Steve Baron, was planning to enjoy a very quiet early
retirement when two shocking close encounters with UFOs made that impossible.
Those events left Steve with no choice but to dedicate

Yeah, I was a squid, I was a Gator Navy.
I was with the CBS and the Seals. My group
beach Mesters, which nobody knows who they are.
Speaker 2 (00:49):
I was public information. I didn't see any action at
all other than stuff at the Pentagon and places like that.
My unit got called up the Deserts one month before,
one month after I retired.
Speaker 4 (01:05):
Well that sounds like what they did to me in
a way. I was getting I had six months left
on my enlistment. This is in nineteen seventy it's the
end of nineteen seventy four. And what did they send
me to? Is they send me to Jungle Law Survival
in Panama. Boy, was that a lot of fun?
Speaker 2 (01:28):
I bet my gosh.
Speaker 3 (01:30):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (01:31):
Seventeen hundred Marines and about five or six Navy people.
Speaker 3 (01:34):
That was it.
Speaker 2 (01:35):
How many years has it been now since we gave
up the Panama Canal?
Speaker 4 (01:39):
Oh, my gosh. That well, it's long after I was there.
Speaker 3 (01:44):
I know that. I see Trump's trying to get it back.
Speaker 2 (01:49):
He just might, he just might. Anyways, you had a
couple of shocking closing encounters yourself. What happened? One was
in Canada and the other was in Nevada?
Speaker 1 (01:59):
Wasn't that?
Speaker 4 (02:00):
Yes, I should start out with the one in Canada
because that was the first one and the most amazing.
Speaker 1 (02:08):
Sure.
Speaker 3 (02:10):
My wife and I, you know, we've been married over
forty years.
Speaker 4 (02:14):
We lived in northern California for a really long time,
and then you know, this company I worked for, they
got absorbed by Western Digital and that was a good
opportunity for us.
Speaker 3 (02:27):
So we moved to Utah.
Speaker 4 (02:28):
For eight years, and then we had a chance to
come here to Vegas, where I grew up, and we
jumped on it.
Speaker 3 (02:38):
But we got here.
Speaker 4 (02:41):
We bought this home, and the biggest selling point was
the view, but we bought that. We moved in on
the first of July in twenty eleven, and in October
of that same year, we took a cruise. We went
to New York City and go on a cruise ship

