Speaker 1 (00:00):
Scrubbing In with Beca Tilly and Tanya rad and iHeartRadio
and two time People's Choice Award winning podcast.
Speaker 2 (00:10):
Hello everyone, we are scrubbing it.
Speaker 1 (00:15):
Yes we are.
Speaker 2 (00:16):
I remembered, I remember to do it right today.
Speaker 1 (00:19):
Yeah, it's been a minute.
Speaker 2 (00:20):
Sorry for the late podcast. Well we miss Monday. We did,
we did, indeed spoiler alert, and we told him we'd
be here Wednesday.
Speaker 1 (00:28):
Spoiler alert.
Speaker 2 (00:29):
But we're here today, Yes, on a Thursday. Yes, how
are you doing?
Speaker 1 (00:36):
Uploaded question? Oh my god, look at me. What's going on?
I have been on the verge of tears. Do you
just need to let it out?
Speaker 2 (00:45):
Maybe you just need to cry, you know, when you're
holding it back?
Speaker 1 (00:49):
Yeah, I know, I like tear up and then I
would just like do this. Yeah you just said that
I would tear up and then I would just do this.
Speaker 2 (00:56):
It's trying to get out. Yeah, it's called a release
for a reason. Let it go.
Speaker 1 (01:00):
Yeah, let it go.
Speaker 2 (01:03):
Let it go.
Speaker 1 (01:05):
Can't hold it back and anymore or Kleenex?
Speaker 2 (01:08):
Does Mark have his paper towel stack over there?
Speaker 1 (01:13):
It's just.
Speaker 2 (01:18):
So anyway to be a podcast, just just hormonal feelings.
Speaker 1 (01:24):
I think, so, you know, just uh, everything's fine.
Speaker 2 (01:32):
Yeah, everything's fine.
Speaker 1 (01:34):
Everything's fine. It's giving ross. That's what I feel like
because I'm like it's fine. I am like everything's fine.
Like disappointments in life and you know, yeah, I thinks.
Speaker 2 (01:48):
Just sometimes days just you need to cry. Yeah, like
sometimes you just need to let it go.
Speaker 1 (01:54):
Yeah, okay, but I want to have fun with you.
I have just working.
Speaker 2 (02:00):
We can you know what, two things can exist and once.
Speaker 1 (02:04):
Taught me anything. That's what it's tough.
Speaker 2 (02:06):
We're gonna have a release and we can have fun.
Speaker 1 (02:08):
Yeah, let's have fun.
Speaker 2 (02:09):
Okay, how was Vegas?
Speaker 1 (02:11):
Oh my god? Okay, so loved your looks. Thank you.
I appreciate that. I met Leah and Miguel from Love Island.
Speaker 2 (02:21):
Wait, okay, yeah that was like takeaway. Did you know
you were meeting or like because you presented with her,
didn't you?
Speaker 1 (02:28):
I did like a hit for the Hulu stream with her,
So I knew, like I think on Thursday or like
two days before I went out, I knew I was
potentially gonna like talk to her.
Speaker 2 (02:38):
But not much preparation.
Speaker 1 (02:41):
No, and you know what's so funny? Okay, so she's
she she presented with Ryan. So Ryan and her are
doing their pre reads okay, and they're talking and I
think Ryan sees me out of the corner of his
eye and he was like lurking, lurking, and he's like, oh,
Tanya's a big love island. I come sprinting over there
because I was so excited. I'm like, oh my gosh,
(03:01):
I'm such a fan. I love you, And like Miguel
was there and I was like, I love you too, Miguel.
And I was just like just totally like word vomiting
with them. So mind you, do you know how to
say her last name?
Speaker 2 (03:14):
Do I have a a teb?
Speaker 1 (03:17):
I think catub? Honestly, I don't even know because I
had it in my head. I go, I don't know
how to actually say her last name, but when I
talked to her before the Hulu stream, I'll ask her
how to correctly pronounce it right right. I was in
my such my fangirl hayese. I forgot, I forgot, and
(03:37):
I was just like telling her all this stuff about
how excited I was that they're still I can't believe
they're still together, and like what's going on with Janey
and like you know what I mean, Like I'm just
like in it and then they look at me and
they're like five four three. So then we were on
and then I had to announce her. I had to
present her, and I think I said her name wrong
because I didn't ask her and I didn't practice. So
(03:59):
it just like really taught me a lesson to always
be prepared before I go into the night because I
was just so embarrassed.
Speaker 2 (04:05):
Do you know for the longest time, because that's her
Instagram name is her first and last name, but I
thought her name was Leah Kate and then her last
name started with a b oh, so I always thought
it was Leah Kate and then something and then I
heard I can't remember. I unfortunately can't remember how they
say it. But I mean, when we know them.
Speaker 1 (04:24):
K TEB and it's definitely not k TB. I think
it's Katab or something.
Speaker 2 (04:27):
I don't think it's k TEB. I feel confident it's not.
But I feel like we watched those shows and we
don't know their last name.
Speaker 1 (04:37):
We just know Leah from Love Island. Like I was like,
can I intro her? Is Leah from Love Island? They
were like no, and I was like, Okay, everybody just
wants their full name in there.
Speaker 2 (04:47):
Yeah, they want to be recognized for independently. Yeah, independently
because she is.
Speaker 1 (04:52):
Like she is a chief creative officer of her perfume brand.
Speaker 2 (04:58):
Oh.
Speaker 1 (04:58):
I see, So that's kind of what she's leaning into it.
I don't think she wants to be like known as
like Love Islandle. I think she wants to be like known.
Speaker 2 (05:04):
I think the first year after coming off a reality show,
then you are you are your name from whatever show
you were on. But now that it's surpassed that and
she still has this level of fame, she can now
move on to just being her own.
Speaker 1 (05:16):
Yeah. And I don't know, I mean, it was totally
my bad, Like, it was totally my fault.
