Yes, we got text from him, so we know he's coming.

Today's the day for Tronics, his network to launch. Today's
also the day that Donald Trump is in town. I'm
following everything that's happening. His hearing starts right now, so
his motorcaide has arrived at the court ahead.

Speaker 4 (00:38):
Of his pre trial hearing. This is for his hush
money criminal case hush money.

Speaker 2 (00:42):
Today is also the deadline for him to secure that
bond in his four hundred and sixty four million dollars
civil fraud decision against him.

Speaker 5 (00:49):
She's active for him today.

Speaker 2 (00:50):
They have until today, and if he can't find the money,
they can start seizing some of his assets to finance
his obligation. So a lot going on with Donald Trump. Yes,
Plus I believe he's running for president.

Speaker 4 (01:01):
I believe. I believe so.

Speaker 3 (01:04):
Yes.

Speaker 2 (01:04):
Also, I see there's going to be like snowstorms in
certain areas.

Speaker 5 (01:07):
Ooh, but I know what snow in Detroit the other day.

Speaker 2 (01:10):
Yeah, they're saying it's going to be kind of bad.
It's what month is it? March April?

Speaker 5 (01:14):
I love the snow.

Speaker 3 (01:15):
All right.

Speaker 2 (01:15):
Well, Jamaine Duprie is going to be joining us today
talking about Freak Nick, that documentary that is, it's on Hulu.

Speaker 3 (02:00):
Not just any brand, on my own brand.

Speaker 4 (02:02):
And let's shine a light on vic Mensa.

Speaker 5 (02:05):
Okay.

Speaker 8 (02:06):
Now.

Speaker 2 (02:06):
The reason we're doing that, and Jasmine you talked about
this too, yes, is because he actually wrote a book.
He wrote a check for the bookstore, a book joint
in Chicago to be able to stay open. This is
in Boxville, and so he gave them a check for
seventy two hundred dollars through his cannabis line ninety three boys,
and that's going to pay the rent through April twenty
twenty five.

Speaker 5 (02:26):
Nice.

Speaker 2 (02:27):
Yes, And this bookstore, it's a black owned bookstore that
specializes in black authors. And they also were on the
Today Show, so that helped as well to keep this
bookstore open.

Speaker 5 (02:36):
Beautiful, I need to start buying my books from bookstores
as opposed to going online to yeah Amazon exactly.

Speaker 2 (02:42):
It's a mother and daughter own bookstore. So shout out
to them, and shout out to Vic Mensa as well.
All right, well, who do you guys want to shine
a light on? Eight hundred two nine fifty fifty Antonio,
Who do you want to shine a light on?

Speaker 9 (02:54):
Oh?

Speaker 10 (02:54):
My wife, Jazz four year broot was here today.

Speaker 4 (02:57):
So you guys have been together? How long you said married?

Speaker 7 (03:00):
Four years?

Speaker 2 (03:01):
Four years? Okay, four years together? That's a nice it's beautiful.
Oh yeah, death, what are you gonna do for your anniversary?

Speaker 8 (03:10):
Well?

Speaker 10 (03:10):
If you thinking on the helicopter ride yesterday, went.

Speaker 4 (03:12):
Out to eat.

Speaker 2 (03:13):
What's your favorite type of food? Say you said that
with no hesitation?

Speaker 4 (03:18):
All right?

Speaker 2 (03:19):
Oh yeah, well, thank you for calling and shout out
to her. Shout out to Jazzmine, we love you.

Speaker 4 (03:24):
All right.

Speaker 2 (03:25):
Well that was shining Light eight hundred two nine two
fifty one fifty in case you couldn't get through. And
when we come back at yea tea time and Candace
has decided to exit, Real Housewives of Potomac will tell
you some more things that are happening on that franchise.

Speaker 4 (03:39):
It's way up.

Speaker 2 (03:39):
Eat is next, they say, is in the rooms.

Speaker 6 (03:43):
From industry, shade to all of gods that out send
Angela's feeling that eat.

Speaker 2 (03:49):
It's way Appamandela ye and Jasmine brand is here.

Speaker 3 (03:51):
I'm not just any brand. I'm my own brand. Girl.

Speaker 4 (03:54):
Let's do this. Yeat piping hot today, all right?

Speaker 2 (03:58):
Real Housewives up home at Candice Dillard after six seasons,
she is out, all right, she said. This is not
a farewell, but see you later, she said, as I
embark on a new chapter after six remarkable years with
the Real Housewives of Potomac, I'm filled with gratitude for
the enriching friendships, personal growth, and moments of introspection that
have defined this journey. With a whirlwind of new opportunities

(04:21):
and responsibilities on my plate, I have decided to take
a break from Real Housewives. Oh yes, it was a
tough year.

Speaker 5 (04:28):
I wish she would have broke the news on your
show when she co hosted would you All? Last week?

Speaker 2 (04:31):
Well, it feels like a lot of news just broke
over the weekend because Robin Dixon is also allegedly not
returning after season eight. And this is a Jasmine Brand exclusive, Yes,
give us the dets.

Speaker 5 (04:42):
Well, the details aren't the production. They are shaking up
things with the cast. I heard that they're taking away
three people from the show, and so allegedly Robin Dixon
is being put on you know, hiatus. She'll probably return
for future seasons and cannas, and there's another person they're
going to probably not have return.

Speaker 4 (05:04):
What do you think that third person's going to be?

Speaker 2 (05:06):
I don't know if you had to guess, Well, you guys,
let us know who you think.

Speaker 4 (05:09):
But I tell you who. It won't be me at Thornton.

Speaker 2 (05:12):
Okay, because she revealed some things on the Real Housewives
of Potomac and during a trailer for the season eight
of The Reunion, Andy Cohen is saying that, you know,
alleging maybe she is their son is not her husband
Gordon's biological son. But here is what Gordon had to

(05:34):
say about the two of them having an open relationship.

