like there's so much She won't tell everything too, we

it was like her and a whole bunch.

Speaker 2 (04:32):
Of guys forget though they had independent label in the
early nineties and they.

Speaker 4 (04:37):
Had the clothing line and everything, and then the eighties
and then producing movies. You know, everything that she's done
acting and then singing and rapping, I mean, just amazing.
She said, We all came into this industry together, and
hip hop has shaped each and every one of us.
Hip Hop's impact has expanded beyond just music and has
created a lasting impression on culture and society overall. It

(04:58):
is a dream to be able to collapse rate with
friends and colleagues that have not only a shared understanding,
but are able to tell these stories that were the
batchup of our lives.

Speaker 3 (05:07):
So, you know, I actually saw her at the.

Speaker 4 (05:10):
Variety Power of Women dinner that happened, and she had
teased at that time that she had some interest in
presenting the story in a film form, and so she
did say at that time she has some things that
she is cooking up, and it looks like she definitely does.
If there's anybody I would want to see a biopic on,
She's at the top of my list, just because I
feel like we don't hear.

Speaker 3 (05:31):
Enough about her story. She don't do a lot of interviews.

Speaker 4 (05:34):
She's been around since no never, and she's been around
since you know, yeah, since the beginning, and and very
I think instrumental in just also bringing together women and
hip hop and remember you and I t Y making
what women want to feel respected and all of that,
but then also being down with a naughty by nature

(05:55):
and understanding exactly you know, social to you, Queen Latifa.
All right, well right now, let's get into some Big
Sean blessings. And I want to point out this show
way up, way up. I feel blessed. I actually got
the idea from that Big Sean song, yeah, because I

get a chance to see some of the biggest artists

(07:30):

Speaker 6 (07:35):
Yeah, I like him.

Speaker 4 (07:36):
Yeah that song Tipsy, I mean that was like one
of the biggest songs ever. And the fact that you
know he worked with Beyonce, you know, but he's been
doing this for a minute and a very pleasant, nice
person took.

Speaker 6 (07:48):
The country and flipped it urban that that feel.

Speaker 1 (07:52):

Speaker 3 (08:23):
All right, it's eight hundred two nine two fifty one fifty.
Call us up.

Speaker 4 (08:26):
If you have a secret. We're not gonna judge you.
You are anonymous, nobody will know it's you. Unless it's
a crime, then we might got to tell. But eight
hundred two nine two fifty one fifty tell us a secret,
Mayno said, he not telling.

Speaker 6 (08:37):

Mano is here, I am Maya.

Speaker 4 (08:52):
You don't have no secrets, right, I just want to
make sure nah no, because I've aligned myself with you.

Speaker 3 (08:57):
Now. If something happens, those secrets eiding in a bedding,
I don't want that for me.

Speaker 6 (09:04):
You know he did this, I'd be like, what man.

Speaker 3 (09:07):
I had no idea And just so you know, I'm
on the side of right.

Speaker 4 (09:10):
All right, Well, eight hundred and two ninety two fifty
one fifty you're anonymous. It's no judgment because we are
in no position to judge anybody. Hey, anonymous, color, you
want to tell us a secret?

Speaker 1 (09:19):
My mother would like always lying about who my father was.
For this particular guy. She's like, you know, put off
on him all my life or whatnot. And he had
got out of jail and was like pressuring me to
have a baby, like wanted the father daughter bond and
like I just wasn't feeling this, So I sent him
nuds so he could stop pressuring me.

Speaker 3 (09:41):
And like, you know, but you said, child, who did
you send news to?

Speaker 1 (09:45):
I sent it to the man that was supposed to
been my father.

Speaker 3 (09:48):
I'm confused. So you sent your the person that your
mom said is your dad some nudes?

Speaker 1 (09:54):
Yeah, so he can stop looking at me as his daughter.

Speaker 6 (09:57):
Well he is your father.

Speaker 1 (09:59):
No, we had a I'll swap when I was.

