Speaker 1 (00:00):
Scrubbing In with Beca Tilly and Tanya rad and iHeartRadio
and two times People's Choice Award winning podcast.
Speaker 2 (00:11):
Hello everybody, we are scrubbing in that we are Kanya's
on the Gold Mic today. That's right? Does it feel? Oh?
What's up?
Speaker 1 (00:24):
Just spitting game?
Speaker 2 (00:25):
Oh? Hate that? Hate that for you, hate that for
us collectively. How you're doing? You know, how.
Speaker 1 (00:34):
You're doing good? Just getting by? How are you doing?
Speaker 2 (00:40):
Why are you just getting by?
Speaker 1 (00:41):
You know?
Speaker 3 (00:42):
The ripe old age of thirty eight is when things
start to happen hit you quick.
Speaker 1 (00:47):
Life comes at you quick.
Speaker 2 (00:48):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (00:49):
And uh, you know I used to.
Speaker 3 (00:50):
Have like things, hurts and pains and stuff, and I
would just muscle through them. And that's what I was
doing the last like two weeks, working out, living life,
putting on my way best, running up a hill.
Speaker 1 (01:02):
Yeah I probably did some serious damage. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (01:06):
So now I'm paying the price and my back is
so bad.
Speaker 1 (01:13):
But we're out here.
Speaker 2 (01:14):
What is it?
Speaker 1 (01:15):
It's a backspasm?
Speaker 2 (01:18):
I am so First of all, she told me she
had a back spasm, but she's had it for about
a week and she thought it was just a sore muscle,
like from working out, and so she's been doing her
regular scheduled programming. Oh my god, that's the worst thing
you can do. I know.
Speaker 3 (01:37):
Out yeah, but you know that they're gun hurt. So
I was like, no paint, no gain, no paint, no game.
Turns out that's not true.
Speaker 2 (01:47):
Pain. You do gain pain. Yeah yeah, yeah, okay, So
what's what's what's the remedy.
Speaker 3 (01:55):
I'm doing acupuncture, I'm seeing a chiropractor today, and I'm
now taking it here. I'm not working out for a week.
I'm not even walking like I am staying still.
Speaker 2 (02:06):
But did you tell your doctor that you wore a
weighted vest while seated here at the office? Did you
let him know about that?
Speaker 1 (02:13):
I'm seeing him later today. I will let him know.
Speaker 3 (02:15):
Don't worry, I will. I will totally wrap myself. I
just want to make sure we're covering. Yeah yeah, yeah,
but yes, I am taking it seriously now, and I'm really.
Speaker 2 (02:25):
Sorry you're going through that. Back pain is like I
so weirdly enough, I last week I decided to build this.
We got our outdoor couch, and I was just like,
I can do this myself, and I looked into hiring
a task grabbit, but he wasn't going to get there
for till later, and we had somewhere to go, and
(02:46):
I thought, I'm going to do it myself, so I
start building it. It's so hard. I'm like, I have
no idea what I'm doing. Haley's social media person, Nicole,
was there and was willing to help me and said
that they would have fun doing it. So I said,
you were like, nah, I got no, no, no, that was
like dying. So we build it and I realized two
(03:09):
of the like they sent me two of the same sides,
so one of the sides I couldn't even put together.
And then we set it up in the spot that
it was going and I was like, I don't like it.
After all that, I could barely stand up. My back
was so stiff.
Speaker 1 (03:24):
But what did it do? Did it last you?
Speaker 2 (03:26):
Just the day my back paint?
Speaker 1 (03:28):
Uh huh?
Speaker 2 (03:28):
Well, I just did like a bunch of stretches and
I took some advil and I just you were just fine.
I was fine, got ready for the party and went off.
But I was so tired and dehydrated because I was like,
I'm not getting I'm not eating or drinking till I
finished this project. And then we didn't even like it.
I was so bummed. But the back pain, I literally
(03:50):
felt like an old man. I could barely stand up
at a straight, straight angle.
Speaker 1 (03:53):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (03:54):
The sleeping is like because then I laid down. It's
it's like the worst and I literally woke up. I
don't even know time was I start ba in bed.
Robbie's like, can I move the pillows in a different way?
Do you want to be on your side like I tried, backside, stomach,
other side like I was. I tried every position?
Speaker 2 (04:08):
Do you have an actual lumbar pillow or is it
I should have brought you mine what I ordered one
because my bad paint sometimes give me that link.
Speaker 1 (04:20):
And then Hayley, we'll.
Speaker 2 (04:21):
Use it, and I'm like, god, we are literally an
elderly couple. This is so bad, but it really helps,
and it's so different than having just a pillow.
Speaker 1 (04:29):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (04:31):
So you know, I'm just like at the stage of
my life where I'm gonna start really examining my habits
and re examining them and just.
Speaker 1 (04:42):
Taking a little bit better care of myself. How was
your weekend?
