Speaker 1 (00:01):
The volume. What is going on, everybody? How are we doing?
John Middlecoff three and Now podcast. It's a late one,
(00:21):
It's like eleven thirty on Monday night, but that's what
we do. We work because we had a double header
for Monday night football. So we're gonna dive into Seattle
and Houston Rough offensive performance in the second half. Those
two defenses are sweet though, and then Jared Goff, Jamiir Gibbs,
Dan Campbell and the Lions five and two. The Bucks
(00:41):
are five and two, but Mike Evans breaks his collar bones.
We'll dive into that. Some other league news. We had
something happened with Dre Greenlaw. After that, Denver bronco win,
Brandon Graham is he about to return? And then a
stat I saw with Jackson Dart as well as a
mailbag at Middlecoff is the Instagram fire in those dms?

The official ticketing app of this podcast. Do you want
to go to one of these games? There had to
be people in that Seattle crowd and the place had
to be rocking, thinking like, I'm gonna go to a
World Series game. We're gonna play the Dodgers in the
world so that they're up three to one. Then all
of a sudden, I get a group text. I'm like,
check out the score. Because I wasn't even watching the game,
I assume Seattle was gonna win. Springer hits the home
(01:43):
run the Blue Jays, you know, a little throwback to
Joe Carter when I was a kid. Blue Jays Dodgers.
I don't think that was the World Series, But Dodger
you're gonna smoke them. But if you want to go
to one of these games college football, watching some of
these SEC Big ten environments. You live down in southern California,
and you want to watch my guy, Tim Skipper resurrecting
the UCLA Bruins the NBA. I actually think I'm recording this.

offensive coordinator is obviously hard. It is not easy all
of us, whether you've worked in the NFL, whether you
sell insurance, whether you just gamble a lot on football.
We all can be very critical on our couch, powering
(02:48):
down a gatorade and some popcorn. I'm no different than
any of you. We all scream ubscenities constantly when guys
call bad plays. But the second half of that game,
the Texans against Seattle is an all time head scratcher,
and I'm gonna start with the winning team. Kubiak comes
from a family, that is all. When you say the
(03:10):
Kubiaks the Shanahans, all you think is running the ball,
run the ball, run the ball, run the ball, and
then pass it off. That and tonight it felt like
he was hell bent on proving Sam Darnold is like
an MVP candidate, even up double digit points in the
second half against I don't know if they're the best
defense we can determine based on different metrics. They are
(03:33):
easily one of the most talented defenses in the NFL,
and their two strengths are rushing the passer and dB play.
Derek Stingley is like a Deon Sanders Durell Reeves level athlete.
You're up big and you keep throwing the ball. It
makes no sense. You got two good running backs. The
only way and this goes back to the De Marcado
(03:54):
play when the Titans came back. This goes back yesterday
when the Giants imploded with Denver. The only way. Game
like that, whether you have a big lead or you're
playing an offense that's inept, they can come back, especially
if there's twenty plus minutes on the clock left in
the game. You have to give them a free possession.
And Kubiak's calling these pass plays. I'd even go back
(04:15):
to the touchdown that you know almost was a safety,
but then they fell on it, so it was a touchdown.
It's like you are asking Sam Darnold to throw backed
up in his own end zone. You could blame Sam,
he's doing like a three sixty in the end zone.
You can't turn your back in that moment. But what
are you doing? Why are we out thinking the room here?
Just run the ball. Honestly, the two offensive coordinators tonight
(04:37):
were the polar opposites. One guy, run the ball, run
the ball, run the ball again, and run the ball again.
And I thought, all night, Kubiak, and maybe it's Monday
night football, you're trying to prove you're a star offensive coordinator.
I don't know him personally. I know a lot of
people that know him. They think really highly of him. Clearly,
I think he's pretty talented. But I thought tonight he
(04:58):
got really cute. You go to the first half, they
are kicking the shit out of the Texans. Two touchdowns immediately,
fourteen nothing. They're driving again. It's like you go up
twenty one to nothing against that offense. The game is
over and they are driving right down the field that
they do not need to call trick plays. There is
no trickeration needed. And he calls a double pass or
(05:19):
a wide receiver pass, and Cooper cup throws an interception
and I thought it just bled right into the second
half of that should have been a game that his
dad or the Shanahan family. That's a forty carry game.
And I looked up until the last possession they had
under thirty carries. It's like, it shouldn't have been a
one to one ratio of passes in rush attempts. It
(05:43):
should have been heavily as you got control and your
defense is dominating. It's like, you know, it's very in
vogue to go for it in the NFL all the time.
And listen, I admired Dan Campbell. That's his style. He
never waivers from it. He's pedaled to the medal one
percent down. They're going for it one percent of the time.
(06:04):
Even sometimes you're like Dan, I've probably just kicked the
field goal here, He's like, fuck it, go for it.
And it's like this is part of the deal. And
in fairness to him, he's been consistent with it for years.
Mike McDonald, they mentioned this on the broadcast, Ain't ain't
with that? Well, what is Mike? He's a defensive coach
and what is Mike Half a fantastic defense also who's
he playing? Kind of an inept offense? Why would you
(06:26):
be overly aggressive on fourth down? Punt, kick, field goals,
play defense. Try to score on me. Bet you can't.
But the easiest way they can get back is turning
the ball over. And I can imagine a night Mike
McDonald's like God, I almost called him Garry is a Clint.
The kubiak Son was just I thought he was bad
(06:48):
in the second I thought it kept getting worse, and
I get it early on. Uh, you know, Jackson Smith
and Sam Darnold have like a Montana Rice connection. Right now,
I saw a stat that Jackson Smith and Jigba has
five games of over one hundred yards, which is tied
for second most in franchise history. If he has one
(07:10):
more game, that'll tie the record with Steve Large at
nineteen seventy nine. Now, I would say the history of
Seattle teams don't exactly have the Randy Mosses and Jerry
Rice's and Terrell Owens playing for him. But still like,
this guy is going to break a lot of records
for this franchise. He looks like a dominant force. But
it felt as the game was going like you don't
(07:31):
need to force feed this. It worked, you got your yardage,
you got your points. Now let's just sit on it
and let's bleed him dry and on the flip side, like, listen,
I'm not off Kubiak. I think he is a talented
offensive coordinator. But I think tonight's one of those where
if you want to and they were a team that
I sprinkle a little to win the division at five
to one, and they clearly have the defensive talent. Their
(07:53):
quarterback's pretty good, their skill guys, I mean that their
running backs are really good. Horton to go with Jackson Smith,
Like they got skills, and their coaching staff's excellent. They're
head coach. If Mike was an offensive coordinator Mike McDonald
instead of a defensive coordinator. I've been saying this for
a couple of years now. We would talk about him
like the media circle jerks Kevin O'Connell, like that's how
(08:15):
and that's not a shot at Kevin O'Connell. I mean
he's earned it, like he's a really good coach. But
offensive guys get put on a pedestal. I mean, look
at Sean, look at Kyle, look at Lafleur. I mean
Kevin O'Connell. You know, it's just look at the two
old famous guys, Andy and Sean Payton. They're held to
a higher standard than defensive guys. They just are. And
because Mike's like this younger guy, but he's a dominant
(08:35):
defensive coordinator. There were stretches a night where he's calling
blitzes and bringing pressures. In fairness to CJ, I don't
know if like Tom Brady or Peyton Manning would have
understood where these pressures are coming from. He is elite
at his job. So to me, if Kubiak in those
type moments can get a little more conservative like Pops
and play to his head coach's strength, I mean that team,
(08:57):
the ceiling's pretty high. I mean the speed in which
they have on defense. Obviously we know how good their
home field advantages. Even though somehow the Niners won their
Week one and clearly the NFC West now, I mean
it's a three horse race. Now, I don't know if
the forty nine ers can continue this. They're missing so
many bodies. But all three teams are five and two.
(09:18):
The coaching is elite, the culture is elite. It's you
play those teams, you better buckle your chin strap. Now
the Texans same thing, Demiko from Kyle uh Kubiak guy badass.
Look at their defense. The Texans defense is top notch.
I mean, Will Anderson is a certified ass kicker. Their
defense is excellent. Their offense, though, is a tough watch.
(09:41):
And we've talked about this with some of these coordinators
that we don't know that well and we start seeing
them call players like something's off. Certain people are just
not good at their job, right because some people are
just lazy. They don't try, they don't care most times
in football, like in that world in coach, it's not
because guys aren't trying. It's not because guys don't study.
(10:04):
It's not because guys. Honestly, if you just gave him
a pen and got to the whiteboard. I bet the
Texans offensive coordinator Nick Hayley, who was with Sean mcvagh
for a couple of years, but really as a Patriot guy,
would be really impressive. I bet he really knows ball.
But when it comes to these games, you're watching it
and you're going, what are you doing now? In fairness,
(10:26):
his offense has some limitations. Their personnel on offense, the
offensive line is not great. I mean they're playing their
offensive their running backs, you know, major question mark because
of some injuries. Right, Nico Collins gets hurt in the game. Listen,
he's not playing with a full deck. But there were
stretches to night. There was a third and fourth down
(10:46):
stretch early in the second half where he called two
basically like outside off tackle runs that got absolutely destroyed.
It's one thing, listen, you want to call it one
time on third down, I'm not gonna fault you, But
then to basically just call the same exact play again
and get the same result. It was insanity. And he
(11:06):
did it again late in the game on the goal line.
Luckily one of their guys like false started, so they
got a free play. It was absolutely housed because at
the point of attack, their offensive line is getting worked
by a fantastic front, Seattle's front, led by Leonard Williams All.
