first Lady of BMS.
Speaker 4 (02:41):
Yes, yes, there was good.
Speaker 3 (02:42):

So she's good people too. We always bump into her.
She's super, super funny and just genuine all right.
Speaker 3 (02:57):
Well, anyway, who do you guys want to shine a
line on eight hundred two fifty fifty?

Speaker 1 (03:05):
Good morning?
Speaker 9 (03:06):
I want to shine a light on my best friend here.
She is just a phenomenal friend. She is the true
definition of a friend. And I need to give her
her flowers while she's here. Not only has she helped
me through my pregnancy, but she was there for my delivery.
She has the weight of the world on her back
and she's still standing pin soul. And she's the best
(03:27):
godmother for my daughter.
Speaker 1 (03:28):
Oh my god, I love yeah. Get you a ka everybody,
how long you have been friends?
Speaker 4 (03:34):
We've been friends for fifteen plus years, beautiful.
Speaker 9 (03:37):
My daughter is seven months yesterday. This was also like
my miracle baby. So and she's just the phenomenal She's
like the baby Zaddy that everybody would want.
Speaker 1 (03:48):
I love it's now that's the real best friend.
Speaker 5 (03:50):
Now, my best friend, she's like my baby Zaddy.
Speaker 9 (03:54):
Yeah, exactly everything but sat out.
Speaker 1 (03:57):
To both of y'all. We love a good friendship.
Speaker 10 (03:59):
Yeah out to Kia, thank you, thank you, I love you.
Speaker 1 (04:06):
I gotta treat Jasmine better.
Speaker 4 (04:07):
You do all right?
Speaker 1 (04:08):
Well?
Speaker 3 (04:08):
That was shine a light eight hundred two nine two
fifty one fifty in case you couldn't get through. And
when we come back, we have your yet and we'll
be talking about Nicki Minaj.
Speaker 1 (04:17):
Oh my goodness.
Speaker 3 (04:18):
She put out her response this record to Meghan's a
couple of lines about her on Hiss, and a lot
of things have transpired. A lot of tweets will tell
you about it. It's way up.
Speaker 1 (04:29):
Yet, is next?
Speaker 6 (04:31):
They say in the rooms from industry shade to all
of gossip out. Angela's feeling that yet.
Speaker 3 (04:39):
It's way up at Angela. Ye, I'm Angela yee. And
my girl, Jasmine brand Is.
Speaker 1 (04:43):
Here's a rapper too, yep.
Speaker 3 (04:46):
I am all right. Now let's discuss Nicki Minaj. She
put out her big Foot track yesterday. This was a
complete this song towards Megan thee Stallion. This song started
when Megan thee Stallion put out a song called Hiss
where she addresses a lot of different people, a lot
of rumors, and one of the people that was addressed
was Nicki Minaj.
Speaker 1 (05:04):
Listened to this.
Speaker 8 (05:05):
People don't be.
Speaker 1 (05:05):
Made at Megan, be made at Megan's laws.
Speaker 4 (05:08):
I don't really know what the problem mean is, but
I can see y'all won't be staring she will.
Speaker 11 (05:12):
That was Stina checked me every CHESU game benjall, we
want to trace me?
Speaker 1 (05:17):
All right?
Speaker 3 (05:17):
Well, Nicki Minaj then went on social media, of course
she did, and she went on live also, and she
had a lot of things to say. She was waiting
for a little juju to clear a beat that she's
had for six years. She said, Jucy Jay said, that's
who mainly produced on that, that's who we got to
go through.
Speaker 1 (05:33):
And she said, hmm things.
Speaker 3 (05:34):
She'd be the judgeph what's happening Onika Roman and she said,
it's been ready for two days. Just was trying to
be cool and let her get her little streams. Wasn't
gonna say anything, but I remember how everyone kept my
name in their mouth and how I said the next
person mentioned my family gonna regret it. By the way,
they haven't even heard the song. Who said it's even
a disc never even knew I had this much power.
Didn't charge her for Hot Girls Summer verse that I
(05:54):
recorded the night she begged and begged to go on
my live. But it's okay, my end. We're a Pluto
charge to two hundred and fifty K for his verse.
Speaker 5 (06:01):
And yes those Nikki's last that that was what she wrote, Yes,
Gag City, and she went on and on to your Car,
her week and Bigfoot called her bigfoot and said went
to college and claimed she didn't understand her contract.
Speaker 3 (06:16):
But a lot of things happened, and she did put
out Bigfoot last night. And here is part of what
she had to say. And we're explaining the whole line
on your dead mam.
Speaker 1 (06:24):
Apart side how and when she died? How you gonna do?
Speaker 8 (06:30):
You can't cry shot my big foot a small fry
swearing on your dead mother wi a lie, And y'all
it's a little began.
Speaker 12 (06:40):
I'm talking about Meghan's law for a free beat, you
get hit Meghan. Oh if you a ghostwideer, party your
Megan shottone.
Speaker 1 (06:47):
But I still ain't letting Megan was like six foot.
I'll call him big foot, I said. Now, a lot
of things happen after this.
Speaker 3 (06:56):
But one thing I want to point out is the
whole line on your dead mom came from when Party
did his song the Person and said this about Meg
the stallion.
Speaker 13 (07:06):
I asked you to your face, did you hope them?
Speaker 6 (07:09):
And you swore on your mother.
Speaker 1 (07:11):
I knew from there I couldn't trust her. More lies
from the lips.
Speaker 6 (07:14):
Of a lover.
Speaker 1 (07:15):
Oh, so that's where she got that.
Speaker 4 (07:17):
Thanks for clarifying because I'm sure we were kind of confused.
Speaker 3 (07:20):
Yeah, I saw a lot of people were like, why
is she addressing her mom? And by the way, definitely
don't condone that because I think most of the backlash
was about that.
