Speaker 2 (00:52):
That's a shame.
Speaker 4 (00:54):
That's a stereotype.
Speaker 2 (00:55):
I know, but I just never figured it out, all right.
Speaker 3 (00:57):

shine a light on.
Speaker 4 (01:39):
All right, It's way up at Angela.
Speaker 2 (01:40):
Yee.
Speaker 3 (01:40):
I'm here with my guy. I came with boo ooh,
thinks is going left? And today I want to shine
a light on somebody who I know personally. Valve Borland
now she it has just been uh named as the
President of Entertainment at NBC Universal Spincom. She'll be overseeing
programming for cable networks, which include USA Network, Oxygen E,
(02:01):
Sci Fi and Golf Channel as they as comcasts owned
company spins off these assets into their own entity. She's
also overseen acquiring content for NBC, the cable Networks, and Peacock,
and she also was credited with the acquisition of the
streaming rights to Yellowstone and the deal for the John
(02:21):
Wick prequel, The Continental. I want to shout out to
her because she's a black woman that's been that's got
this position, not a DEI hire, She's somebody who deserves it. Yes,
she also was the senior vice president of Programming at
Comedy Central prior to this, and she also was the
head of programming and production at Revolt.
Speaker 4 (02:42):
That's how we actually know her.
Speaker 2 (02:44):
That's amazing.
Speaker 3 (02:44):
So shout out to val Bor lancying where she's landed. Now,
all right, afraid of who do you want to shine
a light on?
Speaker 9 (02:50):
I wanted to give a shout out to my mom.
She's been listening to you for real long time in
the breakfast club for a real long time.
Speaker 2 (02:57):
That comes out by before you.
Speaker 9 (02:59):
She's like, angels my right, and you know, I just
wanted to do that for her.
Speaker 2 (03:03):
What's her name, Toy p oy O?
Speaker 4 (03:06):
Hey Toy.
Speaker 3 (03:07):
First of all, we love you, thank you for being
a loyal friend of ours. We appreciate you, and you
are a light.
Speaker 2 (03:14):
Yeah she is, well, thank you for calling, thank you
for being off Angela.
Speaker 4 (03:19):
All right, I appreciate you.
Speaker 2 (03:21):
Of course.
Speaker 3 (03:22):
That was Shina Light eight hundred and two ninety two
fifty one fifty in case you couldn't get through. And
when we come back, we have your yeat and Diddy
is now suing. He's the person suing for fifty million dollars.
We'll tell you what that's all about. Lord, it's way up.
Speaker 10 (03:37):
She's like to talk like they Angela Jean, like they
Angela jee Man.
Speaker 8 (03:41):
She's spilling it all. This is yeaky, way up.
Speaker 4 (03:47):
It's way up at Angela Yee. I'm here with my
guy a keen win.
Speaker 2 (03:50):
What's up, guys, and.
Speaker 4 (03:51):
Let's get into this yet.
Speaker 3 (03:52):
So Asap Rocky his trial, Oh my goodness, Reverend Al
Sharpton is calling out the lack of black yours and
he said it's been brought to my attention by the
National Action Network Los Angeles office that out of one
hundred and six people called to potentially sit as jurors
in Asap Rocky's child in LA, there are only four
black people.
Speaker 4 (04:12):
Oh yeah, that's.
Speaker 2 (04:14):
That's supposedly it's supposally a duror of your pears.
Speaker 3 (04:17):
It's definitely not. I want to reiterate. That's why it's
important when you get called to do jury duty that
you do it.
Speaker 2 (04:22):
Oh yeah, that's good point, right, because I have not
been doing it. But that's not the point.
Speaker 3 (04:26):
And this is our stemming from an incident that happened
in twenty twenty one. He's accused of firing a semi
automatic weapon during an alleged dispute with his former friend
asap Relly. They're saying one of the childs graized his hand,
leading to two felony assault charges. He could get up
to twenty four years if convicted. He is denying it,
and he did not take a plea deal, and they're
saying the case is fundamentally weak. There's a lack of
(04:48):
forensic evidence linking him to the shooting. Also the gun,
because there's a video of him with a gun. They're
saying that was a prop gun.
Speaker 2 (04:54):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (04:55):
So you know, the thing about what's happening with the
trial is that it all does kind of rest on
what people belie think.
Speaker 5 (05:04):
Yeah, and if you only have four black jurors out
of one hundred, that's crazy, right to choose found Yeah,
that's crazy all right.
Speaker 8 (05:10):
Now.
Speaker 3 (05:10):
Ditty is filing a fifty million dollar defamation lawsuit against
grand jury witness Courtney Burgess over what he says are
a series of false and defamatory statements. They also name
his lawyer, Ariel Mitchell and Next Star, the parent company
of News Nation. They're saying these parties deliberately fabricated accusations
(05:30):
against him and broadcast them without due diligence.
Speaker 2 (05:33):
He he and jail.
Speaker 3 (05:34):
Yes, he is in Brooklyn. Here's what Courtney Burges had
to say that Diddy is disputing.
Speaker 1 (05:41):
Out of the eight celebrities who were recorded having intimate
relations with Sean Colmbs, how many of them appear to
be either inebriated or intoxicated or into the influce all
of them? Out of those eight, how many appear to
be potentially victimized all? And of the eight, how many
seemed to be potentially miners?