(11:27):
I mean, all their dbs are physical. Their linebackers are
flying downhill and just triggering on the A and B
gap and just come in to crack skulls. It's like,
this is not gonna work now. And if you're not
comfortable calling a quarterback sneak, which Orlowsky wanted him to call.
Orlosky's like, dude, the Drew brees and leap over. It's like, well,
I cg comfortable doing that. I get it in theory
(11:50):
it makes a lot of sense. But if he's not
comfortable doing it, you can't do it. But you cannot
call these runs between the tackles in these short yard
of situations. My mother, who's probably a sleep could tell
you this is not gonna work. And he just kept
calling him. It was baffling. Now you go, what are
you supposed to call? I don't know, but you cannot
call that. I understand you have limitations. You might as
(12:12):
well just hand the ball and say this is not
gonna work. So here, take the ball, and you guys
bring your offense on the field. And we've seen this
now around like they made a change in offensive coordinator
because Bobby slowk was a disaster, and it looks the
exact same. You could argue it looks even worse. And
it's concerning because you know, I think what you feel
pretty good about if you're John Schneider is you paid
(12:34):
a lot of money, right, you won the move, You
got rid of Gino, and you got Sam Donald. That
is a massive upgrade, right, But then once you give
Sam Donald the money, you're like, Okay, are you gonna
play at a high level? And you're watching You're like,
this is a Pro Bowl level guy. So you feel
really good about that. You got this guy under contract
who is going to be in the mix as long
as he stays healthy for the next couple of years
(12:55):
in our scheme to be a Pro Bowl player. You
watch CJ Stroud, who how could you not have really
loved him as a rookie? You go, we got this
shooting star, we got this rocket ship. And now for
last year and however many games this year, six or seven,
You're going, what are we supposed to do? Well, I
know what we're not doing based on what we're seeing,
(13:15):
and I'm not blaming it all on him, but I've
seen it happen in other organ We're not paying you
after this year, so I don't want to hear from
your agent expecting two hundred million dollars because that's an
immediate hang up. Now I'm not say we're giving up
on you, but this thing has just gone. And listen,
CJ is still pretty talented and he can He made
a great play late in the game, keeping a play alive,
(13:36):
and he definitely has the physical characteristics. But you watch
on certain plays, which again I do think you start
losing your confidence as a young quarterback, which how would
you not when you're constantly getting fucking hit. If you
get hit over and over, you can't even think straight.
And I think that he's just getting peppered so many
times last year and a half, it's hard to even
(13:57):
judge him. But now you're in this situation to be like, well,
is this actually our guy? He clearly is not going
anywhere next year, But it's just one of those questions
now that's out there of like, we're not making the playoffs.
We're two and four. We don't have the offense to
rattle off a bunch of wins, and our defense couldn't
be much better. I mean, it's a dominant defense. It's
(14:17):
a lead. It's like a championship. If you gave a
good offense to that defense, you'd be like, they're a
Super Bowl contenders. Why I listen, I'm wrong, I am.
Sometimes you go on heaters and sometimes you just go
on cold streaks, And that's what I'm on. From a
gambling perspective, I'm just giving money away, and I had
a couple of parlays and I set it to start
the season. I anchored it to the Texans win in
(14:40):
the South. That ain't gonna work because they're not winning
the South the culture winning that with ease. But a
huge reason that they're in this conundrum is their offense
is atrocious. The personnel with their offensive line is just
not good. And obviously when Nico goes out and they
lose Tank last year to a major injury, that their
skill position is just not exploded enough. I mean, you
(15:01):
watch the previous game, the one that kicked off earlier,
It's like there's way more explosive players in the Tampa
Detroit game. That's what the offensive skill guys are supposed
to look like. And you just wonder, like, there's gonna
be an off season you're gonna fire your offensive coordinator again.
You know, Mike McDaniel is a guy that Demiico worked
with in San Francisco for years. Would feel like that
would make a lot of sense. But Nick Cassario, who
(15:23):
is you know, kind of the boss. I mean, a
big reason they bring in this dude from you know
that used to work in New England that there's some
cohesion there that they know each other. So how much
use does Demico have. It's just everything's just a little
off kilter right now, and it's it all falls on
the offense. Like the defense ain't the problem. Derek Stingley,
Will Anderson are not the issues now. I'm not saying CJ.
(15:46):
Stroud is the issue, but he's part of the package
with the offensive coordinator, with the personnel people, with the scheme.
It's a nightmare. And that that game, how it was
as close as it was, I don't know, probably the
turnovers right what four to one and multiple turnovers in
the second half by Seattle. But like I think you
(16:09):
play that game ten times, especially in Seattle. I think
Seattle wins it nine times. I think it would take
a miracle. You know, it takes four or five turnovers
for Houston to win that game. I think that's an
awful mismatch because if you have a good defense, Seattle
or Houston's gonna be in a lot of trouble. And
in fairness to Houston, they got kind of screwed because
(16:33):
I don't get on you know, when the schedule comes out,
I don't make that big a deal with it, But
once you're in the season, you kind of feel a
flow to this to make a team that is. I've
never flown from Seattle to Houston, but I googled it tonight.
It's a four hour flight, so by the time that
they will get on the charter and probably take off,
it'll be close to my guests would be twelve thirty
(16:54):
to one am Pacific standard time. Well, it takes four
plus hours to get from Seattle to Houston, and there's
a two hour time change because I'm pretty sure Houston
Central time zone. So you're talking about them landing at
seven am on Tuesday morning. Well, they play the forty
nine ers on Sunday. So the forty nine ers, who
(17:14):
had a night game the previous night, were at home.
They've slept, they had a normal work day to day,
and the Texans coaches are gonna be absolutely fried by
the time they land. They're gonna have to go right
to work. So the scheduling gods did not throw the
Texans a bone making them play this double Listen Monday
night football. Sometimes you get home late, it's part of
(17:37):
the deal. Typically the game they would be in the
air right now right, But because of this doubleheader, you
don't even kick off till a little after seven pm
Pacific Standard time. I can't even speak, it's so late.
But they did get royally screwed on that so big
win by Seattle, and I think Seattle, I think they're
(18:00):
pretty good. I really do. It comes to the offensive
coordinator just being a little more conservative and just relying
on the run game that they're gonna be. They're gonna
be a tough out because defensively, in that scheme and
that coaching, it's it's pretty impressive. Today's show is brought

(19:50):
Speaking of the first game, I've never been that bothered
by the transfer portal, and I think a lot of
the way that we discuss. It is based on college
for football, right players and coaches and people bitching and
people complaining or people celebrating it, or however, from a
college lens, I want to look at the transfer portal
(20:11):
from an NFL lens and from an NFL GM and
coaching perspective. I actually think it's the best thing that's
ever happened in the scouting community, and I think it's
really benefited a lot of players. And Jamier Gibbs, who
was by far the best player in the Tampa Lions game,
(20:32):
directly benefited from the transfer portal because he went to
Georgia Tech his first two years and he was good.
But then the transfer portal existed and he transferred to
Alabama and he had multiple huge games in the SEC,
and he ended up getting drafted twelfth overall by the
Detroit Lions. And let's remember when they drafted him, a
(20:52):
lot of people thought they were crazy. And if you
just look at his stats, it's not like he was
rushing for fifteen hundred yards a year at Georgia Tech,
and even as you're at Alabama, I don't even think
he ran for a thousand yards. Now he could catch
the ball so he was a virgatile player, but like
it was much more of a projection. But think how
much easier it was to project a player at Alabama
(21:17):
than it was at Georgia Tech. And this isn't Brent
Key Georgia Tech. This is like twenty nineteen twenty Georgia Tech.
So this is a team that I promise you this
if the transfer portal hadn't existed and he had just
had to ride out his time at Georgia Tech, Jamior
Gibbs not only is it the twelfth overall pick, He's
got a first round pick, No freaking way. And I
(21:38):
think sometimes the transfer portal for the guys that go
to bigger schools that leave a smaller school go to
the bigger school, they could shoot up like a rocket ship,
because when you transfer to some of these SEC schools
or these big ten schools, you're just playing in bigger games.
More people are watching it, there are more scouts and attendance.
They're being more highly dissected in draft meetings and lead
(22:02):
up to the combine, in lead up to the pro
day when the coaches get involved. And I think Jamiir
Gibbs is a great example of a guy that and
might have been one of the truly first big like
explosive risers from making a move in the portal. And
(22:22):
you watch him tonight. I mean, he is just a
spectacular talent. I've always said, like the last thing you
need as a running back, like you don't need Jamiir
Gibbs high end speed to be a great player at
running back. You don't need to be a four to
three guy. You don't need to be Adrian Peterson. Frank
Gore probably ran a four to six. You can be
(22:43):
an exceptional running back and not have David Montgomery. You
don't need great top end speed, but if you have it,
you can be a major problem. And we saw last
year with Sakwon Barkley had what six' seven runs of
over sixty yards and you saw to night give like
that thing you know opens like The Red sea and
(23:04):
he's just out the gate and when you're that, fast
no one is catching. You AND i would, imagine Beside Jamison,
williams there's not a guy on the offense faster than,
him and he's just that. Pick like watching them the
night AND i THINK i said this last, week there
is not a better group of skill players in THE
nfl than the one The Detroit lions. Have when you
(23:26):
factor in their two running, backs they're tight, end and
they're two, receivers and you could argue three. Receivers it
is just it's the best group in the. League and
their quarterback's pretty damn. Good now he has some. Limitations
he can't, move he's not gonna be scrambling around like
He's Sam darnold OR. Cj. Stroud but if you can protect,
them which they kind of, can you're gonna get slicing.
