Speaker 1 (00:00):
This is the Ben and Ashley I Almost Famous podcast
with iHeartRadio.

Speaker 2 (00:06):
Welcome back to the Almost Famous podcast.

Speaker 3 (00:09):
It's been in back by.

Speaker 2 (00:10):
Very popular man, outrageously popular to the man, the man
who brings the joy, the truth, the light, the man
who lights up our years with his voice and analyzation
of reality television. Easton, Welcome back.

Speaker 4 (00:31):
What an introduction. Wow, Well, I'm glad to be back.
I'm so honored to return. I am glad I passed
the audition. Yeah, and I'm excited to continue this world
of Perfect Match with you. Ben. I'm just having the
best time.

Speaker 3 (00:47):
Yeah, you blew us away.

Speaker 2 (00:50):
Listeners were scraping at their phones to comment. Please bring
Easton back, He's so good at this. We are breaking
down The Perfect Match episodes three and four. If you
haven't been a part of this yet, we're breaking down
the Perfect Match this season because Bachelor Nation has a
lot to do with this season of The Perfect Match.

(01:10):
We have two contestants now starting in episode three from
The Bachelor. Both Rachel and Clayton are on the beaches
in Tulom for the Perfect Match. We got to follow
their story. This is an exciting time for Bachelor Nation
to see if something can be rekindled after the massive
heartbreaks that occurred during Clayton's season of The Bachelor, leading

(01:33):
Rachel to go on to be the Bachelorette with Gabby Wendy. Today,
we're gonna be breaking down both episodes three and four
together because this season is great, but it's long and
we need to start consolidating, or we're gonna run out
of time, like.

Speaker 4 (01:52):
We don't mean run out of time, like before we die.

Speaker 2 (01:55):
Or I feel like this could go on for like
three months, like the show.

Speaker 3 (02:00):
It's a really weird.

Speaker 2 (02:01):
Thing when a show's streaming and it all gets released
and we're still talking about this like two and a
half months from now, and the show has been aired
for two and a half months and everybody's watched it.
I just feel like we'll get out of date.

Speaker 4 (02:15):
I agree, And I wonder if the dating show model
lends itself better to week by week because people love
to analyze and like make theories and stuff. It's kind
of weird to have it all out there at once, right.

Speaker 2 (02:29):
Yeah, it's like the binging thing. I also wonder I
don't know this world well enough. I wonder if the
money for a show is is better when it airs
week to week, Like, why would we ever do it
week to week if you're gonna get the same amount
of money for a show if people just binge it
in one night.

Speaker 3 (02:50):
But here's the truth.

Speaker 2 (02:53):
The press dies off and so the perfect match is
in everybody's thoughts right now, and it's all over the news,
especially episodes three and four, people are talking about and
in a month, nobody's gonna remember it, and so it's
kind of like a flash in the pan because it
comes and goes with a bachelor. It's all the only
thing people have in US weekly for two months as

(03:15):
it's airing exactly Okay, Easton, I'm going to get started
to just kind of get warmed up here. I know
there's a lot of nerves when it comes to co
hosting the Almost Famous podcast. There's a lot of responsibility.
So it's just like kind of rapid fires. Some thoughts.
How are you liking the show? Obviously you're here week
one we had Clayton and Ashley four, episodes two, you're

(03:37):
back for three and four, pretty far into this thing.

Speaker 3 (03:40):
How you liking it?

Speaker 4 (03:41):
And I'm loving it? I'm in It's a lot of fun. Again,
I don't watch a lot of these kind of like
dating reality shows, so I'm kind of like learning the
vibes and it's fun. I'm having a really good time.
I didn't know who any of these people were besides
Rachel and Clayton, and I'm loving him. I have like favorites,

(04:05):
I have people I dislike, and I'm like forming my
own relationships with these people. I'm forming my own perfect
match as I watched the show, and I'm having a blast.
I'm really joining this.

Speaker 3 (04:16):
Who are you liking right now? Like, who are you
rooting for?

Speaker 4 (04:20):
I love a d and Ali. They're like my favorite couple.
I love them. I want I know, well you know,
we'll get into it, but I want them to adopt me.
I love them and Louis. I've come around on Louis.

Speaker 3 (04:35):
You were a fan of Louis at first.

Speaker 2 (04:36):
I've been a fan of Louis not because I think
he's like the best dude in the world. He's entertaining
to me, and he's kind of like this. He's definitely
he actually he wants to not be twenty three. He's
definitely twenty three years old.

Speaker 4 (04:47):
Oh yeah, a big time. He threw me for a
curveball in episode three, and I enjoyed that. I thought
that was a lot of fun. He's really standing out
to me and we'll get it again. We'll get into this.
But I really enjoy Freddie too. I've really I really
liked Freddy on the date in this episode. Yeah, so

(05:09):
those but if I had to pick one favorite Ad
and Ali, I will die for them. I love them
so much.

Speaker 2 (05:14):
I think they're fantastic and it's awesome to see a
dynamic that you watch them and you're like, you could
actually work. Like it's very clear you can work in
the real world and the perfect match is not set
up as we talked about with Clayton to build those
real relationships, but you can meet your partner anywhere. And
it feels like to me at this point that they

(05:36):
are a real couple who really enjoy each other and
who can make each other laugh, and they have this
dynamic Easton.

Speaker 3 (05:43):
You're a married man.

Speaker 2 (05:45):
They have this dynamic that only exists within like years
of marriage where you can kind of like joke with
the other person about what's annoying you and you just
know it without saying it. But the person's like, I
know I'm driving them crazy right now. And it's awesome.

Speaker 4 (06:00):
Yes, absolutely, And like I was watching them and I
kept having to remind myself, like, oh, they've only known
each other a couple of days at this point, like
they four days, Yeah, four days, that's crazy. But like
I'm like, oh, they've been together six months at least
or a year. But yeah, it's really I know that,
like this setting lends itself to a very intense connection

(06:20):
very quickly, But I just think that they get along
so well. They seem so compatible to me.

Speaker 2 (06:27):
Well, it starts out with eighty and Ali were kind
of transitioning from episode two. They're in the boardroom making
the decisions on behalf of the house they just signed.
They decide to send Louis and Alex on a date.
Alex is the one that Ali was really pushing to
get into the home. I never felt like he was

(06:48):
doing it because he necessarily wanted to move on from Ad,
But I do think Ali was saying it with like, hey,
I wouldn't mind looking at her in the house for
the next few weeks.

Speaker 4 (06:57):
Yes, And I mean Alex is attractive. And I got
to shout out this quote from her like introduction, I
just I loved I rewound it and watched this two
or three times. I am constantly horny, the sexiest fire
I've never been in love. So I want to save
my freaker side from my man if I find him here.

(07:21):
I am constantly horny.

Speaker 3 (07:22):
I love that.

