Speaker 1 (00:01):
You are now Angelo what I call her?
Speaker 2 (00:06):
Ye?
Speaker 3 (00:13):
All right, it's way for Angela Yee. I'm Angela Yee.
And my good friend, my Capricorn brother Capricorn season Smelliot
aka Elliott.
Speaker 4 (00:22):
List is here.
Speaker 5 (00:26):
Wait what if that idiot?
Speaker 1 (00:29):
Well, oh my god, you got the drop o Mika
oh Man, look at it up already.
Speaker 2 (00:34):
I love it. I love it?
Speaker 6 (00:36):
Ye.
Speaker 4 (00:37):
All right. Now, you guys gotta know Ella Elliott Wilson.
Speaker 3 (00:40):
I know him from back in the day, from Ego Trip,
from double XL magazine. You recently had an anniversary of
getting fired.
Speaker 2 (00:46):
From EXXL two thousand. It was a tough day. No
one care. It was a big deal back then, about
fifteen years ago, sixteen years ago.
Speaker 4 (00:53):
Remember it was sixteen years ago.
Speaker 2 (00:55):
Sixteen years ago.
Speaker 4 (00:56):
You were a y n.
Speaker 2 (00:58):
I'm still a wayan.
Speaker 4 (00:59):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (01:00):
We'll discuss all of that though throughout the show because
we have so many things that we need to do.
We're going to talk about what I did last night
because I saw a book of Clarence and you hosted
the premiere.
Speaker 1 (01:10):
Yeah, I did that whole moderated the conversation between the
director of James Samuel and mister Shann Jason Carter.
Speaker 2 (01:14):
Was honest to do that.
Speaker 4 (01:16):
And we're going to talk about all of that.
Speaker 3 (01:17):
But in the meantime, let's spread some love and positivity. Yeah,
hundred two nine fifty, and I'm gonna call us up.
Speaker 4 (01:24):
We want to shine a light. It's way up.
Speaker 7 (01:29):
Turn your lights on, y'all, spreading love to those who
are doing greatness. It's time to shine a light on.
Speaker 4 (01:40):
All right.
Speaker 3 (01:40):
It's the way you put angela ye. I'm Angela yee,
and my guy, Elliott Wilson is here.
Speaker 5 (01:44):
Ediott Welson.
Speaker 3 (01:46):
Oh god, that's your drop for the day.
Speaker 5 (01:53):
Huh, Ediot Welfon.
Speaker 4 (01:55):
Wow, that was very clever. I'm not gonna lie.
Speaker 2 (01:58):
I don't think anyone ever called me idiot Wilson.
Speaker 4 (02:01):
Listen.
Speaker 3 (02:01):
She could tell she got bars because I call you
smelly it all the time. Then she said, I said, okay, okay,
but it's time to shine a light, spread some love
and positivity. I want to shine a light on my girl, Yaminika.
She's a comedian. She plays on Life and Beth on Hulu,
but she's an award winning writer, she's an actress. She,
by the way, got me to come and do like
(02:23):
a personal training workout with her with the personal trainer
that she uses, and she took me to comedy seller.
Speaker 4 (02:29):
She's a good time and she's just super smart.
Speaker 3 (02:32):
I like when comedians are really smart, like with their
content and what they say when they go on stage.
They talk about their families, they talk about things like that,
but they also can give a lot of commentary about
what's going on in the world.
Speaker 4 (02:43):
So that always like strikes accord with me.
Speaker 3 (02:45):
I know some people everybody it's all subjective, but I
do like that.
Speaker 6 (02:49):
I like that.
Speaker 2 (02:50):
I like that too.
Speaker 3 (02:51):
All right, well, shout out to you, miss Yamina. And
now who do you guys want to spread some love to?
Speaker 4 (02:56):
Bam? How are you? I'm amazing, you sound amazing. Who
do you want to shine a light on?
Speaker 8 (03:02):
Oh my gosh, I have to sign a light on
my soul. This is not my first time calling in
to you, but like you know, I motivate myself. But
I just finished my bachelor's program. I was taking an
accelerated bachelor's program. I'm a single mom. I don't have
any support. I work full time like I work for
John Popkins. I have an amazing, you know job, and
I have an amazing career path I'm a podcaster also.
(03:25):
But now that my Bachelor's program is complete, and you know,
I have this idle time, I'm trying to figure out
what my next chapter is.
Speaker 4 (03:34):
Well, congratulations, shine a light on you.
Speaker 3 (03:36):
A lot of times people be feeling discouraged, like I
can't do this.
Speaker 4 (03:39):
I'm a single mom.
Speaker 3 (03:40):
I don't have time trying to get this money trying
to do it, but you really show that it can happen.
Absolutely absolutely, all right, Well, that would shine a light
and the number is eight hundred two nine two fifty
one fifty. In case you couldn't get through, you could
still leave a message and shine that light.
Speaker 4 (03:56):
But when we come back, we have.
Speaker 3 (03:58):
A yet, and let's talk about breaking the internet again.
That's what Willie D says is going to happen. With
his next interview with Kat Williams will discuss it. And
we got that trailer for you. It's way up, they.
Speaker 9 (04:09):
Says, the rooms.
Speaker 7 (04:11):
From industry shade to all of gossip out. Angela's spieling
that yet.
Speaker 4 (04:18):
It's way up.
Speaker 3 (04:18):
But Angela yee, I'm Angela Yee. And Elliott Wilson is here, Elliott,
well are you doing Nick? All right, let's get into
some yete. Now, Willie D has an interview coming out
with Kat Williams.
Speaker 4 (04:32):
It should actually be out now.
Speaker 3 (04:33):
According to his page, it says here's coming out at
ten am Eastern, so we'll be watching for that more
Cat Williams. But here was the trailer that he posted.
Speaker 4 (04:42):
No matter what he says, he never met me.
Speaker 2 (04:45):
I'm doing seven thousand in your hometown, you got arrested, etc.
Speaker 1 (04:51):
E legend because every city I go to, I'm with
the best car.
Speaker 2 (04:55):
It's probably smoke coming out that car.
Speaker 4 (04:58):
It's probably girls gathering around. I look like the plug.
Speaker 2 (05:03):
Okay.
Speaker 3 (05:04):
And you know another thing that broke yesterday is Kevin
Hart's ex wife, Tory Hart is going on tour with
Kat Williams. She posted Charlotte, Orlando, Tampa, come see me
live with my good friend Kat Williams on the Dark
Matters tour.
Speaker 4 (05:17):
More dates coming soon.
Speaker 2 (05:18):
Kat Williams is not playing in twenty twenty four.
Speaker 4 (05:21):
Oh my goodness.
Speaker 6 (05:22):
You know.
Speaker 3 (05:22):
And we're gonna talk about this because I'm we're gonna
do this as a topic today for a pick aside.
