Speaker 1 (00:00):
This is the almost famous podcast with I Heart Radio. Everybody,
Bob Guiny and Trista Sutter here almost famous the o
G s looking adorable as always, trist I love your
little stock and cap. Is this what they do these days?
They do this. That's what the kids they do. That's
what the kids the Heart Radio. Oh that's true, like

(00:22):
a side down well no, not an upside down heart heart. Yeah,
they like frame their face. So yeah, that's me for
the people who can't see us, but are just saying that.
Everybody wasn't so pale. I love where are you right now?
This is our basement, so we uh, I love it.
I love the wine seller. It's one of those notch

(00:44):
outs in the basement that Brad appreciate this being aficionado
of Yes, I mean, I know he does some home
renovation stuff too, I know that. But yeah, very excited
about our guests day, Brad Womack. It happened to really
genuinely like this guy, Um, one of a few, are
one of the only actually the only uh two time bachelor,

(01:05):
the only guy to go through that process more than Yeah,
that's not true. Well Nick was never the bachelor. It
was only the bachelor once he was just Nick Vile,
was on The Bachelorette. Then he came as a like
a late add to another season The Bachelotte, Then he
was on Bachelor. Pat the dude was on every show
that they have, but he was only a Bachelor one time. Yeah,

(01:29):
so Brad is the only one that's ever actually been
through the gauntlet as the main man more than once.
Pretty crazy, crazy, excited to talk to him, Excited to
show him what the other side of being the Bachelor
is because I have a sick wife today and my
baby is walking around here. Yeah, so we're gonna have

(01:51):
We're gonna have a guest appearance by Blake at any
given moment here. But it looks like Brad's coming in now,
you guys. I'm just gonna tell you. I saw a
picture of Brad and Harrison on Instagram this past week.
Brad's got the beard, the beard of madness. He looks amazing.
The beard of madness. Why do you call it a

(02:12):
beard of madness? Hey, guys, there he is. Look at
this guy. I have to say thank you so much
for even asking me to be on this, especially from
you too. You guys were always my favorite. I'm not
just saying that exactly. Talk about it later. Time for
hard right now. It's so good to see you about

(02:35):
it really is. To man, we were just talking about
before you joined as how genuinely you've always been one
of my very favorite people that have ever been on
this show, and then to go through the gauntlet and
do it twice makes you I mean, you are in
your own category. And my friend, I know that no
one's ever done. We've had people that been on like
you know, obviously Batchel Atte then Bachelor, but never anyone

(02:57):
who's been the lead twice. So it's just mind blowing
that you were able to get through it. You know what,
I don't know if that makes me a glutton for
punishment or um, you know, I truly do believe in
the process. I'm not just saying that, you know what
I mean, And so, um, we've all heard I'm here
for the right reasons a million times, right, We've all
heard that, So I wanted you to say that. But

(03:19):
I truly am a romantic and and um, I think
you can meet somebody no matter what the circumstances, and
what better way to do it, right, So think people
and had a great time so failed miserably twice. But
still I've done that twice with marriage and it didn't
stop me from going for a third time work out. Hey, Brad,

(03:48):
so obviously you were you know, maybe unsuccessful as the
word on The Bachelor. But are you dating now? Like,
have you have you met someone? And are you dating
anyone currently? I am and and things are good, you know.
Um uh, you know we're taking it slow, of course,
you know, and you kind of have to. It's funny that, uh,

(04:09):
you know, in spite of what I did in the past,
I'm really a private guy. And and I don't know
why I'm even bringing that up. It's just she and
I would take it really slow and I wouldn't have
it any other way. And um, so yeah, things are
really good in that department. Um. I don't know if
there's a marriage in the future, you know, I have

(04:31):
no idea, but h but I'm not opposed to it
and looking forward to see him with the future holds,
you know. So I just answer your question. I'm happy.
That's great, thank you. And I think that's something about
you man, you know. Uh, I heard you saying something.
Trust me. I don't want to come and do anything
but that you had seen that Chris and I eat dinner. Well,

(04:54):
both of you came up and over dinner of course,
and um, I want to say to both of you guys,
are all is really good to me? Bob, I remember
when I first met you, and then Trista, you and
Ryan both, Um, we're really good to me. And by
the way, I hope he's doing well. Um, I've heard
some of somebody's having some health issues. But the guy
of course will persevere. Um, he's just such a good guy.

