It's the stars of the Scrubbing In Podcast. They are
rock stars in their own way, their award winning, their friends,
and they're also with us all weekend in the mountains
of Colorado, mayor in Meredith, Colorado for Dean and Kailin's
wedding and yes, they're here to talk about all the dirty.

Speaker 3 (00:24):
Details of the wedding.

Speaker 2 (00:26):
Tanya and Becca, Welcome to the Almost Famous Podcast.

Speaker 4 (00:29):
WHOA thank you for bull cheer ourselves.

Speaker 5 (00:35):
Guys. I'm so jealous that you get to record together
in that studio.

Speaker 4 (00:38):
It's so fun. Like, if y'all are here, this would
be an absolute perfect scenario.

Speaker 1 (00:43):
Yeah, we are big in the in person phase of life.
We like we like refuse guests to be on Zoom.

Speaker 4 (00:51):
I like that.

Speaker 5 (00:52):
I mean, if you have the luxury, go for it.

Speaker 6 (00:55):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (00:55):
Yeah, but it feels like Patrick Dempsey or something. We'll
take them over.

Speaker 2 (01:00):
I hears something funny before you get started. I don't
know how I got on it, but like maybe three
days ago, I was scrolling through Instagram. There's a picture
of Patrick Dempsey on there, and I started looking at
pictures because of his fashion, Like I'm trying to get
into this, like I want to be a little more fashionable,
not a lot, but I just want to start wearing

(01:20):
clothes that like feel like almost forty year old.

Speaker 5 (01:24):
And but you're not still on the other side of thirty.

Speaker 4 (01:27):
Oh wait, yeah, you're younger than me.

Speaker 6 (01:29):
I'm like, wait, yeah, I feel like you are kind
of fashionable.

Speaker 5 (01:32):
Yeah, look at the way you killed it this weekend.
That's our first question. And I was talking about fashion.
I think that's what inspired you, is it not?

Speaker 2 (01:38):
Yeah, it might be Anyways, that dude is good looking,
Like that dude is really attractive, Like there is not
a picture on his social media doing whatever that you're
not like that is a good looking fella.

Speaker 4 (01:50):
I know he's just aging, Like fine, fine wine.

Speaker 5 (01:54):
Is he hotter now than he was? Or is it
just like impressive that he was able to like stay
so hot.

Speaker 4 (01:59):
So I I thought that that he was hotter than
he was, But then you watched the whole episodes and
you're like, ash, never mind, I saw this whole montage
of him from like different years.

Speaker 5 (02:10):
Did you post that or did we just have the
same exact algorithms?

Speaker 4 (02:14):
That makes sense. We have the same algorithms. That makes
very much sense to me. But yeah, I did see
some like around two thousand and I think like seventeen
where I was like, oh, yeah it was that was
a good time for him too.

Speaker 2 (02:27):
His hairline, he just got good hair anyway, So we're
not here to talk about that. We're here to talk
about other good hairlines.

Speaker 3 (02:31):
Which is deep.

Speaker 6 (02:32):
You can talk about Patrick depcs.

Speaker 5 (02:34):
A great hairline.

Speaker 3 (02:35):
Don't like that.

Speaker 5 (02:36):
Dean's hair is going to be there forever.

Speaker 2 (02:38):
Yeah, yeah, Deani's looking good. Okay, let's kick it off
with this the fashion of the weekend. We can start
now explaining the themes and kind of what Caitlin's vision
for this wedding was. I'm gonna set the stage for
what the weekend was though. We went to Meredith, Colorado,
which is a very small town. In fact, it's that
doesn't even have a town as a general store. It

(02:59):
is about an hour away from Basalt, Colorado, which is
where Dean grew up. This lodge that we went to
was made into a camp. They called it camp Bell
because their new last name is Bell. So all of
their guests, most of their guests were invited to stay
on property, which meant no cell phone service. All of

(03:19):
us were eating in the same place. We were living
in cabins kind of around this main cabin felt very
similar to summer camp and I would say, what, there
was sixty five or so people there on property and
the first day that we arrived, Kalin has planned camp games.
So they really wanted all their friends to meet each

(03:41):
other and enjoy some type of activity together. So they
planned camp games which included like water balloon tossces on
three legged races, tugawar, flip cup just a game do
you remember as a kid.

Speaker 5 (04:01):
Right, flip cup? Total kid game.

Speaker 3 (04:05):
Yeah, well up with water with water so you could
have played it at any ag. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (04:12):
I think Beca and myself were the two out of
this group that were there for the camp.

Speaker 5 (04:17):
Games, right, because Sonya and I wrote together.

Speaker 2 (04:19):
Yeah, because you guys came in a little later in
the day that day. Becca, I've always known you to
be competitive. Yeah, there was a side of myself that
came out during these games that I told myself, please
don't let it come out, like, don't show them that
you're crazy, and it still did.

Speaker 4 (04:37):
Wow, I didn't see that for me, I missed it.

Speaker 2 (04:41):
It was it was mostly when cheating started to happen.
I'm not a fan of cheating. Who cheated I there
there was not to name names, but there was somebody
who was also a part of the wedding. Whose team
uh during the the race where you spun around on
a baseball bat and then dizzy bat and ran to

(05:03):
the other side, that did not spend five times, they
spend spend less than five times.

Speaker 4 (05:10):
Was that your wife?

Speaker 3 (05:12):
It might have been. She did win. She's fast though.

Speaker 2 (05:20):
Beca the camp games, I really did though, think you know,
these teams were all mixed, they're random draws. It really
did help us get to know some of the people
that are a part of Kailan and Dean's life, who
were not a part of bache Nation or that we've
known before.

Speaker 3 (05:34):
Right.

Speaker 4 (05:34):
Yeah, I also get so competitive, But I told myself
the same thing. I'm like, you know what, these all
these people don't know me, so they don't know that
this is coming from a good place. It's just a
dark part of me, but like it's from a good place.
And so when I got my team and I saw
we were mostly all women, we had the least amount
of people because Robbie was supposed to be on our

(05:56):
team and he didn't, so.

Speaker 6 (05:58):
He would have been a good.

Speaker 4 (06:00):
Yeah, well he wasn't there. So it was like we
had the least amount of people and then all girls
except for two guys I think on our team. Where
some of the teams were all men like muscles.

Speaker 2 (06:11):
Mine mine, My team was all men. We had one
girl and she was pregnant, so she sat out of everything.
She didn't do one event, so okay, so we can
go into that again. This was just a setup. There
was one really amazing piece of games that I want
to talk to back about. You did win one event.
Your team did win one event? Right, Were you on
Haley's team?

Speaker 4 (06:32):
No? No, their team won.

Speaker 3 (06:35):
Oh they won the whole thing.

Speaker 2 (06:36):
Okay, Well, Haley plays flip cup, and I didn't know
this about her, but she is very competitive obviously, because
as soon as that left cup that she flipped hit
the table and she saw that she won, there was
an inner scream that came out of her that I've
never seen.

Speaker 3 (06:55):
It felt so good. It felt like it was.

