Speaker 1 (00:00):
This is the Ben and Ashley I Almost Famous podcast
with on our.
Speaker 2 (00:04):
Radio Bachelor headlines. We're here with almost famous podcasts. This week.
We don't have a lot of headlines, but we do
us some important, some big week.
Speaker 3 (00:12):
Have a lot of pregnancy announcements.
Speaker 2 (00:14):
There we go. Let's start with the pregnancy announcements. The
first one is pregnant Bachelor alum Madison Pruett reveals sex
of her baby with husband Grant.
Speaker 3 (00:27):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (00:27):
So last week we talked about, of course your baby
to b and yours. Oh yeah, and how you guys
are having a girl? Wait did you say that?
Speaker 2 (00:42):
Yeah? We did.
Speaker 4 (00:43):
Okay, okay, so it's the girl. And then Maddie on
the same day announced that she was pregnant, and now
she's telling us that it is also a girl, and.
Speaker 3 (00:57):
Now and the other the pregnancy headlines to just go
in for it.
Speaker 4 (01:00):
Tia Booth is pregnant as well, but we do not
know this act of that baby yet.
Speaker 2 (01:05):
Didn't you just have a baby?
Speaker 4 (01:07):
I think the age difference is going to be the
exact same as Dawson. And seriously, yeah, yeah, because Tatum
is I think a year and a half, so maybe
they'll be a little bit less than two and a
half years.
Speaker 3 (01:23):
Interesting, Yeah, maybe two years.
Speaker 2 (01:25):
That's big news for both of them, something I'm sure
Bachelor Nation is very excited about. But also something we're
very excited about here. It's the almost famous podcast Babies
are being made. Why do you think that is, Ashley.
Speaker 3 (01:40):
Because a lot of us are married now.
Speaker 2 (01:41):
I don't know, it's probably true. It's probably good all
growing up, Ben, we're all growing up and we're you know, multiplying,
We're being fruitful and multiplying our families. Right, yeah, No,
that's it. That's all you got. Yeah, like a little bit. Yeah, okay, cool.
Speaker 4 (02:01):
Yeah. Why do you have like another reasoning why we're multiplying?
Speaker 2 (02:06):
No, I think it's love is in the air. I
think everybody's really excited about bringing kids into this world.
Speaker 4 (02:11):
And so is Jenna Cooper. By the way, guys, Jenna Cooper,
who we all remember from Bachelor in Paradise, She is
also pregnant. Baby Hudson is coming February twenty twenty five
and all these and she already has a daughter, Presley.
Speaker 2 (02:27):
Is it a thing to like say the name and
the sex early?
Speaker 3 (02:31):
Is it a thing to give them both in the
same announcement.
Speaker 2 (02:34):
Yeah, I thought the name was like always save for
after the birth.
Speaker 4 (02:38):
We did it with Dawson. With Dawson, we announced his
name because nice little partnerships with Amazon.
Speaker 2 (02:45):
Yeah, that'd be good.
Speaker 4 (02:47):
But if it weren't for the partnership with Amazon, and yeah,
we would have.
Speaker 2 (02:50):
Somebody pays me enough money, I'll say the name.
Speaker 4 (02:52):
Yeah, Okay, we were so set on Dawson's name that
you would have always said it early. That would have
been fine. It would have been totally. It was just sacked.
Speaker 2 (03:03):
The kid's got to go to college, so like, you
pay me now, you know you can. Amazon can be
responsible for all college funds.
Speaker 4 (03:11):
That's great, That's what I say. I'm like, whenever anybody
gives me crap, I'm like, guys, this baby is yes,
the baby, the baby, he could go to college now.
But also, you know what makes me feel guilty. There's
this book in Dawson Dawson's room now that is like
an alphabet book, but it says D is for dominic.
(03:32):
Because for a while we were gonna name the kid dominic.
So at my baby sprinkles, somebody gave me a book
that is D is for dominic, and no, I look
at it, and I feel.
