Speaker 1 (00:00):
You are.

Speaker 2 (00:05):
What I call ye.

Speaker 3 (00:14):
What's up is where you put angela?

Speaker 4 (00:16):
Ye?

Speaker 5 (00:16):
Mayno's hairy Mayno. That's right, I mean happy New Year.
It is Chinese New Year today.

Speaker 6 (00:23):
You speak Chinese.

Speaker 5 (00:24):
It's the year of Cantonese, the snake. It's Cantonese. Most
people speak Mandarin. Can't you speak Mandarin?

Speaker 6 (00:33):
Mandarin?

Speaker 5 (00:33):
Okay?

Speaker 6 (00:33):
Got it?

Speaker 5 (00:35):
But yeah, so there's a lot of things today. You
know what you're supposed to do this morning, but you
can still do it. We'll do it in a minute.
You're actually supposed to take rice and rub it in
your hands nice, and then rinse your hands off. And
as you're rubbing, I mean not rice, salt. You're supposed
to take salt and rub it on your hands, and
then you're supposed to shed all of the things and
all of the burdens that you have and then rinse
your hands off and then they rinse down.

Speaker 6 (00:56):
And this is Chinese New Year.

Speaker 3 (00:58):
Today is the lunar New Year.

Speaker 6 (00:59):
Got it?

Speaker 5 (01:00):
Mm hmm. So there's a lot of things you're supposed
to be doing to celebrate that. We'll talk about that later.

Speaker 6 (01:04):
We want a Chinese calendar. Now, man, you are stout
New Year.

Speaker 3 (01:07):
Now Okay, I know that's right. Let's celebrate. We know
how we do.

Speaker 5 (01:11):
Today's also a Wealth Wednesday, so that's also a good sign.
Shout out to Lisetta Braxton who will be here. She
is a financial planner as well as a wealth manager,
and so Stacey Tisday will be here talking about that.
But let's get this show started with some love and
some positivity because it's what the world needs now.

Speaker 3 (01:29):
All right, Let's.

Speaker 5 (01:30):
Shine a light eight hundred two nine two fifty one fifty.

Speaker 7 (01:35):
I'm turn your lights on, y'all, spreading love to those
who are doing greatness.

Speaker 2 (01:41):
Shining light on, shine a light on. It's time to
shine a light on them.

Speaker 3 (01:47):
It's way up at Angela.

Speaker 5 (01:48):
Ye, my guy mainos here and today, like I said,
it is Luna New Year, and today we want to
shine a light on the Joe and Clara si Foundation.

Speaker 3 (01:57):
Now Joe and Clara Wisai.

Speaker 5 (01:59):
They are the ownership of the Brooklyn Nets, the New
York Liberty, the Barclay Center. They're Chinese descent and they've
done a lot of things with their social justice fund.
And I'm actually a part of the committee that helps
give out some of the grants in the community. But
with so many people scaling back on DEI and being
nervous about this current administration, the fact that they're still

(02:21):
going hard on helping to fund these businesses and these founders.
They've done a lot. So make sure you check out
the Social Justice Fund. I've witnessed personally, the funds that
they've given out, the grants that they've given out to
help in the community, and they're really doing the work.
You know, we're watching Costco get a lot of pressure
to scale back their DEI and we're seeing a lot

(02:43):
of people fold under that pressure. So it's nice to
know that there are people who still are standing up
and doing the work. They had a whole belonged Brooklyn
campaign that they did where they donated twenty five thousand
dollars to four different Brooklyn based organizations, so that was
one hundred thousand dollars altogether. I really don't just talk
to talk. They walk the walk and put their money
where their mouths are. And right now we need it

(03:04):
more than ever. And shout out to my guy Greg
Bishop too, who also helps run that fund. All right, now,
who do you guys want to shine a light on
eight hundred and two ninety two fifty one fifty Timola,
who do you want to shine a light on?

Speaker 8 (03:17):
I want to.

Speaker 9 (03:17):
Shine the light on my girl, and I want to
shine the light on Mayne.

Speaker 5 (03:21):
Okay, let's hear it.

Speaker 6 (03:22):
I want to shine a lot on my DoD.

Speaker 8 (03:24):
That's me because we about to make.

Speaker 5 (03:26):
Six years and may Oh, she's just been holding it
down as mother and that's my ver she.

Speaker 2 (03:31):
Hold up there?

Speaker 5 (03:32):
Is that your girl? Or is that your wife?

Speaker 8 (03:34):
I've been about to.

Speaker 2 (03:34):
Be my wife.

Speaker 8 (03:35):
So I'm gonna get how a ranks home?

Speaker 5 (03:37):
Okay? Nice, go ahead with Mayno.

Speaker 3 (03:39):
So now shine a light on Mayno.

Speaker 2 (03:40):
May not know who I am?

Speaker 10 (03:41):
I aint little brother.

Speaker 8 (03:43):
He a good guy, he humble one person. He's not
copy here, a real person.

Speaker 6 (03:47):
I appreciate that brother much love tell him, Bob.

Speaker 11 (03:51):
Can y'all just do me walk faver?

Speaker 10 (03:52):
Can y'all just play shave one one time?

Speaker 5 (03:55):
Okay, we got you.

Speaker 6 (03:56):
Let's do it, y let them let do it? Let me?

Speaker 5 (04:00):
Are you saying the hook?

Speaker 8 (04:01):
How would you let me say?

Speaker 11 (04:02):
We could go right?

Speaker 5 (04:04):
Okay? Thank you for calling t mula.