Is she wrong for that or do you feel like
she does do stand up? It's an opportunity. Why wouldn't
you do it, you know, in light of everything that
just happened. But we'll discuss that later. So y'all just
think about that a marinade on it, all right, Little
knights X says he's not looking to make a mockery
(05:42):
of Jesus with the new single cover of himself on
a cross. He posted my new single as dedicated to
the man who had the greatest comeback of all time.
Speaker 4 (05:51):
And you can see that imagery.
Speaker 3 (05:53):
And he got some backlash for this, which I think
he should have anticipated.
Speaker 1 (05:57):
They yes, this is like the point out. Is he
a real artist or is he just liked the trolling
part because he's so good at that? So how much
is it real? How much is does the kid likes
to just troll all the time?
Speaker 3 (06:07):
I mean he posted the crazy thing is nowhere in
the picture is a mockery of Jesus. Jesus's image is
used throughout history in people's art all over the world.
Speaker 4 (06:14):
I'm not making fun of ish.
Speaker 3 (06:15):
You all just got to step trying to gate keeper
religion that was here before any of us were even born.
Speaker 4 (06:20):
Stfu.
Speaker 1 (06:22):
Let's just hope the song slaps period.
Speaker 4 (06:27):
All right.
Speaker 3 (06:28):
Now, let's talk about the Golden Globes again. Joe Cooy
has boys. I do like Joe Cooy. I went to
go see You Stand Up when he was in New York.
I watched all of his specials. I read his book.
I mean, I admire the fact that when he couldn't
get Netflix to give him a special, he went and
paid for everything, filmed it himself produced.
Speaker 4 (06:50):
It ended up making more money.
Speaker 3 (06:51):
He produces all his own specials and puts on all
his own shows. And actually, the Golden Globes nine point
four million viewers. That's up fifty percent from last year.
Speaker 2 (07:01):
That's windy.
Speaker 1 (07:02):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (07:03):
Okay, So even though people are acting like it was,
you know, terrible, it did pretty well. You know, it
did a It broke a record for Paramount Plus as
it reached the largest livestreaming audience for an awards show
at Paramount Plus and other CBS platforms since the sixty
fifth Grammys aired. All Right, and here's what Joe Koy
had to say about the bad reviews and things like that,
(07:24):
and the Taylor Swift joke that he felt like didn't
go over well.
Speaker 10 (07:27):
Taylor one was just a little flat. It was more
on the NFL. You know what, I mean, I was
trying to make fun of the NFL.
Speaker 2 (07:33):
But I don't think I read it.
Speaker 4 (07:35):
It just didn't come out that way, you know, So
would you agree to it if you were asked?
Speaker 2 (07:39):
Again? That's a tough gig.
Speaker 10 (07:41):
I'm not gonna lie like I really, I really love
the artist's stand up, you know, it was it was
cool that the opportunity came hosting is just it is
a beast.
Speaker 3 (07:51):
You sound a little deflated, yeah, you know, to be clear,
Chris Back turned it down. Ali Wang turned it down.
I mean a lot of comedians turned it down before
he accepted it, and it was kind of last minute
for him to step.
Speaker 4 (08:06):
In and do it.
Speaker 2 (08:07):
That the jokes he wrote was write that one though, and.
Speaker 3 (08:12):
Here's well, you know what, do we have time? Here's
the Taylor Swift joke that went flat.
Speaker 11 (08:16):
We came on after a football double header. The big
difference between the Golden Globes and the NFL. On the
Golden Globes, we have fewer camera shots of Taylor Swift.
I swear sorry about that.
Speaker 4 (08:29):
He should have said sorry about that. Don't tell those jokes.
I don't apologize down.
Speaker 2 (08:33):
A little bit. She was sipping the drink and she
stayed them down.
Speaker 4 (08:36):
That was not necessary.
Speaker 3 (08:37):
All right, Well that is your yet, and when we
come back, we have about last night. I told you
I went to go see the Book of Clarence. Well,
Wilson moderated a whole conversation. We'll discuss that in the meantime.
Let's hear some diamonds from Rihanna.
Speaker 4 (08:50):
It's way up.
Speaker 7 (08:50):
So about last night.
Speaker 3 (08:52):
Last night, I went down It's way up with Angela. Ye,
I'm Angela yee. Elliott Wilson is here, idiot, Well, I'm sorry.
Speaker 2 (09:01):
I love it.
Speaker 3 (09:04):
This is a good sense of humor with that love
That nice. So let's talk about what we did last night. Now,
what I did last night and what you did is different.
You came in here suited and booted. I was at
the Book of Clarence screening in New York, but you
hosted the premiere Q and A. You moderated a conversation
with James Samuel who wrote it, directed it.
Speaker 2 (09:23):
Yes, he personally asked me to do it. I was
very honored.
Speaker 4 (09:25):
That's dope.
Speaker 1 (09:26):
Moderated conversation with him and mister Shawn jay Z Carter,
and I was.
Speaker 4 (09:29):
Like producer is acer He.
Speaker 2 (09:32):
Did the heart of theay Fall. So this is their
second film together collaboration, all right.
Speaker 3 (09:36):
And the music James Samuel also, by the way, did
the music, Yes, if I'm not hands on with everything,
the music amazing. Yeah, he's from the Bullets. He's a
musician first and foremost, but he's also a filmmaker. But
he's so hands on with his project. It was telling
me how they usually write the music while they're writing
the script. Like he does everything at one time, the scoring, everything.
So he's a genius. He's actually really good friends with
(09:58):
Jay Electronica.
Speaker 2 (09:59):
Yes, yes, teatured on his other genius.
Speaker 4 (10:02):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (10:03):
All right.
Speaker 3 (10:03):
So, and here's something that we also learned while you
moderated that Q and A.
Speaker 4 (10:09):
This this clip went viral.
Speaker 2 (10:11):
Yep, that soundtrack go hard. There's a nine minute song
with jay Z and another special guest that I mean
they've been sitting through here. Give it to him, man,
why are you holding it? Why are you hold D'Angelo
and jay Z on the same track? Nine minutes thirty
three seconds of absolute, soulful, biblical blitz.
Speaker 4 (10:31):
How did that even come about?
Speaker 3 (10:32):
I was thinking maybe a quest love set that up,
but how did the how did that even happen.
Speaker 2 (10:37):
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (10:38):
He also has a song on the soundtrack with Kodak
Black and Doja Kat. I mean, I think it's just
in the mind of James Samuel. He puts these people together,
like I don't know how he pieced together. But you
know it's funny. It was funny with Jay was like.
Speaker 2 (10:47):
Don't deprive the people. Tell me you deprive the people.
Speaker 4 (10:49):
Ja the first one to keep a secret, you.
Speaker 2 (10:52):
Can probably tell him don't deprive the people.
Speaker 3 (10:55):
For everybody listening, because the movie does come out on
the twelfth, yes, and the soundtrack and the soundtrack, so
let's talk about what the movie is because for people
who are listening, they might see the screener.
Speaker 4 (11:06):
I mean they might see the trailer.
