela's feeling that, yeete, come and get
the tea. What's up?
Speaker 3 (25:20):
Its way up at Angela yee. I'm Angela yee. And
Mano is here.
Speaker 6 (25:23):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (25:25):
All right, let's get into some yet today. As you know,
Offset is here.
Speaker 2 (25:30):
We're playing an Offset interview all during the show, so
you heard some of it and there's more coming up.
But let's talk about Summer Walker, all right. She posted
on social media. I tried my best to be Jada Wada,
but I couldn't. It was cute, though I wish.
Speaker 1 (25:44):
Him the best.
Speaker 3 (25:45):
Can't do that cheating stuff.
Speaker 2 (25:47):
You know, she's been dating Meach and people have been
telling her that he was cheating, and I guess she
must have found something else out.
Speaker 3 (25:54):
Well, why did you bring Jada into it?
Speaker 6 (25:56):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (25:56):
Why she throw the shot and hit the girl with
the stray?
Speaker 3 (25:59):
Now, Jada responded, I learned my lesson after one kid.
Speaker 2 (26:02):
M memphs around here is starting their own trends and
trying to insert me in for laps on the shade room. No,
and then Dusty or you know her and Data are besties,
said she could have got the same point across of that,
mentioning Jada, we've all had our run with the N word,
including you stop it, so yeah, don't.
Speaker 1 (26:17):
Bring me into you. She made a point, but I
feel it though.
Speaker 2 (26:21):
Yeah, And I'm sure for her it's also embarrassing because
people were definitely telling her leave them alone, X, Y
and Z, and she was very adamant about how great
things were. Sometimes you put your relationship out there publicly,
things happen.
Speaker 1 (26:33):
And now so she said she can't she can't take
no cheating, no level cheating.
Speaker 6 (26:37):
Right.
Speaker 2 (26:37):
In other words, she's trying to allude to the fact
that she feels like Jada kept getting cheated on but
staying with somebody and she can't do that.
Speaker 1 (26:43):
But that ain't really her business though, right right, You.
Speaker 2 (26:47):
Know, everybody's situation is different, so all right, So yes,
I'm sure there's going to be some more back and forth,
all right. Gilly the Kid has broken his silence on
the passing of his son. As you know, his son
was shot and killed in Philadelphia, and he did have
his his concert events, right and while he was on
stage at Gilly Fest, he did have a tribute to
(27:11):
his son Yang Cheese and here's what he had to
say while he was on stage.
Speaker 1 (27:16):
And even the people that sat out in this work
the bottom up my home that we won a party
and we go live with my son.
Speaker 3 (27:26):
With cheese man.
Speaker 2 (27:28):
And I was saying that too when this first happened.
I knew we had gilly Fest coming up, and what
do you do in a situation like that? But he
did go forward with it, and he did pay tribute.
Speaker 1 (27:38):
Many many condolences to him. His family couldn't even imagine that. Bro.
Speaker 2 (27:42):
He also posted his son and said, I miss you
like ish dev. My heart will forever have a black
hole in it, but you know your father got to
be strong to hold the family up. Thanks for all
the support from family, friends and all of my followers.
You are really helping me get through these rough times.
Me and my family appreciate and.
Speaker 1 (27:56):
Love you all.
Speaker 2 (27:57):
Rest well, Dev and watch over us. No I got
a chase, love you Cheese, oh man.
Speaker 1 (28:02):
That is to be crazy and you.
Speaker 3 (28:04):
Know along those lines.
Speaker 2 (28:06):
Ayana van Zen has announced the death of her youngest daughter, Nissa.
She posted on social media, it is with great sorrow
that we announced the transition of Nissa van Zant, the
youngest daughter of our beloved Ayana van Zane.
Speaker 3 (28:17):
We are asking for your prayers.
Speaker 2 (28:19):
Please respect the privacy of her and her family at
this time, so there's no further details released on what
actually happened in that situation.
Speaker 1 (28:26):
Wow, I know that is the worst pay a human
can feel, is losing a child.
Speaker 2 (28:32):
And I always say, you know, while it's always hard
to lose a parent too, that's like the natural order.
Speaker 1 (28:37):
That's the natural order things. You gotta kind of respect
that and you put that in perspective, right, that's the
way it's supposed to go.
Speaker 2 (28:45):
Yeah, all right, Now, Yesterday Football three sixty five reported
that jay Z is interested in purchasing English soccer team,
and that is the Tottenham Hotspur from British billionaire Joe Lewis.
Speaker 3 (28:58):
That family's trust currently owns.
Speaker 2 (29:01):
The team, but he was indicted on sixteen counts of
securities fraud in the United States on Wednesday, So now
it looks like jay Z is hoping that he.
Speaker 3 (29:09):
Can be part of that situation.
Speaker 2 (29:11):
According to Football three sixty five, it's just some interest
right now. I think when the guy got caught up,
jay Z was like, here's an opportunity with someone else's
unfortunate situation. Now here's a chance for me to actually
be part of something lucrative. So it's not clear what
the purchase price will be or what other investors could
(29:33):
potentially team up with jay Z to make this investment happen,
but we'll see everybody making their business power moves.
Speaker 1 (29:41):
All right.
Speaker 2 (29:41):
When we come back, we have under the radar. These
are the stories that are not necessarily soroally in the headlines.
They're flying under the raidar, and we definitely feel like
you need to know them as well. I'm here with
my guy man O day one, day one, wearing the
same outfit.
Speaker 3 (29:56):
It's way up with Angela yeah.
Speaker 7 (29:58):
Next news that relates to you. These stories are flying
under the radar.
