Speaker 1 (00:09):
You're listening to a podcast from News Talks EDB. Follow
this and our Wide Ranger podcast now on iHeartRadio The
Big League Podcast podcast poet by News TALKSV.
Speaker 2 (00:23):
This week on The Big League Podcast, the first Warrior
to play State of Origin, Kevin Campion joins to relive
his glory Queensland days, explain what it's like playing as
the enemy in Sydney, and give his take on who
should become the Warriors Number one half back. Chris Reeve
is in off the interchange to unpack the Warriors women's
return to the NRLW and discuss what's most important for
(00:47):
the men to snap their two game losing streak. My
name is Nathan Limb.
Speaker 3 (00:52):
Let's go BLV.
Speaker 2 (00:54):
Major questions will this week be asked of and answered
by the Warriors. Luke Metcalf, Charles Nickercrook, Star Mitch Barnett
and Dallan Wattenis Lesniak are all out of action. This
team continues to wear the blow after blow and will
do so off the back of a two game slide.
Do they have the quality to maintain a top four finish?
(01:16):
I believe they do. Only three of their remaining nine
opposition are currently in the top eight. There are no
easy runs in the NRL, but consistent form against weaker
sides will put the Warriors in prime position to clinch
a home finals fixture. Chris Reeve, New Zealand Herald writer,
It's a fascinating week for the club with potentially the
(01:37):
most anticipated team naming of the year to come.
Speaker 3 (01:41):
Yeah, that's a good way to put it.
Speaker 4 (01:43):
I don't know if a fixture against the Tigers would
have been all that exciting to people if we weren't
in this position. I'm very interested to see who they
name it seven.
Speaker 3 (01:54):
You know, Tanner Boyd was signed.
Speaker 4 (01:57):
He's not really not really been talked about that much,
and all of a sudden he seems like the obvious
option to come into the squad.
Speaker 3 (02:06):
Whether whether or not he does, it's the guy.
Speaker 2 (02:10):
Is he your choice place?
Speaker 3 (02:12):
He would be my choice at seven.
Speaker 4 (02:14):
I would keep to Mightighty Martin in that fourteen role,
just to be available in cases needed. Again, you know,
he came off the bench when Luke Metcalf got injured.
Snell Harris Savita stepped up after that injury. So whether
or not they want to keep that going, that's what
That's what I would do, but you know more, more
(02:35):
smarter people are pulling the strings than me.
Speaker 2 (02:38):
At this point in the season, Chris Reeve, because this
is the first time you've been on the podcast this year.
It is debut in twenty twenty five, welcome back. At
this point in the season, given the Warriors two game side,
the players that they have out, but also this run
of games that they have to finish the season, they've
got a lot of more of the bottom eight sides
to come. Do you think they're going to finish top four?
How well are they poised do you think at this
(03:00):
point given everything?
Speaker 3 (03:01):
Yeah, I think given everything.
Speaker 4 (03:03):
If you look back to that last game against the Broncos,
they lost a couple of Keith players, they still defended really,
really well, and obviously they went down pretty big pretty early.
But I think we can take a lot of positives
out of that game. Looking like you said before, they
don't have a lot of top eight competition left. The
next three games are against bottom tier sides, and what
(03:27):
we've seen from the guys available should give us enough
confidence that you know, they can win these games, whether
or not they win them convincingly. At the end of
the day, they just need to get the two points.
Speaker 2 (03:38):
And we're going to look ahead to the Tigers. Later
on in the podcast, we are going to discuss the
Warriors women's return to the NRRALW as well. But up
next former Warrior Kevin Campion, who's going to give us
his pick for the Warriors halfback jersey and also State
of Origin game three coming up on wedd and stay
(04:00):
as well. Let's relive some of his biff from his
time in the Jersey the Big League Podcast. Well, with
a state of Origin this week, who better to have
on The Big League Podcast to talk about it in
the first Warrior to play State of Origin Kevin Campion. Kevin,
thank you so much for your time. How are you?
Speaker 5 (04:20):
I'm great, Nathan pleasure mate. It's been a beautiful day
here on the on the Gold Coast here, so I'm
leaving up some sun but it's a bit chilly.
Speaker 2 (04:28):
Plenty going on. Obviously, you featured in for Queensland in
ninety seven one and two experience when the lost and
draw in terms of the series, but I wanted to
ask you just first of all, before we get into
the State of Origin stuff, about what you've made of
the Warriors recently and specifically obviously Luke Metcalfe's injury charsic
of Crook stars injury, major players going down. Where do
(04:52):
you think the Warriors are at and how should they
handle this?
