Speaker 1 (00:00):
This is the Ben and Ashley I Almost Famous podcast
with iHeartRadio.
Speaker 2 (00:06):
It's a special episode of the Almost Famous podcast.
Speaker 3 (00:09):
Ashley and myself are back.
Speaker 2 (00:11):
From an amazing weekend in the mountains. We have so
many stories to talk about and break down about the wedding.
Most of those are gonna occur in a podcast that
we're recording with two other people who were at this wedding,
Tanya and Becca, and they have some great stories as well.
But Ashley and I have some personal things to figure out.
(00:31):
I'm going to try to tell a little story here
and then we'll get into headlines today and as I said,
with deep dive into the wedding here in the next episode.
But there's two stories that kind of happen that don't
really give the details of the wedding. Leading up to
this wedding, I had told Ashley. Ashley, it gets really
cold at night in Colorado, like right now, it's down.
It's amazing. It's amazing how cold it gets. It's beautiful
(00:58):
during the day, free at night. We were in the mountains.
We won't get the location until the next episode. Well,
I tell her this and then I don't know. Twenty
four hours later, I'm on a text stard with like
four girls.
Speaker 4 (01:11):
No, we were already on the textrad though.
Speaker 2 (01:14):
They're they're freaking out on me, like oh my gosh,
are we going to die?
Speaker 3 (01:19):
And I'm like no.
Speaker 2 (01:20):
And then I started feeling guilty, like I think I've
ruined Dean and Kiln's wedding and I've like given it
a bad name. But I was serious when I was like,
I love Ashley, and I love Ashley like a sister
to me, and I would not want a sibling of
mine to go to the mountains unprepared, and there were
people there unprepared.
Speaker 4 (01:38):
You prepared me. I took two good coats and I
was not cold. I was never really.
Speaker 3 (01:42):
Cold, but you would have been.
Speaker 4 (01:44):
But you freaked me out thinking that there was like
going to be what one You know that I was
freaked out because like I wasn't going to be able
to talk to Dawson, which I was because we were
in a special little area with why.
Speaker 2 (01:52):
But again I wasn't exactly wrong saying if you aren't
in the main cabin, their Wi Fi is limited. So
I'm gonna share this. So I'm on this thread, and
all of a sudden, I get like these girls worrying
how cold it is. They're freaking out, and I'm like, hey,
it is going to be cold. I'm glad you've all
asked prepare yourselves, but Jess, can I bring blankets? Then
(02:16):
at one point I think somebody asked me or I
just do it because I'm a jerk. They're like, what,
let's just say somebody asked, like, what kind.
Speaker 4 (02:25):
Of see Yeah, because somebody is afraid of bears? Why
are we keeping them anonymous?
Speaker 2 (02:30):
Because we're going to talk to him next episode? And
here's how the story goes down. They ask what kind
of animals we're going to see? I take a screenshot
of the place that we're staying, like warnings for what
animals will be around and after bears because there are
bears there. It says they love a good tasty treat.
The response that when I send this picture was this
(02:51):
person said, am I a good tasty treat? And I'm like,
you know what, at this point in my life, I
want to have a little fun with this. So I said,
you're only a tasty treat if you've had sweets or
a Snickers bar within the last five days, then bears
love you.
Speaker 4 (03:04):
You were being particularly particular because he said, you said
a Snickers bar. So I was like, oh, maybe there's
something about the nuts and caramel.
Speaker 2 (03:15):
Oh, it was panic on that text thread. Panic panic.
So that's one story we'll share more. The other side
is I didn't get to say goodbye to Ashley. We
won't talk about this next episode, and I don't know why,
because we came down for brunch the next morning and
I specifically asked, where's Ashley and Jared?
Speaker 3 (03:33):
I really want to see them before I leave.
Speaker 2 (03:35):
And we waited around, we had brunch, and then we
left because you weren't there.
Speaker 4 (03:40):
Yeah, because my flight was at nine.
Speaker 3 (03:42):
That's what I was wondering.
Speaker 2 (03:43):
Because then on the way home, Jessica goes, oh, Ashley
and Jared are already on a flight, and I said,
I didn't know their flight was so early.
Speaker 4 (03:49):
Yeah, we got to leave at six thirty.
Speaker 3 (03:51):
It was poor planning on our part.