Speaker 2 (30:04):
What's up his way up at Angela ye, Angela yee,
and Mano is here Yes, I'm yeah, and.
Speaker 3 (30:09):
It's time for these under the radar stories.
Speaker 1 (30:12):
Okay.
Speaker 2 (30:13):
First up, the first stadium built for professional women's sports
teams is going to be in Kansas City, So that's
a huge thing. The Kansas City Current of the National
Women's Soccer League will train and play in this one
hundred and twenty million dollar facility starting next spring eleven thousand,
five hundred fans when it opens, and they're saying that
could expand to twenty two thousand in the future.
Speaker 7 (30:34):
I love it.
Speaker 3 (30:35):
Okay, we love to see it.
Speaker 1 (30:36):
Let's go. As a matter of fact, we need to
be there for that opening. When they they're gonna honor you.
Speaker 3 (30:43):
No, I'm gonna honor them.
Speaker 2 (30:45):
Okay, that's a huge deal. Now carl Russell is being charged.
You know, there was a question about whether or not
they were going to charge it with anything. What they
could charge her with. That is the woman who told
police that she was kidnapped after she went missing for
two days. She was arrested on Friday and charged with
two miss deans for making false statements to police.
Speaker 3 (31:02):
They announced this during a press conference on Friday.
Speaker 2 (31:05):
He said he shares in the frustration that Carlie Russell
was only charged with misdemeanors and said that he's calling
on state legislators to add an enhancement to the law
when somebody falsely reports kidnapping or another violent crime. He
said existing laws only allowed the charges that were filed
to be filed.
Speaker 3 (31:20):
She was released after posting two thousand dollars bond.
Speaker 1 (31:24):
She did all that for what.
Speaker 3 (31:26):
I don't know that we still know.
Speaker 2 (31:27):
And I wonder when she's gonna ever talk about it
or we'll find out what her motivation was. A lot
of people were saying it had to do with her
ex but we haven't heard what she has.
Speaker 1 (31:35):
To say, or she's still doing it like the Jesse
Smaller thing, because he's still sticking to his story. Hey listen,
he's still sticking to a store.
Speaker 3 (31:42):
He has not ever said that he made anything.
Speaker 2 (31:45):
Yeah, yeah, okay, now let's discuss Oh and by the way,
this was one of the weirdest stories we've seen and
I opened up the show today talking about it, but
we didn't get into death about it. A man spent
fourteen thousand dollars. He transformed himself into a dog, into
a collie, into a dog, and he went out for
his first ever walk in public. So he's a native
(32:08):
Japanese person. He's from Japan and that's what it cost, right.
His name online is Toco Online, and he said that
this clothing that he purchased actually helped him realize his
dream of becoming an animal. He has this YouTube channel
where he shows himself.
Speaker 1 (32:24):
Look and he really does look like a collie, right,
but it's just like a suit though he just got it,
climbed the side of it.
Speaker 2 (32:32):
It looks real though it's not like those Times Square
uniforms the costumes they have. Like, he really looks like
a co Yeah, he's walking on four legs and he
just I guess had some type of fetish to want
to do this. He said he since he was a kid,
had a vague dream of becoming an animal. Now it
(32:54):
took forty days to create this fashion item and it
ended up costing him about fourteen thous dollars.
Speaker 3 (33:00):
Like I said, he really looks like this dog.
Speaker 1 (33:04):
Yeah, he looks like a dog, but let me see.
Uh yeah, and he's really being washed the other day.
He looks like a fact if you guys.
Speaker 2 (33:13):
Yeah, the dog is kind of looks like a dog
that needs to run around. But you know, I mean,
I guess if you can make your dreams a reality,
why not if that's your dream since a child, would
you do what you please?
Speaker 1 (33:24):
All right?
Speaker 4 (33:25):
Now?
Speaker 2 (33:25):
Yellow Corp. Is a ninety nine year old trucking company.
It was once dominating in the field of trucking. Well,
they have announced that they shut down and that means
thirty thousand people are out of work. The company stopped
picking up freight from his customers by midweek last week,
and so the union agreed to not go on strike
against Yellow, but they could not reach an agreement on
a new contract. They actually had gotten a seven hundred
(33:48):
million dollar loan from the federal government in twenty twenty,
and taxpayers hold thirty percent of the outstanding stock. So
what they are saying is this bankruptcy filing, you know,
is happening, and that could actually affect our taxes as well. So, yes,
thirty thousand people out of work, and they actually were
one of the cheapest companies too to be able to
(34:08):
We have a loan, seven hundred million dollar loan from
the government, So I don't know what that's going to
do for the average person's pockets now. But they're saying that,
you know, the the union granted the company in extra
month to make require payments, but they're not doing it.
And they're saying that this news is unfortunate but not surprising.
(34:29):
Yellow has historically proven that it could not manage itself
despite billions of dollars in work of concessions and hundreds
of millions in bailout funding from the federal government. All right,
well that is your under the radar. Look at you, Mano,
So I got to get used to seeing you in
this outfit. All right, now, we do have the Way
Up Mixed coming at the top.
Speaker 1 (34:48):
Of the hour.
Speaker 3 (34:48):
Yeah, it's a nice outfit.
Speaker 2 (34:50):
I expect to see you in this Tomorrow, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday.
All right, we got the Way Up Mix at the
top of the hour. Plus Upset is going to be
joining us. He wouldn't never wear the same outfit seven
days in a row.
Speaker 1 (35:03):
So if he made the same bet with you, you
would expecting them to keep it right, keep it Yeah.
Speaker 2 (35:07):
Of course I'm expect him to do that. But we
do have a Monday innovation today, right, Okay, I cannot
wait to hear that.
