Speaker 5 (01:58):
I want to find a light on. My daughter promised
this morning. She is seventeen. She's a senior. I had
her at seventeen, so like she's doing everything I did
not do at her age. She is so much more
greater than me. Like, I love this girl so much.
She's my backbone for ris.
Speaker 2 (02:14):
Yes, why did you name her Promise?
Speaker 6 (02:17):
Well, I had her.
Speaker 5 (02:18):
At seventeen and I was a sea mom, so I
made a promise to her that I will always be
there for her and love her unconditionally. So I named
her Promise and I called her Princess Promise. Your name
r O m SS with two s's. That's my baby.
She's so sweet and.
Speaker 1 (02:35):
You know what, that's what we all went right, our
kids to be better than us.

this morning because she's a senior and she's about to
go to school for nursing.
Speaker 1 (02:49):
But you know what, we got a gift for Promise. Okay,
we got some Born in Roma by Valentino perfume from
her beautiful mom.

with the perfume like that's something she's been end too

Speaker 1 (03:52):
Yet what epics Way up at Angela yee? I'm Angela
Yee and Jasmine Brand is here with me in the
d and Detroit. Good morning, Good morning, it's snowing outside. Yes,
we love the snow, but let's get into some ut.
Nicki Minaj yet another milestone. Pink Friday two is number one.
So that's her third number one album. Wow, that's the
(04:12):
most by any female rapper. It's also the highest album
equivalent unit soul for a hip hop and R and
B album by a woman for the whole year, and
the most sold by any female rapper in the twenty
twenty That's beautiful. Talk about breaking records.
Speaker 7 (04:26):
That is beautiful. Her ANTII has a dedicated fan base too.
Speaker 1 (04:30):
Two hundred and twenty eight thousand souls, so congratulations to her.
In addition to that, she also broke a tie with
Foxy Brown, who had two number one albums in her career,
and like we said, this is her third one and
Foxy Brown also congratulated her for that.
Speaker 2 (04:43):
So I love that. Yeah, the unity that they have
with each other.
Speaker 7 (04:47):
They have a cute relationship too.
Speaker 1 (04:48):
Foxy said, I'm sir, only nick could break the King
record third number one dropping twenty twenty four.
Speaker 2 (04:54):
Okay, okay, all right now.
Speaker 1 (04:56):
Elliott Wilson in the meantime has apologized to Nicki Minaji.
You know, Nikki had some things to say about Elliott
and he was very critical of her doing interviews with
Cay Sanatt. Remember he posted this is journalism. Yep, he did,
and he apologized. He said, I was out of blind
and let my competitive nature get the best of me.
Kai curved his own lane in the game, built a
(05:16):
great platform and deserves respect. Salute the streamers and young
creatives get into the paper and pushing our culture forward.
Then he said, go against Nicki, I must have been dense.
The barbs tore me up, and even fifty cent I
like your little rap voice. I feel like he wrote
it as a rap.
Speaker 7 (05:31):
Yeah that's all.
Speaker 5 (05:31):
I like that.
Speaker 7 (05:32):
Yeah, So I like he apologized.
Speaker 1 (05:35):
Nicki also said she's going to be, you know, taking
some stabs at people who have gone against her.
Speaker 7 (05:40):
And I think she's gonna call it some bloggers.
Speaker 2 (05:42):
Two or something.
Speaker 1 (05:42):
I believe, so she wants them to apologize. Now, I'd
rather want we want to hear. Yeah, all right, now,
let's talk about something very serious. So Christian Keys, the
actor from All the Queen's Men, has broken his silence.
Speaker 2 (05:56):
He did like an.
Speaker 1 (05:57):
Hour long lie where he talked about but a powerful
man who's sexually harassed him.
Speaker 2 (06:03):
Here's what he had to say.
Speaker 8 (06:04):
I wasn't working for him in the month and the
year that he showed up to my apartment and offered
me one hundred grand to take my clothes off. I declined,
but being that I wasn't working with him and we
were in my apartment, he had visited my apartment to
offer me a job, I recorded it because I didn't
(06:25):
trust him.
Speaker 1 (06:26):
He also has recordings, by the way, like he's been saying. Yeah,
he said he kept a little digital voice recorded pen
up on him since two thousand and five. Oh wow, Yeah,
And so this isn't about money. He just says he's
going to come forward to the police with his receipts
and recordings of a llegend harassment.
Speaker 2 (06:43):
Here's what he said.
Speaker 8 (06:44):
This person is a predator and he's grown up several
I want to say everything now.
Speaker 4 (06:50):
And I have proof.
Speaker 8 (06:51):
It's not like I'm just making false accusations. I intentionally
let the statute of limitations expire.
Speaker 4 (06:59):
It's not about money.
Speaker 8 (07:01):
I'm going to have to take the receipts, the recordings
down to the police department and let them hear this individual.
Speaker 2 (07:09):
All right, Well, there's a lot more to it.
Speaker 1 (07:11):
If you want to get all the details, you can
definitely go and watch that live.

