Speaker 1 (00:00):
Scrubbing in with Becca Tilly and Tanya rad and iHeartRadio
and two time People's Choice Award winning podcast.

Speaker 2 (00:10):
Hello everybody, we are scurrubbing him.

Speaker 3 (00:16):
It's Tills and yeah in the scrubbing and pad.

Speaker 1 (00:20):
Wow.

Speaker 3 (00:21):
I fortunately forgot my headphones today because that would have
nearly blown a drum. Well you know what, but it
was perfect without my headphone.

Speaker 2 (00:33):
Yeah, nice, nice night.

Speaker 1 (00:34):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (00:35):
Yeah, how's it going there? Good? How are you? I'm great.
She's got a turtle neck on and a puffer vest
over it.

Speaker 1 (00:43):
That's right, baby.

Speaker 2 (00:46):
What's it like outside, Becka? It just came from the
yonder so hot.

Speaker 3 (00:50):
I'm in just a T shirt and I was like,
it's too heavy. This is too heavy.

Speaker 2 (00:55):
Oh way, So I'm gonna feel good when I go outside.

Speaker 3 (00:57):
You're gonna feel amazing.

Speaker 4 (01:00):
Great.

Speaker 1 (01:00):
It's ninety one currently up to a high of ninety four.

Speaker 3 (01:03):
But it's very like humid or something too.

Speaker 5 (01:06):
There was raining in my house about an hour ago.

Speaker 3 (01:08):
See you people are seeing that it's raining here. I
don't think rain equals cold. It's not very hot summer
rain cold in the studio, that's the thing. It feels
nice in here. Yeah, chilly, yeah, but your set. That's right.

Speaker 2 (01:25):
This is the puffer that stays in the studio.

Speaker 3 (01:27):
Yeah, when I need.

Speaker 4 (01:29):
Her for days like this, exactly cold days like brisk, brisk.

Speaker 3 (01:36):
We are in a new month. We are, we're in
the burst that we're Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:40):
But summer's not over yet until the twenty is it?
Twenty first of the twenty second.

Speaker 1 (01:46):
I can get you the exact moment of the autumnal equinoxy.

Speaker 3 (01:49):
Yeah, that's so interesting. I just always thought after labor.

Speaker 1 (01:54):
It's the unofficial end of summer eleven nineteen am on
Monday the twenty second.

Speaker 3 (01:59):
Yoh, so we saw, I have a whole month of
summer left. I'm not see. I'm I'm one of those
people where I love fall and I'm but like LA
doesn't necessarily get fall, so I'm not like itching for
fall because it doesn't really change. But I like the
feeling of fall, but i also love summer. So it's
just kind of like I'm just living, you know, I'm living.
But some people get really upset if you try to

(02:21):
rush the summer, such as myself. Yeah, and then some
people are like already decorating for Halloween, such as myself.

Speaker 5 (02:28):
Oh, it's a mixed she contains multitudes.

Speaker 2 (02:31):
Yeah, it's a really it's a mixed emotions. I'm feeling,
you know, are you leaning?

Speaker 3 (02:37):
Are you do you find more of yourself leaning towards
fall or summer?

Speaker 5 (02:40):
Right?

Speaker 3 (02:40):
So I love summer. I just love summer.

Speaker 2 (02:43):
To me, there's like a care freness that comes with
summer that I love about that. But I also love
the holidays, which, right, that's what that represents to me,
like the start of Halloween.

Speaker 3 (02:54):
Right, but there's not really any holidays in September.

Speaker 2 (02:58):
The skeletons are a fly up in our house. Wow, yes, okay,
yesterday I put those up.

Speaker 3 (03:04):
Oh wow, okay. So you're leaning into the decorations whilst
still holding onto the summer vibes. That's conflicting. Yeah, your
body might be touring out of sorts. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (03:16):
I was like, it's so funny because I was pulling
my clothes out from my closet last night to wear
to work today, and I was like, I still want
to get out all my summer attire because in about
a month, I can't wear it anymore.

Speaker 3 (03:27):
But then, so who that's me?

Speaker 2 (03:32):
Come like October, I can't be bromping around this buttery yellow.

Speaker 3 (03:35):
I mean October has some warm days, old color and
it's a turtleneck. Oh my gosh, great two more months.

Speaker 6 (03:42):
I can I can put a little jacket over that.

Speaker 3 (03:49):
That rules someone's like you, it's not for the rules.
I will still.

Speaker 2 (03:55):
I was gonna wear white pants today. But I'm on
the first at my period. So it was like not
about where.

Speaker 3 (04:00):
My life never stopped, you, I know, but so this
might be t m I but I wanted to try
free bleeding.

Speaker 5 (04:06):
Oh god, that sounds great.

Speaker 2 (04:10):
Go on, So so I'm not gonna get I. So
I got my period yesterday and I was like really
sad about it, and I cried it's fine, But now
that I have it, I was like, I want to
I've heard about people free bleeding, and I think that
there's something to it because when I been wearing I've
been back on tampons lately, and I get bad cramps

(04:31):
from my tampons. And my friend that free bleeds says
that when she stopped using tampons, she stopped having bad cramps.

Speaker 3 (04:39):
But I have a question about that. It just feels
a little.

Speaker 2 (04:42):
Risky because there's like normally I have like a pandy
liner or something. It just has like a like a
bu say, what's.

Speaker 3 (04:48):
Wrong with a panty liner? Though? Like that's not going
in you correct.

Speaker 2 (04:52):
What I'm saying is now I'm just now just trying
just a pad and just letting myself free bleed.

Speaker 3 (04:56):
That's not free I don't think that's free bleed because
you have something catching it. Oh what's free bleed? I
think there's like nothing.

Speaker 1 (05:03):
You have the friend sitting on the earth.

Speaker 3 (05:05):
And just they're just in nature. So I need to
be outside with Sonny.

Speaker 2 (05:14):
Well, so that seems like an ideal.

Speaker 3 (05:17):
You're just not using tampons? Yeah, what about your cup?
And no cups? Why? Why no cup? Because I'm trying
to free bleed. But I'm just trying to let the
blood flow.

Speaker 2 (05:29):
I'm just trying to let it do what it's meant
to do, which is flow.