and went up the east coast of the United States
and then up into Canada to Newfoundland.
Speaker 3 (03:08):
We went to Halifax and.
Speaker 4 (03:11):
Saint John's but anyway, our last port was Halifax and
then we were going to head back to New York City.
Speaker 3 (03:19):
It was just a one week cruise. And I used
to smoke.
Speaker 4 (03:23):
I quit smoking in twenty seventeen, but I did then,
and this was in October. It was October thirteenth, twenty eleven.
It's funny how you remember those things. Yeah, anyway, we
had just eaten dinner. It's probably about ten o'clock at night,
and I decided to go out and have a cigarette
on my balcony. And so I'm out there just sitting there,
(03:48):
you know, watching the water go by.
Speaker 3 (03:50):
It was as dark as could be.
Speaker 4 (03:52):
Couldn't see any land or anything, just the you know,
just the water coming off the ship. And all of
a sudden, it was like it reminded me of being
in school as a kid when they turned that projector on,
you know, and it had the room all dark. Here
comes a for lack of a better way of describing it,
(04:15):
was a something the size of a semi truck with trailer. However,
it was like a elongated capsule, like a tic tac,
but much plumper.
Speaker 3 (04:30):
And I couldn't even blink it.
Speaker 4 (04:32):
You know, we were going south, it was going north,
and instantly I knew I had the amazing confirmation of
UFOs being real because it had to be at eye
level and it wasn't more than one hundred and fifty
to two hundred feet away from where I was sitting.
Speaker 2 (04:52):
Wow, any noise coming from it, Steve.
Speaker 4 (04:55):
That was what really got to me, George, I've always
heard that, but when you see something that large coming
by you and it's very close and you don't hear anything,
it just it just.
Speaker 3 (05:10):
Blew me away.
Speaker 4 (05:11):
But anyway, the whole event probably didn't last any more
than ten or twelve seconds, because I felt like, after
thinking about all these years, is that I think it
was rubbernecking. It wanted to see the cruise ship, and
it just flew by us and halfway to the back
(05:35):
of the ship, you know, all of a sudden, it
didn't angle down, but it just went down like it
was going to go into the water, but it didn't,
and it went around the back of the ship.
Speaker 3 (05:45):
And that's the last time I ever saw it.
Speaker 4 (05:48):
But to see something like that for your first UFO
sighting was just astonishing.
Speaker 2 (05:56):
Were there many witnesses with you, Steve, No, of course, you.
Speaker 4 (06:00):
Know, it's it was like ten at night. It's really
cold out there. I mean October in Canada isn't probably
very warm.
Speaker 3 (06:10):
But yeah, it's you know, cigarette.
Speaker 4 (06:14):
Smokers probably see more upos than anybody. They go outside
and smoke no matter what is going on. But anyway,
I was so excited and I told my wife and
actually I stayed out there about twenty minutes longer, hoping
that it would come back.
Speaker 3 (06:31):
And it didn't.
Speaker 4 (06:33):
But I went in and told my wife and she said,
don't even tell anybody, because if you do, you know,
they're going to think you're insane. And that didn't bother
me at all. I was going to report it to
the ship that she talked me into just holding off,
calming down a little bit, and so you know what
(06:56):
the one thing that caused was it caused me to
create a little Facebook group. You know, I think I
called a UFOs in the USA. Of course it was
Candida that I saw it, but that's how it kind
of got started. But I didn't really do much for
(07:16):
two and a half years. And when you know, here
we go again. I'm going out on my patio here
in Vegas to have a cigarette. And this is April
April sixteenth, twenty.
Speaker 2 (07:30):
Fourteen, nighttime. Pardon me, nighttime.
Speaker 4 (07:34):
Oh yeah, it's about eight thirty at night. I even
remember I was watching American Idol at the time. But
I went out and I'm just sitting there and I
wasn't staring straight out at towards the strip or anything.
I was just kind of sitting there, and in the
corner of my eye, George, I see this crimson color
that was just so unusual.
Speaker 3 (07:56):
And I immediately looked up.
Speaker 4 (07:58):
And now this time, this thing's about six to eight
hundred feet up and just a little way from my house,
flying to the north of Las Vegas. And this time
I immediately remembered that one in Canada, and I reached in
my pocket without taking my eyes off of this thing
(08:18):
and grabbed for my phone because I know I have
my phone came and so my adrenaline was running pretty good.
And then it really started running because this thing stopped
in midflight. It started coming back, and I just went
through my head is that I thought it saw me
(08:39):
and it was coming back, and I didn't know what
it was going to do when it came back. But
then it stopped again and went ahead and just kept
going forward. And by the time I started filming it,
it was about.
Speaker 3 (08:53):
Fourteen miles away.
Speaker 4 (08:54):
And the reason I know that was it took me
several days to figure out how to even post a
video of it online.
Speaker 2 (09:05):
Did it take a while to sink in? The register.
Speaker 3 (09:10):
Sink in?
Speaker 4 (09:10):
But there was something dread. There's kind of a dread
factor about it for some reason, because once I finally
figured out how to do a video and putting it
on YouTube, it wasn't another day. And I hear from
these two brothers. The oldest was eighteen and the young
there was a younger brother, and they had been watching
(09:32):
for anybody else who would have seen this thing. And
I knew they saw it because one of the first
things the oldest brother told me, said it creeped me out.
I just I've never had one do that again, and
never creep me out again. I love seeing him, you know.
(09:53):
But anyway, it started, it started moving around like a
like a hummingbird. I think it was over as close
to Nellis and I think it was taunting them, And
so I filmed.
Speaker 3 (10:10):
It for about five minutes. It was a terrible job of.
Speaker 4 (10:13):
Filming because not only did I have my adrenaline run,
but then moved. It was scary, man, It was kind
of scary thinking it saw me, it was gonna come
back and get me or whatever, you know. And so
you know, that was the one that just put me
over the top. It's another close upsiding. It was beautiful.
(10:37):
It was a saucer because the boys saw that too,
But the back of it is what I saw, and
it had a vertical bank of about twenty of these
burgundy color or crimson red.
Speaker 3 (10:53):
Tubes on it.
Speaker 4 (10:55):
So you know, that is where I really decided to
go for it, because you want to talk about it,
You want to talk to people about it, you know,
and not sound crazy.
Speaker 2 (11:07):
Did it ever cross your mind that it might be hours?
Speaker 4 (11:11):
Oh yeah, yeah, all the time, all the time I do.
But the thing is is, if it's ours, you know,
look at that technology. I mean, where did that come.
Speaker 2 (11:21):
From, you know, and why don't we use it?
Speaker 3 (11:24):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (11:25):
So anyway, that was the one that put me over
the top, and at that very moment, I decided I'm
going to start documenting them because I have this perfect
storm of circumstances that happened to me, George. When we
moved to Las Vegas, I found my own home online.
We're here in Summerline by the Red Rock Resort.

