Not enough people talk about breaking up with your friends. That shit is ROUGH!!! As I get ready to exit my 20's I feel the need to share the things I have experienced so far. Frienship breakups being one of the many things.
Hey y'all!
This episode I want to talk to y'all about the importance of advocating for you medical health and medical care. I recently learned that speaking up and continuing to be vocal even when I wanted to give in to what I didn't believe to be true paid off and I finally got the answers that made sense.
Closed mouths don't get fed!!!!!
Happy New Year!!!!
Guess who's back? Yes it's me, back again. I'll explain myself in this episode but I'm back for good this time. Give me another chance and I promise not to disappoint.
Welcome to the first episode of Unfiltered with Court and Des!

I had to chop it up with my guys and get their point of view on things. Steve Harvey said think like a man and what better way to do that then get the answers straight from them? Hear me out now...
Got to talking with my girls about our recent failed relationships and really dissecting the roles that we've played in these mens lives. Trying to make sense out of why it always seems like we are the ones that they learn from for their next. Like make it make sense! SIDE EYE! But hear us out.
OH SHIT!!!! I'm BAAAAAACK!
Told y'all I was going to take a break and I did, and it has been a journey. But it felt like the right time to come back so here I am and I have so much to talk to y'all about.
When you get to a place of comfort with your person, you never expect to get to a point with them where the only thing y'all say to each other is "Hey"!
I had to get transparent with y'all because I'm going through it and I know what I'm feeling will eventually pass but right now its hitting me harder than expected and I just needed to get it off my chest so let me talk to y'all about it! Hear me out ...
What happens when we identify our insecurities? Do we let them take over US or do we do something about them? Get that power back and make them as small as they make us feel at times? How do we gain that SECURITY? Hear me out now...
Overwhelming yourself is a real thing and sometimes we don't know that we are doing it to ourselves until life gets to a point where it seems like we are taking constant "L's". When you get to that point then it's well overdue for you to hit that internal reset button. Let me speak to y'all about my resent experience with overloading myself to the point where overwhelmed was an understatement. Hear me out ...
I'm back and it feels so good!!!
When I was away I had time to think about some things, one of them was how judgmental people can be. Lately people have been telling me that they feel comfortable talking to me about things they wouldn't normally talk about because of the fear of being judged but with me they don't have to worry about that. There's no lie there because at the end of the day we are living for ourselve...
Romanticizing my life during this soft girl journey has been having me feel like a real main character lately and I want to talk to y'all about it! If it's one thing I can honestly recommend to everyone, it's to start doing the same thing for yourself and watch how it boosts your self confidence/mental health. Couple's I highly suggest y'all do it too and fall in love all over again with your person. Hear me out...
Angry Black Girl... a label that I dreaded growing up, but knew one day I would earn. I have always been known to be an emotional person but it wasn't until I entered my adult years that I actually found my voice and started being my own biggest advocate that I earned the "Angry Black Girl" label. The weight that had on me almost broke me at one point until I took it and turned it into my own positive. Hear me out now...
Method Man said " Just be there for me and ima make sure we, be livin in the f'in life of luxury. I'm realizing that you did have to fuck with me, but you did now I'm going all out for you kid, and I got mad love to give..."
Let me talk to y'all about what I've learned on my soft girl journey so far. I can't speak for all women but I can give some insight on what it is that us women want and need from our partner/significant ...
Everyone has their own relationship with their mental health. Mine hasn't always been the healthiest and it still isn't. Hell when I actually started one with mine it was the most toxic relationship that I had going one. But one thing about this relationship is, it's my only consistent relationship and since I have no intentions of separating from it any time soon I finally decided to work on making it a healthy one. Like any relat...

That's something thats difficult but extremely important. Hear me out and let me talk to y'all about it real quick on this episode of Real Shit!