Speaker 3 (05:32):
Okay, you know what I mean? No, I mean yeah, sure,
I guess yeah, yeah. But my thing is the reason
when I I know that I'm starting my period is
because I'm cramping before anything's in or around me. Like
i'm cramping. Interesting, I don't have that. Oh okay. Do

(05:53):
you think maybe it's a placebo effect of you just
hearing that it makes you not cramps.

Speaker 2 (05:57):
So no, but you know, I'm nothing, I'm nothing shy
of like somebody something.

Speaker 3 (06:02):
Answer, you were cramping so bad? Your cramps are so
bad because I got my period? Yeah, yeah, so today
you're just.

Speaker 1 (06:11):
But you said tampons were causing the cramping and you didn't.

Speaker 3 (06:14):
Never I said this for my friend. This is yeah,
just show.

Speaker 1 (06:18):
Rebleeding is menstruating without using any mental products like pads,
tampons or cups.

Speaker 2 (06:23):
Oh so taking a step towards I'm free bleeding adjacent,
you're like to be You're free bleeding rising, Yes, rebleeding rising?

Speaker 3 (06:33):
Yeah, exactly. Who's got the time for that? You have
a job.

Speaker 2 (06:37):
I mean it must be nice to free bleed in
the fields during a Monday afternoon.

Speaker 3 (06:42):
Like I think, Oh, must be taking like three to
five days off, three to five business days.

Speaker 2 (06:48):
Yeah, check you later scrubbing and I got ReBs.

Speaker 3 (06:53):
Would appreciate that.

Speaker 1 (06:55):
Speaking of a placebo effect. You got cleansed the other.

Speaker 4 (06:58):
Day, I did, I cleansed, Yes, yes, I heard about this.

Speaker 3 (07:03):
Speaking of.

Speaker 2 (07:07):
As I'm saying, I am like the biggest believer of everything.
If somebody tells me they went to a cleanser and
had this like a magical experience. I'm getting the number
and I'm going to the cleanser next week.

Speaker 3 (07:17):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (07:17):
Yeah, if you tell me that you drank this nettle
leaf tea and it helped you whatever, whatever, I'm buying
the nettle leaf tea. Like I am the target demo
for all things, all things, You're.

Speaker 3 (07:29):
An influencer's target audience exactly. That is me, Like, I
need to come up with a product and just have
you put it out there for me.

Speaker 2 (07:40):
Yes, I will try the people with the people, because
it's not evolving.

Speaker 3 (07:44):
If we're not changing, what are we doing? If I'm
not trying your product?

Speaker 7 (07:50):
I think it's really it's it's I think, a really
great quality to have because you lean into an experience
that one person had a good experience and instead of
doing like heavy research or looking into it or finding
other options, you just you lean in and go for it.

Speaker 3 (08:07):
Yeah, and I'm not I wish I was like that.

Speaker 2 (08:09):
I'm very skeptical, as is my husband. So it's a
good ying to my yang.

Speaker 3 (08:16):
He's a very good match for you. Yes we have discovered.

Speaker 2 (08:19):
Yes, but he also feels good like he I came
home and I was like, wow, I just feel so
cleansed and like. And the thing is, he's not like
I don't really I don't like going to like tarot reading.
I don't believe in like like witchcraft and stuff like that.
But this guy everything came from the Bible, and so
I felt, I don't know, nicer, And so anyways, he

(08:43):
like cleanses the bad energy off of you, and like
I really felt like lighter and better and I just.

Speaker 3 (08:49):
Like loved it. How often are you supposed to get it?

Speaker 2 (08:51):
Whenever you feel negative energy on you?

Speaker 3 (08:55):
You know what I mean.

Speaker 8 (08:56):
So it's like, really, how did he do the cleansing?
Like why did he do you have like a magic
wand or no.

Speaker 3 (09:01):
It's like with again from it's all.

Speaker 5 (09:03):
It's all from the Yes Testament, Old Testament.

Speaker 3 (09:06):
Not sure I didn't ask, but.

Speaker 5 (09:10):
You just said, yeah, it's in there.

Speaker 2 (09:13):
Uh.

Speaker 3 (09:13):
It just has to do. It's like a quick thing.

Speaker 2 (09:15):
And I couldn't really see you because it was happening
like behind me. But it has to do with like metal.

Speaker 5 (09:23):
Oh alchemy, Okay.

Speaker 2 (09:24):
And then you like drop it in water and then
he spits on it, and then Kinky spits on what
you the med no on the metal piece that he
put in the water.

Speaker 3 (09:38):
You know what, I don't need to discuss this with you, guys.

Speaker 1 (09:43):
I used to be able to skeptic in here, but
I feel like I'm among friends now. I feel like
we're all skeptical of this cleansing.

Speaker 3 (09:49):
I listen. My thing is whether it's placebo or real.
If you felt better, you felt better.

Speaker 2 (09:56):
It's like my it's like my gratitude journals. Like is
that Is that journaling making me happier?

Speaker 3 (10:02):
Yes? I do believe that, though, but like connect that
because I believe that like putting gratitude out there and
like what you're grateful for, and like appreciating life, and
like like putting that out there on paper, whatever you're doing,
I do believe that that.

Speaker 1 (10:22):
Makes a lot of sense. I don't know that spitting
on liquid metal makes a great deal of sense.

Speaker 3 (10:26):
Well, to be honest, this is the first time I've
heard about it. I'm curious to look into it. We'll
do some TikTok research. That's my favorite kind.

Speaker 2 (10:35):
And you're not going to find him on TikTok.

Speaker 3 (10:37):
Not him, but there's going to be someone else doing
his all right, right, I don't know, you do you
you do?

Speaker 2 (10:45):
You can't there's no calling.

Speaker 3 (10:50):
It's just healing. Mm hmm. I'll tell you about it later.
I want to know, and then people.

Speaker 1 (10:55):
Should know biblical healing.

Speaker 3 (10:58):
And if people want to look in do it. I
don't know what they look into.

Speaker 2 (11:02):
Is it like look into a cleanse cleansing healer?

Speaker 4 (11:08):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (11:08):
Okay, but you feel good?

Speaker 2 (11:10):
Feel great?

Speaker 4 (11:10):
Wow?

Speaker 3 (11:11):
Will you go back to him? Yeah? Hondo?

Speaker 2 (11:17):
You think you're gonna get your negative juju on me?