Speaker 2 (06:03):
Two to three?
Speaker 3 (06:05):
All Right, So, Courtney Burgess has said in various interviews
he was in possession of videos of Diddy committing sexual
assault against other celebrities, including miners, and also that Kim
Porter provided him with a copy of her memoir and
videos of him sexually assaulting celebrities and children, and that
he also had a picture of Justin Bieber kissing an
unidentified mail Ooh, and now Diddy's lawsuit says that he
(06:26):
repeated these false claims many times to anyone who would listen,
including reporters for major news outlets, which recklessly repeated and
amplified his lies as if they were true.
Speaker 2 (06:36):
I mean, all he has to do is but hey, here,
they are.
Speaker 3 (06:40):
Right because he did have to turn over all the
drives and everything he had, so you're right. Yeah, if
he did have them, then it's not false. But if
he doesn't, I think he has them all right, well
that is you're easy. When we come back about last night,
that's where we discussed what we did last night. I
know you're getting ready for a show two nights.
Speaker 2 (06:58):
I do have a show tonight.
Speaker 3 (06:59):
I just came from Good Day New York. But I'm
gonna also tell you, guys what I was watching last night.
Speaker 8 (07:04):
It's way up, So about last night. I went down.
Speaker 3 (07:11):
Last night, way up at the angela yea a keen
Wood's guest hosting what'd you do last night?
Speaker 2 (07:17):
What did I do last night? I didn't do anything really?
Speaker 4 (07:19):
Oh good, you need that.
Speaker 2 (07:21):
It was it's freezing.
Speaker 4 (07:22):
I did not want someone polar vortext almost over.
Speaker 5 (07:25):
I don't know, but someone hit me up. You take
you're trying to come over. I'm like, girl, now are
you and neither one of Yeah, we just signed our
little apartment.
Speaker 4 (07:34):
Well, let me see. Yesterday I was watching Wags to Riches.
Speaker 3 (07:39):
On Netflix. You know, I got to get into the
show to kind of see what's going on here. I'm
making you watch it now.
Speaker 2 (07:46):
Is it just one season?
Speaker 3 (07:47):
Oh yeah, it just started Okay. So I did that,
and then I also was I had to get up
super early.
Speaker 4 (07:52):
Today.
Speaker 3 (07:52):
I did Good Day New York with my girl coach
Jesse from the Detox now, so we're launching a new
DETAC system. So listen, I did this detox with her
before and she's actually going to be joining us today also.
And you had to take like all these different supplements
three times a day. So she has now simplified this
system and it's all FDA approved okay, and now you
(08:14):
only have to do it one today, So that's a
big is a friend.
Speaker 2 (08:17):
You take one today.
Speaker 3 (08:18):
It's a supplement, so it's like drops that you can
put under your tongue, okay stuff. And then she does
have a multi vitamin. So but you know, I think
it's important that we all make sure we're getting the
nutrients that we need and to make sure that you
also test for that because I found out my cholesterol
was high a long time ago, just because I went
and did my blood test to see and if you
don't find those things out early, you don't know what I.
Speaker 2 (08:40):
Found out my high because I was this is too
much information.
Speaker 5 (08:44):
I was looking up when the guy and we were
doing like this doctor role play thing, but he was
an actual doctor. Okay, play doctor with an He was like,
he was like, oh you something was high and I
was like, in my head, I'm like, is this part
of the cake. He's like, no, no, you should probably.
Speaker 2 (08:58):
Get I'm like, oh no. So that I went to
see like an yeah. I was like, well this isn't
get get off, and then I went to get get
like blood work done, like oh no. He was right,
I do.
Speaker 4 (09:09):
But it's good to know because you can't control it.
Speaker 3 (09:12):
You don't take care of it right away, then you
can be on medication the rest of your life.
Speaker 4 (09:16):
You have to take things every day.
Speaker 2 (09:17):
So shout out to that guy who I can't say
his name.
Speaker 4 (09:19):
Okay, well thank you doctor. So the moral of the
story is roleplay.
Speaker 3 (09:24):
But with a doctor exactly. We'll play with someone who
can play the real doctor. Somebody that's useful. Ye all right,
Well I want to do this since we kind of
brought up role play and you know, being together and
being in separate homes and not wanting to leave because
it's too cold.
Speaker 2 (09:39):
It's too cold.
Speaker 4 (09:39):
Oh man. We saw Cheryl Underwood was on Club Shah.
Speaker 3 (09:42):
She's so funny and one thing that she talked about,
and she talked about a lot of different things, but
one thing that she discussed was women should not live
with men before marriage.
Speaker 2 (09:53):
Here's what she said.
Speaker 6 (09:54):
I want you to live in your own separate house
and I live in my own superate house until you
make a decision that I'm worthy to be your wife.
You can live right next though I don't care we'd
be monogamous toward each other because I want to be
able to trust you and you trust me.
Speaker 2 (10:08):
You can't hand no key to myself.
Speaker 11 (10:12):
She said.
Speaker 3 (10:13):
Listen, some people feel like I want to live with
somebody before I decide I want to marry them, and
see what that.
Speaker 5 (10:18):
I agree with you, But I think sure based off
the whole interview because I watched most of them, I'm like,
I have like maybe thirty forty minutes left.
Speaker 2 (10:25):
But she's very old.