(23:51):
Diced and, honestly they weren't even that good on. Offense
the story of the game is the. Defense we'll get
into them in a, second but it hits me every
time that It's Monday night football and this team's now
five and. TWO i don't think we Give Dan campbell
enough credit for resurrecting a. Franchise you can't even resurrect
something because it never. WAS i, mean The Detroit lions
(24:14):
were the biggest joke franchise of the last thirty. Years
no team lost more in the two thousands and the
twenty tens in The Detroit. Lions and he hasn't just
turned them into a good. Team he's turned them into
a league. Power, like they have as good a chance
as any team in THE nfc to be in THE Nfc.
Championship they have as good a, chance you would say
(24:34):
watching them is any to be in The Super bowl
representing THE. Nfc, Obviously they're big variable is health and
this is back to back. Years it kind of hit me.
TONIGHT i think one similarity that you, KNOW i Think
Kyle shanahan and the forty nine ers really deal with.
THIS i think when you're a run heavy team and
(24:56):
you have a coach who preaches physicality and, practice you
know these guys the rules are not on your, side
so it's not like you build up the. Calluses AND
i do wonder if the physicality that you have in
practice and the games just kind of leads to guys
dropping like. Flies because The lions a lot like the
(25:17):
forty Nine. Ers it's just every, game guys just on the,
ground guys, injured random guys. Up it's pretty. Crazy but
a lot Like Sunday night with a mass, unit and
Even Troy aikman said the night you could Tell Troy
aikman was in just had nothing but like admiration for
(25:37):
What Kelvin shepherd and the effort that The lions random
defensive players were. Doing and we have seen this back
to back years, now and this is Where Dan campbell
deserves a lot of. Credit one Thing i've always said
About Jim harbaugh hires really good coaches because at the
end of the, day like he's Not Mike, shanahan you,
know he's Not Todd, bowles like he's not calling any.
(26:00):
Place he's a leader and his best, ability like to,
lead is to put guys in position to run the
offense of the. Defense and he's always been really good at,
that going back to Like San, Diego, stanford the forty nine,
Ers and one Thing Dan campbell has proven now Like
Johnny morriton has been pretty. Good you can't really dispute
(26:20):
IT'S i don't want to say he's the Next Ben
johnson because he's much, older but it hasn't been that
big of a drop, off and tonight like they were
a little. Off BUT i would say over the course
of the last three or four weeks they've been good on,
offense but defensively to Lose Aaron, glenn who clearly is
having some struggles In New, york don't blame him most
people do is to watch essentially the same guy Because
(26:45):
kelvin sheperd former. Player Remember Dan campbell said when he
was coaching In miami And kelvin was a, Player he's,
like this guy's gonna be a fantastic coach to identify those,
guys to then hire those, guys and then to start
them low and build them up and then put them
in a position where because defense is really about two, things,
right you got to under stand the schematics of, it,
(27:09):
Right Vic, Fangio Bill, belichick, like really understand the, detail
especially in this day and age playing the offenses that
all the officiating and the rules are on their. Side
the league wants to see, point so you're at a huge.
Disadvantage so from a detail, standpoint like you gotta be
every bit is dialed in on the x's nose as
(27:29):
the offensive. Guys but then you kind of got to
be a crazy motherfucker and be a little off your.
Rocker and there's a motivational element to defense that there
just really isn't with. Offense offense is much more, cerebral
maybe with the offensive, line but the offensive unit as a,
whole it's not nearly the. Same and that's an element
(27:52):
of motivation of personality that it's they're kind of the, same,
Right most high level defensive coordinators and defensive guys are
pretty intense. Dudes and to go From Aaron glen to
this has been really. Impressive And Dan campbell deserves a
lot of credit because him And Brad holmes took JUST
(28:16):
i mean a trash, franchise an irrelevant. Franchise Even Troy
aikman mentioned a, Night he's, like it's. Crazy now we
have done these last couple of, years Multiple monday night.
Games for, YEARS i never touched this team beside On,
thanksgiving and now they are just a stalwart of like
you need a big, game throw The lions in, there
especially at, home and they do not. Disappoint it feels.
(28:38):
Big their team pops the talent on the. ROSTER i,
mean this goes back to THE gm done a fantastic.
JOB i, mean we know about their. Offense, Defensively Aiden
hutchinson is just an awesome. Player Jack campbell had a
nice play tonight on. Coverage they've just done a really
good job and they're obviously missing a ton of guys
(29:00):
suspended because of he Attacked juju last. Week but he'll be.
Back he's a, baller And i'm Just i'm just really
really impressed with The lions and everything they got. Going
and there's not much for me to say About, tampa
like they were bound to have a bad. Game pretty.
Devastating Mike, evans WHO i had to google his. Contract
(29:21):
he signed a two year deal two years, ago so
he's gonna be a free agent at the end of this.
Year to come back from the hamstring injury and to
break your collar bone and get a concussion on the same,
play the way he was laying down for a long,
time you, knew like this is not. Good and obviously
the information coming out that it's six to eight weeks
(29:42):
and just a bad, deal and a lot of people
asking me you think he's played his last game as
a as A. BUCK i don't. KNOW i, mean the
collarbone's not a career ending, injury but you start having
some of these hamstring, injuries, concussion. Collarbone you've made enough,
Money you've won A Super. BOWL i could see him
(30:04):
coming back To tampa on like a one year cheaper.
DEAL i have a hard time seeing him finish somewhere.
Else but that was tough And tampa's another, team a
lot like The, lions a lot like the forty nine,
Ers like you can just only have so many. Injuries
eventually it's, like what's going on here and you just
run out of Juice and typically that happens on the,
(30:25):
road and that's what happened. Tonight they just looked. Off
they just were not. Good AND i would say that
not that big a, deal and it's time to rally the.
Troops and luckily you're in a division WITH i saw
a clip today Of Raheem morris on a big third
down last. Night they had ten guys on the. Field it's,
(30:46):
like that's that's that's the team that you have to
worry about in your. Division that, team you, Know Carolina,
panthers feisty. Squad BUT i don't Think tampa's losing sleep over.
Them and obviously The saints are, Terrible so, Listen damp
a bad, game but when the dust, settles gonna be.
OKAY a couple other. Things Drake greenlaw got, suspended he
(31:10):
missed basically got. Injured they got injured in the. Offseason
then he got INJURED i think again in training camp
with the quad and he has been out the entire
season up until last, week where he looked pretty rusty
and at the end of the game when they kicked
the game winning field, goal he like b lined into
the referee started screaming at. Him AND i didn't see.
THIS i guess In Bronco, land maybe that moment had
(31:33):
gone viral by a guy that covers the team had
like filmed. It and then today it was announced that
he's been suspended for a game for verbally attacking a.
Referee to, me unless you said LIKE i want to
murder you and your entire, Family i've said this for
(31:53):
a long. TIME i have a really hard time in
professional sports If i'm swearing at, you even if it's
not like you could argue it's not. Appropriate, yeah there
are a lot of inappropriate things that happen in pro,
sports AND i think there better be a very distinct
line that has to get crossed for you to suspend
(32:13):
and doc a game check away from me as a.
Player AND i know that he. Is you know they're
contesting it with THE, nflpa BUT i gotta know what
is specifically said to feel comfortable, Going, yeah you deserve
to be. SUSPENDED i got no. Problem, listen we got
to have some rules and regulations and some. Discipline you
(32:33):
can't just be attacking. Referees totally understand. It it's like
anytime you hear AN nba coach, Like i'm gonna get fined,
here But i'm gonna go in on the. Referees this
is part of the. Game twenty thousand, dollars, fine, Whatever
even THOUGH i think we just throw fine numbers, AROUND
i just dock them fifty, grand, Oh Jonathan gannon one hundred,
Grand like there's a lot of. Money this is net,
income not gross. Income so whatever you're taxed on then
(32:56):
they take it away from. THAT i think a lot
of these fine systems players coaches is batshit. Crazy but
UNLESS i hear something and, listen it takes a lot
to offend. Me it better be pretty egregious to suspend
the guy and dock him a game check for a.
Game IF i Was Dre, Greenlaw i'd be posting WHAT i,
said trying to get the you, know public on my.
(33:19):
SIDE a couple other quick. Things Brandon graham is going
to return at least all signs. Point i'm recording this
at eleven o'clock at night On monday. Night The eagles
are desperate for a little outside pass rush playing The
Giants Jackson. Dart all signs point To Brandon graham coming.
BACK i can't Imagine brandon and home with his. Family
(33:40):
think he's got a couple of young, kids probably a little,
board and he, Goes, Wait jeffrey And howie just called.
Me they said they'll pay you five hundred grand a
game you know or, whatever you, know pro rated ten million. Dollars,
Well i'm just not doing that much. Else, now WHAT
i would wonder is what has he been doing. PHYSICALLY
(34:01):
i would, guess like most you, know young healthy, adults
he's working. Out but there's a big difference like going
to the, gym getting a little, pump getting an, ollimptical
getting a little walk on a ten, incline and like
training to get after offensive. Tackles so if he has
specifically been training over the LAST i don't, know six
months to just maintain his uh not even just his physical,
(34:26):
stature but just MY nfl, Pedigree i'd be impressed AND
i have a lot of respect for him if his
training has maintained the same level of intensity as it
would have over the course of his, career Because i'd
be hard. Pressed you just retire and you just maintain that.
