Speaker 1 (00:17):
Saw you, I mean it was during the show.

Speaker 3 (00:20):
You were just crazy, so so crazy, just changed. I
mean the first time I met you were just coming
out in this like beautiful gown. You're like a fairy.

Speaker 1 (00:29):
They you called me the fairy got.

Speaker 3 (00:30):
That's really what it felt like when a don't pick up.

Speaker 2 (00:42):
You imagine that's the clip they're gonna be like trist
told Jig, I'm making soup now. No, that day was
so much fun. I loved hanging out with Charity, with
da Zy, with Kelsey. It was and we actually got
I don't know if you. I think you probably did

(01:02):
see The Wicked, The wand yes, so wond We got
to take a picture with the actual wand that our
Ariana Grande has in the movie.

Speaker 1 (01:11):
And then the Broom the stick.

Speaker 3 (01:15):
Did you not see it?

Speaker 2 (01:17):
It was sol It was back, you know, like underneath
the like in the room that you walked out onto,
the in the stadium.

Speaker 1 (01:26):
But it was like inside like the restaurant area. Oh
my god, that's so it was crazy.

Speaker 2 (01:33):
I remember that night when we were at the stadium
because it was still you and what was his.

Speaker 1 (01:40):
Name, Marcus, Marcus, that's it.

Speaker 2 (01:43):
That was your date, And I have a video. I
have to show it to you. I need to share
it with you actually because it was so cute. You're
in the big, huge pink dress.

Speaker 3 (01:51):
Oh my gosh, that was like a princess that night.

Speaker 1 (01:52):
Hot pink dress.

Speaker 2 (01:53):
That was beautiful, and someone is following you like taking
video and you're just like running like like the cutest video.

Speaker 3 (02:02):
It was. Actually, that date was one of my favorite
dates ever. Something about being in a baseball stadium all
by yourself, like that was on my bucket list to true,
and it was so it was so romantic and so fun.
But I remember my producer Maya was like, no, like
we have to go, like you can't like step on
the field, and I was like, Maya, look the other way.
Marcus and I just started sprinting out on the field

(02:22):
and I don't think we were allowed to because they
were like it was already mode or whatever it was.
They were like pristine condition, don't touch it. And I said,
I'm gonna run around whatever. I'm sorry, opportunity, Like, what
are you going to do? Arrest me that you did that?
It was so fun.

Speaker 2 (02:38):
Okay, so life has obviously changed. Everything went down on
Bachelorette and then you get.

Speaker 1 (02:44):
Asked to do Dancing with that?

Speaker 3 (02:46):
Yes?

Speaker 1 (02:48):
Was how was that phone call? Like, tell me how
you got asked?

Speaker 3 (02:50):
It wasn't a phone call. I was literally I was
crying on stage and I came back to my dressing room.
It was like the end of the show, and I
remember like the executive producers were in my dressing room
and they were like, Okay, you have forty five minutes
to hop on a flight, like you're gonna be on
Dancing with the Stars. And I was like, uh, is
this a prank? Like this isn't funny.

Speaker 1 (03:10):
Like you hadn't signed a contract or anything yet.

Speaker 3 (03:12):
I had no idea. So I essentially met with the
executive producer of Dancing with the Stars on a phone
call like two three weeks prior, and we were like
considering it because deede, I guess we were considering because
I really wanted to go on. So I was like
pushing all the buttons I could whatever and then after
that phone call, she basically told me like, oh, there's
no room, like we just like already set the cast whatever.

(03:32):
So when I flew out to La for AFR, I
was like, Oh, there's no chance I'm being asked. I'm
because I know in Bachelor World is always like a
surprise when you get asked. I was like, there's really
no chance because they told me that there was no room.
And then when I got off the stage, I was like,
there really is no chance because they they would have
surprised me already, right. So then I went back to
the dressing room and they were like, yep, you're gonna

(03:54):
be on it. You have forty five minutes to get
a flight. I didn't have a toothbrush with me anything.
I kind of got back to night to hotel them
and like pack nothing. They were just like, here's a
dress that you were gonna wear for press the next day.
Take this in a garment bag with you, take your
purse and whatever you have, and that's it. Hop on
a flight. It was like it was such a whirlwind,
and I remember just being like this feels like a

(04:15):
prank that just this doesn't feel real, because I was like,
do people do this, like does this happen? Is that?
How is that how this works? Like can you just
like throw people on a TV show like the night
before it's now It's like, I don't know if that
happens without.

Speaker 1 (04:26):
Signing a contract, Like that's kind of amazing to me.

Speaker 3 (04:29):
I sign the contract like on the plane. No, like
right before I went on stage for Good Morning America,
and I basically it was like this long and I
was like, yeah, I'm just gonna sign it, not going
to read it.

Speaker 1 (04:41):
I mean, that's stressful. It was going to contact that, yes,
but I.

Speaker 3 (04:44):
Was like, you know what, I trust you guys. It's fine.

Speaker 1 (04:46):
That is amazing.