Speaker 2 (03:41):
Guilty, Yeah you should.
Speaker 4 (03:44):
I feel guilty for them spending money on a book
that doesn't have anything to do with Hayden's name. And
it also makes me feel weird because it's like one
day Hayden is that both of them are going to
look at it as like, d it's for dominic Grandpa's.
Speaker 2 (03:59):
Name, and you don't matter, that's what you should say.
And because of that you don't matter, You're.
Speaker 4 (04:06):
Gonna really ruin your kid's mind? Are you with like
all your dry sarcasm?
Speaker 2 (04:11):
I can't wait.
Speaker 3 (04:13):
It's a girl. You can't mess with her like that.
Speaker 2 (04:15):
I know I won't either. She's gonna have me like literally, yeah,
the girl's gonna literally have me just like crying like
tears of joy, tiers of all things all the time,
like she's mad. Dad has a mess. Like when she
grows up, her traum is gonna be like my dad
was just like really teary eyed all the time, Like
(04:36):
I don't really he never really said much, He never
really did much. Just he just cried and then I'd
be like, yeah, that was the only thing I could do.
Speaker 4 (04:45):
Too cute, I don't know.
Speaker 2 (04:48):
Someon would call it issues. A uh, the biggest headline
of the week though, No, babies are huge, like new
Life in this World is massive, but the headline like
really covering. Yeah, all headlines like going across news stations, Yeah,
all of Instagram, every single thing I pull up, it's Twitter,
It's it's Kaylin Bristow and I have a lot of
(05:09):
thoughts on this, and I want to hear yours first.
Though Kaylen Bristow insinuates she reached out to Tasha Adams
after going on a date with Zach Clark. Now here's
the deal. To say this headline is to make assumptions.
Because Kayln does do this interview that Ashley will tell
us about. She doesn't really say Tasha's name, but let's
be clear, it's very clear to everybody she's talking about Tasha,
(05:30):
So Ashley take it away.
Speaker 4 (05:33):
So on Sunday, an episode of the Betches podcast You Up,
Uh Huh was released and Haitln said, I went on
a date with someone from the franchise, and I reached
out to the girl that he used to be with.
She and I hadn't talked in months, and no, we're
not friends. We probably look like friends on the outside,
(05:54):
but we're not. That's what makes it seem like it's Taysha.
Speaker 2 (05:59):
Is that what makes it seem like it's.
Speaker 4 (06:01):
There's lots of things that makes it seem like it's
Stasia because we all kind of know even though it's
not out there, like they haven't released this information, but
like that Zach and Caitlin have had something in the past,
currently have something going on romantically, but neither of them
(06:22):
have ever confirmed it. So there's step number one, it's
probably a recent story. It's step number two in it
being probably Tasia. And and then what I'm saying here
is that it looks like we're friends, but we're not.
And that would be because the two of them hosted
the show together, but like obviously they were just work
(06:43):
friends and not real friends or coworkers you want to
call it, not real friends. And then what happens else
in the time in the situation that she's shucking you
on the podcast as she goes, I asked, you know,
what the girl's thoughts were, and she didn't text or
(07:04):
apply me back. She called me.
Speaker 3 (07:07):
She called me and she said, you're a bad person.
I've always known this, and your true colors are showing now.
So obviously the girl did not support Caitlin pursuing anything
with the guy who reached out to her. Whoever this
guy might be for m bacheloration, And that is the
story that Caitlyn told on this podcast, And of course
(07:29):
everybody is buzzing because it seems as if it's like
kind of step one in Caitlin and Zach perhaps becoming
a public couple. I don't know, maybe maybe not.
Speaker 4 (07:40):
Because if she wasn't comfortable with them being a public couple,
I don't think she would have told this story or
soon to be a public couple. I don't know, Ben,
what is your take on this?
Speaker 2 (07:50):
Well, part of it is my take. I mean that's
a big question because there's a lot to this that
I think we can have takes on, Like what part
do you want mine necessarily opinion on because we've made
no secret here and I will never back down this.