Speaker 8 (04:07):
You're ready?

Speaker 9 (04:08):
Well?

Speaker 5 (04:08):
That was shining light eight hundred two ninety two fifty
one fifty. If you couldn't get through. You could still
shine a light on somebody for a last word. And
when we come back, Ye tea time. Let's talk about
acep Rocky. Now, his former friend asap Relly has testified.
Will tell you what he had to say on the stand.
Its way up, they says in the rooms from industry

(04:28):
shade to all of gossip out send Angelus feeling that
eet all right, his way up at Angela, Ye, I'm here,
my guy Maino's here.

Speaker 3 (04:37):
Yeah, man, let's get into this et.

Speaker 5 (04:40):
So acep Rocky's ex friend and they've known each other
since high school. Acep Relly took the stand yesterday and
testified against him and talked about what he alleges happened
and discussing acep Rocky shooting him. Here's what he said,
I mean, that's law.

Speaker 2 (05:00):
It's like in between and he's like, I'll kill you.

Speaker 4 (05:02):
Right now, and then I'm straight behind lots and what
I'm saying, if you brought a gun using.

Speaker 11 (05:07):
It, where are your body was appointing I.

Speaker 4 (05:09):
Tooards my stomach quite shorts, like my head is a
little like everything.

Speaker 3 (05:14):
Was happening so fast all right.

Speaker 5 (05:16):
Now, ASCEP Rocky is charged with two felony counts of
assault with a semi automatic firearm. He's facing a maximum
of twenty four years in prison if convicted. He has
pleading not guilty. He turned down a plea deal, and
his lawyer seems very confident. He's saying that these allegations
are bogus. He says, really is trying to extort a
sep Rocky, and that he only had a prop gun

(05:37):
and that he didn't have a real gun because there
is video footage where you can see the gun.

Speaker 3 (05:41):
Yeah, where you can see that.

Speaker 6 (05:43):
Man, Damn, I'm starting to get concerned about Rocky.

Speaker 5 (05:47):
Yeah, why is that?

Speaker 6 (05:48):
I don't want to see it not go his way.

Speaker 3 (05:51):
Well, this all happened in twenty twenty one.

Speaker 5 (05:53):
There was allegedly a hated argument that they had, and
you know, Assept. Bradley said, I was willing to die
from my respective this is what you want to do.
I still have my dignity.

Speaker 12 (06:02):
Now.

Speaker 5 (06:03):
When asart Relly was leaving court, because of course people
are gonna say he's taking the stand, he's snitching, Here's
what he had to say outside. He said, would you
be a snitch if somebody shot it? Would you snitch
if somebody shot at you. Okay, let's play it one
more time. And they were outside at court of the courtroom,

(06:26):
yelling at him, calling him a snitch. While he was
walking to the car. Now fifty cents said man, I
hope Rocky are right. This fool just want some money.
We've seen this movie before. It's a rerun. And he
called him a sucker as well, So we'll see how
all of this plays out. We had a conversation in
the room, like if your friend shot you, would.

Speaker 6 (06:44):
You I shot two of my friends, Okay.

Speaker 5 (06:47):
I was hoping you weren't going to say that.

Speaker 1 (06:48):
Okay, No, I'm just saying when I was fourteen, I
shot my friend in the stomach on purpose. No, I
wasn't on purpose, but you know I shot them. It
wasn't I didn't. I didn't want to shoot him. I
shot him in the stomach, and I shot my friend
and a finger. And no one told no, No one

(07:11):
told I didn't.

Speaker 3 (07:12):
So what happened?

Speaker 5 (07:14):
Told when you get shut in the stomach, and don't
you have to go to the hospital.

Speaker 6 (07:17):
Yeah, he didn't say I did it.

Speaker 5 (07:18):
Okay, So what did he say happened? Like, don't they
ask what what went down, like, how did you.

Speaker 6 (07:22):
Get He didn't. He never said I did it.

Speaker 5 (07:25):
Well, you're still friends after that, still friends this day. Okay,
all right, wellether you have it and that is your yeasy.
When we come back, we have about last night. You
came in here today, Yeah, one after watching this, I
d the Downfall of Diddy series. All right, so we'll
talk about that. It's way up.

Speaker 2 (07:47):
So about last night.

Speaker 5 (07:50):
I went down all right, his way up at angel like, yeah,
I'm here with my guy. Man, what did you do
last Well, I know what you did. Before we get
to that, I had to get my nails and I
have to get better at getting my nails done. But today,
like I said, is Chinese New Year. It's the year
the snakes. I did like some year the snake nails

(08:11):
for myself.

Speaker 4 (08:12):
Year.

Speaker 6 (08:12):
We gotta do the salt thing.

Speaker 3 (08:14):
Yeah, we got to do this salt thing.

Speaker 5 (08:15):
So we got to get the salt where we rubbed
the salt in our hands and then rinse them and
there's rinse off all of the bad energy. Because last
night there was some energy. So we were both watching
the ID channel. I feel like we do similar things.

Speaker 6 (08:29):
I don't know if you got to the point that
I got up to.

Speaker 3 (08:32):
I did not because.

Speaker 5 (08:35):
Yes, yes that was a but this is all about
the downfall of Diddy. And so I saw one gentleman
that was on there that was talking about he was
in charge of like cleaning up after the freak offs,
and he had text messages and everything just basically when
a Puff's assistant who I guess ended up running his business,

(08:56):
it was like his right hand. She would be sending
him messages like, oh, you have to come and clean this,
so bring this carpet cleaner. And there's oil everywhere. He said,
it'd be so much oil you could slip when you
went into right.

