Speaker 3 (01:30):
Yee.

Speaker 2 (01:31):
I'm here with Carlos King. Yes, oh, man, Carlos, you
got to shine a light on somebody today because you
spread so much love. So who do you want to
shine a light on?

Speaker 3 (01:39):
You know, there's so many wonderful people in the world,
but I want to shine a light on my Kingdom
Reign family. It's my staff of amazing people. I was
in Paris celebrating our mutual friend Jennifer's wedding. I'm in
New York this week and they are holding down the
fort and the goals to show you that they're it's

(02:00):
no I in team and I am literally nothing without
my team. So as I'm here kicking it up with
my girl Angela, I want to spread the love and
joy to my wonderful team holding it down at the.

Speaker 2 (02:11):
Four And it is very busy over there at Kingdom Marion.
Y'all got a lot of TV shows that you guys
are working on, by the way, that the Emmy nominated staff.

Speaker 1 (02:19):
Yes, yeah, I'm on top of the Emmy. Okay, wish
me luck.

Speaker 2 (02:24):
Oh my gosh, listen, we are going to be praying
that you get this. It's well deserved though. You've been
working in this business for quite some time and you're
right there. You're nothing without your.

Speaker 1 (02:33):
Team, nothing nothing.

Speaker 3 (02:35):
They really do hold down, not on the fort but
like the executives over at the networks and the talent,
you know, it's a well owled machine.

Speaker 1 (02:45):
And it's because I have a great support staff.

Speaker 2 (02:47):
All right, Well, who do you guys want to spread
some love to? Eight hundred and two ninety two fifty
one fifty Raquel, Who do you want to shine a
light on?

Speaker 5 (02:54):
I want to shine a light on my man, my man,
my man Jersey City, just because you know, he's been
going through a lot as a father, as a black man,
and he is really doing big things and if nobody's
gonna support him, I'm gonna support him. So I'm sign
to light on him and I love him.

Speaker 2 (03:11):
What's his name?

Speaker 5 (03:12):
Good Wayne from Jersey City?

Speaker 2 (03:14):
All right, the Wayne from Jersey City. Your girl loves you.
You are her management. Sound like y'all had a good
night last night too. I'm not gonna lie.

Speaker 5 (03:22):
We always have good nights. I love.

Speaker 2 (03:25):
Okay six okay, rack?

Speaker 5 (03:27):
How all right, Angela, thank you so much. I appreciate
all that you do. And so I'm gonna sign light
on YouTube.

Speaker 2 (03:35):
Well, thank you? All right. Well that was shining Light
eight hundred two ninety two fifty one fifty in case
you couldn't get through. And when we come back, let's
take advantage of the fact that Carlos King is heir
the King of Reality TV, and we'll talk about Ti
and Tiny. They have won a seventy one million dollar lawsuit.
We'll give you the details. It's way up.

Speaker 4 (03:53):
Sure, she's about to blow the lid ab off this,
but let's get it. Oh, Angela's feeling that ye tea,
Come and get the tea.

Speaker 2 (04:00):
All right, it's way up with Angela. Yee, I'm here
and Carlos King is here with me, the King of
Reality TV.

Speaker 1 (04:06):
Whoa, whoa, whoa, And let's.

Speaker 2 (04:07):
Get into some yut So. Ti and Tiny have won
a seventy one million suit against MGA Entertainment, that is
a toy company that they said violated the intellectual property
rights of the OMD girls with their Lol surprise, OMG
line of dolls. Those dolls do look just like.

Speaker 1 (04:25):
They deserve this win.

Speaker 3 (04:26):
Now, listen, it's seventy one million, right, So do TI
Tiny get the entire seventy one million?

Speaker 1 (04:34):
They get fifty percent? Like, how much are they pocketing? Angela?

Speaker 2 (04:38):
I don't know how that works. Well, I know the
lawyer probably gets about half because that's what always happens.
But no matter. I mean, it's a nice win. And
what they said was that they should have been penalized.
They got penalized even more so with seventeen point eight
million in real damages fifty three point six million and
punitive damages. It was a three week trial and Tiny
had this to say, it's what.

Speaker 1 (04:59):
The city would for the culture. It was a fight.
We couldn't be more happy.

Speaker 3 (05:03):
Man.

Speaker 2 (05:03):
I wanted to come on here.

Speaker 3 (05:04):
I honestly wanted to thank the jurors for seeing us students.

Speaker 2 (05:08):
They heard our story and they knew you wouldn't.

Speaker 1 (05:11):
Learne see amazing.

Speaker 2 (05:13):
It's a nice win.

Speaker 1 (05:14):
So what are they gonna do with all this money?

Speaker 2 (05:17):
I don't know, but that's listen, open some businesses maybe
buy some houses. Invest I know they do all of
those things, right, so we'll.

Speaker 1 (05:25):
See retirement all right.

Speaker 2 (05:28):
And Megan Good was on a recent podcast with Raven
Simone and her wife Miranda today and she was asked
about what her experience has been being pretty and sometimes
there's an issue where they call being pretty can actually
hinder you.

Speaker 6 (05:44):
I can't tell you how many times I've walked into
something and I had an audition.

Speaker 2 (05:48):
They were like, she was great, but we just they
don't realistically believe her as this character because she's, you know,
a pretty girl. We just don't feel like And I'm like,
how can you determine what that character should look like?
Or what even what I will look like?

Speaker 7 (06:02):
Right?

Speaker 2 (06:02):
She said there's times when the leading man was cast
and she was passed because he doesn't look like he
could get her.

Speaker 1 (06:09):
I don't know about this one. Listen.

Speaker 3 (06:10):
That's her experience, right, So I'm not going to deny
her her experience. But I look at halle Berry, who
played a crackhead in Jungle Fever. I look at Charlie's Stroll,
who played a monster on the Oscar for It, Right,
So I think, if you're able to really have a
great makeup artist.

Speaker 1 (06:29):
You can be ugly, right, you know, I don't think free.