Speaker 2 (04:44):
My weekend was great. We had a pretty chill weekend.
On Friday, we went to a Dwali party, which was
so fun.
Speaker 1 (04:50):
I saw photos.
Speaker 2 (04:51):
It's so fun.
Speaker 1 (04:53):
What is Dwali?
Speaker 2 (04:54):
So Duwali is the celebrating it's a religious celebration.
Speaker 1 (04:57):
It's always in my calendar.
Speaker 2 (04:59):
Yeah yeah, yeah, it's a holiday. But it's celebrating light
over darkness. So Lily Lily Singing throws it and it's
called love and Light. It's but it is so fun
because we get to to everyone dresses up and it
is she goes all out. It is it's huge.
Speaker 1 (05:16):
How many people I'm.
Speaker 2 (05:18):
Bad at that? I'm bad at that? Like you're about it, okay,
but if you had to guess two hundred, holy yeah,
it looked like a massive space. Yeah yeah yeah, but she.
Speaker 1 (05:30):
How do you even get two hundred people to something?
Speaker 2 (05:33):
Yeah, I don't know. It's a it's a feat. Yeah,
and it's impressive, it is. But it was really fun
and I literally, aside from building the couch that day,
all I had that night I had. I had a
tequila shot, like a baby shot, so it wasn't even
like a full shot. And then I didn't even finish
my cocktail and.
Speaker 1 (05:53):
I literally felt so drunk so.
Speaker 2 (05:56):
Bad the next day, like tire, like almost hung over,
but I'm like, she did be grouping up?
Speaker 1 (06:02):
Yea, yeah, what birthday is this?
Speaker 2 (06:06):
I'm going to be thirty seven.
Speaker 1 (06:08):
Yeah, enjoying the last three sixty by.
Speaker 2 (06:14):
We had the most chill Saturday ever, Like we barely
did anything. We went on a walk kind of in
the evening and then had dinner and just chilled. And
then yesterday I finally got the like we put in
this massive it's a it's called a swim spa, so
it's it's like huge d'acuzi, but you can also use it.
(06:37):
It has like a these really strong jets, so you
can swim laps in it, so it's like pushing against you.
I haven't done that part yet, but it probably won't.
Speaker 1 (06:46):
I don't moved on for.
Speaker 2 (06:47):
The Dwali party like it was okay, I was talking
about you didn't ask any other questions.
Speaker 1 (06:52):
Well, hello, where I saw major celeb sightings?
Speaker 2 (06:56):
Oh yeah, are you talking about Chapel?
Speaker 1 (06:58):
Yes?
Speaker 2 (06:59):
Yeah, Well Haley?
Speaker 1 (07:00):
Is she cool? Was she cool? Was she nice? Was
she fun? Was she dancing?
Speaker 2 (07:05):
Did you come to the party where Haley was dressed
like the Grinch?
Speaker 1 (07:09):
Yeah? And you were Cindy Lou or yeah, Martha.
Speaker 2 (07:11):
May Martha may Chapel was there that night.
Speaker 1 (07:15):
I couldn't tell you.
Speaker 2 (07:16):
But yeah, so they're they're like friends. So she but
we were shocked to see her. I'm like, you're just
out and.
Speaker 1 (07:23):
About Yeah, is she like on tour right now? Yeah?
Speaker 2 (07:26):
I don't, yeah, but she's really sweet and normal. I
just was like, congrats on everything else? Do you say, yeah,
congratulations on life?
Speaker 1 (07:35):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (07:35):
Yeah, things are going well well Yeah, swimming so yeah,
light love and light. I'm trying to think. I mean,
we saw a lot of people, Jay Shatty and Roddy. Yeah.
Jay's so nice because, like I see, he interviews the
(07:56):
top of the like he's friends and connected with the
top of the top in terms of celebrity world. And
every time I see him, he seeks me out to
say hello, Me and Haley. It's so coazing. And I
know that that that feels like the bare minimum, but
when you're in this space and you're in these parties
in this industry, it's very rare. Totally.
Speaker 1 (08:18):
So he they invited us over for like a game
night one night.
Speaker 3 (08:22):
Rob and I went and we didn't know anybody else
aside from Jay and Roddy obviously, and it was so fun.
They like made everybody feel so comfortable and welcome, and
we all just like got along so well and it
was really really fun.
Speaker 1 (08:37):
They have like a really good vibe.
Speaker 2 (08:39):
Yeah, and you it's interesting they're welcoming, but also the
people that they surround themselves with are the same vibe.
Speaker 1 (08:45):
Yeah. Like we all were just like, okay, we're all
friends now. Yeah, like playing all these games. It was
so cute.
Speaker 2 (08:51):
Guess who else was there?
Speaker 1 (08:53):
Oh? I love this?
Speaker 3 (08:55):
Okay, TV world yes, movie world, No, singer world so
so TV.
Speaker 1 (09:05):
Actor, actor, actress?
