Speaker 1 (00:00):
Scrubbing In with Beca Tilly and Tanya rad and iHeartRadio
and two time People's Choice Award winning podcast.

Speaker 2 (00:10):
Hello everybody, we are scrubbing in.

Speaker 1 (00:15):
I don't know if you heard while you were gone,
but Robbie made another jingle. Oh it's a scrubbing in
life with my scrubbing and wife.

Speaker 3 (00:23):
Wow, it's beautiful.

Speaker 1 (00:25):
Yeah you like it?

Speaker 3 (00:26):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (00:27):
Do you? So?

Speaker 3 (00:28):
You say that?

Speaker 1 (00:29):
I would say it to you.

Speaker 2 (00:31):
So you say hello everybody, and I say we are
scrubbing in and you say.

Speaker 1 (00:36):
It's that scrubbing in life with my scrubbing in wife.

Speaker 2 (00:39):
Wow?

Speaker 1 (00:39):
Do you like it?

Speaker 3 (00:41):
Sure? I'm up for anything that you're excited about.

Speaker 1 (00:44):
I'm excited about it.

Speaker 3 (00:46):
Your joy is my joy.

Speaker 1 (00:47):
Oh, thank you so much.

Speaker 2 (00:49):
I do appreciate Robbie filling in while Bolsta was gone.
He's such a natural.

Speaker 3 (00:56):
He really is. Yeah, he's very good.

Speaker 2 (00:58):
It's really because Yeah, like I think that what we
do in our conversation, like it's very conversational. We've been
doing this for so long, like you're in radio, I've
been trudge along doing this.

Speaker 3 (01:12):
With so much love and joy about them. But I'm
just I'm saying, like.

Speaker 2 (01:17):
We're very familiar with this. This every the vibe of it, right,
And I think we assume that people who are in
this were like just talk, be normal. But when you
put a microphone in someone's face, it can either be
very intimidating or you thrive at it.

Speaker 3 (01:33):
And I think Robbie thrives.

Speaker 1 (01:35):
I appreciate you saying that because it's so funny. I
always I felt like this sense of like protectiveness in
a weird way because I'm like, I want him to
do well. I want you know what I mean like,
and I do think like he does know there's a microphone.
You know, He's not like one hundred percent. I feel
like himself natural because like there's this, but I'd say
he's like ninety five percent there. Yeah, And then like

(01:56):
you talk, and then I'm like is it entertaining to people?

Speaker 2 (01:59):
You know?

Speaker 1 (01:59):
Because like I spent my whole life with him, so
I'm like, this is just like a day, yeah, my husband.
But then I got home and I was like, I
hope people like it.

Speaker 3 (02:07):
I feel like people loved it.

Speaker 1 (02:09):
Yeah, y I forgot nice, nice messages, so that was nice.

Speaker 3 (02:12):
I feel like he does a great job.

Speaker 2 (02:14):
I'm so the winning the Pooh thing is crazy because
I was prompted.

Speaker 1 (02:19):
You told me it was really Mark's fault.

Speaker 2 (02:22):
You you told everyone, So technically the point goes back,
the blame goes back to you.

Speaker 1 (02:27):
But I can tell you guys stuff and it doesn't
have to be on the podcast, like yeah, but it
was telling Marnie telling Mark is the issue. I've learned
that in my years, if you tell.

Speaker 3 (02:38):
Mark something that's of entertainment, yeah, he will bring it up. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (02:42):
I was just its like, I just I got the blame.

Speaker 1 (02:46):
Robbie said, I broke his heart, and I'm like, hold on,
you know what's so funny. Mark's wife, Amy and Robbie
were like going back and forth in the Facebook group
about who to blame, and she was like, go back
to this podcast. At this time, it was oh no,
it was her.

Speaker 3 (03:01):
I saw that conversation. Wow, we should get her on.
I need the skinny on Mark. We gets away with
a lot.

Speaker 2 (03:13):
We don't know anything that we just have his take
on everything.

Speaker 3 (03:17):
We need to get AMers in here.

Speaker 1 (03:19):
Do we totally do? Yeah?

