I've started my career for as out of my career
in radio, I've known her from when I used to
work for eminem. Her name is Sharon, and she actually
was working on a different station, but now she's back
working at JLB and Detroit. She was the program director
when I first was doing a breakfast club, and then

(02:15):
she left and then she came back, so we're excited
to have her there. But she's also a breast cancer
survivor shout out to Sharon, and a mother of.

Speaker 3 (02:22):
Two, and she does it all. She has her own foundation.

Speaker 2 (02:25):
But what was interesting is that we sat down and
had a meeting at this amazing restaurant. It's Mediterraneans called
Cibo is me her and Chris Carson, and we were
having a conversation about how she wants to move the
station forward and things that she wants to do. And
I like when people take accountability, like she'd be like, look,
we need to be doing this, We need to be
doing more of that. We need to do this. Is
no blaming anybody for anything. It's more like, let's find

(02:46):
a solution to move forward.

Speaker 3 (02:49):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (02:50):
Probably, She's been doing radio for yeah, for a long time,
over twenty years. By the way, she's a personality too,
So shout out to you, sharanaw Who do you want
to shine a light on? Eight hundred nine fifty one
fifty Lorenzo, who do you want to shine a light on?

Speaker 6 (03:04):
I want to shine the light on you. You've been
doing your thing, you know, from stepping away from the
from the breakfast club and still managing you know what
I mean, hold it down. And I'm saying I'm.

Speaker 4 (03:13):
An uber driver in New York City.

Speaker 3 (03:15):
I just listen to you every game, every day, I mean,
I'm just crouding. Thank you, Lorenzo. We love our Uber
drivers too.

Speaker 4 (03:23):

going certain places? When y'all wait till y'all pull up
and then y'all canceled, Like, why y'all don't.

Speaker 3 (03:29):
He's a real question.

Speaker 4 (03:30):
I don't I need to understand why y'all just.

Speaker 6 (03:33):
I keep it a buck with you, man, because I
don't do that.

Speaker 4 (03:36):
I don't do that.

Speaker 6 (03:37):
I'm just I'm not here to make money, man.

Speaker 7 (03:38):
So if you want to take me to if you
want to take an.

Speaker 4 (03:41):
Uber to Connecticut, I'm.

Speaker 3 (03:43):
All for it.

Speaker 6 (03:44):
But I'm not here to make money.

Speaker 4 (03:45):
Yeah, trying to understand why they wait till they cook
up to cancel, like when they could have canceled.

Speaker 3 (03:51):
Maybe they see where you're going and they don't.

Speaker 4 (03:52):
Want to go there, So why they don't cancel from
the door.

Speaker 3 (03:55):
They don't know until they come to pick you up.

Speaker 4 (03:57):
That's crazy where you're going. They need to fix that
back be it, man.

Speaker 1 (04:00):
But like I said, I can't speak for.

Speaker 7 (04:01):
The rest of them characters.

Speaker 8 (04:02):
Man.

Speaker 6 (04:02):
I just do what I do, man, and I'm out
here to make money. So wherever y'all going is where
I'm going.

Speaker 9 (04:07):
I like that.

Speaker 4 (04:08):
I like your energy. Alright, send me a DM bro.
We're gonna talk about it, mag I'm gonna do that.
I'm good at right now.

Speaker 3 (04:12):
Okay, all right, thank you, Lorenzo, God bless you.

Speaker 6 (04:15):
Thank you very much.

Speaker 2 (04:16):
Well that was shining like eight hundred two nine two
fifty one fifty just in case you couldn't get through.
And when we come back, the bodyguards are talking or
should I say the X bodyguards. I'm gonna tell you
a story about somebody who is a superstar but also a.

Speaker 3 (04:29):
Quote unquote womanizer. Who could it be?

Speaker 2 (04:32):
It's way up, they say proof in the rooms.

Speaker 5 (04:35):
From industry shade to all of gosp out sending angelus
feeling that eat.

Speaker 3 (04:41):
All right this way up, I'm Angela Yeme. I got
menos here. Man. Things are looking a little bit crazy
out here.

Speaker 2 (04:48):
I told y'all a lot of these X security are
speaking and they do know all the secrets. Let's be clear,
like when you have security around with you twenty four seven.

Speaker 4 (04:58):
Yeah, that's but I don't like what's happening now. It
was just like this so error where everybody's exposing so
called secrets.

Speaker 3 (05:06):
All right.

Speaker 2 (05:06):
Well, Matt Fittis used to be Michael Jackson's security and
he said that Michael Jackson was a womanizer behind the scenes.

Speaker 3 (05:15):
Here's what he had to say about that.

Speaker 10 (05:17):
We went to Great Lunch to hide his girlfriends, his
wife's away from the public. Towards the end of his life,
he started to get more open to the situation where
we made the fatal decision to where Martin basher. They
hoped that was going to help him, but no, he
had a problem with flipp with women. Is womanizer?

Speaker 3 (05:34):
All right?

Speaker 2 (05:34):
Now, This was on the Stripping Off with Matt Haycock's podcast.
He also previously had said, by the way, that he's
the biological father of Blanket, Michael Jackson's son Cap.

Speaker 4 (05:46):
Don't believe it?

Speaker 3 (05:47):
No, Yeah, why is he doing all of this?

Speaker 2 (05:49):
I also feel like, don't security, Like don't they sign
in NBA? The drivers and the security and the assistant
they know everything all right. Now, Snoop Dogg has made
history with this Arizona Bowl sponsorship that he has happening.
This boll Evant is now going to be known as
the Snoop Dogg Arizona Bowl. It's the first to provide
nil deals to every player. Here's what he said.

