Speaker 1 (00:03):
What's up?

Speaker 2 (00:03):
Its way up at Angela ye, I'm Angela yee. And
of course my guy Mano is here. You may no,
And we have a really special guest and this is
Chanelle lab what's up?

Speaker 1 (00:13):
Hey?

Speaker 2 (00:14):
And not just anybody. She took time out of her schedule.
You are the CEO, the owner, the founder of Queen
Diva's Body Sculpting. Correct, yes, okay, body sculpting first of all,
we got to get our summer bodies right, definitely. So
let's talk about the services that you offer.

Speaker 3 (00:32):
The service that I have, I do ultrasound cavitation.

Speaker 1 (00:36):
What is cavitation cavitation?

Speaker 3 (00:39):
It's sound waves that breaks down and remove the stubborn
fat and it gets liquified into the lymphatic system and
then you release it either by urine feces or both.

Speaker 2 (00:50):
Okay, but that takes a little while, right like when
you start the process from when it all gets released.

Speaker 3 (00:54):
How does with ultrasound you need anywhere from six to
ten sessions?

Speaker 1 (00:59):
Okay?

Speaker 3 (01:00):
Okay, So each service has a minimum to have you know,
good to great results.

Speaker 1 (01:06):
All right, so keep going. Sorry, I just didn't know
what that was.

Speaker 3 (01:09):
So so M Sculpe lays a light bulb, skin tightening,
the LA vacuum, a lot of stuff.

Speaker 1 (01:18):
Yeah, all right, man, what process were you doing?

Speaker 4 (01:20):
Which, yeah, I need to do a process.

Speaker 1 (01:23):
This helps do m SCUPEH what's m scull.

Speaker 3 (01:27):
So with m SCUPE you get thirty thousand muscle contractions
in thirty minutes.

Speaker 4 (01:33):
How does that? How does that break the fat down?

Speaker 3 (01:36):
So it's gonna reduce the fat and then it's gonna
turn it back into muscle. So is that end up
having like? Right?

Speaker 2 (01:45):
Okay, So that's because I see a lot of people
out because there's so many questions I have so absculpting.
We see a lot of people doing that. So is
that what them scope?

Speaker 4 (01:54):
Yes?

Speaker 1 (01:54):
Okay, yes, because.

Speaker 2 (01:55):
You'll see people and sometimes it's like where did they
all of a sudden it just gets from and I do.

Speaker 4 (02:01):
Want to they got something else?

Speaker 1 (02:02):
Probably, Yeah, that's what we're talking about.

Speaker 3 (02:04):
It it but no, the m scope is I'm telling
you it's the truth.

Speaker 2 (02:10):
So I want to also as we're talking about these
processes preparation to be able to get this done safely
and effectively, because I think I never judge people based
off of the services that they want to have. You know,
if you want to feel positive and there's things about
your body that you want to change, and you can
do it, but I also feel like you need to
make sure that you do it safely, and that you
follow what you need to follow before any procedure, and

(02:32):
that you know you're going to the right place. Now
we had we have you up here because I went
and checked out the reviews. You have a nice solid
four point eight okay, so with you know, I saw
like over seventy reviews. So to me, I always before
I go anywhere, I'm gonna look at the review to review.
Make sure it's not just why I never do though,
Oh I always do you have to?

Speaker 4 (02:51):
Yeah, I must. I got to still get into the
habit of checking out the reviews.

Speaker 2 (02:54):
Yes, all right, So I want to talk about let's
say you were going to do m scope. What do
you need to do to prepare for a procedure like that,
and then how do you keep it up? Because I
always tell people like I see people who get procedures
done but then they don't maintain it.

Speaker 1 (03:08):
So let's discuss what you need to do before that.

Speaker 3 (03:11):
You don't need anything, it's the after. So once the
person does m scope, they need to exercise, drink lots
and lots of water because the water is what's gonna
flush the toxins and the radicals out of the body.
And then a moderate diet so you can't you know,

(03:31):
just eat everyone yeah, fast food.

Speaker 2 (03:34):
And it's not like I got the procedure and I'm
gonna have abs for life.

Speaker 3 (03:38):
Yeah no, no, yes, exactly.

Speaker 2 (03:43):
So it's a nice jump start for you. So this
is a non surgical procedure, right, okay?

Speaker 1 (03:47):
Correct? And then what is so laser lippo? Let's get
into that for a second.

Speaker 2 (03:52):
Is that because liposection to me, I always look at
it as a surgery. Is laser LiPo surgery or is
it non surgical?

Speaker 3 (03:59):
Non?