Speaker 1 (35:13):
It's a disc record.
Speaker 2 (35:17):
More offset today. It's way up at Angela ye again,
way yup makes at the top of the hour.
Speaker 1 (35:21):
Let's go.
Speaker 5 (35:23):
Just like the talk like a Angela Jean, like they
angela jee.
Speaker 7 (35:27):
Man she's spilling it all. This is yee te way.
Speaker 3 (35:33):
Yes, it's way up at Angela Yee, Angela yee. And
Mano is here.
Speaker 1 (35:39):
This week.
Speaker 2 (35:39):
Yes, and happy birthday by the way to Gilly. Yes
it's also his birthday today. Yes, so that's why Gilly
Fest just happened to All right, let's.
Speaker 3 (35:50):
Start it off with some Drake.
Speaker 2 (35:52):
Drake was doing an interview on the side Talk digital show.
Speaker 3 (35:56):
He was in New York and he was inside star Let.
You know he is Starlet's fanatic.
Speaker 2 (36:01):
Yeah, And here's what he had to say about the
type of things that he looks for, what he looks
for in a woman and a woman.
Speaker 8 (36:07):
Live at Starlets. You know what I'm saying, I talk though.
Speaker 7 (36:10):
You know what time it is.
Speaker 8 (36:11):
Man, we're in here. Man, I'm wearing pox ring. They
got my baby Mama on the wall over there at
the gallon. I'm gonna come give you guys a love.
You know what I'm saying.
Speaker 1 (36:18):
What's the number one trait you're looking for in a
ting humor?
Speaker 8 (36:20):
If she watches this and it's not funny to her,
she's a dull.
Speaker 1 (36:23):
City has the biggest density of things, density of things,
most amount of tings in a limited amount of space.
Speaker 8 (36:29):
Damn, Denver, Hell, Scarborough, Mine and cree podca One word
of wisdom for everyone watching right now, talking like you or.
Speaker 1 (36:37):
There's a lot going on. Shout out to Starlets man.
Speaker 2 (36:40):
But you know his child's mother actually used to work
at Starlets. So when he said, yeah, I.
Speaker 1 (36:45):
Don't remember her working there, we know you would know.
I'm on the Wall of Fame, I mean, and when
you walk in Starless, I'm one of the one of
the big pictures on the wall.
Speaker 3 (36:53):
And he also showed off the ring that he bought
that was Tupac's ring.
Speaker 1 (36:58):
Also in this episode, the Crown Ring.
Speaker 2 (37:01):
Yes indeed, all right, And another Drake news, Fat Joe
admitted on his life and this is pretty funny that
he is.
Speaker 3 (37:10):
Jealous of Drake. Here's what he said.
Speaker 9 (37:12):
And let me tell you why I might be jealous
of Drake. I've never seen a guy people love more.
Because this rumor is this airplane, which looks like the
flyers plane in the world, was actually given to him
by a friend. Then there's a guy who wounds all
of Crypto. He buys the Tupac ring four million dollars
(37:34):
and gives it to Drake. Bro they won't give me
a pack of socks. Every time I turned around, I
answered about somebody giving.
Speaker 7 (37:41):
Drake some crazy.
Speaker 3 (37:44):
I didn't know that. They said the plane that he
has was a gift.
Speaker 1 (37:48):
I didn't know that. I didn't know that the ring
was given to him either. I thought he bought that.
Speaker 2 (37:52):
Well listen, they are saying though it because then I
did a deeper dive. And on Traveling Leisure they have
a whole article how it got a one eighty five
million dollar Boeing seven sixty seven for free.
Speaker 7 (38:04):
Wow.
Speaker 2 (38:05):
You know, so apparently he got it because they felt
like it would pay for itself and publicity.
Speaker 1 (38:13):
Really, she sh.
Speaker 2 (38:16):
All right, well, fat Joe may not be wrong. It
might be jealous, and this assessment, we might all be jealous.
Imagine you got a plane for free and you've seen
that Ovo jet.
Speaker 1 (38:29):
Yeah, and then the ring. He managed to get that.
Speaker 3 (38:32):
For free too.
Speaker 1 (38:33):
Wow.
Speaker 3 (38:34):
I mean, he's not off with this, but I thought
he purchased it for himself.
Speaker 1 (38:38):
But you know, I don't know. All right now.
Speaker 2 (38:42):
In other news, Nicki Minas once again somebody is swatting
her and Pleae showed up to her house. I guess
somebody keeps on calling in the police and making false reports,
all right. There was a nine one one hoax call
that she had been shot, and police arrived at her
house on Saturday afternoon and yet another praying call. They
need to find out who this is. Yeah, that's dumb
(39:03):
because people are wasting resources.
Speaker 1 (39:06):
Stop playing mm hmm.
Speaker 2 (39:08):
Now, one thing Nicki Minaj did do was give a
pink Friday to update, all right, and she's saying that
this is a masterpiece that'll save mankind. So I know
everybody's going to be excited to hear a new Nicki
Minaj album. Yeah, she's been talking about this for quite
some time and.
Speaker 3 (39:25):
The barbers are going crazy. All right. Now, Kanye's Twitter
account has been reinstated. It's called X. Have you noticed
the X on your phone? Instead of Twitter?
Speaker 1 (39:36):
I don't really be on Twitter. Let me show it
to you.
Speaker 3 (39:38):
So now when you look at the app, it's just
a big X. You see the X right there.
Speaker 2 (39:43):
Yeah, So everybody's been talking about this like why did
they even do this? But now they're saying that he
had to promise to refrain from posting anti Semitic content.
