So you are the founder and still the CEO, yes,
CEO Okay of that neighborhood talk so many questions. Let
me see what y'all wrote about me. You know, I'm
playing okay, because yeah, that's what we called you here for. No,
(00:29):
I'm kidding, but no, I appreciate you for coming because
we got so much to talk about. You also are
launching a skincare line and we're going to talk about
that later too. But yesterday was that Super Bowl, and
so I got to see what y'all have posted about that.
But Kendrick Lamar is the talk of the town. I
had a little Super Bowl party at my coffee shop
cup after dark, and so I posted a little video.
(00:52):
Everybody was screaming out a minor at the same time.
They was going crazy.
Speaker 2 (00:57):
So what did you think you think Drake did his
big one? I mean, not Drake, but I.
Speaker 1 (01:00):
Was like, ooh not definitely not dreams man. But we
are no listen, I want to get your opinion on
a lot of things when it comes to that. But
We're going to get the show started with some lov
and positivity. Person foremost all right, eight hundred and two
nine two fifty one fifty call us up, let us
know who you would like to shine a light on.
His way up, Kyle Anthony's here.
Speaker 3 (01:19):
Turn your lights on, y'all, spreading love to those who
are doing greatness. Shine the light on, Shine the light on.
It's time to shine a light on.
Speaker 1 (01:30):
It's way up with Angela Yee. And I'm here with
the founder and CEO of the Neighborhood Talk, Kyle Anthony.
Woo and I know you want to shine a light today.
Who do you want to shine a light on?
Speaker 2 (01:39):
Yeah, I want to shine a light on our brand manager, Brody.
He's been Hey Brody, Yeah, bro bro So he's been phenomenal.
I've been on him. I've been you know, we've been.
I've been yelling at him, but he has, you know,
stuck through. And I'm prateful for him because he got
me here with you all today. Let me hear you
yell because I don't even Oh no, it's on the list.
(02:00):
It includes one of them words on there. Oh really yeah,
about four of them?
Speaker 1 (02:04):
Okay, all right, all of you well, good. When Brody
write that book, then we know you sign a form.
We can't talk about me. So you may signed the NBA. Yes,
but he made me so one too. Okay, I'm not
mad you want to sign. Okay, you signed one too.
I was like, I'm not telling your business, but you know,
it is important to have somebody that is going to
like handle the scheduling, handle your business. Make sure you're
(02:25):
in the right spaces, make sure you're onward and upward.
The team is what helps you succeed. That is true.
As always. I'll shine a light on him today today,
but later on back to business as usual. All right,
I feel you on that. I do the same thing
up here. All right. Well, eight hundred and two ninety
two fifty one fifty is a number. Let's spress some
(02:45):
love of some positivity. What's up, adele? Who do you
want to shine a light on?
Speaker 4 (02:49):
I might just turn around an elite segment. They're like
a personal training empire, like had some major results. They
give your meal plans, thirty minute professions and then they
post your results on their ig. So I was blessed
to them, and I want to shot them out and
give us a chance to check them out the BMV.
They have about eight locations and they're doing this thing.
Speaker 1 (03:08):
So it's like a nutrition workout regimen or what is it?
Speaker 4 (03:11):
Well tell me these personal training, but they do it differently.
So you have your signal trainer. Your sussions are thirty minutes.
They give you a meal plan and through them, I
lost about a one hundred and ten pounds.
Speaker 1 (03:21):
Oh congratulations, that's a big deal and you feel better.
Speaker 4 (03:25):
I feel better, healthy, stronger. So check them out on
ig I look at the results for yourself and feel
free to sign up.
Speaker 1 (03:31):
All right, well, thank you ad adele us that weight good,
thank you for calling. All right, well that was shine
a light eight hundred and two ninety two fifty one
fifty if you couldn't get through. And when we come back,
we got to start talking about the Super Bowl asap. Now,
Kyle Anthony, as you know, is guest hosting from the
Neighborhood Talk and I know you have a lot to
say yes and nicely, so we're going to talk about
(03:54):
it in ET when we come back.
Speaker 2 (03:55):
It's way up in the room from industry JA to
all the gossip out SA Angela's spilling.
Speaker 3 (04:02):
That ET.
Speaker 1 (04:05):
All right, his way up with Angela Yee and I'm
here with Kyle Anthony, perfect timing as the founder of
the Neighborhood Talk. And the Super Bowl was yesterday with
the halftime show that we were all wondering what was
about to happen?
Speaker 2 (04:16):
Right, Yeah, I'm sure if I was straight, I would
be somewhere high and right now because it was brutal.
Speaker 1 (04:23):
It was brutal. So let's first talk about the halftime show.
We know the Eagles one, yes, forty twenty two, and
Donald Trump was there. That's the first ever I think
sitting president to attend the Super Bowl. Didn't go well
for his team. But let's talk about Samuel L. Jackson
in the building. He kicked off the show, introduced Kenjack lamar.
That was symbolic. He called himself Uncle Sam, which is
(04:44):
kind of like alluding to Uncle Tom, but also Jango's character.
