Speaker 1 (00:00):
Now here's a highlight from Coast to Coast AM on iHeartRadio.
Speaker 2 (00:05):
And welcome back to Coast to Coast. George nor with you.
William Henry with Us are investigative mythologist. His latest book
is called Ascension, and William, when I think of the
word ascension, I think of Jesus. But you've got it
tied into human endeavor. Tell me more.
Speaker 3 (00:20):
Yeah, I mean, thousands of years before the time of Jesus,
humans were on a path of transformation that enabled their ascension.
And this, in my view, is the ultimate human project.
It's not so much about going somewhere out there as
it is about transforming our life here. It's a focus
(00:42):
on becoming more whole, becoming more holy, even becoming more
angelic is the term I like to use.
Speaker 2 (00:49):
Why can't we all ascend? Some of us fall short?
Speaker 3 (00:54):
Well, we can. And this is one of the things
I talked about in the book is that there was
a flip where originally it was a thought that anyone
at any time can complete their earthly life and their
existence and attain their ascension, and then we had well,
it was actually biblical mandates that said only certain people
(01:17):
can ascend at a certain time, and you have to
abide by this new rule, which was effectively an implementation
of a new rule and a changing of the gods.
And so many people aren't aware of the humanity's history
with the concept of ascension. That's what I was trying
to bring forward, and to suggest that it's possible for
(01:37):
anyone at any time.
Speaker 2 (01:40):
You do believe in a god, don't you?
Speaker 3 (01:42):
Of course? Absolutely?
Speaker 2 (01:46):
How would you tie the Autonaki in with God? Are
they our gods? Well?
Speaker 3 (01:53):
Yeah, the on a Noaki, as has been said I
know before, are gods with a lower g.
Speaker 1 (01:58):
They are.
Speaker 3 (01:59):
They are technically agents of Anu, the Lord of the Unanaki.
They were members of Anu's divine counsel that left that
council and phased into physicality. And in no instance that
I'm aware of, did the Unanaki maintain that Anu was God,
(02:20):
the creator of the universe. They were always operating on
the premise that they themselves were lesser gods with a
lower case G.
Speaker 2 (02:30):
If you're a parent, William and your kid came up
to you and wanted to know about his future, how
would you describe it?
Speaker 3 (02:40):
That's such a great question. I would describe it as
a as a future of unlimited possibilities. I would be
raising my child on the premise that they could live
to be a couple hundred years old, that they could
fulfill the promise of all human potential, to understand who
(03:01):
we are, who created us, why we're here, and ultimately
to perhaps even make a choice to live in a
different planet or even another dimension altogether.
Speaker 2 (03:11):
Is ascension a good thing?
Speaker 3 (03:14):
I think it is because it's a question for wholeness
and holiness, and if you have a planet that's orientated
towards ascension, it's a very different planet than the one
that we live on.
Speaker 2 (03:28):
I've known you for twenty three years. Twenty three years.
I remember our early discussions and stuff like that as
I was trying to understand you, and you taught me
a lot. How did you get involved in all this?
Will you?
Speaker 1 (03:43):
Oh?
Speaker 3 (03:43):
My gosh, Well I started. I read a book called
Holy Blood, Holy Grail when I was going to a
small Southern Baptist college in Nashville. The premise of that
book was similar to the Da Vinciko Dan Brown's bestseller
in terms of challenging Christian belief about the crucifixion and
(04:05):
many of those ideas and what really interested me in
the book was not so much the controversy that it
brought forward about whether or not Jesus and Mary Magdalen
were married and had children and those questions. It was
a reference more to human transformation into angelic beings. Is
it possible for a human to become an angel? And
(04:27):
that just sparked something in me. I wanted to know
more about that, and that led into studying extraterrestrials, extraterrestrial
intervention in human affairs, Eric van Danigin's books, Zachariah Sitchen's books,
and so forth, and I just continued on with that
central question of how humans can become better than we are.
