a moment too, you know, reflect?
Speaker 3 (00:32):
We can do both something positive. Would you do a
shot today because you've.

Been I'm gonna wait loss Johnny, all right.
Speaker 3 (00:41):
Juice in it.

is going to be joining us. She has her EP
coming out on Friday, Endless Nights.
Speaker 3 (00:54):
Shout out to her. She's on Rock Nation.
Speaker 4 (00:56):
She did our lip service live in Dallas, and she
is quite a censored. But let's start with some love
and positivity. Let's shine a light eight hundred two, nine
fifty fifty called us up and let us know who
you went to shine a light on his way up.

Speaker 4 (01:22):
All right, his way up, I'm here, maynos here, no
mana And you know who we want to shine a.
Speaker 3 (01:27):
Light on today.
Speaker 4 (01:28):
Ooh, it's gonna be Kyrie Irving's agent, who also happens
to be his stepmother, Shtelia Riley Irving. She's the only
black female agent representing a current NBA player, and initially
when he hired her as his agent and CEO of
A eleven U sports, people were like, what's going on?
Speaker 3 (01:46):
It was a challenging time of his career.
Speaker 4 (01:48):
But now it appears that that move has paid off brilliantly,
and he said, it's crazy to see the racial barrier
be lifted in a different way in my generation. Now
we should be calling to do more and create more history.
When I bought my step mom in, it just wasn't
to create the first black female Asian. It was to
create another perspective that could be looked at and studied
years from now. So it looks like it's working out
(02:11):
quite well for him. It is, Yeah, so shout out
to her for that. That's not an easy space to
be and I always talk about how sports.
Speaker 3 (02:18):
For women, for black women is a tough, tough space.
Speaker 4 (02:22):
You think hip hop is bad man, dealing with sports
fans and commenters and all of that. It's it's really tough.
So shout out to Chtellia Riley Irving. Now, who do
you guys want to spread some love to?
Speaker 3 (02:33):
Who do you want to.
Speaker 4 (02:34):
Shine a light on? Eight hundred and two nine two
fifty one fifty jazz men. Who do you want to shine.
Speaker 3 (02:38):
A light on?
Speaker 7 (02:39):
My seventeen year old boy?
Speaker 3 (02:41):
Okay, talk to us.
Speaker 7 (02:43):
He has ADHD and it's hard for him to get accepted.
And here it is. He stepped out his boundaries and
started working, and even though it might be difficult for him,
I'm proud of him.
Speaker 3 (02:55):
Oh what's he been doing? What type of work?
Speaker 7 (02:59):
He's working with lumber and steaming wood and he finishes
like he paints his things. So he's learning. And I'm
just happy that he's just not gonna be this little
boy and he's learning how to be a man because
of his time.
Speaker 4 (03:13):
Okay, all right, well I love it. Well, shout out
to him, and shout out to you. I know that's
not easy for you either, So I'm glad to see
that he's doing productive things and it feels good.
Speaker 3 (03:24):
Yes, thank you, thank you, Jasmine mine. All right, Well,
that was shining light.
Speaker 4 (03:29):
Eight hundred two ninety two fifty one fifty if you
couldn't get through and still want to spread some love.
And when we come back, we have your yee tea.
And Justin Timberlake got arrested. There's a headline. We never
thought we'd see. What talk about it. It's way up, yore,
She's about to blow the lid ab off this spot.
Speaker 2 (03:43):
Let's get it.
Speaker 6 (03:44):
Oh yeah, angelus feeling that, yeete, come and get to see.
Speaker 3 (03:48):
All right, it's way up. I'm here, Mano's here.
Speaker 2 (03:50):
You find up.
Speaker 4 (03:51):
Man I told you Justin Timberlake got arrested and you
were like, for what for d WI. So we have
some details from TMZ. You know, they been up to
a minute by minutes. But they said he was at
the American Hotel partying and almost immediately after he left
and started driving and he blew past the stop sign.
Speaker 3 (04:09):
Apparently this was in sag Harbor.
Speaker 4 (04:11):
This is in Long Island, and so they said he
got taken into custody almost immediately after leaving. They said
he performed a filled sobriety test and a breathalyzer test,
but he refused to do the breathalyzer and some of
his friends came on the scene. They tried to convince
cops to let him go, but they refused. He got handcuffed, arrested.
It's all on BODYCM too.
Speaker 2 (04:31):
By the way, what kind of call was he driving?
Speaker 3 (04:34):
Is that what matters?
Speaker 2 (04:35):
It does?
Speaker 3 (04:36):
I don't know what type of car was it?
Speaker 2 (04:37):
Justin timber.
Speaker 3 (04:38):
We want to let me see, do we know? They
said yes.
Speaker 4 (04:41):
So it was running a stop sign, failure to keep
in his lane, and they said he was glassy eyed.
They smelled alcohol in his breath.
Speaker 3 (04:48):
He failed.
Speaker 4 (04:49):
He failed the failed sobriety test. They asked him to
do the one legged stand and a walk in turn.
I don't think I could do that now.
Speaker 5 (04:55):
Oh man, I know I got pulled over up one
time and I have some drinks and they asked me
to count back with.
Speaker 2 (05:02):
I did it though.
Speaker 4 (05:03):
Now, just a few minutes ago they reported that he
was arraigned and released without bail. So he has that
one charge, one count of d w I And yeah,
so I told you you know. TMZ is updating this
by the second. This is a big story for them.
They're on it all right. And Smile too, that trailer
is out. Okay, I'm excited for this because Smile was
(05:25):
a great movie. They did a great marketing campaign for that.
Speaker 2 (05:27):
Seeing you over here, just jumping right now off the trailer.
Speaker 4 (05:30):
Off the trailer. You know, it's interesting. So the way
that Smile two is, and I love the plot of
what they're doing with this. It's a pop star and
she's the one that's going crazy with this evil curse
where people are looking at you and it looks like
they're smiling really hard, and you know, so anyway, I
just was setting up the gym in my basement and
there's a scene if you watch the trailer for Smile two,
(05:53):
I was like, oh no, that could be me if
I'm not careful and speaking of pop stars, and Smell
two is coming out October eighteenth, so you do have
some time to get it together.
