Speaker 2 (00:12):
Yeah, it's way yup with Angela Yee. I'm Angela Yee.
It is a Wednesday, and not only is it Wednesday,
is also day three of my fast, so I haven't
had any food yet. I'm doing the detox now, but
I am drinking tea when nothing added to it, just
to tea bag.
Speaker 3 (00:30):
And that's it.
Speaker 4 (00:31):
And water.
Speaker 2 (00:32):
It was tough because last night we filmed two episodes
of Lift Service, lots of drinks on the table and
I was drinking water, so you know, not a bad thing.
Though I feel a little weak today, but I gotta
have some coconut water to get my strength up.

of that particular magazine.
Speaker 4 (01:13):
She was there and gave a speech.
Speaker 2 (01:14):
My God, John O'Briant from Operation Hope. We had the
Fearless Fund founders that were honored as closers, the woman
who came up with the fifteen percent challenge. We're fifteen
percent of shelf space has to be dedicated to black
owned brands because we're fifteen percent of the population in
the United States. Eighteen different organizations and people were honored.
(01:34):
So we'd be talking to Shady Mohammad, who put together
this whole closes dinner and it's a chief marketing officer
at time. It's a Wealth Wednesday. Maynos in the building

Speaker 8 (02:14):
I want to shine a light on Brooklyn Ball president
Antonio Renoso.
Speaker 3 (02:18):
You know, he's the youngest Brooklyn Ball president ever.
Speaker 8 (02:22):
Okay, I like him, you know. So you know, the
mayor of our city was the Brooklyn Ball president.
Speaker 2 (02:27):
Yeah, Mayor Eric Adams exactly. He formerly was our Brooklyn
Borough president.
Speaker 9 (02:30):
You know.
Speaker 8 (02:31):
So shout out to him for you know, giving me
my day and making that happen. Shout out to Bianca
as well. I want to shine a light on both
of those. You know, they're doing a great job. And
like I said before, you know, we're gonna work closely
with his office and get a few things done.
Speaker 2 (02:45):
Okay, all right, I like that. I'm gonna help you too,
whatever you need from me. You know, I'm definitely supportive.
Speaker 3 (02:50):
Yes, I love.
Speaker 4 (02:51):
In his bio on Twitter, it says he says that
he is.
Speaker 2 (02:56):
The Brooklyn Borough president the greatest place.
Speaker 4 (02:59):
In the world.
Speaker 3 (03:00):
Of course, it's the same place that God was born.
Speaker 2 (03:03):
All right, Well, who do you guys want to shine
a light on? Eight hundred two ninety two fifty one
fifty is a number? Ryan, who you want to shine
a light on?
Speaker 10 (03:11):
Hey, I'm showing the light on my sister Jessey bro
she thriving, but she got her own crib after my
mom talks.
Speaker 11 (03:16):
I don't know her and put her out.
Speaker 10 (03:18):
Hey one month lady, look how god work?
Speaker 4 (03:20):
Wow? Your mom put her out?
Speaker 7 (03:21):
Why jealousy?
Speaker 10 (03:23):
She was like, oh you go all these package just coming.
Speaker 2 (03:25):
In and maybe okay, well she got her own place,
doing her own thing.
Speaker 3 (03:30):
Shout out to her.
Speaker 4 (03:31):
Yeah, shout out to her. What's her name?
Speaker 12 (03:33):

Speaker 10 (03:34):
He may no keep thriving, bro, I won't put this

Speaker 3 (03:37):
Right, yeah, gosh, I'll wrong with you.
Speaker 11 (03:43):
Give me a job, kay, Okay.
Speaker 7 (03:46):
I got a lot going on to New York in August.
Speaker 6 (03:49):
Hey, I'm moving to New York August.
Speaker 3 (03:51):
What's up?
Speaker 9 (03:51):
All right?
Speaker 4 (03:52):
Check out man? No d m him all right, thank you?
Speaker 5 (03:55):
All right?
Speaker 4 (03:56):
All right? Well that was shining light eight hundred two
nine two fifty one fifteen. She couldn't get through. You
could still shine a light.
Speaker 2 (04:02):
And when we come back, we have your yee T
and Terry crews next up on Club Shay Shaye, and
we'll tell you some of the things that we had
to say. I know you all on the edge of
your seats. It's way up.
Speaker 5 (04:11):
This says in the rooms from industry shade to all
the gossip out send Angela's spelling that yet it's way up.
Speaker 4 (04:20):
At Angela Ye.
Speaker 2 (04:21):
I'm Angela yee Maine us in the building morning. Let's
get into some yet. Now, let's get into Terry Cruz
on Club Shay Shay the audios out. The full video
is coming out today, but one of the things that
he addresses is the issues with Gabrielle Union. If we recall,
they were on America's Got Talent Together and she felt
and he was not. She didn't just feel this, but
(04:42):
he was not supportive during the time that she was
having issues and experiencing discrimination. She talked about this on
Jamil Hill's podcast and Terry Crews apologized at a certain point,
but he did not.
Speaker 4 (04:56):
I didn't feel like he was really that sorry at
that time.
Speaker 2 (04:59):
And so when he went on Club Shashee, he talked
about running into Dwayne Wade and Gabrielle Union and here's
what he said happened.
Speaker 9 (05:06):
Dwayne Wade TAM's coup to me. He just been a hug.
I said, man, can I talk to you and your
wife together? He said, man, come over here, and I
went right over. I said, I'm sorry Gabrielle because there's
things I didn't know because I'm speaking angry, but there
was so much of the story I didn't even fully
understand that I screwed that up. And then the internet
(05:29):
got involved, and then it was horrifying.
Speaker 2 (05:32):
I mean, he apologized on social media because Gabrielle Union
talked about how he was very unsupportive and there was
no solidarity. He even went on social media and said,
there's only one woman on earth I have to please.