Speaker 2 (06:57):
Like like her sap, like her savages are like her her.

Speaker 3 (07:01):
She connected with nature and all of a sudden she
became a bear.

Speaker 4 (07:06):
It was asceral.

Speaker 3 (07:07):
It was visceral is the word I'm looking for?

Speaker 4 (07:10):
Yes, she So it was like a joke the whole
time because she won, and like her reaction. I was
talking to Debbie off to the side, and I looked
over and realized she won, and Hailey's like looking up
to the sky, like shaking her hands like she had
just won. She said she compared it to winning the
World Series. That directly from her and I was like,

(07:30):
oh wow, Like I didn't know that would mean so much,
did she? Like I never got chosen to play like
flip Cup or anything, and I won for my team.
So it was like a huge moment. It was deep rooted,
So it felt it felt lighthearted on the on the top,
but like it was a deep rooted reaction that came out.
But she was on cloud nine from that moment the

(07:52):
whole weekend.

Speaker 2 (07:53):
I really think it set a vibe for the whole games. Then,
like her reaction, I think spurred all of us to go,
this can be really fun, Like let's all get into
it a little bit more. Let's all take this a
little more seriously, because I want to have a reaction
like she just had. Yeah, because that was crazy like
that was like that, it was visceral, like something came
out in that moment.

Speaker 3 (08:12):
It was like, let's go. Then her team won the
whole thing. Yeah, it was great.

Speaker 2 (08:18):
We'll flash forward then because the games ended, and then
we go into the evening, which I know we all
have very strong like we have a lot of opinions
on and about the fashion. The theme for that evening's party,
the reception or the rehearsal dinner was Mountain Chic. All
pass it off there because obviously the you all prepared
differently than I did.

Speaker 5 (08:39):
No, okay, we all are like, I guess we'll throw
this in our shoit case because it like might be
the only thing in my closet that's bal cheek. And
you were the one that's like, I have a full
on get up that I've been waiting my whole life
to wear.

Speaker 3 (08:56):
I felt very at home.

Speaker 5 (08:58):
You really good too, Like you just think you presented
yourself like you were in your most confident attire.

Speaker 3 (09:06):
Yeah, I felt good. I think that matters.

Speaker 2 (09:10):
Jessica said, I look good, which is obviously also it matters. Okay,
so let me ask you this then, if you didn't
when you heard Mountain Chic or when you saw mountain
chic on the invite. You you know two of you
live in la Actually you live in Rhode Island. I
live in Colorado. So this that isn't like an abnormal
attire for me. If I was going on a fancy date,

(09:30):
like I traditionally don't throw on a cowboy heyp, but
I wear a lot of cowboy boots with jeans. That's
a good look, and I can wear.

Speaker 5 (09:38):
Them with seeing you in cowboy boots. But I'm sure
it looks good and I don't deny that you wear
them there.

Speaker 2 (09:43):
Yeah, well, I mean I don't like wear them to
iheartfest exactly what I'm pulling out. But if I'm out here,
that's not like abnormal for me. So for you all,
where did your mind go?

Speaker 4 (09:56):
Go? Ahead? Tonya?

Speaker 1 (09:57):
My mind went to panic because if you could describe
the opposite of my style, I feel like it would
be mountain cheek. So I was like, what does one wear?
I needed inspiration boards. I'd never owned a pair of
cowboy boots. I didn't even know where to buy cowboy boots.
So I went a little panicky, but.

Speaker 6 (10:16):
Got it done. I feel like you crushed it. Thank you,
So much.

Speaker 5 (10:19):
Yeah, so I dropped Ason off in Virginia for my
parents to take care of him, and I was like,
I remember that in maybe the back of my closet
here I would have my first pair of cowboy boots
that I got fifteen years ago when Taylor Swift used
to wear the sun dresses and the cowboy boots and
I found them and there you go, pair it with

(10:41):
a dress.

Speaker 3 (10:42):
Wow.

Speaker 4 (10:43):
I love that you keep everything.

Speaker 6 (10:45):
Yeah, I.

Speaker 2 (10:48):
Love that your mom keeps everything for you. My bedroom
was cleaned out the second I moved out.

Speaker 5 (10:54):
Yeah, I still have my I still have my room.
It's fully I have.

Speaker 3 (10:58):
It's in office. It's not even a better wait.

Speaker 4 (11:02):
Actually, yours is still just how you left it.

Speaker 5 (11:04):
Yeah, I mean, yeah, so it was perfectly mine when
it's still one hundred percent of mine. But like my
mom redid it when I was in grad school, just
so it looks like more like an adult room because
beforehand there was it wasn't all instinct posters like the
pin ups, but like it was still like adult posters.
So like I'd have like my American Idol posters and

(11:26):
I like like Jonas posters and stuff, and they were
all like very adult like like they were all framed, guys,
They're all everything on the wall was framed. But it
was still like montage, like you know montage, that's not
the word, like claged. It looked like a gallery wall
of jonahs of posters and such.

Speaker 3 (11:45):
So then I was like half those posters.

Speaker 2 (11:47):
So when Jared stays over with his want full of
I don't and seeing boys and.

Speaker 3 (11:54):
Yeah frame posters.

Speaker 5 (11:56):
Yeah, but they're like we're tokenbo.

Speaker 4 (12:00):
Used to kiss her Backtory boys, I had a wet
like hole for me, I see so secretive about those kisses.

Speaker 5 (12:09):
I'd like make sure that there was no little like
kiss marks.

Speaker 1 (12:13):
I like actually told Kevin Richardson that I would do
that to his poster and he's like now married with children,
So you know, I.

Speaker 5 (12:19):
Really for like thirty years too, that man I got
married back in the day. Also love that you were
Kevin girl because you just screamed Kevin girl.

Speaker 6 (12:29):
I know I was a Kevin girl.

Speaker 1 (12:30):
And actually, you know, I thought it would be weird
telling us like married man with children that, but like
all the backstory boys really rallied around it because I
feel like not a lot of people gave Kevin a
lot of love and so like.

Speaker 5 (12:40):
You're the mature one, because now as adults, we all
see that Kevin was the hottest back then back and maybe.

Speaker 6 (12:45):
Still ahead of my time.

Speaker 2 (12:57):
The only thing in this podcast that I've got nervous
for is when boy bands are going to be brought
up and we go on a complete tangent away from
the subject.

Speaker 5 (13:03):
Well, that's like when he talks about nature to me,
you know, it's like, yeah, Nature's beautiful.

Speaker 4 (13:07):
It's like he loves you know, we can bring this
back to games game looking like he could be in
a boy band.

Speaker 5 (13:15):
Yeah, there we go, meet in the middle. So what
did Dean look like? Ben?

Speaker 3 (13:20):
He looked like a young Leonardo DiCaprio.

Speaker 5 (13:22):
To me, which everybody's always said for life, but he
doesn't get enough credit for it.

