Speaker 1 (04:31):
Yeah, good morning man.
Speaker 2 (04:33):
Listen.
Speaker 3 (04:33):
And we were discussing this yesterday as the news broke
while we were up here. But the Dream has now
been accused of rape now. The person who issuing him
is also a former protege. Her name is Shana's Mangro
and she says in her suit that in twenty fifteen,
(04:54):
he used promises to promote her career to entangle her
in an abusive relationship where he repeatedly forced to have sex,
strangled her, and once made a video recording of an
intimate encounter and threatened to show it to other people.
And in her lawsuit she says that he was controlling
her life, forcing her into unwanted sex and physically abusing her.
(05:15):
She also accuses him of sex trafficking and she said
what Dream did to me made it impossible to live
the life I envisioned for myself and pursue my goals
as a singer and songwriter. She did end up getting
a deal and her deal was at Epic, but then
she later got dropped because no music was ever turned in,
and so she also talks about the time that she
claims that they were in the movie theater and he
(05:37):
forced her to have sex while other people were in
the theater. Sometimes, she said he would hold her down
and refuse to use a condom despite her protests. And
he also made promises to her about her career, saying
that she could be the opening act for Beyonce's next tour,
and he became more controlling and violent. He placed her
in a hotel in Atlanta, had staff monitor her movements,
berated her unless she regularly checked in with him, her
(06:00):
with alcohol and marijuana, and forced to have sex while
he recorded it, and then later, like we said, threatened
to show that footage to other people. So now this
is her lawsuit. Now he has responded, and his statement says,
I oppose all forms of harassment. I have always strived
to help people realize their career goals as someone committed
to making a positive impact on my fellow artists and
(06:22):
the world at large. I am deeply offended and saddened
by these accusations.
Speaker 1 (06:26):
No, what he's saying, that's his statement. That was a statement. Yes, yes, no,
what was his statement.
Speaker 2 (06:34):
You don't like that.
Speaker 1 (06:35):
I'm just saying that that was the statement.
Speaker 2 (06:37):
Yeah, opposing all what all forms of harassment?
Speaker 3 (06:40):
Oh so he's offended and he's saddened by these accusations.
Speaker 9 (06:46):
Was he no, because I'm saying I would never want
to be in that situation. It's like, I'm emphatically not guilty.
Speaker 3 (06:53):
Right right, I mean, listen, at the same time, you
also want to be sensitive to people who have But I.
Speaker 2 (06:59):
Guess we'll have to watch how this plays out.
Speaker 3 (07:01):
But this was an article that was in the New
York Times, and you know, we'll see and we'll keep
updating you guys, because this is still in the early
stages of us finding out about this lawsuit. But this
is from twenty fifteen. She says this all started so
they was like dating, but no, she was signed to him,
and then she said, artist, he forced her into this
(07:22):
relationship and made her all kinds of business promises that
he didn't deliver, and then things continue to spiral. You know,
it's difficult when you're a person who's in a position
of power over somebody, right right, that is, and then
there's somebody who feels like I need to do this,
I have to do this. Sided it is something that
does happen all right now, Kanye West is count suing
(07:43):
his ex assistant over her sexual harassment claims and says
that they are baseless. His reptole TMZ in response to
these baseless allegations, Yeah, will be filing a lawsuit against
miss Picciota, who actively pursued him sexually to a coerce
employment and other material benefits, that engaged in blackmail and
extortion when her advances were rejected. He also says his
(08:06):
former assistant stole his phone in an attempt to erase
evidence that would disprove her claims. But you know, she's
suing him for wrongfol termination and you know. His team
also says that she sent nude images of herself to
him and tried to solicit him for sex and frequently
making demands for luxury items like a Birken bag, a Lamborghini,
and the team denied all of those claims.
Speaker 1 (08:28):
Wow, that's not happening. Yeah, I did find her all.
Speaker 3 (08:32):
Right, Well that is your yet and when we come back,
we have about last night. I guess we know what
you did last night, but we'll discuss it.
Speaker 1 (08:39):
It's way up, So about last night went down?
Speaker 3 (08:46):
It's way app I'm here, Angela and Mano's here. Maybe yeah,
so last night, we know you were looking for IG's.
Speaker 2 (08:53):
What else were you doing?
Speaker 10 (08:54):
I was.
Speaker 9 (08:55):
I went to a Vasachi event. Shout out to Rashida
on shadow her. She she had a VASACEI event at
the Vasace store in Soho on Green.
Speaker 2 (09:04):
Oh, that's nice.
Speaker 1 (09:05):
I went there.
Speaker 9 (09:06):
I was moving around the city. I hung out a
little bit with Jody Joy and my man.
Speaker 3 (09:10):
Troy Okay, Jordijoya, that's nice.
Speaker 2 (09:14):
Listen.
Speaker 3 (09:14):
Versace had a sample sale the other day, right that
they sent out like advice to and it turned into
like a huge they had to shut it down on Green. Yeah,
well no, I don't know. It was at a place
they had it at. I forgot the name of the place,
but it wasn't at the store. It was at a
place where they were doing like these huge example.
Speaker 1 (09:32):
Yeah, because they revamp and they just came out with
a new sneaker. It's pretty cool.