Her name is Rebecca. Not my mother and my sister
and my daughters and coworkers. I would let their husband's
boyfriend's partners take care of them. Rebecca gives me wings,
and so I guess he felt like I'm not in it,
(05:53):
you know, at the time.
Speaker 4 (05:54):
Then he apologized on social media.
Speaker 2 (05:56):
Then he told people that he apologized three times and
if a fourth is needed, I will continue to apologize
and push for reconciliation.
Speaker 4 (06:05):
Here's what else he had to say. While he was
on Club Shasha.
Speaker 9 (06:08):
I apologize to her face. I can't go. Please please
accept this apology, and she gave me the biggest hug.
Duay and Gabby, I got nothing but the utmost respect,
and I'm just thankful. I'm thankful to call him friends,
and I'm thankful that they gave me this shot to
(06:28):
say that I apologize to their faith without the Internet.
Speaker 4 (06:32):
Yep, that's what you gotta do sometimes, that face to
face conversation.
Speaker 3 (06:35):
Yeah, it's needed.
Speaker 2 (06:37):
And a lot of times, you know, things could happen
and you could have been wrong in that time.
Speaker 4 (06:41):
There's nothing bad about saying I was wrong.
Speaker 3 (06:43):
I'm sorry. I mean, that's what we're human, adult people say.
Speaker 2 (06:48):
All right now, Joe Rule, he was supposed to be
performing in the UK and unfortunately they won't let him in.
He posted on social media. I'm so devastated. I can't
believe the UK won't let me in. I spent a
half million dollars in production of my own money to
put this tour together, only to be denied entry days
before my shows.
Speaker 4 (07:05):
This is not fair to me or my fans.
Speaker 2 (07:07):
These venues are eighty five percent sold and now I
can't come. And he did say the UK is one
of the few European countries that restricts entry to people
with criminal records. In general, you will likely be denied
entry if you have been convicted of a crime punishable
by twenty three months are more under British law, or
served more than twelve months in prison.
Speaker 3 (07:25):
Wow, did you know that? I didn't know that because
I've been to the UK.
Speaker 2 (07:29):
Right, I wonder if it's different if you have to
get like a work visa or.
Speaker 13 (07:35):
That.
Speaker 2 (07:35):
Yeah, we've heard people's stories being turned out.
Speaker 3 (07:38):
So much to get in Canada.
Speaker 2 (07:40):
Well, of course, you know when something like that happens,
fifty cent is going to weigh in. So fifty cent
went on social media and you know he said I
had nothing to do with this, be not getting in lol,
And then jar Ru responded and said, n word, you
vagina shut up.
Speaker 4 (08:00):
And yeah, so I guess.
Speaker 3 (08:01):
They're just it for the rest of ever, right, every
now and then. It's not every day, but every.
Speaker 2 (08:06):
Now nine years old, still going at it all right,
Well that is your yet, and when we come back,
we have about last night. Now, I had a long night,
and you know today is day three of my fast,
so I still haven't had any uh any solid food. Yes,
I didn't take my drops yet today, so I gotta
make sure. I think I have some for you. So
(08:27):
let's let me find out where those are. But I'm
in the midst of this detox, So it was hard
for me to be last night out recording. I was
doing lip service last night, and you know what that
environment is like. And then everybody ran out the room
to eat. I was just sitting there. But we'll talk
about it and we'll find out what you did last night.
In the meantime, here's Chris Brown busted rhymes that will win.
Look at me now, it's way up.
Speaker 7 (08:47):
So about last night. Last night, last night I went down.
Speaker 2 (08:52):
It's way up with Angela Yee. I'm Angela Yee and
Mayno's in the building. Yeah, and it's about last night.
Speaker 14 (08:58):
Now.
Speaker 4 (08:59):
You know, I'm on day three of this fast.
Speaker 2 (09:01):
You know how hard it is to be outside and
this food around, drinks around, walking around, smelling restaurant.
Speaker 4 (09:07):
Food, and you can't eat anything.
Speaker 7 (09:09):
Man.
Speaker 2 (09:10):
So I'm in the middle of this fast. So that's
what my experience was like. I'm doing the detox. Now
I'm looking it's like a reset fast, and so people
might ask what are you fasting for?
Speaker 4 (09:20):
But this is just a reset.
Speaker 2 (09:22):
It's fourteen days and it's a way to just give
your organs a break from breaking down all these different
foods and things that are inside of you. If you
have any health issues. A lot of times this can
really help with.
Speaker 3 (09:33):
That big discipline. I told you, I want to do it.
Speaker 2 (09:36):
Okay, I got you. And then I was doing my
podcast yesterday. I was actually one of the podcast episodes
that we did was with Selena Johnson. That's going to
be for International Women's Day, which is March eighth.
Speaker 4 (09:48):
So that was.
Speaker 2 (09:48):
Pretty cool because you know, we know Selena Johnson all
falls down. We know she's very empowering when it comes
to women. We've seen her on Marriage boot Camp. We've
also witnessed her on Ayana Fixed My Life, and she
also was a host, so she's great at just speaking too,
because she did Crowned. She had the show on Fox Soul,
(10:10):
you know, so she's been in those spaces and Sister Circle,
which I love too. So it was just great to
have that conversation about women in our lives who have
done positive things that have affected us, affected us, and
to be in a space that's all women and sit
there and have these discussions because women have been instrumental
in your life too.
Speaker 3 (10:27):
Many absolutely come from women.
Speaker 4 (10:30):
Yeah, absolutely, So what did you do last night?
Speaker 3 (10:35):
What did I do? I didn't do.
Speaker 8 (10:37):
I didn't do much because I knew I was gonna
come back here this morning. I knew I had a
full day today.