Speaker 2 (04:51):
You were one of the first people to warn us
about artificial intelligence back around twenty fifteen. How did you
perceive that?
Speaker 3 (05:00):
Well, yeah, back then, I actually had started around two
thousand and two. I wrote a book called The Illuminati,
which was about initial forecasts about transhumanism, and I featured
government reports US Department of Commerce reports that indicated that
(05:20):
this was a planned transformation of humanity. The largest corporations,
the biggest military contractors had been given what we today
would perceive as marching orders from the US government. To
begin to develop this technology, to introduce a new golden
age for humanity their terminology, and to make trillions of
(05:41):
dollars by merging humans with machines. And in those early
days and even to some extent still today, I was
practically violently opposed to that possibility, that idea of all
augmenting humans, of linking us all together, of installing cameras
(06:05):
in absolutely everything, and giving humans supervision enhanced capabilities through
consciousness and augmentation of our of our site. But at
the same time, the trade off is that we would
have supervision by AI, by effectively a new God. And
(06:26):
even today this is still the central argument. That you
have your Silicon Valley types that think that absolutely everything
that we do and say should be watched or monitored,
and if AI detects somebody saying something wrong or doing
something wrong, they should be instantly reported to the local authorities,
(06:48):
arrested and prosecuted. That is that is AI. It's it's
a military operation, has been from the very beginning. Most
aren't aware of it. They buy a they buy a
phone from Apple or some other consumer organization like that.
But really what the AI is is strictly a military operation.
(07:09):
For the weaponization of information.
Speaker 2 (07:12):
Do you see any benefits of AI at all? Oh?
Speaker 3 (07:15):
I do absolutely, And as the years have gone by,
have come more and more to of course accept that
it's here and recognizing the tremendous potential in so many
different areas. I mean from a day to day basis,
the access to information that we have, the ability for
medical diagnosis, that these things are tremendously positive. We can
(07:40):
give sight to the blind, we can help the lame walk,
we can do miraculous things that are even spoken of
in the Bible. But there is a trade off, and
that's what's always concerned me.
Speaker 2 (07:53):
There are some believe we are in end times right now?
How do you feel about that? Will you.
Speaker 3 (08:00):
Have no doubt that we are in an end time
and have been for the past couple of decades. And
it doesn't mean it's the end of the world. It
just simply means it's the end of this version of
humanity and the way we have lived for the past say,
five to ten thousand years. And that's kind of a
scary proposition for some. For others, it's tremendously hopeful. And
(08:25):
this was in part which has altered my thinking is
concerns AI and transhumanism, and that is is that this
new human is here. AI is here, transhumanism is here.
What are we going to do? Are we to this
new child has been born? Are we going to throw
it to the curb and not raise it properly? Or
(08:46):
are we going to try to embrace it, raise it
and perhaps even love it.
Speaker 2 (08:50):
It could go either way.
Speaker 3 (08:54):
There's no question it can go either way. And we
can barely comprehend that changes that are upon us now.
And I can't even imagine what the next generation will
actually be be facing, but I do know that they
will be much better equipped than my generation is to
be able to handle this and to understand it.
Speaker 2 (09:15):
What about biblical prophecy are we in that well?
Speaker 3 (09:21):
I mean, when you have people, and not to pick
on an individual, but you have like Avi Lobe is
out there talking about this probe or possible probe three
I at lists It's a comment in the opinion.
Speaker 1 (09:36):
Of many people.
Speaker 3 (09:37):
But then when Avi Lobe speaks about it, he says,
the Messiah is coming not from Brooklyn, as people assume
the Messiah will come from outer space, and then he
speaks about three AI and any I think kind of
intelligent person is going to think, are you saying the
Messiah is coming on three I at lists, is that
(09:58):
what you're suggesting? And Avi Lob say, oh no, no, no, no, no, no,
that's not what I'm saying at all. But the inference
is there, and I think a lot of people feel
that way. That there is a Messianic desire among many
groups on the planet right now, whether they're more evangelical
(10:18):
Christian types or if they're Jewish like Gobby Low. There's
this desire to have the arrival of a figure that
will lead us out of this wilderness that we're in
right now into a promised land. And that could be
a self fulfilling prophecy. It doesn't even have to be
(10:41):
out of the Bible. There could be many Messiahs or
christ Like figures that are going to emerge at this
time that will hopefully lead us to this better age.