Speaker 1 (09:07):
But I mean, listen, just I was looking for when
I watched it, I was looking for, like when he
was going to talk about like the crime, like I meant,
other than I don't understand little Rod letting men touch
on him and not addressing it.

Speaker 6 (09:23):
I never understood that. And saying dudes was just like
film fondeling him and stuff like that.

Speaker 3 (09:27):
Well, people do feel intimidated. Things happen.

Speaker 6 (09:30):
I don't know.

Speaker 9 (09:32):
Him.

Speaker 3 (09:33):
I couldn't. I couldn't tell you what that's like.

Speaker 5 (09:35):
And I think sometimes people could say what they would do,
but when a situation happens, sometimes people.

Speaker 13 (09:41):
Know, yeah, no, you know what you're saying exactly what
I'm doing, you know.

Speaker 5 (09:45):
But definitely I have to finish watching it because it's
like five parts.

Speaker 14 (09:49):
I fell asleep on Maybe there was one woman that
he used to date and she was on there too,
kind of detailing some of the things that she went
through while they were dating.

Speaker 6 (10:00):
Some of it was like fun, like comedy to me.

Speaker 5 (10:03):
Really yeah, alright, well, we're going to see what happens,
because the truth to the matter is if you feel
like things are into like Chris Brown is suing over
documentary about him, right right, So if there's things that
his attorneys feel like this is not true, these are lies.
You know, that's a huge that's a huge lawsuit. So

(10:23):
we shall see what happens from that. But in the meantime,
all the secrets are coming out, and now we want
to hear yours all right eight hundred two ninety two
fifty one.

Speaker 3 (10:32):
Fifty call us up. MANA wants to hear your secret.

Speaker 5 (10:35):
And I just need you to really focus on the
no judgment'sone partnerment.

Speaker 6 (10:41):
Listen, we don't listen, and we.

Speaker 5 (10:43):
Judge, we don't listen and we judge. We do listen,
we judge and don't listen. No, we don't judge, and
we listen. We listen and don't judge. Eight hundred two
ninety two fifty one fifty. You're not going to trip
me up? Okay?

Speaker 3 (10:57):
Eight hundred two nine two fifty one fifty is a number.
Call us up. Any secret you have, We listen and
don't judge.

Speaker 5 (11:03):
Okay, because this guy right here shot a couple people
and we're not judging.

Speaker 3 (11:08):
Eight hundred two ninety two fifty one fifty call us up.

Speaker 5 (11:11):
Tell us a secret again, no judgment you have, No,
you can't.

Speaker 3 (11:15):
Eight hundred fifty one fifty. Tell us a secret.

Speaker 2 (11:20):
This is a judgment. Freeze on. Tell us a secret.

Speaker 5 (11:23):
Hey, what's up, guys? Tell us a secret. It's me
and my guy may know. No on the way up
with there and do like, why are you laughing?

Speaker 6 (11:29):
No, because we listen and judge.

Speaker 5 (11:34):
It's supposed to be. We listen and we don't judge.
Don't lie about.

Speaker 6 (11:37):
We don't listen judge.

Speaker 3 (11:39):
You do both, judge, you do both.

Speaker 5 (11:41):
You don't listen and you judge. Well, listen, let's get
into it. Anonymous call it tell us your secret.

Speaker 10 (11:48):
With the past that at my church for about three years, sleeping.

Speaker 5 (11:51):
With the pastor for three years. Why aren't you guys
like together dating? Why is it a secret he married pastor.

Speaker 6 (12:01):
Sleep with other women all the time, don't they.

Speaker 10 (12:03):
That's not why they're together.

Speaker 5 (12:04):
They're not together because I played the drums, play that drums.

Speaker 10 (12:10):
Yeah, yeah, she she the one that put him on
for me to play the drums. And that's why she
doing what she's doing. That's really why they because you
already know if he made a wrong and won't tell everybody.

Speaker 6 (12:21):
Here, and and you be playing his drums, don't you.

Speaker 10 (12:24):
Yeah, I gotta get.

Speaker 3 (12:28):
Wait, hold on, now, what's going on here?

Speaker 15 (12:29):
This?

Speaker 10 (12:32):
I'm with the drummer at the church?

Speaker 6 (12:33):
Oh he playing? Oh he knocking both of y'all all.

Speaker 10 (12:38):
The pastor. I don't know one that caught him, because
let me tell y'all, I had locked up the church
and current in the pastor in the back about the
whole situation.

Speaker 5 (12:47):
So now I got to sleep with them both, sleeping
with the drummer and the pastor.

Speaker 3 (12:51):
Are y'all doing this all three together? Or is it separately?

Speaker 5 (12:54):
It's separately, y'all might as well, do it all together.

Speaker 10 (12:58):
I'm the head of the mission every board.

Speaker 2 (13:01):
Oh wow, Praise the Lord.

Speaker 6 (13:04):
Praise the Lord, Praise the Law.

Speaker 3 (13:11):
Do you pray for forgiveness? Like what happens after that?

Speaker 11 (13:14):
We'll see.

Speaker 10 (13:14):
I'm single. He needs to pay for is he in
the poa every Sunday?

Speaker 3 (13:19):
Do you know his wife?

Speaker 9 (13:21):
Yeah? I know?

Speaker 6 (13:22):
And you sleeping and you're sleeping with him?

Speaker 4 (13:24):
Man?

Speaker 6 (13:25):
Oh de w.

Speaker 9 (13:28):
Are you?