Speaker 4 (10:43):
In the studio all night tonight. I like that you
prepare for that.
Speaker 2 (10:46):
If you give me some advance notice on what I
need to do later, that's how I plan to schedule
my day.
Speaker 4 (10:51):
And you knew tell Us a Secret was today.
Speaker 3 (10:54):
And you know I lived for that.
Speaker 4 (10:57):
Tell Us, tell us a secret.
Speaker 2 (11:00):
Okay, well, this is the part of the show that
Mano lives for and the number is eight hundred fifty
one fifty. You can call us up any secret that
you want to tell us. We are here not to
judge you.
Speaker 3 (11:12):
Is this any judgment? Is it any judgment on your part?
Speaker 4 (11:14):
Always?
Speaker 2 (11:15):
And shout out to my girl Randy Rozario, who was
here from Detroit the other day. You know, she was
giving advice and she took it too far as far
as not judging. She was like, you're great, you're doing it.
I said, no, now that's too far. I would call
them great. I would have fired on it. This guy
wanted to break up with his girlfriend because he was
about to get this settlement money. Oh, and I was like,
(11:38):
she's not good with money. But that's a difficult thing.
But you guys, we're not going to judge you. Eight
hundred nine two fifty one fifty is a number? Call
us up, you're anonymous?
Speaker 4 (11:46):
Tell us a secret this way up?
Speaker 7 (11:48):
Please, yo, this is a judgment. Freeze on, tell us
a secret.
Speaker 4 (11:54):
What's up this way up?
Speaker 2 (11:55):
At?
Speaker 4 (11:55):
Angela?
Speaker 9 (11:55):
Yee?
Speaker 4 (11:56):
I'm angela yee? Manos here no man?
Speaker 3 (11:58):
Now know it?
Speaker 4 (11:59):
Why you got that judgment?
Speaker 7 (12:00):
Then?
Speaker 4 (12:00):
To look on your face already we haven't even done nothing.
Speaker 3 (12:03):
I'd give him the truth.
Speaker 4 (12:05):
Okay, Well, let's see.
Speaker 2 (12:06):
Eight hundred two nine two fifty one fifty isn't embercaller?
Step tell us a secret? Hello, anonymous caller, what's your secret?
Speaker 15 (12:14):
With my husband for fifteen years? Okay, and we've been
married for ten but I cheated on him and I
had a baby and it's not his, but he thinks
it's his.
Speaker 3 (12:23):
Why would you do that? But why would you do that?
Speaker 11 (12:26):
I didn't. I didn't want to.
Speaker 15 (12:28):
It was not like I was doing it on purpose.
It just kind of happened because we were not having sex.
And you know, things happened when you think.
Speaker 4 (12:36):
That baby's his. If you guys weren't even having sex,
well around.
Speaker 15 (12:40):
The time that I did have sex with him. It happens.
I want to tell him, but I just don't know how.
Speaker 3 (12:45):
So you want to let him just go about life,
you know. So how is the baby she's too?
Speaker 4 (12:52):
Is that your only kids?
Speaker 6 (12:54):
No?
Speaker 15 (12:54):
We have we have another daughter together.
Speaker 6 (12:57):
But that's it.
Speaker 4 (12:57):
Oh you got it. You've got a DNA test and
so you know for sure?
Speaker 15 (13:02):
No, I know for sure it's not his. Okay, So
the guy that I was talking to that she thought
him was white.
Speaker 10 (13:07):
So my daughter's like really really like it.
Speaker 6 (13:09):
You can you can.
Speaker 2 (13:09):
Tell that has he ever said anything to you like
this baby doesn't look anything like me?
Speaker 15 (13:15):
No, because you know his mother has white in his family,
so he just thinks that is Like.
Speaker 3 (13:21):
So where's the guy at It's like he's at work right.
Speaker 4 (13:24):
Now, But where's the other guy whose baby it is?
Does he know?
Speaker 15 (13:28):
Yeah?
Speaker 6 (13:28):
He do?
Speaker 3 (13:29):
You're still sleeping with him?
Speaker 15 (13:30):
No? No, no, I cut that off.
Speaker 4 (13:32):
So what do you want to happen? You want to
tell him and then and I don't.
Speaker 15 (13:36):
Want to tell home and work things out, but I
just don't know how, Like I don't want him to
take care of her and then it's not his, Like
I know, it's not his and I know it's gonna
hurt him, right, but I just don't know.
Speaker 2 (13:49):
And this other man knows too, and so at some
point he may want to step up and say something.
So you rather be the person I would think that's
gonna tell him kind of.
Speaker 15 (13:59):
Moved the state, So like a guy, I don't contact him,
like you don't talk or anything.
Speaker 4 (14:05):
Well that's a tough one.
Speaker 3 (14:06):
But you know, you got yourself in a Kinki day.
Speaker 4 (14:09):
Yeah, you got yourself in a pickle for real.
Speaker 15 (14:11):
Yeah. I don't know how to tell him. I do
want to tell him though, Okay, want to divorce too,
So you.
Speaker 3 (14:19):
Want to divorce, you want to divorce, you want you
want to divorce.
Speaker 15 (14:25):
He might still want to be together.
Speaker 2 (14:29):
Listen, I know this saying about advice, but if you
care about him at all, tell him the truth and
let that man be free. And if he decides, you know,
to try to fight for you whatever. But if he
is on the fence and you want to divorce anyway,
at least care about him enough to let him live
truthfully and free.
Speaker 8 (14:47):
Yeah, and you owe it to the child. The child
needs to needs to know who's her father.
Speaker 15 (14:52):
Well, he's been around the other guy, so.
Speaker 2 (14:56):
Yeah, oh yeah, tell him all right, Well, listen, we're
not here to judge you, but thank you for sharing
your secret with us.