I care a lot about Kaitlin Bristo. I think she
(08:11):
is somebody that will always have a like a part
of my life, no matter if it's really far distance
or not. Like she's somebody that obviously not only because
she was the bachelor on the season, but because I've
gotten an r side of it.
Speaker 4 (08:23):
Oh my gosh. Yeah, Oh, I forgot a critical element
of the podcast episode. I don't keep going then, so
she said the girl said you're a bad person in
reference to Kaitlin, and then Caitlyn got so mad at
that comment that she said that made me really want
to send her a picture of me.
Speaker 2 (08:45):
His Yeah, I'd break it down like this again. I
think Caitlin has one of the most extremely loyal hearts
or like characters. I won't say hearts. I don't know
what that means. She's extremely loyal until you cross her,
and I think people and I think Caylen has easily crossed.
(09:06):
And I'm giving this like I'm saying this like I
would say it to Kaitlin. She gets crossed really quickly,
instead of taking the time to, like, you know, wade
through these waters and push some things aside that would
be offensive and probably be like, hey, yeah, Taysha, like
that comment hurts me. You have no longer like I'm
(09:28):
no longer like really respecting your opinion in this relationship
and just pushing that aside. That still sits with her
because she Taysha crossed her, and as a result, Caitlin
is going to make sure that somebody knows that Taisha
crossed her. I don't think that's a healthy way to
live life. I don't think that ends anywhere. Well, unless
(09:49):
you're making a headline and this becomes a headline. The
headlines work in this world.
Speaker 3 (09:54):
Tion no way she didn't think this would become a headline.
Speaker 2 (10:00):
There's no way. Caitlyn's really smart. So the other side
of this is that Caitlyn's really intelligent. She is. Nobody
would ever doubt Caitlin Bristow's intelligence and ability to navigate
the meteor world. She's great at it. Let's never assume
for a second she doesn't know what she's doing. She
knows that this is going to be controversial, and so
she's willing to take the heat like she has to be.
And if she's not, then that's a whole other conversation.
(10:21):
But I know Caitlin, and you know Caitlin, and I
want to assume that Caitlyn knows that she's going to
take some heat for this, but it's also going to
become a headline and it's gonna it's going to be
something and that and and having something out there helps
right people you know in this world do well, making headlines.
It's kind of the thing, right, what I've done this?
(10:44):
Do I think it would have been? Not? Would I
have done this? I might have done it. I don't
like when people cross me either. What I advise my
friends to do this would probably be the better way
to say that after like when I'm no, I wouldn't. However,
do I think she was in the wrong. No, I
don't in the.
Speaker 4 (11:02):
Wrong for telling the story or in the wrong for
reaching out to Taysha.
Speaker 2 (11:08):
Ooh, I think she was not in the wrong for
reaching out to Taysha.
Speaker 3 (11:13):
Obviously, she was not in the wrong for reaching out Todaysha.
Speaker 2 (11:16):
Yeah, but she When you reach out to somebody, you
have to expect both sides. You have to expect somebody
to be upset with about it. You don't have to
also like respond to it or hold it like hold
it in a responsible manner. You don't have to react
in the way that the person wants you to react.
But telling Tasha was probably like, was definitely the right
thing to do.
Speaker 4 (11:34):
Yeah, of course, I don't even know why I asked
that question. I suppose we don't even know. We don't
even know what she decided to do.
Speaker 2 (11:44):
Right, yeah, we do. Yeah she did.
Speaker 4 (11:47):
Okay, so there are some there are some photos, so
yeah she did. She insinuates that perhaps there is.
Speaker 2 (11:55):
Like there's still an ability to send a picture of that.
Speaker 4 (11:58):
Yes, yes, yes, So based on the fact that she
didn't like follow Tasha's wishes.
Speaker 2 (12:09):
Is no wrong.
Speaker 3 (12:10):
Yeah, there's no problem with that, no problem with that.