because you know, we do have a thirty unit building
in midtown Detroit that we're going to go check on today.

Really weird because I've seen this dude and I've.
Speaker 6 (11:19):
Never seen him before in the hood, Like I never

Speaker 5 (11:27):
He asked me to come over.
Speaker 6 (11:28):
And we hanging out, smoking, drinking whatever, and the vibe

while we was hanging out and started texting me. But
he started asking me sexual stuff about scatborn.

All right, Well that was tell us a secret. And
when we come back, we have your yee t. And
these guys are not keeping secrets. Okay, Soldier boy versus
Blue Face? How did it get this way? We'll discuss it. Yet,
it's way up with Angela.
Speaker 4 (12:49):
Ye what sure, she's about to blow the lid off this,
but let's get it. Angela's feeling that ye te come
and get the tea.
Speaker 2 (12:56):
What's up?
Speaker 1 (12:57):
It's way up with Angela yee. I'm Angela Gue and
my girl Jazz Membring is here. Yes, and one day
I'll talk about these technical difficulties. But we are in Detroit.
Let's get into some yet. Who faced versus Soljiah Boy. Now,
their feuds started over who would win in a versus battle,
but things got very nasty after that. They even talked
about each other's you know baby mom. Yeah, I felt
(13:19):
like leave the women out of it. Yeah, they're minded
their business. But Sojia Boy said, what is bluebas gonna do?
Played Datiana five times and then things got very personal.
Here's what happened as they were on Live together, Baby Mama.
Speaker 10 (13:35):
So the fact that you took it there, why'd you
talking about before?
Speaker 11 (13:38):
Should baby Mama?
Speaker 10 (13:40):
The day before your baby showers?
Speaker 12 (13:41):
You sow b Hey there.
Speaker 1 (13:44):
You go admit that now seriously in that versus who's
gonna win Jasmine Oljia Boy, absolutely, we all know that.
All right, Well, well let's see if it's really gonna happen.
But I do feel like let's leave the ladies out
of it.
Speaker 7 (13:56):
Fight each other too.
Speaker 1 (13:57):
Yeah, they were talking about doing a fight. Sojia Boy
was also live making fun of Blue Faces dances and
doing his own dances and doing his own dances. It's
quite comical. Yeah, he knows and he knows how to
go viral and he doesn't mind it.
Speaker 8 (14:10):
Yep.
Speaker 1 (14:10):
All right now, Cameron, as we know, has had this
crush on Nia Lung. He's slid in her DMS. He
posted it for us to all see. He called her stink.
That's what you call somebody, hey, stink. I was giving
you some time to yourself till I reached out. Your
perseverance as a strong black woman through this turbulent time
has been something to behold.
Speaker 2 (14:29):
It goes on from there.
Speaker 1 (14:30):
Well, he did get to finally meet her at Rich
Paul's birthday party, and she actually posted him nice meeting you, Cameron.
Speaker 2 (14:39):
Happy birthday Rich Paul. She was trying to be very clear.
Speaker 1 (14:41):
We're at a party, yes, okay, And so now here's
what Cameron had to say about their meeting.
Speaker 13 (14:47):
I'm not with Nia. I met my Nia Moore. She was.
She was very very cool. I seen I actually Shug
bought it to me and he said, my brother loves
I'm like, oh, Neil Moore was. She's like, so, she says,
you're funny. Y'are hilarious. I say, yo, but you know so,
I said, she said, I said, did you see my
(15:08):
DM was you didn't open and she said, I see it.
I said what she thought about that? I was flying?
Speaker 2 (15:12):
Okay, that's cute.
Speaker 1 (15:14):
Yeah, lock she should maybe no, no, okay, no, absolutely,
I can't even let you finish. All right, Well, that
is your yet and when we come back, we have
under the radar. These are the stories that are flying
under the radar. Uh, They're important So in case you
haven't heard about it, we're going to bring it to
your attention and we're going to talk about d Ei.
Speaker 2 (15:33):
What billionaire feels like we need to just get rid
of it.
Speaker 1 (15:36):
I bet a lot of them feel that way, but
we'll discuss who's very vocal about it.
Speaker 2 (15:39):
Under the radars. Next, its way up news.
Speaker 3 (15:42):
This in the news that relates to you. These stories
are flying under the radar.
Speaker 2 (15:47):
What's up?
Speaker 1 (15:47):
It's way up with Angela. Yee, I'm Angela Yee. And
Jasmine brand is here with me.
Speaker 7 (15:51):
Yes, I'm here Angela, and it's time to do under