Speaker 9 (09:36):
So they I see, they got a couple of new
things that they didn't have. I think that the guy
that was designing for Beliniciaga is now designing for Vasace.
Speaker 2 (09:44):
You got money, That's what I'm saying. Look at you.
I for Rude.
Speaker 3 (09:46):
That's an expensive brand, right, there. Yeah, this is a
that's a really expensive brand. I always see that in
the stand and I'm like, I don't think so. And
the brand name goes with your personality.
Speaker 1 (09:55):
I'm not that rude, but.
Speaker 3 (09:58):
Every time I see them, always like this is so expen.
You know, I haven't been spending money on things lately.
But what I want to do, and I want to
know if anybody out here does, is sell some of
my old items, because there's so many things that I
don't use. And I know you lose everything, give everything away,
and I do that too, but certain things I feel
like are have value, but I.
Speaker 1 (10:19):
Don't you want to hold on to it.
Speaker 2 (10:21):
Yeah, you feel like, well this is valuable, but maybe
I should just sell some things.
Speaker 9 (10:23):
But I see a lot of people is such and
such closet. Yeah, I've never done that.
Speaker 2 (10:31):
We should do it.
Speaker 3 (10:32):
I want to get rid of some things, you know.
And I was just showing you a little video of
my closet because y'all know i've been moving.
Speaker 9 (10:39):
Video send it to people. My son sells my stuff. Yeah,
he takes my stuff and he goes too far. You're
still using I'm like, yo, I'm looking for this sweatsuit. Oh, Dad,
I ain't even gonna lie to you, but I I
did something with that.
Speaker 8 (10:53):
What.
Speaker 2 (10:53):
Oh my gosh, he's an entrepreneur, you know what.
Speaker 3 (10:57):
I also have and my brother, my brother who's at
my house right now helping me out. I have the
first ever designer bag I got. It's a little tiny
Gucci bag and my brother bought it for me.
Speaker 1 (11:07):
Classic. Yeah, it's a little Classic Maker.
Speaker 2 (11:09):
I found that.
Speaker 3 (11:09):
I'll never get rid of that. But it's very small.
But I was so hyped when I got it. All right, Well, anyway,
that's about last night when we come back, tell us
a secret. Eight hundred two nine two fifty one fifty.
I feel like you just told us a good one
before the show started.
Speaker 1 (11:23):
It wasn't a secret.
Speaker 2 (11:25):
But it has to do with my brother too.
Speaker 3 (11:27):
Yeah, anyway, eight hundred two nine two fifty one fifty.
There are certain things that maybe you feel like, I
don't want to take this to the grave.
Speaker 2 (11:35):
I want to put it out there.
Speaker 1 (11:36):
Please let us know.
Speaker 2 (11:37):
Yeah, we want to know about it.
Speaker 3 (11:38):
And you get to be anonymous and we're not going
to judge judging your eight hundred two nine two fifty
one fifty. Call us up and tell us a secret.
Speaker 10 (11:47):
This is a judgment free zone. Tell us a secret.
Speaker 2 (11:51):
What's up this way?
Speaker 1 (11:52):
Yea?
Speaker 2 (11:52):
But angela yea, I'm angela ye manos here saying we're
gonna do talking to some money? Okay? Oh is it
a secret? All right? Eight hundred and two night two
fifty one fifty. Call us up and tell us a secret.
Speaker 1 (12:05):
What's up anonymous?
Speaker 3 (12:06):
Call it?
Speaker 2 (12:06):
What's your secret?
Speaker 11 (12:07):
I just proposed to my fiance, but she doesn't know
that I have another wife.
Speaker 2 (12:15):
Oh my gosh, all right, what are you?
Speaker 11 (12:18):
But I'm married at the same time.
Speaker 3 (12:20):
Are you happily married or are you about to get
a divorce?
Speaker 1 (12:24):
Are you?
Speaker 5 (12:25):
We have a kid.
Speaker 11 (12:26):
We have a kid together, so I'm trying to make
it work. But I like the other one as well.
Speaker 1 (12:30):
Nice. How are you going to do this?
Speaker 2 (12:31):
How do you plan to do this?
Speaker 11 (12:34):
I'm gonna propose to her and I'm gonna record it,
and then I'm gonna show my.
Speaker 8 (12:37):
Wife to see if she give me the divorce papers.
Speaker 11 (12:40):
She don't want to divorce me.
Speaker 3 (12:41):
Also, the problem is, so you and your wife you
want to get divorced. How do you think your fiance
is gonna want to?
Speaker 11 (12:48):
I want her to break up with me. I don't
want to break up with her because I feel bad. Wow,
So I'm going to show her that I'm in another relationship.
Speaker 2 (12:55):
So that doesn't make you feel bad to do that.
Speaker 9 (12:57):
Yeah, that's gonna make it makes me feel bad, right,
but I don't I don't know what to do.
Speaker 11 (13:02):
Any advice that feels.
Speaker 9 (13:03):
Like a little more hardcore, right right, So listen, check
this out, right, do you have any other reason to
break up with her?
Speaker 1 (13:09):
Like has she been a good white or the bills?
Speaker 11 (13:12):
The bills, okay, like she's not doing enough. And then
the girl that I'm talking to now, who I want
to be my fiance. She's kind of financially stable.