Speaker 2 (05:20):
I don't know if I've talked about this on the podcast,
but one of my biggest things that caused me causes
me anxiety. You know, this is when I go to
introduce a guest, yeah, in front of them, and I
don't say their name right, yes, like my biggest fear,
so I write, I always go like, wait, how do
you say this name?
Speaker 1 (05:37):
I happened a lot when we were in Chicago for Epicnean, Yeah,
you were like h and Tanya I'm always like, will
you do it?
Speaker 2 (05:45):
Will you do it? And she's like, no, you always
do it. So I'm always on the edge of my
like a panic anxiety feeling of having to do that.
So I actually really resonate with you in this regard.
Speaker 1 (05:59):
I can I be honest. Also, I also too, so
the fact that you say the names is like quite
the blessing on this podcast because I also have that
like anxiety and I will I've in my mind I
know the people whose names I've said wrong. Hm. There
was this one girl. I'm going to look her up
on Instagram because I don't know I even asked her
because her last name was kind of hard and well.
Speaker 2 (06:22):
My thing is if someone some people say Tyly instead
of Tilly, if they don't know my last name. But
I never am offended or bothered by it, so I
don't I think I should maybe take that approach that
there's most of the time there's grace, especially if you
have a name that's difficult to pronounce. Her is like
your last name.
Speaker 1 (06:40):
I want to say, I wouldn't give a guy, wouldn't care,
Like I literally wouldn't care for the people Roddy Savieviach,
but there's a j in there by the way. Yeah,
I mean the people butcher it left and right, and
I just They're like, did I say it right? And
I'm like close enough, even though it's like not like
you know, I just whatever right, but it like really
sticks out the Like there was this girl I was
hosting Anne and her name was like kind of tricky,
(07:01):
and I literally like sat down with her and said like,
this is how you say this. And then I got
up on stage and I say it the wrong way again.
I'm like, something's wrong with me? Me too.
Speaker 2 (07:09):
I did that at Epic Clunter.
Speaker 1 (07:11):
I remember, Yeah, it's very stressful.
Speaker 2 (07:13):
It is, well, okay, so you met, Like, I hope
she forgives me, or that she didn't even hear me.
Speaker 1 (07:18):
That's I hope.
Speaker 2 (07:19):
She was probably nervous about her line, so I'm sure
she just was.
Speaker 1 (07:22):
In one ear off the other, I hope so. Because
so then she leaves to go do her presentation with
Ryan and Miguel gets somehow because I'm talking to him,
somehow he gets stuck with us because they already like
walked off stage. I was like, yes, but it was
so cute because there was like a little prompter on
the side of the stage where you can see what's
going on, and he was filming Leah presenting. I know,
(07:47):
it was so cute. He's like so kind. I couldn't
get over how nice he was, I know, and like
you could tell you just joy lives inside him. Oh
my gosh, that is.
Speaker 2 (07:58):
The nicest compliment someone could say.
Speaker 1 (08:00):
No, I mean it like joy lives inside him. Wow,
it exudes.
Speaker 2 (08:03):
I hope he hears this.
Speaker 1 (08:04):
Yeah, it exudes.
Speaker 2 (08:05):
I wonder if we could get them on the podcast.
Speaker 1 (08:09):
I mean, I'd love nothing more.
Speaker 2 (08:12):
But did you meet anyone else that you were excited about?
Speaker 1 (08:15):
I met ej from Hunt Tricks, so from she plays
she sings the part of roomy. Wow.
Speaker 2 (08:23):
Hayley would be so jealous. She was obsessed with them.
Speaker 1 (08:27):
I'm pretty a pope too. And I had her do
a video for my step son because he's also obsessed,
and she was like really cute in the video, said
his name and yeah, he was really excited.
Speaker 2 (08:38):
Well overall, how was the weekend?
Speaker 1 (08:40):
Really fun?
Speaker 2 (08:41):
Favorite performances Tate McCrae, she's so ed, Sharon h and
Maroon five.
Speaker 1 (08:47):
Wow, I know, Maroon five just came out and did all.
Speaker 2 (08:49):
Their hits as they should.
Speaker 1 (08:51):
I know, like that, you know, like those artists that
come out and they want to like force their new
music on you, and you're just like, gimme, she will
be loved. Right, they did it.
Speaker 2 (08:59):
That's good. Yeah, they give the people what they want.
Some people need to just be self aware enough.
Speaker 1 (09:05):
Yeah. Even Ryan Carrie did that too, Like she was
throwing it back back, back back, and I was like,
thank you. And she has a new album coming out.
She could have sang all new songs.
Speaker 2 (09:12):
She just wants people to remember how iconic she is. Yeah,
She's like she did it. Yeah, yeah, she did her job.
Speaker 1 (09:18):
Yeah. So Friday night, because I'm in my soft girl era,
so I'm not really drinking. But by the time I
get back to my room, it's like two am. By
the time I go to sleep on Friday, I get
up at like seven, my normal time. I do my
thing in the bathroom. I FaceTime Robbie. I called Paulina,
like just do a couple things like on the phone.
So I'm up for like an hour. I lay my
head back down out till twelve thirty pm noon half
(09:43):
past noon.
Speaker 2 (09:44):
Oh my god.
Speaker 1 (09:45):
I was like I was in my phone. I had
glam at three. I was like, I guess I was
staying in my room. Yeah, didn't where I have to
be nowhere.
Speaker 2 (09:53):
Proud of you.
Speaker 1 (09:53):
Yeah, I was crazy.
Speaker 2 (09:55):
Wow, that's actually unheard of from you.
Speaker 1 (09:57):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (09:58):
She's in her soft girl era.
Speaker 1 (10:00):
Yeah, so it's a little bit about me. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (10:02):
I loved your looks. I loved the pink. I felt
like it was so you and your essence and bubbly
and Barbie and all the things. And I loved the
the just switch up the next night.
Speaker 1 (10:12):
Leather not naughty girl.