Speaker 1 (11:09):
Sparked a lot of controversy because basically it's the portrail
of black folks in Biblical times, which has never really
been done in film. Like we grew up watching like
Ten you know, Ten Commandments and ben her and all
these movies like we don't see ourselves, We don't see
black folks in Biblical times, so.
Speaker 4 (11:21):
Like Passion of the Christ.
Speaker 1 (11:23):
Yeah, so it's interesting, and you know, they tackle these
tough topics like he did with the West Black folks
in Westerns with the heart of They Fall.
Speaker 2 (11:29):
So I think people should keep an open mind and
check it out.
Speaker 3 (11:32):
And Lakeith Stanfield did an amazing job. He plays himself
and his twin brother.
Speaker 2 (11:35):
Amazing acting job.
Speaker 4 (11:37):
I'm not gonna lie, I'm so dumb.
Speaker 3 (11:38):
I was watching it and I was like, is that
actor he is?
Speaker 6 (11:44):
Right?
Speaker 3 (11:45):
I thought he did an amazing job in the movie
as well. So I did definitely thoroughly enjoying it. Thoroughly
enjoy it. I was entertained. The whole premise of it
is about, you know, fake Messiah and how and faith.
Speaker 4 (12:00):
You know, a lot of it is also based on
the face.
Speaker 3 (12:01):
And I know that James Samuel said he's had this
on his mind to do this for a long time.
Speaker 1 (12:06):
Yeah, he said he wrote it in two thousand, early
thousands and finally put it the paper in twenty seventeen.
Speaker 2 (12:11):
So it's a journey to get that out.
Speaker 1 (12:12):
And I think that's why you know, these people in
this corner, like jay Z and like the other guy
lasted or James lasts a lot of stuff with Will
Smith's Overbrook Entertainment, you know.
Speaker 2 (12:20):
You get these kind of powerful stories out you know.
Speaker 3 (12:23):
Well, I thank you for coming up here to you know,
I'm glad we got a chance to talk about this
because you have a lot of inside information. I just
went to the screening yesterday. That's all it was. And
I'm gonna be honest, I'm a snob now in the movies.
I only like to go to theaters where you could
like order food at you see.
Speaker 2 (12:37):
Get some drinks.
Speaker 4 (12:38):
I can relax. I can't go to a regular titter anymore.
I need the experience.
Speaker 2 (12:43):
If I'm leaving Upbrady upgraded man, come boy.
Speaker 4 (12:46):
All right, Well that is about last night.
Speaker 3 (12:47):
Now when we come back, I want to talk about
Kevin Hart's ex wife, Tori Heart.
Speaker 4 (12:51):
She's the one person though she's.
Speaker 3 (12:52):
Her own human being and comic going on to over
Cat william She is a comic and she did say
she's going on tour with her good friend Kat Williams
on the Dark Matters tour.
Speaker 4 (13:01):
I saw a lot, a lot of reaction.
Speaker 3 (13:03):
I want to see what you guys think, pick aside,
is this wrong that she's going on tour after what's
been going on? You know, Kevin Hart is still her
ex husband, father to her children, or do you think
all's fair game, this is work, and this is a
great business opportunity. What do you guys think? Eight hundred
two nine two fifty one to fifty pick aside.
Speaker 4 (13:21):
It's way up.
Speaker 7 (13:22):
It's not just right or wrong. It's about what you believe.
It's time to pick a side.
Speaker 4 (13:28):
And stay there, all right, it's a way up with
Angela Ye.
Speaker 3 (13:31):
I'm Angela Yee and I am joined by my fellow
Capricorn goat Elliott Wilson.
Speaker 2 (13:36):
Hi Eddiot well gets me every time. I love it.
Speaker 3 (13:40):
And we are picking a side today. We're talking about
Tory Hark. That's Kevin Hart's ex wife, but she's our
own human being individual. She's been doing stand up comedy,
has her own podcast. We've seen her on you know,
on the rail, We've seen her everywhere, and now she
has the opportunity to go on tour with Kat Williams.
She posted Charlotte or landa Tampa my good friend Kat
(14:03):
Williams on the Dark Matters tour. More dates coming soon.
Will The comments were going absolutely crazy. Okay, was it
wrong for her to do this knowing that Kevin Kevin
Hart and Kat Williams don't have the best relationship with
each other, but she has co parenting very well with
her ex husband.
Speaker 4 (14:20):
What do you think, Elliott?
Speaker 1 (14:22):
I think that she should take the hope that she
keeps it classy like the materials, not this thing or
disparaging Kevin hard and if she does it, you know
it's clever, right, intelligent and funny commentary and funny commentary.
Speaker 4 (14:32):
Because anything can be excused when it's funny.
Speaker 3 (14:34):
I feel like, as long as the joke is well
done and it's well done.
Speaker 4 (14:38):
And execute it well.
Speaker 3 (14:39):
And yes, I agree, I think that she should not
pass up on this opportunity to go ahead and go
on tour.
Speaker 4 (14:46):
I don't feel like the two of their beef is
not something.
Speaker 3 (14:49):
That's like, yeah, ever, it could be resolved.
Speaker 4 (14:52):
At some point, who knows. I don't think it's that deep.
Speaker 2 (14:54):
It seems a little more amicable now I would guess.
Speaker 4 (14:57):
Between them right now, it's about Kat and Kevin.
Speaker 2 (14:59):
Oh no, that's now we don't know what's going to.
Speaker 3 (15:01):
Happen, because there's also a new interview dropping with Willy
d that Kat Williams did, and so now it definitely
is pick aside. But they both said things about each
other and Tory's probably like, leave me out of it.
I'm just trying to do my stand up. But what
do you guys think? Pick aside eight hundred two nine
fifty to hard.
Speaker 1 (15:16):
How are you?
Speaker 3 (15:17):
Hey, girl, it's me and Elliott. What do you think
about Torri going on to his career?
Speaker 5 (15:23):
Like they be going back and forth?
Speaker 8 (15:24):
So I feel like, why go on for diet some
coins and get a little get back on your baby daddy.
Speaker 6 (15:30):
Like.
Speaker 1 (15:31):
Get get girl, get it back girl.
Speaker 4 (15:36):
So it's a win win for her. It's a win win,
it really is.
Speaker 3 (15:40):
You know, she was on the rail and I remember
when she went on the rail and she talked about
asking him for help, you know, and going through her
divorce and watching him move on, and she just said
she finally had a breakthrough. She had a podcast, I
should call it breaking through a tory and so she
talked about her revelation during that time.
Speaker 8 (15:59):
He can't be mad, had that he's conneft for an
opportunity and yeah, it might be some tan.
Speaker 5 (16:04):
But did Kat Williams flying?
Speaker 3 (16:06):
I Okay, man, we're not going there, but thank you
for coming.
Speaker 4 (16:13):
Hey, dB, what's up?
Speaker 6 (16:15):
What's going on?
Speaker 3 (16:18):
And Elliott Wilson the left, Yeah, what's going down?
Speaker 6 (16:21):
What's going down in America.
