I can't tell. All right, little baby was arrested in
Vegas for a legal weapon possession. Now, this happened on Monday,
and according to his attorney, Dominique Jones has a valid
Georgia carrying a Concealed Weapon permit. So they said they
are investigating the facts and circumstances surrounding his arrest. Okay,

(04:54):
all right, So so far in Vegas, they have not
released details about the alleged crime, but once they have more,
they will update that he's innocent.

Speaker 2 (05:06):
I don't know what the rules are as far as
whether or not.

Speaker 6 (05:10):
How you.

Speaker 2 (05:12):
I don't think you're supposed to really travel well, you
know what, sometimes you can check a gun when you travel. Right,
you have to let the different licenses, right, you got
to complicated because it's state by states.

Speaker 3 (05:22):
Some license you can go from different states.

Speaker 5 (05:25):
All right.

Speaker 2 (05:25):
Now, Andy Martinez is making her directorial debut. She's doing
a documentary on DJ Clark Kent. It's called God's Favorite DJ,
The Story of DJ Clark Kent. It's going to be
produced in partnership with Greenleaf Productions and Mark Sparks Productions,
and people like jay Z, Quest Love, DJ Khaled, and
Moore will be also featured in that documentary.

Speaker 5 (05:46):
That's huge.

Speaker 2 (05:47):
That's a big deal, by the way, she told the
Hollywood report of DJ Clark Kent is a rare gem
whose influence is seen in nearly every era of hip
hop's history books. With our fifty year old culture susceptible
to outside perspective and agenda, it's important that we spotlight
the heroes to push the art form with purity and authenticity.

Speaker 3 (06:05):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (06:05):
I love DJ clark Camp.

Speaker 2 (06:07):
All right, now get into this, Okay, Love is Blind, Jasmine.
I tried to get you to audition for Love is
Blind when and she would not.

Speaker 5 (06:17):

Want to apply, Love is Blind is coming to multiple cities.

Speaker 5 (06:26):

is the fourth loneliest city in the country. By the way, Angela, Angela,
I have a suggestion the New England area. Hold on
for Atlanta, hold Columbus, Ohio.

Speaker 5 (06:43):
Also Miami.

Speaker 3 (06:45):
Okay, that's a lonely city.

Speaker 5 (06:46):
Well no, they just go to different cities.

Speaker 2 (06:48):
But you know, yeah, I'm signing up for New York.
First of all, it's not gonna work because they're gonna
know who you are.

Speaker 3 (06:57):
They won't know my voice.

Speaker 2 (06:59):
I'm signing up, man, No, stop it. You tried to
call in here in prank and we were.

Speaker 3 (07:02):
Like, no, I had you, I had I had you
that day.

Speaker 5 (07:06):
We were like, thanks, I appreciate.

Speaker 3 (07:14):
Yeah, I can't.

Speaker 2 (07:15):
Can you imagine if everybody, if anybody watches love is blind.
I can't even see you being okay with dating somebody
behind the.

Speaker 4 (07:22):
Wall that you cannot see what they look like.

Speaker 3 (07:25):
That's when I'm gonna find my true love.

Speaker 5 (07:26):
Like you had a b BL. Next they say, no, next,
that's the fact.

Speaker 3 (07:36):
The BBL whisperer. I gotta stop. This is bad. No,
that's not that's not my time. I just don't discriminate.

Speaker 8 (07:45):
I just if that's your thing, I'm like, okay, you thing, alright.

Speaker 5 (07:50):
All right, Well anyway that is your ye.

Speaker 2 (07:53):
See when we come back, we have about last night
and I had a night last night. Boy, all I
wanted to do was go home and be on chill
and I couldn't even get there. But let's be on
show right now while laying Deremia is way up night.

Speaker 7 (08:06):
So about last night, Yes, I went down.

Speaker 5 (08:13):
Yes, way up at Angela.

Speaker 2 (08:14):
Ye, I'm here, Maino's here, No man, Jasmine brand is here.

Speaker 6 (08:18):
I'm not just any brand on my own brand.

Speaker 2 (08:21):
Yeah, listen, Angela U Day is coming up on September first.
I'm getting some great messages from people who want to
come through.

Speaker 5 (08:26):
It's so hard because they are like, amazing.

Speaker 4 (08:29):
What's hard about it?

Speaker 5 (08:30):
You artists?

Speaker 2 (08:30):
That's going to show we don't have enough time or
how much time do we have? I mean, it ain't
like an all day main.

Speaker 5 (08:38):
No day of it.

Speaker 7 (08:39):
That's the thing.

Speaker 2 (08:40):
It's from twelve to five on September first. But y'all
need to come out.

Speaker 5 (08:43):
It's free. It's a lot of yeah, and it's really fun.

Speaker 2 (08:46):
All my friends are flying in for it, and y'all
at my friends too, So y'all make sure you show up.

Speaker 5 (08:50):
But last night I gotta my tire blew out.

Speaker 4 (08:55):
Oh wow, I know.