We all know what that character was. And then here
he is introducing well right before Kenjack goes into humble
no no.
Speaker 5 (04:55):
No, no, no, no, gettle, do you really know how to.
Speaker 6 (05:06):
Play in the game?
Speaker 1 (05:11):
Nobody? All right? And then one question, of course, not
like us, what did you think did you think that
he was going to perform that song because it was
so much controversy.
Speaker 2 (05:21):
I mean, I thought he wasn't but then in the
back of my mind, I'm like, well, he would be
crazy not to, Like that's one of his biggest songs.
Speaker 1 (05:29):
You know, he won a lot of awards. It like,
why would you not perform that song? And the controversy
It would have looked crazy if he didn't, right, But
then we all saw there was like supposed lawsuits happening.
Would he even legally be able to? It is the
super Bowl, you know it's a super safe environment. Well
he did tease uh not like us and a little bit,
(05:49):
and I was like, oh man, this can't be it.
Listen to this part.
Speaker 7 (05:52):
I want to perform their favorite song. But you know
they loved the suit. Yeah, that song I think about
No what I slowed down say, ladies, do me this solent.
Speaker 3 (06:05):
O You're lost your damn mom. This month almost seven.
Speaker 1 (06:17):
And Sisa came out and did Luthor with him. Says that,
by the way, he could do a Super Bowl halftime show.
I was thinking that while I was watching I Love
Me Some. Sissa and Kenjick is the first ever rapper
the solo headline the Super Bowl halftime show, and there
was a lot of symbolism, and I know we were
talking about that before this break came on. They were
showing basically you know, uh, the red, white and blue symbol, like.
Speaker 2 (06:40):
The stars they were like connected, and I think that
was to show like the unity because I read something
online that it said, like with the American flag, you know,
the stars aren't connected, so you know it shows the division,
but with you know, them holding as it was a unity.
Speaker 1 (06:55):
And that's the thing about Kenjick. It's always like hitting messages.
You know, you see a part where he's standing there,
it's like on the backs of black people, like what
this country was built on. And then he did do
not like us, and this is what we were all
waiting for.
Speaker 5 (07:07):
Yeah, what America walks nice, You're almost there, don't mess.
Speaker 7 (07:17):
I don't know. It's a cultural divide. I'm gonna get
it on the floor.
Speaker 1 (07:22):
You really about to do it?
Speaker 7 (07:23):
Forty yagers in the muse. This is bigger than the music.
Speaker 1 (07:26):
You really about to do it.
Speaker 7 (07:27):
Yeah, they tried to break the game, but you can't
fake influence.
Speaker 5 (07:32):
Like that.
Speaker 7 (07:32):
And I'm tripping, I'm slapping, I'm brought through the.
Speaker 1 (07:34):
Back like and mast, it was there. Serena Williams was
there crip walking, which was also symbolist.
Speaker 2 (07:42):
Yes, yes, because as you know Serena women, she used
to do the crip walk at Wimbledon and she ended
up getting fined for it. So it was nice to
see her, you know, bring that out here and do
the one two steps you know Drake's X.
Speaker 1 (07:55):
So it was like for her husband. Yeah, so that's it.
She right there representing. He also had on an a
minor chain in case you didn't notice that. And there
was one part when he says say, Jake, I see you,
like I hear you like a young He looks right
into the camera like, hey, Drake, like you were watching this,
I see you. And so yeah, it was. It was
(08:17):
quite a show. I do want to say, I see
people also criticizing it, but I was excited watching it.
I just want to say, did.
Speaker 2 (08:25):
You hear about the man that was a part of
his dancers that like was running across the stage with
like a Palestine flag.
Speaker 1 (08:32):
Oh, and then they tackled him and yeah, I've seen
all of that.
Speaker 3 (08:35):
Man.
Speaker 1 (08:35):
What a night last night was. They also are saying
that Academics is getting sued by the NFL for leaking
that set list. And here's academics.
Speaker 6 (08:43):
The NFL hit me act.
Speaker 1 (08:44):
We're gonna sue you.
Speaker 3 (08:46):
Yo.
Speaker 2 (08:46):
They sent me an email this morning they said, don't
mention the track list because apparently when we leaked it,
they got paranoid.
Speaker 3 (08:54):
You know what I did.
Speaker 7 (08:56):
I went live on Rumble and I leaked that.
Speaker 1 (08:59):
Okay, I mean we should try not to get sued.
But that's just my thoughts. But anyway, that's your Yet.
When we come back about last night, we'll talk more
about what we did last night. You'll let us know
why you're in town. To Kyle, Yes, because y'all not
ready all right, it's way out.
Speaker 3 (09:13):
So about last night. Yes, I went down.
Speaker 1 (09:19):
It's way up at the Angela Yee, and I'm here
with Kyle Anthony, my guest host for the day, the
founder of the Neighborhood Talk. So you're in New York,
So tell us what you're in town for and what
you did over the weekend.