Speaker 4 (07:27):
Yeah, I thought that was why.
Speaker 3 (07:28):
Yeah, talking about her mom who passed a lot of
people I saw noting about their own relationships and having
their own issues within their families. Maybe your mom died
and you feel like this is yeah, crossing the line.
All right, here's more of what she had to say
on Bigfoot.
Speaker 1 (07:43):
I'm about to meet.
Speaker 12 (07:43):
Them and you asked, Yeah, they got you all them Grammys,
but your flows de l'ano with a fiansko loope, Jamaine,
you pay.
Speaker 1 (07:55):
She wanted buddy.
Speaker 12 (07:58):
I guess she needed money bags, but I'm sure so
she made a.
Speaker 1 (08:02):
Call for all right.
Speaker 3 (08:04):
Now, she addressed the fact that Megan Stallion has Grammys
because I saw people saying that she has Grammys and
she doesn't. But you know, she was saying that that
Meg the Stallion wraps off beat. And then if you
guys recall on social media, I don't know if you saw,
but Pimpsy's wife was upset. I saw that about these
dishes as well, and said it wasn't funny at all
because she said something like who do you want to
(08:25):
be Bunby or Pimpcy?
Speaker 7 (08:26):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (08:27):
And she her flow is like an h town flow.
Speaker 1 (08:30):
Right, So people were saying this wasn't a disc.
Speaker 4 (08:34):
Yeah, yeah, yeah she was.
Speaker 1 (08:35):
She was saying it as a disc though, I think, yeah,
but not to Pimpcy.
Speaker 8 (08:39):
No.
Speaker 3 (08:39):
She was saying to Megan, yeah, to Megan, but people
but Pimpsy's wife was upset.
Speaker 4 (08:42):
Yeah, I could see that, all right.
Speaker 1 (08:44):
So yeah, a lot going on here.
Speaker 3 (08:46):
But according to Nikki, she has some more things that
she could potentially say if she wanted to. And you
know it's like what like who We have no idea
what that is. But here's what she said.
Speaker 8 (09:00):
No, I've got allowed to do not one easy on yours,
you know one of her I mean a woman that
with her friend's mine.
Speaker 1 (09:14):
Let your friends talk about your ex friend, baby, want
to know that they have a very evil spirit.
Speaker 4 (09:24):
My prayer, world is that I don't.
Speaker 1 (09:25):
Think you want the next installment of this storm now.
Speaker 3 (09:28):
She also had claimed that she talked to Kelsey, who
was Meg thee Stallion's ex best friend. Angie also says
she has some things that she some information about Desiree
from Rock Nation.
Speaker 4 (09:38):
Oh I want to know, yes, I.
Speaker 1 (09:41):
I want to know your job, she said.
Speaker 3 (09:43):
On the next song, I delve into all the people
Desiree allegedly fired for unknown reasons other things as well.
So many people were blindsided and hurt by her. Allegedly
she's willing to go broke to try to replace me.
So that's your yeat all right, and we'll have more
updates I'm sure throughout the show for you when we
come back. We have about last night. That that's where
we discussed what we did last night. We're gonna make
this back to something positive. I'll tell you what I
(10:04):
did in Memphis over the weekend. It's way up last night.
Speaker 6 (10:08):
So about last night last night, last night, es, I
went down.
Speaker 3 (10:13):
It's way up. But Angela yee, I'm Angela yee. Jasmine
brand is here. I'm here, ma'am, and it's time for
about last night. Now, last night, literally last night, I
was watching Griselda while I was falling asleep.
Speaker 1 (10:24):
So I watched the first two episodes of that series.
Speaker 4 (10:26):
How was that?
Speaker 1 (10:27):
Netflix? It's really good?
Speaker 3 (10:28):
Okay, I always knew Griselda Blanco's name, but I didn't
know a lot of information about her. Okay, so it's
definitely definitely so far. The first two episodes pretty damn good.
Speaker 5 (10:39):
Okay, I'm gonna watch it. I was busy. I was
on the train, come in. I was watching the game.
The game, Yeah I was. I was watching that too. Yeah,
this is when I watched when it's the playoffs and
then the super Bowl.
Speaker 3 (10:49):
Other than that, I don't know what's going on. It
was heartbreaking up because I thought that I was like,
look at that. The lines are went in by so much,
they're about.
Speaker 1 (10:55):
To take it all. I know.
Speaker 3 (10:56):
It was amazing in Detroit, the way that the whole
city was going. I shot up to the d But
you know, I guess what this means is that you
feel like there's a good team now and anything could
happen in the future. And even if they made it
this far, people were like, this is great.
Speaker 4 (11:12):
It was just to make it this far was a
big deal for them.
Speaker 1 (11:14):
Yeah, so the forty nine is they are a tough
team to.
Speaker 4 (11:16):
Be Yep, they almost did it now.
Speaker 3 (11:18):
I was in Memphis though, over the weekend, and I
do want to shout out.
Speaker 1 (11:21):
I went to Saint Jude.
Speaker 3 (11:22):
Now, I always hear about Saint Jude, and I didn't
know all the information about Saint Jude Hospital and the
research Children's Research Hospital. But what I didn't realize i
got a tour and everything was that they don't pay
any money at all.
Speaker 4 (11:39):
They always say that in the commercials.
Speaker 3 (11:40):
I guess, so any of the cancer patients that go
there literally for housing, they have classes everything, so leukemia,
sickle cell, you know, cancer, and just so crippling that
this can be for I know a lot of reasons
that people can have money saved up and be responsible,
but medical bills can.
Speaker 1 (11:59):
Crush everything, thank you out right.
Speaker 3 (12:01):
And so to know that a place like Saint Jude
exists where they provide food, they provide not just.
Speaker 1 (12:07):
For you but for your family, that's a beautiful thing,
you know.