Speaker 2 (08:57):
Now I had to look at the bright side of
things because it has been while. I was literally right
across the street from where I used to live in
Brooklyn sign and fortunately, shout out to George, shout out
to Royce, my old neighbors. I was able to just
give them the key because the tow truck didn't come
for two and a half hours. Yeah, so I just
gave them the key, and when the tow truck got there,

(09:18):
they just went out, gave them the key, and then
they told the car nice. So now I'm waiting to
and praying that my car will be ready because I
have to drive somewhere tomorrow. But if not, I guess
I'll be using Alona. I don't know how I'm going
to figure this out, but anyway, I had to look
at the bright side of things when something like that happens, Like,
at least I'm not far from home.

Speaker 5 (09:37):
At least it didn't happen on the highway.

Speaker 2 (09:38):
At least I'm not injured. At least it's not an accident.

Speaker 8 (09:41):
Yeah, I had to get told off a bridge before
it was Yeah, you wait hours for that.

Speaker 2 (09:47):
Yeah, and you can't go anywhere because you can't leave
your car. At least I was on a residential street.
On a block I was very familiar with. So yeah,
so that was my night last night, and then Jasmine
came into town.

Speaker 4 (09:58):
Yeah, I flew into town. I had some stomach issues,
but I was fine by the time I made it
to Angelo. You know what time did you land I
landed like six forty five.

Speaker 2 (10:06):
Look, she told me she was landing at six thirty,
so it was like eight forty.

Speaker 5 (10:10):
I'm like, where are you in.

Speaker 4 (10:11):
The bathroom at the airport.

Speaker 3 (10:13):
So basically you was number two and all of yea.

Speaker 5 (10:15):
My stomach was going through so do so you just
put toilet paper? Like, what do you? What's your.

Speaker 4 (10:21):
Say?

Speaker 9 (10:22):
That again?

Speaker 3 (10:22):
Made on that toilet.

Speaker 4 (10:23):
No, I put toilet paper down.

Speaker 2 (10:25):
Listen.

Speaker 4 (10:25):
I knew it was going to be an issue because
I was. I started sweating before I went to the bathroom.
I was like, oh my god.

Speaker 2 (10:30):
Yeah, that's a scary one when you got to go
so bad you sweat.

Speaker 4 (10:33):
But at least at least it didn't happen on the plane.

Speaker 2 (10:36):
Mm hmm. See that's the Brice sided thing. That's what
this is all about, looking at the Brice sided things. Now, Maya,
you're fresh back from Hawaii, rush.

Speaker 3 (10:43):
Back from Hawaii, got back last night.

Speaker 5 (10:45):
All right, so tell us about this twist.

Speaker 8 (10:46):
It was my daughter's twelfth birthday, big deal because she
asked to go to Hawaii because now she's into these
trips now every year for a birthday, she wanted go
on the trip. Last year, I took it to Bahamas.
That was great, right, So now she, uh, she wanted
to go to Hawaii this year.

Speaker 2 (11:07):
She's not like, I want to go to six Flags,
I want to go to Disney. I need to go
to Hawaiian what she wants? Where's she going next year?

Speaker 3 (11:14):
She told me she want to go to Maude's.

Speaker 4 (11:15):
Never never been.

Speaker 3 (11:17):
This is what I'm saying, Oh my god. And she
told me this was not even a week later.

Speaker 2 (11:22):
So she while you were in Hawaii, still this expensive trip,
she talked about next year's trip.

Speaker 4 (11:27):
Absolutely, next year's trip is going to hit you in
the podcast for real good.

ninety two fifty one fifty. All the parents out there,
where do you take your kids when it's time to
celebrate their birthday in vacation? I see people taking their
kids to Paris. That's great that y'all can do that.

you went to the Bahamas. This year you're in Hawaii.

(12:52):
Next year you're going to Maldive's all. But she's dictating
where she wants these trips to take. And sorry, when
she's old enough to date and go on vacations, what
is that going to be?

Speaker 4 (13:04):

Speaker 2 (13:04):
No, but anyway, you're setting the bar high and we're
asking about where you take your kids on vacation.

a three year deal with rights to add sales, distribution
and more. Jason and Chavis Kelsey have signed a deal
with more than one hundred million dollars. Wow, that's wild
for their new Heights with Jason and Chavis Kelsey podcast.

Speaker 3 (18:15):
Wow.

Speaker 5 (18:15):
You know how amazing that is?

Speaker 4 (18:17):
H Yeah, that's a lot of money.

Speaker 2 (18:21):
Yeah, that is a lot of money.

Speaker 3 (18:22):
So supposed to be talking.

Speaker 2 (18:24):
I mean, congratulations to them on that all right now,
Big Sean, oh, Big Sean, let's let's give him some love.
Today he was being very vulnerable as he was talking
about some of the challenges that he's having with his
new album, Better Me Than You. It's supposed to be
out this week, by the way, and he was on
Live giving an update on this long awaited album, and

(18:46):
it seems like he got very emotional talking about it
and he had to gather himself together, and here's what
he said.