Speaker 2 (06:32):
It look like a completely differ. I was saying Gwyneth
Paltrow when she played in Shallow Holle and then yeah,
so you can look like somebody you know. But I
guess maybe she's saying in the auditions they can't visualize it.
You know what, you should go to the audition looking different.

Speaker 1 (06:46):
I was just about to make that done. Yeah, don't
get into it. Yes, don't get the fenty beats.

Speaker 3 (06:52):
You know what I'm saying, like, come in fresh face,
a nasty wig.

Speaker 2 (06:57):
There you go. Yeah, one of the wigs that is
making the distress wigs.

Speaker 1 (07:01):
Yeah, distress wigs.

Speaker 5 (07:04):
All right.

Speaker 2 (07:05):
And lastly, Mary J. Blige was on Sherry yesterday. Sherry
Show is back for a new season, and amongst the
things that she talked about, you know, she is going
on tour and she'll be on to with Neo and
Mario that's starting in January. Okay, right, but she also
has a new man. Here's what she had to say
about that.

Speaker 1 (07:23):
Well, it's go on.

Speaker 8 (07:23):
Well, because I'm doing well for myself. You know, I
feel good about me, like I look good to me.
I feel good to me, you know, And so I'm
embracing me. So when you embrace you, everything is embracing you.

Speaker 2 (07:38):
Oh, get sight of them, Mary Beth.

Speaker 3 (07:40):
Yeah's embracing you, Mary, Yeah, sure, my love buddy, come
on all.

Speaker 2 (07:47):
Right, Well, good for you, Mary day Blige. He's my
Capricorn's sister. And when we come back, we have about
last night. That's where we discussed what we did last night,
and you know what we got to talk about basketball wise?

Speaker 1 (07:57):
Real, Oh Lord, Jesus have mercy on my soul.

Speaker 2 (08:01):
And we have our own insight on that because we
were both at Jennifer and Christian's wedding in Paris. Yes,
and the cast was coming for Jennifer yesterday. But we'll
give you our side, all right. It's way up with Angela.
Ye about last night? Is next here's some day holiday night.

Speaker 4 (08:17):
So about last night, Yes, Esai went down last night.

Speaker 2 (08:24):
It's way up. I'm here, Carlos King is here? Who Carlos?
All right? So last night we know that the Basketball
Wives La Reunion was airing part one, and a lot
of what this was about was Jennifer and the concern
that her cast mats had about her marrying Christian and
we were at the wedding in.

Speaker 1 (08:45):
Paris, a fantastic wedding.

Speaker 2 (08:48):
Now, I will say there were some pivots that had
to be made because originally the wedding was set to
be at the Four Seasons, but then I think because
he had his issues where they weren't sure if he
would be able to come, they ended up not being
able to lock down the VENUECA. You don't want to
put money on a place, and then god, he can't
make it, and now you lose your deposit, right, and
so you know, they ended up getting married outside outdoors,
which I love an outdoor wedding. Yes, in the park.

Speaker 1 (09:11):
She looked gorgeous.

Speaker 2 (09:12):
That dress was amazing, amazing. Yeah, like five different dresses,
but the actual dress she got married and it wasn't white.
It was like a blush color, beauty of pink, blush color,
her favorite color. Pink. Now, last night on the reunion,
and I noticed none of the castmates were there, and
Evelyn speaks volumes.

Speaker 1 (09:31):
Why do you say that because they're not real friends?

Speaker 2 (09:35):
Oh all right, well let's hear what Evelyn had to
say at the reunion because she felt triggered by some
remarks that Jennifer had to make there was this whole
false imprisonment this well, this whole false imprisonment thing that
happened where he got charged and that's why he had
to pay restitution because I guess he wouldn't let the
woman he was dating at the time leave and she

(09:56):
ended up jumping off the balcony.

Speaker 6 (09:57):
Here's what was said, Christian was a of anything domestic.

Speaker 2 (10:01):
Can you tell me what he was actually convicted for?

Speaker 1 (10:04):
False imprisonment?

Speaker 2 (10:05):
It's triggering for me hearing those things.

Speaker 9 (10:07):
We had a conversation with her, and I just think
Jennifer was talking fast, but she said, you know, it
probably would have been better if she would have something
about a car crush.

Speaker 6 (10:15):
If you say, don't leave, let's work this out, that's
considered false imprisonment.

Speaker 1 (10:20):
I know he would have been better off just.

Speaker 6 (10:22):
Letting her go get in a car crash and whatever
happened to her. Well, yeah, because that's what his attorney said.

Speaker 2 (10:31):
So she's saying that, I guess for him, it would
have been better if he would have just let her
do that, because then he wouldn't have these charges.

Speaker 1 (10:37):
Yeah, So listen, I love Jen. Jen is my friend.

Speaker 3 (10:43):
My friendship with Jen and all my girls is predicated
on honesty.

Speaker 1 (10:47):
Because I'm honest with all of them. That wasn't a
great comment.

Speaker 3 (10:51):
You know, that was very distasteful, and I'm sure jen
can acknowledge that today, but at the time, I'm aware
she was trying to than her then fiance. But that
statement obviously is not great, all right. Now.

Speaker 2 (11:05):
Another thing that happened, and by the way, while she
was getting married, Evelyn posted when God gives you warning
scientists not to hurt you, but to protect you from
greater pain, and on her wedding day she said, when
you turn a deaf air to God's warnings, you might
find yourself walking into the very danger he was trying
to save you from.

Speaker 1 (11:21):
I don't like that, all right.

Speaker 2 (11:23):
Another thing that happened on the reunion yesterday was Brandy
and Jennifer were talking about, you know, they were tiptoeing
around the topic of Christian and her marriage. And here's
what was said.

Speaker 10 (11:35):
Honestly, I think we're tiptoeing around the subject with her
and Christian. And because we are cautious and gentle with Jennifer,
because we do love her and we don't want you
to be mad at us, they don't have to.