Speaker 3 (12:09):
And they work with Ronald McDonald house and they have
their own facilities there so you can live there long term.
For kids that are going there to get treatment and
they have to stay. They actually have school there for
you so you can have classes all fall behind, so
when you go back to school, you're all caught up
on everything. So it was just really amazing how they
survived but also even how it was founded. The guy
who founded at Danny Thomas, he actually didn't have enough
(12:33):
money for his own wife, who was pregnant, and he
just said a prayer and put in his last seven
dollars and then the next day he booked a gig
for exactly the amount of money that he needed. And
that's what made him go on this mission to start
this hospital. Also because there was a black kid who
got hit by a car, a young child, I think
he was like twelve, and they took him to all
(12:53):
these different hospitals and none of the hospitals woul take
him because he was black, and he ended up dying.
And so just to know that people need to get
healthcare no matter what the color of their skin, their age, whatever.
Speaker 1 (13:03):
So shout out to Saint Jude.
Speaker 3 (13:04):
And really exciting and I'm sure I'll be talking about
it more in the meantime. Tell us a secret eight
hundred two nine two fifty one fifty is a number.
Anything that you want to share with us. We are
here to help you out. That is our give back
today now, but we can always we always are giving back.
But tell us a secret eight hundred two ninety two
fifty one fifty.
Speaker 1 (13:23):
Call us up. We want to hear your secret. We
won't write a this song about you. It's way up.
This is a judgment free zone. Tell us a secret.
What's up?
Speaker 3 (13:31):
Its way up at Angela Yee. I'm Angela Yee and
Jasmine Brand is here with me today.
Speaker 4 (13:35):
Good morning, Angela.
Speaker 3 (13:36):
Here's a secret. I still feel a little weak. I
told you I was throwing up all weekend. I think
I had like a bug or something like that. And
the other secret is it was coming at both ends.
Say well, I want to hear your secrets. Eight hundred
two ninety two fifty one fifty Anonymous color what's up?
Speaker 10 (13:52):
I'm going cool?
Speaker 11 (13:53):
How are you?
Speaker 1 (13:54):
I'm good? Thank you? You want to tell us a secret?
Speaker 2 (13:56):
Yes?
Speaker 14 (13:56):
For my secret is I have been dealing with blinia
for many years.
Speaker 1 (14:03):
Oh, I'm so excity to hear that.
Speaker 14 (14:05):
I've never I'm self diagnosed. I've never seen a doctor
about it.
Speaker 3 (14:10):
Yeah, why is it that you haven't seen a doctor?
Speaker 10 (14:15):
Well, honestly, I just accepted that I've been contemplating seeing
a psychiatrist and talking to somebody I did attempt to call.
Speaker 14 (14:27):
Says it's not about the beliina, but like about trauma,
and I was feeling depressed, and so when I called,
I was trying to figure out what the scept would.
Speaker 2 (14:38):
Be, and the.
Speaker 14 (14:40):
Receptionist that, well, what we'll do is we'll we'll get
you in touch with a psychiatrist and figure out what
medications that you'll be on. And I just felt like
that was just, you know, just show me on medications, somebody.
I mean, I guess the psychiatrist would talk to me,
but just to throw me on medications.
Speaker 3 (14:56):
It kind of you didn't want to start at medication.
You wanted to start with let's have a let's versation
and see.
Speaker 4 (15:02):
She may not even need to figure out why.
Speaker 15 (15:06):
You know, I know the reason why I do it
is probably because of childhood trauma. Unfortunately, my mom addressed
me as a child. She would say, bring you're big
in here, you know, and I know that kind of
affected not eating habit, right, you know, I'm a mom.
Speaker 2 (15:21):
She didn't know any better.
Speaker 14 (15:22):
I'm sure it happened to her because honestly.
Speaker 2 (15:25):
I think my mom is dealing with it too.
Speaker 3 (15:27):
Okay, so you want to make sure that you break
that cycle that you've been having, but you know where
it came from.
Speaker 1 (15:32):
Well, you know, where I want to.
Speaker 3 (15:34):
We do have a doctor, a therapist who we work with,
doctor Kendall Jasper, and so maybe he can just have
a conversation with you to help point you in the
right direction to get started. Because I think it's amazing
that you're even able to share that with us, and
that you seem like you're ready to get some help,
and that you did try before.
Speaker 1 (15:52):
But it just wasn't what you needed at that time.
Speaker 14 (15:55):
Right, But I really do need to get it well
when curse.
Speaker 5 (16:00):
Because I want to make sure you have all the
tools that you need from an expert, you know.
Speaker 4 (16:04):
Yep, right, and I'm sure she's not the only one
that is experiencing this.
Speaker 1 (16:08):
All right, we'll hold on the line, all right, Yeah,
hold on the line. We'll get you.
Speaker 3 (16:11):
We'll get your information privately, no one will have it,
and then connect you with doctor Jasper. If that's okay
with you, Oh, thank you, I appreciate it, Okay, hold
on all right? Well that was tell us a secret
eight hundred two nine. We appreciate everybody who calls up
to share with us. And when we come back, we
have a yet you know what. Since Nicki Minads was
(16:32):
addressing Rock Nation, Desiree and all of that. Let's talk
about why rock Nation is trending its way up.
Speaker 6 (16:38):
Sure she's about to blow the lead about this, but
let's get it. Angela's building at yet, come and get
your tea.
Speaker 1 (16:45):
It's way up at Angela. Ye, I'm Angela yee.
Speaker 3 (16:47):
And Jasmine Brand is here, yes, hey hey, and let's
get into some yet. So rock Nation was trending today
and that's because of a couple of reasons. Yeah, speculation
over this rumored jay Z album. I guess a video
direct was on Instagram with the pair of posts that
says he's working on a music video with jay Z.
