Speaker 1 (00:00):
This is the Ben and Ashley I Almost Famous podcast
with on our radio.
Speaker 2 (00:06):
It's Almost Famis Podcast. We're here today giving you all
the latest news that's happened in Bachelor Nation. Ashley, We're
gonna kick it off with a banger. You ready? Yeah,
that's a banger. I see it. I see where we're going.
Kat is owing Dale Moss broken up.
Speaker 3 (00:25):
Question mark, I'd say absolutely, yes, yeah, for sure. Well
I'm sorry. Kat unfollowed Dale on Instagram. That's all we
need to know. Dale still follows Kat. The last picture
they posted was September eleventh at the Padres game, so
it's been over two months since they posted anything of
(00:47):
each other and she unfollowed. So do they ever make
an announcement or they just let it fizzle out they
goes to the Bachelor audience.
Speaker 2 (00:56):
Well, I mean I think at this point, like us
talking about this on this show, I think people are
now going to start to make them make an announcement, right,
I mean, I think we've talked about this. Do they
need to? I mean, it's their business, but they did
meet on TV, and so don't you think there's a
little bit of an obligation to be like, hey, nothing
more than we're not together anymore.
Speaker 3 (01:18):
I think so, I bet.
Speaker 2 (01:20):
Kat would come back on this show. Maybe we just
try to get her as a guest.
Speaker 3 (01:24):
I think Kat has ever been on our show. She
thought that like we were mean, But I was like Kat,
I this was back during her first season of Paradise.
I thought, he always liked you a lot, and I've
always shown how much I like her during this past season.
Speaker 2 (01:43):
Let's dig into this a little bit, but the science
point to it, and so we can at least tentatively
say that the relationship is not social media thriving. That's
how we'll phrase it. That's hilarious.
Speaker 3 (01:56):
Yeah, I mean, and we didn't really we hate to
be judge think that this one was really going to
go places. Those are two people that have huge egos
and personalities and and and I don't mean that as
an ult.
Speaker 2 (02:13):
It's a disc as a.
Speaker 3 (02:14):
Huge ego, but like, I think you need to balance
somebody with a bigger ego as somebody who's a little
bit more humble.
Speaker 2 (02:20):
But I will just say this, when I was with
them during Your Break, I was kind of shocked how
good they got along. It did feel like there was
a lot of no you go ahead and talk for
this one stuff, which is like never a great sign.
But I did think they had a chance at something.
Speaker 3 (02:40):
Okay, I get it, and maybe they still will. Maybe
they're still working through it. Except for Shan follow him,
so probably not.
Speaker 2 (02:48):
But I also will say in the same breath, if
they were to break up, it was not an like
to be a fly on the wall with that breakup. Yeah,
it was not good.
Speaker 3 (02:58):
That was the hottest heated breakup ever. I don't mean
the hottest as and sexiest. I mean it was hot headed.
It could have been sexy too, you know, Yeah, they're
definitely hot.
Speaker 2 (03:08):
Okay. This next headline is captivating. This story in itself
is worthy of watching hours of TikTok and Instagram four. Actually,
you are going to get an injustice here because you're
an expert and you're only going to get a few
(03:28):
seconds to be able to explain this. But the details
of this story are TV worthy. Here's the headline. Bachelor
alum on Yaika says she made a grave mistake of
marrying a con artist. Now, actually, we during headlines talked
(03:51):
about her getting married, celebrated that here, we didn't know
this guy. This headline speaks to some thing and goodness, gracious,
it's a story alrighty.
Speaker 3 (04:04):
So do you guys remember last year two years ago? Oh,
my gosh, it may have been two years ago. My
mind is rocked. There was this woman that was telling
the story of her con artist's ex husband. It was
Resa Johnson and her series was so compelling. She like
five hours of TikTok content and you just had to
(04:26):
keep scrolling to find out what happened next. And apparently
this is kind of happening with Anyeika, who she was
on Culton season. I remember she was quite the personality. Well,
she ends up meeting her now ex Martin in twenty
twenty two, and they announced their engagement in April twenty
(04:47):
twenty four, and after nearly two years together, she confirmed
their breakup just this past fall, and she said, I've
canceled the weddings, multiple weddings, and Ma and I are
no longer together. I can't really put into words what's
been going on, but I'm healing a little more every day.