Speaker 3 (06:03):
Scooter Braun is retiring from management.
Speaker 1 (06:05):
You know.
Speaker 4 (06:05):
He used to work with Justin Bieber Ariana Grande twenty
three years in the game, and he has announced that
he is retiring from music management. That doesn't mean he's
retiring for good, all right, He's just retiring from music management.
He said, I'm blessed to have a forest gump like
life while witnessing and taking part in the journeys of
some of the most extraordinarily talented people the world has
(06:26):
ever seen. Remember he and Taylor Swift got into it
over her publishing. Yeah, so that was a big deal.
His reputation actually went down from that when he acquired
the rights to Taylor Swift's first six albums. He bought
Big Machine Record Group, and Taylor Swift and her fans
were slamming him for that. So I'm sure that part
wasn't easy. All right, all right, all right, And Jordan Peel,
(06:49):
his fourth directorial movie lands October twenty twenty six in theaters.
So I know we're excited for this. You know, he
did get out, he did us, he did Nope. Those
movies have made six hundred than eighty three million dollars
collectively at the world wide box office. And he said,
I do feel like my next project is clear to me,
and I'm psyched that I have another film that could
(07:10):
be my favorite movie if I make it right. So
we don't know what it is. It's very secretive, but
it's coming out in twenty twenty six, in October, all right,
and that is your yet. When we come back, we
have about last night. That's where we discussed what we
did last night. I kind of gave you a little
clue of what I was doing last night. You said,
nobody uses their home gym, but we're gonna talk about it.
Speaker 3 (07:29):
Oh, you don't use yours?
Speaker 2 (07:30):
No, I had one. I didn't use it.
Speaker 3 (07:32):
You had it, so you got rid of it?
Speaker 6 (07:33):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (07:33):
I have Yeah, I got rid of it. Uh the treadmill, the.
Speaker 3 (07:37):
Little Wait, you got rid of it? What'd you do
with it?
Speaker 2 (07:39):
Gave it away?
Speaker 4 (07:41):
All right, we'll discuss about last night when we come back.
It's way up in the meantime. Here's Nicki min ij
This is my favorite Nikki and I song your Love to.
Speaker 6 (07:48):
Night yes night.
Speaker 3 (07:50):
He said, I went down this night last night. All right,
this way, yep, I'm here, manos here.
Speaker 2 (07:57):
No mate, good morning. What's the vibe?
Speaker 3 (07:59):
What's the vie? And you made me feel bad about
what I did last night?
Speaker 2 (08:02):
But let's start with what you did? How did I
make you feel bad?
Speaker 7 (08:05):
Well?
Speaker 3 (08:05):
What did you do last night? First?
Speaker 2 (08:07):
I had a meeting and all I went home.
Speaker 3 (08:11):
He feels good, doesn't it to spend some time at home?
Speaker 4 (08:14):
I actually was telling you because we were talking about
task Rabbit yesterday and how task has been so helpful.
Speaker 3 (08:21):
Let me tell you I had a tasker come over yesterday.
Speaker 4 (08:25):
So I wanted to put some things together in my
basement and it was just never going to happen. I
had this like shelf that was half put together. I
was like messing it up, putting it on backwards by accident.
So finally I was like, let me stop trying to
do this. Hire a tasker. He came and put everything together.
Speaker 2 (08:39):
Well, he'll just they'll just do anything.
Speaker 4 (08:41):
I mean, you had to be specific, and it depends
on who you hire first.
Speaker 2 (08:45):
Like if you want them to like straighten out your closet.
Speaker 3 (08:49):
You can find a tasker for that.
Speaker 4 (08:51):
I've used task grabbit before because I had to like
get somebody to pick something up. I was in La.
I remember, that's the first time I used it. I
was in La it was years ago, and I had
to go and pick something up from the mall. But
I didn't have time because it was like an event
I was going to and I hired. I bought it,
and I had a task of go and pick it
up and bring it to me.
Speaker 2 (09:08):
I'm about to get my whole garage cleaned out.
Speaker 4 (09:11):
Yeah, so now I've been you know, I have a
tasker who is great at hanging up things in the
house like paintings and mirrors and stuff like that, mounting
a television, all of those things right, and they get
paid hourly, so that's what's great about it, So you
can get a lot of stuff done real quick. But
the one thing I was working on is I've always
wanted to be able to like work out at home,
and I know that a lot of times be saving
(09:32):
will I put on a YouTube of yoga, like I'm
gonna do some yoga in the house. I've never been
consistent at it, so now I want to like be
intentional about being consistent to work out at home.
Speaker 3 (09:42):
Do you work out at home? Because you were saying no, I.
Speaker 5 (09:44):
Trit I mean I went through different periods of time.
I had some equipment in the house. I got rid
of it, and then I did apps at the house.
When when Corona was around and we was on quarantine,
I walked out in the house Corona, Corona, coronavirus.
Speaker 3 (10:02):
I was having a Corona working out here.
Speaker 2 (10:05):
Now what's happening? We was we was locked down. I
was working out a little bit in the house.
Speaker 3 (10:09):
I was going for runs in the park.
Speaker 5 (10:10):
All the time I did. I was running two miles. Damn,
I was running two miles. I was about something.
Speaker 3 (10:16):
I know, that's right.
Speaker 4 (10:17):
I did a running competition with Nike with Nori Yeah
at one point, and I remember I was running like
seven miles a day, wow, which was crazy. Yeah, that's
a good time. I cannot do that right now.
Speaker 2 (10:28):
Working out home.
Speaker 4 (10:30):
Is hard, though, it is hard, and I want to
do it. I have a treadmill that I don't use.
I dusted that off. I have a bike, a Nordic
track bike that I need to use, and it's really nice.
Speaker 2 (10:38):
See.
Speaker 4 (10:39):
So I want to ask you guys. Do y'all work
out at home? What is the secret? How do you
stay consistent? Or are you like me? And maybe you
were just hanging things on the treadmill right exactly, hanging
up some brass dry things like that. Eight hundred two
nine two fifty one fifty Do you work out at home?
How can you stay consistent when working out at home?
We need some tips? Eight hundred two nine two fifty
one fifty.