Speaker 3 (03:24):
So thanks Robbie for holding the fort down.

Speaker 1 (03:27):
Thanks.

Speaker 3 (03:27):
I'm happy for you to take over whenever whenever I'm
out And about which.

Speaker 1 (03:32):
I hope is not a lot, which we hope is
not off. I don't like doing the podcast without you.
Even with Robbie. I love doing it with him, like
I do, I really do, like I love doing it
with him, and I'm so grateful. But like, to me,
it's I don't know, like this is something that I
enjoy doing with you.

Speaker 3 (03:49):
Well, yeah, I mean it's our podcast.

Speaker 2 (03:51):
That would be it would be a little sad if
you felt the same level of comfort enjoy doing it
with anyone else.

Speaker 1 (03:58):
Yeah, could you imagine I was like, yeah, take more
vacation problem.

Speaker 2 (04:03):
I think it msould be less affected by that than
you would if I did that.

Speaker 1 (04:06):
Oh I'd be I'd be spiraling.

Speaker 3 (04:11):
But yeah, I'm back.

Speaker 2 (04:13):
I got back yesterday and so I'm on Japan's eighteen
hours ahead.

Speaker 3 (04:18):
It's in the future.

Speaker 1 (04:19):
So do you like beat the jet lag because it's
so many hours.

Speaker 2 (04:23):
You would think, you know, because it's right there of
twenty four, but the six hours that my friend does.

Speaker 3 (04:29):
Certainly make a difference. Yeah, So it's I.

Speaker 2 (04:33):
Don't know late where I'm more. My time mentally is
a middle of the night for me.

Speaker 4 (04:39):
But you're here three fifteen am.

Speaker 3 (04:42):
That's I kind of feel that a little bit. Yeah,
I feel a little.

Speaker 2 (04:45):
Three fifteen ish, got bright lights in my face right now,
studio lighting.

Speaker 1 (04:51):
Yeah, A little something happened over the weekend. Well actually
not over the weekend, you know, like we live our
lives ago and this little tiny thing, yeah happened.

Speaker 2 (05:03):
I made. I had some plans going into this trip,
and I kept it pretty low key.

Speaker 1 (05:11):
Beyond like I am shook at how well you lie
or like keep things to yourself. Yeah, like it's kind
of scary.

Speaker 2 (05:20):
Okay, So what happened was I've told you that I
wasn't gonna tell anyone until I did it.

Speaker 1 (05:29):
I was, when I say, I was like completely shocked,
Like I couldn't have been more shocked, because I also
thought that you would tell me when you got the ring,
because you were you were like asking me how to
like how do I get her to try things on?
So I was like in it with you, like I
thought I was in it with you.

Speaker 2 (05:47):
Yeah. I did do a good job at like keeping
you at least at bay with questions.

Speaker 3 (05:52):
You know, though, we are gonna I want to.

Speaker 2 (05:55):
Talk about the whole thing because there's a lot to
talk about because it was it was a big thing.

Speaker 1 (06:00):
And it was a mastermind, Like this was Taylor Swift level.

Speaker 3 (06:04):
Yeah, I learned. I learned from the best.

Speaker 1 (06:06):
Yeah, but what did you?

Speaker 3 (06:08):
I feel like, what were you doing? We're going to
get to that, so.

Speaker 1 (06:11):
Don't worry, but what it will get there. I feel
like you.

Speaker 2 (06:13):
Did a lot while I was gone. I feel like
a lot over the weekend.

Speaker 1 (06:17):
You were at Oh my god.

Speaker 3 (06:18):
You are at a party of Selena gummn At.

Speaker 1 (06:22):
First of all, I did so much this weekend, Like
I went to Disneyland. I like I had one of
our kids winter recitals. I had two Honka parties in
a day. Your girl is.

Speaker 3 (06:36):
Tired, Yeah that makes sense.

Speaker 1 (06:39):
She's tired. Yeah, but you know what, she's alive and thriving.

Speaker 2 (06:42):
Wow.

Speaker 3 (06:43):
Yeah, alive and thriving.