Speaker 8 (05:37):
I had a prostate cancer. My things Organs weren't working
like they used to. On my seventieth birthday, I said,
you know, if you find someone that you think you
want to start spending time with, I want you to
know I'm okay with that. But I have two rules.
One be the street. Two, don't get the kids involved.
And in this case, you did both.

Speaker 3 (05:57):
If you gave me your blessing, then why are you so.

Speaker 8 (06:00):
Because you were throwing it in my face and you
took the kids around him.

Speaker 4 (06:03):
Who that'll do it? Because they had rules.

Speaker 2 (06:05):
And when Candice was up here, she was talking about
that too, that they had rules. And she also told
us that Gordon tried to call and give them some tea.

Speaker 5 (06:13):
I saw that. I saw that you guys posted that
and that was I guess that was the tea that
he was trying to tell the cast about.

Speaker 3 (06:19):
Na.

Speaker 2 (06:20):
Here is what else and Mia has been red carpeting
it up with her with her new boo, her new man,
But it doesn't seem like that's her new man, incogniti.

Speaker 4 (06:28):
It seems like they've been together for a minute.

Speaker 2 (06:30):
Yeah, and here is what was said about perhaps their
son is not his?

Speaker 8 (06:35):
Why did think that Jeremiah was his kid?

Speaker 4 (06:38):
Years ago? Told him, I said, hey, I'm pregnant.

Speaker 11 (06:41):
I also wanted you to know that the timeline that
this baby might not be yours. And he said that
he loves me and he's going to raise his child
as if it.

Speaker 12 (06:51):
Was his and no maternity every classes.

Speaker 3 (06:54):
Not that I know.

Speaker 5 (06:55):
Wo wow MEA's a legend.

Speaker 2 (06:59):
The fact that he told her that she could see
other people just be discreet and that she was not
at all.

Speaker 12 (07:08):
She broke all the way.

Speaker 2 (07:09):
But that's and I got to revisit this clip. We
can't because that is a lot to put on someone.
Go ahead, go sleep with other people, do your thing,
but don't have any feelings.

Speaker 5 (07:17):
Don't Is that possible?

Speaker 2 (07:19):
Probably not, because you also aren't going to go sleep
with a whole bunch of different people, So you might
have one person.

Speaker 4 (07:24):
Yeah, that's like your go to.

Speaker 5 (07:25):
And also this guy with somebodya she dated back in
the day, so she really gonna have feelings for this guy.

Speaker 2 (07:31):
Well, you know she's been married for eleven years or
twelve years, Well, yeah, eleven years and then they split
up and they have two kids, a son and a daughter,
and they both have one child from previous relationships.

Speaker 5 (07:44):
But I don't know, Gordon looks good for seventy.

Speaker 2 (07:47):
Yeah, I don't know what's going on here. But he's like, look,
my stuff's not working. That's supposed to be hard.

Speaker 4 (07:51):
For you mentally.

Speaker 5 (07:52):
Can you imagine saying that on national television, my stuff's
not working.

Speaker 2 (07:57):
Well, she'll be on the next season for sure. Oh yeah,
I can't say she saved this season. All right, Well
that is your ut. And when we come back, we
have about last night. That's where we discussed what we
did last night. I know it was the weekend. H
You always send me videos of you and your daughter.
I do you know, it's super cute, but we'll talk
about it. It's way up, n so about last.

Speaker 12 (08:17):
Night last night, last nights.

Speaker 7 (08:20):
I went down.

Speaker 4 (08:21):
It's way up, Amanda la yee. Jasmine Brand is here.

Speaker 5 (08:24):
I'm here, Angela.

Speaker 2 (08:24):
It's time for about last night. I haven't seen you
in a minute, So what was happening with you last night?

Speaker 5 (08:29):
Last night and the whole weekend, I was just being
a mom, you know, you know, just chilling, living the dreams,
having a few cocktails in between Chase and my toddler.

Speaker 4 (08:37):
That's it, all right.

Speaker 2 (08:38):
Well, this weekend I actually went to the ribbon cutting
and grand opening for a Sluttie Vegan. Wow, So shout
out to yes our girl Pinky Coast. She opened her
fourteenth location fourteenth. This location is in Manhattan. It's on
Bleaka Street's in Soho and she's actually going to be
on the show for Wealth Wednesday.

Speaker 5 (08:55):
Perfect.

Speaker 2 (08:56):
She stopped through here on Friday, and she talked about
some things that she's never talked about before when it
comes to her restaurant and one location that didn't work out.
It's a really interesting conversation that she has. And you know,
sometimes in business, people always tell you like you have
to give it time, you have to let things work out.
But how do you know when it's time to be

(09:17):
like this plug is not working porta plug, Because then
you start thinking in your head, like, all right, it
could just be one more thing that could help save
this And sometimes you have.

Speaker 4 (09:26):
To realize it's time to go throwing.

Speaker 2 (09:29):
Money into something and it's not sustainable and I don't
see a way out. And so we'll be able to
discuss all of those things. But congratulations to Pinky. It
was pouring raining by the way, like it was like
a month soon here, and so I got there early.

Speaker 4 (09:46):
It wasn't even open yet.

Speaker 2 (09:47):
I got there so early, and then I ended up
going to a brunch spot in the city.

Speaker 5 (09:51):
I never do things like that, right, So yeah, in
the city. You know, I've never had sloody began before.

Speaker 4 (09:56):
You haven't never ever already have I you're here week.

Speaker 2 (10:00):
There's one in Brooklyn, there's one in Harlem, and now
there's one in Soho. Okay, so definitely make sure you
have some study vegan. You know, I took mine with me.
And what's great about is you go in there and
they yell things at you. Okay, you know, you get fluodified,
oh in the store? Okay, all right, Well, when we
come back, we have tell us a secret eight hundred
two ninety two fifty one fifty is a number. Anything

(10:20):
that you want to tell us, you know, we keep
it confidential, so we don't need to know your name.
You are anonymous, and you also, you know, can tell
us anything and we won't judge you. That's the whole
point of it. Eight hundred two ninety two fifty one
fifty is a number.