Speaker 1 (13:21):
She don't know you have somebody else at all.
Speaker 8 (13:23):
No, she don't know at all.
Speaker 1 (13:24):
Oh, you've been outside working.
Speaker 2 (13:28):
I think you definitely got to tell this woman what's
going on.
Speaker 3 (13:31):
She's not gonna want I wouldn't want to marry somebody
who's already basing our relationship off of a lie, and
that I need the information.
Speaker 1 (13:38):
He's you've been working, your treachery man, in your deceit.
Speaker 11 (13:41):
So you think I should tell? From what I'm talking
to now.
Speaker 3 (13:44):
I think you should tell her, And I think you
should tell your wife that it's not working and if
you don't want.
Speaker 9 (13:50):
To be with her, don't even have a real reason
to break up with her. She's probably been a good
woman to him.
Speaker 11 (13:55):
She's a good woman.
Speaker 3 (13:57):
She deserves better her housewife Like, she's not doing nothing,
she's not making me happy.
Speaker 1 (14:02):
But you knew that. You knew that when you got
married to everything. You knew that when you got married
to an adult.
Speaker 11 (14:08):
I know, But now we got a kid together, so
it's like I don't even know where I'm at where
I stand.
Speaker 9 (14:14):
You should have a conversation with both of them, opposed
to just showing her you in another relationship.
Speaker 1 (14:20):
That's going to be a harder roof to fall from.
Speaker 3 (14:22):
What would you want your child to think about you
later on in life.
Speaker 11 (14:26):
I want him to think that I tried to work
and hiss out with his mom and I gave up
when she started giving up.
Speaker 3 (14:32):
Well, having a kid can also sometimes change a woman
for a while. Have you thought about that, like things
might be different after having a baby and going through
what she went through me I might be.
Speaker 11 (14:42):
A little bit of an ass. Do you think about
it in that sense?
Speaker 2 (14:45):
Yeah? I think you aren't asked and you should.
Speaker 1 (14:48):
Work on that, all right.
Speaker 11 (14:50):
I appreciate it.
Speaker 3 (14:51):
Okay, thank you, No judgment.
Speaker 1 (14:55):
No judgment.
Speaker 3 (14:55):
Sorry, he was a call that How are you?
Speaker 2 (15:00):
You sound sad? You want to tell me a mano
a secret?
Speaker 5 (15:03):
A couple of years ago, I had one more mom
to go get her hair done, and.
Speaker 8 (15:07):
I wound up like sleeping with her hair dresser, get
her hair.
Speaker 1 (15:13):
You slept with your mother's hair dressing.
Speaker 11 (15:15):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (15:16):
I don't think your mother will be bothered by that.
Speaker 2 (15:18):
But she get a discount.
Speaker 1 (15:19):
Now that's the real thing. Mamma get a discount. Yeah,
get mama discount.
Speaker 8 (15:23):
Nah.
Speaker 5 (15:24):
They're like real close friends, like best friend.
Speaker 9 (15:26):
Definitely got a reason to give a discount best friends.
Speaker 2 (15:29):
Did you always like her?
Speaker 1 (15:31):
Nah?
Speaker 11 (15:31):
She made the move because she always used to say, Oh,
I can't wait to get older, because I'm gonna get
you when you're older.
Speaker 10 (15:37):
She got you too. That.
Speaker 2 (15:39):
Actually that's a little creepy, a lot of creepy. Wow.
Speaker 3 (15:45):
All right, well you got groomed. How old were you
when this happened?
Speaker 11 (15:49):
I was twenty two?
Speaker 1 (15:52):
Okay, young man?
Speaker 3 (15:53):
All right, well, thank you for calling and sharing with
us at least all right, Well, that was tell us
a secret. See there was no judgment today. Oh no,
you judged eight nine fifty one fifty. When we come back,
we have some yut for you. Some congratulations are in order.
We'll tell you who is expecting its way up.
Speaker 4 (16:10):
Oh she's about to blow the lid off this pot.
Speaker 1 (16:12):
Let's get it.
Speaker 4 (16:13):
Angelus feeling that yet, come and get to see.
Speaker 3 (16:17):
All right, it's way up on Angela. Yee manos here,
no man gang. All right, and let's talk about Adrian
Browner because I could tell your reaction to this.
Speaker 1 (16:25):
Oh my god.
Speaker 2 (16:27):
All right.
Speaker 3 (16:27):
Well, he was having a pre fight presser for his
fight against Blair Cops that's going to be happening on Friday,
June seventh, And here's what he had to say during
this press conference.
Speaker 7 (16:39):
Don't play no games because Mike got guns with him, bro,
and all I gotta do is plint and they gonna
blow and me and Mike we didn't already beat bodies,
and they still looking for me, and every charge been acquitted.
So don't come up here playing, don't don't make no
false move carell I'm not here to play.
Speaker 1 (16:56):
Was he was he intoxicated?
Speaker 2 (16:58):
I don't know he had to be in Let's break
that down.
Speaker 3 (17:00):
So he said they've already beat bodies and has been acquitted.
Speaker 1 (17:05):
But they're still looking for That is a terrible hardy
that don't even make no sense.