Speaker 3 (13:29):
Are you in love with the pastor?

Speaker 10 (13:30):
I don't know about that.

Speaker 6 (13:32):
Yeah, she's just knocking them off.

Speaker 3 (13:33):
And but it's been three years.

Speaker 6 (13:36):
Sleeping with him, the past the sleeper with the whole church.

Speaker 3 (13:40):
This is what pastor now that grumman sleeping with her

Speaker 5 (13:43):
He may be giving me money, So he's giving you
churches money, I think so, Hey.

Speaker 3 (13:51):

Speaker 1 (13:53):
Hey, praise the lawd Jesus loves you, thank you.

Speaker 5 (13:57):
That's right, God loves us all, bab Yeah, get out
all right, thank you, thank you.

Speaker 1 (14:04):
Y'all might as well all sleep with each other. Though
at the same time as what.

Speaker 5 (14:07):
I'm saying, that was a mess y'all.

Speaker 6 (14:10):
I mean, this is what pastors due though, Like this
is not a big deal.

Speaker 5 (14:12):
That was tell us a secret eight hundred and two
ninet two fifty one fifty if you couldn't get through
and if that was too Mano, you'd be a pastor
if you really believe that. And when we come back,
we have your ye t. Let's talk about Cat Williams.
He was on Theovonn's podcast, and you're not Cat Williams
always going to say some ish, right, We'll tell you
some of the highlights. It's way up.

Speaker 2 (14:30):
Sure, she's about to blow the lid ab off this spot.
Let's get it.

Speaker 7 (14:33):
Oh yeah, Angelus feeling that ye tea, Come and get
the tea.

Speaker 3 (14:37):
It's way up at Angela.

Speaker 11 (14:38):
Yee.

Speaker 5 (14:38):
I'm here with my guy, Mano. No mayna, I feel
bad that you're not about to be able to eat
this popeye as I'm getting. But anyway, let's get into
some ye team and first let's talk about Kat Williams. Now.
Kat Williams was on Theovan's podcast and he talked about
a lot of different things, amongst them Harvey Weinstein in
the power that Harvey Weinstein had here.

Speaker 15 (15:00):
What he said, I was as shocked as anybody about
how powerful Harvey Weinstein was at the time that I
was meeting with him and how he could not be
told no. And then he offered me two actresses like
they was playing cards, and I was like, what.

Speaker 5 (15:22):
That's crazy want from him? What did he want from
Harvey Weinstein?

Speaker 6 (15:28):
What did Harvey Weinstein want from Cat?

Speaker 5 (15:30):
I guess it was business, Yeah, actresses, it's business. So
he probably was trying to do some you know, get
him in a movie or work with him. Cat Williams
also said the way that he's kept his slender physique
is by having sex. That's what he does. That's his
that's his cardio.

Speaker 6 (15:48):
Nice all right.

Speaker 5 (15:49):
He also talked about his Club Shasha interview and the
response that he got from that, the predictions that he
made during there, and the danger.

Speaker 3 (15:59):
That he faced after that. Here's what he said.

Speaker 15 (16:01):
I'm honored to get to say the things that I say.
When I'm saying and I assume that it's going to
work out for the best, and I understand that if
it is for the worst, that I'm prepared to handle
that as well.

Speaker 6 (16:20):
Well.

Speaker 3 (16:20):
There you have it. You know, he's not in the Illuminati.

Speaker 5 (16:23):
It's a joke, but people are already saying, what predictions
does he have for this year because people just felt
like he was talking truth, you know, about everything, reading books,
how fast he can run and do all of that
all Right now, Anthony Mackie is explaining his whole Captain
America what he had to say about that, because there

(16:46):
was a lot of pushback when he discussed Captain America
and that character not just not representing America. He posted
here's what he said originally, just in case you didn't
hear it.

Speaker 4 (16:59):
For me, America represents a lot of different things, and
I don't think the term America should be one of
those representations. Like it's about a man who keeps his word,
who has honored dignity and integrity, of someone who is
trustworthy and dependable.

Speaker 3 (17:17):
So he posted, let me be clear about this.

Speaker 5 (17:19):
I'm a proud American and taking on the shield of
a hero like CAP is the honor of a lifetime.
I have the utmost respect for those who serve and
have served our country. CAP has universal characteristics that people
all over the world can relate to. That's kind of
how I interpret it. When he said it, people were
acting like he was saying it doesn't represent America at all,
because Americans aren't that.

Speaker 6 (17:39):
Not Americans, but America as a whole.

Speaker 3 (17:42):
It's also what we strive to be.

Speaker 5 (17:43):
So it's not necessarily what people are either those characteristics.
That's a fact. All right, Well, that is your ut
when we come back. We have under the radar. These
are the stories that are flying under the radar, but
you need to know about them anyway.

Speaker 3 (17:59):
And I mean, I don't.

Speaker 5 (18:01):
Know if anything that's going on right now is under
the radar that we think you need to know about.
But one story actually is relatable to write up here
right now. Popeyes and Don Julio have announced a tequila
infused chicken sandwich. We'll talk about its way.

Speaker 7 (18:15):
It's in the news that relates to you. These stories
are flying under the radar.

Speaker 3 (18:20):
Okay, what perfect timing. It's way up under.

Speaker 5 (18:22):
The radar time with Manoa. This is exciting. I don't
know who told people that I like Popeyes and Don Yo,
but they have come together to do this tequila infuse
chicken sandwich for Super Bowl twenty twenty five. And you know,
New Orleans and Popeyes go hand in hand because Popeye
started in New Orleans.