In the first photo, there's a conversation that says he's
(17:07):
shooting today. Somebody's where you're at and the person that
I'm home, bro, who you shooting?
Speaker 1 (17:11):
And he said jay Z?
Speaker 3 (17:13):
All right, and then there's a picture of the slate
that says jay Z. It didn't take long for social
media to then say that jay Z is going to
drop another album this year, but rock Nation and responded that's.
Speaker 1 (17:26):
News to us.
Speaker 4 (17:26):
Okay, so it's not happening probably.
Speaker 1 (17:28):
Or rock Nation didn't know and they just found out too.
Maybe the two things.
Speaker 4 (17:33):
Maybe he was shooting a commercial or something.
Speaker 3 (17:34):
Yeah, because I can't imagine that a video director would
do something like that without permission. Somebody who's a professional
is not going to just post a conversation where you're
at shooting with jay Z and everything strategic.
Speaker 1 (17:47):
Everything is strategic.
Speaker 3 (17:48):
And then the other reason he was turning, obviously is
because of what Nicki Minaj is saying about Desiree and
rock Nation and Meg the Stallion.
Speaker 1 (17:56):
What voice was that?
Speaker 8 (17:58):
All?
Speaker 1 (17:59):
Right?
Speaker 3 (17:59):
Now, Chris on the Rock has a tattoo, a blue
face on her face.
Speaker 1 (18:04):
I could not believe that this is real.
Speaker 4 (18:07):
I think it is real.
Speaker 1 (18:08):
It's to see her getting the tattoo. I think we
just always saw the outline.
Speaker 3 (18:14):
And then we saw the finished product. She says, it's real.
Here's what you have to say on live.
Speaker 1 (18:20):
It's not fake.
Speaker 15 (18:21):
Me and Blue We're gonna give it another try.
Speaker 11 (18:23):
We realized we it is not our happiest with anybody else,
So he was doing with fake.
Speaker 3 (18:30):
She's also moved back into the house with him, so
she posted herself outside moving back in.
Speaker 5 (18:36):
How hard it will it be to remove a face
tattoo of that caliber, because that's that's very detailed.
Speaker 4 (18:41):
It's very dark. It's very big. I wonder how hard
we have to.
Speaker 3 (18:44):
Put first correcting cream and then you put on a concealer.
Just needs skin just there, maybe some Yeah, I don't
know what you can do for that, but God bless her.
I guess she's in it, and hopefully he gets a
matching one then too.
Speaker 1 (18:58):
Doubt it.
Speaker 3 (18:59):
Meanwise, other woman, his other baby mom and perhaps fiance,
Jaden Alexis put up a selfie of her face with
no tattoos.
Speaker 1 (19:07):
She said, my skin's so pretty. Oh, that's right, all right.
Speaker 3 (19:11):
And Carti b has teamed up with the Museum of
ice Cream. She's doing a whip Shots Valentine's Day collab.
She has strawberry whipshots plus ice cream. By the way,
excellent in coffee. Uplifts people. If you ever have that
with the coffee, So shout out to her for that.
Speaker 4 (19:25):
It's a little strong, So those whipshots are a little strong.
Speaker 1 (19:27):
They should be.
Speaker 3 (19:28):
And I want to say that in the midst of
all this drama with Meg the Stallion and Nikki Carti
ends up turning.
Speaker 1 (19:34):
Everybody else ends up trending.
Speaker 5 (19:36):
As people are pulling up old things or old beefs
and things like.
Speaker 1 (19:40):
That so Kim was trending, Little Kim was trended.
Speaker 5 (19:42):
Everybody has been trending based off of this Nasafaris trending.
Speaker 1 (19:46):
He is I get it all right now.
Speaker 3 (19:48):
Britney Spears has apologized and also shouted out Justin Timberlake's
Selfish song after fans made her song skyrocket on the charts.
She posted, I want to apologize for some of the
things I wrote in my book. If I offended any
of the people I genuinely care about, I am deeply sorry.
I also want to say I'm in love with Justin
Timberlake's new song Selfish.
Speaker 1 (20:07):
It is so good.
Speaker 3 (20:08):
And how come every time I see Justin and Jimmy
together I laughed so hard. Ps sanctified is wow too?
And then she put at fallon tonight.
Speaker 5 (20:16):
So don't write about me in my book and your
book and then tell me sorry on Instagram.
Speaker 3 (20:21):
Well, you know, she's sorry, but maybe it is still
her truth.
Speaker 4 (20:25):
Okay, truth, it's the truth.
Speaker 1 (20:27):
She's sorry that she hurt people.
Speaker 3 (20:29):
But if that's her truth, all right, well that is
your yet and when we come back, we have under
the radar. These are the stories that are not necessarily
in the headlines. Because there's a lot going on in
the headlines. They're flying under the radar. And one person
I want to talk about is eg and Carol. I
saw that she did CNN this morning. She was on
Good Morning America and she's talking about that eighty.
Speaker 1 (20:47):
Three million dollars that she got. All Right, it's way.
Speaker 6 (20:50):
Up newsition the news that relates to you. These stories
are flying under the radar.
Speaker 3 (20:57):
It's way up at Angela Yee, I'm Angela Yee, and
Jasmine brand is here wish and it's time to go
under the radar. These stories of flying under the radar
not necessarily in the headlines.
Speaker 1 (21:09):
And you know, it is an election year.
Speaker 3 (21:11):
And in the midst of all this, Donald Trump is
going through legal battles.
Speaker 1 (21:15):
Now.
Speaker 3 (21:15):
He was in court with eg and Carroll and Jerry
did award her over eighty three million dollars, and that
is for his repeated defamatory statements. And she has said
that she is going to use this money on something
that Donald Trump hates. Here's what she yes, Here's what
she had to say.
Speaker 1 (21:34):
You said, you want to do great things with this
eighty three million dollar settlement.
Speaker 6 (21:38):
Give us an idea about that.
