Speaker 1 (00:31):
I delayed my birthday so he could celebrate with me.

By the way, we are celebrating Dan's birthday because you
wanted to make sure he was here for Dream's birthday,
so we pushed his birthday back today.

Speaker 2 (01:38):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:38):
Man, so of course we got to shine light on
Dan today. I know we've probably done this before, but
Dan is the producer of the show. He also produces
lip service, and when I first met him, he was
what was your assistant producer?

Speaker 2 (01:50):
Associate producer?

Speaker 4 (01:51):
Associate producer? Is that same thing as assistant?

Speaker 3 (01:53):
No, what's the difference, you're assistant to the producer.

Speaker 2 (01:57):
Sure, so it is. Dan is the anchor of the show.
Is the foundation.

Speaker 4 (02:05):
Yeah, he's the foundation. He's an anchor.

Speaker 3 (02:09):
Dan cares a lot, Okay, And I think that's important
because it's hard to find out when panics.

Speaker 4 (02:15):
He's always said he has he does panic.

Speaker 3 (02:17):
He's panicking right now that you say panics. Calculated again,
we have a very small staff up here, not even
an intern, and so a lot of the work falls
on him, and we got to assume every single role.
Sometimes we intern up here ourselves for the show, and
so Dan, we do appreciate you for making sure that
you always show up even when I'm not here.

Speaker 4 (02:38):
He has to be here to make sure things run smooth.

Speaker 2 (02:40):
That was Cap. You just put cap off there? What
you for the show?

Speaker 4 (02:44):
I do? I go downstairs, I get food. I gotta do.

Speaker 2 (02:47):
I perform what you know, what you do do that?

Speaker 6 (02:49):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (02:50):
Right, I do a.

Speaker 3 (02:51):
Lot of things that normally we would have somebody help
us do.

Speaker 4 (02:54):
I gotta do it myself. It's fine. I'm not complaining here. Yeah,
I feed you.

Speaker 2 (03:00):
I clean up stuff that I don't want though.

Speaker 3 (03:02):
Yeah, And even like as far as doing research and
coming up with things I have to do. You know,
we do everything ourselves in here.

Speaker 4 (03:08):
Dan does it. I do it, maybe not so much.

Speaker 2 (03:11):
Yeah, he rested.

Speaker 3 (03:14):
The boards and listen, it's already hectic for him. But
who do you guys want.

Speaker 4 (03:17):
To shine a light on?

Speaker 3 (03:18):
Eight hundred two nine two fifty one fifty Matthew, who
do you want to shine a light on?

Speaker 6 (03:23):
I have a business owner to try to light on
what was my business? I opened a salads shopping all
Flatbush Brooklyn, Chopping.

Speaker 3 (03:29):
Bla, okay, that's where I'm from, Flatbush, Brooklyn. What's the
name of it? Chopping blam okay, Chopping Bland.

Speaker 5 (03:35):
Where is it located?

Speaker 7 (03:36):
Six six eight flat?

Speaker 4 (03:38):
All right, I'm gonna stop through. That's a good area too.

Speaker 7 (03:41):
I hope you come through. Come on, bou Chicken soap.

Speaker 4 (03:43):
All right, how long you've been open?

Speaker 7 (03:45):
We've been open for about six months now, all.

Speaker 3 (03:47):
Right, well, congratulations. I'm definitely gonna stop there and shout
out to you for opening your business.

Speaker 4 (03:52):
Thank you so much, see all right, thank you for calling.

Speaker 7 (03:55):
All right, thank you so much.

Speaker 3 (03:58):
All right, but that was shining light, spreading love and
positivity every single day eight hundred two nine two fifty
one fifty in case you couldn't get through and want
to do the same. And when we come back, we
got your yet, and we'll tell you about a reality
star who ended up getting arrested after not reporting to prison.

Speaker 4 (04:13):
It's way yup, yet is next?

Speaker 5 (04:14):
The sas in the rooms from industry Shade to all
of gossips out send Angela's feeling that yet.

Speaker 4 (04:23):
It's way up.

Speaker 3 (04:24):
But Angela yee, I'm Angela Yee. Manos in the building. Yeah,
all right, let's get into some ye eat. So Snoop
Dog was on the Wake and Bake with Doubles Express show.

Speaker 4 (04:35):
And he talked about a lot of different things.

Speaker 3 (04:37):
One of the things that he talked about was potentially
joining only fans.

Speaker 4 (04:42):
He had gotten an offer. Here's what happened.

Speaker 2 (04:44):
They got at me.

Speaker 8 (04:45):
One of one of the little girls was she made
like twenty million on there right there. It was like,
only fans want you to come on there, Snoop, you
can do about a hundred million. All you gotta do
is pulling thing out. I got a black white. Ain't
no way to work. You're gonna allow me to go
on there?

Speaker 2 (05:00):
Pull that thing? Ah, pull that.

Speaker 3 (05:03):
Dang out, no way. Can you imagine his wife would
be like, but you know, you don't have to do that.
You can you could just yeah, Joan, people will think
you're gonna do that, and then they'll pay the subscription
and then you know. Tiger made about twenty million. I'm
a one, and Tiger was doing stuff on there. I
will say that Itzea made forty eight million. She was

(05:24):
the top celebrity earner. You know what, I've never seen
stuff of hers, but I did see some of people
were like ascending it around.

Speaker 4 (05:33):
So there you have it. And Ruby Rose, she said
she did it too, all right. Well.

Speaker 3 (05:38):
Snoop Dogg also talked about turning his his GGN series
into a movie kind of like Anchorman. Here's what else,
he said.

Speaker 8 (05:48):
Has four hundred and some episodes right that I shot
from day one, So I'm just gonna flip it into
a movie on some Anchorman, like the comedy movie with
me playing Nemo.

Speaker 4 (06:01):
All right, I'm here for it.