Speaker 5 (10:26):
School everything like educational. Yes, it's very old school traditional,
which I don't think is a problem. I just think
that's the sweat, that's who she is.
Speaker 3 (10:33):
Yeah, all right, But what do you guys think about
living together before marriage? You know they call that living
in sin Ooh I'm gay, so I'm already living in
the same Yes, exactly. Eight hundred two nine fifty one
fifty pick aside. Do you think you should live together
before a marriage or do you think that is taboo?
Do not live with that man before he decides to
put a ring on it? Eight hundred two ninety two
fifty one fifty callers have picked aside?
Speaker 7 (10:54):
Way you up with Angela? Ye, it's not just right
or wrong about what you believe. It's time to pick
aside and stay there.
Speaker 4 (11:04):
It's way up at Angela. Yee, I'm here with that.
Speaker 8 (11:06):
Keen Woods, what's up, booze?
Speaker 4 (11:08):
Why you so excited?
Speaker 8 (11:11):
Now?
Speaker 4 (11:11):
We were talking about Cheryl Underwood. She's on Club Sha Shay.
Speaker 2 (11:14):
So funny.
Speaker 3 (11:14):
You had a chance to watch a lot of the
interview already. Yeah, I love Cheryl Underwood.
Speaker 2 (11:19):
She's so funny. It's such a funny interview.
Speaker 4 (11:21):
All right.
Speaker 3 (11:21):
Well, one of the things that she talked about and
I saw this being posted, was the fact that she
does not think couples should live together before marriage.
Speaker 2 (11:29):
Here's what she said.
Speaker 6 (11:31):
I want you to live in your own super house
and I live in my own supper house until you
make a decision that I'm worthy to be your wife.
Speaker 2 (11:39):
All right.
Speaker 4 (11:39):
Now, what do you think about living together before marriage?
Speaker 12 (11:42):
Is it a no?
Speaker 5 (11:44):
I think you should. Yeah, but also I'm marrying a man,
so you do want to get married. I'm against it,
but I'm I'm indifferent. If I get married, great, If.
Speaker 4 (11:53):
Not, Chum's probably not gonna let that.
Speaker 2 (11:55):
I mean, listen, Yeah, in.
Speaker 5 (11:56):
A few years, I'm not gonna be gainy, more guard
I'm gonna be married a woman, all right.
Speaker 4 (12:01):
Well for myself, you know, I will. I will say that.
Speaker 3 (12:06):
Statistically, they do say marriages last longer if you don't
live together first. But it's really difficult, especially if you
are both working all the time.
Speaker 4 (12:14):
How do y'all see each other? You end up being
at the other person's house all the time.
Speaker 2 (12:17):
They should live together immediately, but I think after a.
Speaker 3 (12:20):
Little time, if you know this is my person, because
you also have to think about your exit strategy. Just
in case it doesn't work out, you want to make
sure this is somebody that one day I could see
myself marrying before you move in together.
Speaker 4 (12:31):
Yeah, I can't just be roomy.
Speaker 2 (12:32):
Yeah, you got to try the ice cream before you
buy the cow or whatever.
Speaker 4 (12:36):
The milk, not the ice cream. But ice cream sounds good.
Speaker 2 (12:38):
Yeah, I seems better in because cows mak ice cream too.
Speaker 3 (12:41):
Okay, you're right, there's a process. All right, Well, we
want to see what you guys think. So I think
both of us are saying, yes, live together before. We're
saying all right, well, let's see what you guys think.
Eight hundred two ninety two fifty one fifty brazen. Do
you think you guys should live together before marriage?
Speaker 9 (12:57):
It's a hard No, I'm already doing it and there's
not work. Why not, because then you you really learned
the person what person is once you live with them,
and if you're not already interestinct, you start learning people
and you start developing these feelings of you know, resentment
or whatever. You don't really know the person. So it's
best to maintain your own apartmental your houses or whatever
(13:19):
and then link later.
Speaker 4 (13:21):
But what happens if you get married and then find
those things out.
Speaker 9 (13:26):
I believe if you get married, you spent a couple
of couple of wild months, a couple of time getting
a noticed person already. I don't think you should get
married a monk. So if you're married this person, you're
quite comfortable with.
Speaker 4 (13:35):
You Okay, you already know? Did you wait so fast?
Speaker 2 (13:38):
Did you move in?
Speaker 8 (13:39):
You?
Speaker 9 (13:40):
Come on?
Speaker 2 (13:40):
Let's oh girl, listen. They met the one day, they
moved in the next day.
Speaker 11 (13:44):
I know.
Speaker 2 (13:47):
Lesbian. Yeah, girl, listen, I get it. Yeah, I agree
for lesbian is. Y'allso wait a few years to move
in because y'all.
Speaker 9 (13:56):
Be definitely should Wait.
Speaker 4 (13:58):
How are you going to get out?
Speaker 11 (13:58):
Now?
Speaker 9 (13:59):
I'm fighting right now?
Speaker 11 (14:00):
You don't know.
Speaker 9 (14:01):
I'm going through it, Angley, I'm going through.
Speaker 4 (14:03):
It all right. Well, good luck.
Speaker 2 (14:04):
That's the luck to your baby.
Speaker 4 (14:05):
Thank you, bless hey, smooth?
Speaker 2 (14:07):
What's up?
Speaker 4 (14:10):
What's going on?