Speaker 2 (13:26):
Well, but I think Dean goes through phases right where
he lets his hair grow out and he pulls it
straight back and then he kind of like doesn't you know,
really care? But prepping for this wedding, and we talked
about with Kaitlin and Dean, he hiked all these fourteen
years he did. He was able to accomplish all fifty
eight of them. He got in really good shape for
the wedding, and then on wedding day he cut his

(13:48):
hair and he cut his hair and it was that
dude's a good looking, good looking guy, and I think
his haircut just you know, really helped him stand out.
We have a lot of wedding details to get into.
Let's go back to the reception just for a second.

Speaker 5 (14:02):
I have something. I have something fun.

Speaker 4 (14:06):
Ben.

Speaker 5 (14:06):
You don't even know that you're sitting around with three
girls who definitely all had like secretive crushes on Dean
back you know, on you know, we all like we
the three of us always been friends. We all had
crushes and never told each other.

Speaker 3 (14:18):
Not shocking, Oh, you never told each other no.

Speaker 5 (14:21):
Because it was like we were all in direct competition.

Speaker 3 (14:23):
We were all.

Speaker 5 (14:25):
For it. Actually it was all not secretive to him,
but he played it like we were his best gal pals.

Speaker 4 (14:33):
Yeah, we were all the best friends.

Speaker 2 (14:37):
I mean, it's not shocking. I just remember Tanya actually
like pursuing it.

Speaker 3 (14:42):
Right.

Speaker 1 (14:42):
There was like a moment, remember no, oh you were
Becca was out and he guest hosted the podcast with me,
and he was like pulling my leg and he's like,
why wouldn't you ever go out with me? And I
was like we're so opposite, like we would never work,
and he's like, just give me a shot. So he
went on on a date and I was like, wait,
maybe I could like Dan.

Speaker 6 (14:58):
I think I do like Dean. And it was like
very short lived, maybe like a week and a half.

Speaker 2 (15:02):
But I remember this period of life. I remember because
it became a thing. It became way more than a
thing than it ever should have come back to me now.

Speaker 6 (15:11):
Yeah, because it was a iHeart festival.

Speaker 4 (15:13):
Oh my gosh, I will never forget it, that iHeart Festival.

Speaker 5 (15:17):
I feel like we all like shared him as like
we're like, oh, we're his date now, and like every
like an hour later, it was like, oh, no, Becca
is his date now?

Speaker 4 (15:25):
No I was never because well the one we're talking
about I was with Haley at the time. Yeah, this
is after my crush, after her crush talking to you.

Speaker 5 (15:34):
Guys the exact same time I got with Jared. So
we line in the story yeah did you really a
couple of months after? I think yeah, like three months later.

Speaker 6 (15:42):
So your crushes on Dean were earlier than mine.

Speaker 5 (15:45):
We're like fresh off the show right after Rachel season.

Speaker 3 (15:49):
Yeah. Yeah, I'm glad.

Speaker 2 (15:51):
I'm glad that was brought up, because I do remember
the iHeart Festival where this became a.

Speaker 3 (15:56):
We don't have to go to the details.

Speaker 2 (15:57):
I just remember being like I have like this is
this is more wild than I know how to process.

Speaker 5 (16:03):
I think Peter Krauss was there too, and we were like,
screw you, Peter. We're like Dean's. We were like, he's
our golden retriever boy.

Speaker 3 (16:11):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (16:12):
So to come back then to what this wedding is.
The interesting point here is Tanya, who we obviously have
always loved and known for years now, has never been
on a bachelor esque show. Right, She's been surrounded by
a bunch of people who've done this crazy show and
we became friends through it. But what we're talking about

(16:34):
now is something that gets really weird when you're in
a bachelor nation, that you can have crushes on people
that also are your friends that end up getting married
and you're invited to the wedding and then you're like, yeah,
that works out, Like we're all good, Like this isn't
weird no more, Like we're all of us here on
committed relationships and we're all pretty happy about it.

Speaker 3 (16:50):
But like, yeah, at one point in time. I really thought,
you know, you and I had something.

Speaker 1 (16:54):
Yeah, it was actually funny. I brought my fiancee to
the wedding and I told I feel like at some
point I told him that I had a crush on
Dean and he was like, I could not see you
with Dean.

Speaker 6 (17:04):
I was like, yeah, I know, but we all had
a crush on him, you know.

Speaker 4 (17:08):
Yeah. It is a lot of cross cross contamination and
uh sure the Bachelor world, but it feels very normalized
when you're yea. Tanya was very Bachelor adjacent, so she's
always just been.

Speaker 5 (17:21):
A girl that wasn't on the show. But we all
feel like she could have been, and if you really wanted.

Speaker 4 (17:25):
To have been, you could have been, and we could
just tell people she was and no one would question.

Speaker 6 (17:30):
It's like a deep cut one season.

Speaker 5 (17:33):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (17:33):
This comes into the next portion of what I want
to talk about with you, because I had to have
a heart to heart with Wells.

Speaker 3 (17:39):
Nobody here knows this yet. Becca. This is about you personally,
so you should get nervous. This is good, This is good.
Uh So, we obviously.

Speaker 5 (17:50):
Crush on Becca obviously, but they never dated because neither
of them knew it and.

Speaker 3 (17:54):
I didn't know that.

Speaker 5 (17:55):
No, I'm totally kidding. I'm just going with a theme here.

Speaker 3 (18:00):
No, no, no, no.

Speaker 2 (18:01):
So we play field games on day one before the
party that evening, and we have a couple hours in between,
and so all of us are kind of going back
to our cabins and we start like pouring some drinks
and we're catching up because a lot of these people
we don't get to see in person very often. And
Beck and Haley are there, and I've met Haley a
few times, I don't know how many, a few times.

(18:23):
Jess and I have always were really excited for this
weekend because we get to be around Haley again. Because
a lot of a lot of you, I do see
more and I know more about your life. I don't
know Haley that well yet, and so I was excited
to be around her. And so going into what we
were just talking about, I'm sitting there and Haley is
standing with Beck and I and somebody else asked the

(18:43):
question like, how do you guys guys all know each other?
And I go, well, Beck and I've made out once
or a couple of times, and I left it at that, like, again,
that's not a weird thing. For me to say or
think about. It's not awkward for me to think that
at one point in my life, like Beck and I
tried to pursue something because we both it's so crazy
to think about it is wild. Well, so this this

(19:04):
kind of gets said, and I do this a lot,
and that it will lead to another question later on
in the show that I want to talk to you
all about because I think it's relatable. So I say it,
don't think much of it. Everybody leaves wells and ires
in this step, and all of a sudden, I have
this massive amount of anxiety that comes over me, and
I'm like, I should not have said that. That was
so inappropriate of me to say in front of Haley.
I never like, I don't think that makes me feel weird,

(19:27):
but I bet it makes her feel weird because she's
not a part of this world. She's not like in
the weird intermingling mix that we've all dated each other
at some point in our life, and that that would
have been like somebody standing there saying that, you know
to Jess, and I probably would have felt a little
weird about it or like had to kind of laugh
it off and be like whatever.

Speaker 3 (19:43):
So I'm talking.