Speaker 4 (07:23):
I want that on a T shirt.

Speaker 3 (07:26):
Just walk around town.

Speaker 4 (07:28):
I am constantly horny.

Speaker 2 (07:31):
It's still amaze me since at the vulnerability and the
transparency that these contestants bring to the beach.

Speaker 3 (07:37):
It feels like a theme of.

Speaker 2 (07:38):
The season that they have found not only I don't
know what is it, ten attractive people, but ten very
vocal people about what they're on the beach four And
I enjoy it because again I go back to and
I sound like a record that's repeating itself. It makes
me uncomfortable, and I enjoy it because it's so different

(08:03):
than how I would function on a show like this.
And I enjoy watching it because I have respect, honestly
for their openness to just say, hey, I'm letting it
all out there.

Speaker 4 (08:15):
Yeah, I mean, I'm with you. I think if I
was on the show, I would have completely differently than
they are. And so that's why I love watching this,
because it's like, oh, this is what it would be
like to be this open in this vocal.

Speaker 3 (08:27):
This hot and horny all the time.

Speaker 4 (08:29):
Yeah, too hot to handle in a lot of cases.

Speaker 2 (08:31):
Yes, So I think on this date you preface Alex's
kind of feelings going into this date. They are a
very attractive couple. They have a lot of physical chemistry.
Here's my take on the date. Though, louis like she
makes him nervous. I think he's all talk, that's my

(08:52):
take on him. He's coming out swinging from the very
opening of this show with how Smoothie is and what
he can offer somebody, and he's kind of confident and
he's there. He goes on this date with Alex. It
feels like she makes him shudder, meaning he is so
like intimidated.

Speaker 4 (09:11):
Yes, I agree. And when they're on the date, they're
like in this pool and they do the underwater camera
and you can see Alex is like touching his leg
and at one point I think she's like playing with
his curly leg hair.

Speaker 3 (09:25):
Which it's kind of a weird camera shot.

Speaker 4 (09:28):
Yeah, very very weird. But I can tell he's like
I got the same vibe that he's being. He's quietly
intimidated at this point and it's like, oh God, what
is this force of nature that I've been reckoning with?

Speaker 3 (09:38):
I had to stop.

Speaker 2 (09:40):
Like that shot made me feel awkward because I didn't
know what they were going to be showing underneath the water,
Like I don't need to know that she's touching his
leg hair and that he is enjoying it.

Speaker 3 (09:52):
I didn't want to have to see that.

Speaker 2 (09:54):
I didn't see it, luckily, but it felt like that's
what they were going to back us into.

Speaker 4 (09:59):
Yeah, it was a We've talked about the camera work
in this show, like the the ims with the really
wide angle and like and this underwe the underwater camera.
Realizing that's an option, I'm like, oh god, what else
are we going to see with this thing? Now? I
know that's there?

Speaker 2 (10:16):
Is there like a dude scuba diving like right next
to him, Like how is is this a drone camera?

Speaker 3 (10:21):
Is it on a rope?

Speaker 2 (10:22):
Like in my In My Years of Bachelor, they did
have some underwater shots, but it was a guy holding
this underwater camera. That shot was very close, so you
see like three ft away kind of floating into him.

Speaker 3 (10:34):
Be like, oh my bad. Guys, Like.

Speaker 4 (10:37):
That's the thing I keep reminding myself too, is like
they're they're doing this stuff. It's no different from Bachelor,
but like and there's like, you know, a guy like me,
like wearing a backwards hat and cargo shorts is holding
a camera like it's the at them.

Speaker 2 (10:48):
So odd, that's so weird. Uh, this day doesn't have
a lot of like depth to it more than the
fact that they just feel like they're both into each other.
They're both there for similar reasons. They feel like very
similar humans. At this point Easton, it feels like to me,
there is no shot Louie is going with anybody other
than Alex.

Speaker 4 (11:10):
Yep, but he's you know, he's really into Sandy. So
like when I saw this date, I was like, oh,
it's over. It's over for her. He's good. And they
keep showing other contestants talking about how Louis loves a
shiny new thing out Louis loves new things, like okay,
well here's a new thing. He's on a date with her.

(11:30):
It's over, and we learned that that is not the case.
It's very interesting.

Speaker 2 (11:35):
It is very interesting. Freddie and Rachel are also set
up on a date. Remember this is all done by
Adi and Ali. The really funny dynamic. Here is Ady
back at the house. She's telling all the girls how
beautiful Alex is and how beautiful Rachel is, and how
nervous she is about her man, who also helped her
invite these people.

Speaker 3 (11:55):
Into the home.

Speaker 2 (11:57):
I enjoy these conversations because not only did it bring
some suspense to the show for me, where I'm like,
I get it, eighty, You're you're not wrong here, it's
also just funny and enjoyable to see contestants on a
rally show in a lot of ways be supportive of
other people, like Ady was saying, nothing more than just like, gosh,

(12:20):
dang it, these people are pretty coming in here.

Speaker 3 (12:22):
I don't like it.

Speaker 4 (12:25):
Yeah, it's again this like uh mechanic of bringing in
the new people through the boardroom. It's so it's so
interesting and it makes you like it adds so many
different layers to how you're playing the game here. But yeah,
I mean, eighty's really excited about everyone that could potentially
be coming in and uh and what she ends up choosing. Rachel.

(12:48):
Rachel Rekia are our favorite person someone I've spent a
lot of time with. Rachel. I was like seeing a
friend on screen. It was really cool.

Speaker 2 (12:57):
It was I haven't seen her on screen a long time.
This felt like a very good, like Dan Namic, for
her to kind of walk in late meet this guy.
Both these dates Easton, in my mind, were perfect setups
if they were gonna break up a couple currently existing
in the house. It was just remind everybody, it's Freddie
and Madison still in the villa up to this point.
It was Louis and Sandy in the villa up until

(13:20):
this point. It felt like they hit a home run
when it came to breaking up these relationships because both
dates feel really good to me, and they feel like
very similar people.

Speaker 3 (13:31):
Freddie.

Speaker 2 (13:32):
If you listen to our last episode where Clayton co hosted,
he talks about just how great of a dude Freddy is.
He's everything you think he isn't and more. Rachel's an
amazing person, and so in my eyes, I'm like, Rachel
found her guy. There's gonna be no drama between her
and Clayton. They might even just say hi to each other,
but there's no way there's any crossover here. There's no

(13:55):
way these two entertained getting back together. That would be
foolish for them to try to do.

Speaker 4 (14:02):
Yeah, this painting. Date is so cute and they seem
to be getting along great. And Rachel Rekia we know
her very well. She's gifted in many, many ways. Painting
is not one of her talents. I'm sorry, Rachel.

Speaker 3 (14:17):
She can fly a plane. She cannot paint.

Speaker 4 (14:19):
She cannot she cannot paint.

