Speaker 1 (00:00):
This is the almost famous podcast with iHeartRadio. I am
so excited to see you.

Speaker 2 (00:08):
I'm so happy to be here. Anytime we get to
hang out. Oh, it's so exciting.

Speaker 1 (00:13):
It is the best. I just love you so for
everybody here, it's Trista not here with Bob, but that's
okay because I'm here with Rachel. It's Trista for AFOG
and we're gonna chat for the podcast with.

Speaker 2 (00:27):
One of my favorites, Rachel. I'm so happy.

Speaker 1 (00:30):
Oh my gosh, Blakesley is so jealous. So my daughter
is the biggest fan of Rachel ever since the Golden Wedding.

Speaker 2 (00:37):
Yes, we danced all night. I literally just.

Speaker 1 (00:40):
Heard a song. Oh my gosh, what song was it?
And I was like, it came on when I was
driving her to dance, and I was like, Blakesley, do
you remember us on the dance floor with Rachel. We
were up and down. It was so it was like
we had the busy too or something. Gosh, what song
was it? I wish I could remember.

Speaker 2 (01:00):
We need to pull it up after this and figured
it out because that was such a fun night. It
was the first night I got to meet your whole family.

Speaker 1 (01:07):
Everyone was there, I know it's such a good We
need another, hopefully another golden wedding, I mean, right, or
a wedding. Yeah, I get married Jone and Chalk hopefully, yes, yes, yes, hopefully.
I don't know if they'll do like a wedding on television.

Speaker 2 (01:22):
But but I wish they was. Then we all get
together again.

Speaker 1 (01:26):
Come come on talk, come on we see, come on
have the moning, like just for us, we need like.

Speaker 2 (01:35):
A filmed reunion of all of us because I think
also people have no idea, like the amount of tea
that was being spilled at that wedding, like they could
see us all talking, but they have no idea. That's
where we need to get cameras on.

Speaker 1 (01:48):
Right right, The behind the scenes wasn't behind the scenes.

Speaker 2 (01:53):
Yeah, that was crazy. I kept getting nervous, like, are
we like being filmed because a level of tea? Yeah,
that we were spelling.

Speaker 1 (02:03):
I know, an t share.

Speaker 2 (02:07):
I'm trying to think.

Speaker 1 (02:08):
My brain doesn't work, so I don't even remember what
we were talking about.

Speaker 2 (02:12):
I don't remember, but that was a crazy time.

Speaker 1 (02:14):
It was so fun and actually I have said that
for years. I want to do a reunion with everyone
who's been on the show. I mean, can you even imagine? No,
we wouldn't. We would have to like have a football
field or something, because there's.

Speaker 2 (02:27):
So I know, and like getting exes back together and
like no, always crazy because obviously we're all over it,
like some of us are more recent. Like sometimes you
look around the room and you're like, is this like normal?

Speaker 1 (02:41):
But a wedding too, Like you go to a wedding
and you're like, Ooh, who's that guy? Or I mean
not me anymore? Me?

Speaker 3 (02:49):
I do?

Speaker 2 (02:50):
I do?

Speaker 1 (02:51):
I feel like you probably would and I would back
in the day, like if you go and you're like, oh,
maybe I'll meet somebody at somebody else's wedding. So you
go to those events and I'm sure you see cute boys.
I know.

Speaker 2 (03:05):
Unfortunately I dated all of them already though. That's the issue,
is I just I keep putting myself in a room
and I've already dated it, and that's the problem. Gosh,
I love you. I know. I'm trying to branch out,
but somehow my exes just always end up the same
place I am.

Speaker 1 (03:23):
I don't know how to okay, but I always see
I'll see pictures of you and oh Turtle Conservatory guy.

Speaker 2 (03:31):
Blake, Yes, love him. I am me too.

Speaker 1 (03:35):
Do I always ship you when I see you together?

Speaker 2 (03:38):
I know you're just they always do, which is so funny.
But he is like one of my best friends, okay,
and we are so different. We have such different types.

Speaker 1 (03:48):
Yeah, and I like, what's your type and what's his type?

Speaker 2 (03:51):
So I don't. Well, Blake, actually I feel like has
like a more wider range of a type. But I
have been in my like I really like kind of
like a more feminine guy era. Okay, I know, but
Blake says I have to stop doing that. He's like,
that's why you can't find a boyfriend.

Speaker 1 (04:07):
He says, you're like a guy, and I'm like, I
have not been looking for that. So I'm trying to
just keep going. We're trying to find a gay bestie.
But I literally that's.

Speaker 2 (04:18):
Like, no, this isn't working again, like genuinely this is
my issue. But I'm trying to branch out. And I
have like tried to date. Okay, nothing that's like to
report on. But when I can, because that was the
next question, When I can, I will let you know.
But I have been you know, do perceeding a little? Yeah,

(04:38):
there will be something to report.