Speaker 1 (03:59):
Okay? How does that work?

Speaker 3 (04:03):
The laser light bulb, it's low emitted heat. Same thing,
it melts the fat and then same thing, it goes
into the lymphatic system and you're gonna release it by
urine feces or both. So I need that all of
all of these services. It's going to your yeah, either

(04:23):
going to pee a lot or do both.

Speaker 1 (04:26):
Okay, yes, oh wow, laser I'm a fan.

Speaker 4 (04:30):
Of nonsense, Like if you do the laser bols, yes.

Speaker 3 (04:35):
I say, I say it like this, it's permanent depending
upon your lifestyle. So if you're exercising, you know.

Speaker 5 (04:44):
What I'm saying, it's guaranteed that that's gonna happen, that
you're gonna lose weight like you want to, You're.

Speaker 1 (04:48):
Gonna yes, mm hmm okay.

Speaker 2 (04:51):
And I want to discuss as we're talking about all
of these things, who would not be eligible for something
like this, because sometimes people have unrealistic expectations based on
where they are at before.

Speaker 3 (05:04):
Yes, So people who have like pacemakers heart disease us
even with like a high blood pressure with me, I
don't if you take medicine every day, I won't take you, okay,
And that's just me. Of course, people that's pregnant, somebody

(05:27):
that's breastfeeding shouldn't do it like an immune disease system.

Speaker 1 (05:34):
So yes, okay, so everybody's not eligible.

Speaker 2 (05:38):
What if I've heard people say that they've had to
lose weight before getting a procedure done.

Speaker 3 (05:42):
No, it's it's only like if somebody's like, you know,
four hundred pounds, Okay, then of course they would have
to lose some weight.

Speaker 5 (05:52):
But other than that, no, is this a safer alternative
to like straight up light bulb.

Speaker 4 (06:00):
Yes, yes, you still get the same results.

Speaker 3 (06:03):
You still get the same results, just it's gonna take
a little bit longer.

Speaker 4 (06:07):
How long does the body release? How long does it
take to release?

Speaker 5 (06:10):
All?

Speaker 1 (06:10):
You need more sessions to you need more sessions.

Speaker 3 (06:12):
So everything with non invasive is session based. So each service,
each service has a minimum. Okay, So with like laser
light bol you need anywhere from eight to sixteen sessions
for good to great results.

Speaker 2 (06:28):
And as a range of price, like how much with
something like that cost?

Speaker 3 (06:33):
Well, right now, I always have specials, you know, to
make it reasonable for other people. So laser liight bolt,
I have eight sessions right now, eight for eight hundred dollars.

Speaker 2 (06:45):
Oh that's not bad at And where can you get
can you get laser lip of like?

Speaker 1 (06:53):
Okay, double chin area like?

Speaker 4 (06:55):
You can?

Speaker 3 (06:56):
You can your back, your arms, your.

Speaker 2 (06:59):
Legs, Steven backfas Yes. Now do tell us about your
qualifications too, because earlier I stated that people have to
make sure that they're going to people who are qualified,
who are a licensed So what type of qualifications do
you need to have to be able to perform these procedures.

Speaker 3 (07:16):
With body scoping? You have to have an esthetics license,
cosmatology license, or a massage therapist license.

Speaker 1 (07:25):
Okay.

Speaker 3 (07:25):
People call me all the time for training and I'm like,
do you have a scope license? They're like, oh, what
does that mean? I said, you need a license to
touch someone, you have to have a license. So it
has to be aesthetics, cosmetology or massage therapist license. And
a lot of people don't want to They don't want
to do the work. You can't just they just want

(07:48):
to have a body scoping business without having to go
to school.

Speaker 5 (07:53):
Speaking of school, you have the only black woman owned
thee Tis school in the state, right.

Speaker 1 (08:01):
Yes, Oh, well give it because I know yes.

Speaker 2 (08:08):
Now, what did you need to be able to start
your own school and what made you decide to do that.

Speaker 3 (08:13):
Well, when I was in school for esthetics, I really
didn't like certain things in school, and I always said
that's one of my future goals was to have a school.
So after a while I was like, when am I

(08:34):
going to do it? Because you know you sometimes you'd
be like, okay, next year, put it next year, and
then twenty twenty one.

Speaker 1 (08:43):
I just was like, forget it.

Speaker 3 (08:44):
Let me just do it. And the process is it's
a lot Okay, yeah, it's it's a lot that you
have to go through with the New York State to
get the license, but I did it.

Speaker 1 (08:58):
And yes, okay, all right, we love that for you
clapping up.