Speaker 11 (14:10):
So?
Speaker 3 (14:11):
What do you think should you live together before marriage?
Or is that a terrible idea?
Speaker 2 (14:15):
You feel like you.
Speaker 9 (14:16):
Should live together before you marriage because you don't know
that person. People show another side of themself and you've
never seen it before since you start living with.
Speaker 2 (14:25):
Them, how soon do you think you'sed to live with them.
Speaker 9 (14:27):
You should be with the two.
Speaker 4 (14:30):
Okay, do you live with anybody?
Speaker 12 (14:32):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (14:32):
I know.
Speaker 4 (14:33):
Are you getting married?
Speaker 9 (14:34):
Oh yeah, I'm getting married.
Speaker 4 (14:36):
Okay, all righty well, thank you.
Speaker 7 (14:38):
Oh you're no problem.
Speaker 9 (14:39):
Hey, jad, Hey, how you doing good?
Speaker 4 (14:41):
How are you?
Speaker 8 (14:42):
It's me and IKEM love you, love you, listen to
you every morning.
Speaker 4 (14:46):
Thank you.
Speaker 3 (14:47):
So what do you think about living together before marriage?
Speaker 4 (14:49):
Is it a yes or no?
Speaker 9 (14:51):
Absolutely?
Speaker 2 (14:51):
You have to.
Speaker 9 (14:52):
You have to see how people live before you get
with him.
Speaker 12 (14:54):
You got to.
Speaker 9 (14:55):
I've been married twenty two years.
Speaker 2 (14:56):
I know what it's like. You have to know how
long did you live with your were your partner before
you guys? Before you guys moved in?
Speaker 12 (15:03):
Probably little over a year, little over a year?
Speaker 3 (15:05):
Okay, And so did you get engaged and then move
in or were you already or did you move in?
Speaker 2 (15:11):
Yeah?
Speaker 9 (15:11):
We end up living together in an apartment and then
I got engaged after a year, and then we got
married and then get two kids, been married.
Speaker 4 (15:18):
With fine, all right, perfect, I got to test this
out first.
Speaker 7 (15:23):
That is not that hard.
Speaker 3 (15:25):
All right, Well, thank you, and congrats on on being
married for over two decades.
Speaker 9 (15:29):
Thank you, thank you.
Speaker 4 (15:31):
All right, Well, that was a lot of people.
Speaker 2 (15:33):
Weighing in on whether or not but agree with us mostly.
Speaker 3 (15:37):
You know what, though, do what works for you. Some
people don't even want to get married, and they're okay
with just living together.
Speaker 2 (15:41):
I mean Shirley Rife, Rolph talks about her to the
homes and.
Speaker 4 (15:49):
So don't get don't live together after marriage exactly? All right?
Speaker 3 (15:53):
When we come back with your yet, let's talk about
Genie my and Jeezy man. Who would have thought that
their relationship would end the way that it has. She
had to call the police during this fight, and we'll
tell you what we know about that. So far, it's
way up.
Speaker 8 (16:09):
Sure, she's about to blow the lead ab off this spot.
Speaker 2 (16:12):
Let's get it.
Speaker 7 (16:12):
Oh yeah, angelus feeling that yet, come.
Speaker 8 (16:15):
And get the tea.
Speaker 3 (16:16):
It's way up, but angela, ye, my guy Aqim Woods
is here. What let's start this ut off with the
rest in peace?
Speaker 2 (16:23):
Man.
Speaker 4 (16:23):
This is such a sad story.
Speaker 3 (16:24):
Patrick Houston Junior, he's actually Project Pat's son was unfortunately shot.
He died after a shooting in a park and they
said details around the incident are still murky.
Speaker 4 (16:37):
And you know Project Pat is jucyj is his older brother,
I believe.
Speaker 3 (16:41):
But they said The shooting went down just after one
pm on Friday. When officers arrived at the scene, they
found that he was already dead. No other details have
been released, and the funeral service is set for Saturday.
He was only twenty one years old, so rest in peace.
Are condolences to the family. That's awful, all right now.
Genie Mai had to call the police as she was
(17:03):
having another showdown with her ex husband Jeezy. She showed
up to collect boxes of personal items from the home
that they once shared, but she was not allowed inside,
so she then called the police in Touches reporting this story.
They settled their divorce in June, and a couple of
months later, she said she had items she needed to get.
He said he placed them in boxes that had her
(17:24):
Emmy trophies, photos, handbag, shoes.
Speaker 4 (17:27):
Other items.
Speaker 3 (17:28):
They said she could pick it up within twenty one days,
but then he asked the court to modify due to
him not feeling safe with her running around his house.
Speaker 4 (17:35):
That was a big story when that happened too.
Speaker 3 (17:38):
They said that he was perfectly fine with her coming
to retrieve the property, but he didn't want her.
Speaker 4 (17:43):
Walking through the whole house. So now she's saying that.
Speaker 3 (17:47):
Lawyers notified him that she would be coming on December ninth,
and he had no objections. But then you know, she
wasn't allowed inside of the house and would not let
her movers access the garage, and so that's what happened.
The police were not called to make a scene, but
instead to report that the court order was being violated.
That's what Genie Maya is saying. Isn't that awful to
(18:08):
go do that? You'll have a kid, a beautiful daughter together.