Speaker 3 (15:03):
She about that time, all right, you too?
Speaker 4 (15:07):
At least she's gonna tell him, Yeah, sure she is.
Speaker 3 (15:09):
What year?
Speaker 4 (15:11):
Listen, that's not an easy thing to have to tell somebody.
Speaker 3 (15:13):
How easy it was it to lay down on another man?
Speaker 6 (15:16):
Though?
Speaker 3 (15:16):
Was that easy?
Speaker 4 (15:17):
Okay? Mano, it's no judgment.
Speaker 3 (15:19):
I'm judging.
Speaker 2 (15:20):
I see all right, Well that was tell us a
secret eight hundred two nine two fifty one fifty. In
case you couldn't get through, you could always leave a
message for last word. And when we come back, we
have your yee t and Andy Cohen. The lawsuits are
coming in accusations. Will tell you what Liah McSweeney from
Real Housewives of New York has to say, following what
Brandy Glanville had to say, it's way up.
Speaker 5 (15:41):
Sure she's about to blow the lead ab off this,
but let's get it. Oh yeah, Angela's feeling that yet,
Come and get the tea.
Speaker 4 (15:48):
It's way up with Angela.
Speaker 2 (15:49):
Yee, I'm Angela yee menos here yeah, I know all right, now,
two producers, this is Get Behind the docu series that
Wendy Williams said that they originally meant to chronicle Wendy's comeback,
and then things took a turn, and they told the
Hollywood Reporter that at a certain point, we were more
worried about what would happen if we stopped filming than
(16:09):
if we continued. Okay, it was supposed to be a
documentary that would follow her journey back into her career
doing a podcast. We thought it was a great idea,
and we were hopeful that Wendy's story would be redeeming
and we'd be able to document this journey. But as
we filmed, it became evident that this wasn't really going
to be a career comeback story. This was going to
be a deeper story and there was something ultimately disturbing
(16:30):
going on in Wendy's life.
Speaker 4 (16:32):
So two days.
Speaker 2 (16:33):
Prior to the air date, Wendy Williams team confirmed in
the press release she'd been diagnosed with dementia. And you
see what the result was, right, It was definitely hard
to watch.
Speaker 8 (16:44):
Yeah, I seen clips. I didn't see a lot of it. Yeah,
she's not in a position and making a comeback.
Speaker 2 (16:51):
Right at all? You know, we just hope and pray
that she gets better. All right, Cardi B is making
a return to music. You know, she's put out singles
here and there, but we're waiting for the full album. Well,
yesterday she reposted on her Instagram story a quick snippet
of the song from a fan account. She has a
hashtag Cardi countdown in the text and here is what
(17:13):
this snippet sounds like. It's a Missy Elliott sample on here.
Speaker 8 (17:16):
I've got trust me after so.
Speaker 2 (17:20):
Many, that's all we got for you. Yes it any
al that that came after ys? You know what that means?
Y s al Baby. She can't dress though, I will
tell you she'll put it on. Now, let's talk about
Andy Cohen. Leah McSweeney, you know her from Real Housewives
of New York, has some allegations against him. She posted
(17:40):
a long post on social media. She said, this is
not a story I ever thought I would be telling.
In fact, I was petrified to speak on it and
was worn not to. Today, my attorneys file the lawsuits
against my former employers. Your favorite Bravo shows are run
by people who create a dangerous work environment and courage
substance abuse. To artificially create drama and cynically pray on
(18:01):
the vulnerabilities of their employees. Some of the stories and
incidents that are detailed in the lawsuit have been shown
in edited form on TV or reported in media, but
many have not. So she goes on to discuss having
love and respect for many of the Bravo talent and
getting to know them was a positive experience in all
of this, and she said, I may be a pariah
to them after this, but I do hope my lawsuit
(18:22):
helps Reality TV to align with its true purpose. And
if you recall, Brandy from Real Housewives of Beverly Hills
also has asked for a personal apology from Andy Cohen
after she claims that he sexually harassed her. She said,
I have not received a personal apology from anyone. I
saw an apology that Andy posted to his fans for
(18:43):
his mistreatment of me and inappropriateness, but he has not
apologized to her directly, So you know, that's the problem
that she's having with his conduct. And I mean, everything
is coming out right now, I feel like, you know,
when it comes to stuff that's going on in the world.
So Kathy Griffin also claims that Andy Cohen offered her
(19:05):
cocaine before Watch What Happens Live, And this was years ago,
so that she made these claims. She said, right before
we went live, he asked if I wanted to do below.
She said, you guys know, I'm no prude, but I'm
like kind of straight straight age. I thought he was kidding.
Speaker 3 (19:19):
Yes, she wanted to do a bump.
Speaker 4 (19:21):
Yeah, yeah, so there you have it. Somebody asked me that.
Speaker 2 (19:24):
The only time somebody ever asked me that was once
I was in the club and she said, do you
like to party?
Speaker 3 (19:28):
You like to party?
Speaker 4 (19:29):
Yeah? I didn't know what that meant.
Speaker 2 (19:30):
All right, well that is your Yet when we come back,
we have under the radar. These are the stories that
are not necessarily in the headlines. They are flying under
the radar. Let's talk about a man who ended up
making his wife lose her job and he himself is
facing criminal charges. Will tell you what happened in their relationship.
It's way up under the radar.
Speaker 5 (19:47):
Next, yeah, news, this in the news that relates to you.
These stories are flying under the radar all right.
Speaker 2 (19:53):
Time for under the radar, MANE are you ready? I'm ready, Angela,
And let's talk about in Texas, a man facing insider
trading charges.
Speaker 4 (20:01):
And jail time. You know what he did.
Speaker 2 (20:04):
His wife was on the phone and she was giving
some information over the phone for her job she works
for She did work for BP.