Speaker 2 (09:31):
Well, I'm in town because I had to come here
to do your show. But over the weekend I had
an event at Julyan's, which is a nice restaurant. The
city it was in, I don't know New York like that.
I just arrived and yeah, I was here.
Speaker 1 (09:47):
That's how I am when I travel. I don't know
where I'm at, but there.
Speaker 2 (09:49):
Just give me the directions of the uber and I'm there.
And I had an event just you know, just to
connect with some people in New York City, some some
little you know, shaky It's ax.
Speaker 1 (09:59):
Yeah, that's crazy that I wasn't invited you. I was
who told me you were invited? Dan? You invited me?
I didn't see that.
Speaker 2 (10:08):
Okay, all right, we're invited to everything we have in
New York.
Speaker 1 (10:12):
I would have came out. I was here this weekend,
which is unusual. This is like my only weekend that
I was I'm gonna be here for like the next
few weeks as I went on to All Star On Wednesday,
I head out for All Star for the NBA Foundation,
but taking advantage of being here this weekend, spent some
time doing some things to my house. My girl Chella
is staying with me from Chicago. It actually snowed.
Speaker 2 (10:34):
Yes, I was like, okay, you had some clean dar. No,
I stayed in.
Speaker 1 (10:37):
I don't like snow, so I was dealing with the
snow and shoveling the snow and her flight got canceled
so twice oh because of the weather. So I think
she just got out of here today. And then the
Super Bowl and I had a little Super Bowl gathering
at my coffee shop. Shout out to everyone who came out.
April Walker, who is a legend, Walk Aware, my guys
(10:57):
from bag Fuel, Heineken, and s O came out. We
had a good time just watching it. I had some
friends that I used to work with back in the day.
It's nice like to come together in an environment like that.
All of us, my girl Dahlia, everybody came out. We
had a good time. So so where was my invite?
My girl Kiki. I didn't even know you were in
town yet until this morning. I really did not want
(11:19):
it came out this weekend. I really would have. But
you know what we are going to have fun with
right now that you're going to enjoy. Tell us a secret.
Eight hundred tue nine to two fifty one fifty is
the number any secret that you have, Kyle and I
and I here to judge you. You might make it onto
the neighborhood talk, depending on what it is that you're
talking about. Spicy, Yeah, tell us a secret. A spicy
(11:39):
one could be with a celebrity. We'll bleep the name out.
But eight hundred two nine two fifty one fifty call
us up, tell us a secret. It's a no judgment zone.
You are anonymous. Don't try to top what somebody did
last week. Don't do not try to top what happened
on Friday with a god calling us and he smokes
crack on the weekends. Eight hundred two nine two fifty
one fifty, call us up, tell us it's secret.
Speaker 3 (12:00):
Oh yeah, this is a judgment free zone. Tell us
a secret.
Speaker 1 (12:05):
It's way up at Angela. Yeah, I'm here with the
founder of the Neighborhood Talk, Kyle Anthony, who's guest Hostingo
boo boo. All right, let's see how it goes today.
So it's that time we have tell us a secret.
That's where people call us up and they get to
stay anonymous and we don't judge me listen, but we
don't judge. Thank you, Thank you Kyle for that. At
least all love. This is a safe space. Yeah, now
(12:27):
we cannot help the comments. Eight hundred two nine fifty
one fifty Hello anonymous, call it what's your secret?
Speaker 3 (12:33):
All right.
Speaker 8 (12:34):
My secret is I have three and I've been with
two females like my whole life on twenty six. It
just seems like once I get comfortable enough with the female,
I tell them and they.
Speaker 3 (12:49):
Just like leave.
Speaker 1 (12:50):
What's the reason that they gave for leaving?
Speaker 6 (12:52):
Oh, they probably look at me like an alien or something.
Speaker 1 (12:55):
I wouldn't worry about that. I would say this. No
matter how much experience you have, every woman likes different things,
so it's always like learning all over again. You are
a blank slate to be molded to the perfect man.
Oh that was nice.
Speaker 4 (13:08):
Yeah, wow, I've never heard of before. Okay, I appreciate.
Speaker 1 (13:13):
Uh huh, there's nothing like barely touch penis. We love
that you still wanted to be a little experienced.
Speaker 6 (13:21):
I'm over here, Jesus.
Speaker 4 (13:23):
Now, y'all have a.
Speaker 6 (13:24):
Good one, all right.
Speaker 1 (13:24):
See, it's all about how you look at it. He's selective.
Speaker 7 (13:27):
Hey, you guys missed the part where he said he
had three testicles.
Speaker 1 (13:31):
Oh I definitely didn't hear that. I thought he was
it alien because he's only been inexperienced. Wow, well that's different.
What's that anonymous color? How are you?
Speaker 3 (13:40):
I'm doing well?
Speaker 1 (13:41):
How are you I'm good. You want to tell me
in Kyle a secret?
Speaker 9 (13:44):
Last year, in August of twenty twenty four, I got married.
I met my husband August twenty first, and he married
me September fifteenth.