Speaker 4 (06:11):
I'm happy to announce that the Snoop dogg a Z
Bowl is partnering with brands that will help us be
the first ball to offer nil money to student athletes.

Speaker 1 (06:20):
Let's go a Z.

Speaker 2 (06:22):
That's the first time that's happening. So they're giving these
nil deals to every player on the competing teams. That's huge.
I love that these kids are able to make money. Now,
you know, the schools were making money. Now they get
to monetize off their own likeness. Why shouldn't they, all right,
A Snoop Dog's wife is opening up a strip club
and that's the Club High named after the Movie Players Club.

(06:48):
So she's doing this through her company, Boss Lady Entertainment.
That was not on my Bengo card to know that
Chante is going to be doing that. So you know,
come to the lift Service. We can you know, do
a little, and.

Speaker 3 (07:01):
We know you will.

Speaker 2 (07:02):
I want to go support all right, And the BT
Awards Usher is going to be honored with the Lifetime
Achievement Award. That's gonna air live Sunday, June thirtieth, By
the way, well deserved. I can't believe he doesn't have
it already. He's still and he still has a lot
of life to live and a lot going on, so
it's crazy to get this. He's still so young to

(07:23):
be getting this Lifetime Achievement award, but shout out to him.
Other recipients have been Whitney Houston, Prince Queen Latifa, Anita Baker,
Mary J. Blige, Samuel Jackson, line On Richie New Edition,
Bust the Rhymes, and things like that. All right, well
that is your Yet when we come back, we have
about last night. That's where we discussed what we did
last night. Let me go look at your Instagram so
I can get a better idea of what was happening.

(07:45):
But we'll talk about it. Y'all know, I was out
in Detroit. We got a lot of business things done.
I'm excited about that. But in the meantime, speaking of
last night, let's talk about what Mana was doing with
J cole Wed Dreams his way Up.

Speaker 5 (07:58):
So about last night, I went down.

Speaker 3 (08:05):
All right, yeah, last night, it's way up. It's another day.
But I was in Detroit yesterday. What'd you do yesterday?

Speaker 4 (08:11):
I was working on getting my felonies exponged off my.

Speaker 3 (08:14):
Record, the clean slate initial So I had.

Speaker 4 (08:18):
To go to this office, get fingerprinted and fill out
this paperwork, send it out, get my uh my rap
sheet first and foremost.

Speaker 3 (08:27):
Oh that's good.

Speaker 2 (08:28):
I'm glad you're getting that done. So what is that
going to allow you to have access to just.

Speaker 4 (08:33):
It's not it's I'm cool. I pretty much can have
access to anything.

Speaker 3 (08:37):
Can you get pre check and global entry?

Speaker 1 (08:41):
You know what?

Speaker 4 (08:42):
I think I can because they got a thing against felonies.

Speaker 3 (08:45):
Right yeah, I think they if there's anything that.

Speaker 4 (08:47):
You've ever been, I got clear, but I don't have
they give anybody clear. You clear? You can be on
the run right now, get clear?

Speaker 3 (08:58):
Listen, clear is nothing nothing.

Speaker 4 (09:02):
Yeah, I'm running for some felonies. Now back support you're
still Yeah, this is the felon is it's the Fellas organization.

Speaker 3 (09:13):
It's different. I think it's like a certain amount of time.

Speaker 2 (09:15):
I'm not sure, but like a certain amount of time
before you can get it.

Speaker 4 (09:18):
Yeah, but I'm working on that though. I want I
just and not not only for nothing. I want to
do it for myself. Okay, you know that's nice.

Speaker 3 (09:25):
I'm glad.

Speaker 2 (09:25):
So now when they ask you, do you have any felonies.
You can say, no.

Speaker 4 (09:29):
What is that? Is that a new car?

Speaker 6 (09:32):
You know what?

Speaker 2 (09:32):
And since you said that, like, because when I was
doing this building in Detroit applying for the loan, we
actually my friend Topeka, who's uh, you know what do
we call it what? She's formally incarcerated, but anyway, she
we had to take her off the.

Speaker 3 (09:48):
Loan because of her.

Speaker 2 (09:49):
Right, Yeah, because it actually will prevent you from certain
things like and I don't think that that's legal. I
feel like you should still be able to get a
bank loan, but I'm not sure how it works.

Speaker 4 (09:59):
Yeah, but some just have this kind of stipulation you
still can get it though.

Speaker 2 (10:05):
Well they were like no, yeah, and so we have
to work things out a different way. But you know,
that does definitely impact people in different ways. If you
want to get your real estate license, right okay, shout
out to Meek's getting his real estate license. You can
get take the test and get your license and all
of that, but then you have to also in order
to really get when you have your license, you have

(10:25):
to have a brokerage approve it. You have to get somebody,
you have to go and like go through this whole
process of being able to actually work at a brokerage
once you get the license and pass the test.

Speaker 4 (10:36):
So if you have felonies, it's a brokerage going to
hire you.

Speaker 2 (10:40):
I mean, it's a process, like I think you have
to go and get a letter and get it, you
know whatever.

Speaker 3 (10:46):
So it just makes things more difficult.

Speaker 2 (10:47):
But in Detroit, the Grand Prix is going to be
happening this weekend, by the way, so I know there's
a lot of road closures out there that have started
already in downtown Detroit.

Speaker 4 (10:56):
I want to see one of those.