Speaker 2 (09:04):
Just to be able to provide this services for other
people because it's not just also body sculpting that you do,
but there's a lot of things you do, like let's
see microdermi brasion, which I love, taking care of your
skin like women, right, No want to say, Michael demer
bration is like getting a nice facial, but it's going
to get rid of that top layer of dead skin.

Speaker 3 (09:25):
Definitely. It resurfaces the skin.

Speaker 4 (09:28):
Yeah, have you ever done that facials? Yeah, of course, have.

Speaker 2 (09:31):
You done micro deermi brasion? Okay, you're right, you're right,
you glowing? But other things too, And I want to
make sure we stress these things because even lash extensions,
you can't just go anywhere to get lash extensions. I
know people will see like deals all the time. They'll
go to like the nail salon and they also do
lash extensions.

Speaker 4 (09:50):
You got to you gotta be capful with that. You
can get herpies around.

Speaker 1 (09:52):
Your eye, what what flashes?

Speaker 4 (09:55):
Lashes? You don't know you don't never go to the
wrong place.

Speaker 1 (09:58):
But I just met.

Speaker 4 (10:00):
It depends on yes, you never know, you got you gotta.

Speaker 1 (10:05):
Gosh, you don't know.

Speaker 4 (10:09):
For the wrong place, you.

Speaker 1 (10:11):
Can end up losing your lashes.

Speaker 2 (10:13):
You know, the person doesn't use the proper glue, or
it's not done right, or you look crazy. Because you
also do permanent makeup. That's a big deal too, right,
because if you want to get your brows done, yes,
and your brows look crazy after it, I don't know
how you fix that.

Speaker 4 (10:27):
What about lip injections?

Speaker 3 (10:28):
No, no, No, that that's for like medical.

Speaker 4 (10:33):
M that's medical.

Speaker 3 (10:35):
Yes.

Speaker 4 (10:36):
So all these girls running around doing lip injections, then well.

Speaker 3 (10:41):
Let me just say they're supposed to go to a
medical doctor.

Speaker 1 (10:47):
Okay, got it that people, it's not to be falling off.
He love a woman with big No.

Speaker 5 (10:52):
I was saying that because I remember I was going
to get you hooked up, because I know you were
saying you was gonna get your lips done.

Speaker 4 (10:57):
I was going to help you out.

Speaker 2 (10:59):
Actually, our Jasmin who's always up here, she's had lip fillings.
She's open about it, she's posted the whole process and
doing it. I have to tell I'd be like, all right, Jazmin,
it's enough. It looks natural, because I do like a
natural lug. But I haven't done anything yet. But you know,
I'm a little I just listen. But anything that is
non invasive sounds appealing to me. Yes, can we get
us right without doing anything? Yeah, because that's scary to me.

Speaker 1 (11:23):
I'm sorry.

Speaker 2 (11:23):
Not like, more power to everybody who wants to do that,
but I am not the type of person that wants
to go under for no reason.

Speaker 1 (11:29):
If I don't need to.

Speaker 4 (11:30):
You don't got to get put the sleep, none of that, right.

Speaker 1 (11:32):
Does it hurt? You feel it?

Speaker 3 (11:33):
Like? So the only thing I would say is a
little awkward is doing the the wood, doing the wood therapy.
That's that's about it. Yeah, it's not supposed to. But
see it's not supposed to hurt. And that's the problem.
Like people come to me and feel like I went
somewhere and they messed my mess me up.

Speaker 1 (11:55):
I'm scared about that too.

Speaker 3 (11:57):
No, it's it's it's supposed to. You're supposed to people
roll it like like they trying to do break. Yeah, no,
it doesn't work like that. You're supposed to flick.

Speaker 2 (12:11):
With the tool man got excited, I said, pizza.

Speaker 5 (12:18):
So this is post op stuff, or just because I
see a lot of post op places, like people that
go get surgery.

Speaker 4 (12:25):
And they go do the wood.

Speaker 5 (12:27):
Treatment, they do some of the same things. Yes, So
do you consider your place post op.

Speaker 3 (12:33):
Or I do that too, do a little bit of everything? Yes, yes,
I do that too.

Speaker 2 (12:39):
And so let's say you do, because there always going
to be times that people don't like something that after
it's done right, that does happen. Are any of these
things reversible or that's just it once you get it done.

Speaker 3 (12:50):
Well, it's not something It's not like you go to
surgery and they mess up something right, you know, you.

Speaker 1 (12:57):
Want to get your lip fill is dissolved or anything like.

