Speaker 1 (00:00):
Scrubbing in with Bea Tilly and Tanya rad and iHeartRadio
and two times People's Choice Award winning podcast. Hello everyone,
we're scrubbing it.

Speaker 2 (00:17):
Yay, we're clapping. We're clapping.

Speaker 1 (00:22):
We're celebrating marks birthday today.

Speaker 3 (00:24):
Gosh, thank you so much.

Speaker 1 (00:26):
Happy birthday.

Speaker 2 (00:29):
Yes it was, yes, Yes, it was word day passed.

Speaker 3 (00:33):
That's okay.

Speaker 2 (00:34):
There's no time like the president.

Speaker 3 (00:35):
Amen.

Speaker 2 (00:36):
And when I think about celebrating a birthday.

Speaker 1 (00:38):
It's like multiple days.

Speaker 2 (00:40):
Yeah it should be. Yes, I agree, Yeah, this.

Speaker 3 (00:43):
Is enough yesterday today, that should do it. Yeah, thank
you very much. Becca, and time you brought me pie
and I love pie.

Speaker 1 (00:49):
Yeah, and donuts this morning. Don't forget about that.

Speaker 3 (00:52):
But that was just you, both of you.

Speaker 1 (00:54):
Know the doughnuts were from both of us.

Speaker 3 (00:56):
Is that right? She never said that this morning?

Speaker 2 (00:59):
Yes I did. It's okay, you little, pretty little liar.

Speaker 1 (01:05):
I said, these donuts are from Becca and myself, and
we have another sweet tree coming later. First, Well you
responded and you said another sweet treat coming later.

Speaker 3 (01:18):
Wow, it's a long time ago.

Speaker 2 (01:22):
What did you do for your actual person?

Speaker 3 (01:24):
Okay? So I watched a baseball game, my beloved Milwaukee
Brewers one. They're seventh in a row. And then we
once saw Superman, which I enjoyed.

Speaker 2 (01:32):
What I just noticed that there's a new Superman. But
is it?

Speaker 4 (01:37):
Is it like a is it a documentary or is
this actual Superman movie?

Speaker 3 (01:41):
It's a new Superman. It's a true story.

Speaker 2 (01:44):
Who's playing Superman?

Speaker 3 (01:46):
Corn Sweat? Is your new Superman? No either? How do
we know him? Not Easton? He was in Twisters? Oh,
very good Superman. It's so handsome. Oh my god, look
at this man. I mean, does that guy look like
a super Man?

Speaker 2 (02:00):
Are you a Superman fan?

Speaker 3 (02:01):
I love superhero movies?

Speaker 2 (02:03):
Oh yeah, so Superman.

Speaker 1 (02:04):
It looks like Henry Cadock, the same chiseled face.

Speaker 3 (02:09):
Yeah. Yeah, I've always loved Superman movies, superhero movies in general.
I was telling my kids, I first saw a Superman
movie when I was seven years old. It was amazing,
And so now I'm seeing Superman again. He's half my
age now, but it's still kind of a fun thing
and I liked it. They kind of brought him into
the real world with like social media and everyone has
phones and like, why are you cringing at that time?

Speaker 1 (02:29):
Ya? I love it?

Speaker 2 (02:30):
I know, I know, I don't.

Speaker 4 (02:32):
I have to get on board with it because it's
the way of the world. But there's something about me
that's just like.

Speaker 3 (02:37):
What's just living off of social media?

Speaker 2 (02:39):
I know, But that's why I want to go see
a movie. I want to escape there.

Speaker 3 (02:44):
Yeah, but it also like Superman, he's he's just he's
good versus evil, right, and this movie kind of establishes that,
you know, there's lots of geopolitical conflict in the world
that's not as simple as that, and he has to
kind of learn that lesson, like, oh, I guess I
can't just stop everyone from dying. That's the whole thing.
I don't want anyone to die ever, ever, ever, even squirrel.

(03:04):
He saves a squirrel. He doesn't want anyone or anything
to die. And then people are like, you got to
kind of stay out of some people's business.

Speaker 2 (03:10):
Even the squirrels, even the squirrels.

Speaker 3 (03:12):
But I enjoyed it. I thought it was really good.
And then we went and got a barbecue dinner because
I love a barbecue, and then some ice cream.

Speaker 2 (03:17):
Do you have a restaurant you like, Well, we went
to wood Ranch.

Speaker 3 (03:21):
That's not a regular thing, but I thought I thought
that would be good because it's delicious.

Speaker 2 (03:25):
I love.

Speaker 3 (03:26):
Yeah, it was great, and then ice cream all the
oak small it sounds perfect. It was really a nice berth.
It was one which was wonderful.

Speaker 4 (03:33):
How far I don't know, he said, either one of
us is listening.

Speaker 2 (03:39):
I'm fresh.

Speaker 1 (03:40):
I'm definitely not fresh. I am fried.

Speaker 3 (03:44):
No, they're doing really well. They're right up there with
the best records in baseball, so it's good.

Speaker 2 (03:48):
Was the whole fan there at the game? No, for
your birthday?

Speaker 3 (03:52):
Yes, for the Superman and for the dinner and the
ice cream, and the whole fan was there. Wonderful? Absolutely,
you know who.

Speaker 1 (03:58):
We should also talk about the guy that was in
Jurassic Park because he's a haughty too.

Speaker 2 (04:03):
Oh Nathan Bailey.

Speaker 1 (04:05):
Oh is that Jonathan Bailey?

Speaker 3 (04:07):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (04:09):
Sorry, know enough about him.

Speaker 2 (04:11):
Those little glasses Yeah him?

Speaker 1 (04:14):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (04:15):
Him and Matt Balmer.

Speaker 4 (04:16):
Well, they were in that show called Fellow Travelers together
and I like fell in love with both of them,
and they would not want anything to do with me,
So it's a safe space.

Speaker 5 (04:27):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (04:27):
Tanya loved the Jurassic Park movie, which I would not
have predicted.

Speaker 2 (04:31):
But she told me it.

Speaker 4 (04:32):
You know, that's what we've learned about Tanya, though she
her mind to watching something there's a chance she could
like it, even if it doesn't feel on brand Hedgehog.