Speaker 3 (39:53):
So that's the deal that he has. You're right man,
now that you have to wear all week.
Speaker 8 (39:58):
All right.
Speaker 2 (39:59):
We're going to talk about that more when we come back,
because that was your eet. But it is a Monday.
Not only is it Monday Maynovation, it is day one
of you wearing an outfit for seven whole days.
Speaker 3 (40:12):
Okay, seven days, not an outfit change.
Speaker 2 (40:18):
We cannot wait to see how you are feeling after
you're able to put on new clothes.
Speaker 3 (40:22):
I don't want you to take this for granted.
Speaker 1 (40:24):
Listen, you know what I do. You know what? Okay,
It's okay because they know what I do. Okay, they
know they know how I.
Speaker 2 (40:32):
Put on all right, And we're gonna be doing a
random facetimes to check in a problems what we do
do random lives to make sure you have this outfit on.
So Monday May Ovation when we come back, and I
know this all has to be about counting people out.
Speaker 3 (40:46):
Okay, It's way up at Angela, Ye, Monday Maynovation.
Speaker 7 (40:53):
You way.
Speaker 3 (40:55):
Of course, that was jealousy. It's way up with Angela yee.
Speaker 2 (40:58):
That is new OFFSET feature and Cardi B and here's
some more with my exclusive sit down with Offset. Clearly
like you and CARTI have worked through a lot of
different things during your marriage, yeah right, and been committed
to each other and been committed to making things work,
and even on your last solo album. You talk about
that a lot too, you know, just being not the
(41:19):
greatest husband and messing up. And then now there's been
some rumors that you guys, Now, first there was a
whole thing where this woman posted and said that she
was in the house right, and then you posted something
about Cardi and people think that she cheated because you
did a post and de lead.
Speaker 1 (41:36):
Yeah, so tell us about all right, so that posts
to be honest, like me and her going, it's my wife.
I love it it though, Like we're going back and forth,
and if you got a New York woman, you know,
she's a pit bull at the man. She called your country.
I was really lit that night. I was lit a
little cost me go here, and now you know I
was lit. And then we're going back and forth and
I'm like, watch this and it's like she got a
(41:58):
crazy mind. But I love my wife at the end
of the day, and she crazy. Man, you might be
crazy too. I'm crazy. Okay, there we go. I'm crazy
for each.
Speaker 2 (42:06):
Otherren Okay, Yeah, let's take some accountability because now I'm
not gonna lie. When I saw that, right and I
read it on the air, I interpreted it differently than
what it was because when you said my wife famware
on me gang y'all andwares know how I come. I
thought you were saying hypothetically if she did that, that's
what I said. I was like, yeah, I think he
means hypothetically. But Cardi definitely set you straight.
Speaker 10 (42:28):
I don't pay attention to that country man, y'all. I'm
Cardi being there. I was giving this to anybody, it
will be out. I'm not just anybody you know, regular
dear schmuggler, because they're gonna tell the world and I
can't somebody in the industry because they're gonna tell two
So please boy, stop.
Speaker 1 (42:46):
Back to stupid.
Speaker 2 (42:47):
Are you gonna publicly like did you think I need
to get online and clear this up?
Speaker 3 (42:50):
Or you think a delete is enough?
Speaker 4 (42:52):
Uh?
Speaker 1 (42:52):
The delete is enough, cause like at the end of
the day, like them, people don't be really knowing what's
going on with us for real life. They always attacking
like it'll be straight lives or something, and it's just
be attacking. And to be honest, like, I hate the
fact that every time she have an issue with somebody
else or if they bringing me up and then it'd
be like my past be covering up everything out and
(43:13):
did like all this time, I ain't did nothing, and
then it'd be my past. Oh he cheated, cheated, cheat,
the cheated, chat cheating. But it's like that's to be
unfair to me, like because I'll be working hard, I
haven't done anything. I support my wife. We got so
much businesses and big things going on, and as soon
as it's just an argument, they just attack me right
and then I'm in the middle. And then now people
(43:33):
just go against me like oh, you did this, this, this, this, this, this,
and then me I'm not even in that. Dude, I
don't really be like trying to keep clearing my name
when I know at the end of the day, but
they talking about it's incorrect.
Speaker 3 (43:46):
But then you did that post. I was shocked at
that because you don't do stuff like that.
Speaker 1 (43:50):
Yeah, I don't be I don't do none of that.
But it's like you get fed up at this point
of time, like they be trying to mess up my
household with cap and then bring up my past and
then I can't get past my past, and I know
that hurt my wife every time, you know what I'm saying.
Speaker 2 (44:01):
So that thing felt Now you think you could cheat
on somebody and still be in love for sure. Okay,
So I want to ask you this, that's a man.
That's a man that women want to know. Why do
men cheat? Like what was for yourself?
Speaker 1 (44:14):
Well, I can't personally speak on why men cheap for you?