Speaker 1 (06:45):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (06:46):
I still have been decorated for Christmas.

Speaker 1 (06:49):
Well, I hate to break it to you, but like, well.

Speaker 3 (06:51):
I know that I left on the second, and.

Speaker 1 (06:54):
Like we had the week before, but we did.

Speaker 3 (06:58):
Thanksgiving twice that weekend.

Speaker 2 (07:00):
Like I that was kind of a crazy weekend for
us because we had to postpone Thanksgiving and then and
then I didn't have my I was trying to decide
if we wanted to do a real tree or.

Speaker 3 (07:09):
Fake tree, so I ordered our fake tree. So we
have a fake tree.

Speaker 1 (07:12):
Up, but it has the lights.

Speaker 3 (07:15):
Okay, ornaments today.

Speaker 2 (07:18):
Okay, Wow, I just decided because we got a fake
tree that I'm going to decorate today or tomorrow, whatever
I have energy for, and then we'll just leave it
up as long as we want.

Speaker 3 (07:27):
Yeah, because I don't have to rush to take it
down because it's not dying. Ah.

Speaker 1 (07:31):
Yes, Well, you see, there gets to be a point
in like January where like I think it hits a
like if you have the tree up at a certain
point in January, Yeah, it starts to feel weird. February
one year, I left it up like it's like January
twenty something, and I was like, it's starting.

Speaker 3 (07:49):
Because you start yours like Halloween.

Speaker 1 (07:53):
I like to have it in there. Yeah, I like
to have it.

Speaker 2 (07:55):
I understand by January you're probably ready to clear the
clear it out. Yeah, so I'm going to do that today.
But how was Disneyland during these times?

Speaker 1 (08:06):
Okay, so it was crowded, but I want to say
it wasn't like so bad. We didn't wait more than
forty five minutes wow, per ride, which I know sounds
like a long time, but like once you're in it,
it's really not that bad, Okay.

Speaker 2 (08:21):
And I like the line, Yeah, I was gonna that
was so Tanya.

Speaker 1 (08:27):
I knew it was gonna be a hot take. But like,
well were the responses somebody Like a couple of people
agreed with me, and then a couple of people were like,
are you crying? Okay, but I hear. I feel like
as our kids are getting older, and like we have

(08:49):
a teenager who's very into his phone. He left his
phone in the car because he was just not because
he didn't want it, but because he was like I
just want to worry about it on the rides and
don't want to like you know, like they wear these
baggy pants, you know, you don't want anything falling out. Yeah,
And so Robbie's like, just leave it in the cards safer,
it's better, and we're like okay, yeah. And so it's
like you have this, you have these forty five minutes
of just talking and bonding and I know it sounds

(09:13):
so silly, but like you don't get that so much.
You know, like when we're all at home, we're kind
of doing our own things, and yeah, we have like
our meals together and stuff, But I don't know. There
was something about all just like being there, being present,
super present, that was really special.

Speaker 3 (09:30):
I think that makes sense though.

Speaker 2 (09:32):
I think it's I think it's beautiful that you recognized
that moment and that the gift of like being present.

Speaker 1 (09:40):
I didn't realize it until we got home, Like I
was like, wow, Like that was a lot of quality time,
Like we had a full day of quality time with them,
and it was like really nice.

Speaker 2 (09:50):
He just writes in his journal, I got to have
so much quality time talking with Tanya in line today.

Speaker 3 (09:57):
It was the best. Yeah, exactly, Yeah, yeah, that's really fun.
I was just talking.

Speaker 2 (10:03):
I was just seeing this thing about how this guy
his mom was on a plane and she was like,
this person was not on their phone the whole time
on the plane, and I just thought that was the
weirdest thing. And he goes, isn't it weird that that
is perceived as weird, like someone not being on their
phone as opposed to someone being present and like striking

(10:23):
up a conversation with the next person. And she was like, well,
if you're not looking at your phone, people might try
to start a conversation with you, which is like, which
is like the worst case scenario.