Speaker 3 (04:42):
Yes, breaking bad. Yes, lots of these are happening lately,
which is a lesson for Tanya.

Speaker 4 (04:47):
Hailey and I were trying to frantically find a time
to go see Jurassic World last night because reviews.

Speaker 2 (04:54):
I told her I go.

Speaker 4 (04:55):
Tanya said it's really good, and she was like, I've
been wanting to see it, and I go, I don't
like pop out and those movies. I'll be like this movie,
but I'll go for the popcorn and experience.

Speaker 2 (05:05):
But they were. It was all sold out.

Speaker 4 (05:07):
Yeah yeah, every sugar but radius.

Speaker 2 (05:11):
At those times, I.

Speaker 1 (05:12):
Literally went because the kids wanted to see it. So
I was like, whatever, I probably take a nap, and
I was, which I've done before.

Speaker 3 (05:20):
So that's I call that fast forwarding life. Why, well,
I'm this movie is boring.

Speaker 1 (05:26):
Well, it's over, but I was glued in. I like,
I loved it. I know ten out of ten.

Speaker 2 (05:34):
Wow.

Speaker 1 (05:35):
Would watch it again? Wow Wow, in the comfort of
my own home, though I don't need to go to
the theater again. Yeah, yeah, yeah, but I'm excited you're
going to see it. We had a crazy weekend.

Speaker 2 (05:46):
Yeah, what happened?

Speaker 1 (05:48):
You happened? Oh your surprise party? Yeah, like what did
you do?

Speaker 3 (05:56):
No?

Speaker 1 (05:57):
I was so stressed about that, and I now I'm
in hindsight happy that Haley did not tell me she
was going to propose, because keeping the secret of this
dinner was enough, which was way less important than like
keeping the secret of a proposal.

Speaker 4 (06:13):
She did say, she said, trying to have a surprise
and that many people knowing the surprise.

Speaker 2 (06:19):
Was really stressful.

Speaker 4 (06:21):
Yeah, and she goes, I would share if you're playing,
like when you're planning to propose or playing a surprise
in general, telling as few people as possible. So I'm
back to my like, you know, trying to figure out
who will be the yes.

Speaker 1 (06:40):
But but did Haley mention people that were helpful?

Speaker 2 (06:43):
She actually did, and she said you were beyond helpful,
thank you, which we all know, like that's just who
you are and the type of just.

Speaker 1 (06:51):
Keep that in the back of your mind when you time.

Speaker 4 (06:54):
Very much overwhelmed her in the best way with how
celebratory you were, like for the podcast, helping with the dinner,
Like she I think it's like She's always known that
was your personality, but I think it being directed towards us.
I mean obviously me, but like us together. Really she
really felt it. It was very special.

Speaker 1 (07:13):
I love that. Yeah, just keep in mind how helpful
I am. I know when the time comes.

Speaker 2 (07:19):
I know, heink.

Speaker 4 (07:20):
My youngest sister wrote me and goes just while I'm
thinking about it, I want to take off any pressure
of you needing to make me the maid of honor.
Like I just I was like, so you were surrounded,
You're surrounded by so many amazing women, like, don't feel pressure.

Speaker 2 (07:35):
And I'm like, well, we'll get there eventually.

Speaker 1 (07:38):
But somebody wrote me and was like something about being
your maid of honor, and I was like, you know,
she has a lot of sisters, so I'm not gonna
like put any pressure on her, but you know I'm
gonna lay it on thick.

Speaker 2 (07:51):
Yeah. Her audition began yes weekend.

Speaker 1 (07:54):
Yes, yes, yes, a plus plus. Thank you so much.

Speaker 2 (07:56):
It was really cool.

Speaker 4 (07:57):
I mean, I think and her girlfriend Morgan fluent from Denver,
and they surprised me.

Speaker 2 (08:02):
I opened the door and.

Speaker 1 (08:04):
That was on what day?

Speaker 6 (08:06):
Thursday okay, no, yes, Thursday, Friday, okay.

Speaker 4 (08:12):
Friday and then Saturday, I was I don't even know.
Haley just goes, we have a lunch reservation, so you
need to get ready in thirty minutes, and I was like,
why didn't she tell me? So I start getting ready
and then heat comes in and she's like, hey, your
gardener's outside and has a question. So then I walk out,

(08:33):
and then Jojo and Jordan ran up and they were like,
we're here, and they were blew in literally for twenty
more hours.

Speaker 2 (08:40):
And then Ali's like, now I was on Saturday.

Speaker 1 (08:44):
They surprised you Satura.

Speaker 4 (08:45):
They surprised me Saturday, and then I get surprised at
the dinner.

Speaker 2 (08:49):
Alie's like nearly about to pop.

Speaker 1 (08:52):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (08:53):
It was just overwhelming in the best way. I had
just seen Michael and Brittany. It was Michael's birthday of
the day before.

Speaker 1 (09:01):
I saw that that you were with all of them,
I knew they were all going to be at the
party the next day. And I was like, if I
saw you like I saw you for the podcast, and
I can like keep my poker face, yeah, but if
I was just like raw dog with you out in
the streets, it would be impossible.

Speaker 4 (09:19):
I'm so impressed with everyone because I never had a
clue and I was with Taylor Banks. Taylor Banks knew
about the proposal for weeks and I saw her.

Speaker 1 (09:28):
She was one of the trusted ones.

Speaker 4 (09:30):
She would come over to the house and like, see
you hang out with me, garden with me, and I
was like, how did you do that? I would have
never been able to keep that.

Speaker 1 (09:41):
In No, how did she?

Speaker 2 (09:43):
I don't know.

Speaker 4 (09:44):
It's like we might need to sign you up for
traders or something. I was like, really good, good work.
But it was so fun. I just felt like so
beyond loved and celebrated and it was just so wonderful.

Speaker 1 (09:58):
So Haley planned this surprise dinner that happened on Saturday
night for beccases surprise was like that was it?

Speaker 3 (10:09):
Or is it?

Speaker 2 (10:11):
You can relax?