Speaker 4 (03:53):
Oh, so that's why you irish goodbye because you planned
on saying us the next day. And not that I
don't care, I was making but I was like making
fun of you because I was like, Ben got too drunk.
Speaker 2 (04:02):
And he so I I had. I had two cocktails
on the wedding night. Oh wow, I did not have
to get put to bed like some No, I get
you know this about me. Yeah, I get really socially exhausted.
And at one point I was in a conversation with
well because I go, go, go, and then all of
a sudden, I was in a conversation with somebody that
(04:23):
I really like, and I realized that like I wasn't listening,
I wasn't engaged, I was tired, and so I just
told Jess, hey, you don't have to but like I know,
my best self is gone now, like it's not coming
back tonight and so nice. Instead of staying here and
like fighting this, I had such a blast that I
want to leave with a good memory of this wedding
(04:44):
and not the fact that like I stayed up way
later and I should have and I ended up being
a jerk to somebody.
Speaker 4 (04:50):
Oh I really respect that, because I feel like a
lot of us get to that social exhaustion point, especially
one you know, like the wedding is over a six
hour but then you feel like it's rude to leave
when you feel socially spent.
Speaker 2 (05:05):
I learned it from George Costanza. You leave on top
when you leave at the peak of a party.
Speaker 4 (05:10):
My mom always says that.
Speaker 2 (05:12):
Yeah, because for me, I wasn't trying to disrespecting and Kaylin,
I wasn't trying to like we had given like it
was all weekend. It was one hundred percent of our weekend. Yeah,
you know, we're around each other. And I thought my
best self would be offered to them if like I
was still my best self. Now, that might be selfish
and you could probably argue to some selfishness and that.
(05:34):
But I went back and it was it was nine thirty,
like and the way you know we had Yeah, so
and I had a big night the night before.
Speaker 4 (05:44):
Well, so I kind of switched I when we were
going to play games the night before on Friday night. Yeah,
Jared and I had already planned. We're like, oh, around nine,
we'll go to bed, but then like gay a game
started at nine, and I was like, oh, no, I'm
going to lose myself. So we're like, okay, find the
one game and then we gotta go up there because
if we don't go retreat from this, then we'll be
(06:05):
too spend for the next day. So we totally understand
the balance and what my It's interesting that you say
that you leave the party at peak, because my mom
always taught me you have to like design your party
to like you leave when you're having you want them
to leave when they're having fun. So like whether the
party like ends like an hour before, that's how That's
(06:26):
how I felt like we were with our wedding where
it was like I.
Speaker 3 (06:28):
Had a blast, and I will leave.
Speaker 2 (06:30):
I left the wedding and I woke up the next
day and I was like, that was one of the
most incredible.
Speaker 3 (06:34):
Weddings I've ever been to.
Speaker 2 (06:36):
Yeah, but if I would have stayed another hour and
a half, I think I would have woken up the
next morning but like, I'm exhausted. That was a great wedding,
but I'm so tired. But I didn't feel that way.
Speaker 4 (06:46):
Well, I love that social lesson that you just taught us.
Speaker 2 (06:48):
All. Yeah, it's just something I found out about myself
that you know when it's time, and it was time
for me.
Speaker 3 (06:55):
I gave it my all.
Speaker 2 (06:56):
We walked into the cabin that night and I said, Jessica,
I gave it my all tonight. I had a blast,
but I gave my all and my all is now gone.
Speaker 4 (07:05):
I have this Instagram reel that I'm going to post
of you. It's like my work husband when he goes
to wattings basically, and you'll see peek Ben Higgins and
you'll see how much he exerted.
Speaker 3 (07:18):
I gave it a lot.
Speaker 2 (07:20):
Actually, final question before we get in the headlines, speaking
of work spouses. I wondered this in a drive home.
I was talking to Jess about this.
Speaker 3 (07:29):
You and I.
Speaker 2 (07:30):
You know, it's funny like at the wedding, I think
we both made the joke. We talk to each other
every week, multiple times. We see each other in person
very rarely. But if there's if there's five people in
my life that I know I think the most about
what's currently going on in their life, it's you. Like
you fall in that category because there's not a lot
(07:50):
that like slip through the cracks with us. We just
talk about stuff and we talk about it all the time. Yeah,
and so when you see me at a wedding, and
obviously we have a special relationship one that like I
could probably embarrass you, you could probably embarrass me, But
we're also very endearing towards each other.