Speaker 2 (18:11):
Yeah, it's such when people don't want to just am
a complete spill it.
Speaker 4 (18:16):
Yeah, it's not an easy thing to do.
Speaker 3 (18:18):
And you know, I'm hoping that with time they'll be
able to work through these things and at least be
able to be co parent civil to each other. All right,
Coyler Ray is pregnant, and she announced that earlier in
the month, But now it looks like she is letting
us know that she was cheated on. She posted on
Instagram nothing worse than being cheated on with a broken
(18:39):
heart emoji. I wouldn't wish this pain on my worst enemy.
God bless. So that's all the information that she gave us,
But of course people are assuming that means that her
soon to be child's father, Trippy Red cheated. And so
we'll wait and see what happens, because you know, everything
ends up on social media.
Speaker 2 (18:57):
I mean, yep, that's true.
Speaker 3 (18:58):
All right, Well that is your yeete, And when we
come back, we have your stories that are flying under
the radar.
Speaker 11 (19:04):
Now.
Speaker 4 (19:05):
One of these is quite hilarious.
Speaker 3 (19:07):
One of the Capital rioters who Donald Trump is pardoning
because he's pardoning all of them, does not want that
pardon because they're guilty. They broke the law. All right,
we'll tell you who said that. It's way up in
the news that relates to you.
Speaker 8 (19:22):
These stories are flying under the radar.
Speaker 4 (19:24):
It's way up.
Speaker 3 (19:25):
But Angela Yee at keen Woods is here, hey, guards,
and we definitely chuckled at this story for under the radar.
At least two people who pleaded guilty for the January
sixth riot at the US Capitol back in twenty twenty
one on January sixth do not want pardons all right now.
One said that Donald Trump can shove his pardon up
(19:45):
his a. Jason Riddle told ABC News, I am guilty
of the crimes I've committed and accept the consequences he
was sent to in ninety days in jail for two
misdemeanor offenses. He said, as thanks to those consequences, I
now have a happy and fruitful existence. Because his probation
included him attending alcoholic treatment. He said he was an
obsessor of Donald Trump at the time and struggling with alcohol.
(20:07):
He said, I don't need to obsess over a narcissistic
bully to feel better about myself.
Speaker 4 (20:11):
Trump can shove his pardon.
Speaker 2 (20:13):
Look at God, won't.
Speaker 6 (20:15):
He do it?
Speaker 2 (20:15):
Won't he do it? Look at a Trump supporter with
common sense.
Speaker 3 (20:18):
And now one woman who has been nicknamed Maga Granny,
Pamela hamp Hill. She's a seventy one year old woman
from Idaho that tracks I said that she's not taking
it either.
Speaker 4 (20:31):
Here's what she said.
Speaker 2 (20:33):
I went along with everything on here, and I paid
a big price for this. I worked alone.
Speaker 4 (20:38):
It's just that simple.
Speaker 2 (20:40):
I had a choice.
Speaker 10 (20:42):
I'm not a victim.
Speaker 3 (20:43):
She served two months in a federal prison as part
of a plea deal after prosecutor said she pushed past
police barriers and rallied other rioters to follow her lead
at seventy one being that's good, I'm glad she took
up punishment. She said, now I know it was a cult,
and I was in a cult. That's what she told
The New York Times.
Speaker 2 (21:02):
Facts.
Speaker 3 (21:02):
Another thing that Donald Trump has done has revoked workplace
discrimination rules that were enacted by Lyndon B.
Speaker 4 (21:08):
Johnson back in nineteen sixty five.
Speaker 3 (21:12):
So basically, now the rule basically forbade federal contract is
from discriminating on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, sex,
sexual orientation, or gender identity.
Speaker 4 (21:24):
I guess now you're allowed to do that.
Speaker 2 (21:26):
Of course, welcome to the last season of America.
Speaker 11 (21:29):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (21:30):
He called it a radical DEI preferencing.
Speaker 3 (21:34):
So, in other words, if you are allowing people to
work places who are deserving of a position and they
happen to not be white, that is what he considers
radical DEI preferencing. Because I want to say, DEI does
not mean that you're not qualified. It doesn't di means
that you are qualified.
Speaker 5 (21:50):
Yeah, you're qualified, but there just happens to be nine
hundred white people at this company and we're like, you
know what, maybe five black would be okay.
Speaker 3 (21:56):
Yeah, And I want to shout out to Ryan to
who I was watching something that he was talking at
about he owns the gathering spot. He was saying that
seventy percent of jobs don't even get listed. They actually
go to There's a lot of nepotism, there's a lot
of favors that happen. So if you think that DEI
is ruining the workplace, those most jobs don't even get
listed the majority. All right, Well, that is you're under
(22:18):
the radar. And when we come back, we have your
way up mixed. At the top of the hour, plus
we got coach Jesse joining us. There may be some
things that we fill are out of control, but what
you can control is what you put in your own body.
All right, we'll talk about the detox now and the
new rebrand.
Speaker 7 (22:34):
It's way up the rooms from industry shade to all
of gossip out angels feeling.
Speaker 4 (22:41):
That it's way up with Angela yee, I'm here with
my guy I kem w.
Speaker 2 (22:46):
What's up y'all?
Speaker 3 (22:47):
And it's awards season, I know, just the season we're
eating stylism. I'm still finishing and chewing into my mouth.