Speaker 3 (06:03):
It's amazing how Snoop dog think about how young he
was when he first started and where he is now
in the fact that he is still making millions and
millions and millions of dollars and people love all.

Speaker 2 (06:14):
The things brand. That's what a brand is, all right.

Speaker 3 (06:16):
And Snoop's daughter, Corey Brotis, revealed that she suffered a stroke.
She posted on her page, Princess Brotis, I had a
severe stroke this am. I started breaking down crying when
they told me, like, I'm only twenty four. What did
I do in my past to deserve all of this?
So we are praying for her. That is not an
easy thing to have to deal with, all right, British

(06:37):
Williams from Basketball Wives. She ended up having to turn well,
she ended up getting arrested. She did not report to
federal prison. She has a four year sentence and that
was for fraud. It was for more than half a
million dollars. She was supposed to report to federal prison
in West Virginia on January third. Remember she asked to
get everything delayed so she could spend the holidays, you know,
with her daughter. But unfortunately she did not turn herself

(07:00):
in and she ended up getting arrested nine days later.
She pleaded guilty last year to fifteen federal charges tax fraud,
bank fraud, insurance for a pandemic related fraud. All in
on it was about five hundred and sixty four thousand
dollars and she just said, man, I ain't going in.
I guess she just ela you know, I don't know
why she didn't go. They already delayed it for her.
But yeah, we don't know what's going to happen with that.

(07:24):
And that is your yeetee. When we come back, we
have about last night. That's where we discussed things that
we did last night, and I was out and about.

Speaker 4 (07:31):
I'm gonna talk to you guys about it.

Speaker 3 (07:33):
But I also, you know, love watching ninety Day Fiance
and I have something that I want to discuss had
happened on that show. And of course, man and we
know you've been outside working. So about last night when
we come back, it's way up.

Speaker 5 (07:46):
So about last night last night, last night.

Speaker 1 (07:50):
Deza went down.

Speaker 3 (07:51):
It's way ye put Angela yee. I'm Angela yee. Meno's
in the building for about last night? What did you
do last night?

Speaker 2 (07:58):
Mano, I didn't do much.

Speaker 4 (07:59):
Okay, that's a first. Can you need that?

Speaker 2 (08:02):
Yeah? You got it? Got easy.

Speaker 3 (08:04):
Well, I have a lot of multiple students of income
of things that I do outside here. So a couple
of things happened yesterday. Number one, I'm in the real
estate realm. You know, I got my real estate license
right and so my family on my dad's side, they
actually have property. Then when my grandmother passed that everybody
is supposed to share in and so now I don't

(08:25):
know if anybody knows, and I'm sure families can relate
to this. Everybody has different ideas of what they want
to do with the property. Some people want to keep it,
some people want to sell it, you know, So dealing
with that is never an easy situation because I think there's.

Speaker 4 (08:39):
Like a nine of them that have to make a decision.

Speaker 3 (08:42):
And when I was buying a house in Brooklyn, one
of the hardest parts when you have these browns ons,
a lot of times it gets passed down and if
family members are not in agreeance, it's really hard to
get things done. So I was dealing with that. Then
I also have my coffee Coffee Uplifts people, and I
had am eating at a new restaurant in Brooklyn that's
actually going to be opening next week, and so I

(09:04):
was meeting with the owner shout out to Aliyah about
coffee Uplifts people. And we have tea also Tea by Cup,
and so we were handling those things to support this. Yes,
wey not t by E because it's for Coffee Uplifts people.
We sell it in the shop and we use the
same logo and all of that. So I like things
to exist outside of me, so I don't like to

(09:27):
put my name on things. But and then aside from that,
when I finally made it home last night, I was
catching up a ninety day fiance. Now, one of the
couples on there that I watch, I think it's Sam.

Speaker 4 (09:40):
Is that his name Sam? Yes? Sam.

Speaker 3 (09:42):
He and his fiance are planning this wedding, but she
wants him. The only way she can marry him is
if he converts to Islam and her family will not
accept him. I think she's from Indonesia, if I'm not mistaken.
And so here is what happened on the show when
he told his family about it.

Speaker 9 (10:01):
When her dad gets here, me and him are going
to go into a moss for me to convert.

Speaker 1 (10:06):
What are you talking about?

Speaker 10 (10:07):
Do you feel you should have to convert to someone else's.

Speaker 4 (10:11):
Religion just to marry you?

Speaker 3 (10:12):
Well, she it's not like she's forcing me, right, So
the only way And now his family has a lot
of issues with him converting.

Speaker 4 (10:20):
And he's an atheist by the way.

Speaker 2 (10:22):
So that's not bad. He don't have a religion, but.

Speaker 4 (10:25):
He has to go to the mosque.

Speaker 2 (10:26):
And let's type of love.

Speaker 4 (10:27):
I want what you want to convert.

Speaker 2 (10:29):
I want to convert it like I want to be
in a cult.

Speaker 3 (10:31):
Yeah, well, we want to see what you guys would
do if you we're in love with somebody and the
only way that you could get married is if you
converted to their religion.

Speaker 4 (10:39):
Are you open to doing that? Or have you had
to do that?

Speaker 2 (10:42):
Yeah? That's a strong love right there, you broker.

Speaker 3 (10:45):
Actually, yeah, she converted to Judaism for her husband, so
she's Jewish now because she wanted to get married. But
eight hundred and two ninety two fifty one fifty if
that was a conversation, only what we can get married
is if you convert to my religion.

Speaker 4 (10:59):
Are you open to that? Is way up.

Speaker 5 (11:03):
It's not just right or wrong. It's about what you believe.
It's time to pick aside and stay there.

Speaker 3 (11:10):
All right, it's way up with Angela Ye, I'm Angela ye.
Mano's in the building. Yeah, and we're talking about ninety
day fiance Sam Wilson and his fiance Citra have revealed
that Sam is going to convert to Islam before marrying Citra.