Speaker 3 (11:21):
Ah No, you're a rubber and we are glue.

Speaker 2 (11:24):
Whatever you say bounces off me and sticks to you.

Speaker 3 (11:27):
Yeah that's right. Yeah, well that's great news.

Speaker 2 (11:30):
Yeah, congrats, thank you so much. You know what'd you
do this weekend?

Speaker 3 (11:35):
Why?

Speaker 7 (11:37):
So?

Speaker 3 (11:38):
Yeah? Yeah, I just want to know. Oh we went
to the beach twice.

Speaker 2 (11:44):
Yeah, I know because I try to stop by on Saturday.

Speaker 3 (11:46):
Yeah, we went Saturday and Sunday, and then yesterday we
had a chill day and then went to the Angel
City soccer game. That's cute. So we talked to Malibu,
which is to dry for us, but I find it
to be so worth it because we normally do like
point doom or zooma. But it was so insanely crowded.

Speaker 1 (12:08):
Yes, we considered zooma. We went to We go up
to a place called us Silver Strand, which is up
towards ox Nard, and.

Speaker 8 (12:15):
It's it's it's it's usually did you check in my location?

Speaker 1 (12:19):
You know, I'm not a big beach fan. I just
feel like it's all kind of filthy. But it was
a family outing. It was Labor day. We can, let's
go to the beach. Great, let's go to the beach.
We went and it was fine, but it was super crowded.
But the cool thing was there was maybe one hundred
sea lions also on the beach, so it's just like people, people, people, people,
And then they just stopped because people don't want to
be too close to the sea lions and nothing but

(12:39):
sea lions for a good football field. And then the
people started up again. It was crazy, and they smelled
real bad. Kind of keep some distance from the sea lions,
but just watching them play and frolic together, it's really fun.

Speaker 3 (12:51):
They're really cute. Yeah, really, they are really cute. Well,
I'm also very like, I'm very particular about the beach
we go too, because I I don't like bad smells
and I like to be able to like get into
the ocean and it feel like clean. But on Saturday
we went to Point Doom, and because there's like the
huge like cliff Rocks right there, I think the waves

(13:13):
are a little rougher in that space. So Haley I
go to just like dip in and like dunk my head.
And then Haley was like, I'm gonna go out there,
but I need to go past where the waves are
breaking because I don't want to like want to like
come and knock me out. So I'm like sitting there
watching her and she goes so far out and I
have a huge fear of shark, so I'm like just

(13:35):
like have my eyes on her. Not that I could
do anything, you know, just watching her. She's like swimming.
I'm like, oh, she like training for a triathal on?
What was going on? Nothing better than free swimming. But yeah,
not once do I think like she's struggling. So she
comes in and she's like panting. She's like I was
swimming and I realized I wasn't getting anywhere, and I

(13:56):
was like, Babe, you need to have a signal so
that if you're struggling, I know, to pay attention because
we thought you were leisurely like swimming and floating out
there like so scary. I'm like, hey, you were not
allowed to go out without a life vest. You're like
a floating back going to add I gotta add that
to our beachless.

Speaker 1 (14:18):
What did she do? Is there a technique like do
you go like diagonal to the current or something.

Speaker 3 (14:22):
We're supposed to go parallel? Uh, you're supposed to like
parallel to the beach is what they say to get
out of the rip current, because if you're trying to
fight against it going towards shore it is you're not
gonna do it. But I think she just found a
wave and caught it and it pushed her in. But
I was like, can you because we thought she was
like just waving, But I was like, I need you

(14:43):
to do like this signal she was just waving. I
told her that. I was like, if you did that,
I would think she was just waving. So it's like,
maybe like make an O with your hands or something.
Are you supposed to do that when you're like treading
water fighting for your life, Like okay, well you're a
life jacket then. But it was a really lovely weekend.

Speaker 2 (15:04):
Our beach girly and I am on the beach. My
phone went like out of commission for three hours. On Saturday,
a Verizon thing happened to me. So we were out
like looking at houses and so we were and then
we wanted to go buy pillows. So we went to
sit and sleep.

Speaker 3 (15:23):
Yeah, were you fully made? Just son't comfortable? Yeah?

Speaker 2 (15:26):
And we tried out like a bunch of different pillows.
Found my most amazing pillow of my life. Like I'm like,
how am I thirty eight years old? And I've never
tested I've just bought these pillows, just like Willy Nilly
didn't try them. I've been kinking crooking my neck for
my whole sleep, my whole life. Now I have a
flat pillow, Like it's like dense flash Like she's heavy,

(15:51):
like when she's she's some pounds.

Speaker 3 (15:54):
Is it like the timber peedick where you lay down
it molds to your head and it has that heaviness.

Speaker 2 (15:59):
I don't think it's repeat, but I have a photo
of it.

Speaker 3 (16:01):
Hold on, let me see when.

Speaker 1 (16:02):
It's cold out or the humidity is mine is like
a rock?

Speaker 3 (16:06):
No? No gel?

Speaker 1 (16:08):
Oh a gel?

Speaker 3 (16:13):
Is this sponsored?

Speaker 7 (16:17):
Wow?

Speaker 3 (16:18):
I would buy that just based off of the smile
and that picture. But the I go.

Speaker 2 (16:23):
So I got this, and then I got a second
pillow because sometimes I sleep on my side, which is
the one Robbie bought, because he was like loving life
on this one too, like he was like this is amazing,
Like we were like kids in a candy store. It
was so crazy. He ended up with the purple pillow.
Oh I've heard I have that, and it's like it's

(16:43):
almost like Agris inside. Oh he was blown away. Anyways,
So now I have two different pillows to decide.

Speaker 6 (16:51):
From that age if he wants something to look forward to.

Speaker 3 (16:58):
Oh yeah, it was quite the adding.

Speaker 2 (17:01):
But we were by we were in Becca's neck of
the woods, and so I was like freaking out because
I couldn't text you because my phone was like broken,
and so I was like, Robbie, can you text Becca
and ask her if she's home?

Speaker 3 (17:12):
And he goes. She never responds to me.

Speaker 4 (17:15):
What me?

Speaker 3 (17:18):
I said, just say it's me, it's Tanya texting from
your phone.

Speaker 2 (17:23):
I never respond, Well, you know how, you just like
normally don't respond, like can you just take a long time.