Reason.
Speaker 4 (11:49):
I could have got a house with a three car garage,
a big swimming pool, everything, and extra bedroom for the
same price I paid for this one.
Speaker 3 (11:58):
But I wanted this one.
Speaker 4 (12:00):
One because it had the view of the entire valley.
I could see all the way from the highway coming
in from LA and the m resort all the way
over to Centennial, which is basically on your way out
of town going north. But I'd never imagined that I
(12:22):
would be seeing you and pose here, you know, excuse me.
Speaker 3 (12:28):
So the first three.
Speaker 4 (12:29):
Years I lived here, I had that one event in Canada,
and then I had this event. Well, I got started
with my digital camera and I did get some digital.
Speaker 3 (12:40):
UFO videos that were pretty cool.
Speaker 4 (12:44):
And it's I started getting you know, a few subscribers,
not much and not even more than five hundred even
after quite a while.
Speaker 3 (12:54):
But one of them.
Speaker 4 (12:57):
Was a guy from North Carolina. Unfortunately he has since
passed away, but his name was Tony Ivy, and boy,
what a generous guy. He wanted to donate a night.
Speaker 3 (13:10):
Vision monocular to me.
Speaker 4 (13:12):
Wow, And when you look at my channel, you'll see
I don't have Patreon accounts, I don't sell things, I
don't make coffee mugs. To me, this is more of
a it's a public service, and it's a way without
sensationalizing anything, is just to say, listen, all I'm showing

you here is the technology that's going on here.

So you make up your own mind what you think
this is.

And the thing is is when what happened with Tony
is I kept saying no, and he finally he just would.
Speaker 3 (13:49):
Not take a note for an answer, and he he says,
I have six night.
Speaker 4 (13:54):
Vision devices, two of them are identical. Let me send
you one of them. And so I caved in. And boy,
I'll tell you what, that's the biggest decision I ever
made in my life. Really, right there because he sent
me that thing. And are you familiar with Vegas very well, George.
Speaker 2 (14:14):
Yes i am. And also, did you know a fellow
by the name of Ed Grimsley now here?
Speaker 3 (14:21):
That's a familiar name.
Speaker 2 (14:23):
He introduced me to night vision goggles.
Speaker 4 (14:28):
Well, i'll tell you what what happened was the same
day I got it, I couldn't wait to try it
out because I had never looked through.
Speaker 3 (14:37):
A night vision device before.
Speaker 4 (14:40):
And there's one place in Las Vegas that, even though
I was already looking for UFOs, I wouldn't look there
because there was never anything. There was over the Las
Vegas Mountains and the Sheep Range, and there are the
two mountain ranges.
Speaker 3 (15:00):
North of the city. Like you're on your way out
to go to.
Speaker 2 (15:03):
Creature for Space, And how close were you to Area
fifty one.
Speaker 3 (15:07):
Right now where I'm sitting.
Speaker 4 (15:09):
If I go seventy miles in a straight line, I'll
be sitting right in the middle of Area fifty one
on the runway.
Speaker 2 (15:15):
Ah, seventy miles okay.
Speaker 3 (15:17):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (15:18):
And so anyway, the first time I ever used that device,
I started seeing formations of these white orbs doing I swear,
And I'm not the only one that says is it
seemed like they were all just having fun.
Speaker 3 (15:38):
And what they were doing is they were creating.
Speaker 4 (15:42):
Patterns like star patterns to emit metric shapes, and then
doing things that just blew me away.
Speaker 1 (15:53):
You know.
Speaker 3 (15:53):
It's like locking in now, this is twenty fifteen, locking.
Speaker 4 (15:57):
In on a shape and then going into a tumble
or a roll, you know, and next thing you know,
I'm just out there every night. I'm out there every night,
just as long as I could stand it in the cold.