Speaker 4 (10:35):
Call us up and tell us a secret. Is way up?

Speaker 11 (10:37):
Ohay, yup?

Speaker 4 (10:40):
This is a judgment free zone. Tell us a secret.
What's up?

Speaker 2 (10:44):
As way up with Angela? Ye, I'm Angela, yee. Jasmine
brand is here? Yep, I know you missed this. Tell
us a secret.

Speaker 5 (10:49):
Yeah, that's one of my favorites.

Speaker 2 (10:50):
All right, Well, we have some anonymous callers calling in
eight hundred two nine two fifty one fifty. Hey, anonymous,
call it, tell us a secret.

Speaker 10 (10:58):
I wanted to bring you out such and I caught
my wife cheat in last weekend.

Speaker 4 (11:02):
Oh I'm sorry, that's crazy.

Speaker 10 (11:04):
Six years marriage, eight years together.

Speaker 4 (11:07):
How'd you catch her?

Speaker 10 (11:09):
On Friday? Her car broke down, so she sent me
her location and never cut it off. She actually ended
up in the city and I followed the ping and
she ended up in the hotel.

Speaker 4 (11:23):
Wow, so did you go?

Speaker 5 (11:25):
Did you go to the hotel?

Speaker 10 (11:27):
Actually did because I was in the house with my
kids and to do it right, right, because I knew
once I brought it to attention it was going to
be passed, thrown in my face the past. Yeah, basically
I did my third and I admitted I ad minute
after the fact that I got caught or whatever. Real
man admits to his wrongs and makes him right. Okay there, yeah, now, yeah,

(11:53):
we we got a lot of investors. You know, I
got a six month old, five year old wow shook
and a sixteen year old out of the marriage, and
she has her fifteen year old, So things are going
to work out for the better.

Speaker 4 (12:06):
What are you going to do to be able to
move forward? What has to happen?

Speaker 10 (12:10):
Clean slate? Basically on both sides, you know, the respect,
the layer you see everything that that marriage cif get
says on it, we both basically in.

Speaker 4 (12:19):
It ain't a bay by it.

Speaker 5 (12:20):
You're not gonna You're not gonna cheat again either though, right.

Speaker 4 (12:23):
No, both of you.

Speaker 2 (12:24):
Are you gonna cut? Are you guys going to share
your locations with each other moving forward?

Speaker 10 (12:28):
I mean it can happen if it If it's acts, definitely.

Speaker 2 (12:31):
Right because both of you now can share both of
your locations as part of a way to feel more comfortable.

Speaker 4 (12:38):
Comfortable, Yeah, trust, trusting, the comfortable, you know.

Speaker 10 (12:41):
The trust, the trust has to be built back again.

Speaker 2 (12:44):
I'm hoping you guys, both on both of your ends,
are able to work through this. You know, maybe y'all
got to go see family therapy, couple's therapy, something so
that you can figure out some other things that maybe
our conversations that might be difficult to have that y'all
need to have with each other. Definitely, definitely, But thank
you for sharing with us.

Speaker 5 (13:03):
Good luck.

Speaker 10 (13:04):
Yeah, thank you, thank you for listening. I appreciate y'all
and I listened to every day.

Speaker 2 (13:08):
Okay, we appreciate you for sharing with us. And that
was tell us a secret. When we come back, we
have your y E T.

Speaker 4 (13:14):
And guess what.

Speaker 2 (13:15):
Ray J is in the building. It's a big day
for him. Trynics is launching today, so you know, ray
J and E T go hand in hand.

Speaker 6 (13:22):
It's way up, yo, She's about to blow the lead
abof this, but let's get it. Angela's building that ye,
Come and get the.

Speaker 4 (13:28):
Tea, all right, get the T. It's way up. Ray
J is in the building.

Speaker 12 (13:34):
Are you Jasmine brand is here?

Speaker 5 (13:37):
We are we live?

Speaker 12 (13:38):
I was talking about but Tater talks you ready for
some yet.

Speaker 2 (13:42):
Well, first of all, let's talk about trying. It's a
big day.

Speaker 12 (13:46):
Trans network t R O n I X network. Everybody,
bear with me. This is a new this is a
new channel. It's a new O t T, it's a
new app. The IP is up now.

Speaker 5 (13:58):
It's OTT over the top. Oh I thought it was
a real time.

Speaker 4 (14:03):
Okay, go ahead, no OTT, okay, it's over the top platform.

Speaker 12 (14:06):
That's the streaming platform. Gotcha, just like you know Paramount
plus or BT plus.

Speaker 2 (14:12):
Now I saw you cleared off your whole Instagram page
and the posts are basically, uh, you know, all about tronics.

Speaker 12 (14:20):
All about tronics and family and family mixing. My family.
I've been with my son for two weeks now. My
daughter came out Great Care right Rape Care Foundation. Know
why because I saw him.

Speaker 4 (14:33):
It's on site.

Speaker 2 (14:34):
They were saying that perhaps Princess had an issue with
not seeing her son, but she's out here too with
the kids.

Speaker 4 (14:41):
Yeah, I mean we both miss our kids.

Speaker 12 (14:43):
Like that's that's her baby baby. Yeah, you know what I'm saying.

Speaker 5 (14:46):
So you better not be keeping Princess love from her boy.

Speaker 12 (14:49):
As soon as as soon as Epic said, Mama caught
her and showed her.

Speaker 4 (14:53):
She said, I'm I'm on my way, I'm on the plane.

Speaker 12 (14:56):
He was having fun at first, but then he said,
you said, this is where, this is where.

Speaker 5 (15:01):
We're all right.

Speaker 2 (15:03):
And also with the new network, what do you how
do you feel about people saying, oh, this is all
this fighting and this is negative.

Speaker 12 (15:09):
They dragging in the comments, Ray Jae, You know what
to be dragged in comments is to be misunderstood, okay, mean,
and that just means that you don't have the full
picture yet, right, So you're you're creating something that is
affecting you of what you see now, but if you,
you know, watch the different sizzles, you can see the

(15:29):
balance and you can see there's real love or real pain,
real emotion. Like our story arcs don't just lead to
the fight and that's it that there's there's destinations that
we take you. We we created what you see now,
So it's like, I don't We've always got that kind
of energy, but our production has a story arc that

(15:50):
leads you somewhere.

