Mayno's in the building. Yes, I saw a Mano in
a lobby when I was walking in and in our building.
At iHeart, we actually are doing a tasting in the
lobby from my coffee. Coffee uplifts people and also my
tea because I also have a tea brand with my coffee.
Speaker 3 (00:34):
So if we want to.
Speaker 2 (00:35):
Get some tea and Mayo could try coffee for the
first time, we can go downstairs in the lobby. But
shout out to Keana, who manages this building, black woman,
she made that happen. So it was actually her idea,
like let's do something in the building where people could
taste your coffee and tea and so even if you're
walking past the building, just come get some coffee. But yeah,
so that's happening downstairs on a wealth Wednesday. As we
(00:57):
always try to talk about financial empowerment and onto.
Speaker 3 (01:00):
Newish ship made no one day you're gonna have some coffee.
Speaker 4 (01:03):
We gotta film it though, is what I'm saying. We
gotta make it an event.
Speaker 3 (01:07):
Okay, I'm down for that.
Speaker 2 (01:09):
And I told me know, as a person who's never
had coffee before, I'm gonna start you off with a
mocha because it tastes kind of like a hot chocolate,
and I think that you can handle that, and then
we'll kind of get you into it. If I don't
like it, you will do you like hot chocolate, you
like it, we'll make sure.
Speaker 3 (01:25):
We'll make sure, we'll make sure.
Speaker 2 (01:27):
But anyway, let's start the show off with some positivity
and let's shine a light. Just call us up, let
us know if it's somebody you saw in the news,
somebody you know personally, maybe somebody that you work with,
whoever it is that you want to spread some love

She is in Detroit and she actually has an event
that's going to be happening this weekend at the Godfrey.
It's called Power Keys two point zero and it's basically
a networking event about the music business, film business, about influencers, branding, sports, podcasting, radio,
mental health wellness. And she's been doing this work for
quite some time. But she's also part of the Detroit
(02:38):
Entertainment Commission and so definitely doing big things. She manages
the ice wear Vezo too, Okay, so you probably know her, yes,
Chanel Dominique, And when I first met her, she was
working with Cash Doll and then now she's been doing
a lot of big things, also working with Mary Sheffield,
who is a president of the City Council. So shout
(02:58):

show with The Joe this weekend, so it's like they're

So many residencies will discuss it's way up at Angela

Speaker 1 (04:40):
This say in the rooms from industry shade to all

Speaker 2 (04:48):
It's way up at Angela yee. I'm Angela yee and
mainos in the building man obay. And let's talk about
some of these Vegas residencies. I feel like this is
really the place to be. It's really fun. Lunelle was
up here recently and she's been doing her residency in Vegas.
We all see how amazing it's been for us share yes,
and so now Wu Tang has announced their first ever
(05:11):
Las Vegas residency for next year, so you'll be able
to see them February ninth to the tenth. Also, March
twenty second is twenty third, and who knows, I'm sure
they're going to extend it.
Speaker 3 (05:20):
Don't forget.
Speaker 2 (05:21):
New Editions residency also starts February twenty eighth, which is
going to be exciting. And Jodasy is also going to
have a Vegas residency next year that starts on March fifteenth.
Speaker 3 (05:31):
I feel like I want.
Speaker 4 (05:32):
To go crazy.
Speaker 2 (05:34):

Speaker 4 (05:49):
This is what I'm saying.
Speaker 2 (05:51):
I think to see Jodasy and New Edition. Now you
go with the fellas to go see Wu Tang, But well,
my uncle on them, yeah.
Speaker 3 (05:57):
Uncle in them. I listen. I used to work for
Wu Tang, so you know I'm gonna be right there
front and center. All right.
Speaker 2 (06:02):
Now, Oprah was on Sherry and I love Sherry Shepherd's show,
and so she sat down with her and was basically
talking about her own legacy. And then she did something
that I thought was amazing and well deserved for Sherry Shepherd.
Speaker 8 (06:17):
What Liah said to me that day in her kitchen,
she said, it's every audience member whoever came, wherever they
came from, and they sat in that audience and they
had an experience, and they went home and they decided
I'm gonna do better.
Speaker 1 (06:29):
It's every life you touched. So it's not one thing.
Speaker 8 (06:31):
So for me to be able to see you on
your own show with your name on it, it is
for passing on.
Speaker 9 (06:39):
So you're officially passing up a time passing them.
Speaker 2 (06:42):
Bet, that's huge to have Oprah say, I'm passing you
to baton right to Sherry Shepherd, shout out to you, Sherry.
Speaker 4 (06:50):
Chevy Sheppard been to Chelsea House a couple of times. Yeah, absolutely,
shout out to Chevy Shepherd. And she mentioned it on show.
Speaker 3 (06:57):
Ah, that's sweet. I love that and she's so funny
to me.
Speaker 2 (07:01):
Now, in addition to this, Sherry of course asked her
about that viral video when Oprah was just on Drew
Barrymore Show and Drew Barrymore was like stroking her arm
and people were like, what is.