Speaker 7 (20:14):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (20:14):
His wife was a mergenc And acquisitions manager and they
were planning to acquire a truck stop operated Travel Centers
of America and her husband was ease dropping on that
call right. And then after that he went and purchased
shares of travel center stock after learning of the impending merger,
and when the share price popped seventy one percent after
(20:35):
the announcement, he sold his shares and made more than
one point seventy six million dollars. You cannot do that, okay,
you cannot get inside information. So Tyler Lauden is now
facing criminal charges for this. He made a serious mistake
in judgment, according to his lawyer, that he deeply regrets
and for which he has taken full responsibility. He did
not tell his wife about the purchases, so she's not involved.
Speaker 4 (20:57):
She did, however, lose her job because of that.
Speaker 3 (21:01):
Right do they take the money back?
Speaker 4 (21:04):
I'm pretty sure they do it.
Speaker 2 (21:05):
It feels like you're not allowed to do that, and
so his wife has since moved out of their shared home,
ceased contact with him, and started divorce proceedings after all
of this happened. Duh, you cannot do that, all right?
And Netflix is going to raise prices again, just letting
you guys know. That's another update the AGA. Yes, they're
going to hike prices on streaming plans in twenty twenty four.
(21:26):
They're saying that will accelerate their revenue and earnings growth
and they expect to see rate increases this year according
to analysts.
Speaker 4 (21:34):
So we'll see how that happens.
Speaker 3 (21:36):
This is ridiculous, that's crazy.
Speaker 2 (21:38):
All of these different streaming services and we keep on
having to have these price hikes. So we'll see what
happens with that. I wonder if people are going to
get rid of their Netflix all right? Well that is
you're under the radar.
Speaker 1 (21:48):
You know.
Speaker 2 (21:49):
We got the way it mix at the top of
the hour and we have from time. The chief marketing
officer Shade Muhammad joining us today for Wealth Wednesday.
Speaker 4 (21:57):
Recently, she did an event for the closers.
Speaker 2 (21:59):
These are the people who are helping to close the
wealth gap, and is on the cover of that particular issue,
and she was also at the event. But we'll discuss
different things that can be done and what she herself
has done along her journey to become the first ever
black woman and a chief marketing officer by the way,
first epritique marketing officer. Period for time to be in
(22:21):
that position. All right, it's to wealth Wednesday. It's way up.
She's like to talk like they Angela Jean like they
Angela Jean.
Speaker 7 (22:29):
Man, She's spilling it all. This is yet way up.
Speaker 4 (22:34):
It's way up with Angela Yee, Angela Yee.
Speaker 7 (22:36):
And may now.
Speaker 2 (22:39):
It's here with us. All right, let's get into some
yet Poorscha Williams. She wants to make sure that prenup
is enforced in her divorce from her I guess estranged husband.
Speaker 4 (22:49):
Now, people were saying this was a storyline, things like.
Speaker 3 (22:52):
That she stole him from other girl, right and then yeah,
came to the house.
Speaker 4 (22:59):
I don't know what's going on with this.
Speaker 2 (23:01):
But she also wants Simon to pay her legal fees
regarding this case, but his funds could be tied up
with other issues. So the divorce is currently in progress,
and she also has changed her name on social media
back to her maiden name, Portia Williams.
Speaker 3 (23:15):
I like that, you like that? Yeah, you're not keeping
that last name?
Speaker 6 (23:18):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (23:18):
She I mean she was known as Portia Williams.
Speaker 2 (23:20):
Commercial all right, and Kodak Black has welcomed a baby
boy with his girlfriend February twenty seventh, so that is yesterday.
She posted the February twenty seventh, a prince was born,
So congratulations to them.
Speaker 4 (23:35):
All right.
Speaker 2 (23:36):
Hit Maker is talking about some things, right, and he
discusses some issues he had with Diddy. These are work issues,
not some of the things are the reasons you see
Meek mil trending. Stop it what I'm to say? It
was trending today, you know, I mean, I click going
why is this trending? And I'm sure at some point
Mick is going to say something in response to these
(23:56):
allegations in this lawsuits out. All right, Well, hit Maker
says that did he try to sabotage his career and
also still talent from him like Jozzi. You know that
was an artist that that hit Maker had on some
of the demos.
Speaker 3 (24:12):
So he was working with her first, Yes, he.
Speaker 2 (24:14):
Was working with her first. So he was on the
Joe Button podcast. And here's what he said.
Speaker 7 (24:18):
Puff hit me.
Speaker 16 (24:18):
He like, Yo, I'm doing an R and B album.
I need you, you know, you the guy. You know
it's going to be London on the track. You and me,
and I think that we should do everything together. Blah
blah blah. I sent him a ten clip and he
was like he hit me back, like I want that
berg stop, like, stop trying to be me. So I
didn't send him nothing.
Speaker 9 (24:34):
Right.
Speaker 16 (24:35):
Next thing, I know, they deciphered my records and reached
out to everybody that I collaborated with and dissected me
from a situation. He took my tag out of it,
and I was like, damn, this is really diabolical.
Speaker 2 (24:46):
All right, He goes down and took about other things,
like him calling one of his producers, Cardiac to his
house and telling him you need to be one of
the hit men. Then they said, next thing, Eric Bellinger
is in the Bahamas with him and they're singing songs together.
When was he working with Eric Bellinger before that? He
also says that Diddy took his producer tag off the
intro to French of Montana's They Got Amnesia.
Speaker 4 (25:05):
Album and things like that.
Speaker 2 (25:09):
So you gotta hear everything that he has to say
another person and all these Diddy stories are coming out
right now.
Speaker 4 (25:14):
Who has some things to say about Diddy? It is
Columbus Short.
Speaker 2 (25:17):
He was on the Boss Talk one on one podcast
and he fails that did he tried to groom him.