Speaker 2 (19:43):
I talked to Wells about this for forty five minutes,
like why do I do this to myself? Why do
I say the stupidest things and the stupidest scenarios when
I really was excited to see Haley and not like
I never went into seeing her being like, hey, let
me say something that's really gonna like make her mad
at me for the next twenty four hours. And Wells
like talking off of a ledge. But he's also like, yeah,

(20:04):
we all have to remember that, like that, those jokes
that we say in our weird little family, they don't
work for everybody.

Speaker 4 (20:12):
Well, I was telling her like after the fact we
were talking about we were like laughing about all the
crossover of everyone at the wedding.

Speaker 5 (20:23):
Yeah, what does that mean?

Speaker 4 (20:27):
Is this what you.

Speaker 6 (20:29):
What it does?

Speaker 5 (20:31):
He just goes to the bathroom thinks we should just
continue to told this week.

Speaker 4 (20:42):
It's not like we were talking and he got here arrangement.
He just brought it an edible arrangement.

Speaker 5 (20:55):
I almost want to keep this in.

Speaker 1 (20:57):
Yeah, you have to keep I'm sorry that just gets
up mid sentence and just.

Speaker 5 (21:02):
Tell us you want to start telling the story.

Speaker 6 (21:06):
I'm just telling him.

Speaker 2 (21:09):
Then you started that conversation, well, really nice, a really
nice old man just came the door with an edible arrangement.

Speaker 3 (21:16):
I'm like, I can't make this.

Speaker 6 (21:18):
Leave it at the door.

Speaker 3 (21:19):
It's not even for me, it's for my neighbors. Get home.

Speaker 4 (21:22):
I don't know, arrangement won't let you leave it. Someone
else is sign I've gone through this, so it's for
my neighbors.

Speaker 3 (21:29):
He's like, hey, do you know him? Can you drop
it off? I'm like, I kind of know, I don't know.

Speaker 5 (21:32):
Okay, yeah, wait, this is so interesting.

Speaker 4 (21:35):
No. So I was telling Haley, I was like, I know,
it's so it's probably so weird for you because we
all just think of it, like I don't consider you
an ex, Like I just think of you as like
my good friend. We went we had this crazy experience together.
But I'm not like, oh, Ben's my ex and so halu.
But you know, we're going to this thing where your

(21:55):
exers are there, and I'm like, I don't really think
of it as that as much as I think, like,
we went on this show together, we try to make
it work. It didn't work out, but like iru, okay,
but explore it was a monogamous relationship.

Speaker 5 (22:15):
If you had gone on a date in real life,
would have admite it more awkward? No, I don't guys
ever went on a date in real life.

Speaker 4 (22:21):
If she went on two dates, like that's basically what
I did with Ben. I went on two one on
one days. I think, yeah, and then she we went
to an event and that person was there and they
had just made out a couple times. I don't know
that I would be like, I'm uncomfortable, you know. So
I tried to just say it in that way, and
I'm like, I know, it's weird because we talk about
it so casually and like flippantly, So you know, I

(22:46):
think I just when when she's in those situations, I
just have to make sure to be like hey, like
you know, grab her hand or just like let her
know like where it's all good. But I think she was.
I don't think she was ever in a position where
she felt anything where you would need to have anxiety
about it.

Speaker 2 (23:05):
Well, I think my point is by and I guess
we probably all could get a little more careful in
social situations who people with people that probably are not
familiar or comfortable with that because if your partner who
obviously cares about you, All of us has any type
of like not jealousy, but just like it's weird, right,

(23:27):
you don't want to be surrounded by your your partner
who you loves, other people that they've dated in their life.
I guess how I see it. When I see like
all of these people who are part of the show
or that we've had crossover with or we've tried to
pursue dates with, It's like we did that because of this,
like not only attraction of like hey, you're a beautiful person,

(23:49):
but like respect of hey, I think you're somebody that
would be like worth pursuing in my life.

Speaker 3 (23:55):
Or at least figuring out if it works or not.

Speaker 2 (23:57):
And for me, that is a compliment more than anything else, Like, hey,
I like who you are as a person. We are
obviously not going to work out romantically, but I would
hope that Jessica would like come to an event and
see a bunch of people that have dated I mean
like at this some point in their life, Like they
at least thought enough of my like now husband to
like want to pursue him for marriage. Now I didn't

(24:18):
work out for them, but at least they thought highly
of him, Like at least they said yes to a date.

Speaker 5 (24:23):
To play Devil's Advocate. It's the attraction that makes it
awkward though. It's not the respect. It's the fact that,
like they thought they were hot enough to make out
with them.

Speaker 3 (24:32):
Yeah, that could be, and so.

Speaker 5 (24:33):
That probably hasn't changed. They still probably think they're pretty hot.

Speaker 1 (24:36):
Wait, I need to know, Ben, did you come back
from that spiral? So like you said that and then
like went into a corner, talked to walls for an hour,
and then like, how did you come.

Speaker 6 (24:43):
Back from that?

Speaker 2 (24:44):
You know, it's interesting, Okay, so this is the question
I was going to ask coming up. So then I
sit next to Becka and Haley the next morning at breakfast,
and Haley, I think, comes in and mentions that, hey,
she has a lot of social like Becka and Haley,
but I think we're both talking about like after a
lot of social interaction with people for long periods of time,
you can oftentimes wake up the next morning and have

(25:07):
this like uh, you guys put a good word to it, Beca,
but like this like social like anxiety like why did
I say that? Or what did why did I do that?
And that at that at that moment, and so I
was still carrying that. I would say i'd still care today,
but they're the ones that bring it up about there.
They're separate like communications with people, and they explained it
and it made me feel a little bit better because
it's like, Okay, yes, all of us have said something

(25:29):
stupid in the last twelve hours of being around each other,
Like I'm not alone in that, and so maybe we
can just all forgive each other for saying something that
made somebody else feel uncomfortable.

Speaker 4 (25:39):
I woke up this morning and was like did I
In my mind, like I was like, no one likes
me from the weekend, Like I had all of like
mental anxiety situation where I was like did I. I
just was going away. We had a nice single conversation.

Speaker 1 (25:55):
We had it yesterday because we were like making a
joke about like our cabin and sharing a bath room,
like as like a joke and like.

Speaker 4 (26:01):
It's like a bit from the podcast, you know, and I.

Speaker 6 (26:04):
Feel I felt bad.

Speaker 1 (26:04):
I'm like, I hope Caitlin doesn't think that we're like
actually upset about the yeah, because like we're not at all.
And I loved it, but then like I just felt
really bad. I was like I hope she knows that,
like we're totally joking.

Speaker 4 (26:15):
Yeah, So I went through that spiral.

Speaker 2 (26:16):
I got on I got on Today's podcast with Ashley.
I said, hey, do you hate me?

Speaker 3 (26:20):
Like after did I do something?

Speaker 5 (26:22):
She was like, are you still mad at me? And
I was like, wait a second, mad at you?

Speaker 3 (26:26):
About?

Speaker 5 (26:26):
What?

Speaker 2 (26:26):
Did it?

Speaker 5 (26:27):
What?

Speaker 2 (26:27):
I was like, I was just checking in, just like
if you were mad at me, you had free space
to tell me right now because.