Speaker 5 (04:56):
Look, I think we'll handle it pretty well. To te
you the tree, I think we've got some good depth.
Ow new South Wales Cup team is doing extremely well.
I think they've won ten in a row. Tomorrow Martin's
ready to come in to replace Luke Metcalfe. You know,
it's a big loss for us. He's been probably our
best player all year, so he's been in some awesome
(05:18):
form and yeah, it's it's sad to lose chance as well.
So look, but I know we've got the depth because
our New South Wales team is going really well and
there's a lot of experience first graders in that team
that are just chomping at the bit to get in
that top side.
Speaker 2 (05:36):
So as to MINDI Martin, you're peck to replace metcalf
at halfback, not tenor Boyd.
Speaker 6 (05:41):
Look, I would go with.
Speaker 5 (05:42):
Either one, but I know Tomorrow's you know, he's been
used off the bench a bit more. I think Tenner's
you know, he can play half, he can play hooker.
So he can play different positions as well. So but
i'd like to see tomorrow get a shot at there.
But you know, Tenner's been waiting as well, hasn't debuted
(06:03):
yet in first but look, he's not far off.
Speaker 2 (06:07):
Fantastic. Okay, we talk about switch focus over to state
of Origin and there's a Queensland victor and if you
think back to you know, ninety seven one two, what
was it like entering the Origin arena through that period?
Speaker 5 (06:25):
Oh look, ninety seven I debuted for the Queensland Super
League side. We had the Super League Try Series back
then where the New Zealand side was involved in the
State of Origin. So look, yeah, I think I think
we lost against New South Wales in the first game.
(06:46):
We beat News sorry Auckland sorry the Warriors in the
second game and went to the desider in the third
against New South Wales and I think it was the
longest game in rugby league history, went for over one
hundred minutes and Noel Goldthorpe kicked a winning field goal
to to think Queensland's dreams. But yeah, so my origin
(07:07):
debut you when you talk about origin. So it wasn't
until two thousand and one when I was representing the
Warriors and made the side from there. So yeah, it
was very special. It was a long time, you know,
a lite long dream for me to play for Queensland
(07:28):
and yeah, look it was something special. And that first
year two thousand and one, we won the first game
convincingly lost the second one and we bought and I
think Gordon tell Us, who was our you know, who
was our tribal leader, hurt his neck in one of
one club game and was ruled out for the rest
(07:49):
of this season, and I think that was the reason
why we bought Elfie langenback from over in England. And yeah,
it was a night of nights he put on a
clinic against the Blues and yeah we got away with
a win.
Speaker 2 (08:03):
How different do you think State of Origin is then
compared to now. A lot of people will look back
on on highlights from the nineties and the two thousands
and maybe even earlier, and you know, it seemed a
lot looser if you put it that way.
Speaker 6 (08:17):
Oh look, I think it's a bit more structured now,
you know.
Speaker 5 (08:20):
The you know, obviously the club games and the coaching
are really structured, you know, and I think that sort
of has been brought into the Origin arena where you
know you've got ex club coaches coaching, and whether they're
students of the game. Obviously, Billy Slater and Laurie Daily,
(08:43):
they you know, they've they've they've been around the systems
for so long. And but I just think it's you know,
it's different because back in the day Elfie Langer it
was you know, he wasn't a structure structured player.
Speaker 6 (09:01):
Look, it was a lot of ad lib.
Speaker 5 (09:03):
You know, he chip and Chase grubber and he put
put the defending teams under immense pressure just by doing that.
And but he was tough too, and he was a
great leader.
Speaker 2 (09:15):
Is there a moment of bith that stands out from
your time in Origin? Some people won't want to admit it,
but one of the one of the standout things about
Origin is, you know, if you look throughout history, the fights,
the talk that the angst, the aggression between the two sides,
the hate, if you can call it that, is there
is there a particular moment that you experienced some of
(09:37):
that that stands out in your memory.
Speaker 5 (09:41):
Look, there's always been a hate between Queens and a
New South Wales, and I don't think that'll ever stop.
But there's also a lot of respect there, you know,
and you've got to respect New South Wales for putting
up with, you know, with eight seasons in a row
that they they got beaten in every series. So so
there's a lot of hate because of that. Back in
(10:02):
my day, I think Gordon tell Us probably stands out
the most. He was very influential, he was very feared
on the field as well, and he never took a
backward step, and you know, I think that's for his
remains one of the great Origin players of all time.