Speaker 2 (10:16):
I don't like that, like edgy.
Speaker 1 (10:17):
She's a little naughty, naughty nice.
Speaker 2 (10:20):
No you don't like that.
Speaker 1 (10:22):
No.
Speaker 2 (10:24):
We went to Martha's vineyard and.
Speaker 1 (10:26):
Did you get the crisp air that you've been seeking?
Speaker 2 (10:29):
No, crisper it was. There was some slight.
Speaker 1 (10:33):
Chill in the seventy with a chill.
Speaker 2 (10:36):
Yeah, sure, seventy is cold. In the morning it would
warm up. It was beautiful though it was. It was
actually leading up to the trip it was gonna rain
a lot, uh, which I was actually fine with. But
we went for our friends baby shower, and so I
at least wanted that day to be nice. And as
we kept getting closer. The other days were nice, and
then and then that it was gonna be rain and
(10:58):
her baby shower. It was. We were on the beach
and it was the most beautiful sunset I feel like
I've ever seen.
Speaker 1 (11:05):
And it did.
Speaker 2 (11:07):
Oh, it was like beautiful and perfect and everything. It
was just magical love that one of the days we
went on a bike. Okay, so there were the on
Martha's Vineyard. There's all these trails and there's some like
by the woods, there's one along the beach, and Marlowe
was like, oh my gosh, I'd love to ride a bike.
And so we're like, let's go rent bikes and just ride. Well,
(11:30):
we go to get the bikes and then it was
decided that we were going to drive to this town
that was probably it was like six miles like from
the bike rental spot. So we get on.
Speaker 1 (11:41):
It's not bad on a bike, yeah, you would.
Speaker 2 (11:44):
Think it wouldn't be. And Haley kind of halfway through
looks at me and she's like, my knee is hurting,
Like I don't think I'm gonna I don't want to
ride back, like I'm not gonna be able to do it,
And I'm like, okay, well, let's just get where we're going.
Speaker 1 (11:58):
Bikes, you gotta get back.
Speaker 2 (12:00):
So we bike, and in my mind, I'm like, let's
just once we get there, we'll stop, we'll get lunch,
we'll have a break before we have to get back
on and right bike back. And on the way there,
the wind felt like it was really against us, so
I thought, on the way back, it'll be pushing us. Right.
So we get there, we can't find a lunch spot
that can like accommodate allergy. It's just like chaos. We
(12:23):
finally find a place, have a great lunch, and the
it's time to go back, and she's like I'm not
I'm not getting on the bike. And I'm like, well,
I want to ride the bike. You want to I
want to be on the bike.
Speaker 1 (12:34):
Ok.
Speaker 2 (12:34):
Yeah, it's like beautiful outside, and so I go maybe
the bike rental place. I'm sure people rent bikes all
the time and then they can't get back, Like they
get to where they're going and then can't get back.
I'm sure they have a system where they like can
come pick you up. So she calls and he's like, yeah,
you're uh, just get on the bus. Like I'll tell
you what bus stop to get on and it'll just
bring you straight back.
Speaker 1 (12:55):
So she gets on the wrong bus.
Speaker 2 (12:57):
No, So she just we walk her to the bus
and she's like, see ya with her bike.
Speaker 1 (13:01):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (13:02):
The guy the bus driver gets out helps her like
put it on and everything. And she still has her
helmet on getting on the bus.
Speaker 1 (13:09):
Oh my god, why.
Speaker 2 (13:12):
I did feel she's like waving at us. And so
we we get back, probably like twenty minutes after she
got back to the bike place, and uh, she's like,
I got recognized so many times. No on the bus
because you still have your helmet. That was sad, Yeah,
she had. She was like, I've never made a better decision.
(13:33):
I was like, were you upset that? I felt a little?
I was torn on.
Speaker 1 (13:36):
You left her.
Speaker 2 (13:37):
Well, if she had been injured or something, I of
course would not have let her go by herself. But
she just didn't want to ride back. Yeah, and she
said she had some knee pain. But I was like,
I think it's more so the lack of wanting to
ride back. But she was like, no, I was just
happy looking out the window. We saw her bus past.
(13:57):
But the whole time we were there.
Speaker 1 (14:00):
Also the fact that you guys were only twenty minutes
behind her. Is also sad, like, how slow was that
bus going.
Speaker 2 (14:04):
I'm sure it had to make stole. But we the
whole time we were there, we stayed at our friends
that her Gabby's parents have a home there. It's just
like it.
Speaker 1 (14:14):
Was beautiful, magical.
Speaker 2 (14:16):
It couldn't have been a more perfect trip. But our
bed was I think a queen and we have a
king at home.
Speaker 1 (14:22):
And nice that she's a dream.
Speaker 2 (14:24):
I woke up every morning with like on the edge
of the bed and she was like on top of me,
and so I was like, Okay, thank god we don't
have a queen bed, and she was like, I've never
slept better.
Speaker 1 (14:37):
Oh.
Speaker 2 (14:37):
So then she saw this article that Matthew McConaughey said
the Queen bed is Queen Mattress is.
Speaker 1 (14:43):
The thirteen year marriage.
Speaker 2 (14:45):
Oh marriage, And she sent it to me and I
was like, absolutely not, why because I already don't have space,
Like even in the king bed, we have too much space.
Speaker 1 (14:58):
There's like a way too much space in between.
Speaker 2 (15:02):
I get on Instagram after having this conversation with Haley,
and Tania posts a screenshot of her sending Robbie at
text about getting a clean mattress, and I'm like, am
I marrying a Tanya?
Speaker 1 (15:17):
It did not go over well for me either. Let
me just tell you that it was met well, you're
married to re Becca. Yeah, it was met with I
need my room. I need my space in order to sleep.
Speaker 2 (15:27):
Whenn of the poon needs to stretch, he needs to
be able to sprawl.