Speaker 3 (08:08):
Are you proud of me?
Speaker 4 (08:09):
Yeah? Always?
Speaker 3 (08:11):
Okay, good, I just want I'm proud of you.
Speaker 4 (08:12):
I was proud of my Gosh, I'm always proud of you.
Speaker 2 (08:15):
It would be embarrassing if you're like, yeah, but like
he's my codes but he kind of sucks and like just.
Speaker 3 (08:21):
Obligated.
Speaker 4 (08:22):
I'm always so in hout of you.
Speaker 2 (08:24):
Okay, good, Well, it was a lot of fun. We
have a lot to talk about like that. I know
that feels like we just talked about a lot of
the wedding we did it, Like there's so much more
to break down and like amazing stories and memories and becon.
Tanya will be coming on this podcast, uh to record
a separate episode where we go to the details of
Dean and Kielan's wedding and.
Speaker 3 (08:43):
We'll just tease it with this.
Speaker 2 (08:45):
Uh. For me, it was one of the most special
weekends I've had in my memory, just with people I
love in one place together.
Speaker 4 (08:54):
Yeah, and I there's another wedding coming up that I
feel like a couple of the same people will be
real niged soon and it makes it made me feel
good because I was having such a good time there.
I was like, Oh, I hope that we can like
kind of have this round all over again in a
couple of weeks.
Speaker 2 (09:10):
Yeah, and I think we will, but just different, just different.
So yeah, we'll going to Deana Caaln's wedding again. We
got a very special episode for you. We are just
on the heels of it. I mean, we just got
home late last night from the wedding and so we
are tired, but we are fresh with our memories. We
(09:34):
do some big headlines to break down.
Speaker 4 (09:37):
Today's big, big, big big imagination.
Speaker 2 (09:41):
Some follow ups from past headlines, and here's one of them.
Bachelor Nations Becca Koufrem gives birth to first baby with
Thomas Jacobs.
Speaker 4 (09:52):
Yay, we don't. We haven't seen the kid yet, but
it happened, assuming it probably happened Secember twenty first and
twenty second. People were speculating because both of their instagrams
I got silent for two days and we haven't yees,
so we haven't seen the baby. But what they did
post was a cute picture of their front step. It
(10:15):
says there's a sign that says baby sleeping, Please don't
ruin this for us, and then there's another hanging that
that's what the Matt says, which I'm like, hold on,
I need to get one of those because there's so
many times like the FedEx guy Amazon ips like ring
the bell during the nap time and I'm just like,
don't ron this for me. And then there's another sign
that they had that goes baby sleeping. So then they
(10:39):
both posted that, and then Thomas wrote on into stories
soaking in all the love and snuggles for the time being,
but we have a new little pumpkin. Thankful, blessed and
beyond words, and like she she shared that as well.
Speaker 2 (10:53):
Yeah, it's a I mean, there's gonna be so much
more we talk about when it comes to this new
life into the world. But I mean we both are
so pumped for them because you know, I know Beca
very well. I don't know Thomas as well, but like
I know Beca well enough to see her transition in
(11:15):
life and how happy she is and how confident she is,
and how just excited I am to now have this
new life in the world because of them.
Speaker 4 (11:23):
Yeah. So, actually, at the time of this recording, right now,
at two pm Eastern time, they posted a picture and
revealed the name of their baby. It is Benson Lee
Jacob's kufriin oh Di do we know this? So they
were gonna do Jacob's Kufriin. I feel like I did
hear this, So they're putting her last name as like
(11:46):
the last last name Benson Lee. Jacob's Kufrein very cute
and he was born on September twenty first. It's gonna
be Benny for short. And ben Jsin is after the
town where Becca's dad was born and raised. That's so sweet.
And Lee is for Thomas's father who sacrifices so much
(12:10):
for this country and others. And obviously, she says, Jacobs
Kouferin is pretty self explainable, but we wanted both parts
of us to make this little one hole.
Speaker 2 (12:20):
Can't wait till that kid gets called bean, like I do,
little Bean, a little bean well.