Speaker 3 (07:11):
Going on here?
Speaker 2 (07:12):
Boundaries? You're in her personal space. People had issues with that,
but here's what Oprah said.
Speaker 10 (07:17):
Were you uncomfortable at any point?
Speaker 11 (07:18):
Not a bit.
Speaker 8 (07:19):
I was actually comforted by the stroking of Really, we
went home until seven you got to stroke my arm?
Speaker 3 (07:25):
I thought it was okay. That was on TMZ that
they asked her at.
Speaker 2 (07:31):
Also, Oprah has revealed that the Color Purple producers wanted
Beyonce Arihanna for the new musical remake Did you know that?
Speaker 3 (07:38):
Can you imagine?
Speaker 4 (07:39):
So it's a musical.
Speaker 2 (07:41):
Yeah, it's a musical, The Color Purple, and it's going
to be in theaters December twenty fifth the Stars Fantasia.
But I know Fantasia is going to do an amazing
job her, isn't it? Danielle Brooks, Taraji p Henson, Holly Bailey.
So Steven Spielberg is back as a producer along with
Alice Walker, Quincy Jones and a whole lot.
Speaker 4 (07:57):
It looks good though.
Speaker 3 (07:58):
Yeah, I love the Color Oh you did?
Speaker 4 (08:01):
Yeah? I read the book. The book is crazy and
you've seen the movie, yeah, but the book is really
it is.
Speaker 3 (08:06):
Amazing, all right.
Speaker 2 (08:08):
And Taylor Riks recently was on with Complex Sports and
she was talking about the fact that, you know, she's
very good looking. Guys always talk about that, and so
people try to act like athletes say outland is things
on her interviews, and it's because of how she quote looks.
Speaker 3 (08:25):
But here's what she had to say.
Speaker 11 (08:26):
People confuse just the fact that I can ask a
good question with the way that I look, and I
think that without even realizing it, it can be a
bit diminishing to the work that I put in for
the interview. This happens on men's podcasts all the time
that athletes come on there and say something wild, but
nobody says it it's because of the man.
Speaker 3 (08:47):
They say, oh, that was a good conversation. That's the fact.
Speaker 2 (08:50):
I think. In general, also, women just tend to get
dimissed about questions that they ask. Like if I asked
a question here, but somebody else asked the same question
somewhere else, they'd be like, she's I don't know why
she's doing that, But then somewhere else it's like that
was a great question, you know, so I get it.
Speaker 3 (09:05):
It's harder.
Speaker 2 (09:05):
And then with Taylor the way she looks, people always
have things to say, and they also act like you
only get certain things because but she is really somebody
who grew up, you know, as a child of athletes,
family members who are professional athletes. She grew up loving this,
all right, and that is your Yet when we come back,
we have about last night where we discussed what we
did last night, and I know you were out saving
(09:27):
the city, Mayo.
Speaker 3 (09:28):
You have to it's way up. Yeah last night.
Speaker 1 (09:31):
So about last night last night, last night I went down.
Speaker 3 (09:37):
It's way up.
Speaker 2 (09:37):
But Angela yee, Angela yee. And my guy Mayo is
in the building. Yeah, may know, what did you do
last night? Because you know what, you got a big
day coming up on Friday.
Speaker 4 (09:45):
Yeah, man got that killed before dropping on Friday, I
didn't do a lot. I didn't do a lot of
stop by slate to see my man Nick storm shout
out the next storm and he was having a screen
for the Chris Rock and.
Speaker 2 (09:57):
Kevin Hart headline is only shout out to Rashidi Hart
his interviews up right now on the way yep.
Speaker 4 (10:01):
But yeah, I actually went home and watched that.
Speaker 3 (10:03):
Okay, it was good, right, it's a documentary.
Speaker 2 (10:06):
We learned a lot about how they came up and
even their connection to each other, other comedians just talking
about you know who. Even with Kevin her I didn't
realize he had a show that was about to come out.
He had a whole premier part like launch party, and
then it got canceled before it even started.
Speaker 4 (10:21):
Yeah, yeah, that has never never see the bumps and
bruises on the journey. We only see the results.
Speaker 2 (10:26):
Right, Well, that's on Netflix, so if you guys want
to check that out.
Speaker 3 (10:29):
Headliners Only.
Speaker 2 (10:31):
Last night, I was actually filming lip Service and this
is probably our longest ever lip service besides La maybe
because while a too short yeah too short, had a
long interview too. But Malcolm May's and London Brown were
on from Raising Canaan and so you'll get to hear
that next week. But when I tell you they had
a lot to say. Malcolm ma said after he did
(10:52):
Lip Service last year, he was like, I'm not doing
any more podcast because he got he said so.
Speaker 3 (10:57):
Much on there. Ye had family hitting them up, all
kinds of things.
Speaker 2 (11:01):
But he came back on and said a lot more
things too, and London Brown Malcolm mas was like, this
is the and there Uncle Marvin and Uncle Lou. I'm
raising Canaan, right. Yeah, So it's a very interesting conversation.