Speaker 1 (10:12):
But so Robbie and I got there a little bit earlier,
and I was looking at my phone because I obviously
Beck and I share locations, and I was like, Babe,
remind me when like it's time for Becca to be close.
I want to like screen record her little dot like
moving close to the restaurant. And he was like, he goes,

(10:33):
don't you want to turn that? Don't you want to
turn your location off, and I was like, if you
think that Becca Tilly is checking my location at any
point in the near future, Like, there's no chance she's
going to check my location and see that I am
at Ella Fonte at the same time, like you know
what I mean, Like, there's just no way she's going

(10:55):
to check my location and correct correct, And a lot
of people were dm me too. They were like, did
you have to turn off your location? And I was like,
they don't know. I wish that she checked my location
enough to where that would be a fear of mine. However,
it was never a fear that you would check and
see I was there.

Speaker 2 (11:14):
Yeah, it's for the best. Well, what happened is that.

Speaker 4 (11:17):
I was kind of embarrassed because I had a full
wardrobe meltdown leaving, but I thought I was just getting
dinner with Jordan, Jojo Henk and Morgan, so I knew
I was going to dinner and meeting them. But in
my mind, I was like, like Haley put on her outfit,
it did not match mine. I was like, babe, this
is these clash. Not only do they not match, they clash.

(11:38):
So I was like trying to find an outfit and
then she changed again.

Speaker 2 (11:40):
It was just like chaos. So we left so late.

Speaker 4 (11:43):
She was I kept having to be like, I'm sorry,
I love you, but you know who I am, and you.

Speaker 2 (11:49):
Put a ring on it, like I run late.

Speaker 4 (11:52):
She's like, it's fine, but I obviously didn't know. There
was like a whole room of.

Speaker 2 (11:57):
People for me.

Speaker 3 (12:00):
As someone married to someone who has that similar time
management issue.

Speaker 2 (12:04):
Uh huh.

Speaker 3 (12:05):
Will you be offended one day if Haley starts lying
to you about when events start?

Speaker 2 (12:10):
No, I prefer it everyone who does that. I'm like,
this is what we need to do.

Speaker 3 (12:15):
I liked yesterday, but when Superman was starting because I
wanted to be there for the trailers because I love trailers. Yeah,
I wanted to be there when it started. So I
lied to my whole family about when it started, and
we made it on time.

Speaker 2 (12:25):
You have to do that.

Speaker 4 (12:26):
I have to do it, And like I there are
times where I like, really put an effort because I mean,
especially like Haley's family is very prompt, so there's a
lot of I don't think they care as much as
Haley makes me think that they care, but it has
put the fear of God in me, and so I
try my best to be like on time, but sometimes
I'm still a little late. So I was slightly I

(12:48):
was very overwhelmed and surprising that I was like, man,
all these people were affected by my starting as dang.

Speaker 1 (12:57):
You weren't that tardy.

Speaker 2 (12:58):
It was so charley, that's so tart.

Speaker 4 (13:01):
Ten minutes is where I'm like, that's my frame because
you can be like there was a traffic block.

Speaker 2 (13:07):
Twenty five minutes is rude. It was thirty, it was
twenty four. Well we got there.

Speaker 4 (13:13):
We got to the ballet at seven fifty five.

Speaker 2 (13:17):
I was paying attention, okay, so yeah, but it was
it was really special.

Speaker 4 (13:21):
But yeah, you don't really have to Maybe I should
start checking locations though.

Speaker 1 (13:25):
It was very funny because a lot of people DM
me the same question, like do you ever worry that
she's gonna see you?

Speaker 6 (13:31):
I'm like, no, Well, also, it's on the west side
where you live, so if I saw you there, I'd
be like, Tanya, I'm Cornelavonte too.

Speaker 1 (13:44):
You would have put two two together? You would? I
think you would.

Speaker 2 (13:48):
I don't know.

Speaker 4 (13:49):
I was like a little just my head was all
over the place. So but it was fun. Yeah, it's
a great time.

Speaker 5 (13:54):
So remember when you got engaged I do, so I
Hailey propos and then we had like a full week
of going to the beach and putting on sunscreen and
lo like all the things.

Speaker 4 (14:06):
So my ring was like went through a lot in
the first week. So I get home and she's like, oh,
here's the cleaner that they sent with the ring, and
so I was like, oh, I'm gonna like shine her up.
So I put it on there and I used a
little brush and I'm like convincing. I'm like, wow, it
looks amazing. But like for a few days, I kept thinking.
Haley even said, she goes, baby, you need to clean

(14:28):
your ring, and I'm like I just did, and there's
this like film over it, and so she was like
I kept thinking, like did they send me the wrong
ring and like swapped it out with a different ring.
And so Jojo comes over and she's like says, you
need to clean your ring and I go, oh, yeah,
yeah yeah. So I get my little cleaner and she goes,
will you do mine too? So I'm cleaning them and

(14:50):
I handed.

Speaker 2 (14:50):
Her and she goes, you have to do it underwater,
so it's like a soap. But I was just leaving.
I wasn't wrenching it like a film of soap, just
for like a week.

Speaker 4 (15:03):
Every time I look at it now, I'm like, wow,
it's so sparkly.

Speaker 2 (15:09):
I was just being grateful, you know, just like.

Speaker 1 (15:13):
I remember Robbie got me like, I'm sure you've seen this.
And there's like a cleaner that you can get where
it like because you don't have to like not use chemicals.
You put it in like some sort of thing that
like shakes it. It's a little machine put it in
like water like shakes the ring.

Speaker 2 (15:29):
Clean or whatever.

Speaker 1 (15:30):
He's very proud of that. I've used it once.

Speaker 4 (15:33):
Well, this worked great once I did it right. Really,
it's shined right up. But yeah, for a while, I
was just walking around and.

Speaker 1 (15:40):
I use good old fashioned toothpaste and a toothbrush.

Speaker 2 (15:43):
I don't know that trick. Yeah I'm learning, Yeah, I'm learning.
It's new, yeah, new and fresh.

Speaker 1 (15:49):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (15:50):
So yeah, it's been a whirlwind.

Speaker 4 (15:52):
Haley was like, I'm just like so sad vacation's over.
And I was like the rest of our life begins.
Yeah exactly, so said beautiful.