Speaker 16 (21:39):
Don't want to waste money. I'd like to give the
money to something Donald Trump hates, perhaps a fund for
the women who have been sexual assaulted by Donald Trump.
Speaker 7 (21:51):
Now.
Speaker 3 (21:51):
Egen Carroll was awarded five million dollars previously for sexual
abuse okay, and for a twenty twenty two denial by
Trump that they said defamed her. Then on Friday, a
jury and a separate civil defamation case gave her eighty
three point three million dollars for these two lengthy denials
that Trump made in twenty nineteen, after Ejen Carroll went
(22:13):
public with her story, if you guys would call this story,
she said that she struggled to get him off her
as she shoved his mouth on hers, yanked her tights down,
penetrated her with his hand and then his penis, and
she said she described him curving his finger inside her,
saying it was extremely painful and a horrible feeling.
Speaker 1 (22:31):
And so you know that was what this was all about.
Speaker 3 (22:35):
Now he has said that he plans to appeal, and
so in the meantime, while waiting for his appeal, he
doesn't have to pay at this time while his appeal
is going on. Here is what else she had to
say about facing Donald Trump and the corn room, because
he said that he planned to be there for this
trial every day and to hear to figure out what the.
Speaker 1 (22:55):
What they were going to say with the jury was
going to determine.
Speaker 3 (22:58):
And a part of that was him trying to intimidate
her by saying that he would be there.
Speaker 5 (23:02):
Here's what he said. Here's what she said about Donald
Trump seeing him in the courtroom.
Speaker 1 (23:06):
What was it like being in the courtroom with Donald Trump?
Speaker 16 (23:08):
Terrifying until I got there. The week's sleeping up to
no sleep, you know, couldn't eat. And then I sat down.
Robbie said, good morning, missus Curl. Could you please spell
your name for the court. I spelled my name. I
looked out there he was and it was like he
was nothing like an emperor without clothes.
Speaker 3 (23:28):
Yeah, so his going there to try to intimidate her
probably maybe made her feel a bit more powerful. And
I'm sure that all of the things that he was
saying and doing during this time didn't help his case.
Speaker 4 (23:39):
She would just say, someone looked like nothing.
Speaker 1 (23:42):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (23:44):
Man, it is really disgusting when you read all of
the things that he and the fact that he's now
running for president is crazy to me. I M all right,
and Duncan Donuts is facing a class action lawsuit for
allegedly upcharging from milk alternatives. So if you need soy,
coconut or almond milk, they actually charge more, but that's discriminatory.
Speaker 1 (24:02):
That's why my coffee shop cup we don't up charge.
Speaker 3 (24:04):
So you can get oat milk and milk, whatever type
of milk you want, and it never costs you extra
because we know a lot of people have dietary issues
if you have milk from macw especially you know a
lot of us are lactose intolerant are so we should
have to pay extra money for that.
Speaker 1 (24:19):
All right, Well, that is you're under the radar.
Speaker 8 (24:21):
You know.
Speaker 3 (24:21):
We got asked yee coming up and we also got
the way Up mix at the top of the hour.
It's all about you guys, So start calling us up
eight hundred.
Speaker 1 (24:30):
Ways like the Chow like they Angela Jean like they
Angela Jean Man.
Speaker 6 (24:35):
She's spilling it all. This is yet way.
Speaker 3 (24:40):
It's way up with Angela Yee. I'm Angela Yee. Jasmine
brand is here, Yes, from the Jasmine brand dot Com.
All right, let's get into some yet now. Kim Kardashian
is going to be producing and featuring in an Elizabeth
Taylor docuseries. Okay, It's commissioned by the BBC. It's a
three part documentary. It's called The List. Beth Taylor rebels superstar.
Speaker 4 (25:03):
That fits with Kim doing something like that.
Speaker 13 (25:05):
I like that.
Speaker 1 (25:05):
Is she a good actor?
Speaker 4 (25:07):
Well, I thought she's producing it. I didn't realize she
was acting yet.
Speaker 5 (25:09):
Well, she's going to feature in oh, Okay, but it's
a documentary, so I guess she'd just be talking.
Speaker 1 (25:15):
So it's not like it's a biopic. She's playing somebody weird.
Speaker 3 (25:19):
But Kim Card actually said Elizabeth Tayla was unapologetically herself
a fighter who conducted the last interview with her before
she conducted the last interview with her before she died.
So she said, it's proof that you can keep evolving
and changing and had different chapters in your life, and
she paved the way for all of us who came
after her with that blueprint. Okay, So she'll be one
of the people being interviewed for this.
Speaker 1 (25:39):
All right, all right.
Speaker 3 (25:40):
Little zay Osama is facing a twenty year sentence after
being indicted on gun charges and earlier this week. They
charged him with possession of a machine gun and possession
of an unregistered firearm, so that is a maximum sentence.
He's also in custody right now in unrelated charges. He
is expected to be arraigned in Brooklyn at a later
(26:03):
date he's arrested. He was arrested in September twenty twenty
two after he allegedly left a machine gun in the
back seat of an uber while driving from Manhattan to
a recording studio in Queen's.
Speaker 4 (26:13):
Come on now, a machine A machine gun?
Speaker 3 (26:16):
Yeah, I remember when he was in town when that
happened to This's Wild. I think I had ran into
his manager at Brooklyn Chophouse. Oh we love Brooklyn when
that happened.
Speaker 1 (26:25):
All right, now, let's get into Snoop.
Speaker 3 (26:29):
Snoop recently sat down and did an interview on Radio
Andy with Andy Cohen, and he talked about Michael Jackson
asking him to please not smoke the weed.
Speaker 11 (26:41):
We have a record that never came out together. We
never had issues. Only issue me and Mike had was
we was at Christian Outja. He had a vent in
Vegas like he had. Michael Jackson performed. Snoop Dogg performed,
but way he messed up. He put Michael Jackson dressing
room right next to Snoop Dogg's open the door.