Speaker 3 (17:28):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (17:29):
I don't think it's like a hymn thing. I think
it's just like a youth thing.

Speaker 3 (17:32):
Okay, that's here I am.

Speaker 2 (17:37):
And so I was like, we should go so ahead
to them, and he was like, nobody likes an unsolicited
drop by. I was like, no, they'll like it.

Speaker 3 (17:46):
He said that, yeah, Robbie, Robbie gets me.

Speaker 1 (17:50):
I think Robbie gets just humans. I don't think anyone
likes those. I think there was a time in American
history where that was a normal thing, like Hi, knock, knock, knock.
I brought you guys a castle role. But I think
those days have passed. I think, oh, is there's a
comedian or a sketch I saw once. I'm trying to
think of what it was. But the idea is, in
the old days, someone knocks out, Oh we have company,
Oh great, get out the good silver were come on in. Now,

(18:12):
if somebody knocks at your door at night when you're
watching TV, you hide, you turn the lights off. You're like,
holy crap, what's gone wrong? Who is here? What's happening?
What are they trying to sell us?

Speaker 3 (18:22):
Everybody don't breathe.

Speaker 2 (18:24):
Well, we got to turn the tables, we got to
flip it around.

Speaker 3 (18:27):
There is a part of me that I do think
there's like something you were home on Saturday would you
have enjoyed that? It depends on what we were doing.

Speaker 1 (18:38):
Well, what time was it? It's like three, okay, what
do you think you were probably doing? I was at
the beach, okay, but on normal Saturday afternoon at three.

Speaker 3 (18:47):
I mean we could have just been like hanging on
the couch watching TV, which is not when you want.

Speaker 5 (18:50):
Like, yeah, that's what I'm saying.

Speaker 3 (18:53):
But I would have. I mean, Tonty's my best friend,
Like I would have been like coming, but Tanya comments like,
there's no like safety with her, like my messiness.

Speaker 2 (19:04):
When she comes over, it would not cam you to
put clothes on their hangars.

Speaker 3 (19:10):
We do, but there's just stuff. We just both were
always like, I clean your business.

Speaker 2 (19:15):
I think it would help her mindset.

Speaker 3 (19:18):
That's for me to figure out, not you. But she'll
she'll want to stop by, and I'm like, no, you'll
make call. It's too messy for you to stop by
anyone else. So I'm like, that's fine, come on, because
no one cares. They're just like it's fine, it's always
like this, that's you.

Speaker 2 (19:35):
I don't care. I'm just trying to help you.

Speaker 1 (19:38):
Yeah, one infiltrating their house and telling them how to live.

Speaker 3 (19:44):
I help her do it. It's not like I sit
there and say, I mean, you haven't helped me do
it since I lived on Darlington.

Speaker 2 (19:53):
Not true. I have helped you clean this house.

Speaker 3 (19:57):
This house, yeah, I think for the first hell of Party.

Speaker 2 (20:00):
Yes, and one other time I can't remember. There was
just like I remember we were in your room and
I was like, helping you fold clothes.

Speaker 3 (20:07):
Yeah, that's you're good about that. Maybe one day you
can come over and just help help clean. Yeah, happy
to organized. It's really just organized. I got this robot
vacuum cleaner also mops another This is how you know
you're what age? Okay, I get one of those. I
got it because Phoebe is alerted to everything. And I

(20:31):
looked under the bed and I was like, no, wonder
why she's sneezing. It is like dust haven under here.
But it's a king bed and I can't get under
it with like the vacuum I have. Says I'm going
to get this robot, and I spent a lot of money.
It was the it was the mega top of the line,
top of the something. It looks like concept. Yeah, but wow,

(20:55):
are my floors spick and span? They look amazing. Yeah,
because the floors look so clean. I didn't realize like
they just look fresh. Okay, we gotta take a break.
I'm feeling anxious right now. We didn't know what I
did this weekend because it was from just that well,

(21:34):
what did you do this weekend? No, I'm kidding, we don't.
We didn't order orthotics.

Speaker 2 (21:38):
But like, this is so we we've just been like
gone a lot and just like really busy. And this
was like the first weekend that we had no plans,
and so we made it to do list and I
was like, Okay, we're going to turn our to do
list into a to do list at the end of
the weekend, you know, like we're going to do all
of this and yeah, and we pretty much like did

(22:00):
everything on our list. Wow, with like the exception of
maybe like one.

Speaker 3 (22:03):
Thing, what'd you like, what what'd you do?

Speaker 2 (22:06):
We basically we did our entire twenty twenty six custody calendar.
We went through all of our closets, got rid of like,
took a lot of stuff to Goodwill, went through the
kids closets, did the same thing. We uh went and
saw houses.

Speaker 3 (22:22):
Oh m hm.

Speaker 2 (22:23):
We looked at houses online. There was some couple of
other things, like some like little things on there whatever,
but we.

Speaker 3 (22:29):
Really like got through our whole.

Speaker 2 (22:32):
Oh we started my name change pamphlet, which is like
a whole nother to do today and it felt really good,
Like I feel like we like accomplished a lot.

Speaker 3 (22:43):
Had a date night. Wow, I was on the to
do list.

Speaker 2 (22:46):
Yeah, gotta pencil it in. You to get it in
when you can, get it in when you can.

Speaker 3 (22:51):
Laura sent me this video of.

Speaker 4 (22:56):
You.

Speaker 3 (22:56):
Did you ever see Eat Prey Love No? Is that
Julia Roberts? Then yes? But do you remember watching that
and thinking like she was older? Right? Like I just
remember thinking like, oh, she's older and she's like going
to have like, yeah, a moment.

Speaker 7 (23:10):
Fifties at least she was thirty five, And I was like, okay,
are you pretty?

Speaker 3 (23:17):
Love age has come and gone. Not that you can
eat pray love whenever you need, but I was like
shook that. I remember thinking, oh, she's me too. Yeah, midlife.

Speaker 1 (23:31):
So anyways, the characters thirty five, she was actually thirty
five when she the character trying true story. Okay, still
I don't think she was much older than that Julie
Roberts when she did that movie.

Speaker 3 (23:43):
Yeah, she was probably around that, but yeah, how crazy
is that?

Speaker 8 (23:46):
Like when I found out that Homer Simpson is like
thirty six or something, that that was a.

