I watched all of his specials. I read his book.
I mean, I admire the fact that when he couldn't
get Netflix to give him a special, he went and
paid for everything, filmed it himself produced.

He produces all his own specials and puts on all
his own shows. And actually, the Golden Globes nine point
four million viewers. That's up fifty percent from last year.

had to say about the bad reviews and things like that,

Sparked a lot of controversy because basically it's the portrail
of black folks in Biblical times, which has never really
been done in film. Like we grew up watching like
Ten you know, Ten Commandments and ben her and all
these movies like we don't see ourselves, We don't see
black folks in Biblical times, so.

Like Passion of the Christ.

Yeah, so it's interesting, and you know, they tackle these
tough topics like he did with the West Black folks
in Westerns with the heart of They Fall.

check it out.

And Lakeith Stanfield did an amazing job. He plays himself
and his twin brother.

have appointments you gotta get to. So if this does pass,

huge audiences and don't really want to have to sit

so I put that up and I wrote hip Hop journalism,

optics of it like his mother and you know, if

big fans of her, and it was a real genuine
moment there and I kind of stepped on that. So
I was wrong for that, and I saw her mother

little bit, and I was like, you know what, Oh
the young apology, you know, in the family apology, you know,
but you know that's just pretty much was, you know,
just me kind of feeling like I lost out in
the interview and catching my films a little bit.