Speaker 1 (04:40):
But okay, not not correctly.

Speaker 2 (04:43):
Currectly, not currently, but speaking of excess, and yes, speaking
of being at the Bachelor Mansion.

Speaker 1 (04:49):
Yes, give us the tea.

Speaker 2 (04:50):
I okay, I have to tell you a story. I
can't and I don't know on this. I don't know
how this like it's the perfect moment. So I was
in the row ceremony room, okay, and I was like.

Speaker 1 (04:59):
Because we're at the Bachelor Mansion. I didn't say that, sorry, We're.

Speaker 2 (05:02):
At the and I was having like my EMO moment
standing there. I was like, oh, I used to stand
up here and give out roses. And then I remembered, okay, okay, okay,
acond one. I watched my season. We had a rose ceremony,
and it was the rose ceremony. We were splitting the
guys up. It was like Team Rachel or Team Gabby.
So they had to.

Speaker 1 (05:22):
Put didn't they have to put like who they wanted
to go with in a box or something.

Speaker 2 (05:27):
I have no idea what the logistics are from what
I heard, Okay, they the producers. It was the first
time there's ever been too and the producers were confused
and they would try to like gauge the guys and
be like, who are you interested in? Okay, guys would
be like both because that's like the right thing to say.
But then it kind of mixed everything up because then
some really just had a more strong opinion, which, of

(05:50):
course you do, like I would as well totally. But
the boys, from what I gathered, didn't know that once
you didn't get a rose from one.

Speaker 1 (05:57):
You didn't get it from the other one.

Speaker 2 (05:59):
And so one guy said no to my rose because
he thought he could get Gabby's, which fair, and then
it just tumbled into it was.

Speaker 1 (06:07):
Literally the most humiliated night was it was it the
night that you were no, the night that you were
crying on the stairs.

Speaker 2 (06:13):
I cried this night. No, Okay, the stairs was on
Clayton season. But this was probably the worst, like the
worst night in my life, because you know, your confidence
is already like to these guys like me, I'm so nervous.
I'm doing this for the first time, and to have
people be like I would rather go home than even
you're freaking hard times. Oh my gosh, I was like,

(06:36):
it was horrible. So I'm sure I remembered I got
a d M from one of these guys. Okay, that
rejected my rose and I was standing in there. I
was winking about it. It was like a month ago.

Speaker 1 (06:49):
Oh mg, your most season was how many years ago?

Speaker 2 (06:52):
Two? Okay? And I literally so I went back to
find the message. He un sent the message, but I
have a screenshot, and we're gonna we have to because
what the heck?

Speaker 1 (07:06):
Why would Yeah, let's back up, because I did not
know that you could unsend a DM apparently.

Speaker 2 (07:13):
Also, if you're gonna send a message like that, which
she's also kind of apologizing in a way, oh say
it with your full chot.

Speaker 1 (07:19):
Well, yes, I'm right, this is crazy. You own it
and you say maybe right back, and you say, I
am so sorry that was probably super inappropriate and I'm
sorry that I ever hurt your feelings are something like that.

Speaker 3 (07:34):
He rejected my role exactly, and then he chose to
go home.

Speaker 2 (07:38):
Like I wanted him there. I wanted to see what
was there, dying care?

Speaker 1 (07:43):
What did he say?

Speaker 2 (07:44):
Okay, so he starts off, Yo, what's up, Rachel Comma,
we're also a great Sorry, that's a good opener, so random.
I know, I was literally just thinking about my time
at the batch house, and I'm all that grabs.

Speaker 1 (07:58):
Sorry thinking in the batch house. Okay, continue, Sorry.

Speaker 2 (08:04):
He was thinking. He was thinking about all the time here, okay,
and all the regrets I had by not seeing things through.
I definitely had to reach out because it's something on
my mind and is something I've thought about for a
couple of years, what could have been and how fun
things could have slash b meaning he thinks we could
have ended up together. They could still be.

Speaker 1 (08:25):
Oh, I see what you're saying.

Speaker 2 (08:27):
That's crazy. So I'm just reaching out to see if
you'd be down to chill and grab a drink or
two and vibe out.

Speaker 1 (08:34):
Is that what people say now? And vibe and vibe out?
Do you say that like that?

Speaker 2 (08:39):
He's like, you know what after I know amiliated? You
would you be? And like he.

Speaker 1 (08:48):
Literally said, I I felt like I had to reach
out or whatever he says.

Speaker 2 (08:53):
For years, you just lay in bed at night. No,
he regrets to you know.

Speaker 1 (08:58):
Why you know why you regrets that's it because hello, you.