Speaker 6 (11:46):
Take around anything. Just like I don't have to agree
with your decision with you staying with Jason, you don't
have to agree with my decision.

Speaker 9 (11:53):
I never investigated him because I don't want this to
ruin my friendship with her.

Speaker 2 (12:00):
Because I love Jennifer.

Speaker 3 (12:03):
I don't know if posting a story on your girl's
wedding day shows you love them. I thought, listen, I
love Evelyn, She's a great reality star. I thought that
was very distasteful to do on that woman's wedding day.

Speaker 2 (12:19):
Well, listen, we're going to talk about this some more
when we come back, because you actually sat down and
did that exclusive interview with Jennifer and Christian, so you
had some inside scoops. But what would you do if
you felt like your friend shouldn't marry someone? What is
your responsibility and if you still go to this? Should
you still go to the wedding? Should you sit it out?
We want to see what you think. Eight hundred and
two nine two fifty one fifty call us up. It's

(12:41):
way up at Angelague.

Speaker 4 (12:43):
It's not just right or wrong. It's about what you believe.
It's time to pick a side and stay.

Speaker 2 (12:50):
There, all right, It's way up at Angela Gie and
I am here with the King of reality TV, Carlos King,
and we are talking about Basketball Wives La The Union
Part one was on last night and we know that
Jennifer and Christian got married in Paris. We were at
the wedding, had a great time and we had a time.
We went to Soho house. Maybe we went to Budabarnie.

(13:12):
I mean, you know, she got married. It was beautiful
in the park. We had a boat ride. Yeah, the
Hypel Tower in the background. But some people did not
show up for this wedding and the cast did not
feel like it was a good idea. So we are
going to pick a side. Now, what would you do
your friend is getting married and you don't think it's
a good idea, would you still attend?

Speaker 3 (13:31):
Absolutely, Because at the end of the day, my friendship
is not predicated on your decision making of a partner
you're choosing to be with.

Speaker 1 (13:41):
This is your life, right.

Speaker 3 (13:42):
My job as your friend is not to sleep with you,
is not to know that's not my Yeah, whoever you
decided to sleep with, that's your business. As your friend,
it is my job to show up and be honest
with you.

Speaker 1 (13:57):
And I felt like this a long, longcaust.

Speaker 3 (14:00):
We have a conversation and I express how I felt
and you received it.

Speaker 2 (14:06):
I'm showing God right, I agree with that. I think
that you can express yourself and not overdo it. Right,
you say it. Look, this is how I feel. I'm
not going to tell you every time I see you,
but I'm gonna just say it once just so you know.
And I've done this like three times in my life,
and I'm just gonna work out for a time. Yeah,
it's fine for me because I think that it's fair
to express yourself. But if you're going to keep saying

(14:26):
the same thing over and over again and they're still
doing what they're going to do, that's on them. That's
not on you. I can't tell you what decisions to
make in your life. If it's legal and you want
to do it, that's on you. If it doesn't work out,
I'll still be your friend, all right. Well, you guys,
pick aside. Your friend is getting married and you don't
want her to or him to, do you go to
the wedding carera pick aside?

Speaker 11 (14:46):
Heck though, no, why not? No none at all. I'm
gonna tell you why because I feel like going to
a wedding of my friends. That she's marrying somebody that
is not healthy for her, is only enabling the bad behavior,
company and toxicity. And if I truly love my friend,
I would stand on I love you and I'm always

(15:07):
here for you. However, I cannot support this because this
is not something that is healthy for you. Now, at
the end of it all, when he does break her
heart or if anything happen, I'm still going to be
there for my friend and hold her hand, but I'm
not going to enable staying in a toxic relationship, especially
marrying into that toxic relationship.

Speaker 2 (15:28):
Have you ever had your friends not like your man?

Speaker 11 (15:31):
Yes, As a matter of fact, I'm gonna be honest,
I'm going through that right now with my fiance. We
had a huge infidelity situation back in April, and my
friends and family are not supportive of who he is
in this very moment. But in the same way that
I would raise you know, we all act the same.

Speaker 2 (15:51):
You'll be okay with them not showing up.

Speaker 11 (15:54):
I'm gonna be honest, Yes, I am. That's one less
pay for me to pay for.

Speaker 7 (15:58):
My life.

Speaker 11 (15:59):
At the end of the day, it's my life. At
the end of the day, and nobody has to agree
with We don't all have to agree with what we do.
It's their life at the end of the day. That
doesn't mean I stopped being their friend. I just won't
be there at the wedding. I'll be at the reception.
I might even get to a wedding GIF later on,
but I'm not coming to the wedding to support the toxicity.
Absolutely not.

Speaker 2 (16:17):
But thank you for calling. And you definitely had a
strong opinion, so we appreciate that.

Speaker 11 (16:21):
No, I forcid you guys, thank you. Love me, Anthelis,
I love you?

Speaker 5 (16:25):
Hey, Amanda, Hi, how are you?

Speaker 2 (16:27):
I'm good?

Speaker 5 (16:28):
How are you good?

Speaker 2 (16:30):
So it's a man, Carlos. We want you to pick
a set. If your friend is getting married but you
don't agree, should you still go?

Speaker 12 (16:35):
It depends on the situation. Have you talked to this friend,
have you really, you know, expressed how you feel about
the situation. Like I've had an experience a few years ago.
I was actually a bridesmaid in a wedding and I
saw the way that her husband to be was treating her,
and I finally sat down and Harry told her, I
don't think you should do this. Caused a huge blowout

(16:56):
between the two of us, and I ended up not
going to the wedding and it was because of the
fight that we got into. And now I look at
their relationship and I'm like, they're still miserable. We have
a lot of mutual friends and all those red flags
that I saw are still there.

Speaker 1 (17:11):
Oh my, do you regret saying something?

Speaker 12 (17:14):
I regret thing some mean just now, I just lost
a friend out of it.