But this is how she kind of starts the TikTok
(05:10):
series out Lesson number one, don't be too trusting. Trust
should be earned and should not be given out like
free samples. It's okay to give someone the benefit of
the doubt, but what you cannot do is give someone
blind access to your resources, your life, your heart without
them showing signs of consistency. So the name of her
(05:31):
TikTok series is called the Danish Deception, and apparently it
is going TikTok viral And I can't wait to watch
this new viewer right here.
Speaker 2 (05:44):
Here's the crazy part to me, because we're going to
get the back end story Ashley, but there's a front
and story and like a mid story that are very important,
Like they obviously were getting married, they were intimate, they
were vulnerable with each other, they had made big life
decisions together, they were talking about the future together. And
(06:06):
then at the back end you find out this dude
is just I mean, from what we know, like stealing
her money, stealing everything.
Speaker 3 (06:14):
We need to be clear, like this is just like
Reesa's she has Right now, I want to say, okay
six times, She's got at least sixty videos up here.
It looks like sixty videos, some of which have gotten
up to eight million views, Like one video has been
(06:36):
up to eight million views, But the general amount of
watch each of these videos has has about six hundred thousand.
Speaker 2 (06:44):
Yes, this is a big deal. I don't know if
it feels like we need to like just dive in
to hear all the before mid everything. Absolute crazy story.
This guy was stealing everything from her and and she's
left now to tell us about it. But how does
(07:05):
she retrieve this money? Right, there's got to be a
legal case for that. Maybe we'll see.
Speaker 3 (07:12):
Well, I'm going to report back in like a week
after I watch all of it.
Speaker 2 (07:16):
Yeah, dive in for us, Ashley. That sounds like something
you could do. I would never do.
Speaker 3 (07:20):
Oh my gosh. Yeah, we're going to get into it
more over after the holiday, So stay tuned to this story.
Speaker 2 (07:37):
Let's move into some like things other than breakups for
a bit. Bachelor Nations Serene Russell and Brendan share glimpse
into their long distance romance. Now, if you're unfamiliar, Serene
and Brendan have been dating for a while now. They
seem very happy together. It wasn't a romance has started
(07:59):
on our televisions, though they started outside of television. Correct.
Speaker 3 (08:03):
Yeah, not to be confused with the fact that both
of them have been with other Bachelor Family members romantically
for a while. So if you remember, Serene was with Brandon,
not Brendan, a couple seasons back on Bachelor in Paradise,
(08:24):
and then Brendan this is Brendan Morris. You'll remember him
as being like the ultimate villain on Bachelor in Paradise.
So he was with Piper in Paradise and they had
that whole controversy because they had planned their entire relationship prior. Well,
both of those relationships went sour. The ones that were
(08:48):
formed on Bachelor formed quote quote on Bachelor in Paradise,
and now the two of them, this is Serene and Brenden.
They had been dating for over a year now. So
they were at US Weekly's Reality Stars of the Year
party and they say that the long distance is working
(09:09):
pretty well for them. Said, pretty much, since we've officially
been together, we've seen each other multiple times a month,
and they recently went on a little vacation together and
that was the And they said that the only longest
time they've ever gone without seeing each other in person
was like three or four weeks. But they FaceTime every
single day. He said that he usually gets a call
(09:34):
around eight in the morning. It depends on whether she's
coming to La or if she's if he's going to
go to Oklahoma City. But it's been a good balance
of going back and forth to each other's cities. And
then he also said that she's coming to Massachusetts to
meet his family very soon. And that's literally it's really
awesome for them.
Speaker 2 (09:53):
I'm really happy, Ashley. We love Crystal Nielsen here podcast
and her and Miles Bowls. You know, we've kind of
walked through their baby number two journey. Now they welcome
baby number two. But I did see today on social
media that she posted, Hey, I'm sorry. I had big
(10:16):
plans for kind of this announcement, this post and this week,
but things didn't necessarily go according to plan on the
birth of our baby number two.