Speaker 4 (10:35):
I went to a restaurant with Allison once in my
phone was dead, and she went up and went to
the bathroom. She wasn't gone very long, but I was
just like kind of like sitting around, just like looking around,
and I was like, I look crazy, and I'm like,
this is how every day yea many many years, you know,
Like I just like read the back of the ketchup bottles,
I know, I think about.

Speaker 1 (10:52):
So we're watching Stranger Things right now, and like it's
in the eighties, and I'm like, wow, I could not
imagine like they had to go to a payphone to
call nine to one one. I mean, we did live
in those times, but I was so young, Like I
wouldn't even have a phone even at that age if
they existed, you know what I mean.

Speaker 2 (11:11):
Yeah, I know, but for I think I was sixteen
when I got a phone, so I had sixteen years
of pure childhood childhood. And also even when I had
a phone, I had to be aware of my minutes
and it wasn't like I was scrolling.

Speaker 3 (11:24):
I just would.

Speaker 1 (11:24):
Right right, right right, So it.

Speaker 2 (11:27):
Is crazy I do the same thing if I'm alone
I'm like, gosh, do I look so weird?

Speaker 1 (11:34):
You know it's called raw dogging? Yeah, okay, are we
allowed to say that on the podcast?

Speaker 3 (11:38):
We've said a lot worse.

Speaker 1 (11:39):
I said raw dogging before. Yeah, okay, but this is
like an innocent one.

Speaker 2 (11:44):
Well yeah, I think normally when we're talking about it,
we're not using it and the way it really is
supposed to be us. We always use that as a version.
We are a PG podcast. But yeah, So I went
to Japan because I wanted to propose to Haley, and

(12:05):
I want to tell you all about it when we
come back.

Speaker 1 (12:31):
We're back.

Speaker 3 (12:31):
We are love. She always tries to need me, Tom.

Speaker 2 (12:34):
We're back.

Speaker 1 (12:36):
What is who's voice? Listen, We're back. We're back. Don't worry,
We're back.

Speaker 2 (12:44):
So I a lot of people had They were like, wait,
I thought you were already engaged.

Speaker 3 (12:50):
We are engaged. We got engaged in July and Mayorca, Spain.

Speaker 2 (12:54):
But the plan was always that I was also going
to I actually thought I was going to propose to Haley.

Speaker 3 (12:59):
First. She surprised me. So I always had the plan.

Speaker 1 (13:04):
That I wis she really Yeah, surprise shocked us.

Speaker 3 (13:10):
All she did. She shocked us all.

Speaker 2 (13:12):
So I was thinking, how now that she knows it's coming,
how am I going to plan something where I'm able
to surprise her?

Speaker 3 (13:22):
Because you know I love a surprise. Yeah, I love
a surprise.

Speaker 2 (13:26):
So at Tanya's birthday party back in July, I was
talking to Robbie's cousin Sabrina, and.

Speaker 3 (13:33):
I was telling she was like, so, what is the plan?

Speaker 2 (13:36):
Or talked about wedding planning, and I was like, well,
I want to propose to her too, but I have
to figure it out because her dream place is to
get engaged in Japan. But if I just book a
trip to Japan, She's going to know it's coming. So
she kind of planted this idea of maybe I have
a work trip or something, or she has a work
trip and then like I show up. She kind of

(13:56):
just planted the seed of coming up with an idea.

Speaker 1 (14:00):
Uh huh.

Speaker 3 (14:01):
So I just been Sabrina, you gotta give credit where
credit is she?

Speaker 1 (14:05):
Actually I saw her at the Hanaka party around this
weekend and she was like, I feel like I maybe
gave her this idea. Actually did I know?

Speaker 2 (14:12):
I know? And so I had been thinking, how am
I going to get Hayley to Japan without me there,
but have me there when she arrives.

Speaker 1 (14:25):
How would one do that? Like, how does one?

Speaker 3 (14:27):
Dude?

Speaker 1 (14:28):
I wouldn't even know. I'd be like, this is too hard,
I'm out quit.

Speaker 3 (14:33):
I'm just doing it.

Speaker 1 (14:34):
I'm just gonna do it right here in.