All right, So let's talk about the iHeartRadio Music Awards.
Speaker 12 (22:58):
Now.
Speaker 3 (22:58):
Taylor Swift and Morgan will And are leading the content.
The leading contenders for these awards. They have ten nominations each,
followed by Kenjack, Lamar, Post Malone and Sabrina Carpenter they
have nine each. And you know the awards are going
to be Monday, March seventeenth. I did Good Day in
New York earlier today and the awards are going to
be on Fox. So they were talking about the nominations.
(23:20):
But Artists of the Year, I want to see your
thoughts because I know you listened all kinds of music
and it's a lot of people nominated. Billie Eilis, Dojaka,
Jelly Roll, Kendrick Lamar, Morgan Wallin, Post Malone, Sabrina Carpenter, Sizza,
Taylor Swift, Teddy Swims. Which one you Pickkenjack album? Okay,
(23:41):
all right, that's nice. I could see that happening. Kendrick.
Speaker 4 (23:44):
I mean, the biggest stars are in that category.
Speaker 2 (23:48):
I did, Yeah, definitely Kerick.
Speaker 3 (23:51):
All right, so you guys make sure you check that
out on March seventeenth and LA at Adobe Theater. That's
a hard one because if you ask me, of course
I love Sizza and Kendrick, but then I also know
what a huge artist Tyler Swift is yeah, and the
type of you and Sabrina Carpenter too, So I don't know.
Speaker 4 (24:11):
Then I don't listen to country, So I don't.
Speaker 5 (24:13):
Listen to the country. Isn't Morgan Waalthan the dude who
was yelling manar or whatever? Yeah, yeah, so card pass
on him.
Speaker 3 (24:19):
I'll be losing you still messing with him of course
right now. The Oscars this year's nominees have also been announced.
They were originally supposed to be announced on the seventeenth,
but because of the wildfires, they ended up delaying that announcement.
This is going to also air live from the Adobe
Theater and this is going to take place Sunday, March second,
on ABC and Hulu, hosted by Conan O'Brien. Zoe saw
(24:41):
Dona got her first ever Oscar nomination for Amelia Perez,
and she released the statement saying, I don't think I
can properly express the deep levels of gratitude and joy
I feel for the recognition Amelia Perez has been given
and I mean that got nominated.
Speaker 5 (24:56):
I got it.
Speaker 4 (24:57):
Now I realize I have to watch that. I feel
like every time seen any of these Oscar nominations happen
I'm like, I don't know.
Speaker 2 (25:03):
Any of these I gotta go watch these movies.
Speaker 3 (25:06):
Adrian Brodie said that he'll cherish his Oscar nomination after
experiencing peaks and valleys in his career, So excited for him.
Demi Moore got her first Oscar nomination for the Substance,
and she shared a statement as well to express her excitement,
and she said, these last few months have been beyond
my wildest dreams. Ariana Grande was nominated. She said she
(25:26):
cannot stop crying over her Wicked nomination. We talked about
this earlier. Cynthia Revo was also nominated for Wicked. You
haven't seen Wicked either.
Speaker 2 (25:34):
I have not a terrible gay.
Speaker 3 (25:37):
People are to keep on talking about how amazing that is.
Now Milia Perez is also the most nominated non English
language film in history. Oh okay, yeah, so they beat
Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, Enviroma. Great for that, and yeah,
so all the Best Actress nominees are all first times
except for Cynthia Arrivo.
Speaker 4 (25:56):
So get ready for that.
Speaker 3 (25:58):
Now, we got some movies we got to catch up
on exactly all right, Well that is your yeete when
we come back. Eight hundred two ninety two fifty one fifty.
We got asked ye on the way again, that's eight
hundred two ninety two fifty one fifty. If you need
some help, me and Aqim are here to help you out.
This advice is always different than mine.
Speaker 2 (26:15):
My advice is usually bad. But follow one of.
Speaker 4 (26:17):
Us all right his way up here?
Speaker 7 (26:20):
Everybody, whether it's relationship or career advice, Angela's dropping facts.
Speaker 8 (26:25):
You should know.
Speaker 4 (26:26):
This is ask what's up?
Speaker 8 (26:28):
This way?
Speaker 4 (26:28):
Up at Angela? Yee, I'm here with my guy. I
came with Hey, guys, are you ready for it? We
need a drop for you?
Speaker 2 (26:34):
Are you ready for this? Ask you?
Speaker 4 (26:35):
We have Jessica on the line. What's that Jessica?
Speaker 2 (26:37):
What's up?
Speaker 4 (26:37):
Boo?
Speaker 6 (26:38):
Hi?
Speaker 12 (26:39):
How are you doing?
Speaker 4 (26:40):
How are you feeling?
Speaker 2 (26:41):
Feeling good?
Speaker 9 (26:42):
Ye?
Speaker 12 (26:43):
I do have a question.
Speaker 4 (26:45):
Okay, we're listening.
Speaker 12 (26:46):
So me and my man we want to move in together.
And I'm an animal lover. I have a dog.
Speaker 9 (26:52):
It's hit full name is Loki.
Speaker 12 (26:54):
I love him low key okay, but he hates animals
and he doesn't want to move in with me because
of the dog. And I don't want to get rid
of this dog obviously.
Speaker 2 (27:07):
How long does you all think I should How long
have you all been together?
Speaker 11 (27:09):
Three years?