Speaker 3 (14:21):
It is.

Speaker 4 (14:21):
I'm going to say it right here. It's just the
worst painting I think I've ever seen. This is all
just abysmal. It made me want to turn the TV
off when I saw that painting. But that there, the
date is so cute, and I'm like, oh my god,
this is it. And I keep tricking myself because I'm like, oh,
this is this is her mat. She found her guy.
They're going to ride up in the sunset. Oh no,
how wrong I was.

Speaker 5 (14:42):
Oh God, okay, I have to put you on to
these leggings I've been obsessed with lately. They're from this
brand called Tona, and get this, the designer behind them
also created Lululemon, so they know what they're doing. These

(15:05):
leggings are next level, think butterysoft, super flattering, and very comfortable,
but they're also very supportive in the right places. So
I started wearing them when the kids and I go
out to play, and now I'm basically living in them
twenty four seven. And here's what makes them even better.
With every payer you buy, it helps fund a mental

(15:29):
health counseling session for a teen in need. Isn't that
so awesome? Tona is on a mission to end teen
suicide and self harm, which we think is so important
and so incredible of them, So we partnered with Tona
to give you twenty percent off your order and free shipping.
So head to tonaactive dot com that is tnaactive dot

(15:52):
com and use code iHeart for twenty percent off in
free shipping.

Speaker 2 (16:00):
And Alex's return from their date, Sandy says that her
stomach has dropped. Also, Freddy and Rachel returned back to
the villa from their date, and as Easton was kind
of referencing there, we have to remember that Clayton is
still at the villa with no idea that Rachel is
going to show up. Clayton is shocked. In fact, Easton,

(16:25):
we were all shocked. It's fun to see the two
of them together in a house that we can watch.
We have gotten to see it on an almost famous
podcast trip before there did seem to still be sparks,
so I wasn't shocked that maybe they would entertain each other.
But I was also thinking, at this point Rachel's with Freddy,
Clayton is not even going to get the time of

(16:46):
day from Rachel.

Speaker 3 (16:47):
Why would she do that again? That would be.

Speaker 2 (16:50):
Crazy interesting takeaway. It feels like most of the house,
if not all of the house, had no clue that
Rachel and Clayton would know each other.

Speaker 4 (17:00):
Yeah, it seems like most of the people there, maybe
all of them have not seen The Bachelor before, Like
they seem very like they're aware of it, but.

Speaker 3 (17:09):
I don't know.

Speaker 4 (17:09):
There wasn't anyone that was like, oh my god, it's Raly,
it's Clayton from The Bachelor, like like they have those
reactions to other people like Juliette got a big pop
from a O. The csta key fans out there were
losing their minds. Uh, But they didn't know they had it,
that they knew each other A littlone had this dramatic
history and uh. Clayton says that the last time he

(17:31):
saw Rachel in person was about a year ago, and
I was thinking about that, and I'm like, was that
the Almost Famous trip. I got so excited because I
mean I wasn't there personally, but I was like, oh
my god, that's I wish. I was really hoping he'd say, yeah,
it was about a year ago in Pebble Beach, California
with the almost Famous podcast. But then actually I.

Speaker 3 (17:52):
That you can listen to it anywhere.

Speaker 4 (17:55):
Yeah, yeah, you can listen to my immediate reaction. I
think I talked about it on the on the podcas. Yes,
but yeah, they're their reaction or their reunite recarnunion, Yeah,
their reunion. I was expecting it to just be like, oh, hey,
I'm doing I'm here too, like it's it's good to
see you, like may the best man win, and then

(18:15):
just kind of like going their merry way. Oh god, Uh,
it didn't happen. How did this happen? Like, like, how
did they how did that sparkt re ignited it?

Speaker 2 (18:25):
I think it was a hello to a can we
come talk conversation where it and it happens at the
end of the night. I think both had had started
to realize that if not for each other, they were
going home. You know, the beauty of reality television and
how these shows are set up. Nobody really wants.

Speaker 3 (18:45):
To go home.

Speaker 2 (18:45):
You don't say yes to this experience, and you don't
get in shape for this experience. You don't buy clothes
for this experience. You don't start prepping for this experience
with the idea that, yes, I'm just going to give
it a good couple hour shot.

Speaker 3 (18:58):
Here.

Speaker 2 (18:59):
There's a lot of reasons why you want to stick around.
I think that is something that we have to remember
when it comes to the Clayton Rachel dynamic. Is it
definitely felt like Clayton had no interest in Juliette any longer,
that the two of them were holding on by a thread,
and that he knew if he didn't make the move first,
she would be probably dumping him as soon as she

(19:20):
was set up on a date with somebody she liked
just a little bit more. Rachel comes into a house
with some strong couples that already exist, and really her
shot is with Freddie kind of shockingly because I don't
see it, Freddie, the Freddie Madison relationship. I definitely see
that Freddi Rachel. I don't see the Freddy Madison relationship.

(19:42):
You know, Freddie seems pretty stuck on Madison. He comes
pretty much right back to her when he walks into
the house. This all comes up to Nick Lachey kind
of sharing with us the two ladies will be leaving
at the end of the night. So two of these
ladies that are in the house currently people who have
you know, been in cup relationships previously on the Perfect

(20:04):
Match and some of those newbies could be going home.
Alex and Rachel obviously newbies, but they had great dates.
This brings us to I think the Perfect Match we
would call like the cocktail party where everybody starts to
have to come together in some way to see who's
going to match and who's not.

Speaker 4 (20:23):
Yeah, and I was thinking about the Madison Freddie relationship
and like Freddy goes on the date with Rachel and
Madison's just bawling. She's like so sad. Yeah, And I
think I can't remember who said it. It was Louis
or one of the British guys was like, oh, you
think that he just went away to wool and I'm

(20:44):
like yeah, yeah, I'm like screaming my TV. I'm like,
you've known each other for like seventy two hours, why
are you reacting this way? And I know they just
want to you know, they want to hang on, they
want to hang onto each other, they want to stick around.
It's Ollie says that she's that Madison's manipulating him with
her tears. This made me I'm not a Madison fan

(21:04):
at this point. I don't like Madison. I want her
to be castaway immediately. And but you know, then we
start this game of musical chairs at this cocktail party.
We're going to figure out who who has to go
home and and who gets to stay. There's a lot
of interest in Alex at this party. A lot of
people have a wandering eye.