(05:15):
But anyway, thank you both, so um. Yeah, and seeing Chris,
of course, I love the guy to death. So it's
just us from the past. I was in Vegas and
and uh not too long ago, and and your name
came up brat well of course just as did as well.
But Brad yours came up to as someone who you know,
people can think what they want about. Oh he went

(05:37):
on this season and he walked away with no one.
But that takes more courage, honestly, because people don't understand
the pressure that's on you. You know, oh you know
you you need to propose, you need to propose. And
I mean I got so much grief just for giving
a promise ring, right. I mean not everyone's always gonna
be like Trista and Ryan, which are the gold standard obviously,
And I mean that sincerely. You know, I do trist

(05:58):
it and but it's like one of those things where
you were you were courageous enough to be like, you
know what, man, let the chips fall where they may.
I didn't find my person, I'm walking away. I mean
that is like, I mean, I'm telling you from an
intimate conversation that I had with Harrison when I was
on the show, and that that came up as an option, right,

(06:18):
And I remember saying, I was like, I don't know
how I feel, you know whatever, and he was like,
well you can. You gotta at least date one of them, right,
I'm like, okay, yeah, I'll do that. So then when
I go to I think, I think I'm doing this
great thing by dating him, and then you get so
much grief for that. It's like, oh my god, you
know you you were just like courageous and that takes
a lot of a lot of gumption, especially back then
where the show was because now a little weird, you know,

(06:40):
twists and turns are common right back then at all,
you know, I really appreciate you saying that, and and
one thing I'll say, and especially speaking with someone that
shares perspective, right, because both of you guys know um
the drill, so to speak. But man, I give you
my word. The only thing I was thinking is about
out Jenny and Diana. They were both and I've really, sincere,

(07:03):
sincerely mean this, such good women that I just didn't
want to lead them on. And um, I didn't know
what was going to happen in the future. But I
think all three of us knew that there wasn't a
future for either one of us. I'm going in that direction.
And I didn't want to sell out, of course, and
I didn't want to lead anyone on. And but you're right, man,
I got beat up. I got beat to a pope

(07:25):
and you got beat up, right, You were villainized, like villainized,
And I was like, why is this happening? He is
such a good guy that I feel the same way
that Bob does. I feel like it is so courageous
to to kind of And were you the first one? Yeah,
you were the first one. Maybe has anyone done it

(07:48):
since Bob? Has anyone not chosen? I don't want to.
I think everyone's at least try to date or something
like that. I don't think. I think Brad was the
only one that was just like, you know what, I
don't I gotta go. Yeah, I mean major, major, and
that is honesty. Isn't that what people want in a relationship.
Don't you want honesty? I don't want to be with someone.

(08:10):
I wouldn't want to be with someone like if I
had been on your show and I was Indiana or
Jenny's shoes, if if I was them, I would not
have wanted someone to just pick me just because I
would want someone to pick me because they wanted me
and they saw a future. So I would much rather
have you have broken my heart in that moment, like

(08:31):
kind of like how Alex did to me on the
first season. I was like, if you don't want me,
then I'm sad, Like I'm sad that this is over,
but I'm okay, like I think I said, I'm sad,
but I'll be fine, you know, because I knew that
I didn't want to be with someone who didn't want me.
So anyway, yeah, okay, thank you very much. Especially like

(08:52):
I said, coming from both of you guys, it means
a lot, and and you know, um, still to this day,
I think so highly of both be on End and Jenny.
And trust me, we all know, and I've made this
joke before, but I did them both the favor. I mean,
they're doing much better than they don't want. And so
you know, concepts always twitty twitty, and so Jenny and Diana,