Speaker 4 (16:23):
So what do you think inside?
Speaker 3 (16:25):
Okay, is it's roun for Torri Hart to do this
toy with Cat Williams?
Speaker 4 (16:29):
Are you feel like, look, it's work?
Speaker 6 (16:31):
I think it's work. I think Cat Williams does set
it up already with his latest podcast, and they all
will get money, and I appreciate it. I don't think
it's shady, but I really think it's a way for
everybody to want to tune in and uh hear the
dark side of Kapa Hawk's pants.
Speaker 1 (16:46):
Okay, dog side standing on business all right, Well, thank
you for calling dB.
Speaker 3 (16:53):
All right, I love you. I love his energy. All right,
Well that was picked aside. It feels like a lot
of you are saying that Torri Hurrit should.
Speaker 4 (17:05):
Go for it.
Speaker 2 (17:05):
You're standing on business.
Speaker 3 (17:07):
Money girl, and you know, like somebody in the room
said though while we were off air, it is about intent.
Is he intent to try to drag him or is
he intent to just further your career and leave that alone.
Speaker 1 (17:17):
I think the dope move is if she doesn't the
material she does isn't disparaging him. She just does a
dope comic set shows what a dope comic she is.
Right and the opportunity right, So as.
Speaker 3 (17:26):
A comedian, if there's a way to address it without
being malicious, but that it could be funny, that could
really work, you know, for both of them.
Speaker 2 (17:33):
It's a high rold girl.
Speaker 3 (17:34):
Yes, thank you, Elliott. All right, Well when we come
back we have yet Are you ready for this? We're
going to talk about Steph lon Don versus Jada Kingdom.
Speaker 4 (17:44):
How did we get here?
Speaker 2 (17:46):
Twenty twenty four?
Speaker 4 (17:46):
L right with burna boy? Huh way yea t is next.
Speaker 7 (17:50):
S She's about to blow the lead ab off this pot.
Speaker 2 (17:52):
Let's get it.
Speaker 7 (17:54):
Angelus billing that yee te come and get the tea.
Speaker 4 (17:57):
It's way up.
Speaker 3 (17:57):
But Angela yee, I'm angela yee. And Elliot Wilson is here.
Huh Eddiot, Well that's Elliott Wilson darling, and let's get
into some beauty.
Speaker 4 (18:06):
I have Elliott very well versed.
Speaker 3 (18:07):
And what's going on right now between stephlan Don and
Jada Kingdom.
Speaker 4 (18:11):
The two of them have been trading. This is with
each other.
Speaker 2 (18:15):
So this is a rap beef, this is dancehall beef.
Speaker 3 (18:17):
Yes, and Jada Kingdom did get straight to the point,
like what's going on? Like she came straight to the source.
So this all started when stephlon Don previewed her song
don Cullin, and people felt like, feels like you're trying
to throw some shots at Jada Kingdom.
Speaker 4 (18:31):
Here is that preview? All right?
Speaker 3 (18:40):
Now, maybe who's our board up? He's actually Jamaican. So
do you want to explain what was just said?
Speaker 2 (18:48):
Uh?
Speaker 9 (18:49):
So, pretty much they don't like each other and it
appears that the beef is over browna boy.
Speaker 4 (18:55):
And but what was just said in that song? Oh,
she pretty much called her a user.
Speaker 3 (18:59):
Okay, all right now, Stephan Stephan Dunn then went on
social media and was questioning what is going on here?
Speaker 4 (19:07):
Here's what she said. I mean, I'm sorry.
Speaker 3 (19:10):
Dada Kingdom went on social media and addressed Steph Land
and directly added her to the.
Speaker 4 (19:14):
Point, this is the week beefing me over guy?
Speaker 9 (19:17):
Should I left the song where it's the uncomformily a
confident because not think I can go take the toat
with me And I'm sparing you like military spirial.
Speaker 2 (19:26):
She's sparing her.
Speaker 4 (19:27):
Yes, she is sparing her.
Speaker 3 (19:29):
Is what she has to say. And after that, Jada
Kingdom put out this song.
Speaker 4 (19:34):
Argue with your group, use a month.
Speaker 6 (19:37):
That is a true.
Speaker 4 (19:38):
His name is my animis. I'm almost wildly cooks. You
move on your most delulliland.
Speaker 3 (19:47):
That's hard too, like the music now, do you want
to translate for us?
Speaker 4 (19:53):
Maybe?
Speaker 9 (19:54):
Jada Kingdom pretty much called Steph Landon very old. You're
arguing with someone out of your age group as a
makes sense. All you're a person who allegedly just said
that his his buddy is small as she said, he's
a mama's boy. And she also said that London bed
as in everyone in London was on you.
Speaker 3 (20:15):
Okay, all right, interesting, it's messy, and some people are
saying even though they were never friends, they were acquainted
on social media and Jada would be in her her comments,
you know, complimenting her and then this all happens. But
you know, Jada Kingdom was saying, why are we beefing
over and burna boy? He's you know, it's basically what
(20:38):
she said, like, why are we beefing over this? And
Jada Kingdom is with partisan Fontaine right now. So you know,
hopefully they just keep this to music, keep it on,
keep it on, wax because people like to, you know,
the drama does sell and if you can address things
in real life then in your music.
Speaker 1 (20:53):
Like that's all Battle records. Though both they sound like
they're both, you know, sound really inspired.
Speaker 3 (20:57):
Musically, there are the subliminals that we should know about.
Maybe perhaps the tract that she was rhyming over anything
like that. No, nothing forward, okay, real straightforward?
Speaker 2 (21:07):
All right now.
Speaker 3 (21:07):
Fifty cent said that he is giving up sex this year.
He said, I don't have time to be distracted. My
new idea is so big. I'm practicing abstinence. I've been
meditating and focusing on my goals. I hope this new
year helps you excel to the next level.
Speaker 2 (21:21):
He's a focus man.
Speaker 3 (21:22):
Right, Does that work practicing abstinence to focus on your goals?
Speaker 2 (21:28):
You do what you gotta do?
Speaker 3 (21:29):
And does that include like not doing anything yourself pleasing yourself?
Speaker 2 (21:35):
So that's the lip service type of topic.
Speaker 4 (21:38):
He's like, I don't know. I'm married happily and we
do not practice that.
Speaker 2 (21:42):
All right?
Speaker 3 (21:42):
Well, oh, Jo Sinka in the meantime said he keeps
a sex schedule on his fridge.
Speaker 4 (21:46):
Here's what he had to say.
Speaker 2 (21:48):
We have a schedule on a refrigerator. I woke up.
Speaker 4 (21:51):
That's it's different.
Speaker 2 (21:52):
O now.
Speaker 3 (21:55):
Got keys schedule on the fridge. You know what I
used to have on my fridge. When you have to
move your car to the other side of the street,
that's my fridge, all right, so I know if I
got to get yeah, move the alternate side parking rules
are all right, Well that is your ut. And when
we come back, we have under the radar. These are
the stories that are not necessarily in the headlines. They
(22:16):
are flying under the radar. New York might become the
first date to offer maternity leave during pregnancy. I thought
that a lot of places ordered it, but I didn't.