Speaker 3 (10:24):
Yeah, everybody's fine and healthy now. She hasn't gotten into
what happened, but it was the birth then happened according
to what she'd hoped and planned. Miles actually got on
her social media a couple of days ago saying that like,
everyone's fine now, but it was quite the event. So
(10:46):
Crystal said that she's just kind of like taking some
time to heal, recovery. She said, we have a recovery
road ahead of us, but we are overwhelmed with gratitude
for the heroic doctors, nurses, and medical two games who
fought for us, and for every single prayer and message
and love from our friends and family. We're seriously so
(11:10):
thank like, we're so grateful that two of them are
okay and at home now. But yeah, I'm very I'm
so sorry for whatever they had to go through last week.
Speaker 2 (11:19):
And we don't have a lot of information yet, but
she did say, you know, and obviously give her time,
give them time to reflect, heal and process. But we
will be telling you more as we know more. Final
headline of today is about Kitlin Bristow. Kaylin Bristow went
(11:41):
onto the Bobby Cast Bobby Bones's podcast, and the headline
is this, Kaitlin Bristow thinks relationship with x fiance Jason
Tartik is it weird that I forget that they were
engaged because in hindsight they're a very strange couple. Yeah,
I forgot they were ever engaged. We're just like, how
(12:02):
did they get there? Yeah? I don't know. There's a
lot of questions here. Caylen Bristow thinks relationship with ex
fiance Jason Tartet could be a trauma bond. Goodness, Caitlin.
We all know how much I love Kaylin, but I'm
like getting engaged to not be trauma bond. Like you
have to stop before that, Like you have to stop
(12:23):
before you get to this point. No, it's because they
are both on the show. So she talks about another
great reason to marry somebody.
Speaker 3 (12:32):
First, she was talking about Sean and she said, I
was with him for three and a half years, and
in the contract for the Bachelorette, if you stay together
longer than two years, you get to keep the ring.
So I still have my ring for that.
Speaker 2 (12:45):
Good for her, I had to give mine back.
Speaker 3 (12:47):
Well, yeah, you weren't. It wasn't it was a year
and a ho was like.
Speaker 2 (12:50):
One hundred and seventy five thousand dollars ring or something.
Speaker 3 (12:52):
I think that they like amplify the cost of those
things when they tell us because there's no way that
was one hundred and there's absolutely no way.
Speaker 2 (13:01):
But okay, well that helps me feel better because I
was like, what about another six months?
Speaker 3 (13:05):
Yeah, they also say like my ring's like forty thousand.
I'm like, I'm pretty sure it is not, but like
I am grateful for it. I love my ring and
I don't want any other ring, but uh, I think
it's forty thousand. Anyway, she goes, and then I started
dating another Bachelor guy, which was in my head, I
just felt, you know, when you bond with people, it
feels great. I guess it could have been a trauma
(13:27):
bond and you know what other people go through, you know,
they knew what each other had gone through on the show.
And then she was like, yeah, so.
Speaker 2 (13:36):
I'll just go for another bachelor guy.
Speaker 3 (13:37):
Great. Uh, she's just joking with the She's throwing the
term around trauma bond here.
Speaker 2 (13:44):
Yeah, I honestly, I mean I wasn't kidding, Like I
forgot that her and Jason River engaged. That's hilarious. I
had I like, it's I thought they dated and was
like serious, I forgot that.
Speaker 3 (13:54):
Yeah that he like actually proposed and he did it
in the podcast room.
Speaker 2 (14:00):
Know he didn't, Yeah he did.
Speaker 3 (14:02):
So there are like cameras, Yeah I remember, no so
that it was on records so they could watch it
back over and over.
Speaker 2 (14:09):
Yeah. You know what I hope for Caitlin what I
hope she finds the most like gentle but wonderful human
who cares about her and guides her and like loves
her for who she is, because she's amazing and in
(14:31):
that this like social media thing can be hers but
not necessarily has to be his. That's what I hope totally. Yeah, yeah, yeah, same,
Well I wonder if that guy's out there anyways.
Speaker 3 (14:46):
We'll have more on the on Yaika story next week
and until then, guys, have a very very wonderful Thanksgiving holiday.
Speaker 2 (14:56):
We'll be back. I've been Ben, I've been Ashley. Yeah.