Speaker 3 (10:01):
Thirteen, okay.

Speaker 1 (10:02):
Her excuse for it feeling is that he was doing crack.

Speaker 3 (10:06):
Okay, so that's not your father. So you sent the
news alone?

Speaker 6 (10:10):
He won't he won't look at her as a daughter.

Speaker 1 (10:13):
Yes, I didn't want him to look at me as
a daughter. I didn't want the pressure of, you know,
having a frandschold like I didn't want nothing to do
with Sophy.

Speaker 4 (10:21):
Listen, I feel I feel like you're in some pain though,
over this whole situation of not knowing who my father is.

Speaker 1 (10:26):
Yeah, yes, I most definitely am. Because she intentionally lied.
It's different when you don't know, but to intentionally lie,
that's a little different.

Speaker 4 (10:34):
Right, do you have any idea or just no idea
at or who your father could be, because that's tough,
like growing up and not knowing who your dad is and.

Speaker 1 (10:43):
Why we know? Well, actually that's the family. Does no
one talk to me? It's because of bad they feel
like I'm angry. But I get an ancestry dot com
about four years ago. My aunt got it for me
as a gift so she could like help me out
and help me heal. And you know, I want to
have kids, so I'm looking at.

Speaker 7 (11:00):
Myself too late.

Speaker 3 (11:02):
Okay, Well, I wish you so much luck on your
journey of finding out who your your father really is.

Speaker 6 (11:07):
I do thank you so much.

Speaker 4 (11:09):
Yeah, I understand this was about the news and that
was weird, but I feel her pain.

Speaker 4 (11:44):
What's up is way you put Angela? Yee, I'm here,
Mano's here. Let's do some yet, let's stop for some
good news. Glorilla has announced her debut album, Glorious is

blessed and y'all with hol on tonight at midnight. Hold on,
here's a snippet of that right now.

Speaker 1 (12:15):
You got this party, were gonna step on filth can
swiped it now this spirit charge, Mike, I'd be really much.

Speaker 3 (12:25):
All right, Globe.

Speaker 4 (12:25):
Really it's a good timing for her. I feel like
she did a great job with the whole setup and everything.

Speaker 3 (12:30):
All right. Now, here's a Diddy update.

Speaker 4 (12:32):
So his longtime publicist has reportedly quit amidst all of
the sex trafficking and racketeering charges.

Speaker 3 (12:39):
Nathalie Moore.

Speaker 4 (12:39):
Her phone was allegedly disconnected and her email is showing
no longer active.

Speaker 7 (12:44):
You know.

Speaker 3 (12:44):
They said she was with him for more than twenty
years wow, which is a really long time.

Speaker 4 (12:50):
It does not say she worked as his head of
communications and reportedly played a significant role in shaping the
media mogul's image, as well as several of his business
ventures like Sean John, his Fragrance lines, his Sarak, his
Bad Boy Reunion tour, his documentary, his voter Are Dying.
Diddy runs the city campaigns and so he started working
with her back in the late nineties. They said she

(13:12):
was left with no choice but to step down, and
light of all of this things that are happening in
his recent arrest, he probably can't even pay her anymore
right now either.

Speaker 6 (13:21):
Yeah, you gotta start trimming similar fat.

Speaker 3 (13:23):
And I don't know that you would. I mean, I
don't know how much she knows, you know, with.

Speaker 2 (13:27):
The public relations part of it, Like that's probably not
at this point. Nothing she could do, right, You're gonna
keep hold and retainer for what well.

Speaker 4 (13:36):
According to TMZ, sources are saying the investigation into Diddy
is still continuing. There is at least one person who's
been subpoena to testify in front of the grand jury
and other people are now open to cooperating as well.
But they said people are going One of the people
is a sex worker, a current sex worker who claims
they were involved with Diddy back in twenty fourteen. So

(13:57):
it says today, doesn't say male or female, says they
were involved with Diddy back in twenty fourteen. So not
sure what this is gonna mean, but apparently there are
definitely people who are gonna step forward. All right, Well,
that is your yee t and right now, let's get
into some big Sean. He's performing tomorrow night and you
can stream.