Speaker 2 (09:07):
Not an actor, oh, producer no, Jeff Probes, No, he
could have been there.
Speaker 3 (09:14):
I didn't see him, am I Okay? Maybe one more
hint so TV but not actor.
Speaker 2 (09:20):
Recently on the pod.
Speaker 1 (09:23):
On our pod, Oh yeah, Reality.
Speaker 2 (09:28):
TV to see her and I went up and said hey,
And then I was like, she's She definitely acted like
she did, so I'm not sure if she really did,
but she definitely did a great job pretending if she didn't.
I always clock myself, what do you mean.
Speaker 3 (09:45):
Like if I go up to somebody that I'm seeing,
because it's like you're out of your element, you know.
I'm sure if she saw you in a podcasting conference.
She'd be like, oh, yeah, that's the girl.
Speaker 1 (09:54):
I podcast last week.
Speaker 3 (09:55):
No, but like when you see people in context, it's
like different. I feel like then when you them at
like a party random that you don't even know, you
know exactly. So I was clock people and I'm like, hey, hey.
Speaker 1 (10:07):
Bosma, you just said my podcast grubbing it. Remember you
wearing the red Yeah.
Speaker 2 (10:11):
But she did such a good job at acting like
she knew who I was. I didn't even get to
that point. Oh okay, I was like, oh my, my,
my fiance. Haley pointed you out and she loves you,
and so she was like, where is she? And so
Haley came over and saiday, because Haley's a huge fan.
Speaker 1 (10:27):
Did she watch the Real Housewives?
Speaker 2 (10:29):
No? Just from her business entrepreneurship.
Speaker 1 (10:32):
Yeah. Wowow, so it.
Speaker 2 (10:35):
Was really fun. That was really fun. Again, she recognized me.
Speaker 1 (10:38):
I love this.
Speaker 2 (10:39):
I was there. Oh yeah, I said. I was like,
my friend Tanya spent some time with you at the wedding,
and she was like, we love Tanya. So yeah, it
was it was a party.
Speaker 1 (10:51):
Wow, sounds like a party.
Speaker 2 (10:53):
It was really fun though.
Speaker 3 (10:54):
Mer Saturday night and my Saturday night could not have
been more different. I couldn't even get it.
Speaker 2 (10:58):
That was a Friday night. Saturday night, we probably had
a very similar.
Speaker 3 (11:01):
Uh yeah, sat on my donut eating a donut, No,
eating a cinnamon roll.
Speaker 1 (11:09):
It was like the gluten free, dairy free one.
Speaker 2 (11:11):
I didn't do that.
Speaker 1 (11:12):
It was so not worth it.
Speaker 2 (11:13):
Yeah, yeah, I made so you know how Paulina made
those sweet potato brownies that y'all really raped about. Haley
was craving them. So I got the recipe from Paulina
and I made them and I was like, I don't
know what these are supposed to taste like, but bad.
I brought them over to Haley and she was like,
(11:35):
this texture is very weird.
Speaker 1 (11:36):
I love the texture.
Speaker 2 (11:38):
It's very spongy. Yeah okay, so that was right, Yeah okay,
But then her first bite she made a face and
I was like, you don't have to eat them. My problem,
Like she didn't like it, but then she went back
for more.
Speaker 3 (11:50):
So she used to be such a treat because to me,
brownies are so rich that I don't enjoy them. This
brownie is not as rich. It's like a little hint
of chocolate. I love a sweet potato.
Speaker 1 (12:01):
Let me tell you.
Speaker 3 (12:02):
Something, if there are Easties come back on twenty twenty six.
The sweet potato needs its own category because I love
them in as like a mix of things. I love
them raw, like like a potato. I love them like fried,
I love them cubed. I love sweet potato as a
replacement for things inside baked goods. I love a sweet potato.
Speaker 2 (12:24):
How dare you say if the Easty Awards come back?
Speaker 1 (12:27):
So sorry, I didn't want to put pressure on you after.
Speaker 2 (12:30):
Last year's performance. Do you think he's gonna stop while
he's on the up and up?
Speaker 1 (12:34):
No?
Speaker 3 (12:35):
No, no, So when they come back, I would please really
enjoy a special sweet potato category.
Speaker 2 (12:39):
Maybe you can come present it.
Speaker 3 (12:41):
Yes, I can present it. If do I get to
If I get to pick it too, well, no, okay,
we'll talk.
Speaker 2 (12:47):
We'll no. No, if you don't get.
Speaker 3 (12:48):
The way, I like them every way, so there's no
winner or loser for me, to be honest.
Speaker 1 (12:55):
I I came up. I did something very I feel
very like Taylor swiftish if you will this weekend, but
I'll tell you after we come back from the break.
Speaker 2 (13:31):
All right, we're back. So you felt very Taylor swiftish, Yes, weekend.
Speaker 4 (13:37):
So.