Speaker 2 (10:21):
Did you mouth off at anyone on the field.
Speaker 6 (10:26):
No one could hear me. To tell you the truth,
I didn't prodict that far. I tell you.
Speaker 2 (10:32):
Given Game three in Sydney, New South Wales with the
home advantage, what is it like as a Queenslander playing
in Sydney, what is that environment like?
Speaker 6 (10:46):
Well, it's daunting.
Speaker 5 (10:47):
Yeah. Look, there's no room for mistake in any game
of Origin, and that's the thing, you know, I think
because we won that second game, I think it's put
a lot of doubt that in the New South Wales side,
and I think we're going to take that into Game three.
We've picked some real feared players. Papaly who's coming back
(11:09):
into the side. He's got a point to prove. This
will be his last game in Origin. I'm not sure
if he's retiring, retiring from club Land, but he will
make a great impact and he obviously is a great
leader and the team will respect that as well, and
that'll put a bit of fear into We need some
(11:31):
big boppers and he's one guy that it's a left
field call, but I think it's the right call from Billy.
Speaker 2 (11:40):
What did you make of Kurk Capewell in game two?
Obviously names to repeat in game three.
Speaker 5 (11:46):
Yeah, Look, he was outstanding. He's been outstanding all year
for the Warriors and he really deserved his So I
wasn't surprised that he got a call up in great
game two and he was outstanding in defense. He's been
outstanding playing out a position for the Warriors in the centers.
Obviously we all know he's a great back rower, but
you know, to go out a bit further in defense,
(12:08):
and you know, lining up against guys who are quicker
he's been.
Speaker 6 (12:13):
He's been.
Speaker 5 (12:14):
You know, he's been great for us and he was
great for Queensland in the game too. You know, I
thought possibly men of the match, but yeah, cam Munster
obviously deserved it.
Speaker 2 (12:26):
And just finally, Kevin, we thank you so much for
your time. Can I get a score prediction for game three?
Can you? Can you be unbiased? Is that possible? If
you for queens Look.
Speaker 5 (12:38):
Game two, I predicted that we Queensland would put twenty
on on New South Wales. So I'm a bit hesitant.
I know this, This will just be, you know, one
of the great games of rugby league. It'll be just
a grind between two teams who really want to win
this series just for bragging rights, more so for the
(13:00):
New South Wales. Uh, you know team, But look, we
have to play to our best, Queen, and have to
play our best to beat New South Wales. There's such
a great side, they're full of superstars and we're certainly
the underdogs and look if we one, I'll be very happy.
Speaker 2 (13:19):
Can we get a score prediction? A final score?
Speaker 5 (13:23):
Given it's going to be a low scoring game, I think,
you know, I think it'll come down to a field
goald let's say thirteen fold.
Speaker 2 (13:34):
Oh fantastic. That will be one of the all time games. Kevin,
thank you for that, hey, thank you so much for
taking the time to be on the Big League Podcast.
We really appreciate your time, your wisdom, and your insight
into State of Origin and also the state of the Warriors.
So thank you so much.
Speaker 6 (13:50):
Thanks mate much appreciate myself tears.
Speaker 7 (13:52):
This is the Big League Podcast. This is going yeah,
the Big League Podcast.
Speaker 6 (14:00):
I'm on the Warriors Bad Wagons.
Speaker 7 (14:02):
It's day one.
Speaker 2 (14:03):
Great to hear from Kevin Campion there, Rave, if you
were in State of Origin, would you be dishing out
some shit talk?
Speaker 3 (14:10):
Absolutely? Absolutely, I feel like that.
Speaker 4 (14:12):
I feel like that would be my biggest contribution to
the team.
Speaker 3 (14:19):
But that's just me being not very great at rugby league.
Speaker 4 (14:23):
So you know, you need those guys, and it's like
in ice hockey where you've just got the guys who
go around starting fights. You need someone like that in
your team.
Speaker 2 (14:30):
So you'd be that guy, because I think i'd bear
a shit talker as well, but that's only because that's
my job. I don't know if I'd be able to
back it up in the same way Kevin Campion could
on the field if he was to dish it out,
But interesting to hear that he would was a little
bit more reserved and wouldn't delve into that. I would
have thought it'd be quite tempting given all the hype
and the speculation and the fan interest as well. We're
(14:51):
going to get into some Tigers preview shortly, but first
Warriors fans. We have a new team to support. The
bloke talk's being applied here.
Speaker 1 (14:59):
Piko the Tricia Maliapo.