Speaker 3 (14:15):

Flying under the radar.

Speaker 8 (14:47):
What's up?

Speaker 3 (14:48):
It's way up at Angela.

Speaker 4 (14:48):
Yee, I'm here and Mano's here, and it's time for
your under the radar story. Stories that are flying under
the radar, but you need to know about it. In Springfield, Ohio,
the mayor has granted emergency powers and immigrants are saying
they fare for their safety. And that's all because of
Donald Trump and JD Vance's false claims that they're stealing
pets and eating them. Now, the mayor has issued a

(15:10):
proclamation yesterday that allowed him temporary emergency powers to address
safety concerns. The city will be able to quickly and
efficiently respond to possible threats, including potential acts of violence,
civil unrest, and cyber threats. And that's going to remain
in effect until they determined decrease and the risk to
public safety. So they've had to close college campuses, elementary

(15:31):
and middle schools, grocery stores, government buildings. They also cancel
the two day cultural festival because of safety concerns of
his story. Yeah, all because of this fake story that
they've been you know, this conspiracy theory story. I mean,
people are like really even call up here and say
that it's so this video it's like a fake video.

Speaker 3 (15:55):
Oh, he definitely was, because it's not true, you know.

Speaker 4 (15:57):
And then in Nebraska a man has been sent in
to eighty five to one hundred and twenty years in prison,
and that is for impersonating a seventeen year old. Zachary
Schik was twenty seven years old and he went to
school to pray on teenage girls.

Speaker 3 (16:12):
He was known by his peers as zach Hess.

Speaker 4 (16:15):
He disguised himself as a high school student for more
than fifty days, and that was him exploiting and sexually
assaulting over a dozen girls, some of them were as
young as thirteen years old.

Speaker 3 (16:24):
They said he blended in.

Speaker 4 (16:26):
He was five foot four, one hundred and twenty pounds,
and he attended multiple schools throughout the Lincoln Public Schools
district and he had graduated from the same district in
twenty fifteen.

Speaker 3 (16:36):
They definitely need to lock him up.

Speaker 4 (16:38):
I mean, thirteen year old girls and you a twenty
seven year old pretending to be seventeens sick goal all right,
Well that is you're under the radar. And when we
come back, we have the way a mixed at the
top of the hour plus we'll keep you guys updated.
The iHeartRadio Music Festival is happening tonight and tomorrow, streaming

Speaker 3 (17:06):
This is yeaty what's up?

Speaker 4 (17:10):
Its way up at Angela Yee. I'm here and Maino's
hair and it's time for your yeat. Nelly is being
sued by his former Saint Lunatics group members for a
copyright infringement because they say that they were not credited
or paid for work on the two thousand debut album Country.

Speaker 6 (17:26):
Grammar twenty five years later.

Speaker 4 (17:29):
Yeah, and they are claiming now that they were not
properly credited. So a couple of days ago they did
file this suit against Nelly in New York federal courts.

Speaker 6 (17:38):
So, but they always knew that they wasn't credited or
they just find this out.

Speaker 4 (17:41):
I feel like they've mentioned that, like this has come
up before, but I don't think they've sued him before.

Speaker 6 (17:46):
It a long time, I don't.

Speaker 3 (17:48):
Yeah, And that's the thing.

Speaker 4 (17:49):
I don't know how this is going to stand up,
because this is from two thousands, thousand. It's twenty four
years later, but I don't know. We're going to see

you being like you got written up or what they
wrote me up?

Speaker 3 (19:46):
But she nobody really paid attention.

Speaker 1 (19:48):
So she snitched.

Speaker 4 (19:50):
You think she she just hates on you? Is this
somebody that you have a lot of problems with issues with?

Speaker 8 (19:55):
Nah?