Speaker 2 (21:26):
Yes, Madison, you know, she was kind of a character,
not top of mind until this moment. She was so
emotional that it did rub me the wrong way. What
you came on this show. You just met this guy
the day before, you're so sad. It feels it does

(21:48):
feel in a lot of ways where Freddie is a
sensitive fella, that this will play into his decision making
because he doesn't want us to make Madison cry. I just
don't see it, Easton, I don't see it frustrates me
like it frustrated you. I don't like that she's doing this.
Everybody else there is handling it with respect and humor,

(22:10):
where it's like, gosh, dang it, yeah, our guy went
on a day with hot girl, or our girl went
on a day with the hot guy. She absolutely breaks down,
which to me would be in a lot of ways
a red flag on a show like this, where it's like,
how emotional can you really get after forty eight hours
of knowing somebody that they just went on a date

(22:31):
that they didn't even choose to go on. They got
told they were going on it. It's not like he
was like asking for it.

Speaker 4 (22:37):
That's true. It's so bizarre, But you know, I guess
that this is the nature of perfect.

Speaker 2 (22:43):
Match and anyway to see some relationships. Alex is getting
a lot of attention from the guys. It is a
very superstar moment for her. She comes into the house
and every head turns. I think that almost goes against
her because so many people are interested in her that

(23:05):
I think a lot of the guys are nervous to
even talk to her because they know that if they do,
they might get convinced to go a different direction. I
also don't know how much interest she showed anybody other
than Louie. I mean, I think there was obviously some
some single men in the house or some men that

(23:27):
were a lot more accessible to switching to somebody new
than Louie. But I kind of feel like she didn't
play it as hard as she could have. I think
she had Clayton. She could have gotten Clayton in a second.
I could honestly have seen her. I don't know where

(23:47):
Freddy's mind was at. It felt like Freddie was very
much a free agent, but shockingly he maybe isn't.

Speaker 3 (23:55):
It just didn't it didn't make sense.

Speaker 4 (23:58):
Yeah, I agree. At one point, Ollie talks to her
and again, like you know we said earlier, like I
think he just wants to have her around because she's
nice to look at, and it's like, oh, it would
be fun to just kind of have her nearby. But
I don't think we're gonna be the match. But I agree,
she's only really shown interest in Louie and I, you know,
I wonder if she she's from Temptation Island, so I

(24:20):
wonder if she is aware of Louis's reputation. I do
really I enjoyed they go on like a they go
off on their own, Louis and Alex and they do
like a speed dating thing because Louis like really trying hard,
like do I need.

Speaker 3 (24:35):
To This is so funny. I forgot this scene.

Speaker 4 (24:40):
It's so good. Uh, he's trying to decide if he's
gonna leave Sandy and go with with Alex, And something
I just thought was funny is he's like, uh, we
need to do a speed dating thing here, like let's
get to know each other. And then like then he
has just nothing to say, he has no question. She's like,
you ask me a question, are you are you interested
in anything? He's like, uh, what's her favorite color?

Speaker 3 (25:02):
So good?

Speaker 2 (25:02):
It's such a I mean, that's what I'm saying. I
think she throws Louis off.

Speaker 3 (25:07):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (25:08):
I don't think he has the confidence that he communicates
and has shown most of the season. I think she
intimidates him and he's nervous about that. For whatever reason,
she makes him so nervous and you see it there. Well,

(25:28):
this kind of goes back and forth. It comes all
back to the Clayton and Rachel conversation. Ultimately, no big
shockers here. Ali Ndy match. First, then you have the
Freddie and Madison match. I think that is a shocker,
but we've kind of talked to that here, and at
that point, Rachel's seeing that maybe this date that she

(25:49):
went on is not going to be something that keeps
her around. Daniel and Lucy match not surprising. So we
have Rachel and Clayton, we have Louie still sitting out
there deciding between at this point Sandy and Alex, Clayton
wants Rachel to match. Yeah, Easton, as we live in

(26:14):
this vacuum and in this moment, I hear this and
see this, and I am saying, I remember when Rachel
co hosted a show with us, and I feel like
I asked her. I said, there's no way you got
back with Clayton, right, and she didn't answer me. I'm
at this point going, what are you doing?

Speaker 3 (26:35):
Rachel?

Speaker 2 (26:37):
I get it because I want Rachel around. And so
there is this side of me Easton when it comes
to gameplay that's saying, Rachel, just say yes, but don't
get too invested into this and wait until the next
week when somebody knew is here. I want you on
this show, so just do what you gotta do to
get on the show.

Speaker 3 (26:58):
But there's a twinkle in her eye that.

Speaker 2 (27:00):
I see that makes me feel like goodness gracious, Rachel,
you're still into this guy, like this is real for you.

Speaker 4 (27:11):
I got the exact same vibe and we see, you know,
things go different way later on and we see her reaction,
and I felt so bad for her because, like, going
into this, I was remembering how Clayton treated her on
The Bachelor, and I was like, oh, there's no there's
no way, there's no way. But like when you're especially

(27:32):
in this, you're in tu loom, you're in this like
you're back in a very similar scene. How easily can
you slide back into those emotions or remember those initial
connections you had? That's those are hard to ignore in
those in those situations, Clayton says something to her that
I found that really stuck out to me. I enjoyed.

(27:52):
He said, I believe everything happens for a reason. It's
the screensaver on my phone. That's so good. With respect
to Clayton.

Speaker 3 (28:05):
So deep, goodness, gracious, have never heard it before.

Speaker 4 (28:08):
It's so deep, you know. So then after that moment,
anytime I was watching this with my lovely wife Allison,
but after anytime someone would like kind of say like
a cliched platitude or something, we would just go. It's
a screensaver on my phone.

Speaker 3 (28:22):
Yeah, you know, I'm always horny.

Speaker 4 (28:27):
Is the screensaver on my phone? And I wonder if
Clayton actually does have a have his log screen just
say everything happens for a reason.

Speaker 3 (28:35):
I hope he does, and I hope it helps him.

Speaker 4 (28:39):
Bless his heart, it helped him make this decision. Wants
to get back with Rachel.

Speaker 2 (28:45):
Pause here for a second. Allison does watch this with you.
She's not big into reality television either. Is she enjoying
the perfect match?

Speaker 1 (28:52):
She is?

Speaker 4 (28:55):
She is tolerating the perfect match. I would She's not
at home right now desperately wanting to watch episode five.
But she had fun and she like I was just
I put it on, and I'm like, oh, she's gonna
be on her phone immediately, But she was like locked
in and she kept like pausing it to be like, Okay,
here's what I think Allie has to do here. So

(29:16):
she got more locked in than I was expecting. So
I think she's more into it than she's letting on too.

