each other.

Speaker 1 (00:20):
When was when did we do that last?

Speaker 3 (00:22):
I think it was six months? Say something? Was it
in the summer?

Speaker 1 (00:27):
So we so, Charity and I filmed the mabeling commercial
right after it, and.

Speaker 4 (00:35):
It was that was part of Oh gosh, who Seasons Gens?
Because we were in Seattle for GEN season?

Speaker 1 (00:43):
Thank you?

Speaker 3 (00:44):
You're right?

Speaker 1 (00:44):
Yeah, so it's GEN season, so it couldn't have been
a year.

Speaker 3 (00:47):
No, right, she doesn't have been summer because I think
she filmed over summer.

Speaker 1 (00:51):
Yes, so we haven't seen each other. Yes, And I
got to come to Venice and support you and you're
what was that hosting thing?

Speaker 4 (01:00):
It was with Spotify. They had me be like there
like Coastal cowgirl. Yeah, so I was like hosting a
couple of their events. Yeah, and you and Charity surprised
me and ch.

Speaker 1 (01:09):
Oh we loved it. I had so much fun that night.
It was just fun to like have a girl's night. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:15):
It was really just fun to have a girl.

Speaker 1 (01:18):
And then in Seattle we went out like I, yeah, please,
I'm fifty one, I have teenagers, right, they're the ones
who probably should be partying, even though I don't think
they are.

Speaker 2 (01:30):
Their two competed party.

Speaker 1 (01:32):
But we were out until gosh, I want to say
four in the morning, I think.

Speaker 3 (01:36):
So we were really really late.

Speaker 2 (01:39):
It was so fun. I loved it.

Speaker 1 (01:42):
I had so much fun. And actually we went to
Molly and Jason's for dinner. Yeah, and then that was
a great I was going to go home, like back
to the hotel, yeah, and I was so their home
is like in the suburbs, so I was like, I'll
just ride back with you guys in your uber and
the uber access to the club that you guys were
going to. But it wasn't I thought it was going

(02:03):
to be near the hotel, and you guys were like, well.

Speaker 2 (02:06):
Just come, I'm like just kidding, you have to go.

Speaker 4 (02:08):
Okay, I guess I'm going to party.

Speaker 2 (02:11):
So we went to It was so much fun.

Speaker 3 (02:13):
It was so fun.

Speaker 4 (02:14):
It was funny because when we got back, someone had
posted a TikTok of me online and they were like,
I swear this is Daisy. But I asked her and
she said, no, it's not. And people were coming and
they were like, well, did.

Speaker 2 (02:25):
You see your co clear implant?

Speaker 4 (02:26):
And they were like, yes, we did, and I was like,
it wasn't me because we were like not supposed to
be known that we were there.

Speaker 2 (02:34):
Really you did literally.

Speaker 1 (02:36):
Say no, I'm not Daisy.

Speaker 4 (02:37):
But here I had my hair like slicked back, and
I had it like on the outside, so you can
totally see that.

Speaker 1 (02:44):
That is so funny. Okay, So how's life?

Speaker 2 (02:48):
It's good?

Speaker 1 (02:49):
Good? Yeah, yeah, I here, you already told me this,
So I'm asking you a question that I know the
answer to. But how's dating life?

Speaker 2 (02:57):
Dating life is great.

Speaker 3 (02:58):
I'm really happy.

Speaker 1 (03:00):
I'm so happy for you.

Speaker 4 (03:02):
Thank you.

Speaker 1 (03:03):
I mean we talked about I asked her in the
limo right over here. We're at the Bachelor Mansion for
everybody listening a little iHeart event and podcasting event, and
in the limo, I asked if she would go on Paradise.

Speaker 4 (03:21):
No, I have a boyfriend, Yes, a boyfriend.

Speaker 2 (03:27):
You know.

Speaker 1 (03:27):
I know everyone would love to see you on Paradise,
but everyone is more happy that you're happy.

Speaker 3 (03:31):
Thank you? Yes, of course he's great.

Speaker 1 (03:33):
So you guys are long distance currently or yes? How's
that going?

Speaker 2 (03:39):
It's good.

Speaker 4 (03:39):
I mean we see each other still really often, right,
probably every week?

Speaker 2 (03:43):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (03:44):
Every week.