And you know that show is all about sex and relationships.
And the episode that's out right now, we filmed that
(11:22):
a couple of weeks ago. That's what partisan Fontaine talking
about his uh sex tape project that's out right now.
It came out yesterday, So just make sure you guys
tune into that because those are really fun conversations and
you know where we can get a lot of those
topics from this next segment that I know you love.
Speaker 3 (11:39):
Tell us a secret, don't keep one.
Speaker 4 (11:41):
Oh well, don't keep it, call up and let us know.
Speaker 2 (11:45):
All right, So what we want you to do right
now as we are getting ready for ko Before to
drop on Friday, all right, we want you to call
us up right now because Mano loves when y'all do
tell us a secret, and everybody hates when you're not
here for this set. The first thing I see in
the comments is where was Mano when this was happening?
Speaker 3 (12:05):
Well, he's here right now.
Speaker 2 (12:06):
And I know some of you really enjoy being judged,
all right, so call us up even though we're not
gonna judge. Eight hundred two ninety two fifty one to fifty,
you remain anonymous.
Speaker 3 (12:15):
Tell us a secret. It's way up with Angela.
Speaker 1 (12:17):
Ye, this is a judgment.
Speaker 4 (12:19):
Freeze on.
Speaker 1 (12:20):
Tell us a secret.
Speaker 3 (12:22):
What's up?
Speaker 2 (12:22):
Its way up at Angela Yee. I'm Angela Yee and
my guy Maino is here. May I know you got
a ton of secrets, and every day we open up
that vault.
Speaker 4 (12:31):
A little bit more and I'll tell you my secrets, right.
Speaker 2 (12:34):
Yeah, off air, Yeah, but never we'll never put up trust.
Yeah you got it, you got it. You know how
many secrets I have?
Speaker 3 (12:40):
Did I hold in the vault for people? Yeah? I
hold it there and there. So I appreciate that.
Speaker 2 (12:45):
And that's why we love you, guys, because you know,
it's love when you can call up and tell us
a secret, but no judgment.
Speaker 3 (12:51):
Okay, and it's anonymous.
Speaker 2 (12:53):
Eight hundred two ninety two fifty one fifty Hello, anonymous caller,

Right, but you know how that's gonna make your son
feel when he found out his friend is slamming his
mother really horrible, really bad.
Speaker 3 (13:18):
Your son's best friend is gonna.
Speaker 4 (13:19):
Be his stepfather, right, his stepfather is gonna be his
best friend. And you think it's funny.
Speaker 5 (13:24):
Huh?
Speaker 2 (13:26):
Tell me how it even happened though, from the beginning,
Like how did this even go down?
Speaker 12 (13:30):
Now? Ran in form a couple of times.
Speaker 5 (13:32):
For a couple of times, and then I invite him over.
Speaker 10 (13:35):
And if we don't want from.
Speaker 3 (13:36):

Speaker 6 (13:44):

Speaker 4 (13:45):
And his best friend is a sucker for knocking off
his friend's mother, Like that's like, how could you knock
your friend mother?
Speaker 6 (13:51):

Speaker 4 (14:41):
It's different. And the friend is running around knocking his
best friend mother off.
Speaker 3 (14:45):
Not one of your friend's mons.

Speaker 2 (19:08):
Court and trial, Jonathan Major's trial reveals that he called
nine to one one to report an alleged suicide attempt
by his assault accuser. So according to reports, it was
they're saying that he made the initial call to authorities.
Speaker 3 (19:23):
And now he is revealed to.
Speaker 2 (19:24):
Have reported what was described at the time as an
overdose and suicide attempt to and this is against Yeah.
Speaker 4 (19:30):
So he had the cocaine.
Speaker 3 (19:32):
No, I don't think it was cocaine.
Speaker 2 (19:34):
Now, one officer testified they did not see evidence at
the scene of an overdose or attempted suicide. They also
viewed bodycam footage of the day in question, and another
cop said the initial call was that the female had
overdose and tried to come in suicide, but there was
no evidence. He said, when I turned to look at
the nights in, I noticed there was a small amount
of blood on the comforter. So this trial, you know,
(19:55):
it began at the top of last week and he
could face up to a year behind bars if he
is victed as charged. Now let's get into some good things.
Let's talk about Scarlet. She was on La Leakers shout
out to just Incredible and here is her freestyle over
a lemon pepper.
Speaker 9 (20:09):
Mahomie dad with the gun in his head. First mistake
he made was put his trust.
Speaker 3 (20:13):
In his mans.
Speaker 4 (20:14):
He thought they would slow for they will.
Speaker 9 (20:16):
Ride for push, came to shop, they switch sides on them.
Speaker 1 (20:19):
Don't trust with your head.
Speaker 9 (20:20):
Don't even trust with your seat because we'll look like
a blessing. Be a snake underneath. Trust and they's saying
that they love you till they get in between her.