Speaker 2 (17:18):
Yes, that's what I was saying earlier. Right, you'll end
up losing a friend sometimes in that situation because sometimes
you got to just support people, even if it's not
the decision you would make right. If they're gonna do
it anyway, you don't want to isolate them from your life.
You want them to still feel like they could talk
to you without judgment. But you can't stop people from
doing things. Well, thank you for being honest with us.
We appreciated, Amanda, Thank you, Thank you all Right. See, now,

(17:42):
I don't know, it feels like it's a split decision there.
You should say something. Everybody has a different story, though,
and so you say something, right, say something, but you're
gonna still show up and support I'm.

Speaker 1 (17:52):
Gonna always say something, and I'm gonna always show up.

Speaker 2 (17:54):
Okay, all right, you could do both, you can do
both side, all right, well, come back, we have your yet, Carlos,
are you ready to talk about Diddy?

Speaker 7 (18:03):
No?

Speaker 1 (18:03):
Have you been to.

Speaker 2 (18:06):
Everybody? Everybody is weighing in on this Didney situation. When
I say, like, I've seen every person have something to
say about it. But we'll tell you what are some
of the updates that we have right now, because this
is something that you can't help but follow. Right, it's
way up at Angela ye yea. T is next the.

Speaker 4 (18:23):
Rooms from industry shade to all of gossip out angelus
feeling that yet.

Speaker 2 (18:30):
All right, it's way up at Angela yee. And I
am here with Carlos King today. I'm having a good time.

Speaker 1 (18:35):
I love being with you.

Speaker 2 (18:38):
And let's get into some yeet. First of all, congratulations
to Ebanie K. Williams. Yeah, she has welcomed a baby girl,
Liberty Alexandria Williams, and I pointed out.

Speaker 1 (18:48):
Law is the law, the initial soul. Long go here,
she said.

Speaker 2 (18:53):
Lady Liberty came to New York City in eighteen eighty six.
She came as a symbol of liberty and freedom two
decades after the America in Civil War. And she said,
while most people associate the monument with immigrants arriving at
the New York Harvard, this was a secondary narrative. The
French creators behind the statue originally wanted to honor the
newly emancipated and formally enslaved Africans, Black Americans, and so

(19:15):
there's always a deeper meaning with Ebony. Let me tell you,
yes it is, Yes it is. But congratulations to that
beautiful baby girl, beautiful healthy baby girls. All right, shout
out to you Ebony. All right, Diddy. They said his
streams have increased significantly amidst all of this news, right,
you would think it would be the opposite, But apparently
his streaming numbers have increased, and so have by the way,

(19:37):
also all of these old interviews that everybody's posting. They said,
there's about an eighteen percent increase in on demand streams
during the week of his arrest compared to the prior week. Now,
I saw a lot of people posting clips from previous
interviews that he did. One of them was where he
was saying on Entertainment Tonight that he would eventually get
arrested for partying so much. Here's what that sounded like.

Speaker 8 (20:01):
They're gonna have to accommodate me and him and give
us a quick trial.

Speaker 1 (20:06):
He's ready, he's focused. Nothing has changed from his perspective.

Speaker 2 (20:10):
Okay, that's the right clip, But that was a nineteen
ninety nine clip from Entertainment Tonight where he was saying
they're gonna end up arresting him. Here it is.

Speaker 13 (20:18):
They won't even give me a permit for the parties. Man,
they don't want me to throw the parties no more.
But we ain't gonna stop. We gonna keep on having fun,
bringing people together for mal Wilster's life. You're gonna hear
about my party.

Speaker 1 (20:27):
They're gonna be shutting them down.

Speaker 13 (20:28):
They're gonna probably be arrested me doing all types of
crazy things just because we want to have a good time.

Speaker 1 (20:34):
Ah pah.

Speaker 2 (20:35):
I know that didn't age well twenty five years ago.

Speaker 3 (20:37):
He said this, Oh, twenty five years ago, and he's
make it twenty five years that's insane.

Speaker 2 (20:44):
And his hearing, by the way, is schedule for October
ninth at two pm, and he's been placed on suicide
watch while being held at Brooklyn's Metropolitan Detention Center, and
I know they're trying to see if they can get
him moved somewhere.

Speaker 1 (20:57):
Out of bad jail.

Speaker 2 (20:59):
They're all bad, but I think that this has this
is a bad Send me to the good jail. But
they've been having issues. I remember they didn't have heat
at one point and really freezing inside. They didn't. It's
just a lot of issues there with how they treat people.

(21:19):
So yes, I'm sure he wants to get moved out
of there. Is that a bad jo.

Speaker 1 (21:25):
It's not like Rikers though, right.

Speaker 2 (21:27):
No, Rikers is like a holding facility, right, And so
I think a lot of the issues. And they're supposed
to be shutting Rikers down. The plan was for it
to shut down in twenty twenty seven and they're going
to build these smaller ones in each borough. But I
don't look like I don't think that's going to happen
in time now. Another thing, Meek Mill is on social
media because people keep on tying him into these rumors
with Diddy, and he said, I want to hire an

(21:48):
investigative team one hundred k cash to find out every
specific detail involving Meek mail named to Ditty case. I
also want them to look at who is powering the
media involving Meek. Anything to do with Buddy, something not right.
You want to know what's up. You know what's up
the streets, know what's up on me. That's not the case.
We're talking about business side, somebody powering these bad campaigns.
So he feels like people are powering a campaign to

(22:10):
tie his name into it. And then of course they
posted this clip.

Speaker 1 (22:14):
Man, you're doing a man serve daddy. You're putting it
in that work. I'm proud of you. I love you.

Speaker 2 (22:21):
Yeah. Then they posted the picture of them wearing matching
shirts and stuff like that.

Speaker 1 (22:26):
But yeah, I don't.

Speaker 3 (22:27):
I don't get called daddy unless I'm doing things to
someone else.

Speaker 1 (22:32):
Don't you know, daddy or daddy?

Speaker 2 (22:34):
What about big pop again?

Speaker 1 (22:37):
When you're doing things after midnight?