Speaker 13 (18:52):
I am a chronic overthinker. I'm having a hard time
they leaves straight up. It is not being easy, but
it's worth it. The whole concept of the album, though,
is like better Meeting You. So it's like when you
go through your it's like you don't want you can
handle it. So that's the concept of the album. So
that's why I always remember, like, because it gets hard.

Speaker 3 (19:14):
Why are you sitting there laughing though?

Speaker 2 (19:16):
Who yeah, she's sitting there, may know is lying.

Speaker 3 (19:19):
No, I don't like that. Black man need to have
a space where oh my.

Speaker 4 (19:23):
Gosh, I'm not laughing.

Speaker 3 (19:24):
Maybe you are.

Speaker 13 (19:26):
No.

Speaker 4 (19:26):
I'm an overthinker too, so I get it. But I'm
also on medcation, so it bounces me out.

Speaker 5 (19:31):
She definitely came up here with a bunch of pills and.

Speaker 4 (19:35):
Angela asked me for one tho.

Speaker 2 (19:40):
But anyway, you know, I'm sure it's difficult. Number one,
he's a dad now, so that changes it makes you
feel I'm sure more. Number two, the album did get
leaked allegedly before previously, and I know that's annoying, and
it got pushed back, and then it was supposed to
come out August ninth. Now it's August thirtieth, and it's
a lot of pressure, it is.

Speaker 4 (19:59):
Yeah, Yeah, I feel like it's almost easier when you
just start because there's no expectation.

Speaker 2 (20:02):
But we appreciate him for being vulnerable. Now, let's talk
about plies. Applies was on social media actually just about
a half an hour ago, and he's been talking about
how people are not putting the same pressure on Donald
Trump as they are putting on Kamala Harris running for president,
talking about policies.

Speaker 5 (20:18):
Here's what he had to say about.

Speaker 2 (20:19):
All the things that Trump has done that you know
that makes him want to vote for Kamala Harris instead.

Speaker 11 (20:25):
Until Kama Harris become a computer feeling, until Kama Harrison
in peace twice, until Kamla Harrison and died it for
a moment time, until Kamla Harris is found liable for
sexual abuse, until Kalma Harrison found guilty a mother frown
and got to pay three hundred and some other me,
you know, until Kamla Harre try to overthrow my election,
until Kama Harris any of that, she's.

Speaker 3 (20:46):
A better mother candidate. To me, that's a lot of things.

Speaker 2 (20:50):
And you know what people were in the comments naming
even more things, right, Donald Trump has done. In addition,
he also brings up my jasmine, you're an aka, so
you can relate to this.

Speaker 5 (20:58):
Here's what he said.

Speaker 3 (21:00):
Whatever you want to do. But I'm not voting for
no mother.

Speaker 9 (21:03):
Rich white man to be able to.

Speaker 3 (21:04):
Do whatever you want to do.

Speaker 9 (21:06):
I don't hate that much.

Speaker 3 (21:09):
And I damn sure don't hate a black woman.

Speaker 11 (21:11):
True.

Speaker 3 (21:11):
You can vote for a oh, you can vote for
the mother.

Speaker 2 (21:16):
We'll go with ak all right, Well, that is your
u T. When we come back, we have under the radar.
These are the stories that are not necessarily and the
headlines they're flying under the radar. At the top of
the list, Apple, who needs a new iPhone? You should
wait for this new one to come out there saying
this is going to be the biggest and best update yet.
It's way up.

Speaker 1 (21:33):
Take the news. News.

Speaker 7 (21:35):
This in the news that relates to you. These stories
are flying under the radar.

Speaker 5 (21:40):
All right, his way up.

Speaker 2 (21:41):
I'm here, Jasmin Baring is here, not just on my
own brand new man nose in the building. I know,
all right, and let's get into some of this yu
T I mean, well, no, sorry, under the radar.

Speaker 5 (21:51):
Yes, let's talk about Apple.

Speaker 2 (21:54):
They're expected to debut the first generative AI iPhone at
the event that's going to be happening September ninth. They're
having a really huge special event. The tagline is It's
Glow Time.

Speaker 4 (22:05):
It's Glow Angela needs a new phone so bad.

Speaker 2 (22:08):
I needed my phone will just randomly shut off. Jasmine
was trying to call me.

Speaker 3 (22:13):
It didn't want to buy the new one. So the
new one is what sixteen seventeen?

Speaker 5 (22:16):
Yeah, the sixteen sixteen.

Speaker 3 (22:19):
That's crazy. I got I got eighteen?

Speaker 4 (22:21):
You a lie eight?

Speaker 5 (22:23):
All right?

Speaker 2 (22:23):
Well, they said iPhone fifteen Pro Max users will likely
be able to access at least some of these AI features.
The upcoming iPhone sixteen is going to be the first
device designed fully with AI in mind. They also have
announced a partnership with chat GPT, the creator of that
open AI, which is facing its own scrutiny and challenges.