Speaker 4 (12:26):
Being author really cute pictures of them. He was born
at seven forty five am on September twenty first, and
he was eight pounds twenty one inches. He's we could
barely see his face and the pictures it was so cute.
Another Bachelor in Paradise.
Speaker 2 (12:42):
Baby, a lot of them.
Speaker 3 (12:44):
You talk.
Speaker 2 (12:45):
You talked about babies a lot this weekend, Like I
feel like like the resident Yeah, you're the resident parents
now of Bachelor Nation.
Speaker 4 (12:52):
It's really weird the way that conversation divides. Now when
you have a group of millennials together that like the
parents are always like, so, what stage you were in?
And there are so many people Okay, so many. We
were one of three couples that all had children within
the same week of each other. Mm hmm is that great?
Everybody talks about babies, and I do like talking about
(13:12):
it with you guys, because I'd like to imagine you
as parents, and we do like to I guess, like
kind of prepare because I think we Jared and I
like realistically prepare people. Yeah, but like a scary way,
I hope.
Speaker 2 (13:24):
No, like a real way, a way that I always
imagine parenting was gonna be. But like nobody's really willing
to tell you it unless they feel comfortable enough with
you and that they know you enough where you're not
going to like panic out or get angry at them
for being like, you know, no, it's great. Okay, weird
(13:44):
transition here. I guess I know where you're going with this. Yeah,
I don't even know how to transition, but I think parenting. Yeah,
Bachelor along Clayton Eckerd. Now, we we did highlight this
on the on The Rachel.
Speaker 4 (14:02):
Actually, I don't think the Rachel episodes out yet because
we're saving that for Closer to Paradise, which is later
this week. But you guys will get Rachel's insight because
it was very much breaking news the day that we
were interviewing Rachel.
Speaker 3 (14:16):
It was it was breaking news of me too, which.
Speaker 4 (14:19):
Made it even more fun. So here's the sitch. Clayton
is in the midst of like a paternity debate, well
a lawsuit, and it was filed in August, and it
was filed by an expected mother who's actually expecting twins,
and she's demanding a paternity test from Clayton. She's supposedly
a thirty three year old podcast host from Scottsdale, Arizona,
(14:41):
and doesn't he live in Scottsdale She wishes, even though
she's a podcast so she wishes to remain anonymous. In
the lawsuit, she claims that they engage in sexual activity
on May twentieth in a one night stand. He talks
to her as if it was somebody not safe, not
(15:02):
a one night stand, but some of the he actually
very much does not like who he knows and does
not like, So she's dealing with these twins in February,
and he has seemingly been putting off the paternity test,
but now has agreed to it. So he posted on
(15:22):
his Instagram story on Thursday.
Speaker 2 (15:26):
Let's pause here for a second, actually, because I think
when they listened to the episode with Rachel, it was
breaking news at the time. I was surprised, you were
surprised Rachel was reacting to it in the way that
you expect somebody as close to the situation as Rachel
to react like she's obviously wishing every party the best
case scenario here, whatever that means, and the truth to
(15:48):
come out like that the truth is told, and that
everybody's responsible for the truth that is highlighted in the shown.
You and I, I think our reaction that I thought
about a lot this week was this whole situation feels odd.
It's obviously shocking news or or news that we haven't
really ever.
Speaker 3 (16:09):
Had to break before on the show.
Speaker 2 (16:10):
Yeah, and we said, Okay, if Clayton is standing firm
in the fact that these are not his kids, right
because she's pregnant twins, Yeah, then why wouldn't he get
the paternity test? That was our response to this was
nothing makes sense. On his side unless he gets a
paternity test. Now, yeah, that was before we knew that
(16:31):
he has now gotten a paternity test. So I just
want to make that clear that the timeline of this,
he's going to feel weird, Mark because at the time
we're like, he's still refusing or she's saying he's refusing
to get in, but now we're sharing no, he has
gotten one because he posted on social media.
Speaker 4 (16:47):
And we're gonna still want to air the interview the
way it was conducted because it's just more interesting like
that to get the real raw reaction and into at
the time have this breaking news where he wasn't going
to get the petity test, so he got it on
or he posted that he got it on Thursday. He
had to pay seven hundred and twenty five dollars for it,
(17:12):
and no clude.
Speaker 3 (17:12):
How much they cost it.