Speaker 3 (26:33):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (26:34):
I think we're all super weird. Uh So a bunch
of weirdo show up to the mountains together and here's
here's like how this scenario plays out. We are in cabins,
we are together with no cell phone service. We spend
a lot of time with each other this weekend.

Speaker 3 (26:47):
Yeah it was and.

Speaker 2 (26:49):
For me it was a very sacred experience because I
just don't get to do that with you people like
and we also don't have to do it without cell
phones or other people pulling at your attention or one
of us going to do an interview. There was games,
like a lot of like like chess and card games
and fish bowl.

Speaker 5 (27:09):
Which saw how to play, which is great because I'm
not a game person. But that was a pretty great game.

Speaker 6 (27:15):
Yeah, it's a really great game and we.

Speaker 5 (27:16):
Won our team. You guys, all of us were on
one team absolutely.

Speaker 2 (27:24):
Destroyed, and so there was a lot of that. There
was like you know, communal breakfasts. Obviously, we had the
rehearsal dinner that was absolutely beautiful.

Speaker 3 (27:45):
It was outside. Ashley and I kind of made uh.

Speaker 2 (27:49):
We talked about it on our first show as a
kind of entering into this one that everybody's very nervous
about the cold and very nervous about animals. Now, I
don't think any of us this week saw a bear, right, No, no, no,
are we sad about that?

Speaker 3 (28:04):
Now?

Speaker 5 (28:05):
I would have seen a bear. I would have been cool.
I would have seen a bear.

Speaker 4 (28:08):
Like if I was like in a safe space, I
think that would have been cool. But the biggest animal
that cast fear was Alistair, Dean and Kaylen's dog.

Speaker 5 (28:19):
They removed Alistair's teeth because it has such a biting problem.

Speaker 4 (28:23):
He still made a mark on someone's hand and he
chased me on two feet. He chased me, tried to
pet him and I didn't know. So I go to
pet him and he snaps at me, which I was like,
oh my gosh, and then he starts running after me,
like on his back legs. My bear fear immediately was
replaced by the.

Speaker 1 (28:43):
Only fear that was caused was by Ben because he's
like this alarmist texting us all days before the wedding,
saying like, oh, just make sure that you don't eat
a Snickers bar before the wedding, And I'm like, I
just made my homemade snickers literally last night, and I'm
panicking that a bear is gonna like swallow me.

Speaker 6 (28:58):
I didn't pack perfume because you said.

Speaker 1 (29:00):
This, Like I didn't want to, Like, I didn't want
to have the nice sweets in the cabin to.

Speaker 6 (29:04):
Allure the bears. Like I was so panning.

Speaker 4 (29:06):
They don't like fake snickers, they only like the real thing.

Speaker 5 (29:09):
Yeah, your healthy snickers.

Speaker 4 (29:12):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (29:13):
And I made this half joking but half also being serious.
It was going to be really cold at night.

Speaker 2 (29:19):
And also, please make sure you don't keep your treats
outside your cabin because if you want to see a bear,
just leave something food related outside of your cabin. And
I bet in the morning it's no longer going to
be there. But nobody saw a bear. Nobody had any issues.

Speaker 6 (29:34):
The best part is.

Speaker 1 (29:36):
Haley comes walking into the room on Saturday night and
she was like, you guys, a mouse pooped in my suitcase. Yeah,
so we're all like, great, there's a mouse in our
cabin and it's pooped in Haley's.

Speaker 4 (29:48):
Suitcares poop dropping, she says.

Speaker 1 (29:50):
So I go, let me see these poop droppings. I
waddle on into their room. I'm like, where are they?
She points in the corner of.

Speaker 5 (29:57):
Her superais nuts.

Speaker 6 (29:59):
I get it.

Speaker 1 (30:00):
Kleenex to like investigate because I'm like, I don't believe
that it's rhinestones.

Speaker 4 (30:07):
The whole cabin's mood shifted because we were like, oh my god,
there's a round. Yeah, we're pack and like move around,
and luckily Tanya was brave enough to go in there
and check it out and some rhinestones.

Speaker 6 (30:19):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (30:20):
And to give credit to this whole venue, uh, it
was so nice, like the cabins, the log cabins that
we stayed in, it was beautiful. The main cabin was
absolutely gorgeous. Yeah, a lot of good firetime. Very possible
that mice could get into these cabins. They it was
a very rustic experience. This was like I could tell
personally that this was a wedding plan by Kaelin but

(30:42):
had a lot of influence by Dean and what she
thought he would want for a wedding because it felt
like and in fact, when we were pulling up, Wells
was in the car with me and he's like, this
place feels just like deep, Like it just feels like
deep and it.

Speaker 3 (30:56):
Did I know it?

Speaker 5 (30:58):
It was even pretty aside beyond yeah.

Speaker 4 (31:02):
Yeah, it was like such a beautiful combination of both
of their personalities and styles, Like she made it this
dream wedding in this place that felt comfortable and safe
to him. I feel like it was just like really
it was. I couldn't stop talking about it everyone. I've
told him like that was the coolest thing. And I
was so happy we were all there together. Like we left,
like on the drive to Denver, and we were like

(31:24):
we obviously had so much one with Tanya and Robbie.
We spend a lot of time with them, and we
just like loved hanging out with both of you and
your partners.

Speaker 5 (31:30):
You know. I get so like emotional just thinking about
like how blessed we are to like found these friendships
from the show, because like I don't there are few
groups of people that like I have that we can
like get together as groups and have like that kind
of camaraderie even though we only see each other like
a couple times a year, and it's just so nice.

(31:51):
And I really get mushy about it, like every single
time because I'm so thankful for her because I never
had that like group of friends.

Speaker 4 (32:00):
It's really special to have that as adults and to
be able to like, like, we don't get to see
each other a lot because we all live in different places,
but when we do, it is so special and fun
and like easy to just like z catch back up
and I think, Hailey, I know that Jared. I wasn't
sitting there, but Jared, I guess said something that like
really impacted her about something that she's working on. Yeah,

(32:25):
she sat next to Robbie and he made her cry,
and I was like, it's just cool being surrounded by
these people that, like I love so much and who
have taken her in and like are such an encouragement
to her. It's just it's it was just really special.
Been My favorite video of the weekend is you start

(32:47):
a dance and then I'm gonna post it. Hailey joins
in and it like starts like men, Tanya joins in
and then Debbie joins in. It's like a mini flash mob.

Speaker 6 (32:55):
Yeah, it's really cute.

Speaker 5 (32:57):
I was gonna say, what's nice is that? Like we
were all friends, like I'd want to say, like at
least six years ago, and then well, Jared was obviously
part of this, but then like you three found somebody
else and like your spouses basically I'm just gonna go
significant others basically just like integrated so well, and like

(33:18):
now like we have like a friend grim and used
to like love everyone so much and like everybody just jealous.
It's nice.

Speaker 6 (33:23):
Yeah, it is so nice.