Speaker 2 (10:57):
Well this weekend, you can go to Detroit and start.
It starts on tomorrow and it ends on Sunday, June second,
So that'll be a big deal for the city. So
a lot of things happening. The night that I got there,
twenty one Savage had a show. He had a concert
that night too, So everybody's in the d right now.
All right, Well, when we come back, I want to
talk about something because this is a stressful time for me.

(11:21):
And I may not say it all the time, but
I've been all over the place doing different things. This building,
I've been doing this gut renovation in my house. I
have the Airbnb Upstate New York. Right now, I have
the Juice Bar, the nourish spot BK that just reopened,
I have my coffee shop. Everything costs money right now,
right right, nothing is making me any money, and I

(11:42):
owe a lot.

Speaker 4 (11:42):
Of people money and its investment though, yeah.

Speaker 2 (11:44):
It's an investment, but I also have other things I
have to keep up. And it's very stressful to owe
people money, and so I just want to know how
do you handle that?

Speaker 3 (11:52):
When you owe people money? How do you prioritize?

Speaker 2 (11:55):
And do you like hit them up and be like,
I got you, it's coming, I'm getting paid this day.

Speaker 3 (11:59):
I'm gonna give you some then on it.

Speaker 2 (12:00):
Or do you wait till you have the whole thing
and then just get in the money and don't say anything,
or do you just avoid everybody and hope they don't ask?

Speaker 3 (12:07):
What is your solution when you owe people money? All right?

Speaker 2 (12:10):
Eight hundred two ninety two fifty one fifty is a number.
Call us up and let us know. Do you owe
somebody money right now? And how are you handling it?
Eight hundred two ninety two fifty one fifty school.

Speaker 4 (12:20):
You are a media maven, right, you never know what
AND's gonna say say.

Speaker 2 (12:26):
All right, it's way up. I'm angela yee. You never
know what I'm gonna say. Mainos here, no man. And
we are talking about owing people money. So I actually
bought this conversation up and I produce it.

Speaker 3 (12:36):
Dan was like, you.

Speaker 4 (12:37):
Actually owe me you owe me money? Yes?

Speaker 9 (12:39):
You do?

Speaker 3 (12:40):
Yeah? So yes, nobody here owe me no money.

Speaker 4 (12:44):
Do I owe you money?

Speaker 8 (12:45):
No?

Speaker 3 (12:46):
I don't think so. I feel like you.

Speaker 2 (12:47):
But I do feel like it's so stressful to me
to owe people money, Like I think about it all
the time. I'm not gonna lie even when it comes
to like my mortgage payments, credit cards.

Speaker 3 (12:57):
I hate seeing big balances like that.

Speaker 2 (13:00):
And I know they always tell you there's such a
thing as good debt, right, which is like a mortgage
for an asset, something that's appreciating in value. But it's
still so hard to see that you owe all this money.

Speaker 4 (13:09):
What Debt is a part of life though it's a
part of business. It's a part of motion. When you've
got motion, when you've got things going on, you're going
to owe bottom line.

Speaker 3 (13:17):
And it's also hard when you owe money and you
ain't got it.

Speaker 4 (13:19):
That's different. That's a different story.

Speaker 2 (13:22):
All right, Well, we definitely want to see what you
guys have to say about it, because right now I'm
in a position where I have so many different things
that have collided and won so much money that I
owe in different places, and I'm stressed out. I'm not
gonna lie eight hundred two ninety two fifty one fifty.
How do you handle it when you owe somebody money?
Do you bring it up to them? Do you make
payments on it? Or do you just avoid it?

Speaker 3 (13:41):
Period? Eight hundred two ninety two fifty one fifty Shala,
what's up? How you doing good? Who you owe money to?
Right now?

Speaker 6 (13:50):
You know what, I actually don't owe anybody any money
right now, and.

Speaker 7 (13:55):
I'm feeling good about that. I was just calling the
way in because I'm a firm believer than when you
owe somebody, you need.

Speaker 3 (14:03):
To go here heym coding up the cash.

Speaker 6 (14:06):
Because your word supposed to be.

Speaker 2 (14:07):
Bond life does happen. Let's just say you don't have
it when you're supposed to. How do you handle that?

Speaker 6 (14:13):
Okay?

Speaker 3 (14:13):
So we now I gotta rob Peter to pay Paul.

Speaker 4 (14:16):
That's right, I'm sending my word needs something to me.

Speaker 6 (14:21):
So if I gotta say, hey, says, let me get
a couple of dollars.

Speaker 4 (14:25):
So I can pay bro back.

Speaker 3 (14:26):
And now I own this.

Speaker 6 (14:28):
Told have broke, but he got paid on time.

Speaker 4 (14:30):
That's what I'm doing.

Speaker 3 (14:31):
That sounds like a scheme.

Speaker 2 (14:33):
That sounds like a Ponzi scheme. Thank you for sharing
with us. I'm glad you don't owe nobody no money
right now.

Speaker 7 (14:40):
And look me too, because I ain't got none.

Speaker 6 (14:43):
I listen to y'all every day.

Speaker 3 (14:45):
Y'all be blessed, A thank you, you too? Whatever?

Speaker 6 (14:49):
De what's good, sir?

Speaker 3 (14:52):
I'm good. How about you? Do you owe somebody money?

Speaker 1 (14:54):
Not right now, but you know I haven't.

Speaker 4 (14:57):
In the past.

Speaker 3 (14:57):
But what do you do when you do owe somebody money?

Speaker 2 (14:59):
Like, let's you say you got to pay them for
their services, but you don't have it right now?

Speaker 3 (15:03):
How do you handle that?

Speaker 9 (15:04):
So the way I do it is if I if
I'm borrowing money from you already, I'm gonna put more
on it.