Speaker 6 (11:00):
Yeah you want to know my name? Way up with Angela?
Speaker 2 (11:03):
Ye, turn me on.
Speaker 3 (11:05):
Yes, it's way up. I'm here, maynos here no mad.
Speaker 2 (11:08):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (11:08):
You made me feel crazy because you said what up.
We were talking about working out at home and about
last night. I told you I'm trying to like set
up my house so i could work at home. I
put a TV in front of my treadmill. You know,
I've had this treadmill for like like ten years. Yeah, literally,
and I've probably used it maybe like twenty twenty five
(11:29):
times is like twice a year.
Speaker 3 (11:31):
But I want to.
Speaker 4 (11:32):
Know what your thoughts are about working at at home.
You said you couldn't do it.
Speaker 2 (11:36):
I was.
Speaker 5 (11:37):
I was not finding the motivation. It's like, all right,
I'm gonna get up at ten o'clock in the morning.
Speaker 2 (11:42):
And go downstairs.
Speaker 3 (11:42):
It's not happening.
Speaker 2 (11:44):
That's not even early eleven turn eleven turn into two. Well,
I want to.
Speaker 4 (11:48):
See what you guys think, if you have any tips
for working out at home.
Speaker 3 (11:51):
Lamar, do you work out at home?
Speaker 8 (11:54):
Yes, I definitely work out at home. Working out at
home change everything for me because I used to go
to the gym and try to be like everybody else
at the gym. But then I realized I needed to
like watch something. So what I did was I brought
the Feen ninety X and it really worked, and I
just needed somebody to show me what to do, and
I could just follow. Nobody did to judge you.
Speaker 2 (12:15):
Whatever you want to do.
Speaker 5 (12:16):
You could do that all at the gym too. Nobody
judging you in the gym.
Speaker 8 (12:19):
I mean no, I you down the side, it'll be
that Brollock dude looking at you like man, I'm more
Brolock than him.
Speaker 4 (12:24):
I understand what he's saying. Sometimes people feel like I
got to work out to be able to work.
Speaker 2 (12:28):
Out at the gym.
Speaker 8 (12:31):
It's on my Mind's right, it's.
Speaker 9 (12:32):
On my mind.
Speaker 2 (12:33):
It's in the gym sometimes, and do just cardy on
what right? Back out? I don't care who looking? All right?
Speaker 8 (12:38):
But then hold on, are you gonna be wearing those
little tight shorts? Let people be wearing I want maybe
I want to be comfortable.
Speaker 2 (12:45):
Why would you be in there with tight shorts.
Speaker 8 (12:47):
Because they're no't athletic wear.
Speaker 3 (12:51):
It's working for him, it's working for him.
Speaker 8 (12:53):
I dropped ninety throing this.
Speaker 3 (12:55):
You drop ninety pounds.
Speaker 10 (12:57):
As a fact, I got as eating as well.
Speaker 8 (13:00):
Eating is a big part of this.
Speaker 3 (13:01):
Okay, okay, all right, Well, thank you for Colin.
Speaker 8 (13:04):
Congratsation, you appreciate y'all.
Speaker 3 (13:06):
All right, thank you. He's sound You've got a lot
of energy too.
Speaker 2 (13:08):
You got them tight on now.
Speaker 3 (13:10):
Hey Shirley, Hi.
Speaker 11 (13:13):
Angela, congratulations on your show and everything. I'm so proud
of you. Thank you all the accomplishment. Yeah, I've listened
to you so many years.
Speaker 3 (13:22):
Thank you. I love that.
Speaker 1 (13:23):
Well.
Speaker 3 (13:24):
I'm here with Mana. We're talking about working out at home?
Speaker 6 (13:26):
Do you do that?
Speaker 11 (13:27):
I tried to do it during COVID, but I just
couldn't really stay consistent. I'm a gym rat. I go
faithfully every day. I leave my house at four forty,
work out two and a half hours before my mind's
the far. I get a ten thousand steps, so I
gotta be ealthy. I got to be in those three.
Speaker 4 (13:45):
So it didn't work out for you. Really, to work
out at home, you gotta be okay.
Speaker 11 (13:48):
Other people motivate me also, you know, like you see
other people and it just motivates you to keep pushing.
Speaker 4 (13:54):
Well, Shirley, thank you seeing you so you agree with
me now because Mano can't do it.
Speaker 3 (13:57):
Hey, Chris, what's up?
Speaker 10 (14:00):
Good morning, miss year, Good morning?
Speaker 2 (14:01):
May know what's siding?
Speaker 10 (14:03):
Happy been lady Father's Day to you you.
Speaker 2 (14:05):
Too, brother, That's cute.
Speaker 4 (14:07):
Thank you so I want to know about working out
at home. You got some tips.
Speaker 10 (14:11):
Absolutely. My erum is five push ups for the ladies
every day for the rest of your life, then twenty
push ups every day for the gentlemen every day for
the rest of your life. If you stay consistent like
that without having to go out there and get those
bands and running around jump boots and stuff, just stay
stick to the five and the min stick to the twenty,
and everything will turn out.
Speaker 8 (14:31):
That's good.
Speaker 2 (14:31):
That's it. That's it. That's it.
Speaker 10 (14:34):
I'm trying because the consistency, if you take five dollars
a day, you'll have oney seven hundred and twenty five
at the end of the year. That's better than doing zero,
ain't it.
Speaker 2 (14:45):
I understand that.
Speaker 5 (14:46):
But I'm just saying, like, you're not working out a
lot of different body parts. You're just doing twenty pushups,
Like what is I.
Speaker 3 (14:52):
Can do that?
Speaker 10 (14:53):
But that's the thing. The push up works your whole
body out, your arms, your abs, your back, your legs,
your neck.
Speaker 4 (15:05):
Maybe that routine would make it be like I could
do five, now I could do ten, And.
Speaker 10 (15:09):
That's what it is. I'm a former pool athlete. I
play for the Rochester Rador shout out to them. And
I'm also an exercise physiologist. Shout out to eligersas City
State University.
Speaker 3 (15:19):
All right, well, thank you for calling. We appreciate it.
Let's see how this goes.