(09:15):
you're very welcome. I don't know what of them, you know, uh,
you know when I was taping the second time, I
was on um, I have and you know, when when
adults move on and people get married, I think there's
a respect factor there. Yeah. Um, I know they're both

(09:37):
very happy. And I gotta tell you, even with Emily,
who I think the absolute world of the second and
I mean this the second I heard that she was
happily engaged or married, but we stopped communication. I mean
there's I sent you one message saying, hey, I'm genuinely
happy for you. I really am. And and then you
you kind of respect the other significant other he that

(10:00):
um she's with and and you don't want to cross boundaries,
right and so um yeah, so I don't. I don't.
I don't get into that territory at all. I'm just
happy for how things are played out, of course, I
think especially when it's been especially when it's when we
have not especially, but in particularly when it's been a
public relationship, right like you always have to, you know.
I was that way with the Stellar. When I found

(10:22):
out a Stellar engaged, I texted her, I said, hey,
I'm so happy for you, congratulations, And then I was
just sort of like, you know, and we've we've kept
in contact over the years because she is she and
my mom are like Facebook friends, you know, and so
it's always been one of those types of things. But
I was, I was so happy for her. But looks
like Brad, I remember saying at my season, I remember
saying at a road ceremony, I'm like, believe me, ladies,

(10:42):
none of you want this is no prize, this is
I love it. I love it. I love it. But
but you are of course you are. You know, we
were all made for somebody, right and and and you
know and interested to your point too. I do want
to say one thing that, whether people believe this or not,

(11:02):
I was as heartbroken as both Chinny and Diana too
walking away. I really was. I was accused of being
almost emotionless and down right cold, and and I can
promise you know, um, I have nothing to gain by
saying this now, but um that's just not who I am.
And um but anyway, Bob, yeah, I share that sense
of humor that hey, look man, I guarantee every anniversary

(11:23):
those two ladies are hugging their man even tighter and like,
look who I could have been with no kidding, no, no.
I think I've often said it that anything I've ever
been at about you, in particularly Brad, when whenever, you know,
whenever you would come up and people be like, you know,
what did you think about that? And I would always say,

(11:44):
I'm like, I'm like, think what you want about the
guy I'm like, which which I will be honest. Usually
it was always very favorable, very nice about YouTube. I
know how that feels, though, because I mean, when you
feel like you're the villain, you're just like, oh my god.
But I I would always say them, I'm like, meet
him for five minutes, and if you can walk away
after five minutes and think the guy, that guy has
no heart, no emotion, and like, trust me quite thank

(12:08):
you very much, and again, thank you. I really appreciate it,
specially coming from someone that can share the perspective. It's
a it's an ordeal. That show is an ordeal. And
you're kind of wrong through the ringer, right, and I
see violent trists. I mean, you are the bachelor and
the bachelor at I mean, and I say again, I
say that favorably, right, and so but you get it.

(12:30):
You know you're so um not used and abused, but
you you go through some emotional turmoil, right, and I'm
kind of ready for a breather. So anyway, thank you, Bob,
because I do care what people think of me, and um,
you know anyway, and and things are things are better now,
thank god, they better over twelve years at twelve years

(12:55):
for you when you were the first time was two
thousand seven, second time was two dolls and ten. So
we're going on a long time. Man. That makes me
geriatric in this world. I have something to say about geriatrics. Okay,

(13:19):
So we always joke the we're the dinosaurs, you know. Whatever.
Your birthday I just saw because we have you know,
we have producers who do a little like work beforehand,
and they got us some some research. Your birthday is
November tenth, seventy two. Mine is October seventy two. So

(13:40):
I turned fifty like two weeks before you. You guys
are let me tell you. Let me tell you something
because you and I say this as respect wave its
can be. You look amazing right back at you, Thank
you and still here, still sorry. See see what happens

(14:04):
when a pretty girl comes to you know. But Chris,
I'll tell you this, and I hope you're the same way.
I feel better at fifty than I ever have in
my life. Hey, and I truly think you know, you know,
there's a level of confidence you gain, there's a level
of security and um, you know, you just realized life
is really good, you know, And obviously you and Ryan