Speaker 4 (17:14):
Yeah, and I thought the initial interview, like the initial filing,
that she was going to pay for it. But then
maybe I'm totally wrong. He shared an email I believe
between her and him saying thanks for the call. My
confusion has been cleared up. I will take my portion
of the test on September twenty seventh, So maybe The
(17:38):
bottom line here is it's all cryptic, honestly, But by
the end of September, both sides because she has to obviously,
I guess Take one two will be the tests will
be taken, and then the first week of October the
results will come back. Yeah, and so yeah, that's what
(18:03):
we got. But do you guys, I think I need
to reread the quotes that he has been sending her.
And now, yes, there's screenshots between the two, and you
can fake screenshots very easily. But this is supposedly what
Clayton is saying to this pregnant woman. I don't believe
you for a second. I legitimately hate you right now.
You have lost your mind. And I hope you think
(18:26):
about how terrible this is that you would suggest me
to subject me to this. My person, this is my
personal hell. My personal hell would be having to be
part you being part of my life.
Speaker 3 (18:40):
Now that's me.
Speaker 2 (18:41):
The rest I hate you, that's mean too, But the
rest I can see where he'd be stressed out, like
if this is not true. Okay, so there's obviously two
scenarios here. Either he is the father or he's not
the father. If he is not the father, I can
see where he'd be like, you understand how terrible this
is for me, Like it's stressful. He's obviously very anxious
(19:02):
about it. He's saying some very mean things to her
in the midst of this. But we don't know enough
about the story to know if he's just literally like,
please stop like harassing.
Speaker 3 (19:12):
Now. If he is the father, he is the father.
Speaker 2 (19:15):
In this scenario, then he really needs to step up responsibility.
He needs to apologize for the things that he said.
Speaker 4 (19:34):
We have more, we have another more here, yeah, that
she has posted on Reddit herself, and in the Reddit post,
she claims that he told her these children if they
are mine, if they are mine, I would like you
(19:59):
to get an abortion or I or if you decide
to have them, I will have no part of their lives.
Oh goodness, Now anybody could claim to be anyone on Reddit.
Speaker 2 (20:11):
I was gonna say, so if we don't know who
she is, if she's anonymous, based on this whole thing,
how do we know that was her saying this?
Speaker 4 (20:17):
We don't, which is this is like total hearsay.
Speaker 2 (20:20):
Okay, I'm telling you right now, right this story only
becomes I think a story when we know the final
results because right now we don't know he's claiming one thing,
she's claiming another. It was all so weird until he
decided to get the paternity test. Now that that's happened,
(20:42):
I think we can actually like have a real journalistic
story with a start and a conclusion and truth added
into it, because right now it feels messy from both sides.
If he is saying these things like, shame on him.
If if that's the stuff he's doing now, if he
is the father needs to step up, and or he.
Speaker 4 (21:06):
Doesn't want to. He said I don't want to and
oh supposedly and this is a very unverified quote. Yeah,
so yes, we are just gossiping at this point.
Speaker 3 (21:16):
So when will we know the results?
Speaker 4 (21:18):
We will know the results the first week of October,
or at least they'll be in by then.
Speaker 2 (21:24):
I I uh, yeah, I mean, I just I think
this is a story that we need to to really
pause on until we know how this plays out, because
then I think it illuminates once we know the truth
both sides, and it really shows us, Okay, who has
(21:44):
who has walked through this thing with truth, and who
has walked through this thing just because they made a
really bad mistake, who's lying, who's not, Like, we just
don't know right now. All we know And I think
if we concluded this story is this is messy right
now and there's so much yet unknown. And I think Clayton,
by his social media posts by saying yeah, the truth
(22:07):
will set you free or something like that, I remember,
you know.
Speaker 3 (22:09):
With these pictures.
Speaker 2 (22:10):
I think he thought that everybody's gonna be like, oh, yeah,
he can't be the father because he's getting a paternity test.
I don't think it did what he thought it was
going to do. I think people are still waiting on
the results.
Speaker 4 (22:18):
To play Maury Povich right now. Ben, what do you
think the praternity test is going to say?
Speaker 2 (22:26):
Oh, that's such a good question. I have no idea.
I cannot answer it.
Speaker 4 (22:30):
Answer for I can't. I can't Mary.