Now you trapped in your bed, leaving tears on your sleeps.
Come on so pleasant doing it, so dodgeless.
Speaker 3 (20:33):
All right.
Speaker 2 (20:33):
Shout out to our girl Scarlet. I love to see
her elevation all the time. So we love you Scarlet.
Speaker 3 (20:39):
All right. And when we come back, we have under
the radar. That was your yeet.
Speaker 2 (20:43):
And let's talk about this fifteen fifteen, one hundred percent
increase in calls. And this is what poison centers are seeing.
Will tell you what drug people are accidentally overdosing on.
Speaker 3 (20:55):
All right, under the radars. Next, it's way up with
the Angelague.
Speaker 1 (21:00):
News that relates to you. These stories are flying under
the radar.
Speaker 3 (21:04):
I put that on.
Speaker 2 (21:05):
My mama is way up at Angela. Yee, I'm here,
maynos here.
Speaker 4 (21:10):
Just boiled on time the day.
Speaker 3 (21:11):
I know, that's right. So he our board up. He
just got back from vacation.
Speaker 4 (21:16):
Yeah he was.
Speaker 3 (21:17):
He's in like a pool he was in. Yeah, you
know that's chess out living life. All right. Well, let's
get into some under the radar.
Speaker 2 (21:25):
What happens when there's a lottery ticket that expires. Well,
a forty four million dollar lotto ticket in Florida expired.
Speaker 4 (21:32):
Give me my money, man, I don't want him.
Speaker 3 (21:33):
That was your ticket.
Speaker 4 (21:34):
Yeah, give me my money. I don't want here. Give
me the money.
Speaker 3 (21:39):
What happens to that money?
Speaker 2 (21:40):
The prize winnings actually now go to a fund to
support Florida public education, and a twenty percent cut goes
back into the prize pool. But wherever they bought the ticket,
that gas station, it's a Sonoco is still going to
get their little percentage that they get.
Speaker 4 (21:57):
So the person don't get nothing.
Speaker 3 (21:58):
They don't. They never came in.
Speaker 4 (21:59):
Clan nah run me my coins, man, No, nah, run
me my money money to not claim forty four million dollars.
It could have been locked up or something. Didn't know
what was going on.
Speaker 2 (22:10):
Imagine what if it's he just now finds out but
it's expired already. You think they'll make an exception of it, like, sorry,
it expired coins all right now. Poison center controls across
the United States say they are seeing an increase in
calls related to an injected medication overdose. That medication is
used for diabetes and weight loss. And you know we've
been talking about this o zepic, right and.
Speaker 3 (22:33):
That's in Magovi.
Speaker 2 (22:34):
So people apparently are accidentally taking too much, maybe double
doses of this and so a fifteen percent increase in
calls because of that, that's people got to be careful,
you know. And also you can't just get that from anywhere.
I know, people will go online or try to get
it because it's been harder to get. But the drugs
(22:55):
are sold in pre filled pens and some of them
come with safeguard, so patients have to take the correct
dose and then they have to take the click the
dial to the correct dose and then inject it, so
it's harder to make mistakes. So ordinarily people start at
a lower dose and then work up over time to
the therapeutic amounts so that their bodies can adjust. But
you know, sometimes people get confused. There's compounded versions that
(23:18):
come in multidose glass vials and patients when they're drawn
because you inject yourself, and so that's why there's been
a lot of errors.
Speaker 3 (23:25):
So people have to be careful.
Speaker 13 (23:27):
You know.
Speaker 2 (23:27):
It got very popular for people to start taking these drugs.
You see all of the crazy weight loss situations, and
Tesla is recalling nearly all two million of its vehicles
on the road two yes, nearly all of them to
limit the use of the autopilot feature. So there's a
recall because there's been about a thousand crashes in which
that feature was engaged. So if you have a Tesla,
(23:50):
do not use that autopilot. They're doing a recall right now.
All right, well that is you're under the radar. And
you know we got the way yet mixed coming at
the top of the hour, and today's a Wednesday is
Wealth Wednesday, and Mano and I have some conversation for
you guys today based on that because we want to
help make sure you are always way up.
Speaker 3 (24:07):
It's way up at Angela.
Speaker 1 (24:08):
Yee yore, she's about to blow the lid ab off this,
but let's get it. Angela's filling that yee te Come
and get the tea.
Speaker 3 (24:16):
Hey, Mano, it's way up with Angela. Yee, I'm Angela.
Speaker 2 (24:18):
Ye manos here no man no, man no, And let's
get into some yet now.
Speaker 3 (24:24):
Tracy Morgan was.
Speaker 2 (24:26):
On the Connected Dots podcast and he talked about his
upcoming appearance on Finding Your Roots, that's a genealogy show.
He had a DNA test that revealed that he and
nas Yeah actually said he told you that before they.
Speaker 4 (24:39):
Related, right, he told me like maybe right after he
did it?
Speaker 3 (24:42):
All right, Well, here's what happened.