Speaker 3 (19:55):
I think she's just not because they were looking forward
to promote me and a little upset about that. Now,
why were you late? I live in New York in the.

Speaker 6 (20:05):
Tree, right, It wasn't your fault. You should beat that ass,
I get it.

Speaker 3 (20:12):
Do you think that perhaps you won't get this promotion
because of that? No, I'm gonna get it. I feel
like I'm gonna get it.

Speaker 4 (20:17):
That's what she's mad, right, Listen. What I love to
do is just to keep giving people things to be
mad about. You know what I'm saying. Keep shining, smiling
in the face, letting her know that you're aware. Like, hey, girl,
thanks for making sure you called me out for being late.
I appreciate you. You what's unexpected.

Speaker 6 (20:36):
Listen, if you really want to make her mad, you know,
you go see a bottom.

Speaker 4 (20:40):
Oh my gosh, mee her at the hood right, do not?
If Veronica, you're about to get this promotion, you gonna
write her up. It's not fun to have tension at work, though,
I will say that, And so I don't know if
you want to keep on doing things because the next
time you late, she's gonna try to tell on you again.

Speaker 3 (20:56):
You know what I'm saying. It's going to be an
ongoing psycho okay, all right, And and we can't do violence.
And by the way, you.

Speaker 2 (21:04):
Were late, and they like she made something up, right,
But then if she's late again, she's got to shut
up telling on her.

Speaker 6 (21:10):
She's going to keep telling her until she give up
a reason.

Speaker 3 (21:13):
Not it's just interesting because you, Veronica, you called on
a day when Old Mano came back.

Speaker 6 (21:17):
Yeah, this is what I'm saying.

Speaker 3 (21:19):
This is new Mayo. Stop on tracks.

Speaker 6 (21:23):
Give a real reasons to talk about something.

Speaker 4 (21:26):
But you know where Veronica, you blessed, You're still going
to get that promotion. You were only fifteen minutes late.
You just got to make sure you keep doing what
you gotta do.

Speaker 3 (21:34):
And listen, you gotta give him more to hate about.
That's all. That's what I say, given some more to hate.

Speaker 1 (21:39):

A festival where everybody's there and it's in Vegas, which
is always one of the most fun places to be,
but it's awesome.

And when I tell you, the people who come to
the iHeart Radio Music Festival like to party, and it's
gonna be one of those situations where we're out till
like six or seven in the morning. Now, I did
the smart thing this year, and my flight home is
not like first thing in the morning on Sunday. I'm
actually staying so I could sleep in a little bit.
Because you know how many times I almost missed my
flight trying to make that seven am flight in Vegas.

Speaker 3 (23:22):
It does not happen.

Speaker 4 (23:26):
Because you think you'll just stay up and go to
the airport. So listen, don't nobody want to feel sick
on the plane. And one year Paris, who works with me,
was with me. She missed her flight. I could not
get her to wake up. I was banging on her door, calling, calling, calling,
calling the room. I was like, I'm out, and so yeah,
I had to like you got to get up shorty,

(23:47):
you know. And so she was in the airport all
day trying to get another flight. She woke up in
a frenzy.

Speaker 3 (23:53):
I was on the plane. Is that bad that I left.

Speaker 4 (23:57):
Listen, it would have been it would have been harder
for us to try to get a flight back, though,
when you missed that flight.

Speaker 6 (24:02):
That happened to me.

Speaker 1 (24:03):
I was so lit.

Speaker 6 (24:04):
One time I fall asleep at my gate.

Speaker 3 (24:07):
What and no one woke you up?

Speaker 5 (24:08):
What was up?

Speaker 6 (24:09):
We fell asleep for so long?

Speaker 3 (24:10):
We was like, I know that people on standby, was
tiptoe passed you?

Speaker 6 (24:13):
Four plays later?

Speaker 4 (24:15):
I know people were on standby, like, got some seed,
so many of them four got them crazy?