Speaker 1 (13:54):
So wait, you got married like less than a month
after you met your husband.
Speaker 9 (13:58):
Yeah, and nobody in my family knows.
Speaker 1 (14:00):
Oh, so they think you guys are just dating. Yeah,
what made you get married so fast?
Speaker 9 (14:06):
Well, I'm older, I'm like in my late thirties, and
I just kind of want to settle down. He's a
very goot guy so far.
Speaker 1 (14:16):
Been a couple of months.
Speaker 3 (14:17):
Don't live with.
Speaker 9 (14:17):
Each other though, Yeah, we can't live with each other,
so we have like this kind of long distance marriage.
Speaker 1 (14:23):
Is he a citizen?
Speaker 2 (14:25):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (14:26):
Yeah, okay, just making sure.
Speaker 9 (14:29):
Yeah, he's from Louisiana.
Speaker 2 (14:31):
Are you happy with the marriage? Like, are you content
with it or do you? Are you having second thoughts yourself?
Speaker 9 (14:37):
I have second thoughts every now and then, but overall,
I'm content.
Speaker 1 (14:42):
I'm not known of that. We neither. I mean there's
some people that yolo quickly. Right, you only live once,
but you can marry several times, right to right? But
are you thinking about moving in together and telling your
family at some point.
Speaker 9 (14:57):
Yeah. So we're thinking of telling them on our were anniversary.
But he's gonna propose. I don't even know if we're
ever gonna tell them that we gotten married.
Speaker 1 (15:07):
He's gonna do a fake proposal. You're gonna be fake shocked. Yeah,
and then you have a fake wedding. You're gonna go
to the courthouse like that. Oh you got married in Vegas,
but y'all.
Speaker 9 (15:18):
Drunk, No, we were, so.
Speaker 2 (15:21):
You could do another wedding end because you know, people
say Vegas doesn't count technically.
Speaker 1 (15:26):
I mean you still licensed, if you get your license
and everything.
Speaker 9 (15:28):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, and we still want wedding gifts.
Speaker 6 (15:31):
So girl, the wedding gifts.
Speaker 1 (15:35):
Oh gee, tind me of that Bruno Mayras song. I
think I want to marry you well and enjoy your husband.
Speaker 9 (15:42):
Okay, I am. I am. Thank you for keeping my secret.
Speaker 1 (15:45):
No problem, you got it. You got this. That's not bad,
all right? All right? Well that was tell us a
secret eight hundred two nine two fifty one fifty in
case you couldn't get through. And when we come back,
we have your yet a lot of Kanye West drama.
I can't even keep I know he did so much,
like what's going on every second is something different, but
we'll talk about it. It's way up.
Speaker 3 (16:06):
Oh, she's about to blow the lead ab off this spot.
Speaker 1 (16:08):
Let's get it.
Speaker 3 (16:09):
Oh yeah, angelus feeling that yee te Come and get
the tea.
Speaker 1 (16:13):
It's way up at Angela.
Speaker 2 (16:14):
Yee.
Speaker 1 (16:14):
I'm here with the founder and CEO of the Neighborhood Talk,
Kyle Anthony. Yes, yes, and let's get into some yet.
By the way, Kanye dropped his debut album, The College
Drop Out twenty one years ago today. Just thought I
would say that. But he also is off of x
AKA Twitter right now. Elon Musk basically said that he
(16:34):
was posting a bunch of NSFW and not Safe for
work items. There was some porn on there and which
by the way, is all over Twitter. Yeah. I don't
think that's what got him. I know, the page gone.
I mean, he made some interesting posts about Cassie.
Speaker 2 (16:50):
And Diddy, like I don't I don't know if you remember,
but in the video she had like a hoodie hoodie
home of like a Swatska on the back of it,
And now he's selling that hoodie on his website. And
that's just a little distasteful.
Speaker 1 (17:04):
You know if you ask me, well, the hoodie that
she was wearing when when Diddy was beating her, he's
selling him. And then he also was selling these Swasika
shirts because I don't think she had on a Yeah,
she didn't have on a.
Speaker 2 (17:15):
Swash, but he like referenced it like shortly after. But
it looks like but it is not.
Speaker 1 (17:22):
But and you know, he's been posting a lot of
different things. He did a twelve hour anti semitic rant
on there. He said it was a social experiment and
he also gained three hundred and fifty thousand new followers
from that. He said a special thank you to Elina.
Actually love everybody, especially fat women. He said, thank you
(17:43):
and love to my fellow rappers, thank you and love
to all black women, Thank you and love to all gays.
Like just on and on and on. Somebody said, did
Kanye forget that he's fat because he was talking about
fat women so much on his page. Then he went
off on Dave Chappelle. Dave Chappelle is his friend, Like
Dave literally was flying out to see him. He was
flying I remember going to see Kanye West at the
(18:05):
Mercedes Benz Stadium when he did his album and Dave
flew out to that show like that is somebody that
is supposedly Yeah, So he said, why do I target
Dave Chapelle because y'all think he's speaking for black people
when he's really a voice for Jewish agendas. Now put
this something on stage and let him do his I
can't even say this. Well, I name comedians that are
(18:26):
way funnier than you, that don't have as big a name.