Speaker 4 (25:22):
Here's what he said.
Speaker 12 (25:23):
The BET Awards were happening in town. I didn't go
because I was nominated. So about two something thirty in
the morning, phone ringers a know number. I don't answer
on no mombers, but you know, my wife's looking at me.
Speaker 7 (25:33):
Like, yeah, yeah, who is that?
Speaker 9 (25:35):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (25:35):
Picked that out and put it on speaking heyked, who
is this? Shine?
Speaker 9 (25:39):
Oh?
Speaker 3 (25:40):
It's good? He said, we didn't see We didn't see
you the night at the BET Awards. What you doing?
Speaker 12 (25:44):
I was like, oh, man, I'm at the crib. He said,
I'm over here at the Beverly Hills Hotel. I said,
oh for real, So who over there?
Speaker 9 (25:52):
Just me?
Speaker 12 (25:52):
I'm like, nah, man, I'm in bed. Maron, I'm good.
Speaker 3 (25:55):
He was like, I an just hung up.
Speaker 2 (25:59):
Everybody got a story now, right, all right? So there's
a lot more things happening trending right now. You can
click on it yourself and see. And lastly, I want
to talk about Drea de Matteo from the Soprano. She
played Adriana on there. She was a huge star and
a soprano.
Speaker 1 (26:17):
You know.
Speaker 2 (26:17):
She did an interview with The Daily Mail that came
out yesterday and she said that she only had ten
dollars in the bank and was about to lose her
house and that's when she joined OnlyFans. It was the
last resort. She was able to pay off her mortgage
within five minutes. She said she was in forecloser. Her
house had flooded. She was trying to sell it quickly
before they took it. At the same time, she said,
I lost my mom and my other mom, who has dementia,
(26:38):
had run out of money for her caregiver.
Speaker 4 (26:40):
I didn't know which way was up.
Speaker 2 (26:42):
She said within five minutes of posting on OnlyFans, she
was able to get herself back on track financially. She
was able to pay back the real estate company. And
she said she did not want to originally partake in
Only Fans at first, but now she's definitely changed her
mind about that.
Speaker 3 (26:56):
What kind of content does she post.
Speaker 2 (26:58):
There's some of the pictures in the Daily Email that
you can see. You know, at first She said she
was gonna just have her boyfriend rubbing her.
Speaker 3 (27:04):
Feet, but then she went all away.
Speaker 4 (27:06):
You have to add a little something.
Speaker 2 (27:07):
She didn't say she went all the way, but she
did say, anybody that wants to condemn me and put
me down, go for it. I just hope you never
find yourself in the position. Right, I was in to
take care of two little kids.
Speaker 3 (27:17):
That's right.
Speaker 2 (27:18):
One time for OnlyFans, one time for OnlyFans.
Speaker 4 (27:22):
And that is your yet.
Speaker 2 (27:24):
And when we come back, we have ask Yee eight
hundred two ninety two fifty one fifty is a number.
Call us up any question that you have. We are
here to help you out.
Speaker 4 (27:32):
It's way up. In the meantime, let's here.
Speaker 2 (27:34):
It's somebody who we both love, Sizza with Snoop, Yes
we do, but it's relationship for career advice.
Speaker 7 (27:39):
Angela's dropping facts Sho. You should know this is aske.
Speaker 4 (27:43):
What's up? Its way up with Angela Yee.
Speaker 2 (27:45):
I'm Angela Yee and I'm here with my award winning
advice giving friend new Mano eight hundred two ninety two
fifty one fifty.
Speaker 4 (27:52):
We have Jacks on the line. What's up?
Speaker 6 (27:53):
Jack's who's going I'm good.
Speaker 4 (27:57):
What's your question for me and Mano?
Speaker 10 (27:59):
Well, in a relationship for a few years with a
woman that I truly care about everything about her. But
she she she's married, but she's separated.
Speaker 6 (28:09):
Okay, she's separated for a long time.
Speaker 10 (28:12):
So I got a lot of stuff good going on
for me. I'm not no fell in. I don't got
a whole bunch of baby mamas. I ain't been arrested,
you know, I don't got a whole bunch of Yeah,
but she does have a child. Should I feel bad
about leaving that relationship?
Speaker 4 (28:26):
Well? Why are you leaving? You just don't want to
be with.
Speaker 10 (28:28):
Her, that's not it's more of a spiritual thing.
Speaker 6 (28:32):
I believe they get married for God, and so you know,
there's a covenant that two people come in agreement with
and you know, regardless of whether they are, you know,
together or not, just still a tough at each other
as the boy.
Speaker 4 (28:45):
But how come you mess with her for all these
years already.
Speaker 6 (28:48):
Because I care about her?
Speaker 8 (28:49):
Excuse me, listen, you don't want to be with her
because she's a she's married, she's married, Okay, you're in
love with her.
Speaker 4 (28:58):
Why aren't they divorce yet?
Speaker 2 (29:00):
Because divorce is a long process.
Speaker 6 (29:03):
Insurance purvacy Apparently he has great insurance.
Speaker 2 (29:07):
I'm not going to tell you have to stay with
somebody who is still married, because if that's something that
weighs on you and that bothers you, I can't take
that away from you.
Speaker 4 (29:14):
But what you can do is is I'm.
Speaker 2 (29:16):
Not understanding if the only reason she's still married is
because she wants to stay on this man's insurance, that's
a silly reason to just stay married.
Speaker 4 (29:24):
And maybe what you need to do is.
Speaker 2 (29:25):
Step up and help her figure out how to make
sure she sets up her own situation so she can
be independent from her estranged husband and get that divorce
so you can be more comfortable. If she's not willing
to do that, then it feels like it's more than
just insurance.
Speaker 6 (29:43):
I really appreciate your time, and I.