Speaker 1 (33:24):
I felt like that too, Like I was like that,
you know what we we the four of us would
have never shared a cabin, Like if we let's just
say it was like free for all and there was
rooms available, we would we would have gone our own
separate rooms. And I'm like, and I thought it was
so special that we got to like do our makeup
together and like wake up together, Like I felt like
I was in college again and I love that so much.
And like because we didn't have cell service, so we

(33:46):
would just like walk to the main cabin and whoever
was out there doing whatever. We would just like join in,
go on hikes, go fishing, like, and everybody just was
so open and welcoming to everybody.

Speaker 6 (33:56):
It was just like such a nice feeling.

Speaker 4 (33:58):
But how is how does just handle those situations? Because
we were talking about that earlier and she's been in
it a little bit longer and been around it probably
more than even Haley has. But how does she handle
like just the like kind of the weird Bachelor camaradery.

Speaker 2 (34:14):
It's weird for her. Uh, I think it's odd. It's
only been odd a few times when it feels like
the people she meets from the franchise don't accept her
in which does happen? And I feel it even in
some of these Bachelor groups right where you're like it's
very clicky in some levels. I think the people that

(34:37):
obviously she gets excited to see are are people that
when you could assume she gets excited to see, and
then obviously the people that she has been around and
wanted to be around more. And it was also why
when we were going up there, I sent the text
to you know, the group and I said, Jess, it
is really excited to see you guys because we were
talking about it, and like that's a big feeling for
me when she's excited to be around the people from

(35:00):
this franchise. Because the show has very little impact on
our relationship. It does not get talked about, does not
get brought up. She doesn't really watch the show at all,
and so it's just like we don't have to like
to cross that line very often, but when we do,
it feels really good for me to bring that part
of my life into now this new season of my
life and feel like I don't have to leave one

(35:20):
of them behind, Like it feels like they both kind
of grew up together, and you guys have always I
mean I told Tanya, I'm beck I told you this
years ago when she first met you, and she's known
Ashley for longer, but like, you guys are just so
sweet to her that first time at Iheartfest, when it
was her first time having any public appearance ever, like
she's never been like on a red carpet. All of
a sudden, she finds herself an Iheartfest on a red

(35:41):
carpet and she's like, I'm so nervous and like this
isn't like something I'm used to And you guys brought
her in and made her feel very welcome of that,
and I think ever since then, there's a safety there
when it comes to the comments like I made, which
I do think is is just inappropriate and I should
be more careful of those things because I don't think
we can throw around as flippantly as we get older.

(36:04):
I just I don't think she hears it. I don't
think people are saying it to her very often. And
also when she would hear it, she's just like, Yeah,
that was just a weird time in his life. Like
I don't like, there's not like a you know, we
got married for a reason, we're together for a reason.
I think as you're together longer that kind of phase,
you're like, no, he's he's not looking to do that again,
Like he's very you know, like that's it's just a season.

Speaker 5 (36:26):
But Ben, like has has Jess ever had a crush
on Dan?

Speaker 2 (36:33):
I don't know if she would have even known who
he was until we got together, but I bet she
would have.

Speaker 3 (36:37):
Who does it? Just wanted to know.

Speaker 5 (36:41):
She could like be welcomed into this club.

Speaker 2 (36:43):
Yeah, okay, so we are going to go through some Yeah,
so we're gonna go through some details.

Speaker 3 (36:52):
So here's what I'm gonna do.

Speaker 2 (36:53):
I'm gonna lead the headline of like what stood out
from the weekend, you all comment on. It will race
through these pretty quick. Obviously we've already touched on the
rehearsal dinner. That evening, we played games and had a blast.
People stayed up super late. Some people are up till
four am. It was wild. The next day starts out
very slowly for most people. I think it was a
very slow start. This lodge that we said it did

(37:16):
have a cold plunge. I did it for both mornings.
It was the only thing that kept me going that day.
Some of that tivisa all of us did. We went fishing,
caught some salmon, some of our spouses caught some salmon.
Some of our friends caught salmon. As we watched it, right,
Robbie caught a salmon.

Speaker 6 (37:35):
Ye first fish ever, felt so yeah, that's adorable.

Speaker 2 (37:40):
Yeah, So we got to stand out there as he
pulled up, and I mean the dude took it off
the hook. Like a lot of people just are like
weirded out by that. He just grabbed it, took it
off the hook. So let's go, Josh Dunn, who is
married to Debbie Ryan.

Speaker 3 (37:54):
He caught a salmon when we were staying there was
that was.

Speaker 2 (37:57):
A blast, and it was like one of my favorite
times of the whole weekend because it was very peaceful.
We're all just down there casting a line, hanging out.
Then it's time to get ready, obviously for the wedding,
wedding ceremony. I'll just let you guys kind of explain
it with your own words, because I think that was
the next step, right. We all got ready in these cabins.

(38:18):
We all walk out for this wedding about fifty yards
maybe from where we're staying in the middle of the mountains.

Speaker 5 (38:26):
M So you guys can talk about my reaction.

Speaker 6 (38:30):
I should post that video. I got video of Ashley
just a hey.

Speaker 4 (38:36):
It was the most beautiful setup because it was just
like in the trees, the wind was blowing, the sun
was shining. We were all facing the.

Speaker 6 (38:44):
Aisle, which is I've never seen that before.

Speaker 5 (38:46):
I've seen it, Like, I start emotional before anyone walked
on the aisle. I was like, you, guys, I don't know.
I'm sitting here and like looking at these sedunding white
roses and I'm my eyes were welling up and like
my throat was all before there was anyone in part
of the ceremony.

Speaker 1 (39:03):
I've never seen the wedding set like set up like
that where the chairs are all facing towards the aisle.

Speaker 4 (39:09):
I've just seen like Instagram and spow wedding videos.

Speaker 3 (39:12):
But it was.

Speaker 4 (39:15):
And Ashley, you said something because they played yeah, it's
a thing at all, Yeah, And we were taking photos
when we heard it playing, and I was like, oh
my gosh, this song is so beautiful, and then you
posted about it. But it was just the whole thing
was emotional, and then of course the music starts and

(39:37):
it's Lose Yourself by Eminem and that was Dean's walkout song,
which couldn't have been more Dean.

Speaker 5 (39:45):
They didn't have bridal parties. It was just the officiant,
who was Jackson, which was Dean's longtime roommate. I hadn't
seen him since they were like real roommates back in
like our single days, and they apparently all the three
of them lived together during like twenty twenty or twenty
twenty one, and they shared an apartment part time in

(40:06):
la and Jackson's the best and he did like the
greatest personalized ceremony.

Speaker 2 (40:11):
It's perfect, and he has a voice that you'd want
to go to sleep listening to. Oh Dean, O, Kaylyn,
it's very nice.

Speaker 3 (40:30):
Okay, so Kaylin.

Speaker 2 (40:32):
Obviously, I mean it's kind of even feels weird to
speak about it, because I don't think you can put
words to just like one, how beautiful she was all weakened,
and how like accommodating and hospitable she was to her guests.
And it was cool because she was also a part
of field games and also part of every breakfast. And
then all of a sudden she disappears, you know, on
wedding day and comes back just and comes back down

(40:56):
the aisle and I'll let you all take it from there.