Speaker 1 (16:04):
When are we dress shopping?

Speaker 2 (16:08):
That'll be a while.

Speaker 1 (16:09):
There's no like harm and just like peeking around, Yeah,
I know there is no harm, but not yet, just
like one store.

Speaker 2 (16:23):
But you know who will know about it when the
time comes who you?

Speaker 4 (16:29):
Yes, Yes, but I have to I have to return
the favor. I want to return the favor of proposing
to Haley. So and then we can start getting into
the weeds of Oh, so you're not.

Speaker 1 (16:42):
Even gonna look for a dress until you propose.

Speaker 4 (16:44):
Yeah, because there's no planning of a wedding or needing
a dress, but.

Speaker 1 (16:48):
You know you're gonna need it. Here's the thing that
you know you're definitely gonna need a dress.

Speaker 4 (16:54):
Yeah, But I would like to to feel better and
like more confident and like my physical body before I
go trial dresses, so that I really have like a
taste of what I'm wanting.

Speaker 2 (17:08):
God, because I haven't done anything.

Speaker 4 (17:09):
I've just been eating bread and pastries and which is fine.

Speaker 2 (17:13):
I have no issue. I feel no rush to start
that problem an hour exactly, and I can't wait.

Speaker 4 (17:21):
But I will have to walk in soon, for once
the time comes to think about dresses, I'll probably be like,
all right, it's time to limit my candy intake at night.

Speaker 2 (17:32):
That's what really gets me.

Speaker 1 (17:34):
Yeah, it happens fast. What just the the when like
I what I realized is when I when I'm not
on like my health kick and my healthy regime regime regiment.

Speaker 2 (17:47):
I think both.

Speaker 1 (17:49):
Measurement. Uh, I go so far off my path that
like it's hard to reel myself back in.

Speaker 2 (17:58):
I don't know, I think you real yourself back in.

Speaker 1 (18:00):
You know, I went away on my trip to can
and then I went on my honeymoon and you got
engaged my birthday. It's just all the things keep happening,
and I'm just like before you know, it's in August
and I'm going to be have gone off the deep
end two months street called l I V I N

(18:20):
G E.

Speaker 2 (18:23):
Living.

Speaker 1 (18:24):
Yeah, That's where I'm at.

Speaker 2 (18:26):
Can't you can't limit yourself from living.

Speaker 1 (18:29):
No, that's just the facts. It is just the facts.

Speaker 4 (18:31):
But I do want to say thank you to all
the scrubbers. There's just been so much love and support
and we like really felt it. And Haley was mortified
that her comment about the nudist beach.

Speaker 1 (18:43):
Was a headline?

Speaker 4 (18:45):
Did it? Said?

Speaker 1 (18:48):
Entertainment Weekly?

Speaker 2 (18:49):
Right, People magazine?

Speaker 4 (18:52):
Like surrounded by a sea of penises was the headline?

Speaker 1 (18:56):
Wow Special lesbian Jesus crucified by Penis.

Speaker 4 (19:00):
She goes, she goes, I guess I forget. I go,
here's the thing we say. Tanya says so many unhinged
things on this podcast that like, I, that's just our banter,
Like I wouldn't even think when you said that, I
never thought anything.

Speaker 2 (19:15):
Of it, but I have to forget. Haley's like she's.

Speaker 4 (19:18):
Someone who's gonna get written up about.

Speaker 2 (19:21):
I was like, Okay, it's funny.

Speaker 1 (19:23):
It's funny because it's funny or was she like i'd
feel like a little sad.

Speaker 4 (19:27):
I think I don't think she was sad. I think
she was just like out of the whole podcast, like that's.

Speaker 2 (19:32):
Thead like I chose.

Speaker 4 (19:33):
But Taylor Banks, who used to work for EAT News,
was like, yeah, that's what I would have chose, right, she.

Speaker 1 (19:39):
Said, That's what I would have chosen.

Speaker 2 (19:41):
She's like, well, I mean not as our friend, but
just right.

Speaker 1 (19:44):
Right if she like said, yeah, the thing that I
liked about it was that that was like literally the
very last thing that Haley said on the podcast. So
they listened to the whole thing. So thank you for
those bpms.

Speaker 2 (19:55):
Yes, yes, thank you, thank you?

Speaker 1 (19:56):
Is it bpms? What is it? And waves yeah, not
beat per minuted beaten back to bag. Thank you for
those bpms.

Speaker 2 (20:09):
We had the Love Island finale last night, yes.

Speaker 1 (20:12):
Which we should get two hours long.

Speaker 2 (20:14):
And we should get to it, but first let's take
a break.

Speaker 7 (20:34):
All right.

Speaker 4 (20:35):
We are back after a long, long season of Love
Island USA.

Speaker 2 (20:40):
It came to an end last night.

Speaker 3 (20:41):
Thirty six episodes.

Speaker 1 (20:43):
Kind of short for a Love Island season if I'm
being honest, how long is it normally in the fifties?
How fifty episodes? So I think the UK does it
every single day, not minus hump day, so that would
add on, right, Like if it's six weeks, that's I
guess only six episode. So I don't know how it

(21:05):
gets us from six to fifty.

Speaker 2 (21:09):
Maybe they had a week.

Speaker 1 (21:10):
Maybe they had a week.

Speaker 4 (21:11):
Yeah, yeah, I have to say, like when we left
for our trip, you did the map.

Speaker 2 (21:17):
There, you almost got there?

Speaker 3 (21:19):
Yeah, here, right here. There's never been a fifty episode,
but well, okay, it's usually about forty nine episode.

Speaker 1 (21:24):
Yeah, okay, fine, forty nine fifty same difference.

Speaker 4 (21:27):
Oh that's a sick I mean that's thirteen right episodes. Difference,
it's like two extra weeks with hump day.

Speaker 1 (21:35):
Love with the hump Day included. Yeah, they don't give
you the hump day off, which.

Speaker 4 (21:38):
Is like bull so many so I have to say
mark while because as someone who papooed it for so
long and was like this is too much, watching it
live and having something to like watch every night as
a collective show that everyone was talking about was really fun. However,
as soon as I left and went on the trail

(22:00):
and then we came back and we tried to catch up,
I was like, I don't care, let's just start up where.