Speaker 4 (15:08):
Was the Warriors first trime on their return to NRLW.
Speaker 2 (15:13):
Yes, the Warriors women are back in the NRLW competition
and returned in a thirty to six defeat at the
hands of the reigning Premiere Roosters in Sydney. I want
to have unpack this game, Chris Reeve, because it's the
first time we've seen them in years, since twenty twenty
at completely new look side. Obviously sixteen club debutants in
(15:34):
that seventeen are Petey Nichols the only returning. My thoughts
from this game. First of all, I want to talk
about Patricia Malley Apple, who has come over from Union
a Black Fern's utility back. She's played first five fullback,
she's midfielder as well. Just won a Super Rugby Opicky
title with the Blues as well and to me, she
was the standout player. She did not look like she's
just come across from union. I was a bit concerned
(15:57):
that it might take a bit of time to adjust
to a five eighth role, which is very different to
playing number twelve or first five in rugby. But I
thought she did brilliantly well, clearly a ball running five eighth,
scored that opening try for the Warriors, and hustled on defense.
What did you make of her?
Speaker 3 (16:13):
Yeah, very similar.
Speaker 4 (16:14):
When I saw her named at five eight, I was
a little bit surprised. I wasn't sure how things are
going to go there. Like you said, I thought she
might take a little bit of time to find her feet.
But she looked great, and she did well to score
that try. She looked in control, and yeah, like you said,
a lot of positive signs. Therefore, you know going forward.
Speaker 2 (16:34):
And one has just come over, Yeah, of course, And
obviously there are a few of the players who have
come over from the likes of sevens and union. But
obviously in a thirty to six defeat like they got thrashed,
we have to be blunt about that. And in terms
of where they go from here and things moving forward,
it was always going to take a little bit of
time for them to jowl and get used to being
back in the NRLW and no more difficult challenge in
(16:57):
coming up against the reigning premieres. But basic errors were
what I thought were the biggest issue with the Warriors
women's performance. Three of the roosters six tries came in
sets immediately after unforced errors. You think back to Peyton
Tuckey Moore Mina dropping the ball five out from her
own line, Mikayla Brake jumping and then batting the ball
(17:17):
back when contesting a bomb, but there was no one
behind her, so she batted it back. The Roosters pounced
on it and later scored. And then a Pete Nichols
captain in the second half passing the ball forward and
into touch. The Roosters get the ball back and they
score in the next set. Those aren't things you want
to see, least of all from your captain. But the
positive of those is that they are controllable errors. They
(17:39):
are things that the Warriors did to themselves and hopefully
with a bit more time in the center they can
fix that come next round. Yeah.
Speaker 4 (17:46):
Absolutely, you can't give the reigning premiers, who are again
a really good team and probably favored to win the
title again this time around. That many opportunities, especially deep
in your in your own territory. I mean that said,
you know some of those groundings, you know, other teams
might not have scored those couple on the wing that
(18:06):
you know, the defense was good, the down was just better.
Speaker 2 (18:09):
And the left edge defense is probably the other thing
that I pointed to in terms of areas from improvement.
The Rooster scored three tries down that same edge. What
did you make of it and what went wrong?
Speaker 4 (18:21):
Yeah, it was it was very clear that they were
attacking that edge. I don't know if it was a
case of you know, maybe a little bit of an
experience in the Warriors, but every time it just looked
like they were trying to build and play out that
side of the field and a lot of success there,
so why not keep going to it?
Speaker 2 (18:39):
And there were a few more positives. I mean Eleisha
on Albert Jones, niece of Stacy Jones, man, I wouldn't
want to run at her. She's got a shoulder on
her her defense. She put on some out like Blockbuster
has really got me hyped. I thought tysha Ichinasio's come
in from you know, Olympic seven's gold medalist alongside Mcalla
Breaker has come in as well. She had some great
(19:00):
defensive moments at center and one of the more difficult
positions in league to come from another sport. She was
coming out of the line and making her tackles. So
I was quite impressed with those two as well. And
I thought in terms of their attacking shape, they weren't
exactly They weren't fireworks on the fifth tackle plays or
anything like that, but their shape looked good in the
lead up when they were attacking the Roosters twenty. What
(19:20):
did you make of those areas?
Speaker 4 (19:22):
Yeah, very very much the same. I thought they looked
quite good when they were trying to attack. A little
bit clunky at the start of the game, but that
soon sort of came out and they did look good.