Or the heat.
Speaker 2 (16:13):
Would you say you were obsessed at this point, I would.
Speaker 4 (16:16):
Say I was too obsessed, because you know, I was
getting all this footage.
Speaker 3 (16:22):
But at the same time, too.
Speaker 4 (16:23):
As I was avoiding meals, I wasn't getting a whole
lot of sleep. It was just so interesting. I could
not not go out, you know. So about three years
into it, about by twenty seventeen, twenty eighteen, I decided
that that just wasn't the right way to do things.
(16:47):
And so since then and the way more now is
I go out, and I have I still have three
new generation, the next generation night Visions. I don't use
all three at once, but I do use two of
them a lot of times at the same time. Because
(17:07):
I can get evidence on two different cameras.
Speaker 2 (17:09):
You can clearly see these objects all over the place
with night vision goggles.
Speaker 4 (17:14):
Oh it's it's it's and it's not just it's not satellites,
it's not anything. Even now, George, even within a month ago,
these same things are still here. They're still here, and
they're still moving between the Mohave Desert on the north.
Speaker 3 (17:33):
Side of that mountain range, which it also has Area
fifty one.
Speaker 4 (17:39):
They are coming, I think, to Nellis Air Force Face
and they come and go from there.
Speaker 2 (17:45):
And you think they're coming welcomed.
Speaker 4 (17:48):
Yes, yes, I think they are part of our military.
And that's why that's why I think I struggle so
mightily to get people to take me seriously, because you know,
you see the Navy they're off their off the coast
of San Diego, and they seem like they're really confused
about having these gimbals and tic TACs and all these
(18:09):
other things out there, whereas the Air Force has these
things with them. And I'll tell you what, I see
both types of craft in the air at the same time.
Just about a month ago. It happened twice in the
same night and then it happened right before that. You
see them flying in groups of four. It's like a
(18:31):
string of pearls, but it's elongated. They're not perfectly right
next to each other. What they started doing now? And
I think they know, I know they know I filmed them.
They're flying along, they're each spaced out, and one of
them all of a sudden brightens up. It's still maintaining
(18:51):
the speed inside that line and moving. However, it decides
to start doing clockwise and counterclockwise circles, flat circles, and
I have footage of that. Just I mean, it's it's.

You cannot explain that. I mean, just think about it.
Speaker 4 (19:07):
Four white orbs moving in a line, probably not even
a mile between each one. It's probably more like a
half mile.

And here's one of them showing off. It's like, look
at me, Look what I can do.

you know, that was the one that just put me
over the top. It's another close upsiding. It was beautiful.
(10:37):
It was a saucer because the boys saw that too,
But the back of it is what I saw, and
it had a vertical bank of about twenty of these
burgundy color or crimson red.
Speaker 3 (10:53):
Tubes on it.
Speaker 4 (10:55):
So you know, that is where I really decided to
go for it, because you want to talk about it,
You want to talk to people about it, you know,
and not sound crazy.
Speaker 2 (11:07):
Did it ever cross your mind that it might be hours?
Speaker 4 (11:11):
Oh yeah, yeah, all the time, all the time I do.
But the thing is is, if it's ours, you know,
look at that technology. I mean, where did that come.
Speaker 2 (11:21):
From, you know, and why don't we use it?
Speaker 3 (11:24):
Yeah.