Speaker 1 (15:51):
Now.

Speaker 2 (15:51):
One thing I will say that Rey j told us
at the screening is that the relationship with the with
the cast members don't stop when the cameras stopped rolling.

Speaker 12 (15:59):
Yeah, I'm saying, it's not about it's not about a book.
And everybody that we're partnering with with Tronics, we're all
gonna eat together. Like there's never gonna be a time
where everybody eats beef. Everybody eats right and everybody. Everybody
can can tell me what they don't like about what
they see, and I just take it right out, you
know what I'm saying. I just take it right out

(16:19):
because it's not about making somebody look bad. It's about
you telling your story, and that might be some bad
stuff that happened through the process.

Speaker 4 (16:26):
Okay, all right, Well, let's get.

Speaker 12 (16:29):
The craziest content in the world though, so they can
say what they say. I got the I got the
craziest content.

Speaker 2 (16:34):
He's here all morning, so we're gonna be talking about Tronics,
you know, all morning and afternoon.

Speaker 4 (16:38):
All right, But now let's.

Speaker 2 (16:40):
Also talk about allegedly Spice accidentally revealed that Jada Kingdom
is allegedly pregnant.

Speaker 4 (16:47):
We don't know that this is true, but here's what happened.
You're pregnant.

Speaker 2 (16:57):
So she basically was like, you're pregnant, and then she
realized you out You never told them you never talked
to party's girlfriend.

Speaker 5 (17:03):
I'm just saying Angela was an interpreter.

Speaker 4 (17:06):
I was hearing it. I'm like, wait, Angela interpret for
us one more time.

Speaker 2 (17:17):
Angela tell us basically she was like, oh, you're pregnant,
you got a baby. And then she was like, then
she realized you never told anybody.

Speaker 4 (17:28):
Yeah, and you never talked yet.

Speaker 2 (17:31):
The way you just explained because it didn't sound like
that because they were on live.

Speaker 12 (17:36):
But that I love. I love that. I love that
accent though, you know what I'm saying.

Speaker 4 (17:40):
Like, yeah, you're prince with Safari, so you know.

Speaker 12 (17:42):
I'm saying, I mean, I don't love his accent. He's
my friend, but I like I like the women.

Speaker 1 (17:46):
Women.

Speaker 5 (17:47):
I like when Drake Drake has that does that accent.
It was so funny to me.

Speaker 4 (17:50):
I can't understand who was about a sexy accent like that?
Who else.

Speaker 5 (18:00):
Ready to so? Is Jada Kingdom? Am I saying her name?

Speaker 4 (18:03):
Right? Y? Jada Kingdom? All right, well that is allegedly
what now what were.

Speaker 5 (18:09):
You going to say allegedly somebody's pretty.

Speaker 4 (18:12):
No, allegedly, I was tweaking.

Speaker 2 (18:15):
Okay, when you come back, we have under the radar.

Speaker 4 (18:19):
These are the stories that are.

Speaker 2 (18:20):
Flying under the radar, and one of them has to
do with would you have a problem, And this is
for you.

Speaker 4 (18:26):
Guys are both parents.

Speaker 2 (18:27):
If your kid's teacher was a rapper outside of school,
would that be an issue for you?

Speaker 4 (18:32):
We'll talk about it.

Speaker 2 (18:33):
Because this woman lost her job because she's also a rapper.

Speaker 4 (18:37):
That's just you know, it's a little side thing. Well,
you know, it depends under the radar. When we come back.
This way up news.

Speaker 6 (18:44):
This in the news that relates to you. These stories
are flying under the radar.

Speaker 2 (18:49):
All right, it's way up. It's under the radar and
ray from radars here.

Speaker 12 (18:54):
That's what's up. I'm really happy to be here this week.
I really came back to say thank you.

Speaker 5 (18:59):
And this voice hilarious.

Speaker 2 (19:01):
It's like, well, congratulations. But let's get into some under
the radar stories.

Speaker 4 (19:06):
Okay, all right.

Speaker 2 (19:07):
A teacher was fired in the Detroit area. It was
at Taylor Preparatory High School and that is because outside
of school she's a rapper and some of the parents,
I guess, had some issues with that. She also was
voted teacher of the Month in December, but one parent
complained that she was a bad influence on her students.
And here is what Dominique Brown aka Dripping Honey had

(19:29):
to say.

Speaker 13 (19:30):
Nobody knew I was a rapper until the parent kept
continuously complaining. The first meeting that I had was like
the principal. And then they had told me that the
parent wished to stay anonymous, and she felt as if
she didn't like my rap career and that I was
a bad influence on the kids because I rap.

Speaker 2 (19:48):
That's crazy, and this is something she does outside of school.
She says, she's been teaching for seven years and she
even has signatures from students. They started a petition because
she's such a great teacher. They didn't want her to,
you know, not work at the school anymore. But they
gave her an ultimatum. They said, you have to either
delete all of your contents and all of your raps
and all of that, or you know, you're gonna lose

(20:10):
your job.

Speaker 4 (20:10):
What was the wraps? Such subject matter.

Speaker 2 (20:14):
Have a little clip for you. She actually did this
song with some of her students.

Speaker 12 (20:19):
On that stand.

Speaker 4 (20:20):
And that'll tell me if it's okay.

Speaker 13 (20:23):
You got baby going crazy like that, going crazy like
the eighties.

Speaker 4 (20:35):
I don't like it.

Speaker 12 (20:36):
I'm one of the most uncut person in the world.

Speaker 5 (20:39):
You said fire here.

Speaker 4 (20:39):
I mean I've just heard what I heard. You know
what I'm saying.