(14:26):
are so happy and and so anyway, happy belated birthday.
You look amazing. Thank you? And if I catch it,
did you do anything fun for your fiftieth or do
you have any plans this year to do anything fun?
I do, and I'll tell you this, I'm very happy
to say. Um. So I couldn't travel on my birthday
there were some things going on here in Austin. But

(14:47):
December seven, I'm heading out to Maui and I'm gonna
spend some time out there just to kind of decompress,
you know. I Um, I'm a real big believer and
taking some time to yourself, believe it or not. And
and you're gonna wonder, I'm actually going on this trip
solo just to kind of hike and buy Yeah, I know,
I know, I don't trust me. Know there's not troublesome corridge.

(15:10):
Holy cow. I don't think I could do that because
I feel like I'm a whip like I feel like
I would be scared all the time. I can kids,
I could do it next week, I can. You know what?
I would love it if you joined me, buddy, and
so fun amazing. I don't think I wanted anyone to
have to push me in the wheelchair around the island,

(15:34):
you know. But but yeah, no, So that's the big
kind of culmination of a really good year, fifty years
on the planet and kind of just you know, decompressed
a little bit. How about you? How do you celebrate?
Did you do something big or so? Ryan? Um? I
was begging Ryan, and my daughter especially knew that I
wanted a surprise party. I wanted one forever, and I

(15:57):
feel like it's just so intimidating to plan a surprise party,
especially because you know, I have a lot of friends
from here and there and everywhere, and for Ryan to
like not to actually invite all the people that that
should be invited, I think was probably intimidating for him.
So he ended up doing it. He pulled it off,
but he had He had a surprise party for me

(16:20):
with so many friends. Actually, somebody that you guys both know,
I think, um Hailey Platt and I don't know. Her
maiden name was Curtendon. She was on Bob, you know her.
I love her. What what season was she on? I
can't remember Crittenden. Sorry, yes, yes, that's poscitely right. But

(16:43):
her married name is Platt now anyway, so it doesn't matter.
Um have been a producer by the time Brad came along,
because didn't she work on the shop producer? I thought
you might be right, Um anyway, So she flew in town.
My parents came in. I hadn't seen my dad and
my stepmom in a year. Um. They all surprised me

(17:04):
and it was it was awesome. So I'm gonna teach
you got lost of mail, Brad. But it's okay, Yeah, yeah,
you see what I'm saying. Bob. Ryan had the list
and I feel bad, like he he has all these
people that he has to remember, and he's like, I
just don't know how I would never about something like that,

(17:26):
believe me. Wait, well, Bob, it sounds like we have
to learn from Ryan still. I mean, the guy is good.
He is really good. I still vividly remember your season,
trist and the guy is just good. And and so
you tell that man, job well done and he's doing right.
You guys to be so happy so long. I love it.
I love I love it. I love seeing it too.

(17:47):
It really, it really is something. It's enviable. You know,
it's one of those things you see somebody getting it right,
especially as we know Brad, you know, coming through the
show from the relationship standpoint, you gotta do it different
to survive. And Tristan Ryan were the first ones to
do it different. Everybody else sort of including myself, went
down this other path, which was, oh, yeah, I guess

(18:08):
we just do everything that we're supposed to do. And
you know that wasn't in Ryan's DNA, and it was okay,
and Tristan was okay with it, you know, just I
was like, I got this, you know, it was okay.
You know, well, it's actually much more authentic obviously, and
and you know, um and that pays off and so um.
But Bob, you're happiest could be now too, huh. I

(18:28):
hear that life is really good on your end. You know,
it's definitely fun, thank you. I mean, wait, till I
was forty eight to have two kids, that's pretty smart.
So I you know, I'm fifty one now, guys, and
you know, yes, yeah, ninety one is my dad. Buddy.
I want to drink the water you're drinking. So I'm