Speaker 9 (27:00):
You blew a bunch of Yeah.
Speaker 1 (27:01):
He's right there looking at it. He said, Snoop, don't
do that.
Speaker 4 (27:05):
Why you first thing up like that.
Speaker 1 (27:06):
That's how Michael talks. I guess he's very soft spoken.
Speaker 3 (27:09):
He also said that he and fifty cent recently, he
said this on All the Smoke. He said that they
also helped provide financial support personally to some of the
ogs of hip hop.
Speaker 1 (27:20):
Here's what Snoop said.
Speaker 11 (27:22):
There's been many times where me and fifty Cent together
have called some r OG's and put bags on him.
He feels like, I feel if it's an og that
needed that's down that don't know how to ask for it,
I put it in and they're like, oh, fifty just
I'm like, man, beat me to it. Hold on, like
you beat me to the donation pad.
Speaker 1 (27:43):
We want to donate together.
Speaker 4 (27:45):
That's nice.
Speaker 3 (27:45):
Yeah, that's a beautiful thing all right now. Fuji's Rapper
Prize prize from the Fujis. His attorney has pleaded guilty
to leaking evidence to reporters. David Kenner, he served as
prize as legal counsel during his international conspiracy scheme case.
Speaker 1 (28:01):
Imagine this.
Speaker 3 (28:02):
Apparently he leaks some evidence to reporters in this case,
and so he played guilty the criminal contempt of court.
On Friday, he got one year of probation and a
five thousand dollars fine. He said, I'm deeply sorry to
be standing in front of you, and I fully accept responsibility.
I guess he was doing this to try to help
in the case, so he co Yeah, he gave some information.
Speaker 1 (28:24):
That was stealed that he wasn't supposed to give.
Speaker 4 (28:26):
Your probations, isn't bad?
Speaker 2 (28:29):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (28:29):
And a fine?
Speaker 3 (28:30):
Yeah, and the reason why he did it, we get it.
But he's an attorney. He should know better than Yeah,
for sure.
Speaker 1 (28:35):
It doesn't help.
Speaker 3 (28:36):
All right, Well, that is your yut. And when we
come back, we have asked.
Speaker 13 (28:40):
Ye.
Speaker 3 (28:40):
Eight hundred two nine two fifty one fifty is the question,
I mean is the question. It's a number to call
us up. I'm still a little out of it, guys.
I'm not gonna lie. I was sick, yeah, all weekend
and really weak, so I'm still like recovering. I haven't
even eaten a full meal yet, all right, well, ask
ye next eight hundred two nine two fifty one fifty.
Speaker 6 (28:58):
But it's relationship for Korea. Angela's dropping facts.
Speaker 2 (29:01):
So you should.
Speaker 1 (29:04):
What's up? Its way up with Angela Yee.
Speaker 3 (29:06):
I'm Angela Yee and Jasmine Brand is here with me,
and it's time to ask ye. Eight hundred and two
nine fifty one fifty is a number. We have Mariah
on the line. What's up, Mariah?
Speaker 1 (29:16):
Hey girl, how you doing good? How are you? Girl?
Speaker 7 (29:19):
Power?
Speaker 1 (29:20):
What's good?
Speaker 17 (29:21):
Oh no, That's why I'm like, let me call my
homegirl because she gets the best advice and I need it.
Speaker 1 (29:26):
Okay, we're listening. I was having a three year affair.
Speaker 17 (29:30):
Everything was good, coup esthetic, and then I got pregnant. Hey,
baby comes White finds out because I had to tell
her because you're not gonna not take care of my kids.
Speaker 4 (29:42):
Wow, you told her?
Speaker 17 (29:43):
After that, cats off the bag, So what Now I'm
in his bag? So now he's at my house, I
have the baby or whatever, and everything's good for like
the first three months, and then I guess I wasn't
really doing what he wanted to do, so he went
back to the wife and having heard from him, thinks,
so me being me, I go put him on child support.
(30:06):
So now he's mad that he's on child support and
now he's just fasedly like child supports the only.
Speaker 1 (30:12):
Support, but he hasn't paid.
Speaker 3 (30:15):
Oh well, if he doesn't pay his child support, that's
going to be his own legal issues that he's going
to have to deal with.
Speaker 1 (30:20):
That's on him.
Speaker 3 (30:21):
And just so you know, we can't condone like you know,
you know what it was, you were the side piece,
you got pregnant, told his wife he was mad, but
then his wife kicked him out. He ended up coming
with you, and then he did the same thing to
you that he did to her. He got a lot
of issues.
Speaker 9 (30:36):
You know.
Speaker 3 (30:36):
The blessing is, yes, you have a beautiful child now,
but you have a father who was never really going
to be the man that he needed to be for
any woman or you know, let alone a child. So
all you can do is make him pay what he
needs to pay if he wants to see his child.
You know, hopefully he'll come around to be a better
co parent. But that's not your problem anymore. As far
(30:59):
as dating, is it somebody you still want to be with?
Speaker 17 (31:03):
No, not at all, you know, honestly, with me, not
having my first daughter's dad around. I really was just
trying to make it so that my other daughter can
have a dad, I guess, but I never really wanted them.
The thing about it is, you know I already moved on.
I'm pregnant already with a whole nother situation.
Speaker 1 (31:23):
Wow, A'm fertile girl.
Speaker 5 (31:25):
Okayngratulations, Okay, So who is this guy now?
Speaker 1 (31:30):
Same situations?
Speaker 8 (31:31):
What not?
Speaker 1 (31:32):
Come on, Mariah, they don't come married. You just find
it out later, gotcha? All right?