Speaker 11 (17:09):
Man.
Speaker 9 (17:09):
I think maybe he was over talking and maybe he
was a need read it or something.
Speaker 1 (17:14):
I don't know, Like that doesn't even make sense, you
know what.
Speaker 2 (17:16):
I know a lot of times to get things hype,
people trash talk.
Speaker 9 (17:20):
Right, so this was that U presser presser right, So
it was, uh, you trash talking, but you're saying that
the police is looking for you, but you already quit it.
Speaker 2 (17:31):
Got to quit it. Yeah, So I don't know.
Speaker 3 (17:34):
But anyway, speaking of police looking for people, Sean Kingston,
he as you know, has been accused of one million
dollars in fraud. He did bind out though a Brower
County jail. Oh ye out, Yeah he is out. And
so he was booked on Sunday and his mother was
also arrested the same day as as Sean Kingston was.
And you know, she pleaded guilty in two thousand and
(17:54):
sixty bank fraud for stealing over one hundred and sixty
thousand dollars. She served nearly a year and a half
in prison. I remember because when Seohn Kingston first was
blowing up. His mom wasn't around. He was shipped from
California to Florida and his one million dollar for our case.
And they also want him to pay for being transported.
So they want him to pay that fifty two hundred
(18:17):
dollars because taxpayers had to pay for that as he's
facing these ten charges. So yeah, we'll see what happens. Yeah,
she's she got home first, all right. Revolt has announced
new ownership. Their employees are now the owners of Revolt TV.
So they said, we are stepping into the most revolutionary,
revolutionary chapter yet for a Revolt. When I joined in
(18:40):
twenty twenty, I quickly realized two things. Our mission is
bigger than any individual, and we are the largest engine
for transformative change that just so happens to be a
media company. That's Tatavia, who is the CEO that was
saying that. He said, over the past four years, this
engine has created countless opportunities to build wealth for our community.
So he said, today, we are most proud of the
transformation that our teams will experience as a shift from
(19:02):
being employees to owners of the business they are helping
to build. Black culture is global culture and revolt Superpower
is being the home for creators that move culture globally.
So they're saying the shares that were held by Diddy,
who's the former chairman, have been fully redeemed and retired.
They want to make this the largest media company powered
by creators and that's the plan.
Speaker 1 (19:23):
So did he give them the shares? Wel did they
have to buy a share?
Speaker 3 (19:27):
Well, his shares have been retired, and so I don't
know what the makings are behind the scenes. And I'm
sure at some point somebody is going to want to
be like so business wise, how does this work?
Speaker 1 (19:38):
Okay?
Speaker 3 (19:39):
And congratulations to Ebonie k Williams. She is pregnant with
her first baby. She has a girl that is due
August sixteenth. I know Ebane had to have a girl.
I know that name, Ebanie K Williams. You know she's
an attorney.
Speaker 1 (19:54):
She's an equal justice with Judge k Williams. Start.
Speaker 2 (19:57):
You saw her on Real Housewives of New York's fighting for.
Speaker 1 (20:00):
Good black people, for the movement. Okay, piled to the people.
Speaker 3 (20:03):
All right, So congratulations to Ebony. And she gave that
exclusive to People magazine. She was using her frozen eggs
to pursue motherhood via sperm donation and IVF. And that
is your Yet when we come back, we have under
the radar. These are the stories that are not necessarily
in the headlines. They are flying under the radar. We'll
tell you what This is a big story. I mean
(20:24):
President Biden, what he's doing at the border. But we'll
also talk about what's going on with congestion pricing in
New York City. Pay attention because this is going to
affect the rest of the nation too.
Speaker 2 (20:34):
It's way up.
Speaker 4 (20:35):
This in the news that relates to you. These stories
are flying under the radar, all.
Speaker 3 (20:40):
Right, it's way up. I'm angela ye manos in the building,
all right. And President Biden has taken executive action and
this actually happened yesterday. He'll turn away migrants seeking asylum
who crossed the southern border illegally at times when there
is a high volume of daily encounters. This will be
in effect when the seven day average exceeds twenty five
hundred daily border crossings between ports of entry. So the
(21:04):
core of this new policy is they can refuse entry
to most foreign nationals across the border without prior authorization.
People are allowed to come though seeking asylum, so that
is illegal.
Speaker 1 (21:13):
It's twenty five hundred a day.
Speaker 3 (21:15):
Basically, No, it's a seven day average, so they average
out for that week and if it exceeds that, then
they'll be able to limit that, all right, And you
know this, there has been legislation on the desk all
this time, but the Republicans won't sign anything into order.
So now we have to do an executive order because
you know, Trump told them don't sign this, and so
(21:35):
they don't want to do it so that it looks
bad like nothing's happening, and then people blame whoever's in
power because nothing can happen. So now there's an executive order,
which is never temporary, I mean, which is never permanent,
so you know, legislation does have to happen, all right.
And congestion pricing in New York City has been indefinitely postponed.