Like when I did do that, Like I was in
a different space. I was young, I had just got married,
I'm getting a lot of money. Really was communication. Our
communication was good, but it wasn't like I wasn't saying
I want you knees and what and vice versa. So
it was like sometimes you feel like you're when you're
(44:34):
not communicating, cause it's like it's hitting gyms. We both
in the front, center stage, we both all our business
is always public. The communication. What it was, I was drawn,
I was on different like I was on lean too,
Like I was making bad decisions, not really realizing it's
affecting my family instead of just me thinking about my
own life. But then when I grow past that, all
(44:55):
my growth, Why you think she loved me? How she
loved me? Like my growth, I didn't show like I'm
a real one, Like I'm not gonna do this. I
ain't gonna play with you, I ain't gonna keep playing
with you. And then because it's affecting you and it's
it's heartbreaking, is wrong, you know what I'm saying. But
the people are still popping out like, oh, if anybody
say anything, it's that, no matter, it's been four years,
(45:15):
three four years, no nothing, it's just that and that
sticks and they be lame cause it's like, bro, we
got we real people at the same time, and y'all
people just be attacking me when it's no fact. When
I'm wrong, he was wrong. When I was wrong, I
got on it and said it right because I wanted
to show her too, like I'm a man. They're gonna
accept my that's gonna accept my wrong doing. And I
did that. So when you see me not saying nothing
(45:37):
to be boring like, and then I just don't be
wanting to feed into it because I'm gonna lose at
the end of the day, right, it's no way. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (45:44):
And I think going back and forth on social media
with people that's really just trying to, you know, get
you to respond, and also people trying to be funny.
Speaker 3 (45:51):
And I saw the meme and you responded to that
me and too with the that's gonna.
Speaker 1 (45:56):
Be playing with my grandma. They want to they playing
with it. I see, like I laughed at it, you
know what I'm saying.
Speaker 8 (46:01):
But it's like the and that is crazy.
Speaker 1 (46:03):
You can't win. So a lot of time I try
to stay away from it cause it's like, at the
end of the day, you're gonna lose, especially as a man.
I wanted to tell I see men do it all
the time, like trying to even go back and forth
with the women or trying to have your opinion on
a woman, like as players and as man, we gotta
stay on lane. You're gonna lose like that if you're
giving a pin on your Twitter anything or say anything
about like women topics or anything. That's why you're gonna
(46:26):
take her m That's why she noticed with me. Any
problem with my wife, I stand down because it's women
been and she gonna.
Speaker 7 (46:32):
Handle her own shit.
Speaker 3 (46:34):
Now let me ask you this as a man. So
now let's just say she did.
Speaker 2 (46:38):
Because when people did think when you posted that that
she cheated, let's just say she did. With that even
things out or do you feel like you couldn't handle it.
Speaker 1 (46:45):
All right already? And whoever it is, I ain't safe.
Speaker 2 (46:51):
Okay, I saw you did, sweet, you saw somebody in
her you saw somebody in her DMS.
Speaker 1 (46:56):
Then my wife, Like, you don't understand, right, this is
my wife. You know what I'm saying. I'm I'm a
grown man. I'm not playing, but mine never and mine
is a real one to though and gonna let me know, right,
even if it's a reminder to let me know, like hey,
I'm net.
Speaker 2 (47:10):
I feel like she's done a great job of always
being supportive and always you know, because at the end
of the day, it is hard when things happen publicly
and you have to justify, Oh well I'm staying with
him because it don't matter, I'm gonna go to somebody else.
He's gonna do the same. She clearly loves you a lot,
loves your family, loves your.
Speaker 7 (47:26):
Kids the death.
Speaker 2 (47:27):
Yeah, so I can't see her ever doing anything that
would be disrespectful to you, Like even if even a
different type of girl, to.
Speaker 1 (47:34):
Be honest, like she she a g she pop up
my mouth and like talk crazy, but on a lord's level.
I ain't never been with a woman's lord, right, like
being keeping a lot of like I'm connected too, like
I've been in this game. I'm real connected and like
nothing like clean slate, like everything be clean and clear,
(47:55):
and like that's why I'm not playing. So when you
playing in the d N and you're thinking it's a game,
she's a real one.
Speaker 7 (48:03):
She might be mad at me, but she a real one, right.
Speaker 3 (48:05):
She's not trying to just go out and she.
Speaker 1 (48:08):
Expect herselves her work too, Like she ain't no goofy,
so she gonna she ain't finna go for no play
no type of games. She's gonna let me know so
that I know, you know what I'm saying. And it's like, hey, man,
watch yourself, brothers, that's my wife.
Speaker 6 (48:21):
Brother.
Speaker 1 (48:21):
I ain't playing with y'all at all that serious, Like
I'm not playing risky and everything. You know when women DMU,
do you tell her to assure her because it's a
trick to me. I know it's a trick them come
through them like baby, you know her, I'm telling off, like, hey,
you know her.
Speaker 2 (48:37):
I do feel like you might see a lot of
people that are negative, but I feel like there's a
lot of people that love y'all together too at the
same time.
Speaker 1 (48:44):
Yeah, but it'd be like where they be at when
I see it, where they be at when it's time.
Speaker 2 (48:49):
I see people being like, I love them together. I
see people being like, fight for your women, But Carti's write.
A lot of women go through this, it's just not
publicly and it just makes it worse that, like she
got up, have people questioning her and trying to tell
her what to do when we know we all done
been in situations and but it's crazy like all.
Speaker 1 (49:08):
These people that all do that when you like your
home is terrible, or like most of these people are
saying is you're not even with nobody. It just irritates
me because at the end of the day, it'd be
like a narrative pushed on me. And I have a
lot of growth from my relationship.
Speaker 3 (49:22):
She's not stupid, all right. Offset is here.
Speaker 2 (49:25):
We did a nice long interview with him where we
discussed pretty much everything that has to do with his relationship,
some things that he never talks about.
Speaker 3 (49:32):
We have more when we come back with OFFSET. It's
way up at Angela Yee.
Speaker 7 (49:39):
You way up with what's up?
Speaker 3 (49:41):
Its way up at Angela Yee, and ADS promised we
have OFFSET here with me.
Speaker 1 (49:46):
Is your business better since you quit the lean for sure?
As I'm more intech I'm more in tune or my
being on paying attention to the money against I.