Speaker 1 (15:32):
He doesn't even sprawl. That's the thing, Like neither one
of us really move.
Speaker 2 (15:36):
So why do you need a That's what I'm.
Speaker 1 (15:38):
Saying, why do we need a king?
Speaker 2 (15:39):
We just I was gonna say, why do you need
a clean to be closer?
Speaker 1 (15:43):
We're so far apart, but.
Speaker 2 (15:44):
Why can't you be close?
Speaker 1 (15:46):
But he wants me to get on the other side.
That's smaller that I can be close.
Speaker 2 (15:51):
You're a dilemma for him. Yeah it's tough, but yeah,
we had the best time. It made me want to
I've always I think it started with watching the summer
I turned pretty. It made me feel like I wanted
this summer home on the East coast. Oh yeah, and
I just love that concept.
Speaker 1 (16:09):
I feel like everybody wants that, Like literally, it's not
an original thought that I never wanted that.
Speaker 2 (16:16):
Have you spent a lot of time over there. No, yeah,
I think you would really enjoy it.
Speaker 1 (16:21):
Like I've never like, I've never even said those words,
but I feel like everybody to me is like, I
just want to spend this summer in Maine. It's so beautiful.
Speaker 2 (16:29):
There's just a different air out there. Oh, different energy.
But yeah, speaking up, did you finish summer? I turned
pretty I did? What'd you think?
Speaker 1 (16:41):
I'm just like so upset.
Speaker 2 (16:43):
Oh, because she didn't choose Jeremiah.
Speaker 1 (16:45):
Yeah, and like now he's cooking and like dating this
other girl, Like what the hell?
Speaker 2 (16:49):
Like plot Twiss, I think what I wish since they're
doing a movie, I wish that.
Speaker 1 (16:54):
The triangle lasted a little bit longer.
Speaker 2 (16:57):
Nuts Well, I guess they could have extended that or
just like had her in the series on her own
and then have them come together for the movie. But
I felt like the Jeremiah thing, it was like, when
did he become this prevalent prominent chef in the industry?
Speaker 1 (17:13):
So random?
Speaker 2 (17:14):
And then like why did it have to be within?
Why did he I don't know. I wish they wouldn't
have even given him a love interest and then we
see something happen for him in the movie.
Speaker 1 (17:25):
Oh, like she ends up ditching Conrad and going back
to Jeremiah.
Speaker 2 (17:28):
Not Belly. I'm saying Jeremiah just like kind of it
just ends with him being okay being alone because I
felt like he that was his struggle. But did you
see my theory on what I thought was gonna happen?
Speaker 1 (17:41):
Which part I put? Yeah? Yeah?
Speaker 2 (17:45):
And then like the episode started with immediately Conrad being
there and singer, I was like, dang, but yeah, I
felt like it was a satisfactory ending.
Speaker 1 (17:54):
You did.
Speaker 2 (17:55):
I mean I didn't feel.
Speaker 1 (17:57):
I will say, and this is so embarrassing because I'm
a thirty eight year old woman, but I rewatched that
dress scene dress way too many times.
Speaker 2 (18:07):
To acknowledge their chemistry is so much better than hers
with Jeremiah.
Speaker 1 (18:12):
I think you're wrong on that. It's okay. I just
think you're wrong on that.
Speaker 2 (18:17):
No, because you watched it twice. Did you watch any
of the Belly Jeremiah scenes.
Speaker 1 (18:21):
They intentionally didn't have as steamy of scenes. Oh, this
was the whole plot the whole time.
Speaker 2 (18:27):
You didn't want to root for them, No, But if
they had chemistry, I think more people would have felt
conflicted about who they were.
Speaker 1 (18:34):
Hard to it's hard to say. Also, there's like this
like crowd mentality of everybody, like loving Conrad, you know, like.
Speaker 2 (18:41):
You don't like to be bold.
Speaker 1 (18:43):
Wow, I think differently.
Speaker 2 (18:45):
Yeah, can you believe we're almost in October?
Speaker 1 (18:49):
Yes, there's so much in October? Oh my gosh, but
we should I.
Speaker 2 (18:53):
Was gonna say, take a break, let's take a break.
All right, we're back. So we are a week away
(19:15):
from October.
Speaker 1 (19:16):
Some pretty easy.
Speaker 2 (19:17):
It's still very hot in la As you know, this
is my main complaint.
Speaker 1 (19:21):
It is very hot but cold everywhere else. So I'm like,
I'm full fall.
Speaker 2 (19:26):
You're just cossplaying.
Speaker 1 (19:27):
How was I in a pea coat yesterday? With like
what are those pants that aren't jeans? Corduroy? Oh? I
was in corduroy pants with ugs and a jacket and
Mark was like, what are you wearing? You know what?
It's end of September and it's cold in the studio,
so it's fall for me.
Speaker 2 (19:43):
I mean, you wear a puffer vest you're around.
Speaker 1 (19:45):
Exactly, who am I to follow suit?
Speaker 2 (19:48):
Cordery pants? Have nothing on you exactly? But yeah, we
are in the month of October. I have a very
busy October.
Speaker 1 (19:58):
Talk to me about it.
Speaker 2 (19:59):
Well, we're still finishing our home renovations. Yes, coming to
a close, but still coming. Nonetheless, next week, I'm going
to Rise Festival.
Speaker 1 (20:10):
You are you decided?
Speaker 2 (20:12):
Yes?
Speaker 1 (20:13):
Yeah, you I was going, I said, I said, I'm debating, debating.
Speaker 2 (20:18):
Yeah, I'm gonna go for one night. I don't need
I don't feel like I need to go for two nights.
But I've always wanted to see the lanterns. You know,
they like the lanterns.
Speaker 1 (20:28):
Oh the band. I was like them, shoot here I go. No,
the lanterns that go into the sky.
Speaker 2 (20:39):
Yeah, I always wanted to light one of those and
send it up. So we're gonna. I'm gonna do that.