Speaker 3 (13:40):
As I'm in my like soft girl era. Robbie could
not be more opposite than me. Like he's literally in
his like grind era, like whatever he's doing, So we're
on like total opposite what's grinding like work or what
no like with his like workouts, like he's like waited
best and do this and Macro's and like you know,
in that world. And I'm like, could not be farther
(14:02):
from that right now, Like I'm like, walk pilates, do
what my body feels, eat warm foods, nourishing, you know,
Like I'm just in that phase, right But we do
enjoy walking together, Like that's something that I love to
do quality time. So we went on a walk and
we were deciding whether we wanted to go uphill or downhill,
and we he wanted to go uphill.
Speaker 1 (14:23):
I wanted to go downhill. We ended up going uphill.
Speaker 2 (14:26):
I created a song, Wait, don't you have to go
uphill if you go downhill?
Speaker 3 (14:31):
So yes, technically you have to go up and down
both ways. But if you go the uphill is much
harder than if you go downhill first and then back up.
The up is much steeper, So you're going up waist
steeper than you would be going up if you went
down first?
Speaker 1 (14:46):
Does that make sense?
Speaker 2 (14:47):
Sure?
Speaker 3 (14:48):
So I created a song and it's been honestly stuck
in my head all weekend.
Speaker 2 (14:53):
You got some good hooks, you have some hooky music, right, Yeah?
How does it go?
Speaker 1 (14:58):
Sack?
Speaker 4 (14:59):
We're fun for love?
Speaker 1 (15:02):
But should in the.
Speaker 4 (15:05):
Sacrifice to sacrifices for love.
Speaker 1 (15:12):
It's a thankless job because.
Speaker 4 (15:14):
You get up and do what you want sacrifice for love.
Speaker 2 (15:21):
Sacrifice that makes sense. That's wonderful.
Speaker 1 (15:28):
Another thank you. I was waiting for the applause.
Speaker 2 (15:31):
Another bop bop that we should use to get you
in front of Taylor for some songwriting sessions.
Speaker 1 (15:38):
It's honestly was stuck in my head all weekend.
Speaker 3 (15:40):
I kept singing it anytime he would we would do
something that like he wanted to do, is like watch
football or.
Speaker 2 (15:45):
Like or like you should make it.
Speaker 1 (15:49):
A sound Sacrifices for love.
Speaker 2 (15:54):
There's a really intense eye contact happening right now.
Speaker 1 (15:58):
You get up and do what you want? Who Sack
refies be love?
Speaker 2 (16:04):
Great? Yeah, thank you for sharing that.
Speaker 1 (16:08):
You're welcome.
Speaker 2 (16:08):
Did you start the artist way?
Speaker 1 (16:10):
Oh? Yes? Did you good? No? Becca?
Speaker 3 (16:13):
Well we ever talked about it. Well, we were supposed
to start last Monday.
Speaker 2 (16:16):
I know, but then we never talked about it, so I.
Speaker 1 (16:19):
Didn't actually technically start start.
Speaker 3 (16:21):
I read the like intro that oh okay, So basically
it tells you seven to ten hours a week, which
I thought, Hell, I probably won't finish in the twelve weeks,
which I'm okay with. I might take a little bit longer,
but I will get to the end.
Speaker 2 (16:36):
One thing about the artist way is it's your own journey.
Speaker 3 (16:38):
Yes, so when I saw seven to ten hours, I
thought this might take me a year to finish. But
by the end of the year, I'm going to be
a changed woman. But yeah, so the journaling, three pages
of journaling every single morning, that's kind of where it
throws me, because when your girl gets up very early,
the thought of journaling three pages feels a little doing.
Speaker 2 (17:01):
Well, my big you have to do it. My biggest
mistake was buying a I got really excited when I
got the book and I went and got like, this
really cute journal, but the pages are huge, So three pages,
like I had carpal tunnel basically trying to write.
Speaker 1 (17:16):
No, I just forgot like one of those little spiral notebooks.
Speaker 2 (17:18):
Right, I should wait, what, like what size?
Speaker 1 (17:21):
I don't know, Like the kids use school okay, seventy wide.
Speaker 2 (17:25):
Okay, I don't know. I'm not in that world, so
I can't tell you. So what did you think about
my prank?
Speaker 1 (17:34):
Robbie thought it was hilarious?
Speaker 2 (17:36):
Let me tell you, because sometimes I don't know if
he's gonna like go along with me or like ruin
it for me.
Speaker 1 (17:41):
I feel like he'd go along with.
Speaker 2 (17:42):
It sometimes I don't know, though.
Speaker 1 (17:44):
Yeah, but I have my girl, and Nicole had my back.
Speaker 2 (17:47):
I wasn't gonna shout her out her name because it's fine.
The people were upset.
Speaker 1 (17:51):
Who was upset?
Speaker 2 (17:52):
My Tilly Tots?