Speaker 3 (13:01):
It's nothing that's going to hurt anybody.

Speaker 1 (13:04):
Okay, yeah, so what got you even into this? Like
what made you say? This is my passion?

Speaker 3 (13:10):
So I was watching somebody back in two thousand and
nine doing the butt enhancement okay, and I saw it
and I'm like, wow, you can do this without surgery.
So I just started watching that person and then she
started doing breast enhancement. So I was like, no, breast enhancement,

(13:31):
it's not invasive it's just machines. So I was like,
this is what I want to do, right.

Speaker 2 (13:38):
I didn't know you could get your button breast done
with no surgery.

Speaker 3 (13:42):
Yeah, what is that preces It's a machine that you
can either lift it or enhance it.

Speaker 1 (13:50):
Okay.

Speaker 3 (13:50):
So usually when you lift, it's like electrical muscle stimulation.
That's the machine. They call it like shockwave therapy okay.
And with the enhancement, it's like little tools that you
put on the breasts and it just.

Speaker 1 (14:12):
Like it's like that vibration And how long does that last?

Speaker 2 (14:16):
Is that something that you have to keep on, like
say every year coming back to get it done or
how does that work year?

Speaker 3 (14:21):
And no, if you're like if you lose weight, okay,
something like that, then of course you would have to
come back. But I always tell people, always have maintenance,
no matter if it's ultrasound cavitation, lay's a light bulb,
Always have cavitation. Same thing if you go to surgery,
you're supposed to maintain it, right right.

Speaker 2 (14:43):
So yes, now as we're talking about all of these procedures,
a person can get what are some of the risks
that are involved? Because that is something that people also
need to take into consideration.

Speaker 1 (14:51):
There are no risks none.

Speaker 3 (14:53):
No zoo because no, because all of the machines are
FDA approved machines. So it's not it's it's non evasive.
So you're not poking, you're not doing anything like that.

Speaker 4 (15:06):
What if the fact goes into the wrong place, it's.

Speaker 3 (15:09):
Not supposed to.

Speaker 2 (15:10):
But if you're a toute higher, if your fat goes
into your liver, like it's no.

Speaker 3 (15:19):
Those machines are made just to get rid of the
fat cells. That's it.

Speaker 2 (15:25):
Is there a chance that perhaps you can get this
and maybe it doesn't even create a change that you
because that's that's I would say, maybe that's a risk
that it just doesn't work.

Speaker 3 (15:34):
Yes, it can. There are like one percent of people
that that happens.

Speaker 4 (15:40):
Nothing happens.

Speaker 1 (15:41):
He be so disappointed, you know, I did just say every.

Speaker 4 (15:43):
Time, like, yoh man, I'm peeing, but I don't see
nothing coming out. I don't see no, I don't see
no fat in the toilet.

Speaker 1 (15:50):
Yeah, what is it?

Speaker 2 (15:51):
What is a s what's the most popular procedure that
you do? Everyone's asking all the girls are asking.

Speaker 3 (15:57):
For a las are light bulb? Okay, laser light bulb?
The m sculpe uh ultr sound capitation, but with cavitation.
I tell people, if you have loose skin, don't do cavitation, okay,
because the way that cavitation breaks you down really fast, you'll.

Speaker 2 (16:18):
Have looser Okay, yes, and nobody that. Yes, what about
what are the guys coming in for the.

Speaker 3 (16:26):
Most of the No, most of the guys either do
m sculped, laser, light bulb or cavitation.

Speaker 2 (16:33):
Do you see a lot more men coming in for
services now now?

Speaker 1 (16:37):
Yes? Okay, yeah, and it's confidential, right may.

Speaker 3 (16:40):
No, it is.

Speaker 5 (16:44):
I this always know he was there, different, I wasn't there.
I never came for a procedure.

Speaker 3 (16:57):
No, no, no, no he didn't.

Speaker 4 (17:00):
Not to say that we might not sign up later.
But I'm just saying like it didn't happen, though.

Speaker 3 (17:08):
Not yet, not yet.

Speaker 2 (17:11):
But listen, I think it's great that people have these
options available because it used to be like this is
just what it is. And sometimes the confidence that can
come with you with people doing a little touch up
on themselves, there's nothing wrong with that.

Speaker 3 (17:23):
It's true. You know, I tell people exhaust all your
options before surgery.

Speaker 1 (17:29):
Okay, you know so.

Speaker 3 (17:32):
But the thing is that with women they want easy gratification.

Speaker 1 (17:35):
They want it now right right.

