So I knew, like I think on Thursday or like
two days before I went out, I knew I was
potentially gonna like talk to her.

No, and you know what's so funny? Okay, so she's
she she presented with Ryan. So Ryan and her are
doing their pre reads okay, and they're talking and I
think Ryan sees me out of the corner of his
eye and he was like lurking, lurking, and he's like, oh,
Tanya's a big love island. I come sprinting over there
because I was so excited. I'm like, oh my gosh,

I'm such a fan. I love you, And like Miguel
was there and I was like, I love you too, Miguel.
And I was just like just totally like word vomiting
with them. So mind you, do you know how to
say her last name?

I think catub? Honestly, I don't even know because I
had it in my head. I go, I don't know
how to actually say her last name, but when I
talked to her before the Hulu stream, I'll ask her
how to correctly pronounce it right right. I was in
my such my fangirl hayese. I forgot, I forgot, and

I was just like telling her all this stuff about
how excited I was that they're still I can't believe
they're still together, and like what's going on with Janey
and like you know what I mean, Like I'm just
like in it and then they look at me and
they're like five four three. So then we were on
and then I had to announce her. I had to
present her, and I think I said her name wrong
because I didn't ask her and I didn't practice. So

it just like really taught me a lesson to always
be prepared before I go into the night because I
was just so embarrassed.

Do you know for the longest time, because that's her
Instagram name is her first and last name, but I
thought her name was Leah Kate and then her last
name started with a b oh, so I always thought
it was Leah Kate and then something and then I
heard I can't remember. I unfortunately can't remember how they
say it. But I mean, when we know them.

K TEB and it's definitely not k TB. I think
it's Katab or something.

I don't think it's k TEB. I feel confident it's not.
But I feel like we watched those shows and we
don't know their last name.

We just know Leah from Love Island. Like I was like,
can I intro her? Is Leah from Love Island? They
were like no, and I was like, Okay, everybody just
wants their full name in there.

Yeah, they want to be recognized for independently. Yeah, independently
because she is.

Like she is a chief creative officer of her perfume brand.

I think the first year after coming off a reality show,
then you are you are your name from whatever show
you were on. But now that it's surpassed that and
she still has this level of fame, she can now
move on to just being her own.

Yeah. And I don't know, I mean, it was totally
my bad, Like, it was totally my fault.

I don't know if I've talked about this on the podcast,
but one of my biggest things that caused me causes
me anxiety. You know, this is when I go to
introduce a guest, yeah, in front of them, and I
don't say their name right, yes, like my biggest fear,
so I write, I always go like, wait, how do
you say this name?

I happened a lot when we were in Chicago for Epicnean, Yeah,
you were like h and Tanya I'm always like, will
you do it?
Speaker 2 (05:45):
Will you do it? And she's like, no, you always
do it. So I'm always on the edge of my
like a panic anxiety feeling of having to do that.
So I actually really resonate with you in this regard.
Speaker 1 (05:59):
I can I be honest. Also, I also too, so
the fact that you say the names is like quite
the blessing on this podcast because I also have that
like anxiety and I will I've in my mind I
know the people whose names I've said wrong. Hm. There
was this one girl. I'm going to look her up
on Instagram because I don't know I even asked her
because her last name was kind of hard and well.

My thing is if someone some people say Tyly instead
of Tilly, if they don't know my last name. But
I never am offended or bothered by it, so I
don't I think I should maybe take that approach that
there's most of the time there's grace, especially if you
have a name that's difficult to pronounce. Her is like
your last name.

I want to say, I wouldn't give a guy, wouldn't care,
Like I literally wouldn't care for the people Roddy Savieviach,
but there's a j in there by the way. Yeah,
I mean the people butcher it left and right, and
I just They're like, did I say it right? And
I'm like close enough, even though it's like not like
you know, I just whatever right, but it like really
sticks out the Like there was this girl I was
hosting Anne and her name was like kind of tricky,

and I literally like sat down with her and said like,
this is how you say this. And then I got
up on stage and I say it the wrong way again.
I'm like, something's wrong with me? Me too.

I remember, Yeah, it's very stressful.

It is, well, okay, so you met, Like, I hope
she forgives me, or that she didn't even hear me.

She was probably nervous about her line, so I'm sure
she just was.