the radar.
Speaker 1 (15:53):
I actually saw one of these stories on the Jasmine
brand and commented on it. You did all right, porn
Hub as we the most popular searches of twenty twenty three,
and grandma's and other elderly ladies are definitely in the
mixed searches with the word granny grew by one hundred
and thirty two percent and guil which is a grandma
I'd like to f oh my god, by one hundred and.
Speaker 2 (16:15):
Sixty eight percent.
Speaker 7 (16:17):
Wow for us, A big spike.
Speaker 1 (16:19):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (16:19):
See.
Speaker 1 (16:20):
Also, they had listed ebony as the most viewed category
in the United States.
Speaker 7 (16:25):
Interesting, I'm not surprised.
Speaker 1 (16:27):
See, as you get older, you get more desirable on pornhuse, Yeah,
that's right. And in other numbers, a new study has
reveilt which city has the most roach infestation as usual,
I thought it would be New York. I did too, well,
you know, just like the most rats. I thought that
would be New York, but that was Chicago. Maybe the
rats eat the roaches in New York anyway, Okay, go ahead, Chicago,
(16:48):
rats eat roaches.
Speaker 2 (16:49):
I don't know, but yeah, I alco really no, no, no
for cocka roaches. That was saying rat to Chicago. But
for cocker roaches is Houston? Oh really?
Speaker 13 (16:57):
Yeah?
Speaker 7 (16:57):
Guice.
Speaker 1 (16:58):
They said it's an ideal breeding ground for roaches considering
the human climate and ample water supply.
Speaker 2 (17:04):
So that's a perfect place for roaches to be.
Speaker 7 (17:07):
Roaches like warm.
Speaker 1 (17:07):
Weather and they like that dampness with humidity. Okay, you know.
And oddly enough, New York was not even in the
top ten. San Antonio was number two.
Speaker 2 (17:16):
I could see that.
Speaker 1 (17:17):
It's because we talked about the dampness in Tampa, Phoenix, Vegas, Miami, Atlanta, Birmingham, Dallas,
and Oklahoma City.
Speaker 7 (17:25):
All places are warm if you had to live with
one or the other.
Speaker 2 (17:29):
Roaches, Oh, I'm.
Speaker 1 (17:30):
Gonna have to say roaches. Ratches is too big. They're
like little pets.
Speaker 7 (17:34):
But you said you can see a rat. Roaches, you know,
they're so fast, they're fast you turn.
Speaker 2 (17:38):
On the light.
Speaker 7 (17:39):
Yeah, it's too many of them rats.
Speaker 1 (17:42):
So you're gonna go with rats. I'm gonna go with
our live with rats before our liver roaches. I have
live with roaches before, though, I don't want to have
this conversation, all right. And lastly, and under the radar,
Elon Musk went on his X page and put d e.
Speaker 2 (17:54):
I must die, all right.
Speaker 1 (17:56):
The point was to end discrimination, not replace it with
a different discretion domination that's diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Speaker 2 (18:04):
You know why he's mad.
Speaker 1 (18:05):
Why because he's losing a lot of advertisers because of
a lot of hate that's on X. And so he,
you know, is okay with the hate right on his platform,
but a lot of people are saying they don't want
to advertise there, and I'm pretty sure that's what's bothering him.
They believe that the boycott of his platform could cost
(18:25):
them as much as sev seventy five million dollars in
advertising revenue by the end of the year, so I'm
sure it's personal.
Speaker 7 (18:32):
Yeah, and that sounds like a lot of money.
Speaker 1 (18:33):
It feels like he needs somebody to be head of
di Okay, all right, well that is you're.
Speaker 2 (18:38):
Under the radar. And when we come back, you know,
we got the mix at the top of the hour.
Speaker 1 (18:41):
It's a holiday week, so we want to have a
good time and you know the music always is the
soundtrack for that.
Speaker 2 (18:47):
And we have forty one in the building.
Speaker 1 (18:49):
They just left to go to Europe to go to
London for the first time together as a group out
of the country. Nice and so there's a lot to
talk about. It's way up with Angela Yee like like.
Speaker 14 (19:00):
They Angela like they Angelie Gee.
Speaker 4 (19:03):
Man, she's spilling it all. This is yet, well.
Speaker 2 (19:09):
What's up?
Speaker 1 (19:09):
Its way up with Angela Yee. I'm Angela Yee. And
Blue Blue Jasmine brand is.
Speaker 7 (19:13):
Here, Blue Blue, I'm here.
Speaker 2 (19:14):
All right, let's get into some yet now.