(18:50):
telling this is all unfairly. I love this. I love
it and and so keep going, buddy, keep going, George,
I got you know, I got two uh two little dudes,
three and a half and one, and it's pretty awesome.
You know. I will say I didn't much like you, Brad.
I mean, you know, after the show and everything, I
got married, divorce, I was kind of like, I really like,

(19:10):
you know, I'm single. I'm okay, it's good. And then
met somebody and thought, wow, maybe I do want a family.
Maybe I do war of those things and the chips
just sort of fell in place, and you know, it's interesting.
I will say this at at our age having really
young children there. I mean I always make the joke
that a tea ball games are like your grandpa is
so SWEETE comes to every game, and I got a walker. Yeah,

(19:36):
but I mean it's gonna be but uh, it's a
different perspective though, you know, I see all the young
parents running around and and and I just sort of
like hanging back, and you know, it's just a different mindset.
You know, my kid falls down, I'm like, oops, he'll
be all right. So you just have more wisdom to
give to them, you know. And and and so dude,

(19:57):
you know, I've always I've always believed there's no set
schedule in life, right, and so you're doing that, You're
doing everything that, uh to make you happy, and it
shows on your face. I mean it just shown. And
so you said drinking the water, there's no water in
this body whatsoever. It's actually it's wine. I see the
wine behind you actually exactly like that is a sweet wine.

(20:22):
It's amazing, you know, I saw. I mean, let's say
I moved to New York, I lived in l A.
I lived in Seattle. It's amazing what buying and selling
houses in those market get you back home in Michigan. Well,
I'm happy before I tell you it's funny because I'm
literally sitting in one of our bars right now and
it's well. Not the only reason I'm saying that is

(20:43):
you have a better wine selection than I do. I mean,
as all this is over, I'm gonna detect you, like, hey, man,
what do I need to order? You know, I'm like,
I'm like, I have a feeling that Brad's gonna like
this because I know you You've done some home renovation stuff.
I mean, you've done it jack of all trades, I
know that. But you know I visited one of your

(21:04):
bars at one time. I was down there in Austin
and it was just so cool. Man, Well, thank you.
At least tell us about him. Tell us about him.
So what are what bars do you own? Or restaurants? Um? So,
we have the one main one is called the Dogwood.
We uh, we currently have four of those. We have
awesome justin Austin. No. Two in Austin, one in Houston,

(21:24):
one in Nashville, which I'm really excited. Yeah. In fact,
I actually moved to Nashville in two thousand nineteen whenever
we were building the bar, and um, I gotta tell you,
it's a close contender for me. Austin will always be home.
But but Nashville I love absolutely. You know something, Um,
there's a huge and I mean huge bachelor presence in Nashville. Um,

(21:50):
A lot of old participants are there. Um, A lot
of them running the same circle. So there was some
familiarity there, right, Um, and it's just such an up
and coming city. Uh So anyway, who I don't know,
but you know, um, Sean Booth has a booth camp there,

(22:11):
so he has a facility there. Um yeah, yeah, yeah,
I mean he's right there. Um, A couple of uh
old participants and now, of course their names are escaping me,
but you know, you just see them in different circles.
Wait a minute, you look familiar. Okay, now I know

(22:32):
and so but but yes, I spent a lot of
time there and and uh and I think I'm we
have a couple of venues in Houston anyway. Yeah, just
like everybody, I'm working hard and having fun doing it
and still working with my twin brother Chad and one
other guy, Jason Carrier, and we're having the time of
our lives, you know, lives good. The Chad have the
beer too, and no, his wife doesn't want him looking

(22:56):
homeless and so so yeah no no no yeah so
uh yeah no no no, no, his wife is uh.
I love her to death. And even my little niece,
his daughter, Both of them give me so much grief
for they're like, what are you doing? Are you coming
to ask us for spare change? Are you here to

(23:17):
eat dinner? I don't know what you're doing. You know
I can do something like that. Man. Yeah, well yeah,
so no no no, no beard on Chad so uh
he's much more clean cut. But anyway, so I have
to ask, since Chad has a wife and kids, does