Speaker 4 (03:45):
I mean it's such a quick flight, and like I
feel like I'm traveling so much, so sometimes he'll come
and meet me. But he also travels a lot too,
so sometimes I'll meet him.

Speaker 1 (03:54):
That is. What does he do?

Speaker 3 (03:56):
He does like commercial real estate?

Speaker 1 (03:58):
Okay, yeah, so he can leave, yeah, and just schedule
clients like you know, kind of when Yeah, I mean
I feel like every job these days.

Speaker 2 (04:08):
Yeah, you can do.

Speaker 3 (04:08):
It's like weekends we see each other.

Speaker 1 (04:11):
But okay, yeah, good. And are there plans to be
in the same city?

Speaker 2 (04:17):
Probably I think the foreseeable future.

Speaker 1 (04:21):
Yeah, okay, good, I love it. Okay, holiday plans?

Speaker 3 (04:26):
What are you doing for the holiday?

Speaker 4 (04:27):
I am actually leaving tomorrowkay, going back to Minnesota, and
I'll be there until the twenty sixth with my family.

Speaker 3 (04:34):
Great, and he's coming with me, and then.

Speaker 4 (04:37):
On the twenty sixth then we'll fly to Utah and
be with his family and go.

Speaker 3 (04:43):
In like park City, dear Valley. Yeah, I love Park City.

Speaker 1 (04:46):
Yeah. So good. Have you been I have? Are you
a skier? I?

Speaker 2 (04:50):
Okay?

Speaker 4 (04:51):
So when I was younger, I used to ski and
then I started snowboarding, But now I'm getting back into skiing,
so I'm working on it.

Speaker 1 (04:56):
Is he skier or snowboarder?

Speaker 2 (04:58):
He skis?

Speaker 1 (04:58):
Okay? Yeah? Is that how I you're changing?

Speaker 2 (05:01):
Yeah? And I can just I can go faster.

Speaker 3 (05:03):
On ski so I can keep up with people better.

Speaker 1 (05:08):
How is it with your hearing on the slopes?

Speaker 2 (05:11):
Like, so it's interesting.

Speaker 4 (05:13):
I was really nervous about it because I hadn't really
skied since I got my cochlear implant. And then my
friends we always from college, we always went up to.

Speaker 3 (05:22):
Big Bear to ski, like probably like a couple of times.

Speaker 4 (05:24):
One of our guy friends has his parents have a
place aut there, so we would go stay there and ski.
And so this last year was like my first year
having my cochlear implant and going up their ski and
I was nervous about it, but I went and I
like tried on so many different helmets and I just
bought a helmet so I didn't have to worry about it.
But it's kind of fun because I can play music
into my implant, so I don't have to wear headphones

(05:45):
or anything. So if I'm skiing down the slopes, I
just play it into my head. That's amazing, and I
can hear pretty good with it still through you can
the helmet, yeah, which I didn't think.

Speaker 1 (05:56):
So is it like a special helmet or it's no amazing? Yeah,
maybe you need to like create one.

Speaker 3 (06:03):
That's yeah, that's actually a great idea. Maybe it should.

Speaker 1 (06:06):
You should. Is there any favorite tradition that you have
with your family during the holidays.

Speaker 4 (06:24):
We always do like takeaway bingo and stuff with my sorry,
what's take away bingo? It's like bingo, but once all
the presents have ran out, and if you get a bingo,
then I can.

Speaker 1 (06:35):
Steal your present like a white elephant kind of kind of.
But their presence that people have bought like four other
people specifically, and.

Speaker 4 (06:44):
They're just like, honestly, that would be crazy.

Speaker 2 (06:49):
We should do that. You should. I bought you this
daisy and then someone.

Speaker 4 (06:55):
Like like the one thing you ask for, can you imagine?

Speaker 1 (07:00):
I know that would be horrible, but then you know whatever,
I'm sure you figure it out. Maybe I have to
stay within a certain range. Yeah, yeah, don't steal my
five hundred dollars gift, but yeah, steal my one, yes exactly.

Speaker 2 (07:18):
Oh my gosh, yeah, I don't know.

Speaker 4 (07:19):
We just do fun things like that and just being
with my family. But it's weird because we're not weird.
But all of my cousins were all kind of around
the same age, so everyone's I think it's like the
span within ten years and so everyone's like getting older now,
like people are married, having kids, so now everyone has
like other families too that they have to be with.
So the last couple of years, like we haven't been
able to be together, like all of us cousins together,

(07:41):
and we're all like, oh wait or like grown ups,
like what's happening?