Speaker 1 (19:16):
Meek Mills started crying during the Pennsylvania Probation bill signing.
You know, he was representing the Reform Alliance alongside Michael Rubin.
And let's not forget that reform alliance really started kind
of because of Yah. Yeah, as the Pennsylvania governor signed
the bill, this was inside Philly's National Constitution Center, and
he got.
Speaker 2 (19:35):
Very emotional, which he did not expect. Here's what he said.
Speaker 12 (19:38):
I at a point in my life, like we all
grew up in the streets and we try to be better,
but they labeled us feelings sent us back to jail.
I had to fight against that the old time to
gain my respect and be who I am today.
Speaker 2 (19:52):
And I'm proud of that.
Speaker 1 (19:54):
And he also posted, I don't know how I cried
on the news. I ain't even crying myself. I needed that.
Speaker 7 (19:59):
Oh, I love it.
Speaker 1 (20:00):
I'm sure he was reflecting on how he felt during
that time, you know, and that's a long time. And
then also to find out you were in jail like
unjustly and how many people that's happening too. Yeah, all right, Well,
shout out to him for that now, Daniel Colujah, congrats
to him. He is co directing Netflix's upcoming movie The Kitchen. Okay,
so now that's his debut. It's a futuristic world in
(20:23):
London where a community fights back as they are being
forcibly displaced from a social housing building called the Kitchen,
which is the place that they call home. So the
trailer just came out, the first trailer.
Speaker 2 (20:33):
To day, right.
Speaker 7 (20:34):
It actually looks really good.
Speaker 1 (20:36):
I will definitely be watching yep, all right, And Fantasia
is saying that she and her kids were victims of
racial profiling by their Airbnb host. She'd posted that she
was very upset that her family got kicked out of
Airbnb at midnight. She said the host accused them of
having a party with loud noises outdoors because they saw
balloon's being dropped off and a game chuck with no
(20:56):
generator in the early part of the day. So she
did say the amount of guests that they reserved for
are the amount of guests who stayed the night, But
she said they never said we weren't allowed to have
any company over, so I guess they had people over
during the day. But then you know the kids that
got kicked out. I feel like if the party was
over and everybody was gone and the kids were asleep
(21:16):
and it was the right amount of people, I don't
know why you would kick them out in the middle
of the night.
Speaker 2 (21:20):
But I'm an Airbnb owner, Yes.
Speaker 1 (21:21):
You are, and there's a lot of regulations when it
comes to gatherings and parties and things like that in
the airbnbs. So I'm not sure what the story is,
but I guess as much as you can communicate, because
I've had people who have done things like brought dogs
even though it clearly says no dogs. Yeah, and what
are you doing in those instances? I mean, we didn't
kick anyone out, yeah, now that's just not nice, but
(21:43):
we could have. Yeah, And there's definitely people who were
like rent in Airbnb and then you know, have all
kinds of other things going on. I've been in situations
where people were filming in an Airbnb and then the
owner was like, what are you doing?
Speaker 2 (21:55):
You're not supposed to have all these people here.
Speaker 1 (21:57):
And people are upset about like equipment coming in, damaging what.
We've had people damage things in the airbnb, spill wine,
break the tear, like all kinds of things.
Speaker 7 (22:06):
Yeah, can happen. That sounds like a lot, Yeah, it is.
Speaker 1 (22:09):
So I don't I'm not sure about the other side
of it, but as you can see, she was very
upset because that's when your children are involved. I'm sure
that there's somewhere that owner could have had a conversation
because they also put down a card, so if there's
any damage, you can charge it to them. And by
the way, a lot of people don't know this, Airbnb
also has insurance, okay, and so if somebody stays there
(22:29):
and damages something, you can actually use Airbnb's insurance perfect take.
Speaker 2 (22:33):
Care of it.
Speaker 1 (22:34):
But anyway, that is your EyeT And when we come back,
we have asked ye eight hundred two nine two fifty
one fifty is a number.
Speaker 2 (22:40):
Any question you have, we are here to help you out.
Speaker 1 (22:42):