Speaker 2 (49:53):
Remember you were like, it helps me be more creative,
and sometimes people get hurt as a crutch.
Speaker 1 (49:57):
Like I feel like back then I was just not
that I done got clear, but I was really giving
myself an excuse for doing it. I feel like my
music gotnet made since it's way harder and way more
thought of and way more processing. I dug more deep
into the artistic side of myself on the music, I
might have been sounded the same and not realized it.
Like it was like when I got off the lean,
(50:18):
I was able to critique myself and change myself before
I was like, you know, I'm sit my sound my sound,
and then a lot of artists do that and you
be sounding the same. You're not really thinking that your
mind ain't clear. And then as far as the business
part of it, like I was just seeing better for
myself when I was on it, like I just want
better for myself, So what's the steps to get better
to it for myself? And that's that was the difference
(50:41):
off of that than that.
Speaker 2 (50:43):
When she sat down and talked to Jason Lee, he
was asking her how you got her back right after everything,
and she was like, that's a question for him to
be able to answer. So I was just wondering, what
are some of the conditions that she gave you in
order for her to give you another chance.
Speaker 1 (50:57):
Like she didn't like really give me no suggest since
And so I just made a grown man decision. And
I looked at myself, like I said, and said, what
am I doing that maybe deteriorate myself away from her?
And I felt like it was lean and the drugs,
because you know, you ain't really in tune, You're not talking.
You know, you're more aggravated. I'm giving aggravated vibes. I'm
(51:19):
giving like not really talking, no communication. She feels like
she talking to me, I ain't really talking to me.
And also like loyalty is everything. So I know, because
I'm a grown ass man, like I need to show
my wife that I'm with her and for her and
not playing around and like even if I gotta do
the extra mile as far as like stand up under
(51:40):
her and we just stand up on each other and
missing out on a couple of plays with work, like
sacrificing that to fix home and being home more and
being with the kids more because you know, I was
working at working and working at working. I'm trying to
I'm trying to at the same time, like me personally,
I'm the king of my household. I got to go
get it. I got five kids, I got an expensive
(52:01):
ass wife. I then spent ten million on my wife.
Speaker 3 (52:04):
But she spent a lot of money on YouTube.
Speaker 1 (52:06):
Yeah that's my baby, that's.
Speaker 5 (52:07):
She spent money on me.
Speaker 1 (52:08):
But but but but I didn't spend a ten million
on my wife. Like you got the house an, I'm
also and I'm also from the South, like I come
from the man running the household and the man and
that's what I do with my household. So for me
to be the leader of the house, I got to
tighten up. And then that's why when he asked a question,
she really ain't say like her suggestions, because as a man,
(52:30):
I talked to her and told of my plans. Hey, listen,
I'm finna get off of this. I'm finna do this,
and I'm finna do this for us to be able
to push forward. I'm always to get off. Well, that's hard.
I was doing it for my start of my career.
So like some man, years of it. It was hard,
you know. I was scared. I was in denial about it.
I was scared, like, damn, if I get out this,
(52:50):
maybe I ain't gonna make the music the same. And then,
like when I did it, the response from like my
business partners, people i'm in business with, like I'm more
and more activated on the meetings, I'm texting more, and
they like making me feel like without knowing that I
did this right, they made me feel like, damn, like
you stepping your stuff up. I love the way you're
conversating what it is you. I love the way the
communication is. More deals was coming and more bags was coming.
(53:13):
So I was like, I did the right I knew
I did the right thing because the people that didn't
even know will be telling me like, I'm loving the
new like how you speaking more? And how you how
you talking to us more? And then you got more questions.
Speaker 3 (53:23):
About this de Yeah, I like it. How physically?
Speaker 1 (53:25):
How was it though?
Speaker 3 (53:26):
Did you have like you know, real withdrawal?
Speaker 1 (53:28):
Oh that's real pain, man, that's the worst that I
went through.
Speaker 3 (53:31):
I think, did you do it just on your own
or did you have to go to rehab?
Speaker 4 (53:35):
Like?
Speaker 1 (53:35):
How did how did you do it. I did it
on my own, but it was the hardest ever. I
had to call like IV's and get all these things
cause like it break, it'll make you cry, yeah yeah,
And then what I'd be honest like during going through it,
I was mad that I'm going through this, like I
got means in my bank account and I'm feeling like
a j I'm hurting my stomach curve, I can't eat,
(53:57):
I'm throwing up, and I ain't like how to. It
made me feel like when you're doing it, you don't know,
but it's like when you're getting off, I'm like, I
ain't that ain't me. I didn't eat three and then
I could eat like I was sauce and then I'm
young song like boy hell and all this just in
the house while you were just like yeah, designated for myself,
like away from everybody, though I can't keep the bros
(54:19):
around and they still doing it because then it might
make me cause it's it's so much pain. It's that
is almost like a painkiller, Like if I did it,
I would feel better. So I just like clear everything
and like pray with my mama. What made me also
get off of it, like it was just like different
people that I love was telling me, like my mama
stayed telling me like, you ain't acting like my son.
You got like an attitude when I'm talking to you
(54:39):
or like, and it.
Speaker 2 (54:40):
Touches me and makes people act real angry and have
like a quick attitude.
Speaker 3 (54:46):
You be aggravated and be like and then not just
go to sleep, but like pass out.
Speaker 1 (54:50):
Yeah, then my skin got clear. Everything. I just turned
to like, look at me. You know what I'm saying,
Like everything, everything look good?
Speaker 8 (55:01):
All right?
Speaker 2 (55:02):
Offset is here and normally ask ye would be next,
but of course we got to do some more of
an offset because he's in the hot seat.