Speaker 5 (23:50):
Rude awakening for me.

Speaker 3 (23:52):
Is he really?

Speaker 5 (23:53):
Yeah, like I'm older than Homer now and that's so
sad to me.

Speaker 3 (23:56):
And all the Friends characters, how old were they like,
and they're like late twenties, early thirties.

Speaker 5 (24:03):
Yeah, the Golden Girls will really blowing your mind though.

Speaker 1 (24:06):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (24:07):
Good, I think they're like fifty one or something.

Speaker 3 (24:10):
No, Golden Girls.

Speaker 5 (24:12):
The Golden Girls characters are you think they're in their
eighties right?

Speaker 1 (24:17):
Right at the start of the show, Dorothy was fifty three,
Blanche was fifty three, and Rose was fifty five. The
haircut Sophia was seventy nine because she was Doy's mother.

Speaker 3 (24:28):
This is the hair theory the haircuts because also the
women of Anne just like that are in their fifties,
but they all have right like they it's a different feeling.
You feel. Wow, So someone goes I saw someone to
go why do is it just like when people get
to a certain age, they're like just chop it all off.

(24:49):
I don't want to do Like, why did that become
like something you did in your older age, you know,
because if you think about it, it's just like annoying.
But I find short hair more difficult, I guess when
it's more like a bob but maybe like you've never
gone short short No, but maybe wouldn't. But but I
just feel like it would be more work to get it,
like to lay right.

Speaker 2 (25:08):
It's like cooler, yeah, like in terms of.

Speaker 3 (25:11):
Like heat temperature, yeah, but also cooler edgy. Yeah yeah,
that's crazy fifty years old. Should we get to Taylor Swift?
Shall we? I just it feels like it's been weeks.
I thought we are on a podcast. Yeah, I thought
we did know her. We talked about the podcast.

Speaker 2 (25:31):
Yes, yes, because it happened on a Tuesday at ten
am ten o one, ten o two, ten one ten one.

Speaker 3 (25:37):
Yeah. Yeah, I remember.

Speaker 2 (25:39):
I saw the news and I saw that it had
only been out for like a minute.

Speaker 3 (25:46):
And this is how sick I am.

Speaker 2 (25:47):
I was like, I want to be the first person
in all my work group chats to say it, to
like tell everybody what I mean.

Speaker 3 (25:54):
I was, well, yeah, congrats.

Speaker 5 (25:55):
That's how I found out about it.

Speaker 3 (25:58):
I was with e J and he was like, I'm
gonna to beat you to it, and I was like, no,
I bet there were so many where their typos galore.

Speaker 2 (26:05):
I'm sure Taylor's like it was not like a fully
thought out Yeah, it was just.

Speaker 3 (26:10):
Like Taylor's engaged. So os s O s s os
so happy for them. Do we think it happened before,
way before the podcast or.

Speaker 1 (26:21):
Do we think it Easton has a theory?

Speaker 6 (26:24):
Easton are our secret Easter Egg Eastern.

Speaker 3 (26:29):
I did not know you were the go to guy
for the Easter Egg.

Speaker 8 (26:32):
You know, I can be whoever anyone wants to SATs. Yes,
the fine people at KTLA trust my opinion, So I'm
gonna share it with you now. The the thing that
I liked is if you look at the engagement photos, well,
like like where they're staying with their side to the camera,
like Taylor's hair is like swirled in a way that

(26:53):
looks like it was matted down by a pair of
the very same headphones I'm wearing as we speak, the
sony mdr.

Speaker 6 (27:00):
Uh.

Speaker 8 (27:01):
But I believe her, didn't the dad that Papa Kelsey
say that it happened like weeks ago.

Speaker 3 (27:07):
He said weeks ago? Yeah, I saw people.

Speaker 2 (27:09):
Yeah, he like came and did like his whole interview
and said that it happened a couple of weeks ago.
But I saw a lot of swifty saying that Tree
would not let Taylor do a podcast if they weren't endgame.
That makes sense, So people were assuming that like it
happened before, just because Tree wouldn't let her do the what.

Speaker 3 (27:28):
I'm just dying and thinking about. I got engaged and
someone's on the side of my hair and said they
looked like they had some big head.

Speaker 1 (27:37):
This is what he's talking about right there. See the
headphone swirl in her hair.

Speaker 3 (27:41):
I think that's just her curly.

Speaker 1 (27:43):
Yeah, Allen over that because you went on TV and
broadcast this theory.

Speaker 5 (27:48):
That's right. All of Los Angeles got to hear that idea.

Speaker 2 (27:51):
Also, do you know what I thought was so cute
that I didn't realize for a really long time. You
know how they wrote your English teacher and your gym
teacher are getting married, and then the little explosion.

Speaker 3 (28:00):
Yeah, like dynamite. Yeah, do you know what that is?

Speaker 2 (28:03):
TNT Taylor and Travis?

Speaker 3 (28:08):
Is that really what that is? Yes?

Speaker 1 (28:09):
I think that is because somebody else explained that to me.

Speaker 2 (28:11):
Yeah, that's really I thought it was the weirdest emoji.
I was like, okay, explosion, we got it, Like yeah, okay,
And then when I realized it was TNT, I was like,
that is so cute.

Speaker 3 (28:22):
Yeah, that is cute. It's really cute. I wonder what
she's I wonder it's like what her career, like, what
she's gonna do right now, Like I wonder if she's
just going to enter into like planning a wedding.

Speaker 2 (28:35):
You're engaged at the same time as Taylor Swift, Like
your photo is now in these carousels, like the famous
couples that got engaged in twenty twenty five, and then
it's Taylor and Travis.

Speaker 3 (28:46):
It's Taylor and Travis, it's u Zindia and Tom, it's
Dua and Callum.

Speaker 2 (28:52):
Yeah, but I thought's India and Tom got engaged last year.

Speaker 3 (28:55):
But to each their own I didn't know half of
these people were engaged. I was like, this is education
for me. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (29:01):
So you're like in the same you're living this, you're
basically living the same life as Taylor.

Speaker 3 (29:06):
Swift, exactly the exact same life.

Speaker 2 (29:10):
Like you guys are checking things off your list, putting
them pen to paper, podcast doing guest lists like you're
in it together.

Speaker 3 (29:20):
Yeah, isn't that cute. I wonder if we're gonna have
the same vision of a wedding.