You know, this was supposed to kick in June thirtieth,
(21:56):
and the Governor, Kathy Hokel, is convinced that timing is
not right. This matters to everybody because this is the
first city in the United States where there will be
congestion pricing, which means that when you come into Midtown
Manhattan between certain hours, you have to pay fifteen dollars
and that was supposed to to start June thirtieth, but
you know a lot of people are struggling financially. Imagine
(22:17):
now you have to pay this extra money. And even
if it's like a business, a lot of times those
costs get passed on to the business. So it's like
if you're a truck driver, if you're taking Uber, if
you know, however it is cabs, people have to pay
that idea.
Speaker 1 (22:31):
Who came up with that idea.
Speaker 3 (22:33):
It actually goes through transit, and so they're trying to
raise money for the transit system. So this doesn't have
anything to do with you know, governors and mayors. This
is transit that does that, that made that decision, and
I found that out when Mayor Eric Adams is up here.
So they've been trying to align on these issues. And
(22:55):
Eric Adams has said, we have to get it right.
We have to make sure it's not a due burden
on every day New York is. We have to make
sure that it's not going to impact our recovery. And
I know other major cities are watching to see what's
going to happen here. They may try to implement that
as well. It's something that happens in London already. All right, Well,
we have the way Up mix at the top of
the hour on the way. Plus we have a special
Wealth Wednesday guest Cedric and Nash and he's gonna be
(23:17):
giving us some great valuable information on AI, which y'all
need to know about to get involved, and also give
you some things that you can do to make sure
that you don't get behind. As companies are trying to
move more towards artificial intelligence, you can be involved.
Speaker 2 (23:31):
It's way up.
Speaker 1 (23:32):
It's like the tout, like they and like they ANGELI,
jeez man.
Speaker 4 (23:36):
She's spilling it all.
Speaker 1 (23:37):
This is yet way up.
Speaker 2 (23:41):
It's way up.
Speaker 3 (23:42):
I'm here, my guy Mainos. Now let's get into this yet.
A guitar owned by Prince has sold for a record amount.
They auctioned off this guitar. They thought it would go
for between four hundred and six hundred one thousand dollars,
but it ended up selling for over nine hundred thousand
dollars an auction. Is that crazy. It's the most expensive
(24:04):
Prince guitar to ever sell.
Speaker 2 (24:05):
It an auction.
Speaker 3 (24:06):
But you know what, the most expensive guitar that surpassed
Prince's record is John Lennon, a guitar that was owned
by him. So for two point eight five seven million dollars. Wow, goodness, gracious,
I wonder if somebody that even knows how to play
the guitar. But you know, that's a nice amount of money,
all right, Ja Cole. This video was making the rounds.
(24:28):
He was at a dealership looking for a Tesla cybertruck
and he was being ignored. The manager kept ignoring him
because he didn't know who he was. So somebody that
was there was actually filming that they were overshopping for
a car as well. J Cole just be chilling mine
of his business, being regular. I like that about him.
(24:49):
That's why he didn't want to get into that beef.
He was like, look, I just want to go get
my cyber truck, my my business, do my things, spend
my money, because I know he's got a lot of it.
Pharrell has unveiled his new jewelry collection with Tiffany's Have
you seen it?
Speaker 2 (25:03):
MANA? Does do you feel like?
Speaker 3 (25:05):
Because I think Pharrell gets so many looks when it
comes he does.
Speaker 1 (25:09):
He's making a lot of move to fashion.
Speaker 3 (25:11):
Have you ever been seeing Pharrell do something where something
and been like, that's dope, I want that.
Speaker 1 (25:17):
I like what he did with the Louis.
Speaker 3 (25:18):
Yeah, he did a great job with Louis and that
stuff sells for so much, so I'm sure with Tiffany
that's going to be super expensive and also hard to get.
Speaker 1 (25:27):
So he's definitely doing his thing. He could never to
play with these brands though.
Speaker 3 (25:33):
All right, now let's talk about washing your feet. Jason
Kelsey admitted that he doesn't wash his feet, and now
Travis Kelcey is also saying that sometimes you don't really
wash his feet either. He was on New Heights and
here's what happened.
Speaker 1 (25:46):
Who washes your legs? What kind of psychopath washes your feet?
What do you?
Speaker 10 (25:51):
Travis?
Speaker 1 (25:52):
Travis don't act.
Speaker 4 (25:53):
Like you feet every time, but after like a football practice,
like I say, Joe, where my feet have just been like, yes,
I washed my feet, you're not washing.
Speaker 3 (26:04):
Now Jason Kelsey had put on Twitter what kind of
weirdo washes their feet? And because somebody said Jason Kelsey
looks like he doesn't wash his legs or feet?
Speaker 1 (26:12):
What kind of widow doesn't wash his feet or legs.
Speaker 2 (26:15):
Yeah, I think that's gross.
Speaker 10 (26:16):
It is crazy.
Speaker 3 (26:17):
I haven't seen people with flip flops close to the
ground and the summer walking around and the bottom of
their feet are black, and it's so nasty.
Speaker 2 (26:24):
How could you not wash your feet?
Speaker 3 (26:26):
And then you know what I don't like when people
get in their bed after they've been out all day
and you know, and open toe's shoes and don't wash
their feet.
Speaker 2 (26:34):
And you know how dirty that is.
Speaker 1 (26:36):
With open sol's shoes all day and then get right
in the bed.