Training maybe just a physical, freak but he is an older,
(34:48):
player shows you they're a little desperate and last but not,
least it's tough time to be A giants. Fan it's
better than being A jets, fan but it's. TOUGH i
mean that, game, obviously it's In one of the main
talking points of all the football world is The giants
blowing that game to The. BRONCOS i will say. THIS
i want to BECAUSE i defended Day, ball not BECAUSE
(35:10):
i think he's like doing some bang up. Job it's just,
listen you gotta let the coach that hand picked the
quarterback give him a little. Runway IF i would have
told you six months ago that we would be close
To halloween and there's not a soul in THE, nfl
including The, titans that would take Cam ward Over Jackson,
dart you would have had a big smile on your
(35:33):
face been, like are you? Serious how good is this?
Looking AND i do think we could sit here today
BECAUSE i saw stat that Since Jackson dart was inserted
in the starting lineup that The giants are averaging over
twenty five points a game and that would rank them
six in THE. Nfl so, like, offensively, clearly they are
as fun of an offense as they've had in a
(35:55):
long long. Time even the year that they made the,
playoffs when they went nine to eight With Daniel, jones
didn't he throw like fifteen touchdowns that? Year it's not
like he threw thirty. Eight it's not like he Had
Sam darnold's season last year with The Minnesota. Vikings so,
like if you're gonna need and sometimes when times are,
dark we've all been down in the dumps for different
shit in our, life whether it's just, personally, professionally, whatever
(36:17):
you just need to find a bright. Spot AND i
do think the bright spot right now is did we
get the best quarterback in the? Draft did? We because
if there was a redraft right? Now and, Listen i'm
not acting LIKE i Hated Cam moore AND i liked.
HIM i thought he'd be a good. PLAYER i bet
on them the first three. Weeks watching the last couple
of weeks a little hard to, judge but he there's
(36:39):
no disputing he looks. Terrible he looks completely. Overwhelmed it's
a tough. Watch now it could be A jared goff
situation back With Jeff, fisher your two McVeigh comes in
and becomes a great. Player So i'm not right in
the guy's obituary and saying he's a. Bust but it's
not going. Well people are getting. Fired, hey that building
(37:02):
is in, shambles and while the giants aff a, LOSS
i do think you need to look somewhat optimistically to.
GO i think we hit on the. Quarterback CAN i
tell you about my friends At Raging, Bones and like
(37:24):
many of, You i'm always looking for a pair of.
Jeans they're not just fits, right that looks, good that's,
comfortable THAT i could wear in a business, setting THAT
i can wear traveling. Wherever and that's where these guys come.
In one the jeans look. Fantastic two like they're NOT
i wouldn't say, elastic but they're definitely. Uh they do,
stretch so depending on how much you've, eaten whether you've
(37:46):
had a rough week and you've gained a few, pounds
they still go. On they fit, easy they look. Great
they also sent me a shirt shirts really styling and.
Profiling so cannot recommend these guys. Enough if you're looking
for a pair of, jeans it's time to upgrade your
denim With rag And, bone and for a limited, time
our listeners get twenty percent off their entire order with code.
(38:09):
Three that's the number three and out at rag dashbone dot.
Com that's twenty percent off at rag dashbone dot com
with the promo code three and. Out get on it,
now tell them we sent. You let's do a Little
(38:31):
middlecoff mail. Bag we haven't done one of these in
three or four, days, five six, DAYS i don't even,
Know but At John middlecoff is My. Instagram fire in the.
Dms just in my dms and get your questions answered
here on the show. Easiest it's really the only way
you can send me an. Email you can tweet at,
me you can hit me On, LinkedIn but this is
how you interact and get put on the podcast is
(38:52):
just firing My instagram. Dms we'll start With, josh are
we really going to be glazing The chiefs all week
because they blew out The raiders at? Home not saying
The chiefs don't look good and especially better than they
did the beginning of the, year but come, on The
raiders are a garbage. Fire. Listen two things can be.
True One raiders got some. Problems i'm sure we will
(39:13):
address them more as the season takes, shape because it's
getting uglier by the. Week didn't even have one hundred
yards of. Offense BUT i do think The chiefs being
LIKE i don't, know getting their swag back is a
pretty big story when they've been to Five Super bowls
in six years and the year they missed, it they
lost in THE Afc Championship game where they had a
(39:34):
lead at. Halftime so it's like they are a major
factor in this league for a reason that they win
the division every, year WHICH i think was in question
for the first. Time your, boy just on, value not
BECAUSE i root for The. CHIEFS i got a bunch
of friends on the, team BUT i was texted with
a couple of, them like they played really well on,
offense and that's an area in which last year was a.
(39:56):
Struggle you, Know Hollywood, Brown thornton obviously the running. Game
adding this Rookie, smith like they got a lot going for,
him and their rookie offensive tackle hasn't played in a
couple weeks and he's one of the better rookies in the.
League BECAUSE i don't even know the actual Situation i've
read the reports that are public to, Everybody so who
(40:16):
knows how that situation is going to figure itself. Out
but IF i was A chiefs, Fan i'd be pretty fired.
Up i'd like my, Chances i'll tell you that. Much
do you think The, niners this From troy should Put purty?
Down now that we know the toe is going to require,
surgery shouldn't they just do it as opposed to waiting
until the offseason what might prevent, him which might prevent
(40:38):
him for the start of. CAMP i hear what you're,
Saying but these, teams and specifically these players live like
year to. YEAR i just have little to no hope
that whenever he, does if he comes back this week
or next, week he's just going to reinjure the. Tow
so you just play for a game to reinjure. IT
(41:00):
i think he HAS i don't even know the right,
way the right adjective to describe, it but emotionally he's probably,
PRETTY i don't, know torn up about. It he gets
all this money and then he just can't, play and
then he tries to play and it's one of those
injuries like turf toe and a bunch of players have
(41:20):
come out and like defended it because it doesn't sound
sounds like stubbing your, toe which we all know hurts a.
Lot but at least when you break an, arm or
you dislocate an elbow or you get a high ankle,
sprain it's pretty. Definitive it's like turf. Toe, yeah just
hurts like a mother like the PAIN i reinjure it
WHEN i attempt, to you, know to. Play it's impossible
(41:44):
to overcome WITHOUT i guess the, surgery WHICH i didn't
EVEN i haven't read that, anywhere BUT i would guess
that he would knee surgery at the end of the.
Season it just. SUCKS i, mean it really. Does he
was poised to have a big, season, obviously got paid
a ton of money that was based on his previous,
work and now Mac jones is kind of carrying the
(42:04):
team from a quarterback standpoint because party can't. PLAY i
just have a little to no faith that like it's
gonna go. Away so, yeah you can get, surgery but
he is not going to agree to, that no. Chance
and the team clearly like they have nine months in the,
offseason so they'll just be, like, yeah let's write it.
Out see if we can battle through it and figure this,
(42:25):
out that's WHAT i think their mindset is gonna, be
which clearly is their mindset right. Now we're in toward
the end Of. October as A New York giants, fan
this team has an issue of being up and down
every single week like a yacht in a. Hurricane what
do you think The giants should, do not just this,
season but in the future of building Around dart and
hopefully neighbors when he's rehabbing. Back why said this on
(42:48):
The Reaction pod On Sunday, Night and this is, tough.
Right it. Sucks this team loses a. LOT i, mean
that's a pretty legendary. LOSS i THINK i heard the record.
Somewhere it was a lot of games for a team
that had an eighteen point lead WITH i think under
seven minutes to, go they don't. LOSE i mean it's like,
statistically it's, listen like the De morcado, play you needed
(43:12):
a touchdown or you needed a turnover to allow the
team to come back because it was impossible if the
game just went you get some, plays we get some.
Plays you couldn't overcome eighteen to, nothing twenty six to.
Eight you just didn't have enough time on the clock
And dark gave him a. Turnover but, ultimately like the
best part about The Dart scataboo experience is they're not
(43:35):
just fun like they're really you, Know scataboo is a
good player And dart from a hope, standpoint like the
physical attributes the arm, strength the playmaking can be a little,
reckless but most young players are taking some hits that
you would like to. AVOID i do think they were
in a tough spot with the coach because my take
was Like i'd give Day ball another. Year you're gonna
(43:55):
fire him and just start over with this. Crew because
whoever is an assistant coach or a guy a retread
to try to get The giants. Job of course they're
gonna SAY i Love dark and honestly they might be
intrigued by, him but if it doesn't go well for,
them they'll pivot on. Them and the same thing happened
With Daniel jones And brian A. Ball sometimes you just
(44:19):
gotta let it play out a little, bit AND i
think it's easy to counter that and, go, Well, john
they lose all the. Time you, know a couple of
years ago they had a high pick when they got.
Neighbors last year they had a high pick when they
Got Abdul. Carter just never, ends and it's. Frustrating it.
Sucks you, know watching a football team not be good
is not fun because there's a build up each week and,
(44:39):
then like The giants are, doing they kind of tease
you that they give a little just the, tip and
all of a sudden you lose one of the craziest
games of all. TIME i, mean that's honestly one of
the craziest Endings i've ever. SEEN i think we can
all agree for all of our years watching, football depending
on how old you, are that is as crazy of
a fourth quarter as you will ever. SEE i don't
(44:59):
have the, answer. Though my initial reaction IS i would
give Day ball next year and just give him basically
two years With dart HIGH iq guy, Here my question
for you is what happens for a team during the bye.
WEEK i know high end veteran players take time off
travel Ie travis when he went to The Taylor Swift,
(45:21):
Tour but what about non? Starters some practice players do
facilities stay open to work out and? Such what about?