Speaker 2 (29:24):
I wonder who her bridesmaids are gonna be.

Speaker 3 (29:27):
M I thought she doesn't have them. You think none?
Maybe Abigail. No, you think she's gonna have no bride.
I think Abigail will be like her maid of honor
or whatever.

Speaker 1 (29:38):
Okay, who's Abigail?

Speaker 3 (29:41):
Her best friend thirteen? So cute. She's been around. You
see pictures of her, Abigail, Yeah, you would probably recognize
what you saw.

Speaker 1 (29:52):
I just, of course I know who that is. I
was just Freddy Scrubbers, who may not.

Speaker 5 (29:57):
Right, of course.

Speaker 1 (29:58):
I'm very dialedant.

Speaker 3 (29:59):
I'm trying to I I did try to watch the
Love Island reunion. Do we already talk about that? Did
we talk about that? They tried to watch it and
you try to watch it.

Speaker 1 (30:07):
I was just so the last time we were here
was the day of the reunions.

Speaker 3 (30:11):
Oh, okay, So this all happened last week.

Speaker 1 (30:16):
It was quite a week.

Speaker 3 (30:16):
It was quite a week. The reunion happened last Monday. Yeah,
it was Monday, the twenty fifth. It feels like it's.

Speaker 5 (30:22):
Been like the engagement feels like it was a month ago.

Speaker 3 (30:25):
How have we not talked about this? I know I
should really do a podcast on Fridays. I tried to
watch the reunion and kind of something about it feels.
I saw someone put this to words in a TikTok
tell me that everyone who goes on Love Island they
have this like spark in this like liveliness and youth
and excitement. And then by the time we watched the reunion,

(30:46):
it's just soldless, soulless. Yeah, and it made me feel
like dark about it. There's something weird that I think
has happened.

Speaker 2 (30:55):
I think in the last like two seasons where they
get off the they get off the island, and then
they all start doing these podcasts and they all start
check checking each other, like you said this about me
on a podcast, and you said this about me on
this podcast, and you said this, and I'm like, no
one knows what you're talking about because we haven't listened
to half.

Speaker 3 (31:11):
Of these podcasts.

Speaker 2 (31:13):
But they're all like, you know, taking their notes and
making their receipts and like coming at each other, and
it's just like too much.

Speaker 3 (31:19):
I just feel like the reunion should either be like
six months from now, yeah, or immediately.

Speaker 2 (31:26):
After right, like you step off the island, you step
onto a camera, yes, but then you you don't get
the like real life of it.

Speaker 5 (31:35):
But I guess that's not a reunion. It's just another episode,
right yeah. If it's like right after.

Speaker 3 (31:40):
Or like a week though, like something can make it live,
but also the live element that needs to be live
because by the time it aired, two of these couples
had already broken up.

Speaker 2 (31:47):
So I'm like, this is irrelevant. This was literally like
yesterday's news.

Speaker 1 (31:51):
That's what you said to me. The next morning, I said,
telling you, how is the irrelevant?

Speaker 3 (31:56):
Yeah? I was pissed. It was though, and I was
just sitting there. It was so long that I go,
what am I doing?

Speaker 2 (32:03):
Like Amaya and Brian barely said two words, and I'm like,
they are who I wanted to hear from. And then
they're broken up already, so I'm like, they're broken up,
they're broken up, and Iris and Pepe irrelevant irrelevant. Anyways,
I finished Love Island UK.

Speaker 3 (32:19):
Finally a journey. It seemed it was a journey. Spoiler alert. Oh,
I don't know if I'm supposed to say this and
Taylor might get bat Taylor Banks might get mad at me.
But she said all of your takes were trash. Oh,
she said, I need to talk to Tanya, but I
need to talk to Taylor.

Speaker 2 (32:37):
And I talked to the UK because the UK got
in these three dinglings to win the season, and I'm like,
these were the meanest girls of the season.

Speaker 3 (32:46):
I said, Oh. I was like, yeah, Tanya's watching UK
and she's on like the fifty seven episode, which blows
my mind. And she and Taylor goes, yeah, I need
to talk to Tanya because her takes are tr well.

Speaker 2 (32:58):
I need to talk to Taylor because her takes and
the UK's take our trash.

Speaker 3 (33:04):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (33:04):
I do know, because the UK also beloved these three
girls and I do not understand they were so mean
all season. Oh really except for one one, like one
of them is fine.

Speaker 3 (33:17):
Well, I'll try and get her her takes on it.
Put the group chat.

Speaker 2 (33:22):
Yeah, I'd like to hear from her. The UK is wrong.

Speaker 3 (33:28):
Tanya finally started summer. I turned pretty, I did, how
are you feeling?

Speaker 2 (33:34):
The Conrad obsession is so sick? He literally is like
Joe Goldberg from you. It's so creepy. There was this
one episode where he.

Speaker 3 (33:44):
Like he's from his perspective.

Speaker 2 (33:48):
From his perspective, it is if you put a ten
seconds of Conrad what's their last name? Fisher Fisher pining Overbelly,
and then a ten second clip of Joe Goldberg pining
over his girls and you, it's I.

Speaker 3 (34:03):
About a ten second clip of you pining over Robbie's hands.

Speaker 2 (34:07):
That's my husband. I can pine away all just like
that when he wasn't. No, I did it, yes, you
when he was my boyfriend fine fair fair not my
brother's girlfriend fiance.

Speaker 1 (34:22):
Right, there's some making a valid point that you can
get creepy at times.

Speaker 3 (34:27):
Whatever, No, but I just thought it was funny. She
was like, he's so creepy the way he pines for her,
And I'm like, he's in love and you pine for
Robbie because you're in love and.

Speaker 2 (34:38):
You but he pined for me too, do you know
what I mean?

Speaker 3 (34:43):
It wasn't from afar, but she pined for him and
he hurt her. My theory on this whole thing is
that Belly needs to step away from dating brothers and
look outside of the.

Speaker 2 (34:55):
Fissureth Yeah, she needs to get onto Belly. There's plenty
of fish out in the sea.

Speaker 3 (35:02):
She needs to go to Paris.

Speaker 2 (35:03):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, I'm not a team Jeremiah girl either.

Speaker 3 (35:07):
I think he's you were one too.