Speaker 4 (40:58):
Well, she comes on to kiss me by suspense and
the richer, and it literally felt like I was in
a movie. I felt like I was watching a rom
Calm movie scene like it was perfection.

Speaker 5 (41:10):
She kind of ran down the aisle, she kind of
like skipped.

Speaker 4 (41:14):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (41:14):
I also to have never been to a wedding that
was just like efficient bride groom. It was like so intimate,
like I felt like, yeah, I don't know, I've never
felt that before, Like it just.

Speaker 3 (41:27):
Fowered a very yeah.

Speaker 5 (41:28):
The lack of formality made it even more emotional.

Speaker 2 (41:32):
Yea, yeah, it was like very intimate. Now, yeah, I
did have another awkward bin moment this weekend. There's probably
many that I don't even know happened, so you guys
could probably fill me in all that I've told Ashley
this before. You know, I really loved going to weddings
and I love doing this. I have this thing where
and typically it's set up where everybody's sitting facing you know,

(41:54):
the Bradon groom, and you're not turned sideways, and you're
usually at a pretty a lotiger wedding than what we were.
So I see Kaylen walking down the aisle and I'm like,
my goodness, like it's exactly what I I mean. Like
I said, you can't put words to just how beautiful
Kaylan is and how amazing she's been for Dean and
all of us. But then I always turned to the

(42:15):
groom because I want to see his reaction. So I
do it right, not thinking. I have a big old
cowboy hat on and I'm the only one turned facing Dean.
So you know what Dean does. He gives me a
head nod and a wink as she's like at the aisle,
and then afterwards he's like, yeah, I had to because
it was so awkward.

Speaker 3 (42:28):
Everybody was looking the opposite direction. You're the only one
looking at me. I didn't know what to do.

Speaker 5 (42:32):
You have to look in the groom, though, I think I.

Speaker 3 (42:36):
Just did it quicker than everybody else.

Speaker 5 (42:37):
Okay, I'm always torn. You do have to go back
and forth.

Speaker 4 (42:41):
Yeah, you just stood out because you had your hat on.

Speaker 3 (42:45):
I just have my hat on. It's a very big
wide turn.

Speaker 4 (42:48):
Wait, we have to go back to something because you
mentioned something about Klen how beautiful show it all weekend
and we didn't touch on her rehearsal dinner.

Speaker 5 (42:55):
Look, but it was I can't even talk about it.
I'm like, I'm being silent here about Kaylen's look because
like you just you can't talk about It's just like
she's perfect.

Speaker 4 (43:03):
She's perfect and like sweats so like like no makeup
and sweats. Kaylen's stunning in person, Like I know people
see photos of her like she's so beautiful and has
like the sweetest heart. Her look for the mountains.

Speaker 1 (43:15):
Sheik attire like I've never seen anything like it. It
belongs in Vogue.

Speaker 4 (43:19):
She was she was like parent trap mom when she
puts the hat on the uh, the model in parent
top when.

Speaker 5 (43:27):
Yeah, like the classic that everybody's like kind of like
going for now, like the like the they're trying to
kind of copy that look. But like she did it.
She did she made it way better than the original.

Speaker 4 (43:38):
It's perfect.

Speaker 6 (43:39):
Yeah, she really looked perfect.

Speaker 3 (43:40):
So I just wanted to touch on that you stop
in your tracks, you that's what happens.

Speaker 2 (43:44):
And then obviously together we've all now came to the
conclusion they're a very good looking couple together because Dean
is very good looking and we obviously know Kaylen's beautiful.
The ceremony itself was emotional. Uh it's you know, there
were a lot of tears, but it was informal in
a lot of ways. Also, there wasn't a lot of formality.
There wasn't anybody else really standing up there with them.

(44:07):
You know, we're in the middle of this kind of
like valley in the in the hills and the mountains.
And but when it comes to the vows U, there
is a beauty to just letting you come, like letting
it come from the heart. And I'd told Ashley this
before the wedding started. But Dean and I got to
play golf together last week and I said, hey, man,

(44:28):
how do you feel like emotionally because like for me,
I broke down at my wedding, I did. I didn't
expect too. I didn't plan on it, but you just do.
It's a very weird experience. And he goes, I'm kind
of nervous because I've because he said, I've been practicing
my vows when I hike because I don't listen to music,
I don't listen to podcasts, and I've been hiking so
much that I've been like rehearsing my vows and every
time I do, I start to cry like ball, and

(44:49):
then people walk past me in the mountains and I
get I feel embarrassed and I'm crying, and so like,
I'm nervous I'm going to cry and feel embarrassed about it.
And I was like, well, that's totally different when you're
in your wedding, cry as much as you want. But
then he gets up there and Kaylen gets up there,
and it's time for us to talk about their vows,
and I think it got a lot of us like
at a deep level, why.

Speaker 3 (45:09):
Was that.

Speaker 5 (45:12):
Well the mom part, of course, you know that that
was Dean bringing up his mom was gonna obviously just
really do us in and I you know, it's just
one of those moments where you're not gonna rem really
word for word what they said, but I know that
she got brought up with like him bringing back their
proposal and how like feathers have always been like a

(45:34):
like a sign that his mom's around, and that like
right after he got that on one knee, Kaylyn like
came running to him being like, look, Dean, Dean a feather.

Speaker 4 (45:43):
So I know, I'm like, I can barely listen to
you tell it.

Speaker 2 (45:47):
I know, well the part that got me because I
love Dean greatly, uh And I've got a note like
Dean over the years. And you know, Dean is a
complex individual, as we all are. But Dean is complex
because he's very free spirited, but yet he holds onto
things very tightly and he's very he's a very sensitive human,

(46:07):
but he doesn't show that sensitivity. I think he pushes
it aside very quickly. And we've all known, you know,
if you know Dean, you know this about him. And
he had a line in his vows that I'll never
forget because I've seen it for seven years or six years,
how long I've known it. He goes, you know, for
seventeen years of my life since my mom's past, I've
had no purpose. I lost my purpose when she passed.

(46:31):
And Caitlyn, now that I've found you, I have my
purpose again. And Dean doesn't just say that, like when
he says that there's a there's something very deep with
him within him saying I'm now a husband to you,
and yes, I was a son and I lost my
mother and once that happened, like she was such a
great woman that I didn't know where to turn.

Speaker 3 (46:48):
And now that I found.

Speaker 2 (46:49):
You, like I know what I am again, And that
to me is when I lost it, because like, I
haven't lost a parent, I haven't lost, you know, somebody
very close to me love. But like for him to
struggle with that for seventeen years and I know he has,
and then for him to stand it there and be like,
but today's the day I have it back.

Speaker 3 (47:10):
Ugh?

Speaker 4 (47:11):
Yeah, yeah, no, I just I feel like we've all
gotten to watch Dean grow into Like when he met Caylen,
it was so different. It was like everything all of
us felt it because it was so different in how
he was with her, And you can watch when he
talks about her, looks at her, you can feel this

(47:33):
just like respect or something like there's something about him
that just like thinks she's the greatest.