Speaker 3 (14:36):
So we I have a friend or she's a friend. Now.

Speaker 2 (14:41):
At first she was an acquaintance and her name is
Sinnem and she owns a company called s S Gold.

Speaker 3 (14:46):
Tanya actually planned your trip to Greece.

Speaker 1 (14:49):
With her, Yeah, which she did our trip to Grease
and it was amazing.

Speaker 2 (14:51):
And I met her after that just by coincidence of
being We both go see Tawny for our hair. So
I just happened to be there and she was like,
oh wait, TAWNI was like, do you know Snem? Tania
just worked with her, and so we started talking. Sonyays
I had her email, but we hadn't worked together or anything.
So in September, I was like, I just had this

(15:11):
idea and I'm like, I'm going to reach out to
Sinem and see if this would be something she'd want
to help me with planning this whole proposal trip. So
I email her and I was like I have this
crazy idea. Do you have any time for a phone call?
So I called her. She was like, I'm so in
let's go. So the plan was that she was.

Speaker 1 (15:32):
So crazy, it's so crazy.

Speaker 2 (15:36):
So the plan was that she was going to send
an email to Hailey's management team and basically present an
opportunity to go to Japan and go to the Four
Seasons Kyoto, which is a very special place for us.
We went in twenty nineteen and there was a moment
while we were at the hotel that Hailey told me
she looked over at me and she had this moment

(15:56):
where she was like, I'm going to marry her one day.

Speaker 3 (15:58):
So I always saw it. I have to do it.
I have to get us to Four Seasons in Kyoto.

Speaker 2 (16:04):
So Sinem sends an email to Haley's management team and
it's basically like, we want to offer a trip with
a collaboration between s S Gold, which is Sinem's travel agency,
and then four Seasons Kyoto and you'll get a five
nights stay and.

Speaker 3 (16:21):
You basically have to do posts.

Speaker 2 (16:23):
It's basically what an influencer trip looks like, like the
same amount of posts. It wasn't anything suspicious honestly easiest
deal ever. So I was like, she's gonna say yes, absolutely.
So my plan of why I wasn't able to go
was that I had a work trip.

Speaker 1 (16:40):
Oh, she already proposed the dates, like she was gonna say,
it has to be like these dates.

Speaker 2 (16:43):
So she was going to send the dates. And then
I knew that Haley was going to ask me to
come as a plus one.

Speaker 1 (16:48):
That's why I was like, how did she not get
you to be the plus one?

Speaker 2 (16:50):
So she was gonna ask me to be a plus
one and I was, unfortunately gonna have a work trip
on those dates, and so I was So it went.

Speaker 3 (16:58):
Exactly as I thought.

Speaker 2 (17:00):
Hayley goes, oh my gosh, I just got a deal
with to go to the Four.

Speaker 3 (17:04):
Seasons Kyoto with this travel agency. Like this feels fake.
What did you? She goes, did you do this?

Speaker 2 (17:10):
And I'm like, wait, First of all, I like froze
because that was her first question, and I was like,
how would I do that? Right? And so then her
her manager sends her the official email, which so Nim
and I drafted on chat GPT and she's like, oh
my gosh, this is a real thing, and she was like,
I get a plus one, like we're going to the

(17:32):
four season's Kyoto and I was like, this is crazy.

Speaker 3 (17:35):
What of the dates?

Speaker 2 (17:36):
So she tells me the dates and I go, that's
my So. I did a Starbucks Ambassador program this year.
I was an ambassador for them and it ended in
like September.

Speaker 3 (17:46):
But she didn't know. Now she didn't know.

Speaker 4 (17:48):
I still have diplomatic duties.

Speaker 2 (17:50):
I had to go to London to headquarters.

Speaker 1 (17:57):
Quite the trip for Starbucks.

Speaker 2 (17:59):
Now in a second Starbucks would send me to London,
but I was like, it's the final trip and all
the ambassadors are going together and we're going to I
just hoped that they had a big store there that
if she needed to look it up, it was there.
So I go, I can't do those dates. Can you
ask them if they can move those dates?

Speaker 1 (18:19):
It's great?