Speaker 2 (29:22):
Yeah, I mean it is it's Jessica for me. They're
both big readers. I thought she was just gonna be
kindling the whole time during this show, but no, she
watched it also, which shocked me and surprises me at
every level. I don't know what it is about this show,
but we're hooked. Rachel and Clayton end up saying yes,

(29:49):
let's match. We see them go back to the room together.
It feels comfortable and also uncomfortable in a lot of ways,
where they're kind of reintroducing each other to one another,
even though they have had a history. They will now
be spending the night together in this hotel room for

(30:12):
the first time in years since Clayton was the bachelor
in the Fantasy suitees week, which we all know, you know,
blew up in his world and also hers. She was crushed.
But they say yes to each other. It is a
source of comfort for them to regnite in tou Loom.
Then we get into the Louis situation. Going into this evening,

(30:35):
I thought there was no question he was going to
be going with Alex, but we see something in Louis
that I don't know. I think it's a big moment
for Louie. I don't know if anybody has ever seen
this from Louis before, where the shiny new thing even
though it's shiny, very shiny. He says, no, I'm going
to go back to what I have. I think it's

(30:56):
a great moment for him when we should celebrate what
he's pushing to get with Louis. Juliette at this point
is saying, Hey, Louis, we're friends. Let's just make this
thing work, and he kind of laughs and says there's
no way. Sandy comes into the conversation not wanting to
work hard at convincing him. She just pretty much says,
do you do what you want to do. I'm not

(31:17):
going to try to convince you here. And I love that.
There's like a confidence in Sandy. And Alex is sitting
off to the side, fully expecting Louis to come back
to Alex, but he doesn't.

Speaker 3 (31:31):
He picks Sandy.

Speaker 4 (31:32):
It's beautiful. It's a big moment of growth for Louis.
For me personally, I don't know if he was actually
going through growth, but at least my experience, YEA a
living like, Wow, this guy's really like learning about like
connecting emotions to these to these feelings he's having and
looking at a future with this person, not just what
is exciting to me right now. However, we can't ignore

(31:57):
that during his speed dating with Alex, she she said
something about well, like I think she said something like
you seem like the type of guy that needs more
than one person or something, but like I'm down to share.
And he's like, oh really, and he's like saying, hmm,

(32:17):
what can I And so then he and then, with
the confidence of a twenty three year old man on
a reality show, he walks over to Sandy and he's like,
maybe a thriple situation and she's like, no, not at all.
And he's like, Okay, what a shot.

Speaker 3 (32:33):
But I forgot that.

Speaker 4 (32:34):
At that moment, He's like, I think he realizes what
he stands to lose, and he and he stays with Sandy.
It's really it is really beautiful. I do feel bad
for Alex because she she is only there for a day, right, Like,
she goes home immediately.

Speaker 2 (32:50):
And it feels like she, in her mind did all
the right things. She petted his leg, talked about throples,
and I think she thought, Hey, what else could I
have on here? Yeah, we didn't get to know Alex well,
there is really one storyline that we got to know
about Alex. It is beautiful, though, and I don't know
if Louis would say that this was a moment of

(33:12):
growth for him or not, but it felt like it.
It felt like he was processing a lot slowly, but
processing it and deciding that, no, this Sandy is somebody
I am intrigued by, interested in.

Speaker 3 (33:26):
And it's good for me. Let's stick together.

Speaker 2 (33:28):
Their relationship skyrocketed to a depth that did not exist before,
so maybe this will end up being good for them.
But one thing that is never good for a couple
Easton is to see your committed partner in a monogamous
relationship make out with somebody else in front of you
in a lot of ways, or at least right beside you.

(33:50):
And that's what happens next in the Perfect Match, because
goodness gracious, that's what the Perfect Match is. The next day,
as everybody wakes up from the craziness of the night before,
we have said goodbye to Juliette at this point, who
says that Clayton and Rachel are going to be boring.
Nick Lache introduces us to something that I'm guessing is

(34:11):
tradition on this show, the kissing challenge, where all of
your senses are muted and you are now to kiss
every person in the house and rate it. A few
issues I have with this. One is obvious it's gonna
only affect the stronger couples.

Speaker 4 (34:31):
Yes.

Speaker 2 (34:32):
The second is, how do you not know who you're kissing?
Even like all these people are either big or they're small,
they have beards or they don't. You gotta be knowing
who you're kissing at any given moment. There's no surprises here.

Speaker 4 (34:48):
Yeah. I mean, if you're like really just out of
it and not paying attention, how could you at least
not know that you were kissing Alie? Like he had
to be the one who like he's the only guy
with the giant beard.

Speaker 2 (35:01):
Uh.

Speaker 4 (35:01):
It's you know, and at the very least, like the
person you're matched with. You probably hopefully you've unless you're Clayton,
you've been kissing a lot at this point.

Speaker 3 (35:09):
Uh.

Speaker 4 (35:09):
And you probably know how they how they work their mannerisms.
This Uh, this kissing competition, the Waivers people must sign
to be on this show. It's crazy to me. Allison
called this consent to the game, and I was like,
oh my god. Uh, But then I was also, we're

(35:31):
watching them do this. They're wearing they're wearing blindfolds and
the ring these like these noise canceling headphones or something,
and they're just making out all at the same time,
all in a row, and we're hearing like music, you know,
royalty free music in the background. And but I'm wondering
at that, like Nicolache is standing there, is it just
like you just hear the sounds of the beach and
this just kissing noises. It must be such a gross

(35:54):
like thing to listen to as a crew guy there.
I couldn't stove thinking about that.

Speaker 3 (35:58):
Yeah, it is one of the things with audio.

Speaker 2 (36:02):
I remember talking about this when I was The Bachelor,
because you're miked up all the time, you know, you
go to the bathroom, you forget that you're miked up
after a while, you're kissing the noises like these poor
audio people have just heard the worst of the worst,
Like they mike up all the people at you know,
seven o'clock in the morning. At nine thirty, they're just like,

(36:22):
goodness gracious to turn them off. Nickolas Chay's job here
is so weird.

Speaker 3 (36:30):
He's he's gotta be.

Speaker 2 (36:31):
He's really though, fell into his his groove with Netflix
and all of these odd shows that he hosts, and
he hosts it in such a way that does bring humor,
but also just he feels disconnected. Honestly, he's just one
more body there, full of all these bodies kissing each other.
I think this game gets better Easton if they're gonna

(36:53):
play this game, like why blindfold and why put noise
canceling headphones on? You know who you're kissing, Let's really
make it awkward and make them look at each other, like,
let's make them recognize what's about to happen. I feel
like these blindfolds and noise canceling headphones are really just
an excuse to make this feel like it's acceptable.

Speaker 3 (37:15):
Yes, I agree, I don't know if it works.

Speaker 2 (37:21):
You're rating people of you know, I questioned the couples
that didn't rate their partner super high. But again we
go back to our love for Ady and Ali and
they give each other amazing scores. Eighty gave Ali a ten.
How sweet and cute is that?

Speaker 4 (37:39):
I love it. There's a point in this challenge where
Freddy reveals that he eats thirteen boiled eggs every morning
and a tomato a baker's dozen eggs every morning, and
I can't remember why he said that it was like like,

(38:02):
look how good I am with my lips or yeah,
I don't. I wrote that down. I was like he
eat thirteen boiled eggs every morning. I don't remember what
the context was, but we get to learn that about Freddy. Oh,
they thought it was a food challenge at first, before
they start the challenge. That's why he brings that up.
And and also just you know, before we move too

(38:24):
far on from the the blindfold. I was just thinking,
like if I was doing this challenge, I keep putting
myself in these situations.