Speaker 3 (31:37):
Well, Mariah, I want you to be in a relationship
where you are the one and it's honest, and it's
somebody you could be with, because this is you know,
you have children watching what you're doing, You have a family.
You want to make sure that you're making smart decisions
for yourself.
Speaker 17 (31:53):
That's valid, But you know, like I literally just try
to live my life and have fun, like because nobody
really posis themselves as them she fails.
Speaker 5 (32:02):
Well, take your time, Mariah, in that case, it takes
time for all of us. And you see little things, Yeah,
you see little red flags that you probably ignore.
Speaker 17 (32:10):
Yeah, I speed past them every time.
Speaker 3 (32:12):
Don't ignore those red flags?
Speaker 1 (32:14):
Are all right? Well, Mariah?
Speaker 3 (32:16):
All I can tell you is you know, be the
best mom that you can be from this point moving forward.
But I do want you to take some accountability and
make some better, smarter decisions for yourself.
Speaker 1 (32:28):
Sure, Rayah, accountability is key. Okay, we could try.
Speaker 17 (32:33):
You know, it's a new year.
Speaker 9 (32:34):
Maybe that could be a new meet.
Speaker 5 (32:36):
All right, well, our best of luck to you, and
please have a safe pregnancy and don't stress yourself out
over things you can't control.
Speaker 1 (32:43):
That's right, okay girl? All right, well that was asking.
I don't know.
Speaker 3 (32:50):
She's making some choices now at this point. All right,
when we come back, we want to talk about plies.
He was on social media and for twenty twenty four
he wants to go on his first official day, which
is crazy. First, but then I started thinking do we
go on official dates?
Speaker 1 (33:04):
And it's chivalry?
Speaker 9 (33:04):
Dad.
Speaker 1 (33:05):
Here's what he said.
Speaker 18 (33:06):
I'd have made a commitment on mysel other night. I
listen this, ye, I'm going out on a date. I
ain't never went out on a real date ever. I
want to go out on a full date. I'm talking
about pick you'll get out like a gentleman. Open the
door for you. I want hold hands everything, you know,
I ain't never hear a hands in public.
Speaker 1 (33:24):
All right, call us up, guys, let us know. Do
y'all do these things?
Speaker 3 (33:27):
Go, pick somebody up on a date, open the door
for them, drop them off at the end of the night.
Is this what y'all do on a date? Eight hundred
two nine two fifty one fifty Are you guys holding hands?
Speaker 1 (33:38):
Let us know?
Speaker 3 (33:39):
And if not, y'all ain't been on no official date either.
It's way up, Turn it up, you vibe.
Speaker 6 (33:44):
It way up with Angela Yee. Come write more?
Speaker 7 (33:47):
Now?
Speaker 1 (33:47):
What's up this?
Speaker 3 (33:48):
Way up with Angela Yee. I'm Angela Yee. And Jasmine
Brand is here. Yes, I'm here, and we're talking about plaies.
Speaker 2 (33:54):
Now.
Speaker 3 (33:54):
He went on social media and to the ladies. He
put that in parentheses, just so you know he's talking
to the ladies. Lady, where I want to go on
my first official date? My life and upbringing been a
little rough. I just want to experience this. And here
is what he had to say.
Speaker 18 (34:07):
I'd have made a commitment on mysel other night I
had listen this. Yeah, I'm going out on a date.
I ain't never went out on a real date ever.
I want to go out on a full date. I'm
talking about, I pick you up, get out like a
GENMA open the door for you.
Speaker 1 (34:22):
I want to hold hands everything.
Speaker 7 (34:23):
You know.
Speaker 1 (34:24):
I ain't never hear a hand.
Speaker 3 (34:25):
In public, Jason, when's the last time somebody picked you
up at home, held the door, all those things for you?
Speaker 8 (34:31):
You know?
Speaker 5 (34:31):
The men I date now, they do all those things,
but they do not pick me up from my home, okay,
because yeah, you're traveling. Yeah, so but yeah, they opened door,
even the rough ones they opened.
Speaker 1 (34:40):
Door, the rough ones.
Speaker 5 (34:41):
Yeah, the ones that kind of rough around the edges,
they open doors. They take out the chair and yeah,
they're a little.
Speaker 8 (34:46):
They do that.
Speaker 3 (34:47):
Now, I can't tell you the last time somebody came
to my house like, well, no, okay, I'll be lying that.
I'm not saying that, but I just can't remember off
the top of you, like come home, pick.
Speaker 4 (34:56):
You up my card, and say come outside to here.
Speaker 1 (34:59):
Because the car.
Speaker 4 (35:00):
Now, sometimes if.
Speaker 3 (35:01):
You know you're going out and you're having a drink,
you're like, I don't even want to drive.
Speaker 4 (35:04):
Do you like your door open? And stuff like that?
Speaker 1 (35:06):
Yeah, I'm used to it now.
Speaker 3 (35:07):
I wait, as a standing that's all right, Well, let's
see what you guys think eight hundred two nine fifty
fifty pinky, what about you?
Speaker 9 (35:16):
I honestly can't say that in New York. I feel
like the men out here or people in the East
Coast thorial don't really be on that.
Speaker 7 (35:22):
At the time.
Speaker 4 (35:24):
Is that so?
Speaker 1 (35:25):
What do they do?
Speaker 14 (35:25):
Yeah?
Speaker 10 (35:26):
I don't know.
Speaker 17 (35:27):
I don't know if it's like an ego thing or something,
but I don't remember the last time somebody opened the
car door for me or the door for me.
Speaker 9 (35:35):
And sometimes I feel like that's just the rest flag.
I feel like it's probably not that into me. You're
just like trying to kill or something like that.
Speaker 2 (35:41):
I don't know, but I feel.
Speaker 3 (35:43):
Like sometimes people don't know better though, Like sometimes guys
have never done that.
Speaker 1 (35:47):
Yeah, and they don't.