In one ear off the other, I hope so. Because
so then she leaves to go do her presentation with
Ryan and Miguel gets somehow because I'm talking to him,
somehow he gets stuck with us because they already like
walked off stage. I was like, yes, but it was
so cute because there was like a little prompter on
the side of the stage where you can see what's
going on, and he was filming Leah presenting. I know,

it was so cute. He's like so kind. I couldn't
get over how nice he was, I know, and like
you could tell you just joy lives inside him. Oh
my gosh, that is.

and she was like really cute in the video, said
his name and yeah, he was really excited.

Yeah. Even Ryan Carrie did that too, Like she was
throwing it back back, back back, and I was like,

She just wants people to remember how iconic she is. Yeah,
She's like she did it. Yeah, yeah, she did her job.

Yeah. So Friday night, because I'm in my soft girl era,
so I'm not really drinking. But by the time I
get back to my room, it's like two am. By
the time I go to sleep on Friday, I get
up at like seven, my normal time. I do my
thing in the bathroom. I FaceTime Robbie. I called Paulina,
like just do a couple things like on the phone.
So I'm up for like an hour. I lay my
head back down out till twelve thirty pm noon half

past noon.

I was like I was in my phone. I had
glam at three. I was like, I guess I was
staying in my room. Yeah, didn't where I have to
be nowhere.

No, crisper it was. There was some slight.

Yeah, sure, seventy is cold. In the morning it would
warm up. It was beautiful though it was. It was
actually leading up to the trip it was gonna rain
a lot, uh, which I was actually fine with. But
we went for our friends baby shower, and so I
at least wanted that day to be nice. And as
we kept getting closer. The other days were nice, and
then and then that it was gonna be rain and

her baby shower. It was. We were on the beach
and it was the most beautiful sunset I feel like
I've ever seen.
Speaker 1 (11:05):
And it did.
Speaker 2 (11:07):
Oh, it was like beautiful and perfect and everything. It
was just magical love that one of the days we
went on a bike. Okay, so there were the on
Martha's Vineyard. There's all these trails and there's some like
by the woods, there's one along the beach, and Marlowe
was like, oh my gosh, I'd love to ride a bike.
And so we're like, let's go rent bikes and just ride. Well,
(11:30):
we go to get the bikes and then it was
decided that we were going to drive to this town
that was probably it was like six miles like from
the bike rental spot. So we get on.
Speaker 1 (11:41):
It's not bad on a bike, yeah, you would.
Speaker 2 (11:44):
Think it wouldn't be. And Haley kind of halfway through
looks at me and she's like, my knee is hurting,
Like I don't think I'm gonna I don't want to
ride back, like I'm not gonna be able to do it,
And I'm like, okay, well, let's just get where we're going.
Speaker 1 (11:58):
Bikes, you gotta get back.
Speaker 2 (12:00):
So we bike, and in my mind, I'm like, let's
just once we get there, we'll stop, we'll get lunch,
we'll have a break before we have to get back
on and right bike back. And on the way there,
the wind felt like it was really against us, so
I thought, on the way back, it'll be pushing us. Right.
So we get there, we can't find a lunch spot
that can like accommodate allergy. It's just like chaos. We
(12:23):
finally find a place, have a great lunch, and the
it's time to go back, and she's like I'm not
I'm not getting on the bike. And I'm like, well,
I want to ride the bike. You want to I
want to be on the bike.
Speaker 1 (12:34):
Ok.
Speaker 2 (12:34):
Yeah, it's like beautiful outside, and so I go maybe
the bike rental place. I'm sure people rent bikes all
the time and then they can't get back, Like they
get to where they're going and then can't get back.
I'm sure they have a system where they like can
come pick you up. So she calls and he's like, yeah,
you're uh, just get on the bus. Like I'll tell
you what bus stop to get on and it'll just
bring you straight back.
Speaker 1 (12:55):
So she gets on the wrong bus.
Speaker 2 (12:57):
No, So she just we walk her to the bus
and she's like, see ya with her bike.
Speaker 1 (13:01):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (13:02):
The guy the bus driver gets out helps her like
put it on and everything. And she still has her
helmet on getting on the bus.
Speaker 1 (13:09):
Oh my god, why.
Speaker 2 (13:12):
I did feel she's like waving at us. And so
we we get back, probably like twenty minutes after she
got back to the bike place, and uh, she's like,
I got recognized so many times. No on the bus
because you still have your helmet. That was sad, Yeah,
she had. She was like, I've never made a better decision.