Speaker 1 (17:55):
The Tilly Tots were probably so upset I was. I
was more upset that she was the only one out
of all. I was like.
Speaker 3 (18:04):
I started seeing the comments on the actual video and
I was like, this is weird. But I didn't think
any suspicious behavior. Yeah, and I was like, this is weird.
People are just like rattling me. But then I started
getting dms, like hundreds of dms. That's when I was
like something's happening, Like this is so weird.
Speaker 2 (18:21):
I was so proud of everyone in The comments were
so funny, like they got so creative and how they were.
Speaker 3 (18:29):
Yeah, like I love the Christmas colors. I was like,
it's not Christmas. It's green and orange.
Speaker 2 (18:34):
But then even when like I had several people reach
out and after I said, you know, someone already someone
ruined it. Huh, and they were like, I'm either way,
it's still red.
Speaker 1 (18:48):
It's not. It's just not.
Speaker 2 (18:51):
And then Pauline wrote me and goes, it's orange. I
was like, okay, but at the very least you have
to admit it's like blood orange and red orange.
Speaker 3 (19:01):
No, the colors of Tenderfest are orange well, and when
fixed their.
Speaker 2 (19:07):
Merch being a little red, someone didn't get the sample.
Speaker 1 (19:11):
Okay, it was very creative.
Speaker 3 (19:12):
I was just a little bit bewildered and dumbfounded that
it took that long for somebody to tell me what
was actually going on. I was like, where are my
Tanya tats at? It was they were playing along with
the gang.
Speaker 2 (19:23):
Because I appreciate it. It's an innocent enough prank people,
it's fun.
Speaker 1 (19:28):
It was not innocent. It was spiking cortisol.
Speaker 2 (19:31):
It was. But your responses and all caps saying it's
orange to so many people was I literally was giggling
the whole time looking through the comments, it was it
was joyful for me. I'm so glad I brought you joy. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (19:45):
But yeah, Robbie thought it was so. It's so funny.
Ship back. I was so funny.
Speaker 3 (19:49):
I'm like, oh, yeah, oh I did something really big
this week.
Speaker 2 (19:55):
You do?
Speaker 1 (19:56):
Oh my gosh, do we need to take another break?
Speaker 2 (19:57):
No, we don't. So do we talk about some something
else and then you can tease it. Okay, you did
something really big this week. We'll get back to that.
Speaker 3 (20:04):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, Sally, your birthday or your Halloween?
Speaker 1 (20:07):
Yeah? What are you gonna do? What are your plans
for birthday? What you for Halloween?
Speaker 2 (20:12):
Nay? Maybe we are doing a spa day okay, and
then like dinner with you know uh.
Speaker 1 (20:21):
As you get older? Yeah, and you like are now
engaged to be married?
Speaker 2 (20:27):
Right.
Speaker 3 (20:28):
I never want to like overstep, so I'm always like
hounding you, like what do you want to do?
Speaker 1 (20:32):
What do you want to do?
Speaker 3 (20:33):
But then I'm like, I don't want to overstep, and
like obviously, if Haley's planning something, I just want to
like let her do it. But I want to offer
my help and services, but I don't want to be
pushy with her because like it's not like you do
you know what I mean. So I'm finding myself in
like a little bit of a conundrum.
Speaker 2 (20:51):
I think, just relax, show up. I think one thing
Hailey knows about you that she's like really like, I
think she's appreciated you as a best friend to me
for so long, but I think during the engagement process
and party and all that she really was like, Wow,
Tanya is really amazing. So I think if she needs.
Speaker 1 (21:11):
Help, she'll reach she'll reach out.
Speaker 2 (21:13):
Okay, I told her if you I don't really have
a big plan where she should need a lot of help,
but if she should find herself in that position, okay,
she knows to reach out to you. Okay, so thank
you so much.
Speaker 1 (21:26):
But I drove me a couple like seeds for her,
so she ticularly.
Speaker 2 (21:32):
Well, it's so funny because she goes. I really appreciate
that you do a trip every year because that makes
it so much easier because it's just like the trip
is the birthday and like there's not a whole lot
of like needing to court. I'm sorry I keep hitting
the mic.
Speaker 1 (21:48):
Really, that was the first time I heard it.
Speaker 2 (21:49):
Oh, it's like it's just done. The birthday celebration is
pretty much done, aside from like scheduling a reservation to
go to dinner or the airbnb, you know. But she
was like, it's I get why you like doing that
because I'm like, what should we do? Where should we go?
And I'm like, oh, wherever. I'm fine. I don't really.
Speaker 1 (22:09):
Whatever birthday trip seems. Are you guys going away?
Speaker 2 (22:12):
No, so that we're doing the Halloween party. So although
I think we might end up doing like another trip
in November because I think I'm gonna miss getting away
for my birthday, but we went to I did Vegas
and I did Nashville, so I was nervous. I was
going to be too, just traveled out and just wanted
to be home. But my sister Henk is flying and
(22:34):
her girlfriend Morgan are flying in, so they're gonna be
there for the weekend. It'll be fun.