Speaker 1 (24:44):
Me and I his third cousins on my mind.
Speaker 4 (24:47):
Me but me Esco was always.
Speaker 13 (24:49):
Tight before that. But then when I found out on
the West Side Highway after I did the show, called
him up and I said, your Esco.
Speaker 4 (24:55):
He said, what up?
Speaker 13 (24:56):
Track, I said, guess what? So what I just I
just didn't find my roots? You related? He started crying.
I started crying, and I said to him, if you
ever need me, I'm there, because he said, because if
you ever need me, I'm there.
Speaker 4 (25:09):
I think we are.
Speaker 2 (25:12):
Yeah, I think you look at my cousin like my cousins.
Speaker 3 (25:18):
I kind of want to do that. I've never done it,
like to find to see who I'm related to.
Speaker 2 (25:23):
I know some people who found out who they weren't
related to they thought they were really I definitely do yes.
Oh man, So there's always that that chance that that
could happen.
Speaker 3 (25:33):
I'm pretty sure my dad's my dad.
Speaker 4 (25:35):
My luck, I'm gonna find I'm related to somebody I
don't like.
Speaker 3 (25:39):
Then you gotta be cool.
Speaker 2 (25:40):
You're related to some people though, now, right, like some
famous people, some artists.
Speaker 3 (25:45):
No, oh Fresher, yeah, your cousin Fresher.
Speaker 2 (25:50):
Yeah, all right, Tory lanees this came from all hip
hop dot com. Uh. But Tory Lanez's driver is now
putting out a statement and there's new court documents that
are online and the paperwork include statements from ja Quan Smith.
He says he never saw Tory Lane holding the gun,
but he did see Megan Stallion's ex friend Kelsey Harris
(26:12):
with it. And in the documents he says, mister Peterson,
that's Tory Lanes ran from behind Miss Pete and myself
that's Meganis Stallion toward Miss Harris. And he said mister
Peterson and Miss Harris began struggling, and mister Peterson tried
to unarm Miss Harris. I was still pulling Miss Pete
and did not see who shot the weapon. I was
lucky I was not harmed. In my opinion, Miss Pete
(26:32):
was also fortunate. He said he wanted to present the
evidence in court but wasn't able to because the district
attorney wasn't ready to cross examine him. So this is
a new development that's happening, and the paperwork is available online,
so we shall continue to update you on what's going on.
And as far as meganist Stallion she has a new
deal with Warner Music Group, and she's also still remaining
(26:54):
independent and so Billboard has reported that she's done a
partnership where they will distribute her music, but she will
still maintain ownership. So you know all kinds of ways
to structure deals. Now, yes, indeed, all right. Nicki Minaj
in the meantime, has put out her highly anticipated collab
with Monica and Kisha Koh.
Speaker 3 (27:14):
She's been teasing this for a while.
Speaker 2 (27:15):
We got to see them all together singing and doing
things like that. Well, now I saw people waiting last night.
She was like, it's going to be up in a
couple of hours. So here is some of that song.
Speaker 11 (27:27):
Diamond want to bring finger blinging on my hands and
people and don't mandle with the strand the worst struggle.
Speaker 3 (27:33):
All the addictions were men. And that song is called
love Me Enough.
Speaker 2 (27:37):
And by the way, if you're a barb, you can
also get a limited edition of her album for five dollars,
but you have to buy it directly from her website.
And let me tell you something, the Barbs are quite
a strong army.
Speaker 3 (27:51):
It's quite a strong army.
Speaker 2 (27:52):
I saw she did a sit down with Joe Button
also she did, Yeah, she did. All right, Well that
is your YEATI and when we come back we have
asked ye, now you don't. I'm sitting here with my
award winning advice award winning yes, and I love the
fact that you have evolved from telling everybody to have
a threesome in your advice to actually say it to everyone.
Speaker 4 (28:13):
Well, that was never my only advice.
Speaker 3 (28:16):
It was it'd be like, I don't know if I'm
my job, and you'd be like, have a three zome.
Speaker 4 (28:19):
Sometimes it was a foursome, but I mean.
Speaker 3 (28:22):
Anyways.
Speaker 2 (28:23):
Eight hundred two ninety two fifty one fifty is the
number Carl us up on this Wealth Wednesday. If you
need some advice, we are here to help you.
Speaker 3 (28:31):
It's way up. But yee, ask ye is next?
Speaker 1 (28:33):
Are going? Everybody since whether it's relationship for career advice,
Angela's dropping facts, you should know. This is ask ye
what's up?
Speaker 3 (28:42):
As way up with Angela?
Speaker 2 (28:43):
Ye, I'm Angela yee and Mayo, the award winning advice
giver is here with me today and it's time for
ask you any question that you have. We are here
to help eight hundred two nine two fifty one fifty
this person, Mano wants to remain anonymous.
Speaker 3 (28:57):
Hey, what's what is your question today?
Speaker 6 (28:59):
Sir?