Coaches do they continue to grind and watch film as
a former, scout did you get time off as? WELL
i think the NEW cba in twenty eleven mandated that
on a bye week THAT i don't know if It's
wednesday Through sunday Or thursday Through, sunday but like it's
(45:44):
mandatory the players are they have to get be given time. Off,
now you can choose if you're a, player to come
in and get a workout. In but once It's October,
november a couple days to get. AWAY i, mean you've
been training really year, round, Right SO i think most
players tend to get. AWAY i think you see if
you watch football On, saturdays you'll see a lot of
(46:06):
guys like At alabama or At Ohio state typically that's
their bye, week and younger, players you, know go back
to like homecoming or a big college. Game some guys
just you, know older player probably hangs out with their.
FAMILY i would say most. Coaches you, know it depends
where you are in the totem. Pole, right if you
are a quality control, guy which would be the lowest
guy in the totem, pole you're probably coming in a
(46:28):
Little Thursday friday to break, down break down some film
of your upcoming, opponent and Maybe, sunday the day of
the game in which the team that you're gonna play
the next week is. Playing but the head, coach the,
coordinators THE GM i think they. Are they're spending a
couple of days with their, family going to you, know
their kids high school football, game hanging with their. WIFE
(46:51):
i don't really such a long time ago, NOW i
probably just went home and, Slept but it's pretty relaxing
for a couple of. Days and by that time when
you get to the bye, week, right let's just say
your bye week is this. Week you have been grinding
like seven days a, week especially as a coach or
you know someone in the front office legitimately seven days
(47:12):
a week Since july. Twentieth so like you don't get.
Listen there are a lot of positives and awesome perks
of coming with the public, job i. E the. Money you,
know these coaches make a, ton gms make a. Ton
but you don't have a normal. Schedule you're not Working
monday Through friday and doing Nothing Saturday. SUNDAY i mean
you're Working monday Through sunday and traveling a. Lot like
(47:35):
it's it's a pretty big. Grind you don't sleep, much
SO i think the bye week is everyone's taking a deep. Breath,
ideally your team's doing pretty well and you can enjoy.
It if your team, sucks you're probably thinking about your
future and you might get. Fired so it's, yeah kind
of crazy, profession but it's usually a very relaxed. Time
the re emergence Of Daniel jones And Saquon barkley doing
(47:58):
really well In? Philadelphia does this help The giants and
hurt the? Coach does this help The GIANTS gm and
hurt the? COACH i don't think The GIANTS Gm Joe
shane drafted either, guy, right didn't they inherit both players.
Didn't Dave gettleman Draft Daniel jones And Saquon. BARKLEY i
(48:20):
know he Drafted Saquon barkley BECAUSE i remember when he,
did he said he was drafting A hall Of famer
and HE'S i don't know If saquon's gonna make The
hall Of, fame but he wasn't. Wrong, Like saquon's A
hall Of fame, talent And Daniel jones one of the
most maligned polarizing draft. PICKS i would, say of like
my adult, LIFE i, mean Taking Daniel jones and six
was pretty, bold but looks pretty good right, Now like
(48:42):
gonna leave the cults of the, playoffs that's for damn.
SURE i think it's easier to stomach With saquon And
scataboo or excuse, Me dart In, scataboo like those. Guys
part of, like it's easier to forget the girl that dumped,
you or the girl you dumped if she starts doing
well when you start dating someone. Else if you're alone
(49:03):
and lonely and scrolling On instagram and she's with her
dude In hawaii Or New york or, wherever having the
time of her life posting, pictures it seasy to be
down in the. Dumps but, like If i'm A giants,
FAN i. Go we Got skataboo And, dart so it
was fun. HAVING i, mean Obviously saquan's a better player Than,
scataboo but, like why Couldn't dart be better Than Daniel?
(49:25):
Jones SO i think it's easier to move on when
you've replaced those guys with kind of fan favorite. Players
SO i would say last, YEAR i MEAN i remember
saying It, Saquon, now DID i know he's gonna go
for two thousand yards and they were gonna win The Super. Bowl,
no but there was no way if he was, healthy
he wasn't gonna have a good season behind an unreal offensive.
(49:48):
LINE Aj, Brown DeVante, Smith Dallas goddard And Jalen hurts
like it was gonna. Work, now obviously it worked to
the best degree, possible BUT i don't, think, uh like
if those guys got stayed employed after, That like The
Daniel jones. Thing Daniel jones been on a couple different,
teams right they cut him last year he went To
minnesota like a lot of other teams could have had.
(50:11):
Him you could argue the biggest question mark is why
do some teams that needed a, quarterback why weren't they
more interested In we've had back to back years now
Where Sam donald ten million, dollars maybe it's four years
or three years in a. ROW i. Forgot i'd have
to google When baker got his like three year on
hundred million dollar. Contract But baker was on a five
(50:31):
million dollar deal or four million dollar, deal became a
long term. Starter Sam donald was on a one, year
ten million dollar. Deal was had one of the best
seasons in the league last, year and Now Daniel jones
is on a one, year fourteen million dollar. Contract the
difference Of Daniel jones And sam is like The Colt.
Saint Letting Daniel jones go, anywhere it'll be A Baker mayfield.
Situation he's, staying and rightfully. So this was a LONG
(50:56):
dm From christian basically arguing with his buddy About Joe,
burrow and he, said my buddy is convinced that almost
all of the blames should go To Joe. Burrow he
justifies his stance by throwing a bunch of advanced stats at.
Me for, example he tells me That burrow is sacked
around twenty four percent of the time that he faces,
pressure While mahomes And Josh allen their rates are ten
(51:18):
percent and fourteen percent, percent. Respectively he uses stats like
these to try and convince me the issue is Actually
joe and he holds onto the ball too much to.
Me these stats do not in take take into context
That joe is usually either playing from behind or in
a shootout and does not have the ability to constantly
check the ball down for short yardage gains due to
(51:40):
his inability to trust the defense literally at, all While
mahomes And allen have not necessarily had those same. Limitations
my question is, this as a former scout in the
era of quote Next gen or quote advanced, statistics do
you think they can be used on their own in
a situation like this to evaluate a player and paint
(52:03):
an accurate picture of what is happening on the. Field it's.
FUNNY i was texting with like an ASSISTANT gm a
couple weeks, ago and he was just, saying how it
makes him sick reading some of these. Articles, then let's face,
it a lot of The New age. Media if you
read one of their, articles it is essentially all advanced,
(52:24):
stats and that's how they talk and articulate their thoughts on.
Football AND i was, saying you know what's funny Is
i'm forty years old And i've been talking football with other,
people my friends and as doing this for a living,
now just random people for. Decades And i've never had
a conversation at a. Bar JUST i got a construction
(52:47):
project going on in my. BACKYARD i was just talking
football with like the guy running the project building a
little office out. There hopefully we'll be able to move
out there the next. Month on a golf course with
my buddies and these advanced stats have ever come up
that they never. Do, now if you work for a, team,
right if You're Howie roseman and you're trying to build the,
(53:10):
team should you look into what the advanced stats say
on an individual, player whether it's a free agent or
a draft. Pick of course you'd be crazy not. To
but just in the way that we Discuss Joe burrow
Or Patrick, MAHOMES i don't think you would have a
casual conversation with someone and they would bring up HIS.
EPA i just. Don't i've never had, that AND i
(53:31):
talk about football literally every day for decades on. End
SO i do think there are two ways to look at. It,
ONE i think if we dove into, it like you,
said that would be something you'd, go, well why does
he have an issue more than these other? GUYS i
would say this Watching Patrick mahomes And Josh, allen they
hold on the, ball sometimes probably too much at. Times
(53:52):
the difference is they're, both Especially, josh a much better
athlete Than. Joe so If joe's holding onto the, ball
he doesn't have the ability like some of these. Guys,
Herbert Josh, Allen Jalen hurts to run. Away he's going
to get sacked because he's not their level of. Athlete
but he has to hold onto the ball, sometimes like you,
said to make things. HAPPEN i bet if we did
(54:13):
a breakdown the last couple of, years his team's not
as good as. Theirs so like there's no one can.
Argue and part of the advanced stats, guys they like
they believe there's no emotion involved in any given stat,
Right like a long standing argument in baseball has been
there's no different than in a bat In game four
(54:35):
of The World series than In august of a game
at one o'clock against The Chicago White. Sox they believe
every individual situation is an, independent you, know exercise for that. Statistic,
right that's AN, ab that's AN. Ab they're all the,
same and most of us human being, goes, no there's
there's this thing called, pressure like and then they're, like,
(54:57):
well there's no such. Thing it's, like, well they're kind
Of and when you know that it is trust thrust
upon you that if we don't score thirty thirty five,
points we are going to. Lose that is a different
level of playing the. Sport then If i'm playing, quarterback
for the best defense in the league. History IF i
have the eighty Five bears, Defense i'm going to approach
(55:21):
on a weekly basis much different than IF i have
one of the worst defense in the. League Right IT'S
i say the same thing like IF i give you
a putt from ten feet for five, dollars you might
look at it a little. Different IF i, go, hey
this putt is for twenty five thousand, dollars you might
feel in your bones a little. Bit it's no different
than playing. Quarterback you, know there's pressure on you to
get the job done because if you, don't your team will.
(55:42):
Lose SO i would imagine if we did a deep deep.
Dive have there ben sacks that are on him that
he probably doesn't you, know take like get the fault
doesn't fall on him from a media perspective like it
would on some other. Quarterbacks, sure BUT i also think
(56:04):
is he are they very dependent on him making plays
out of as you know? What of course they got.