Speaker 1 (22:38):
I got the head count, Oh did you okay?
Speaker 2 (22:41):
I figured you had all that. Yeah, so I'm turning
thirty seven. Wow, not really much. It's not like a
what do you call it? A milestone? Here? By any means,
every year is a milestone year being alive as a milestone. Yes,
and I'm very grateful for another year. And I'm very
happy going into thirty seven. And I'm very excited about
(23:02):
what thirty seven holds for little me.
Speaker 3 (23:06):
It doesn't hold a wedding, No, No, thirty eight is
the year for that.
Speaker 2 (23:11):
I think it'll be a thirty eight year Okay, yeah,
maybe thirty nine depending on what time. Maybe are we
doing which Its like that would be crazy.
Speaker 1 (23:21):
If we Oh, I've known people that were engaged for
five years.
Speaker 2 (23:24):
No, no, no, I'm yeah, I'm I personally am very content,
like I'm not if I want us to both be
in a place where we can like actually plan it,
get what we want. Make sure everyone's available, because everyone
I need to make sure everyone has even if they
have children, that their children are of the age that
they can at least bring a babysitter and have a
mind out. Yeah yeah, and not be like glued to
(23:48):
the pump yes, or breastfeeding. Yes that that and even
if they are, we'll we'll figure it out. You can't,
you can't. Life is happening all around.
Speaker 1 (24:00):
It is his life. It just happens his life. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (24:04):
So, but we'll be there for you no matter what. No, no,
I know, baby on boob or sons, you.
Speaker 2 (24:11):
Know, yeah, baby on tea or not.
Speaker 1 (24:14):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (24:15):
Yeah, Okay, you had a big thing that you did
this weekend.
Speaker 1 (24:18):
Yeah, but I'm going to tell you after the break.
Speaker 2 (24:20):
While she is a tease today, I.
Speaker 1 (24:23):
Know I did something huge this weekend. We're back.
Speaker 3 (24:50):
Yes, it's the gold, Mike, it's me. It's making me
feel in charge. I watched Grace outom me.
Speaker 2 (25:00):
Wow, thank you.
Speaker 3 (25:04):
We're girl to do to get some class.
Speaker 2 (25:09):
Wow. I hope all of you, I have, all of
you are absolutely riveted by that.
Speaker 1 (25:16):
Well it's a big deal.
Speaker 2 (25:17):
But I think the person who would care the most
is not here today.
Speaker 3 (25:20):
Well, how serendipitous. Serendipitous? Yeah, I hope he gives us
a download.
Speaker 2 (25:27):
Okay, so what'd you think?
Speaker 3 (25:29):
So I've realized something in my life, Okay, I in
my socrol era. I'm realizing I need to just watch
totally mindless television because any sort of like life threatening,
like these diseases, these explosions, the blood, it all makes
me anxious and I just can't have that in my
(25:51):
life right now.
Speaker 4 (25:52):
Hm.
Speaker 3 (25:52):
The episode made me so anxious. It was very good, Yeah,
but I was I was like on edge. I felt
my heart beating and I.
Speaker 1 (26:00):
Don't like it. Yeah, so I don't know if I'll
be partaking in episode two.
Speaker 2 (26:04):
Okay, did you watch episode though? Yeah, I watched the.
Speaker 1 (26:09):
Premiere and not but not the second one.
Speaker 2 (26:11):
I haven't watched the second one. Okay, Oh I did
watch the second one.
Speaker 1 (26:14):
Oh is it good?
Speaker 2 (26:16):
M Yeah, I felt like the the was more impactful.
Speaker 1 (26:23):
Yeah. I also link spoiler alert not dead.
Speaker 2 (26:27):
No him to die. No, they're not gonna kill him.
Speaker 1 (26:31):
Well, Mark made it seemed like he was like not
gonna make it.
Speaker 2 (26:34):
I know they definitely try to make it feel that way.
Speaker 3 (26:37):
But I so I was expecting. I was like bracing
myself for like his death, and then I was.
Speaker 2 (26:42):
Like, oh another te No, he's very much alive. Yes,
Maggie came back in this episode because Amelia is not
doing well.
Speaker 1 (26:53):
It was the second episode. Yeah, so they were.
Speaker 2 (26:56):
Like in the house the whole time with Meredith Maggie
and the whole episode their scenes were all in the house.
Speaker 1 (27:02):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (27:02):
And then it was like Link working too hard, trying
to get better, and Joe being mad that he's not
slowing down.
Speaker 3 (27:08):
You know, yeah, just not as it feels like a
filler episode. Yeah, yeah, that's fine, that's fair.
Speaker 2 (27:13):
Yeah, when you come back with a premiere cliffs So
Bang and like that one. Yeah, and that was the
four hundred and fiftieth episode, the one that aired second,
the second episode, no way, So I think they like
to keep those episodes more hopeful and like, yeah, nothing
too heavy.