(22:43):
But again, this is going to be, they're saying, one
of the biggest updates yet.

Speaker 4 (22:48):
I wish I could have waited. I've jumped in the
pool my old phone, so I had to get a
new file. Wish you did.

Speaker 3 (22:54):
Going to pool?

Speaker 5 (22:54):
It did got it didn't work.

Speaker 4 (22:56):
It wasn't this phone whatever, this one it was before?

Speaker 3 (22:58):
It was shut up?

Speaker 2 (23:00):
You gotta Android six Wow? Why everybody be hating on androids?

Speaker 4 (23:05):
I gotta have my secondphone. Second phone is an Android.

Speaker 5 (23:08):
All right?

Speaker 10 (23:09):
Now?

Speaker 2 (23:10):
Twenty three more Red Lobster restaurants are closing.

Speaker 4 (23:13):
Oh no, Wor's flavor flave?

Speaker 3 (23:15):
What I know? I like red Lobster.

Speaker 4 (23:17):
I like the busy you do, Yeah?

Speaker 3 (23:19):
I like red bus Yeah like what? Wow?

Speaker 2 (23:23):
You know it's never been a big deal to me.
I don't need seafood, so that's not really fun. But
that means it's going to be a total of at
least one hundred and twenty nine red lobsters close across
the United States.

Speaker 5 (23:34):
You know, they had a lot of issues. They did,
like this all.

Speaker 2 (23:36):
You can eat shrimp, Yeah, shrimp, and you know how
y'all be okay, I like that in this room.

Speaker 5 (23:42):
Everybody in this room gets them all you can eat shrimp.

Speaker 4 (23:45):
It's over.

Speaker 2 (23:45):
It's a crime, you know, to actually go to the
all you can eat and only one person gets it
and give it to other people.

Speaker 4 (23:51):
Yeah, that's what me and MAINA would try to do.
One of us get it and then yeah, no, just
excuse me, what did you just say?

Speaker 3 (23:57):
Alid?

Speaker 5 (23:58):
What what you said?

Speaker 3 (24:00):
Got to stop? This is crazy?

Speaker 2 (24:02):
Well anyway, so yeah, so for all you red lobster
seafood lovers, and you know, olive Gardens brought back there
never ending possible.

Speaker 4 (24:10):
I like I like their breadsticks.

Speaker 5 (24:11):
I saw people were making a lot of jokes like
you see what happened with red lobster.

Speaker 2 (24:14):
I don't know if you want to do that, but
I like their breasticks to end their salad sounds good.

Speaker 3 (24:18):
Yeah, going out of business because of having a buffet.

Speaker 5 (24:21):
Some people are saying that really is what just.

Speaker 4 (24:24):
They had that all you can eat shrimp and people
they were eating about a house of a home.

Speaker 2 (24:28):
Yeah, not enough shrimp in the world for that. All right,
well that is you're under the radar now, you know.
We have the way Up mix at the top of
the hour. Plus Trevor Jackson is going to be joining
us today. You're gonna love this interview with him. He's
got a lot going on, but he's left a major label.
Now he's doing everything independently. It seems like, stop it.
You know that was not him. Cut it out, no one,

(24:51):
you're being funny. We told you not being funny and
super fly random t Jackson was big all right, right,
all right, all right, it's way.

Speaker 7 (25:01):
Rooms from industry shade to all of gos ap out
sad Angela's speeling that yet.

Speaker 5 (25:08):
All right, this way up, I'm here, Jazmine Brand is here.

Speaker 6 (25:11):
I'm not just rent on my own rent.

Speaker 2 (25:13):
Manos in the building, right all right, and let's get
right into some Yet it looks like Juicy J has
a jazz album that's out today.

Speaker 4 (25:22):
Oh who knew? I missed that?

Speaker 2 (25:24):
Okay that this was coming anyway, We have a little
snippet for you guys so you can hear what that
sounds like, Oh, on.

Speaker 1 (25:30):
My house, you created the trip or flow. I know
it sound like I'm crying.

Speaker 12 (25:33):
I just miss you though heart gave bound heart attack
in your sleep.

Speaker 1 (25:37):
Hope you finally get some rest, finally get some pills.

Speaker 12 (25:40):
Different stories, but they all the same.

Speaker 13 (25:42):
Same.

Speaker 1 (25:43):
Life is crazy, love the strange shit.

Speaker 12 (25:47):
To you?

Speaker 9 (25:47):
All the pain did she feels she inflicted on you?

Speaker 3 (25:51):
I like that.

Speaker 6 (25:51):
I feel like good.

Speaker 4 (25:52):
I feel like that's like grown hip hop, like adult
hip hop.

Speaker 2 (25:55):
All right, well, it's called the rabbin Nite Social Club.
And by the way, that's Robert glassper on that song too.
A launched a MBC Kresto shout out to Juicy J.
We like when people do things uh, you know a
little different and.