ISSUES i mean that that. Franchise what a bizarre. FRANCHISE i,
mean it really. Is what a CRAZY i still can't
believe they. WON a couple of days ago And flacco
had one of the cooler moments THAT i THAT i
remember this so far this season pretty pretty nuts that.
(56:26):
Happened this Is Dzy stark here straight From South. Africa
we made it to The World, cup So i'm coming
(56:46):
to THE. Us. Baby relate so much to. You been
in corporate finance for a couple of years and now
we're in a private equity. Fund you would have been
a dog in. Finance that personality is the type PEOPLE
i like to hire for my. Team, Well, stark if
times ever get dark over here At, SCOTTSDALE i might
have to give you a. CALL i usually agree with
(57:07):
the majority of your, points BUT i have to disagree
with you with The colts And. Charlie you totally thought
it was a, gimmick but hands on leadership is key
to success because the team feels as if you were
there with them in the. Trenches what's your take? Now
when you Say, CHARLIE i don't know her, NAME i
would imagine you're alluding to The, colts one Of ersa's
(57:28):
daughters who wears the headset on the. Sideline i'm not
to like egotistical or. Narcissistic narcissistic to think That i'm
always right and my take that it was kind of
a clown show her doing, That like could be very very,
wrong BUT i do feel pretty confident that they haven't
(57:51):
won or lost because she's on the sideline with a.
Headset LIKE i think a huge reason for their success,
is like their quarterback play has been really really, good
so like her, Leadership like players aren't looking to her for,
leadership and, honestly Like Chris ballard and especially the coach
(58:11):
Stike in and Lou amruno and their coaching, staff like
they're not paying attention to her at all during the.
Game so when they were losing games the last couple
of years With Anthony, Richson, flacco, whoever and now they're winning, Them,
LIKE i think it has little to do with her
on a headset taking. Notes. Now who. Knows here's WHERE
(58:32):
i could be. Wrong maybe she has given them, ideas
because the one thing she can do is they're so
inundated and deep into. It there are things when you're
so close to the sun you can't even realize what's going.
On so maybe she could give them a few, ideas
not necessarily plays or, anything but just some big picture macro.
(58:55):
Thoughts not putting that pastor at, all but they were
not gonna win or lose because of her on a
headset on the. SIDELINE i guess that was my entire.
Point do DO i think it's a little? PERFORMATIVE i? Do?
Uh is there a chance that she is one hundred
percent being? Truthful she needs to do, this AND i
think she's been doing it FOR i think she's been
(59:15):
doing it Since ursa passed, away OR i mean before he.
DIED i Think i'm pretty sure he's been doing this for.
Years so, YEAH i, mean if it works for, her
more power to. Her and If i'm A colts, FAN
i don't care either, way as long As Daniel jones
And Jonathan taylor scoring touchdowns and we're winning games six and? One? Baby?
Uh why did the stafford get talked about enough FOR? Mvp?
(59:38):
Has he has been on top of the quarterback stats all.
Season if The rams didn't have kicking, issues the record
could be even better than five and. TWO i feel
like he's always been underrated in his, career and that's
why he doesn't have many individual accolades Like Pro balls
And All pros as he. DESERVES i also wanted to
mention a sneaky important game that could be crucial when
(59:58):
it comes TO, mvp and that this week Twelve Sunday
night football between The rams and The, BUCCANEERS i think
the winner of that game could end up being THE.
Mvp like That christmas game between The ravens and The.
NINERS i think he's alluding To Brock purdy not playing.
Well Lamar JACKSON i think accounted or MAYBE i don't
know if he, threw but he counted for five touchdowns
and then the rest is. HISTORY i was shocked to
(01:00:21):
See stafford's status yesterday WHEN i was going on With.
Colin obviously he HAD i mean two of his last
three games The niners, loss which is definitely not on.
Him he had three touchdowns yesterday at. FIVE i think
he has seventeen to two ratio right, now and he's
just an elite. Player AND i, listen it was pretty
scary in the offseason if you were, McVeigh if you were,
(01:00:43):
anybody if like his back was. Hurting now maybe they
knew it was gonna be, okay BUT i was pretty.
Concerned and, honestly he's shown zero indication that has had any,
impact and he's been. Awesome they're, GOOD i, mean they're
they're really, good And DeVante to go With puka and that,
defense they're gonna be a. Problem so to, me the
(01:01:04):
one thing they have if their guy is, healthy they
can beat anyone in the LEAGUE afc as, well like
they can win The Super bowl Because stafford's that, good
their defense that, good their coaching staff's that. Good so,
YEAH i wouldn't discount them at. All i'm recording this
before The sunday night game or The monday night game
When baker's, Playing but it does, feel at least based
(01:01:26):
on the, odds that he still GOT i don't know
if some uphill climb to make to, me he'd be
the betting favorite as of whatever week we're. In week,
seven But holmes ahead of, Him Josh allen's ahead of,
him seems a little crazy to. Me who's the blame
for The? Raiders Mark davis has been making all the right.
Moves Either pete is now a wash Like, belichick or
(01:01:46):
your Boy spytech is out of his. League, WELL i
think a couple of things can be TR i get
another question question for the. Pod do you think there's
any Chance, Brady Spy tech And pete can turn The raiders?
AROUND i feel like they need a better quarterback and
two good defensive. Backs, well against The, Chiefs crosby got,
(01:02:09):
Injured bowers is. Out gino's been. Atrocious he's had a horrendous.
SEASON i do think we need to acknowledge That Chip
Kelly higher is kind of. Insane they're paying him three,
years six million dollars a. Year he's had an eighteen
million dollar. Contract if you go back a couple of years,
ago his his last year AT, Ucla Dante, moore who's
(01:02:34):
now like a potential number one overall, Pick Heisman trophy
level guy At oregon looked a. Troach chip hasn't been
good at offense for many many. Years you, go what
About Ohio. State, well last year was a little. Rocky
he had one of the worst game plans you'd ever
seen Against, michigan a team that had no business Beating
Ohio state when he has three elite wide, receivers TWO
(01:02:56):
nfl running, backs AND nfl quarterback and he got worked
By Wink martindale and then they got hot in the.
Playoffs but like this version Of chip is the guy
that has been in recent, memory he's not very. Good
but here's the, Thing Pete carroll has proven he will
fire offensive. Coordinators he's Fired, bevil he's Fired. SHOTTENHEIMER a
(01:03:17):
lot of guys got fired on the offensive side of
the ball When Pete carroll was In, seattle a lot of.
Guys SO i would Say chip is in major. Trouble
six million dollars a, year six million dollars a year
for Chip. Kelly that to me is an agent With
brady And pete, like, well just. Insane, honestly it didn't
even make that much. Sense Pete carroll And Chip kelly
(01:03:39):
that they feel like polar. Opposites Pete carroll's much more
like nineteen, eighties, nineties you, know use a full, back
couple tight, ends slam the. Ball chip is like this more,
modern spread it out offense that doesn't really. Work and
let's face, it like his quarterback, situation Like gino was
up and down the last couple. Years, yeah he didn't
(01:04:01):
look like. This when can The jets fans say enough is?
Enough Aaron glenn seems like he's. Drowning he calls beat
reporters questions about fields remaining the starter stupid and then
seven days later benches him against The. Panthers is it
time to pull the, plug since the idea of this
(01:04:21):
current administration picking the next franchise quarterback is questionable at
best when you are a really shitty team and The
jets have been, really really. BAD i know they have
some good individual, players BUT i would say the same
thing about The. RAIDERS i think you could say the
same thing about whoever takes over The. Dolphins you got
to take a deep breath and kind of let it play.
(01:04:43):
Out this season is really, ugly and you could argue
he feels completely over his head because there aren't that
many parallels from being a coordinator and being a head.
Coach when he was with The, lions he did not
have to deal With Jared goff at. All remember early
on In Jared goff's tenuere like you might get. Benched
that was Not Aaron glenn's. Problem everything falls on. Him
(01:05:04):
Brees hall wants a trade, request that's his. Problem like
When Jamison williams over the last couple of years would
cause some problems with The, Lions like that Wasn't Aaron glenn's.
Issue so you go to the seat And Aaron glenn's
been around football his whole, life elite, player, scouted, coach
there's nothing that can prepare you for that. Seat and
here's the other. Thing he's being inserted in that seat
(01:05:26):
in an organization that's a fucking. Debacle SO I i
think you just got to give him a couple of
years like he we have seen some one and done,
guys The Nate, hacketts The Tom. Sulas i've Given Aaron
glenn a little more. Leeway he's earned that at least
with his previous. Stops and to, me if you are LIKE,
(01:05:48):
i this sounds, crazy but let's say they go on in.
Seventeen let's let's say they go one in. Sixteen, Like
i'm just taking a deep breath and letting him get
a couple years. NOW i do want to know If
I'm woody Or woody's kid who was pounding the table
for justin. Fields have you guys been watching football like
(01:06:09):
in what? World like one, year five, million no, issue two,
years forty million dollars thirty? Guaranteed who are we bitting?
Against who had the idea in a free agency? MEETING
i want to know the position. COACH i want to
know the. COORDINATOR i want to know THE gm and
the head coach who signed off on this ship because
this is. Nuts we all like the. Guy he has
(01:06:31):
been an impressive young man in THE, nfl has handled
a lot of weird stuff, well a high character. GUY
i am pro justin fields the human. Being as a,
player he's. Atrocious he's not very. Good so whose idea was?