How are you gonna call yourself the funniest man on earth,
writ in front of Chris Rock, whose name is actually
bigger than yours. Then he goes on to stage, Rod Carmichael,
Corey Holcom, Luis c k all these people he's saying
are funnier than Dave. But then he did post a
picture of Dave and he said, and I still found
a good picture because I love you, But this ish
is not about emotion. It is a good picture of Dave.
(18:48):
It was you, And I think that's the main thing here.
If somebody's gonna go in on you post a good picture,
he is. You know the picture was good. So I
don't know what's going on with Kanye. It is a
shame to see this. But in the midst of all this,
he did also drop a new song. Yeah, the man
is I mean, the song is actually not bad like
i'd like you. We're like, okay, this song's not bad,
which is crazy because you separate the man from the
(19:10):
music because if you like the song, do you feel
like I don't know if I should listen to this.
But here's a little snippet of the new song that
he dropped. It's a few.
Speaker 3 (19:18):
Tis overcoming, but the checks still.
Speaker 5 (19:23):
Thats to divide it every night, and bady shots stay away.
Speaker 3 (19:26):
To keep my heart yet, so do e tight this?
Speaker 10 (19:29):
Dispect dump sitting trying to redirect up, divide it every night,
and baby shots stay away to keep my heart yet,
so don't exite this.
Speaker 3 (19:38):
Just stake dump still here and a trump.
Speaker 1 (19:40):
Jack jump And that's called Beauty and the Beasts. And
remember that's supposed to be from his new album called
Bully You are by it no, but guys albums for real?
Speaker 7 (19:51):
All right?
Speaker 1 (19:52):
Well that is your yeaty. When we come back, we
have under the radar, the stories that are not necessarily
in the headlines. They're flying under the radar. But you
need to know a bottom.
Speaker 3 (20:00):
It's way up this in the news that relates to you.
These stories are flying under the radar.
Speaker 1 (20:05):
It's way up with Angela. Yeah, and I'm here with
my guy, Kyle Anthony, the CEO of the Neighborhood Talk
and the founder. Let's get into some of these under
the radar stories.
Speaker 2 (20:15):
Now.
Speaker 1 (20:15):
I know earlier you were talking about the protester who
had the flag, the Palestinian flag, the Sudan and Gaza
flag during Kendrick's halftime performance. Yes, well, it turns out
that he was part of the four hundred member cast
oh that was on the field, and that he hit
the flag on himself before the halftime show started, and
(20:35):
he is now banned for life from all NFL stadiums
and events.
Speaker 2 (20:39):
He did all that and wasn't even shown on TV
and now you banned for life.
Speaker 1 (20:43):
But it was a moment. It did go viral, like
you can see video of it. You could see the
flag as the person ran, you know, off the state,
off the stage and got tackled and all of that.
So it did make a moment kind.
Speaker 2 (20:56):
Of But I would have ran up beside Kendrick, you know,
if we really wanted to do it.
Speaker 1 (20:59):
They tackle him too fast for that it wasn't happening.
He went, all right, And it's been chaotic all right
in Philly because they won the Super Bowl, and so
people were just going, I'm looking at all kinds of
different video of what's happening in Philly. But i mean,
you know, the city. They won. It's a big Eagles win.
(21:23):
But be safe, please, you know we're on in Philly,
So everybody, please please be safe and celebrate that way,
celebrate in a positive way. It's a big deal for
the city, all right. And the NAACP is calling for
cancer to be declared a public health crisis in the
black community, according to research from the CDC. But like
Trump was trying to get rid of the CDC if
I'm not mistaken. But anyway, Black people have the highest
(21:46):
death rate for cancer overall, despite being the third largest
largest ethnic racial group between behind white and Hispanic people.
They have a lower overall five year cancer survival rate
than white people and are more likely than white people
to be die those with female breast, lung, and colorectal
cancers at a late stage. So that is why it
should be a public health crisis in the Black community.
(22:08):
The way that our community is affected so much more
and have a higher death rate, higher rates of cancer
diagnoses and fatalities across different types.
Speaker 2 (22:17):
This is something I actually agree with. I think we
definitely need to put this at the forefront.
Speaker 1 (22:23):
Yeah, and also more preventative measures. You know, they said
many cancers can't be prevented by avoiding the use of tobacco,
maintaining a healthy weight, consuming a high fiber nutrient rich diet,
staying physically active, limiting an alcohol intake, getting the HPV
vaccine on schedule, screening tests, and things like that. That
can happen. But there are preventative measures, but there's still
(22:45):
a lot of disparities impacting the black community. All right, Well,
that is you're under the radar now. You know, we
got the way you mixed at the top of the hour.
And Kyle, since you're here today, not only are you
the founder and CEO of the Neighborhood Talk, but you
also have some other ventures that we're going to talk about. Yes,
your skin is amazing, thank you. I'm trying, girl, I'm trying.