Speaker 11 (15:09):
I'm gonna put.

Speaker 5 (15:09):
Interest on it.

Speaker 9 (15:10):
So I'll say, if I need to borrow a hundred,
I'm gonna hit you back with one twenty five.

Speaker 4 (15:14):
That's good now, I don't get too egregious.

Speaker 1 (15:17):
I don't get too crazy interest.

Speaker 3 (15:20):
That's a lot.

Speaker 4 (15:21):
But he keeps his credit good though, in case he needed.

Speaker 2 (15:24):
Again, I'm sorry if I ain't got one hundred, I
ain't got one twenty five either.

Speaker 3 (15:28):
Okay, well, I love it. At least you be trying.
Thank you. That's a good solution. I'm gonna give you
some extra thank you.

Speaker 1 (15:37):
All right?

Speaker 3 (15:38):
Hey, Courlan, what's up?

Speaker 4 (15:39):
Hey? How you doing, Julie?

Speaker 2 (15:41):
Yes, sir, we're talking about owing people money. Do you
owe somebody money?

Speaker 6 (15:44):
Well, the only people that owe money is to thank
but somebody owes me some money.

Speaker 4 (15:47):
Somebody owe you money?

Speaker 1 (15:49):
Right now?

Speaker 3 (15:49):
How much?

Speaker 6 (15:50):
Manly?

Speaker 4 (15:52):
Oh? Man? What's going with it?

Speaker 6 (15:55):
Whatever?

Speaker 4 (15:55):
Was?

Speaker 6 (15:55):
The business partner kind of fell fell upon hard times.
I helpful the pass and stuff, so it was one
of implight the bill. Why I help him finish? So,
uh that's just.

Speaker 4 (16:05):
What we Yet you're still in contact with him, yeah, yeah,
you know it get funny when he can't find okay, yeah, yeah, yeah.
I don't have a prole on me as long as
I can reach him, right and they duck and like.

Speaker 6 (16:18):
I said, every now and then, just touch faces with
that person.

Speaker 3 (16:21):
And if you could pay something on it, pay something Yeah, it.

Speaker 6 (16:24):
Ain't no different if you owe money on a credit card.

Speaker 4 (16:27):
No, it's different though because I'm It's different because I'm
gonna be about something else if I can't reach you.

Speaker 6 (16:33):
Yeah, all right, thank you, appreciate y'all.

Speaker 2 (16:36):
All right, well, thank you'all for calling in about that.
I definitely owe some money. I gotta make some payments
and your old money.

Speaker 4 (16:42):
We're gonna old money for the rest of our lives.
As long as we getting.

Speaker 2 (16:45):
Money, that's all right, right, But when we come back,
we have your yet, and let's talk about some didty
updates and what's going on with him. Federal grand Jerry
may soon here from some of these accusers of Diddy,
and things are not looking good for him.

Speaker 3 (16:58):
We'll discuss it. Its way out show.

Speaker 5 (17:00):
She's about to blow the lead ab off this, but
let's get it. Oh yeah, angelus feeling that yeete, come
and get the tea.

Speaker 3 (17:06):
All right, it's way up on Mandela, yee.

Speaker 2 (17:08):
My guy Mano is here, No man, no who, And
things are looking like it's not gonna be good for
Diddy at all. An indige shape or form. A federal
grand jury may soon hear from his accusers. They're preparing
to bring them before the grand jury. Two sources familiar
with the probe are telling CNN so they might potentially
be seeking an indictment of Ditty. Possible witnesses have been

(17:31):
notified by investigators that they could be brought in to testify.
He's been named in eight civil lawsuits since November, seven
of those directly accusing him of sexual assault. Out of
the eight lawsuits, one of them that was filed by
Cassie has been settled, and then there's also another lawsuit
accusing his son, Christian Combs, of sexual assault. So they
have interviewed multiple accusers and Rolling Stone actually did a

(17:54):
huge expose on this. They said they interviewed three hundred
people and fifty people did agree to speak, and then
others did agree to speak on the condition of remaining anonymous,
and so.

Speaker 4 (18:07):
In the magazine.

Speaker 2 (18:08):
Yeah, you can read a lot of these stories in
the Rolling Stone. It's a long article, but you know,
I read it. So there's a lot of yes, you know,
I read the whole article because how could I not.
I want to see what everybody's talking about. But more
than fifty were willing to speak about their experiences, and
several people would only do so off the record. People
are still scared that something could potentially happen to them,

(18:29):
you know, because in this article they talk about him
beating up Cassie when she tried to move on and
start dating k Cutty, and then his car getting blown up.
He said he was going to blow his car up.
So there are other women who have spoken out about him,
and former employees, former acquaintances. They said he was a
complicated man with opposing personal as. They even spoke to
people that went to Howard who said that they witnessed him, yes,

(18:53):
beating his ex girlfriend at the time. She didn't speak,
but a lot of people that were witnesses there did
talk about how he did seem dangerous and he was
screaming for her and then beating her with a belt
and they were yelling for him to get off of her.

Speaker 3 (19:05):
So this dates back to then.

Speaker 2 (19:07):
And you know, his name is Puff because his mom
said when he wouldn't get his own way when he
was young, he would huff and puff, and that's.

Speaker 3 (19:13):
How they said, are calling him puff.

Speaker 4 (19:15):
I never knew that.

Speaker 2 (19:16):
Yeah, I didn't know that either until I read this article.
Now they're also talking about, you know, how the playbook
for the Epstein indictments are gonna and R Kelly how
this is kind of following that same pa.

Speaker 3 (19:29):
Yeah as well.