Speaker 3 (38:29):
I think we all did have to.

Speaker 4 (38:31):
I was like, they'd be we'd all be lined up
in a row, ready to like do the kissing, and
I'd be on my hands and knees trying to find
like where I'm supposed to stand stepping off the platform
or something. Ye like, it would just be sad.

Speaker 2 (38:44):
I'd be Freddy pecking. He has an amazing scene of
just pecking people he can't find their lips.

Speaker 4 (38:50):
He kisses like a bird. Yeah, there's there's I don't
get how people don't know they're kissing Alie that that's something.
And I like Lucy gave all the A ten and
I see that, and Daniel gets all mad that, like
he's like, how do you not know it was him?

Speaker 3 (39:08):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (39:08):
And I have to agree, And that's why I like,
I don't want to think that like there's any producer
manipulation here, But I'm like, how could part of this
not be cooked a little bit? You know, like it's
just such a weird competition.

Speaker 3 (39:19):
Yeah, you know who you're kissing? Yea if. But at
the same time, kind of.

Speaker 2 (39:23):
Like Clayton was saying last time he was on the
show last you know, last episode, it there is gameplay,
but there's also not. I think a lot of these
people are just kind of winging it and having fun
and they're not really thinking, oh, I should give my
partner the highest score because I'll win it and.

Speaker 3 (39:39):
Then we get to go to the boardroom.

Speaker 2 (39:40):
I think a lot of them are still just like
having fun and being funny and doing crazy stuff.

Speaker 3 (39:45):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (39:45):
I mean we see it with Louie. Obviously you would
know if you're kissing Louie or Clayton. But Sandy gives
Clayton a ten not and Louie gets mad and you
know that that wasn't Louie. So you're giving somebody a
ten who you know is not your part, and that's
foreshadowing for the future, but it happens the the episode

(40:07):
kind of ends. After this competition. The winners are Sandy
and Clayton. They will be going to the boardroom. They
do have now the power and control, and Clayton and
Sandy have a campfire date starting episode four. Now he
just coupled up with Rachel. We want to see where

(40:30):
the Rachel Clayton thing is going to go. But because
of the competition and the rules of the game, he
is on this date with Sandy.

Speaker 4 (40:37):
Thoughts, I thought that was fun to put two people
that weren't matched up on a day, like the winners
of the competition, like make them go on a date.
That was kind of fun and some man wasn't expecting.
But it's just and I don't know what the timeline
actually is here. They make it seem like it's like overnight,
you know, and I like to think that it is.

(40:57):
But it's just crazy to me that he was so
hot on Rachel that night and then immediately not it
feels or like already climbing out of the pool. He's like, uh,
I'm open, you know, I'm open to exploring this with
someone else, and it's just like, oh my, it keeps
talking about my intuition. I wrote, like I was trying

(41:19):
to down I'm like I again, I'm sorry, Clayton. You
are a friend of the Almost Famous podcast. We like you,
we enjoy you, but my god, you suck here my intuition.
Oh come on, give me a break man. Also, I
meant to bring this up last time I was on.
The rooms are so messy. Their rooms are like disgusting.
I'm sorry. I know they're small, I know they're like busy.

(41:42):
It's just crazy, like it's just like suitcases with underwear
spilling out. There's all the hair, progress just towels everywhere.
It feels like it feels like a you're on spring
break or something with like college freshmen.

Speaker 2 (41:52):
These are adults. I think that's a good note. He
is a fair note is these are adults. And if
no matter where, I would expect Dalton adults to clean
their room like I just do.

Speaker 4 (42:03):
Yeah, especially when you know there's cameras in there. I mean,
come on, man. Uh so yeah, Clayton. Clayton is ready
to uh to to get out of this match with
Rachel already and uh I mean, at this point, is
he like, is he trying to hook up with Sandy?
Is that is that what he or No, He's he's

(42:25):
excited to see who's a potential for him in the boardroom.
That's that's what He's already looking to the next thing.
And is that like, do you think that's Clayton wanting
to stick around or is that Clayton like changing his
mind like he did as the Bachelor. What's happening here?

Speaker 2 (42:41):
It's I think it is the moment, honestly, Easton. So
the uproar for from the fan base is loud against Clayton.
Uh this, I think we could confidently say that Clayton's
time on The Perfect Match did not help his image
and did not bring him fan support like he maybe
wanted it too or desired it too. And I would

(43:05):
think that out of everything else, I think the fan
base would have been okay with them going their separate ways,
especially if the two of them sat down and talked
and like, hey, this isn't working, but I'm glad we
were here another week and you met somebody and I've
met somebody, so let's continue on in different paths.

Speaker 3 (43:20):
And it's been great.

Speaker 2 (43:21):
I think this is the moment, the really the catalyst
of this episode happened so early in the episode where
he shows us that he is almost and playing Rachel
again again, And I think this hurts. I think it's weird.

(43:45):
I don't know how he thought this was a good
idea or why he decided to do it, especially if
he went on the perfect match to show that he
has grown as a person and that he believes everything
happens for a reason, all these things.

Speaker 3 (43:58):
It is the moment.

Speaker 2 (43:59):
That we see that I said, what is he doing?
He knows it's just gonna hurt Rachel, especially with the
the excitement that she showed to maybe rekindling with something
with him.

Speaker 4 (44:14):
Yes, yeah, I'm just like And I know he's talked
a bit about like, oh that the editing didn't show
me in a great light or so, and I'm like,
how is like this is beyond Like I don't understand
how you can edit this to make it look different
than what it was here. Uh, it's I'm just like,
what is going on with this guy?

Speaker 5 (44:35):
What?

Speaker 4 (44:36):
Like it's just it's cruel to Rachel's It breaks my heart,
you know, I personally just I I was such a
big fan of Rachel. It kills me to see her
in pain like this. I'm like, oh my god, he's
doing this again. This is just so insane. Clayton, Damn.

Speaker 3 (44:55):
It's rough. It's a rough, It's so rough. It's tough
for him.

Speaker 2 (44:59):
There's no really excuses at this point to why he's
making the decisions he's making. When you have somebody that
you care about, that you have a history with, I think,
if anything, you can go on this date, but you
owe her a conversation before you make any drastic statements
or any changes to your relationship. But he didn't. Back

(45:32):
of the house during this date, Easton, we see some
couples get very upset about the kissing challenge. Shockingly, the
kissing challenge cause controversy in the house with some couples,
especially Daniel and Lucy. We get a little bit of
a glimpse into some people's mindsets during the kissing challenge,

(45:54):
but it hurt people. Shows me two things Easton, love
to hear what you think. One is, you know, a
few days into this experience, people do care about somebody.
There's some couples that I think are really invested into
each other. Some couples that have really grown and are saying, hey,
I don't want to see you with anybody else. As
a result, I would have loved for you and the

(46:15):
kissing challenge to rate me higher than the other person
that you knew.