Speaker 4 (11:25):
Now his family is concerned.

Speaker 3 (11:27):
They're a Christian family and they have issues with his conversion.

Speaker 4 (11:31):
We want to see what you guys think.

Speaker 3 (11:32):
Would you switch convert religions for your significant other?

Speaker 2 (11:37):
Mayo, I want the type of love that I want
to convert. Make me a believer of baby.

Speaker 3 (11:42):
I would only do it if I studied the other
person's religion and felt like I would be okay with it,
So it would have to.

Speaker 2 (11:49):
Be a real personal yes whatever with me.

Speaker 4 (11:52):
You're like, I'm in it.

Speaker 11 (11:53):
I'm just saying like, if it's that good and that's
the type of love, I want that love to be
so strong that I'm a whole nother of ill shave
my head like I'm a monk.

Speaker 4 (12:02):
Like whatever, get on your knees, and yeah.

Speaker 2 (12:05):
My knees not book I'm talking about.

Speaker 3 (12:07):
Okay, all right, now, Dan, who is our producer whose
birthday is celebrating today but was yesterday. Dan is actually
experiencing something like this you want to.

Speaker 12 (12:17):
Share I'm going through right now. So my fiance is Pakistani.
She's Muslim, and when we first started talking, she made
it kind of clear that it was just like listen,
like this is like a deal breaker, Like my family
pretty much wouldn't accept me into the family if I
didn't convert to Islam. And you know, the more I
got to know her, she never put any pressure on
me about it or anything, but the more I got

(12:37):
to know her, I was like, Okay, I'm cool with it.
I am not a religious person. I grew up Jewish
but not religious. And basically, like part of that conversation
I had with her was I don't mind doing it.
I don't want to take that, like I don't want
to take away the important things of Judaism that I
grew up with away from my children. So like the
couple holidays that was like really close with my family,

(13:00):
whether it was like Hanika Russiashana Young Kipoor like those
we celebrate. So that's something I never want to take
away from myself or my children. She was like, yeah,
of course, Like that's not even like a conversation.

Speaker 3 (13:10):
So to me, very religious, not really, yes, but no okay.

Speaker 4 (13:14):
And what about your family? What do they think?

Speaker 1 (13:17):
They don't know yet?

Speaker 3 (13:18):
Okay, well today they do they right now, all right?
And when you told her that you were willing to convert,
what did she say?

Speaker 12 (13:30):
It was so excited, okay, because she was concerned about it,
I mean understandably so.

Speaker 2 (13:34):
So she told you as soon as you'all met.

Speaker 12 (13:36):
Not as soon, but once things got serious alone, before
they got serious.

Speaker 1 (13:40):
Probably like six seven months.

Speaker 4 (13:41):
How long is this conversion taking.

Speaker 2 (13:44):
It's quick.

Speaker 12 (13:44):
It's not like I have to go to school and
study or anything. It's really just me reading a prayer
at a mosque.

Speaker 4 (13:50):
And when do you do that?

Speaker 1 (13:51):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (13:52):
Okay, closer to the wedding, so next year.

Speaker 3 (13:54):
All right, Well let's see what you guys think about this.
Would you convert your religion for your significant other? Eight
hundred two fifty Pam, how are you?

Speaker 13 (14:03):
I'm great?

Speaker 2 (14:03):
How are you?

Speaker 4 (14:04):
I'm good? Thank you.

Speaker 3 (14:05):
It's me and man and we want to know would
you convert to your significant other's religion to get married?

Speaker 7 (14:11):
I wouldn't.

Speaker 14 (14:12):
I was married and during a couple of years into
my marriage, my husband converted to another religion and he
wanted me to do the same. He expected me to
do the same.

Speaker 6 (14:22):
But I could not do that.

Speaker 2 (14:24):
What was the religion?

Speaker 14 (14:25):
It was Islam.

Speaker 4 (14:26):
So that was the end of your relationship.

Speaker 14 (14:28):
Well, that amongst one of the other things, but that
was I think where it started to come a luc Yeah.

Speaker 2 (14:35):
Broke up.

Speaker 3 (14:36):
We did, yeah, but not just for that, but that
was one of the things. Well, thank you for Colin.
I'm sorry that didn't work out.

Speaker 13 (14:42):
It's okay.

Speaker 14 (14:43):
We're friends and we have three beautiful children that we
raised together. I never call it on a radio station.
But this was something I felt passionate about. Oh, I
just wanted to say love is accept that.

Speaker 4 (14:54):
All right, Well, thank you for Colin.

Speaker 14 (14:56):
You're welcome.

Speaker 7 (14:57):
Bye.

Speaker 13 (14:57):
Hey David, how are you?

Speaker 7 (15:00):
How you doing?

Speaker 4 (15:00):
I'm good?

Speaker 3 (15:01):
Me and Mano are here and MANA wants to change religion.
He wants that type of love. Would you switch your
religion for your significant other?

Speaker 7 (15:08):
Actually I would. Actually I'll watched the Man with my wife.

Speaker 4 (15:11):
I know that's right.

Speaker 7 (15:12):
I mean personally, if you have a person enough to
convert to their religion, then I think I'm for it.
I mean people do things for love, so why not?

Speaker 2 (15:19):
It's right?

Speaker 4 (15:20):
Thank you so much for Colin.

Speaker 7 (15:22):
All right, you'll have a good.

Speaker 4 (15:23):
Hey, Desiree, how are you? I'm good yourself. I'm good
than listening for your show. Thank you. I appreciate that.
The answer is hell and dragged.

Speaker 2 (15:34):
No, if you was with me, you're gonna change that religion? Yes,
you is.

Speaker 4 (15:39):
Listen, I love your death.

Speaker 13 (15:41):
You know I'm not.

Speaker 3 (15:43):
Yeah, Well, so now did you have it? Did somebody
try to get you to change your religion before they had?