Speaker 3 (17:37):
But even still you have surgery, you still need post on,
so it's not.

Speaker 2 (17:43):
Yeah, it's not Some people like that surgery. It looked awful,
band aids and everywhere. Yeah, and it is dangerous. Surgery
is always a risk. That a lot more of a
risk that's involved with that.

Speaker 1 (17:54):
And the pain. Somebody told me she.

Speaker 2 (17:56):
Had gotten a BBL and she was like, it is
the worst pain she's ever had in her life.

Speaker 1 (18:02):
She was like, yeah, she said it was really bad.

Speaker 4 (18:05):
To stick to the skin and it starts to stink.
Oh my god.

Speaker 1 (18:08):
You know he knows around that.

Speaker 2 (18:11):
It's theirs and infections that can occur after Yes, you know,
I had somebody who told me that they had gotten
an infection afterward literally was in the hospital for like
almost two months.

Speaker 1 (18:25):
But to the infections, where where did they go?

Speaker 2 (18:27):
The problem was that she left and went to another
country and got it done. And they'll do a lot
more that they won't do here. So when you go,
why people Yeah, that's why they go because here somebody
might tell you no. But then you get on a
flight and you go to Columbia.

Speaker 5 (18:40):
They're supposed to take out a certain amount of fact
right by law in the States. But you go to
another country and they could take out more fat.

Speaker 1 (18:48):
Tell you smart documento the airport.

Speaker 2 (18:55):
Let's just that I know my way around a faja
and I just remember being on a flight and a
girl was like on the floor. She had her head
in the seat because she couldn't sit because after that,
you can't sit.

Speaker 3 (19:06):
No you're not.

Speaker 1 (19:07):
You know, that's not an easy thing because think about
how to give them.

Speaker 4 (19:09):
The little seat questions, little to sit on. Yeah, that's
what they give them.

Speaker 1 (19:14):
How many of those you haven't home?

Speaker 4 (19:17):
I got the pull up, I got you post stop.

Speaker 1 (19:22):
Yeah, you got a postop service?

Speaker 4 (19:24):
Yeah? Yeah you can for real? What I'm I thinking
over there? Run it right now?

Speaker 2 (19:31):
Goodness?

Speaker 1 (19:32):
Well, listen, how can people find you?

Speaker 2 (19:33):
If they want to see the list of procedures that
you have that are available, they want to come. Maybe
they want to sign up for the school so that
they can be licensed as well, because I know you're
helping other women also get their licenses.

Speaker 3 (19:44):
Yes, so they can go on Instagram to Queen Diva's
body scoping h My website is www dot Queen divasbodyscoping
dot com and for the school. The school they have,
they have to do certain things to like prerequisits to

(20:04):
come to the to come to the school, so they
would either call or email. But the school is www
dot q d b S Aesthetics Academy dot com. Okay,
and I have the instagram for that same thing qdbs

(20:27):
Esthetics Academy.

Speaker 1 (20:29):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (20:30):
So it's not too late, ladies and men, gentlemen, it's
not too late for you to go and start getting.

Speaker 1 (20:35):
Your procedures done.

Speaker 3 (20:36):
You know.

Speaker 1 (20:37):
I know it's it's.

Speaker 2 (20:39):
Ready seven time, but you could still be getting it together,
so by September.

Speaker 1 (20:42):
You'd be tight.

Speaker 3 (20:43):
Definitely.

Speaker 2 (20:44):
Yes, all right, Well, thank you so much, Seawne. We
appreciate you for coming through and the work that you've
been doing.

Speaker 3 (20:50):
I love the invitation. I love it. Thank you.

Speaker 1 (20:54):
Well, we'll be following up, man, and I might come through.

Speaker 5 (20:57):
Definitely, come and go to work.

Speaker 4 (21:00):
Yeah, I'm coming like okay on me, like you.

Speaker 2 (21:04):
Know, I'm ready, arms up, just like that gets it
before and after this day with them.

Speaker 3 (21:16):
Yeah, he needs to do them skulp.

Speaker 4 (21:18):
Needed because I'm fighting obasity right now.

Speaker 1 (21:20):
Oh my god, stop this. I want to die, all right.

Speaker 3 (21:25):
They want to diet.

Speaker 4 (21:26):
I'm trying to be but coming up here is really
really don't do that. It's really bad. The pressure up
here is horrible.

Speaker 3 (21:32):
No, but you you can't. You can't follow that.

Speaker 4 (21:35):
I'm trying.

Speaker 3 (21:37):
Hang't do that.

Speaker 4 (21:40):
It's crazy.