I didn't realize that it wasn't a statewide mandate.
Speaker 2 (22:29):
All right, we'll talk about it.
Speaker 3 (22:30):
Catch up, all right, it's way up and under the
radar is next in.
Speaker 7 (22:34):
The news that relates to you. These stories are flying
under the radar.
Speaker 4 (22:38):
All right. It's way up with Angela Yee.
Speaker 3 (22:40):
I'm Angela Yee, and Elliott Wilson is here with.
Speaker 6 (22:44):
Yes.
Speaker 4 (22:45):
We can't stop, won't stop. All right.
Speaker 3 (22:47):
Now, One thing I want to point out. I just
saw this come up across my feed. Detroit has d
thrown Miami as the fastest appreciating housing market as home
prices are continuing their climb into late twenty twenty three,
US home prices were up five point two percent. That
is the strongest annual growth rate since January of last year.
(23:08):
So Miami and Florida is still a strong market, but
it seems like as far as.
Speaker 4 (23:12):
Appreciating quickly, Detroit.
Speaker 2 (23:15):
Is now at the time you've been in that Detroit market.
Speaker 4 (23:18):
They say shout out, see baby all right.
Speaker 3 (23:22):
New York might become the first date to offer maternity
leave during pregnancy. Also date, it would be the first, Yes,
eligible New Yorkers will earn paid leave.
Speaker 4 (23:32):
And that's so that you can go to doctor's appointments
and do things like that, you know.
Speaker 3 (23:35):
So the Governor, Kathy Hochel is hoping to change the
fact that people are very frustrated when they're pregnant and
they have to go to appointments that can be really tough.
They want to expand paid parental leave and offer any
eligible New York or forty hours of paid leave for
prenatal care. So, you know, a lot of times you
have appointments you gotta get to. So if this does pass,
(23:57):
New York would be the first date in the United
States to cover these appointments.
Speaker 4 (24:00):
I think that's that's really cool.
Speaker 3 (24:02):
Yeah, that's something that could be really helpful to women,
because there's already sometimes a stigma in the office place
when people, you know, a lot of times people want
to keep it secretcuse it's like, oh, if they know
I'm pregnant, they might have an issue and they might
think I'm not going to be able to handle my responsibilities.
But the fact of the matter is, yes, you got
to go to doctor's appointments. You want to have a
healthy pregnancy, and you want to have a healthy delivery.
Speaker 4 (24:22):
Yes, all right.
Speaker 3 (24:24):
Twenty twenty three is officially the hottest year on record,
as global temperatures close in on the warming limit.
Speaker 4 (24:32):
So that's not a good thing.
Speaker 3 (24:33):
By the way, I know, we love the fact that
we're like, man, there's no snow, this isn't happening, and
it's been pretty warm for the winter, and sometimes people
are like, that's amazing. But the truth to the matter
is global warming is not a positive thing. It's also
the first year with all days over one degree celsius
warmer than the pre industrial period, and so they're saying
(24:55):
that we have to.
Speaker 4 (24:57):
Emphasize that we got to take better care of the environment.
Speaker 3 (25:01):
This should not be happening, all right, So just want
to put that out there. So for some people say
that climate change isn't real and feel the effects, we
are definitely feeling the effects of it. All right, Well
that is you're under the radar. Now we do got
the way it mixed. At the top of the hour, plus,
Elliott Wilson is here, and there is no way that
we can have Elliott Wilson in the building and not
talk to him about all of the things that he's
(25:22):
been going through. You're always interviewing other people. You're always
moderating conversations. Yes, you were just with Jay Z and
James Samuel for the Book of Clarence, but you also
had a back and forth with the Barbes and with
Nicki Mina called yes, she called you out by name
as idiot, Wilson idiot, But you did apologize to kys
(25:42):
and and we're going to discuss all of that and
find out why. All right, it's way up with Angela. Yee,
let's get ready to party.
Speaker 4 (25:50):
She's like a like Angela like they Angela gee.
Speaker 7 (25:53):
Man, she's spelling it all.
Speaker 2 (25:55):
This is yea te way.
Speaker 3 (25:59):
All right, his way up with Angela yee, I'm angela yee.
Elliott Wilson is here, huh Eddie, Well all right and
we got some yet for you now. Shout out to
Bootleg keV. His show is now on Premiere Networks. They're
going to be doing weekday and weekend programming. He's already
in more than sixty stations. Man, yes, so and iHeartMedia graduation.
Speaker 4 (26:24):
So it's him.
Speaker 3 (26:26):
It is James Andre Jefferson Jr. And also DJ Sam
I Am who is the producer, So shout out to them.
But he has an interview with NBA Young Boy and
that's been making the rounds. And one thing that was
talked about is how NBA Young Boy says he is
not big on fatherhood.
Speaker 2 (26:42):
How important is fatherhood to you?
Speaker 4 (26:44):
Man, You're not really big on it, to be honest,
what do you mean by that?
Speaker 2 (26:48):
You're not big on that.
Speaker 1 (26:49):
I'm only like in here because you I don't believe
it's a crazy topic because I'm not the type like
a sugar coat man.
Speaker 2 (26:56):
But I'm full walls.
Speaker 4 (26:57):
Oh they when you say four walls, you mean locked in? Yeah,
all right, four wolves, Yeah, I mean he has eleven kids.
Speaker 3 (27:07):
I saw a lot of people having ego viral, and
I will say, you know, an NBA young boy. I
remember he did say he says a lot of different
things at different times, but depending on his moods.
Speaker 4 (27:17):
But I think also the need to feel that love
too is important to him.
Speaker 6 (27:21):
Yeah. You know.
Speaker 3 (27:23):
Another thing that he talked about was smoking cigarettes since
he was seven years old.
Speaker 4 (27:28):
I was smoking sitting about seven years old.
Speaker 7 (27:30):
God, I guess during the time, like as he was
at the house, I used to be watching smoking cigarettes
and anytime me.
Speaker 2 (27:38):
Grab it and you smoke what was left.
Speaker 4 (27:41):
That's crazy.
Speaker 2 (27:42):
I've never smoked in my life.
Speaker 4 (27:43):
You want to hear something.
Speaker 3 (27:45):
When I was young, I smoked a whole pack of
cigarettes in one day and I probably was like.
Speaker 4 (27:48):
Eight, wow, just for no reason. And I never did
it again.
Speaker 3 (27:55):
Did it? It wasn't enjoyable, But it was me and
my best friend who lived across the street and her
dad was the pack. We smoked the whole pack in
the serious parking lot, all right. In addition to that,
he also talked about how he he feels that he
is going to end up going back to jail.
Speaker 2 (28:10):
Do you have thoughts about what happens after rapp I'm
kind of set.
Speaker 4 (28:14):
I'm going in jail right now.
Speaker 2 (28:15):
So I don't really think about too.