Speaker 13 (15:48):
But they know that I'm a religion.

Speaker 3 (15:50):
I'm not playing what what are you I'm a Christian, okay,
you're a Christian.

Speaker 4 (15:55):
Would you date outside of your religion? Are you? Okay?
If somebody is you do that?

Speaker 2 (16:01):
See you plan, you plan?

Speaker 11 (16:03):
If you was dating me, you already know you're gonna
be playing five times a day.

Speaker 7 (16:06):
Baby, I'm good.

Speaker 2 (16:07):
She's good.

Speaker 3 (16:08):
Okay, I mean listen, religion is very important to some people.
They always say, do not argue over religion and politics.

Speaker 6 (16:14):
I have a relationship with God.

Speaker 10 (16:15):
So now, okay, thank you, and she got but no,
you're gonna change for me, baby, she said no, yeah,
all right.

Speaker 4 (16:26):
Well that is you guys weighing in.

Speaker 3 (16:28):
And if you couldn't get through eight hundred two nine
two fifty one fifty, you can always leave a message
and still make it on the show. For last word,
when we come back, we have your yee tea, and
let's talk.

Speaker 4 (16:38):
About Marlon Wayans.

Speaker 3 (16:39):
Now recently he was on the Cruise Show and he
had some things to say about black men in Hollywood
wearing dresses.

Speaker 4 (16:46):
It's way up.

Speaker 5 (16:47):
Sure, she's about to blow the lead ab off this spot.

Speaker 1 (16:49):
Let's get it.

Speaker 5 (16:50):
Oh, Angela's feeling that.

Speaker 4 (16:51):
Yee te Come and get the tea. It's way up.

Speaker 3 (16:54):
With Angela Yee. I'm Angela Yee manos in the building. No,
it's time for some ye tea. I feel like we're
still having some conversation some ath to birth from the
Kat Williams Club Schaha interview. Of course, Marlon Waias was
on The Cruise Show and he talked about black men
in Hollywood wearing dresses.

Speaker 4 (17:14):
Here's what he had to say.

Speaker 11 (17:16):
It's a negative thing that is only in black people.
When Robert Williams puts on a dress and it's Missus Doubtfire,
he gets nominated for an That whole thing about you know,
you put on a dress and you're selling up.

Speaker 2 (17:30):
That is not an artist's mindset.

Speaker 4 (17:34):
People love white chicks, to be clear.

Speaker 2 (17:37):
Love black men in dresses.

Speaker 3 (17:39):
But he was really a white man in that movie
in a dress. Well no, I'm kidding. I was trying
to excuse me, but yeah, I mean this has been
an ongoing conversation. Yes, but and he he compared it
to Missus Doutfire. Did people have an issue with that?

Speaker 2 (17:55):
Didn't get nominated for anything?

Speaker 15 (17:56):
Now?

Speaker 3 (17:57):
Oh white chicks did? Oh yeah, no, that's.

Speaker 2 (18:00):
What he was saying.

Speaker 4 (18:01):
Yeah, this white man in address, what do you think
about that.

Speaker 2 (18:05):
I'm not with it.

Speaker 3 (18:07):
I do agree with Marlon Wayne's as far as art
is art. That's the movie that they wrote, that they
conceived and that they came up with. And so he
was that toutsie. That was kind of the whole premise,
you know of that movie.

Speaker 11 (18:21):
What's different, it's different on that side. We're doing it
and still not getting nothing.

Speaker 3 (18:28):
You said, still not getting nothing? You mean nominated for award.
It's right, okay, all right now. Rod Wave was on live.
We would love to play this for you, but there's
a lot of curses so.

Speaker 4 (18:38):
We couldn't really.

Speaker 3 (18:39):
But he said that what inspired him to pursue music
was NBA Young Boy. He said, one of the girls
he used to mess with was in love with NBA
Young Boy. He was like seventeen, and he said, I
remember she was just so effed up about bro and
I used to be in my living room watching his
videos and I used to be like, damn, he's turned up.
So I tried to turn it up and he said,
and now we're here, It's crazy how much he just

(19:01):
took and used it, he said, But that's what made
it serious, seeing that his girl at the time when
he was seventeen was in love with NBA young boy
and he was like, I'm doing music.

Speaker 2 (19:09):
Wow.

Speaker 3 (19:10):
See she influenced him. Maybe do you think you owe
her a check?

Speaker 2 (19:14):
She might should be able to get some this. She
should get a little finest fee.

Speaker 4 (19:18):
All right?

Speaker 3 (19:18):
And Love is Blind Season six. You know I watched
this show faithfully. The cast photos have dropped ahead of
the premiere of the new season. Love Is Blind is
premiering on Valentine's Day, February fourteenth, and then there's gonna
be batches of episodes every Wednesday. So episodes one to
six will drop on the first week, and then episode
seven to nine second week, and then after that that'll

(19:41):
continue on like that. The final episode will be on
March sixth. Do you watch Love Is Blind? No, I'm
looking at this cast. Though it looks like a this
is gonna be a good season. There was a lot
of controversy I feel like the last season, and so
I think they got to get it right this time around.

Speaker 2 (19:57):
It right.

Speaker 4 (19:57):
But that is your yute. When we come back. We
have the radar.

Speaker 3 (20:00):
These are the stories that are not necessarily in the headlines.
They're flying under the radar. One of them is about
a good idea to make some fast money is way up.

Speaker 5 (20:10):
Pick the news, news, this in the news that relates
to you these storikay.

Speaker 4 (20:15):
Or make some money. Now, let's talk about Applebee's.

Speaker 3 (20:18):
They're offering a year's worth of weekly date night passes.
So imagine this, right, you can actually go and have
a weekly date night at participating Applebee's restaurants nationwide. You
get a thirty dollars discount on food and non alcoholic beverages.