So anyway, that was the one that put me over
the top, and at that very moment, I decided I'm
going to start documenting them because I have this perfect
storm of circumstances that happened to me, George. When we
moved to Las Vegas, I found my own home online.
We're here in Summerline by the Red Rock Resort.
Speaker 3 (11:49):
Reason.
Speaker 4 (11:49):
I could have got a house with a three car garage,
a big swimming pool, everything, and extra bedroom for the
same price I paid for this one.
Speaker 3 (11:58):
But I wanted this one.
Speaker 4 (12:00):
One because it had the view of the entire valley.
I could see all the way from the highway coming
in from LA and the m resort all the way
over to Centennial, which is basically on your way out
of town going north. But I'd never imagined that I
(12:22):
would be seeing you and pose here, you know, excuse me.
Speaker 3 (12:28):
So the first three.
Speaker 4 (12:29):
Years I lived here, I had that one event in Canada,
and then I had this event. Well, I got started
with my digital camera and I did get some digital.
Speaker 3 (12:40):
UFO videos that were pretty cool.
Speaker 4 (12:44):
And it's I started getting you know, a few subscribers,
not much and not even more than five hundred even
after quite a while.
Speaker 3 (12:54):
But one of them.
Speaker 4 (12:57):
Was a guy from North Carolina. Unfortunately he has since
passed away, but his name was Tony Ivy, and boy,
what a generous guy. He wanted to donate a night.
Speaker 3 (13:10):
Vision monocular to me.
Speaker 4 (13:12):
Wow, And when you look at my channel, you'll see
I don't have Patreon accounts, I don't sell things, I
don't make coffee mugs. To me, this is more of
a it's a public service, and it's a way without
sensationalizing anything, is just to say, listen, all I'm showing
(13:33):
you here is the technology that's going on here.
Speaker 3 (13:36):
So you make up your own mind what you think
this is.
Speaker 4 (13:42):
And the thing is is when what happened with Tony
is I kept saying no, and he finally he just would.
Speaker 3 (13:49):
Not take a note for an answer, and he he says,
I have six night.
Speaker 4 (13:54):
Vision devices, two of them are identical. Let me send
you one of them. And so I caved in. And boy,
I'll tell you what, that's the biggest decision I ever
made in my life. Really, right there because he sent
me that thing. And are you familiar with Vegas very well, George.
Speaker 2 (14:14):
Yes i am. And also, did you know a fellow
by the name of Ed Grimsley now here?
Speaker 3 (14:21):
That's a familiar name.
Speaker 2 (14:23):
He introduced me to night vision goggles.
Speaker 4 (14:28):
Well, i'll tell you what what happened was the same
day I got it, I couldn't wait to try it
out because I had never looked through.
Speaker 3 (14:37):
A night vision device before.
Speaker 4 (14:40):
And there's one place in Las Vegas that, even though
I was already looking for UFOs, I wouldn't look there
because there was never anything. There was over the Las
Vegas Mountains and the Sheep Range, and there are the
two mountain ranges.
Speaker 3 (15:00):
North of the city. Like you're on your way out
to go to.
Speaker 2 (15:03):
Creature for Space, And how close were you to Area
fifty one.
Speaker 3 (15:07):
Right now where I'm sitting.
Speaker 4 (15:09):
If I go seventy miles in a straight line, I'll
be sitting right in the middle of Area fifty one
on the runway.
Speaker 2 (15:15):
Ah, seventy miles okay.
Speaker 3 (15:17):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (15:18):
And so anyway, the first time I ever used that device,
I started seeing formations of these white orbs doing I swear,
And I'm not the only one that says is it
seemed like they were all just having fun.
Speaker 3 (15:38):
And what they were doing is they were creating.
Speaker 4 (15:42):
Patterns like star patterns to emit metric shapes, and then
doing things that just blew me away.
Speaker 1 (15:53):
You know.
Speaker 3 (15:53):
It's like locking in now, this is twenty fifteen, locking.
Speaker 4 (15:57):
In on a shape and then going into a tumble
or a roll, you know, and next thing you know,
I'm just out there every night. I'm out there every night,
just as long as I could stand it in the cold.
Speaker 3 (16:12):
Or the heat.
Speaker 2 (16:13):
Would you say you were obsessed at this point, I would.
Speaker 4 (16:16):
Say I was too obsessed, because you know, I was
getting all this footage.
Speaker 3 (16:22):
But at the same time, too.
Speaker 4 (16:23):
As I was avoiding meals, I wasn't getting a whole
lot of sleep. It was just so interesting. I could
not not go out, you know. So about three years
into it, about by twenty seventeen, twenty eighteen, I decided
that that just wasn't the right way to do things.
(16:47):
And so since then and the way more now is
I go out, and I have I still have three
new generation, the next generation night Visions. I don't use
all three at once, but I do use two of
them a lot of times at the same time. Because
(17:07):
I can get evidence on two different cameras.
Speaker 2 (17:09):
You can clearly see these objects all over the place
with night vision goggles.
Speaker 4 (17:14):
Oh it's it's it's and it's not just it's not satellites,
it's not anything. Even now, George, even within a month ago,
these same things are still here. They're still here, and
they're still moving between the Mohave Desert on the north.
Speaker 3 (17:33):
Side of that mountain range, which it also has Area
fifty one.
Speaker 4 (17:39):
They are coming, I think, to Nellis Air Force Face
and they come and go from there.
Speaker 2 (17:45):
And you think they're coming welcomed.
Speaker 4 (17:48):
Yes, yes, I think they are part of our military.
And that's why that's why I think I struggle so
mightily to get people to take me seriously, because you know,
you see the Navy they're off their off the coast
of San Diego, and they seem like they're really confused
about having these gimbals and tic TACs and all these
(18:09):
other things out there, whereas the Air Force has these
things with them. And I'll tell you what, I see
both types of craft in the air at the same time.
Just about a month ago. It happened twice in the
same night and then it happened right before that. You
see them flying in groups of four. It's like a
(18:31):
string of pearls, but it's elongated. They're not perfectly right
next to each other. What they started doing now? And
I think they know, I know they know I filmed them.
They're flying along, they're each spaced out, and one of
them all of a sudden brightens up. It's still maintaining
(18:51):
the speed inside that line and moving. However, it decides
to start doing clockwise and counterclockwise circles, flat circles, and
I have footage of that. Just I mean, it's it's.
Speaker 3 (19:04):
You cannot explain that. I mean, just think about it.
Speaker 4 (19:07):
Four white orbs moving in a line, probably not even
a mile between each one. It's probably more like a
half mile.
Speaker 3 (19:17):
And here's one of them showing off. It's like, look
at me, Look what I can do.