Speaker 4 (28:17):
Much, like you think that that's just in your fate,
my life. I won't let it bought him.
Speaker 2 (28:25):
You make the bed you lay, to make the bed
you lay.
Speaker 4 (28:30):
Oh my gosh.
Speaker 2 (28:31):
I feel sorry for that.
Speaker 3 (28:32):
But I will say it's difficult because he can't leave
the house, he can't go anywhere, he can't do anything.
Speaker 6 (28:37):
You know.
Speaker 3 (28:37):
The good thing is that he's not in danger being there,
But mentally, I'm sure that's not easy to have to be.
Speaker 2 (28:46):
Three years right, Yeah, And the.
Speaker 3 (28:49):
Only way you can see him is to get permission
and to be able to go there and visit.
Speaker 4 (28:54):
And he hasn't had any easy life up to this
point either, not at all.
Speaker 1 (28:58):
But you know, Bulllet cap Man got very intimate conversation
with him. I think people should check it out.
Speaker 4 (29:02):
Mm hmm.
Speaker 3 (29:03):
Yeah, So shout out to boot Leg, keV and the
whole team. All right, and jay Z recently talked about
why he doesn't think he should perform at the Super Bowl. Yeah,
you know, he's the person that puts together the whole
halftime show. Has he talked to you about this intimately?
Speaker 2 (29:17):
Elliott? He was, do you think I should.
Speaker 4 (29:23):
Entertainment tonight. Here is what he had to say.
Speaker 8 (29:25):
You never get on stage again, get on stage super
Bowl halftime stage.
Speaker 9 (29:30):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (29:31):
I thought it would be selfish to pick myself like
too early.
Speaker 4 (29:34):
So maybe one year, maybe next year, not this year,
maybe next year.
Speaker 2 (29:39):
Made the album from the Guy first.
Speaker 3 (29:42):
You know, the Book of Clarence is going to be
out on Friday, and he produced that movie with James Samuel.
Speaker 4 (29:48):
We just saw James in the hallway.
Speaker 3 (29:49):
You also James Yes, moderated a Q and A with them,
So we'll talk more about that. And I do want
to say we did see the Willie d interview with
kat Williams is out.
Speaker 4 (29:59):
We would just say in here watching it.
Speaker 3 (30:00):
It's about an hour long for anybody who's going to
watch that, and he talks about a lot of different things.
I was trying to skim through it while we're up here,
but you know, he does address Michael Blaxon. He does
also no, no, not one of the Sikes. It was
the Wanda that was on with Frank Ski. Oh yeah,
the radio the comedian, Yes, that comedian. He also addresses
(30:25):
other issues that he's had with people like Ricky Smiley.
He talks about again Friday, a lot of different things
about going viral and breaking the Internet and even what
his issues are that he has with the industry.
Speaker 4 (30:35):
So you can watch that full interview which is available,
and all the.
Speaker 2 (30:38):
Wims has raised its value again he was telling me.
Speaker 3 (30:40):
Right, yeah, I mean they said they did a whole
article about how ticket prices have gone up. His shows
are definitely selling out more in demand. So all this
is going to do is raise his profile even more.
He's a genius.
Speaker 2 (30:53):
Kat Williams the comeback story to Yourself.
Speaker 3 (30:55):
And you know, Kevin Hart was on the Today Show
also today, so I was watching that interview and but
he was promoting the movie Lift, right, is that what
it's called Lyft? So he was on there talking about that.
But Kevin Hart's ex wife Tory Hart is going on
tour with hitting the role Kat Williams as well, So
much going on. Kat Williams really started off twenty twenty
four with the movie Bank And look right now, the
(31:16):
Shannon Sharp interview has what.
Speaker 4 (31:18):
Thirty six million YouTube records?
Speaker 3 (31:21):
News All right, well, when we come back, we have
ask yee eight hundred two nine two fifty one fifty
is and I'm gonna call us up.
Speaker 4 (31:27):
I'm here, Elliott Wilson is here. Any question you have,
we want to help its way up.
Speaker 7 (31:30):
It's relationship for career advice. Angela's dropping facts. You should
know this is ask gee?
Speaker 4 (31:36):
What's up? It's way you put Angela Yee.
Speaker 3 (31:38):
I'm Angela Yee and Elliott Wilson is here with me
today and it's time for ask ye. That's what we
give advice. Any question you have, We're here to help you.
Eight hundred and two ninety two fifty one fifty. Today's
caler wants to remain anonymous.
Speaker 2 (31:50):
What's up?
Speaker 4 (31:50):
Anonymous? Kla?
Speaker 5 (31:51):
How are you? What's up?
Speaker 4 (31:53):
How are you? I'm a great thank you? What is
your question today?
Speaker 6 (31:57):
So?
Speaker 5 (31:58):
I've been in a relationship with, you know, my man
for nine years now, we got two kids, and he's
still not even entertaining marriage or even thought about it.
Is should I stop wasting my time? Or should I
propose to him and see how I go?
Speaker 3 (32:15):
I wouldn't propose to him because it doesn't feel like,
you know, what he even wants to do when you
bring it up to him, what's his reasoning for not
entertaining it?
Speaker 6 (32:23):
Like?
Speaker 4 (32:23):
What does he say?
Speaker 6 (32:25):
Well?
Speaker 5 (32:25):
Clainly, he's still made to a wife that he had
in the military. Oh, so heeds to get that divorce.
Speaker 4 (32:35):
Yeah, so legally he can't marry you until he handles
that one.
Speaker 5 (32:38):
Hundred and fifty dollars versus all the case and stuff
he got. I just feel like that is not even
there at this point.
Speaker 3 (32:44):
That's crazy because he knows that's important to you. Why
is he not at least getting a divorce.
Speaker 5 (32:49):
Well, it's crazy as me and the ex wife are
actually best friends.
Speaker 2 (32:56):
Maybe that might be part of the problem.
Speaker 3 (32:58):
I'll just say, So what does she say, like, why
why are they not doing this divorce? And if you
guys are best friends, why isn't she like filing for it?
What's what's going on?
Speaker 5 (33:07):
She hold now because she thinks he should have to
pay for it, and he thinks she has to have
to pay for it. And she asked me, before we've
become friends, will you pay for the divorce?
Speaker 6 (33:18):
No?
Speaker 5 (33:19):
When I ain't paying for none of that. I didn't
marry you, I ain't divorcing you.
Speaker 3 (33:22):
I'd have made his Christmas gift me paying for the
divorce marry Christmas.
Speaker 4 (33:30):
How much? How much is a divorce for people? Listening, like,
what how much does it cost a couple hundred?
Speaker 5 (33:35):
One hundred and fifty bucks?
Speaker 3 (33:38):
Okay, now hold on, you're ready to propose to this man,
but you don't want to pay one hundred and fifty dollars? No,
because I ain't married her, and and he doesn't want
to pay one hundred and fifty and she doesn't.
Speaker 4 (33:48):
This sounds like excuses.