nine two fifty one fifty.
Speaker 3 (22:46):

Speaker 2 (22:52):

Speaker 1 (22:53):
Its way up at Angela Yee. I'm Angela Yee and
Jasmine Brand is here.
Speaker 2 (22:57):
Hey, you ready to help?
Speaker 13 (22:59):
Yes?
Speaker 2 (22:59):
All right, because there are people who are calling that
need our help.
Speaker 14 (23:03):
Hello, I need help.
Speaker 11 (23:06):
I need some help here.
Speaker 2 (23:07):
Okay.
Speaker 1 (23:07):
You want to remain anonymous, right, yeah? Okay, So go
on ahead and let us know what your question is
for asking you.
Speaker 11 (23:15):
Okay, my question is I was I have a girlfriend
that was living with me? And basically she works from home,
but she seemed to get I had a guy, a boyfriend.
I guess it was coming in out of my household.
I needed tools because my neghbor told me that was
someone's coming over there. I put a camera in the
dead room and I found out that she was steeping
with the guy in my deer while I was at work.
Speaker 9 (23:35):
Oh, oh my goodness.
Speaker 11 (23:37):
So my thing is this. Do I show her the
video or do you think I just just let her
go and you know, not say nothing about it because
she's in de now. She says, she's everybody anybody into
my house, So I do have tooth.
Speaker 2 (23:51):
Oh, so you have proof and she life.
Speaker 1 (23:53):
First of all, that is crazy that she is still
in the house.
Speaker 2 (23:57):
I don't know. While I that is so disrespectful old.
Speaker 1 (24:00):
Yeah, I'm not gonna lie, as much as I want
to be, like, well, you know, it's a violation to it. No,
I would actually probably have next time I ask her
and she lies, I would have a queued up yeah,
and mirror to THEION.
Speaker 2 (24:14):
Yes, I'm not gonna lie.
Speaker 1 (24:16):
I would mirror it to the TV and have a
queued up and be like, so you're saying you've never
had a guy in the house. I'm giving you one
last opportunity to tell the truth so that I don't
have to actually show you what I've seen. And if
she's still denying it, then be like playing, I'm sorry.
I would have to do it, like you're not gonna
have somebody in my house, in my bed and then
sitting here in my face and lie to me. First
(24:37):
of all, the fact that she has somebody in your bed,
that's insane. Exactly, you should have everything packed up and
ready to go for her too.
Speaker 2 (24:45):
I would be like, let's pack up everything in the house.
Speaker 1 (24:47):
And maybe have someone else there, just to make sure
it doesn't get crazy.
Speaker 2 (24:51):
Yeah, you know, shout out to the neighbor.
Speaker 7 (24:52):
Shout out to the neighbor for us spelling.
Speaker 11 (24:54):
The tea, yeah, the street, and said, look, I got
to talk to about and I live it laughing on
my mind. But you know, I had a suspicion, but
I needed to poor but it went to kill them
part west. You know, I had cameras around house. She
always turned out the front camera in the front of
the house.
Speaker 13 (25:09):
Of course she did.
Speaker 11 (25:10):
She were to do these things, so she had no
camera on anything. So I would complain of the camps
come wrong. Yeah, you might have to get it sake.
But what she was doing was I'm plugging it.
Speaker 2 (25:19):
Oh no, she is found and so you are too nice.
Speaker 7 (25:21):
Yeah, sorry you had to go through this.
Speaker 11 (25:23):
Yeah, I know, I work hard every day and I
make good money. But sometimes you try to find the
right person to do it. It's kind of hard, though.
Speaker 2 (25:31):
Yeah, she's got to go.
Speaker 1 (25:32):
She gotta go, so something, And yeah, I felt like
something amazing is going to happen for you next. Sometimes
things like this happened to clear the path for what's right.
Speaker 11 (25:39):
Yep, Yeah, that's sure, that's sure. I mean, I'm not
she waited for honor's opinion. How would you feel if
I came to you and said to you that you
don't have to pay the light and glass and put
some bust in the love that and I feel ideas
in the house.
Speaker 1 (25:53):
I love that she's wild, she's she's wise, she ain't
no good.
Speaker 2 (25:57):
She gotta go. You gotta go, she's got to go.
Speaker 1 (26:02):
Let us know when you set up your dating profile
so we can post the link.
Speaker 2 (26:06):
Yes, and good luck, all.
Speaker 1 (26:08):
Right, and don't let this discourage you though. There are
some good women out there.
Speaker 2 (26:11):
Absolutely, just not her, okay, all right.
Speaker 11 (26:14):
Appreciate it, no problem.
Speaker 1 (26:18):