Yours is on point. Well, thank you, and we'll talk
(23:06):
about all of that when we come back. It's way
up just like the talk, Like.
Speaker 3 (23:10):
They Angela Jean like they Angelie Jean Man, She's spilling
it all this.
Speaker 1 (23:15):
Is YEATI well, all right, it's way up with Angela Yee.
And I'm here with Kyle Anthony. You know him from
the Neighborhood Talk. Yes, we love a founder up here.
All right, let's get into some yet. So let's talk
about Kanye West and Kodak Black. Now, there was this
video footage of Codac Black. I know you saw it.
(23:36):
He's like sitting outside eating chicken on the sidewalk, like.
Speaker 2 (23:39):
In the street, mm hmm, and people were recording.
Speaker 1 (23:41):
I'm just I'm like, where now are those people with him?
Where are the people with him? Why is this posted?
Was this for something? Or was he you know, I
had a lot of questions when I saw that, you too, well,
Kanye West also was concerned, and here's what he had
to say about wanting to do an invention.
Speaker 10 (24:01):
I've seen this video my brother Kodak, and I feel
a call and he's actually wearing this Donda chain. How
he's sitting here wearing his chain unless something saying to
go and get my brother.
Speaker 3 (24:13):
That's what I'm about to do right now.
Speaker 1 (24:16):
All right, Well, Kodak Black has seen that, and he
did respond. Here's what he said, Kanye a real one,
only giving hope. Where you thinking like, oh listen, crazy
and all this, I don't like that's like what I
clean up. Real nice is a different story. What'd he saying?
He said Kanye is a real one.
Speaker 2 (24:36):
He said he's a real one, and then they like mumble,
you know, Kodak w well going in and out. But
I'm happy he was receptive to it. But I think,
you know, Kanye, although it was a good move, he.
Speaker 1 (24:48):
Need help too.
Speaker 2 (24:49):
So I don't know if right, you know, he's the
best person to lead him in that direction. But I
mean it was nice that he, you know, stepped up
to at least try to help.
Speaker 1 (24:58):
Right, Yeah, I mean I don't know. I just praying
for Kodak me too. I will say that something every
other month. Yeah, there's always something going on with that.
Now let's talk about R. Kelly. He's being sued by
six victims who say that he owes them over nine
point nine million dollars and that's all tied to that
twenty two judgment that they won against him, So six
(25:20):
of them they won that money, and they're also suing
his record label and other parties because they still owe
most of that sum. So he paid a little something something,
but it's not all of it. So you know me,
he ain't got no money. You know, he gotta pay
grounds Brunch a lawsuit he does. His co publishing agreement
(25:40):
with his label ended in March of twenty nineteen, but
the company still collects revenues and does music publishing royalties
to him Moore representatives for all compositions delivered during the
term of the agreement is what they're alleging in this lawsuit.
So there's money coming in somewhere and they want to
make sure, yeah, being allocated. All right, Now, Leangelo Ball
(26:03):
he had quite some drama, didn't he. So he has
two kids with miss Nicky Baby, and she says that
he confessed to cheating on her. Now the woman that
he is now dating, and I don't know if they
had already broken up and he's already dating somebody new,
but he posted her. Her name is Rashida Nicole and
here's what she had to say.
Speaker 7 (26:23):
First of all, they were never married.
Speaker 1 (26:26):
Since she again wants to play big zim, weren't you
texting him saying you were taking you and the kidsoying
me and we allow that boy dog and want you.
They have not been together.
Speaker 7 (26:38):
Whatever the case may be, this lady is a racist.
Speaker 1 (26:43):
Okay, well there you have it, Floyd probably like nah,
I get in it right over here, minding my business.
But yes, a lot of people are winging on this
because it's definitely very public. Miss Nicki Baby said, I
see everyone had been sending me yellow cheating on me.
I want to clear this up and speak my tooth.
I am just as surprises you are. We spent three
and a half years together and last week he decided
(27:03):
to walk out on his kids and tell me he
got someone else pregnant allegedly and is now creating a
new life with her.
Speaker 2 (27:09):
I just think it's wrong, you know. I mean the girls,
she's trying to defend being with them, and it could
have been her. Him and Miss Niki Baby could have
been broken up.
Speaker 1 (27:17):
But she's just had a baby. Yeah, she has a
two month like yeah, and you really thought that was okay?
Speaker 3 (27:24):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (27:24):
I think even if he did move on, like just
lay a little loon for a second. And you know,
cause there are very young children involved, all right, Well
that is your yet when we come back we have
asked you. You ready to get some advice? Kyle, Yes,
two fifty one fifty. Call us up any question you have.
We are here to help you out. Its way up.
Speaker 3 (27:46):
Everybody since with its relationship for career advice, Angela's dropping facts.