Speaker 1 (22:05):
It is so you can't do that.

Speaker 2 (22:08):
Yeah, we got a reachap.

Speaker 4 (22:09):
We got a recap of like the significant moments that happened,
and I felt very clued in.

Speaker 1 (22:14):
Oh no, I did not miss a beat on my honeymoon.

Speaker 4 (22:18):
Really, no, you did the VPN Yeah nice always.

Speaker 2 (22:23):
Well, yeah, I just didn't care enough about anyone.

Speaker 4 (22:27):
To go through the depths of like what went down,
because they all were just the last, the final four couples.

Speaker 2 (22:36):
I was like, at this point, who cared?

Speaker 1 (22:38):
Literally? I saw this one TikTok that was like Love
Island season seven, We're couples go to die because like
the minute you become a couple, you get like booted
off the island. Yeah, yeah, it was weird.

Speaker 4 (22:51):
And I hated the forced effort of trying to make
us believe that Nick and Orlandria had chemistry from the
big guys, they just missed each other until this moment.

Speaker 1 (23:04):
I'm like, come on, come on.

Speaker 2 (23:06):
I felt weird.

Speaker 4 (23:07):
Like I agree that that we were supposed to believe
that they were crushing on each other.

Speaker 1 (23:14):
I agree. I was so turned off by that narrative.
It like gave me the ick hugeic like not with Orlandria,
but I got off her so fast and she was
like mean girl status. But Nick, it was like I
got the ick from him so bad. He was like,
I was like, I.

Speaker 2 (23:33):
Didn't get that.

Speaker 4 (23:34):
I got the ick from like the forced like the
producers trying to like make all the other islanders talk
about how cute they were, and I'm like, I don't
buy it. Yeah, because I also, I think having been
on a TV show, I remember those interviews where the
producers would ask a question guiding you to taculate.

Speaker 5 (23:54):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (23:55):
Yeah, so I didn't like that. I was Pepe were cute,
but like boring.

Speaker 1 (24:02):
So boring. They were like the only couple that I
felt like actually had a something.

Speaker 2 (24:07):
Sure, but she's not. I don't think they'll be together
after the show.

Speaker 1 (24:11):
No little pou.

Speaker 2 (24:13):
Yeah, well just like her.

Speaker 4 (24:18):
I'm freaking you need to look up Iris and then
remember that face that she has.

Speaker 1 (24:23):
She always had this pout and like I saw everybody
posting it on TikTok. The one thing I do love
about Love Island is it really got me back engage
in tiktokt.

Speaker 4 (24:36):
Even make a noise though there wasn't a Gralis.

Speaker 7 (24:40):
For a podcast, and yeah, thank you, and then hood
of making it to the I would have been so
offended if I was Iris and they were actually in
a couple, and then Chris and Hudda who just had
a full falling out toxic situation.

Speaker 4 (24:56):
And then also, you guys, this show is so crazy
because Aria Automatics is like.

Speaker 2 (25:04):
Iris and Pepe your fourth place out of four? How
are you feeling?

Speaker 4 (25:10):
With a huge smile on her face, and it's like
the Hunger Games and they're just like, I guess fine,
like a whole experience.

Speaker 1 (25:19):
Yeah, they got last place. Thanks Ari.

Speaker 2 (25:23):
It's crazy. Yeah, so spoiler alert Amaya and Brian one.

Speaker 4 (25:28):
Yeah, and I'm I'm fine with it.

Speaker 1 (25:33):
Yeah, I mean I would have been fine with any
of them. To be honest, I was fine every Finandria
every finale I'm so bored by Oh really, Yeah, I
always hate the finale because it's like, I mean, there's
no drama. Well, Ye're almost like we love you. Last day,
it's like slow them kissing for five minutes, like they're
all just so boring. Yeah that I I was.

Speaker 2 (25:58):
The wow, just literally speechless.

Speaker 4 (26:06):
I like leaning in trying to get you to like
help you, but I didn't know what how to help you.

Speaker 1 (26:14):
I was very much in that same space last night
when I was watching, just like bored, yeah until the
very end, because I just want to know who wins. However,
I was really hoping that Amaya would get the hundred
thousand and keep it. Yeah, that was like my end goal,
like dream is she just like keeps it because I
don't trust Bryan at all.

Speaker 2 (26:36):
Now here's the thing.

Speaker 4 (26:37):
Brian knew if he were to keep it, he would
be done for.

Speaker 1 (26:42):
Yes, yeah, he knew she was the People's princess.

Speaker 4 (26:44):
He well, technically he doesn't know how much of the
People's princess.

Speaker 2 (26:47):
He knows it wasn't.

Speaker 4 (26:49):
About him, correct, So yeah, but yeah, I was kind
of hoping she'd get the hundred thousand ticket too.

Speaker 1 (26:55):
Yeah. So, but you know, I also really didn't Love
is like Shelley when they got voted off spoiler art.

Speaker 3 (27:02):
Shelley, she was like talking.

Speaker 1 (27:07):
About how like her and Ace had like known each
other and her for like they did some met each
other on Instagram and like saying with Orlandria or something too.
And I'm like, I don't like this, like met who
Shelley before the show? Yeah, Taylor Banks was telling me
all this.

Speaker 4 (27:24):
Wait, so they knew each other before they went on
because they knew.

Speaker 1 (27:29):
They were No, No, I don't think they were like
friends by any means.

Speaker 2 (27:34):
But okay, she's getting the deeps.

Speaker 4 (27:37):
Well, all I know is now Bachelor and Paradise has
tried to take a similar route as a Love Island.
They do like the slowmas stuff now and then now
they they're gonna end Bachelor in Paradise with money, Like
is it love or money?

Speaker 1 (27:53):
Which like what we like about Love Island.

Speaker 4 (27:56):
No, but it's also not all we like about Bachelor
and Paradise, Like I guess instead of focusing on who
they cast, they're like trying to copy other shows, which
I don't like.