Speaker 7 (35:49):
They probably don't.
Speaker 5 (35:50):
Yeah, no, no, no, now that she says it, all
the guys that open doors for me, they are not
from the East Coast, right, They're not from New York
they're not from the they're not from New York dast.
Speaker 4 (35:57):
They're not long here and try none of that.
Speaker 1 (35:59):
I agree with you.
Speaker 9 (36:00):
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (36:02):
Would you like that to happen?
Speaker 14 (36:04):
Absolutely?
Speaker 9 (36:05):
I would love. Sometimes I try to like test them out.
Speaker 10 (36:07):
See they're gonna do it.
Speaker 18 (36:08):
Or not pull out my chair.
Speaker 9 (36:11):
I feel like just picking up the tab is not enough.
Speaker 5 (36:13):
Okay, all right, well let's start at picking up the
tab right, start there. But you some guys get mad.
Some guys get mad when you touch the door.
Speaker 1 (36:20):
Yeah, hold on, I got that. Stop doing that, all right?
Speaker 3 (36:23):
Well, thank you for colind no problem, thank you.
Speaker 1 (36:27):
Hey Jamorrow? What's up?
Speaker 10 (36:29):
Hey?
Speaker 11 (36:29):
What's going on?
Speaker 1 (36:30):
What's good? So we're talking about chivalry.
Speaker 3 (36:33):
Do you go and pick up somebody for a date
and drop them off at the end of the night,
hold the door, pull out the chair, all those things.
Speaker 13 (36:40):
Absolutely, all that, especially if I said I'm gonna take
you on the date, so I'm gonna pick you up,
and I'm definitely bringing some roses, definitely out the car,
opening the door, definitely taking you to a restaurant that
I like, or even something that you like. Specifically, because
you know, I'm working these love languages, so in the
space of the love language, I got to figure what.
Speaker 7 (37:00):
You like, not just what I like.
Speaker 4 (37:01):
Where are you from?
Speaker 2 (37:03):
I'm from New York.
Speaker 1 (37:04):
Wow, man, that's shocking. You've been roses too. We like that.
Where'd you learn all this? Yeah?
Speaker 8 (37:10):
It my parents.
Speaker 13 (37:11):
Man, you know what I'm saying, Like, if I'm taking
somebody on a date specifically, I'm going to try and
romance you. And you know there's also the situation, of course,
if you're not really digging somebody, you're not gonna like
attempt to take.
Speaker 1 (37:24):
Him on a date. Right, Okay, well that's sweet. We'd
like to hear it.
Speaker 4 (37:28):
There's still a hope, ladies.
Speaker 8 (37:30):
There is still hope.
Speaker 1 (37:32):
Absolutely, Thank you for calling.
Speaker 4 (37:33):
Thank you, all right, no problem, all.
Speaker 3 (37:35):
Right, Well that was that's discussing what Pa said about
him wanted to go on a real date in twenty
twenty four. I can't even see him pulling up in
a car with roses, getting out, opening the door and
doing all that. But I can't see him having his
driver do all those things come to get you. It's funny,
all right. When we come back, you guys, we have
the last word. It's eight hundred two nine two fifty
(37:56):
one fifty way up.
Speaker 6 (37:57):
Take up the phone, tapping and gets your voice heard?
Speaker 8 (38:01):
What the word he is?
Speaker 1 (38:03):
The last word on way up with angela ye? What's up?
Speaker 3 (38:06):
His way up with angela Ye? I'm angela yee. Jasmine
brand is Hereel, we can't believe you're here, Jasmine cut
it out. But anyway, thank you for coming today. Thank
you guys for joining us. I know that it's the
day after the playoffs, so everybody was up excited and
watching all day yesterday.
Speaker 1 (38:22):
Some of y'all are very disappointed today. I saw people crying.
Speaker 4 (38:25):
I am some of some of these people, I'm a
little displayed.
Speaker 1 (38:28):
I didn't even know you were a football fan.
Speaker 4 (38:29):
I wasn't. I mean, we're in Detroit all the time,
we got a property there.
Speaker 1 (38:33):
But I thought you would be a Ravens fan.
Speaker 17 (38:36):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (38:37):
I didn't expect Ragan's to win, but I also heard
how Detroit hadn't got this far in so long, so
I was really rooting for that because there's such the underdog.
Speaker 1 (38:44):
But it's also still exciting that they made it that fire.
Speaker 3 (38:46):
It makes you excited about the team and what's going
to happen next year.
Speaker 1 (38:50):
So are we excited for the super Bowl?
Speaker 13 (38:52):
Now?
Speaker 12 (38:52):
Why not?
Speaker 3 (38:53):
Okay, it's performance, so you know, all right, Yeah that
is that is really dope. So thank you guys again
for joining us today. And as usual, as always, y'all
get to have the last word.
Speaker 9 (39:03):
Yeah, good on this is a sealed double.
Speaker 7 (39:05):
And listen, I'm a little bit old school, and yes,
I do believe you know, chivalry. Chivalry is not dead,
especially on a date. She a lady, like a lady
over the doors, drop her off, take her home, watch her,
make sure she gets into the house. Make that young
lady feel comfortable. You know, these days and times, a
lot of men don't do that. And more than likely,
if she's feeling you a little bit, there may be
a possibility of a second date. Have a good one,
(39:27):
all right.
Speaker 2 (39:27):
I would just like to shine a light on my daughter,
Trina griss and Winfield. Her birthday was yesterday, January twenty eighth.
She made thirty six. She's a great mom to her
two daughters, Aliah m Michelle. She's a big, great sister
to her brothers. She's an excellent wife to her husband,
and everything she does she do to her best ability.
(39:48):
And I just want to give her a shout out
and tell her I love her. Keep doing the dang
one thing.
Speaker 6 (39:54):
Going way out with Andela Yee