Speaker 10 (15:22):
Thank y'all, God, bless y'all you too.
Speaker 4 (15:25):
Twenty push ups a day, that's it, all right, Well,
thank you guys for calling. Eight hundred two nine two
fifty one fifty. In case you couldn't get through, you can.
Speaker 3 (15:32):
Still call and leave a message. And when we come back,
we have your e T.
Speaker 2 (15:35):
And you know what.
Speaker 4 (15:36):
Since we're talking about working out, Usher has revealed what
his daily diet is and how he manages to stay
in top condition. All right, he told The Wall Street
Journal and a new interview what he does.
Speaker 3 (15:46):
It's way up, they say in the rooms.
Speaker 6 (15:50):
From industry shade to all of gossips out angels feeling
that et.
Speaker 4 (15:56):
All right, it is way up. I'm here, manos here,
no man y. The day before Juneteenth. Let's get into
some YETI we've been talking about working out at home. Well,
Usher told The Wall Street Journal about his daily diet.
He said, typically I wake up and drink celery juice.
Speaker 3 (16:12):
I've been doing this concoction of lemon, ginger water and
cayenne pepper. I drink it hot.
Speaker 4 (16:16):
And then he said he wakes up early enough to
have a moment of reflection. Some days I might grab
a book and read to stimulate my mind. I may
sit quietly and meditate. One thing that is a frequent
practice is yoga. It really does help to activate my
organs and get my mind moving in the right direction.
And then he also likes to eat eggs scrambled with cheese,
but mostly poached or over easy.
Speaker 3 (16:36):
And then he doesn't like to eat.
Speaker 4 (16:37):
Breakfast before he's worked out or done something physical like
taking a walk, stretching or doing yoga, sitting in the
sun and raising his body's natural heat levels. And then
he fasts on Wednesdays. How about that on Wednesdays he
goes the entire day just drinking water. I know he really,
but he does have to write think about it, like
he's been doing these residencies, he's been touring, and this
(17:00):
is something that works for him.
Speaker 3 (17:01):
I'm all for fasting once a week.
Speaker 2 (17:03):
I'm not mad at that.
Speaker 4 (17:04):
Yeah, giving your organs a break from reset, a nice
little reset, all right now. Pastor Lamar Whitehead, Bishop Lamar
Whitehead has been sentenced to nine years in prison, and
that is for fraud charges and extortion charges. From a
separate case, a parishioner gave him ninety thousand dollars from
her retirement savings when he said he would help her
(17:25):
purchase a home, and according to US attorney Damien Williams,
he said, Lamar Whitehead is a comm man who's stole
millions of dollars in a string of financial frauds and
even stole from one of his own parishioners. He lied
to federal agents again to the court at his trial,
and so today's sentence puts an end to Whitehead's various schemes.
(17:46):
He says he's still innocent, though, and his team is
still exploring all available legal avenues to ensure that justice
is served.
Speaker 3 (17:54):
So we shall see.
Speaker 5 (17:55):
He said that they did this to him because they
were trying to really get him the tell on the mayor.
Speaker 2 (18:00):
This is what he was saying.
Speaker 4 (18:01):
Yeah, And then I think he was saying there was
somebody else that set him up, right, and so he
was talking about that as well. So he is planning
to start the appall process immediately, all right, now, don
oh maar? He is a reggaetone legend. This is Donald
Mar right here. Just in case anybody listening has no
idea which you should know who Donah Mar is.
Speaker 3 (18:25):
Thet me tell you something.
Speaker 4 (18:26):
That's just the biggest song that he has. But Donahar
has a huge discography and yes, and you know he
is known as the king of reggaetone. Well, unfortunately he
has revealed that he does have cancer. He posted yes
today but tomorrow I will be cancer free. Good intentions
are well received to you all soon f cancer. So
(18:49):
prayers up for Donald mar all right and fifty cent
is enlisting Jeremiah Money, Long, Cat Williams and Moore. He's
doing a festival in Louisiana. You know he has the
g Unit Film Studio in Shreveport, Louisiana.
Speaker 2 (19:01):
You've ever been a streetport of course.
Speaker 4 (19:03):
Yeah, so that's going to be exciting. He's going to
be hosting the Humor and Harmony Festival and it's going
to be from August eighth to eleventh, DC Young Flag,
Gary Owens, Bill Bellamy, Cameron friensch Montana too, change and
more people will be announced and he said over twenty
nine thousand people have registered already, so you can imagine
this is going to be really fun. He's calling it
(19:25):
a super Bowl of comedy and music. And he said,
wait till you see who's confirmed. So congratulations to him
for getting this all done, all right. And there were
some reports that there was a rivalry with him and
Tyler Perry, but he said that Taler Perry actually has
been helping him. He said, if you think me and
Tyler will be at odd to any point, he's helping
(19:46):
me already, going out of his way to aid my progress.
Speaker 3 (19:48):
So in the nicest way, cut the.
Speaker 4 (19:50):
Ish, all right, and that is your Yet when we
come back, we have under the radar. These are the
stories that are not necessarily in the headlines. They're flying
under the radar. And one of them has to do
with a whole Netflix village, and we'll tell you about
that where they're going to be opening these Netflix I guess,
like super malls.
Speaker 3 (20:07):
It's way ups this in.
Speaker 6 (20:08):
The news that relates to you. These stories are flying under.
Speaker 4 (20:11):
The radar, all right, it's way up. I'm here, manos here,
no mana under the radar. I know you were interested
in this one. Netflix is planning two experience houses. Now
what is that going to be, Well, that's going to
be basically shopping centers that's going to have hundreds of retailers,
high foot traffic, proximity to major cities, and they'll have
(20:34):
you know, they're going to have more than one hundred
thousand square feet. So it's going to be these live events,
user experiences. You've seen all the stuff they've been doing
with Bridgerton Experiences and things like that. So they're opening
massive entertainment, dining, and shopping complexes. It's going to be
King of Prussia, Pennsylvania and also in Dallas. So all
of these different shopping outlets, eateies, things tied to their
(20:57):
major franchises like Stranger Things, Bridgeton's Game, all of that.
Speaker 3 (21:01):
So these are malls like little malls.