Speaker 1 (28:07):
So when I realized what I didn't like about this
season of USA was it really comes down to the casting, right,
you know what, It comes down to the casting. So
I would like to offer my services free of charge,
probo casting pro bono if you will, Yeah, to anybody
that works on Love Island. I would love to help

(28:31):
out if you want to run some ideas by me.

Speaker 2 (28:36):
He is, I know, but you know what it is.

Speaker 4 (28:38):
It's seeing the massive success of last season USA cast.
They went in with the wrong intentions this season correct,
Just like how when Love is Blind was first on,
it was so pure and then the second season You're like, uh,
doesn't feel as pure.

Speaker 2 (28:56):
Pure.

Speaker 1 (28:56):
So Taylor Banks said that they followed each other on
Instagram and they had DMD and liked each other's posts
before they were even in the villa. Shady, shady, I agree, shady.

Speaker 2 (29:10):
Social media of it all.

Speaker 1 (29:12):
Yeah, So you know, am I sad it's over? Yes?
Did I love this season?

Speaker 4 (29:17):
No?

Speaker 1 (29:18):
Did I watch every single episode? Yes? Well I come
back next season for more. Absolutely?

Speaker 4 (29:25):
Are you gonna watch Beyond the Villa with the past
from last year?

Speaker 1 (29:28):
One hundred and I'm even more overjoyed because now I'm
going to start Love Island UK, which is currently in progress.
And I'm so grateful to Jojo and Jordan who sat
next to Robbie at yours and they were beaming with
pride over how good this season is. That Robbie has

(29:51):
now decided that he will join me. Wow, yeah, what
a guy, And so that might be happening later today. Yes,
they're they're well into Cassa more so, I'm very behind started.

Speaker 4 (30:04):
Ninth I see how I was thinking about doing it,
because I thought about starting it as well, but just
starting it as if we're starting episode one and doing
it like every night like we watch because I get
overwhelmed if there's more than one episode to watch.

Speaker 2 (30:18):
These people.

Speaker 1 (30:19):
Oh really, So I could just I could just I know.

Speaker 2 (30:22):
I know that's where we're different, because I just it's.

Speaker 1 (30:25):
Mindless, Like I could put it on on like a
Saturday morning and watch it the whole day through and
like do laundry, take my dog for a walk.

Speaker 4 (30:31):
You know, there's something about hearing those voices and the conversations.

Speaker 1 (30:35):
It's just but the UK, they're so like proper and
they like it's so nice.

Speaker 2 (30:40):
I can't understand what they're saying. When I tried to
watch this seasons. I know, so I have to.

Speaker 3 (30:45):
Watch Shoot, you are thirty episodes into this Yeah that's crazy, Okay,
that might be.

Speaker 2 (30:53):
Not me.

Speaker 1 (30:56):
If not now when? If not this show the game?
We want to watch Squid Game.

Speaker 3 (31:03):
I loved Squid Game season three. Really, I love that show. Yeah,
it's great.

Speaker 2 (31:07):
I didn't like season two.

Speaker 4 (31:09):
What I didn't like it because I liked the first
season being like so much more about the actual games,
and I felt like the second season was.

Speaker 1 (31:23):
About the people. Yeah, it's a little noise, but they
got back to the games.

Speaker 3 (31:26):
The games are still so intense.

Speaker 2 (31:28):
Yeah, I know, but it was like a feeling of like.

Speaker 7 (31:31):
The beginning, at the beginning of the anxiety, and then I.

Speaker 3 (31:35):
Just it's not as pure pure, just like it's tough
to beat an original season one.

Speaker 1 (31:42):
Wait, can you confirm for me on your computer that
what's the doctor show that I watched? It wasn't the
Pit it was It's not coming back for season too.

Speaker 3 (31:55):
There will be no season two. Confirm it was officially
canceled on July second.

Speaker 1 (32:00):
Can I just tell you this show had the weirdest
choke hold on me because I complained about it, and
yet I watched the whole thing, and I secretly like
loved it. And then the finale came and they left
not a single cliffhanger, just floating away in the ocean.

(32:22):
I was like, oh what that that's there's no cliffhanger.
They always end on a cliffhanger.

Speaker 2 (32:29):
They had a feeling.

Speaker 1 (32:30):
Yeah, they knew, well, anyway, I probably have to keep
it neutral.

Speaker 4 (32:35):
Not if they don't have like a pick up mid season,
they probably have to just keep it.

Speaker 3 (32:40):
But isn't it a way of like blackmailing the network
like you do a super juicy kid. Yeah, if they
do cancel that, the fans go nuts to demand.

Speaker 1 (32:48):
Yeah. Like even The Hills their series finale was like
a cliffhanger, like you know, like that's badass. Yeah, bring
back the Hills type.

Speaker 4 (32:58):
I do want to catch up to do on the
and just like that front, which I you know, don't
look forward to, but we'll do. We can't stop watching,
but are angry the whole time, Tonya.

Speaker 2 (33:14):
A lot of people had way more.

Speaker 4 (33:16):
Questions about your honeymoon because we just kind of like know,
I saw.

Speaker 1 (33:20):
Some girl that was like Tanya talks so much about
her honeymoon, like so.

Speaker 2 (33:26):
Much about it.

Speaker 1 (33:27):
Yeah, and I was like, first of all, Hailey was tired.

Speaker 2 (33:32):
She was feeding fast.

Speaker 1 (33:33):
So I was picking up on social cues and I
was like, let me thank you, let me take some
of the load off my girl, Haley.

Speaker 2 (33:40):
I wanted to hear about your honeymoon.

Speaker 1 (33:42):
And so people were coming in and having my back
and say go back to ask her, and Beca wanted
to know, and I was just.

Speaker 2 (33:48):
Like, I just I wanted to know more.

Speaker 4 (33:52):
But yeah, Hailey was She's like, I cannot believe y'all
do that every week.

Speaker 2 (33:57):
Wow, that was literally a short day.

Speaker 1 (34:02):
It's a little stint.

Speaker 2 (34:05):
So she has no appreciation for what we do here.

Speaker 1 (34:09):
That is nice. I love that she does.

Speaker 3 (34:11):
I'll tell you that.

Speaker 1 (34:12):
That's right.

Speaker 2 (34:12):
Yeah, like that's true.