leave a message and will still help you out that way.

Speaker 2 (27:06):
I look at the media training. I love it. In general.
You guys have had a lot of growth.
Speaker 1 (27:11):
I remember when Fresher first hit me up to have
you guys come on. This was a little while ago,
but he also was talking about the philanthropy that you
do and even like I had did a bowling party
for Brooklyn Mamododes Hospital.
Speaker 2 (27:24):
And y'all came through.
Speaker 13 (27:29):
That.
Speaker 9 (27:29):
Again.
Speaker 1 (27:30):
Well, what I love is that organically y'all just got
on stage. It wasn't even nothing planned. You guys only
had to bowl.
Speaker 9 (27:36):
Yeah, and after everybody just got on stage, we made.
Speaker 4 (27:39):
It a concert.
Speaker 1 (27:40):
But one of the things that Fresher told me, you
guys are very intentional about is giving back in the community.
Speaker 9 (27:44):
That's where you came from.
Speaker 1 (27:47):
So we got and then let's talk about personal feelings
and the music, because it feels like sometimes y'all done
been through some things and you're talking about real life situations,
especially relationships. A man, how did you just wake up?
Speaker 2 (28:07):
Listen.
Speaker 1 (28:07):
I'm not gonna hold nothing against you because I know
you guys are leaving tonight to go on tour to

an accident in the sun. A son, a son, A son,
a son. In five days, a son.
Speaker 1 (28:21):

you to use condoms.
Speaker 9 (28:28):
Oh man, why you say a man?
Speaker 2 (28:31):
Both of you?
Speaker 16 (28:33):

and Tata, the three of y'all.
Speaker 2 (28:46):

It'll be like I want them first and they don't
want me, and then they go to jam. When JEN
don't want them, they just come back to me and
I'm gonna justa And you.
Speaker 1 (29:11):
Still do that. You don't feel away. So why do
you think Jane got more game than you?
Speaker 9 (29:17):
I don't have game. It's not even a game.
Speaker 1 (29:19):
You don't speak. So that's what people like, I don't know.
You're the mysterious way.
Speaker 9 (29:23):
I try to stay away, and they just feel.
Speaker 2 (29:26):
They waste your time. Why do you say that?
Speaker 9 (29:28):
Because like I'm letting out, like I know what you're
in for.
Speaker 2 (29:32):
I feel like your game is that you act like
you don't have no game.
Speaker 9 (29:35):
Oh no, I really don't have no game though.
Speaker 2 (29:38):

that flight. I know for everybody traveling too, there's a
lot of nasty weather the many places.
Speaker 7 (31:36):
Do you think our flight is going to be delayed?
Speaker 1 (31:38):