Speaker 3 (26:10):
Juicy J.

Speaker 5 (26:14):
He can be as he's versatile, he has reached. I
like that, all right.

Speaker 2 (26:21):
Well, he also on that song is reflecting on his
life and he dedicated the track to Gangstaboo, Lord Infamous
and Coopston Yeah from former three six Mafia members.

Speaker 5 (26:32):
Cool all right.

Speaker 2 (26:33):
Angel Reese has launched her Unapologetically Angel podcast after having
a breakout w NBA season. I see what she's doing
because you see what the Kelsey Brothers just got for
their podcast. So now her new show was announced just today.
New episodes are going to drop every Thursday, starting with
the debut on September fifth. Unapologetically Angel, Okay, I wonder

(26:53):
how much she got, you know what. They were doing
this for a little while before they got that deal.
So hers is just launched, So I'm sure she got
something for it. But you know, once you establish it,
that's when you can go to the table.

Speaker 4 (27:04):
Yeah, she's also a movie. She's a new w NBA
star too.

Speaker 2 (27:07):
Yeah, then you can be and yeah, you know, there's
a lot more details to go into it now. Sonaw
Lathan is talking about the character that she played in
a new movie who is an alcoholic, and she admitted
that she said that casting felt cathartic. She said, there
was a period in my life where I was using
alcohol as self medication, and she said she turned to
alcohol for a multitude of reasons. She said, you don't

(27:29):
realize how over time it gets your brain out of
balance as well. And the more I educated myself, I'm
really what it does to you. I have a mother
who has never drink, and she's probably the funniest person,
the happiest person because there's this whole belief that you
can only have fun with alcohol. So she's been doing
her sobriety journey right now.

Speaker 4 (27:46):
Yeah, okay, we have nothing to say. Listen you like it.

Speaker 3 (27:52):
I love it.

Speaker 2 (27:53):
But she's starring in hulse new comedy drama The Supremes
at Earls All you Can Eat, So.

Speaker 4 (27:58):
I started that on movie? Oh you did started?

Speaker 5 (28:00):
And how was it?

Speaker 3 (28:01):
So far?

Speaker 4 (28:01):
It's good so far?

Speaker 3 (28:02):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (28:03):
All right, j Low and Ben Affleck their divorce is
getting very messy and very complicated, not very demure, not
very cutesy either, right TMZ is talking about this, They said,
because they have no prenup, everything that they acquired over
their two year marriage is community property. So that means
that those assets will be divided equally.

Speaker 5 (28:22):
But that's not as easy as it sounds.

Speaker 2 (28:25):
He has a huge production company, Artist Equity, in which
he's partnered with his best friend Matt Damon, as we know,
so that could mean that Matt Damon now is dragged
into this because of their partnership and his marriage like that.
That company was formed in November of twenty twenty two,
so that's four months after they got married, so it
would seem that Ben Affleck's stake in the company is

(28:47):
community property, so she would be entitled to a share
of those profits. Like the movie Air Unstoppable, The Instigators
The Accountant Part two.

Speaker 4 (28:56):
I'll watch The Instigators this week and that was good,
all right.

Speaker 5 (28:58):
They also have their house in Beverly Hills that's for sale.

Speaker 2 (29:01):
They have a twenty million dollar mortgage on the property,
but no one's trying to buy it. And the taxes
also might be a reason because they have that huge
mansion tax. So we'll see what happens. Maybe they'll both
be like, you know what, we didn't have a prenup,
but we both have so much. Let's just keep it separate. Yep,
that would be nice. Yeah, all right, Well that is
your yeete. When we come back, we have asked yee.
Eight hundred two nine two fifty one fifty is a number.

(29:23):
Call this up any question that you have. The whole
panel is here to help, including the award winning advice giver.
Birthday coming up, er Mano, it's way up?

Speaker 1 (29:32):
Are going?

Speaker 7 (29:33):
Everybody since whether it's relationship or koreer advice, Angela's dropping facts.

Speaker 5 (29:38):
You should know this is ask gee, what's up? His
way up?

Speaker 2 (29:41):
At Angela Yee, I'm here. Mano's here. He's an award
winning advice giver, award winning Jasmine brand is here and
it's time for ask Ye eight hundred two nine two
fifty one fifty.

Speaker 5 (29:50):
We have Sean on the line. What's up, Sean?

Speaker 3 (29:53):
How you doing?

Speaker 1 (29:53):
I'm good?

Speaker 2 (29:54):
How are you?

Speaker 3 (29:55):
I'm doing pretty good?

Speaker 5 (29:56):
All right? What is your question for ask Ye today
for the panel?

Speaker 3 (30:00):
How can I break it down to my girlfriend and
my mother.

Speaker 4 (30:04):
Got somebody else?

Speaker 2 (30:06):
Oh so you have a girlfriend, but you cheated on
her and got somebody pregnant. Yeah, how old are you?

Speaker 3 (30:15):
Damn?

Speaker 2 (30:16):
Okay? And so I assume she's keeping the baby she
wants to keep.