Speaker 12 (20:42):
They would fire me right when I said yeah, I mean,
you know I'm fired at school if I'm like the world.
But I like it if she gets fired, she can
come work for me, because like it's all like you
fired from there, but you hired here.

Speaker 5 (20:58):
Dripping honey. You got you hi hire by ranging like.

Speaker 4 (21:01):
Miss Kigans and dripping honey.

Speaker 2 (21:03):
That's just because she's now trying to take legal action
against the.

Speaker 4 (21:07):
School, she's gonna take legal action on me.

Speaker 2 (21:11):
But and I will say the thing is if she
was a great teacher and this was outside of school hours, yeah,
you know, and these kids, like I would say on
YouTube you have to a lot of times. If it's
content that kids aren't supposed to see, then.

Speaker 5 (21:28):
It shouldn't be I don't think they should have told
her that she had to remove her content from her
those are her pages. They have different I don't like, No,
that's not right.

Speaker 12 (21:36):
But if the topics were in like a uh, you know,
a super like aggressive verbal.

Speaker 5 (21:44):
Would you let your daughter and son have her as
a teacher, would you be okay.

Speaker 12 (21:47):
I mean I'm lit. My kids is lit. So yeah,
I'm cool with everything because my kids know how to
how to handle this.

Speaker 2 (21:56):
What if she was fighting on the Chronics Network other teachers, Yes.

Speaker 12 (22:00):
The teacher, I'm fighting, fighting, fighting for her rights.

Speaker 2 (22:04):
Okay, all right, Well that is under the radar. And
you know, we got the way up into the top
of the hour. Plus Jermaine Duprie is going to be
joining us today talking about that Freaknick documentary that is
on Hulu.

Speaker 4 (22:15):
It's way up.

Speaker 2 (22:17):
It's like the to like they Angela Jean, like they
Angela jee Man.

Speaker 6 (22:21):
She's spilling it all.

Speaker 4 (22:22):
This is yet way up. It's way up. I'm Angela Yee.
Jasmine brand is here.

Speaker 5 (22:30):
Yes, I'm here brand, I'm my own brand.

Speaker 4 (22:33):
Ray J's in the building.

Speaker 12 (22:35):
You better know it. Ray trying to do now.

Speaker 2 (22:37):
I don't know if you've been paying attention to what's
going on in the yet, but apparently Drake is allegedly,
according to rumors, going at it with several people. Now,
things got a little crazy on the future of Metro
Booming album with Kendrick's verse like that.

Speaker 4 (22:52):
Here's what Kendrick said.

Speaker 7 (22:54):
The first place to shoot out.

Speaker 4 (22:55):
I hope they came with three switches.

Speaker 14 (22:57):
I crush out like threat this many mild if I
had two got two teams with um snatching chains and
burning tattools. Just lost too many soldiers.

Speaker 7 (23:04):
Not the players say. If you walk around, this won't
trut the location.

Speaker 14 (23:10):
I still gut PTSD the Big Three because it's just
big meat, best work.

Speaker 7 (23:18):
It's a leech prince outlet Jack.

Speaker 14 (23:21):
Are your dogs getting buried? That's the ky With all
these nouns, you gonna see pet cemetery, all.

Speaker 2 (23:27):
The dogs getting buried. Okay, the cemetery.

Speaker 5 (23:31):
You didn't get it. Angela interpret what he was who
he was talking about.

Speaker 4 (23:35):
He was, well, obviously you know when he talks about
the Big Three, that's from the j Cole and Rake.

Speaker 2 (23:41):
Yeah, and he's saying it's no Big three, it's just me. Yeah,
oh yeah, you're saying about the Big three. That's something different.
And then when he he referenced all the dogs, he's
talking about Drake there and he says pet cemetery.

Speaker 5 (23:55):
What's the pet cemetery?

Speaker 4 (23:56):
Is that the dog? Yeah? Okay, they're gonna die now.

Speaker 2 (24:00):
Metro Booman has responded to speculation that Drake in future
are beefing because people were trying to say they're beefing
over a woman. They actually even posted this woman. It
usually is pretty. It usually is about that she's pretty,
and what else is it going to be about? But
metro Booman said yeah, and we're start making stuff up
for engagement and enjoy the music.

Speaker 4 (24:17):
So that was him.

Speaker 5 (24:18):
If you'd like to see what else be about, If
you would like to see a picture of a young lady,
you can see her on the Jasmine brand.

Speaker 12 (24:23):
Yes, oh wow, yep, oh Joe, I'm going to it now.

Speaker 2 (24:26):
He's gonna look now, oh my god, she is yount
even have your phone in your hand.

Speaker 4 (24:29):
I know I'm promoting, okay, but I do want to say.

Speaker 2 (24:34):
You know, metro Booman and Drake have been having their
issues and if metro Booma don't trust.

Speaker 5 (24:38):
You, I'm gonna shoot you. That's what that's what that's
what you.

Speaker 4 (24:43):
He meant with this camera. Yeah, yeah, exactly exactly.

Speaker 12 (24:48):
Friend.

Speaker 4 (24:48):
Now Drake did go.

Speaker 2 (24:50):
Drake actually said something at one of his shows and
it felt like he was very passionate about this.

Speaker 4 (24:55):
And here's what Drake said.

Speaker 11 (24:57):
A lot of people.

Speaker 4 (24:59):
Got life.

Speaker 5 (25:14):
It's not an N word on this on this earth.

Speaker 4 (25:17):
He's got his back straight, Tintoe down.

Speaker 2 (25:20):
I think it was just a confident, like, yes, how
he's feeling with all this going on happens.

Speaker 12 (25:25):
He was talking to everybody, and people are.

Speaker 2 (25:27):
Pointing out that Rick Ross and nav have unfollowed Drake
on Instagram.

Speaker 4 (25:32):
I just don't know, you know.

Speaker 1 (25:34):
Who do?

Speaker 4 (25:34):
How do people see that? Like who's start jopping?

Speaker 12 (25:37):
Come on, I don't even know how shout out to
all the dudes, but shout out to Drake too. I
got Grammy nominated with Drake when he's simple one wish
on views. I just instantly became a Grammy nominated writer.