To be interesting to see how they go this weekend
against the Eels. You know, getting the rooster's week one
can be a good thing and a bad thing. Obviously,
they did lose quite considerably, but that's the best team
(19:45):
in the competition. They'll take a lot out of that
game and come into this one against the team who
scraped through against the Sharks in their first.
Speaker 2 (19:52):
Game, and as you said, the Warriors women hosting the
Eels on Sunday afternoon as part of a Mount Smart
double header with the men. Speaking of, the Warriors face
the Tigers at four pm on looking to snap their
two game losing streak. Those losses obviously coming against the
(20:13):
Panthers and the Broncos. They're coming off the bye. The
Tigers sit fourteenth on the ladder with six wins and
ten losses. They're coming off an upset thirty to twenty
eight win over the Roosters in Sydney. They didn't have
Jerome lay Up, corus Ow and Jerreim Buller. The Roosters
also without five Origin players as well, and they got
(20:34):
out to a twenty zero lead in the first half
the Tigers, but they let the Roosters back into It
went down to the final play and that managed to
keep the Roosters out. It breaks their six game losing streak.
Chris Reeve, the Tigers have been very hot and cold.
There's been a bit of off field drama this season
with Rocki Galvin going to the Bulldogs. What do you
(20:56):
make of the Tigers? Could they just not show up
next week? Are they are a big threat. What do they pose?
Speaker 3 (21:02):
Yeah, the Tigers are a strange team this year, aren't they.
Speaker 4 (21:05):
They can be so good and they can be just
so bad. Like you said, they went out to a
twenty nero lead against the Rousters. Let them back in.
I will say the Final Brothers looked really good, getting
you an opportunity this week whether or not, you know,
the Tigers are able to bounce back. I think it
would have been much better for the Warriors if they
(21:28):
did kind of let that game get away from them.
But they played well, Benji Marshall said in his press
conference after the game. Even if they had lost it,
you know, they could be happy with the performance that
they put out with so many guys out and guys
playing out of position. So the Tigers will definitely come
in this weekend with some confidence. And what they were
able to do against the Roosters. I mean, looking at
(21:50):
both of those lineups going into this game, it's kind
of the fun of origin, isn't it. You see some
guys you normally wouldn't see. You're not really sure how
either team are going to play, and the Tigers really
just showed up.
Speaker 2 (22:03):
And we'll confirm with Andrew Webster later in the week.
But you'd imagine, given they're only coming from Sydney, that
those players Leui Corrossow and obviously Capewell on the Warriors
side of things will back up from Sydney.
Speaker 3 (22:16):
Yeah, you would.
Speaker 4 (22:17):
You would imagine, so just jump up over the ditch.
But yeah, I guess we'll wait and see how they
pull through Origin.
Speaker 2 (22:23):
First of all, Now, in regards to the Warriors, if
we just remind ourselves last game against Brisbane, the Warriors
were era ridden. They conceded consecutive penalties which marched Brisbane
up the field, and they didn't take their chances on
attack when they had them inside the Brisbane twenty and thirty.
For me, a discipline and concentration of the two major
(22:44):
work ons. I think the buye came at a good time.
I didn't think it was a great time for the
buy because there's only three games in between the warriors
last two buys, but given Metcalf's injury the two games
slide Nickel crook Star's injury as well, I thought it
came at a really good time. What do you want
to see from the Warriors this weekend? It's going to
be a different line up. We're gonna have a different
spine presumably came to a peaky goes into fullback. We'll
(23:06):
have Boyd or Martin at half. What do you want
to see from the Warriors?
Speaker 4 (23:10):
Just want to see them play with some confidence and execute.
I think executions the big one. You know you are
missing some key players. But if you can come out
and maybe put the Tigers under the pump nice and
early score, score early try, maybe that'll really let the
team sort of go forward and basically do what they
need to do.
Speaker 3 (23:28):
And discipline.
Speaker 4 (23:29):
Of course, like like you said, huge area of improvement
against the Broncos, they kind of just put themselves under
too much pressure in that area.
Speaker 2 (23:37):
Does in course he retain his spot on the week,
didn't have a great performance against Brisbane.
Speaker 4 (23:42):
Yeah, I'm not sure. I don't know who else I
play there at the moment.
Speaker 3 (23:46):
Yeah, he's available.
Speaker 2 (23:47):
I think he's still there, just because Taine will be
the choice to go to fall back.
Speaker 4 (23:54):
Unless they're gonna maybe try to Mighty Martin at fullback.
Speaker 3 (23:57):
He has played there.