Speaker 6 (18:40):
I never knew that.

Speaker 5 (18:42):
And so when you one of the main things they
tell you when you're there in New Orleans is have
the Popeyes Wow, because it's a whole different experience.

Speaker 3 (18:50):
So these items.

Speaker 5 (18:51):
They have a Louisiana garlic three piece wings with repoicidal tequila.
They also gave us the spicy strawberry hibiscus lemonade mocktail
to mix with the Julio and then they have a
chicken sandwich marinated and represided tequila. I saw a lot
of people talking about this online on social media.

Speaker 3 (19:07):
It made quite a splash.

Speaker 5 (19:08):
But it's only available in six US cities, and I
guess that's starting in two days on January There. Yes,
New York City, Miami, New Orleans, Philadelphia, and Kansas City.
So any Pope's Philly in Kansas City because they're in
the Super Bowl.

Speaker 6 (19:26):
Right, So any any Pope's you want to go to
in New York?

Speaker 3 (19:29):
Yeah, they should have it.

Speaker 6 (19:30):
They should have it.

Speaker 2 (19:31):
Wow.

Speaker 5 (19:32):
All right now, Donald Trump administration, the Donald Trump administration
is offering buyouts to federal workers who don't want to
return to the office. The memo was posted on the
website and they said the administration, you know, they've said
federal workers have to go back to office to work
in person, five days a week, or you can accept

(19:53):
this buyout and then you have to resign by February
sixth and you'll get sevens paid through September thirtieth. And
so they also were told that this would be coming.
And yes, the President is requiring they return to work
in person. Restored accountability for employees who have policy making authority,
restored accountability for senior career executives. This program was effective

(20:14):
starting yesterday. And like we said, you have until February
sixth to accept this payout. What would you do?

Speaker 8 (20:25):
I don't know.

Speaker 5 (20:26):
Yeah, So they've also paused this whole plan that Donald
Trump had as far as with all of the federal
grants and loans, because that was going to affect so
many people were saying they couldn't get access to their medicaid.

Speaker 3 (20:40):
I mean, there were a lot of things that were
going wrong.

Speaker 5 (20:42):
So they have freezed the federal grant and loans and
it's just a lot of chaos right now.

Speaker 3 (20:48):
People have no idea what's about to happen.

Speaker 5 (20:50):
There's already people who are suing the Trump administration and
we'll get more into that. All right, Well, that is
your under the radar. Now, we do have the way
it mixed. At the top of the hour, it is
a Wealth Wednesday, so let's take control. I always talk
about how important financial planning is, and Lizetta Braxton is
going to be joining us alongside my Wealth Wednesday partner
Stacy Tisdale, to help you guys out on the path

(21:11):
to making sure that everything is in order, because we
need it now more than ever.

Speaker 3 (21:15):
It's way up, way just like the like.

Speaker 2 (21:17):
The angel like they Angelie, Man, she's spilling it all.
This is yet way up.

Speaker 3 (21:26):
All right, it's way up with Angela.

Speaker 5 (21:28):
Yee, I'm here with Meta. I'm mean in one of
these icebreakers, spill it. Hey, I'm gonna naugh him. My
whole phone is all yeah, wet from Lysol all right.
Kenjack Lamar is teaming up with fashion designer Willie Chavaria
for a limited edition collection that's all for the super Bowl.

Speaker 3 (21:46):
The super Bowl's coming up soon.

Speaker 6 (21:47):
I've been a couple of his fashion shows.

Speaker 5 (21:49):
You have, Yeah, all right, Well, these are going to
be going on sale today actually, and proceeds will be
benefiting organizations and individuals impacted by the wildfires.

Speaker 3 (21:58):
So that's a.

Speaker 5 (21:59):
Beautiful nice I'm looking forward to seeing it. Says at
the Super Bowl.

Speaker 6 (22:04):
Also, what's she gonna be wearing?

Speaker 3 (22:06):
I don't know what is that? That's what you're concerned about.

Speaker 6 (22:10):
It's always it's always a concern.

Speaker 3 (22:12):
All right now.

Speaker 5 (22:13):
Bradley Bill's wife is was upset and a Heckla got
ejected from the Sun's game because their son was left
in tears. Now a fan crossed the line with comments
that emotionally affected her family. This was during the Sun's
wind over the Wizards on Saturday night, and so, according
to the story about what happened, the situation reached a

(22:37):
breaking point in the fourth quarter. A fan was screaming
out basically about you know that Bradley Bill needs to
be traded, saying all kinds of really crazy things. It's
not just like a you know, you're terrible you. I
don't know if I can say this word you. I
can't say it.

Speaker 6 (22:57):
What what you suck?

Speaker 5 (22:59):
Okay, because I didn't get so nervous. Yeah, no, you know,
just saying like you suck, like you're terrible, you suck.

Speaker 3 (23:04):
That's fine.

Speaker 5 (23:05):
But when people are yelling out trade this bum. Curse, curse,
curse for Jimmy Butler. She said. Her six year old
with tears in his eyes, was asking why would somebody
say that about his dad? Talking about Bradley Beal, she
said security had to intervene, or she said I was
going to So here's where Bradley Bill had to say
about the whole situation.

Speaker 6 (23:23):
I mean, I almost left a huddle with thirty seconds
left in the fourth.

Speaker 9 (23:26):
I don't know.

Speaker 10 (23:27):
I was gonna say, honestly, is my wife and my
son crying on the front road and my wife turned
around yell at.