Speaker 4 (25:49):
That's right, that's right.

Speaker 5 (25:52):
So you're right since because of that, you're right with
Drake on everything?

Speaker 12 (25:55):
Now, No, I mean, you know we are Grammy.

Speaker 2 (25:59):
You know we have to start put in respect on
the ray J's name. And now from now on he's
a Grammy nominated writer.

Speaker 12 (26:06):
I think, well, well, yeah, he's sample one wish and
then we were one wish, so I guess we'll I'm
a Grammy nominated writer.

Speaker 4 (26:13):
I think, yeah, okay, we're not mad at it.

Speaker 12 (26:15):
I don't know it's important.

Speaker 2 (26:17):
They gave me my plot, all right, now I wanted
and Kanye. Now, let's also talk about Tyler friend zoning
Kai Sanatt. They were actually on Twitch streaming. Of course,
you know, she got to promote. She got a new
album out that people are loving and comparing her to Rihanna.

Speaker 4 (26:35):
And here is what happened.

Speaker 7 (26:37):
Tyler, would you like to go on the day with me?

Speaker 4 (26:40):
Yeah, don't do that?

Speaker 7 (26:42):
What you mean why not?

Speaker 4 (26:44):
I'm serious? But we're friends. You're right right out.

Speaker 5 (26:55):
He had to know that if he asked for that
on his live stream, that there's a chance that she
may say, I'm good.

Speaker 4 (27:01):
To put her on the spot.

Speaker 5 (27:02):
She might have a man, she might She's a cute,
pretty pretty woman.

Speaker 4 (27:05):
Yes. Have you been never friend zoned? Y J? Friend zoned? Yes?

Speaker 12 (27:11):
Like had to girl like I was a friend?

Speaker 3 (27:13):
No, a girl that you liked.

Speaker 5 (27:15):
But she she was like, no, we're just friends.

Speaker 12 (27:19):
Know how to do that? I don't know how to
do none of that. Okause, I've been I've been with Princess,
and before Princess, I never gave it. Okay, I never
went on the date because I didn't.

Speaker 4 (27:32):
I didn't.

Speaker 12 (27:33):
My mentality was somewhere else right. I was more in
a more of aggressive like field. Of things, but then
Princess changed my life that I love it. But now
I'm back, all right, one wish?

Speaker 4 (27:45):
All right, well that was your ye. When we come back,
let's talk to ray J. I never love again. Okay,
don't say that, no meaning I'll never love again.

Speaker 2 (27:56):
It's all about ray J when we come back, okay,
and we're going to discuss with him his way up more.

Speaker 4 (28:02):
Now are we here? Are we live?

Speaker 3 (28:05):
Are we live?

Speaker 4 (28:06):
It's way up?

Speaker 2 (28:06):
I'm here, Yeah, Rayj is here? Jas this break is.
I love about you. I know you're not a nuriss.

Speaker 12 (28:12):
I love these doctor dre beats.

Speaker 4 (28:16):
Why I haven't been able to say that in a long.

Speaker 5 (28:19):
Time, because oh, okay.

Speaker 4 (28:23):
Headphones, these are great. All right? Well I love the
JB as well. Okay, I love the boys because it's Raycon.
I'm free. You're free, You're no longer. You sold your company?
What made you decide? What made you decide to do that?

Speaker 3 (28:37):
Ray J?

Speaker 4 (28:37):
When you sold Raycon got your it was just.

Speaker 12 (28:40):
The right time. It was the right time tronics. What
was happening now. And to to just make that transition,
uh with those kind of funds just gives me the
power to like navigate through the stars, like how I
want to and then also make sure my kids and
family is one hundred percent straight for life.

Speaker 5 (29:02):
So now you have more money? Are you worth more now?
But you left liquid Liquid?

Speaker 4 (29:06):
Yeah, I'm smarter, Okay, okay, all right?

Speaker 2 (29:09):
Where I work more, Like, how do they feel about
you exiting the company and selling your shares?

Speaker 4 (29:16):
No?

Speaker 12 (29:16):
They like we worked it all together, like we're all
one big understanding of people and control and like taking
a company to where you needed to go, you need
control and lose control then it might go another way.

(29:36):
So what we what we all said was let's all
win together.

Speaker 5 (29:41):
And like Angela was saying earlier, sometimes you got to
know when it's time to part ways and on to
the next chapter.

Speaker 12 (29:46):
You got to know when to hold them.

Speaker 2 (29:47):
And people have issues with people also building a company
and selling it, but that is really the way that
you're able to invest in other things, other people and
continue to grow. Yeah, I'm two for two two two
Scootie bikes. Oh I remember Scooti bikes. Yeah, the Scooty bikes,
but lick I remember that. All right, Now let's talk
about tronics because today is a big day.

Speaker 12 (30:07):
So I'm about to be three for three hopefully, but
hard work five years of consistency and making sure that
subscribers subscribe everything that they need.

Speaker 2 (30:17):
So people can subscribe. Now, So how are we looking
as far as subscribers.

Speaker 12 (30:22):
It's out of control. It's out of control four ninety nine.
And the quality of this this content is at the
highest level.

Speaker 5 (30:30):
It doesn't look like movie.

Speaker 12 (30:31):
There's no other company, there's no other competitor that can
edit and shoot it like we can and make it
look good. Also, we got the music coming out with Tronics.
I got the first single ever from Tronics Music Group.

Speaker 4 (30:44):
Is that with Suki Hanah, that's what suk It's called
pipe you Down? Of course it is right, I think

vibe bye bye Raider Okay, not not vibrator.

Speaker 4 (31:11):
But by Angela. We have to sit for the vibrator.

Speaker 5 (31:14):
We have to subscribe because Angela and I usually share accounts.

do is she has an open window. You know what
I mean.

Speaker 4 (32:20):

Speaker 2 (32:22):
She gotta do something with her poker, yes, cause she

Speaker 12 (32:32):

All right with that, jam Duprez up next to him?