Speaker 3 (46:18):
Was not me.

Speaker 2 (46:19):
That would have just been a nice thing to give
me some confidence moving forward. Even if you did think
that kiss was fantastic, I don't want to have to
think about it. It also shows me that the kissing
challenge should just not be a thing if they actually
want couples to form on the beach.

Speaker 4 (46:36):
Wow. Yeah, I mean, I agree with you. It's so
hard for me to think about, like, because every relationship
I have been in, no matter how short lived, that
did take months and months of like emotional investment on
both parts, usually on the other person. But so it's

(46:57):
hard for me to understand that these people are so
connected after just a few days. And I know this
is like I know everyone we've talked to, it has
been on the show, on the Bachelor, Like it's just
the nature of how you have no other distractions, all
you're doing is thinking about your connection with these people.
So I get it, but it's just like it is
kind of I don't know it's just it's so interesting

(47:20):
to me that like, it's just it feels like such
a deeply emotional connection and decision to have to make
the kissing challenge is really just a minefield. I mean, damn,
Like when Daniel Lucy have this conversation. I mean, Daniel's
in the shower and Lucy is like, she's like, oh no,
I'm like, oh, Shu'll wait for him to get out

(47:41):
of the shower. Maybe we'll get to see some towel action. No, no, no,
she wants to talk about this right now. She is
not going to wait. He hit the water's running over him,
he's putting the he's putting the garnei frue tiss on,
and she's having this conversation with him. It's and I
feel bad for her, but also like, you know what,
there's a way to do this kiss game to save

(48:01):
the feelings of your partner. But also, I mean it's hard,
you like, can you identify everybody? I don't know, It's
it's tough. It's just it sets everybody up to fail.
I agree, I don't like the kissing challenge. You should
get it, Nicholas Schey, get that challenge out of here.

Speaker 2 (48:16):
Yeah, it's hurting. It's hurting people. I don't like it.
It's making me feel something for them. Sandy and Clayton
returned from their date back to the house. Sandy and
Louie obviously are gonna have to talk. Did this date
go great?

Speaker 3 (48:29):
Did it not?

Speaker 2 (48:31):
I don't think anybody is too shocked that Sandy and
Clayton did not have this magical connection. I think Louie is, though,
frustrated because he is on this date with Sandy because
of the rating system of this kissing challenge. Goodness gracious,
I didn't even realize it until now. It feels like
this kissing challenge is lasting us a lot longer than

(48:54):
I wanted to. Yeah, Rachel and Clayton at this point reconnect.
Louis and Sandy are gonna be fine. They're gonna work through. Yes,
they're gonna make this thing work. But it's the Rachel
and Clayton relationship that I think now everybody's on the
edge of their seats to hear what is going to happen,

(49:15):
because his intuition knows that it's not going to work
out between them, and he doesn't want to hurt her
even though he's going to uh and it's just, you know,
the nature of how this thing has all been set
up Easton, I gotta get because I mean, I'm biased
and we're both biased. We love Rachel, She's been a

(49:35):
great friend of the podcast. Clayton just came on to
help us co host here. I just have a hard
time justifying any of his behavior here in any way,
shape or form. He It just to me feels like
such a game, place like moved by him to keep
her around, knowing it was gonna ultimately really hurt her.

Speaker 4 (50:00):
Yes, I agree. I mean, even if you look at
this so coldly, just like a I am here playing
a game. I am playing a board game that means
I get to stay on vacation into Loom longer and
be on TV. It's still just like it is baffling
to me, and I just don't see how you can

(50:21):
have how you can act that way with such disregard
to the feelings of the other person. It's it's it's
it's insane because, like I, he could have just not
they could have just existed together. You know, she could
have come in be like, oh hey, we're both from
the same franchise, like you know, and fist bump each
other and then this kind of continued on. But he

(50:44):
initiated this whole reunion thing only to kill it twenty
four hours later. It's it's so crazy. I feel so
bad for her. She is clearly so hurt by this.
But you know, hey, Clinton's intuition said this is what
he has to do, so hey, my hands are tied.

Speaker 3 (51:01):
You know, he needs to check that a little bit.

Speaker 2 (51:03):
His intuition that I don't think it's working out for
him because either by a brilliant joke of the show
or just really bad unfortunate luck from Clayton. He decides
to go to the board room to hopefully set himself
up on a new date because his intuition told him

(51:24):
this was going to be the best decision for both
he and Rachel.

Speaker 3 (51:28):
The brilliant joke, I think here, and I do.

Speaker 2 (51:31):
I feel like the show has honestly kind of poked
fun at him and the Bachelor throughout. Really, I mean,
I think the Bachelor is I don't know how they
view it necessarily, but there's been these jokes in these
like one liners that have definitely poked fun at the Bachelor.
I also feel like Clayton has kind of gotten poked
fun at a few times here. I mean, I'm thinking

(51:52):
about that challenge where his head was in the water
when they were floating and pulling and getting cards and
he was too big for the raft.

Speaker 3 (51:59):
He's a big dude, and he seemed to do it.

Speaker 2 (52:01):
Just find it feels like they almost took a board
out of Clayton's raft so that he would sink.

Speaker 3 (52:08):
The boardroom has four men as choices for this upcoming week.

Speaker 2 (52:14):
Clayton is shocked and not able to put himself on
a date unless he is also going to be interested
in somebody that has not been what he's traditionally interested in.

Speaker 3 (52:25):
The couple of things that stand out here, Jr.

Speaker 2 (52:28):
Is on this he's from the ultimatum. He did a
trial marriage with Sandy, which I have never used that
phrase before marriage.

Speaker 3 (52:38):
I don't know what that is.

Speaker 4 (52:40):
Yeah, like is this something? Is this like another game?
Like it's that's so weird? How did that work?

Speaker 3 (52:46):
Oh?

Speaker 4 (52:46):
God?

Speaker 2 (52:48):
I mean, what are we doing? Like really Easton, Like
where are we taking society? That His description on here
is he did a trial marriage with Sandy and they
didn't work out for them. They do know each other well,
so Clayton decides to put his own interests aside, even
though he's probably gonna go on match now officially at

(53:09):
the end of this episode, we don't know that for certain,
we don't know how this plays out, but he matches
Rachel and Scott. I think he gives her another chance
at a perfect match by putting her on a date
with Scott. We see him lead leave the boardroom and
Sandy has set a D and Jay are up her

(53:32):
former husband. Is that what I'm calling him, Sandy.