Speaker 3 (27:34):
On the other hand, do you know what show has
me hooked that I cannot stop thinking about? I cannot
wait for the finale on Wednesday?
Speaker 2 (27:42):
Oh loves Fun. Yes, everyone's asking me if I if
I'm watching it.
Speaker 1 (27:47):
It is so good this season.
Speaker 3 (27:50):
Like I they released two episodes last Wednesday, we binged
them done, and I'm like, I cannot believe I have
to wait a whole nother week to get the finale.
Well that's two more days, yeah, forty eight long hours.
Oh yeah, that's how hooked I am.
Speaker 2 (28:05):
Wow. Yeah, Is are there people that you're rooting for?
Is it more dramatic?
Speaker 3 (28:09):
There's one couple that I'm really rooting for. If they
don't get married, then like love is a lie, Love
is a lie. But the other couples are just so
so much of a disaster that it's like so interesting,
kind of felt like just kind of keeping.
Speaker 2 (28:23):
Up with the chaos.
Speaker 3 (28:25):
Yeah, but then there's one that, like, I really truly
just genuinely feel like they're I don't know, like she
did things differently. She picked someone that she normally wouldn't pick,
which is I feel like, is what the process is
all about. And so I feel like that is like,
that's her heart leading her, and so I'm like, I
hope it works out for her, you know, and she
seems so genuine like she's in it for the right reasons.
Speaker 2 (28:45):
Yeah, the right reasons. Yeah, they're tough to find these days.
Speaker 3 (28:48):
Yeah, I find her to be one of those people.
So I don't want to give spoilers. But Sparkle Megan.
Speaker 2 (28:55):
Oh yeah, she's really sweet.
Speaker 3 (28:58):
I watched the first few episodes and you weren't hooked,
I know, but I was telling Haley maybe we should watch.
Speaker 2 (29:07):
She does a better job at watching and I just
like scroll my phone if I'm not interested, but I'm
paying attention enough to like keep up. But I did
Sparkle Megan did stand out to me. Yes, yeah, she
ended up.
Speaker 1 (29:19):
With And then we're also watching Special Forces. Oh yeah,
all caught up on that.
Speaker 2 (29:24):
Yeah yeah, yeah, great season.
Speaker 3 (29:26):
You know, I think that it's not fair for them
to have married couples and daughter either. Because if I
was doing those trenches and Robbie was there to console
me every night, I think I'd last a lot longer
than you.
Speaker 1 (29:41):
Yeah, then I if you were not there, I had.
Speaker 2 (29:44):
The same thought, and I thought they were going to
be separated into two groups. So I thought they were like, oh,
you get to be together, and then they were going
to separate them, and I thought that that could make
it even more challenging to know that there are they
still there. Did they go home?
Speaker 1 (29:57):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (29:57):
I was shocked that they didn't do it that way
and they just left them be together.
Speaker 1 (30:01):
Yeah, like you know what a kiss from my husband
can make me into wonder woman.
Speaker 2 (30:05):
I don't know that Haley and I would make it
much further together than we would have part in terms
of incursion.
Speaker 1 (30:11):
So with your partner like encouraging you every step of
the way.
Speaker 2 (30:14):
Yeah, yeah, mentally emotional.
Speaker 1 (30:18):
I don't know physically, but it's all mental.
Speaker 2 (30:20):
It is a very mental, but it's also very physical. Yeah,
it's pretty physical.
Speaker 1 (30:26):
I could not be doing that right now with my back.
Speaker 2 (30:28):
I think for the next conversation that we're having on
this podcast, we try not to say any filler words
like what like like or or uh?
Speaker 1 (30:37):
Why do we say that a lot?
Speaker 2 (30:38):
A lot?
Speaker 1 (30:39):
How do you know?
Speaker 2 (30:40):
I just know that I do. Why don't are you
focused on it right now? No? Not at all at all. Okay, Well,
I wanted to definitely say I don't say either, but
I do say the L word a lot.
Speaker 1 (30:54):
I say the L word a lot too.
Speaker 2 (30:56):
Yeah. So I'm trying to break the habit, and I
was wondering if we would be able to do it.
Speaker 1 (31:00):
I could do, no problem, Okay.
Speaker 2 (31:02):
Easy peasy. Should we do from Jen a past, Bonnie
update and fun questions?
Speaker 1 (31:08):
Sure, we're running a little bit out of time, but
whatever you want to do.
Speaker 2 (31:11):
Let's do it. Wait? Did you watch the Brina Carpenter
on SNL?
Speaker 1 (31:14):
Yes?
Speaker 2 (31:15):
How about?
Speaker 3 (31:15):
I mean I didn't watch the episode, but I watched
all the I think I watched all the highlights and
the clips, so I feel like I did.
Speaker 2 (31:22):
How did it go?