Speaker 7 (38:01):
You way up with Angela?

Speaker 2 (38:02):
Ye more, now, what's up his way up with Angela Yee.
I'm Angela Yee and my girl Candace from Real Housewives.
The Potomac is here, and we had Jermaine dupri In,
the Bilders.

Speaker 4 (38:14):
The legend, the Jermaine. All right, well let's talk about you.
Let's talk about Freak Nick.

Speaker 2 (38:19):
Yes, the documentary The Wildest Party Never Told.

Speaker 4 (38:23):
It's not what we thought it would be.

Speaker 11 (38:26):
I was shocked because when it first came out that
you were doing this documentary, I think the world kind
of like was shaking in their.

Speaker 4 (38:32):
Boots a little bit.

Speaker 11 (38:33):
But no, crap, it's gonna be this thing talking about
my mama to working on top of cars, and it
was the complete opposite.

Speaker 5 (38:41):
It felt like a.

Speaker 4 (38:43):
History lesson, like a black history lesson.

Speaker 7 (38:46):
That's what it is.

Speaker 15 (38:46):
It's a It's a story that just needed to be
told in the South, you know, and the culture of
hip hop and culture period, we had been neglected, you
know what I mean. Our stories haven't been told the
way other people's stories have been told in hip hop.
And it's actually the first story Atlanta Southern hip hop
to be told on this type of stage. So shout

(39:07):
out to Hulu, shout out mass Appeal and everybody that
helped bring this to life.

Speaker 7 (39:12):
I think it's gonna be a big learning.

Speaker 2 (39:13):
Lesson for a lot of For sure, I definitely learned
a lot. It just makes me think of like during
that era. I mean, we had the tunnel in New
York and Freaknick is something that Atlanta had that.

Speaker 4 (39:23):
Was like legendary.

Speaker 15 (39:24):
It'll never yeah, you'll never have it, I mean, and
and so many things that was happening during Freaknik, Like
we had one twelve, We had outcasts, you know, outcasts
came out of freaking I mean they didn't come out
of Freaknick, but they the artists used freak Nick as
like the mixtape here in New York basically, so it
was more or less like when freak Nick is coming,

(39:46):
get your product, get prepared.

Speaker 4 (39:48):
Right now, Jamain dupri is here.

Speaker 2 (39:49):
We're talking about the documentary freak Nick that's on Hulu
right now.

Speaker 4 (39:53):
Just think about how we.

Speaker 2 (39:54):
Used to not mind being stuck in traffic while all
this is going on because there's music playing. Yes, people
outside getting off the car getting free you know, music
and T shirts and.

Speaker 15 (40:05):
Yeah, manual lifestyle. We're just in a digital lifestyle. Like
if you were looking at your phone or something. You
would miss everything going on. So back then it was
just like a wanted thing.

Speaker 2 (40:16):
And also this is like in college. A lot of
us are broken in college, so going to the chech
club is different. Yeah, if you don't have money to throw,
if you're not buying drinks, like you could be outside.
I remember in the car all the that I took
when I was in college and had no money.

Speaker 4 (40:31):
Yep, yaw, do you take a trip. Just get one
of my friends with drive, you pull your money, we
all go get in the car.

Speaker 1 (40:37):
Drive.

Speaker 2 (40:38):
We're in one hotel room and we're women, so we
go out and we don't have to pay for any ring,
you know, And that's just how it used to be.
We'll be like, let's go to South Beach for Memorial
Day weekend. We knew we didn't have to pay. We
would literally be sitting outside eating and a guy would
come and be like, I pay for your mail.

Speaker 4 (40:54):
That's what it used to be like.

Speaker 7 (40:56):
But I thought about that prior.

Speaker 4 (40:57):
Yeah, we know as women that we don't have to
have money like guys did.

Speaker 1 (41:00):
To go out.

Speaker 7 (41:01):
That is crazy. Fellas this privileged.

Speaker 4 (41:05):
More than us. That is what people pay, right, Yes, Taraji,
thank you Taji.

Speaker 2 (41:12):
Yes, but think about it as a man, like when
you went out, you did have to pay for stuff
more than a woman.

Speaker 4 (41:18):
I was broke.

Speaker 7 (41:19):
My experience of Freakni was the broke experience.

Speaker 2 (41:22):
Experience in the traffic because the party a lot of
times is in the parking lot.

Speaker 4 (41:27):
Yeah, the street, it's not actually inside.

Speaker 11 (41:29):
Of a Yes, the leatout. They used to call me
a letout because I love the letout. The best time,
like the club, when the club lets after the club
lets out, that's the best time.

Speaker 7 (41:40):
Not beating the club. Yes, I've never heard that.

Speaker 11 (41:44):
Like you go to the club, get your bottle or
do all that, and then you leave the club and
you stand outside and you see who I was in there,
and you're talking.

Speaker 7 (41:52):
We call that parking lot pimping.

Speaker 4 (41:55):
Okay, aka.

Speaker 2 (41:58):
All right, Cannas is here from Housewives that Potomac. We
are talking to Jamain Dupree. We have more with him
when we come back. Freak Nick is available on Hulu
right now. It's way up you way up with Angela
Yee more now what's up? Its way up at Angela Yee.
I'm Angela Yee and Candice Diller. Basket Premiere housewivese A.
Potomac is here, not to be confused with any other candids,
and Jamain Duprie is here. Now you also have the

(42:21):
Magic City documentary at the same time, shout said my
girl gg and and that she was miss Magic City.
By the way, how did Drake end up getting involved
with Magic City?

Speaker 15 (42:34):
Because the crazy part about Drake wanting to go to
Magic City and being into the whole culture of Magic City,
He's from a different country. That in itself says a
lot about that club. If you're in a whole different
country and you want to come to Atlanta to go
to Magic City, and you want to get there on
Monday so that you have experience exactly what's happening, and

(42:55):
then once you go, you go back home and you
start talking about it and you put it in your
songs and you still from another country out it shows
the power that that club has.