Speaker 2 (22:39):
You know what, I go around calling people daddy.

Speaker 1 (22:41):
I'm not calling about your dad. I don't call my
own father who's living that you got daddy?

Speaker 2 (22:46):
I don't call my dad daddy either.

Speaker 1 (22:47):
Yeah, so I'm not gonna call another grown ass man daddy.

Speaker 2 (22:50):
Who's your daddy?

Speaker 1 (22:53):
All right?

Speaker 2 (22:54):
When we come back, we have under the radar. These
are the stories that are like under the radar, but
you need to know about him. If you, dude, think
you block somebody on Twitter, guess again. All right, it's
way up at Angela yee.

Speaker 4 (23:04):
This in the news that relates to you. These stories
are flying under the radar.

Speaker 2 (23:09):
All right, it's way up at Angela yee. I'm here
and Carlos King is here with me, and it's time
for these under the radar stories. Now, did you know
that blocking users will soon be banned on x I
love blacking people. Yes, it's my America, right, I know,
and Elon muss at high time this happened. The block
function will block that account from engaging with but not

(23:29):
block seeing a public post. So I don't know about that.
You know. I've been big on muting people.

Speaker 3 (23:36):
See that's the thing. Do not unfollow anybody because it's
a fandom. So what I do people exposing myself. I
mute more people than you can imagine.

Speaker 2 (23:47):
Yeah, so many people are muted and I don't see anything.
You say one thing. Instead of blocking you, I'll just
mute you. Yes, I guess as long as the mute
button still works. Were good?

Speaker 1 (23:55):
Yes?

Speaker 2 (23:55):
All right, Now you're gonna like this story. I saw
this on Good Morning America. Did you know across the
nation there's more than twenty billion dollars that's waiting to
be reclaimed by citizens who may not even know that
they may be owed cash from unclaimed property. That's like
uncash paychecks, refunds, or deposits. And so it turns out,
and I've known this because I actually got some money.

(24:16):
It wasn't like a ton of money, but it's still nice, Angela.
It might have been a couple hundred dollars, but that
was a claim right. And so according to the National
Association of Unclaimed Property Administrators, one in seven Americans has
unclaimed property. And even if you checked in the past
and didn't have any, just check every year because you'll
be surprised. If there's some unclaimed cash that is sitting

(24:37):
there waiting for you. You can submit a free claim
and find out about it there, so you know, just
letting you guys know that you might have some money.

Speaker 1 (24:46):
That's ot I'm checking tonight.

Speaker 2 (24:48):
Yeah, I'm about to look right, a free ticket. And
if you're looking for like you could even have money
from a federal tax refund. You can go to the
IRS refunds pages too, But just make sure you do that.
Missing money dot com or unclaimed dot org. Those are
the websites you can go to save it. All right,
Well that is you're under the raider now.

Speaker 13 (25:08):
You know.

Speaker 2 (25:08):
We got the way it mixed at the top of
the hour, and Carlos King is live here today tomorrow too,
right tomorrow, all right, so when we come back, we'll
also be talking to him about all of his different
projects going on. I love that you have this Detroit
show too. Love and Mayor is not just Huntsville, but
you're in Detroit.

Speaker 1 (25:23):
I'm a Detroit baby, three one three, all right.

Speaker 2 (25:26):
It's way up with Angela Yee ways like.

Speaker 6 (25:29):
The tut like they Angela Jean like they Angela jee.

Speaker 4 (25:32):
Man, she's spilling it all this.

Speaker 14 (25:34):
Is yet well.

Speaker 2 (25:38):
All right, it's way up with Angela Yee and I
am here with Karl lows King from Kingdom Ring Entertainment,
the founder and CEO. Let's get into some ut you ready,
I'm ready baby?

Speaker 1 (25:48):
All right.

Speaker 2 (25:48):
Well, it turns out that Diddy at the New York
City jail that he's at MDC. He has now been
moved to a section of the jail with Sam Bateman freed.
That was the cryptocurrency frouster. According to sources, that's where
he's being held now. It's for people who require special protection,
according to sources familiar with the matter.

Speaker 1 (26:08):
Okay, so he's in the safer part of the prison.

Speaker 2 (26:12):
Right people who need more protection. And the unit, they
said it has eighteen to twenty inmates who have to
get that special protection, like high profile defendants to individuals
who cooperate with investigations. And it is considered general pop
in nature. But with added security.

Speaker 1 (26:30):
Do you think a lot of the men in prison
are going to try Diddy?

Speaker 2 (26:36):
Like yeah, they say that, And somebody who used to
work there said that that would give somebody stripes like if.

Speaker 1 (26:43):
They you know, like attack.

Speaker 2 (26:46):
Yeah, and that's why it's a dangerous situation for him
no matter what. But who knows. I mean, Diddy's a
high profile person. It could go either way. I watch
all those movies and all those reality shows to see
if you got to know how to move, Like.

Speaker 3 (26:59):
Yes, I didn't know about the gang culture until I
watched Sixty Days In and I was like, Oh, it's
all about like your affiliation, So.

Speaker 2 (27:09):
You know what I would say. Willow's book is out
right now and in his book. He talks about the
first time he went into jail and different things that
happened to him, and he was very open and honest
about things that happened. He even talks about one guy
in his book and it's very graphic, but he came
into jail and they were using him to transport drugs

(27:29):
from one side to the other and very graphically. Let's
just say, Oh, I don't even to talk about it.
You gotta read the book.

Speaker 1 (27:37):
But did he have to like put it someplace?

Speaker 2 (27:39):
Yes, he did, and he actually ended up dying because
somebody did something to him and violated him and it burst. Yeah,
that's what I'm saying. So you know, you got to
know how to But some things, if they tell you, hey,
would you like to We would like for you to
do this, you can't really say no. But then when
you do things and you have to keep on doing them.

Speaker 1 (27:59):
You know, keep your hands to yourself. People.