(23:37):
that make does that make you want to have kids? Like?
How are you how do you feel about having a
family some days? That still something that you would like to, um,
you know, include in your life? Or are you good
just having nieces? You know? Okay, that's a great question.
And and I have a little one little nephew as well. Um,

(23:59):
but anyway, that's a question. You know, Um, I am
very open to it, no doubt about it. And and
you know, again, like I said earlier, even though I'm fifty,
I feel I truely feel like I'm twenty five. I
really do and and so, um, I really don't feel
that top that pressure of time that tied the clock ticking. Um,
long story short, Yeah, absolutely I'm open for it. You know. Um,

(24:23):
you know, I think life would be pretty empty and
another ten fifteen years if I'm in some cabinet Colorado
all alone, but even a longer beard, you know, like
Ted Kazinski writing letters and becoming the chi like so

(24:44):
but no, you know, I tend to joke around the
light and I apologize, but no, just to answer the question,
you know, Um, you know, I take something like that
very seriously. And and as far as fatherhood and and um, yes, yeah,
absolutely I'm open for it. And there have been discussions.
I'm not gonna lie in positive discussions about it, and

(25:05):
so we'll see what happens. And uh, god knows, I
can't hide it if I do have a child. I mean,
but news is out there everywhere, right, even though I'm
a dinosaur. It's like you guys know everything everything, Yeah,
anybody anymore? So I know, you know, Bob, It's funny
because I think I'm literally the only person that's never

(25:26):
been on social media, right, I've never been on so
never trist that promise never even in my space, and
yes I'm dating myself, but you've never never been on anything.
It's so wow, even for so wait, do you have
people who do it for the for the bars? Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
we dove. But but I give you what I mean.
I never even peruse Instagram or anything. It's just I'm

(25:48):
blissfully oblivious to right, that's what that means that people
are really criticized with me. I never know, so good.
But the reason bringing that up is, uh, I guess
Chris had posted something after we ate dinner or the
other night, because I received so many texts like how
are these people know? Oh yeah people, just a few,

(26:15):
a couple of people, but anyway, yeah, so but it
would say it was so good to see that guy,
of course. But yeah, back to your question, Um, who
knows what the future holds? And um, possibly that'll be
a loving family and and I wouldn't have it any
other way. If that's If that happens, that amazing, Man's amazing.

(26:43):
I will tell you it's uh, it's exactly what you
wanted to be at our age. I can't say that, like,
you know, did you get to a point and I
was I was scared. I was like, oh my god,
I'm starting so late. You know, it's awesome. I mean
I really don't even know what the hell I want
to be doing with myself without him. I mean I
really don't like I think about what are you doing
right now? You know? Absolutely? YEA life is all about

(27:07):
the kiddos. So, um, what was I going to say?
I had a question, and see, this is what happens
when you have children, your brain does. Will you remind
me how many children you guys have? We have a
boy and a girl. Um, fifteen year old Max and
thirteen year old Blake's late Max is actually like it

(27:29):
has a driver's permit is five eight. Like, yeah, it's
a little crazy. My daughter is outgrowing my shoes. She's
taller than me. It's it's nuts. But but I tell
you a funny story. So Trista and Ryan come to
Tahoe and they bring Max. Okay, I mean it caught

(27:49):
me so off guard. Tristan, I'm sure you don't have
to stay. And she goes, oh, Max, honey, hi, I
want you to meet my ex boyfriend Bob. And I'm like,
so we are going down that road. Yeah, we're doing
this we're really doing. Let's cracking off and Max it's
just like, hey, you could care less. And I was like, well,

(28:12):
well she's not lying, you know. Honestly, it's funny and
it caught me off guard. Trust the honest guy. I
don't even know if I told you. I laughed so
hard about that. Oh my god, no doubt. They're amazing kids,
you know, I mean, always know they're teenagers. Yeah, okay,

(28:36):
So I know what the question was. So if things
don't work out with your current girlfriend, and I'm not
saying that, I'm not you know, saying that they shouldn't
or whatever. I want you to be happy, but would
you ever consider being the Bachelor for the third time?
Oh no, no, the first let me go. Yeah, no, no,