Speaker 4 (20:34):
You still got to buy drinks.

Speaker 2 (20:35):
Oh if you want an drink.

Speaker 4 (20:37):
And you can only use the past for hour period.

Speaker 11 (20:40):
Really, I know you want to go to Fleet, baby,
but you go on to apple Bee's this week.

Speaker 2 (20:44):
I'm letting you. Oh no, you go to apple Bee's.

Speaker 4 (20:47):
But the pass is two hundred dollars.

Speaker 3 (20:50):
So that's thirty dollars worth of food per week for
a whole year.

Speaker 2 (20:54):
Oh oh, we go to We have apple Bee's all week, baby.

Speaker 3 (20:57):
Stood up, that's a good deal. I'm not gonna imagine
if you live right by apple Bee's and once a
week we look like yo, let's plan it. Once a week,
no matter if we met at each other or not,
we go on to apple beas.

Speaker 2 (21:08):
Now I'm telling all my fees.

Speaker 11 (21:09):
We go on apple Bee's and know you want STK,
I know you want to go to Catch I know
you want all that.

Speaker 2 (21:13):
You know that's that's where we usually go. But you
go on to apple Bee's this week.

Speaker 4 (21:17):
I'm not mad at it.

Speaker 3 (21:17):
Apple Bee's is not. They have this oriental chicken salad
that I enjoy. The deal two hundred dollars all right, now,
another way that we're going to help you when it
comes to money. On TikTok, right, they're talking about what
personal shoppers are doing. And what they're doing is they're
going to tj Max, to Ross, to Marshalls, to discount

(21:39):
stores like that, and they're streaming live on TikTok and
they're shopping for people.

Speaker 4 (21:44):
So they pick up something.

Speaker 3 (21:46):
If you like it and you want it, they buy
it and they'll get it for you, and then they charge.

Speaker 4 (21:50):
You a fee.

Speaker 3 (21:50):
So it could be ten dollars, twenty dollars or whatever
for them to pick up this item and then ship
it to you. And so here's an example of that.
On TikTok.

Speaker 16 (21:57):
These people go shopping at Rosh, Tijimax, Marshals and they
shop for people. They make a full time job out
of this. Say someone wants this juicy bag twenty seven
nine plus my ten dollars finder's fee plus I'll tell
you later what shipping is, which is probably another ten dollars.
I mean, these people are at least making fifty dollars

(22:19):
an hour, but most of them are making like two
hundred dollars an hour.

Speaker 4 (22:23):
That's you know, you go in, you shop, go stream live.

Speaker 3 (22:26):
People see you pick some things up that's on sale
and they're like, I want that, and then they send
them money and you buy it, and then you get
a fee for picking up those purchases. I feel like,
imagine if you went to the outlets, okay, and the
outlets where they have stores like Pradat'll talk about see Botaga,

(22:49):
they got Valentino, they have all of those stores at
the outlet. Imagine you went and did that and you
can up that finders fee. I'm thinking, yeah, because I
need some money right now. All right, Well that is
you're under the radar. You know, we got the Way
Up Mix at the top of the hour, and our
guy Rob four nine is going to be joining us today.
I know that's your boy, Mano. Yeah, yeah, so he

(23:09):
can't wait to see you. He was telling me, all right,
so we'll be talking to him.

Speaker 4 (23:12):
It's way up.

Speaker 3 (23:14):
She's like to talk like they Angela Jean like they
Angela Jean.

Speaker 7 (23:18):
Man.

Speaker 5 (23:18):
She's spilling it all. This is Yati way up.

Speaker 3 (23:23):
It's way up at Angela Yee. I'm Angela ye manos
here new mana new may Now yeah, let's get into
some yet. According to reports, TMZ says that the sources
told them that Kanye has filmed a forty minute apology
video over his anti Semitism remarks. They said he was
rambling and at times it was impossible to decode what

(23:46):
he was saying. Sources say whatever was shot is supposed
to be released sometime ahead of his new album Vultures,
which is now coming off February ninth. We told you guys,
it got pushed back after several delays.

Speaker 2 (23:58):
So I can't wait to see that.

Speaker 3 (23:59):
It'll be interesting and people feel like it's not sincere.
People feel like he's doing this ahead of his album
coming out. Some people are saying that it's AI.

Speaker 2 (24:09):
But it's a video though, But it's a video. I
don't know if they could pull that all.

Speaker 3 (24:13):
They could could, Yeah, they could it just I don't know.

Speaker 4 (24:16):
It depends, but we'll see what it is once it
really comes.

Speaker 2 (24:20):
I want to see someone comes out.

Speaker 4 (24:21):
Yeah, all right.

Speaker 3 (24:22):
In FBG Ducks six, all Black gang members, have been
found guilty of his murder. He was shot and killed
in August of twenty twenty while shopping in Chicago's Gold
Coast neighborhood, and his girlfriend and another person was also
wounded in the attack, and his mother, Luciena Weekly, celebrated
the verdict with friends and family yesterday and wrote on

(24:43):
her Instagram story is guilty. All the ass is guilty.
So I know she feels relieved to have some type
of closure. I'm sure, even though that's one of the
most awful things that could happen to a person.

Speaker 4 (24:55):
All right.

Speaker 3 (24:56):
Peacock has announced a three part docu series featuring Never
Before I Told Stories and archival footage of Run DMC's
rise to fame, and that actually premieres on Peacock Thursday,
February First Kings from Queens the Run DMC story.

Speaker 2 (25:12):
Yeah, I love Run DMC.

Speaker 4 (25:15):
I know I think Red RN is gonna come up
here too. He loves you.

Speaker 3 (25:18):
Yeah, I love them, man, man, I ran into him
and he was like, tell my guy, mano, I said,
what's up?

Speaker 2 (25:24):
So that's an I wanted to be run like that
was he was the guy.

Speaker 11 (25:28):
Like Run was the coolest, fliest, dopest, like one was
the guy.