Speaker 3 (30:21):
I'm not ready to be your parents. I just graduated
high school.

Speaker 2 (30:25):
Right, man, Well, a woman can decide what she wants
to do when it comes to that.

Speaker 5 (30:30):
So it looks like.

Speaker 2 (30:31):
You have to get ready for the fact that you
are about to be a father, is what it's looking like.

Speaker 4 (30:36):
So you want to advice on how to tell your
girlfriend and your parents.

Speaker 3 (30:40):
It's no easy way to do that.

Speaker 2 (30:41):
Just be prepared that a your girlfriend may not be
your girlfriend anymore.

Speaker 4 (30:45):
Who do you think he should tell first his parents
or his girlfriend.

Speaker 3 (30:48):
I think the.

Speaker 2 (30:49):
Parents, right, I think, first tell your parents, and I'm
quite sure that you know that's tough.

Speaker 5 (30:54):
You're about to go to college.

Speaker 4 (30:56):
Right, it's not the first dad to have Yeah, you know.

Speaker 2 (31:00):
I know it's still not easy though, No, no, but
I don't want.

Speaker 4 (31:02):
Him to feel like his life is over because it's not.

Speaker 3 (31:04):
Definitely, life is definitely not over. Don't even put that
in your mind.

Speaker 2 (31:07):
Think your parents would be supportive of you, though it'll
be hard for me to explain it to him and
they'll be shocking, but they'll be supportive.

Speaker 3 (31:15):
But okay, they expect more from my career than like that.

Speaker 4 (31:19):
How were your parents when they had you?

Speaker 2 (31:22):
I do believe seventeen sixty Okay, okay, so they had
you young, and I'm sure they know like that it
was hard that way.

Speaker 4 (31:28):
But it sounds like you got support of parents after
they get over the shot.

Speaker 2 (31:31):
Probably, yeah, And then I think once the baby's here,
a lot of times they excited, you know, regardless. So
what you need to do is just make sure you
handle your responsibilities as as a father. Yeah, as a father,
and you're gonna have to make sure you're there for
those doctors' visits. Try to keep your relationship cordial.

Speaker 4 (31:50):
Where a girl live in the same town as you
right now, Yeah, she stays in Nashville, but I go
to college and high school.

Speaker 1 (31:55):
People.

Speaker 2 (31:56):
Okay, well, look, all you can do is be the
best father that you can be. Be A is present
in that child's life is and sometimes this is just
gonna be the motivation for you also because you want
to make sure you provide a great life for your child.

Speaker 5 (32:07):
So start the foundation right. Let your parents know.

Speaker 2 (32:11):
Unfortunately you may not have a girlfriend anymore, but you
never know. Stranger things have happened. Maybe she'll, you know,
forgive it. I don't know. But all you can do
now is be honest because this is another life that
you're dealing with.

Speaker 5 (32:24):
You know what, we would love an update.

Speaker 4 (32:26):
And we want baby pictures. Wants the babies here conall.
We know the baby's gonna be Kip.

Speaker 5 (32:29):
We will definitely send a gift, a gift.

Speaker 4 (32:32):
We're good at gifts.

Speaker 5 (32:35):
All right, Well, good luck, Sean, thank you.

Speaker 2 (32:38):
You know, it's an early life lesson, but it could
be the biggest blessing in the world. I'm sure it will.
It later end up being a big blessing, all right. Well,
that was asking. There's nothing we could really do except
tell him to be honest, and then we'll tell your
awn to get that support. And then you're gonna have
to tell your girlfriend the truth as soon as possible,
and she's probably not gonna mess with you. All right, Well,

(32:59):
when we come I'm back speaking of complications, Trevor Jackson.
It's complicated. That's the name of his project that's out
right now. This is a great conversation because Trevor Jackson
has clearly had some issues with being the side piece
in the relationship. All right, it's way up with Angela Yee.
Turn out you way up with Angela Yee. More, now,
what's up as way up with Angela Yee. Finally, Trevor

(33:22):
Jackson is.

Speaker 3 (33:23):
Here with us, reunited, and it feels so good.

Speaker 5 (33:26):
Reunited.

Speaker 2 (33:27):
You're not even a triple you know, people always say
triplere You're like a quintuple dress because if you think
about everything you've done Broadway acting, writing, also singing, directing,
I mean, you do it all.

Speaker 3 (33:41):
I love it.

Speaker 12 (33:42):
I'm happy that I have multiple outlets to express myself.

Speaker 5 (33:46):
And just to see the growth that you've had.

Speaker 2 (33:47):
When I first met you, it was when you were
on Atlantic Records. We met I was fifteen, you were
fifteen years old, and so they were like, Okay, we're
going to do some media training, but you already were
really good. That's why I was like, he's fifteen, but
he's pretty good at like being entertaining and engaging and
answering these questions. And it's always kind of a hard
transition when you started doing this at a young age.