(28:58):
no no. And I appreciate the question first of all,
that would never ask me. I mean, I don't expiration
date is maybe ten years ago, fifteen years ago. But
another thing, you know, Um, it's so funny and and
quite ironic. But I'm really a private guy, you know,
And and um, I'm beginning to get some anonymity back

(29:19):
and I love it. I love it, you know, and
and so um, and not that I have anything the
hottest just um, I really like kind of flying under
the radar hints to no social media and stuff. And
so when you open up that that that I guess
book or whatever, another chapter, man, you're exposed and and
you know, let's face it, after another ten years, I

(29:41):
have even more skeletons. I think. I think that, uh,
the court of public opinion would not only crucify me.
I mean, they would just trample on my grave. I think,
you know what, It's true, like people are kind of
cruel now, like they feel like they can say whatever
want and there's no consequences because of social media. So

(30:04):
I think it would be really hard, you know, thinking
about it. Would I do it again? If it was
now and other people had done it, I would have
to say yes, because I did find my happy ending.
But in regard like it would it would Actually people
have asked if I would have my kids go on it,
and I can't be a hypocrite and say, well, no

(30:27):
because times have changed. But so I would say you can,
because that's how I met your dad. But in that
same breath, you have to be really careful because people
are not nice. I mean I couldn't handle it. I
can say honestly, there's no way because curiosity kills a

(30:50):
cat for me, you know, Like I would be like,
oh oh yeah, someone on this thing, Hi, Yeah, thank
you for watching, and then I'd be like, you know,
you pee, So I'll be like, oh my god, yeah, yeah,
I couldn't handle it. Well. That also, though, means, um,
you're such a nice guy, you know. Um, you know,
people can say all the time they don't care what
other people think, but something tells me you do. And

(31:11):
I'm saying that, you know, yeah, and interested you as well,
and so um, you know, yeah, I found a way,
like I said, to kind of blissfully hide my head
in the sand, and you can't do that these days.
And um, so I think it's a prerequisite to have
quote unquote followers if you go on that show. I
don't even know. I really don't know that. I think

(31:32):
I think that now for sure for sure. Yeah yeah, yeah,
So I might have one follower, my twin brother. And
that's it. Yeah, there's two, there's there's three. Now I'm
becoming an influence. Who is that? Uh? Yeah, this is

(31:57):
Blake a Blake. You are a hands from young man. Hi,
I'll tell you what those uh those little pjs look comfy.
How you doing, Blake, Yeah, he's the whole family sick today,
so they're they're all laying around the house and here
we are still working. You know. That's all I gotta
tell you, man, And I mean this genuinely. I'd love

(32:18):
to meet your family and uh you know in triest
to your kids too. Again, have such great parents respective respectively,
and so well, I mean it, we need to come
to Austin, we do. We need to just plan a
trip or Nashville now that you have a bar there.
Like I was just thinking I'm going to Dallas, I

(32:39):
think with Blakeslee for a dance competition, but you're not
anywhere close. So yeah, well my home is always yours,
I mean, you know, and yeah, I'd love to host
you guys and and really start some some social media fodder.
If we all were jumping around, maybe they are going
to be like you two together and you know, did

(33:00):
me and people are like what is going on? You know,
let's just really rock this reunion. We need to have
an O G reunion of like from a certain day,
like invite all the leads and their families, like, let's
do it. It's so fun, Firestone and um, Aaron Bergie,

(33:23):
who else and Andrew in the past? I mean, and
we gotta do it, you guys, I need to be
so much fun. Let me tell you something you guys
mentioned Andrew. I have a cool story about him before
I had any connection to The Bachelor at all, any whatsoever.
H he had been on the on the show, excuse me,
and he came into one of our barns and Austin,

(33:46):
and I want to say this for his credit, to
his credit, the guy, um, he wasn't getting bothered too much,
but but enough. And the guy to us, the staff
and everyone around him was his hands down, the most respectful,
approachable guy and and just friendly all the way around.