Speaker 2 (23:58):
In the past. I've seen a few people throwing that
out there to Mighty Martin goes to fullback. Taine on
one wing, Roger Tuivasaschek on the other, and then board
it half back. I'd actually be really interested to see.
I've obviously last episode called for Martin to step in
as the halfback. I'd be really interested to see how
he goes at fall back.
Speaker 4 (24:15):
Yeah, give you just another playmaking option, wouldn't It could
be quite interesting to see how those three play together,
if that is the way they go.
Speaker 7 (24:26):
The Big League Pods on the Warriors Bad Wagons since
day one, The Big League Podcast for the biggest League fans.
Speaker 2 (24:36):
All right, Chris Reef quick fire predictions ahead of this round.
It's not nice not to have birds slagging me off
before we start these as usual saying that I'm rubbish
at the tips, but he's.
Speaker 3 (24:47):
Just as bad at tips top.
Speaker 2 (24:49):
Oh you hang on, yeah, didn't you have? I made
a call on the Weekend Collectives.
Speaker 4 (24:54):
Great history with going out all them and making productions.
I think I'm ozer in two on the Weekend Collective
for tipping Warriors games, and I think I'm oh in
one on Herald Now for tipping games.
Speaker 3 (25:06):
So yeah, this should be good.
Speaker 2 (25:08):
Well, that gives the listener a lot of confidence in
you and I as pundits here, But to be fair,
no matter how educated you are as a league pundit,
the NRL just completely flips the script every round. So
we're going to start off with the Sharks and the
Dolphins at Shark Park.
Speaker 3 (25:26):
I'm going Dolphins in that one. I like the Dolphins.
They score a lot of points.
Speaker 2 (25:30):
Get interesting game both teams coming off the by Sharks
at home though, and for me that tips it. In
FA Knights versus the Storm in Newcastle.
Speaker 3 (25:44):
Thing, I go with the Storm.
Speaker 6 (25:46):
Yeah, I can't.
Speaker 2 (25:47):
I can't believe you had to think about it.
Speaker 3 (25:49):
Sorry, Sorry, I was reading another message. So you're on
your phone always thinking who.
Speaker 2 (25:56):
Are you texting?
Speaker 3 (25:57):
Boss?
Speaker 2 (25:59):
He needs to just the boundaries.
Speaker 3 (26:02):
Dragons Roosters, Dragons, Roosters, Roosters.
Speaker 2 (26:06):
Yeah, coming off that lost to the type that would
hurt them, I am going to back the Roosters to
bounce back. Cowboys versus the Bulldogs.
Speaker 3 (26:14):
I think you go the Bulldogs. They plan very well
this season.
Speaker 2 (26:17):
And coming off a loss to the Broncos, you'd imagine
Camera Surroldo will put a rocket up their asses after that,
so I'll back the Bulldogs as well. Here's the big one,
Reef Warriors Tigers and why.
Speaker 3 (26:31):
I'm going with the Warriors.
Speaker 4 (26:32):
I have confidence that they will be able to recover
from the injuries. I think, like you said earlier, the
buyer came at a good time for them. They'll be refreshed, regathered,
and I don't think the Tigers will play as well
as they did last weekend.
Speaker 2 (26:45):
I agree. I don't think the Tigers will be able
to repeat the intensity of that performance. And I also
think being back at home, having that couple of weeks
to reset after the buy and probably the energy of
it being a doubleheader as well, will help the Warriors.
So I'll back them to win that one. Eels Panthers Els.
Speaker 3 (27:02):
As an Eels fan, I'm just blindly picking my team.
Speaker 2 (27:06):
The Panthers back on the rye they are, they have
top fourth read because at this point, if this form continues,
they're definitely in the eight.
Speaker 4 (27:15):
Yeah, I think they're definitely in the eight, but top
top four might be a little bit of a stretch
for them at this point. But if they're in the eight,
you'd back them in for another at least another shot
at the premiership.
Speaker 8 (27:27):
Right, Titans Broncos Broncos, they right, they have come right,
have a few games where they just don't look good.
Speaker 4 (27:37):
It's been a weird season for the Broncos, so I
struggle to pick them with confidence knowing that, but they
should get up against the Titans.
Speaker 2 (27:44):
I'm going to support the Broncos to beat the Titans
to clean up round. What is it nineteen nineteen? How
are we already in Round nineteen? Reeve?
Speaker 3 (27:52):
I don't know, man. The NRL just flyers by, it.
Speaker 2 (27:55):
Does it does? Thank you so much for your time,
you wisdom, the insight coming in for Michael Burgess. Really