Speaker 2 (19:30):
So they're saying after his homes were raided, and you know,
he has a lot of stuff on film because he
was constantly having people film things. He had people all
the time. So when they went and rated those homes,
I know that there's a lot of footage that they
have of things that went down. They even had somebody
who they said was a male sex worker right.

Speaker 4 (19:49):
Yesterday.

Speaker 3 (19:51):
Yeah, so you know, just a lot of things going on.

Speaker 2 (19:53):
We're trying to make sure that we keep you guys
updated on all the information. But they are saying, according
to this surveillance footage that Fed's have, that he allegedly
victimized a male sex worker, and you know they have
the footage from that. There's also an X makeup artist
who says that she was next door when did he
was abusing Cassie back in a twenty ten attack, And

(20:13):
this is Mala Morales talking about what she says that
she witnessed.

Speaker 8 (20:20):
I have kept this secret for like fourteen years. I
mean the first time I experienced it was twenty ten.
They went into the bedroom and shut the door, and
all I could hear is screaming and whatever was going
on in there, I don't know, but all I could
think of was grab Cassie's things and just getting her
out to safety.

Speaker 3 (20:40):
All right.

Speaker 2 (20:41):
In addition to that, she talked about Cassie having knots
on her head.

Speaker 3 (20:45):
Wow, what did her physical appearance look like?

Speaker 8 (20:48):
Knots on her head, black eye, busted lip?

Speaker 3 (20:51):
Did she go to the police at that point or anything.

Speaker 8 (20:54):
No, we didn't know what to do at that point,
because you know, Puffy is a very powerful.

Speaker 3 (20:58):
Person, you know. Kirk Burrows also spoke out.

Speaker 2 (21:01):
He's a former Bad Boy partner and president, and he
had a lot of things to say about Diddy being
jealous of Biggie's relationship friendship with with Tupac Shakor who
Tupac did not have respect for Ditty, so he had
issues with that. And then also Rolling Stone wanted to
put Biggie on the cover and Ditty insisted that he
get that spot instead of Biggie after Biggie passed. All right,

(21:24):
there's a lot more to this though, but I'll keep
you guys updated when we come back. We have under
the radar those are the stories that may not be
in the headlines. They're flying under the radar, but they're
definitely just as important as way up.

Speaker 1 (21:36):
News.

Speaker 5 (21:36):
This in the news that relates to you. These stories
are flying under the radar.

Speaker 3 (21:41):
All right, it's way up on Antela. Yee mano is here?
No man now, no may no, this is under the radar.

Speaker 2 (21:47):
You were talking about the story about eight black men
who were removed from a flight.

Speaker 4 (21:50):
Yeah, what was old?

Speaker 3 (21:51):
That was crazy on American airlines.

Speaker 2 (21:53):
I'm gonna give you the story because I know a
lot of us saw that headline. But this lawsuit was
filed in federal court yesterday, and so three people are
filing and they say that they and five other black
mail passengers were removed from that flight from Phoenix to
JFK in January without any valid reason, based solely on
their race. They did not know each other, they were

(22:13):
not seated together. They said a representative from the airline
approached them, each of them and asked them to leave
the plane and return to the.

Speaker 3 (22:20):
Gate to be rebust crazy. Once they got to the.

Speaker 2 (22:22):
Jet bridge, they saw several other black men were also
being removed from the plane. In fact, they said it
was all of the black mail passengers on the whole flight. Yeah,
once they were off, they were told the reason. Someone
told an employee that they.

Speaker 4 (22:37):
Smell something bad body and said get all these black men. Yeah,
that is complete.

Speaker 2 (22:41):
They said they were being treated unfairly due to their race,
and an American Airline staff members said she did not disagree.

Speaker 3 (22:47):
They were eventually allowed back.

Speaker 2 (22:49):
On the plane after nearly an hour when the airline
determined that there were no available flights going to JFK
Airport that evening, So they then had to reboard the
plane and everybody was staring at them. They said it
was gary, humiliating, degrading, traumatic, upsetting and all of those things.
And so American Airlines that they take all claims of
discrimination very seriously and my customers to have a positive experience.

Speaker 4 (23:11):
No, we don't care what you said. You've discriminated.

Speaker 2 (23:13):
That is a.

Speaker 3 (23:15):
Can you imagine they come and tap you?

Speaker 6 (23:17):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (23:17):
I couldn't imagine that. I've been kicked off planes before,
did you behavior, Yes for me, for my rights and
and and you know, talking crazy to somebody that deserved it.
So I understand them kicking me off, But to be
sitting there in the seat in your seat and somebody
tells you that you got to go with.

Speaker 2 (23:36):
It, and then you see all the other black right,
everybody's all right, well, that is your under the radar.

Speaker 3 (23:40):
And you know we got the way up mix at
the top of the hour.

Speaker 2 (23:42):
Plus the mail cast of sisters is going to be
joining us today. They would have all got kicked off
that flight. That's daval Ellis, Tito Wakocha, Brian Jordan Junior,
Brandon Wellington.

Speaker 3 (23:53):
If you watch the show, you know the characters.

Speaker 2 (23:55):
We got Crazy Gary coming in here, we got Zach,
we got all of them.

Speaker 3 (23:58):
It's way up.

Speaker 2 (23:59):
It's like the tut like they Angela Jean like they
Angeli Jean.

Speaker 1 (24:03):
Man, she's spilling it all. This is yet way off.

Speaker 2 (24:08):
All right, it's way up. I'm here, Mano's here, No
man yea tea time?

Speaker 3 (24:14):
All right.