Speaker 3 (55:08):
It's way up at the Angela Ye. More offset when
we come back.
Speaker 7 (55:13):
Yeah, she back at it. The way up with Angela
Yee is on.
Speaker 1 (55:18):
What's up?
Speaker 2 (55:19):
Is way up at the Angela Yee. I'm Angela Yee
and offset is here. I gotta ask you this since
since you said we can have a little fun with
this all right? What about sex on lean?
Speaker 1 (55:28):
Was that did it again?
Speaker 7 (55:29):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (55:29):
I don't know about the rest of these guys, but see,
I have sex to please my woman. I don't have
sex for me. A lot of guys be tripping, they
be having sex for themselves. Like to be honest, we're
gonna talk about sets, like when I have sex with
my wife, I'm trying she's going to That's my mission
is for her to come in like, not for me
to like I'll be trying to. I'm want to teach
the game man players you know down that don't really
(55:52):
make you the pro like you like you think like
a lot of like a lot of us thinking being
the outfits, like beating it down da da d. You
gotta do enjoyable things to your man. They make her
feel like this is an out of body experience like
me and my woman is like about it the soul
time because I know what to do when to do it.
I was on lean but still handling my business. I
never had no issue with that wife. You know, Okay,
(56:14):
she gonna.
Speaker 3 (56:14):
Shiver because I've heard about the I've heard what do
they call it lean?
Speaker 1 (56:17):
I don't even know, but I've heard about that, so
I don't know. I don't know either.
Speaker 3 (56:22):
We have no problems in that area.
Speaker 2 (56:24):
What about when you guys are arguing, because sometimes people
argue because they still could be physical with each other.
Speaker 3 (56:30):
Are you so intimate with each other when you guys
are in an argument. Or is she like, don't touch me.
Speaker 1 (56:34):
Oh no, she ain't never like don't touch me when
I touched She just you know, you could be mad
at him man, and you be like it's over for you.
You gotta know how to You got to see us
the man. You gotta know when and where to creep in.
You gotta let time go by a little bit. You
gotta be a player about it. You can't be ah
then try to go.
Speaker 8 (56:50):
You gotta less some little time.
Speaker 1 (56:52):
But then you gotta you gotta slide and that. You
gotta know her points like and know what to touch
and what to do.
Speaker 3 (56:58):
So she is on the new album. Is that the
love song for women?
Speaker 1 (57:01):
That's on there? Love song?
Speaker 2 (57:02):
Because I heard you say in a Variety interview you
did say there's a song for women.
Speaker 1 (57:07):
I got a couple song for women. But our song
is for the jealous people. Jealousy, you know, for the
jealousy that's always out there trying to throw a little
dirt on us on what we building in our empire.
We always keep our turn because we fun and like
she gangs gangster, we always want to just have a
good time.
Speaker 2 (57:25):
You know, it's great you have a lot of women
around you as far as working right because even like
your team, I know your A and R is a woman. Yeah,
and then she who's here with us, you have created
director in the building. But I think that's dope that
you have a lot of women that are influential in
your life.
Speaker 1 (57:41):
Because the women have the sauce. So what I'm saying,
without the women, you're gonna be lost. Women making a
lingo right now, women killing us in the route, women
killing like really got advantage. It's like, I grew up
with my grandmother and my mother, so I grew up
with women. So they just be the keys to life.
And so that's why I got me a strong woman,
(58:02):
Like they're the key to life. Like these people will
help you get to different levels that you're gonna get
to just with the support of them, like a woman's support.
It's just different. And a lot those on the album,
A lot on the album. I got Chloy Bailey on
the album. I got some females on the album.
Speaker 2 (58:16):
All right, now, I've set we are recording this interview
in advance. Do not do no stuff between now and
when this interview comes out.
Speaker 6 (58:22):
Oh, I ain't.
Speaker 1 (58:23):
Okay, if you notice, I ain't, I ain't. I came
you the first person I pulled up on.
Speaker 2 (58:27):
No, I appreciate it for real. I want to make sure,
okay that we don't so everything is good at home.
You're making sure, right, Yeah, we're good at home. Okay,
gad that's our show. And I do, like, I really
really do like Cardi a lot from the beginning of
her career, and you guys as well, and you I
see that there's a lot of hate and y'all talk
about it, you know, all the time, and you're aware
(58:47):
of it. So just make sure you don't fall into it.
That's all because sometimes all that stuff on socialiation too.
Speaker 1 (58:53):
Man, like I up in the past, but don't hold
me to that because like a lot of the time,
like y'all be holding me to that. Don't hold me
to that. Like I love my wife bro like and
to be affected home because at the end of the day,
don't about it. If you was in our shoes, you
wouldn't want nobody just always talking about what your relationship
here like, don't be trying to like tear us down
(59:13):
because at the end of the day, were a strong family.
We know the truth and we're gonna stick through and
then you're gonna look like a fool. Stop throwing me
in bro out and grew a lot respect it like
I done grew a lot. You don't really be seeing
about me, and then it's always bull and I'm not
gonna be the one who always respond because I'm not
trying to. I be feeling like they make you guilty too,
(59:34):
Like when you be responding, that's totally false.
Speaker 2 (59:37):
And they make it a bigger story and it make
it last long, and it lasts long. Yeah, And I
do want to say. The last thing I want to
say is I saw on social media you said I'm
cold hearted and unhealed.
Speaker 1 (59:47):
It's I'm unhealed. I'm being honest, you know what I mean.