Speaker 5 (33:50):
I mean, that's why I'm matt will it.
Speaker 3 (33:52):
It feels like he doesn't want to get married. Therefore
he's staying married so that he doesn't even have to
entertain this because one hundred and fifty all of that.
There's something weird going on in that situation, and the
fact that his ex wife, I mean, well, that his
wife isn't also wanting to fall because what does she
want to move on with her life?
Speaker 4 (34:09):
Is she dating anybody?
Speaker 5 (34:11):
Not that I know she's not.
Speaker 4 (34:13):
It feels like there's something more going on here.
Speaker 2 (34:15):
He's still kind of connected to both women. Yeah, in
a major way.
Speaker 4 (34:19):
So now what happens next is up to you.
Speaker 2 (34:22):
She got to be prepared to leave.
Speaker 4 (34:23):
Yeah, Yeah, what happens next is on you.
Speaker 3 (34:25):
If it's important for you for you to marry him
or for him to get this divorce from his his wife,
then you have to make a move because clearly he's.
Speaker 5 (34:33):
Not so for the divorce. And then at that point, no,
it's not optionalities.
Speaker 3 (34:40):
It's either give him that ultimatum and really follow through
and leave him, or he pays for that. He has
to pay for you still shouldn't be paying for his divorce,
you right or that? Yeah, that's his divorce. Like you said,
it's one hundred and fifty dollars. If he can't come
up with that, then that's not the person for you.
You definitely should not propose to him. But you know
and your gut that something is going on, and you
(35:02):
also know now what you do is your move.
Speaker 4 (35:06):
It's your move.
Speaker 3 (35:07):
You can't control what these people do, but you can't
control your own destiny and what you do. Yeah, if
this is not serving you and you're not happy and
your kids have to grow up and see this, and
you're not getting what you want, then this is not
the relationship for you. You can't lay down for him
and give him everything that he wants, but you're not
getting what you want.
Speaker 5 (35:25):
I appreciate y'all's advice to really help quick things up.
Speaker 3 (35:29):
All right, Well, I really I'm hoping that everything works
out for you. You know, we pray up here, so
we're praying for you. And definitely call back in and
check in with us and let us know what happened.
Speaker 5 (35:39):
I will do, and I appreciate y'all. Y'all have a
good rest of the day. I love listening to y'all.
Speaker 4 (35:43):
All right, thank you you too.
Speaker 3 (35:44):
All right, Well that was ask ye And when we
come back, you got to hear some Elliott Wilson advice.
But now you get to hear some of Elliott Wilson's backstory. Okay,
you've seen him on the block, antics, antics, you've seen
him going back and forth. You've seen a lot of
other people comment on him, myself Joe Button talking about it.
I see, yeah, I see a lot of people saying
what Elliott Wilson should and should Spicy Elli.
Speaker 2 (36:05):
They called me spicy Elli.
Speaker 3 (36:06):
That's what does it doesn't feel Elliott Caliente now here
from the man, the myth, the legend himself.
Speaker 4 (36:13):
It's way up Elliott Wilson.
Speaker 2 (36:15):
Next, Yeah, yeah, more way up with Angela on now.
Speaker 4 (36:21):
Is what happens?
Speaker 3 (36:23):
Way you put Angela, yee, I'm Angela yee, and Elliott
Wilson is here with me. Yeah is Nicki Minaj calls
you idiot Wilson. And I wanted to make sure though
that we respect Elliott Wilson as far as his background
and where he came from.
Speaker 4 (36:36):
And also the fact that you're in the news to
this day.
Speaker 2 (36:39):
Oh man, I got to get out the news man.
Speaker 4 (36:41):
For your opinions.
Speaker 3 (36:42):
But I also saw, well, first of all, your birthday
is coming up, so happy early goat birthday.
Speaker 2 (36:46):
Thank you.
Speaker 4 (36:48):
Capricorn season.
Speaker 3 (36:50):
So now for Elliott, people who don't know right where
would you say the Elliott Wilson story began as far as.
Speaker 1 (36:55):
Journalism early nineties and a source era than ex Excel,
then a rap radar.
Speaker 2 (37:01):
You wrap it our podcast right now. So you know
been out here for a.
Speaker 4 (37:04):
Minute, Yeah, you've been out here moving.
Speaker 3 (37:06):
And I saw the other day you posted when you
got fired as editor in chief.
Speaker 2 (37:12):
I was sixteen years ago.
Speaker 1 (37:13):
That was a big day in the hip hop media
when people used to buy magazines that day.
Speaker 4 (37:19):
And did a lot of people reach out to you?
Speaker 3 (37:20):
Do you feel like because journalism can sometimes be a
thankless job.
Speaker 1 (37:25):
Yeah, And I was viewed as being like the top
editor and the top of the mountain like house, it's
not going to get fired, And then.
Speaker 4 (37:31):
Why did you get fired?
Speaker 1 (37:33):
It was the first time advertising was down. It was
the first time advertising was down, like the whole hip
hop clothing line stuff was there, and I was due
for another big increase, and I just felt like it
felt like, well, if we cut the big guy down,
we can save some money and they could kind of
move on without me because I kind of built ourselves
being the one in the marketplace. So it just came
down the money in business at the end of the day.
Speaker 3 (37:51):
And so seeing that everything was moving towards the internet,
rap Radar started.
Speaker 1 (37:55):
Yeah, he was a big part of that in the beginning,
and he supported us a lot. Come to the office
bother us I would take over our website.
Speaker 4 (38:03):
So rad Braider that was you and Paul Rosenberg had
a hand in that.
Speaker 1 (38:06):
Yes, pauls my partner, business partner, and then we hired
the incredible Brian Beatot Miller and me and beat Out
pretty much built the site.
Speaker 2 (38:12):
From two thousand and nine on.
Speaker 4 (38:14):
And so now then you guys had the podcast as well.
Speaker 2 (38:17):
Yes, and my credit beat Out.
Speaker 1 (38:18):
Beat Out was the one that saying we should do
a podcast, and at first I was like, I don't
know combat Jack.
Speaker 2 (38:23):
I'm cool with him. I don't want look like I'm
trying to be in his lane.
Speaker 1 (38:25):
But then beat Out was adamant about we should do
a podcast, and he finally convinced me.
Speaker 2 (38:29):
So a lot of credit goes to beat Us.
Speaker 4 (38:31):
And in addition to that, most recently you've been in
the news for some controversial things. So I want to
get your take.
Speaker 3 (38:36):
On it, because you did have some things to say
about Nicki Minaja's interview her live stream with Kaya Sinatta.
Speaker 1 (38:42):
Yeah, I put a picture up and I wrote hip
Hop Journalism. I have this bad habit of calling things
out when I don't feel like there's a balance where,
you know, people don't feel like they have.
Speaker 2 (38:49):
To go to traditional media anymore.
Speaker 1 (38:51):
They're going to go to these streamers because they have
huge audiences and don't really want to have to sit
down for like a real formal interview.