Speaker 2 (26:39):
Yeah, and don't wash their feet. That's so nasty.
Speaker 3 (26:41):
I have been raised and not even we don't even
walk around the house barefoot, right, We've always been told
we had to have something on our feet, all right.
Drake's the Heart Part six is gone from social media,
you know when he was going back and forth with Kendrick.
At first the song was only on YouTube and then
he started moaning it on Instagram.
Speaker 2 (27:01):
But now the posts have all disappeared.
Speaker 1 (27:03):
Why, I guess.
Speaker 2 (27:04):
He's clearing way for his summer music. So I'm just
making that up.
Speaker 1 (27:08):
I don't know, right, we don't know who sook it down, right.
Speaker 2 (27:10):
Yeah, this is I mean he did it's on his
pay was on his page.
Speaker 3 (27:14):
All right, well that is your yet when we come back,
we have asked ye eight hundred two nine two fifty
one fifty is a number any question that you have.
I'm here and the award winning, award winning advice giving Yeah,
that is I. Mano is here, Mano? When is your
new music dropping? Because you know how soon asap? Like
this month, next month.
Speaker 2 (27:34):
Next month? All right, you know I have to press you.
Speaker 3 (27:37):
All right, But anyway, ask ye eight hundred two nine
two fifty one fifty any question that you have.
Speaker 2 (27:42):
We are here to help you out. It's way up, yeah, glow, whether.
Speaker 4 (27:45):
It's relationship or career advice. Angela's dropping facts you should
you should know.
Speaker 2 (27:49):
If this is ask kee what's up? His way up
with Angela?
Speaker 3 (27:52):
Yee, I'm here, my guy Mena was here, no award
winning winning advice giving mano. Okay, and today we have
an anonymous caller for asking you what's up?
Speaker 8 (28:02):
Hey?
Speaker 6 (28:02):
What's going on?
Speaker 3 (28:03):
Good afternoon, Good afternoon? What is your question today?
Speaker 6 (28:06):
I recently just got out of a let's say, five
year relationship.
Speaker 2 (28:10):
Okay.
Speaker 6 (28:11):
I had a little side thing going on, and that
side thing decided to blow things up.
Speaker 2 (28:16):
Okay, so you cheated and your side piece told on you.
Speaker 6 (28:18):
Yeah, pretty much. So it's been like a month and
a half we've been broken up. So the side piece
wants to take me out on vacation eighty four. I
don't have to pay anything, I see.
Speaker 1 (28:32):
You, Okay, I'm a man. I don't.
Speaker 11 (28:34):
I don't.
Speaker 6 (28:34):
I don't even you know, I don't even go like that.
But I'll pay for something. But she already got the ticket.
I'm just trying to she like, is that a good idea?
I mean, I kind of want to work things out
with my ex, but well it's been kind of hard.
Speaker 3 (28:46):
If you're trying to work things out with your ex,
the worst thing to do is go on vacation with
the woman you cheated on her with, not necessarily.
Speaker 6 (28:53):
And then look like at the time, I'm thinking, like,
I'm gonna be too paranoid because she's gonna have this
over my head.
Speaker 3 (28:59):
Trust me, I want man that was supposed to be
the side piece, and I play her position as a
side piece and told them you already trust and believe
she's gonna tell on you again.
Speaker 9 (29:07):
My boy, Listen, I know, I mean you can take
you listen to me, Listen to me, I got you
no disrespect.
Speaker 2 (29:16):
Go ahead, that's about you in the situation and listening.
Speaker 1 (29:18):
To men my dog listen, check this out. What you
need to do? Sit them both down, take the boat
on vacation. Listen. We want our cake and eat it too.
That's the that's the thing about.
Speaker 3 (29:30):
I wish that I would go ahead and go again.
But the woman that she.
Speaker 1 (29:36):
It's all on the way you present your story. It
ain't what you do, it's how you do it.
Speaker 9 (29:40):
You sit your wife down, the one that you really
care about, and you tell her how sorry you are,
but you tell her who you really are, let her
know that you flood man, let her know that you
got things about you that you can't let go.
Speaker 6 (29:52):
No, you want me tell her I'm a dog, because
I really am.
Speaker 1 (29:55):
There, you go be honest about who you are.
Speaker 2 (29:59):
Let her know, all right, dogs of a feather?
Speaker 1 (30:01):
Yeah no, And then you take them both on vacation
and y'all have the greatest time.
Speaker 2 (30:06):
I guess you're not getting fluid out.
Speaker 1 (30:08):
Yeah, keep that in mind.
Speaker 11 (30:09):
Bro.
Speaker 1 (30:09):
I'll tell you I got the best advice. I'm telling
you I'm the greatest.
Speaker 2 (30:11):
So you're just gonna be single.
Speaker 1 (30:13):
Yeah, it's love bro right love you.
Speaker 3 (30:17):
Have on the right brand today it's rude all right,
Well that was asking y eight hundred two nine two
fifty one fifty.
Speaker 1 (30:24):
You can also hit man a web directly. I got
it in his impact, got it, I got it. I'm
trying to tell you.
Speaker 3 (30:30):
And when we come back, all right, you know what,
you can come to me for advice when it comes
to how to be wealthy, and we have we have
sedject Nast joining us. It's not me that's gonna tell you, though.