Speaker 4 (21:03):
Yeah, So they're saying they don't see these permanent retail
destinations as becoming a sizable new business segment. The goal
is for them to serve as marketing vehicles that invite
fan engagement to support what they have going on.
Speaker 3 (21:16):
And that's a huge investment.
Speaker 2 (21:18):
Right when is it opening.
Speaker 4 (21:21):
They're saying that they're going to open next year, so
they'll both open in twenty twenty five and you can
imagine these are just two of the many that they're
going to have. So the first two are going to
be in Dallas and King of Pressure, and then after that,
I'm sure it's going to move on.
Speaker 3 (21:35):
Now here's a Brooklyn story for you. The sperminator.
Speaker 2 (21:38):
You know who that is, of course not.
Speaker 4 (21:40):
He's from Brooklyn and his name is Ari Nagel. He's
forty eight years old. He welcomed his one hundred and
sixty fifth child into the world. What yes, So congratulations
to him. He said he's gonna stand hold on hold
when he's fifty.
Speaker 2 (21:54):
He he has how many goods?
Speaker 3 (21:57):
One hundred and sixty five cap.
Speaker 4 (22:00):
He has ten women currently pregnant in the US, Canada, Asia, Africa,
and Europe. Zimbabwe and Long Island are due in July.
Israel and Queens are due in August. So you know
he has He sends sperm samples to aspiring mother She
sends to about one or two aspiring mothers every week
(22:21):
and a lot of times these are you know, non
sexual meetings that he has with people. And he said
he wants to try to be a better father.
Speaker 2 (22:27):
Too, So he's a sperm donator.
Speaker 4 (22:29):
Yeah, basically they call him the sperminator, He said, some
moms don't want me to play a role the option
if they change their mind.
Speaker 2 (22:40):
Is he getting Is he getting paid for this?
Speaker 4 (22:42):
I think he's just donating. He's just donating the sperm. Yeah,
so congratulations to him. He is getting paid. Oh, you
get paid to donate? You've done this?
Speaker 3 (22:51):
Okay? How much do you get paid?
Speaker 2 (22:54):
What's the going rate for donating?
Speaker 3 (22:55):
Maina. We could have a bunch of little manos out
there going right, you probably could get a good price.
Speaker 8 (23:02):
Me.
Speaker 3 (23:02):
Yeah, you donate, all right, but that is you're under
the radar. How much.
Speaker 12 (23:08):
Month?
Speaker 2 (23:09):
I'm you got to give up?
Speaker 3 (23:11):
Yeah, that's a lot. You should do it, you know
at all? What if you all right?
Speaker 4 (23:17):
Well, anyway we do have the way you're mixing the
top of the hour, Pleasant Mada is going to be
joining us today.
Speaker 3 (23:21):
It's way up.
Speaker 7 (23:23):
It's just like the like the angel like they Angelie jee.
Speaker 6 (23:27):
Man, she's spilling it all. This is yea t way up?
Speaker 3 (23:33):
What's up? This way up?
Speaker 4 (23:34):
But angela, yeah, I'm here manos ready ye t all right?
Speaker 3 (23:39):
Well, everybody still hates Chris.
Speaker 4 (23:41):
That's Comedy Central's upcoming animated take on everybody hates Chris
and guess what, Chris Rock is back.
Speaker 3 (23:47):
Terry Crews to she.
Speaker 4 (23:47):
Anda Arnold, all of them, all, all the original stars
are back on the show. So that's gonna be huge.
Speaker 2 (23:52):
Oh they're gonna have like a Will Smith character.
Speaker 3 (23:55):
Why would he be on?
Speaker 2 (23:55):
You're not going to re enact?
Speaker 3 (23:57):
No, they are not. This is young Chris all right? Right, right,
so why would that be happening? All right?
Speaker 4 (24:02):
So yes, but on the show, you know Chris I
plays the voice of adult Chris. It's going to be
narrating stories in bedstye, so that should be exciting. This
was first announced a couple of years ago, but it
looks like it's finally happening. They said it's going to
premiere later this year on Comedy Central and then on
Paramount Plus at a later day.
Speaker 3 (24:20):
All right, now.
Speaker 4 (24:21):
Slim Thug had people very up in arms on social
media yesterday.
Speaker 3 (24:27):
He posted this about a million dollars.
Speaker 1 (24:29):
If you broke. Stop saying if I had a million dollars,
I would be good for the rest of my life.
Speaker 2 (24:35):
No, you won't.
Speaker 1 (24:36):
If you broke you got a million dollars worth you
gotta buy right now? You need a house, car, most
of our bass been enough money at themile, you're gonna
go there to celebrate. You got a million dollars. By
time dollars, you're gonna be broke again.
Speaker 3 (24:50):
Now at some point we're gonna have a whole conversation
about us.
Speaker 2 (24:53):
We'll get what he's saying. I get what he's trying
to say.
Speaker 5 (24:55):
Yeah, because it's not money that you can just live
off for the rest of your life.
Speaker 4 (24:59):
And you know, DJ Paul was in the comments and
he was like, and don't forget you got to pay
taxes on that. He said he knew somebody a rapper
they got a million dollars and didn't pay that four
hundred thousand dollars worth.
Speaker 2 (25:08):
Of taxes million dollars back zero.
Speaker 4 (25:11):
Yeah, And you know what it is, though, a million
dollars could do a lot if you do the right
things with it, if you know how to.
Speaker 5 (25:18):
But a lot of people, many of us coming from
where we come from, doing the right thing. When we
get a million dollars, we want a ball, We want
to we want stuff, we want calls, cribs, we want to.
Speaker 4 (25:27):
Yeah, because even you know, buying a house, there's all
kinds of fees associated with that and like he said,
you do still have to pay taxes. Then you want
to make sure all your bills and everything you have
is taken care of as well. And then you know
family's going to ask you for some money that million
could make, but I would still take it, and I
would still love to have.
Speaker 3 (25:45):
A million dollars.
Speaker 2 (25:47):
You got to do something with it. You definitely get
what you're saying.
Speaker 3 (25:50):
And you cannot live beyond your means.
Speaker 4 (25:51):
You can't buy a house that has crazy payments that
you're not going to be able to afford to do
because you still have to pay property tax.