Speaker 2 (38:56):
So sometimes I get a little in my defensive bag
where I don't get the interview.
Speaker 1 (39:00):
I thought I was gonna get another Nicki Minaj crown,
so I put that up and I wrote hip Hop journalism,
and everybody went crazy on the internet. And I eventually
apologized to Ky because you know, I didn't like the
optics of it like his mother and you know, if
you watch the stream, his mother and his sister are
big fans of her, and it was a real genuine
moment there and I kind of stepped on that. So
I was wrong for that, and I saw her mother
(39:20):
on Twitter and stuff kind of getting at me a
little bit, and I was like, you know what, Oh
the young apology, you know, in the family apology, you know,
but you know that's just pretty much was, you know,
just me kind of feeling like I lost out in
the interview and catching my films a little bit.
Speaker 3 (39:33):
Nick Iss, like, I did give you a crown before Elliott,
and if you would have reached out to the team,
did reach out to the team, and Nikki as building
his false narrative that I've said negative things about her,
that I've done that I've retweeted things about her negative.
Speaker 1 (39:45):
I've said nothing negative about her. I've said she's the
greatest female rapper of all time. I've said I've give
him more praise than anybody else. I think she's the greatest,
above everybody that came before her. I also did support
Cardi B. And I feel like you're not allowed to
support Cardi B and Nicki Minaj at the same time.
Speaker 4 (39:59):
It can't coexist. It can't coexist and your support.
Speaker 1 (40:01):
But I do think still like, you know, because I said, also,
Nicki's the gold and Carti's the best right now, But
I feel like Nicky's kind of reclaimed the best right
now crown to me because I liked a new album
a lot.
Speaker 2 (40:11):
I think it's one of the best albums last year.
Speaker 1 (40:13):
She definitely puts up the numbers. Yeah, so I think
she's the gold and she's the best in female rap.
But you know, it was crazy that, you know, the
posy with Kyle Win so nuts. But I never seen
a rapper go so crazy on the journalist like she
went on me like four minutes on the indre Where's
my protection?
Speaker 2 (40:27):
Man?
Speaker 4 (40:27):
Did you feel when that happened to second?
Speaker 2 (40:30):
Was funny?
Speaker 4 (40:30):
Didn't hurt your feelings?
Speaker 2 (40:31):
I was shot.
Speaker 1 (40:32):
I was scared of what she was going to say next.
I'm watching it like a horror film. I'm like, I
don't know what's going on.
Speaker 4 (40:36):
Something to say about your laugh?
Speaker 2 (40:38):
Yeah, the laugh? She don't like my laugh? Yeah, I
thought she liked my laugh.
Speaker 4 (40:42):
All right. She also called you idiot Wilson, which I love.
By the way, I don't think you know.
Speaker 1 (40:45):
I was saying, I don't think anyone's ever called me
idiot Wilson. I got Elliott smelly it a lot as
a kid. He called me smelly at first, but she
told me to pop something I won't even say because
when I on lift service, he.
Speaker 2 (40:58):
Know, I didn't know what that was.
Speaker 3 (40:59):
You should have called not to go look it up,
like ell it's gonna be joining us until Thursday, so
we'll have some more maybe Wilson.
Speaker 1 (41:06):
Moments fifty jumped in, so it's like from what sid
queens there from the south Side. I felt like south Side.
Speaker 2 (41:11):
Queens jumped me and stuff. Man, what sac queens took
the hell?
Speaker 4 (41:15):
All right?
Speaker 3 (41:15):
Well, look, and I like how you took it all
in stride though, and I think that's all you can do.
Speaker 1 (41:19):
Yeah, absolutely, because I I have great respect for Nikki.
I don't want no problems with Nikki again. I think
I know, I know how great she is, and the
bar we can resolve it. The Bobs are vicious. I
love y'all, and I still only want that brought them
to the Bobs I'm the only one that brought your
hero to you like I did two live Crown events
in front of the barbs and faced you guys face
to face. No one else has ever done that. Hopefully
one day we could do it again third times a charm.
Speaker 3 (41:41):
I don't know it's over for you, all right, all right,
all right, And when we come back, like we said,
Elliott will be here till Thursday. But of course you
guys get to have the last word when we come back.
Eight hundred and two, nine fifty slay.
Speaker 11 (41:55):
Up, pack up the phone, Tampion and gets your voice
hurd with the word bitch.
Speaker 4 (42:01):
He is the last word on Way Up with Angela Ye,
what's up?
Speaker 3 (42:05):
His Way up with Angela Yee? I'm Angela Yee. And
Elliott Willison Yes.
Speaker 2 (42:09):
Idiot Wilson, I survived.
Speaker 3 (42:10):
Thank you for joining me today, and you'll be back
tomorrow and Thursday as well.
Speaker 2 (42:14):
So great, thank you.
Speaker 4 (42:15):
You ready to move back to New York, Hey man,
We'll see how it goes.
Speaker 3 (42:20):
Listen, Elliott and I have known each other for quite
some time, so we have a good report.
Speaker 4 (42:24):
Plus with both.
Speaker 1 (42:25):
Capricorns Capricorns Season two and my Birthday Sunday, I'm excited.
Speaker 4 (42:28):
Plus we both been attacked by the barbs, and I.
Speaker 2 (42:30):
Was saying, that's survivors.
Speaker 4 (42:32):
You have not yet the barbs. We need a T shirt.
Speaker 3 (42:37):
But yeah, so and I was saying, you haven't really
made it in this business until the barbs come for you. Absolutely,
and you handled it very well. So thank you for
being so open and honest about those things. I feel
like while you're here the next couple of days, too,
we should highlight a couple of rap radar moments.
Speaker 2 (42:51):
Do it be out? I love that, I will love
that young Brian Mila.
Speaker 4 (42:56):
Brian Mala.
Speaker 3 (42:57):
All right, well again, Elliott will be back tomorrow. By
As you know, you guys are the real stars of
the show and we always let you end it with
the last word.
Speaker 1 (43:05):
I would like to show the light on my daughter,
I Wright.
Speaker 4 (43:07):
To Squarborn, who is a single mom.
Speaker 6 (43:11):
She's in school, she's.
Speaker 5 (43:12):
Working, and in a process of graduating from her doctors.
She's just made thirty years old and she is just
doing it and I just want her to note that her.
Speaker 2 (43:21):
Mother is proud of her.
Speaker 12 (43:24):
Hey, it's from Mobile, Alabama. Who wanted to send the
light on you, my favorite Capricorn. Today's my birthday. I
hope my girls are just like you, my oldest daughters
of Capricorn, and I hope the best for everyone. But
to think about it, I just don't want her to
be like you, if that makes sense. You a beautiful soul,
You're an intelligent woman. But yeah, Lee, you're too freaking
for it. Oh Michael, I can't go into words any who.
(43:46):
Hope you have a blessed day and a happy New.
Speaker 4 (43:47):

Speaker 12 (43:48):
All my Capricorns out there going way out with Angela