Speaker 4 (25:33):
And he still is right, He's still so cool, all right.

Speaker 3 (25:36):
Dojah CAAT's brother is accused of knocking her teeth out
and abusing their mother. In a restraining order request, Dojah
CAAT's mother, Deborah Elizabeth Sawyer, is trying to get that
restraining order against her own son and also wants Doja
Cat to get protection from him as well. They're alleging
that her thirty year old brother, Raman Dali Thando Dalamani,

(25:57):
has abused them and that she's had her teeth knocked
out and gotten cuts and bruises from his physical abuse.
And he's also accused of stealing and destroying property belonging
to Doja Cat, being very degrading and demanding verbally, and
leaving her feeling unsafe and traumatized. So she has not
spoken out about this, but this is the first I'm

(26:18):
hearing of such a thing, all right, And Josh Giddy
is not going to face charges over allegations of an
inappropriate relationship with an underaged girl. According to the Newport
Beach Police Department. They said that case is officially closed.
If you guys would call this story twenty one years old,
the guard for the Oklahoma City Thunder and people were
saying that he had an inappropriate relationship with an underage girl.

(26:41):
Will nobody is coming forward. Oklahoma's age of consent is sixteen.
It's unknown how old the girl was at the time
that she posted a photo and wrote just ft Josh giddy.
But they're saying nobody's talking, so there's nobody that can
corroborate any of this, all right, And The Color Purple
is going to be releasing on digital on four K
Blu Ray with hours of special features. That's going to

(27:03):
be coming out on digital platforms on Prime Video and
Apple TV, and then releasing on March twelfth on four
K DVD and Blu Ray as well, So get ready
for that. And Taraji also told Today dot Com that
she feels like her comments about her experience with paid
disparity in Hollywood has kind of overshadowed the movie, and

(27:26):
she feels it's not fair that that narrative has turned
away from the Color purple and instead to those comments.
All right, well that is your ut and when we
come back, I am here with my award winning advice
giver Maino, and we have asked yee on the way.
Eight hundred two nine two fifty one fifty year is
a number. Call us up any question you have. We
are here to help you, help you out again. That's
eight hundred two nine two fifty one fifty is way up.

Speaker 5 (27:48):
But it's relationship with career advice. Angelo's dropping facts.

Speaker 4 (27:52):
This is as gee, what's up? His way up with
Angela Yee. I'm Angela Yee and my guy.

Speaker 3 (27:58):
The award winning advice giver a Mana, was in the
building and a plan to ask ye. Eight hundred two
nine fifty one fifty is a number for any question
that you might have. Now we have someone on the
line right now. Hello is this Hey Lisa? What's your
question for me?

Speaker 4 (28:13):
And Mano?

Speaker 13 (28:14):
So I recently kind of like started talking to my
sister again after a little while, and like I actually
started staying with her for a while, and I heard
her boyfriend kind of coming late one night, and I
think that something might be going on, But I don't
know if I should tell her or not, so because
I don't have proof of it. Well, I get a
feeling I get And he made an comment to me

(28:36):
about why he was out late, because I think he
knows I heard him coming late, so it's kind of
like confirmed it.

Speaker 4 (28:43):
So what did he say?

Speaker 13 (28:44):
He said he was out all night one night at
a poker game or something. Okay, just a comment to
me out of the group.

Speaker 3 (28:51):
Well, first of all, you don't have any proof of
anything you said. It's just a feeling you have. And
we can't play with people's marriages by saying I have
a feeling X, Y and Z. And you also don't
know what they go through personally, if there's things that
she's addressed him about or understandings that they have. So
with no proof of anything, I don't think that's when

(29:12):
you go to somebody.

Speaker 2 (29:13):
You know what you gotta do. No, I'm serious. You
got an m YB.

Speaker 13 (29:18):
Yeah, but that's coming from a man's perspective. Didn't want
to ask me.

Speaker 11 (29:23):
Yeah, but what I'm saying you got an m YB though, Babby, Like,
because you don't have no proof, you can't just go
with somebody and be like, I think, Oh, I got
a feeling.

Speaker 3 (29:30):
It'd be one thing if you saw him doing something,
then I would feel a responsibility to tell my sister.

Speaker 4 (29:35):
But having a feeling, And where was she when he
came home late?

Speaker 13 (29:38):
She was homeping, But I can hear different because of
where my room is, and I heard him like coming
reallyate and then be in the bathroom like cleaning up
or something.

Speaker 3 (29:49):
Okay, and listen, if it's not a secret he came in,
lady was at a poker game. You know, you could
say something in front of her, but she probably knows yet.

Speaker 4 (29:56):
To get in the room and get.

Speaker 2 (29:57):
In bed, right, you like the nosey says the And.

Speaker 3 (30:00):
How long have you You said you just started getting
back in touch with her, not that long ago.

Speaker 13 (30:04):
Yeah, it's only been like a couple of months.

Speaker 3 (30:06):
Yeah, don't come back and start causing problems, especially if
with no evidence.

Speaker 4 (30:11):
Right for all, you know, he does these.

Speaker 3 (30:12):
Poker games every now and then and she knows about
you don't even know.

Speaker 13 (30:17):
Okay, Well, I don't want to seem like I'm coming
in causing trouble. So you got it.

Speaker 2 (30:23):
You got to m yb and get you some too.

Speaker 3 (30:25):
At the same time, don't be coming in hot. But
guess what just focus on your relationship with your sister.

Speaker 4 (30:30):
That's it.

Speaker 13 (30:31):
Okay, Well, thank you guys, me some advice that's been
bothering me. But before I go, can I just shout
out a new nonprofit organization I have, But I know
you guys promote businesses a lot.

Speaker 4 (30:41):
Go right ahead.