Speaker 2 (28:02):
All right, All right now, halle Berry, let's move on.
Halle Berry was on Jimmy Kim Alive and she talked
about the time that Prince asked her out on a
date and hopefully she still has this piece of paper.
Here's what she said.

Speaker 9 (28:15):
I was at one of his concerts and he had
somebody come out with a piece of paper and you
know what, kids, do you say?

Speaker 4 (28:21):
Do you like me?

Speaker 11 (28:22):
Yes?

Speaker 9 (28:23):
Or no?

Speaker 1 (28:24):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (28:26):
Yes?

Speaker 1 (28:26):
Came back out again? Would you go out with me?
And did you check one of the boxes? No? I
did nunderstand the paper back?

Speaker 14 (28:33):
You kept the paper?

Speaker 1 (28:35):
Can I have it?

Speaker 2 (28:37):
I wonder why she didn't go.

Speaker 1 (28:39):
I know, like that's pre.

Speaker 2 (28:40):
Prince of anything. We had a jam.

Speaker 1 (28:42):
Session, yes, and he got he baby.

Speaker 2 (28:45):
He has the baddest women, the baddest vanity appollonia.

Speaker 1 (28:50):
And his ex wife is it?

Speaker 2 (28:54):
Yeah, yes he is. And then he had Sheila as
part of his band. I mean that was amazing. She
made me want to be a drummer when I was younger.

Speaker 3 (29:01):
Well, I'm really single, Angela. So do I need to
write a note to somebody and say do you like me?

Speaker 1 (29:07):
Check yes or no?

Speaker 2 (29:08):
And hopefully they send the note back.

Speaker 1 (29:12):
I want to notorise you guys heard.

Speaker 2 (29:14):
Slid into them DMS Carlos King is no single?

Speaker 11 (29:18):
All right?

Speaker 2 (29:18):
Well that is your yet and when we come back
we have asked yee, eight hundred and two ninety two
fifty one fifty is a number we are here to
give you some advice. Me and the legendary Carlos King.
It's way up at Angela. Yee. You vap it way
up with Angela yee. More. Now, what's up? It's way
up at Angela.

Speaker 15 (29:37):
Ye.

Speaker 2 (29:37):
I'm here with Carlos King and we have some breaking news.

Speaker 7 (29:43):
Now.

Speaker 2 (29:43):
According to GMC, there is another woman who is now
filing a lawsuit against Diddy, and according to this report,
Didy and a friend who was his head of security,
Joseph Sherman, violently raped her back in two thousand and one. Allegedly.
These are new legal documents obtained by TMD. Carlos you
saw the story, Yes, it's a lot. She said she

(30:06):
was twenty five years old and dating one of Ditty's employees,
and he lured her into a meeting with him and
Sherman alone, where she says they sequested her, gave her
a drink likely laced with a drug, and she briefly
lost consciousness and woke up and found herself bound and restrained,
being brutally sexually abused and violated, being mercilessly raped. And
I don't even want to go into even more details,

(30:27):
and that it's awful when you read it, but she
said she thought about killing herself and got extensive psychological
treatment as a result of this alleged rape, and she
never reported it because she was scared that they would
ruin her life. I know a lot of people are like,
why didn't you say it at the time, but she
was scared that they would do something to her. And
back in November of twenty twenty three, her wounds were
reopened because she learned for the first time that Ditty

(30:50):
and Sherman had video recorded her horrific rape and was
showing it to people to humiliate her and her boyfriend
and degrade her. And she said, the very thought of
that video being out there us to again consider ending
her life.

Speaker 3 (31:02):
Listen, this is all beyond sad, and Mahart goes out
to the victims. It goes to show you that this
isn't going to stop. Like there there's going to be
more lawsuits.

Speaker 2 (31:15):
Especially when you know there was a lot. You know,
from what we're hearing, there's so much.

Speaker 1 (31:19):
Yeah, it's it's it's so sad, it really is.

Speaker 2 (31:22):
All right, Well, we'll keep you guys updated, but when
we come back, we'll be talking to Carlos King. He
is the king of reality TV. We'll talk about all
the shows that you're in the middle of filming right
now and everything else that you have going on, because
you also have your own talk show, all right, And
we also have asked Yee on the way eight hundred
two nine to fifty one fifty its.

Speaker 4 (31:40):
Way up since with its relationship with Korean Advice Angela's
dropping facts.

Speaker 2 (31:47):
This is aske what's up? Hiss way up at Angela? Yee,
I'm here and Carlos King is here.

Speaker 1 (31:51):
Hey, hello, and it's time.

Speaker 2 (31:53):
To ask you. That's when our listeners call in and
ask for advice from us based on our own life experiences,
and we Devon on the line. What's up, Devon?

Speaker 14 (32:02):
Hi Ye? How are you?

Speaker 2 (32:04):
I'm good? How are you?

Speaker 14 (32:06):
I'm going through it. I need your help?

Speaker 2 (32:08):
All right, Well, you're lucky. It's me and Carlos today.

Speaker 1 (32:10):
Let's go cars. How's it going.

Speaker 10 (32:13):
So?

Speaker 7 (32:14):
I moved into this spot about a year and a
half ago. Great people love where I'm living. It's a
safe life environment. But the refrigerator was busted. My stuff
was cold. The freezer wasn't the best. I kept my
stuff like. I got a separate freezer for this situation.
Now the fridge is completely not working, and my roommates

(32:35):
are like, well, you need to pitch in, even though
it was busted when I moved in. I don't think
it's fair. I don't want to pay like it was
like that when I moved in. I got my own accommodations.
I shouldn't have to pay like, am I in the wrong.

Speaker 1 (32:47):
I mean, I don't think you're in there. I want
to pay.

Speaker 2 (32:50):
How much is it? Let's weigh this out here. How much?
How much is the fridge because.

Speaker 14 (32:55):
They need a full new refrigerator. It's twenty five hundred dollars.