Speaker 2 (18:20):
Great, So she's like, okay, I'll ask and they were like, unfortunately,
these are the dates locked in and basically like, let
us know if you if you're not able to do it,
just so we can we need to fill the slot.

Speaker 3 (18:32):
She's like, I'm going.

Speaker 2 (18:33):
I'm like you need to go, whether you just go
with yourself or you invite a plus one I'll meet
you after London.

Speaker 3 (18:39):
So that was the plan.

Speaker 2 (18:41):
She invited Marla, her best friend, and I was going
to London two days before.

Speaker 3 (18:48):
So we're going back and forth.

Speaker 2 (18:51):
She's like negotiating with the Sinnam like trying to get
like can we.

Speaker 3 (18:55):
Get an extra night at the Moon?

Speaker 2 (18:57):
No? And I'm basically telling Sinem like just say yes,
but make it in a way that's like believable, yeah,
like could we add a post or an extra story whatever.
Then she she wanted to see if there was a
car to go to this like fishing village in Japan,
and so Snem calls.

Speaker 3 (19:16):
I'm like just saying yes.

Speaker 2 (19:19):
Like sponsoring a full trip, and Hailey's like, yeah, I
feel like and then she was like yeah, there's gonna
be a tea ceremony, a kimono experience, and Snem's like,
I'm just making all this stuff up so that she
feels like it's like all the things are slotted, and
I'm like that's fine, do whatever.

Speaker 3 (19:37):
So one night.

Speaker 2 (19:38):
Haley goes, how do you how do I know that?
She kept asking, like she kept saying, my dream place
is to get proposed to in Japan. She's like, are
you going to propose and I go, no, like I
really think I want to just do it on my own,
like I want to plan.

Speaker 3 (19:55):
I don't want to do it on like a free
trip that you got. I want to play. Yeah, I
want to do my.

Speaker 2 (19:59):
Own thing and just do it how I want. And
I was like, would you be disappointed if it's not
in Japan?

Speaker 3 (20:06):
She was like, I don't think so.

Speaker 2 (20:10):
And I was like, okay, but I mean, I'll obviously
make it amazing. It's gonna be great, but you know,
I just I need to know before we start doing
this if you're gonna be bummed, because I need to
figure it out. And she's like, no, Like I understand,
you want to do it the way you want to
do it. So for two months of having to keep
up this. By the way, I did not tell a

(20:32):
single person.

Speaker 1 (20:50):
By the way, I don't know if I told it
on the story on the podcast about my scam, My
cool Kuya scam. I think I did. I think I
told it on the podcast. Now did Hey? This short
version I got majorly scammed through email with this like
fake Kolkaya representative. I'm on the phone with Becca and
Haley's the background listening to the whole story, and Haley's like,

(21:13):
I just got invited on this trip to Japan, Like
is my whole thing a scam? I was like, yeah,
that's a freaking scam.

Speaker 3 (21:20):
You should check in.

Speaker 1 (21:21):
On that, like that's for sure. Shut up, shut up.
I had no idea, Like, I literally had no idea.

Speaker 3 (21:29):
But I just had to roll with it. I was like, yeah,
like if it was.

Speaker 2 (21:32):
I was like Tanya worked with CM like it's a
real and then Tony's like, put is it from her
a real email? Yeah?

Speaker 1 (21:38):
I was like check the email, check the phone numbers. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (21:42):
So then we're like trying to plan dates back because
she was like I got them to extend our flight trip.

Speaker 3 (21:48):
I'm like that's amazing.

Speaker 1 (21:50):
Whoa So, I mean, while you're getting the bill on
the other.

