The Cheetah Print Chats

The Cheetah Print Chats

I started this podcast to share life lessons with my nieces from my life experiences, successes, and mistakes. Life lessons that will never go out of style, much like…in my opinion anyway…CHEETAH PRINT! I decided to share this with all of you as well in hopes I can help as many women as possible, at any age. But I also want this to be a safe place for younger women to find advice when they don’t feel comfortable talking to an adult in their own life about something. The Cheetah Print Chats podcast will cover a wide array of topics, including setting boundaries, travel, fitness, body image, self care, money tips, grief, and more. Many of the episodes will be solo. I will be sharing a story from my life, and pointing out what I hope you can learn from it, as well as any tips you can apply to your life. But I will also be interviewing others from time to time when we want to dive deeper into a topic, or, if there is a requested topic in which I don’t have experience. I’ve gone through a lot in my life…divorce, bankruptcy, massive career changes, cross-continent and cross-country moves, hard break-ups, eating disorders, feeling completely left out…but I’ve learned something from all of it, and that is what I want to share with you! My hope is that as you listen each week, you can learn something from my experiences to apply in your own life. And hopefully avoid some of my mistakes! I can’t wait to chat with you! In this episode I talk about the gray area of life, the AND vs the but…the AND vs either or…the gray area vs black or white. The saying “it can be both”.

This area is tough for a lot of people because they think it has to be one extreme or another to work or to be true. But more often than not, success lies in the gray area, the AND.

Success in what you may be asking? Well, listen in, and I'll share some examples...

In this episode, I share just a few things you can do for your brain. Including nutrition, physica...

I want to bring to your awareness 5 things that could be blocking you from losing fat. Not to make you feel bad or judge, but so you can do something about it and stop spinning your wheels.

- lack of belief

- changing too much at once either when you start or hit a plateau

- doing what "worked" before

- all or nothing mindset

- making excuses (do you even realize you're doing this?)

Listen to this episode to hear why, as well as some thought provoking insights from women and what they'd tell their younger selves.

I had been curious about mediums and channeling for awhile. When the chance came to see one for free, I took it. Unsure of what I was getting myself into and expecting nothing, I came out a different person.

Whether it's true or not, I'll know when I get to Heaven...but this was pretty wild and I wanted to share my story with you.

I also did a quick plug on skincare! A totally separate thing. But I ment...

This is a similar topic to a few recent episodes…and short...but I felt the need to go just a tad bit further into the topic, because it’s just so important. You don’t need to stay stuck. You ARE ready. My hope and prayer for you is that you don’t let fear stop you from living the life of your dreams. Be that your own fears about not being enough, or fears of what others will think.

You deserve to go for it, whatever ...

Does going to holiday get togethers stress you out because you feel out of control around the food?

Have you ever severely overate at a holiday get together?

Or severely under ate before and/or after? Or overexercised before and/or after?

I used to do all of it. For years. It's been awhile since I did it last, but every holiday where I just go and have a good time and eat some food and move on with no stress...