Speaker 1 (27:51):
You should know this is as key what's up? His
way up? With Angela. I'm here with my guy Kyle
Anthony from the Neighborhood Talk Tant and it's time to
ask ye. Eight hundred and two nine two fifty one
fifty is a number if you have any question. We
want to help you out. And we have Terry on
the line. What's up, Terry?
Speaker 6 (28:09):
What's up Angela?
Speaker 3 (28:10):
What's Kyle?
Speaker 6 (28:10):
How y'all doing?
Speaker 1 (28:11):
I'm doing good, We're doing fine. How are you?
Speaker 6 (28:15):
I think I'm doing good? But I guess that's part
of my question today for y'allob So, I recently lost
my sister, my older sister, and I don't know. It's
just been confusing. A lot of people are been asking
you know how you feeling, how you're doing, and I
don't know. I guess I don't know how I'm feeling.
So do you have any ideas or any advice on
(28:37):
some coping mechanism or just any.
Speaker 1 (28:41):
Anything maybe you can do because you're not you don't
know how you're feeling yet, and sometimes it takes a
while to process those emotions. I just know it takes time.
And be gentle in yourself. Yeah, be patient, Be gentle
to understand that people are also reaching out because they
want to be helpful, and sometimes you know, just saying
thank you. I really appreciate it, you know, and if
(29:01):
they can't help you, let them know. Like I think
that sometimes we don't want to be a burden on
other people when we're going through things like grief and
with loss and we don't even know how to feel.
And it's okay for you to say I don't even
know how to feel right now because you still haven't
even processed it is what it feels like. And maybe
even making sure that you're doing things to take care
of yourself being alone when you feel like being alone.
(29:24):
But if you want to be around people, you know,
just letting them know, hey, if you could, just you know,
spend a little time. I do want to talk about it,
or I don't want to talk about it. Just whatever
you're feeling in that moment. It's Okay, it's okay to
let yourself cry. It's okay, you know, to look at
pictures to go through whatever it is that you need
to go through. Everybody's journey is going to be different.
Speaker 6 (29:43):
Yeah, I think that's where I'm at. But I just
haven't found the strength of tell people that.
Speaker 1 (29:48):
Have you tried any type of grief counseling?
Speaker 6 (29:51):
No, not yet, I have not.
Speaker 1 (29:52):
I Okay, what has your therapist said?
Speaker 6 (29:56):
She don't know yet because I've been avoiding classes. I
don't know. I just don't want to.
Speaker 1 (30:01):
You don't want to dive onto it. Yeah, you know,
that's what your therapist is there for, to help you
use different things that you can do that you may
not even know that as an expert, they know. So
the more you bottle things up, it's going to be
something that may explode later for you. So I think
it's okay to feel your feels, to go through your emotions,
(30:22):
talk to your therapist. That's what a therapist is there for.
They have a lot of different tools that you can
use to help you through this and maybe right have
you tried writing things down for yourself?
Speaker 6 (30:34):
Yeah, I definitely have been adrenaling.
Speaker 2 (30:36):
I would really go back to that therapy, you know,
just let it out on yeah, let yourself feel it.
Speaker 1 (30:42):
Yeah, thank you all right, Terry, all right, we love you.
We appreciate you for calling and trusting us to even
speak to us.
Speaker 6 (30:49):
All right, thank you both.
Speaker 1 (30:51):
All right, take care all right, Well that was ask yee.
Thank you Terry for calling. Eight hundred and two ninety
two fifty one fifty. And when we come back, we're
about to get you to open up, Kyle, okay, already already.
We are going to talk about what you have going on.
It feels like you had a singing career at some point. No,
just check in, but we'll talk about the Neighborhood Talk
how that all started. And I know you have a
(31:12):
new venture you're working on too that we're going to
talk about today. Is way up.
Speaker 3 (31:16):
Oh you want to know my name? Way up with Angelay?
Speaker 1 (31:21):
What's up? Its way up with Angela yee. And I'm
here with Kyle Anthony from the Neighborhood Talk, not just
from the Neighborhood Talk, but the creator, the founder, yes,
the CEO, and we know you from the Shade Room
previously and when you started the Neighborhood Talk and I
remember that period of time when you first started it
because people saw your name on the Shade Room and
(31:42):
then when you started the Neighborhood Talk, they're like, oh,
that's Kyle from the Shade Room that started his own thing.
Speaker 2 (31:46):
Yeah, it was an interesting journey, Like I'm grateful for
what the Shade Room has done for me because I'll
be honest, like, if I didn't work there, I wouldn't
have the Neighborhood Talk would be where I am because
that page allowed me to build up my own following.
So when I did create the Neighborhood Talk, it was
an easy, you know, transfer to like, Okay, well we
(32:07):
know you, we can you know, we'll support you.
Speaker 1 (32:09):
But was there bad blood because it was kind of
a it does compete somewhere even though there's space for
all of us. We can say that, but somebody like
if one of your writers went and started it's no
bad Blood now based on d Yeah at first, yeah,
at first.
Speaker 2 (32:24):
But I can't even tell you what happened as to
why I no longer you know, worked there. I just think,
you know, sometimes when you work with people and you know,
people kill little you know.