Speaker 2 (22:33):
I I have a feeling he's a single dude. Like
my My thought would be it plays into the fact
that he is involved in this more than he thinks
he is.
Speaker 4 (22:45):
Okay, so he's also claiming that he only had oral
sex with her.
Speaker 3 (22:51):
That's not how you make kids.
Speaker 4 (22:53):
Just to make kids, how you make kids. So if
I had to get if I had to bet my
morey call is that he's not the father, because why
would he even lie and say it was just oral?
Why would he even lie and say that.
Speaker 3 (23:12):
I don't know, because then it's like we.
Speaker 4 (23:15):
Caught him in a total lie, Like now he has
the night totally not remembered correctly.
Speaker 2 (23:21):
This is just this is one of the This will
go down as a top ten most confusing headline that
we've had to share in the last you know, seven
or eight years of the show, because there's just so
much left unknown and it can and like, either way,
it's gonna be bad, right, Like if he is the father,
(23:42):
he's not.
Speaker 4 (23:42):
Looking better after this whole thing in any way.
Speaker 2 (23:46):
See, I think if he's not, then I think it's like, hey,
who is this?
Speaker 4 (23:49):
Like oh he's not the father, then it's just like
why would she do this? But no, but then like
she like spoke to a woman like this, But again,
screenshots also are so unreliable, like you can change anybody's
name in your phone and you can text yourself that.
Speaker 2 (24:06):
There's just so much we don't know, but we will
have more will continue to follow this story. It's obviously
very popular on social media and a lot of people
are sending their their thoughts on it, and I think
that's that's what happens when you have a big story
and you've been a part of Bachelor Nation, another big
story in Bachelor Nation, one that doesn't feel like it's ending.
Speaker 3 (24:31):
You know, Remember we talked.
Speaker 2 (24:32):
About Kaitlyn and Jason, and it's like, hey, this is
ending in a in a split and it feels like, yeah,
I know at this point, maybe it's a less of
an endearing split as we first kind of covered because
Kaitlyn came out and said, hey, Jason's not supporting her
well in this time or something. But the Daniel maltby
Michael a split, it felt weird from the get cut, right,
(24:55):
because she didn't know it was going to be announced
and that she made that very clear.
Speaker 4 (24:59):
Well, it was weird from the get because they didn't
announce it and they've been broken up for over three
months and just decided to kind of ignore all the inquiry.
Speaker 2 (25:09):
Yeah, ignore it, right, And so then he does come
out and he says it. She it's unexpected to her.
She uh then goes on her podcast and talks about
a very small it's a very small piece of the show.
I know there's some questions that kind of get led
into it. But here's the headline. Bachelor of Paradise is
daniel Malby claims Michael a broke up with her one
(25:31):
day after her egg retrieval.
Speaker 4 (25:35):
There you go, so like that's the drama here, Well
it's also been. It's also come out this week, and
Danielle was the one who said it that like it
was just not a amicable real split or like it
wasn't on her, like she did not want to break up,
and that the breakup came as a huge surprise. So
(25:57):
she says on her podcast that they went to New
York for the egg retrieval. Everything was so easy. He
came with her, He even gave her the retrieval shot
before she went to sleep, and we were having so
much fun, she said, everything was so sweet. She woke
up from the procedure, everything went well, Michael was there
(26:17):
with a Macho latte for her, and then she felt
very very blindsided. Understandably so when they got back to Cleveland,
whether it was the next day or a couple days later,
and he broke up with her, so obviously the timing
was like very very bad. To give Michael understanding in
(26:40):
this situation, I'm assuming what happened was just the fact
of Danielle not getting pregnant at this point, but like
freezing eggs and just thinking about children with her at
some point probably freaked him out because he probably didn't
see that much of a future with her and just
(27:01):
said that that would be the time that he had
to break up with her, because he's probably leading her
on at that point. I don't know though, but like
everything's bad, Like it's such a it's such a bad look.
Speaker 2 (27:12):
Yeah, I mean, you would hope your communication will be
very clear, especially when you're entering into these huge conversations
about family and next steps.
Speaker 4 (27:23):
I'm not defending him, by the way. I'm just saying
that I'm seeing that was his thought process.