Speaker 2 (35:09):
Yeah, I just don't think Conrad's the answer. Everybody's like,
she needs to be with Conrad.

Speaker 4 (35:14):
I'm like, nah, yeah, she don't obsessed with Conrad.

Speaker 3 (35:19):
Am I missing something? I mean, he's very I get it.
Conrad would be the one that I would go for for.
But I also think it's really destroyed this brotherhood and
maybe she should look elsewhere. Yeah, brothers is it's never
a good thing.

Speaker 2 (35:35):
No, but I just found out that the finale of
that show here September seventeenth. That's been a long time.

Speaker 3 (35:43):
Yeah, we have three more episodes. Oh are you caught up?
I think? So? Okay? Is there When does Gray's Anatomy
come back? Oh? Do we have any I'm.

Speaker 1 (35:51):
On it season twenty one? Let's see?

Speaker 3 (35:55):
Hey is the season twenty one or twenty two? Oh?

Speaker 1 (35:57):
Is it twenty two? Gosh, kids grow up so fast.
October ninth, we returned to Gracelawn Memorial.

Speaker 3 (36:04):
That's soon I'll be locked in because it was a
really good fun that's gonna like to hear welcome back, everybody.
There was a dramatic explosion or something at the very end.

Speaker 1 (36:13):
You remember, let's say she.

Speaker 3 (36:17):
Looked in like the the Yes explosion.

Speaker 1 (36:20):
They left something the gas. There's a person left the
gas leak happening, yes, and then boom boom.

Speaker 3 (36:30):
Yeah. Anyways, so much for that. Okay, I want to
get into the music world because I want to talk
about Sabrina's new album and the song of the Summer.
But we'll be right back. Everyone's you know, Sabrina's new

(37:06):
album came out, and she is a friend to this show.
She's a friend. She has a friend to scrubbing in,
so I might call it a legendary episode. Yeah, that
involves Sabrina Carpenter.

Speaker 2 (37:19):
I'm still upset that we didn't bring that up with
Danielle Fischal. I guess what would we say about it
during an interview with Sabrina Carpenter.

Speaker 3 (37:30):
What do you think about that? Would you be embarrassed?
I there are rumors that she's gonna be on Dance
with the Stars or did they announce it?

Speaker 5 (37:41):
I even heard these rumors.

Speaker 3 (37:42):
Oh, I've seen rumors that Danielle is going to be
on Dancing at the Stars. Let's ask her, Well, that
would be Easton has her phone number?

Speaker 5 (37:50):
I do have a phone number. I've been to her house.

Speaker 3 (37:52):
When do they release the new cast? I think mark
or tomorrow? I think I think tomorrow. Why does everything
happen on Tuesdays? Because I don't know what you say? Say?
Alex Earle said find out tomorrow and good Morning America
or something, or maybe it's just her partner. I don't know.

Speaker 1 (38:09):
You're correct, Tomorrow morning and Good Morning America. The season
premiere September sixteenth, and there are rumors of Daniel Fisher,
but no announcement has been made.

Speaker 3 (38:16):
Wow, well that's fun. There's a bunch of rumors of
people that are going to be on it, like who else? Well,
the people that are confirmed are Alex Earl, Robert Irwin.
Who are the It's Danielle Fischel.

Speaker 5 (38:36):
Jan seeing.

Speaker 1 (38:40):
So good?

Speaker 3 (38:41):
Yeah? Who? There were other people that I wasn't sure
who was absolutely confirmed and who was rumored.

Speaker 1 (38:49):
But Jaron Affleck and Whitney Levitt from Secret Lives.

Speaker 5 (38:52):
Of Hell, Yeah they are confirmed.

Speaker 1 (38:55):
Okay, Baldwin, she might be rumor Taylor Lawtner.

Speaker 3 (39:04):
I haven't seen that, no.

Speaker 1 (39:08):
Truth whatsoever, but that rumor was out there it.

Speaker 8 (39:10):
Has been busy Feldman, is it rumored?

Speaker 3 (39:16):
Wait? Yeah, who is that?

Speaker 8 (39:18):
He's a star from a Day gone by?

Speaker 1 (39:22):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (39:25):
Yeah, I saw his name. Actually, the guess is what
I saw was the guess of the pairings, and he
was weirdly paired with Riley, who is on the podcast.

Speaker 1 (39:40):
Boston Rob also rumored that's exciting.

Speaker 2 (39:43):
You throw a survivor name in there and it perks
me right up.

Speaker 5 (39:46):
See. Andy Richter rumored, wow, love to see that.

Speaker 3 (39:50):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (39:51):
I thought this was going to be more exciting than
it wasn't.

Speaker 3 (39:53):
Sorry I down this path. My apologies everybody. Anyways, the
Song of the Summer debate, what is your or song
of the Summer?

Speaker 1 (40:01):
We were all wrong, right, the predictions we made.

Speaker 2 (40:03):
I think mine it has to be ordinary, Alex Warren,
it has to be.

Speaker 5 (40:09):
It's been number one for like a million weeks.

Speaker 2 (40:10):
Yeah, it's like the song that jumps out like what
else jumps out of you?

Speaker 1 (40:15):
Daisies, I thought love Me Not was Yeah, Yeah.

Speaker 3 (40:22):
What's that? He loves me not? He loves me? He
holds me died and let me go wi Yeah, oh
but it's not a song of summer? Yeah, I only
know that part of it. Yeah, yeah, not Manchild.

Speaker 1 (40:41):
Didn't take off like he thought it would, certainly not
as much as expressed though, but I picked teally when
the wine runs out, Becca.

Speaker 3 (40:47):
Said, Unfortunately, it couldn't have been more.

Speaker 1 (40:52):
An unreleased time song.

Speaker 3 (40:56):
I thought they were going to come through with the
Big Summer. You know that one song of the is
like a relationship.

Speaker 2 (41:01):
No, it's what's it? It's like something l a. It's
like big on Instagram?

Speaker 1 (41:06):
Whatever you said? What was that? By Lord? So you
shouldn't be laughing too hard?

Speaker 2 (41:11):
Back up.

Speaker 3 (41:16):
Was a hypothetical unreleased First of all, what was that?
By Lord?

Speaker 2 (41:20):
Should have been the song of the Summer. It is
so hype, it is controlling.

Speaker 3 (41:24):
Everybody is wrong.