But I was like, I don't need to do it
two nights in a row. So I think I'm gonna
go Saturday nice, come back Sunday nice because Jordan arrives.
So that was the other thing. I was like, if
I just go alone, I can just stay in JoJo's
hotel room because Jordan doesn't get there till Sunday. Is no.
(20:59):
That goes John Mayer's on Sunday night.
Speaker 1 (21:02):
It goes, it goes Friday, Saturday, Sunday. Yeah, oh oh,
I see. So he'll come Sunday morning and do the
whole thing Sunday, gotcha, gotcha?
Speaker 2 (21:11):
So I'm doing that. And then the next weekend, a
group of girls from Chris the season of the Bachelor
are gonna meet up in Nashville. So I'm gonna see
I haven't seen some of them in forever.
Speaker 1 (21:23):
The weekend of October tenth, you're gonna be gone. Yeah,
oh why, it's fine.
Speaker 2 (21:28):
Why do you does something happening?
Speaker 1 (21:30):
No?
Speaker 2 (21:32):
Literally, oh you're just let me know, ye, let me know.
Speaker 1 (21:35):
You're just you're gonna be in Nashville. Who's going, Ashley, I,
I organize this.
Speaker 2 (21:41):
Jade, Caitlin, Whitney, Carly. Yeah, I know.
Speaker 1 (21:47):
I'm so excited organized it.
Speaker 2 (21:48):
It was like a group chat. I think Caitlyn Bristo.
Speaker 1 (21:53):
Like just said, hey, guys, let's all do like a weekend.
Speaker 2 (21:55):
I think we were just chit chatting. Oh, we were
talking about a TikTok trend or something, and then there
was like should we get together? And then this date
came up and everyone's like I can do it, I
can do it, and we all just were like, let's
book our flight. So it just happened. That's really cute.
You know, I'm really excited because we it's been a decade.
Speaker 1 (22:13):
Carley, what's your last name?
Speaker 2 (22:14):
Whatdell?
Speaker 1 (22:15):
That's what I was thinking.
Speaker 2 (22:16):
Yeah, but they all you know, actually, Carly, Jade, they
all have tons of kids, and Whitney tons of kids.
So the fact that everyone made it work, I was
like so excited. Yeah, Haylan and Carly live in Nashville.
Oh okay, so the rest of us are flying in.
Speaker 1 (22:33):
But I'm super It's so fun, I know.
Speaker 2 (22:36):
And then Hayley and I are thinking about just doing
my birthday trip, maybe that following weekend.
Speaker 1 (22:44):
Which is the seventeenth or something like.
Speaker 2 (22:46):
That, because I really want to see the leaves somewhere,
so we might try to go find somewhere and they'll
be gone by my actual birthday.
Speaker 1 (22:54):
The leaves because it'll be so cold. Yeah, where like
where are the leaves.
Speaker 2 (22:58):
Like East coast, so that's still in the air. And
then I think we're going to do a Halloween party
this year.
Speaker 1 (23:04):
What on actual Halloween the thirty verse.
Speaker 2 (23:08):
Yeah, because it's on a Friday.
Speaker 1 (23:10):
Correct it is, indeed.
Speaker 2 (23:11):
So that weekend, whether Friday or Saturday, and everyone, you know,
we didn't do it for a couple of years and.
Speaker 1 (23:18):
We've been demanding requesting that people have been requesting. Wow,
that's a jam, but that's something every single weekend. Mm
hmmm are you ready for that?
Speaker 2 (23:27):
I have to be you up for the task. I
have to be. That's had a pretty chill a few months,
so I feel like the opposite of you.
Speaker 1 (23:35):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (23:36):
So I feel like it'll be nice to be busy
and then we go into the holidays, which is also
kind of like slow and cozy. Actually it's never.
Speaker 1 (23:43):
Slow, No, it's like the opposite, really crazy.
Speaker 2 (23:46):
Yeah, so yeah, whoa.
Speaker 1 (23:49):
What do you want to do on your actual birthday?
Speaker 2 (23:51):
I told you I was saying mountains, I know, he
little spot day.
Speaker 1 (23:56):
Do you want to do spat day with you and Haley?
Or do you want to do with like a friend aka.
Speaker 2 (24:00):
I'd be done to do it with you and Hay.
Speaker 1 (24:04):
Oh you didn't say, do you an you want to
do a big dinner? Small dinner?
Speaker 2 (24:09):
I mean a dinner of like my close friends, which
is probably smaller, I think, more intimate where I know
it's a lot of a lot of things.
Speaker 1 (24:21):
Yeah, now that I know that your month is so busy,
I gotta hand. I gotta I gotta get you.
Speaker 2 (24:26):
Uh, I know. On the course, I know, and Haley's
like on me about picking where I want to go
for my birthday. It's a lot, but we're gonna do it.
We're gonna do it.
Speaker 1 (24:35):
Decisions, decisions. You met a scrubber, huh oh on the plane. Yeah, yeah,
I met a scrubber.
Speaker 2 (24:46):
And Martha's vineyard, you did. Yeah, we were at when
we wait, when we biked to lunch, we met. I
met a scrubber.
Speaker 1 (24:53):
So I met a scrubber on my flight to Vegas.
Her name was Sarah, and this is what really sent me.
She taps me on the shoulder and she goes. I
downloaded some episodes of Love Island Games to watch on
this flight. I was like, I didn't even know Love
Island Games premiered, So I was like shook and excited
at the same time. But I think that I'm a
(25:14):
little bit in like love show overload because I just
finished Love is Blind UK. Okay, so I watched Love
is Blind UK. Now I'm watching Love Island Games. So
it's like it's a lot of love, right, And I
just finished Love Island UK and Love Island USA. Wow.
Speaker 2 (25:27):
Yeah, who's on Love Island games.
Speaker 1 (25:30):
So it's it's they take them from like all over.