Speaker 2 (25:57):
You've still got to pay for everything.
Speaker 4 (25:59):
Everything, all right, Well, just something to think about. And
I told you Mayda is going to be joining us
at a rock Nation artist. She has an EP coming
out on Friday, Endless Night. So far we've only heard
one single, but she has actually given us a sneak
peek of another single. This is going to be the
title track off of Endless Night. Here it is, Oh sorry,
(26:19):
all right, Well, shout out to Meida and she's actually
going to be joining us like I said later on,
But in the meantime when we come back, I'm here
with my award winning advice giver.
Speaker 3 (26:27):
Mayno winning, and we have asked Yee.
Speaker 4 (26:30):
On the way eight hundred and nine fifty one fifty
any question. Remember there's no such thing as a dumb question.
Speaker 12 (26:36):
Ever.
Speaker 3 (26:37):
All right, call us up. We want to help you out.
It's way up.
Speaker 6 (26:40):
When it's relationship for career advice, Angela's dropping facts, you
should know.
Speaker 2 (26:44):
This is as Kee.
Speaker 3 (26:46):
What's up?
Speaker 4 (26:46):
His way up at Angela? Yee, I'm here. Mano's here right,
and that just Mano, but the award winning winning advice
giving Meno is in the building.
Speaker 3 (26:55):
And today we have Sasha on the line. What's up?
Speaker 12 (26:57):
Sasha?
Speaker 13 (26:58):
Hi, Angela, thanks so much for taking my call.
Speaker 4 (27:01):
Of course, and may No say, we're going to help
you out. So what is your question for ask you today?
Speaker 13 (27:06):
I have a really close friend and we've been friends
for years. I requently found out that she has been
kind of talking about me. He has been repeating something
that I told her and kind of using it against me.
When I thought we were cool and it was fine
for me to go to her to kind of vent
and get things off my checks, but apparently she's been
(27:28):
repeating it and kind of complaining how I'm like needy
and stuff. Which I thought, when you have good friends,
that's what they're there for, to go to for these things.
I wanted to get your opinion on how you think
I should approach this.
Speaker 2 (27:43):
I'm gonna be honest with you, man, just cut that
off and get a new friend.
Speaker 4 (27:47):
Well, I've had issues like this before too. When she's
around you, does she talk about other people to you?
Speaker 13 (27:53):
I've heard her talk about other people, but no one
where I would think, oh, she's a two faced person,
because they weren't anyone that were in our close friends
group or close to her in that way. With more
so people who I guess are more acquainstances. So I
never really tacked to get it. And I don't think
she ever thought that the person who she was talking
to would ever repeat it to me or come back
(28:15):
and tell me.
Speaker 4 (28:16):
I find that you have to realize some people their
character is like that. If they talk to you crazy
about other people, or they're always talking ish about people
behind their backs, they're doing it to you too. I
just want to say, sometimes it's not a reflection on
just their relationship with you, it's just.
Speaker 2 (28:31):
How they are.
Speaker 1 (28:32):
They.
Speaker 4 (28:33):
Yeah, And I've had to actually go to somebody before
and tell them. Listen, I heard that you said X, Y,
and Z about me, and be really completely honest if
I considered that person a friend. And I actually told her,
and then she was embarrassed, and the first thing her
first reaction was to be mad at the person who
told me, And I don't think that's fair because you
said it, and so I just don't imagine I could
(28:56):
trust somebody like that again. And I made the mistake
of giving her another chance, and she did it again
several times, and then I did end up having to
just cut her off. And then to this day, she
still talks crazy about me behind my back. But I
had to realize that, no, we're not now, I will say,
sometimes people mess up and make mistakes and you have
(29:17):
to call them out on it. So if you feel
like she's that good of a friend of yours, and
this was a rare occurrence that this happened, and this
is a one time thing, but you have to ask yourself,
is this something that she's been going around telling other people?
Speaker 2 (29:30):
You know, she's probably not your friend like that. She's
probably jealous of you.
Speaker 5 (29:33):
So I get you some new friends, get you some
friends because I hear you.
Speaker 11 (29:39):
But she's been a good friend before.
Speaker 4 (29:41):
But I do think if you feel like you value
her that much, you know, go to her and tell
her and hear what she has to say about it,
because maybe she'll be very apologetic and then maybe she'll
be like, you know, what I needed to venture somebody?
Speaker 3 (29:52):
It was a lot like every time.
Speaker 4 (29:54):
I talk to you, you're not giving me a chance
to talk about what I were always talking about, but
you want to talk about like who knows where her
ration is is. Maybe hear her out here what she
has to say, but be cautious.
Speaker 13 (30:05):
Yeah, you're right, I definitely will do.
Speaker 3 (30:07):
Okay, thank you?
Speaker 4 (30:08):
All right, Well, good luck, And it does suck sometimes
when friendships aren't what we thought that they would be.
Speaker 3 (30:14):
But it's better for you to know than not know.
Speaker 2 (30:18):
Thanks so much, You're welcome.
Speaker 3 (30:20):
Thank you, donad for Collin.
Speaker 4 (30:22):
All right, Well that was ask ye eight hundred two
nine two fifty one fifty. You heard our award winning
advice giver say it ain't nothing to cut that off,
all right, And when we come back, Meida is going
to be joining us. And when I tell you, she
is hilarious, very open, very not media training, which I
love about her. And she has a new EP coming
out on Friday. It's called Endless Night. All right, it's
(30:44):
way up.
Speaker 6 (30:45):
This is way up with Angela.
Speaker 3 (30:47):
Let's go. You are a media maven, right.
Speaker 5 (30:49):
You never know what AND's gonna say?
Speaker 3 (30:52):
What's up? It's way up and we meet again. Meida
is here.
Speaker 4 (30:56):
Hey, thank you again so much for doing our lift
service life at the Togetherland Festive.
Speaker 12 (31:02):
Said way too much because you're going in. That's made
it for you.
Speaker 3 (31:08):
She always says way too much, but that's what we
love about you.
Speaker 12 (31:11):
Oh my god. I got to fight with about that
because I said a little too much.