Speaker 2 (32:58):
No, I would say, that is not part of my responsibility.
You know what I would do. I would say, why
don't we break it down proportionately by how long I've
been living here and then just figure it out from
that way. So let's say I've been here for three months,
you've been here for two years, So I will pay
one eighth of what the cost would be from my portion.

Speaker 1 (33:18):
Negotiate. That's yes, that's what I was going to do.

Speaker 7 (33:21):
I said, like, I'll put in like twenty five fifty,
like I'll help with the labor.

Speaker 14 (33:24):
I'll you know, put in for this. Yeah, I don't
want to split.

Speaker 2 (33:27):
This like, yeah, that's not there. That's like if you
come to eat and you come to dinner, everybody done
had dinner, drinks and everything, and then they and you
have one drink and they want you to help pay
the cost for the whole meal.

Speaker 1 (33:38):
That you analogy.

Speaker 7 (33:39):
Yes, yeah, I just had some tips exactly, and I
my family was saying one way, but then a couple
of my friends just want me to take the high road.

Speaker 14 (33:46):
But I said, this is bigger than that, Like, this
is money.

Speaker 2 (33:49):
And I also think setting a standard too for people
you live with, don't get taken advantage of. You know
what I'm saying, because you guys all have to live together.
And I think if there's a way to discuss this
in a practical man are Like, listen, guys, it already
was a bit of money for me to move in here.
I've only been here for X amount of time. It
already wasn't working. I'm willing to put something in, but
I'm not willing to split the cost evenly between.

Speaker 14 (34:11):
Us equally exactly.

Speaker 2 (34:13):
And I think that's a nice compromise.

Speaker 3 (34:15):
Yeah, so give a little something to something, okay, but
not the whole thing.

Speaker 7 (34:19):
Okay, I won't give the whole thing, but thank you
so much. I appreciate it.

Speaker 2 (34:23):
Okay, good luck, fine, good luck. Yes see, then you
go compromise.

Speaker 4 (34:29):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (34:29):
Look, I think the analogy of we have a group
dinner and four to one advertiser and then there you go.

Speaker 2 (34:36):
All right, well that was ask ye thank you for
that advice.

Speaker 1 (34:39):
That was cool, that was good.

Speaker 2 (34:40):
And when we come back all things, Carlos King, this
is gonna be fun. So I get to actually interview you.

Speaker 1 (34:46):
Oh, I'm in the hot seat.

Speaker 2 (34:47):
You're in the hot seat about everything you have going
on right now, and so we're gonna love that, all right,
eight hundred and nine fifty one fifty. You can also
leave a message because Carlos is coming back tomorrow, so
if there's any questions you want to ask him, leave
it there and we'll we'll put it on tomorrow. It's
way up with Angela yee.

Speaker 1 (35:02):
Everybody, ye ye yee. But you all being waiting, folks
in the way up with Angela yee.

Speaker 2 (35:11):
All right, it's way up with Angela yee. I'm here
and Carlos King is here. Carlos, I'm so excited that
you're here today. But most importantly, we haven't had a
chance to really talk about you yet and everything that
you've had going on, and we definitely wanted to have
you on and give you your flowers just because of
being producing so many amazing shows right now. Love and
Marriage Detroit is on, yes, currently, what is this season two?

Speaker 1 (35:33):
Season two?

Speaker 2 (35:34):
Okay? All right? And then you also obviously did Love
and Marriage Huntsville, which was a runaway hit from the beginning.

Speaker 3 (35:40):
Girl Off the Gay still the number one show on
the Oprah went from network.

Speaker 1 (35:44):
Oh wow, crazy.

Speaker 2 (35:46):
Why do you think people took to that so much?
I know there was a lot of drama.

Speaker 3 (35:49):
You know, Listen, the show started off with these beautiful
couples having a.

Speaker 1 (35:55):
Beautiful nightmare of issues.

Speaker 3 (35:57):
One of them in particularly, we're dealing with fidelities, and
that affair really drew a lot of attention to the show.
And besides that, it's an amazing cast of like real
life stories, real life situations, and the fans cannot get.

Speaker 14 (36:18):
Enough of it.

Speaker 2 (36:18):
What made you pick Huntsville because that's the first time
and I went to Huntsville once for the first time,
and all I thought it was love and marriag Huntsville.

Speaker 3 (36:24):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, No, we definitely put the city
on the map. I fell in love with Melody Martell,
who were married at the time, and they introduced me
to the other couples on the show, The Scots, and
I think people were just like into what they were
going on with the community, you know, rebuilding homes, and

(36:44):
I just love the fact that I get to put
a different city on the map that nobody heard of.

Speaker 1 (36:49):
Honestly, I like that. Yeah, some hospitals where it's at now.

Speaker 2 (36:53):
Now, I want to ask you this because you also
have hosted reunion shows. You have your own show as well,
which I think is is really really good because people
trust you, yes, with their information, but they do. Could
you see yourself in front of the cameras maybe on
a reality show?

Speaker 3 (37:11):
See listen. I could never give my personal life in
front of the camera. Okay, I'm way too private of
a person. So me hosting reunions and my own podcast,
Reality with the King, I love doing that. Okay, so
being on camera for that, yes, y'all see who I'm
dating and all that stuff.

Speaker 2 (37:32):
No, no, because you are newly single, Carlos King t
anybody have any please hit me up. Because I want
to know because he's back tomorrow and I feel like we.

Speaker 1 (37:42):
Can get everything look warm.

Speaker 2 (37:45):
All I did was work all right, and you know
a lot of other things that you have going on.
You know, we were both in Paris and you've done
wedding specials before too, and produced those. How is that
different from doing like a reality show because there's so
much that's that goes on behind the scenes. There's Bridezilla's
Oh yeah, no.

Speaker 3 (38:04):
Wedding specials are very difficult to do because it's a
ticking clock of just like madness happening, and obviously the
bride is going through the most important day of her life, right,
So it's a lot of drama that happens behind the
scenes because you're trying to like make everything happen. It's

(38:25):
a pressure cooker environment. So that's why being at Gin's wedding,
I'm like.