Speaker 2 (41:25):
The u K Is wrong about Love Island, and the
USA is wrong about Lias.

Speaker 5 (41:31):
I strongly believe that wen't.

Speaker 3 (41:34):
Really we were rooting for this.

Speaker 5 (41:36):
I love that album.

Speaker 3 (41:37):
Dang, ma'am, you're all wrong.

Speaker 1 (41:41):
Oh but really they're saying the number one the song
of Summer really was nothing. Jet to holidays everyone, that's
just everyone.

Speaker 3 (41:54):
I did an honorable mention, Wow, it should have been bigger. Okay,
I love that Tanya should have been should have been the.

Speaker 2 (42:03):
One everybody is missing out.

Speaker 3 (42:05):
Okay to Sabrina's new album, what do you Think? Have you?
I listened to half of it half did you not finish?
It was on a drive thirty minutes. Yeah, well I
got there. But can I be honest, I didn't like it.
I like it, but they all it's a very familiar

(42:26):
sound and vibe. I just wish she changed up like
I felt like her Sweetened what was it short? Sweet
was such a like moment and the look and everything
about it was just like it. It was just so
what it was in the best way. And I wish
that she had like changed up the sound and like
her vibe for it.

Speaker 2 (42:46):
I do feel like the sound is very different. This
album to me feels very like theatrical.

Speaker 3 (42:50):
Oh really, I feel like it's reminds me of like
Dolly Parton, like yeah, very yes, yes, yeah, but yeah,
I do have my favorites. They because I'm curious. I
was curious.

Speaker 2 (43:03):
House Tour is my number one. I could listen to
a song. I have been listening to it and repeat.
It's so like to me, it's just pops, just straight pop,
no twang, just pop. Sugar Talking is also up there
and then I I don't love Goodbye, but I love
the lyrics of Goodbye. I say those are my lyricsis yeah,

(43:27):
because the whole album is like this very cheeky, funny
like party of heartbreak. It's like a different spin on heartbreak.
Like the lyrics are all about heartbreak and like it's
kind of sad some of it, but she does it
in like a very satirical way.

Speaker 3 (43:44):
That's right, it's the terical. I hope that's the word.

Speaker 2 (43:50):
That I that makes sense, Okay, like sarcastic. Yeah, yeah,
so that I do love that about it. But those
and then tears, So wait, what's the lost Okay, so
it's those. House Tour is number one, Sugar Talking, Number two,
three is Tiers. So those are my top three and
then honorable mention to Goodbye m.

Speaker 3 (44:11):
House Tour. I'm Gonna take you on a house Come
through the back Door.

Speaker 8 (44:18):
Tony's gonna love that song because they talk about taking
your shoes off the beginning.

Speaker 5 (44:21):
It's a plenty of contention.

Speaker 3 (44:22):
Yes, yes, yeah, but they don't do that.

Speaker 2 (44:26):
I do that.

Speaker 3 (44:28):
We try to, like I'm not even joking.

Speaker 2 (44:30):
I think Robbie and I have a conversation at least
once a month about becoming a no shoes household, and
then I just get frustrated about how to implement it.

Speaker 3 (44:39):
I believe that the conversation is being had regularly, regularly. Wait,
I was gonna say, so, oh your favorites, Haley, I
don't know. I'll let you know. I'll listen to those
and I'll get back to you. Okay, and probably won't,
but I'll text you. Haley hosted or she moderated GG
Perez at the Grammy Museum on I think Wednesday, and okay,

(45:04):
so gig press for those who have not formally been introduced,
she's incredible. But she sings Sailor Song, which was like
a super viral moment on TikTok and Instagram, and Haley
moderated the conversation, and you know, Hailey's typically the one
that's being moderated for these things, and so she was

(45:25):
really nervous. She was so amazing. I was like you,
she was so funny and like did you go yeah?
I went yeah. It was amazing. And Gigi is just
like so incredibly talented. I feel like she's gonna be
one of those people that wins Grammy's that's just like
like a Grammy's darling. Yes, amazing, her family, they're all

(45:45):
on they go on tour together, her sister's it's just
so lovely. But yeah, I was like, Haley's so good
at everything. She was like so nervous, but like she
just went and like we I was like laughing out
loud in the audience and she and everyone came up
and they're like we always watch these and like you
were amazing. Wait.

Speaker 2 (46:05):
I don't know why my head went here, went there,
but I went to the Jonas Brothers. But we we
were looking at a house this weekend and they were
playing the Jonas Brothers the new album like just in
the house while we were like touring it. And I
was like, baby, this is a sign.

Speaker 3 (46:22):
Where he was like this is not a sign that
we should have this is our house that they're playing
the Jonah's Brother's album. Were you looking near me? I
was near you? Interesting? Okay, say on you about that?

Speaker 2 (46:37):
Yeah? Anyways, it was de nine. We're not getting a
house because they're playing Jonah's Brothers album.

Speaker 3 (46:44):
Well Bones, Yeah, like yeah, what.

Speaker 2 (46:48):
If they're playing the Bones or Invisible String, Like these
are signs?

Speaker 3 (46:51):
What if they played all those back to back sign. Yeah,
that's a sign. Yeah, so no no winners for this
round of not no winners for this round, right, I'll
keep an eye out. I've only just begun.

Speaker 1 (47:02):
Is that the plan though, now?

Speaker 3 (47:04):
I mean we're looking okay, yeah.

Speaker 1 (47:07):
Because I know you're debating fixing up the current finding yea,
the debate continues.

Speaker 3 (47:12):
Debate continues.

Speaker 2 (47:13):
Yeah, there's talking about moving in with my in laws,
you know, permanently.

Speaker 3 (47:20):
Yeah, so we'll see. Well, ask someone as you can
attest to have been in the construction phase outside of
the house and and not being crazy, I wish you well,
it feels dark. Just just know it might take a
couple of months longer than you originally.

Speaker 2 (47:42):
That's why a buffer. Yeah, I planned in for a
buffer a year long.

Speaker 3 (47:47):
Yeah, your long buffer. Yeah, that's about accurate. Yeah. Well,
I hate to say it, but we gotta go. We
got a g oh, but we will be back on
Thursday with the good old dear, So stay tuned for
that and have a wonderful Tuesday. To be continued. We

(48:08):
love you so much. N