Speaker 6 (23:33):
Somebody, and I just want to make sure that she
was good.

Speaker 2 (23:36):
Once the security was taking care of it him, We're good.

Speaker 9 (23:39):
You know.

Speaker 5 (23:40):
The question is though, because I was looking at people's
comments because I do that sometimes just to see a
lot of people were saying, you know, keep it respectful,
that you don't have to do all that. The man's
family is there, the kids are there, the kids are crying.
But some people were like, oh, this is what you know,
it's sports like tough enough.

Speaker 3 (23:55):
What do you think about that?

Speaker 1 (23:56):
I don't know, I'll be I would feel some kind
of way if I was my face and remember was
a player.

Speaker 6 (24:01):
Right and I was sitting over there.

Speaker 3 (24:03):
And you're screaming out yeah, crazy.

Speaker 6 (24:05):
Things, Yeah, I'll start punching.

Speaker 16 (24:07):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (24:08):
Yeah, So his wife, Kamaia Adams Biale, went on social
media and said athletes are human, they have families. Be
a fan, but keep it respectful because if we keep
it real, most talking crazy behind a keyboard or not
in someone's face would be the first to ask for
a picture outside. Hope this clears things up, back to
enjoying my day with my family. The main thing is
when you see your kid crying, right, all right? Karen

(24:28):
from Real Housewives of Potomac is scheduled to return home.
She was supposed to get back home yesterday. She did
an out of state rehab program. Auntie's preparing for her
DUI sentencing with her new legal team. She fired her
old team. She pleaded guilty to driving well. Jerry found
her guilty of driving under the influence, negligent driving, and
failure to control speed to avoid collision. There was also

(24:51):
an additional charge of reckless driving that was dismissed. She
crashed her twenty seventeen miles of riding into a tree
back in March of twenty twenty four. So you know,
right now she's focusing on on getting better. So she
made the important decision to enter a private recovery program.
She didn't make it to the reunion, and so I
guess she's not on the show right now. All right,

(25:12):
well that is your yee t when we come back.
We have asked yee eight hundred two nine two fifty
one fifty as a number, call us up any question
you have, Mane and I.

Speaker 3 (25:21):
Are here to help you.

Speaker 6 (25:22):
Got it.

Speaker 3 (25:23):
You see his award. He's an award winning.

Speaker 6 (25:25):
Advice giver waiting.

Speaker 5 (25:26):
I know that's right, ask ye eight hundred two ninety
two fifty one fifty go gay.

Speaker 7 (25:31):
Everybody since whether it's relationship or career advice, Angela's dropping facts.

Speaker 2 (25:36):
You should know. This is ask gee, what's up?

Speaker 3 (25:39):
His way up? By Angela?

Speaker 16 (25:40):
Yee.

Speaker 5 (25:40):
I'm here with the award winning advice giver winning Mano
and we got somebody who wants to remain anonymous on
the line. What's up?

Speaker 8 (25:47):
That's up?

Speaker 11 (25:48):
I got a complete question.

Speaker 8 (25:50):
I know you always talk about how you and mother
and father are divorced, but they stayed in the same household.

Speaker 3 (25:56):
They've been doing that for since I was a teenager.

Speaker 8 (25:59):
How did that work? Like I'm booming through it right now,
Like I'm saying that the voice papers this weekend, and
she's like, I don't want you going away? How does
that work?

Speaker 5 (26:10):
It works for them, but I feel like I never
felt like it was the best idea, because you know,
at some point people need to be able to move
on with their lives. And then you become like roommates,
and then are you ever going to really like enjoy
what you could have enjoyed if you're still in the
same house with somebody. Have all of the kids, the.

Speaker 8 (26:27):
Kids are grown, like my youngest is like twenty two.

Speaker 5 (26:30):
Oh, so what would be the point in staying there?

Speaker 6 (26:32):
Can you bring your new ladies over?

Speaker 3 (26:34):
Because then you can't even do anything that's up?

Speaker 6 (26:37):
Are you allowed to bring your new ladies over? And now,
of course not, this is what I'm saying.

Speaker 5 (26:43):
And what if she brought a man home? Wouldn't that
be weird for you to exactly, that's weird. You don't
want a man up in your house? Why does she
want a divorce?

Speaker 11 (26:54):
Years ago?

Speaker 8 (26:55):
With infidelity drinking, I would do, but I always took
care of the crib.

Speaker 3 (27:01):
What do you want?

Speaker 8 (27:02):
I want a marriage?

Speaker 5 (27:03):
Honestly, Okay, have you told her that?

Speaker 11 (27:06):
Yeah? I went from doing little stuff like cords, flowers
to doing big like every other day you got a
new pshoe in the house, and it's like, I'm trying
to how you love and I'm like.

Speaker 2 (27:17):
What the I do?

Speaker 3 (27:19):
So she doesn't want you to buy her things.

Speaker 5 (27:20):
She wants to spend time and see improvement and feel
the love from you.

Speaker 8 (27:25):
Cult that's efect because all I would do is work.

Speaker 5 (27:28):
To me, it seems like she doesn't want you to leave.
She doesn't necessarily want to get divorced, but she feels
like she's at the end of her rope. But she
still wants you in the house. So it feels like
you still have an opportunity to try to prove to
her that you can be the man that she wants.

Speaker 8 (27:43):
Yeah, and she said, I tried everything, so I gotta
try something different to catch your attention. But the people
the ain't gonna catch my attention.

Speaker 3 (27:50):
I mean it did.