Speaker 2 (21:54):
End, just like, okay, this is racking up. And the
plan was that, you know, me, Haley, and Marla were
all gonna share a room, but I got two rooms
so that everyone had their space. And so as it's
getting closer, one night, I had gardened and Haley goes,

(22:16):
how do I know this isn't you doing this whole
thing and that you don't actually have a work trip
with Starbucks? And I like was taking the pillows off
the bed and I was turned away from her, and
I was like, you have to lock in, Like you
have to lock in and be like the best liar
you've ever been. And I was like that would be genius.
I was like, but I really, you know, I really

(22:38):
want to just propose to you the way that I
want to. And she's like, Okay, I'm gonna stop asking
because I don't even I don't want to ruin my
own proposal. And I was like, that would be great,
thanks so much. So after that she stopped like kind
of asking questions about it. I just kept having to
be like, I have stuff in London. I can't wait
to do this in London. Oh my, one of my
favorite people that's part of the ambassadorship, isn't I No,

(22:59):
I wasn't.

Speaker 1 (22:59):
Able to go.

Speaker 3 (23:00):
I'm so yeah.

Speaker 2 (23:03):
I planned a fake trip to New Zealand in January,
saying that I got an opportunity to go there, thinking
that she would think that's where I'm going to propose.

Speaker 1 (23:14):
You got an opportunity to go there?

Speaker 2 (23:16):
No, Like, I got a work thing in Australia and
then I was like we could maybe extend it and
go to New Zealand because she's we wanted to go
to New Zealand, and I thought that would be somewhere
where she would go. Okay, she's going to propose a
New Zealand. So it's a fake trip that I had
her mark off.

Speaker 3 (23:31):
Like a week in January for.

Speaker 2 (23:34):
This. By the way, lying like this, I was just
throwing stuff out there to see what would to Dick,
Like what what is she.

Speaker 3 (23:40):
Going to believe? And that is sick, I know.

Speaker 2 (23:42):
I just I had to commit, and so I didn't
tell anybody. And I because I wanted everything to be
really clean. I didn't want any I didn't want to
have to like protect my stories or anything.

Speaker 1 (23:54):
So clean, well, you would tell people the truth.

Speaker 3 (23:59):
I know. But I can't arrest that anyone wasn't an ax.
I couldn't.

Speaker 2 (24:03):
It was too risky. It was such a big thing,
a big plan that like I really couldn't risk someone slipping.
I would have been like, I can't talk to you
for a weaver. So I was leaving Tuesday night. She
thinks I'm going to London and I'm going to the airport.

(24:24):
Because my whole thing leading up to this was what
am I going to do about my shared location. I'm like,
we share locations. And then I thought, I'm just gonna
turn it off. And I thought, when you turn it off,
it doesn't tell anybody. It does well, apparently when you
only turn off one person's it notifies them. So I'm
on the way to the airport and she goes, hey, babe,

(24:47):
did you mean to stop sharing your location with me?
And I go, uugh, no, I was like, I did
something on my computer before I left. I was like,
I just got the same frantic message from Tanya and
and I just turned it right back on. I like,
didn't make a big deal of it. I just turned
it back on. So then she called me and she's like, hey,
I I still can't see your location because I ended

(25:10):
up turning it off on the app, which doesn't let
anyone know, by the way, And I go, when you
get home, will you check my computer and change the
settings on the my location settings?

Speaker 1 (25:20):
So that turns to have her going into your computer
with like text messages.

Speaker 2 (25:25):
I changed my password, so she was never going to
be able to get into my computer, so she said,
because I was just going to be like tell her
the password and she was going to keep trying and
be like it's not working, and I'm like, oh my god,
I don't know what I did.

Speaker 4 (25:39):
Block your computer.

Speaker 2 (25:40):
Yeah, so she said, she said in hindsight, as soon
as I said, like, just go to my computer and
check it, she didn't think anything of it, because she
was like, you were so nonchalant about it that I
just was like, for I guess I don't care whatever.
So I get to panic. I get to the airport,
she called me, and I fake. I'm sitting by myself.

(26:03):
There's barely anyone sitting around me, and I fake a
conversation like I'm seeing someone from Starbucks.

Speaker 3 (26:09):
It's going on the trip and I'm like.

Speaker 2 (26:11):
Oh my god, hey, like how are you? And I'm
like I overpack so much, like it's gonna be so
cold and rainy, like I'm not prepared. And then I'm
like the person like walked away allegedly, and I go,
oh my god, I feel so bad.

Speaker 3 (26:26):
I can't remember her name.