Speaker 1 (34:14):
Sitting up on stage, standing up on stage and dancing
for like a million hours and singing.

Speaker 2 (34:19):
Yeah, directing movies.

Speaker 1 (34:20):
Yeah, that doesn't take it out of her.

Speaker 2 (34:23):
Yeah, that's that. She has the staminaphore. But talking about
this our proposal was just just too much. She was exhausted.

Speaker 4 (34:34):
But people wanted to know about why you why y'all
chose Saint Barts and Anguilla like a great.

Speaker 3 (34:40):
Question that we should really delve into.

Speaker 2 (34:42):
When we come back.

Speaker 8 (34:43):
Ye okay, all right, we're back.

Speaker 4 (35:03):
So I wanted to get a few more details about
Tanya's honeymoon because it was fun while we were we
were on vacation at the same time, and it was
just fun seeing what y'all were doing, don't I don't
know if we talked about this on the podcast, but
so Haley booked this the airbnb where we staged. She

(35:24):
booked it because the specific one because it said it
had AC and a lot of places in Europe don't
have AC.

Speaker 2 (35:31):
And so we get there.

Speaker 4 (35:33):
And it didn't mention that the AC was only on
the top floor and the bottom floors were all the bedrooms,
and it was there was a heat wave in Europe,
so it was like stifling downstairs.

Speaker 2 (35:46):
And so the first night and my I'm just kind
of like, we'll figure out, it'll be fine, you know.

Speaker 4 (35:53):
But I didn't know that this was supposed to be
like all perfect for the engagement, you know. So we
had we find like all these fans in the closet.
We have like four fans on a set up in
the room. She ends up having to call the hosts
and they were gracious and brought like a portable ac
unit and so it was totally fine for the rest
of the trip. But the first night when we had

(36:13):
all the fans, Tanya's texting me and she's like, oh
my god, this is crazy. We got triple upgraded in
our in our hotel.

Speaker 2 (36:23):
I've never had a triple upgrade.

Speaker 4 (36:26):
And if I'm telling Haley, She's like, Tanya, we don't
need this right now.

Speaker 1 (36:32):
But it was so funny, like juxtapositions.

Speaker 2 (36:35):
It was amazing.

Speaker 1 (36:37):
I've never been triple upgraded in my life.

Speaker 2 (36:39):
Well, Gil's place, I was like, there's no way this
is one room.

Speaker 1 (36:44):
It was actually one room. There was like them and
like another like playroom, a house, multiple balconies, a kitchen,
a bathroom. The bathroom has its own patio. I was like,
who needs this much space? Like we actually don't, but
it was so nice.

Speaker 2 (37:01):
Yeah, and then y'all had like the private pools.

Speaker 1 (37:04):
Yeah, it's so it was so crazy. Yeah, in the
second part, it was so crazy.

Speaker 2 (37:10):
Why did y'all choose the location? Jill trips.

Speaker 1 (37:13):
So we'd been to Saint Bart's once before, and we
were like obsessed. We're obsessed with Saint Bart's. It's it's
everything we love about everywhere we've been on one island,
and so we knew we wanted to go back, and
so we were kind of using that as like the
Originally we were gonna, h what's it called, tag team collaborate,

(37:35):
collaborate Paulina's doing like a thirtieth birthday trip, and so
we were going to tag tag on like our honeymoon
then do part of her birthday trip. But then she
didn't want to do it that early, and so it
all fell through. But Saint Barts was where she wanted
to go as well, so all kind of was like
working out, and then she didn't want to do that anymore.
So then we were but we were like, fine, we
love Saint Barts, we still want to do that. But

(37:55):
then we wanted to have a part of the honeymoon
that was like very romantic and like very much just
the two of us, And people kept saying Anguilla is
really close, and so people kept saying Anguilla is like
super romantic, super sexy, and so that's kind of why
we picked Anguilla.

Speaker 2 (38:10):
What makes it sexy?

Speaker 1 (38:12):
The beaches are like white sand and like turquoise water,
like you never very sexual, yeah, yeah, Like the water
in the water is so warm, yeah, And we felt
even though we were in like a big resort, like
there's a lot of people there, we felt like we
were the only ones there in a weird way, like
we were very much in our own bubble.

Speaker 2 (38:33):
I felt like that.

Speaker 4 (38:34):
It felt like that because I didn't really see people
except for the videos. We all were at the day clubs.
I felt like the whole honeymoon, we all were just
kind of like in your own bubbles.

Speaker 1 (38:41):
But in St. Bart's we were like hanging out with
all the people, you know what I mean, like like
the white Lotus portion of our honeymoon, and then like
the Anguilla part was like the Romeo and Juliet. Oh no,
that's bad, that's sad, you know, Yeah, I know. But
it was when that one, when the when the couple

(39:04):
invited we're starting to invite people on their boat, I'm like,
this is.

Speaker 3 (39:07):
Just so white.

Speaker 2 (39:08):
Noticed did y'all go on a boat?

Speaker 1 (39:11):
We did not. We had other we were previously engaged
that day, but they were like infting all of our
hotel guests on this boat that they got. And it
was like a guy who was there with his girlfriend
of two months and she was there with her gay
best friend. So it was like the three of them, Oh.

Speaker 3 (39:28):
I'd watch that.

Speaker 2 (39:29):
Yeah, I tell you, it's a good.

Speaker 1 (39:31):
Show, so freaking funny, and like we're still connected to them,
like Robbie follows the girl and the gay best friend
on Instagram. I follow the girl and the girl and
the boyfriend that we met with, the two kids, and
then the mom that was their first I see his
birthday party and her daughters were all following them on
Instagram too.

Speaker 8 (39:52):
Wow.

Speaker 3 (39:52):
Do you think any of them are listening to scrubbing In?
Did you convert any new fans?

Speaker 1 (39:56):
Hopefully we shall see yeah, r.

Speaker 4 (40:08):
Yeah, Because the whole time before you left, your whole
thing was like, what's the difference in just a vacation
and a honeymoon?

Speaker 8 (40:16):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (40:16):
Did you feel a difference?