Speaker 2 (04:47):
I mean it has been going on for a while.
Do you know I was on the show. I did
not very first season. Wait really, I was the very
first one ever kicked off the show.

Speaker 3 (04:58):
What No, that's something though, That's like pretty good.

Speaker 2 (05:03):
It was crazy well, and it's funny because you said,
like I don't. I feel like no one is surprised,
you know when they get asked for a batuation. My
phone call was from one of the ABC execs and
they were like, you're doing the show.

Speaker 1 (05:16):
And I was like wait, wait, wait, what is the show.
It wasn't a show, like it wasn't a thing. So
I had no idea. You don't even know what was
going on. We had no idea.

Speaker 2 (05:26):
There were only six of us and like a very
little budget. It was anyway, Louis van Amstell, he's not
he hasn't done anything. And I feel like a few
years of experience for you. It was very funk, very fun.
I wish I could have stayed longer.

Speaker 3 (05:43):
I feel like we should just bring you back.

Speaker 2 (05:46):
I would love that, but honestly, I wonder I feel
like it would be very stressful. So I don't know
if you know this either, but I'm going to be
on Special Forces season three, like.

Speaker 3 (05:59):
Coming up, like you've already filmed it, already filmed it.

Speaker 2 (06:02):
I kind of almost would rather do Special Forces again
than Dance with the Stars.

Speaker 3 (06:08):
You're kidding, I don't know.

Speaker 1 (06:10):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (06:11):
I feel like Dancing with the Stars I was a dancer. Wow,
okay what And I feel like the pressure would be
more on Dancing with the Stars and Special Forces was
like a whole new thing that was just a personal competition.
It was like me against me, not me against five
other celebrities.

Speaker 3 (06:33):
Voting exactly exactly.

Speaker 2 (06:36):
Okay, getting to Dancing with the Stars, Bob and I
my co host who's not here. We miss you, Bob,
but we because I was on Dancing with the Stars,
we recapped every episode of this season on the almost

(06:58):
famous ojiback uh and obviously raved about you and how
well you did.

Speaker 1 (07:04):
We were so proud of you. You were amazing. Yeah,
but I have.

Speaker 2 (07:10):
A very specific question. Oh okay, Well I have a couple.
Number one, yes, the like reels tiktoks that you guys
put out, Yes, where do you get those?

Speaker 1 (07:24):
Like the original audios?

Speaker 3 (07:26):
Like who does that on TikTok? No?

Speaker 1 (07:30):
But like I feel like you guys were putting out.

Speaker 3 (07:33):
It was really insane this season. Yeah, it was a
good season.

Speaker 2 (07:37):
Was it just the like Dancing with the Stars like
publicity team that would send you like how would that
all work?

Speaker 3 (07:43):
I mean, they so Dancing the Stars had their own
social team and they had great tiktoks that we did
on their page too. But then for me, at least,
my creative process was scrolling on TikTok on my off
time when I'm recovering from dancing and I saw something
I liked, I'd save it. I had a whole Dancing
with the Stars folder.

Speaker 1 (07:59):
Oh my god, I need to hire us. Not that
you don't, not that you have time, but it's so funny.

Speaker 3 (08:04):
No, but I feel like Alona, it's really well this
season with all this sounds. I was like, where did
you find these sounds?

Speaker 2 (08:11):
Like?

Speaker 3 (08:11):
Are you coming up with them? Out of thin air? Sasha? Though?
Sometimes well out of like out of thin air. He'll
be like, I remember this movie line exactly, this moment
from this blah blah blah, and then just like google it,
like find it on TikTok and then I'm like, wow,
that's the perfect sound for this.

Speaker 2 (08:26):
Okay, wait a second, so I can tell me like
how that works, because honestly, I am like, if you heard, like, say,
you heard something from Wicked, yeah, and you want to
pull it from the movie, how do you actually do that?

Speaker 3 (08:41):
Well, you would just go to the search bar on
TikTok and be like this scene where Glinda says this
or like this exact line, and then you would just
search it for real and it would just comes.

Speaker 1 (08:50):
Okay, you're teaching me. It's the old gal, sy I'm
a og old gal and.

Speaker 3 (08:55):
I need to be taught these things, but not all
the time. Like if it's popular, popular and it'll come up.
Sometimes people create their own sounds. I know. That's what
I want to know you. How do you do that?
I think you. I don't know that. I don't know.

Speaker 1 (09:07):
I still I would be worried that it would be comproment.

Speaker 3 (09:11):
The same thing, the same thing. So that's why I
haven't done one. But I think people can do that.

Speaker 1 (09:15):
It's crazy.

Speaker 3 (09:16):
Okay.

Speaker 1 (09:17):
So that was number one. Question. Number two question, tell
us the tea. What is going on with you and Sasha?

Speaker 2 (09:24):
Come on, I know this was going I don't know
because everyone is talking about.

Speaker 3 (09:29):
I think I have to go my limnos here. It's
gonna take me.

Speaker 1 (09:33):
Oh no, I am old for the first time.