I lost my brother, Like I'm not healed. I'm not
good and like this don't help nothing, Like I be
feeling like people don't be like we starve, so people
people be like thinking it's just cool, Like but I'm
a real grown man. I cry every day about this
(01:00:07):
bro like at some point it me up every day
and then it be this type of buy on top
of that be like too much for me, Like I'm
dealing through personally like and people's opinions matter nowadays. You
know what I'm saying, you feel it, it's being said,
and it's like I play cool, I smile for the cameras,
(01:00:28):
I do fashion. We can do all this, but behind
the scenes, like I need my woman to be there
for me for what I'm going through, and then you're
making it harder for me by bringing up bulls or
my old past when I'm really going through some other Yeah,
it's too much. It's just too much.
Speaker 3 (01:00:44):
Are you addressing any of this on the album of course?
Speaker 6 (01:00:47):
Heah, Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:00:48):
I put all my feelings into the music because I
don't really do interviews. I don't do the online that
ain't really my taste.
Speaker 3 (01:00:55):
All right, Well, I appreciate it.
Speaker 2 (01:00:56):
I'm glad that you came up here because I am
very supportive of both of you. So I feel like
I got a lot out of this too, and I
know people who are listening did as well.
Speaker 1 (01:01:04):
Yeah, I love her. So you can stop playing bro
stay out them dms, stop playing in generals my wife.
Speaker 2 (01:01:13):
I will go on your wife, all right, thank you
so much. Just way up with Angela yee off set,
all right? When we come back, you guys, get to
have the last word. If you want to talk about
this interview, if you want to play a bet with Mano,
whatever it is that you want to do, call us up.
Eight hundred and two ninety two fifty one fifty last
word when we come back.
Speaker 1 (01:01:30):
Take up the phone tapping to get your voice heard.
Speaker 7 (01:01:33):
What the word he is? The last word on Way
Up with Angela Yee?
Speaker 2 (01:01:38):
What's up this Way up with Angela Yee. I'm Angela
Yee and I'm here with my friend. Can't miss him
because he's gonna be wearing the same outfit for a week.
Mano is here, and it's okay, It's okay, it's all right.
You're not gonna have seven of the same outfit, right,
You're gonna wear this particular.
Speaker 1 (01:01:51):
I'm gonna have the same outfit, all right, so I
need to I'm gonna wear it.
Speaker 3 (01:01:54):
Mark something on here.
Speaker 1 (01:01:55):
So no, you don't, no, you don't stop fucking. I'm
gonna keep my word. I made a bet and I'm
gonna stand on what it is. Okay, it is what
it is.
Speaker 2 (01:02:05):
How are you feeling? I'm just curious. While you were
watching the fight erro Spence Junior versus.
Speaker 1 (01:02:10):
I was very surprised. Okay, I was surprised because I
was one of the people saying that it was going
to be a close fight, like it was gonna be
hard to call, and a lot of boxing analysts, you know,
a lot of people was like, man, this is you know,
it's almost fifty to fifty. They wasn't sure. But as
time started to go and as I started to look around,
a lot of boxes were saying, crawfit like Canelo. Yep,
(01:02:32):
but it is what it is, and that's how life is.
Speaker 3 (01:02:35):
When did you get nervous that you were gonna lose?
Was it the second round or see the.
Speaker 1 (01:02:39):
First time he got knocked down. It's just a knockdown.
I don't mean you're gonna lose a fight.
Speaker 2 (01:02:43):
It happened early, Yeah, and naturally he's never been knocked
down before, so I'm sure that hurt.
Speaker 1 (01:02:47):
But he could have came back from that. I just
don't think that he had a contingency plan. The plan
that he had, I don't think it was working. He
was supposed to adapt and adjust and figure something else out.
He just kept moving forward. He just kept with the
same punches and three times three times.
Speaker 2 (01:03:04):
Well, you know, It's a blessing for me because I
won the best. I don't know what I would have
to do if I lost.
Speaker 1 (01:03:09):
I'm crazy.
Speaker 3 (01:03:10):
Yeah no, but we didn't.
Speaker 2 (01:03:11):
I told you we didn't have to worry about that.
And today Monday was great. We have Monday may Ovation.
You know, we talked about the fight. But one other
amazing thing that happened is Offset came up here. Offset
doesn't even really do a lot of interviews us, so
it was a blessing for him to come up here
to talk about his new single, Jealousy that he has
with Cardi B.
Speaker 3 (01:03:28):
Discussed his relationship.
Speaker 2 (01:03:30):
He has a problem with all of you haters just
trying to say any random thing indeed online and I
know that can't be easy. And speaking of relationship, shout
out to my girl Moony Love. She got engaged. So
I saw that her man proposed to her. Erac the
bells on stage. Yes, love you, Mony Love, and congratulations
all right, and of course you guys get the last word.
Eight hundred and two nine two fifty one fifty let's
(01:03:52):
go well yours.
Speaker 6 (01:03:55):
I just wanted to shout may no ol man like
one of the realist ones, and I love all his music.
You know, I love everything that he do. You know
he'd be coming out to brig City and all of that.
You know what I'm saying, like Naya is that one man.
He's real deal and I definitely respect everything he do.
(01:04:16):
I want to shine a light on my wife, Charise.
I recently just had a heart procedure done and she
was with me one hundred percent of the way making
sure I'm on the right track.
Speaker 1 (01:04:25):
And I want to let her know that I love.
Speaker 7 (01:04:27):
Her and you know, everything's gonna be okay, and you know.
Speaker 1 (01:04:30):
Just shout out to everyone who's dealing with the heart
deceives and whatnot.
Speaker 6 (01:04:33):
You know, just keep on persever We'll get through it together.
Speaker 7 (01:04:36):
Going way out with Angela Yee