Speaker 2 (09:04):
Know I mean he's just like, oh, like he thinks
back at the time and how he totally lost the experience.

Speaker 1 (09:11):
He regrets it because he know he made a mistake.

Speaker 2 (09:13):
And I'm like, you didn't even give me a shot. Yeah,
and so I will not be giving you a shot now,
but like we could have. You know, we could have been.
We could have. Isn't that crazy?

Speaker 1 (09:23):
I'm so sorry.

Speaker 2 (09:24):
Here we are at the Batcher mansion.

Speaker 1 (09:25):
That's right, you could have been the house. I'm thinking
about the Batch house.

Speaker 2 (09:32):
He was just thinking literally crazy times. It's crazy to
think back.

Speaker 1 (09:47):
I would love to know what happened that day that
he felt like, or what did you post? Or like
what do you know?

Speaker 2 (09:54):
What I mean?

Speaker 1 (09:55):
Did you know was he following you before he.

Speaker 2 (09:57):
Does follow me? So I don't know how long he
has Uban. I have a little bit of like, I
don't I think that was rude. I want to give
me a chance. You were rather go home than it
was week two. We'd met one time.

Speaker 1 (10:13):
Literally, if you have that regret, then you just freaking
live with it. Sorry, I know, I mean.

Speaker 2 (10:19):
I'm sorry.

Speaker 1 (10:20):
I'm still sad reading it, but you get me. That's
totally get you, honestly. I don't know why after all
this time and then but the big thing is the
unsent portion.

Speaker 2 (10:35):
Really he was like waiting for me to see it,
and then I did see it in it because I
think I sent it to like my friend Jill.

Speaker 1 (10:46):
For my season, I'm like, this is insane, Like no
one knows how big of a deal this is in
my world, because like that was one of the biggest things.

Speaker 2 (10:53):
That's like whoa moments are me.

Speaker 1 (10:56):
And for sure to just come out of the blue,
it's an onset.

Speaker 3 (10:59):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (11:01):
So on my season, I had one guy who came
up to me and before I even could give him
a rose, so I didn't even offer him the rose.
He came up to me and said, let me stop.
I'm gonna leave because I don't think whatever. And I
was like, I'm sorry, but let me at least offer
you the rose, because if I didn't offer you the rose,

(11:23):
then you're completely taking my power away.

Speaker 2 (11:25):
I think that's what it was like. Yeah, it's these
men really want to have power because they're so used
to like being the one to be the pursuer, and
then when it's in our hands, I feel like it
takes like their masculinity away. Yeah, and when they feel like, oh,
I'm not your front runner, I'm just gonna leave because
I don't want you to reject me. And that's the

(11:45):
way I feel like our guys would like me and Gabby.
They were pulling out left and right because it was
kind of like I would rather do it before you
do it. But then I put us in this position
where we're like, okay, now what yeah, right, It's like
they completely take the power away, but it's all kinds.

Speaker 1 (12:02):
It's all kind sight. Okay, you mentioned Gabby. Are you
so excited to see her on her new.

Speaker 2 (12:08):
Show on Traders? I can't.

Speaker 1 (12:11):
I freaking love Traders, I know, and I literally when
they asked me to do Special Forces, I was like,
don't they want me on Traders?

Speaker 2 (12:19):
I would love to see you on Traders? Would you
do it? I would totally do it. I could totally
see you doing because Wells is on it too. I know.

Speaker 1 (12:28):
I'm not so excited to watch. That's going to be good, honestly.
And the show, to me, yes, the like the whole
concept of like the lying and the relationships and all
of that. But I think also like the fashion is
so much fun.

Speaker 2 (12:43):
I love it right Blue, It's like this like old timey.
I cannot wait. And I also feel like Gabby is
like one of the smartest people I know, and I
feel like people can like underestimate her in away because
she's so funny, so then they're not going to see
her coming. But she's smarter than everyone there.

Speaker 1 (12:59):
So do you see she's going to be a trader.

Speaker 2 (13:02):
I actually was thinking about that. I have no idea.
I could see her being both, like I could see
her being good.

Speaker 1 (13:07):
Yeah, I don't know. I feel like Wells could be
a trader too.

Speaker 2 (13:10):
I see Wells's yeah, Wells, I love you, Yeah, I see.

Speaker 1 (13:16):
No, I don't think there's anything wrong with someone being
a trader. I mean the game, I totally and I
feel like he's he could be. He could totally get
away with it.

Speaker 2 (13:26):
I think so too. Wells also has that like he
could play really cool.

Speaker 1 (13:31):
Yes, I could. Again, we'll be friends with everybody.