Speaker 12 (29:00):
Me and my home well kind of their best friends
for a long time, we started a bus together. Lately
you've been dealing with these fls. One is, in particular,
she bothered with me. The other one was supposedly bother
with him, but now she's starting to see like makes
the blimmitos. She's doing videos, she giving me the side
when he's not paying attention, she's touching on me and
(29:21):
stuff like that. And I'm not ready to go ahead
and push that.
Speaker 4 (29:24):
But now, why would you go ahead and do that?
If that's your dog? Do he got feelings for her?
Do he like her? You gotta you gotta put your
relationship with your dog first, bro, because at the end
of the day, females gonna come and go.
Speaker 2 (29:36):
And y'all have a business together too. That's not just
your friend, that's your business partner.
Speaker 12 (29:40):
I try not to let the females get in between us.
But he is pressure, she pressure, she pressed.
Speaker 2 (29:46):
Okay, So what is what is his relationship? Is that
his girl not either? So who is she to him?
Speaker 12 (29:53):
Then he's got a crush on him?
Speaker 3 (29:55):
Okay?
Speaker 2 (29:56):
Have they had sex? Have they like what's the day? Oh,
they've never done it?
Speaker 4 (30:00):
Right, But the problem with that is that you should
just what you should do is talk to him about
it and say, look, shorty acting like she want to she
want to run with me or whatever, like you know
what I'm saying, Like you should you should have a
conversation with her, because you don't really know how he
feel about her. He might really like her, he might
really want to do something with her so.
Speaker 2 (30:19):
Or he might not and he might be do that. Yeah,
you got this, but there's no way to know. If
that's your best friend, you should be able to talk
to him about it.
Speaker 4 (30:28):
Yeah, don't sneak and do it, man, Look look, don't
don't don't be weak though, don't have to do it anyway. Like, yeah,
like she want a shot at the title. Cool, But
at the end of the day, your relationship with your
brother should be at the forefront.
Speaker 2 (30:44):
Here's the thing, right, The only risky part is he
might go to his friend and if his family likes it,
he's always going to know that you want his girl.
Speaker 12 (30:52):
I don't want to know. I'm not personal about it.
It's just she's starting to give me but.
Speaker 2 (30:57):
You sound you're giving press though, And I will say this,
I wouldn't trust a woman who is dating my friend
but giving me vibes.
Speaker 4 (31:04):
That's what I'm saying, like she's full of streets.
Speaker 3 (31:08):
I don't know about it.
Speaker 2 (31:09):
I mean, that's not he said his boy hasn't smashed
her or nothing yet. But I just think tread very
carefully here, and the best thing that you could do
is tell your boy, look, she giving me the vibes.
I just want to figure out what's your relationship. You
know it's nothing right now, but I just want to
before anything could potentially happen.
Speaker 3 (31:27):
I want to make sure we good, we cool what
and talk about it. I move out with that, all right, Well,
good luck. I appreciate that I get the feeling though
he don't care.
Speaker 2 (31:39):
She's precious, okay, all right, Well that is your ask
ye eight hundred two ninety two fifty one fifty. You
can always leave a message in case you couldn't get through.
And when we come back on this wealth Wednesday, you
know it is the holidays, and I know I'm.
Speaker 3 (31:52):
Cash light right now.
Speaker 2 (31:53):
I got a lot of things going on, so we're
trying to think of tips to save money for the holidays,
but still get people.
Speaker 3 (32:00):
Really creative presence.
Speaker 2 (32:02):
So it's not about the amount of money that you spend,
it's about the thought that goes into it. So we
want to get some tips from you guys on how
you're shopping for the holidays, and we'll give you ours.
All right, it's way up with Angela Yee eight hundred
two ninety two fifty one fifty call us up.
Speaker 4 (32:16):
I had a dream of wealthy, and I don't mind sharing.
Speaker 1 (32:19):
My wealth dogs getting you straight financially, mentally and physically.
This is wealth Wednesday on Way Up with Angela Ye.
Speaker 3 (32:26):
What's up? It's way up at Angela Yee.
Speaker 2 (32:27):
I'm Angela Gee, and I'm here with my guy Maino
and we're talking about the holidays.
Speaker 3 (32:32):
Can you finish your banana pudding before we.
Speaker 4 (32:33):
Why would you say that? Why would you put my
mines without doubtsa Harry Christmas?
Speaker 3 (32:37):
That's your gift.
Speaker 2 (32:40):
But anyway, we are talking about the holidays, and you
know it is a difficult time. People are spending a
lot of money, but you can still get a great
gift for somebody without breaking the bank, right, And so
I want some suggestions and I'll tell you what I think.
Speaker 3 (32:52):
What do you think, mano?
Speaker 4 (32:53):
Look for dials?
Speaker 2 (32:54):
Okay, that means shopping early, because when you buy gifts
at the last minute, that's when you spend the most.
Speaker 4 (32:59):
Right me be better than me? Wa I wait on.
Speaker 3 (33:03):
The way You're like, I'm on the way there now
Christmas Eve?