Speaker 2 (12:23):
But she told Tasha. Now, was she in the wrong
for telling a story? Yeah? Probably I would tell and like,
I'm okay, if Caitlyn sees this and reads this, I
don't think that was the right decision. I don't. I
wouldn't stand behind that and say, Kaitln, you did the
right thing by telling the world that this is how
it went down. You can tell your friends, you can
tell your family, your confidence whatever. Was it right to
(12:45):
tell the world. Probably not, because what it's going to
do is it's going to cause cause controversy. However, if
Caitlin was prepared for the headlines and for the heat,
then I don't know, like that's what she wanted. She
prepared for it, she knew it, and like I said,
Caitlyn's really smart and so I would be shocked if
she was like I'm gonna say this and nobody's gonna care.
(13:05):
Like I don't think Caitlyn thinks that way. She doesn't.
And so was this Was this a mistake she made?
I can't say that yet. She can't say that yet.
We don't know how this plays out.
Speaker 4 (13:19):
It's gonna be fine, and it's just gonna blow over it.
Just you know, she's just gonna have to handle a
lot of incoming opinions for the next week.
Speaker 2 (13:29):
Yeah, I just I don't know how Caitlyn does with that.
I mean, here's what Caitlyn needs to know. Kaitlyn needs
to know people love her and they love her because
of these moments. She's honest and she's vulnerable, and she
says some crazy stuff that makes you go, WHOA, that's wild.
I would never say that publicly. Does that mean it's
right or wrong? I don't know. I'm not the one
to judge that or even say that. Is it going
(13:51):
to bring Tasha into the picture again a little bit?
But like, Tasha doesn't need to respond to this, right
her response has already been given by how she you know,
talked about the first time.
Speaker 3 (14:02):
I wonder what Zach's response is.
Speaker 2 (14:05):
That's the person That's where I was getting is I
think the person that puts in the weirdest position to
Zach because Zach maybe never asked for any of this,
and he's Zach has been very private kind of since
the show on everything he's done except his mission to
alleviate people who you know, are and to support people
who are struggling with addiction. So that puts him in
(14:27):
a weird space. But that's more of a Caitlin and
Zach conversation than anybody else is.
Speaker 4 (14:32):
So that's why I was insinuating before that this seems
like it's almost like a soft launch, because I don't know, that's.
Speaker 2 (14:43):
A wild way to do a soft launch.
Speaker 4 (14:46):
Well, I don't think she would tell the story if
they were not together, or is this kind of like
a slap and they're not together. Hmm. That's a good question,
because it's seems like as if, like in my interpretation,
it seems like this was a story that she had approved,
(15:08):
she had gotten approval from him.
Speaker 2 (15:10):
There's zero chance that she called up Zach and was like, Hey,
here's the deal. I'm going on this podcast and I
am going to talk about the story in this once.
All this story is fine until she's like, you know what,
maybe want to.
Speaker 3 (15:22):
Do the part.
Speaker 2 (15:23):
Oh yeah, and then it was like, whoa, all right,
well that's a little vendetta, like a little vindictive. That's
pretty crazy, Caitlin. That's wild. Like you're not only like
admitting to the fact that you're like still with this dude,
you're also being like, I want to make sure she
knows that I am with this dude. That was the
(15:44):
part to put it over the edge. Everything else is fine.
Everything else is a story, everything else is a truth,
like is how the events occurred from her perspective, It
was that part that put it over the edge. I
would be shocked and I'm cool being wrong. I'll get
to text him Kaitlyn, and like, I want her to
tell me. I'll be shocked if Zach was like, I'm
(16:06):
cool if that part is said.
Speaker 3 (16:07):
Of that part, okay.
Speaker 2 (16:09):
It felt like something she said in a Caitlin Bristow
type way to make somebody laugh, to make it like
a little controversial, and it just is how Caitlyn talks.
Now people need to know that. That's just like sometimes
Caitlyn says things that you're like, that's just like Caitlin,
and is it right? I don't know. Again, you either
(16:29):
like her, you don't, But that just felt like a
moment where Caitlyn was getting way too comfortable in the
moment and said something that at the end of the
day she'll look back and be like, I probably could
not said that.