Speaker 5 (27:51):
It's her way of letting you know that she means business.
And I'm sure that sometimes she feels like that is
what she wants, but other times she doesn't. And so
the fact that you have have a little bit of
a Okay, there's a window there. You got to really
figure out what it is that you need to do.
You said you're willing to go to therapy. Why don't
you set up the therapy session? Why don't you be
the person to be proactive in figuring that out and

(28:14):
scheduling that for you guys, why don't you go to
therapy on your own? Also?

Speaker 3 (28:18):
To show how serious?

Speaker 8 (28:20):
Now for the last two months and she actually even
said she was with.

Speaker 5 (28:25):
Me okay, perfect, So this is something that can be said.
Was the last time y'all went somewhere, took a trip,
did something fun?

Speaker 6 (28:33):
When the last time y'all had a threesome?

Speaker 3 (28:34):
Shut up? May No, that ain't gonna help.

Speaker 11 (28:39):
What will anonymous?

Speaker 6 (28:43):
Oh?

Speaker 5 (28:43):
Yeah, you're not serious, sir, he're not serious.

Speaker 2 (28:49):
Serious, No, he's not balance.

Speaker 5 (28:52):
Don't do this to that woman, sir. If you can't
be the right man, let her find the right man.
Don't do this to that woman.

Speaker 6 (28:59):
You need to stop it.

Speaker 11 (29:00):
Nah.

Speaker 8 (29:00):
But if I get it in my head, Oh my god,
I'm gonna put three on your one.

Speaker 2 (29:06):
You get them all right?

Speaker 6 (29:07):
That's right?

Speaker 3 (29:07):
You ain't did nothing? Yeah you yeah? She deserves better?

Speaker 12 (29:10):
Yeah?

Speaker 5 (29:11):
Don't you want her to be happy? Why are you
doing this to her? Why are you dragging this out
and not be so judgmental. You already did enough.

Speaker 11 (29:17):
I had you, you had to.

Speaker 6 (29:18):
This is the fact.

Speaker 3 (29:20):
Was whown you a man?

Speaker 5 (29:21):
No hangout?

Speaker 6 (29:22):
I don't know.

Speaker 5 (29:23):
He got an extra he got an extra room. You
can stay with him. You don't got to stay in
that house.

Speaker 6 (29:28):
Like listen, the.

Speaker 3 (29:29):
Kids are matter of fact. I'm gonna take her out.

Speaker 16 (29:34):
Damn.

Speaker 6 (29:34):
You know what I never thought i'd see today. When
you put that hay Sue on, I was on.

Speaker 8 (29:39):
I never heard this in my life.

Speaker 3 (29:42):
It's the year the Snake.

Speaker 5 (29:43):
We gotta clear cut the grass and clear the snakes out.

Speaker 6 (29:46):
Can we get that salt? Please?

Speaker 5 (29:48):
Listen? Man, sir bye, he don't want no help. All right?
Well that was ask ye eight hundred and two nine
two fifty one fifty. If you couldn't get through that,
I had to go though. Sorry. And when we come back,
it's a Wealth Wednesday and we have Lyzetta Braxton joining
us alongside my Wealth Wednesday co host Stacy Tisdale. It's

(30:09):
way up.

Speaker 13 (30:10):
I had a dream of wealthy and I don't mind
sharing my wealth.

Speaker 7 (30:13):
Dog Get you straight financially, mentally and physically. This is
Wealth Wednesday on Way Up with Angela Yee.

Speaker 3 (30:20):
What's up? Its way up with Angela Yee. It's a
Wealth Wednesday.

Speaker 5 (30:22):
So of course my Wealth Wednesday partner, Stacy Tisdale is here.

Speaker 12 (30:26):
Happy Wealth Wednesdays, everybody.

Speaker 5 (30:27):
We also have with us Lyzetta Braxton. And you're a
financial planner, a wealth manager. Yes, also, but you and
Stacy actually have a program together.

Speaker 12 (30:37):
Yes, we created Change your Mind, Change Your Money, which
is a mentoring program and also a course. So I
went on what I had no idea was going to
be a six year research project into what drives financial behavior.
Was able to see that the problem is that when
we have trouble with numbers, we go straight to the numbers.
I have to earn more, save more, spend less. But

(30:58):
the real causes of our financial experience have got nothing
to do with numbers. It has to do with what
we believe about ourselves. It has to do with the
ways in which we learned about money, and most important,
it has to do with us not knowing how to
manage that. Also, it's a skill, it's a science. It's
there's real techniques that help you actually shift your mindset.
And I'm glad we're talking about this. When resolutions are

(31:21):
fading because willpower will get you there about sixty percent
of the time. It's really about rewiring your perspective, and
Lizette is one of the few financial planners that I
know that actually integrates that into how she plans for people.

Speaker 13 (31:34):
There's also a lot of information that is not clearly
communicated based on what a financial plan really looks like. Okay,
when you get this information, what do you do with it?
It it feels so overwhelming. I'm walking hand in hand
with my clients. So I love the concept of a
no fear, no shame zone when it comes to having

(31:56):
these important money conversations with people who un understand the
basic ins and outs of how money works, how it integrates,
and your decision making, how these resources support your life.
And for me, I'm on this journey of real wealth
where we are aligning mission, your goals, your mind, and

(32:19):
your money as well too.

Speaker 12 (32:20):
If you align your finances to what's really important to you,
not what you see on TV should be important to you,
not what society's telling you what is important to you,
you will tend to have enough.

Speaker 3 (32:31):
Right now, It's a wealth Wednesday.