(34:09):
People know you from like Disney, they know you know,
for different things, and then they have to see you
grow up and also grow up with your music. They're like,
why is young because even when I see you, you're
always like fifteen year old. No, it's Trevor to me,
but you're not fifteen anymore. And yeah, and we'll talk
about the music because that definitely reflects because you were
a no fifteen year old side piece.

Speaker 5 (34:29):
But what actually was No, what you were not?

Speaker 9 (34:35):
I'm sure most men they probably don't tell you, but
most dudes were in that spot.

Speaker 10 (34:39):
No.

Speaker 2 (34:39):
I do want to say, like, it's complicated, the project
that you put out, that's like a movie.

Speaker 9 (34:43):
Yeah, it's real, it's real.

Speaker 12 (34:44):
The song Guy on the Side was kind of the
catalyst for the album because I wrote that and it
was real. I was just like, yo, you're trying to
like sell me on this dream, Like, hey, I don't
really care on him, but I'm like, I'm.

Speaker 5 (34:54):
Just yeah, you kind of just pushing and pulling.

Speaker 3 (34:56):
Is pushing and pulling.

Speaker 9 (34:58):
So I was like, don't send me to love.

Speaker 12 (34:59):
You know, I cannot buy. I'm just a guy on
the side. We can we can pretend all day, but
you end up going back there.

Speaker 5 (35:04):
Right now, I'm talking to Trevor Jackson.

Speaker 2 (35:06):
You know he was on Broadway as a kid and
a lion king, but you also know him as an
actor today and a singer, a writer, all of the things.

Speaker 5 (35:14):
So how did that?

Speaker 2 (35:14):
Because this is a real story and you've been to
stories darn how many sides? How many times?

Speaker 5 (35:20):
Oh my gosh, are you a career sign?

Speaker 9 (35:22):
I'm not a career side guy, but I just always
kind of ended up in that spot. But here's the thing.

Speaker 5 (35:26):
Why is that? You think is it the energy you're
putting out?

Speaker 9 (35:29):
No, I think it's because I'm not in those times.

Speaker 12 (35:31):
Like people that I was talking to, I made it
clear like, hey, I'm not interested in that, and they
didn't wait for me, but they still like me, you
know what I'm saying. So they're like, hey, I want
something solid that's consistent, but I can depend on and
that's gonna be there for me, and I can't fulfill
those needs.

Speaker 5 (35:44):
You just didn't want to exactly okay, because you can't.

Speaker 3 (35:47):
I can't. I can't, but definitely not.

Speaker 9 (35:48):
I'm just yeah, I'm moving.

Speaker 3 (35:50):
But yeah, man, you know.

Speaker 2 (35:52):
It's interesting because this whole project is complicated, right.

Speaker 5 (35:55):
You start up with.

Speaker 2 (35:56):
Find out and then you talk about how people have
this preconceived notion.

Speaker 5 (36:00):
Maybe women hear something about you.

Speaker 3 (36:02):
Angela said, I'm messing you where you were this side.

Speaker 2 (36:05):
I know that, but you know people will have a yeah,
but they should find out. And so what do you
hear about yourself that you're like, oh, that's not me
because people do have an impression now, so know the
artwork has you hiding under the bed while she's with
another dude.

Speaker 3 (36:22):
You know. So there's two things I've had.

Speaker 12 (36:25):
I've had so many people come up and be like, oh,
I heard about you, and I'm like, we.

Speaker 9 (36:31):
Just smith, Can you just get your own opinion?

Speaker 12 (36:34):
And then it's on the acting side of things, people
will be like, yo, you're nothing like the guy and Superfici. Guys,
I'm an actor, right, I don't sell cocaine. It's not
a thing I do. I had to do really come
up like, hey, bro, if you need that, you know,
I'm really like that in the movies movie I said, guys,
this isn't really.

Speaker 5 (36:48):
It's so funny. Well you do a great job.

Speaker 9 (36:50):
But I was cracking up.

Speaker 1 (36:51):
I was.

Speaker 9 (36:51):
I was at the bowling and the dude literally walked.

Speaker 3 (36:53):
He's like, yo, I got if you need to move home.
It was like, dude, what, I don't do that? Bless you?

Speaker 2 (37:00):
Okay, all right, Trevor Jackson is here. We have more
with him when we come back. It's way up at
the Angela yeahs.

Speaker 5 (37:06):
Turn me up here we go upgain.

Speaker 1 (37:09):
This is way up with Angela ye.

Speaker 5 (37:11):
What's up? His way up with Angela ye, Angela yee.
And Trevor Jackson is here with me. Now let's talk
about this tail all right, this too.

Speaker 9 (37:18):
Talking about I've had it.

Speaker 3 (37:19):
Yeah like it?

Speaker 9 (37:20):
We know.

Speaker 5 (37:21):
I didn't say that, No you don't like it, and.

Speaker 9 (37:23):
I said I would cut it off at nipple links
and it's almost there.

Speaker 4 (37:26):
It's almost.