So love Island UK, people, Love Island, USA, Love Island
anyone on Netherlands. Kendall Andrina Andrea from two seasons ago,
Chris from this last season. I don't think anybody else
you would know. Okay, it's a good cast.
Speaker 2 (25:50):
Oh okay, you're excited about it.
Speaker 1 (25:52):
I'm excited. But that's you know, that's good to know,
do you? What do you know what you guys are
gonna be for Halloween?
Speaker 2 (25:58):
We've thrown around some up but nothing has been solid
a stone. What about y'all? You always go really big
in hardcore?
Speaker 1 (26:06):
I know, and I fear that it's too late to
like get something of a month busy month. My month
is also stacked. Oh yeah, but we don't have like
a solid plan. We're thinking about doing Wicked, I.
Speaker 2 (26:21):
Mean classic, I know, I have the face paint. What
do you need? I have a costume.
Speaker 1 (26:27):
Yeah that's up there.
Speaker 2 (26:28):
That'd be so funny if he was Alpha B that's
he would be.
Speaker 1 (26:32):
Yeah. Obviously, that's so good, is it?
Speaker 2 (26:36):
I think that's brilliant.
Speaker 1 (26:37):
I mean, and then I was like, maybe I'll be
a K pop demon hunter and he could be a
sougy boy.
Speaker 2 (26:43):
I mean that would be good too, very popular.
Speaker 1 (26:45):
Everybody's going to be doing that. That's my kind of
my only thing. And then I was like, maybe we
just do Danny and Sandy from Grease, like throw back,
very cute.
Speaker 2 (26:52):
If y'all went like all out, it could be very.
Speaker 1 (26:56):
Cute, I know, but I'm like, it's not. So it's
like a guy with brown hair and a blonde girl,
you know what I mean.
Speaker 2 (27:02):
Yeah, but it's getting your hair. If you did the
end scene where they're in the all black. Yeah, let's
say it could really y'all could really match look very
similar to them. Oh yeah, we have a few we
Haley wants to be. Do you remember zene On No
(27:22):
of the twenty percent that brings a bell Protozoa, the
guy who's like the pop singer who comes to space
or whatever.
Speaker 1 (27:29):
She wants to be him? So random. And then we
watched it.
Speaker 2 (27:33):
Yeah, we watched Xenon recently. Huh, but we gotta I'm
just not seeing it for her, but you know, I
let her take the lead on Halloween costumes because she
gets very into it, and I just order what I
need and call it a day.
Speaker 1 (27:48):
Is your house going to be done by Halloween? Oh?
Speaker 2 (27:50):
God willing? I sure?
Speaker 1 (27:52):
But are you for sure going to do the party?
Speaker 2 (27:55):
I mean I feel like we're like eighty percent going
to do the party.
Speaker 1 (27:57):
Eighty pretty high up there, one hundred minus twenty.
Speaker 2 (28:01):
I know. Wait. So Julia Roberts was asked about doing
like who she'd invite for a night out? And I
thought the list was interesting in something we could do,
but we'll do when we come up, all right, all right,
(28:32):
So if you had a night out and you could
invite this her, Julia Roberts did seven people, but feels kind.
Speaker 1 (28:40):
Of cumbersome, feels like a big just alles four?
Speaker 2 (28:44):
Okay, do you have four? Well? Hers were her husband,
Danny Motor, Jesus, Joni Mitchell, Virginia Woolf, Van Morrison, her
best friend from high school, Page who's also her daughter's godmother,
and Edward and in Full himself. No know who that is?
Do I know? Do you know who that is? No?
(29:07):
I think Jesus is a good one. Yeah, of where
he'd want to go for a night out, But Jesus,
who would you pick?
Speaker 1 (29:17):
I would?
Speaker 2 (29:18):
I would also bring Haley. Do you know one time
we were at a Billie Eilish concert before she really
blew up. It was that like the uh Wiltern or something,
and we sat next to Julie Roberts and Haley was
just like chatting with her. Cute, like she's iconic.
Speaker 1 (29:36):
Yeah, who would I do you have? People?
Speaker 2 (29:40):
Off the top of your head?
Speaker 1 (29:41):
I mean, like, my mind goes to.
Speaker 2 (29:42):
Like Oprah, why just for a wild night out?
Speaker 1 (29:47):
Yeah, I don't know, Like I just would love to
talk to her. Yeah, my mind goes to Taylor Swift.
My mind goes to Catherine, the Princess of the UK.
Speaker 2 (29:59):
Oh my gosh, that's a good one.
Speaker 1 (30:00):
Yeah, I would love to her.
Speaker 2 (30:02):
I'd love to just ask them I'm bringing you so
that we can both have a night out with the Duchess.
Speaker 1 (30:08):
Not the Duchess's the princess, the Princess, Princess Kate. And
then this is like so random, but I would want
Ariel the.
Speaker 2 (30:16):
Little Mermaid the cartoon.
Speaker 1 (30:19):
Yeah. I have a couple of questions for her too.
What do you have for her? What's it like being
a mermaid? Okay, having a fin and feet? I mean
who else could answer that?
Speaker 2 (30:34):
Just her? Just the animation herself? Interesting, trying to think
of people who Robbie, Robbie, Robbie obviously, obviously we need
Robbie there. Yeah, let me think of this. This feels
like a big thing.
Speaker 1 (30:54):
You asked.
Speaker 2 (30:57):
She's like, it feels like I for some reason, my
brain takes these things very seriously.
Speaker 1 (31:04):
I know it's not so serious. Do you see Kamila Cabayo.
Did you see the Kamalabao sorry from this week?
Speaker 2 (31:11):
Oh?
Speaker 1 (31:11):
Did?
Speaker 2 (31:11):
She performed at the per wedding.
Speaker 1 (31:14):
She met me at a bar and then she was like, oh,
hey girl, I'm gonna dance to your song for my
father daughter dance. She's like, hey girl, let me sing
it for you, comes in like a ball gown and
sings it. It's so sweet, so sweet, and like, also,
what are the odds that Kamala Cabeo's in that bar
when this girl's getting married?