Speaker 13 (30:42):
Sometimes people forget about nonprofits. So it's called Blackbrown Universe,
Plant based People for Equity and we go on communities
and give people free plant based food. Nice people can
check us out at equal value for all dot WordPress
dot com.

Speaker 3 (30:56):
Okay, focus on that, Yes, thank thank you so much
for calling though. All right, well that was ask you
and as Mano likes to say, m y yeah.

Speaker 2 (31:09):
Your business and p y P.

Speaker 4 (31:12):
Play your position. The sister that just got back in the.

Speaker 2 (31:15):
House about to get tossed right back out?

Speaker 4 (31:17):
All right.

Speaker 3 (31:18):
Well when we come back, Rob four nine is joining us,
so you know we're going to have a good time
with him. I'm so glad he wasn't here for that call,
but we're talking to Rob for a nine is way.

Speaker 5 (31:27):
Up, y'all, more way up with Angela on now.

Speaker 7 (31:31):
What it is?

Speaker 3 (31:34):
What's up? This way up with Angela? Yee, I'm Angela
yee and my what I call you my brother and
my brother cousin making stuff.

Speaker 2 (31:41):
At this point, you're just making a.

Speaker 3 (31:44):
Man was here and robed for a nine. Finally we
got now we're happy to see you.

Speaker 4 (31:51):
And let me tell you said that right before you
came in, one.

Speaker 3 (31:53):
Of these websites posted a little snippet of a video.

Speaker 4 (31:59):
Of a video that you were filming.

Speaker 3 (32:01):
What do you think I was going to say?

Speaker 7 (32:05):
Now?

Speaker 4 (32:05):
I want to know what was going on in your
head because.

Speaker 9 (32:08):
I just seen another snipp that of a song. Okay,
that Wayne's song on Like.

Speaker 2 (32:14):
That's not supposed to be out.

Speaker 3 (32:16):
I saw they showed you guys filming the video and it.

Speaker 1 (32:19):
Was it's the actual, like real song.

Speaker 3 (32:22):
Oh the song is not just you see what I'm saying. Yeah,
I'm so mad.

Speaker 4 (32:26):
That's so rude because you want to be able to push.

Speaker 2 (32:28):
The back at that moment. Yeah, exactly.

Speaker 4 (32:32):
Well, anyway, how it happen? Like, how did that even happen?

Speaker 3 (32:37):
Because I know that's huge, Like little Wayne is not
the easiest thing to get a feature from him, So
how did you guys link up?

Speaker 9 (32:43):
After I had me and my mom, I had got
a call from Mac you know MC Mahon is like,
right now, but that's my real dog. Like you called
me like Wayne asked you for your number. I was like, yes,
right now.

Speaker 3 (32:54):
I feel like you have a good sense of humor
and people let starting to see it. First of all,
one of the funniest things. I don't know why this
always makes me laugh. It's people drawing you when they.

Speaker 11 (33:03):
Say he was just looking at those funny to.

Speaker 4 (33:10):
Me funny and you aren't easy to draw.

Speaker 1 (33:14):
Lady drew me and everything my mom was playing with
me out.

Speaker 4 (33:18):
Never seen that be a thing before, Like I.

Speaker 9 (33:20):
Know, I don't know where that come from, but all
publicity is good publicity.

Speaker 4 (33:24):
Right now, Mano and I are here talking to raph
four nine, and how is everything for you?

Speaker 3 (33:29):
Just you know, you've been doing music now for it's
been like almost four years, seriously, you know, wanting to
make that happen. So let's go back on that journey
from when you first went in the studio to record
a song for yourself, like that was a solo rap
four nine song and what that.

Speaker 9 (33:44):
Was like I'm in my very first first time, like
I don't tell nobout this, but my very first first
time with my dog, Lick Glenn. He took to the
studio and we made a song in high school, and
I just you'd be playing for people in high school,
like listen, I'm signing on him free band game like
future and everything. I made my next song, like after

(34:04):
I got out of high school. I was just going
through a lot of things like and I went to
the studio to really get it off my chest. So
I wasn't really trying to be no hype for how
You're not Like I was trying to be like a
soulful g herble like Jake Coles. And this just happened.

Speaker 4 (34:17):
And because you did Vulture Island and that was just
the song.

Speaker 3 (34:20):
That was spontaneous when you did that, and that's.

Speaker 4 (34:23):
What kind of made you. Is that what made you
kind of be more nah?

Speaker 9 (34:26):
I remember one day I was in the studio, like
I just wasn't feeling like put on the hype and
I just.

Speaker 3 (34:32):
Went in and that just was my new right, Like,
I like how this sounds speak to the girls a.

Speaker 1 (34:37):
Lot, play type game.

Speaker 15 (34:42):
Trying, you know, I feel like that I feel like

(35:06):
the latest be going though every time I say somebody girl,
it's just gravitate to it.

Speaker 4 (35:11):
You know what's funny?

Speaker 3 (35:12):
You could say some stuff that me like, if we're
not outside, we get cheated on.

Speaker 14 (35:15):
Right.

Speaker 4 (35:16):
I felt a worry about that because I know you'll
like what you're saying.

Speaker 1 (35:19):
I understand what you're saying.

Speaker 9 (35:20):
It's like from my city has said it's doing like
a thing, and I just put it on my songs.

Speaker 1 (35:25):
I'm like, homebody get cheated on. I don't know if
I'm believing that or not.

Speaker 4 (35:28):
I don't think you believe that. I know you were relationship. Yeah,
so is your is your girlfriend or homebody?

Speaker 1 (35:35):
Yeah? Home She got my ass about that.

Speaker 4 (35:37):
I bet she did. That's the first thing I thought.

Speaker 1 (35:41):
I'm like, man, you put it down to it like man.

Speaker 4 (35:43):
That okay, your teeth are good.

Speaker 1 (35:47):
Like white had to put there bro making me small.
They do not look like me.

Speaker 2 (35:57):
You know, just a whole stick things.