This that's What i'd want to know If I'm woody
or one of his crazy. Kids he's always Playing. Madden
(01:06:51):
if THE nfl did a redraft next, year who would
be the top five picks in the, draft and who
do you think would be the first non quarterback off the?
Board how many quarterbacks would be taken before other positions
start to get. SELECTED i think we've done this. Before
there'd be a lot of quarterbacks come off the board
because you get to a guy like you'd be better
(01:07:12):
off With Dak prescott for the next five years than
you would Be Micah, Parsons Max, crosby who's like a
young you, Know Trent williams And Lane johnson are old
but like their version of that player, wharfs you, Know Joe,
alt guys like. THAT i would take the second tier
quarterbacks over those. Guys SO i think we've done this.
(01:07:34):
Before it's probably ten quarterbacks before a non quarterback gets.
Picked AND i do think it would depend on who's
picking to what player got, picked. RIGHT i mean a
lot of the old school guys would go defensive or offensive.
LINEMAN i do think there would be some new school
guys that might take Like Justin jefferson Or Jamar, chase
(01:07:55):
which to me would be. Crazy but let's say if
you're Taken Jamar chase in a, draft, like it's hard
for me to blame. You do you Think Zach robinson
is over his head as an Nfloc he just doesn't
seem to have awareness to adjust and tries the same stupid,
plays that ridiculous outside zone run that kept the forty nine.
Ers the forty nine ers kept blowing up in, particular
(01:08:16):
especially in crucial. Situations is he holding the team back
or are we just flat out screwed due to bad quarterback.
Choices i've always said, this there is like an instinctive
nature to play, calling and it's pretty easy to watch
a natural play caller and watch a guy who is
not cut out for the. Job AND i would say
(01:08:37):
The Zach, ROBINSON i mean, one The Atlanta falcons are
just pretty chaotic. Place you, KNOW i think this all
stems back to the way the process of The cousins
And Michael pennick's signing slash selection. Happened is pretty unprecedented
(01:08:58):
because they have this new, administration but THE gm is
staying and they fell in love With Michael pennix like
three weeks before the. Draft that's just not a good
process where it's like THE, gm you should have had
some knowledge if you're drafting eighth of let's really study
these quarterbacks when you guys get hired. Before we Give
(01:09:18):
Kirk cousins all this money and we could have had
a more well rounded team and just gone in With,
pennix who Now cousins is just twenty seven point five
million dollars is a backup, quarterback which is. INSANE i
just think, that you, know the outside zone. THING i
have no problem with Giving beijon more. TOUCHES i honestly
(01:09:39):
think they didn't give him enough touches because part of
the outside zone is like The niners are blowing it.
Up all it takes is him to one cut back
and have a forty yard. RUN i thought that they
got away from him too, often and, YEAH i MEAN
i it just hasn't gone. Well it just and the
reality is when you're Ahem, dorus whoever you hired as
(01:10:02):
your coordinator to be the, baby to like make the
offense their, baby you were gonna be pretty beholden to
and his. Success like if you hired the Next Kyle,
Shanahan sean, McVay kevin, O'Connell you'd be in really good
shape and your offense would be. Potent but if you
hired a guy who just, struggled And zach has had
some good, moments but it does feel like he's had
(01:10:23):
more bad moments than good, moments you're on the fast
track to all getting. FIRED i Think atlanta is in major.
TROUBLE i think the job status for everyone in that
building is up in the. Air if they don't make the.
Playoffs it would not shock me at off every single
human got, fired coaching, staff in front office if they
end up eight to nine and The bucks cruise to
(01:10:44):
eleven or twelve wins and teams like the, NIGHT i,
mean you just lost the forty nine. Ers who's you know?
Best two defensive, players once at home with a torn
acl and the other has a cast riding a scooter
round up in a suite that's who beats you and
you Have Bjon, Robinson Drake london And Kyle. Pitts how
does that? Happen pennix was, Bad penix did not look,
(01:11:09):
good looked really. Bad And i'm A penis, guy but
that was what the hell's going on? There can you
make the point that part of the reason the forty
Nine ers are still competitive is the fact That shanahan
is a. Badass like The, falcons they have way more
talent and the fact That niners are currently winning is pure. Coaching,
(01:11:30):
YEAH i mean last, night AND i said this immediately
after the game IS i think the hardest part in,
football and every coach talks about this from high school
obviously to college and the pros is culture is a
tone being set by the leadership from a head coach
to the star, players and the forty Nine ers relative
(01:11:52):
to The, falcons like it's not a fair, fight man for,
man guy for. Guy you could argue The falcons were
a better team going into the game just individual, players
but football is a team game led by the coaches
and the coordinators and THE nfl more than high. School
in college is a lot about the x's and no's
(01:12:13):
and inspiring The jimmy's and The joe's to play within the.
Scheme and What kyle And Robert salah and they did
was just a. Masterclass kyle's had some incredible wins in
his tenure as a, coach but he's had some really good.
Teams you, know Said he's had teams that are star
studded with all pros and high priced. Guys when you're
(01:12:34):
Missing Fred warner And Nick bosa and you can Take
Tatum bethoom and some of these random, rookies some slot
Receiver lucas or slot, Corner it's, like what is going
On Mac. Jones it's pretty. Nuts and meanwhile they're dealing
with the eighth overall pick In, Pennix Drake, london the
(01:12:55):
fourth overall, Pick, beijon the eighth, Pick Drake, london the
seventh pick or eighth. PICK i, mean it's just the
how is this? Happening and the answer is. Simple those
people are over their head that they're not good. Enough
AND i Think Raheem, morris Like Kyle, shanahan would love
to Have Raheem morris on his. Staff If Robert sala
becomes the head coach of The titans or The Arizona
(01:13:18):
cardinals this. Offseason it would not stun me at all
if they all get. Fired he Hires Raheem morris to
be his defensive, coordinator but, like that's probably what he
is and there's nothing wrong with, that Asked. Roberts. Sol
he's making five six million dollars a. Year same thing
With Vic. Fangio some people are just not meant to
be head coaches because it's really. Hard i'm not acting
LIKE i could do every, role just like most of you.
(01:13:38):
Listening there are certain roles that a lot of us
could not. Do we'd be, overwhelmed couldn't, focus you, know
the details would get lost in. Translation we would. Fail
and it's no different being a quarterback in THE, nfl
being a being a coordinator in THE, nfl definitely being
a head coach in THE. Nfl there are certain guys
that are not, qualified or let me rephrase, that that
(01:13:59):
are qualified on. Paper but it's like. Academia you could
give me a lot of theories on a. Whiteboard let's
get out in the real, world supply. Demand give me
all that. Bullshit can you go sell this ice to An?
Eskimo can you create a business based on these, widgets
because if you, can't, LIKE i don't give a shit
what you teach me in this. TEXTBOOK a lot of
guys can talk, football can you, know sell you on a,
(01:14:21):
vision but, like can they execute it with the actual
team and their coaching staff in a? Building and the
answer clearly is no. Question what If kyle decided to
Draft Mac jones at third overall instead Of Trey lance
the small sample, Size max looked pretty damn good Running kyle's.
Offense at least he would have gotten somewhat of a
return on the third overall. Pick that's an incredible. HYPOTHETICAL
(01:14:46):
i think he would have been good enough That Brock
purty never, happens AND i DON'T i don't know Because
Mac jones is not as good As Brock purdy because
he can't. Move but he definitely is better than the
guy that we saw in New ing in the last
couple of. Years because in this offense that is very quarterback.
Friendly kyle schemes guys open when the running game. Works
(01:15:08):
it's just it's a great place to be a quarterback
in the. Offense most of these guys that play in this,
offense they rave about. It because it it's easier on.
You they're Not kyle's not asking you to carry the,
ship and Mac jones can't carry the. Ship DO i
think he would have been a quote unquote bust BECAUSE
i think and, listen he's resurrecting his, career but, anytime
(01:15:28):
like to The, patriots he was a. Bust, right he
did not get a contract, extension he was. Gone they
traded him to The. Jacks DO i think he would
have been from being? Drafted is he still currently the?
Starter i'm probably fifty to fifty on, that BECAUSE i
do think he has some physical limitations AND i, think you,
(01:15:51):
know part of what made pretty special over a couple
course of a couple of years was his athletic ability
and his ad. Libability now it also has got him
in trouble, Recently like he's throwing some bad picks scrambling.
Around but Mac jones cannot do that even when he's.
Healthy so and the forty Nine ers don't exactly have
the greatest offensive line in the league, history so he'd
be getting hit a. LOT i definitely, think like you,
(01:16:14):
Know Trey lance didn't make it the year. Three he
was traded before week one to The. COWBOYS i think
Mac jones would have played out several, years like probably
four years. Now are they picking up a fifty year
option or they signed him a new. EXTENSION i do
Think kyle can be pretty, stubborn so he would have
probably done some of that if it was just going.
Decently but, like there's a big difference between competing to
(01:16:34):
win eight nine games and Like purdy was a starting
quarterback as the teams win a lot of. Games so
could Mac jones have done? THAT i definitely wouldn't say
he couldn't do, it BUT i wouldn't just feel confident
that it would look eighty percent of what party. Was
now that being, said he has been awesome this. YEAR
a ton of respect for, him AND i think he's
in his perfect. Role what Mac jones should be is
(01:16:58):
like the highest paid backup in THE, nfl and he
can play in the league for a long. Time Whatever
Chase daniel made forty fifty million, Dollars matt could make
one hundred and. FIFTY a lot of questions About Pete
(01:17:22):
carroll and The. RAIDERS i don't REALLY i don't really
know what to. SAY i don't think he's just gonna
get fired after one. Year you can't just keep firing
people year after year like that is just Not this
isn't like when you're twenty eight trying to find a
serious girlfriend and you just go on a lot of.