Speaker 1 (26:32):
It's like diabolical.

Speaker 2 (26:33):
It's diabolical. So I get on the plane. I'm like,
I just have to try the plant. The flight time
from LA to London was like a similar flight time
to Tokyo, so I was like the time, She's not
gonna question you know, why am I still on the plane?
So I was like, I told her it was delayed
an hour or something, so that the length felt more accurate.

Speaker 3 (26:57):
By the way, these are all things that like she
could check. She didn't even think about, right, but she
could have cheme about everything. Yeah, I could have checked.

Speaker 1 (27:05):
Yeah, if you said my fight's delayed, like that's something
Robbie would do, he would like go on the like
website and it was like, look, oh I would never
if he was like my fights lay now, I'm like, okay,
cool text to me, LAMB.

Speaker 3 (27:15):
That's why it's fun to surprise y'all and prank you.

Speaker 1 (27:18):
Because it's just easy.

Speaker 3 (27:21):
So I get there and I land and.

Speaker 2 (27:25):
By the time I think I got there, it was
nighttime here or something. There was a I had a
break or she was I don't know what happened.

Speaker 3 (27:32):
She was busy.

Speaker 2 (27:33):
I got to the hotel I had to, like, I
got to I got to the I landed, I got
off the plane. A guy Snam really helped me, Like
she set up like my car service and everything, like.

Speaker 3 (27:45):
She's literally my hero. I got there, the guy.

Speaker 2 (27:49):
Picked me up, got took me to the train, got
my train to get and put me in my seat
on the train, Otherwise I would probably still be at
the train station. I was so overwhelmed and like it
is so overstimulating and like navigating that system and nothing
being and everyone's super helpful, but nothing being familiar to me.

Speaker 3 (28:11):
I was so grateful for him.

Speaker 2 (28:13):
I had a two hour train ride, so I'm just like, oh,
I'm waiting.

Speaker 3 (28:17):
To get off the plane. It's taking forever. My bag
y to just stom I get to the hotel.

Speaker 2 (28:24):
I tell the girls that meet me. They were like amazing,
the girls at four season. They were in on everything,
so they knew about it. They were so excited. And
I was like, I got to go to my room
and I need to close the blinds because it's supposed
to be dark in London. London was like the worst
choice I could have made, because the opposite day and
night made it so hard trying to like lie FaceTime, Yeah,

(28:44):
because I just had to FaceTime from the room and
have my drapes shut.

Speaker 1 (28:49):
Yeah, because it would be like bright daylight.

Speaker 2 (28:50):
And I'd be like, all right, I'm going to bed.
I'm so tired. I feel jet lagged and then I
go to bed and then go eat breakfast and have
my day. So the first day I got there, I
called her and I was like, I'm literally sick.

Speaker 3 (29:05):
I'm so tired, I have to go to sleep. I
love you so much.

Speaker 2 (29:08):
We FaceTime and then went had breakfast and got a
massage at the hotel, like just talk to the girls
about the plan, scouted the location of where I was
going to do it, and that was the That was
two days before and they were flying in the next day,
and so I was like, I need to call all
the people I need to call. I wanted to call

(29:29):
and ask her parents for their blessing because I was
going to do it at Thanksgiving, but I was just
worried that she would walk in or they might say something.
So I just waited till the day before to call
them and tell them. And then I called you to
tell you. I called her parents and it was like
really sweet and emotional and it was it was like

(29:50):
really special and I'm so glad. I had that time
in my room just chilling because I was able to
kind of process what I needed to do and pick
out my outfit and all the things. But I called
Tanya and Robbie and I want to talk about that,
but we're going to do it.

Speaker 1 (30:09):
Yes, because I have so much to say. I have
so much to say because I just getting a FaceTime
from Becca is very alarming because she never face times me.
So I was like, the whole the whole thing was crazy.

Speaker 3 (30:24):
But we're going to do it on our next episode.

Speaker 1 (30:25):
Yes. So too much to get to.

Speaker 3 (30:27):
Be continued on the next episode of Scribbing in

Speaker 1 (30:33):