Speaker 2 (31:33):
What are the odds?
Speaker 1 (31:35):
Well, you think it's somebody.
Speaker 2 (31:36):
I'm just gonna okay. One of my favorite I was
gonna text you this last night. One of my.
Speaker 1 (31:43):
Favorite when when in doubt, always text.
Speaker 2 (31:47):
I know I should have. I love watching Fifth Harmony
edits on TikTok. It's one of my favorite things because
there's something where they were like never quite in sync,
like there was always something like just a little chaotic
about them. But people in the comments are always like, man,
they were a mess, but they're my mess, and I
(32:09):
always just I don't that's how I feel something just
like never one hundred aligned.
Speaker 1 (32:16):
Yeah, but it was great.
Speaker 2 (32:19):
Yeah, it was a time.
Speaker 1 (32:20):
It worked work.
Speaker 2 (32:23):
Are you watching the Interior Stars? Lauren's on it?
Speaker 1 (32:26):
I know, or something like oh that the Tharma girls
are She's like yeah, all four three. I was like, oh,
I felt pointed, well are you watching?
Speaker 2 (32:37):
I weirdly watched it on the plane on the way
home because they had live television shout out to jet Blue,
and so I watched it, and it's a really good season.
Speaker 1 (32:48):
Tell me more.
Speaker 2 (32:49):
I mean, I think Robert Irwin is going to be
at the top with Whitney. It seems that Whitney is
always going to be at the top. One thing about Whitney,
I love that for her. Yeah, however, and then Whitney
from Mormon Wives with Mark Ballas is really really good. Okay,
Lauren's really great, and yeah, Regae.
Speaker 1 (33:12):
Haddigi, here we go again.
Speaker 2 (33:15):
I thought it was but then y'all corrected me. So now,
I don't feel confident.
Speaker 1 (33:21):
They say it on like Dancing with the Stars, and
I think they say it wrong, but they probably say
it right. I would assume.
Speaker 2 (33:27):
Yeah, I know I heard her say it the way
that I think it was close.
Speaker 1 (33:31):
To how I said, how do you say it?
Speaker 2 (33:33):
I thought it was Lauren Haregae.
Speaker 1 (33:35):
Horay, It's definite a regae Sam Howdigi. Yeah, you always
seem to be the expert on her last.
Speaker 2 (33:44):
She thought Leah's name was k Teb a co.
Speaker 1 (33:50):
Teb annunciations are really not my strong suit. I don't
think she heard you, though, so she doesn't hold it
against me.
Speaker 2 (33:59):
Will you hold it against me?
Speaker 1 (34:01):
Oh?
Speaker 2 (34:01):
Hillary Duff allegedly has new music coming out.
Speaker 1 (34:05):
No, okay. I was talking to her label RAP and
I was like, Hilary Duff and she was like, nobody
has hit me up more about music than about Hillary.
Speaker 2 (34:14):
Yes, I was talking. I saw a video of her,
like one of the fashion shows, fashion Week or something,
and I was saying, she's had such an interesting career
because everyone loves her. Yes, she's never loved, yeah, beloved, beloved,
but ever like she and she was a Disney star
that wasn't corrupted by being a Disney Star.
Speaker 1 (34:34):
No, like still loves Disney at least I think, but.
Speaker 2 (34:37):
Hasn't really put anything out in forever.
Speaker 1 (34:40):
Well, the disrespect to Younger, I mean that show was
when was that though, Like I don't know, in the
two thousands.
Speaker 2 (34:47):
I know it's been that was Unfortunately that was a
long time ago.
Speaker 1 (34:52):
Really, like just yesterday. I loved that show. Yes, No,
the show Younger.
Speaker 2 (34:58):
I know what I was saying. You said, just yes.
Speaker 1 (35:01):
Well, okay, yeah, but she has this candle line too.
Speaker 2 (35:06):
Okay, I'm meant in the entertainment industry. Okay, I'm trying
to say she's had a very interesting career because there's
not many people who have had the fame and success
and haven't really put anything out in terms of music
or TV or anything. I know, and still people are
yearning for more of her.
Speaker 1 (35:26):
I know. So I went to the Jonas brother show
when they were in LA. This was a couple of
weeks ago. I can't believe I didn't talk about it,
by the way, because it was like the cutest thing ever.
I was freaking out. I also, now that I'm married
Kevin Jonas instead of reaching out to me because I
was always I was always He's the one I'm close
to in the group. I would always communicate with him
(35:48):
about like tickets and whatever, and like, now that I'm married,
he like reaches out to Robbie to coordinate everything, and
I think that's so cute and respectful.
Speaker 2 (35:56):
So nice.
Speaker 1 (35:56):
Yeah, I just think it's like so, I don't know, nice,
just like yeah, yes. But anyway, So I was at
the Jonas Brothers show and I had heard rumblings like
people were just like fans saying that the secret one
of the secret surprise performers performers was gonna be Hillary Duff.
And I was like, that is so random, like because
this was before the news came out that she was.
(36:19):
I was like, there's no way. And then she didn't
come out, and I was like where did they get
this information from? But now I'm like, oh, it makes sense.
Speaker 2 (36:26):
Who did come out.
Speaker 1 (36:27):
It was John Legend and five Sauce, which I was
thrilled about.
Speaker 2 (36:33):
Oh yeah that doesn't I mean, man, Hillary. If Hillary
Duff had come out, I know I would have felt
so jealous.
Speaker 1 (36:39):
I know.
Speaker 2 (36:42):
Anyways, we love Hillary Duff. Love looks amazing and I
just like want more.
Speaker 1 (36:46):
You know what everybody was doing after the iHeart Festival.