I was like, were you upset that? I felt a little?
I was torn on.
Speaker 1 (13:36):
You left her.
Speaker 2 (13:37):
Well, if she had been injured or something, I of
course would not have let her go by herself. But
she just didn't want to ride back. Yeah, and she
said she had some knee pain. But I was like,
I think it's more so the lack of wanting to
ride back. But she was like, no, I was just
happy looking out the window. We saw her bus past.

But the whole time we were there.

Also the fact that you guys were only twenty minutes
behind her. Is also sad, like, how slow was that
bus going.
Speaker 2 (14:04):
I'm sure it had to make stole. But we the
whole time we were there, we stayed at our friends
that her Gabby's parents have a home there. It's just
like it.
Speaker 1 (14:14):
Was beautiful, magical.

It couldn't have been a more perfect trip. But our
bed was I think a queen and we have a
king at home.

And nice that she's a dream.

I woke up every morning with like on the edge
of the bed and she was like on top of me,
and so I was like, Okay, thank god we don't
have a queen bed, and she was like, I've never
slept better.

So then she saw this article that Matthew McConaughey said
the Queen bed is Queen Mattress is.

was like, absolutely not, why because I already don't have space,
Like even in the king bed, we have too much space.

I get on Instagram after having this conversation with Haley,
and Tania posts a screenshot of her sending Robbie at
text about getting a clean mattress, and I'm like, am
I marrying a Tanya?

It did not go over well for me either. Let
me just tell you that it was met well, you're
married to re Becca. Yeah, it was met with I
need my room. I need my space in order to sleep.

Whenn of the poon needs to stretch, he needs to
be able to sprawl.

He doesn't even sprawl. That's the thing, Like neither one
of us really move.

just want to spend this summer in Maine. It's so beautiful.

have even given him a love interest and then we
see something happen for him in the movie.

just ends with him being okay being alone because I
felt like he that was his struggle. But did you

And then like the episode started with immediately Conrad being
there and singer, I was like, dang, but yeah, I
felt like it was a satisfactory ending.

a thirty eight year old woman, but I rewatched that
dress scene dress way too many times.

they had chemistry, I think more people would have felt

Well, we're still finishing our home renovations. Yes, coming to

was just magical love that one of the days we
went on a bike. Okay, so there were the on
Martha's Vineyard. There's all these trails and there's some like
by the woods, there's one along the beach, and Marlowe
was like, oh my gosh, I'd love to ride a bike.
And so we're like, let's go rent bikes and just ride. Well,

we go to get the bikes and then it was
decided that we were going to drive to this town
that was probably it was like six miles like from
the bike rental spot. So we get on.

It's not bad on a bike, yeah, you would.

Think it wouldn't be. And Haley kind of halfway through
looks at me and she's like, my knee is hurting,
Like I don't think I'm gonna I don't want to
ride back, like I'm not gonna be able to do it,
And I'm like, okay, well, let's just get where we're going.

Bikes, you gotta get back.

So we bike, and in my mind, I'm like, let's
just once we get there, we'll stop, we'll get lunch,
we'll have a break before we have to get back
on and right bike back. And on the way there,
the wind felt like it was really against us, so
I thought, on the way back, it'll be pushing us. Right.
So we get there, we can't find a lunch spot
that can like accommodate allergy. It's just like chaos. We

finally find a place, have a great lunch, and the
it's time to go back, and she's like I'm not
I'm not getting on the bike. And I'm like, well,
I want to ride the bike. You want to I
want to be on the bike.

Yeah, it's like beautiful outside, and so I go maybe
the bike rental place. I'm sure people rent bikes all
the time and then they can't get back, Like they
get to where they're going and then can't get back.
I'm sure they have a system where they like can
come pick you up. So she calls and he's like, yeah,
you're uh, just get on the bus. Like I'll tell
you what bus stop to get on and it'll just
bring you straight back.

So she gets on the wrong bus.

No, So she just we walk her to the bus
and she's like, see ya with her bike.

The guy the bus driver gets out helps her like
put it on and everything. And she still has her
helmet on getting on the bus.

I did feel she's like waving at us. And so
we we get back, probably like twenty minutes after she
got back to the bike place, and uh, she's like,
I got recognized so many times. No on the bus
because you still have your helmet. That was sad, Yeah,
she had. She was like, I've never made a better decision.

I was like, were you upset that? I felt a little?
I was torn on.

Well, if she had been injured or something, I of
course would not have let her go by herself. But

said she had some knee pain. But I was like,
I think it's more so the lack of wanting to

happy looking out the window. We saw her bus past.

it's like it's a lot of love, right, And I
just finished Love Island UK and Love Island USA. Wow.