Speaker 2 (38:30):
You were like producing things now I know because originally
that was going to be a special. Is it still
going to be a wedding special? Because I know that
it had been talked about.

Speaker 1 (38:41):
Yeah, I know they talked about it.

Speaker 3 (38:43):
I'm not sure, but because you know, with Jen, there's
tons of surprises.

Speaker 1 (38:47):
But I was at work bone outside.

Speaker 2 (38:50):
I was like, is he producing this? Because you were like, Okay,
move here, do this, do that, that's what you naturally do. Well,
we have more when Carlos King when we come back,
because I know there are different people in this space,
but I want to hear more about your backstory and
how you got to where you are today because it's
not an easy space to be in. You are nominated
for an Emmy. Yeah, so that's why you're in town

(39:10):
and we'll discuss all of that. Is way up.

Speaker 1 (39:12):
It's way up with Angela. Let's go.

Speaker 2 (39:15):
You are a media maven, right.

Speaker 15 (39:17):
You never know what Angie's going to say.

Speaker 2 (39:20):
All right, it's way up with Angela yee. And I'm
here and I'm here with Carlos King and you never
know what he's going to say either.

Speaker 1 (39:25):
Well, we have that a common love.

Speaker 2 (39:28):
But we were just discussing how you are here in
town because you're an Emmy nominated producer.

Speaker 1 (39:33):
Thank you.

Speaker 2 (39:34):
And so that is for The Stroll, right, Yeah.

Speaker 3 (39:37):
So it's a documentary that my company produced called The Stroll.
It's about the black sex trans black trans sex workers
back in the eighties during the meatpacking district era. So
we are nominated for Best Documentary.

Speaker 2 (39:53):
You know what's crazy? I remember that era quite well.

Speaker 1 (39:56):
Yeah, oh yeah, because you weren't here, that's.

Speaker 2 (39:58):
Right here, Yeah, because I'm from New York, right, And
remember in Sex and the City there were a certain
period of time when they live there. But I remember
for us, like even growing up, the meatpack condition was
so different than what it is. Yeah, that was very
like trendy.

Speaker 1 (40:13):
All hunt is bougie. They got a banana Republic.

Speaker 3 (40:17):
If you got there, there's animal public anywhere, it's bougie.

Speaker 2 (40:22):
Baby, all right, and then you also have reality with
the King.

Speaker 4 (40:25):
Now.

Speaker 2 (40:25):
I want to ask you this because sometimes for people
who are in the line of worth that you are,
it's hard to befriend people because you know, every now
and then, you got to be honest, You got to
tell the truth. You have to be impartial. How are
you when it comes to saying like this is my friend,
like you and doctor Heavenly Yes are good friends. And
then there's certain people that I see you with quite
a bit on you know, on your podcast yeah as well.

(40:46):
But how does that work for you? Because I know
people who will say I can't have friends in this
business because then there's gonna be times that we're gonna
have issues and bump heads.

Speaker 1 (40:54):
No, that's a great question.

Speaker 3 (40:55):
So reality with the King a podcast is a safe space, right,
So I do and bite my friends who want to
be able to share their story. And the beauty of
my friendships is what you see on my podcast with
me asking tough questions.

Speaker 1 (41:10):
I do that in my real life. Right.

Speaker 3 (41:12):
If you're my friend, I'm going to ask you tough
questions with or without the camera. And that's why my
guests are like, no, this is who he is and
we know that he's not being malicious. So it has
an interfere with my friendships at all.

Speaker 2 (41:28):
Now recently, most recently, you did interview Jennifer and Christian
goals and people were like, he's asking everything that I
wanted to know. How did they feel afterward?

Speaker 1 (41:39):
Loved it? Listen.

Speaker 3 (41:41):
I love Jennifer Williams. She's been my friend for over
ten years. I recently met Christian. I love him too.
They appreciated the fact that I gave Christian the opportunity
to be able to tell his story and his side
of the story because a lot of people were telling
his story for him. So at the wedding, his mother

(42:03):
came up to me in tears and was like, thank
you so much for giving my son the opportunity to
be himself. Because at the end of the day, there's
so much conversation going around Jennifer and Christian that I
wanted my friend Jennifer to know that you have somebody
on your side, in your corner that really just wants
you to have a floor to address everything.

Speaker 2 (42:23):
And when I spoke to her, she was like, my
interview with Carlos King is going to come out. We
both went up there, so everybody will see all the
real information. Yes, when that comes out. Now, say, for instance,
you're cool with Tamar, I am, and then there's JR.

Speaker 1 (42:36):
Yes, and so.

Speaker 2 (42:38):
You interview him, you interview her, uh huh. So when
you're interviewing him, do you give her a heads up,
like just so you know Jeremy's coming on. I don't
want to be caught off guard.

Speaker 3 (42:46):
You asked some really good questions, Angela yee, yes, yes.

Speaker 1 (42:56):
I yes, I yes. I gave her hits up. I did, okay,
cause she's listen. Tamar Braxton is literally my friend, right
and I also love JR.

Speaker 3 (43:10):
Okay, So for me, when I have the opportunity to
interview JR. Tamar was definitely aware of it. She did
not like turn on the tube. It was like, I
was just with you.

Speaker 1 (43:20):
You also just wear Carlos kids.

Speaker 3 (43:22):
So no, I gave her hits up because I really
do appreciate my relationships and I'm not going to ruin
them by not being upfront.

Speaker 2 (43:33):
All right, Well, listen, Carlos King is going to be
here tomorrow. There's so many more things I need to
ask you, and we'll get into that job.

Speaker 1 (43:38):
Scared of you, Angela girl, but when we.

glad we made it happen. I feel like part of
it was, you know, we were hanging out in Paris
and you were like, all right, maybe it's not so bad.

for me.

Speaker 2 (44:33):

let him know that you are praying for him to
get this Emmy. But you'll be back tomorrow. Yes, I