Speaker 7 (43:04):
Listen.

Speaker 2 (43:04):
The first time I went to Magic City, I walked
in and Gig jumped off of somebody like Angela naked.

Speaker 7 (43:10):
I was like, Hey, did you just act like you was.

Speaker 2 (43:14):
Like no, I was with my friends and I was like,
I've never been here before. Let's go as soon as
we walked in.

Speaker 4 (43:18):
That happened.

Speaker 2 (43:19):
They were like, yeah, you never been here. I'd be like, no,
that's gig. She's on lip service with me. She does
the podcast with me, So we're good to go right now.

Speaker 4 (43:26):
Jamain dupri is here, JD. You are like really doing
a lot to document a lot of things happening in Atlanta.
What other untold stories are there that you want.

Speaker 7 (43:35):
To not just Atlanta? I think of South period.

Speaker 15 (43:37):
I think, like I said, I feel like the South
has not been interesting to Hollywood for some reason. And
pray to God that this documentary does what it's supposed
to do so that we can get more stories. This
is a lot more stories to be told about the South.
You know, just even my story. You know, my story
in itself. People don't know the Jermaine Dupre story.

Speaker 7 (43:56):
They know what they heard.

Speaker 15 (43:58):
They got little pieces and this, that and the third.
But if it was like my life would be different
if you knew my story.

Speaker 4 (44:03):
Who would play Jermaine dupri and the Pre story.

Speaker 7 (44:06):
We talked about doing this a long time ago, but Lorenz,
that's my homieing.

Speaker 11 (44:11):
Yes, okay, Lorenz, get him on the line, cause you're
you're gonna do your story right, like you have to.

Speaker 4 (44:17):
Yeah, I hope so, but say it would be different
like if people.

Speaker 7 (44:21):
If you take it for example, like sports.

Speaker 15 (44:22):
If in sports, if a kid comes into sports at
nineteen twenty years old and he wins the Super Bowl
that first year and he came out, ESPN.

Speaker 7 (44:33):
Would have made a whole It would have been like
this freak of nature.

Speaker 4 (44:37):
Right.

Speaker 7 (44:38):
I did that.

Speaker 15 (44:39):
I put out my first group, Chriscrouss at nineteen. They
first record became a number one Hot one hundred record.
We won the super Bowl immediately. But hip hop sean
didn't make it. It seem like it was like something
that wasn't a hip hop thing and it was more
like a gimmick. And we was from the South, so
it was like you missed a lot of that. When
you talk about female rappers, Brad is the first female

(45:01):
rapper to ever go platinum, you don't actually hear that
in the female rap story because I think it's because
of the same thing. So I feel like a lot
of these things would be the heighten of it would
be different and my career would be different.

Speaker 4 (45:13):
Wow, that's yeah. And you know what else, in the
midst of all this, managed to keep your hands clean.

Speaker 7 (45:19):
Right, you know, keep your hands cleaning.

Speaker 4 (45:22):
Well, you're not in any mess. Oh yeah, no, I
don't have I don't have no time for all this
this regular man mess. But you know I ain't regular
you have you know you had what his songs written
about your drama? Oh that's not bad life, that's regular man,
that's content content content. But no, honestly, thank you so much.

(45:45):
We really do appreciate you.

Speaker 2 (45:46):
I know you'll be back for Magic City, but Freaknick,
the wildest party never told.

Speaker 4 (45:50):
Congratulations to your contributions.

Speaker 7 (45:53):
Thank you. Shout out the money long number one record
in the country, money girl.

Speaker 2 (45:57):
All right, you could watch the full interview on my
YouTube trying to Way up with you and when we
come back, we have the last word.

let's just five bucks and she'll just sit on it.

Speaker 3 (46:31):
Pause.

Speaker 4 (46:31):
I know what's just happens.

Speaker 5 (46:33):
Don't look at me.

Speaker 12 (46:34):
You want to set it myself. I'm on fire today.

Speaker 4 (46:37):
Ray J said, No, Diddy, I'm on fire today. I
didn't say that it was.

Speaker 1 (46:43):
It was, but no.

Speaker 4 (46:45):
But you know what I'm saying, I'm lit, he said.
You know what I'm saying, I'm lit. He said, But
he's got new music.

Speaker 12 (46:54):
Man, I appreciate you y'all playing my music because I
just be liking it, just doing it for fun.

Speaker 4 (46:58):
Yeah, we got.

Speaker 12 (46:58):
Studio time doing it like we do it, to do
it like we do it.

Speaker 5 (47:01):
Yeah, you don't have a good time when you're gonna
put me angela song right tonight.

Speaker 12 (47:04):
Okay, we're going to write to the studio.

Speaker 5 (47:06):
That's perfect.

Speaker 12 (47:07):

Speaker 2 (47:08):
And I said thank you to Jamay Dupree for joining
us today. You can watch Freak Nick on Hulu right now.
And of course this is y'all shall so you guys
have the last word.

Speaker 9 (47:17):
I have a confession to make without being judged. So recently,
I've engaged in sexual encounter with more than several women,
and I came home with some sort of scuti, a
disease that leads my private part greenish when I use it.
What should I feel?

Speaker 6 (47:34):
My wife?

Speaker 10 (47:34):
Thank you?

Speaker 13 (47:35):
What's up y'all?

Speaker 4 (47:36):
My name Taylor Offer, Savannah Georgia and.

Speaker 13 (47:38):
I'm from the China, like oh my mom or Satitia Brown.
I love her and she's my everything.

Speaker 5 (47:45):
That's what has been my best friend.

Speaker 11 (47:46):
I mean, I could call her and tell her anything
without feeling like if thearius.

Speaker 14 (47:50):
That any type of way.

Speaker 3 (47:52):
She raised five kids.

Speaker 9 (47:53):
You know, we grew up all together in one household,
and I really want.

Speaker 4 (47:56):
To call the time.

Speaker 13 (47:57):
I don't hear that, Mama.

Speaker 3 (47:58):
I love you girl.

Speaker 6 (48:00):