Speaker 2 (24:15):
Well mel By, you know her from the Spice Girls.
Her ex husband is taking legal action against her. He
wants her to pay him five million dollars in damages
for defaming him with allegations of abuse that he alleges
our false. All right, so he filed that suit in
Florida sometime this week. He said it was a smear
campaign against him, attempting to cause him severe emotional distress

(24:36):
and destroy his reputation, and she, he says, she has
stopped nothing to falsely charge him cribs and horrific offenses
including physical beatings, rape, financial abuse, emotional abuse, sex trafficking,
and illegal gun possession. Hey, so you know they had
a very ugly Stephen Belafonte. He is her husband, you do, yeah, okay.

(24:59):
Lenny Kravitz says he's been celibate for nine years, and
he says that he doesn't have casual flings anymore until
he's not going to do sex at all until he
finds the right woman. And that was inspired by his dad,
who was an NBC News producer. Side Kravits cheated on
his mom and reflecting on that infidelity, and you know,
his mom was roxy broker who was on the Jeffersons Right,

(25:22):
he said that his dad predicted he'd ended up living
the same lifestyle and it turned out to be true.
After he got married to Lisa Bonet and that fell
apart in nineteen ninety one. He said he started acting
like a player and so now he has discipline, and
that's nine years of celibacy.

Speaker 4 (25:35):
That's crazy. He did the same thing I did.

Speaker 2 (25:37):
You had a celebration. It's different. It's not celibacy speaking
a celebration. Madonna is being sued. A fan says that
he was forced to watch sex acts during her Celebration tour.

Speaker 3 (25:48):
That's the celebration you had, all right.

Speaker 2 (25:51):
So he says he was blindsided by all the sex
stuff during her tour and she should have given a
heads up to folks before they their money. Yeah, she
said things got very sexual. He said he was forced
to watch topless women on stage simulating Sea and he
said the show felt like he was watching porn. So
he said he got physically ill from watching these things.

(26:14):
Stop he's upset, Come all right. Serena Williams is now
a co owner of Michael Jordan's and Coro tequila brand.
So congratulations to him, to her and him. She joins
Derry Jeter and also professional golf champions Dustin Johnson, Keeg
and Bradley DraftKings co founders Jason Robins, Matt Kalish and
Paul Lieberman as an investor.

Speaker 3 (26:34):
So that's a big deal. I like Sinkoro tequila.

Speaker 4 (26:37):
I would like to have that one.

Speaker 2 (26:39):
I would like to try the extra a Yejo, but
it's quite pricey. I've only had the a yej Mark Jordan.
If you're listening, can you send us some extra A yeah?

Speaker 3 (26:47):
Thank you? All right.

Speaker 2 (26:49):
Meganis Dallion is on the cover of lo Ficle magazine
and she talks about a lot of things, including her
mental health journey. She said, I don't want to be
my old self anymore because I don't think I was
processing my feelings properly. I was the type of person
who worked through everything, like forget it, I'm going to
just go to work and for let my schedule. She
also says that she felt like people hated her at
a certain point and it felt so awful every day.

(27:11):
She said, it was a hard place to get out of.
I don't even want to care who hates me. What
I should be focusing on is the love that I
do receive. That's what I'm trying to get better about now.
And she talks about the line for female rappers that
you don't want to cross.

Speaker 3 (27:25):
So yeah, a full article where you can hear from
Megan thee Stallion.

Speaker 2 (27:28):
She's been doing great on her tour with sold out
shows and dates, so it's nice to see that women
on these tours breaking records and selling out shows across
the country and across the world. Such a big deal,
all right, So shout out to Megandet Stallion. Now, Oj
Simpson his estate was hit with five hundred thousand dollars
for a tax lean and that could affect the money

(27:50):
that Nicole Brown, Simpson and Ron Goldman's families are supposed
to get from his estate. So you know he Yeah,
if they can't even get that money from the money
that he doesn't have, right, that's terrible. All right, Well
that is your yee tea. And when we come back,
ask yee. Now you know I'm here with my award

(28:10):
winning advice giving friend new Reno and we're ready to
give you guys, any advice that you need. We want
to help you out because we really care. Eight hundred
two nine two fifty one fifty. When we come back,
we have asked ye.

Speaker 5 (28:23):
Whether it's relationship for career advice. Angela's dropping facts. This
is Askee.

Speaker 3 (28:29):
What's up his way up at Angela? Yeah, I'm Angela.

Speaker 2 (28:31):
Yee mano is here good to ask ye on the
line as we sit here and eat this Jamaican food today,
we have Veronica on the line. Except Veronica, Hi Andela
are you? I'm a good How are you?

Speaker 3 (28:43):
It's me and Mano, how are you doing?

Speaker 5 (28:47):
Good?

Speaker 4 (28:47):
Good?

Speaker 10 (28:47):
Good?

Speaker 6 (28:48):
Okay?

Speaker 7 (28:48):
So how do it be nice to my boyfriend who
has gained a lot of weight. Before when we were dating,
he was nice and fun. He was going to the gym,
playing basketball. Now you've got that relationship after two years
the relationship happy? Way, Like, how can I be nice
about it? Like you need to lose some weight because
you're fat.

Speaker 4 (29:06):
Do just that? Don't be nice? Listen before you're fat
getting back in the gym.

Speaker 2 (29:11):
I will say, you know your boyfriend better than anybody.
Some people can handle that well and some people. You
have to be a little bit more sensitive gett in
a gym because some people are okay with you being like, look,
you're getting fat and we got to deal with this,
and some people will not like that approach. So what
approach do you feel like with your boyfriend can work?