I'm gonna put you on to people who I feel
like are amazing and have done the work. I actually
was on his boats while we were in Miami doing
an interview. He has a Wealth on the Water series,
(30:51):
but he also has a book out called Why Should
White Men Have All the Wealth? And he also has
his own summit that he does and that's how I
first met him with his black wealth sum So he'll
be talking to you today about artificial intelligence and how
you should not get left behind on a wealth Wednesday,
It's way up.
Speaker 9 (31:07):
I had a dream of wealthy and I don't mind sharing.
Speaker 4 (31:10):
My wealth dog getting you straight financially, mentally and physically
This is Wealth Wednesday on Way Up with Angela Ye.
Speaker 2 (31:17):
What's up? His way up with Angela Yee. I'm Angela Yee.
Speaker 3 (31:19):
And of course my Wealth Wednesday partner, Stacy Tisdale is here.
Speaker 12 (31:22):
Happy Wealth Wednesday's everybody, and we are going to be
joined today by someone who is going to teach us
all how to be millionaires.
Speaker 3 (31:31):
He's like, haha, but in this room we do on
people's part too. It ain't gonna just happen, right. Cldric
Nash is here.
Speaker 2 (31:39):
Very excited.
Speaker 12 (31:40):
Cedric has the incredible books The Millionaire Money Moves and
why should white guys have all the wealth, which you
can get on Amazon dot com. Yeah, the Black Wealth
Summit too, eat Blackwealth Summit. But you've really been giving
me an education, and I know Angela an education on AI,
so we definitely want to talk to you about that today.
Speaker 10 (32:00):
I'm excited to be here.
Speaker 13 (32:01):
You know, even though I'm passionate about personal finance, my
real background is a technologist. I have a degree in
computer science, so I've been writing code since you know,
the early days, you know with the guards AI.
Speaker 10 (32:12):
Man, it's not coming, it's here.
Speaker 2 (32:15):
There's nothing you could do about it.
Speaker 1 (32:16):
Yeah, No, it's here.
Speaker 2 (32:17):
It's not as much as you want.
Speaker 1 (32:18):
It's here. No escaping.
Speaker 10 (32:20):
And the founder of video said something really interesting.
Speaker 13 (32:22):
He says, you know, AI is not going to replace
your job, but the person that learns AI will.
Speaker 3 (32:28):
Right now, we're talking to Cedric Nashy is a wealth
advisor but also an author. Why should white guys have
all the wealth? My producer Dan sent me this audio.
Speaker 1 (32:37):
Of you.
Speaker 2 (32:39):
That I thought was you. Let's play that right now.
Speaker 13 (32:42):
What's up, wealth Warrior and welcome. I'm so excited to
have you here for our course Defining and Understanding Wealth.
You know, the goal of this course is simple to
teach wealth warriors like you how to build and measure
wealth on your own.
Speaker 1 (32:55):
So that is you right, no time?
Speaker 10 (32:58):
Okay, no, one hundred percent. Artificial intelligence.
Speaker 1 (33:01):
My goodness, it's amazing.
Speaker 2 (33:02):
I tell you.
Speaker 3 (33:03):
I heard that and I was like, hello, radio, I mean,
I gotta, you know, do something.
Speaker 10 (33:08):
It's crazy.
Speaker 1 (33:09):
It's a truth to me.
Speaker 13 (33:10):
There's three tools that we use. One is called Hagen
is the voice mimicker. So what happens is to create
my Hagen voice, I just had to speak just like
I'm speaking to you. And so for about four two
minute sessions. I just talk the way that I talk,
and then there's a video Porsche of it that's done
by eleven laps. So I could sit there and stand
up and change outfits. I could move my hands and
(33:31):
talk the way I talk, and it will create an
avatar of the way that I speak.
Speaker 10 (33:36):
And then you add that with chat.
Speaker 1 (33:37):
GPT, oh my goodness, which will then.
Speaker 10 (33:40):
Create a script based on whatever you want to talk about.
Speaker 13 (33:43):
And then all of a sudden you pile all that
together and the next thing you know, you're in front
of a camera.
Speaker 3 (33:47):
I was thinking when I realized that one of my
friends had reached out to me, he thought that like
Fat Joe had hit him up and was trying to
like do.
Speaker 2 (33:55):
A record deal with him.
Speaker 10 (33:56):
That's the bad part.
Speaker 3 (33:57):
And it was a video where it looked like he
was really like send him a video talking and I
hit him back.
Speaker 2 (34:03):
You know, I didn't know all that, but I think
that's not him.
Speaker 13 (34:06):
There's the good, the bad, and the ugly with artificial intelligence.
The counterpoint is like cybersecurity is growing, like you, well, no,
it's huge.
Speaker 1 (34:15):
It's huge.
Speaker 13 (34:15):
And what's interesting is that cybersecurity is going to have
to use artificial intelligence to thwart the intelligence, and you
have all these people outside the country that are going
to be taking these these concepts and taking people's image
and using it to kind of get money from people.
Speaker 2 (34:30):
Yeah, those scams. That's going to be absolutely So.
Speaker 12 (34:34):
How does AI change the way people should be thinking
about their careers?