Speaker 2 (27:10):
How long have you had the dog?
Speaker 12 (27:11):
One year? He's a puppy.
Speaker 2 (27:15):
Time soon? Oh yeah, you gotta let you gotta let
go of this man.
Speaker 4 (27:19):
What does he do when he comes over your house? Though, Like,
and you have this dog, I lock them away.
Speaker 12 (27:25):
There's a gate that we have in the house, and
I keep them separated. But we obviously can't do that
if we live together.
Speaker 2 (27:32):
What's his animosity towards dogs?
Speaker 12 (27:35):
He had something that happened and when he was younger
were a dog with his hands. And I understand the issue,
but I.
Speaker 10 (27:44):
On my own.
Speaker 5 (27:44):
But also it's a puppy. Let it go, go to therapy,
get some counselor. And those dogs exist.
Speaker 3 (27:51):
There's a lot of people I know. As a matter
of fact, my business partner hated dogs. He got married, Yeah,
and they have a dog, and now he like.
Speaker 4 (27:58):
Loves the dog.
Speaker 2 (28:00):
I think y'all should compromise.
Speaker 5 (28:01):
He should come over sometimes with the dog unlocked, or
take the dog in like a doggy date type thing,
like maybe doggy days.
Speaker 2 (28:09):
How's cute?
Speaker 3 (28:09):
Tell me can write the dog off on your taxes,
give them time to bond with the dog.
Speaker 2 (28:13):
Puppies are adorable.
Speaker 5 (28:14):
If he if he hates a pitp puppy, then girl,
let him go, because that means he's the devil.
Speaker 3 (28:19):
I think you have to I think you have to
leave it up to him, tell him the dog is
important to you. You love your dog, and it's up
to him. I would love for you to be here,
but if you can't deal with the dog, I can't
really do anything about it. If you can't come to
that type of compromise. If you love me, my dog
comes with it. That's like having a child.
Speaker 12 (28:38):
Yeah, okay, I'll try it.
Speaker 11 (28:41):
I'll give it a go.
Speaker 12 (28:41):
It's definitely been a couple of arguments.
Speaker 4 (28:43):
So let's see how let's see how much he loves you.
Speaker 12 (28:47):
We'll see.
Speaker 2 (28:51):
Yeah, good luck, baby, thank you.
Speaker 4 (28:54):
We're not throwing the dog away though, Yeah, of course not.
It's a puppy.
Speaker 2 (28:57):
Also, row up, dude, you're scared of a puppy.
Speaker 4 (29:00):
We've been been by a dog at some point.
Speaker 3 (29:01):
Yeah, all right, Well that was ask ye eight hundred
and two ninety two, fifty one to fifty. If you
couldn't get through And when we come back, Coach Jesse
is joining us now. Coach Jesse is the founder of
thedetox now dot com. But we have a special announcement
to make because you know, I'm always trying to make
sure I do better on my journey towards health and wellness.
I fall, but I get back up and we'll talk
(29:23):
to her about the detox Now and what's about to
happen in the future and how this can benefit you.
Speaker 4 (29:27):
It's way up.
Speaker 8 (29:28):
This is way up with Angela.
Speaker 2 (29:30):
Let's go.
Speaker 5 (29:31):
You are a media maven, right, you never know what
Ang's gonna say.
Speaker 3 (29:36):
What's up his way up at Angela yee. It is
a special day. Coach Jesse is here. We've worked together
so much, you know, in particular with the Detox Now,
and so today we wanted to have you up here
to talk about what is happening in the future.
Speaker 4 (29:50):
So welcome back, Coach Jesse. Thank you.
Speaker 10 (29:53):
This is very deeply personal for me because the Detox
Now started right out of my own fight for better
health after battling fibroids, infertility and chronic health issues that
I still deal with today. And it really became something
that I realized with one simple goal that all I
wanted to do was to help women have better health
(30:16):
right and to live free from preventable health issues as
well as reproductive health issues like fibroids and more.
Speaker 3 (30:22):
So I've done the Detax now, which is why I've
always given it my stamp of approval because that was
one thing I told coach Jesse the way that I am.
Before I even can say somebody else would do this,
I have to do it myself. So let's talk about
what we are.
Speaker 10 (30:35):
We still are black women owned, and we're still focused
on education and supplements, focusing on the equity gap, the
health disparities that deal with fibroids, obesity, chronic health issues
that are preventable.
Speaker 4 (30:48):
Those are definitely our focus.
Speaker 2 (30:50):
So I wanted to tell you about the new line.
Speaker 10 (30:52):
So what's new is it's now simplified and higher impact formulas.
Speaker 4 (30:57):
So that means that one.
Speaker 10 (30:59):
Product actually will do what three or four or two did,
because what we wanted to do is target multiple health
issues with one supplement.
Speaker 4 (31:09):
The Detax. Now I'm here with code to Jesse.
Speaker 10 (31:12):
And then also we streamline the doses so instead of
taking them three times a day, it's what it's a
day that is amazing because you know how hard that
is when you have to go to work and you
can't bring your supplements with you, right, you left them
at home. Now you're like, oh, man, I didn't take
the dose at the right time.
Speaker 4 (31:26):
That's amazing.
Speaker 10 (31:27):
So that affected consistency and convenience right in terms of
being able to make it achievable.