Dates you can't really operate like that with a. Coach
(01:17:43):
you Hire Pete, Carroll you've got to give him a
couple of years to kind of do what he. Does.
Now if it doesn't, work it doesn't. Work if his
magic is, gone his magic's. Gone but you can't just
seven games in because it's not going that. Well be
like we got to get rid of for Who you're
gonna fire him for? What coach and everything that he
just spent, nine, ten twelve months. Doing do you just
(01:18:04):
erase all that from the building and start from. Scratch
SO I i think you've got to be very careful
about Doing And i'd say the same thing About Aaron,
glenn like give him a couple of. YEARS i saw
he used to have a podcast on the. Volume now
he's With Barstool, tbob who played FOR lsu for a.
While he went ON i saw On instagram this epic.
Rant he's just so tired of all these college coaches
(01:18:25):
being paid fifty sixty seventy million dollars to go. Away
it's like he's AN lsu grad and he played AT
lsu and like their. Heyday like With Les, MILES i
think he was a freshman on a national championship. TEAM
i think his senior year he went back to the national.
Championship they lost To. Bama but he was on some
elite teams with elite. Players and his whole take was,
Like i'm not cool with Paying Brian kelly fifty million
(01:18:46):
dollars to go? Away how about, This Brian, kelly fire
some coaches and figure it to bleep? Out, like how
about you get back to like a ten to eleven
win team like you had At Notre. Dame it's what
we're paying you to. Do so is this gonna be? Miserable,
yeah but we're not paying you to go play golf In.
Florida that's not gonna happen. Here we're paying you to,
work paying you to. Coach and the reason he got
(01:19:07):
ninety million dollars is for a, decade you won a
lot of games In Notre. Dame so now you're AT.
Lsu figure it. Out AND i was, like you know,
WHAT i kind of, agree like are we just gonna
pay all the like the one thing With James. Franklin
James franklin had been there over a, decade so it's, like,
yeah you kind of. Know Brian kelly is a year. Four,
now DO i think he's in? Trouble? Yes DO i
think he's going? Well of course. Not BUT i also do, understand,
(01:19:29):
like what are we doing? Here can't we just give
him like five or six or seven years to, like
we're paying him to try to figure this out and
maybe he's gonna, fail but we gotta pay him no matter,
What so we might as well attempt to see, if
like maybe year five this pops and maybe. Doesn't But
i'm not paying him to go play country club golf
(01:19:52):
six days a week for three. Years why are there
so many terrible purgatory franchise in THE? Nfl it seems
like every year the top ten teams drafting is just
a different combination of the same ten. Teams is it
bad ownership for an office or really just bad juju
certain franchises can't. Shake just look at The giants game
(01:20:15):
against The. Broncos it's an incredible choke, job but they
have at least three of these a. Season uh you,
KNOW i obviously ownership plays a, role, Right but at
the end of the, day most of these owners are
Not Dan snyder that they're not telling you who to
draft in the first round after you've done all the
(01:20:37):
work and they show up ten minutes before round, one
grab a cheeseburger and some, sushi and then when your
pick comes up number seven, overall they pointed a, name they,
say that's who you're. Picking most of these guys legitimately
hire people and let them. Cook and most of these
people are just completely over their. Head let's look at The.
Lions is The ford family a complete? Joke you would
(01:21:01):
have said for most of my? Life hell, yeah their
ownership is an. Embarrassment and then what they. Do they
hired two guys who are good at their. Jobs and
what has happened to The lions ever? Since they've won
and they've become a real. Franchise the drafts in the,
twenties the players in the first round the second round
made it to AN nfc championship game for the first
time in thirty. Years that, again recording this before The
(01:21:23):
monday night, game is going to compete again to win
the division like they're just. Real but what did they
do anything different or did they just hire the right? People,
so LIKE i saw The giants With Jerry reese And Tom,
coughlin like they were a pretty stable, franchise and then
ever since they've just gone through, gms they've gone through
head coaches and spent at, Debacle like The, titans are
they an? Embarrassment, well they are, now and they were
(01:21:46):
Before vrabel when they Had brabel And John, Robinson like
they felt like a pretty stable. Operation AND i think
players that played there would tell you that. Too SO
i think in a weird, way there's just a huge
element of. Luck do you hire the right? Guy and
sometimes like you deserve criticism for being cheap on, hire you,
(01:22:08):
know forever The, Chargers like what do you think you're
gonna get when you're Hiring Brandis day or you, Know Anthony,
leonard these guys they're not going to be head coaches,
Anywhere like you, deserve you, know all the criticism that
comes your way from the, fans the, media. Whoever. Right
but a lot of times it's LIKE i think The,
giants like we're Hiring Joe shane And Brian, daball two
(01:22:30):
guys from The bills like pretty normal. HIRES i remember
When Mark davis Hired ziegler And josh. McDaniels i'm, LIKE
i probably would have hired them. Too that forty nine ers.
Tried The colts, tried, like it's not that crazy of a.
Hire now it, failed and looking, back it's easy to
Go god they. Suck but at the TIME i was,
like IF i Was Mark, DAVIS i would have hired him.
(01:22:51):
Too what's going on With lafleur's play? Calling running an
end around on third and five that loses two, yards
then Asking Jordan love to convert a fourth and. Sixth
that's just bad situational. Football if you're gonna Have love
throw on fourth and, long you might as well trust
him to throw in third down instead of putting him
in a worse. Position this isn't On Jordan, love it's
(01:23:14):
on the play. Calling they might need to consider a.
CHANGE i think this goes back now two. Years they
have just been a slow starting. Offense most of last.
YEAR i remember talking about him a, lot and obviously
this year you look, up it's Like Jordan love is
seventy yards at halftime now on this individual game long.
(01:23:36):
Flight the flight was delayed weird. Travel but, MAN i
just one of my favorite bets of the week was
just hammering The packers and then of Course jacoby they're.
Leading it's, like what is going on? Here Thank god
For Micah, parsons WHO i THINK i read had ten,
pressures obviously had a bunch of, sacks but something just.
(01:23:57):
Off THERE'S i would say this The packer and The,
broncos it's just not really, clicking like the play calling
with their head coach who's both highly thought, of Like
lafour has a long track, record now Obviously sean's is really,
long but you watch them play offense and both of,
them what are The packers now four and two because
(01:24:18):
they had to buy and The broncos are five and?
Two but when you watch them, play let's just bring
up The. PACKERS i, get, oh they have the. TIE
i don't, know somethings just trying to look at their
point differential kind of the. SAME i can't put my
(01:24:41):
finger on it BECAUSE i actually Think Jordan love like
you watch me make some really good. Throws you, KNOW
i Know jacobs was sick going into that. GAME i
don't have a great answer for. YOU i, mean you're
you're looking at a guy that has a bet on
them to make the Super. Bowl, OBVIOUSLY i have several
parlays with, them include to win the division not feeling
(01:25:02):
great about. It question for the, back Does colin ever
try to throttle in quotes you or get you to
stay away from certain topics or even quote manage the
language you. USE i would guess, not and then he
wants you to speak your. Mind but was just curious
how that. Worked we all answer to, somebody And i've always.
WONDERED i, Mean i've never been told to. ONE i
(01:25:27):
talk LIKE i, talk like you were in business together
in this, medium like my, LANGUAGE i speak LIKE i.
SPEAK i don't, know we'll, say but they have never
ever said, anything if, ANYTHING i try sometimes to throttle
back BECAUSE i, know like, Listen i'm very fortunate that
(01:25:47):
this medium in twenty twenty. Five moving, FORWARD i, mean
so many of you guys that twenty years ago would
have been big radio. Guys connect your phone to the,
car listen in the. Car, Well i've worked in. Radio
it's kid. Friendly so like WHEN i was ten years
old driving around with my, dad he could have on
sports talk and people weren't gonna, swear AND i know
(01:26:08):
a lot of you guys drive around pick up your
kids and If i'm on in the background just swearing
left and, RIGHT i. DO i think of that more
than no one's ever told me anything on. That and
when it comes to, topics there's nothing that we've ever
talked about that was off. Limits, again it's most of
the stuff we're talking about is football. Related and, listen
(01:26:29):
he's friends with people THAT i PROBABLY i, guess, quote, trash,
criticize don't think highly. Of AND i would say it
probably be the same thing that he's critical of people
that are my. FRIENDS i mean the job we're. In so,
Yeah i've never been told anything by anyone when it
(01:26:51):
comes to topics or my language beside, myself AND i.
Do WHEN i first started this, PODCAST i THINK i
swore probably way too, much AND i was PROBABLY i
don't know the reason behind, it maybe because you could
and maybe that's just WHEN i came from radio and
(01:27:13):
you could just say whatever you. Wanted and then the
More i've done this and a lot of you guys have, said, hey,
LISTEN i love bu BUT i drive around with my
ten year old in the. CARTS i tried to be
cognizant of that and be careful of just how many
f moms not at the same. Time like you, know
if you don't think your kids swearing in elementary, school
you got another thing. Coming but, listen we don't want
(01:27:34):
to teach bad habits here trying to be, uh we're
trying to be positive influences on. Society so appreciate the
question and we'll just we'll throttle forward and. LISTEN i
Appreciate i've been very fortunate to be with an operation
that does not care at all as long as you're
having success generating, views, listens and. Revenue double thumbs. Up
(01:27:56):
let it rip baby the volume