When iHeart Festival rapped, they were going to see Ashley
Simpson's residency. I think Sam actually went, oh, it looks
very fun. Should we go. I don't know about you,
but I know that whole album top to bottom.
Speaker 2 (37:04):
I don't know that I can say I know, yes,
yes you can, but I think I know a lot
of the songs.
Speaker 1 (37:09):
And I but my only concern is that it's very
late in the night. Sam, can you confirm, Well.
Speaker 2 (37:14):
If you sleep till twelve pm like you did at iHeart,
then we could range ten o'clock.
Speaker 1 (37:21):
But it was only like an hour. It was like
the perfect, perfect night out. Yeah, okay, So now that
I look at this, I don't know that I know
it back to front, just three albums, my gosh. But
she sang all the hits, so you would know every song.
L ob E, Pieces of Me, Laala yep aubiography that
(37:52):
was the theme song to the Ashley Simpson Show. Ah, yes, yeah, yes,
So that I look at all these, I don't know
them all, but I think I would really still enjoy
the show.
Speaker 2 (38:04):
That I'd be down. That could be a fun weekend.
Speaker 1 (38:07):
Yeah, girls, And she like comes out into the crowd
like it's like she was like singing, like you're singing
at a karaoke bar with friends. It's not it.
Speaker 2 (38:20):
I was going in different verse. What are the four
apps at the bottom of your phone screen?
Speaker 1 (38:25):
The on just my phone gave me who really? Yeah,
what are they? It's my voicemail, my email, my other
work email, and my iHeartRadio app.
Speaker 2 (38:36):
Okay, mine is not mine? Is my phone app?
Speaker 1 (38:40):
Uh?
Speaker 2 (38:41):
My Safari app?
Speaker 1 (38:42):
Uh huh?
Speaker 2 (38:44):
My text message is oh, and my WhatsApp?
Speaker 1 (38:47):
That's weird.
Speaker 2 (38:49):
Do you want to know how many mail?
Speaker 1 (38:51):
Uh?
Speaker 2 (38:52):
What my male number is, mailbox, my notifications? How many
twenty five thousand, four hundred and seventy eight emails?
Speaker 1 (38:59):
Yeah, that's crazy. But my my voicemail is always almost
full and it's at forty two voicemails right now.
Speaker 2 (39:06):
Oh, that's fool because my phone app says three hundred
and ninety nine.
Speaker 1 (39:11):
Whoa, I think.
Speaker 2 (39:13):
Here's my delete after certain you might have it on
an automatic delete.
Speaker 1 (39:17):
Oh situation. Have we hit a lull?
Speaker 2 (39:22):
Should we just call it a day?
Speaker 1 (39:24):
Call it? I'm sorry, I'm not at my best I'm
not my best self. Yesterday I was like, it's so crazy,
how just being a girl can be so emotional because yesterday,
I'm telling you, I was flying high, Like I was
so on it. I came home from work robers like,
how's your day? I was like, I was so funny
at work today, Like I just like felt on, you know,
(39:46):
and then today it's like crash.
Speaker 2 (39:49):
Sometimes you're on, sometimes you're off. Yeah, that's a little
bit about life. But can I read these questions? You
just give me yes or no answer? Sure, okay, rapid
fire to end riveting.
Speaker 1 (40:02):
I liked this episode. You just hit a little I mean,
I think you know at some point you just gotta
call it.
Speaker 2 (40:07):
Okay, Oh my gosh, we're going to Okay, can we
tell them what we're going to for the Gray's Anatomy? Yeah?
Speaker 1 (40:13):
See this is the problem, not yes, go ahead, you talk. Okay.
Speaker 2 (40:17):
So we got invited to they're doing their.
Speaker 1 (40:20):
Well, let's be honest. Becca got invited. I got invited
to Plus one.
Speaker 2 (40:24):
Yeah no, they said, do you and Tanya want to come?
Speaker 1 (40:27):
Oh yeah, it changes everything.
Speaker 2 (40:29):
We got invited and it it it's a cake cutting
celebration for their I think four hundred and fiftieth episode
of Gray's Anatomy, and I think we get to go
on set and be with the cast. I don't know
who's going to be there. I doubt it'll be like
Ellen Pompeo, you know.
Speaker 1 (40:45):
Yeah, doubtful.
Speaker 2 (40:46):
I don't know if she hangs around for the KK.
Speaker 1 (40:48):
Episode, she might be like stoked, she might Yeah, she
might be there.
Speaker 2 (40:52):
Yeah, and so where we got invited to go? So
we're gonna wear scrubs?
Speaker 1 (40:57):
Are you just gonna wear normal clothes?
Speaker 2 (40:59):
I thin I'm gonna be a normal clothes. Oh you
want to wear scrubs?
Speaker 1 (41:02):
I mean I feel like it makes it. Oh no,
but they'll all be in.
Speaker 2 (41:04):
Scrubs, right, it could get confusing.
Speaker 1 (41:06):
Yeah. I was gonna say it'll make us stand out,
like on the carpet when we wore scrubs. But maybe not.
Speaker 2 (41:11):
I think they might just think we're extras infiltrating the
cake cutting celebration.
Speaker 1 (41:15):
It's risky.
Speaker 2 (41:16):
Yeah, but we're gonna go about that. So we'll have
news to report next week.
Speaker 1 (41:22):
Yeah, that's exciting.
Speaker 2 (41:23):
That's exciting. I think we ended with that. That was exciting,
exciting information.
Speaker 1 (41:27):
Exciting news. I'm gonna put that on my calendar right, okay, okay,
put it.
Speaker 2 (41:30):
In there again. And we're sorry for the delay on
the podcast and missing Monday, but you do get a
Thursday episode because we said we will not go a
whole week without chatting with our our scrubbers.
Speaker 1 (41:43):
No Shans.
Speaker 2 (41:46):
We love you so much. Hello Weekend, I love you.
Speaker 1 (41:50):
To be continued.
Speaker 2 (41:51):
Bye,