Speaker 7 (29:31):
I'm thinking I go and stay for it, like may okay, listen.

Speaker 3 (29:34):
Right, you can it's nice in the winter and it's summer. Okay. Well,
you know what.

Speaker 2 (29:39):
Though, I always feel like when people want to make
sure that their partner is at their best. You can
actually participate in helping make that happen, because sometimes we
put on a happy weight because we are both not
eating the way that we should be eating and doing
different things. And so maybe if you can implement this
into how you guys go to the gym, win, go
to the him together, the meals that you guys eat, like,

(30:03):
encourage each other to do better, cook more at home,
you know, So just things like that and figure out
how you can work on this together, because I think
it's always good when you approach things in a couple
as a team.

Speaker 7 (30:15):
All Right, you're right, because we be eating a lot
of McDonald's lately.

Speaker 4 (30:19):
Stay away from the mcdams. This is your fault.

Speaker 3 (30:22):
Yeah see, And that's what I'm saying.

Speaker 2 (30:24):
It's got to be an effort on both of your parts,
because it's really hard to be with somebody and they
eat and McDonald's and I'm not supposed to him.

Speaker 7 (30:33):
Right, you're right, Thank you so much, guys.

Speaker 2 (30:35):
All right, Veronica, all right, Well that was asking eight
hundred two nine two fifty one fifty. If you have
any questions, you can always leave a voicemail and Mano
and I will help you out.

Speaker 4 (30:46):
I got the advice, we know.

Speaker 2 (30:48):
And when we come back, you're gonna get a ton
of advice because the guys from the hit show Sisters
are going to be joining us and we're gonna be
talking about the new season that just started. Well it's
the midway break of the seven seas and so that
just started yesterday, but we'll be talking to them today.

Speaker 3 (31:03):
It's way up, we do this.

Speaker 1 (31:05):
Yeah, yeah, more Way up with Angela? Now what it is?

Speaker 3 (31:11):
What's up as Way up with Angela? Yea, I'm Angela.

Speaker 11 (31:14):
Ye.

Speaker 3 (31:14):
My girl Jasmine brand is here. Yes.

Speaker 2 (31:16):
Oh man, I am so excited because we have some
of the men from Sisters joining us today. Part two
of season seven is out right now, so I'm excited
for it because I've seen every single episode, yeah, since
season one.

Speaker 3 (31:30):
Just so you guys know. But Brandon Wellington is here.

Speaker 2 (31:32):
You're now a series regular, right and you play Tony Cheeto?

Speaker 3 (31:37):
Did I say that? Okay?

Speaker 2 (31:39):
Coach is here, Gary, and of course Brian Jordan Junior
is here.

Speaker 3 (31:50):
Maurice.

Speaker 2 (31:51):
We got to talk because you make some terrible decisions
though Akay, no, I never did nothing that's crazy.

Speaker 4 (32:00):
Don't want to kill about it.

Speaker 2 (32:01):
Zach is here and you can also watch him on
the spin off Zatima.

Speaker 3 (32:05):
Yes, what's there to Maurice?

Speaker 2 (32:06):
Since I'm looking at well, I keep calling I'm gonna
call you by your character names. But Maurice, you dated
a guy Q who came into the bank, scammed jall,
rob y'all, and you still let him come and stay
with you. And that is so like And you lost
your job and you went to jail and you still
was there.

Speaker 3 (32:24):
For him because he was kind. Now explain in your
character as Maurice, why that would happen.

Speaker 5 (32:30):
Love can make people do crazy things, right, especially if
you feel like you haven't had it.

Speaker 1 (32:35):
Weurice is just like anybody.

Speaker 4 (32:36):
I know a lot of people who be doing some
crazy stuff.

Speaker 2 (32:39):
Well, listen, since we hair out of character, what is
the craziest thing that you guys would saying you've done
for love?

Speaker 3 (32:45):
There you look at it and you're like, damn, that
was stupid.

Speaker 4 (32:47):
I met this girl in like twenty eleven. She was
a doctor.

Speaker 11 (32:50):
I was only selling gym memberships at Bally's and she
was like, I'm not really supposed to be dang you.
It was a different culture kind of thing, and they
start getting serious. And then I'm like, yo, I will
prove to you that I'm worthy of like your love.
So I started going overboard with everything. I took on
helicopter tours in New York. I'm like the game, let's
do all the stuff in.

Speaker 3 (33:06):
The valleys the salary.

Speaker 11 (33:08):
But I had discovered credit cards at twenty one, and
I was like, oh, okay, so I could charge this.

Speaker 4 (33:13):
Through my future credit for love? Yeah, I look up,
I'm twenty one, twenty four hundred dollars deep.

Speaker 1 (33:20):
Over days. How this happened? It didn't work out?

Speaker 3 (33:23):
And look at you now?

Speaker 2 (33:24):
You know.

Speaker 3 (33:25):
I wonder what she's doing right?

Speaker 4 (33:27):
Actually, no, no, she's.

Speaker 1 (33:28):
Doing I know that.

Speaker 3 (33:32):
We know you've done some crazy things for love.

Speaker 12 (33:34):
Yeah, I know. You moved my girlfriend across the country
then I married her.

Speaker 4 (33:39):
Crazy.

Speaker 3 (33:40):
So I ever heard about I had to do with
the bathroom?

Speaker 12 (33:42):
Oh but that was that was that was at Detroit,
and that was a Detroit that was in Detroit.

Speaker 4 (33:47):
Yeah, it was bad. Look, she she wants me to
tell the story.

Speaker 3 (33:51):
In case someone hasn't heard this story, is all right,
I'll tell.