Speaker 2 (29:44):
Will say I interviewed Selina Johnson Phillip Service yesterday. She
told me her first marriage, even though they didn't have
anything to split up, it took three years to get divorced.
It's a long process, and she said they spend a
ton of money, so divorces are expensive. So get to
the root of what the issue is, and then see
how you can be supportive in helping her figure out
how she needs to navigate, because it isn't easy.
Speaker 6 (30:05):
I'm kind to be supportive, you know, but you know
I still have more experience and more learning.
Speaker 3 (30:10):
I'm only thirty one.
Speaker 2 (30:11):
So listening to you talk, it kind of feels like
you want to do some other things, because even how
you describe yourself and then describe her, it feels like
you look at yourself as I'm an amazing catch and
I want to be back outside.
Speaker 6 (30:24):
It's too way new stuff outside that I don't really
you know, want to either you know, dulge in or
you know, be lied to. People have yes, and so
you know, you meet someone and you know they may
be lying, and so now you're caught up in the track.
I know she's okay, you.
Speaker 4 (30:45):
Know she's honest.
Speaker 2 (30:46):
So let's focus on the positives with this person who
you claim that you love and figure out is there
a path forward and what needs to happen.
Speaker 3 (30:53):
Well, just stay with her while she married man.
Speaker 4 (30:55):
You know he's been doing it.
Speaker 2 (30:58):
Well.
Speaker 4 (30:58):
Thank you Jacks for calling, well, thank you for your time, all.
Speaker 2 (31:02):
Right, appreciate it, And that is ask yee eight hundred
two nine two fifty one fifty in case you.
Speaker 4 (31:07):
Couldn't get through.
Speaker 2 (31:08):
And when we come back, it is a Wealth Wednesday,
and we do have the CMO Chief Marketing Officer for Time,
shau Day Mohammad, joining us.
Speaker 4 (31:14):
It's way up.
Speaker 1 (31:15):
I've had a dream of wealthy and I don't mind
sharing my wealth dogs getting you straight financially, mentally and physically.
Speaker 7 (31:23):
This is Wealth Wednesday. On way up with Angela Yee.
Speaker 4 (31:26):
What's up?
Speaker 2 (31:26):
It's way up with Angela Yee. I'm Angela Yee. And
of course it's a Wealth Wednesday. So my partner Stacy
Tisdale is here.
Speaker 4 (31:32):
Happy Wealth Wednesday, everybody.
Speaker 14 (31:34):
We are going way.
Speaker 4 (31:35):
Up with a queen today.
Speaker 2 (31:37):
Shauday Mohammed is here. She is the Chief Marketing Officer
of Time. By the way, amazing event. I actually was
at your closers event the other day. It was such
a great room to be in and to see you
being honored to you know, Shauday, for the work that
you've been doing. So let's talk about what the closes
are for people who may not know about this closes.
Speaker 4 (31:56):
Listen about closing this racial wealth gap.
Speaker 13 (31:59):
Yeah, so it is eighteen black leaders and it was
really important that everyone on that list be black who
are closing the racial wealth gap, and so we all
know that the stats are you know, incredible about how
many years and generations it will take to do that,
and it's a lot that we're up against. And so
the opportunity there was to say, I want everybody looking
(32:20):
at and say old time something about that, because that
means something when we can say we're bringing attention to
this issue at a time when a lot of people
are rolling back.
Speaker 2 (32:30):
And it's very diverse to the different feels that we're
touching on here. You know, it's healthcare, it's entertainment, it's sports, policy,
policy making. Even the founders of the Fearless Fund, you know,
that was really important to me in particular because this
fund has helped so many black and brown women with
(32:50):
their businesses, but they're getting under attacked.
Speaker 4 (32:53):
They're under attack, which.
Speaker 2 (32:54):
Is I don't even understand how that's possible for discrimination.
Speaker 14 (32:58):
And when you I'm so glad you said that about
Feeler's Fun because they've invested over forty four million dollars.
I believe in black businesses and what you're saying about
DEI being rolled back, yep, from mere vantage point what's
going on.
Speaker 13 (33:13):
I think with George Floyd, there was a clear message
of we're putting a lot of money towards making sure
we right the wrongs and we create opportunity for black people.
And I think what you're seeing is the opposite of that,
and folks coming in and wanting to roll all of
it back. And so there's an attack on folks who
are coming out front and saying, yes, we are working
(33:36):
on this issue. But I think it takes lists like
Time to closers, that's just one piece, but it takes
us like that to say we're still behind the people
who are doing this work, because sometimes what happens is
they want to write a stake wiet right, and then
things can just go through fall off. So I think
that's why it's like so much more than a list.
It's like it's saying we are documenting this issue right now.
Speaker 4 (33:59):
It's wealth way.
Speaker 2 (34:00):
I'm with Stacy Tisday and we are talking to Shade Muhammad,
the chief marketing officer of Time.
Speaker 4 (34:05):
That's why this whole fearless fun thing has me so like.
Speaker 2 (34:10):
Like I want to make sure we're aware of that
and we know what can we even do to make
sure that we're supporting the work of the Fearless Fund
because I think of like businesses they've helped, like Slutty Vegan. Yeah,
Pink was there, Yes, he was there, just thinking about
things like that and the importance of making sure that
because we don't get the VC funding that other groups
of people get, even though we are starting our businesses,
(34:31):
it makes it a lot more difficult.
Speaker 4 (34:32):
But to see that we have resources. The main thing
for us is we need to be in those positions
to fund our own too, absolutely.
Speaker 13 (34:40):
And that's why the work that Yeah, Aaron and Leona
are doing is incredible because they have our back in
rooms that we're not in, and so that's often who's
who's under attack, people who see that whole supply chain.