Speaker 4 (33:05):
I get that's when I shot.
Speaker 3 (33:06):
Well, my family does a grab bag.
Speaker 2 (33:08):
So I think if you have a group situation where
everybody's exchanging gifts, why not do a grab bag where
you pick a name and then whoever's name you That way,
you only have to buy one gift, and there's also
a limit how much you're supposed to spend. Oh and
so there's a big gift in a little gift. So
the big gift limit is I think like seventy five dollars,
and then the smaller gift limit is fifty dollars. Really yeah,
so you end up spending a total of one hundred
(33:30):
and twenty five dollars.
Speaker 4 (33:31):
I like that. I'm doing a grab bag.
Speaker 2 (33:34):
Yeah, I think that's a good idea. I'm also ordering
things online because that's how you get the best deals.
You can compare everything at once, but you have to
do it in advance and order those items early because
you don't want them to come after the holidays. Also,
you might have some gift cards laying around. You know
how you get gift cards some people, Well, maybe you
can use those to buy other people a present. And
(33:54):
I also feel like group gifts are a good thing.
So if you guys all are, like you know, have
a that you want to chip in and buy something
for is if you can get them a better present
because we all chipped in. I'd rather have one like
amazing gift that I need if somebody has a housewarming
or maybe they had a baby or something really big,
if you guys can all chip in and get one
of those more costly gifts, that can help.
Speaker 3 (34:16):
But that's just some of my tips.
Speaker 2 (34:18):
And if you have some things at home that you
want to sell and get rid of, you can use
that money for gifts. But it's important to budget. Okay,
you don't have to break the bank. Let's plan ahead. Now,
let's see what you guys think, Tradia, what are your tips?
Speaker 8 (34:30):
All?
Speaker 6 (34:30):
Right? So one of my tips is actually we gifting gifts. Say,
for instance, somebody give me something and I never use it,
I can always package that thing back on up and
regift it back.
Speaker 3 (34:42):
Like, what give me an example of something you might regift.
Speaker 6 (34:45):
Listen, I was gifted a coffee maker before, but I
already have a coffee maker.
Speaker 3 (34:49):
Shout out to Dolor, like, you know.
Speaker 6 (34:51):
What, I'm a new one too. I was like, I'm
gonna save.
Speaker 2 (34:54):
This and I like that, and you know what, you're
sell a great gift. It doesn't matter if it was
something you spent money on or it's still a good gift.
Speaker 3 (35:02):
I'd be happy with that. All right, Well, thank you,
I appreciate. How are you, Adelie? I love you and
your show. Thank you, Telsey.
Speaker 2 (35:09):
It's me and may know we want to hear about
your tips for getting great Christmas gifts but not spending
a lot of money.
Speaker 10 (35:15):
Okay, there's some people need to do. They need to
start working on a hobby right when sumwhere is ending
so they can get to it. Because if you have
at least three fingers on EA channel, you could get
to knitting or crocheting.
Speaker 2 (35:26):
Ooh, knit somebody something. I don't know if I have
time to pick that up. You know what, I think
I might know how to knit, though, you know, if.
Speaker 10 (35:34):
You're on the train or if you have a commute,
watching your favorite TV show, listening to you and Juli.
Speaker 3 (35:40):
We can all find you out some time to do all.
That's a good idea. You know how to knit?
Speaker 4 (35:45):
I'm into a coat?
Speaker 2 (35:47):
Yeah you were, wear it and gifts like that are priceless, exactly.
Speaker 10 (35:52):
It's better than buying someone something like that.
Speaker 3 (35:54):
Right, I'm not gonna lie.
Speaker 2 (35:56):
My aunt made me a pillow and I still use
it to this day, so not a thing. All right, Well,
they thank you, Happy holiday you too.
Speaker 3 (36:04):
We are such thoughtful listeners.
Speaker 4 (36:06):
Yeah that was really nice.
Speaker 3 (36:08):
All right.
Speaker 2 (36:08):
Well, you guys, we don't mind hearing your tips. We
want to hear them, so you can always call us up.
Eight hundred two nine fifty fifty is a number if
you want to leave a message.
Speaker 3 (36:16):
And when we come back. Breaking news.
Speaker 2 (36:18):
Meganistallion is responding to partisan Fontaine. You know we put
out his sex tape yesterday. He did a lot of interviews.
Of course, everybody's asking about their breakup. But we'll tell
you how she responded. Its way up. She's like the
talk like they Angelie Jean, like they Angelie Jee Man.
Speaker 1 (36:35):
She's spilling it all. This is yet way up?
Speaker 2 (36:40):
What's Up's way up? But Angela Yee, I'm Angela Yee
and Mano is here.
Speaker 4 (36:44):
Huh.
Speaker 3 (36:44):
This is like, uh, I know we're gonna have different
views on this. But MEGANE.
Speaker 2 (36:48):
Stallion has responded to Partisan Fontein. He has sex tape
out right now. And you know he did put out
the Person, which was a song addressing MegaNet Stallion, and
that was in response to this lyric on Cobra.