Speaker 5 (32:32):
I'm with Stacy Tisdale, my partner and we are talking
to Lizetta Braxton, who is a financial planner and a
wealth manager. I want to talk more about that because
I was talking to one of my friends the other
day and she was like, I don't want to be rich.
I just want to be okay and have everything taken
care of. But I also feel like there's nothing wrong

(32:53):
with wanting to be rich. But for some reason, I
feel like we're also conditioned to believe that we should
be fine with just being okay. My take on it
is kind of know you're enough, and the enough is
different for everyone.

Speaker 3 (33:06):
So what does.

Speaker 6 (33:07):
Being rich mean?

Speaker 3 (33:09):
That could mean a certain.

Speaker 13 (33:10):
Dollar amount, or it could be the quality of life
you're living that doesn't require the five million or the
ten million. So I would be kind of leery about
putting a certain dollar amount to the concept.

Speaker 5 (33:24):
Of what feels rich what feels wealthy.

Speaker 12 (33:28):
Step one in any financial planning process is to get
a real visceral connection to what your priorities are. Think
about these three questions.

Speaker 6 (33:37):
If you had all.

Speaker 12 (33:38):
The money in the world, what are you doing with
your life and your time? Question Number two, You've gone
to the doctor and you find out you have five
to ten years left to live. How would you change
your life? Where would you be, what would you be doing?
Who would you be with? Third and final question, this
is your last day on earth. The question is what

(33:58):
are your regrets? What do you sorry you didn't do?
Starting your financial planning process like that, you really clarify
what's important to people.

Speaker 5 (34:07):
Lazetta Braxton, financial Planner Extraordinaire, and Stacy Tisdela Here it's
Wealth Wednesday. We have more with them when we come back.
We're going to be talking about their course and program.
Change your mind, change your money. It's way up.

Speaker 13 (34:19):
Got a dream of wealthy and I don't mind sharing
my wealth dog.

Speaker 7 (34:22):
Getting you straight financially, mentally and physically. This is Wealth
Wednesday on way up with Angela Yee?

Speaker 3 (34:28):
What's up? This way up with Angela Yee.

Speaker 5 (34:30):
I'm here with my girls Stacy Tisdale for Wealth Wednesday
and we have financial planner Wealth Manager Lyzetta Braxton in
the building.

Speaker 3 (34:37):
Now, Stacy, what can we expect from your course?

Speaker 12 (34:40):
We're talking a lot about financial planning, we talk a
lot about investing, we talk a lot about all those
sorts of things, but quite frankly, most of your financial
outcomes happen in a moment. Eighty percent of men negotiate
their first salary. Seven percent of women negotiate their first salary.
We're not conditioned to advocate for ourselves financially. Not sociating

(35:00):
your first salary cost you eight hundred and fifty thousand
dollars over the course of a career. Now imagine that invested.
So women take time out of work for elder care,
for childcare, so our social security benefits are less, our
retirement funds are left. Eighty nine percent of poverty stricken
elderly are women. It's because in that moment, if we

(35:24):
would have negotiated that salary, it would have been a
completely different outcome. So the point of our work is
when you're in that moment to have enough self awareness
to know, oh, I got to watch out for that
pattern and do something differently, your willingness to do something differently,
and once I help you see what your limiting beliefs are,

(35:44):
those limiting patterns are, and let you rewrite your own story.
Lizetta knows how to put it into a financial plan.

Speaker 3 (35:51):
Right now. It's a wealth Wednesday.

Speaker 5 (35:52):
I'm with Stacy Tisday, I my partner, and we are
talking to Lizetta Braxton, who is a financial planner and
a wealth manager. Now, Lazette, if I were going to
join your program, how are you and Stacey working together?

Speaker 13 (36:03):
I love our partnership because it's anchored in human capital.
I mean, most of us do not have the opportunity
to have money just passed down to us and start
our businesses to buy.

Speaker 5 (36:13):
Our new home.

Speaker 13 (36:14):
So the work on realizing that you are your biggest
asset and how to use what you bring to the
table and align with the money that you're currently making
to come up with this plan goals. A lot of
that is done in Stacy's work. The mindset, A lot
of that is done in Stacy's work, and then I
get to bring in those goals, those values that she's

(36:36):
helped open up to carve into looking at tax planning, investments,
retirement planning, college planning, if you decide to have children,
or if you want to go back yourself, insurance planning,
life stages, whether you want to get married, expand your family.
Some people are going through the Great divorce. It's very

(36:59):
comprehensile and its approach to the technical aspects of financial planning,
but what it's anchored in is the life and legacy
you desire and you deserve, so in the partnership it
opens up putting everything on the table, reshifting things that
no longer serve you, setting up the boundary so that
you are free to focus on you as being the

(37:22):
asset for major investments, and then making those wise decisions
about how to invest in your retirement account and your
brokerage account and your five twenty nine account. If you
have children, your state planning documents are they done? Can
you use your employee benefits to help you get the
assistance you need?

Speaker 5 (37:41):
Where can people sign up and like find this so
they can get the information to change their mind and
change their money.

Speaker 12 (37:47):
You can go to Stacytsdale dot com and for Alia
Stacey is ey folks Stacytsdale dot com. You can sign
up for our course our mentoring program. You can follow
me on Instagram, follow Wealth Wednesdays on Instagram. And Lizetta
you can follow She's Elizetta Braxton on Instagram. But we're

like just because yeah yeah, stop playing, think about your
goals where you see yourself later in life, how you
want to be living, and start working towards it.

my sister's ex boyfriend and now they are back together.