Speaker 3 (53:37):
Husband fleeing? I don't know.

Speaker 2 (53:39):
She sets a D and j R Up on a
date pottery class. I mean, good move for Clayton. I
do think out of all this craziness here, we do
have to give him some credit that he recognized that
he was leaving Rachel on her own lonely island, and
that he gave her a shot at a potential partner.

Speaker 3 (54:00):
I do think that.

Speaker 2 (54:01):
Was a in the midst of all this, it's a
chapter closing of him doing something good.

Speaker 4 (54:05):
Yeah, a tiny sliver of redemption. I was really really
hoping when he saw the four guys on the in
the border room. I was really hoping to be like, hey, well,
you know, I came here to try new things and
be my real self. So I'm gonna set myself up
with Jalen. Yeah, I was going for that.

Speaker 3 (54:25):
Oh my gosh, Oh that would be amazing.

Speaker 4 (54:28):
Which, by the way, when they do the like introductions,
we get to meet these four new guys, a couple
guys from Love Island and Jalen from Too Hot to Handle.
They animate him looking like a demon. He leans his
head back and they give him red eyes and horns.
I was like, what the on earth?

Speaker 3 (54:45):
I just don't know enough about these people to even
like understand.

Speaker 4 (54:49):
Is that an in joke or something?

Speaker 3 (54:50):
I don't know.

Speaker 4 (54:50):
I don't know. Now I'm afraid of him, Like I'm
literally afraid of Jalen when he shows up there. Yeah,
but Jaron's a another cute date. I'm really enjoying the
these like crafty dates are setting people up on It's
the pottery date is very cute, and uh JR Is
coming in like a my guilty pleasure stealing girls from

(55:14):
their guys. I was like, oh damn. But then it's
a really sweet moment. They have so much in common.
They've got like they both have an insane amount of
brothers and sisters, like seven. Uh and uh, they're you know,
they both have like what three brothers and two sisters
or something like that they have they're both scorpios. I mean,
you can't deny that.

Speaker 3 (55:33):
I you know what a couple of things.

Speaker 2 (55:36):
I don't know how they get these people to say
the things they did like that, Carrington says, I'm a
a self aware douchebag.

Speaker 3 (55:44):
Through like love bombs girls.

Speaker 2 (55:46):
This guy's going my biggest pleasure is stealing girls from
their guys.

Speaker 3 (55:50):
Like I just where are they finding these people east In?

Speaker 4 (55:54):
What are they people doing?

Speaker 2 (55:55):
And also, I'm with you in the midst of all
this wild and eaziness that is the perfect match and
guys talking about stealing girls and all of these things.

Speaker 3 (56:06):
The producers are brilliant.

Speaker 2 (56:09):
Because there's all this wild things happening and then they
put them up on the most wholesome dates of all time.

Speaker 4 (56:17):
It's so funny, like there would be a challenge where
it's like, Okay, here's you're gonna lick each other's buttholes
and see if you can identify your partner. And then
then the next one is we're going on a picnic,
like what.

Speaker 3 (56:30):
Ye come pick flowers?

Speaker 4 (56:33):
Yeah, you know, we're picking wild flowers. I'm doing flower ranging.

Speaker 3 (56:37):
Oh it's so ridiculous.

Speaker 6 (56:39):
There's nothing about this that doesn't it's just all crazy,
Like it's a it's a mental roller coaster watching this,
because as soon as you also start to invest into
some person like eighty and Ali, she goes on a
date and as you said, it is cute.

Speaker 2 (56:56):
Rachel seems to be really into Scott. He has a
dark sense of humor. They have a nice little date together.
He is trouble, she thinks and feels. But I think
at this point she's into it because I feel like
Rachel's kind of saying screw it. Like I tried to
go the safe route. I tried to do the thing
that made the most sense. It felt like I'm just

(57:17):
gonna enjoy my time here.

Speaker 4 (57:20):
Yeah. Yeah, they get along great. I did think it
was funny that Rachel didn't remember his name halfway through
the date, because there's times during the show where I'm like,
oh God, who's that person again? So that's a nice
analog for the audience there. But I just want to
see I want Rachel to have a good time. I
just want her to be happy and have fun and

(57:41):
be treated with respective and kindness. That's all I'm asking for,
and she has Scott seem like they get along great.
Something I wanted to point out that goes on back
at the Villa that I really enjoyed was we get
introduced to the concept of Louis logic, where Louis logic

(58:02):
and he says the editing is so great because he says,
I'm a smart individual and then immediate cut too, I've
gotten back with my ex five different times, like five times.
My god, they can Clayton seem like a saint over here. Yeah,
So how they get these people say these things is awesome.

(58:24):
I'm loving it. I hope we get more Louis logic
as the show goes on. I want to know what
else goes on that man's in that man's mind.

Speaker 3 (58:30):
Yes, Eastern great call out on the Louis logic. I'm
loving it. Man.

Speaker 2 (58:34):
That's why I'm saying I love this show because I
don't fit in and I feel like I just soak
up all the craziness and try to understand what exactly
is happening.

Speaker 3 (58:47):
There's a lot to be left desired. At the end
of this episode, we have a lot of questions on
our mind. One is Sandy's nervous to bring or to
see Jr. Again, But she's the one that brought him
into the house.

Speaker 2 (58:58):
Yeah, So the question is did she just not want
to set herself up on a date because that would
be a little too forward and to let him come
into the house they can rekindle something, maybe like Rachel
and Clayton tried to. Rachel does seem to be beaming
with happiness and joy as she enters back into the house.

Speaker 3 (59:16):
In Ady and Jr.

Speaker 2 (59:18):
Return to break all of our hearts. They're holding hands Easton.

Speaker 4 (59:24):
So sad to see that. I know this is how
the game works, This is perfect match. We are not
in a fairy tale. We are in nick Lache's twisted mind.

Speaker 2 (59:35):
And I hope nicko Lache is making all of this.

Speaker 3 (59:40):
That would be fantastic to me.

Speaker 4 (59:43):
He's up in his ivory tower down there in tou loom,
moving his little pieces around the board for his own amusement.
But it made me so sad because I really I
had such high hopes for Ad and Alie and I
could see them going all the way. I really could.
I was like, will they be the one couple? Will
they be like Hannah, Hannah g and Dylan. Will they

(01:00:03):
just like link up at the beginning and then make
it all the way? Will they get married and have children?
Is that what's gonna happen? I don't think so. We're
in danger here. I would be very sad.

Speaker 3 (01:00:13):
I'll be upset if you.

Speaker 2 (01:00:16):
Find me during episode five, well yeah five with tears,
feeling like I just got played by love. It's because
eighty and Ali didn't work. I'm hoping that they find
a way to come back together again Easton. As always,
it is such a pleasure breaking down the Perfect Match