Speaker 1 (40:18):
Total difference, total difference. And I think also because Robbie
can never fully unplug. He's always like has his computer
and he's kind of like every vacation we've ever been on,
he's always doing some sort of work at some point.
But this our honeymoon, he was like, he told everybody,
I'm gonna be on my honeymoon. He wrapped up everything
basically before we left, so he was like fully present,

(40:42):
fully engaged, and there was just like this different energy
that we had between the two of us. It was
very like sexual. It was very like happy, blissful, even
though we hadn't just gotten married. Because I feel like
that's what the honeymoon is, like you're coming off that high.
It still felt like we kind of had that. So
what I hold him like, we have to do a
honeymoon every year. We had to do one a year

(41:04):
where it's doesn't have to be ten days. It can
even just be like two days, three days where it's
just us, no like work stuff, and we just are
like very involved with each other for four days.

Speaker 2 (41:17):
So an unplugged vacation.

Speaker 5 (41:20):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (41:20):
Yeah, But now that I know how we were on
our honeymoon, I'm like, I can bring that energy back,
you know what I mean.

Speaker 2 (41:28):
Yeah, it keeps your wedding events going.

Speaker 1 (41:31):
Yeah, you know, well, I guess it would be an
anniversary trip like people do, like they celebrate their anniversary.

Speaker 3 (41:36):
Right.

Speaker 4 (41:36):
But yeah, well, so now that the honeymoon's over, because
the plan.

Speaker 3 (41:41):
Was now it was just life's over.

Speaker 8 (41:44):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (41:44):
No, no, I was gonna say, we're are plans moving
for the next phase of life.

Speaker 1 (41:50):
Plans are moving, the plans are happening, plans are happening daily. Well,
our doctor It's like the thing is with this type
of stuff is like everybody has their own methods and
their own life, so it's like we're just kind of

(42:11):
going off of what we think is best. But like
our doctors had every other day, other people say every day,
So we're doing like a hybrid. Huh, like every every skip,
every every skip, I see, you know, just seeing what works. Yeah, exciting. Yeah,

(42:31):
you know, there's.

Speaker 3 (42:35):
Gonna be quite a document eventually, right, two young single women.
Who knows when that will be, but there's gonna children involved.
I mean, what a what a journey this will be.

Speaker 4 (42:47):
I know, it's amazing because a lot of people start
podcasting it then at some point they end and it's
kind of like that's capped off. But our podcast has
been for such a so many we don't even have seasons.
It's just a podcast.

Speaker 1 (43:06):
Somebody asked me, like, how many seasons has your podcast been?

Speaker 2 (43:08):
I'm like, how long is the typical season? Let us
do the.

Speaker 4 (43:18):
Yeah, so well, I'm so happy all had such a
lovely time and I'm so happy it felt different than
just any old vacation.

Speaker 2 (43:25):
It really did.

Speaker 1 (43:26):
It felt different and like now, yeah, now we're moving
into this like new next phase of life, which is
like so such a trip, you know what I mean,
your whole life, at least for me, my whole life.
I like always was like, uh, very aware of when
I was ovulating to like not have sex on that window.

Speaker 8 (43:46):
You know what I mean.

Speaker 1 (43:47):
You have to shift your mind. It's so weird. It's
so weird.

Speaker 2 (43:51):
It's exciting.

Speaker 4 (43:52):
Yeah, I feel like it's like fun because everyone's just
like in these new seasons. Like I can't believe Alley's
about to have her baby and.

Speaker 2 (44:00):
I could have the same birthday as you. Is really crazy,
I said.

Speaker 4 (44:03):
I was like, I was like, can you please not
put me in this position of having the same birthday
as Donya because it's hard.

Speaker 1 (44:12):
You know, her baby has my birthday, birthday for the
baby on the same day. You're coming to mind, That's
what I'm saying.

Speaker 2 (44:23):
It's hard, exactly what I'm saying.

Speaker 3 (44:26):
Don't look at me. I agree with her. I could
see potential conflict here.

Speaker 2 (44:30):
Yeah, I mean, you are two of my best friends.
That's why I said, can you make sure it's not
on the eighteen. Thank you. I know this isn't about me,
But what's really crappy is I guess if.

Speaker 4 (44:43):
He does come on your birthday, I'll be like, oh
my gosh, two of my favorite people born on the
same day.

Speaker 3 (44:49):
You know.

Speaker 2 (44:49):
Hm, I'm spinning in my head. You're the one.

Speaker 4 (44:54):
Who told her, like I hear, July eighteenth a really
good day.

Speaker 1 (44:58):
Yeah, FACETI. I didn't think about that because in my mind,
I'm like, no competition with a newborn for your love
and affection. Yeah, but like, yeah, now I realize I do.

Speaker 4 (45:17):
But I was thinking, like, let's say, if if you
know things happen and you get pregnant, what would that
put you like a next spring?

Speaker 1 (45:27):
You can't really like I can't do that. You have
to really like not be attached to months and time
and like you just have to just like go, you
know what I mean.

Speaker 2 (45:36):
Oh, there's no thoughts of trying to plan because you don't.

Speaker 1 (45:39):
Know, you know what I mean, Like you have no
idea like how long or how many months are? You
know what I mean?

Speaker 4 (45:45):
It also enheinds, I mean doesn't matter like when the
baby comes, is.

Speaker 1 (45:48):
Right, Yeah, Like it just comes when it comes.

Speaker 2 (45:55):
That's so exciting.

Speaker 1 (45:56):
It is very exciting.

Speaker 2 (45:58):
Is there anything justin bieber new album?

Speaker 1 (46:00):

because I felt like you covered every detailodus.

Speaker 1 (47:08):
Yeah, thank you all.

Speaker 2 (47:09):
Yeah, I was giving Barbara Walters.

Speaker 1 (47:12):
That's what I love to give. Yeah, that's that's what
I love to give. You know. What's so funny though,
is I was so nervous when you decided Haley was
gonna come on, like I don't know. It added a
layer of like stress that I and I was like, oh,
thank god, tomorrow it's just Becca. I was thinking that
yesterday it's just me.

Speaker 2 (47:31):
Yeah, no pressure, no pressure, all right.

Speaker 4 (47:35):

A Part two, So stay tuned.