Speaker 3 (37:26):
It's bad. It's bad.

Speaker 6 (37:28):
It's bad.

Speaker 3 (37:29):
I act like.

Speaker 12 (37:33):
I got low, Hey, I got.

Speaker 5 (37:37):
So no, But honestly, let's talk about this tail. So now,
what's what's the plan with this tail?

Speaker 9 (37:42):
The plan is a roll so big that I have
to cut it off.

Speaker 5 (37:46):
Marvel, Marvel, please.

Speaker 3 (37:49):
Go, hey, Marles Morales, I can shave.

Speaker 2 (37:53):
Now the music. Let's get to that, all right, because
that's a big deal right now for you, having independent
and also being able to about real life things. Is
it hard to talk about real life things too, because
sometimes some of that could be a little bit like
should I be Yeah.

Speaker 9 (38:08):
I think it's kind of the only place I feel
comfortable enough to talk about it.

Speaker 12 (38:11):
Like I said, all these are experiences that happened, like
from a distance, I was talking to this young lass.
She like just to cut me off out of nowhere,
and I was like, what's going on? And I remember
I had hit her up and I'm like.

Speaker 3 (38:21):
Yo, where are you at?

Speaker 12 (38:22):
I thought we was linking and she's like, I'm good,
love enjoy and didn't talk to me for like.

Speaker 3 (38:26):
Five six months.

Speaker 12 (38:28):
I didn't do anything, but I'm pretty sure she probably
thought or somebody might have said something to her to
where she just thought.

Speaker 9 (38:33):
I did something, but I didn't. It wasn't my girlfriend
or none, but we were talking.

Speaker 5 (38:37):
Okay, so maybe she found out somebody else she was
talking to.

Speaker 12 (38:39):
And then yeah, but I'm good love and joy is
crazy to be the last thing to say to somebody,
I'm good love enjoy.

Speaker 3 (38:46):
So the song I'm good love enjoy, I wish you will.

Speaker 12 (38:51):
But I do want to say that the music that
I'm making, obviously when I make it, it's coming.

Speaker 5 (38:55):
Out later, right, right, So this's been happening.

Speaker 9 (38:57):
So this is I was these are a while ago.

Speaker 12 (38:59):
And then I have two other albums that I'm working on,
and one is we're not working on that are done.
N one is a breakup album, which is supposed to
be the prequel to what this album is.

Speaker 2 (39:07):
Okay, so yeah, that's why we're And then this complied
that's why we're.

Speaker 9 (39:10):
Still because we used to be together and we broke up,
but we still kind of.

Speaker 2 (39:13):
Have that Oh my god, imagine going from the main
to the side that happens all the time.

Speaker 9 (39:20):
You just saw that exactly what.

Speaker 3 (39:24):
Storry for you, man.

Speaker 12 (39:27):
And then the album after that is like, Okay, I'm
done with her, I'm back outside, I'm having motion, and yeah,
this is what you did to me, you turn me
into this thing.

Speaker 5 (39:34):
Right now, I'm talking to Trevor Jackson.

Speaker 2 (39:36):
You know he was on Broadway as a kid and
a lion king, but you also know him as an
actor today and a singer, a writer, all of the things.

Speaker 5 (39:44):
Do you cry during the breakupes?

Speaker 9 (39:45):
What?

Speaker 5 (39:47):
The men don't like to admit that?

Speaker 11 (39:48):
Oh?

Speaker 9 (39:48):
Men need to all men and they should cry more.

Speaker 12 (39:50):
My dad lately has been crying a lot, And I
saidad because fist fifty years you've not cried.

Speaker 9 (39:55):
Bro, you've been Try and buy your.

Speaker 12 (39:56):
Lip, but no, dude, I went through my breakup two
weeks after I tore my achilles, so I have to
cast on and I'm in the studio ken. I had
to keep lifting my leg up because all the blood
was rushing down. You know what I'm saying, Wow, recording
this record crime blah blah blah.

Speaker 9 (40:09):
But it came out fastest fastest album I've ever made.

Speaker 3 (40:11):
I made in a week.

Speaker 2 (40:12):
How long were you guys together before the breakup?

Speaker 3 (40:14):
On and off?

Speaker 9 (40:15):
About six seven years?

Speaker 5 (40:17):
She publicly with somebody else now, no.

Speaker 12 (40:19):
But I did see her two months after at an
event with some other guy. It's funny because right before
I saw her, I like stood up and I was like,
she's not gonna be in here.

Speaker 9 (40:27):
Look to the left, she's here with some dude. I
hug her. I don't even say something to do because
it's so fresh.

Speaker 12 (40:32):
I go to the bar tender. I said, I just
saw my ex girlfriend here with another guy. I need
you to hook me up. He said, I got just
what you needed. Three shots at tequila. I turned that
place out.

Speaker 5 (40:40):
They left, You said, I turned that place out.

Speaker 3 (40:42):
They left.

Speaker 9 (40:43):
They left because they knew I was about to get ready.

and shoo with.