Speaker 13 (34:37):
Well, I think significantly. I think that you have to
look at your job and say, you know, can ay
I do my job? I mean we talk about financial analysts, right,
that's the scary one. Imagine if you told a I
I want you to go out and I want you
to look at the healthcare industry, retail industry, tech industry,
and I want you to look at pharmaceuticals. I want
you to find me a portfolio that has a history
(34:58):
over the past ten years of generating ten percent return,
and I want you to give me the stocks that
represent that.
Speaker 10 (35:03):
Can you imagine?
Speaker 13 (35:04):
Because it's all data that's out there, you can do
it a whole lot better than a financial advisor can.
So there's a lot of jobs that are going to
be impacted.
Speaker 2 (35:12):
All right. Cedric Nash is here.
Speaker 3 (35:14):
He is the author of Millionaire Money Moves and also
why should white guys have all the wealth?
Speaker 2 (35:18):
And we're talking about AI.
Speaker 3 (35:20):
Now it's a scary thing for some people, but how
can you stay ahead of the curve.
Speaker 2 (35:23):
We'll talk about that when we come back.
Speaker 7 (35:25):
I had a dream of wealthy and I don't mind
sharing my wealth.
Speaker 4 (35:29):
Dogs getting you straight financially, mentally and physically. This is
Wealth Wednesday on Way Up with Angela Yee.
Speaker 2 (35:35):
What's up?
Speaker 3 (35:35):
His Way Up with Angela Yee? I'm Angela Yee. And
Cedric Nash is here. He is a wealth advisor, but
he is also an author. Why should white guys have
all the wealth? And the millionaire money moves? And of
course my Wealth Wednesday partner, Stacey tis Deal is here. Stacy,
you have a question.
Speaker 12 (35:49):
So what does a person do who's sitting there saying, Okay,
I don't want my job replaced by AI? How do
I get the training? I love this job?
Speaker 2 (35:58):
Okay?
Speaker 1 (35:59):
How do I up skill?
Speaker 13 (36:00):
What happens AI is really nothing without people without data.
So the reality is there are different people that have
different parts of their jobs. They may work in reporting,
they may make they may work in analytics, they may
work in healthcare. Their knowledge is very helpful to massaging
and cleaning up the data to make sure the data
is useful. So there are AI teams that are being
formed in their corporations right now, and the name of
(36:21):
the game is to find out where those teams are
and try to find a way to get on those teams.
My background was I was in it consulting, but so
often you didn't see people of color on those teams.
And the people on those teams, once they were finished,
their salary got jumped up by over twenty to fifty percent,
and if it didn't a competitor was willing to hire
them over to help them implement it within their organization.
(36:42):
So there's huge opportunities to be a part of the
change by joining these AI teams, be proactive in your
company saying how I want to be on the AI
team that helps implement artificial intelligence.
Speaker 3 (36:52):
Right now, we're talking to Cedric Nasty, is a wealth
advisor but also an author. Why should white guys have
all the wealth? You alsn't have this book in front
of you that you were talking about yet GBT made
it easy. So talk to us about this because it
feels like this could be It's a beginner's guy.
Speaker 10 (37:07):
It is a beginner's guy, and she gives us out
for free.
Speaker 13 (37:09):
This is my friend Alicia Little who is She calls
herself the Queen of AI. But she goes around and
she has a certification class and she's teaching people how
to use these tools. In fact, I hired her firm
to help put my book together. AI is creating the script.
She's even writing books using our official intelligence. Chis is crazy.
It's really scary times. But the reality is we can't
(37:30):
stop the train from moving. All we can do is
find a way to get onto the train and kind
of benefit from it. And also make sure you're investing
in these incredible.
Speaker 1 (37:39):
That's why I want to go.
Speaker 12 (37:40):
One thing I've heard both of you say, and we've
all said, is invest in things you use. You hear
us having a whole conversation about AI. I'm like the
happiest investor on the planet right now.
Speaker 2 (37:52):
This a long time ago.
Speaker 12 (37:54):
Talk to us about Dad, with your acorns, with your
Robin Hoods, with all of your micro Yes, Scot.
Speaker 13 (38:00):
I think there's loads of there's loads of like Nvidia,
For people don't really understand what Nvidia is. They're actually
a chip manufacturer, and what happens is they create this
thing called the GPU, which.
Speaker 10 (38:10):
Makes AI happen.
Speaker 13 (38:12):
So there's lots of companies that you can, I say,
don't get mad at them, just get rich with them.
So obviously in video it's going to continue to grow,
I believe also you know advance.
Speaker 10 (38:21):
AMD, right, but also.
Speaker 13 (38:23):
The standard companies, the things like the Metas, the Amazons,
the Googles, the Microsoft Apples, all those companies are going
to integrate artificial intelligence in their company. And you say, well,
what does that mean, Well, what that means is they're
probably gonna have less programmers and they got lower costs,
which means they're going to make more profit as a company.
Speaker 10 (38:41):
So as an investor, you benefit when the company is
more profitable.
Speaker 13 (38:44):
And when I look at those companies, when I look
at companies like Microsoft, Apple, these are companies you can't
live with that.
Speaker 12 (38:49):
We do not stock pick for people, but honestly Google do.