(34:08):
And and you know in a bar setting it's hard
to show respect, you know, but the guy just uh,
I guess what I'm trying to say, just carried himself
so well and and uh I remember that still to
this day. You know it just uh, he's just he
carries himself really well. I'd like to meet you formally,
meet him, But I mean he's always been He's always

(34:31):
just been that guy. People always say that, you know,
what is what is he like? You know, he's the
best salt. Yeah, Chris said the same exact thing, and
Chris thinks that's so highly of him. And you know,
I always get the real scoop from Chris and I
love it, you know, and I will air dirty laundry.
But but I know if I was part of the

(34:53):
dirty laundry because I have texted him I don't know,
two or three times and he has not responded to me.
So I'm like, thing wrong. No, Look, I don't think
you can do any wrong. I'm not kidding a kid. Yeah,
I love you, but well I'm telling you I doubt it.

(35:13):
But no, not at all. He speaks very highly of Okay, Okay,
well good. Maybe I just got lost in translation or
I don't know technology. You'd never know. I'll re touch
him today and be like, okay, so Brad told me
that I'm not on your list, Well you're not. I

(35:34):
can I can promise you. Okay, that makes me feel better. Okay, good,
Well I think yes, thank you, thank you, thank you
for coming out of anonymity and allowing us to put
your name back out there. Well, i'll tell you when
when when you two invited? Um, you can't say no
to you guys, I'm going to reiterate this. I'll let

(35:56):
you go, but you guys truly your hands down two
of my favorite people. And and um, well I don't
even really know you that well and and so I
couldn't refuse and and it's it's truly an honor and
so and again, you guys look way too good for
being fifty. I'm not even getting into but thank you
so much. And uh, I hope I didn't bore you. Guys.

(36:16):
It's just really good to talk on my face the
whole time. So you can success for everything you're doing
grabbing and nobody deserves it more and keep us posting
how that Mawi trip goes. I actually I'm gonna I'm
gonna get you. I'm gonna give you my number because
I want I want to make sure that I get
it to you somehow. So I'll get your number from
the producer and text you after the show a number

(36:39):
for you. For some reason, I haven't neother I texted
it and it came back that it wasn't even an
invalid number, So well, okay, yeah, so I must have
written it down wrong years ago something. I don't know
what I did, But thank you so much for coming
on with us body and thanks for being an o G.
You give us all a good name on the set
again he did the last time. He did this. Last
time he's pulling Amazon. I love it. Such a pleasure.

(37:09):
Thank you bye. Such a great dude, right, such a
good dude he did. He got his he got his
butt kicked back in the day. I remember, I know,
and honestly I always felt like, well, yeah, he didn't
get engaged. But seriously, people like, what did he do
wrong other than being honest with you? Like that he

(37:33):
was honest with them, and yes there was heartbreak, but
like he said, his heart was broken too that he
didn't find someone that he wanted to walk, you know,
walk away with enough to come back and do it again, right,
I mean enough to come back and do it again,
which I can say honestly that I don't think after
going through it, like when you go through it, um,
like when when I went through the first season the

(37:54):
Bachelorette with you, it's such a different experience that you're like, yeah,
I would love to do this us again. Right then
you do it as the bachelor or for you from
the Bachelor to the Bachelrette. When you do it as
a lead, right, I was stuck in my hands a
lot because he's a tat. But to go through it
as the lead and know the pressure that you feel,
especially to come at the end where you feel like

(38:16):
you've disappointed everyone, which Brad was going then come back
and give himself a chance to do it again. And
I mean, yeah, I just I just I just think
to him, I know, I know, props to him. I'm
so glad he came on today. I really did have
a smile the whole time. He's just so nice. He's
such a nice, genuinely nice guy. You're absolutely right, genuinely

(38:38):
nice guy. Um, all right, Well, give give your whole
family a big hug, and I hope they feel bad.
I will make sure they're feeling better soon. We'll get
him nice and hydrated. That's right, by Bye bye,