Speaker 1 (47:39):
Well, I just think it's like even in the small
nuanced things, you know, like he said, like I've never
finished a project until like you came around, and like
you know what I mean, like little like she really
makes him a better person, and like that is something
that's so rare and so beautiful and so just to
know that like he found that in her is so special.

Speaker 5 (47:57):
Yeah, and he's like matured but also stayed true to himself.
And I think Ben, what you were saying is like
we know that that sentimentality is in him, but because
he doesn't often say it out loud, it was so
much more mushy, Like we just felt so much because
he was saying it.

Speaker 2 (48:16):
Yeah, we felt it. Well, we have a few minutes
left with you all, and we're going to speed round
some of the last things because we can agree. Caylen
was incredible. She's beautiful, she's just awesome. She really hosted
us all weekend as much credit as loved to give
the Dean for doing this wedding.

Speaker 3 (48:31):
He didn't plan anything.

Speaker 2 (48:34):
Yeah, so you know, she was absolutely fantastic and made
for one of the most special weekends I can remember
in my life, just being with all of you and
being with them and celebrating them the way we did.
Then after the wedding, we had a great sit down dinner,
nothing crazy there with when it comes to like, just
a really good camaraderie breaking bread together. And then we

(48:56):
went into the party, which was a party. They had
the Jordan Con band there, who has been at a
lot of Bachelor Nation weddings, including my own and Ashley's wedding.
They're the best band wedding band or one of the
best like live music bands I've ever heard, because they
put on a good show. The unique part of their
party was they did have a tattoo artist come in.
Did anybody here get a tattoo? I had signed up,

(49:19):
I was getting one, but we were too far down
the list and then I went to bed before they
got to me.

Speaker 4 (49:23):
Yeah, you ghosted the party early.

Speaker 5 (49:25):
Only there was a little good We already talked about
that on the last podcast. He talked about how he
was going to get like social fatigue and he just
wanted to leave being his best self. But at the
tattoo thing, so you guys had like a sheet to
choose from, and they were all like predecided, which is
why I wasn't a total proponent of Jared getting his

(49:46):
first tattoo there, because I would There's just a couple
of specific things that Jared's talked about getting, and I'm like,
I don't want you to just like put something on
your body that doesn't mean anything to do it.

Speaker 4 (49:57):
I think there was like a good twelve hours.

Speaker 6 (49:59):
Like when we found out there's gonna tattoos, Rob and
I were like, let's do it, and we were like.

Speaker 1 (50:02):
Yeah, and then like as we started learning more, we
were like, maybe not for my first one.

Speaker 4 (50:07):
Yeah, I know.

Speaker 5 (50:08):
I think Jared would have done it though for Dean,
So he put his name on the list for Dean,
also knowing that they probably weren't going to get to him,
but like, yeah, I was like, I want you to
for Dean. But I also don't know.

Speaker 4 (50:20):
Many people not tattoos.

Speaker 6 (50:21):
You see how many people got tattoos.

Speaker 2 (50:23):
It was not That's why I said I could never
get to it. I would have either done the mountains,
which I want to do anyways, for a couple of reasons.

Speaker 5 (50:30):
Yeah, that's been good and you have plenty.

Speaker 2 (50:32):
Yeah, and and my one buddy who's super sick right now,
who had to move from Denver, like I would have
got him kind of in memory of him, because he
has that same tattoo, and I've been like, that's sick.

Speaker 3 (50:41):
So I really wanted that.

Speaker 2 (50:42):
Or the other option was blue cheese stuffed olives, which
they had on there.

Speaker 3 (50:46):
Also.

Speaker 2 (50:47):
I don't know why they had olives, but I was like,
I love a good martini, like everything.

Speaker 5 (50:52):
It's a little and meaningful.

Speaker 4 (50:53):
For I love spicy mark. But you couldn't scale it
to size, so I was gonna have one like this big,
And I just said, you know what, I don't think
that this.

Speaker 3 (51:03):
Is the move.

Speaker 5 (51:04):
Do you have tattoos at all? Tacca, No, Yes, we're
all like all us girls are of tattoos.

Speaker 2 (51:10):
Yeah, and I got them, so we were going to
It was an amazing party, a wonderful celebration. No no drama,
which I think is an important note for us to
highlight is there was no at least drama that I
know of now, said of my own causes and anxieties
in my own head. You just don't put me around
people that much for like straight periods of time, because

(51:33):
it's a lot of fun for me, and then I
question everything.

Speaker 3 (51:36):
I just don't do it.

Speaker 4 (51:37):
You are so wonderful, Like I think everyone around you
had an amazing time. So I think it's just.

Speaker 1 (51:44):
By this, Like, no, I'm not shot anytime Robbie's around you,
He's like, Ben is such a great god. I've never
heard anybody say anything like that. You've said anything uncomfortable.

Speaker 3 (51:55):
But here's the point.

Speaker 2 (51:57):
And I think out of all the details of Dean
and Kailn's wedding, I think this is an important point
for people listening because you know, kind of the hidden
things that we find out about ourselves, and these really
cool events oftentimes are relatable in a lot of ways
to other people, where it's like, okay, you guys can
say that, and I appreciate you saying that. It does
mean a lot to me because I do get really
jacked up about it. You could ask Jess yes to

(52:18):
hear it. But I don't think I'm alone in that right,
Like I think a lot of us go to these
social events and oftentimes. I think Haley and I talked
about this where we'll say no to social events because
or maybe it was you and Ibeca, like because of
the fear of what we'll feel like after we leave them,
like will we feel this anxiety, the social anxiety because

(52:38):
we're like, why do we say that? Or why didn't
we talk to that person long enough? Or did we
really hear what they were saying? Did they mean something else?
Like I in my life, as I've gotten older, have
stayed away from going to social situations because I know
my reaction afterwards will be like one of like heaviness,
and that's something I need to work on. And I
realized it this weekend and a weekend that it was
drama free in a weekend that was beautiful. We can

(53:00):
filled with people that we all love and care about,
celebrating two people that we care about, those anxieties still
come up, and it's like, Okay, now it's somebody to
work on. And that's why at two o'clock this afternoon,
I'm going to therapy.

Speaker 3 (53:13):
Did you book?

Speaker 5 (53:14):
In response to this.

Speaker 6 (53:18):
Perfect timing?

Speaker 2 (53:19):
Okay, we do have to close an amazing time with
all of you. Thank you for coming on the podcast.
Thanks for talking about it. I'm just it's so amazing
to see how life and how God has interacted in
all of our lives to keep bringing us back together
in an amazing scenarios with new people in our lives
as well, like the Robbies, like the Hayleys. You know,

(53:39):
Jared's always been around, like the Jessicas. It's really fun
to be able to do this together and get to
see where all of us have evolved in life. And uh,
I couldn't be more more happy that we got to
do this together.

Speaker 4 (53:52):
Me too, it was the best Me too, sad.

Speaker 3 (53:55):
Thanks for having us.

Speaker 4 (53:58):