Speaker 2 (10:51):
We'll take Call's next hour with investigative mythologist William Henry.
The lines are now open. Jump aboard and get ready
for next hour. My friends, William, are you bullish about
the future or are you concerned?
Speaker 1 (11:05):
I'm more and more on bullish.
Speaker 3 (11:07):
I think that we have decided our future. It will
be AI based. That is very clear, and with that
sense that we have decided that now comes the time
to realize that future, and that that doesn't mean that
(11:29):
it's all been predetermined. It's now a time for every
person who who cares about the human race or cares
about their children or grandchildren to get involved in the conversation,
because it's really the complacency that has allowed us to
get to the place where we're at right now, and
so now is the time for individuals to stand up,
(11:51):
to write that letter, to make that call, to voice
their opinion, and to express their hope and desire for
where we're going as a species.
Speaker 2 (12:01):
Paint a picture for us of the next five to
ten years.
Speaker 3 (12:07):
Well, to begin with, I mean, we're talking a lot
about technology here, but at the same time, there's never
been a moment in history where you have hundreds of
millions of people actively practicing meditation, yoga, what I would
term ascension practices, working on themselves, consciously healing old traumas,
(12:30):
releasing themselves from old challenges and issues, and that to
me sparks a tremendous amount of inspiration and hope for
where we're going because we're all in a collective consciousness here,
every thought, everything that we think about goes into a
thought sphere, if you will, and that runs parallel to
(12:53):
the Internet. I mean, we all know that when we
go online, we're monitored, were supervised, everything, Everything is recorded,
everything is recorded. That's that's kind of AIS function is
to make sure that everybody is supervised and monitored and
at the same time, on the spiritual side of it,
where people are working on transforming themselves in their consciousness,
(13:16):
as I said, through meditation, yoga, other practices, even psychedelics.
It's having the effect of transforming the human mind, the
collective human mind, and that to me is the real
bright spot for our future is it's each individual commits
to maybe self improvement, self transformation that enables the possibility
(13:41):
for all of us then to experience that as well.
Speaker 2 (13:45):
Is there a downside to any of this, William.
Speaker 3 (13:48):
There's a tremendous downside. I mean, if we just stay
asleep at the wheel, humans will be replaced that that
that is pretty much the thinking of many many futurists.
As the AI becomes embodied, and that is the next step,
this artificial intelligence that we've created will take on physical embodiment.
(14:13):
In the next few years, we will have perhaps a
billion Tesla Optimist robots walking around. We will have other
super artificially intelligent entities embodied in some form of physicality,
whether a robot or a biological being that has been
grown that has the intelligence and planted within it. We
(14:35):
will see these beings walking amongst us, and that can
be very scary.
Speaker 1 (14:41):
For some.
Speaker 2 (14:42):
Probably for a lot of us.
Speaker 3 (14:44):
Huh, well, yeah, because we were finding that that humanity
won't be able to compete in many, many ways. And
so what that's going to do is it's going to
drive us into finding new specffect of ourselves, new ways
of expressing ourselves as humans that don't have anything to
(15:06):
do with the way we've had to do it in
the past few generations.
Speaker 2 (15:10):
Where do we still get your books?
Speaker 1 (15:12):
Will you?
Speaker 3 (15:14):
My books are available at Amazon dot com. The latest
book is called Ascension, which is essentially a chronology of
beliefs and ascension, where what the ancients said about this possibility,
how they would do it, how ultimately the concept of
ascension was hijacked by various religions, and how we're returning
(15:35):
it into our vernacular today.