Speaker 4 (16:40):
So does that make you think that they are more
likely together or more likely broken up together?
Speaker 3 (16:46):
Together?
Speaker 2 (16:47):
Yeah? Together.
Speaker 4 (16:49):
You gave me a look.
Speaker 3 (16:50):
When I said that, as if you're like, I'm as
so sure.
Speaker 2 (16:54):
I just don't Well. I think my whole point was
I don't think Zach knew this was coming.
Speaker 4 (16:58):
Okay, So I keep trying it to you because I
definitely don't want to talk about it.
Speaker 3 (17:03):
I don't want to talk about it.
Speaker 2 (17:05):
Here's the deal. At the end of the day, like,
neither you or I are shocked by this interview because
it's Kaylin, and again we appreciate love and respect Kaylin. Now,
do I think this was the right move for her
to make? I would say no, it wouldn't be how
I advise a friend to have an interview. Does that
mean that Caitlyn would have listened to me? I don't know.
I don't think she would probably even call me to ask.
(17:27):
In my opinion, however, I do think she's very savvy
and very smart, and so I want to give her
the benefit of the doubt to say she knew that
that comment was gonna cause controversy and she was prepared.
I hope for that controversy to exist. Now it's gonna
spit her out, like you said, in two weeks, it's
(17:49):
gonna be a nothing and she's gonna be fine. But
I hope that Kate, Like, if Caitlyn comes to us
on an interview where Texas is like, I didn't know
that that statement was going to cause content, said say, kaitlinn.
We have a lot to figure out and talk about,
like how are you so unprepared for that moment? But
we like Kaitlin. She's funny and people like her because
(18:09):
she says this kind of stuff.
Speaker 4 (18:11):
It is so funny and it's like just brings you
back to how she introduced herself to Chris Sols. I'd
let you plow the f out of my field.
Speaker 2 (18:20):
Yeah, it's just Caitlin, like you just it's Caitlin Bristow.
So you like it or you don't, I don't know
what to tell you. Now. It does put Taysha in
a semi weird position. I just feel like Tasha doesn't
even need to respond because it's over and she's fine.
Does put Zach I think in a really weird position. However,
her and Kaylyn might figure it out and that's great.
(18:40):
Him and Kaylyn might figured it out and that's great. Uh,
it's just a big headline, and it was a wild
thing to say, and we're not used to, let's be clear,
nor do I think we ever should get used to.
We're not used to somebody being this detailed blunt in
an interview.
Speaker 4 (19:00):
Now, what's interesting is that this headline comes from a
podcast that's not Caitlin's.
Speaker 2 (19:06):
Why would she not have said out there?
Speaker 4 (19:08):
Why would she say it on there and not her
not give promotion to her own podcast.
Speaker 3 (19:13):
I think she was.
Speaker 4 (19:14):
Probably just like pretty comfortable, and they obviously asked a
question that led her into that story. But like you know,
you and I deal with this sometimes this podcast, where
people will say something and then they don't want it
in there, and then you debate whether you keep it
in there or not.
Speaker 2 (19:33):
Most of the time we say no, we'll take it out.
Speaker 4 (19:35):
We're usually pretty we're too nice about it. But in
this case, I wonder if if you blurt this out
and you tell the story because you're feeling sassy or
you had a couple of drinks, who knows, and then
you're like, oh crap, that's how a headline is made
a podcast.
Speaker 3 (19:54):
It's not your own.
Speaker 2 (19:55):
Yeah, if I was Kaitlyn, I would definitely be saying
that on The Almost Famous podcast, which is why my
wife and I will be doing our whole first baby
interview this Wednesday on the Almost Famous podcast, so you
can tune in to listen to it here.
Speaker 4 (20:10):
All right, guys, Well until next time, I've been Ashley.
Speaker 2 (20:14):
And I've been Ben, and those are.