Speaker 4 (36:01):
I don't know what.

Speaker 3 (36:04):
I did think about that, because I know you always
represent for your long term relationship.

Speaker 4 (36:07):
I'm like, she's probably a homebody though, and I'm sure.

Speaker 1 (36:10):
You appreciate that, like one of the best people.

Speaker 3 (36:15):
How she handling all of this fame and all the
ladies feeling like, man, I love him.

Speaker 9 (36:20):
She'll be mad at that time. She's mad at like homebody,
you know what I'm.

Speaker 3 (36:25):
Saying, and she like, don't lie, yeah with your fake
lyrics talking about.

Speaker 1 (36:31):
Don't get cheered, because she does not get cheated on.

Speaker 3 (36:34):
Rob four nine is here with us, and we got
more with him. Yeah, Mana, when we come back, it's
way up, y'all.

Speaker 5 (36:39):
More way up with Angela. On now what's up?

Speaker 4 (36:45):
His way up with Angela? Ye, I'm Angela.

Speaker 3 (36:47):
Yee, my guy Mana is here and we are talking
to Rob four nine. Now, Rob four nine, your mom
is also your manager, and just curious what were your
mother's expectations for you growing up?

Speaker 9 (36:59):
She really had no expectations for me. I was always
like a look cool and who wasn't doing too much?
Like you know what I'm saying, Like we ain't out
here trying to be bad or nothing.

Speaker 4 (37:08):
You were athletic and she just wanted you to probably
like go to school.

Speaker 1 (37:11):
She wanted me to go to school.

Speaker 9 (37:13):
I remember going to get my mama from Lord's and
she brother that used to be eating me up because man,
her bag used to be looking like it's her and
she's walking. I'm like, hell, now we gotta do something
Like I remember the first day you remember that day
when I told you don't go back to work.

Speaker 1 (37:29):
I love that day.

Speaker 4 (37:30):
That's it. Yeah, that's amazing. That was so good to
be able to tell her.

Speaker 11 (37:34):
That, man, And it feels good now to have your
mother along with you on your journey though.

Speaker 9 (37:38):
Bro, I'm just happy she get the little life that
she used to see on TV. We're still in.

Speaker 2 (37:42):
The project and get to stand with you.

Speaker 9 (37:44):
Because she got more the project than me. Like she
got thirty years of the project, like the real trenches,
Like I ain't really get that. So when she when
I'm bringing her the barrier Man house and jewelis saying, Mom,
it's like I know she like with them, like you
know what I'm saying, Like we was in attention looking
at these like we'll never be able to test my
son the one that's amazing.

Speaker 4 (38:04):
Did she listen to that?

Speaker 9 (38:06):
My mom and beat the But I remember I thought
BG was my daddy for a long time. I knew
my dad was my daddy. But she used to be
playing all the type of the dumb game. Yeah, I
like you here, bz da dah. I'm thinking I think
she really talked to BG before her She's talking about
free BG.

Speaker 7 (38:22):
Like.

Speaker 4 (38:24):
Right now, Mano and I are here talking to ral
four nine.

Speaker 3 (38:27):
I saw previously you said that you wanted to do
music for three years and then retire.

Speaker 4 (38:31):
You feel differently now as I get.

Speaker 9 (38:33):
These I ain't gonna lie to tell big. I mean,
I'm just go ghost. I just won't get back to
like being able to go pull up on my family
when I want to, Like I really don't care about
money more than I kep about that.

Speaker 1 (38:45):
I'll be seeing my little brother grow up.

Speaker 9 (38:47):
And like I remember before rap Knight's be going to
see him every day, like but now he like five,
and he don't remember be coming pull up on him
every day. So it's like I won't really see my
little brother grow up. I won't go to my cousin
high school football games, like my mom be telling me,
like when I go back to the city, like, man,
you can't do that type, but I don't, Like.

Speaker 4 (39:06):
You do have to be careful though I know, but
still like I.

Speaker 9 (39:09):
Take that risk because like I remember being on a
basketball according my mom was the only person at my game.
I remember my mama catching the bust of one of
my football games and she was the only one up
from the project. Like I remember this I remember seeing
her through the gate when coach bring us home. She
got to catch the bus back home. I'm beating her home,
and I be thinking about it like that, like I
can't like let the life pass me.

Speaker 2 (39:31):
Without without having those moments with them, you know.

Speaker 4 (39:34):
But then you think about it.

Speaker 3 (39:35):
I saw you helped your sister buy a house. Yeah,
give me chill to be able to do something like that.
It kind of is when you're able to make money,
you're able to really help your family and help help
them do amazing things.

Speaker 9 (39:46):
I got a beautiful sister too. She deserved that. My
sister do my life thing, my travel all that.

Speaker 11 (39:51):
She like, like, you're the only artist I've really seen
new travel with your moms and have your moms involved
in in your day to day and your bennislaw.

Speaker 2 (40:01):
And I think that's dope.

Speaker 1 (40:02):
It really wasn't even like this at first.

Speaker 9 (40:04):
I remember when it when I first needed it, Like,
I like this better because I know, for shure, I
go flat roak today, like and I keep rapping she
pushing the sugar. When you've got a manager, you go
flat bro man, you got the next that's.

Speaker 3 (40:19):
Right, you know what I'm so tell us about the
tour starting in March, the Touch.

Speaker 1 (40:24):
Starting in March, it's in and the April. I don't know.
We might add more dates, but right now we got twenty.

Speaker 4 (40:28):

Speaker 1 (40:30):

Speaker 4 (40:32):
All right, that's perfect timing, and s.

Speaker 1 (40:34):
Supposed to really be coming out with a collabor tape.

Speaker 4 (40:36):
I knew it. I was gonna ask you that next,
but I don't know.

Speaker 1 (40:39):
We're really trying to get out on it all first.

Speaker 2 (40:42):