Speaker 14 (34:51):
And just so people know what's going on with Fearless Fund,
they are being sued for discrimination by the same group
that brought us all up with the Supreme Court in
a firm of action this summer, So now they're being
forced to use a lot of their funding to fight lawsuits,
and an even bigger issue for them, they were just
about to get another round another series of funding for
their own fund, and that's all been held up all
(35:15):
because of this lawsuit.
Speaker 2 (35:16):
Like imagine saying we don't want to help black women
who are undeserved when it comes to funding, and we're
going to actually put a step to it and hurts
the calling discrimination right.
Speaker 13 (35:26):
And that's how you see how important dollars are because
they're pooling dollars and they're under attack, and so that
just shows you that's who has a target on their back.
And so that's why we try to make the focus
of this list economic because it's yes, it's a social
justice issue, yes, all of these things, but at the
root of it, it's economic.
Speaker 4 (35:45):
It's a Wealth Wednesday.
Speaker 2 (35:46):
Stacy Tisdale is here and we have more with our
guest Shaddy Muhammad, the Chief marketing Officer at Time when
we come back.
Speaker 1 (35:54):
I've had a dream of wealthy and I don't mind
sharing my wealth dogs.
Speaker 5 (35:58):
Getting you straight financially, men and physically. This is wealth Wednesday.
On way up with Angela ye.
Speaker 4 (36:04):
What's up?
Speaker 2 (36:04):
His way up with Angela Yee? I'm Angela yee. It's
a wealth Wednesday. I got Stacy Tisdale here with me.
We're talking to chief Marketing Officer at Time, Shatay Mohammed Stacy,
you got a question.
Speaker 14 (36:14):
Now you're the CMO of Time magazine, talk about the
mindset that that takes. Because a lot of people in
our community, we know the things we're supposed to do,
we know that they're supposed to be these things. But like,
for example, Working Mother and Media did a study, eighty
percent of Black women plan to leave corporate America because
of the mental health toll. Yeah, having to assimilate, you know,
(36:36):
just the depression of the constant microaggression.
Speaker 3 (36:39):
You could not have avoided that. Yeah, how did you still.
Speaker 14 (36:42):
Maintain your sense of self?
Speaker 13 (36:44):
Yeah, No, that's a great question, that sense of self
and not being willing to compromise. You know who I was,
and there are places where I felt like that I
had to do that and I left. And so you know,
I always say go where you're celebrated and not tolerated.
Speaker 14 (36:57):
Ninety percent of people of color feel like they can't
be their authentic selves in the workplace.
Speaker 13 (37:02):
Yeah, and so I'm hoping that someone sees me and says, oh,
she's wearing her hair raised. Maybe I could do that too,
Because I don't have the answers for how we fix it.
But I think just every person.
Speaker 4 (37:14):
Who says I'm going to just be me and then
it has to be good enough.
Speaker 13 (37:18):
And if it's not, it's not because we're literally killing
ourselves right by trying to be someone different, by trying
to show up in a way that we think will appease.
And I've gotten tons of you know, negative feedback as well,
and just being willing to say okay.
Speaker 2 (37:35):
Right now to wealth Wednesday, I'm with Stacy Tisday and
we are talking to Shade Mohammad, the chief Marketing Officer
of Time, you know, along those lines. How were you
approached about being the first ever named CMO of Time magazine?
Tell me how that happened that conversation. Was it something
that you were pushing for or not at all?
Speaker 3 (37:53):
Not at all? You got this job without pushing for it?
Speaker 6 (37:56):
Correct?
Speaker 13 (37:59):
How It's all our CEO, Jessica Sibley. So we worked
together for many years at Forbes, and so what happened
was I wasn't on her team, but we were in
a meeting. We were in a client meeting and it
was a biggest account. I remember her passing me notes.
This is the first time we really interacted. She was
like trying to pass me notes.
Speaker 4 (38:18):
Of what to say next.
Speaker 13 (38:19):
I'm looking at this.
Speaker 6 (38:19):
She like, I got this.
Speaker 13 (38:23):
And so after that meeting, she I think she was like, oh,
and then I just tried. I was everywhere. I tried
to do everything. I was coming from being a page,
coming from being an intern. So I'm like, I want
to do all of it. I want to go to
the event, I created this platform for nonprofits. Like, I
was just everywhere trying to do everything. And so I
think I learned a lot about the business very quickly
and where there was opportunity, and you know, there was
(38:45):
a part a transition period at Forbes where I was
I need to figure out what to do next, and
she said, tell me what you want to do, and
so I pitched about six different roles and I ended
up landing on pitching this head of di had a
coverage and inclusion practice, and I first didn't want to
pitch it because I'm like, Okay, I'm going to be
the black v Ee lady.
Speaker 3 (39:06):
But then I was like, you know what, if I'm
going to be here, I have to do this right.
And a lot of it.
Speaker 13 (39:12):
I was so scared because I'm like, you mean, I
can do this, and she's like, just do it. I
started to build up that confidence of like, my ideas
are good, I know how to execute, I know how
to do this, I know to do that. And so
when she got the when she got the roles the
CEO of time, I remember, I was devastated when she left,
(39:33):
and she called me two weeks later and said, I
want you to be CMO. I had that, you know,
that imposter syndrome of like me, you know, and so
I've had to work through that. But now I think
now I see, like I.

you did it anyway.

Your willingness to be scared, your willingness to do things
when it doesn't it's not going to feel great.

Speaker 2 (40:07):
Like, I don't know if this is how they're gonna feel,
but you never know what things can morph into.
Speaker 13 (40:12):
And not being afraid of know right, most of the
things I've heard, no hearing notice is not an indictment
on you. Or your idea, but allow it to like,
how can I refine this? How can I get to Yes,
maybe it's here, maybe it's not. But I think just
being unafraid of the no has helped to.
Speaker 4 (40:29):