Speaker 2 (13:33):
Oh yeah, I mean he literally his job is to
make everyone trust him and tell him their secrets, and
you do so. I mean he's already got practice, especially
with like our season. So yes, I'm excited to watch
and I'm excited to watch you. I cannot wait. We were
just watching the trailer in the limo.

Speaker 1 (13:53):
Joe of course pulls up the trailer as we were talking,
like he was asking what everyone was asking questions and
it's fun to talk about. But It is funny because
people are like, was it fun, And I'm like, I
don't know if i'd use the word fun, like intense, truly.

Speaker 2 (14:12):
The hardest thing you probably ever did. Like did you
have a great time?

Speaker 3 (14:15):
I know you're awesome shooters Like and you're like, I
was sleeping in manure cots exactly, Well they were manure cots,
but there was manure in it in the building.

Speaker 2 (14:25):
Same thing, as far as I'm conserted. We filmed on
The Bachelor. They're like, here's the champagne in a helicopter
and I like trist to jump out of the helicopter
jump after no champagne.

Speaker 1 (14:42):
Champagne for you? Oh that is hysterical. And the cots.
So we are sleeping on cots and I slept next
to Brodie Jenner.

Speaker 2 (14:51):
I wish I was sleeping next to Brody. Actually, maybe
I will do Special Forces.

Speaker 1 (15:00):
So I'm sleeping next to Brody and we are like
getting our cots ready, like getting our stuff ready, and
we look up and we're next to this like like
rock wall, stone wall. Look in and there's He's like,
this is like a spider condo.

Speaker 2 (15:18):
Shut up.

Speaker 1 (15:18):
I swear it was spiders.

Speaker 2 (15:21):
Oh my God everywhere, what if they like crawled in
your ears.

Speaker 1 (15:25):
Oh, but you literally couldn't think about it, because that's
the that is where you sleep. Like you couldn't think
about it, or I would have gone crazy if I
thought about it.

Speaker 2 (15:34):
I mean, but you genuinely were probably so exhausted that
when you were like sleeping more even just like you
didn't even care. You could have slept on the ground
because you're going through the most intense physical training.

Speaker 1 (15:43):
Yeah, probably, yet like you're spent emotionally, mentally, physically, all
of the things. You're completely spent. And so yes, when
you hit the cot, you're like, peace out, I'm going.

Speaker 2 (15:55):
To sleep, and it's probably for like two hours. Yeah,
it was bare and then they're like get up again
and carry a boulder above your head. I could not
do it. I'm so proud of you, and I.

Speaker 1 (16:04):
Can't wait to watch it because Trusta does seem like
the star we're watching the trailer and her interviews are
the ones they're playing so exciting. I'm definitely you know,
among stars, we're all like, it was an amazing group
of people. I'm really I feel very grateful to have
been part of it. So I'm excited to see Ali too,

(16:25):
was a previous Bachelorett as well. I've ever met her,
you haven't, No, I'm looking forward to it. That will
happen soon. But no, she and I definitely had some
very special moments on the show, and I hope they
show them. I hope so, you know, like part of
why I did it, and I know we'll wrap in

(16:45):
a second. Part of why why I did it is
just relationships, you know, like these are once in a
lifetime opportunities and I really wanted to get the chance
to meet some new people. There are a lottery's why
I did it. I don't need to go into that now,
but it was great to have Ali there.

Speaker 2 (17:03):
I can't wait to watch.

Speaker 1 (17:04):
I'm so excited crazy. We're going to be recapping the show,
so listen to almost episode gees because we're gonna be
talking about it. But of course, just text me or DM.
I do have to bring up one more thing. So
when I was talking to Joe and Serena, they asked
about the Bachelorette group thread that we're on.

Speaker 2 (17:21):
Everyone always asks about the group thread.

Speaker 1 (17:23):
And it's so funny because they were like, did it
just blow up when you and Ali were on the show,
and I'm like, I don't think we have had anyone texting,
I know, in so long. I'm like, maybe they will
when the shows or something, but I was like, no,
we've been totally silent, and I'm like, usually.

Speaker 2 (17:41):
Someone has a baby or someone married, birthday birthdays haven't
been for a while, though, I feel like you kind
of off but always then there's a new bachelorette. Yeah,
and then I feel like that's the biggest thing for me,
was like initially getting everyone's numbers and like texting everyone.
Oh my god, what do I do?

Speaker 1 (17:56):
Totally, but everyone wants to know.

Speaker 2 (17:58):
About the group shot I had secret.

Speaker 1 (18:00):
I know it's You're right, it's secret anyway. So yeah,
we'll just we'll be chatting when the show aired. Give
me all the scoop about what you think. But thank
you for chatting with me on Almost Famous Guys.

Speaker 2 (18:12):
Love your futures. I love you.