Speaker 4 (31:15):
But it's okay, okay, But you know what, you say
a little too much in your music too. I know
that makes me know that when you put out music,
those songs are about real life situations.
Speaker 3 (31:26):
You know, the ant habits that was a real life situation.
Speaker 4 (31:31):
Yeah, and you've been very vocal, and I think that
it helps us relate more.
Speaker 9 (31:34):
That's how I relate to people in general. That's why
my mouth was so big, because we all go through
the same stuff, just some people don't say it.
Speaker 12 (31:42):
I say it.
Speaker 4 (31:42):
Since this is a serious sit down, let's talk about
your getting signed and what that process is like, because
you're in rock Nation, and so what made you choose
that label? Because you have been doing things on social
media online and a lot of people were seeing your music,
and I'm sure that people were trying to get you
because you had this very I want to say, your
voice is so full and sophisticated.
Speaker 9 (32:05):
I got my first manage when I was thirteen, So
I spent thirteen to eighteen just singing and learning and
doing covers and taking meetings with labels.
Speaker 12 (32:12):
But things never worked.
Speaker 9 (32:13):
Out, and I was always just like I was so determined,
But at the same time, it got to a point
where I was like, maybe God's trying to tell me
this isn't for me. So when I was eighteen, I
started looking at colleges and then Omar at rock Nation
found me on Instagram doing covers, and then a few
weeks later I was signed.
Speaker 12 (32:29):
It happened so fast.
Speaker 3 (32:31):
Right now I am talking to Mayda.
Speaker 4 (32:33):
She signed to rack Nation, and she's got an EP
coming out on Friday.
Speaker 3 (32:36):
It is called Endless Night.
Speaker 4 (32:38):
And I think that's interesting when you talk about between
thirteen and eighteen, you thought that things were gonna happen.
Speaker 3 (32:43):
You had meetings, what do you think it was.
Speaker 12 (32:46):
I think it was just God. I don't think any
of that was meant to happen.
Speaker 9 (32:49):
But even on the way here, my manager showed me
a picture when I first got signed, and I was like,
so chubby, I was like, this weird offer a little
girl if you just sing. I think that my team
just saw the potential. But maybe I think people into
the potential because I didn't look the way I look now,
you know.
Speaker 3 (33:03):
Oh wow, So you think it was like a more
like a visual thing.
Speaker 4 (33:06):
That is so true because sometimes you know, you could
be as talented as you want to be, but people
feel like you have to have a certain type of look.
Speaker 12 (33:12):
Yeah.
Speaker 9 (33:13):
So I had a meeting with a manager when I
first got signed. I had such a good voice, that's
what drew people in, but I just didn't look at
He was like he went to the person that signed
me and was like, she has a beautiful voice, but
she came and looking like she was going to college.
She's awkward, she doesn't dress right like. I didn't have
the look. So I think that might be what it was.
But I'm so grateful for the people that even my
(33:35):
managers now that believed in that person. And knew that
it could be this one day, and it could be
the Chris Brown two, like all the things I'm doing now.
Speaker 12 (33:43):
They saw that.
Speaker 4 (33:43):
I do find that unfortunate though, that you could be
so talented and then people could be like, well, she
doesn't have the look. And that was like an old
school type of way of thinking where they would be like, oh,
well she, they used to say. Guys have to want
to f her and women have to want to be hers,
they used to say, but that also has to make
you feel a way that like, oh it dig.
Speaker 9 (34:02):
The craziest thing is these people that I was meeting
with are now trying to work with me years later
when they see it's actually working. And I didn't even
know that person said that until years later when my
A R showed me the screenshot.
Speaker 12 (34:13):
Like, looking at what he was saying about you years ago.
Speaker 3 (34:15):
We're not doing that tracking.
Speaker 12 (34:16):
Right, Yeah, exactly what.
Speaker 3 (34:18):
Was your journey like to get to look like how
you look today?
Speaker 12 (34:21):
I just started to do it.
Speaker 9 (34:22):
I have never gotten anything done. I just learned how
to do my makeup. I think I just went through puberty.
Speaker 12 (34:28):
I like to slip my hair rack.
Speaker 9 (34:30):
Now, like I've just figured out who I am in
my style and it's still obviously changing, but I do
not look the same at all.
Speaker 12 (34:36):
But I seriously just went through puberty.
Speaker 4 (34:38):
I think Meida is here, you guys, and she is
so open and honest. It's very refreshing to talk to
an artist like this. We have more with her when
we come back.
Speaker 5 (34:46):
We about to do this one of the memos to
famous women in radio opening and we're talking about angela Ye.
Speaker 6 (34:52):
You're way up with angela Ye.
Speaker 4 (34:53):
Please believe that what'sapp his way up at angela Ye.
And right now Meida is in the building. You have
an E on the way out right. This is gonna
be this is this your fourth EP?
Speaker 9 (35:03):
Yeah, this is like a little dance project for the
summer that I'm doing with k. I'm excited about it though, but.
Speaker 3 (35:09):
It's gonna be fun. We've only heard one song so
far from really I feel like it's not in four
days okay.
Speaker 9 (35:15):
But my debut album I'm also working on that to
come out hopefully this year.
Speaker 3 (35:19):
Okay. That's what I was gonna ask you, because the EP's.
Speaker 4 (35:21):
Got as really hype for the for the but this
is gonna be so the summertime. You are you knew,
like I want to do some fun club type things.
Speaker 9 (35:29):
Yeah, because I've been crying about this man for all
these years, and I think I just my body just
started rejecting it.
Speaker 12 (35:34):
It's like, and I finally got to a place where.
Speaker 9 (35:36):
Don't care anymore, you know what I mean seriously, And
it's like the first project I've ever done not about
this specific man.
Speaker 4 (35:42):
Oh my god, You're like, I'm just trying to have
some fun. Yes, he probably was tight after Lip Service Live.
Speaker 9 (35:48):
He was, Yeah, but when I was too, I was
watching it, like, why did you say this?
Speaker 4 (35:55):
So now you're saying you feel like you've completely cut
these bad habits out and moved on.
Speaker 12 (36:00):
No completely, I don't know.
Speaker 3 (36:02):
You know, you had the toxic song. Now I'm saying,
I feel like maybe it's you.