Speaker 1 (37:03):
In his Sleeping Lord give me a Break. I don't
know how.
Speaker 2 (37:07):
Much all right, Well, Partisan Fontaine feels like she was
taking aim at him. And when he did lip service,
I did ask him what a lot of people were saying. Well,
she didn't even say your name. Here's what he said
about that. But she also didn't say your name.
Speaker 4 (37:21):
So why do people say that?
Speaker 3 (37:23):
Sometimes?
Speaker 2 (37:23):
You know, it's music, so you could be writing about
something and people think it's about them. And granted, putting
that in a song, she knows that people are going
to think it's about you.
Speaker 3 (37:31):
So I get it. But you're saying that never happened.
Speaker 4 (37:34):
I'm saying it in transpot like you pulled up in
such and such.
Speaker 3 (37:38):
So something transpirted, but not absolutely.
Speaker 4 (37:41):
And after I thought this is this is a done deal.
Speaker 1 (37:44):
We're not together.
Speaker 13 (37:45):
You are doing you know your things clearly, and that's
what we're doing.
Speaker 3 (37:49):
All right.
Speaker 2 (37:49):
Well, I didn't think Meganistallion would respond to any of this,
but I think seeing that he's done a bunch of interviews,
she did have something to say. And here is MEGANI
Stallion's respond to partisan Fintane doing interviews talking about their relationship,
getting things off his chest and even the songs that
he put out.
Speaker 3 (38:07):
Here is what she said.
Speaker 9 (38:08):
If this man is saying I didn't cheat on her,
I didn't do that, well, why you responding to me?
Speaker 1 (38:13):
Do you know how many y'all claim out?
Speaker 4 (38:16):
Why are you answering? Why are you trying to make
that you fit?
Speaker 3 (38:18):
Was it you getting your up in the same spot.
Speaker 4 (38:21):
I was sleeping. If you say it wasn't, you want
to handle you this in me?
Speaker 1 (38:24):
Like, what the heck is going on?
Speaker 4 (38:26):
Why are you talking to me?
Speaker 14 (38:27):
I wasn't.
Speaker 3 (38:27):
If you said I wasn't talking to you, I wasn't
talking to you.
Speaker 1 (38:30):
You just wanted to.
Speaker 3 (38:31):
Find a reason to bash me.
Speaker 1 (38:33):
It seems very strategic.
Speaker 3 (38:35):
All right, So what are your thoughts?
Speaker 2 (38:36):
I do feel like it is true people have linked
her to a whole lot of people, and maybe she
wasn't talking about him.
Speaker 4 (38:42):
No, I think she was talking about him. But I
don't think that when he said I don't think he
really dissed her. I think that he was letting off
a lot of his point of view. I felt like
he was he was crying out, so to speak. What
I get from that is that he really really loved her,
and I guess he felt hurt by some of the
things that she did in the relationship. I don't feel
(39:04):
like he was standing on her neck though. I don't
feel like he was like really putting it down.
Speaker 3 (39:08):
It wasn't like an ether, Nah, it wasn't like that.
All right.
Speaker 2 (39:11):
Well, I mean, I will say this. People are wondering.
They think he's doing a tour just to talk about
their breakup. But he does have a project that just
came out, and so I know it's tough because this
is his first interviews that he's doing about it, so
of course everyone's asking about it. And of course he
did a whole song about her and their relationship, so
the and the album also addresses a lot of those
(39:32):
things that he went through, and so I do feel
like people also have to put that into perspective because
they're acting like he only is who he is because
of her, But he really was doing music already, and
so I look at it from both points of view.
I know for her, she's been through a lot. It's
been very traumatic, and you know, all of this sometimes
can be difficult, and like he says, she had her
walls up. He discusses that too, and understandably so she
(39:55):
had some issues with you know, family members really close
to her passing, and also the whole court trial situation,
also being vilified by the public. So none of those
things are easy things, and relationships aren't easy. So unfortunately
things have played out very publicly because both of them
have have stated things all right, Well, when we come back,
(40:18):
of course, if you guys want to weigh in, you
can call us up because we do have the last
word eight hundred and two nine two fifty one fifty

Eight hundred two nine two fifty fifty.
Speaker 15 (41:51):
So I've been with my girlfriend for it's about to
be a year or seven months, and I found out
that she started talking to somebody that I introduced it
to at a party you went to. So I went
to her friend's house and was talking to her mom
about her friend and my mom about the situation and need.
The friend and the mom ended up sleeping together. So
now this's been going on for the past six months.
(42:13):
And the friend that I introduced it to, he don't
know that I know them too, been talking.
Speaker 7 (42:17):
She don't even know that I know neigbor, hie and family. Honestly.
I go on Etsy and there's a lot of like
personalized and customized gifts that you can get and so
like it's not as expensive, but it makes it a
little more special being that it's personalized or customize.
Speaker 14 (42:34):