Speaker 1 (31:23):
Great?
Speaker 2 (31:24):
Well? Because I felt like people thought she was going
to bring out Taylor?
Speaker 3 (31:27):
Oh really, I didn't have that thought. Kelly a woman
not stand alone.
Speaker 2 (31:31):
I mean, for Herd's sake, she definitely can. But I
think with their song coming out. They thought maybe she
would bring her out.
Speaker 1 (31:38):
Yeah, well let the girl stand on her own two
feet and she is.
Speaker 2 (31:44):
Yes. One thing about her she is Hello, is scrubbing in.
I've written in before, and I know you like updates.
This was about my boyfriend not pinning our new home
together on the gram. I remember this. Yeah, as you
guys advise, not a big deal. But also it was
important to me. If it was important to me, there
should be compromise. So I did a little talk and
he didn't realize how much it bothered me. So the
next day he didn't pin our house, but rather a
(32:06):
cute pick of me, him and his dog. It meant
a lot. So thank you for giving me the nudge
to have a chat and express my feelings. Also, I've
been loving the little way the podcast ends lately, so
I thought I would continue the trend. Sundays to me
are a reset date. If you could have the same
type of Sunday every week, what would you do from
the moment you wake up to the bedtime? Do you
(32:29):
want to start a Sunday? It would be sleeping late,
waking up and making a breakfast that included something salty
and sweet. So like So as though, something bodies transit.
Speaker 1 (32:45):
We're doing it next week.
Speaker 2 (32:46):
Something bake away, okay, cinnamon roll donut? Wait, do y'all
consider donut a dessert or breakfast food breakfast food too,
and then some bacon or something hash browns. And then
I would do a little TV time, just sitting on
the couch, maybe go on a walk in the sun
and then maybe layout in the sun, like have swim in.
Speaker 1 (33:12):
The pool out of sun time.
Speaker 2 (33:16):
Yeah, And then a nice dinner, maybe some pizza or something,
and then watch a show together and go to bed,
maybe play a game. What about you?
Speaker 3 (33:26):
Mom would be waking up at like seventh waking up
around seven thirty seven thirty five.
Speaker 2 (33:30):
Okay, thank you for the specificity.
Speaker 1 (33:35):
Then we would walk to breakfast.
Speaker 3 (33:38):
Robbie and I go to our little spot that we
like to walk to, have like a poached egg with
some gluten free toasts and avocado. Walk back home, go
to the farmer's market, shop for all my food for
the week, fresh from the farmers.
Speaker 2 (33:51):
Do you do?
Speaker 1 (33:52):
I don't, but I'd love to.
Speaker 3 (33:55):
Dream my dream this is something we did no do
all my grocery shopping. Then I would love to do
all my food prep for the week. I'd love to
check all my emails and get on top of the
week ahead, all my schedules and everything, make sure I
have everything ready to go. I would love a cozy
(34:15):
soup dinner, okay, and then some TV time and bed
by eight thirty nine.
Speaker 2 (34:22):
Great day, A great day. You should start incorporating the
farmer's market if it's a dream.
Speaker 3 (34:28):
I know, but it's just that I don't know any
farmers market well enough.
Speaker 1 (34:32):
Like I always feel like I go with.
Speaker 3 (34:33):
I feel somewhat of a chicken with the head my
head cut off, don't know where I'm going, don't know
what I'm getting. You don't know what's the best. It's
really hot and sweaty and sticky. Maybe no, that's cooling down.
Speaker 2 (34:44):
Thank you for the question, Jin that she said, Becca,
who won the SPA price for keeping the house clean.
We actually had a small day like two weeks ago
and we both got a massage because we both kept
the house clean.
Speaker 1 (34:54):
So wow, win win.
Speaker 2 (34:56):
Yeah, it was a win win, and we've managed to
keep it relatively clean since then. We've dropped the ball
a little bit, but for the most part. Yeah, we
do have a very special guest this Thursday, actually not. Arguably,
I would say one of my favorite guests.
Speaker 1 (35:14):
It should be your favorite guest.
Speaker 2 (35:16):
My favorite guests of all time.
Speaker 1 (35:18):
Should we keep it a surprise? Sure, make people guess,
let them guess, let them figure it out.
Speaker 2 (35:25):
Yeah, okay, okay, I think they'll figure it out based
on content on Instagram. But we have a author, a
fellow author, thank you, yeah, an actor, a director, a singer, single,
a dance or, and a fiance or of mine. Heyley Kyoko,
(35:51):
we'll be scrubbing back in. She's going to tell us
about her new book coming out, and she wanted to
come on the podcast to do it. I said, are
you kidding? By all means, tell us what day you want.
Speaker 3 (36:03):
The Our door is always open for her. I should
pitch my song to her.
Speaker 2 (36:09):
You should. Yeah. I'll be back with that on Thursday,
So stay tuned. We love you some MUCHY love you bye,