Speaker 9 (36:06):
I think I could be. But there's this one man
that I just love, but it's just a jerk.
Speaker 3 (36:11):
Is that what you love about him?
Speaker 9 (36:13):
No, it's just we've just been through hell together. Don't
shake your head yet.
Speaker 3 (36:17):
Yeah, everybody said yes behind your backs.
Speaker 12 (36:19):
Is that what I love about you?
Speaker 11 (36:20):
Think?
Speaker 9 (36:20):
I mean maybe challenge. I think I do like a challenge.
I think it's a challenge to be honest, but I
love him. We've been through hell together, so I think
that there's some connection that we have.
Speaker 3 (36:29):
Like the Tima binding.
Speaker 12 (36:30):
I think so. But I do love him. I seriously
love him.
Speaker 9 (36:33):
And there's been certain events that have happened lately where
he has another situation and I can honestly say, move
on and go there, and I will be fine because
I love you. I want you to be happy. It
would hurt, but it's that kind of thing.
Speaker 4 (36:48):
So he has another situation. So does that mean that
you're out of the picture.
Speaker 12 (36:52):
No, but because I don't want to be though.
Speaker 4 (36:56):
So you're okay with turning into the side piece to
his other situation.
Speaker 9 (37:00):
Not even a side piece. It's because it's not even
an other situation like that. It's kind of just like
it's complicated.
Speaker 3 (37:05):
Okay. Right now I am talking to Mayda.
Speaker 4 (37:08):
She's signed to Rack Nation and she's got an EP
coming out on Friday. It is called Endless Night, Like,
what would you say are some things that you would
manifest for yourself as far as how you should be treated?
Speaker 9 (37:18):
I just like when people cater to me in my emotions,
Like last night, I was upset about some stuff, but
he had an attitude, and I'm like, I'm having a
hard day and you're not even trying to help me
right now.
Speaker 3 (37:29):
Like were you with him last night?
Speaker 12 (37:32):
Maybe I won't say yes or no, let.
Speaker 4 (37:35):
Me ask you something. If he was like, let's just
cut all this right now and get married.
Speaker 12 (37:40):
You know, it's so funny. I literally told him that
the other day. But I know I think it's you.
Speaker 9 (37:49):
I know deep down I wouldn't want to though, and
first of all, didn't he never asked me anyway, so
but if he did, I feel like there'd be like
a question. But sometimes I'm like, you know, look at
the facts, like just marry this man.
Speaker 3 (38:02):
No, don't look at you guys. We're gonna find data.
He's gonna hate me.
Speaker 4 (38:12):
We're gonna get you somebody so lit that's gonna cater
to you. You know, when you have a bad day,
you could call them up and they're gonna be like
or they're gonna show up.
Speaker 12 (38:20):
But this man does show up for me though, he's
just a jerk.
Speaker 4 (38:23):
Well, you know what, that's the type that we all
have when we're younger before.
Speaker 3 (38:26):
You know, when you know better, you do better.
Speaker 12 (38:29):
And what's your type? Let's talk about you for a second.
Speaker 4 (38:33):
First of all, I definitely went through that phase where
I did like ask. I think every woman goes through
that phase until you're like, I don't want to deal
with that anymore. I want somebody that teaches me really good,
you know, that puts me first, but also doesn't let
me walk all over them.
Speaker 3 (38:47):
I want somebody I could trust.
Speaker 12 (38:48):
Would you ever be in an open relationship or now?
Have you tried that?
Speaker 7 (38:52):
No?
Speaker 3 (38:52):
I have not.
Speaker 4 (38:53):
I've been annoyingly in an open relationship. So then to
know that you're seeing other people guys can't that. Yeah,
you would be in an open relationship though clearly.
Speaker 12 (39:06):
First of all, rude, I guess I honestly, I don't know.
Speaker 9 (39:14):
Sometimes I wonder if humans argument to just be one
on ones for the I don't know a man.
Speaker 3 (39:20):
And thank you so much for coming through.
Speaker 4 (39:21):
I always appreciate you, and every single time you're in
New York, definitely feel free to come up.
Speaker 12 (39:27):
Of course, thank you for having me.
Speaker 4 (39:28):
I can't wait till we come through on the other
side and you're like, guess what, girl, I have a
new album.
Speaker 3 (39:32):
It's called over It.
Speaker 12 (39:35):

What do you do for Juneteenth?
Speaker 4 (40:11):
Because it's like a pretty news national holiday for us?
Speaker 7 (40:15):
How long?
Speaker 2 (40:16):
How long has it been? What's been two years?
Speaker 3 (40:18):
And twenty twenty one is when it became a federal holiday.
Speaker 2 (40:22):
So this is the third one.
Speaker 3 (40:23):
Yeah, so that means the banks, everything is closed.
Speaker 4 (40:26):
But yeah, I mean, we're commemorating the end of slavery
in the United States after the Civil War.
Speaker 3 (40:32):
What are we going to do? Have a cookie?
Speaker 2 (40:34):
Slaves ex slaves?
Speaker 3 (40:37):
Listen.
Speaker 4 (40:37):
It's a very complicated situation. But I'm glad it's a
national holiday. I am again. Earlier we were talking about
working out at home and a lot of people called
in to discuss that I cannot wait to see what
my journey is going to be. Like I want to
come in here and be like, look, man, no, I'm
really working out.
Speaker 2 (40:54):
That would be good. No, get on treadmill every day.
Speaker 3 (40:57):
I didn't say every day, probably maybe like four times a.
Speaker 2 (40:59):
Week, Like get up before you come here.
Speaker 3 (41:02):
No, I could do it before I go to the morning.
Speaker 2 (41:04):
Oh yeah, you could do that.
Speaker 4 (41:05):
Yeah, I think I like that better. All right, well
listen you guys, as you know, this is your show.
Enjoy your holiday tomorrow if you're off from work or
if you're going to be celebrating.
Speaker 3 (41:13):
But again, you have the last word.
Speaker 11 (41:15):
My question is I want to know why Mano is
so sexy and so handsome and so bagful. Be too
handsome to be sangle?
Speaker 6 (41:23):
Oh my goodness, going way out turnout with Angela Yee