Speaker 2 (07:46):
Oh wait?

Speaker 1 (07:47):
And how many cousins are there? They're together all this
is this Christmas, this summer and no, we're not going
to be together, but there's holy do. I have four
on my mom's side and two on my dad's side.
But now everyone's like having.

Speaker 4 (08:03):
Kids, and we're also very close with my extended family
on my mom's side, like all of her siblings ye,
and like one of my mom's my mom. Okay, this
is what I'm saying a lot, But my grandpa's family
my grandma has like six siblings, and like some of
them are like closer to my mom's age than my
grandma's age, so like their kids are more so our age,

(08:26):
like a little bit older than me and my siblings.

Speaker 1 (08:29):
Your grand aunts are yeah, okay.

Speaker 3 (08:31):
But they're like they feel like cousins, you know what
I mean.

Speaker 1 (08:33):
Yeah, of course, because you're in the same age. Okay,
so you've done a ton after the show, Yeah, Bachelor obviously,
what has been one of your favorite things that you've
gotten to do, like opportunities or.

Speaker 3 (08:49):
I would probably say, okay, I have I would I'll
say three.

Speaker 1 (08:52):
Okay, Okay, I love it.

Speaker 4 (08:55):
So I love the Daisy brand stuff that I'm doing
with days just because that's it's been so fun and yeah,
and it's something that like when I was a little
girl and I would only I didn't like eating breakfast,
but I would only eat like cottage cheese or milk
and strawberries, which is weird, but that is that's what
I wanted when I was a little girl. Yeah, I'm

(09:15):
gonna I mean, not your three together, but oh I
thought that's why you meant.

Speaker 2 (09:18):
I know, like I would either.

Speaker 4 (09:19):
Eat cottage cheese in the morning, or I would eat
like strawberries and milk is like cereal, got it, But
so it's just funny. Love it. But I love that one.
And then Cochlear America's, which is the implant brand I have.
That one has been so fun and so cool just
because I went to their annual sales meeting and most

(09:40):
people that work for them are audiologists or have been audiologists,
or have some really close tie to hearing loss or
cochlear implants, and so just meeting all them, it was
like a crazy full circle moment. There was somebody that
was actually in my surgery because they have to test
the electrodes when I'm like when I was put under,
and there was a lady there that was in my
surgery when I got it like almost now like.

Speaker 1 (10:02):
To you like bust out. Yeah.

Speaker 4 (10:04):
And then the when I found out I had to
do to co clear and plant, my surgeon gave me
like a support group to go to and the lady
that was running the support group who like introduced me
to people who have them and was like, this is
how much better you're going to be in Like here
she was there too, and she like came up and
I just started falling it was just like I was like,
who would have ever known like my life and it

(10:27):
would like.

Speaker 1 (10:27):
And they watched you on the show, I assume, Oh
my gosh, I love that. Yeah, I mean, obviously there's
something to be said for like fun opportunities like the
Spotify thing like Special Forces. Yeah, but when it's personal, yeah,
it's all.

Speaker 3 (10:45):
That's definitely cool. I can't wait to watch you on
Special Forces.

Speaker 2 (10:49):
We were talking about it a little bit. It's crazy.

Speaker 1 (10:52):
Yeah, it will be really interesting. Like I told you
guys in the limo, when I saw the trailer, I
died laughing at myself doing like the hardest thing I've
ever done in my life besides give birth. And I'm
laughing at myself.

Speaker 4 (11:11):
Oh my gosh, it's gonna be so cool. Your kids
are like, oh my gosh, my mom's so bad ass.

Speaker 2 (11:16):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (11:17):
I mean I hope they are, you know, I hope
they are, and they are proud of me. That was
one of the reasons that I did it, you know.
I want to show them that they can do hard
things and pick themselves up when they fall down. Even
though I was hoping I would never fall down, I
fell down plenty.

Speaker 2 (11:38):
But you got up. That's right. But I got up.
That's that's what matters.

Speaker 1 (11:45):
I love seeing you me too, I love chatting with you.

Speaker 2 (11:48):
You're such a light.

Speaker 1 (11:50):
Well right back at you.

Speaker 3 (11:51):
I love you.

Speaker 1 (11:53):
Thanks for coming on Almost Famous Age, Thank you, thanks
for having me.