Speaker 1 (32:35):
I ain't gonna say the word, but you gotta go
what I'm getting at you, I don't know what you're
getting at coming.
Speaker 2 (32:41):
I'm like I would have whispered you, wuldn't getting trouble,
you know. I feel like I just was doing a
lot of work there and some people have been a
little jealous and then you.
Speaker 1 (32:51):
Don't get catty. Okay, that happens in the workplace everywhere.
You know. It's interesting because you also said that the
neighborhood talk is not meant to be mess and I
will say, I mean all the blogs at times people
can interpret things the way that they interpret it, but
you do make a concerted effort to make it not
that way.
Speaker 2 (33:08):
Yeah. I mean, I have a you know, conscious and
belief in you know, karma, So I try like I'll
work with you.
Speaker 1 (33:15):
Like if I felt something about you.
Speaker 2 (33:17):
And you didn't like it, you just DM me. I
will take it down like you will. Yeah, we take
stuff down.
Speaker 1 (33:22):
Like I'm not trying to make some people like nope, no,
I'll work with you.
Speaker 2 (33:25):
Now, if it's something that is on every blog, then no,
like I'm not I'm not taking it down. But if
it's just something I have or something, yeah, I'll take
it down. I'm not trying to make you cry.
Speaker 1 (33:36):
Now, you also have a skincare line and we have
to talk about that.
Speaker 2 (33:39):
Yes, so I'm Faced by Kyle that is launching today,
Oh today, Yes, today. We come prepared, not in three
weeks today, people, So you can go on a Face
by Kyle and you can go on Kyle dot Anthony
on my Instagram page to check it out. We have
some rosewater, miss and we also have some anti age
mencerm so you don't aren't cracking and stuff.
Speaker 1 (34:02):
Keep your face in tap. I'm a big fan of serum,
especially in the winter time, but also skincare is I
told you we had a whole conversation about care products
that I like to use. But I always tell people
it's a preventative thing. You got to start taking care
of your face. You can't use the soap you're using
your body on your face. You can't use your body
lotion on your face. Like. You have to use specific
(34:23):
products that's for that. And so I'm excited. What makes
it different, Like, tell me what type of ingredients are
because you know I pay attention to that too. What
is the word hyper allergenic? Hyperlegenic?
Speaker 2 (34:34):
Okay, but yeah, it's definitely that it's for all types
of skin because I have a sensitive skin. Anything that
goes on my face can go on your face because literally,
if it's got a cent.
Speaker 1 (34:46):
Or something in it, my face will break out. All right, well,
face face by Face by Cop make sure you guys
check that out. It's literally out today, So this isn't exclusive. Yes,
all right, we're here for it. Well when we come back,
this is your show. So you you guys have the
last word. Take up the.
Speaker 3 (35:02):
Phone tap to get your voice heard. What the word
is the last word? On Way Up with Angela Yee?
Speaker 1 (35:10):
What's up? His Way up at Angela Yee. I'm here
with Kyle Anthony, the CEO and founder of Neighborhood Talk
and also the founder of Face by Kyle. Okay, but
honestly you heard the big announcement earlier. Congratulations again. I
love the entrepreneur aspect, I love a founder. I told
you that, and skincare all of my favorite things.
Speaker 2 (35:29):
And I just want to thank you for you know,
being a great host. I'm honored that you invited me
to be here.
Speaker 1 (35:35):
And y'all, Oh no, I can come back tomorrow, Yes, yes, yes,
that soon, You'll be here tomorrow. Yes, I can't wait
to see what Tea is breaking tonight for us to
talk about tomorrow. Today, I'm actually gonna be hosting this
panel with different people who are running from mayor in
New York City, some of the heavy hitters, So that
should be interesting. I know you have some running around
(35:57):
to do, so you have an update for us tomorrow. Well,
you guys, this is your show, so you have the last.
Speaker 3 (36:02):
Word wow with them.
Speaker 4 (36:04):
Did I kind of smashed my baby mama, Mama and
it came out in conversation.
Speaker 3 (36:12):
Now, Mama lied, so and so it never happened.
Speaker 4 (36:14):
So I'm trying to figure out who is more wrong,
me Mama.
Speaker 9 (36:19):
I'm calling in a shining light on my daughter in
the they of Freeman.
Speaker 6 (36:22):
She graduates next year.
Speaker 3 (36:23):
She named trade as today's her birthday.
Speaker 10 (36:26):
She's so intelligent, she's beautiful, and she's way more than
Osten at that age. I love you, I'm proud of you.
Speaker 9 (36:34):
I'm so happy to be your mom.
Speaker 1 (36:35):
Happy seventeen birthday, baby girl.
Speaker 9 (36:37):
I'm trying to light on you today.
Speaker 6 (36:38):
I love you.
Speaker 1 (36:40):
It's time.
Speaker 3 (36:41):
I'm about the tub you tapped in and way up
with Angela. Ye.
Speaker 1 (36:46):
I want to now have