Speaker 3 (09:38):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (09:39):
So I'm bringing up the last post that you did,
or maybe it was I don't know how many posts
you've done any afterwards, but you literally like all the
pictures that all of you been waiting for, and I
was like, wait, we're still waiting because where is it.

Speaker 3 (09:52):
Oh my gosh, Oh my gosh.

Speaker 1 (09:55):
We get we get the hymn kissing you on the cheek.

Speaker 3 (09:57):
You got a little cheeky moment.

Speaker 1 (09:58):
Okay, we got a cheeky but not a smoochie moment.

Speaker 3 (10:02):
I need a smoochi moment. You and the rest of
the world listen. All I'm gonna quote is Taylor Swift's
song and the crowd were chanting more. And what can
I do but be myself. That's that's all you're going
to get.

Speaker 2 (10:17):
So until we stop shooting, then maybe she'll tell me
in real life.

Speaker 3 (10:25):
I love him. He's just the best. So You're just
We're having so much fun and I'm just waiting for
him to teach me a real dance again, so that.

Speaker 1 (10:35):
The other dances were not real.

Speaker 2 (10:36):
They were real, but.

Speaker 3 (10:37):
Like, I want to be back in the simulation. I
want to do dances every week again. And he's refusing you.
I would love to.

Speaker 1 (10:44):
You don't have to do it for a show.

Speaker 3 (10:46):
I don't. I'm waiting. No, I'm actually going to take
some dance classes. I think you are.

Speaker 1 (10:51):
You ever danced before?

Speaker 3 (10:52):
I've never danced before, but I really love it.

Speaker 1 (10:54):
Okay, Well, we're trying to dance classes like ballroom or
a lot, but.

Speaker 3 (10:58):
I don't know if there's like of adult ballroom classes
around here. And also feels weird dancing with someone that's
not Sasha. I think maybe some hip hop or some
heels classes.

Speaker 1 (11:08):
I have great heels classes for you.

Speaker 3 (11:10):
Do you do? Yes?

Speaker 2 (11:11):
Literally, Blakesley, my daughter, Yes, came to LA. She's a
she's a competitive dancer and one of her actually you
might know Amanda Clutes. Nope, Mia Masterwell was one of
the dancers on the finale, but also I think on
another episode. So she used to dance at Blakesley's dance studio.

(11:33):
She's a professional dancer. She does a heels class. Or
look for Brian Friedman's classes. He's amazing. Anyway, she is
choreographing Blakesley solo for this season. But she was at
the Dancing with the Stars finale. She was one of
the She was in the Barbie number.

Speaker 1 (11:51):
Oh okay her, she was she was what.

Speaker 2 (11:55):
What do you call it where Julianna is always like
that little.

Speaker 3 (12:00):
Yes, Yes, she was in for sure.

Speaker 2 (12:03):
And she was in another dance too, white. I remember
her being in white. Someone's dance was white and you
remember how fun World.

Speaker 1 (12:11):
So there's a heels class that she.

Speaker 2 (12:12):
Does out out for you, for sure, if I wanted to,
I love that. And then people are going to show
up and be like Jen Tran was supposed to be here.

Speaker 1 (12:19):
I want to take to the heels class.

Speaker 3 (12:21):
See that. That's my other thing about taking these dance
classes is that then people will actually have to see
me attempt to dance, and let me tell you, like,
at the beginning of the process, I look horrendous, like
I like, no, it's like it's actually really embarrassing. So
that's the other thing that I have to overcome is
having people watch me attempt to dance. Because once I

(12:41):
practice it, like five million times, then I get good.
But the beginning is like, like, what is she doing here?
No talent, no, no, no no.

Speaker 2 (12:49):
I think that's the beauty of the show really truly,
it's that they can these professionals who.

Speaker 1 (12:55):
Are so freaking good, so good, so good, so good.

Speaker 2 (12:59):
They can hern people who have never danced before into
ballroom dancers like, oh my gosh, I know you're close
with Chandler.

Speaker 3 (13:09):
Chandler so beautiful, like so mean, Yeah.

Speaker 1 (13:14):
Is she doing anything after this?

Speaker 3 (13:16):
She's gonna go on tour. She's going on tour.

Speaker 1 (13:18):
Okay, good, are you going on tour?

Speaker 3 (13:19):
I wasn't sorry, I really wanted I'm sorry, that's okay, Okay.

Speaker 2 (13:25):
Hey, don't count it out for not doing anything in
the dance world.

Speaker 1 (13:28):
Totally could.

Speaker 3 (13:29):
I know, I'm going to try to. Okay, I love
to come to the class with me. I would, although
you're going to shine, I can't take. You're gonna got
to stand far away compared to you. Oh my gosh,
I would.

Speaker 2 (13:43):
Look, we need to get like a dance class together,
bachelor people, yes, and.

Speaker 1 (13:47):
Just do something fun fun?

Speaker 3 (13:49):
How fun would that be? Okay, we're putting it in
the books.

Speaker 1 (13:53):
Thank you for coming to chat. I always talking to you.
Thanks for tuning in almost famous. Oh jeez,