Speaker 2 (27:28):
Yeah, I mean there's something that happened to him between
these two scenarios that made him.
Speaker 4 (27:31):
Go, whoa that he had to do it so quickly
after I get not leading somebody on, but like, yeah,
come back from having basically surgery for your eggs for
your fertility future.
Speaker 3 (27:42):
Wow.
Speaker 2 (27:43):
Well, the the details are still so non disclosed. I
don't know if they ever will be. Daniel has said
that she's not going to disclose details anymore. Than she
has because there are a kid and there is a
kid involved.
Speaker 3 (27:58):
But it's it's uh.
Speaker 2 (28:01):
But my personal opinion is it's shocking that they split
in the way that they did because watching them on
Paradise and knowing their story and her move to Cleveland,
which is a big move, huge move, I just thought
they were doing really well. I expected this to be
one that makes it so it is a paradise couple
(28:22):
that you would have said, hey, would you put your
money behind them make and obvious said yeah, no question.
And then it doesn't, and it ends like this, and
then it feels it feels weird, and it feels very
uncharacteristic of what we know about the two of them,
right like we would have thought. I would have thought,
I guess that if they did break up, it would
be amicable. There would be some type of warning, some money, yeah,
(28:45):
just telling people so they stopped questioning it, and then
they would have both moved on peacefully and and you know,
wish each other the best.
Speaker 3 (28:54):
It obviously ended poorly because there was.
Speaker 2 (28:57):
No announcement, like I'm assuming you don't make an announcement
when you are very obsessed to well.
Speaker 4 (29:03):
He also made the announcement on Jason's podcast, Like on
a whim. It wasn't planned, it wasn't talked too with her,
she said. He said, because he did a Q and A, Like,
you probably wouldn't have seen this because you had no
service this weekend. Not that you like her on Instagram
as much as I am, either, but he did a
Q and A about their breakup, which was like such
(29:24):
a bad look. Like Michael once, he like literally said, like,
here's a Q and A.
Speaker 3 (29:30):
So what were the details that he talked about?
Speaker 4 (29:32):
He said that he felt it was fine to like
just come out and say that they had broken up
because she had just deleted all the pictures of them
together from Instagram. Okay, and mind be like you know,
but like you'd still think that that was like something
that maybe you talked about and not just assumed and
like warned.
Speaker 2 (29:52):
Unless they're not on speaking terms, yeah, I don't know,
tough Friday, unless you're on speaking terms, I don't know.
Speaker 3 (29:59):
I think it.
Speaker 2 (30:00):
It's just it's shockingly sad to me because I really
wanted them to to make it. I thought they both
made a very cute couple that understood each other. I
thought there was a lot of patients and understanding in
their relationship from what we saw on TV, and then
I was shocked at the way it ended. I guess
I just I don't know. It just feels messier than
I thought it would.
Speaker 4 (30:20):
I wish I remember more things from his Q and A,
because I did watch the whole thing, even though I
thought it was a very bad decision for him to
do that. It was one of those car accidents you
couldn't help but look at. He also said responded to
somebody who said, like, you need therapy, and he was like,
I am in therapy, and like, ah bah, I.
Speaker 2 (30:42):
Mean I yeah, there's so much here still that we
just don't know. And you know, I don't know me
either of them very well. I've talked to Michael more
than I've talked to Danielle, and I hope he is
getting surrounded by some good people right now, because you
(31:03):
don't want this to get uglier than it needs to.
And maybe it's all done now. Maybe they both said
their piece, it's public.
Speaker 4 (31:09):
I feel like it's most here now.
Speaker 3 (31:11):
Really.
Speaker 2 (31:12):
Well, that's the big headlines of the day. Those are
some big ones. There are some doozies. Again, we're going
to be breaking down Dean and Kaylan's wedding here and
it will be released very shortly with two of our
favorite people, Tanya and Becka, who are both at the
wedding as well. There'll be a separate episode where we
give all the dirty details of the weekend, all the
(31:33):
funny stories, all the things that we did, all the
esthetics that went into the weekend for Kaylin and Dean.
Kaylen planned a amazing wedding and we cannot wait to
talk to you about it.
Speaker 3 (31:45):
But until that episode, I've been Ben.
Speaker 4 (31:47):
Ashley talked to you soon, like really soon. Bye.