Speaker 4 (31:32):
And then the enhanced quality is a major part.
Speaker 10 (31:35):
Like, for instance, the studies show that you should be
taking at least five hundred to one thousand milligrams of
turmeric daily if you're dealing with a chronic health issue
like fibroids or dealing with joint mobility, et cetera. So
we made sure that the key active ingredients all had
that level of therapeutic dose.
Speaker 3 (31:53):
And this can be preventative too, right because even if
now you're not dealing with these chronic issues, this is
something that will make sure that you won't.
Speaker 10 (32:00):
Absolutely because guess what, the world that we deal with
is very toxic. So you're always dealing with causes inflammation,
everything from the air fetcher breathing, to the products people
are using on their skin, everything around us. So we
have to be proactive about actually reducing our environment or impact.
Speaker 3 (32:19):
Even the clothes that you purchased, I know, we all
like fast fashion. Yeah, but there's been all kinds of
warnings and people are still going to buy it because
they're like, you know what, it's cheap and affordable, and.
Speaker 4 (32:28):
The impact on our health is even more.
Speaker 10 (32:30):
Les's why younger people are having cancers at higher rates
and those that they would never normally wouldn't have at
those ages.
Speaker 6 (32:37):
Right.
Speaker 10 (32:38):
So, and then the other thing is of course affordable pricing,
So premium product, affordable.
Speaker 4 (32:42):
Accessible pricing.
Speaker 10 (32:44):
And we now also have a team of licensed and
holistic and medical practitioners who are helping to provide expert guidance.
Speaker 4 (32:52):
So everything has been leveled up. Coach Jesse is here
with me.
Speaker 3 (32:56):
We're talking about the detax now dot Com, the new
partnership that we have, the new products that we have.
You got to make sure you take care of yourself
when it comes to fibraids, when it comes to heart health.
Speaker 4 (33:05):
Inflammation, liver everything. We have more with Coach Jesse.
Speaker 3 (33:09):
When we come back, it's way up, way up.
Speaker 4 (33:15):
What's up is way up with Angela Yee.
Speaker 3 (33:17):
I'm here with Coaching Jesse and we're talking about the
detoxnow dot com and a brand new relaunch. So the
fast that I did with you guys for the Detax.
Now was two weeks long.
Speaker 4 (33:27):
What have you done? Now that's different. It's not fourteen
days anymore.
Speaker 2 (33:30):
Now it's seven days.
Speaker 4 (33:31):
Oh see, days was tough. I'm not the supplement. I
can do that.
Speaker 10 (33:37):
The supplement is so much stronger now this Detox are
actually and we have a hymn version two. Okay, So
because I know women would love to have their men
doing it with them and they always yes. So now
the really excited news. We're not just launching this product
with the same team. We're actually launching now with a
(33:58):
new equity partner and global ambassador.
Speaker 4 (34:01):
For the Detox. Now I heard it's somebody amazing.
Speaker 3 (34:04):
It's somebody special, all right, Yes, yes, So I'm excited,
truly excited about this. Literally all the time, when I
have friends who talk to me about health issues about fibroids,
I always refer them.
Speaker 4 (34:18):
To you and I just call. She just texted me today,
Eric Alexander.
Speaker 3 (34:20):
Yep, and you put me on that door when I
was talking to her and we were having like you know,
she talks about it, so it's not a secret. But
we were having a discussion about it, and I said,
you have got to talk to Coach Jesse like she
will be the person that will will help you with
whatever it is. And that's really the type of people
that I want to partner with. People who have good intentions,
people who I see have been doing the work, who
(34:40):
actually really care about what it is that they're doing,
and who I feel comfortable referring.
Speaker 2 (34:44):
To you and to this.
Speaker 4 (34:46):
I think it's time for a total right to better health,
better health, and a discount. We got to discount right
and listen, thank you.
Speaker 10 (34:55):
So right now, all the supplements are on pre order
at the Detox Now do thirty percent off. And I'm
saying thirty percent off because we worked hard to get
these prices down, so you ain't gonna get thirty percent
off on a regular This is no.
Speaker 4 (35:07):
Special pre order.
Speaker 10 (35:08):
It's a special pre order. So go to the Detox
Now get yours into your health.
Speaker 4 (35:15):
I look kick to it. Yeah, not bad at all.
Speaker 3 (35:17):
Well, Coach Jesse, thank you so much for this opportunity
and for being able to actually do what we can
to help everybody.
Speaker 4 (35:25):
You know, I love that, so I love that.
Speaker 3 (35:27):

their children to be taken care of for that type
(37:00):
of illness that they're having to deal with. It's not
an easy time and we know financially what a stream
that is. So I'm just excited to be part of this.
And of course this is your show, so you have
the last word.
Speaker 9 (37:12):

Speaker 12 (37:17):
Hell yeah, because that man made lazy.
Speaker 9 (37:20):
He may just take his clothes off and throw him around.
Speaker 10 (37:22):
You want to know this type of stuff before you
get married. Have a good one.
Speaker 11 (37:26):
Hi. My name is Elisa. I want to give a
shout out to my mother. She just had her birthday.
She just graduated with her master's degree and she's going

Girls that has guided us to the sky. She's taught
us great ways, great values. So thank you, Unestine Threat,
(37:49):

Speaker 8 (37:50):
Going Way Out turn out with Angela Yee