Speaker 4 (33:53):
You start it.

Speaker 12 (33:55):
I will embarrass myself and you Angela all right, perfect,
I love a good story.

Speaker 4 (33:59):
So I was I was.

Speaker 12 (34:01):
A rookie in the NFL, and it's like all the
rookies go this way. So I'm getting ready to go
that way, and my stomach is I'm nervous. So I'm like,
excuse me, go to the bathroom, and they just like, yeah, yeah,
go to the bathroom. So when I get to the bathroom,
I put the little sheet down. It fell, so then
I turned back around to get the sheet and then.

Speaker 4 (34:18):
Suck out all over the door. It was like, nervous.

Speaker 12 (34:23):
I ever heard this, right, I said, I'm leaving, So
I went like two stalls down. Then I heard the
team coming in right. So the team starts coming in right.
So then I hear somebody you know going through the
door and they go, yo, what So I flushed the tout.
I'm like, oh, so man, I'm looking at and I'm

(34:44):
not gonna say the guy's name. But we started bonding
over because I was like, this is a mess. I'm said,
you we but need to be cut, so now just
wash my hands. I walked out, so I went back
in and I went back in there. As soon as
I get back in, they said, we heard there was
an accident in the bathroom.

Speaker 1 (34:59):
The value all.

Speaker 12 (35:00):
Right, yeah, you are right, no, fine, and then they
were just like it was like did you see anything? Nah,
I was in the toilet and some dude came. It
was Alignment and he came. Some stuff happened. I just
tried to deflect everything. And now everybody in Detroit gonna
know it was me who stuffed the bathroom.

Speaker 4 (35:16):
But it is what it is.

Speaker 2 (35:17):
Man daval Ellischo, Brian Jordan Junior, Brandon Wellington. You know
them from Sisters. We have more with them when we
come back. It's way up.

Speaker 1 (35:25):
Yeah, yeah, more way up with Angela on them. You
know what it is?

Speaker 3 (35:32):
What's up? His way up with Angela? Ye, I'm Angela yee.

Speaker 2 (35:34):
Jasmine brand is here with me and we are talking
to the guys from the cast of Sisters are joining us.
Now let's get into Tito's character aka Gary. How is
it for you playing that villain role because there are
instances where you are like throwing women to the ground
and having to actually be violent on camera. So what
is your mindset when that's happening.

Speaker 9 (35:55):
Oh man, it's tough for me. Gary is a complex charactersformance.
I don't promote any right, that's violence, of course, but
the character is someone that a lot of women have
come across in their lives, clearly from the dms and
messages I get and people running up on me in
the airport and everybody aspect of my livelihood. So it's
a lot. But I have to share this store because

(36:15):
it was the craziest instant when I was during the pandemic.
I was at a I won't say the store, but
I walk in and then line getting ready to get
my stuff, and the lady comes up and she's just like,
what you need to do is leave that girl alone
and keep your hands to yourself out loud, and I'm.

Speaker 3 (36:28):
Like, what girl.

Speaker 1 (36:35):
Crazy?

Speaker 9 (36:36):
Everyone in the lines looking at me, and then that
was my first.

Speaker 4 (36:38):
Like, oh, she's talking about the show.

Speaker 1 (36:41):
The show, Yeah, thank you so much.

Speaker 4 (36:42):
I appreciate yea, yeah, the characters. That's crazy.

Speaker 9 (36:45):
And she walks off and people just kind of looking like.

Speaker 4 (36:49):
The show you're on, we.

Speaker 3 (36:50):
Can't stand your character, which means you're doing a great job.

Speaker 6 (36:54):
Yeah.

Speaker 9 (36:54):
Get is a complex character. I have three sisters listen
to their stories about men and and I definitely pulled
from it and created the Gary character who's guid us
at the end of day. He's like, if I can
have you, no one can happen.

Speaker 2 (37:06):
Right now we are talking to Dava Ellis Tuto Akocha,
Brian Jordan Junior, Brandon Wellington. You know them from Sisters
and Brandon. Congratulations on your engagement. How did you propose?

Speaker 1 (37:17):
I'm a poet.

Speaker 11 (37:18):
I got to New York on a poetry scholarship. It's
been like the gift that kept giving.

Speaker 4 (37:21):
Uh, I end up. I want to hear me for
a poetry right back. Let's hear the proposal right now.
The proposal off the top.

Speaker 1 (37:27):
It's called you are the Gift.

Speaker 3 (37:29):
I know you memorized it.

Speaker 4 (37:30):
Actually, don't memorize.

Speaker 1 (37:38):
I'm about to be waived. Hey, if you want to freestylist,
you can go ahead.

Speaker 11 (37:44):
Those are the first Christmas that they had at her
family's house as their mom had passed, and so they
finally got everybody back together. She planned it and did
all the decorations things she used to do with her mom,
and so she brought the whole family back together for
the first time in like two years.

Speaker 4 (37:55):
And so this is how it starts.

Speaker 11 (37:57):
It says, I honored to be here with you and
your family bring into Christmas.

Speaker 4 (38:00):
Chair.

Speaker 11 (38:01):
I'm honestly amazed at what can happen in the year.
Holidays was once a flight at Hike and a trip
that I would happily make.

Speaker 1 (38:07):
Because you are the gift.

Speaker 11 (38:09):
It's evident in every decoration that we see and in
the glee that you uphold family tradition like ornaments on
the tree. You thrive in moments like this that will
bring your family love and bliss because that's what you
do when you are the gift. You're always putting others
before self, taking on the extra task before asking for help.
